- 0:15SPEAKER_01: What's going on, ballers?
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: It's your boy MJ coming at you with another episode of Sports Minds.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: We appreciate you guys for tuning again.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: I'm here with my co-hosts and fellow fantasy baller, uh Joe Birdman.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: How the hell are you doing today, brother?
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Man, if it wasn't for all these injuries, I'd be doing a little bit better.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: But it was a good fantasy week.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Um, had more wins than losses, so you gotta take that.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: But yeah, man, the apocalypse has not gone away.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Injury apocalypse, it happens every year, and it seems like it's getting worse.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: It does, it really does.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: These players need to come together, players union, and request all grass, man, because that turf is really turf monsters are destroying some careers lately.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: You know, a lot of ACLs and Achilles this yeah, you know, this year alone.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: So uh you figure with all this sports medicine, they'd get better at preventing it.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I know they're running around with those big helmets on, but they're not doing anything to protect the legs, you know.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Put them in one of those big plastic balls like American Gladiators.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: That I would watch that, man.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: I would watch that too.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I love when they get those big steel cages.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: But yeah, uh, but uh anywho, let's go ahead and get into that.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: But first, a word from our sponsors.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Hey there.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: My name is Manny James Gonzalez with PRB, and I'm a real estate agent here in Central Florida.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: I'm a U.S.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Navy veteran, military relocation pro, and big supporter of 2A and veterans' rights.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: My specialty is VA transactions.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I'm also experienced in all parts of the estate.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I've been living in Florida for over 20 years, and I can tell you we still believe in freedom down here.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: One of the greatest job markets, excellent economy, and no state income tax.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: When it comes to an agent, you want one that's gonna be honest, not afraid of a fight, and most importantly, willing to do the things that some agents aren't willing to do.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: And what's that, Manny?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Two straight Dan.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: If you ever consider buying in Central Florida, you need somebody you can trust, and I got your six.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: I'm Manny James Gonzalez, find land for the free and home for the brave.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Welcome back, ballers.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Let's get into some news and notes.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Now, as you may have heard, Bengals wide receiver Jamar Chase was suspended for one game due to an incident with the Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: He's saying he did not spit on him, but the video shows otherwise.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Uh Falcons wide receiver Drake London is considered weak to week uh due to a knee injury.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: A running back Amari DiMarcado suffered a high ankle sprain and is likely out for week 12.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has a chance to play in week 12, but it is not looking good.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Although uh initial thoughts were that it's you know something that could be an IR or season ending injury, and they're saying right now it's just a contusion.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: So hopefully he's back in week 13 or 14.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And Steelers running back Jalen Warren, ankle sprain and is expected to be limited in practice week.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: So keep your eye on him, see how that pans out.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And of course, if you got him on your team, you should already have Gainwell.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: But if you don't pick him up or make a trade.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't require surgery on his left wrist, and he is pushing to play in week 12.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Texans quarterback CJ Stroud has already been ruled out for week 12.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: So I guess that concussion was worse than we than we realized.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Uh Browns quarterback Shadoo Sanders is expected to have a good chance to start in week 12 with Dylan Gabriel going through the concussion protocol, and Giants quarterback Jackson Dart is still going through the concussion protocol as well.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: So keep an eye on his status.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: A lot of a lot of concussions going on.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the and especially with quarterbacks, man, they're getting their their shit rocked.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: I know, man.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, but Jackson Dart, you know, you don't say a player is looking for it, but if he's out there running like that, taking hits all day, you know, chances are one of those guys are gonna catch you slipping, you know, and that's what happened.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: CJ Gardner Johnson caught him slipping.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Dude, I remember I think it was his first game as a starter, it might have been his second, where he literally was running towards the sideline and dove headfirst into a player.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: And I mean, it's ballsy, you kind of gotta respect that, but in the NFL, that's just not something you should be doing.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, it looked really cool and it was badass, but come on, man, we need you to stay in the game.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And of course, it did catch up with him a few weeks later.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Uh, quarterback Bryce Young will have an update on his injured ankle later in the week.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And Falcons quarterback Michael Phoenix Jr.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: was placed on the IR list and will miss the rest of the season.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: That's a knee injury.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will be evaluated as the week goes on, according to head coach Zach Taylor.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And then uh one more quarterback to discuss.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Tyrod Taylor was named as the starting quarterback for week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens over Justin Fields.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And if you didn't catch the news last week, which I'm sure you all did, uh Detroit tight end Sam Laporta was placed on IR.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: So yeah, and I did want to touch up on that Bree, you know, the Tyrod Taylor situation.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: So last week uh I did talk about sell high on Brees Hall, right?
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: So, you know, that's somebody that I wasn't too you know too fond of with the situation, but the fact that Tyrod Taylor's you know healthy, I think that that actually gives me a little bit of a uh a better result for Brees Hall.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: So for example, the end of the schedule for the Jets, they play at least four softball teams.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: You know, by softball, I mean bottom 12 and and defense against uh you know against a run.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: So I I could see him as somebody that you could definitely benefit from, but regardless, I don't want to get too deep into that.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: I'm getting sidetracked here.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: He's not on my list, by the way.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: That's the only thing.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: I was just gonna say, I'm assuming he's on your list.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, he's not.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: He's not, but you know, I do change my opinion a little bit and say that I like him a little bit more as the season progresses, you know.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and by the way, ballers, this episode, this week, and the episode we have planned for next week is a little shift in our normal, regularly scheduled programming as we are gonna go through you know Manny's top 15 running backs for the rest of the season, and then my top 15 running backs, and then next week we're gonna do wide receivers.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: So keep all of this information that we're giving you in mind for trade targets, hot matchups, and everything else, because we're gonna discuss matchups, we're gonna discuss strength of schedule and just injuries and bye weeks and things like that.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: So keep that all on top of your mind because we wanted to give this to you rather than just go over specific trade targets and hot matchups because we're running out of time in the season to make some things happen if you need to improve your team.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's more catered to what the specific needs are, right?
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: If you're in season-long fantasy, you wanna you always want to be rolling with the tide, and right now the the tide's a changing, baby, so you better make it turning, baby.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Now, without further ado, let's get into our top 15 running backs for the rest of the season.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, ballers.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: Now, we're gonna lead things off.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: I know how all these people have start off from you know, if they're doing a 15 list, they're gonna start from 15 and make sit all the way through that until you get to number one.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: But we're different, all right?
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: We're built different over here, so we're just gonna come out guns of swinging from number one because then you're gonna probably want to listen to a little bit more that what we have to say, right?
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: Instead of us having to drag you through the whole episode.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: So, number one, my number one overall player for the rest of the season happens to be Devin Achan.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, he's just been on an absolute tear.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Like Miami was a terrible team that could not play in the beginning, and then they really started finding their identity, right?
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Going through him primarily, and then obviously off of Waddle as well.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh part of the reason why I also put him at number one is because uh he has four really good, easy matchups for the rest of the season.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Um, and keep in mind he does have his bye week coming up, but it is this week.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: He's not somebody that you're gonna miss out on for the rest of the season, right?
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: He already has uh he averages 21.8 touches a game.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: So just kind of let you know he has 164 rushes, which is like middle of the pack for the league in rushes, so 900 rush yards and 370 receiving yards.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: But I mean, to get that level of work on a team that you know consistently is gonna have an easy schedule for the rest of the season, he's somebody that would uh definitely try to buy buy at costs right now.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And that's a that's an expensive ticket, but well worth the price.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Now for my number one, I have Jonathan Taylor.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: He actually has a really difficult schedule for the rest of the season.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Take a look at this Kansas City this week, and then Houston, and then Jacksonville, Seattle, San Francisco, which is fine, but then Jacksonville again in championship championship week 17, who's a top three run defense.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: And if you have 18 weeks in your league, he plays Houston again after that.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: So he's got Jacksonville and Houston twice.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: I understand that's a very difficult schedule because uh again, Jacksonville and Houston are top three run defenses.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: With that said, he's on an amazing offense.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: The Colts have been pumping, and I think he's matchup proof.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: He has given me no reason to fret at any matchup this year, so I feel like he is going to remain dominant and finish as the number one for the rest of the season.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I totally get you.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, that was actually part of the reason why I faded him was that schedule.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Um, it's tough, it's a very tough schedule, there's no doubt.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: But he does not have a bye.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: So a little, a little bit of a silver lining there.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number two, I do have someone that's been, you know, on an absolute tear already.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: I mentioned it a little bit ago, B.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: John Robinson.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: I think he has a good schedule for the rest of the season.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: I know people would be concerned with uh Michael Penix out and then Kirk Cousins stepping in.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: I think Atlanta's hopefully going to run it through the offense through Bijan like they have been, because he he does already have uh 500 receiving yards for the year and and 783 rush yards.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: So he he's been doing good, and that's with Algier taking a complimentary role, right?
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Consistently getting touches in the red zone.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: So, you know, God forbid they actually give Bijan those red zone touches.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, he's gonna be lights out, right?
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So uh I think at least he got a couple last week.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: It was frustrating the previous week, though.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they have to, man.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: They get the guy gets 20.5 touches a game, which if you watched him play, you feel like he's not getting enough, right?
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Like they're they're giving way too many touches to Algier.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: But I think Atlanta's focus was to try to like you know keep him up upright for the year, especially if they're ready to call it quits, they're not gonna want to break him down.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: But uh, if they just decide, hey, I want to fight for my job, Raheem Morris doesn't want to get fired, then I think he's gonna try to win out for as many games as he can for the season.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: So that would be heavy Bijan usage uh from here on out, and no by a week.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: And my number two is also Bijan Robinson.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Uh, among the top five running backs, he has the best schedule for the rest of the season.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: I totally agree with you there.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, as you just mentioned, hopefully the absence of Michael Penix doesn't affect that production that we've seen because he's being heavily utilized as a pass catcher, too.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: He's had a couple down games over the last month, but every other game, he's been completely dominant.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm not worried about Algier.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: I think Bichon is just given the schedule and the usage we've already seen from him, without the bye week.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: I feel like he's a lock in as the top five, and I think he's gonna finish at number two for the rest of the season.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, we we can agree on that.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Uh now let's switch it up a little bit.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: How about you go if you're number three?
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Okay, for my number three, I've got Christian McCaffrey.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I would have him as the number one if he didn't have a buy in week 14.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: He's matchup proof, and he's had a he does have a couple tough games ahead.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: Um, but he has some really nice matchups too.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: So there's a good balance there.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: And on top of all the production we've seen, he's basically operating as a wide receiver in San Francisco.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: You know, they've had a slew of injuries.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: You know, we net we still haven't seen Iuk on the field.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Pearsall's played in uh, I think three games or maybe four.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, didn't do anything last week.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: But his usage as a pass catcher elevates him to the very top tier of running backs, similar to what we discussed with A-chan and Bijan.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: When they're that heavily involved as pass catchers, and especially with everything we've seen McCaffrey do.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: I feel like, again, if he didn't have that bye in week 14, he would finish as the number one.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: So if you're just going to take it as a collection of average fantasy points, I do feel like he's gonna finish at number one.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: But due to that bye week, that's why he slides down to number three for me.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: Man, and speak about usage, he actually averages 26.7 touches a game.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: McCaffrey McCaffrey's five, six touches more uh uh average per game than the next highest, you know, utilized running back in the league.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: So that's that's pretty ridiculous.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, most definitely.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: Now for my number three, however, I do have someone that has been underutilized, Jameer Gibbs.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: So he has three good matchups left for the rest of the season, you know, three at and we're talking about week week 12 on, guys, right?
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: So 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: So if your uh fantasy season ends week 17, like the majority of the leagues, that means you have six games left in the season here.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: Um, so out of those six games, uh, I looked at it like are they bottom tier or upper tier?
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: So his schedule, he faces three good matchups and three tough matchups.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Um but I think with the way he's been playing, he only averages 17.7 touches per game.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Yet he's he's getting some of the most uh consistent production at his position, right?
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Like he's somebody that as soon as he touches the ball, it's a home run, right?
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: Uh and the problem is the Lions aren't giving him that much touches.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: I think if they do actually feed him an extra three to five touches a game, you would even see his production go up, and maybe he could even overtake some of the other guys.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Uh, but that's why I have him as my number three.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: I think you know, if you can get him, it would be solid, high, obviously very expensive, but also very solid.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: I'll touch on that very soon.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: But my number four is a gentleman that you mentioned as your number one, and that's Devon A.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: Chan.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Uh, don't really need to beat the dead horse, but he has been an absolute monster, and he hasn't had a bad game all season, regardless of who or how Miami is playing.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: So whether they're up or down, he always finds a way to put up legit numbers.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of the time you think, all right, well, the running back's not going to perform at the highest level because they're going to abandon the run.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, he's a pass catcher too, a very good pass catcher.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: He's on a bye this week.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: If he wasn't on a bye this week, I'd probably have him at two or three.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Um, it's just that's the only reason he's slightly outside of my top three, locking him in at the four spot.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Is that bye?
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you look at that guy's numbers, we knew he was gonna be a player, but damn, like I said, regardless of who Miami is playing or how Miami is playing, he is a stud every week.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number four, I have a guy that's probably I'm probably more bullish on him than you know a lot of guys for the rest of the season.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: So Kyron Williams, I have him as number four.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: Now, Kyron out of his last six games, he has four easy matchups, right?
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: Uh, if you look at his usage right now, he's getting 18.1 touches per game because he has about 158 rush, uh 158 carries, 23 receptions, and his yardage is not really anything to you know write home about, but he's almost at a thousand for the season all-purpose yards.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: So, and that's with nine touchdowns.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: So, I think the way they utilize him is he's he's their three-down guy.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: You know, every once in a while they'll rotate, core him in, but when they want to win games, they want to score.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's the guy you put in.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: So I and we seen him last year where he had multi-touchdown games.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: So he's just somebody that could blow it up and you know catch people off guard.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: So if you could get him for a good price, uh, I think he's still you could still buy a little bit lower than what he's gonna be valued at once he does blow up.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: I agree with all that.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: Uh now for number five, rounding out my five, I have Jameer Gibbs.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: I think the Lions are starting to lean on Gibbs a little bit more at this point in the season.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: You know, we've seen a little regression with David Montgomery, and I really hope they do lean on him more.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: He's had a couple duds over the last five games, but he's an amazing player, and I'm confident that he's going on a tear the rest of the season.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: For everything that you mentioned earlier, like, you know, he was my number one going into the season.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And if we can see the kind of usage that I expected, where it's just kind of okay, we're gonna have David Montgomery as more of a change of pace back, but not really involved as a one-two punch.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, I feel like Jameer Gibbs could easily finish inside the top three or even at number one.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: And that offense has a lot of players.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: You know, they they spread the ball out, and that has affected his production just a little bit.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: Uh, but if they want to be playoff contenders and make a run at the Super Bowl, they're gonna have to get him more involved.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I understand, similar to Bijan, how they want to save him and make sure he's healthy, but um, now's the time to turn it up, and I think they're going to.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: I hope so.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: I'm sure millions of fan fantasy also owners also hope so.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and with Dan Campbell calling the plays, it I mean that's what it looks like he's doing.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: Um, we have seen a little bit of a change in their offense, but no matter who's calling the plays, Gibbs will be involved.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: Now for my number five, I've actually faded Jonathan Taylor back to the five.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Now, uh, we you you brush on it earlier.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: His his schedule is pretty tough for the rest of the season.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, there's no buy, uh, but for me, unfortunately, you know, two of those matchups are good, the other four are bad.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: And although, you know, I believe he is matchup proof, the problem is the guy is already rest for 1200 almost 1200 yards, and he has 17 touchdowns.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: So that's that's like on that Jamal, uh, what's his name?
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Uh uh the one that went uh from Detroit a couple years ago, Jamal Williams.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: So Jamal Williams ended up you know having that 27 touchdown season.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: So I could see him doing it.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: I just unfortunately I'm not gonna value him higher than the other guys because you're gonna have to pay a pretty premium for him, and I'm just not ready to pay that price.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: So I'd rather fade him for the rest of the season.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: So if you're looking at those guys, you might even get some better value in other places.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I remember that that Jamal Williams season and uh Raheem Mostert seasons.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Those are both very unexpected and pretty awesome.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: But yeah, man.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I feel like JT is easily gonna pass 20 touchdowns.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: Now at number six, I have James Cook.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: A few difficult matchups in the fantasy playoffs, and Josh Allen's goal line dominance is why Cook is outside of my top five.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: I really like Cook.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: And I was high on him going into preseason, higher than most of these other, you know, people out there on YouTube.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: Um, and I know you were too.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: And and we didn't expect to see him replicate last season, but he's pretty much right in line with last season.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: So, you know, despite the difficult matchups and Josh Allen, you know, taking some of those goal line carries, I I feel like he's still gonna be a force.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: And he started the season on an absolute tear, and he has had a few down games over the last couple months.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: And one thing that that gives me a little bit of pause about this week is he has Houston and then in championship week 17, um 16 and 17, he has Cleveland and Philly.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: So it's not the best matchup for your fantasy playoffs, but I feel like if if you're going to see um the Bills performing at the highest level, they're gonna have to utilize him, and they can't just lean on Josh Allen for the goal line.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: So I feel like he's gonna have a few more touchdowns, and despite the difficult matchups, he could slip into the top five.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, but he doesn't have any buys.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: And despite the difficult matchups, I just feel like he's gonna get enough volume to be a solid fantasy player the rest of the season.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, he has some skills for sure.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: Now for my number six, um, I have CMC.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: I faded him a little bit, obviously.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: Like um, you know, his bioes coming up here the next six weeks, right?
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: So he's gonna, you know, he has three good matchups, so I think that could definitely he those weeks can be crucial, especially if they're in his fantasy playoffs, right?
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Because they're gonna definitely give you the kind of performance that are gonna give your team a better chance of winning.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: Um, but for me, I'm just concerned about his usage.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: He's already uh rushed for 707 yards for the year, and he has 732 receptions or excuse me, receiving yards.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: So, and then his receptions are 74.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: So I made a mistake earlier when I said A-chan leaves the league with 54.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: He's actually only second to CMC, who had 74 receptions already and 193 carries.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: So nobody has outtouched this guy.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: I mentioned it 26.7 points.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: But my my fear is, and I'm really good about this, is that injury bug for certain players just hits.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: And if you look at historically, you know, Kyle Shanahan led offense is for the last five years.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: He has had a season-ending injury to you know, running back at least three out of those five years.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: And then some of those years, he's even had multiple long-term injuries, right?
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: So, you know, whether that be uh uh uh CMC or that was Jordan Mason a couple years ago, uh Raheem Moster a few years before that, you know, like these guys are broken at the same time.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: And then there was another guy, too, that he really had a great rookie season, and then the next few years he couldn't get on the field, and now I think he's on a like practice squad or something.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: So I just uh for me I'm concerned about that, and and that's why I have him at number six because I just you know I don't trust I'm not willing to pay that premium for CMC right now, and I just don't don't feel a hundred percent confident he's gonna hold out for the rest of the season.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Man, I got him in two leagues, so I hope you're wrong about that.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: But um, you know, I I got I got Robinson as a handcuff, so if worse comes to worse, I'm very confident that Robinson can play and perform.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Obviously, not on the same level as McCaffrey, but still.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: I thought of the name, Elijah Mitchell.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: When he came in rookie season, he rocked out, and then the last next two years after that, he was out for the season.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's got floating around ever since.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then the second and third seasons when they got CMC, you know.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh they've had him for about three seasons now.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: So, you know that he's never quite been the same.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: That's a good point.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: So now uh, why don't you give me your number seven?
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: Number seven, I have the Philly Bird, Saquon Barkley.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, he has such a juicy uh schedule coming up here.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Five out of those six games are against bottom tier, you know, bottom tier defenses.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: The guys uh, you know, he's had a decent workload, 175 carries, 28 receptions, you know, but obviously he's also underutilized, right?
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: You see him like they give it to him in the most obvious running situations with a split back or a single back, and Philly needs to really get a full back and start running that I formation, right?
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: Or have somebody leading him because unfortunately, Saquon's just not as effective right now with with how teams are honing out on honing down on him.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: So I know coming into the season I was very big on you know him having success, but obviously there has to be a regression.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: So and and unfortunately, that's what this regression is right here.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: And also with this offensive coordinator, guys, Kevin Batulo, they need to fire his ass.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: He's terrible, but we don't really have a better option.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: So we're we're pretty much gonna suffer for the rest of the season.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, we get it together.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: Um, anyways, what's your number seven?
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: My number seven might surprise you a little bit, but I think you actually degree uh agree to a degree.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Um is Rico Dowdle.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: He has been such a pleasant surprise for anyone that was able to scoop him up off waivers in October, and he will continue to dominate even with a couple even with a couple tough matchups.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Hubbard has been an afterthought after Rico displayed his dominance, and I don't see him slowing down.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: He has Seattle in week 17 championship week, for most people at least, um, and a bye in week 14.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So keep that in mind.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Um I just feel like based on what we've seen from him, that he's gonna have no problem staying in a top 10 for the rest of the season.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And I have him at seventh spot.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: Now, who's your number eight?
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Number eight.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: You know, he's somebody I was higher on this year.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: I had him at number five this year, number four for my preseason rankings, but I still believe in him.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Josh Jacobs.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, we talked, you know, we talked about him using notes.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: He got it uh knee contusion.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: That's the reason why I believe he could buy low on him.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: Because if he waited, uh, I feel like he's gonna, he's 90% sure to miss this week.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: But anything after that, I mean, he has he still has three good matchups out of the next six weeks.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: So you can consider week, you know, week 12 a buy for him, right?
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: That's why he's faded a little bit far back.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: But when he does come back, three out of those five matchups are really uh terrible run defenses.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: So, you know, the guy so far he's averaging 19.7 touches per game.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: He has 648 rush yards and 237 for receiving yards.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: So the guy's almost at a thousand all-purpose yards for the year, but he also has uh a really solid 11 touchdowns this season.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: So he that's actually tied for second, uh, second best in the league.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: The only person obviously JT being uh the highest in the league.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: And the uh he's obviously tied up with Christian McCaffrey with 11 touchdowns.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: So I think make a move for him now or forever hold your peace because once he comes back, no one, you know, he's gonna be an untouchable player uh and finish out the season strong.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: Grab grab him from someone.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, hopefully there's someone in your league that's on the fence about making the playoffs and they are the Jacob's owner because now really is the perfect time to strike.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: Cobra Kai.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: Now, for my number eight, you know, maybe there's just some kind of uh mental attachment that I can't get over, but I have Chase Brown.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like the quarterback change has yielded substantial results for Chase Brown.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: Not only has the entire offense been better, which clearly helps Chase, but he's been heavily involved as a pass catcher too, even more than we expected, especially over the last two weeks, giving him plenty of volume to maintain a high floor.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: He plays New England this week, who's a very good run defense, and he has Baltimore twice, who's that's a divisional matchup, and they have improved, they have improved drastically against the run.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: So do not underestimate Baltimore, but the rest of the matchups are really nice.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: So I feel like there's enough balance where again the volume's gonna give you a high floor, and his ceiling could be pretty high for those nice matchups.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: That's why he's inside my top 10 and number eight.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: All right, I hear you.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: I'll talk about him a little bit later, but you know what's funny is that uh number number nine for me is somebody that's probably I'm probably higher on him than you know most people, right?
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: And that's uh Trevion Henderson, right?
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: So Trevion Henderson, he's somebody I've been a believer on all year long, right?
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: He hasn't really shown up early on, and unfortunately, uh for Trevion Hone uh Henderson owners that sold on him early, like me, you know, you traded him two weeks ago, even results uh as a result of that last game.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: So uh he actually has five super easy matchups uh out of the six games to finish off the season.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: The the sixth game is actually a bye week.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: So he does have a bye week week 14.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: So he's gonna be uh you know out probably one of the most important rounds.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: So if you're somebody that has a first-round buy or you have a really deep team at that position and you can afford to uh have them sit on your bench uh just for that one week, I'd say you you go for it because other than that, he's gonna be giving you a really good high floor uh and ceiling.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: Because right now, um, one thing that I was looking at, he's actually my trade target for the week, um, or our trade target that I would recommend.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: So in the last three games, he's had 47 carries, uh 264 yards, and five touchdowns.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: You know, so that's in three games with only two of them him being a starter, he's averaged five 15.5 touches for those games.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: Uh, that's not a lot, right?
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: Like all these other guys we've been talking about so far are in the 20s, right?
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: So so for him to have those kind of outbursts in such a limited supply, you have to give him more touches.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: So that's why I think he's somebody you could buy low on for the rest of the season because he's gonna be so good for the uh for whatever play uh games he does play for you.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna I'm gonna echo a lot of what you said very soon.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: But for my number nine, I have Derek Henry.
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: Now, I know you and I were both very high on Henry going into the season, but he did have a slow start.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, you got to look at his schedule and the circumstances surrounding Baltimore.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: He had a really tough schedule, and the whole team was struggling, and a lot of that team was injured.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: Now, with the offense and defense back to full health and a very appealing schedule over the remainder of the season, I don't think he'll have any trouble staying inside the top ten.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: So their defense is playing better, their line, their line is all healthy now.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: Lamar is healthy.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: I just feel like with all these moving pieces back in place, it frees up the field for Derrick Henry to produce at the top level that we expected going into the season.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: So I have met number nine.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: And uh I'm glad that we did this, like we're only relieving uh revealing them live, right?
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: So, you know, your arguments, very good argument, right?
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: Things that I you know thought about for Henry, but you know, I didn't put a second thought.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: They would they would definitely cause me to change my opinion and and and raise them up higher than what where I have now.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, that's awesome.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we discussed this before we started recording.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: Like, should we share our list or should we do it like we did preseason?
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: And it is a little more fun because uh, you know, I didn't want Mandy to share his list with me, and then all of a sudden that influences me a little bit to make some adjustments.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: Now, some people do tiers, and that makes sense for a lot of reasons.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have some guys that can be interchangeable, you know, with a few spots up or down.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: So the tiers make sense, but this is the list, and I I I have been a little bit surprised at some of your rankings, but when when you start talking about why, it makes perfect sense to me.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: Now, who's your number 10?
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: My number 10 is a gentleman that you just mentioned a few spots ago, and that's Kyron Williams.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: He's been kind of staying under the radar, but he's been a solid start every single week.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: He may not have the highest ceiling, but he has a very high floor.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: He kicked things up a notch after the bye week and has been playing at a very high level over the last three weeks.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: So, to echo everything you're saying, um, he's just that guy that's gonna be a solid producer.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: He's a three-down back.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: Um, they they utilize him a lot on the goal line, and he's on a solid offense.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: So I feel like he rounds out my top 10 pretty nicely because he's somebody that you don't really have to give too much thought about it.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: You play him, obviously, you're gonna be happy with the output if it's 15 or 20 points every week.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: Of course, you're gonna take that.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: He's a very solid running back, too, and on certain weeks he's an RB1.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 10.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: Um, you talked about him a little bit earlier, but he has been a pleasant surprise.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: Rico Dowdle, Carolina.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: So he out of the last six games, uh, he does have a tough schedule.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: He has two like good matchups.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: The other four obviously are tough ones, but you know, he's gonna get those tough yards, right?
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: Because he's a tough, you know, in between the tackles runner.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Um, but obviously having a bye-week week 14 is a big one too, right?
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: So we mentioned that about Henderson.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: You know, if if you have a player that's gonna be out, you know, can you afford to take them?
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: So these are the guys that you make a trade for only if you're a high seed or you're at that, you know, you have that first round bye, right?
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: Or you can of you're so deep that you can afford to miss one of your better guys for a week.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: So uh, but that's the only reason why I haven't faded.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: Other than that, he's been an absolute stud all year long.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, he's been solid on he has 833 yards already in rushing for the season, like 197 receiving, but he's averaging 19 touches a game.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: He's the type of guy you're definitely starting week in, week out for the rest of the season.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Most definitely.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: I did not realize he had that many rush yards.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's been on the tear.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: Starting like midway through the season, too.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: Um, for number 11, I have Javante Williams.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: Hey, he's been incredible this year, and most people didn't see that coming, myself included.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: And while he's obviously going to remain a focal point of the Dallas offense, he's been less involved in the passing game with CD, Pickens, and Ferguson all back in the mix.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Dallas has an incredible offense and a piss poor defense, which will keep the offense moving the entire game.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: So that's great.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: But they do have a difficult schedule for the remainder of the season, too.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: Their next five games are Philly, Kansas City, Detroit, Minnesota, and the Chargers.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Those are all tough defenses against the run.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: And you know, you're gonna have your work cut out for you, but I feel like he gives you a solid floor every week that it shouldn't make you fret too much.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: You plug them in every single week.
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, oddly enough, I don't have them in my top 15.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: A little tidbit for you guys.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: Take out all the it's it's tough, man.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: I I I was saying this to Manny before he started recording too.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: I said, Man, you know, outside of that top five or six, it's tough to rank these guys.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: You just gotta kind of like we say, look at these specific details because if you still have a trade deadline coming up, you know, this might be your last week in most leagues.
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: Some of you are a little bit deeper, like mine.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: We go a couple more weeks, uh, but you know, you you just gotta play it the right way, you know, strategically.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and we feel like these lists will help you uh evaluate these trades and what makes sense for your team.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and what's available, right?
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: Some guys don't trade in leagues, which I find boring.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: But if you do and you're active, it's it's it's a fun league, you know.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: I've been somewhat of a pussy with trades this this year, but hey man, I'm I'm sitting at the top and I'm feeling real good about my team.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: And it's unless it's something I need, I'm kind of staying away from getting too active.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: But normally I'm very active.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: I know it's been a disappointment.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: All right, uh, so for number for number, why don't you give me your number 12?
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Well, I still have to do number 11.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: Then give me 11.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 11, we talked about him earlier, uh, and you mentioned some of the reasons, but James Cook, I have him a little bit faded to number 11.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Reason being, his next six games, uh, two of them are really good matchups, the other four pretty tough matchups.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: And then obviously, like uh uh, you know, with his volume, it's crazy to believe that this guy is averaging 20.3 touches a game, right?
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: Because if you've seen Buffalo's offense the last two games, uh Josh Allen has taken at least four Russian touchdowns, right?
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: You know, four uh quarterback sneaks at the goal line, right?
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: That should have gone to a cook.
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: So they haven't really been using them.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: So because of that, I know that there are going to be certain games where he might get robbed of that opportunity.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: Uh however, uh so far, you know, considering that he's been robbed that opportunity, he's already gotten eight touchdowns for the year.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: Uh as I mentioned, he's already over uh uh a thousand all-purpose yards.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: So, and that's with 182 touches.
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: So that he's he's a guy that you know uh somebody might be willing to sell a little bit lower on uh and you can get without having to pay a hefty premium.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: Uh, or you know, at the end of the day, I think he if he's available, you make a move for him, right?
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: So uh that's just my take on Cook.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, the reasons that you just mentioned are you know, for last season and this season, that's what everyone was concerned with.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: Is Josh Allen gonna take away those goal line carries?
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: And at the start of the season, that wasn't happening, and Cook was just exploding.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: Touchdown here, touchdown there every week, no problem.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: And the last couple weeks that has changed.
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: I really don't know what to expect, uh, but I'm confident that Cook's gonna be heavily involved, so I don't I don't want to dwell on it too much, but here's here's what I think is gonna happen.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: I think Josh Allen's gonna get continue to get key with these quarterback sneaks, and somebody's gonna rock his snap box, right?
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Like somebody on defense is just gonna hit his ass so hard that he's gonna be like, screw this.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: I'm not trying to take all these sneaks at the goal line.
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: Let me let Cook get hit.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Because if you looked at anything, he's just trying to build up Josh Allen's trying to build up his MVP resume, but he's gonna get to the point where he gets his shit rocked, and then the coach is gonna have him reel it back in, right?
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: So that's where we're gonna see a nice surge for Cook's production.
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, but like I said, trade data lines coming up.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: So if you can make buy on him now, this is probably the lowest value you're gonna get for him all season long.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and whatever the Bills decide to do with Josh Allen or he decides to do himself, I'm cool with that because you know he he and Cook are going to continue producing.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: They will continue to cook.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: Who uh who do you have at number 12?
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: Number 12, uh, you mentioned him, you're very bullish on him.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: Um and you know, and I think he has a solid fantasy floor coming forward.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: That's Chase Brown.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you know, he has a good matchup or good schedule for the rest of the season.
- 43:50SPEAKER_01: Four to five, you know, easy run matchups for him, you know, and obviously his his touches right now are sixteen point five touches per game.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: You know, we see him as obviously the offense running primarily through uh T.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: Higgins and and you know Jamar Chase, but obviously with Chase missing the next game, you know, it could be a really good game for him coming up.
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: Um, obviously, as the season progresses, you're gonna see it fade back with Jamar Chase getting a hefty workload, especially with you know uh Joe coming back from his injury.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, I I do like his outlook.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: I do like his um rest of the season.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: He's somebody that would definitely be happy as having like a nice RB2 on my roster because he's gonna get you a nice uh floor with the potential for a higher ceiling, you know.
- 44:41SPEAKER_01: So uh definitely somebody I I would like to have on my team.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: I've been trying to trade for him in a couple leagues because I really do like his schedule and just the usage he's been getting lately.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: Now at number 12 for me, I got Trevion Henderson.
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, he's been performing at the highest level over the last two weeks, and he had, as you mentioned, he has an amazing schedule for the rest of the season.
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: The only reason he's outside of my top 10.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: Where do you have him?
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: I think you had him at nine or ten or something.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: Number nine, yep.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: The only reason he's outside of my top ten is because he has a bye in week 14, and I'm still a little bit concerned that Mike Vrabel could actually try to get Ramondre involved again.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: I just it was so frustrating during the season up until the last two or three weeks, whenever Trevion took over as a starter.
- 45:39SPEAKER_00: If Ramondre was out of the equation, I might even have Trevion in my top five.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Like that's how high I am on him for his schedule and just the way he's been playing.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Um, but Ramondre makes me a little nervous.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: I I don't know if he's playing this week, but if he's 100% healthy and Mike Drabel wants to make this a committee, that gives me a little bit of a pause.
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: But man, he's been playing so well, he's getting plenty of volume, and the schedule is just top tier.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: So I have him at 12, but again, he could easily be between five and ten, no problem.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 13, I have a Marion Hampton.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: You know, he's a guy that you you know got injured early on, right?
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: Like he only played like I don't know if it was like four games, five games, and then obviously got injured, right?
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: He's been on IR ever since.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: So he's somebody that's on obviously has a bye week this week, right?
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: So he's you know, he hasn't played.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: You're only gonna get five games out of him for the rest of the season.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: So I think as long as the price is, you know, not too high for his value, you know, you could get him as a good RB2 slash RB3, but his his schedule is super easy to finish off, right?
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: Like, not super easy, but he has three to four good matchups, right?
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: Where he's gonna uh should be producing.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: And if he's getting that kind of workload, he was hitting like 30, 40 yard touchdowns right before he got injured, you know.
- 47:13SPEAKER_01: So he's he's very explosive.
- 47:15SPEAKER_01: I think the fact that they waited six weeks to get him back out there is gonna make you know he's gonna be 100% good to go.
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: And so he's gonna they're gonna lean on him heavily, especially with Josh Justin Herbert, how he struggled this past week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: Like they have they have to figure something out, and Kamani Vidal is not it, obviously.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: So once once he comes back, I think he's definitely projected to have a really nice spurt to end of the season.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I actually don't have him on my top 15, but I agree, man.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: I'm glad if they held him out just to make sure he's 100%, I'm glad they did that too.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: Because the offense is performing well, and man, he was playing so well before he got injured.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: I totally understand the argument to have him inside that top 15.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: Now for my 13, feels crazy, but I have Saquon Barkley.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: It feels weird to have him outside of my top 10, but you know how high I was on him going into the season.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: We anticipated regression, we did, but I didn't think it was gonna be quite this much of a regression.
- 48:24SPEAKER_00: I thought it would just be subtle.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: Uh, but the entire Philly offense has been really hot and cold this year, and the last four out of five games, he's finished well below his projections.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: So I don't really know how to gauge the Philly offense moving forward.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: With that said, the schedule for Philly is pretty nice, and Saquon Barkley is Saquon Barkley.
- 48:49SPEAKER_00: So if they can just kind of get things syncing up on offense, you know, I I like everyone on that offense if they can kind of get it together.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: But yeah, the play calling's been a little strange.
- 48:59SPEAKER_00: You don't know if it's gonna be Devonta Smith or AJ Brown or Dallas Goddard, and uh Saquon Barkley's, you know, he's gonna give you a solid floor.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not too worried about that.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: Um, but I was expecting his ceiling to be higher, even with the regression.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: So the rest of the season, just because I have a lot of question marks about the Philly offense, that's why he's at number 13 for me.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I definitely can can see that going that direction.
- 49:29SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, I'm a Eagles fan and I refuse to believe that ever.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, now fair, that's fair, man.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: Now um now we're on number 14, right?
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: So why don't you hit us with your number 14?
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 49:44SPEAKER_00: For my 14, I have Bucky Irving.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, I would easily have Bucky inside my top 10 if I knew he was 100% healthy.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: But I thought he was gonna be back a couple weeks ago.
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: So the first month of the season, he was rock solid.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: And his schedule for the rest of the season is fantastic.
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: With so many injuries, Tampa will definitely have him involved in the passing game where he has always been productive.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: So if he's 100% healthy, I love Bucky the rest of the season.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: We've been telling you guys to trade for Bucky.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: If someone has held on to him this long and he's back this week, the chances are that window has closed.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: But if you can get him, you know, Manny and I both like him for the rest of the season.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: And when I glanced at his schedule, I liked him even more.
- 50:29SPEAKER_00: I'm just a little bit concerned because it's not just the foot, it's the shoulder too.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: You know, it was initially just the foot and then he had the shoulder injury.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: So, you know, he was practicing last week.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: If he can get some full practices in this week, uh, you know, he doesn't have a buy, he's gonna be ready to go.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: But if he's not 100%, they might have him limited for a week or two.
- 50:52SPEAKER_00: I would rather they just keep him out until he's 100% and then take the reins off and let him eat.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 51:01SPEAKER_01: I could definitely, you know, oddly enough, I don't I don't have him in my top 15.
- 51:07SPEAKER_01: Um, but part of that reason is of course, you know, like you mentioned, the injury, right?
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, is it another Joe Mixon situation?
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: Uh I mean, because he's he had that shoulder and ankle injury before he missed that, you know, before he played his last game, right?
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: And he was able to shoot up and then all of a sudden he's done, you know, after that, after a good performance.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: But uh, yeah, if he's healthy, definitely easily a top 10 player.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 14, you talked about him earlier.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: Like I said, you know, I would probably move him up a little bit higher on my list after hearing you.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: But uh Derrick Henry have him at number 14 here.
- 51:47SPEAKER_01: Uh he has a super nice schedule to finish off uh four out of those six games are against bottom tier run defenses.
- 51:56SPEAKER_01: Uh he's already gotten 166 carries, so he's around the league average for touches.
- 52:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, but he and he averages 17.7 touches a game, but he already has 800 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: So you can expect another thousand yard season and ten touchdown season for Henry, obviously barring any injuries.
- 52:17SPEAKER_01: Um, especially with Lamar Jackson back, right?
- 52:20SPEAKER_01: Like there's that double threat option, right?
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: Is Lamar gonna take it on the edge, you know, with the key, you know, with the uh RPO, or is he gonna hand it over to Henry down the middle?
- 52:30SPEAKER_01: So it's it's definitely gonna create some opportunities for him.
- 52:34SPEAKER_01: Uh and you know, I think most people undervalue him right now, too.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: So you could probably get a frustrated Derrick Henry owner to at least sell him to you at uh you know 20% off.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: So that's funny because I mean it it's funny you say 20% off, but that is probably pretty accurate.
- 52:52SPEAKER_00: You know, you're gonna get him slightly be below his value.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: Now, to cap off the top 15 for the rest of the season, I have Josh Jacobs.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: I'm more concerned about Jacobs than I am Bucky.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know they just said it's a knee contusion, but I really hope that's the truth.
- 53:14SPEAKER_00: I really hope it's just something that keeps him out for one week, maybe two, and then he's back to 100% because he's been awesome this year.
- 53:22SPEAKER_00: And you called this in preseason.
- 53:24SPEAKER_00: You knew he was gonna be a stud.
- 53:25SPEAKER_00: I knew he was gonna be a stud as well, but I didn't expect him to play this well.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and again, I don't think he's playing this week, but if he can get back to full health by week 13 or 14, he should be an absolute force for your fantasy playoffs, despite a somewhat difficult schedule.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: He's a must-start.
- 53:42SPEAKER_00: If he's playing, even if he's limited, he's a must-start.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: So go get him if you can find someone that's frustrated or really needs a win this week.
- 53:50SPEAKER_00: You say, hey, Jacobs isn't playing this week.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: You know, you can take this guy and get 15 points, or you can roll the dice and hope that you make the playoffs.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's a compelling argument, right?
- 54:04SPEAKER_01: Like there's guys that are selling high right now on uh on certain players, just so they have that opportunity, especially with bye weeks or injuries.
- 54:13SPEAKER_01: You know, and that's why my number 15 prospect, I think for the rest of the season, he's somebody that has a tough matchup, but and has been underutilized.
- 54:24SPEAKER_01: But I think you know, it's it's a matter of time before they do start utilizing him, and that's Aston Genty at Las Vegas.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: Two out of his six games are are good matchups, the other four are tough ones.
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: But if you if you watched the Las Vegas Raiders play this past Monday, you realize that you know they didn't uh they started going through him a little bit later as the game progressed, but by then it was already insurmountable, right?
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: It was already a run a bit runaway game for them.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: So I think as long as they um focus on their offense, which is you know run through him, I think the sooner they realize that, the better off they're gonna be.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, but uh you know, if his usage goes up, I'm happy, right?
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: Because right now he's 17.8 touches a game and he's underutilized, right?
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: The games that they give him over 20 touches, he's he's produced his his scoring.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: So I I expect that to be the result for the season, and you might even see him get a little bit more receptions because right now he has 29 for the season, and I I think it could only go up, you know, as the Raiders get more and more desperate to win.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I know I mean I know the Raiders, we expected them to struggle, just like we expected Cleveland to try to struggle.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: That's why we didn't have Judkins any higher.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: But the thing is, it's like I've seen that a few times where Genty just looks awesome out there, and then the following week they hardly utilize him.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: So it's it's strange.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: It's it's the Raiders.
- 55:53SPEAKER_00: Um, I really don't know what to expect with that team for the rest of the season.
- 55:56SPEAKER_00: They might just want to, you know, kind of keep him healthy and not give him as much uh reps as he deserves.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: Um, but I but I hope they do too, because that's the only way you're gonna get better is to get more reps.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: So I hope you're right about that.
- 56:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so that's awesome.
- 56:18SPEAKER_01: That was our top 15.
- 56:20SPEAKER_01: You know, we really appreciate you guys tuning in.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: It's always, you know, a pleasure.
- 56:25SPEAKER_01: This is uh going three seasons strong, and we're getting close to the end of the season.
- 56:29SPEAKER_01: So, you know, if you guys have any comments, you know, share, download, you know, send us likes.
- 56:35SPEAKER_01: We appreciate the support.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: We'll continue to do so.
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: Uh Joe, did you have anything more for these guys here?
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: No, just appreciate the support.
- 56:43SPEAKER_00: We like the comments.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: It's good to see that we've got a worldwide following, and we hope that grows even bigger with the years to come.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and unfortunately, it's that time we all hate guys.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: It's the end of the show.
- 56:56SPEAKER_01: So we'll see you here next week.
- 56:57SPEAKER_01: Same time, same place.
- 56:59SPEAKER_01: Tell your mothers, tell your grandmothers, and make sure they send us food because we're very hungry.
- 57:04SPEAKER_01: Joe's a bachelor, Joe.
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: Joe's looking for a sugar mama.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: So you know, yeah.
- 57:10SPEAKER_01: I'm just kidding.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, we appreciate you guys.
- 57:12SPEAKER_01: You have a great rest of your night, and uh, we'll see you again uh next week.
- 57:16SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
