Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spinoff show Popping Off,
- 0:09Speaker 1: where we are digging deep on this season of Banner
- 0:12Speaker 1: Pump Rules. Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Popping
- 0:16Speaker 1: Off with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and.
- 0:18Speaker 2: And Emily Simpson. I'm happy to be back. I don't
- 0:21Speaker 2: like that a week off bothers me, and you felt
- 0:24Speaker 2: sad that you were missing me. I did add a
- 0:27Speaker 2: little fomo. Have to admit, well, I missed you too.
- 0:32Speaker 1: But luckily we have Carlos who will fill in, who
- 0:35Speaker 1: actually will be filling in for me the week after next,
- 0:39Speaker 1: so you'll be able to get some Carlo's time in
- 0:41Speaker 1: with yourself and then I can have some fomo and.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Okay, good. Then we'll be sure to shit talk you
- 0:46Speaker 2: as much as possible.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Perfect even though I didn't shit talking once.
- 0:52Speaker 2: To thank you, well you can. I enjoy it, I know,
- 0:56Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Okay, So the first thing, before we get into any
- 1:00Speaker 1: like headlines or the valley or Popping Off or any
- 1:04Speaker 1: of the things, I need to ask you a question
- 1:06Speaker 1: because I was talking about this when I was recapping
- 1:10Speaker 1: on to teas in a pod because on Potomac this
- 1:13Speaker 1: past episode they showed Meka going in for her incemination
- 1:19Speaker 1: process and her husband releasing yeah, and they had Mecca
- 1:26Speaker 1: go in with him to help him out.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Oh that's interesting. The crew was there.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So then I started thinking, like, because I was I
- 1:35Speaker 1: did incemination with Slade and IVF with Cruise and so,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and I mean I had multiple miscarriages, Like I was
- 1:42Speaker 1: in there a bunch and never once did any doctor
- 1:45Speaker 1: say to me like, do you want to go in.
- 1:48Speaker 2: With Edwyne to like never once. No, Well, I mean
- 1:52Speaker 2: I went through the same thing. I had five years
- 1:54Speaker 2: of going to you know, specialists. I did IVF myself
- 2:00Speaker 2: in twenty eleven. I was pregnant with twins. I've told
- 2:02Speaker 2: this story on Orange County but no, I mean Shane,
- 2:06Speaker 2: they had to get multiple samples from my husband, but
- 2:10Speaker 2: he always did it alone. I mean I always asked him.
- 2:13Speaker 2: He's like, oh, there's magazines in there, but I was
- 2:15Speaker 2: never in there. That would be weird.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I got well next is kind of like yelling at
- 2:20Speaker 1: her husband like hurry up, let's go, let's get this,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and I'm like I can't even because like it's kind
- 2:26Speaker 1: of a running joke between me and Edwin that the
- 2:31Speaker 1: fertility adoptor like never updated his porn.
- 2:34Speaker 2: So it's like from the eighties and right right, he
- 2:40Speaker 2: just got like two magazines in nineteen eighty three and
- 2:42Speaker 2: he's like this he'll do. He's like this was fine.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I'm I'm all right with a full blush. And then
- 2:47Speaker 2: I was like, am I the only one?
- 2:49Speaker 1: And so I just did an Instagram post and all
- 2:51Speaker 1: the women are responding, No.
- 2:53Speaker 2: We didn't go in. We didn't go in.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So I'm wondering, is this like a specialized doctor that allows.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I don't know. So is is it a bathroom or
- 3:01Speaker 2: is it a bedroom? Well, I mean if you're if
- 3:05Speaker 2: you're going to both be in there, like do they
- 3:07Speaker 2: make it comfy for you?
- 3:08Speaker 1: It was definitely a bathroom in this situation and Edwin's situation.
- 3:13Speaker 1: At our doctor, it wasn't a bedroom. It was like
- 3:15Speaker 1: a room that had a little TV with like a
- 3:17Speaker 1: VCR at the body. Yeah, that's what Shane went into.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's like a little dark a closet.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It's like, oh, in this dark closet and come out
- 3:25Speaker 2: when you're done.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So that was the same and but on Potomac They
- 3:30Speaker 1: even said to Nika, no saliva, no something else, and
- 3:34Speaker 1: I was like.
- 3:35Speaker 2: What, Oh, that's so weird that I don't know that's
- 3:39Speaker 2: a that's that's a doctor in his own category right there.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and then the comments are killing me on my
- 3:45Speaker 1: post though, because everyone's like, between all the other ship
- 3:48Speaker 1: that I had to do in order to get pregnant,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I feel like my husband could handle this one.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So yeah, that's how I felt too. I was like,
- 3:55Speaker 2: I've been poked, prodded, I've been in pain, I've cried,
- 3:59Speaker 2: I've bled. You can go in the closet, Like, go
- 4:03Speaker 2: in the closet, do something, and.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Get this ship done in a timely fashion, right, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: don't complain, and don't complain.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I don't care if this is ruining the mood,
- 4:14Speaker 2: get it. I don't care if you're embarrassed and everybody's
- 4:17Speaker 2: in the waiting room knowing what you're doing in there,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I can only imagine how relaxed Shane and Edie would
- 4:26Speaker 1: be when I sit in there with them.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Right, let's go urry up, get it out, let's do it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna say, if there's no saliva involved,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and there's no sex involved.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I just want to know, like I'm not that great
- 4:38Speaker 2: at a hand job. I don't don't know had it
- 4:42Speaker 2: been made. That sounds like a lot of friction that
- 4:44Speaker 2: I just don't need.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Okay, well, at least I'm not alone in this, thank
- 4:51Speaker 1: you so much. But it was something that was really
- 4:53Speaker 1: plaguing me this morning, and I bet I was like,
- 4:56Speaker 1: this is a lot to take in for me. Okay, well,
- 5:03Speaker 1: now we'll just get right in a quick transition over
- 5:07Speaker 1: back to business. Back to business. No more funny talk,
- 5:10Speaker 1: no more fans jobs. That's it boring, inappropriate from here
- 5:14Speaker 1: on out. Yeah, that's also when recovering these two gems
- 5:18Speaker 1: in a show.
- 5:21Speaker 2: The headlines for.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Vander Pump Rules and The Valley are coming in hot.
- 5:27Speaker 1: This first one is Instagram user at Steph with adids
- 5:33Speaker 1: shares a clip of Lala and Sena defending Ariana two
- 5:37Speaker 1: months before filming season eleven. Lala and she and I
- 5:40Speaker 1: are talking on a podcast defending Ariana's choice to not
- 5:43Speaker 1: associate with friends of Tom Sandval. Lala's quoted saying Ariana
- 5:47Speaker 1: is in this situation saying if you choose to hang
- 5:49Speaker 1: out with Sandoval, you can't be around me. It's not
- 5:52Speaker 1: really saying you can and don't do this. It's just
- 5:55Speaker 1: saying if you choose wrong, you're not around me. It's
- 5:58Speaker 1: very simple. Then Shina goes on to say, and she
- 6:01Speaker 1: has every right to feel that way and to expect
- 6:03Speaker 1: that from her friends. That's not too much to ask.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Lalla concludes, There'll come to a point where something happens
- 6:10Speaker 1: and you look at the group around you and say
- 6:11Speaker 1: it's either A or B, and if you ain't picking
- 6:14Speaker 1: the letter, I want you to then get away from me.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So the interesting part about this is that's not actually
- 6:19Speaker 2: what happened to.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You know, two months later when they started filming, you
- 6:24Speaker 1: can see y'all, Laala and Sena are having a change
- 6:28Speaker 1: of heart, which I got into last week with Carlos,
- 6:31Speaker 1: not to you know, rub it in your face that
- 6:33Speaker 1: it wasn't with you. I was actually kind of against
- 6:39Speaker 1: this because it's kind of how I feel when housewives
- 6:42Speaker 1: say they refuse to film with somebody else.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You mean you're against that, thinking two months before filming
- 6:48Speaker 2: that they were saying they were okay with a choice,
- 6:50Speaker 2: like if Arianna makes a line in the sand, they're
- 6:53Speaker 2: okay with that. That's the part you disagree with or
- 6:55Speaker 2: you agree with.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I disagree with thinking that you can control the casting
- 7:00Speaker 1: of a television show.
- 7:01Speaker 2: And if they're all there.
- 7:02Speaker 1: To do a job, it's not up to them to
- 7:05Speaker 1: do the icing out and the whatnot, like that's up
- 7:08Speaker 1: to production. Like if production wants Tom Sandoval gone or
- 7:11Speaker 1: makes the choice to have Ariana film everything separate, that's
- 7:17Speaker 1: on them. It's not up to Sena and la LA's
- 7:20Speaker 1: loyalty to Ariana.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Don't you think it has to do with social media
- 7:24Speaker 2: presence and pressure too? As far as their feelings two
- 7:28Speaker 2: months before filming, I mean, clearly everyone was team Ariana,
- 7:32Speaker 2: So don't you think that them saying that two months
- 7:35Speaker 2: before filming was just also playing to social media mob? Yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 2: and not wanting.
- 7:41Speaker 1: To And maybe at this point they hadn't come to
- 7:44Speaker 1: a decision with who's coming back, who's not right?
- 7:49Speaker 2: So yeah, it could be social media.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And also according to what we're watching, Laala is going
- 7:55Speaker 1: through a lot where she doesn't want to live, angry
- 7:57Speaker 1: or upset, so who knows by well.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Also, before you start filming, I think it's very easy
- 8:03Speaker 2: to be very linear in your thinking, right, you can
- 8:06Speaker 2: be very much like well, I just won't hang out
- 8:08Speaker 2: with him, Well, I'll just be friends with her, And
- 8:10Speaker 2: then it's very simple to say. But then once you
- 8:12Speaker 2: start filming and you spend time with someone and you're
- 8:15Speaker 2: putting different situations, and you know, even with housewives when
- 8:18Speaker 2: they it's like going into it, you know, thinking you're
- 8:21Speaker 2: going to be friends with this person, and you don't
- 8:23Speaker 2: like this person, and then a month in, you're you
- 8:26Speaker 2: hate the person you thought you were going to be
- 8:27Speaker 2: friends with, and now you're hanging out with the other
- 8:30Speaker 2: person that you never thought you would talk to. So
- 8:32Speaker 2: I think that's it's the same thing. It's like you
- 8:34Speaker 2: can't control what actually happens once the filming starts and
- 8:38Speaker 2: how people feel.
- 8:39Speaker 1: That being said, this was not a good episode for
- 8:42Speaker 1: Tom Sanamal in any stretch, just being a.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Mens I know, every time I start to feel badly
- 8:49Speaker 2: for him and I kind of like it, I'm like, oh,
- 8:51Speaker 2: I kind of like Tom, And then I watched the
- 8:53Speaker 2: next episode, I'm like, damn it, Tom.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Like like learn how to just I mean, I guess
- 8:59Speaker 1: I don't. I have a hard time learning this too,
- 9:01Speaker 1: but like learn how to be a little bit more likable.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Just learn that's it. Just likability. That's all likability. Likability.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Well, speaking of likability, this next one is about Joe.
- 9:16Speaker 2: She's different.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Well, you know what's different is that everyone comparing her
- 9:21Speaker 1: to me?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Do you get compared to Joe? Yes, everyone's saying this.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Well I mentioned it last week, but I just kind
- 9:30Speaker 1: of because I had a feeling it was coming, because
- 9:32Speaker 1: there's something about our bone structure that I was like, Oh,
- 9:35Speaker 1: people are going to give it to me. Now there's
- 9:37Speaker 1: eighty two memes like this would be John Mellencamp's daughter
- 9:41Speaker 1: if she wasn't John Mellencamp's daughter.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I actually can see that. I'm actually going to go
- 9:49Speaker 2: with that. I agree with that. What do you what
- 9:51Speaker 2: do you mean? Do I told you the story about
- 9:55Speaker 2: my true.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I can't the turtle story. She really wanted to get
- 10:02Speaker 1: that story out there. I was like, it's not a
- 10:04Speaker 1: good one.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. She was proud of the turtle story. Man,
- 10:09Speaker 2: So if your turtle's on a leash, why couldn't you
- 10:11Speaker 2: just pull him out? Because because he has no neck,
- 10:15Speaker 2: it clearly slipped off when he fell. She incapitated a
- 10:21Speaker 2: turtle retally, But the turtle is dead, and that's why
- 10:25Speaker 2: it ended that way. The turtle's no longer in its shell.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It's just like yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But she shares her feelings about Tom Schortz and an
- 10:35Speaker 1: Instagram post, Joe wrote, been wanting to say this for
- 10:38Speaker 1: a while and give me grace on how I say it.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Anytime somebody says give me grace, I means you're not
- 10:44Speaker 1: going to give him.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Grace You're getting as soon as they ask word, I'm like,
- 10:49Speaker 2: hell no, I'll make my own choices on who I'm
- 10:51Speaker 2: going to give grace. Absolutely not.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Everything about this human makes me happy. Have you ever
- 10:58Speaker 1: found a human that just it's you? That's Tom, that's me.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Tom Schwartz deserves the world, and so do I. Maybe
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm not the girl for him, but I get it.
- 11:08Speaker 1: He is a really good example of someone living in
- 11:10Speaker 1: the moment always and so am. I find a person
- 11:13Speaker 1: who can make you laugh all the time, that's Tom Schwartz.
- 11:17Speaker 1: T Also, why does it say tea with like the
- 11:20Speaker 1: dollar bill signed? Did she call him like T money?
- 11:22Speaker 2: I know I was gonna say, I guess T money.
- 11:25Speaker 2: T money has the best laugh smile Oh well, T money, yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 2: T money.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, so T money has the best laughs. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: want you to call me that from now on, T Money.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I know, I was thinking you could be Tea Money money.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I mean, you are Tom Mellencamp's daughter, so you do
- 11:41Speaker 2: deserve T money more than Tom Schwartz.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, he has the best laugh, best smile, and
- 11:48Speaker 1: people should really know how kind he is. I'll love
- 11:50Speaker 1: him forever. I'm like, listen, Joe, you're not doing Tom
- 11:53Speaker 1: any favors by writing him a complimentary post and it's
- 11:57Speaker 1: an open love letter.
- 12:01Speaker 2: But yeah, we'll get more into that later. But I
- 12:04Speaker 2: really rarely what I want to see is his reaction
- 12:07Speaker 2: to reading it. Like I picture him like being totally
- 12:10Speaker 2: embarrassed by it, you know, like with the hand and
- 12:12Speaker 2: the hair, and like not knowing what to say and
- 12:15Speaker 2: how to respond to that. He's probably like, could you
- 12:17Speaker 2: just take that down? Why did you do that? Well,
- 12:19Speaker 2: I'm actually worried he's in love with her, you think.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he if other people were there to
- 12:28Speaker 1: judge the situation, I feel like he's legitimately into her.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, he is slightly odd, so it makes sense
- 12:39Speaker 2: to me. I get it. Every lid has its top,
- 12:43Speaker 2: is that?
- 12:43Speaker 1: What? It is?
- 12:45Speaker 2: Unclear? Every pot has its lid. I don't know how
- 12:48Speaker 2: that goes something like that, Every every lid has its top.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm not sure that actually makes sense, and you're the lawyer,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and I'm I'm.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Clearly not good at whatever those analogies. I don't know
- 13:07Speaker 2: that's a pot. Well, every land does have to have
- 13:11Speaker 2: a pot. This next one is about the Valley stuff.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Brittany Cartwright says lack of sex led to Jax Taylor
- 13:28Speaker 1: separation in this page six article. Here, we've been together
- 13:32Speaker 1: nine years and people stop appreciating you and take you
- 13:35Speaker 1: for granted after some time. That would never happen in
- 13:39Speaker 1: a marriage, Cartwright told Page six exclusively Thursday night at
- 13:43Speaker 1: the premiere party for a new show, The Valley. She continued,
- 13:46Speaker 1: so that's what I'm trying to get back, and if
- 13:48Speaker 1: it doesn't come back, then we won't get back together.
- 13:52Speaker 2: She told page six of The.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Valley Batch that she moved into an Airbnb in January
- 13:56Speaker 1: to take some.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Sweet space for herself, wait space to make a beer cheese.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Cartwright clarified, however, that a lack of intimacy was not
- 14:07Speaker 1: the only contributing factor in the split. I asked him
- 14:10Speaker 1: to do little things for little things and go to therapy.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Was one of them.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He hasn't done that yet. Then they show him leaving
- 14:16Speaker 1: training made or whatever the workout place is, and he
- 14:20Speaker 1: is now kind of backtracking on all of the things
- 14:22Speaker 1: he originally said that they were still together and whatnot.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to know what the other three are.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Well, my guests, so go to therapy, stop cheating on me,
- 14:33Speaker 1: stop sleeping with other people, stop sleeping with other people,
- 14:36Speaker 1: have sex with me, and lay off the pasta. Yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 1: pasta being the other pasta, Yeah, I get it. Not
- 14:44Speaker 1: the Rigatoni's not the literal pasta.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't know though, but.
- 14:50Speaker 1: That's just my guess. But once, once everybody has watched
- 14:55Speaker 1: the Vallee, you w'll see that this is pretty much
- 14:58Speaker 1: another toxic group because the Value stars Jesse and Michelle
- 15:01Speaker 1: Lally have also separated. A S Weekly article, said Jesse
- 15:05Speaker 1: Teas to US Weekly, there's a major storyline about our
- 15:07Speaker 1: life where I try to work on myself throughout the
- 15:10Speaker 1: entire summer to be the best version of myself, and
- 15:12Speaker 1: if the best version of myself aligned with the best
- 15:15Speaker 1: version of herself, then our marriage would make it. People
- 15:17Speaker 1: evolve if your marriage and relationship doesn't evolve with it
- 15:21Speaker 1: it will never work no matter how bad you want it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Okay, So basically he did not find the best version
- 15:26Speaker 2: of himself is what I'm going to conclude from that.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think she ever found the best version
- 15:33Speaker 1: of him, and I don't.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Think anyone has ever found the best version of him.
- 15:39Speaker 2: He annoyed me from like right from the drop when
- 15:43Speaker 2: he comes out, way more annoying than Kristin. I was like,
- 15:46Speaker 2: this is not going to be good for you. I
- 15:48Speaker 2: can't with that guy at all. Oh I know. Oh
- 15:52Speaker 2: he was hard to stomach.
- 15:54Speaker 1: But then Michelle says, Meanwhile, they filmed The Valley a
- 15:57Speaker 1: while ago. People told us, when you watch the show,
- 16:00Speaker 1: you're going to realize how you guys actually are, because
- 16:02Speaker 1: when you're in it, you don't actually know. She said
- 16:04Speaker 1: her own interview with us on Thursday. Taking a step
- 16:07Speaker 1: back and looking at myself, I'm like, Wow, it's obvious
- 16:10Speaker 1: we have some marital issues.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Okay, yes, exactly what you're going to say. The fact
- 16:14Speaker 2: that you had to take a step back and look
- 16:15Speaker 2: at it to realize you had marital issues, like.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Hello, from the very get that they didn't have one
- 16:24Speaker 1: moment where you're like, oh, these people can even tolerate
- 16:26Speaker 1: one another.
- 16:28Speaker 2: No, no, and then they've.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Worked together too. I was like, this is I don't know,
- 16:34Speaker 1: but I do like the pregnant couple. Well, I guess
- 16:36Speaker 1: he's not pregnant, but the girl's pregnant. She is my favorite,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I think on the show, like she's comedic relief.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yes, Janet, we like Janet.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Okay, now we're going to get into the vander Pump
- 16:47Speaker 1: Rules reunion seating chart, which I have to say is
- 16:50Speaker 1: slightly surprising to me. So it's Andy and Lisa Vanner
- 16:55Speaker 1: Pump at the head, so it's not just Andy at
- 16:57Speaker 1: the head and at Lista.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Put that in her contract. Must have hasaid always been
- 17:01Speaker 2: that way. I'm curious. I don't think so, but I
- 17:04Speaker 2: don't know exactly, but I just have a feeling that
- 17:06Speaker 2: she's like, let me add something to the contract. I
- 17:10Speaker 2: will sit next to Andy. She's like, since this could
- 17:13Speaker 2: potentially be the last season of FOM, I want to
- 17:17Speaker 2: sit parallel. Well, first seat.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Is Arianna and then Tom on the other side. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: fan of all. Then second seat is Katie and Shorts.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Then third seat is La, La and Sena. Fourth seat
- 17:35Speaker 1: is James James. But I'm like, where's Alie. Allie's in
- 17:40Speaker 1: it as much as anybody else. At this point, they wheeze.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Her in on one of the sides. Yeah, and they
- 17:47Speaker 2: should have put Joe across from her and then she
- 17:49Speaker 2: could read her birth chart again during the breaks.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Andy has said he loves Brock this season. Brock is
- 17:59Speaker 1: definitely doing the most, but you're you're seeing there a
- 18:01Speaker 1: couple going through it as well. You can even like
- 18:05Speaker 1: you can see Sheena like trying to control what he
- 18:07Speaker 1: says with her eyes and he's just not having it,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and she's said, don't expose all right, right.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah. I appreciate him though, because I think he says
- 18:20Speaker 2: intelligent things and I think he's he's kind of the
- 18:22Speaker 2: voice of reason that you need, like La La is too,
- 18:25Speaker 2: and so is Brock. But but I like them because
- 18:29Speaker 2: to me, they remind me of a real couple. You
- 18:31Speaker 2: know how we were talking about Jesse and Michelle and
- 18:33Speaker 2: you could never see and it's only been one episode,
- 18:37Speaker 2: but you can't see anything between them that would show
- 18:39Speaker 2: that they're an actual real marriage. But you can with
- 18:43Speaker 2: Sheena and Brock, Like you're right, it's him wanting to
- 18:46Speaker 2: talk about things and her giving him the evil eye,
- 18:49Speaker 2: So which is real? I can say it's the side
- 18:53Speaker 2: eye all the time.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Now I am constantly like, shut your pile. And the
- 18:57Speaker 1: fact that Edwin and Eddie have a podcast now that
- 19:00Speaker 1: I can't micro manage everything he says is exhausting enough.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And then he's like, did you listen? I'm like, do
- 19:06Speaker 2: you want to stay married?
- 19:07Speaker 1: No?
- 19:07Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I think that's I think that is a good boundary
- 19:10Speaker 1: that you set. Yeah, Like, I don't need to know.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I don't need to know what you said. It's I'm
- 19:14Speaker 1: already embarrassed for whatever it is that it could potentially
- 19:17Speaker 1: have been said.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I don't need to hear it. And I've heard all
- 19:21Speaker 2: your stories, all right, all right, nothing new, nothing new here.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I doubt you came up with something original. Just kidding, honey,
- 19:30Speaker 2: if you could hear me.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But you can't listen to the ads wherever you listen
- 19:34Speaker 1: to podcasts. But then, according to an anonymous source to
- 19:39Speaker 1: Bravo and Cocktails, the reunion was boring until the end,
- 19:42Speaker 1: when Ariana went off on Lalla in a friendship ending
- 19:47Speaker 1: verbal blowout. Also, Ariana's friend Logan tweeted the seating chart,
- 19:51Speaker 1: saying some of this cast won't see heaven.
- 19:55Speaker 2: That's kind of dramatics, very dramatic. I mean, what does
- 19:59Speaker 2: that say that they're so horrible they're going to hell? Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 2: I mean I guess, yeah. I mean that's very deep.
- 20:06Speaker 1: That's and Logan, I don't see you on either of
- 20:10Speaker 1: these couches, So why are you tweeting this out?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah? And why is he sending out the seating chart?
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, like all of the things, Logan, have a couple
- 20:18Speaker 1: of seats, or go serve another cocktail at sir or
- 20:21Speaker 1: that is that where he works. I don't know. He
- 20:24Speaker 1: might be her publicist. Now, It's it's hard to say.
- 20:27Speaker 1: They have, you know, a paid friend. Whatever it is.
- 20:32Speaker 1: All right, we're going to.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Take a quick break and then we'll come back and
- 20:34Speaker 2: get into Van Rules.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Season eleven, episode eight.
- 20:47Speaker 2: All right, we are back there. We're going to.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Start and I'm going to use this term loosely. Party
- 20:56Speaker 1: the pool party? Was that not the most crap?
- 21:03Speaker 2: I couldn't stop looking at it, But but I was
- 21:05Speaker 2: looking like like it was a wreck, Like like when
- 21:09Speaker 2: you drive slowly because you want to see all the cars.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Piled up and you're glad it's not you. That's actually
- 21:15Speaker 1: one of the cars piled up. That's how I felt
- 21:17Speaker 1: about that poll party, Like, I was like, thank God
- 21:19Speaker 1: I wasn't there.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Did he get people to come to that party from
- 21:22Speaker 2: a Craigslist ad? Because I feel like that's where the
- 21:28Speaker 2: party goers came from. Even Shortz was like, I'm out
- 21:32Speaker 2: of here. I'm not comfortable with any of the people here,
- 21:36Speaker 2: and what's happening The central casting.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Here has been a little bit And then I'm like,
- 21:41Speaker 1: you're trying to make Arianna jealous with some of these ladies.
- 21:44Speaker 2: This ain't the way, No, no, And then the two
- 21:48Speaker 2: girls that came late, and he was just like in
- 21:50Speaker 2: the pool talking to them. Do you think I was
- 21:53Speaker 2: trying to figure out did they just keep showing their
- 21:56Speaker 2: awkward faces on a loop or were they really just
- 21:59Speaker 2: making that many awkward faces the whole time he was talking?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Did they not sign did they sign a release to
- 22:06Speaker 1: show their faces but not their voices? Because I don't
- 22:09Speaker 1: think I ever heard an audible noise come out of them.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Right, That's why I was like, did do Bravo just
- 22:15Speaker 2: did they just show the same five second loop that
- 22:18Speaker 2: they just keep showing or was it really that awkward?
- 22:22Speaker 2: But also could they not just give them like a
- 22:24Speaker 2: courtesy laugh, like yeah, you know, and don't pretend you
- 22:31Speaker 2: don't know.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Even like somebody that doesn't have social media lives under
- 22:37Speaker 1: a rock. They probably heard of scandaal So don't act
- 22:39Speaker 1: like you don't know who is rooted.
- 22:41Speaker 2: He's like I was in a relationship, you know, ten
- 22:45Speaker 2: years and they were just like dead, like dead dead
- 22:47Speaker 2: dead faces dead.
- 22:51Speaker 1: They're like, we need another shot before this continues on.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Then we get into the Katie and La La lunch
- 23:00Speaker 1: and there's obvious tension after.
- 23:02Speaker 2: The birth chart. I love all these different parties, the
- 23:05Speaker 2: birth chart, party, birth chart. You know, I was thinking
- 23:08Speaker 2: that we should DM Ali and ask her to do
- 23:10Speaker 2: our birth chart. Oh yeah, why don't we? Because I
- 23:13Speaker 2: feel like Pluto's definitely in the first house when it
- 23:16Speaker 2: comes to me, I was like, I definitely the Pluto's
- 23:19Speaker 2: in the first house on my chart.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You know what, I don't know that we could get in.
- 23:24Speaker 1: She's probably like two booked up now. Between that and
- 23:27Speaker 1: then I also saw like a clip of her with
- 23:30Speaker 1: a guitar with like Shena and Sheena's sister in the
- 23:33Speaker 1: music video, like Ali's gonna blow up's she's two books.
- 23:38Speaker 2: She's booked and busy, but maybe she can come for
- 23:40Speaker 2: one popping off chart read. Maybe she could move us
- 23:43Speaker 2: to the front of the line. But I do appreciate
- 23:47Speaker 2: that Katie and.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Lala show us all how reality shows are supposed to work,
- 23:52Speaker 1: conflict then resolution.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Yes, I appreciated that. Yeah, I did too.
- 23:57Speaker 1: They were able to say that they were sorry, they
- 24:00Speaker 1: talked through their thing.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It was nice and quick. We didn't need to rehash.
- 24:05Speaker 1: We both know what they were doing originally, so let's
- 24:07Speaker 1: just keep it moving. Yeah, then we get back to
- 24:10Speaker 1: the party.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Because we have to show more of it because it's
- 24:14Speaker 2: so cringey. They're like, so more of that party.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It includes a lot of liquor or liquorless liquor, which
- 24:22Speaker 1: it sounds really fun, and a topless girl in the pool,
- 24:25Speaker 1: which I'm like, what.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Time of day is? How drunk could you be already?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Like they just got here, and then shorts leaving and then.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's it's just all in all. Billy
- 24:42Speaker 2: Lee is like, did you meet my girl Tea?
- 24:45Speaker 1: And then they panted Tea, which we already know at
- 24:47Speaker 1: some point he's hooking up with Tea because we see
- 24:49Speaker 1: him in Tea, like holding hands and paparazzi before the season.
- 24:54Speaker 1: But then I'm like, he's not even into tea originally
- 24:56Speaker 1: because he's brought over these two random chicks he met
- 24:58Speaker 1: at shorts and sand like this is or on Craigslist
- 25:02Speaker 1: or on Craigslist or Central Casting, and they got their
- 25:07Speaker 1: taffedeartly for today's episode.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I did enjoy his cringy toast here's to staying positive
- 25:13Speaker 2: and testing negative. I was like, oh, good ones good one,
- 25:16Speaker 2: Tom good one good.
- 25:17Speaker 1: One off class for that one. But the morning after
- 25:22Speaker 1: the pool party, once again we feel bad for Anne.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yes, we do feel bad for Anne. I can't imagine
- 25:29Speaker 2: how disgusting. I mean, that house looked disgusting on films,
- 25:32Speaker 2: so can you imagine what it really looked like?
- 25:34Speaker 1: I mean, but Ariana walks out pissed at the side
- 25:38Speaker 1: of the mess. But then I'm like, that's kind of
- 25:40Speaker 1: ironic considering her bedroom.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Considering she's a hoarder. It's like.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Before, at least the you know, when the bedrooms were
- 25:53Speaker 1: a mess, Like at least the common area was clean.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It's just all of it's giving me my OC for
- 26:00Speaker 1: its money. And then when he's on the treadmill and
- 26:04Speaker 1: A's like, I'm working on cleaning it up, and he's like, great, well,
- 26:07Speaker 1: let's let's get to it.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Then, like, couldn't even at least pretend to help for
- 26:12Speaker 2: a minute. No, he is getting in shape, he's working
- 26:16Speaker 2: out with his headband. It's important things to do. He's like,
- 26:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm walking on an incline. Yes, and I'm
- 26:25Speaker 2: going to journal. I do not have time for this.
- 26:28Speaker 1: And and I listen, I am paying you minimum wage
- 26:33Speaker 1: right now.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Should be really excited. All said, ship ship what is it?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Shipp tip chip ship tip chip shape, tiptop shape, tiptop shape.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I And then and as Ann's cleaning up, I'm sitting
- 26:50Speaker 1: there thinking like she's visualizing of murdering Sandoval.
- 26:55Speaker 2: And who wants to murder him more? Ari Honor and
- 26:58Speaker 2: like these are the things that go through my mind.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And as I'm watching it, and it's really a toss
- 27:02Speaker 1: up which one despises them more, which would make the
- 27:06Speaker 1: rumor of and potentially working for Ariana feel more accurate,
- 27:12Speaker 1: especially after the leftover food. Then of course Ann has
- 27:16Speaker 1: to get involved to let.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Let Tom know that so and so is going to
- 27:22Speaker 2: be at the house, Like there's.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, but first, Ariana has Shena over because
- 27:28Speaker 1: she's heard from multiple sources that Gina's upset with her.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm going to tell you what these multiple
- 27:34Speaker 1: sources are. It's a it's a two word name, Lisa
- 27:38Speaker 1: vander Pump. Oh, that's yes, it's Lisa vander Pump.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. But Arion's quite nice to Sena in the scene,
- 27:48Speaker 2: but in the confessional, she's like, what does she want
- 27:51Speaker 2: me to do? Break my nda and tell her? Yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 2: I don't know, I can't. I can't with say Ariana,
- 27:58Speaker 2: Ariana whatever. She just she rubs me the wrong way.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I think it's because I haven't yet to see like
- 28:08Speaker 1: any sort of like lap like lighter side to her. Yeah,
- 28:12Speaker 1: maybe because she is on the defense, or maybe because
- 28:15Speaker 1: she is heartbroken. But like even in the past when
- 28:18Speaker 1: I have watched, she's just seems pissed all the time.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't know. I have a
- 28:29Speaker 2: hard time with her. I just every time I watch her,
- 28:31Speaker 2: I just want to yell, let it go, like, just
- 28:34Speaker 2: let it go, move on like him anyway. You clearly
- 28:38Speaker 2: were done with him anyway.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But I'm curious at this point if Bravo was like, Hey, ABC,
- 28:44Speaker 1: if you hire. If you hire Ariana, Shena promises to
- 28:48Speaker 1: bring up Dancing with the Stars.
- 28:50Speaker 2: As I now think this is product placement for Dancing
- 28:57Speaker 2: with the Stars. Well, I feel like now if I
- 29:00Speaker 2: was a producer on Dancing with the Stars, I would
- 29:02Speaker 2: never hire her because she's brought it up so many times.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I would be like, hell, no, it's not happening now,
- 29:07Speaker 2: do you know what I mean? Because I'm that kind
- 29:09Speaker 2: of girl, Like I'm the kind of girl that would
- 29:11Speaker 2: just be like.
- 29:12Speaker 1: No, Also like play a little hard to get, Like
- 29:16Speaker 1: now we know you've already signed up for dance classes, Like.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I haven't even done that yet. I'm believing like Dancing
- 29:21Speaker 2: with the Stars call a girl. I promise not to
- 29:24Speaker 2: tell Emily. Oh my gosh, I would be so pissed.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I've been wanting Dancing with the Stars for years. I
- 29:30Speaker 2: had my hip replace. I am a better candidate. I
- 29:33Speaker 2: have a story. Then we get to Shorts and Joe
- 29:40Speaker 2: hanging again.
- 29:41Speaker 1: This time they're peddling in a swan talking about turtles
- 29:48Speaker 1: and his confessional. Short says he could probably marry Joe
- 29:52Speaker 1: right now and be happy, but he doesn't run a
- 29:54Speaker 1: relationship so soon after his divorce with Katie. Do you
- 29:57Speaker 1: think he's still in love with Katie? No, I don't
- 30:01Speaker 1: really think so.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I think you're right what you said earlier when he
- 30:04Speaker 2: says he could marry her right now, but he doesn't
- 30:06Speaker 2: want to, I don't. I think it's because he doesn't
- 30:08Speaker 2: want to because everyone else thinks she's a quirky weirdo.
- 30:14Speaker 2: That's really what it is. So he just changed quirky
- 30:17Speaker 2: weirdo to I don't want a relationship. So soon after
- 30:21Speaker 2: my divorce, he's.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Like, I need to wait till I'm no longer on
- 30:24Speaker 1: this show, and I can just hang out with my
- 30:26Speaker 1: pal that would then be my wife, and we can
- 30:28Speaker 1: do weird things together and right without the judgment. Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 1: And then the entire friend group goes out, including Sandoval
- 30:40Speaker 1: and Ariana in the same room.
- 30:43Speaker 2: That felt casual, easy going. Do you think that he
- 30:48Speaker 2: had no idea that she was going to show up
- 30:50Speaker 2: or do you think they both know they would be
- 30:51Speaker 2: there at the same time. I don't think they had
- 30:53Speaker 2: any idea.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I think it was like an all cast event, where like,
- 30:56Speaker 1: if I'm just making up, if Tamraa wasn't going to
- 30:59Speaker 1: show up, they would be like guess what, Emily Tamra's
- 31:02Speaker 1: not coming because she's mad at you, Like they wouldn't
- 31:05Speaker 1: necessarily tell you.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Right, So you're saying you think it was just an
- 31:07Speaker 2: open invitation for all of the casts and they didn't
- 31:09Speaker 2: know who was actually going to be there. Correct. I
- 31:12Speaker 2: don't think they're like on a group text, like in
- 31:15Speaker 2: be there at six thirty. Yeah, that sounds.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Super awesome, guys, I can't wait, but Arianna says Now,
- 31:25Speaker 1: Arianna saying she isn't going to let Sandoval prevent her
- 31:27Speaker 1: from hanging out with her friends for the rest of
- 31:29Speaker 1: her life.
- 31:31Speaker 2: And at this point, I'm wondering, who are your friends
- 31:33Speaker 2: other than Katie? Yeah, exactly. Katie's like her riders diaminion
- 31:39Speaker 2: if she every face she makes when anyone talks about
- 31:43Speaker 2: Sandoval kills me. I'm like, can you move on?
- 31:46Speaker 1: Like?
- 31:46Speaker 2: Can we get past the hatred.
- 31:48Speaker 1: But also continuing to say that Sena and Arianna are
- 31:52Speaker 1: best friends. I'm sorry, I don't feel it. I don't
- 31:55Speaker 1: feel it. I'm trying to feel it. I'm trying to
- 31:57Speaker 1: get on board. I've hung out with Sheena a multitude
- 31:59Speaker 1: of times. She's always been super fun. Sena feels like
- 32:04Speaker 1: she to me, it feels like Shena is walking on
- 32:06Speaker 1: eggshells every time she's an Ariana's presence.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, I don't feel like I don't when
- 32:11Speaker 2: I watch it. I don't see a friendship there. No,
- 32:15Speaker 2: even when she even when she called her from the boat,
- 32:17Speaker 2: it was an awkward phone call, like clearly they were like,
- 32:19Speaker 2: go FaceTime, Arianna, and she did, and it was awkward
- 32:25Speaker 2: and Katie rolled her eyes the whole time she was talking.
- 32:28Speaker 2: But it didn't feel like a friendship.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I mean, I get Shena did bring Arianna on to
- 32:34Speaker 1: the show, but I think that's because she wanted to
- 32:37Speaker 1: bring in, you know, a new person that was a cheater, cheater,
- 32:40Speaker 1: pumpkin eater, because you know, Shena had already come in
- 32:42Speaker 1: as one of those, so then she was.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Like, greaty, there's another one.
- 32:47Speaker 1: The other girls didn't like Shena, so Ariana was kind
- 32:50Speaker 1: of that person for her. But at that point, Shina
- 32:53Speaker 1: was in a position of strength on the show, where
- 32:55Speaker 1: now it's reversed and I don't think the same grace
- 32:58Speaker 1: is being given to Shena from Mariana that Shina gave Marianna.
- 33:03Speaker 2: That's right, Well, Ariana just seems to me like she
- 33:05Speaker 2: has a huge ego. Every time I watch her, I
- 33:08Speaker 2: just see ego.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Well, she was very excited that Tom was checking her
- 33:11Speaker 1: out from the back, which she was, but I don't
- 33:14Speaker 1: even know if it would be considered checking her out
- 33:16Speaker 1: because he was just like.
- 33:17Speaker 2: This, Yeah, I don't think you mean, I don't think
- 33:20Speaker 2: it was like a flirtatious like, damn, she looks hot
- 33:23Speaker 2: checking her out. He was probably just trying to like
- 33:25Speaker 2: figure out where she was in his peripheral vision in
- 33:28Speaker 2: case she wanted to take a shot at him actually
- 33:31Speaker 2: with a beer bottle or something. You know, when you
- 33:36Speaker 2: like when your enemy is in the room, you want
- 33:38Speaker 2: to make sure where they are at all times.
- 33:40Speaker 1: You need to keep all hands on deck. Then Allie
- 33:44Speaker 1: tells the group that Joe I just have to laugh
- 33:47Speaker 1: every time I say Joe's name, that Joe Till asked
- 33:51Speaker 1: her if they could hang out and read her birth chart.
- 33:54Speaker 1: And then that's when Katie's like, that's giving. Katie's always
- 33:57Speaker 1: saying giving, And now I need to check myself anytime
- 34:00Speaker 1: I say giving, because I realize I do it sometimes
- 34:03Speaker 1: because my kids say it, but like.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It's giving, desperate, it's giving too much. It's getting me.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I don't say that. That's not in my vocabulary. Well
- 34:13Speaker 2: you're lucky. Yeah, But now that you said that, now
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm going to get it stuck in my vocabulary. Yeah.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And then you're gonna every time you say, you're gonna
- 34:20Speaker 1: be like, oh, well, am I saying it's giving, it's
- 34:24Speaker 1: giving despread, it's giving infiltration. Then Sena is trying to
- 34:30Speaker 1: have yet another conversation with Sandoval about taking accountability and
- 34:35Speaker 1: apologize for Katie.
- 34:36Speaker 2: How he acted after her divorce.
- 34:39Speaker 1: How did he act after her divorce? Essentially, the Toms
- 34:44Speaker 1: just aren't like if you. Toms aren't necessarily like marriage
- 34:48Speaker 1: therapists for one another. They are not going to give
- 34:50Speaker 1: you the advice you need to hear. They're going to
- 34:53Speaker 1: give you the advice you want to hear. So, no
- 34:55Speaker 1: matter how shitty they were treating their significant others, they
- 34:59Speaker 1: both were kind of there for each other.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Like they were just okay. So I don't think I
- 35:04Speaker 2: don't think that's treating someone shitty. I think that's just
- 35:07Speaker 2: being a friend to that other person.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Essentially, to Tom, Schwartz was not being the best husband,
- 35:14Speaker 1: and Tom Sandoval was making Katie the villain because of it.
- 35:17Speaker 1: But like Tom Shortz, like not only like body shamed Katie,
- 35:21Speaker 1: he would say like terrible.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Things to her on camera.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Like it was the things that he said to are
- 35:26Speaker 1: on camera really made me question that what he could
- 35:28Speaker 1: possibly be saying to her off camera, because they were
- 35:32Speaker 1: the type of things that, like if Edwin said them
- 35:34Speaker 1: to me, I would carry around that grudge for the
- 35:36Speaker 1: rest of my life.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Right And then of course, and then so Tom Sannibal
- 35:40Speaker 2: wasn't a voice of reason saying you shouldn't say things
- 35:43Speaker 2: like that.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Yeah she Yeah, No, he didn't really do anything. I mean, essentially,
- 35:52Speaker 1: he would just be like, yeah, Katie's the worst, you
- 35:54Speaker 1: deserve better that kind of situation versus like, you guys
- 35:59Speaker 1: have been together for so long, you love each other,
- 36:02Speaker 1: you can't talk to her that way, that type of thing.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Neck. But I feel like that's his men in general,
- 36:06Speaker 2: Like I don't feel like they ever say things from
- 36:09Speaker 2: a reasonable and you know, compassionate perspective. They're like, yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 2: that grows a bitch, you can do better. I guess straight, men,
- 36:17Speaker 2: you're right, I guess. I guess.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Then Katie's at Ariana and Santoval's he house helping set
- 36:26Speaker 1: up for game night.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Sandoval walks into the kitchen.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Well, first, he like at Ariana ask Katie if she's
- 36:32Speaker 1: comfortable sitting in the kitchen while she goes up to
- 36:36Speaker 1: get changed in her hoarder's room and Sandoval comes down.
- 36:41Speaker 2: He was on he was on the treadmill and.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Incline again, he was like, Pete's sakes, let's change it up.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Or he was journaling, Oh gosh, the journaling.
- 36:51Speaker 1: He tries to apologize for his behavior during Katie and
- 36:54Speaker 1: shorts divorce. Oh, we forgot sorry, we got sidetracked when
- 37:00Speaker 1: Shena was talking to Shorts accountabit. Yeah, then he stormed out.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when he was really I'm like, okay, but
- 37:08Speaker 2: can I just say this is probably maybe an unpopular opinion,
- 37:12Speaker 2: but I actually felt badly for him in that situation
- 37:17Speaker 2: because here they all are out at a bar, hanging
- 37:19Speaker 2: out in a group, and again someone's telling him that
- 37:22Speaker 2: he needs to apologize and take accountability. Again. It's like
- 37:26Speaker 2: it's like every situation he's in, is he just he
- 37:29Speaker 2: has to apologize every time he's around someone? Is that
- 37:32Speaker 2: the standard? I mean?
- 37:34Speaker 1: And also, does Sheena really think that if he apologizes
- 37:37Speaker 1: Katie's going to be like.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Great, let's move on out, Let's bury the hatchet. I
- 37:43Speaker 2: feel good about our friendship. Now. No apologizing is going
- 37:47Speaker 2: to do nothing. Clearly, this is it is what it is.
- 37:51Speaker 1: But he does come down the next day or whatever
- 37:54Speaker 1: it is to apologize.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Katie isn't having it all right.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Then Schortz comes over to the house and Sandoval has
- 38:05Speaker 1: a breakdown about his situation with Rachel.
- 38:09Speaker 2: He pulls out pictures of them where they like blur
- 38:11Speaker 2: out her.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Faith right reminiscens of the good times.
- 38:16Speaker 2: But then he goes the closet seeing killed me, Like
- 38:19Speaker 2: was that I was watching that? And I'm like, okay,
- 38:22Speaker 2: I feel like that was for effect, Like was this
- 38:25Speaker 2: situation that dramatic that he had to go in his
- 38:27Speaker 2: closet and like put his.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Arm on the shelf, and like, I think he was
- 38:31Speaker 1: trying to muster up the tears. Right, He's in there
- 38:34Speaker 1: like punching himself. He's like really hard. But then he
- 38:40Speaker 1: compares himself to Scott Peterson, who allegedly murdered his wife.
- 38:44Speaker 1: But this is my this is a really important question.
- 38:47Speaker 2: He was convicted of murdering his wife and his unborn child,
- 38:50Speaker 2: so I guess we don't even have to say allegedly.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Oh that's true.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I only said allegedly because that's what Short said, I think.
- 38:58Speaker 1: But very important question. Did Scott Peterson put on foundation
- 39:02Speaker 1: and cover up before going out in the evening? Did
- 39:05Speaker 1: you see Tom putting it on?
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah? I did. It was like he was doing, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 2: like the concealer under the eyes. I was like, oh,
- 39:13Speaker 2: this gets better and better.
- 39:16Speaker 1: It was like not even scoff Peterson a convicted murder,
- 39:20Speaker 1: which is such a thing.
- 39:22Speaker 2: No, I mean he I feel like Scott Peterson will
- 39:24Speaker 2: leave it at the white nail polish and then be
- 39:26Speaker 2: like I can't concealers too much. I can do a
- 39:30Speaker 2: white nail polish, but I can't go with the concealer.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Oh maybe Tom has a partnership with a man's makeup line.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Oh he did Tom had? Oh maybe this is it.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Maybe he's still white labeled with them.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I don't know. The keyword has had. Yeah, I think
- 39:47Speaker 2: had is going to be all the things.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Then the whole group comes over for game night, they
- 39:52Speaker 1: play never have I Ever and brought confesses to being
- 39:55Speaker 1: in an orgy which she not also took a part
- 39:58Speaker 1: in which apparently.
- 40:00Speaker 2: No, this is separate. This didn't Their orgies did not
- 40:04Speaker 2: happen at the same time. I see you. I thought
- 40:07Speaker 2: they were separate orgies too. There's some in our.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Rundown it says it was one orgy, but it wasn't.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Well the orgy that Sina is talking about. When she essentially.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Throws John Mary, I mean seriously, I guess my body
- 40:24Speaker 2: in the Wonderland and I guess my body. I mean seriously.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I was like, wow, you really buried the co Yeah,
- 40:33Speaker 2: that was that was very swift. No one's going to
- 40:36Speaker 2: get it. Yeah, like it was.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I was like, oh, sorry, John Mayer, all the karma
- 40:42Speaker 1: from the things that you legedly did to Jessica Simpson
- 40:45Speaker 1: and Tayler's swift or I'll coming back to haunt you
- 40:50Speaker 1: on vander Pavlo.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Sina just called you out. Shina just called you up. Then,
- 40:54Speaker 2: I'm like, I hope you didn't.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Send that video to anyone, Shena, You'll also be in trouble, okay.
- 41:00Speaker 2: But but she made it like she wasn't a part
- 41:03Speaker 2: of the orgy. She was watching or No, that was Brock,
- 41:05Speaker 2: that was just watching Brock. Brock was saying he was
- 41:08Speaker 2: like in a room with multiple people having sex, and
- 41:11Speaker 2: he was just in a chair in his leopard He
- 41:15Speaker 2: was hale, he was for the right. They sent you
- 41:22Speaker 2: into the orgie room first, and then they send you
- 41:25Speaker 2: into the dark closet. Now I see how it works.
- 41:28Speaker 2: And then the guys are all at Tom Tom.
- 41:32Speaker 1: While Ali's hanging out with Joe giving her birth chart reading,
- 41:36Speaker 1: Schortz is adamant that him and Joe are just friends.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Ali reads Joe's birth chart saying her and Shorts are
- 41:42Speaker 1: only meant to be friends.
- 41:43Speaker 2: You can see that Joe is not happy with this.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Her face is like she's very bummed.
- 41:53Speaker 1: And then the guys are reliving their glory days when
- 41:57Speaker 1: Jack Taylor joins them.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Jacks, it was a lot. It was. I did find
- 42:04Speaker 2: it entertaining though. He is like there is no filter.
- 42:08Speaker 2: He's just like, you look like you're fifty. What's with
- 42:11Speaker 2: the nail polish? Are you going to die soon? I mean,
- 42:14Speaker 2: like the guy and you know, this is what happened.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Jack's before going went online and he like went on
- 42:19Speaker 1: Reddit and he's like, what has everybody said?
- 42:22Speaker 2: Exact? Tom? I'm going to say, just give me, just
- 42:25Speaker 2: give me five bullet points. So I can just hit
- 42:27Speaker 2: him hard as soon as I sit down. Bam, bam, bam.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I'm going to show people that I am a change man,
- 42:33Speaker 1: so that then they can read the same time that
- 42:35Speaker 1: this comes.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Out that significant because changed because my penis cannot be
- 42:44Speaker 3: controlled or it's too controlled when it's with my wife.
- 42:49Speaker 1: And then but he I kind of thought it was
- 42:53Speaker 1: a little bit bizarre that there wasn't like a moment
- 42:56Speaker 1: of niceness.
- 42:57Speaker 2: It was just immediately like on the attack. What did
- 43:00Speaker 2: he do to you? Jacks Like, yeah, it was a lot.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I mean, I still found it entertaining though.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But then Sandoval is like he feels like Jack has
- 43:10Speaker 1: always been jealous, which then they took us down memory lane.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Jax compares Sandoval to the person he was seven years ago.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Because he's so evolved now. He's a very distinguished gentleman now,
- 43:25Speaker 2: as you'll see when you tune into the premiere that yes,
- 43:29Speaker 2: very mature.
- 43:30Speaker 1: But also why it's like Jack's like a method actor,
- 43:33Speaker 1: because I kept thinking he's reminding me of Vince Vaughan
- 43:37Speaker 1: from a movie, Like I can't even remember what movie
- 43:39Speaker 1: it was, like maybe it was Swingers or something, but
- 43:41Speaker 1: it was just.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Like old school or something something. I was just like
- 43:45Speaker 2: watching and I was like, what is happening here?
- 43:49Speaker 1: But to point out in season six, when Arianna and
- 43:53Speaker 1: La La exposed Jack's cheating to Brittany, Sandoval actually took
- 43:58Speaker 1: Jax's side, So the fact that Jax can't do the
- 44:04Speaker 1: same is also like Jack's how badly do you want attention?
- 44:09Speaker 2: Well, he probably doesn't even remember that he took his side.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I feel like he's the epitome of just tunnel vision
- 44:16Speaker 2: and narcissism.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Well, that seems like the theme here for the men
- 44:20Speaker 1: are fantom roles in the valley.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Except for Rock. I feel like Brock's a little self aware.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I I can't tell. I can't tell. I think that
- 44:30Speaker 2: he has the most potential to have some self awareness.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I think I think Brock is a little pent up
- 44:36Speaker 1: because he's like, I don't want to be the babysitter anymore.
- 44:39Speaker 1: I don't want I need to be making some money here.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I feel under your thumb. I think any man when
- 44:45Speaker 1: they don't, when they're not creating their own income and
- 44:48Speaker 1: they're at somebody else's like, you know, it's all about
- 44:53Speaker 1: Sheena's schedule, Sheena's life whatever.
- 44:55Speaker 2: In Rock's just there. I think he's just.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Hit his breaking point with that. But I mean Brock
- 45:02Speaker 1: does have issues. I mean his previous season was about
- 45:05Speaker 1: him not caring or paying for his other children.
- 45:07Speaker 2: So oh yeah, well that's pretty shitty, Brock. Brock, Jeez,
- 45:12Speaker 2: you're getting a box. Get your shit together, Brock.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Like maybe instead of paying a babysitter for summer moon,
- 45:20Speaker 1: you could pay for your other kids.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Like no child support for his other children. I don't
- 45:25Speaker 2: think so. Oh damn it, Brock. Just when I give
- 45:28Speaker 2: somebody props and I find.
- 45:30Speaker 1: That out, well that's why I bury it to the end,
- 45:33Speaker 1: so you can step in the mud and then I
- 45:35Speaker 1: can dig you out slowly.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Damn it. But yeah, that is the.

- 46:40Speaker 1: are recapping the Valley, so here we go.
- 46:44Speaker 2: All right, let's see, We're on episode one. We're introduced
- 46:48Speaker 2: to the Valley casts, which includes Vander Pop, Rolls Alum's
- 46:50Speaker 2: Jack Saylor, Britney Cartwright, and Kristin Doty. Kristen's boyfriend Luke,
- 46:56Speaker 2: who goes by Luke Colorado, is also on the cast,
- 46:59Speaker 2: as well as some other couples including Danny and Nia,
- 47:02Speaker 2: Jesse and Michelle, Jason and Janet. Joining the series as
- 47:07Speaker 2: friends are Jasmine and Zach. So who is your favorite
- 47:10Speaker 2: couple so far? Oh? Definitely Jason and Janet. Yes, I agree?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Who would I want to be friends with and hang
- 47:18Speaker 1: out with. Definitely Jason and Janet. I think Jesse and Michelle.
- 47:23Speaker 1: It's just going to be one of those situations where
- 47:25Speaker 1: it's going to be hard to watch. Oh he's so cringey,
- 47:29Speaker 1: he's so he's the worst, and then oh cringey Danny
- 47:34Speaker 1: and Nia. I actually know in real life that's how
- 47:37Speaker 1: Jax Taylor met them because Jack and bo and Danny
- 47:43Speaker 1: all went to a RAMS game with Edwin and that's
- 47:46Speaker 1: how Jackson Danny became friends.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Look at you, You're like, what is it? Seven degrees
- 47:51Speaker 2: of separation from the valley. You know, all these shows
- 47:54Speaker 2: and you're always connected, but you're just never on him.
- 47:56Speaker 2: That's what I was gonna say.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I am the queen and getting other people on television
- 48:01Speaker 1: shows and not getting on any myself.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Yes, Queen, I got it.
- 48:11Speaker 1: But the intro shows the party or turned parents showing
- 48:14Speaker 1: off their new lifestyles including tiny baby cars, mini pool
- 48:18Speaker 1: full of baby bottles, and Kristen taking out the trash.
- 48:22Speaker 2: But also why do they dressed like they're in the
- 48:24Speaker 2: mid nineties. What is happening? I don't know, But why
- 48:28Speaker 2: is there a many pool full of baby bottles? Is
- 48:30Speaker 2: that just for looks for show.
- 48:34Speaker 1: The only thing that I do know for sure was
- 48:37Speaker 1: that they've made it very clear how hot.
- 48:39Speaker 2: It is in the valley. Yes, it's very I know
- 48:43Speaker 2: it's so hot that Jack sweats brown, That's how hot
- 48:46Speaker 2: it is. I mean, if I saw Edwin's sweating off
- 48:50Speaker 2: his spray Dan, I think it might give me the egg, right,
- 48:54Speaker 2: I'd be like, you have to go home and change.
- 48:56Speaker 2: You saw cameras down, camera's down? Sorry, can you walk
- 49:00Speaker 2: back the block? I love it, though it's so hot.
- 49:03Speaker 2: We barely made it over here.
- 49:04Speaker 1: And then they showed it's like, this is where Jack's
- 49:07Speaker 1: and Brittany live.
- 49:08Speaker 2: This is where they crossed the street. Essentially they crossed
- 49:11Speaker 2: the street.
- 49:13Speaker 1: And then okay, so we're We're in Brittany and Jackson's
- 49:16Speaker 1: house and Brittany is sporting a post surgery compression bandage
- 49:20Speaker 1: around the top of.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Her head to her chin, but she still has full makeup.
- 49:24Speaker 2: So I appreciate that. I did. I did appreciate that.
- 49:28Speaker 2: And then they go through all of the surgeries that
- 49:31Speaker 2: Jacks has had all the nose Are they just all
- 49:35Speaker 2: no surgeries?
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think he I could be making this up, but
- 49:39Speaker 1: I think he may have gotten in fights or things
- 49:41Speaker 1: happened where like his nose would if not, if he
- 49:44Speaker 1: hadn't gotten in fights, or he hadn't had some kind
- 49:47Speaker 1: of injuries to his nose. I don't know that I
- 49:50Speaker 1: would want to be the surgeon known as the friend
- 49:52Speaker 1: that performs all these surgeries when you've had to have seven,
- 49:55Speaker 1: Like if we had to get seven necklaces, because that's
- 50:01Speaker 1: a problem the first one took. I guess he got
- 50:08Speaker 1: so many because he never took the doctor's advice after
- 50:13Speaker 1: he got this.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Okay, but when you learn that after the first time,
- 50:16Speaker 2: like you have the surgery, you don't pay attention to
- 50:18Speaker 2: the doctor's orders. You have to have another surgery. Okay,
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'll give you two. But like when it gets to
- 50:23Speaker 2: be six or seven.
- 50:24Speaker 1: It's like, are at some point doesn't the doctor say, like,
- 50:28Speaker 1: I'm not giving you another surgery?
- 50:30Speaker 2: Right, Like you're fired as a client. Yeah, you're done.
- 50:33Speaker 2: You're a hazard to yourself. Yes.
- 50:36Speaker 1: But then Jax is boasting about his new lifestyle and
- 50:39Speaker 1: career that includes doing cameos.
- 50:43Speaker 2: He's like, I have like thirty two to do. It
- 50:45Speaker 2: tastes so long. What's the matter?
- 50:48Speaker 1: Can you just look up how much Jax charges for
- 50:50Speaker 1: a cameo really quick?
- 50:53Speaker 2: Do you do cameo? I do, but I've never had
- 50:57Speaker 2: thirty two in a queue to do. I don't know
- 51:00Speaker 2: if it's because his are like twenty dollars each, because
- 51:04Speaker 2: are what.
- 51:06Speaker 1: One hundred and twenty okay, so calculator one hundred and
- 51:08Speaker 1: twenty two?
- 51:09Speaker 2: Why one hundred and twenty two? He just randomly was like,
- 51:12Speaker 2: I'm just going to attack on that extra two dollars.
- 51:14Speaker 1: So he was making three thousand and nine hundred and
- 51:17Speaker 1: four dollars doing cameos. I'm like, and I only charge
- 51:21Speaker 1: ninety nine dollars and I'm not getting thirty two requests
- 51:23Speaker 1: in a day.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Our producer saying, do you really believe he got
- 51:26Speaker 2: thirty two cameos? But I don't. But you know, I
- 51:30Speaker 2: don't know. Maybe I don't know. I got like three
- 51:34Speaker 2: a week. I think I think they're just like, hey,
- 51:36Speaker 2: why don't you guys talk about what you have going on?
- 51:38Speaker 2: And He's all, I got, I've got thirty two cameos
- 51:41Speaker 2: to do.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I have cameos, I have the podcast, and then he
- 51:50Speaker 1: has he has Jax's coming out. But then they're making
- 51:54Speaker 1: making jokes about how Brittany can't give bjs why she's
- 51:58Speaker 1: in recovery when we come to find they're not intimate
- 52:01Speaker 1: at anyway. So I'm like, why are we even making
- 52:03Speaker 1: this joke? That makes it even worse?
- 52:05Speaker 2: I know, how much does that backfire on you when
- 52:08Speaker 2: all this press comes out and you're making when you're
- 52:11Speaker 2: making jokes about getting blowjobs when clearly you don't really
- 52:13Speaker 2: want a blowjob, but he's probably getting Yeah, I was
- 52:17Speaker 2: gonna say he's probably getting blowjobs. This is not from
- 52:20Speaker 2: his wife.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Yeah, because I can tell you when Edwin and I
- 52:22Speaker 1: were on our dry spell after I had slate and
- 52:25Speaker 1: things were rough on both sides, we weren't joking about sex. No,
- 52:31Speaker 1: it was not a time where we were like, how
- 52:35Speaker 1: about the blowjob later?
- 52:37Speaker 2: You know that's never going to happen. You Like, No,
- 52:40Speaker 2: there wasn't a joke. We just kind of brushed over it.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Then Kristen talks about her rocky past relationship and how
- 52:47Speaker 1: she met her new boyfriend Luke. It was right after
- 52:52Speaker 1: she was with her last guy. They met at a
- 52:54Speaker 1: wedding and ended up having sex behind a tent. I
- 52:57Speaker 1: kind of want to know how many people Riston's had
- 53:00Speaker 1: sex with.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Well, if you're listening, Kristen, please send us the number.
- 53:05Speaker 2: It's thirty two, same amount of cameos that Jash has.
- 53:11Speaker 1: That's pretty close to my number, so I'm sure hers
- 53:15Speaker 1: has got to be higher. Okay, And and your sexual partners, Emily,
- 53:20Speaker 1: do you count.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Just just that? Well, I've never just had I've never
- 53:25Speaker 2: had that happen. What it's full throat all the time,
- 53:28Speaker 2: You've never had like, no, why would that happen? Well,
- 53:33Speaker 2: it's happened in what in what scenario would just that happen? Well?
- 53:38Speaker 1: I have a scenario where I was at a club
- 53:41Speaker 1: and then I started hooking up with a guy, and
- 53:43Speaker 1: then he kept saying, can I just put the tip in?
- 53:45Speaker 2: And I see, no, I have no I have quality
- 53:50Speaker 2: guys there quality Teddy. See that's I go with quality.
- 53:54Speaker 2: You clearly are just emphasizic.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I realize why he said that, because then he was
- 53:58Speaker 1: so small that he just claimed that it was the tip,
- 54:01Speaker 1: even though it was.
- 54:02Speaker 2: The whole thing. This is party trick. It was an.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Awkward next day when I couldn't even fit in his
- 54:10Speaker 1: boxer shorts because he was so tiny and general.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Wait, he's smaller than you. At the time. Yes, it
- 54:18Speaker 2: was a lever con. You had sex with a lever
- 54:20Speaker 2: con at a club. I've always had a great taste.
- 54:25Speaker 2: But then.
- 54:28Speaker 1: We can already see that Luke's gonna have a hard
- 54:31Speaker 1: hard time with this rib or.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Luke, he just looked. His eyes are just wide. Luke
- 54:38Speaker 2: Colorado has no idea what he's gotten into. Sure, Chris,
- 54:42Speaker 2: all to La for the summer and fill the TV
- 54:45Speaker 2: show with you. Sounds like fun.
- 54:49Speaker 1: And then I'm going to be forced to get you
- 54:51Speaker 1: pregnant all the time.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Hang out with the rest of the my name.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Then we get a glimpse into Danny and Nia's life
- 55:03Speaker 1: with their three kids under two, including twin girls. Nia
- 55:06Speaker 1: was Missy was saying in twenty fourteen, and Danny is
- 55:09Speaker 1: a working actor.
- 55:13Speaker 2: I got him when they were showing pictures of him
- 55:15Speaker 2: acting when he was younger. I got him confused with
- 55:19Speaker 2: the Taylor Latner. Does he look like him? He looks
- 55:21Speaker 2: like when he was Yeah, I was like, was he
- 55:25Speaker 2: was he on t Well?
- 55:27Speaker 1: Weirdly, I was watching a Lifetime movie recently that was
- 55:31Speaker 1: It was pretty great. It was like a stalker movie
- 55:34Speaker 1: where a girl gets in a car crash and then
- 55:37Speaker 1: she has amnesia, and then the new guy shows up
- 55:39Speaker 1: and says he's the husband, but really he's not the husband.
- 55:41Speaker 1: He's a stalker. Danny was the husband. He didn't have
- 55:45Speaker 1: any speaking parts, but he was the husband. So I
- 55:48Speaker 1: had I texted Nia.
- 55:49Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my gosh, we're just so Danny and love.
- 55:53Speaker 2: He didn't talk, but he did a great job. He
- 55:56Speaker 2: did a great job of being the husband.
- 56:00Speaker 1: But you can kind of see I see some of
- 56:05Speaker 1: like Nia. You can tell like she's a very good girl.
- 56:09Speaker 1: She's very she's very pageant in the way that like
- 56:13Speaker 1: life needs to be this way, this is what I
- 56:16Speaker 1: projected for our life. And you can tell that she
- 56:19Speaker 1: lives and breeze by that. And I feel like we're
- 56:21Speaker 1: going to see that Danny is going to be pushing
- 56:23Speaker 1: the boundaries a bit.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good way to say it. She's very pageany. Yeah,
- 56:28Speaker 2: like yeah, and.
- 56:30Speaker 1: She s she's always been nothing but nice to me,
- 56:33Speaker 1: always kind, whatever. But I think there's a little bit
- 56:35Speaker 1: of like a shell, right, always performing a little bit
- 56:39Speaker 1: like Jacal kind happy smiles but really yeah, when that
- 56:45Speaker 1: other drows right, I was crazy twenty four to seven,
- 56:51Speaker 1: So it's easier for me too, so there's no hiding
- 56:55Speaker 1: my resting bitch face now. But then Jason and Janet
- 56:59Speaker 1: are next. Jane is pregnant, and Jason gives a taste
- 57:03Speaker 1: of what the experience is like by saran wrapping a
- 57:06Speaker 1: watermelon to his stomach and two giant cantalopes to his chest.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Not my favorite scene, but I do like these two.
- 57:15Speaker 2: I do too.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I thought that was a little corny, but you know whatever,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you know, they were looking for a moment.
- 57:20Speaker 2: What else are they going to do that?
- 57:21Speaker 1: They you know, they had their sparkling apple cider and
- 57:25Speaker 1: then they're like what else?
- 57:27Speaker 2: Yeah, what should we do? Now? Let's refort to you.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Then Jesse and Michelle are last couple who we now
- 57:38Speaker 1: know are separated, and it's obvious why.
- 57:40Speaker 2: It's truly obvious.
- 57:43Speaker 1: When Michelle's asked how she would describe her husband, she
- 57:46Speaker 1: actually can't think of anything, not.
- 57:49Speaker 2: One word, nothing, not a single thing. She's like a asshole bag,
- 57:55Speaker 2: like they can't mistake.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Then, apparently Jesse has never had Michelle as a screensaver
- 58:14Speaker 1: on his.
- 58:14Speaker 2: Phone, only the dog and their daughter.
- 58:18Speaker 1: He claims it's because they work together and he has
- 58:21Speaker 1: to look at her all day long.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Yeh, that's so romantic. Okay, what's Edwin's screensaver? Does he
- 58:26Speaker 2: have you?
- 58:27Speaker 1: No, it's Slate, Slate put her own and it's one
- 58:30Speaker 1: of those like three X ones where you're like, but
- 58:34Speaker 1: I don't necessarily think a screensaver is a sign of
- 58:39Speaker 1: your marriage is going to last or not last?
- 58:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I mean Shane's had Kit the car
- 58:46Speaker 2: Kit as his screensaver for like our entire marriage, so
- 58:51Speaker 2: I don't take it personally. It's been fifteen years and
- 58:54Speaker 2: it's always Kit Kit from like the League of their
- 58:59Speaker 2: Own was like, that's an intro. I mean Kits as
- 59:03Speaker 2: in the car from the eighties that David Hasselhoff drive.
- 59:09Speaker 2: It's the night writing flag and sye writer is what
- 59:12Speaker 2: I mean.
- 59:14Speaker 1: So, just watching these intros, who are you rooting for
- 59:17Speaker 1: the most?
- 59:18Speaker 2: Like rooting for Well, Jesse, Michelle. I can't even with them.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I do like Janet. I think she's funny, she gets
- 59:26Speaker 2: some good sarcastic comments in there. And I like her husband.
- 59:30Speaker 2: I think he's like the good, solid attorney husband. You know,
- 59:33Speaker 2: he reminds me of Shane, except not funny. So it's
- 59:37Speaker 2: not funny, not funny Shane look for.
- 59:40Speaker 1: The compliment there, and then they go to lunch, where
- 59:45Speaker 1: Kristen meets with her friends Zach and Jasmine.
- 59:49Speaker 2: I know I've seen these people before. I don't know
- 59:51Speaker 2: if that's being out or whatever they've been on vander.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Pump Rules or what it is, but I'm like, I
- 59:55Speaker 1: know I've seen Jasmine before. Zach was Brittany's best friend
- 59:59Speaker 1: that now is Kristen's best friend.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, for Pete's sake.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: But Kristin's talking about how she's watching all of her
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: friends getting married and having babies and she's wondering when
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it will be her time.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I personally think if somebody doesn't live like Kristin, do
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I think you really want to have a baby with
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Luke if that is name, it's Luke Colorado, Louke Colorado.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I don't know that you do.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: But I also know that if somebody is willing to
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: move to the valley for the summer, it must be
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: true love.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I honestly, how does that work? Though? He's got
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: seventy acres in Colorado and he's clearly not an LA
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: kind of guy, So what's he gonna bean? I mean,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: I don't know I'm just guessing he did so good
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: at top Golf right he was like, he was so awkward.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I felt badly for him. I was like, these guys
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: are just going to eat him alive. But yeah, I
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: don't know why. I mean, why wouldn't you want to
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: have a baby with someone who clearly lives in Colorado
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: on seventy acres and probably will only visit Layah. I
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: mean maybe it seems it seems like the perfect relationship
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: to me to have a child in Yeah, right now.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Then Brittany and Michelle at Nia's house while all the
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: guys are golfing, Luke asks Jack's if he's gonna unblock him,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: and then Jack's is like, I don't even know if
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: you're blocked, you know, like I don't even know who
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: you are? Yeah, Like do you go here? Yeah?
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: But Jack, the epitome of morals and ethics, questioning how
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: somebody chooses to live is pretty rich.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Yes, I know. It was all about Kristen and her choices.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Why does he care? I mean every every scene was
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: him like, do you guys know, did you know what
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: she's gonna do? What do you think of that? Should?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: It was? I was like, should you not focus on
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: maybe the thirty two cameos that you need to do
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: and like the.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And your wife, maybe you should some sort of that
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: passion towards getting in with your wife. Unless about Kristin
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: wanting to have a baby, Like, I get that, we're
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: going to talk about it, but truthfully, if Kristin wants to.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Have a baby with Luke from Colorado, she's you know,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: go for it. That's right, She's an adult woman. It's
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: her choice. It's her choice. Then Jacks and Brittany go
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: over to Jason's house. We see the sweating. He's like,
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: it was self tanner. I'm like, dude, you know you've
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: got a spray tan naked in your garage the night before? Please,
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: of course you did, But I don't.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I want to know what Brittany was doing the night
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: before because she has a stamp on her hand, and
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I'm like, were you at a club last night?
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Is that why y'all are sweating so much? Right?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Then we get to Janet's birthday party that Brittany's putting on,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: where they went County Fair theme.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: That was a good theme, Like, it is a good theme,
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: But I have a question. I was always told granted
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: I haven't gotten a tattoo in a.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: While, but that you're not supposed to drink alcohol when
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: getting a tattoo because it thins your blood. But they're
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: all pound in shots getting tatted up. I was like, yeah,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I just looked it up. You shouldn't drink for twenty
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: four hours before getting a tattoo either, your new tattoo
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: would be considered an open wound, and alcohol.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Delays the body's healing process. Alcohol also thins the blood,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: which can cause excess bleeding and set back the natural
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: clotting and scabbing necessary for recovery. Well, listen, this tattoo
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: artist clearly is not you know, they probably got him
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: from craigslist. They're like, whatever, come in, can I do
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: it to spring some tools. We'll set up a lawn
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: chair in the in the living room. It'll be great.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: We'll set up a facialist chair.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: And get everybody tutted, and we'll give Jesse another excuse
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: to fight with somebody else. But I do I would
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: be fine with Brittany throwing a birthday party for me.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I want all of those things actually too. I was like,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I want an Emily County Fair. I'm from Ohio. I'm
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: from Indiana, let's do it. But we'd have to like
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: have a pig competition where that's what like my cousin's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: away did. They would like raise their pigs and then
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: bring them and then have the little crops and like
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: set up the pigs. Like I didn't see any I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: would like a little petting zoo, a little petting. I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: just like the corn dogs and the funnel cakes. I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: don't like a funnel cake, but I love a corn dog.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I love a good corn dog too.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Then Lala and Sheena and Brock of course show up
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: to the party. Lala and Jacks of course talk about
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Kristen La.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Lala comments, I think she throws that puss around and
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: it shoots diamonds or something.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Let's be dazzled. She be dazzled Vagina because she's always
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: able to lock down a man. Then Jesse like, I
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: didn't get the jokes.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: That Jesse was making to Lalla calling her his mistress,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Like it wasn't he I didn't get it.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: I know. And then he's like and then he changed
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: and he was like, oh not mistress side piece, like
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: that was better. And then his wife's standing there like
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: she's likely not saying anything. I don't know. That was
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: an awkward moment. I didn't get it. I didn't think
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: it was funny. It wasn't fun I was laala. If
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: that was vander pumb rules, she would have gone off
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: on him.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: But she's like, I'm just doing this as a favor
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: to Brittany or Jack soph you don't mind, I'm just
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: going to keep this moving, right. But then Kristin and
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Jesse are waiting in line to get tattooed. Kristin pinches Jesse's.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: He pinched her boob. No, but did you realize that
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Kristin pinched his first, Yes, but then he did it back.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I feel like you can't do that.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I feel like nipple pinching shouldn't happen regardless. Like I mean,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Matt's sitting right here, our producer, and I'm not going
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: to grab his nipple any okay.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: But if for some odd reason you just went unhinged
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: and did pinch him in the nipple, but he pinched
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: you back, that's where it's like, that's where it just
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: gets really bizarre. Please don't pinch my back. They're fake.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: She gets upset clearly, and she feels like she has
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: to put up with Jesse because of how close she
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: is with Michelle.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: It's a bad.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: State of affairs that Jesse is coming off worse than Jack's.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with that, But they used some model together.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: I was like, I can't even picture these two like
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: in New York Modeling. But I'm not sure it was
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: New York Modeling. Where was it. I mean, I think they.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Use the word model loosely. I don't remember seeing them
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: on the cover of I Don't Know Men's Health. But
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: then Jack still continue to talk about Kristin trying to
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: get pregnant.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: How bad of an idea he thinks it is. This
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: time he's telling Brock.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Wallas sees the conversation happening and tries to intervene, bringing
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Sheena and Kristin with her. Kristen starts tearing up after
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: hearing Jax criticize her life and decisions. Jenns, You're I mean,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: at least Tom Sandhaul makes himself likable.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Sometimes he does occasionally, but Jax is like he's at
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: zero for a hundred, like batting zero, like even.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: When he wouldn't blow up the one like thing for
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: the dog, the corn dog yeah, the corn dog float
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: and Brendany's like racing around like and he's just like,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I need to heat.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Up my macro plate or whatever he was trying to eat.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: I was like, for the love.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: And then this is where we start to see the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: things coming unraveled. You can already tell that Nia wants
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to go home. She's done. She probably feels bad for
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: her nanny that's having to sit in the closet with
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: her kids. Why she's doing this party and they go
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: to take it. She's like, let's get a picture, and
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: or he wants to get a protray. I can't remember
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: who did. And then Jax comes down and pulls down
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: his bathing suit and shows his finger to everybody.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: It shows his dog.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Do you think she was crying because she thought it
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: was an invasion of privacy or she didn't want anybody
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: to see that it was just the tip, but it
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: was the full.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Thing, the ladder. Definitely. Definitely, She's like, now the world
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: knows you're like. Plot twist. Teddy was with Danny. I
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: get it. He was at the he's the god.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: He wasn't, guys, I never hooked up with Danny. Calm down.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: But then Neo walks out, she's, you know, starting to sob.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Okay, would you sob? If someone walked up to Edwin
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: at a pool party in polige sorts down? Would you cry?
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I wouldn't either. I would probably laugh, and then I'd
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: have to fight with Shane and apologize for laughing. That's
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: what happened. I don't think I would cry it all.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: But that's why I say she's got this pageant thing
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: where everything has to look and be a certain way,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: and that was crossing the boundary for her. But my
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: favorite part of this entire scene is Sheena's face, like, girl.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: You have absolutely idea what you signed up for. This
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: isn't my USA anymore?
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: To the Lion's den exactly, and getting his pants pulled.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Down, right. If you're crying over that, girl, girl, girl,
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: you know in danger, girl, your danger girl?
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: This is who Because Danny didn't seem to mind that much,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: but also Jack seeming confused that somebody doesn't have underwear
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: on underneath the bathing suit.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: I was like, I didn't know, I didn't know yet,
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: no underwear on.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Sometimes Cruise will wear underwear in her bathing suit, solely
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: because he's too lazy to take his underwear off, Like,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: so it's just like racing, but like, could you imagine
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: wearing a thong underneath your bikini bottom?
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: Emil Like no, that's so odd. Then it's soaking wet. Yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: and then it's caught and wet on you. No, thank you.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: And then the pisode ends with Janet dunking Jacks in
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the dunk Chink and an overview of the rest of
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the party. We get a preview of what's to come
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: this season on the Valley, showing a potentially pregnant Kristen.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: I don't think she actually is pregnant. I don't think
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: so either.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Jack's opening his new bar, Brittany holding a pregnancy test.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Maybe she's holding it for Kristin.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: But she claims her and Jackson never have sex anymore
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: because he's not attracted to her. That part makes me sad,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I know. And then Michelle blaming Kristen for ruining her marriage.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I want to know what Kristen says.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you How do you blame Kristen? I
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: don't know. From all I've seen, I think Jesse does
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: a great job ruining it at all on his own.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: He does not need any help from anyone else he's
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: got this. I just I don't know.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I mean, how do you feel, though, like, now that
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: we've watched it, do you think that like this is
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: going to be promising? Like there were parts watching this
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: where I was like this, this is taking way too long.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: This could have been thirty minutes.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think again, when there's any news show,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: it takes a while. You have to get invested in
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: the characters. And I don't know, I felt like the
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: preview of what's to come looked interesting. So I'm slightly hooked.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: So all right, I think it's a good watch. We're in.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: We're in, so we'll keep updating you guys and doing
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: recaps and yeah, we hope you enjoyed and we will
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: talk to you next week. Thanks for listening, guys,
