- 0:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, at your favorite type
- 0:04Speaker 1: of week, you get together on the crazy sheet, you
- 0:07Speaker 1: download it, you come in here, will be in Scottie.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm in the podcasting studio. He's at home. We're kicking
- 0:12Speaker 1: off the new year. Baby, we got three games left
- 0:14Speaker 1: in college football. I'm excited, Scotty.
- 0:17Speaker 2: How the hell are you?
- 0:17Speaker 3: Man? Man, I am super excited. What a what a
- 0:21Speaker 3: run this is? I mean, I can't believe Mario Cristobal
- 0:28Speaker 3: had Mario cristobald yet, of course that may be coming
- 0:32Speaker 3: to the chagrin of all the Mississippi State fans and
- 0:36Speaker 3: to the chagrin of Mark atnipp who's sporting about a
- 0:39Speaker 3: seventeen thousand dollars pay day. Yeah, but the uh but man,
- 0:45Speaker 3: I mean, Miami looks really good, you know. Unfortunately, I
- 0:50Speaker 3: think the Miami performance coming in and being on the
- 0:53Speaker 3: verge of not making it is I think gonna lead
- 1:00Speaker 3: to an expansion of the playoffs, which I do not
- 1:02Speaker 3: think we need. Candidly, we just need the twelve best teams.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We need twelve best teams. We need a Notre Dame
- 1:08Speaker 3: in this too. I'll be honest with you. But the
- 1:12Speaker 3: twelve best teams are all we need, and that is
- 1:16Speaker 3: that solves a lot of problems. It doesn't matter if
- 1:18Speaker 3: we go to look at the them. Look at college basketball.
- 1:21Speaker 3: We go to sixty eight teams now and they still
- 1:24Speaker 3: bitch about the five guys that got left out. You know,
- 1:26Speaker 3: first four in, first four out. You're never gonna satisfy
- 1:30Speaker 3: a body this siding. Everybody gets a trophy. Sorry, somebody
- 1:33Speaker 3: ain't gonna make it play better during the year. That's
- 1:36Speaker 3: kind of the deal. And the regular season needs to matter.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I think the NFL has too many teams, but you know,
- 1:44Speaker 3: at the end of the day, that's professional sports. It's
- 1:46Speaker 3: a different deal. College football needs to be exclusive, and
- 1:50Speaker 3: I really do, I really do think we don't need
- 1:54Speaker 3: to expand. But if we go, we don't need to
- 1:56Speaker 3: go beyond sixteen. I do think there's I do think
- 2:00Speaker 3: there's one change that has to happen, and one in
- 2:02Speaker 3: seven it's hard to argue, and that's the team's getting
- 2:06Speaker 3: a bye, they have to play a home game, or
- 2:10Speaker 3: they can't wait a month before they play. I mean,
- 2:13Speaker 3: that's just simply too long of a layoff for a
- 2:15Speaker 3: team who's already gotten the game ten days before they've
- 2:19Speaker 3: gotten the rust off, and then you can't argue with
- 2:24Speaker 3: one in seven. It is what it is. These seven
- 2:26Speaker 3: teams have not been the worst team every time, and
- 2:30Speaker 3: all will look at Indiana Kirk Signetti's Kurt Signetti and
- 2:35Speaker 3: Indiana's playing fabulous football. I mean and candidly probably got
- 2:40Speaker 3: a team that wasn't that isn't very good. You know.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I think Kaylin de Boer is a year or two
- 2:47Speaker 3: from being fired at Alabama. That's my honest opinion. But
- 2:51Speaker 3: I think we need to figure out how to get
- 2:52Speaker 3: those guys a home game.
- 2:54Speaker 1: No, I agree format wise, and again college football is
- 3:00Speaker 1: like I'm watching Days of Our Lives instead of a
- 3:01Speaker 1: couple of times because you've got the tie ins to
- 3:03Speaker 1: the bowls, and it's like, why are we giving someone
- 3:06Speaker 1: a Sugar Bowl trophy for winning the game, Like they
- 3:09Speaker 1: didn't win the Sugar Bowl. They won a playoff game.
- 3:14Speaker 1: We don't have to have an entire ceremony, but winning
- 3:17Speaker 1: a playoff game, you know when you excuse me when
- 3:21Speaker 1: you get this so that part strange?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Did you hear the guy and I can't remember who
- 3:27Speaker 3: it is or I would give him credit, So apologies
- 3:29Speaker 3: on the front end that recommended moving using the bowl
- 3:34Speaker 3: games at the start of the season. Un let's have
- 3:37Speaker 3: some marquee matchups.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I love that idea, and I do too. I'm all
- 3:43Speaker 2: four of you.
- 3:44Speaker 3: That's a that's a tremendous idea.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I would love the season to open up with two
- 3:49Speaker 2: or three with two.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Or three weeks of marquee games like a meter Bowl
- 3:54Speaker 1: and Orange Bowl.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Made for television games, make them travel.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Because I'm of the opinion onion that with these college
- 4:01Speaker 1: football games that yeah, these I I think the second
- 4:04Speaker 1: round deserved to be at the home field. Like Tech,
- 4:07Speaker 1: you get a bye, but you don't get a home
- 4:10Speaker 1: field game, and then you have to go on the road.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And you know, even Dan Lanning said it, he was like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: we're doing this wrong. You know, we should be going
- 4:16Speaker 1: to Lubbock to play Texas Tech, and instead we're all
- 4:19Speaker 1: going to Miami.
- 4:20Speaker 2: And it's expensive for the fans. It's because it's a
- 4:23Speaker 2: made for TV product. But I'm okay with it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And so but the one thing I will say about
- 4:28Speaker 1: the tournament, especially this year, because everybody complains.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I'm not one. I'm we got more football to gamble on.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I mean, I was I on the over in the
- 4:36Speaker 1: Division one Double A championship the other night. You bet
- 4:39Speaker 1: your damn ass I was on the over in that game.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And do I still think college kickers are terrible people?
- 4:44Speaker 1: You bet your ass I do, because that's.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Terrible people after Saturday, after Sunday night.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah, they're awful.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Man.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I mean one of my good friends, kicker Randy Bullock
- 4:55Speaker 1: won of Luke Rosa, actually bitched at him because he
- 4:57Speaker 1: didn't vote for the Tokyo Toe. I was like, come man,
- 5:00Speaker 1: how are you not voting for the kid for Hawaii.
- 5:02Speaker 1: He's like, he's not even an American. I'm like that,
- 5:04Speaker 1: don't worry about that.
- 5:05Speaker 2: You know, he's got a great name. Let's get him
- 5:07Speaker 2: in anyway.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But my point is is that you've got these teams
- 5:12Speaker 1: and they get in the tournament. And I have set
- 5:14Speaker 1: this time and time again when people ask me who's
- 5:17Speaker 1: going to win it, who's going to get in? And
- 5:19Speaker 1: my comment was, if you get in the tournament, you
- 5:23Speaker 1: have a chance to win the Natty. And that's never
- 5:26Speaker 1: something we would visualize until this year. And here you
- 5:30Speaker 1: are with the Miami team that people didn't think was
- 5:32Speaker 1: going to get in.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Here we are with an old miss team that most people.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Didn't pay attention to. Let yeah, Lane Kiffin leaves and
- 5:40Speaker 1: here they are with what the story. They're Division two quarterback.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You know, Trinidad Chambli's transfer. You've got Indiana, historically the
- 5:48Speaker 1: worst team in college football, who's right there in the
- 5:51Speaker 1: odds on favorite to win it. And then you've got
- 5:54Speaker 1: this Oregon team who has been around the top five
- 5:57Speaker 1: to ten for the last twenty years but can't figure
- 5:59Speaker 1: out how to get over the hump. And you're starting
- 6:01Speaker 1: to wonder It's like, is this gonna be the year
- 6:03Speaker 1: where like all the blue bloods are gone. It's like
- 6:06Speaker 1: we're gonna look up and say, oh my god, it
- 6:08Speaker 1: finally changed. I mean, these are these are four teams
- 6:12Speaker 1: minus Miami twenty years ago that we would have never
- 6:14Speaker 1: said could win a national championship.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yeah, no question. You know, here's the you know the thing,
- 6:20Speaker 3: like I've seen a lot of and I saw Bruce
- 6:22Speaker 3: Belman write an article it's impossible to say that that
- 6:27Speaker 3: the SEC looks it looks like things have leveled out
- 6:29Speaker 3: since they were paying. If you're stupid enough, look, Reggie
- 6:32Speaker 3: Bush lost the Heisman because he got paid for paying.
- 6:36Speaker 3: They just weren't paying. The money wasn't enough to make
- 6:40Speaker 3: you leave and travel all over the country, and the
- 6:42Speaker 3: talent's all on the southeast. I mean, that's the truth.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That was why they had an advantage. Now that's over,
- 6:49Speaker 3: you start paying people three million dollars six hundred gad.
- 6:52Speaker 3: You got to remember some kid in Mississippi. I mean,
- 6:56Speaker 3: I think they had eighteen players in the top four
- 6:58Speaker 3: hundred or something. I think like six of them stayed
- 7:01Speaker 3: in the state of Mississippi. It's with old miss having
- 7:04Speaker 3: nil figured out, you know, and and nobody's staying. They're
- 7:09Speaker 3: all going other places. They're doing different things. It's because
- 7:13Speaker 3: the money is so gigantic. You got a mom and
- 7:16Speaker 3: a dad who are making fifty grand as a family
- 7:19Speaker 3: and their kid gets offered eight hundred grand to go
- 7:22Speaker 3: to Oregon or eight hundred grand. His ass is gone.
- 7:26Speaker 3: There ain't no more staying logo. They will watch him
- 7:28Speaker 3: on TV. Well, he will apply them to the ballgame.
- 7:32Speaker 3: You know. It is just a it is a different world.
- 7:36Speaker 3: They can buy their parents tickets now, do you know
- 7:39Speaker 3: a booster can It's all this is legal. It's there's
- 7:43Speaker 3: so many different things. So do I think that this
- 7:48Speaker 3: is good for college football? What's going on? One hundred percent. Not.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Do I think it is good for the talent distribution
- 7:55Speaker 3: one hundred percent. Yes, the talent is more equal. You
- 8:00Speaker 3: can change the fortunes of your program faster. But I
- 8:03Speaker 3: do not think that this is good for college football.
- 8:06Speaker 3: It's a total fiasco. I mean, hell, what's going on
- 8:08Speaker 3: with the quarterback at Washington right now? Just to complete
- 8:12Speaker 3: and utter debacle. But that's what's wrong. And look, they
- 8:17Speaker 3: may take it to court and they may win some
- 8:19Speaker 3: money from LSU in a couple of years, and it'll
- 8:22Speaker 3: get tied up in court, and the only people that
- 8:23Speaker 3: are gonna make anything out of that is a couple
- 8:25Speaker 3: of lawyers. That's it. Total bullshit. The kid's gone. You
- 8:29Speaker 3: need to chalk it up and just say we got screwed.
- 8:32Speaker 3: It is what it is. You don't like it, change
- 8:34Speaker 3: the rules. Mississippi State's been dealing with this for decades.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I don't feel sorry for anybody. We had players bought
- 8:41Speaker 3: out from under us for decades. I don't feel guilt,
- 8:45Speaker 3: don't feel bad about it happening to anybody else. We
- 8:48Speaker 3: need to fix this, and it's not gonna get fixed
- 8:51Speaker 3: until we fix the transfer portal. These kids having unlimited
- 8:55Speaker 3: funds available to them and unlimited transfers is asinine and
- 9:01Speaker 3: I can't say it enough. And until some adults involved
- 9:04Speaker 3: in college football want to actually act like adults and
- 9:07Speaker 3: have to make some hard decisions, we're not gonna fix this.
- 9:11Speaker 3: It is about being able to transfer whenever without penalty.
- 9:15Speaker 3: That's a problem. One time your coach leaves, you gotta
- 9:18Speaker 3: be able to transfer. After that, we'll give you maybe
- 9:22Speaker 3: one transfer. But we got kids playing five schools in
- 9:26Speaker 3: five years. Man, that's asinine. We got to fix college football.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Onto the games. BOYD, how great were those games last
- 9:35Speaker 3: week Texas Tech? I thought we called that game to
- 9:37Speaker 3: a t at The quarterback play was awful and it
- 9:41Speaker 3: was basically quarterback terrible.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that team will go as far as the quarterback
- 9:49Speaker 1: could carry it. And I had watched Moreton play I
- 9:52Speaker 1: don't know, in person four times this year, and there
- 9:54Speaker 1: was three different times I saw.
- 9:57Speaker 2: The game was too big for the kid, and I.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Wasn't too big for him, and then he was in
- 10:02Speaker 3: tears after the game, And you feel sorry anybody who's
- 10:05Speaker 3: got it, anybody who's got a kid who is in
- 10:09Speaker 3: sports or who played sports, man, you don't have a
- 10:12Speaker 3: heart if you don't, because man, the whole game, you're like,
- 10:14Speaker 3: this game is just way over said, and then you
- 10:16Speaker 3: look at the kid and he's in tears, and here's
- 10:18Speaker 3: a cold son of a gun if you don't feel
- 10:21Speaker 3: for the kid. Because I think we all run into
- 10:25Speaker 3: at points in our life where if you've really pushed
- 10:29Speaker 3: yourself in anything, business, your marriage, you really you get
- 10:34Speaker 3: to where, man, I have I have I have gotten
- 10:38Speaker 3: to more than I'm capable of doing. And that was
- 10:42Speaker 3: exactly where Baron Mornes was in that ball game. Stuff
- 10:45Speaker 3: to watch Oregon is good. I think Dan Lanning is
- 10:49Speaker 3: a very very good football coach. I think the job
- 10:53Speaker 3: they've done developing their quarterback and I hope he comes back.
- 10:58Speaker 3: As I see Todd Simpson as now applaying for the NFL.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Uh just bounced across my phone. I think this is
- 11:06Speaker 3: a week quarterback here. So I think that's probably a
- 11:08Speaker 3: good decision by him, because there's always a need for quarterbacks.
- 11:13Speaker 3: But the but I hope he stays at Oregon because
- 11:16Speaker 3: I think they've got a really good team. Although I
- 11:18Speaker 3: saw one of their one of the running backs just
- 11:20Speaker 3: at the portal, like what the hell are you gonna go.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It's got to get you a better situation than Oregon.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I thought that Georgia Old Miss game was one for
- 11:29Speaker 3: the ages, But Mark, I got a question for you,
- 11:32Speaker 3: and it goes across every ball game. I don't care
- 11:36Speaker 3: what analytics are telling these guys. If you are going
- 11:40Speaker 3: for it on fourth down and turning down points in
- 11:44Speaker 3: the first quarter or in the first half of the
- 11:48Speaker 3: football game, down less than the touchdown at your own
- 11:52Speaker 3: in your own territory, you're being a dumbass. I don't
- 11:57Speaker 3: care what the analytics tell you, because I keep asking
- 12:00Speaker 3: every analytical guy this. So when do y'all factor in that,
- 12:05Speaker 3: how it weighs out? You know how many games it
- 12:09Speaker 3: lost him? Well, that's not what the analytics are looking
- 12:11Speaker 3: at the analytics for. How many times you're gonna get
- 12:14Speaker 3: a first down out of it?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I'm like, well, how many times is it gonna lose
- 12:18Speaker 3: you the football game? Being a dumbass? I thought Kaylen
- 12:23Speaker 3: de Boer's decision to go for it and it had
- 12:25Speaker 3: no varying on the game long term because they were
- 12:27Speaker 3: gonna get gas canned. Whether he did it or not,
- 12:30Speaker 3: but you cannot put your team in that situation that
- 12:35Speaker 3: early in the ball game. Herbie Smart, I think lost
- 12:38Speaker 3: George of the football game going forward on fourth down
- 12:40Speaker 3: not getting it. I think they had Old Miss reeling.
- 12:43Speaker 3: They gave them all the momentum and Old Miss never
- 12:47Speaker 3: lost it. And kudos to the Revs were getting it done.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Trinidad Chambliss is he was. I thought Greg Mchaelroy did
- 12:57Speaker 3: such a great job in this call of just saying
- 13:01Speaker 3: right now, he's a video game. He's a video game,
- 13:04Speaker 3: and that is exactly what he was. I mean, he
- 13:06Speaker 3: just I mean a couple of the plays he made.
- 13:08Speaker 3: But Gunner Stockton was equally as good, just not as
- 13:12Speaker 3: quite as flashy. He got rushed not once, not twice,
- 13:18Speaker 3: but three times when he was scrambling and made great
- 13:21Speaker 3: plays that extended drives. I thought both those quarterbacks played great.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I think the difference in the ballgame was the new
- 13:29Speaker 3: coach didn't make any mistakes that the long term guy
- 13:33Speaker 3: that's been here did. So I thought that was I
- 13:35Speaker 3: thought that was interesting. Indiana. I don't want to go
- 13:39Speaker 3: back to them briefly, Boy, they looked like a wagon,
- 13:41Speaker 3: which scares me to death for this weekend scares me
- 13:46Speaker 3: to death. Hard to be the good team twice, which
- 13:48Speaker 3: we talked about with old messing Georgia. But I thought
- 13:51Speaker 3: Georgia had gotten it on the track. But man, Indiana
- 13:55Speaker 3: looks so good and they are rushing the portal with
- 14:00Speaker 3: their with going out and getting it done the way
- 14:03Speaker 3: they're getting it done. I think they got the best
- 14:05Speaker 3: quarterback fit getting the TCU quarterback. Just fy. I think
- 14:11Speaker 3: I think they're set up great. So that looked. That
- 14:14Speaker 3: looks like a lot of fun. So onays some fun
- 14:17Speaker 3: games this weekend. So good recap there, Mark.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's uh, it was good. I enjoyed it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I I liked how the games rolled out for some
- 14:26Speaker 1: of these things I've tried.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I've gone back and watched all these games.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Uh, candidly because I was kind of in the can
- 14:32Speaker 1: watching the Ohio State Miami game. Is it was because
- 14:35Speaker 1: the longer that game went on to realize it was
- 14:38Speaker 1: getting late early for the Ohio And I had said
- 14:42Speaker 1: I did not like Ryan Day transferring over to call plays.
- 14:45Speaker 2: That was not something that I thought was good for
- 14:47Speaker 2: this team. Uh. They ran sixty plays in that game. Uh.
- 14:51Speaker 2: They they've literally catered into.
- 14:54Speaker 1: What Miami wanted, and they're like, hey, you want to
- 14:56Speaker 1: play bully ball, we'll play with you. And I don't
- 14:58Speaker 1: think they realized that you can't give that Miami defensive
- 15:02Speaker 1: front thirty five seconds between plays and letting those guys,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you know, it's it's a door and Reuben Bains catch
- 15:09Speaker 1: their breath and then those two defensive tackles that just
- 15:12Speaker 1: eat people much time together and they look good because
- 15:16Speaker 1: that Miami secondary looks good too. I mean, it's a
- 15:20Speaker 1: good thing you've seen against that that Ohio State.
- 15:23Speaker 3: And the offensive line's good and the offensive line's good, Mark,
- 15:27Speaker 3: I will tell you though, I will say this as
- 15:29Speaker 3: I'm not a Miami fan by any stretch, but I
- 15:32Speaker 3: do enjoy college football more when they're good and Clee.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I kind of feel the same way about Notre Dame
- 15:39Speaker 3: because you love to hate on them.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yea.
- 15:42Speaker 3: And and but the swagger Wagon is just the swagger one.
- 15:46Speaker 3: There's just something about Michael Irvin taking his bell tall,
- 15:51Speaker 3: you know, bt a in I mean gotta, I mean,
- 15:56Speaker 3: you gotta loving their ray Lewis is down there, it's
- 15:59Speaker 3: just being a murderer. And just to follow more on
- 16:03Speaker 3: down on the sideline, or I shouldn't say un accessory
- 16:05Speaker 3: to murder, because I don't think ray Lewis that's that is,
- 16:08Speaker 3: that would be trashing a man's name. But as he
- 16:13Speaker 3: to a murder, that's exactly right. I think we can
- 16:15Speaker 3: I think we can say that safely. But I love
- 16:17Speaker 3: ray Lewis, I really do, even though he's a raven
- 16:19Speaker 3: and I'm a Sticklers fan. The guy was a great player.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I love watching how much they love the youth. I
- 16:26Speaker 3: really am. I mean, I I love it. I think
- 16:29Speaker 3: it's awesome. You know, they get down there, they are
- 16:31Speaker 3: living and dying. There are people that are annoyed to
- 16:35Speaker 3: death with Michael Irvin, and I think it's funny. You know.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So college football is better when they're good. Uh, it's
- 16:42Speaker 3: it's just a different storyline. And it does feel like
- 16:46Speaker 3: christ Ball is getting them back and and and what
- 16:50Speaker 3: I think he's able to do in the portal with
- 16:53Speaker 3: their boosters is when they miss because he's still recruiting
- 16:56Speaker 3: pretty well and pretty heavily in high school, and I
- 16:59Speaker 3: think people are missing that they're are position and defensive
- 17:04Speaker 3: line being one of them. They're recruiting pretty heavily out
- 17:07Speaker 3: of high school, but they're filling niches everywhere else with
- 17:11Speaker 3: the transfer portal. And I've said this again, I said
- 17:14Speaker 3: about Ohio State last year. I think those are the
- 17:16Speaker 3: teams that it's going to pay off for in long term.
- 17:20Speaker 3: You can't just go all portal. I don't think you
- 17:23Speaker 3: can do it. Indiana has proven me wrong right now.
- 17:26Speaker 3: But and Mark, you mentioned them being the losing his
- 17:30Speaker 3: program after these two gigantic seasons. It's up to them
- 17:34Speaker 3: to the next to last losing his program in the country.
- 17:38Speaker 3: The job Signette's doing is awesome. And I said, do
- 17:41Speaker 3: I think the game is better?
- 17:43Speaker 2: No?
- 17:43Speaker 3: Do I think the talent distribution is better? Yes, But
- 17:46Speaker 3: you can't argue with old miss and Indiana having a
- 17:51Speaker 3: seat at this table in the final four and a
- 17:54Speaker 3: chance to win it. You can't tell me that anybody
- 17:58Speaker 3: can't get it done. Now. Anybody can get it done.
- 18:01Speaker 3: You just got to have the guy leading your program
- 18:05Speaker 3: setting it up the way to do it. And I
- 18:07Speaker 3: will tell you this, I think I truly believe Florida
- 18:13Speaker 3: may if their new coaching staff does what they're setting
- 18:17Speaker 3: out to do, which is to mimic the entire setup
- 18:21Speaker 3: that is in Oxford. If they do that at Florida.
- 18:24Speaker 3: With their type of money and that type of exposure,
- 18:28Speaker 3: they are going to be in a really, really good
- 18:30Speaker 3: way because again Kiffin got this huge amount of credit
- 18:34Speaker 3: for the Hoes, the portal King. You can look at
- 18:37Speaker 3: that defensive line. They're gonna roll out there this week,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and it's a bunch of Mississippi kids, Saint Terene Perkins,
- 18:44Speaker 3: Mississippi kids that they signed out of high school, the
- 18:46Speaker 3: Eccles kids signee out of high school from Houston right
- 18:49Speaker 3: down the road. They did a much better job than
- 18:53Speaker 3: people realize with high school recruiting these last three or
- 18:55Speaker 3: four years. And they've done it while Mississippi State's been
- 18:58Speaker 3: kind of rudderless, and so it is to their credit.
- 19:02Speaker 3: They've done a great job in there. You can't question
- 19:05Speaker 3: what they're doing in nil. Walker Jones is the name
- 19:07Speaker 3: that probably nobody knows that is doing as good of
- 19:12Speaker 3: a job with the resources he has as Cody Campbell's
- 19:15Speaker 3: doing at Florida. He's just not a billionaire. And Walker
- 19:18Speaker 3: Jones is doing a great job in Oxford. He's a
- 19:20Speaker 3: former under Armor executive, he is a former player there
- 19:25Speaker 3: when I was in school. By all accounts, a tremendous
- 19:29Speaker 3: guy I do not know him, but by all accounts
- 19:31Speaker 3: is a really, really good guy. You combine that with
- 19:34Speaker 3: their athletic director who's a former basketball player. Rebel's got
- 19:39Speaker 3: some things going. So I think it's great to see
- 19:41Speaker 3: some other people there. It's nice to see not some
- 19:45Speaker 3: non Blue buds. I clearly ain't cheering for Old Miss
- 19:48Speaker 3: for a lot of reasons. I am cheering for Indiana
- 19:51Speaker 3: and I hope they get it done.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Oh man, No, it's good.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And like I said, the talent evaluation situation in college.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Football is amazing.
- 20:00Speaker 1: It's it's kind of currently it'll catch on. I'm not
- 20:04Speaker 1: gonna say you and our.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Trend setters, but we've talked about this for years.
- 20:07Speaker 1: But the guys that are eval in the talent, especially
- 20:09Speaker 1: the portal, is where the magic sauce is because you
- 20:14Speaker 1: can you can take the gratings, you can take everything else.
- 20:17Speaker 1: But it's a matter of saying, Okay, how are we
- 20:20Speaker 1: going to take these kids in, How can we build a.
- 20:22Speaker 2: One to two year roster? What are we going to do?
- 20:24Speaker 2: Everybody's got visions on the roster. Crystal Ball's talked about it.
- 20:27Speaker 1: He's been open. He was like, I don't think you
- 20:29Speaker 1: can go out and build a roster with offensive and
- 20:31Speaker 1: defensive lineman, you know.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Through the portal.
- 20:34Speaker 1: He's like, I think you have to have the core
- 20:36Speaker 1: come from recruit That's how we want to build it.
- 20:38Speaker 1: And he goes and then we'll plug in the pieces
- 20:40Speaker 1: that we need it, you know, in other spots.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And he's right, and that's that's how he's built his roster.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But then, but you got to love the Rose Bowl
- 20:47Speaker 1: where you know they give the Offensive MVP Award to
- 20:51Speaker 1: Pat Coogan, the offensive tackle that transferred from Notre Dame
- 20:55Speaker 1: to Indiana.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Kids gonna, you know, what a great time it was.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Also to see him do that.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I love the fact that Herbstreet was even talking about
- 21:03Speaker 1: in the boot It's like.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Let's give it to the light, Let's give it to
- 21:06Speaker 2: Pat Coogan. And I was like, fuck, yeah, let's give
- 21:08Speaker 2: it to an offensive lineman. I mean that got touchdowns
- 21:12Speaker 2: and offensive line MVPs.
- 21:13Speaker 3: I've all in, man, I love me too. It was great.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Look it is it is such a such a such
- 21:20Speaker 3: a different time in college football just with the teams
- 21:25Speaker 3: that are there, and look, don't think they're going anywhere.
- 21:29Speaker 3: The talent evaluation is critical. I'm telling you a major
- 21:32Speaker 3: school is missing the boat on Dan Mullen. He hated recruiting.
- 21:37Speaker 3: He didn't like it. That's the only reason he's not
- 21:39Speaker 3: at Florida. He's a highly underrated recruiter. And he's the
- 21:43Speaker 3: best talent evaluator I think I've ever seen. I know,
- 21:47Speaker 3: he's the best that's ever come through Startville, and that
- 21:49Speaker 3: includes Jackie Sheryl. He is a fabulous talent evaluator. Some
- 21:54Speaker 3: big school is missing the boat because the only thing
- 21:57Speaker 3: he wasn't good at you don't have to do anyway
- 22:00Speaker 3: or not do well, which is high school recruit The
- 22:03Speaker 3: guy is a fabulous talent evaluator. He's a better recruiter
- 22:07Speaker 3: than people giving credit for. You just look at the NFL.
- 22:09Speaker 3: It's covered up with guys he signed in Missippi from
- 22:12Speaker 3: Mississippi states that have made Pro Bowls and you know
- 22:15Speaker 3: things like that. So he's better talent evaluator and recruiters
- 22:18Speaker 3: than people gave him. That guy's missing a job because
- 22:21Speaker 3: talent evaluation is the key. If you can evaluate players
- 22:24Speaker 3: and go after the right guys, you can pay them
- 22:28Speaker 3: now and you can go select them, and it's different
- 22:32Speaker 3: than it used to be. And if there's a guy
- 22:34Speaker 3: that you thinks underrated, you can go over pay him
- 22:36Speaker 3: and get him. That's the truth. You know, there's a
- 22:40Speaker 3: you find a guy like I'll take Jeffrey Simmons, who
- 22:42Speaker 3: was a really highly rated guy but was really a
- 22:45Speaker 3: regional recruit for where he was. If Dan's at Florida
- 22:51Speaker 3: and he decides Jeffery Simmons is underrated, what you just
- 22:53Speaker 3: overpay him a little bit. They got more money and
- 22:57Speaker 3: they go get him. I mean, there is so many
- 22:59Speaker 3: kids that never set foot on Mississippi State's campus. But
- 23:02Speaker 3: if he gets at a job where he's got good
- 23:05Speaker 3: nil base, I think Dan's gonna crush it. So on
- 23:08Speaker 3: to this week's games, Mark, let's do.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Some things, brother.
- 23:12Speaker 1: We've got two games this week, Scottie, Well, you got
- 23:14Speaker 1: old Miss Miami Thursday night Friday evening. We've got the
- 23:19Speaker 1: University of Oregon in Indiana in a rematch. We'll do
- 23:22Speaker 1: these games in chronological order on what we've got. Let's
- 23:26Speaker 1: open this one up. Miami comes into This was a
- 23:29Speaker 1: three and a half point favorite. There's a couple of
- 23:31Speaker 1: fours out there floating around. If you're able to shop
- 23:33Speaker 1: it over under here is fifty two and a half
- 23:36Speaker 1: Miami's twelve and two, nine and five against the Number
- 23:39Speaker 1: and five and nine to the under Old Miss is
- 23:42Speaker 1: thirteen and one with the redemption win over Georgia last week,
- 23:46Speaker 1: nine and five against the Number, and seven and seven
- 23:49Speaker 1: straight up.
- 23:50Speaker 2: When you look at these two teams and how.
- 23:52Speaker 1: They're going to go about it, and I've gone back
- 23:54Speaker 1: and watched both of these teams playoff games to see
- 23:57Speaker 1: what the take is.
- 23:58Speaker 2: You've got two.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Diametrically opposite score opposite programs, and how they run their offenses.
- 24:03Speaker 2: You've got there. Old Miss wants to run fast. They
- 24:06Speaker 2: want to They're averaging seventy six, seventy eight plays a game,
- 24:09Speaker 2: I think is what I was looking at. H They
- 24:11Speaker 2: want to run quick, get everything going. It all starts
- 24:15Speaker 2: with two players there. They've got Trinidad Chambliss and Keiwan Lacey.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And he's kind of the one that I think a
- 24:20Speaker 1: lot of people nationally haven't talked about a ton unless
- 24:23Speaker 1: you're just a college football nerd like me.
- 24:25Speaker 2: But he's he's been the bellcal for this offense all
- 24:28Speaker 2: season long.
- 24:29Speaker 1: And when you start digging into what they're gonna get
- 24:32Speaker 1: from this game this week, that's where I think The
- 24:34Speaker 1: difference is going to come down to it is Miami
- 24:37Speaker 1: going to be able.
- 24:38Speaker 2: To keep Old Missus offense off the field.
- 24:41Speaker 1: The best way to not let Chambliss and Lacey beat
- 24:45Speaker 1: you is to keep them on the sideline. Miami runs
- 24:48Speaker 1: a slow pace. They want to pound the rock. If
- 24:51Speaker 1: you look at Old Missus defense, they're like sixtieth in
- 24:54Speaker 1: the country against the rush. This is the lowest graded
- 24:58Speaker 1: team left in the tournament as a whole, especially on
- 25:01Speaker 1: the defensive side of the ball. And so where I
- 25:03Speaker 1: think you're gonna get this and again this is are
- 25:05Speaker 1: we going to crystal ball? He hasn't done it yet,
- 25:09Speaker 1: and he maybe he's trying and the other.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Coaches just won't let him. I don't know, but you
- 25:14Speaker 2: know you have it.
- 25:15Speaker 1: The quarterback play for Miami has not been the difference makers.
- 25:19Speaker 1: There hasn't been a big chunk plays that have been
- 25:21Speaker 1: in there. Malakai Tony has got some big plays here
- 25:24Speaker 1: and there. He's been great in special teams, having some
- 25:26Speaker 1: trouble hanging on the ball. He's had fumbles in both
- 25:29Speaker 1: of the last two games. But Fletcher, the running back
- 25:32Speaker 1: for Miami, has really been the difference maker in this
- 25:36Speaker 1: and then they've got Pringle on the other back, kind
- 25:38Speaker 1: of as the change of pace guys. I look for
- 25:41Speaker 1: a heavy, heavy dose of run game for Miami in
- 25:45Speaker 1: this one. I think they're going to try to control
- 25:47Speaker 1: the clock. I think they're gonna pound it, pound it,
- 25:49Speaker 1: pound it. I think then they'll take a shot quarterback.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Play Wise, the best thing they're getting out of the
- 25:54Speaker 1: quarterback is he's not making that many mistakes and he's
- 25:57Speaker 1: not turning the ball over and they're not four to
- 26:00Speaker 1: have to put him in some situations to where he
- 26:03Speaker 1: has to go out and make, you know, complete thirty
- 26:05Speaker 1: five passes to win the game. And so with Miami,
- 26:08Speaker 1: where I think they're gonna go here is I anticipate
- 26:10Speaker 1: a low scoring game. First half under is my bet
- 26:14Speaker 1: in this game. I think he'll go under. It's gone
- 26:17Speaker 1: under every other week that they've played Miami's been a
- 26:19Speaker 1: lot of these first half unders in bowls have come true.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I think it's because you've got weird timing, where locations,
- 26:25Speaker 1: everything else that goes into it. But I honestly think
- 26:28Speaker 1: Miami is going to work their ass off to keep
- 26:30Speaker 1: the Old Miss offense on the sideline.
- 26:32Speaker 2: But then when they do get in the game. That
- 26:34Speaker 2: Miami pass.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Rush and that Miami rush defense I think is gonna
- 26:37Speaker 1: give Old Miss some trouble.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I really do.
- 26:40Speaker 1: And so I don't know who's gonna win. I lean
- 26:42Speaker 1: to Miami to win the game. I think Old Miss
- 26:44Speaker 1: could stick around and cover. But first half under is
- 26:47Speaker 1: gonna be my official bet when it comes.
- 26:49Speaker 2: To this game.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that first half under. I do think
- 26:54Speaker 3: it's gonna take them a little while to feel things out.
- 26:59Speaker 3: It's gonna, I think, may be harder for Old Miss
- 27:01Speaker 3: to get it going. They got to string some plays together.
- 27:04Speaker 3: I will give you another. I think I think Harrison
- 27:07Speaker 3: Wallace is a I mean good gravy at Penn State
- 27:12Speaker 3: actually had player at wide receiver. Wallace has been outstanding
- 27:18Speaker 3: for Old Miss, and he was just, I mean a donut.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, how could you not get this
- 27:25Speaker 3: guy open? The hell? All he does is get open
- 27:27Speaker 3: for Old Miss. So I think he makes a ton
- 27:29Speaker 3: of plays, and I think they're going to have to
- 27:35Speaker 3: lighten I guess the box a little bit with Chambliss
- 27:38Speaker 3: and throwing the ball and trying to get him to
- 27:40Speaker 3: do some things. But this offense has moved in on everybody.
- 27:44Speaker 3: How much can they go tempo? How much can they
- 27:47Speaker 3: string and drive together? That's going to be the gonna
- 27:50Speaker 3: be what I think the difference is. Lacy is lacy,
- 27:53Speaker 3: but I think this Old miss offensive line is going
- 27:55Speaker 3: to have trouble with his defensive line because I think
- 27:57Speaker 3: the Miami defense is very good and playing very good.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Certainly feels like first half under this could also be
- 28:04Speaker 3: a score fest when these teams kind of get themselves
- 28:07Speaker 3: figured out, because I do think Miami's gonna be able
- 28:09Speaker 3: to move the football on them a little bit, but
- 28:12Speaker 3: I think that's gonna be through the run game and
- 28:14Speaker 3: through some swing pass, wide receiver screens things like that.
- 28:19Speaker 3: So again, things that probably aren't gonna be gigantic chunk plays.
- 28:23Speaker 3: So and I ain't gonna miss gonna need chunk plays
- 28:25Speaker 3: to score. So I think this is gonna I think
- 28:29Speaker 3: this is gonna be a great ball game. But I
- 28:30Speaker 3: think that first half under is a tremendous, tremendous bet. Again,
- 28:34Speaker 3: you said it. This is the worst of the four
- 28:36Speaker 3: teams left in my opinion, certainly on the defensive side
- 28:40Speaker 3: of the football, they're the worst of the team's left.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Feels like Old Missus Runs is gonna come to an end.
- 28:46Speaker 3: But I'm gonna tell you this team got galvanized with
- 28:48Speaker 3: everything that went on. They've played their best football since
- 28:52Speaker 3: all this started with Lane Kiffy. They were kind of
- 28:56Speaker 3: mad against Florida, you know, at they crushed South Carolina,
- 29:02Speaker 3: they crushed Mississippi State. They've played really well in these
- 29:06Speaker 3: two playoff games, and here you go, playing well and
- 29:10Speaker 3: that's basically when all of this started. So I think
- 29:13Speaker 3: they kind of galvanized themselves. This team has really stuck together.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I think Pick Golding has done a very very good
- 29:20Speaker 3: job making it about the kids, just continuing to put
- 29:24Speaker 3: them forward and take the onus on themselves. So I
- 29:27Speaker 3: think it's gonna be a close football game, but I
- 29:29Speaker 3: do think Miami gets to win here. But I like
- 29:33Speaker 3: the first half under like you is probably the best bet.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna go first half under. Final score for me
- 29:39Speaker 1: Miami twenty eight, Ole miss twenty one. The whole game
- 29:43Speaker 1: goes under.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I like it. I like it.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Next game, we got Scottie Indiana Oregon. This is a rematch.
- 29:51Speaker 1: These two teams have played, Oregon's getting three and a
- 29:54Speaker 1: half points in this one, Oregon's thirteen and one straight
- 29:56Speaker 1: up nine and five against the number seven and seven
- 29:58Speaker 1: straight up, a lay in three and a half, fourteen
- 30:02Speaker 1: and oh straight up nine and five against the number
- 30:04Speaker 1: eight and six to the over under in this one.
- 30:08Speaker 1: This is a ten point line swing from when they
- 30:11Speaker 1: played earlier this season in Eugene.
- 30:14Speaker 2: That's a humongous difference if you think about it now.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Granted, a lot of people are just gonna go look
- 30:19Speaker 1: at what the final score was and see that the
- 30:21Speaker 1: final score in that game was thirty to twenty and
- 30:24Speaker 1: just think that it was.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Just domination by Indiana. I encourage you to go back
- 30:29Speaker 2: and watch that game.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Those two quarterbacks and the number one and two quarterback
- 30:34Speaker 1: that people think are gonna get drafted, Dante Moore and
- 30:37Speaker 1: Fernando Mendoza probably had two of the worst games that
- 30:41Speaker 1: they played all season long.
- 30:42Speaker 2: In there. There's three interceptions, there's a pick six.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It was a mess. So it was not quarterback play
- 30:50Speaker 1: that got them to where they were in this one.
- 30:52Speaker 1: When you start digging into these two teams, man, if
- 30:55Speaker 1: you can see a path for Oregon winning this game,
- 30:59Speaker 1: Dante Moore is going to have to play the absolute
- 31:02Speaker 1: best game he has ever played, and that's coming off
- 31:05Speaker 1: of the game last week where you know, you watched
- 31:08Speaker 1: him play jmu in the knock was, oh, can.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Oregon play defense? They gave up all these points to
- 31:13Speaker 2: Jamu at the end.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Then you go watch them play Texas Tech and you
- 31:16Speaker 1: really dig into that one. The touchdown that they got
- 31:19Speaker 1: was off of fumble and they ran it in from the.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Five yard line.
- 31:22Speaker 1: The second touchdown was a garbage touchdown with about a
- 31:24Speaker 1: minute left in the game, and the Texas Tech defense
- 31:27Speaker 1: pretty much shut down the Oregon offense. I mean they
- 31:30Speaker 1: kept them out of the red zone. When they did
- 31:31Speaker 1: get him in the red zone, they actually forced him
- 31:33Speaker 1: to have to kick some field goals in there, and
- 31:36Speaker 1: you had some bad transitions between the quarterback and the center.
- 31:40Speaker 1: There was a couple of broken plays that could have
- 31:41Speaker 1: caused fumbles in there as well. And so from the
- 31:45Speaker 1: Oregon offense, it's really hard for me to look at
- 31:48Speaker 1: this team and go, how are they going to fix
- 31:50Speaker 1: all these things in one week's time. Against an Indiana
- 31:53Speaker 1: team that has absolutely been a wagon coming into this,
- 31:57Speaker 1: they dismantled Alabama, I mean literally just beat them in
- 32:02Speaker 1: every element of the game. And so they have got
- 32:05Speaker 1: to be coming in with so much confidence in this one.
- 32:09Speaker 1: I just don't I have no you're gonna laugh. I
- 32:11Speaker 1: kind of want to lean Oregon here if I can
- 32:13Speaker 1: get me an Oregon four. And the main reason is
- 32:16Speaker 1: is I think everybody's on this Indiana bandwagon. It's the
- 32:20Speaker 1: second time they're gonna play. It's hard to beat a
- 32:24Speaker 1: team twice. We've talked about it didn't happen very often.
- 32:27Speaker 1: It didn't happen last week in the old Miss Georgia game.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I lean Oregon plus four if I can get a
- 32:33Speaker 1: four in this one. I don't know if they can
- 32:35Speaker 1: pull it off. Man, where are you at on this one?
- 32:38Speaker 3: I like Oregon to cover and a candidate, I think
- 32:42Speaker 3: they may win this game. It's hard to beat the
- 32:44Speaker 3: team twice. I got burned on that last week. What's
- 32:48Speaker 3: the show? You know? Burn me once? Shame on you,
- 32:50Speaker 3: burn me twice, shame on me. Well, I'm gonna try
- 32:52Speaker 3: to not go shame on myself. I'm gonna try to
- 32:55Speaker 3: learn from the mistake. I think Indiana is a good
- 32:58Speaker 3: football team, but I don't think they're a great football team.
- 33:00Speaker 3: They need to run the football, and I do think
- 33:04Speaker 3: they're gonna make try to make Mendoza beat them. And
- 33:09Speaker 3: I think more again, he was a young and that
- 33:11Speaker 3: was a home game, but he was still a young
- 33:13Speaker 3: and inexperienced quarterback at that point, and it was also
- 33:17Speaker 3: shortly after his trip to Penn State. If it wasn't
- 33:20Speaker 3: the next week, is what two weeks later? I mean
- 33:22Speaker 3: it was right behind it. It was just a couple
- 33:24Speaker 3: of weeks apart. So we're still a young quarterback at
- 33:28Speaker 3: that point hadn't played a ton of snaps. I just
- 33:31Speaker 3: feel like Lanning has got this team very much jelling
- 33:36Speaker 3: at the right time. And Signetti is I think the
- 33:39Speaker 3: winner of the national title is this ball game. I think, unfortunately,
- 33:44Speaker 3: this is who's gonna win the Natty if we could,
- 33:47Speaker 3: and I think we should at some point receive Can
- 33:51Speaker 3: we please recede when there's a bunch of I mean,
- 33:55Speaker 3: this is a playoff that oh well so and so loss,
- 33:59Speaker 3: so she could they should and the two best teams
- 34:01Speaker 3: should be playing in the semis. The two best teams
- 34:03Speaker 3: we got left. Well, let's just I need just a
- 34:08Speaker 3: smart person who's normal with some common sense to get
- 34:12Speaker 3: involved in the college football. I don't know if they
- 34:14Speaker 3: exist that anybody they'll listen to, because it's a bunch
- 34:17Speaker 3: of m ads, and everybody knows what I think about them.
- 34:21Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, let's receive, man,
- 34:24Speaker 3: let's receive. I mean, I just think, you know, just
- 34:27Speaker 3: think it's the right thing to do. But I think
- 34:29Speaker 3: Oregon is going to cover and I think they got
- 34:31Speaker 3: a real chance to win. If you're brave on money line,
- 34:34Speaker 3: is a decent play for you here, You've got a
- 34:35Speaker 3: chance to make one and a half times your money.
- 34:40Speaker 1: No, I looking at you, So if you to answer
- 34:43Speaker 1: your question, Scott, the Indiana game was one week after
- 34:46Speaker 1: they played Penn State. Yeah, they came back from Happy
- 34:50Speaker 1: Valley and then they matched up inst Indiana. And you know,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you could argue at the time that Oregon probably that's
- 34:57Speaker 1: all you were coming up with three times on travel.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Have you come all the way back across the country.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Indiana's coming in and.
- 35:05Speaker 1: He hasn't played Yeah, I hadn't played anybody at that
- 35:08Speaker 1: point before they well, actually they were coming off of
- 35:10Speaker 1: the Iowa game, which you know, and saying they've won
- 35:14Speaker 1: that one. But at the same time, I don't think
- 35:16Speaker 1: Indiana was considered a quote unque even though they were
- 35:18Speaker 1: in the tournament last year.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Nobody was still looking at Indiana as a big game
- 35:21Speaker 2: for them.
- 35:22Speaker 1: And so I'm with Oregon. I'm gonna take Oregon plus
- 35:25Speaker 1: the points. I'm gonna try to get a four. I
- 35:27Speaker 1: will probably bet the first half under again. First half
- 35:30Speaker 1: under through the Bowl games, including the playoff games, I
- 35:32Speaker 1: think is up about ten units if you've just been
- 35:35Speaker 1: playing that as a standalone, make the bet every single time.
- 35:39Speaker 1: And so I'm gonna go with Oregon plus the number
- 35:42Speaker 1: in that one, I'm gonna go with the first half under.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I think Oregon pulls the upset too. I think we're
- 35:46Speaker 1: gonna end up with Oregon in Miami, two opposite ends
- 35:50Speaker 1: of the country, two different swagger wagons, Baby coming together
- 35:55Speaker 1: and just meeting up. But the other thing too, Scott,
- 35:59Speaker 1: you know where the National Chamampionship is.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Here in Miami.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Let's go, Baby, Let's go man. I wish the old
- 36:04Speaker 2: Orange Bowl still existed. Just fucking grudgey as a motherfucker.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I pissed in a trash can there one time when
- 36:10Speaker 2: I was in college when I wouldn't watch Baylor play.
- 36:12Speaker 2: It's fucking awesome anyway, but that's not going to do
- 36:16Speaker 2: with that one. Those are the players we got two
- 36:18Speaker 2: first half unders. We think Oregon could cover the number.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Another interesting line if you're into props, you know, I
- 36:23Speaker 1: know if the kids like those.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And the thing gonna keep in mind too when you
- 36:27Speaker 2: look at.
- 36:27Speaker 1: These props is is that in college they calculate rush
- 36:30Speaker 1: yards differently because the quarterback rush yards get calculating with
- 36:34Speaker 1: the sacks. But you can find it twenty Trinidad Chambli
- 36:37Speaker 1: is over twenty six and a half yards rushing. I
- 36:40Speaker 1: think that could be a pretty good bet if he
- 36:42Speaker 1: can overcome some of the sacks. Just I think he's
- 36:44Speaker 1: going to be scrambled a lot. I do think that
- 36:46Speaker 1: a Miami front is going to give them problems there.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I do think they're probably gonna give probably gonna give them,
- 36:54Speaker 3: uh some problems. I will tell you a couple of
- 36:59Speaker 3: the couple of the prop bets that I think are
- 37:04Speaker 3: that I think are are interesting. I find it hard
- 37:06Speaker 3: to believe. I mean, they got Fletcher with two rushing touchdowns.
- 37:11Speaker 3: That seems like a big number. Kee Lacy is plus
- 37:16Speaker 3: ninety yards. Now that scene tie against that front. You
- 37:21Speaker 3: got you got Carson back two plus passing touchdown. That
- 37:26Speaker 3: there's some there's some interesting but Trendidad Chambliss only two
- 37:30Speaker 3: hundred and seventy five yards passing, almost gonna get their
- 37:34Speaker 3: doors blown off. He doesn't throw three hundred yards. I
- 37:38Speaker 3: really believe that. I truly believe that. I think they're
- 37:41Speaker 3: gonna get their doors blown off. He doesn't throw up
- 37:42Speaker 3: three hundred yards. So that that that that seems like
- 37:46Speaker 3: a seems like a big number. So anyway, there's some
- 37:49Speaker 3: interesting prop bets always out there. You know, they got
- 37:54Speaker 3: some receiving they got some big receiving numbers in some
- 37:57Speaker 3: of these games. So I kind of enjoy it this, uh,
- 38:00Speaker 3: I mean, Malachai Tony is seven plus receptions. I mean
- 38:06Speaker 3: that's that's a lot. You know that is that that's
- 38:10Speaker 3: that's a whole lot.
- 38:11Speaker 2: That's a lot. Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 3: So anyway, that is there's some there's some interesting prop
- 38:16Speaker 3: bets out there for you to look at and remember
- 38:19Speaker 3: you can take the opposite side of some of these
- 38:21Speaker 3: that the books are trying to trying to push you towards.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I mean, do you really think Draft Kings is laying
- 38:27Speaker 3: a number out there they think they're gonna lose, and
- 38:30Speaker 3: they know you're all, oh, yeah, he's gonna get Oh yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 3: he's definitely gonna he's definitely gonna throw for two touchdowns,
- 38:36Speaker 3: you know, be scared to take you to take you
- 38:40Speaker 3: a Carson back under two touchdowns, you know. So it's
- 38:44Speaker 3: there's some interesting prop prop bets out there. Not a
- 38:47Speaker 3: huge prop bet guy. They are kind of fun to
- 38:49Speaker 3: look at it this time of the year.
- 38:51Speaker 1: No, I would agree, folks, it's been fun. Thank you
- 38:54Speaker 1: for the download. Share us with your friends. I get
- 38:56Speaker 1: some funny comments on Twitter. I enjoy the hell out
- 38:58Speaker 1: of all of them.

- 39:01Speaker 2: We'll be back at you next week.
