- 1:57Speaker 1: boy the Triple B alongside William himself Live in the Flesh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: Handsome Joe Berelli from the Mountains of the Catskills. Yes, sir,
- 2:11Speaker 1: what's up, Joe?
- 2:12Speaker 2: How are you?
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:15Speaker 2: This feels weird, it does, but I respect it because
- 2:19Speaker 2: when we pre recorded this on a couple of days
- 2:22Speaker 2: ago and we were talking after, We're like, you know,
- 2:26Speaker 2: it was an hour and a half and we always
- 2:30Speaker 2: premiere at seven pm. What if we went live after
- 2:33Speaker 2: and like had an after party and just show up
- 2:36Speaker 2: with the homies and talked about a fascinating interview with
- 2:42Speaker 2: John Banister. I hope everyone enjoyed it. And we were like,
- 2:46Speaker 2: let's do it.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Absolutely And you know, this this podcast that we just
- 2:54Speaker 1: did for you, it's very thick with facts and opinions
- 3:03Speaker 1: and some speculation on our part, you know, But I
- 3:12Speaker 1: thought it was fascinating to get an actual member of
- 3:16Speaker 1: Guy Banister's family here on the show and get their
- 3:19Speaker 1: perspective on things. And again I highly recommend everyone go
- 3:27Speaker 1: check out her podcast, Keletons in the Closet Family Secrets
- 3:32Speaker 1: You can listen to it anywhere you listen to podcasts
- 3:34Speaker 1: except here. But we're gonna help her get get her
- 3:38Speaker 1: thing up on YouTube. And like I said, season two
- 3:42Speaker 1: should be coming around the first of the year, and
- 3:44Speaker 1: she's working on a true crime podcast which should be
- 3:48Speaker 1: as equally as fascinating. And you know, her sure sounds great.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It sounds really well produced. She prepares and I can't
- 3:58Speaker 1: say no good things about it. I love listen to it,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and you know, we hope you guys enjoyed the show immensely.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But like I said, there's a lot to unpack here,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and we're gonna get to some things. And first of all,
- 4:16Speaker 1: let's see I came across Joe a biographical sketch of
- 4:23Speaker 1: Guy Banister that he actually wrote.
- 4:26Speaker 2: What's a biographical sketch for?
- 4:29Speaker 1: I don't know, but here is I think I still
- 4:34Speaker 1: have it saved. This is the first page of it,
- 4:43Speaker 1: so he starts it off. You know. I was born
- 4:45Speaker 1: in a log cabin in Caldwell Parish on March seventh,
- 4:50Speaker 1: nineteen oh one, the son of William Henry Banister and
- 4:52Speaker 1: Aileen Gregory Banister, the oldest of seven children. I was
- 4:58Speaker 1: educated in the public schools of louis Siana and attended
- 5:01Speaker 1: Louisiana State University and Soule College of New Orleans. So
- 5:07Speaker 1: I thought. I thought Janet mentioned that the guy was
- 5:11Speaker 1: possibly the last agent that didn't have a college degree
- 5:16Speaker 1: excepted into the FBI. Yes, he says here he did it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He attended two separate colleges, but maybe he didn't. He
- 5:26Speaker 1: might not have finished graduate.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah. So Janet was graciously in the chat today for
- 5:33Speaker 2: our premiere and they were talking about LSU, and she
- 5:38Speaker 2: did say that someone had asked a question he did
- 5:42Speaker 2: not fill finish l s U. I'm not sure what
- 5:44Speaker 2: other colleges you're talking about, but I would bet my
- 5:49Speaker 2: bottom dollar that she's accurate on that and that he well.
- 5:55Speaker 2: She actually prefaced it by saying she wasn't sure if
- 5:59Speaker 2: he was the actual last FBI agent to be hired
- 6:03Speaker 2: without a college degree. But I'm pretty sure he didn't.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I think he might have attended Warner School, one or
- 6:11Speaker 2: two schools. But that just goes to the talent of
- 6:17Speaker 2: the young guy.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Banister right, Yeah, says the beginning of my career as
- 6:22Speaker 1: an investigator was with the Monroe, Louisiana State Police Department.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I received an appointment as a patrolman in December of
- 6:29Speaker 1: nineteen twenty nine. Two weeks later, the Superintendent of police
- 6:33Speaker 1: asked me to take a course in stenography, that's typing,
- 6:38Speaker 1: after which he would assign me to his office as
- 6:40Speaker 1: his secretary with the pay of a sergeant. This was
- 6:44Speaker 1: done at the end of six months from the date
- 6:45Speaker 1: of my first appointment. Six months later, the superintendent died
- 6:49Speaker 1: and I was assigned duties that made me actually the
- 6:51Speaker 1: chief of Detectives. On November fifth, nineteen thirty four, I
- 6:56Speaker 1: was sworn in as Special Agent Division of Investigation, US
- 7:00Speaker 1: Department of Justice. The name of this organization was changed
- 7:05Speaker 1: a short time later to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- 7:12Speaker 1: May of thirty eight, I was promoted to the position
- 7:16Speaker 1: which now bears the title of Assistant Special Agent in
- 7:18Speaker 1: Charge and assigned to Newark, New Jersey. Let's see made
- 7:23Speaker 1: to August. Three months after that, I was promoted to
- 7:26Speaker 1: the office of Special Agent in Charge and assigned to
- 7:28Speaker 1: the Butte, Montana office. This occurred less than four years
- 7:33Speaker 1: and the date I entered on duty with the FBI.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I served in this position until my retirement on December
- 7:40Speaker 1: thirty first, nineteen fifty four. But he's jumping ahead in
- 7:45Speaker 1: time here a little bit, because he says I served
- 7:48Speaker 1: in the Butte Division until October forty one. Then he
- 7:52Speaker 1: was transferred to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he stayed until
- 7:55Speaker 1: November of forty three, and then he was transferred back
- 7:59Speaker 1: to the Butte Division. In September fifty two, I was
- 8:03Speaker 1: transferred to the Minneapolis Division. I remained until the last
- 8:07Speaker 1: of December fifty three, when I was transferred to the Chicago,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Illinois Division. I remained there until the date of my retirement.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I have been informed that up to the time of
- 8:20Speaker 1: my retirement, I had served longer in the position of
- 8:23Speaker 1: Special Agent in Charge than any other person in the FBI,
- 8:28Speaker 1: a period of nearly seventeen years. Wow After retirement, I
- 8:35Speaker 1: joined or I accepted an imitation from Mayor to Sleps
- 8:38Speaker 1: Morrison to join the New Orleans Police Department with the
- 8:42Speaker 1: assignment of cleaning up the police organized graft system. This
- 8:48Speaker 1: period was from fifty five to fifty seven. Many officers
- 8:51Speaker 1: were indicted, Some were tried and convicted in different courts
- 8:55Speaker 1: as the cases were prepared for federal or state Section action.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Sorry others were removed from office and their civil service Mission.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Cases of malfeasance were prepared and submitted to the Orleans
- 9:12Speaker 1: Parish Grand Jury against Mayor Morrison, Superintendent of Police Provacy A. Dairies,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and District Attorney Leon Hewart. The cases were tried in
- 9:22Speaker 1: quote before the grand jury, but no indictments were returned. Joe,
- 9:29Speaker 1: so he actually went after the guy that brought him
- 9:30Speaker 1: to New Orleans.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, And Janet covers that I believe in one
- 9:37Speaker 2: of her last episodes, the New.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Orleans PD and the District Attorney.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so the guy the guy above him for sure.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And it seems to me that after listening to the episode,
- 9:51Speaker 2: that guy was hired to investigate corruption in the New
- 9:57Speaker 2: Orleans Police Department. And I don't know if they expected
- 10:02Speaker 2: him to do a good job, because he did, and
- 10:06Speaker 2: he ended up charging like ten officers, like a dozen sergeants,
- 10:11Speaker 2: and eventually the Mayor Morrison and the guy Davies who
- 10:17Speaker 2: who was ahead of guy. He was making a lot
- 10:22Speaker 2: of trouble and reminds me Rob of the Wire when
- 10:26Speaker 2: the first season they were trying to they put this
- 10:30Speaker 2: unit together to get this drug dealer, and once they
- 10:34Speaker 2: got him, they started finding out where the money was
- 10:36Speaker 2: going and was going to politicians and like all of
- 10:39Speaker 2: a sudden, investigation shut down and everyone transferred to like
- 10:46Speaker 2: evidence collection, like the boat all these.
- 10:50Speaker 1: If he did mention guys inability to properly read the room,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you don't go after you know, you don't ship where
- 10:57Speaker 1: you eat, You don't go after the guy that brought
- 10:59Speaker 1: you there, what I'm saying, And yeah, he did, so
- 11:04Speaker 1: he did. He did that essentially put a target on
- 11:07Speaker 1: his back.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah, And there's a lot of newspaper articles she referenced
- 11:12Speaker 2: throughout that time period that, uh, some were in favor
- 11:17Speaker 2: of guys, some were anti guy, And she read some
- 11:20Speaker 2: of his death threats that he was getting theoretically from
- 11:25Speaker 2: people in the NPD that he was probably investigating. I mean,
- 11:28Speaker 2: they were like, you're not gonna be able to get
- 11:30Speaker 2: around anywhere. We're gonna find you, like he's And this
- 11:37Speaker 2: is what I learned from this podcast, much more complex
- 11:41Speaker 2: character than I had ever thought, right, Yeah, just because listen,
- 11:49Speaker 2: I and and I'm newer at the JFK assassination than
- 11:53Speaker 2: you are. But it seems that the the overall consensus
- 11:58Speaker 2: is Guy Banister like he had some relationship with Oswald.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Therefore he was a conspirator or whatever. But it's just
- 12:08Speaker 2: it goes much deeper than that. And this, this podcast
- 12:11Speaker 2: really goes into Guy and who he was and I
- 12:16Speaker 2: can't say enough good things about it.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Robs also, yeah, you have like six barbers over there.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You're gushing like a little schoolgirl. I know.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Well, hey, I mean.
- 12:27Speaker 1: It's great. I mean go listen, go subscribe, go share,
- 12:32Speaker 1: go like yes, you know, that's all we can tell
- 12:36Speaker 1: you to do.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And listen to the episodes in order because it really
- 12:42Speaker 2: adds the context continues.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So since February of nineteen and fifty eight, I have
- 12:48Speaker 1: been engaged as a private investigator and criminologist and as
- 12:52Speaker 1: president a Guy Banister Associates, Incorporated. I'm also president of
- 12:57Speaker 1: Employer Security Systems. I am organized at this time a
- 13:01Speaker 1: family real estate corporation. While serving with the FBI a
- 13:09Speaker 1: Special Agent in Charge, I supervised the investigative work of
- 13:12Speaker 1: several hundred special agents and administer the affairs of the
- 13:15Speaker 1: division Under my command. The investigations could be and were
- 13:20Speaker 1: made in cases involving some one hundred and forty federal laws,
- 13:23Speaker 1: including anti trust laws, bankruptcy, bank defalcations, bank robbery, extortion, kidnapping, murder, treason, sponis, sambotage,
- 13:34Speaker 1: and subversive activities. As a part of my duties, I
- 13:38Speaker 1: was supervising the training of thousands of local law enforcement officers.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I introduced an innovation in law enforcement training. Major universities
- 13:47Speaker 1: were brought into the work, not as is done in Louisiana,
- 13:51Speaker 1: where the university apparently takes the lead in establishing the
- 13:56Speaker 1: curriculum standards to be met, selection of instructures, but the
- 14:00Speaker 1: training courses were prepared by me. This was done by
- 14:04Speaker 1: being accepted as a member of the teaching staff, and
- 14:07Speaker 1: the universities concerned were Idaho, the Greater University of Montana,
- 14:13Speaker 1: University of South Dakota, and the University Joe of Minnesota,
- 14:19Speaker 1: where a boy John T. Martin went.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and there's a very interesting story about a brush
- 14:28Speaker 2: up guy allegedly had with Hubert Humphrey and I guess
- 14:34Speaker 2: he was a senator at the time, and the mayor
- 14:37Speaker 2: or mayor elect I think his name is Freeman. Don't
- 14:40Speaker 2: quote me on that. We're asking Hoover, what's up with
- 14:44Speaker 2: this banister guy? Like they were inquiring about him, and
- 14:49Speaker 2: John I gets into this in her podcast and she's
- 14:52Speaker 2: like why he was let go from the FBI not
- 14:56Speaker 2: long after that, and she wondered what he did to
- 15:01Speaker 2: kind of piss the politicians off and fascinating. I it's
- 15:08Speaker 2: just something I remember from the podcast, So who knows, Alright.
- 15:14Speaker 1: He goes on to say, I'm a communicant of the
- 15:17Speaker 1: Baptist Church and have served as a church moderator, a deacon, trustee,
- 15:21Speaker 1: and Sunday school teacher. What would you do if your
- 15:24Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher was Guy Banister, Joe.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I would probably pepper him with a ton of questions.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I'd probably try to infiltrate him and get as much
- 15:40Speaker 2: information as I could live in hindsight.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Right, And there's something I didn't ask her about on
- 15:46Speaker 1: the show that I wanted to, and it has to
- 15:49Speaker 1: do with Guy Banister's tombstone because it doesn't have an
- 15:55Speaker 1: FBI insigney on it, it doesn't have a badge on it.
- 16:00Speaker 1: What it has on it is a Freemason symbol. Okay, yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 1: you know the old all the Freemasonry conspiracies, and yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm aware. But he goes into it here. He says,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I am a past master of Graham Schergner Lodge number three,
- 16:24Speaker 1: eight three F and A M. Monroe, Louisiana. I still
- 16:29Speaker 1: hold my membership there to this day. I am a
- 16:32Speaker 1: member of the Scottish Rite and of Jerusalem Temple, New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So Guy Banister was high up in the Masons.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Do we know what?
- 16:48Speaker 7: Uh?
- 16:49Speaker 2: How high up? Would you say? Something? Five?
- 16:53Speaker 1: He said he was a past master, a past of
- 16:56Speaker 1: Graham Surgner Lodge number three eight three. I don't know
- 17:00Speaker 1: what level you got to be at to be a master,
- 17:03Speaker 1: but I'm guessing it's pretty high. And then he's also
- 17:05Speaker 1: a member of the Scottish Rite and the Jerusalem Temple
- 17:09Speaker 1: in New Orleans, Louisiana. So Wow'd be a good question
- 17:17Speaker 1: for next time we talked to her. He says, I
- 17:20Speaker 1: am married to the former Mary Wortham of Oak Groves, Louisiana,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and we have one daughter, missus Donald du Vio, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: we have three grandsons. My only living brother is Dee
- 17:32Speaker 1: Ross Banister, general counsel lawyer for the Louisiana State Highway Department.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yea, my brother on your screen here as guy on
- 17:45Speaker 2: your right, his wife Mary, and his daughter. What did
- 17:50Speaker 2: you say her name was?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Again, said Missus Donald du vio.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yes, so I wanted to share this picture as well.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I'm sorry to interrupts her, lovely.
- 18:04Speaker 1: My only living brother is Roath Banster. My mother miss
- 18:07Speaker 1: his alien. Banster still resides in the family home I
- 18:10Speaker 1: grew up in in Monroe. So that is Guy Banster's
- 18:14Speaker 1: biographical sketch. And I have no idea when or why
- 18:18Speaker 1: he did this, but I found it.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And that's really interesting because, like I think I said
- 18:27Speaker 2: at the end of the episode, you know, he died
- 18:29Speaker 2: in sixty four, right when the warrant commission was kind
- 18:33Speaker 2: of just getting going. He obviously wasn't available during the
- 18:38Speaker 2: Grison investigation, and we did cover some of his possible
- 18:44Speaker 2: relationship with Garrison. They were both ex FBI guys. Famously
- 18:49Speaker 2: in the JFK movie, Garrison said, Oh, I used to
- 18:54Speaker 2: have lunch with Guy Bonis, you know, And that's plausible
- 19:00Speaker 2: to me.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I think it's highly likely they knew each other for sure,
- 19:04Speaker 1: both former FBI. Yeah, about the same age. Well, I
- 19:09Speaker 1: guess Guy would have been a little older.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Let's do no, I mean you would have It's very
- 19:16Speaker 2: plausible to have like a couple of times a year
- 19:20Speaker 2: lunch with a with a colleague, right that's not you know,
- 19:24Speaker 2: it's not out of the rome possibilities. It's not also
- 19:27Speaker 2: conspiratorial either, it's just likely. You know.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Sorry, my mic was muted. Uncle Dave says masters is
- 19:44Speaker 1: a third degree, but you know.
- 19:47Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 19:49Speaker 1: It's not very high.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I'm sorry thirty two freemasons. I'm sorry, I was I
- 20:00Speaker 2: was thinking, Okay, yeah, I mean, you know, the Freemason
- 20:06Speaker 2: thing is is interesting to me. But yeah, I don't
- 20:12Speaker 2: know how much weight to put in it. I just
- 20:13Speaker 2: don't know, honestly.
- 20:15Speaker 1: All I know is it's on his tombstone, and you know,
- 20:18Speaker 1: it just seemed odd. Yeah. And another another thing that
- 20:24Speaker 1: we didn't really get into with Janet because it's it's
- 20:27Speaker 1: kind of weird to talk to somebody. I mean, I
- 20:29Speaker 1: guess it's so far removed from her lineage. I mean
- 20:33Speaker 1: it's not like mm hmm that bad. But I did
- 20:38Speaker 1: come across the autopsy of Guy Banister and it's very interesting.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Are you ready for this, Joe?
- 20:47Speaker 2: I am ready?
- 20:50Speaker 1: All right?
- 20:51Speaker 6: H m hmm.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Okay. So the first before we get into the actual autopsy.
- 21:09Speaker 1: In nineteen seventy eight for the HSCA, our buddy Robert
- 21:14Speaker 1: Burris went and talked to somebody, Joe. They went and
- 21:24Speaker 1: interviewed the undertaker. Was was that the layman Lamana Funeral Home.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The basic call is listed in the book for his
- 21:40Speaker 1: death is coronary thrombosis myocardial infarction, which is a big
- 21:49Speaker 1: word for heart attack. Right. Yeah. The undertaker was the
- 21:56Speaker 1: Lamana Funeral Home and the medical examiner owner at the
- 21:59Speaker 1: time was doctor Nicholas Chetta. Now you might recognize that
- 22:02Speaker 1: name because he is the guy that administered sodium pentanol
- 22:08Speaker 1: to Perry Russo for the Garrison investigation.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Wait, okay, I did not know that he did the autopsy.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'm Banister.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's the.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Same person that's doing the truth serum.
- 22:25Speaker 1: To I believe he also did David Ferries.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Autopsy, but on behalf of the truth serum, on behalf
- 22:34Speaker 2: of Banister Garrison. I'm sorry, right, yeah, would later that, right, Okay?
- 22:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:44Speaker 1: A copy of the autopsy protocol was obtained and the
- 22:46Speaker 1: cover sheet is the first set of numbers referred to above.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It states William Guy Banister, aged sixty three, white male,
- 22:57Speaker 1: died at eight pm on June sixth, nineteen sixty four.
- 23:01Speaker 1: He was posted at six thirty am June seven, sixty four.
- 23:05Speaker 1: The final diagnosis is number one coronary thrombosis anterior descending
- 23:11Speaker 1: branch of left coronary artery, Number two recent and old
- 23:16Speaker 1: myocardial infarction, a left ventricral number three hypertrophy of the
- 23:21Speaker 1: art of the heart, and number four acute poland pulmonary
- 23:26Speaker 1: edema in congestion bilateral. The classification of death was natural.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It was attended to and signed by Nicholas Chetta, MD,
- 23:36Speaker 1: corner and the post mortem was actually done by Charles Wascombe, Junior,
- 23:42Speaker 1: MD pathologist. The examination of the protocol reveals that the
- 23:46Speaker 1: heart showed a slight enlargement and the serial sectioning of
- 23:51Speaker 1: the cardiovascular system shows a one centimeter gray white area
- 23:57Speaker 1: indicating a relatively recent occlusion to the anterior descending branch
- 24:01Speaker 1: of the left coronary, which is indicated indicative of a
- 24:05Speaker 1: recent heart malfunction or heart attack. A copy of this
- 24:10Speaker 1: protocol was obtained and is attached to this report. Yeah
- 24:16Speaker 1: SO final diagnosis coronary thrombosis, anterior descending branch of left
- 24:24Speaker 1: cornary artery, recent and old myocardion function, left intricral hypertrophy
- 24:29Speaker 1: of heart, acute pulmonary edema and congestion bilateral that mean
- 24:34Speaker 1: you had calaged arteries as well. External examination, the body
- 24:40Speaker 1: is that of a well developed, slightly obese white male
- 24:44Speaker 1: appearing the stated age of sixty three. The body shows
- 24:48Speaker 1: the head to be covered with an abundant growth of
- 24:50Speaker 1: graying hair. Several small red splotches are present over the
- 24:55Speaker 1: right forehead, the largest measuring one centimeter. The corneas are
- 24:59Speaker 1: slightly open, the peoples around regular and equal. A yellowish
- 25:04Speaker 1: muchoid material is excuting freely from the nose. No abnormal
- 25:09Speaker 1: fluid is noted coming from the ears. The mouth is
- 25:12Speaker 1: dentalists dental plates are in place. There is no hyperd
- 25:16Speaker 1: mobility noted to the neck. No other marks or scars
- 25:19Speaker 1: or noted. Rigor mortis is not noted. Liver mortars is
- 25:22Speaker 1: present over the posterior dependent portions of the shoulders and
- 25:25Speaker 1: the buttocks, as well as the anterior left lateral chest
- 25:29Speaker 1: and the anterior lateral portion of the left flank. The
- 25:32Speaker 1: external examination is otherwise not remarkable. The body is opened
- 25:38Speaker 1: up with the usual Altissi incision. The organs are present
- 25:41Speaker 1: in their normal locations. No abnormal collections of fluid are
- 25:44Speaker 1: present in the body. So I'm not going to go
- 25:47Speaker 1: into this because it's, uh, you know, it's pretty gruesome.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I mean, not really gruesome. It's just you know, nobody
- 25:56Speaker 1: wants to hear this shit, you know what I mean.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Well, the chat has really good to handle on this here, sir,
- 26:03Speaker 2: And you know, we have clogged arteries. Hypoth thurnach is
- 26:11Speaker 2: a large tissue. It wasn't his well I don't know
- 26:17Speaker 2: if it was his first heart attack, but Janet in
- 26:20Speaker 2: the podcast series talks about his previous strokes in the
- 26:24Speaker 2: mid fifties.
- 26:26Speaker 1: So you're talking about what she thought were strokes, and
- 26:27Speaker 1: we're gonna get there because they do examine the brain.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Okay, so, but but yes, it wasn't his first medical issue.
- 26:37Speaker 2: He wasn't the most healthy guy.
- 26:39Speaker 1: So so we get to the central nervous system. The
- 26:44Speaker 1: scalp is reflected in the usual manner, and there's no
- 26:47Speaker 1: hemorrhage or other abnormalities. Abnormalities noted. The calvarium is removed.
- 26:54Speaker 1: The brain in situes shows no abnormalities. The brain weighs
- 26:59Speaker 1: fit team forty grams. The circle of Willis shows moderately
- 27:04Speaker 1: severe are theo's glaotic plaquing without obstruction, whatever the hell
- 27:13Speaker 1: that means. The external surface of the brain shows no
- 27:16Speaker 1: or abnormalities. There is no evidence of fracture when the
- 27:20Speaker 1: dura is stripped from the base of the skull. So
- 27:24Speaker 1: what it sounds to me is that his brain looks okay.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I know, I don't know what happens to the brain
- 27:32Speaker 1: when you have a stroke or how they can tell.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Maybe somebody can enlighten us in the chat. I don't know,
- 27:43Speaker 1: but according to the offside of his brain looks good.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Could have just been a heart maybe possibly liver drinker.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Who else? Well, they said his liver. I forgot. I
- 28:05Speaker 1: forgot to mention his liver. Let's see what they said
- 28:06Speaker 1: about his livery liver weight nineteen eighty grams. The gallbladder
- 28:17Speaker 1: is slightly and large and contains an abundant amount of
- 28:19Speaker 1: yellowish clear bow bio. The extra hepatic bilary tract is
- 28:25Speaker 1: not included. The surface of smooth and reddish purple in
- 28:28Speaker 1: color on cut section. The parentema is a homo genius
- 28:33Speaker 1: color without abnormal markings. So, I mean, is liver according
- 28:38Speaker 1: to this look pretty pretty good? I gain nothing crazy
- 28:44Speaker 1: going on there?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you asked Rob and our chat has responded.
- 28:49Speaker 2: So Dave said, sclerosis is a hard ending of tissue.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Bungled said a bleedin our rocket queen. It means his
- 29:02Speaker 2: veins were enclosed. A stroke is a blood clot in
- 29:05Speaker 2: the brain, and tiny dancer us steriosis don't.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Mean Yeah, so arterio like artery sclerosis. There, arterio sclerosis
- 29:20Speaker 1: leads to the stroke. So if it wasn't present, then
- 29:23Speaker 1: maybe he didn't have one. It's quite possible. Yeah, maybe
- 29:26Speaker 1: they just thought he did. Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I think it's it's pretty evident that there were health issues, right.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I don't think that's debatable. And I know Banister is
- 29:44Speaker 2: on that the list of suspicious deaths, and I'm not sure.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I think the reason he might be on it is
- 29:54Speaker 2: because of the timing of his death, right, real bad
- 29:57Speaker 2: timing man, Right, the Warren Commission, like mid sixty four,
- 30:04Speaker 2: June sixty four, I think you said.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Because nobody got to talk to him about this the
- 30:09Speaker 1: Warren Commission. He was totally off the radar for this. Yeah,
- 30:14Speaker 1: and he wasn't around anymore when Garrison came sniffing around, so.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Right, he had to go to a ferry and then
- 30:21Speaker 2: that it's a little suck and pan out right. Yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 2: And it's it's really interesting because I was thinking, you
- 30:30Speaker 2: know Warren Debris, right, I think Garrison really Debris. I
- 30:36Speaker 2: think Garrison tried to call him and they use some
- 30:40Speaker 2: type of like what they used for like presidential exception,
- 30:45Speaker 2: like I'm the president, I can't get charge for this.
- 30:48Speaker 2: He was like investigating or so.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I don't think didn't he get a hold of read
- 30:53Speaker 1: is Kennedy.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Garrison?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe I'm misremembering. You may be right.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I'm just saying I was reading recently that Debris used
- 31:06Speaker 2: that exception to not get called for whatever, you know reason.
- 31:12Speaker 2: And of course he is one of the more suss
- 31:14Speaker 2: FBI agents that was allegedly running Oswalt like or Respania
- 31:20Speaker 2: had had said, but he has seen him together. But
- 31:27Speaker 2: going back, I just I'm not sure if Banister is
- 31:32Speaker 2: a suspicious death because you have to think, what's the point, right,
- 31:38Speaker 2: What's like, what's the point of killing him, say in
- 31:42Speaker 2: nineteen sixty four so he would get called to the
- 31:45Speaker 2: Warm Commission. I don't think he was go to get
- 31:48Speaker 2: called anyway. It's interesting to think about, and I don't
- 31:55Speaker 2: know the answer, right, I'm looking here with you. I
- 31:58Speaker 2: don't know. I don't see an obvious reason to knock
- 32:04Speaker 2: him off. And it seems like he had health issues
- 32:09Speaker 2: for you know, a decade previous to that, right in
- 32:13Speaker 2: the mid fifties where he had that alleged brain damage
- 32:16Speaker 2: that we had talked about with Janet, right from the
- 32:19Speaker 2: stroke and the surgery or whatever. So interesting to think
- 32:27Speaker 2: about for sure.
- 32:29Speaker 1: For sure. Then it came across something else, Joe, and
- 32:34Speaker 1: we talked about this guy a little a little couple
- 32:36Speaker 1: of shows ago, William go up Debt right, the CIA
- 32:41Speaker 1: asset in New Orleans who got his passport right right.
- 32:47Speaker 1: He was in the line right behind Oswald when Oswald
- 32:49Speaker 1: got his passport into New Mexico or tow Mexico in
- 32:55Speaker 1: New Orleans. And this guy was a CIA asset, and
- 33:00Speaker 1: they I think they talked to him for the Warrant Commission,
- 33:04Speaker 1: and they definitely talked to him for the HSCA, which
- 33:09Speaker 1: is what I have here, which is interesting.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I remember.
- 33:16Speaker 1: So they tracked down William Gaudett in nineteen seventy eight
- 33:19Speaker 1: at his house in Waveland, Mississippi. Harold Leap and Robert
- 33:25Speaker 1: Burris interviewed William Gaudett at his residence at eleven oh
- 33:30Speaker 1: one Aken Road, Waveland, Mississippi, relative to the assassination of
- 33:34Speaker 1: John Kennedy. When Leipan Burris arrived at the Gaudet residence
- 33:39Speaker 1: for the pre arranged interview, Gaudett had Waveland Chief of
- 33:42Speaker 1: Police Donald Dorn present for the purpose of verification of
- 33:47Speaker 1: our credentials. This guy wasn't messing around. Okay, this is
- 33:53Speaker 1: the old school. Cia said. He has the TIFA police.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Probably his buddy checked the HSCA investigators' credentials when they
- 34:03Speaker 1: showed up at his house where a pre arranged meeting.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's some balls, but okay, yes, sir. When
- 34:13Speaker 1: Dorn was satisfied the credentials were authentic, he left the
- 34:18Speaker 1: Gaudet residence. Cardett started the interview by stating that somebody
- 34:24Speaker 1: was using him as a quote red herring to divert
- 34:27Speaker 1: investigators from the people who were involved with the Lee
- 34:30Speaker 1: Harvey Oswald and the assassination of JFK. Calldette furthers plain
- 34:35Speaker 1: that he did not believe that Lee Harvey Oswald committed
- 34:37Speaker 1: the crime by himself, and the unknown conspirators were putting
- 34:42Speaker 1: him under the spotlight for some unknown reason. Cardett said
- 34:46Speaker 1: there could be no other explanation, as some unknown individual
- 34:49Speaker 1: called the FBI after the assassination using Calldett's name and
- 34:53Speaker 1: reported that he saw Jack Ruby in the French Quarter
- 34:57Speaker 1: of New Orleans buying an art painting from an art
- 35:00Speaker 1: dealer prior to the assassination. Called that said he never
- 35:04Speaker 1: called the FBI and did not know Jack Ruby prior
- 35:07Speaker 1: to Ruby killing Lee Harvey Oswald. But we do know
- 35:12Speaker 1: that Jack Ruby did travel to New Orleans, and maybe
- 35:17Speaker 1: he bought a painting somewhere. Who the hell knows. So
- 35:22Speaker 1: the question gubbed out a little bit more and they
- 35:24Speaker 1: asked him if he knew the following people. His responses
- 35:29Speaker 1: were as follows, I guess who the number one person
- 35:32Speaker 1: They asked him about Joe.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Jack Martin.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Come on man, we talking about here. Yes, I'm sorry
- 35:43Speaker 1: you the price is wrong, Joe.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Happy, Joe Brelli, come on down.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You are the next contestant on the price is wrong, bitch.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Uh Happy Gun two coming out.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Now, said that Bob Barker will not be in.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It, No, but it will be epict continue sir.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Maybe he'll be there in AI for him.
- 36:13Speaker 2: You never know.
- 36:17Speaker 1: So they asked him about Guy Banister, and he says, quote, yes,
- 36:21Speaker 1: I worked with him. My work with Banister was not
- 36:26Speaker 1: Cee I directed, though however it did involve anti cast activity.
- 36:32Speaker 1: There was a lot of anti cast activity in New
- 36:34Speaker 1: Orleans at the time. Question did Guy Banister know Lee
- 36:42Speaker 1: Harvey Oswald? Answer yes, I personally observed Guy Banister talking
- 36:50Speaker 1: to Lee Harvey Oswald in front of the International Trademark. However,
- 36:55Speaker 1: I don't know what they were talking about.
- 36:59Speaker 2: H not the only person who was said.
- 37:04Speaker 1: That, yeah, one of the thirteen. Yeah. They asked if
- 37:10Speaker 1: he knew Louis Rebel, No, Bernie de Tourres, no, Orlando Bosch.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I believe I worked with him in Costa Rica. Sergey
- 37:18Speaker 1: you are conscious? Smith answer yes, he's a liar who
- 37:22Speaker 1: gave me a lot of trouble concerning a documentary film
- 37:25Speaker 1: which I helped produce. Carlos Brigney answer yes. Did some
- 37:30Speaker 1: CIA work together?
- 37:34Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Maurice Bishop no. George la Mornshield answer yes, but I
- 37:41Speaker 1: don't remember how. Philip Harbin answer yes, but I don't
- 37:48Speaker 1: remember how I. Howard Hunt answer don't want to talk
- 37:52Speaker 1: about it. And then in parentheses it says gaud that
- 38:00Speaker 1: later in the interview, changed his mind and gave some
- 38:02Speaker 1: information as reported. I guess we haven't got there yet.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Do you recover? Do you recall ever seeing him talk
- 38:12Speaker 1: to people whom you knew?
- 38:14Speaker 6: Yes, well, not.
- 38:16Speaker 1: People who I knew, but who I knew who they were.
- 38:19Speaker 1: The one individual that is outstanding above all others is
- 38:22Speaker 1: Guy Banister, who I did personally know, who had been
- 38:24Speaker 1: a law enforcement officer, and who was involved in some
- 38:28Speaker 1: new activities in connection with the Cubans in New Orleans.
- 38:32Speaker 1: What they were, I don't know. I saw him in
- 38:34Speaker 1: deep conversation with Lee Harvey Oswald on Camp Street, right
- 38:39Speaker 1: by the post office. They were leaning over and talking,
- 38:43Speaker 1: and it was an earnest conversation. What it was I
- 38:46Speaker 1: don't know. Question did Banister and os won't appear to
- 38:50Speaker 1: know each other? Answer obviously, Question they did not appear
- 38:55Speaker 1: to be strangers talking on the spur of the moment.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Answer No. Seemed to me the guy Banister wanted Oswald
- 39:02Speaker 1: to do something. This is the way it seemed to me.
- 39:05Speaker 1: The only other part I know about Oswald is that
- 39:07Speaker 1: I do know that he did go and make a
- 39:09Speaker 1: radio contact with a friend of mine named Junior Butler
- 39:14Speaker 1: or Ed Butler. Ed Butler was his name, but this
- 39:17Speaker 1: guy knew him as junior. I knew his father because
- 39:20Speaker 1: he was involved in a thing which was supported by
- 39:23Speaker 1: something entitled Information Council of the Americas or INCA, which
- 39:28Speaker 1: was a nonprofit party making interviews which were then shipped
- 39:33Speaker 1: by South America. I know he made a radio interview.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I recall hearing it, but I don't recall something about
- 39:42Speaker 1: it that's interesting. William called that, and then I came
- 39:54Speaker 1: across this looking for a date. Yeah, it's data January
- 40:01Speaker 1: twenty fourth, nineteen sixty one. It is an FBI memo,
- 40:08Speaker 1: this thing from the Special Agent in Charge New Orleans
- 40:11Speaker 1: to the director j Edkahova Covah code named Sugar Bretches,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and it has to do with the Fronte Revolutionaryo Democratic
- 40:27Speaker 1: Goal the FRD. During the course of your authorized interview
- 40:34Speaker 1: with former Special Agent in Charge Guy Banister, you should
- 40:38Speaker 1: also interview him concerning his ledge connection with the Friends
- 40:41Speaker 1: of Democratic Cuba. Note regarding the memo Dona Hugh to
- 40:47Speaker 1: Belmont January seventeen sixty one noted that former SAC Guy
- 40:53Speaker 1: Banister reportedly was connected with Maurice Gatlin, who heads the
- 40:58Speaker 1: Anti Communist Committee of the Amiric Gatlin's mental instability appears
- 41:03Speaker 1: to have been well established, and he has been reported
- 41:05Speaker 1: by one source as insane. We instructed New Orleans to
- 41:10Speaker 1: interview a. Banister to clarify his connection, if any, with
- 41:13Speaker 1: Gatlin's organization. On January twenty sixty one, New Orleans advised
- 41:18Speaker 1: that had received information indicating that Banister was on the
- 41:20Speaker 1: board of directors directors of the Friends of Democratic Cuba.
- 41:25Speaker 1: This organization reportedly is controlled by the Front, a Revolutionary
- 41:29Speaker 1: Democratico and anti Castro organization which is receiving the covert
- 41:33Speaker 1: support of the CIA. Joe. And this is an FBI
- 41:41Speaker 1: memo from nineteen sixty one, and they knew then that
- 41:46Speaker 1: the CIA was funding these anti Caster of Cuban groups.
- 41:54Speaker 1: That's hella interesting, hella interesting.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Yes, sir, and Banister was it was a few years
- 42:06Speaker 2: away from he had been away from from the FBI
- 42:10Speaker 2: since like the mid fifties, I believe, so even more interesting. Yeah,
- 42:16Speaker 2: as who scooped him up type of thing, and who
- 42:19Speaker 2: used his ability to get information on alleged communists or
- 42:29Speaker 2: communist sympathizers, And.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I see fascinating, fascinating stuff. But I think that's
- 42:43Speaker 1: about it for documents we get into. I got a
- 42:46Speaker 1: whole stack of Save that part of the show. But
- 42:52Speaker 1: let's check in with our people, Joe and see what
- 42:55Speaker 1: what we got going on down here, and say hi
- 42:57Speaker 1: to some people before we get into some emails.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Sounds good.
- 43:07Speaker 1: There's a new name Asteroid coming. Any dancers in the
- 43:12Speaker 1: house pub the chain bunkled Gardening Rocket Queen is here.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Uncle Yeah, Gardening guns Slacker, Dan, Richard Hawkins, James.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Gregg, and uh mister Mike, and I want to say,
- 43:40Speaker 2: send your prayers out to Mike. He just lost a
- 43:44Speaker 2: close friend of his. I believe her name was Donna
- 43:49Speaker 2: yesterday and somewhat unexpected. So you know, life throws us
- 43:58Speaker 2: crazy shit.
- 43:59Speaker 1: So uh yeah, every ready to keep micing your thoughts
- 44:02Speaker 1: and prayers and send him some folks. He's one of
- 44:09Speaker 1: the good guys. Mm hmm, all right, Joseph, if you're
- 44:18Speaker 1: ready to get into some emails. It's been a while
- 44:21Speaker 1: since we dipped our hand in the old bag here
- 44:23Speaker 1: at the Longoming Podcast.
- 44:25Speaker 2: As your sack full, my sack is bulging. Have you
- 44:30Speaker 2: been saving your sack?
- 44:33Speaker 1: I have been edging for like three years or three months. However,
- 44:38Speaker 1: long it's been. Jarah loves it when I talk dirty,
- 44:50Speaker 1: all right, I love it. Let's see here.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Right out of my alley, sir.
- 44:56Speaker 1: All right, I think we'll start here. This is an
- 45:02Speaker 1: email from Backcountry Drifter and okay, we're gonna skip this
- 45:16Speaker 1: one because it's like eight pages long and it's all
- 45:24Speaker 1: about I mean, I'll just read you the first paragraph
- 45:28Speaker 1: and you'll know why we're not going to read any
- 45:29Speaker 1: more of it. Okay, know how you doing? It just
- 45:35Speaker 1: jumps right into it when you rewind and see the
- 45:38Speaker 1: formation of Mega Study Group as a front for the
- 45:40Speaker 1: Zionist MAFI in the early eighties, and how Brompan went
- 45:43Speaker 1: to Russia to put most of the clip optims see
- 45:46Speaker 1: components in the play be for the Suviet Union broke down.
- 45:49Speaker 1: They started using Epstein and Trump a lot of the
- 45:50Speaker 1: money stolen during Peristroika using commercial real estate. It starts
- 45:54Speaker 1: the timeline back almost a century.
- 45:58Speaker 2: You lost me.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's about eight pages of it, so I mean,
- 46:05Speaker 1: thanks Backcountry Drifter for for sending that. But uh yeah,
- 46:10Speaker 1: in case you don't listen to kids, Rob hates long
- 46:15Speaker 1: ass emails, yep and big words. Bastard, don't do that
- 46:22Speaker 1: cut right to the chase please, m.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Hm mm hmm. And Hi Sally, did we say hi
- 46:31Speaker 2: to Sally? Is very late for her right now? So
- 46:37Speaker 2: I respect that.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Well, No, she's she's three hours behind us. You said,
- 46:43Speaker 1: waits six twenty one. Wait on the West coast. You
- 46:48Speaker 1: said she's an Oregon.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Oh, I thought she was in Britain.
- 46:53Speaker 1: No, Sally's in Britain. Where are you? Just Sally? You said, Saleen.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I'm sorry, colle, they're next to each other. But I
- 47:03Speaker 2: meant to say, Hi, Sally. I know Sally is I know.
- 47:08Speaker 1: This Sally's a night out? You leave her alone?
- 47:11Speaker 2: Well, I'm complimenting her, sir. See, Sally just said it's
- 47:21Speaker 2: two twenty one am here.
- 47:24Speaker 1: So now, as you get plenty of of very informative
- 47:32Speaker 1: and crazy emails from Tiny Dancer here and there, so
- 47:40Speaker 1: let's dive into this one, Joe, okay, And it has
- 47:45Speaker 1: to do with a little bit of what did and
- 47:50Speaker 1: this is concerning the authenticity of the Zapruger film and
- 47:57Speaker 1: Chris Gyallup, who was apparently on the Ocellia, got into
- 48:02Speaker 1: it a little bit. He says, back in sixty three,
- 48:04Speaker 1: the only people that had the technology to cut, Splice, Animate,
- 48:07Speaker 1: and phil voids on film was Walt Disney. They were
- 48:11Speaker 1: the animation specialists. Walt Disney wasn't working for the CIA
- 48:15Speaker 1: in sixty three, and I've seen no evidence that Walt
- 48:17Speaker 1: Disney worked for the CIA or in any way was
- 48:19Speaker 1: involved in the alteration of the Bruder film, the same
- 48:23Speaker 1: film that Abraham's Bruder took the Afternoon Kennedy died as
- 48:27Speaker 1: the same film we have today. So this is Chris
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yallop's opinion. Now, I like Chris. He's a good dude.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I met him when I was in Dallas, so I'm
- 48:35Speaker 1: not gonna totally cut him off with the knees, but
- 48:41Speaker 1: big butt because I like big butts and I cannot lie.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Walt Disney was not the only person as a corporation
- 48:52Speaker 1: that had the technology.
- 48:53Speaker 6: To do this.
- 48:54Speaker 1: In nineteen sixty three. They were Have you heard of
- 49:04Speaker 1: Vanilla Skies, Joe, Yes, where they were altering pictures and
- 49:14Speaker 1: films going way back back to the eighteen sixties. Yeah,
- 49:19Speaker 1: where they would wipe out the sky for whatever reason. Yeah,
- 49:26Speaker 1: they had the ability to mask using like etchings on glass.
- 49:31Speaker 1: This is I mean, this goes back to the eighteen hundreds,
- 49:34Speaker 1: like there's a famous picture. Excuse me, let me see
- 49:38Speaker 1: if I can find it real quick, Joe, because this
- 49:43Speaker 1: is gonna blow your mind. They were doing photoshop basically
- 49:55Speaker 1: back in the middle eighteen hundreds, and it was pretty good.
- 50:02Speaker 1: So if they could do it back then, I'm sure
- 50:08Speaker 1: they could do it now.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Now that's safe assumption. Yes.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Now hold on, let me go back here, and I'm
- 50:16Speaker 1: gonna share my screen just to show you and all
- 50:21Speaker 1: the people how how they did this back then. Let's
- 50:26Speaker 1: see chef screen. Yeah, I got it. Boom.
- 50:36Speaker 6: Check this out, Joe.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Mkay.
- 50:39Speaker 6: Okay.
- 50:40Speaker 1: So on the left is the original picture. Okay, mm hmmm.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I don't know who it is. Uh, some random dunk.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I don't know who it is. Okay, Now the photo
- 50:59Speaker 1: on the it has been masked to be turned into
- 51:05Speaker 1: Abraham Lincoln.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Masked. What do you mean.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Yeah, means they basically masked his face and hair onto there, Okay,
- 51:25Speaker 1: somehow because the picture was taken back and like I said,
- 51:29Speaker 1: in the middle eighteen hundreds, they didn't have film back then. Yeah,
- 51:33Speaker 1: so they used they used the way to take the photographs.
- 51:40Speaker 1: It was done on like an impression of glass, I think,
- 51:43Speaker 1: and then they could manipulate the photo using etchings and
- 51:49Speaker 1: and you know something else, like because they stuff to
- 51:53Speaker 1: sit there for like twenty minutes to develop a picture
- 51:56Speaker 1: like on the glass. Like it wasn't you just took
- 51:59Speaker 1: their picture. They had to sit there for a while
- 52:01Speaker 1: and not move for like twenty minutes to get a
- 52:05Speaker 1: good decent image, you know, to show up. But they've
- 52:10Speaker 1: been doing this shit for years and years, you know,
- 52:17Speaker 1: so it's nothing new. And if this was being done
- 52:20Speaker 1: in the middle eighteen hundreds, you know, they were definitely
- 52:26Speaker 1: probably doing it. They could do it one hundred years
- 52:30Speaker 1: later in the nineteen sixties pretty good if And I'm
- 52:34Speaker 1: not saying that the Z film was doctored in any way,
- 52:38Speaker 1: but I'm saying they definitely it wasn't just Disney that
- 52:41Speaker 1: had the technology. This stuff has been around for one
- 52:45Speaker 1: hundred years before the jfk assassination.
- 52:48Speaker 2: So yeah, sorry, I'm sure you heard Ruby.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Give it a little using it Ruby.
- 53:04Speaker 2: This is Ruby. We decided to name her Ruby.
- 53:08Speaker 1: I did.
- 53:10Speaker 2: She's cute and she responds to Ruby, and she was
- 53:16Speaker 2: barking for I don't know why. So I'm sorry that
- 53:21Speaker 2: I interrupted you, sir, but for continuation purposes, I wanted
- 53:27Speaker 2: to say a Ruby wanted to say, Hi, lone Gouvernment
- 53:32Speaker 2: podcast crew, Sorry for barking. All right, all right, I guess.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Oh Ruby, give her a bone, Joe, she has one,
- 53:54Speaker 1: Give her a big bone. Okay, I'm trying to find
- 54:02Speaker 1: this and me, well, I hold this up here.
- 54:07Speaker 2: I rescued her from China, so she has some trauma
- 54:13Speaker 2: for sure, but she is a cute girl and we
- 54:18Speaker 2: are hanging up here in the Casco Mountains. So sorry again, Ruby,
- 54:23Speaker 2: Oh thank you South the West. It's so cute. Right,
- 54:31Speaker 2: all right, Joe, check this out on mascot.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Now, I have no idea who sent this to us,
- 54:37Speaker 1: because the email name was nothing but a bunch of numbers. Okay,
- 54:40Speaker 1: So they basically said, I heard the name Roswell Thompson
- 54:46Speaker 1: on one of your early podcasts, a Roswell Thompson being
- 54:49Speaker 1: from Louisiana, and never hearing of him. I searched newspapers
- 54:52Speaker 1: dot com and this article popped up, and it's a
- 54:54Speaker 1: connection with Thomas Beckham. I thought you would like to
- 54:57Speaker 1: see it, and I do to see this. So this
- 55:01Speaker 1: is May fourteenth, nineteen fifty nine, Gretton to Louisiana, the
- 55:04Speaker 1: West Bank Herald, and if you can read the caption,
- 55:09Speaker 1: it says Tommy left and Sonny Beckham with Kingfish Roswell Thompson.
- 55:17Speaker 1: They'll give governor's race a new beat. So that little
- 55:22Speaker 1: grin and douche on the left is Thomas Beckham, a
- 55:27Speaker 1: Roswell Thompson, a may oriole candidate for New Orleans. And
- 55:34Speaker 1: I believe I opened the KKK or the Nazi Party.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I think it was the Nazi Party. But that's Thomas
- 55:44Speaker 1: Beckham and his brother Sonny. And apparently while this guy
- 55:49Speaker 1: was kicked excuse me, campaigning for governor in Louisiana, he
- 55:57Speaker 1: used to bring these two sweet little boys with him
- 56:00Speaker 1: and they used to a cappella sing as entertainment. Which
- 56:07Speaker 1: is interesting because you know, even as much as eight
- 56:11Speaker 1: years later, from the time of this photo to the
- 56:16Speaker 1: time of the Garrison Grand Jury, A Roswell Thompson was
- 56:23Speaker 1: right by Thomas Beckham's side. Despite all of the trouble
- 56:28Speaker 1: that Thomas Beckham had gotten into, all of the cons
- 56:31Speaker 1: and all the trouble and all the arrest and all
- 56:33Speaker 1: the check bouncing, this guy stood by his side, guy
- 56:38Speaker 1: who desperately wanted to be a governor. So interesting stuff
- 56:44Speaker 1: there for sure, So thank you for that. I always
- 56:47Speaker 1: like seeing cool stuff like that. Let's see, we can't
- 56:56Speaker 1: give that one away yet, Joe.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Thank you, Gregory. Yeah, fish and uh jam band fan
- 57:05Speaker 2: and dog fan.
- 57:09Speaker 1: She's gotten a little.
- 57:12Speaker 2: High maintenance.
- 57:14Speaker 1: But yeah, see you by your girlfriend didn't want to
- 57:18Speaker 1: be around here.
- 57:21Speaker 2: I am an exile like the Cuban exiles.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I am. Joe is relegated to the to the country house,
- 57:29Speaker 1: so get the hell out of the apartment.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Hey, I am more than fine with that.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Believe man, easy.
- 57:38Speaker 2: She won't listen to this far deep in the podcast
- 57:40Speaker 2: if at all, you never know you know true.
- 57:48Speaker 1: So then we got an email from our buddy Paul. Hey, Robin, Joe,
- 57:52Speaker 1: in your last episode, you brought up the attorney representing
- 57:54Speaker 1: Marguerite Oswald with King Candy. That law firm represents a
- 57:58Speaker 1: case I'm researching in the jfk assassination. I was planning
- 58:01Speaker 1: on doing your die. No, no, no, I'm sorry. McKenzie
- 58:06Speaker 1: was Marina's later.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Lawyer, not McKenzie.
- 58:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry. No. I believe Joe has ancestry like I do,
- 58:16Speaker 1: so I'm going to suggest following up on the two attorneys.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Kelly Porter Jacobs born five thirty, nineteen twenty in Kansas,
- 58:23Speaker 1: spent time in Texas. Check out his background after representing Marguerite.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Joe Clarence Marlin Spurlock eight thirty one, nineteen ten. He's
- 58:33Speaker 1: the first. He's the first, as his son and grandson
- 58:37Speaker 1: have his name. His son even became a judge like
- 58:40Speaker 1: he did. Take a gander after his first wife died
- 58:44Speaker 1: and who he married in seventy eight, which is in
- 58:47Speaker 1: the attached article, which we'll get to in a second.
- 58:50Speaker 1: And then Denning Chatman, a lawyer who represented a business
- 58:55Speaker 1: I'm researching on the jfk assassination. Haven't got to it yet.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Interesting stuff if you dig a little on the attorney's
- 59:02Speaker 1: in the Enjoyor show and God bless Paul. So let's
- 59:07Speaker 1: open this up here and see what is going on here. Okay, So,
- 59:12Speaker 1: Joe Spurlock, an attorney, will give an address entitled International
- 59:17Speaker 1: Espionage for members of the Phi Sigma MoU Chapter five
- 59:25Speaker 1: eight seven pm Tuesday in the Mahogany Room of the
- 59:29Speaker 1: Elks Club. During World War Two, Spurlock served as a
- 59:33Speaker 1: security intelligence course and traveled extensively in his behalf. He
- 59:37Speaker 1: has retained his interest in the subject of an international
- 59:40Speaker 1: espionage and widely known as a speaker and writer in
- 59:42Speaker 1: this field. He was a State commander of the American
- 59:46Speaker 1: Legion in nineteen forty nine and has been active in
- 59:49Speaker 1: that organization throughout his history. He will be introduced by
- 59:52Speaker 1: Missus Clary's Lottimore, chairman in charge of the program. Interesting. Yeah,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: that they got a lawyer from Marguerite who's interested in
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the international espionage basically what her son is accused of doing. Interesting, yeah,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: all right, so let's move on. Apparently he had another
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: It's supposed to contain two attachments. We only got one,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: but here's the second one. Monica Hanky Basil Spurlock. There
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: was a widow of Justice Joe Spurlock of Fort Worth,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: passed away peacefully Saturday May thirty of two thousand and nine.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: So who was this lady? Born Monica Lera Rudolphina Katherina
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Hanky in Vienna, Austria, the daughter of Baron and Baroness
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: rudolph Hanky. The girl was schooled at the College of
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Young Girls in Cannes, France. She immigrated and thirty three
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to the United States through the port of New York,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: joining her mother Baroness Kathanina von akosm Hanky a fashion
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: designer who was with the House of Levin and later
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: had her own label. In her early years in New York,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Monica designed hats, at one time working with Lily Dash.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: She later owned and ran her own millinery shop and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: was a buyer for a New York Ruin's clothing store.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: She became a naturalized citizen in nineteen forty three while
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: serving in a sensitive War service appointment to the United
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: States Office of Censorship during World War II. Her first
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: marriage was mister Amos Basil, attorney at law, practicing New York,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: in nineteen forty two. D In nineteen seventy eight, Monica
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: married Justice Joe Spurlock Senior, but he were of Clariss
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Clarice Locke, fort Worth's first city council woman. She moved
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: to Fort Worth and remained there after Judge Spurlock's death
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: in nineteen eighty nine, becoming the well loved matriarch of
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: his family. She was interested in politics, blah blah blah
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: blahh trying to jump and see if anything something interesting
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: here that would jump out at me. She made a
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: photographic safari trip to Africa, an archaeological dig in Israel,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: an American Goodwill ambassador, trip to Russia, and many times
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: traveled to the Balkans, Mexico, Asia, Caribbean. Huh interesting, So
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: what are you trying to say, Phil, that she was
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: a spook? Paul, I don't know, quite possible for Hilly.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: So uh yeah, there's a couple of emails we got
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: from some listeners. Nothing too crazy, well the crazy ones.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I should have caught that first one.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Well, I respect your process. You don't just uh pre
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: read the emails and just you know, get rid of
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: them just because they're crazy.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Well, sometimes they do well with.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Quick hits you.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Uh, I don't even open the mail bag till day
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: of But this one's a little different because I have
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: corresponds with so many people that it's not really they're
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: not really asking questions. It's just feeding me information and right,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: you know, sharing things, which hey, I encourage everybody to
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: do the lung Guma podcast at gmail dot com if
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you would like to too, and Sally says we could
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: do video questions next time. Send in video questions. Absolutely
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: so definitely do that. I'm not sure how we could
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: get them as most I don't know if most videos
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: are over twenty five megabytes, because that's pretty much all
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you can send through email, Yeah, unless you send it
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: some other way like a link to for to a
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: drive or something.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Or yeah, Facebook messenger, like just audio question two right that.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: I think we've been able to play some of those
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: in the past, right.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Yeah, audio or video questions. That'd be cool if you
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: can figure out a way to get them to the
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Lone Guming Podcast at gmail dot com. We'll definitely we'll
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: throw you up here on screen whether us and let's
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: talk to the people. And I think that'd be cool, yep.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: And that's why, after we've recorded the show a couple
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: of days ago with Janet, we are here talking to
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: our our base, our loyal listeners.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: And I thought, Robbie, before I got through the whole sentence,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I thought, Robbie said, I'm going to send pics of
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: my hug, but it says my dog Sheiba. So thankfully
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: it didn't go the way I thought it was gonna go.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: And yes, Greg, I am the man.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, sir, I can't argue with that.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: And you know I had a.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: And you know, Rob, like I had a bunch of
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: questions written down for Janet as well that we didn't
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: get to and because we gapped like six Barbers.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: And see enough Dix on Twitter, thank you.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and talked about like a lot of other random things,
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: we didn't get to all of our questions, which is
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: why at the end, I, you know, offer her to
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: come back on. She's obviously going to have another. I
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: think it's her second season. I'm not sure how she's
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: doing it.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: But.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: It's going to focus more on JFK or Guy Banister
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: in the JFK assassination. And I'm just really excited. I
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: was so happy with that episode in interviews and when
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: we could.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Talk to her for like three or four hours, you
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: know what I mean, easily. Yeah, She's definitely a natural.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think it was her first like guest
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: podcast appearance. Maybe I haven't heard another, but I mean
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: she was like, she was amazing. She was a little
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: like nervous of how it came out, but I was
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: like it was great.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Yeah, coming from someone who had some pretty terrible initial
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: podcast episodes.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: You know, go back ten years and listen to the
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: first fifty shows. Yeah, you know, but that's cringe worthy. Yeah,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I mean look, Joe, our show has been around for
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: ten years. Her show has been around for two months,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and it sounds ten times better than the show sounded.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: It's so slickly produced and it just sounds great. And
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: she's a.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Great podcast voice. I mean, it's it just like kind
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: of lulls you, right. But she's also very honest, objective,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: and that's kind of towards the title Skeletons in your Closet, right,
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: She's she's kind of going head on with with the
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: premise that, like her, her uncle was a very I
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: think she used the word complicated figure, right, and she's objectively.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Could be could be worse. I mean you could find out,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: like you know, your great uncle was Bundy or some
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: weird ship like that, you know what I mean, Like
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: it could be worse to be related to some notorious person,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: and she she she got a pretty good one to
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: be related to, you.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Know, yeah for sure. And we never heard i mean,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: we didn't get an interview with Guy Banister in his life.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: We we haven't heard from anyone in his family. So
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: it's it's refreshing almost.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, because go back and Jane's Dan actually knew him. Okay,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Guy Banister was his uncle. Yeah, you know, growing up,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: he met him, he was around him, so he actually
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: knew Guy Banister and his brother Ross. Yeah, that that
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: that those were his uncles, you know. Yeah, so she
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: had to have his unique perspective. He's still alive and
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: to be able to interview him and the fact that
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: he's sharp enough to remember things is awesome.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and his uh, he has a few audio clips
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: in her episodes. And I think I said this at
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: the end, and it's it's brave too to kind of
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: take that head on, like what was my uncle? And
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: like I said in our interview, you know, there's the
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: view of Guy Banister from the JFK movie, and there's
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: the view of the Banister from their family, and of
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: course you have to take that objectively, but he fell
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: somewhere in the middle of that, right, those portrayals, And
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: if we didn't have people like her coming out and
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: exploring their family history, we would just be subject to
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: what we knew him in the JFK movie, right, which
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: honestly probably isn't that realistic, like somewhat, but you know
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: what I mean, Like, we need people like this to
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: come out and not with depth. Deathbed confessions and trying
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: to make money not mentioning any names. Sorry, you know
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Like, well, I think one thing that I don't know
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: if we mentioned it in the podcast, but when I
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: talked to her before that, she had mentioned, you know that,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: because I kind of asked her, you know, is this
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: like a one and done type thing or what's your plans?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: And apparently guy banished is not the only notorious person
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: in her family that she's related to. But I don't
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: know if she has plans to go into this other
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: thing or if she's possibly going to be telling other
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: people's stories, you know, for them.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I think so, I think she.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Like somebody on the par of like, you know, if
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: she could track down like Rachel Oswald and tell her story,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: that'd be crazy. There's a big suggestion, Janet, if you're
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: listening June or Rachel Oswald or you know Robert Oswald's kids.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I saw there was like one of Robert's sons's name,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: his grandson's his named Trey Oswald. It was in his obituary,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you know, so you know, and yes, I already looked
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: on Facebook people and I couldn't find him. But you know,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: something like that, you know, it would be fascinating to
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: like find out. Yeah, and we.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Can't like deter people and ancestors, even if they're a
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: niece or whatever, from exploring family history because the alternative
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: is no context and us going off the JFK movie
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: or the things.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: We heard pure speculation. You know. Yeah, we got documents.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: We can go by the documents. I got guy man
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: his own biography, but I'd much rather hear it from yeah,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you know, somebody else, and you know, especially from the
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: perspective as part of her family. You know, it's just
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: it's just crazy, man, it is so I found her.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: You are the goat for doing that. When you told me,
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: I was like, what, Yeah, you and I have kept
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: it extremely under wraps in the past couple of weeks
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: and because we wanted to bring it it to you
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: exclusively to the TLG crew that that tunes in every week,
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: and uh, you know, I can't again, I can't recommend
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: her her podcasts and enough listen to it from one
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: to nine, don't skip and just understand, try to forget
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: your biases of who you think Guy Banister is or was,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: or what role he has. I don't know. I'm still
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: debating like I'm not saying.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: We didn't. We didn't even go into our theory that
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: General Walker sent John T. Martin to go talk to
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: him and she sent him to go film Miles Wall. YadA, YadA, YadA. Yeah,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: we didn't go down because I told her we're not
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: kooky conspiracy theorists, which we're not. We have good reason
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: to think these things.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think we're pretty reasonable to be honest,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: especially when you consider the other fooz is out there.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: But we are hopefully going to have her on again.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: We had a great conversation, We had a great time.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: She's gonna come out with another season that's going to
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: be focused on Guy Banish and more of the JFK stuff.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: What happened to the files?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: She hasn't even gotten to the good juicy stuff yet.
- 1:14:45Speaker 6: Yeah, you know exactly.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: That's why I'm surprised that she came on and was
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: answering all of our questions about it is. Yeah, she's
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: gonna put ten ten episodes together for that part of
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: his life. Yeah, she's gonna be deep down in some
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: rabbit holes herself here in the next Yeah, a few months,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: And you know, I trust me, I know how it is.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Having a job, having kids and trying to dive into
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: this and produce something at you know, a weekly basis,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and it's a lot of work. So I hope she
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: sticks with it, and yeah, we would definitely be looking
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: forward to her stuff for sure. Yeah. I don't know
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: the Dean and Andrews had any kids, but maybe he
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: had brothers and sisters and had kids. Who knows.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: I do not know, sir. I have no idea. I mean,
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: I can't thinking of it. I'm like, maybe he didn't
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: have kids, but what do I know.
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: Who Dean and Andrews.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, oh maybe he did. Hell, I don't know.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Well, I'm saying because of his alleged.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Preferences, Dean Andrews went homosexual.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Maybe you think he was.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: I wasn't that he was.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: No, he just crazy.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: That was job talking, man.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: See I always see that's that's actually and.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: That's not like gay lingo.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not listen. I I don't care of making
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: myself an idiot.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: But he's swift, you know.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: It always seemed like that, right. No, No, well, well
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: that goes to the bias of what we.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: What we all have.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: I have listened to for a long time and in
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: this assassination, I mean, how could you not think he was.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Really yeah, Okay, I never got that inkling out off
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: of Dean Andrews bro.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Really Okay, maybe I'm just like losing my mind. It's late,
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: but I assumed he was.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: No.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: So that's that's exactly what we're talking about, right, Like
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: people's just type of understanding of things can differ in
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: a lot of ways. And we hope that the Janet
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: banished her interview with us, and if you listen to
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: her podcast will help clear some up on what Guy
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Banister was like and we can move a little closer.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: To yeah, because like I said in the show, he
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: was right in the middle of it, everything going on
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: in New Orleans. He knew all the people from David Ferry,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you know, to Clay Shawl, to all the anti cast Cubans,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: to all these other people that have been in and
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: out of his office, you know, Dalzel, David Lewis, you
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: know it, just the list goes on and on and on,
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: the people that saw Oswald in that office. And if
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you can believe what Delphine says, the reason she changed
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: her story later to the HSCA is because during the
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Garrison investigators. She was scared to tell the truth because
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Banister had died. She thought maybe there was something suspicious
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: to that David Ferry had just died, so she decided
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: not to say anything, much like Thomas Beckham decided not
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: to say anything to Garrison. But by the time the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: HSCA rolls around, they changed their story, right, So it's possible. Possible.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I guess that was just a
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: wrong assumption on my part.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: And uh, you're still talking about that, Joe, I've been
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: changed the subject.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: It's just it's just blowing my mind.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: What the Dean Andrews is not gay? Yeah, it's not gay.
- 1:19:26Speaker 7: In Parttish Prison, he did not talk for the record,
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: but he said, come to Bourbon Street and I'll show
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: you what I think of the case.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Does this look like a gay man to you, Joe?
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: In Parttish Prison, he did not talk for the record,
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: but he said, come to Bourbon Street and I'll show you.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Do you Come to Bourbon Street and I'll show you
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: big boy kind of? I mean, I don't know anyway, folks,

- 1:21:29Speaker 7: Peace poodles in Patty's prison. He did not talk for
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: the record, but he said, come to Bourbon Street and
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: I'll show you what I think of the case. The
- 1:22:05Speaker 7: greatest lies are told in the name of truth. The
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: greatest crimes are committed in the name of justice. The
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: quotation is Jim Garrison's. It could be used for him
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: or against him in this strange case.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: Good night, What are you doing, Joe.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Doing the same thing.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Oh no, I wasn't.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: Yes, you were
