Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few months of the congressional
- 0:07investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell, we've heard from
- 0:11many different people. Well, today, June tenth, twenty twenty six,
- 0:17we can now add Bill Gates' name to the list.
- 0:19And I think it's going to be intriguing when it
- 0:22comes to Bill Gates and what he has to say,
- 0:24considering that he lied about the relationship he had with
- 0:26Jeffrey Epstein for so long. I mean, all those years
- 0:30he was lying about how close he was to Epstein,
- 0:34and now that he's called out, and now that there is,
- 0:37you know, evidence backing it up, he's walking all of
- 0:40that back. And obviously that doesn't look good, right, not
- 0:44from an optics perspective, especially considering just how forceful Bill
- 0:49Gates was when he was trying to tell everybody that
- 0:52it was all overblown, that he had no idea what
- 0:56Jeffrey Epstein was only for us to fin And I
- 1:01know this is gonna shock you guys. He was lying,
- 1:05and I know that's very hard to believe. I mean,
- 1:07these are the greatest people on earth, right, that's what
- 1:10they tell us and that they're all so altruistic and
- 1:13they're gonna give away their fortune and they care about
- 1:15the needy and the sick and people in Africa. Meanwhile,
- 1:19Bill Gates didn't even care about the girls that were
- 1:21being abused by Jeffrey Epstein. So save the bullshit. We
- 1:25all see this shit for what it is, and that's
- 1:28performative philanthropy. It's not doing it out of the kindness
- 1:30of his heart. He's trying to win hearts and minds,
- 1:35trying to change narratives, trying to make people think that
- 1:38Bill Gates has humanity's best interest at heart, when in reality,
- 1:43Bill Gates has always had Bill Gates' best interest at heart,
- 1:47just like the rest of these people, and for years
- 1:49that was enough to provide them with armor, to have
- 1:53them protected by the legacy media. Well that's not the
- 1:56case anymore, and for the first time, Bill Gates is
- 1:59gonna have to answer publicly about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 2:06Today's article is from CNBC and the headline Bill Gates
- 2:09to face questions about Jeffrey Epstein from House Oversight Panel.
- 2:14This article was authored by Dan Mangen, Microsoft co founder
- 2:18Bill Gates is set to be interviewed Wednesday by a
- 2:21House committee about his controversial friendship with the notorious sex
- 2:25offender Jeffrey Epstein. Look, if you would have just been
- 2:28honest from the beginning, he would have avoided all of this.
- 2:32And if you weren't involved in actually abusing the girls,
- 2:36and the only thing you have to worry about is
- 2:37your reputation and being embarrassed. Don't you think getting out
- 2:41ahead of it would have been a good idea before
- 2:43it became this big thing. I mean, logically speaking, that's
- 2:46what you want to do, right, get ahead of shit, unless,
- 2:48of course, you have more to hide. And I gotta
- 2:51tell you, I don't think it's that big of elite
- 2:54to think that Bill Gates has more to hide when
- 2:57it comes to his relationship with Epstein. Then we know
- 3:00about if your wife is divorcing you, and pointing that
- 3:04out as one of the reasons, I would say that
- 3:06the chances are pretty good that you and Jeffrey Epstein
- 3:09are more than just pen pals. The mega billionaire. Gates
- 3:14is one of the biggest names to submit to a
- 3:16grilling by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which
- 3:19for months has investigated Epstein's network of high profile friends.
- 3:24Gates testimony comes a day after the committee questioned Epstein's
- 3:27former longtime executive assistant, Leslie Groff, and according to reports,
- 3:32she had some interesting things to say. Talked about the
- 3:36phone conversations that she would facilitate between Donald Trump and
- 3:40Jeffrey Epstein, and a few other things that were reported
- 3:45that were pretty interesting. Now, like usual, I would caution
- 3:49everybody to take it with a grain of salt and
- 3:52wait until we get the transcripts so we could see
- 3:54for ourselves. But according to reports, she was a bit
- 3:58evasive when it came to certain questions, and when it
- 4:02came to the questions about Trump, she said that she
- 4:04would set out phone calls with them like once a quarter,
- 4:07twice a quarter, something like that. And what it does
- 4:11is that it establishes that connection. Right now, it's not
- 4:15evidence of anything, not on its own, but when added
- 4:18to the collective, it certainly helps build the foundation that
- 4:21you're trying to build the rest of the case on.
- 4:23And remember, every single case, every criminal case, is built
- 4:27on circumstantial evidence. First, that's what they collect. They build
- 4:31a foundation with circumstantial evidence, and once that foundation is
- 4:36secure and strong. They build up from there. So the
- 4:39circumstantial evidence is important. On its own, it doesn't prove anything,
- 4:43but together it becomes damning. Gates testimony comes a day
- 4:48after the committee questioned Epstein's former longtime executive assistant, Leslie Groff.
- 4:53Representative James Comer, the Kentucky Republican who chairs the committee,
- 4:57told reporters Tuesday that anything's on the tape in terms
- 5:01of questions for Gates, he seems like, according to his attorneys,
- 5:04I wouldn't say eager to testify, but he's willing to testify,
- 5:08and he hasn't fought it, and I appreciate that. Well,
- 5:12you know the old saying, between a rock and a
- 5:13hard place, that's it. That's where he is. What's he
- 5:18gonna do deny it? So they actually hit him with
- 5:20a subpoena and they bring him in and he actually
- 5:23gets caught up. No way, he'll go and sit for
- 5:26a voluntary chat like Pam Bondy and pay attention to
- 5:30the people that want it to be voluntary like that,
- 5:33because in my opinion, those people know a lot more
- 5:36than they're gonna let on, and that, of course is
- 5:38why they don't want to be under oath. Gates became
- 5:43friends with Epstein in twenty eleven. The Wall Street Journal
- 5:46has reported that was three years after Epstein pleaded guilty
- 5:50in Florida state court to soliciting an underage girl for prostitution.
- 5:54Epstein served thirteen months in jail in that case. I mean,
- 5:59if you want to call it that, and imagine being
- 6:02Bill Gates and trying to pitch to the rest of us,
- 6:04us poor unwashed masses that he had no idea who
- 6:08Jeffrey Epstein was. Buddy, weren't you like the richest dude
- 6:12in the world at that time or close to And
- 6:14you mean to tell me that nobody's out here telling
- 6:17you who you should and shouldn't be hanging out with.
- 6:19Your security is not like, hey, look, Bill, not a
- 6:22good idea. This dude right here, Well he was diddling kids.
- 6:27Probably shouldn't hang out with him? Or did they tell
- 6:30him that? And did Bill Gates just ignore it because
- 6:32he wanted Jeffrey Epstein's friendship and according to him, donations,
- 6:37which I find odd anyway, Do you really think Bill
- 6:40Gates needs to reach out to Jeffrey Epstein for donations?
- 6:44No other rich people. You don't have any buddies that
- 6:47work at Microsoft, that make a bunch of dough. Ah,
- 6:49of course not. Let's reach out to the child molester.
- 6:53That was three years after Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida
- 6:56state court to soliciting an underage girl for prostitution. Epstein
- 7:00served thirteen months in jail in that case. He died
- 7:03from a jailhouse suicide in August of twenty nineteen, weeks
- 7:07after his arrest on federal child sex trafficking charges. All
- 7:11the coincidence and if you think anything else, well, you
- 7:16are a conspiracy theorist. How dare you not buy the
- 7:19official line hook and sinker? What's wrong with you? What
- 7:22are you a trader? The friendship between Gates and Epstein
- 7:25received renewed attention in late twenty twenty five with the
- 7:28release of documents about Epstein and his associates by the
- 7:32Department of Justice in Congress. Gates has not been accused
- 7:35of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, and no, I don't
- 7:40think anybody said that. It's the enabling, it's the working
- 7:44with them after Epstein was already a sex offender, and
- 7:48then it's the lying about it. I think that's what
- 7:50bothers people the most, because if he had nothing to hide,
- 7:53why would he lie? Why wouldn't you just be honest
- 7:55from the beginning. CNBC. He has requested comment from the
- 8:01Gates Foundation, the philanthropic organization founded by Gates and his
- 8:05ex wife Melinda Gates, about his testimony. The New York
- 8:09Times reported Tuesday that Gates was preparing for his testimony
- 8:13with the help of Jake Greenberg, who until December was
- 8:16the Oversight Committee's Chief investigations council. Ah, no kind of
- 8:20conflicts of interests there, right, So, mister j Greenberg was
- 8:25the head of investigations for mister Comer, but now of
- 8:29course he's working for Bill Gates. But there's no ethical
- 8:33issues here. Everything's on the up and up. Come on.
- 8:36It's just like when all the prosecutors left the Southern
- 8:38District of Florida's office to go and work for Epstein
- 8:41adjacent law firms right in the middle of the case.
- 8:44Completely ethical, no big deal. They're not going to share
- 8:48secrets with the other side. CNBC has requested comment from Greenberg.
- 8:54A spokesperson for Gates and March said in a statement,
- 8:57Gates welcomes the opportunity to appear before the com well,
- 9:01isn't that nice? Why didn't he offer to come forward
- 9:04earlier and talk about what he knows? Why did he
- 9:07try to lie about the relationship instead? If he was
- 9:09so looking forward to it. While he never witnessed or
- 9:13participated in any of Epstein's legal conduct, he's looking forward
- 9:17to answering all the committee's questions to support their important work,
- 9:20the spokesperson said. In February, Gates apologized to staff at
- 9:25a Gates Foundation town hall for his association with Epstein
- 9:29and admitted that he had affairs with two Russian women,
- 9:32according to The Wall Street Journal, which noted that Epstein
- 9:36had become aware of the affairs. Oh, he became aware
- 9:39because he was the middleman, mister matchmaker Epstein. We all
- 9:45know he liked to play that role, and of course
- 9:47he had ulterior motives, and that is having something to
- 9:50hold over people's heads. But sure, no compromiset either, Right.
- 9:56I did nothing illicit, I saw nothing ilicit, Gates said
- 9:59during the ment could assession, according to the journal, but
- 10:03Gates also reportedly said at the event it was a
- 10:06huge mistake to spend time with Epstein and bring foundation
- 10:09executives into meetings with Epstein. I apologize to other people
- 10:14who were drawn into this because of the mistake that
- 10:16I made. Gates reportedly said, well, what about the people
- 10:21that were abused because you helped enable this idiot? What
- 10:24about the girls that had their lives ruined? Why don't
- 10:28you set up a fund for them? You're giving out
- 10:30all your money, right, giving it all to charity. This
- 10:32seems like a pretty noble act. Call that shit, the
- 10:35Bill Gates Reparations Fund. Put your money where your mouth
- 10:38is for once, Bill Gates. The Gates Foundation previously announced
- 10:45it had commissioned an external review of the philanthropy's passed
- 10:48ties with Epstein. The foundation said it expected that its
- 10:52board and management would receive an update about the review
- 10:56this summer. Oh, nothing like an internal review, right, Oh,
- 10:59we got a different law firm though, to take a
- 11:01look at it. What you don't trust that? No, I
- 11:04don't Okay, I don't trust it. Look at the decord report,
- 11:08look at what happened up and Yale, I mean, just
- 11:11a bunch of nonsense time and time again. And the
- 11:13gigantic monkey in the room, of course, is the OIG
- 11:17report into Jeffrey Epstein's death and the NPA Honestly, I
- 11:21don't pay any mind to internal reports. Berkshire Hathaway chairman
- 11:29Warren Buffett, a long time friend of Gates, told c
- 11:32NBC's Becky Quick in late March that he had not
- 11:35spoken to the Microsoft co founder since the whole thing
- 11:38with the Epstein files was unveiled. I don't want to
- 11:41be in a position where I know things to be
- 11:43called to the witness, Buffett said. I think until it
- 11:46gets cleared up, it doesn't make sense to do a
- 11:49lot of talking. Warren Buffett is shrewd. This is one
- 11:52smart m ever and you notice he's not caught up
- 11:57in any of this. Right, smart man Buffett called epsteina
- 12:03khman who exploited the weaknesses of other people. Men are
- 12:06going to like sex, and some of them are going
- 12:09to like not paying taxes, and he figured out their weaknesses,
- 12:12Buffett said. Buffett has donated more than forty three billion
- 12:17to the Gates Foundation since two thousand and six. That's
- 12:21quite a few dollars. Huh. Imagine that shit. Forty three
- 12:24billion dollars. And I wonder where that money has been
- 12:26dispersed to. I wonder if the people who needed it
- 12:29the most received it. I doubt it. I mean, I'm
- 12:33sure some of it got to where it was supposed
- 12:34to go, but how much did these executives get? How
- 12:38much did all the middle men get? And forty three
- 12:40billion dollars? Well, that goes a long ass way, right,
- 12:44And if you're Warren Buffett, the last thing you want
- 12:45to do is be associated with any of this. So
- 12:49I'm not shocked to hear that he wants nothing to
- 12:50do with Bill Gates right now and that he's not
- 12:53even talking to him. So we'll see what Bill Gates
- 12:55has to say for himself later on today and after
- 12:58the congressional hearing, we'll get a recap going, and we'll
- 13:01get that added to the catalog. All the information that
- 13:04goes with this episode can be found in the description
