- 3:24Western Conference Finals tied 1 to 1.
- 3:26The Spurs and the Thunder tied one to one in their Western
- 3:30Conference Finals matchup. After the Spurs won game one,
- 3:33the Thunder won Game 2. The Spurs won game one in
- 3:36overtime, led by Webbing Yama well that had 41 points in 24
- 3:39rebounds. He became the first player with
- 3:42a 40 and 20 game in the NBA playoffs since Shaquille Neil
- 3:46and the youngest player ever to record that stat line.
- 3:49The Spurs also contained NBA and VP Shay Gilchrist Alexander,
- 3:54holding him to just 7 for 23 shooting in that game.
- 3:59The Thunder bounce back in game number 2122 to 113, led by SGA
- 4:04scoring 30 points on 12 for 24 shooting and six other Thunder
- 4:11players scored in double digits. Isaiah Harnstein stepped up big
- 4:15after struggling in game one, finishing with a double double
- 4:18and holding Wemby to just four points in four in the fourth
- 4:22quarter. When he was primary, he was a
- 4:25primary defender. Jalen Williams left the game in
- 4:29the first quarter with hamstring tightness and did not return,
- 4:33and D Aaron Fox has also yet to play in the series as he
- 4:37recovers from an ankle injury. Both players Game 3 statuses are
- 4:43still unknown. I will say this, this series is
- 4:46going seven games. I expect this series to go all
- 4:49the way to the grind of the 7th game And and and and obviously
- 4:55we all know OK C has homecourt advantage.
- 4:57They were the best team in the NBA webbing.
- 5:00Yama is the best player in this series.
- 5:02He is the best player in the series.
- 5:03As good as Shay is, Wemby does everything for his team,
- 5:07Everything for his team. He's a defender, he's a
- 5:10rebounder, he's a passer, he's a shooter.
- 5:12He could play point center. We he's one of the best ball
- 5:15handler, ball handlers in this series.
- 5:18Everything Webbie Yama does for his team, and we saw it in game
- 5:21#2 Webbie Yama was not on like he was in game #1 because they,
- 5:26they sat him a lot in the first half.
- 5:29They they really gave the ball to Castle.
- 5:32Castle was running the offense when he wasn't in and, and
- 5:35Castle's a good player. Some of the, the baskets that he
- 5:38made and some of the dunks that he made were fun, electrifying.
- 5:41He's a good young player. It was a great fine by OK C
- 5:45Dylan Harper going down is a significant loss, a significant
- 5:49loss. And Dylan Harper, what we're
- 5:51hearing about his hamstring is he might be out a significant
- 5:55amount of time. So if Dylan Harper doesn't come
- 5:57back, you're going to have to get more from the secondary
- 6:01players when Benyama is going to have to play even harder.
- 6:04Shay Shay is is a great player. We all know he can take over a
- 6:07game. He's an offensive phenomenon.
- 6:10He is as good of a offensive option in the NBA.
- 6:13Here's the problem, when Shay is not playing at a high level, his
- 6:17team does not get enough secondary offense.
- 6:20We saw that in game #1 and if Jalen Williams is not healthy,
- 6:24which he has not been, even last year, he was on and off.
- 6:27He couldn't stay healthy. He played a big factor in the in
- 6:31the championship games against Indiana, but it really was Hal
- 6:35Burton versus Shay. And that's what it was.
- 6:38It's different now and the Western Conference, and you can
- 6:40see it in his face after game #1 Shay was not happy.
- 6:44He spoke to the media. He really had no answer about
- 6:46webbing Yama when he was trying, when the media was asking how do
- 6:49you stop this guy? How do you stop this guy?
- 6:51He's almost impossible to stop. He's 7 foot five.
- 6:54He can move as fast as a point guard.
- 6:56He can dribble just like a point guard.
- 6:58He can shoot like a shooting guard.
- 7:00The guy's almost impossible to defend.
- 7:02And if he gets into the paint, he doesn't even have to jump.
- 7:05He just has to let the ball go, hook shot whatever he needs to
- 7:08do, bank it off the boards. He is an amazing player.
- 7:11He's a great player. The only thing that worries me
- 7:13about webbing Yama in his career is is the blood clots and
- 7:17injury. We've seen a lot of big men in
- 7:19this league as they get older, their ankles go, they feet go.
- 7:23There's a lot of torque on their feet and their toes.
- 7:25We've seen it and we can go back in time of some of the the, the
- 7:29different things and different injuries we've seen with toes
- 7:31and and feet. That's what worries me, worries
- 7:34me about webbing Yama. Now, Kendrick Perkins said
- 7:36something very, very interesting, which I completely
- 7:39disagree. He was on a show on ESPN and I
- 7:44popped it on and they were talking about LeBron James, what
- 7:47LeBron James has done in the last 20 years and what Michael
- 7:50Jordan did and Kobe Bryant. And he put LeBron and Michael
- 7:54Jordan as the 2 greatest basketball players of all the
- 7:56time. He said that in 20 years we're
- 7:59going to put webbing Yama in that same conversation.
- 8:03And the reason why I would disagree with him is not because
- 8:05webbing Yama isn't special, that he's not great.
- 8:08He's a big man. And I'm not going to compare a
- 8:11big man and it's good. And I'll say this, LeBron James
- 8:14is not the same guard position as Michael Jordan with their
- 8:17different positions, Lebrons more of a three than he is of a
- 8:22two or one. All right, so we all understand
- 8:24it's more like a Magic Johnson. But when you're comparing and
- 8:26contrasting talented players if their generation, Webbing Yaman
- 8:31might not even be the best player of his generation.
- 8:34We don't know what he's going to be.
- 8:35So Kendrick Perkins saying right now at the age of 2122 that
- 8:39webbing Yama is going to be considered Michael Jordan and
- 8:42LeBron James is ludicrous. It's crazy to say something like
- 8:45that. It doesn't mean that he can't be
- 8:47that. And I'm not saying it to all the
- 8:49fans that webbing Yama can't be one of the great players of our
- 8:53generation. But here's the here's the crazy
- 8:55thing. When we watch the big men in the
- 8:5890s and the 80s, OK, there were a lot of good ones.
- 9:01Robert Parish was a great big man, OK, he was great.
- 9:04Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a great big man, athletically gifted,
- 9:08one of the best scorers we've ever seen.
- 9:10And then we go into the 90s. Come on, guys.
- 9:13We had Patrick Ewig, we've had David Robertson, Hakeem
- 9:18Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan.
- 9:21We could go on and on and on to the bigs.
- 9:23Now it's different. Obviously they're more athletic.
- 9:27There's a it's a completely different style of basketball
- 9:30game. We understand that and webbing.
- 9:32Yama is the new charge of big man in the NBA.
- 9:35The the turn off here when it comes to this series is we're
- 9:39watching two of the best young players in the NBA.
- 9:41They're great, they're great to watch.
- 9:43We're watching you can argue probably the top three-point
- 9:46guard in the league. He was two time MVPI disagree
- 9:49with it as everybody knows my argument, but he is a two time
- 9:52MVP back-to-back years and you look at webbing Yama, he hasn't
- 9:56won a championship, but he's defensive player of the year.
- 9:58So we know what he can do on the basketball court offensively and
- 10:01defensively. When I look at these teams, OK C
- 10:04was a better team than they were last year.
- 10:07They were a much better team than they were last year.
- 10:09And the reason why is obviously with the team, the injuries and
- 10:13and the probe of the team, that doesn't mean that OK C can't win
- 10:16back-to-back championships. Golden State did it, the Chicago
- 10:20Bulls did it. Teams could do that.
- 10:23But here's the thing. When you look at Golden State,
- 10:25when they did it, when you look at the talent that Golden State
- 10:28had, you're looking at Kevin Durant, you're looking at Steph
- 10:33Curry, you're looking at Klay Thompson at the top of his game
- 10:38and Draymond Green. These guys are all Hall of
- 10:41farmers. If you look at this team right
- 10:43now, you're looking at Caruso. Caruso's having a great series.
- 10:46I'm not taking away this guy was a second round draft pick.
- 10:49The LA Lakers decided to pass on him.
- 10:52OK, Is he having a great series? Is he a great defensive player,
- 10:56two way player? He's good.
- 10:57He's good. He's a good player.
- 10:59Is he an elite player? No.
- 11:00He's not going to average 30 points a game every single game
- 11:04of this series and anybody that thinks that way is an idiot.
- 11:07Anybody that thinks that way is a complete moron because he is
- 11:12not that type of player. He's a two way player, second
- 11:15round draft pick who can play 2 dimensional basketball, but he's
- 11:18more of a six man off the bench. You're not going to get that
- 11:21kind of offense. What because Jalen Williams is
- 11:23hurt. It's amazing what he's doing
- 11:25right now and I got to give the coaching staff a lot of credit
- 11:29with OKC. But if OKC thinks that if they
- 11:33get through this series, and if it is the Knicks or even if it's
- 11:35the Cavaliers, it's probably not going to be the Cavaliers
- 11:38because we know the depth that they have.
- 11:39But let's say it's the Knicks. I'm not going to jinx them, but
- 11:42let's say it's the Knicks. What we have seen with OK C over
- 11:46the last two seasons is growth and, and, and they've stayed
- 11:50healthy, fairly healthy throughout the playoffs.
- 11:54They're not healthy right now and the Spurs are not healthy
- 11:57right now. Dylan Harper, That's a massive
- 12:00loss. You could say whatever and stop
- 12:02with the Aaron Fox. The Aaron Fox hasn't played in a
- 12:05series in the last two of them. He played a what?
- 12:08What? The first the first game in the
- 12:10last series or the second? Game he got hurt in game five
- 12:12he. Didn't play a lot and now he's
- 12:15going to. They're saying he might not be
- 12:17back next game. He might miss another game after
- 12:19this. Darren Fox not has.
- 12:21It's not just two ankle, it's not just one ankle.
- 12:24It's two ankles, his left and his right ankle.
- 12:27It hurt. If you watched him play when he
- 12:29was playing, he was wearing 2 ankle braces on both legs.
- 12:34So what does that tell you? This guy is his game is
- 12:38practically going to the hole, doing his doing, going to the
- 12:41hole, drawing fouls and being that that that point guard
- 12:45option. Now you lose him, and you lose
- 12:47the Who's the point guard Who's playing point webbing Yama?
- 12:51Is that what you're going to bet on?
- 12:52Webbing Yama Castle? Castle's not a point guard.
- 12:55He's a three. Player You asked who's playing,
- 12:57you didn't say who's the. Point who's gonna have to either
- 13:00move? Kelvin Johnson probably, or the
- 13:02other kid McLaughlin that was getting time.
- 13:04You're going to sell me that. If you think you're going to
- 13:05sell me that, you're out of your damn mind because.
- 13:07I'm trying to sell you that you don't never believe anything I.
- 13:10Say no. I do believe for some of the
- 13:12things you say, some of the stuff you say is bogus and
- 13:14absolutely crazy. But that's.
- 13:15What I love about you, right that's.
- 13:16No, no, no, you're just out of your damn freaking.
- 13:18Mind. That's what I love about you.
- 13:20But I the fact here is I look at the OKC Thunder and I look at
- 13:25the Spurs, if they were at full strength, yeah, I I mean, it's
- 13:28going to be hard for a team like the Knicks to play them.
- 13:30They're not going to be a full strength.
- 13:32Even if Dylan Harper comes back, even if Jalen Williams comes
- 13:35back, they're not going to be 100%.
- 13:37They're not. So I, I, there's an advantage
- 13:40here. When you look at the Eastern
- 13:42Conference, when you look at both conferences, you say, Oh my
- 13:45God, the Western Conference, the top four teams are way better
- 13:47than the top four teams in the Eastern Conference.
- 13:50But when it comes to injury and you come to depth and you look
- 13:53at what the Knicks are doing right now and pretty much all
- 13:56the guys coming off the bench and we're getting consistency
- 14:00from the bench. That's the that's a championship
- 14:03way of winning. Think about it, OK, C won their
- 14:06first championship last year. Why?
- 14:09Because they're depth off the bench.
- 14:10Caruso coming off the bench, their depth.
- 14:12And if you remember the Nuggets when they won the championship,
- 14:14why did the Nuggets win the championship?
- 14:17Brown, the depth, he was the 6th man of the year.
- 14:19The depth off the bench, Aaron getting, getting Aaron and all
- 14:23the different players that they had, it was depth winning
- 14:26championships. It's all about the bench.
- 14:28It's all about the depth and the Knicks have it.
- 14:31OKC really doesn't have it right now and either does the Spurs.
- 14:34And that to me, you can make all the faces you want.
- 14:36When you look at the injuries, you have two of your best
- 14:39players, two of your best point guards sitting on the bench
- 14:42right now and could be out a significant.
- 14:44Amount of time as a starter? You said a bitch.
- 14:45What? Are you?
- 14:46What are you talking about? What are you?
- 14:47Talking Williams is a starter. You said a bitch.
- 14:49I'm talking about their bench. What guys like Caruso coming off
- 14:52the bench, Caruso starting right now, and even with that, they're
- 14:55not getting enough off their bench.
- 14:57And that's going to be a problem when they play teams like the
- 14:59Knicks that are gunning right now.
- 15:01If you look who has the best bench in the playoffs right now,
- 15:03it's the Knicks. OK, see.
- 15:05The Knicks. Been proven it's been proven we.
- 15:07The Knicks have the best. The Knicks have the best bench
- 15:10right now in the playoffs. They're getting more from more
- 15:13optional players than any team in the playoffs.
- 15:16They're getting they're getting blocks from guys like Mitchell
- 15:19Robertson. They're getting guys like
- 15:22Chimet. He's coming on the he's scoring
- 15:24points, he's playing defense against.
- 15:25And you, the problem with you 2 is you look at offense, you're
- 15:28not looking at the defensive side of the ball too.
- 15:30No, I do. I look at both sides.
- 15:31Well, the both. Sides, that's how I was able to
- 15:33call you out on your BS about Donovan.
- 15:35Mitchell Donovan Mitchell still a top five defensive player at.
- 15:38His because I look at both sides.
- 15:39You can say whatever you want, you can go look up and numbers
- 15:41are all you want. I watch the games.
- 15:43Dude, I don't know what else. You watch the games, I don't
- 15:46watch the games. I don't know what else to do.
- 15:47Dude, you can look up whatever you want.
- 15:48I'm not looking it up. I'm telling you what I watch.
- 15:51Donovan Mitchell is one of the best at his position.
- 15:54Defensively. You could say whatever you yeah.
- 15:56It could be. I think, I think what I'm seeing
- 15:58in the Western Conference final right now is OK, C is every,
- 16:03every clip that you're seeing of Wemby scoring, it's not Chet or
- 16:07Hartenstein on him. It's Lou Dort trying to guard,
- 16:10trying to guard him. And you're talking about A7.
- 16:12How tall is HE75 on 6869 Lou Dort?
- 16:16I mean, he's not even that big. He's 6-7, Yeah.
- 16:18He's a good defender, but not for Wemby.
- 16:22I said Dort's. A good defender, but not for
- 16:23Wembley. Yeah, and that's, and you keep
- 16:26seeing it. It's like I, I think they're
- 16:28like, they're like, oh, if he doesn't give, he doesn't score
- 16:3040, we'll be OK. You know, if we can limit him to
- 16:33like 30, we'll be OK because there's not enough scoring to go
- 16:37around. And they're like living with the
- 16:39SGA, Like it's, it's just like a battle of wills, right?
- 16:43But I, I think I don't like to go too far ahead.
- 16:46You know, I think the Knicks are going to be in the Finals, but I
- 16:49think what the difference is is the length and athleticism of
- 16:51Cat and the and the weight. Cat is a big, heavy guy.
- 16:56He's not going to get pushed around by Web and Yana.
- 17:01It doesn't matter though, he's still outweighs.
- 17:03I don't know if you watch it whim be a dunking old people.
- 17:06Yeah. He turned the rim off.
- 17:08He's not. He's. 220 lbs Seven.
- 17:11Five. Correct.
- 17:12But he's dunking it. That's what I'm saying.
- 17:13He's 75, he's dunking it. He's got blue.
- 17:16Dork on him. That's what I'm saying.
- 17:17He's got blue dork on him. Hornstein.
- 17:19Even last night he gave the Hornstein 20.
- 17:21One weighs a. 190 lbs Who? Chet Holmgren.
- 17:26Yeah, but I'm just but but cat ain't nobody that's gonna bang,
- 17:29is what I'm trying. To Mitchell Robertson is when
- 17:31Mitchell Robertson. Is one of the ones that go to
- 17:34Mitchell Robertson is where he gonna give your offense.
- 17:37He doesn't have. To.
- 17:39You have OG, what the Knicks did.
- 17:41What the Knicks did in the Cup Finals was very simple.
- 17:44What they did was they closed up corners with OG and Anobi.
- 17:48And that's why guys like webbing.
- 17:49Yama couldn't get inside 'cause he was pushing him around.
- 17:52And then when he got inside, you had a guy like Mitchell Robinson
- 17:54standing there and saying, go ahead, don't go on me, baby,
- 17:56It's not going to happen. He's going to stand there,
- 17:59Mitch. Robinson, Mitch, Rob.
- 18:00No, he wasn't. Mitchell Robinson completely
- 18:02dominated that one. I don't go back to Emory's cup.
- 18:05That one get going back to the Week 7 of the season.
- 18:09That's not me, OK? I'm doing it real time.
- 18:13You think Mr. Robinson is fit to be the Grim Reaper, The Victor
- 18:16Ribeana? You're sad.
- 18:18Speedy, what was the statistics that you brought?
- 18:22This is. What you're discrediting to the
- 18:26wingspan, the length of the wings of the Knicks OG has
- 18:30there's. Nobody.
- 18:31There's nobody that has. Wingspan, huh?
- 18:34There's nobody in the league that has a wingspan that could
- 18:36stop Windy. Yeah, All they got to do is
- 18:39throw it up there. There's nobody that's going to
- 18:40do it. So the best thing for them to do
- 18:42is to use their weight and push them out of the paint and make
- 18:46it difficult and give them hard fouls.
- 18:48That's the only way. You have a bunch of young
- 18:50players on the Spurs. You look at the Spurs right now,
- 18:53they're one of the youngest teams in the NBA.
- 18:55And you have a veteran team like the Knicks.
- 18:57They're big, they're built. You have OG Ananobi that's built
- 19:00like a rock that got you. It's very hard to push them.
- 19:02You have Mitchell Harton. No, he's not.
- 19:04He's 100%. He's 100% healthy now, buddy.
- 19:08Yeah. But I'm just saying he's a 20
- 19:16point guy. You gave me 13.
- 19:17He's not all the way. There and he's a shutdown
- 19:19defender. He's a shutdown defender.
- 19:21Right now, not with that. And he went for that.
- 19:22When he went for that dunk, I knew he wasn't hurt.
- 19:24Happy with the duck? He got.
- 19:26Fouled you hate you hate that happen you really don't like.
- 19:32They called it, but I would say they called it but I wouldn't
- 19:36say you got 5. Come on.
- 19:39Oh, I'm I'm fan OG. I look at OG as I look at Mobley
- 19:44for the Cavs, like if OG don't show up for the Knicks, then the
- 19:46Knicks ain't going nowhere and then OB don't show up for the
- 19:49Cavs. He they're not going well.
- 19:50That's I look at it the same way the.
- 19:52Difference is you need Mobley to score 25 to 30 points to win the
- 19:56game. You don't need OG.
- 19:57You need OG to score 15 points. 15 to 20.
- 20:00Because you don't know. What's going on?
- 20:01Not if Mikkel Bridges are scoring. 18 and 6 L.
- 20:05Bridges scoring 23. We're fine.
- 20:07We stay in the West, we can come back to that, but we're staying
- 20:10the West, man. No, but right now if you look at
- 20:13the West, it's both teams are injured, they're injury prone
- 20:16and that's why I think it's going 7 Series, seven games
- 20:19because both teams are going to be limping to the finish line.
- 20:22SGA is great, Whamby is great, but it's the secondary players
- 20:26that going to have to show up in the second-half of the game.
- 20:29Castle is a young, young player. He's got phenomenal talent and
- 20:32we've seen what the Spurs have done in the past, what, you
- 20:35know, believe and all the different guys that they had
- 20:37playing around, Tim Duncan, Hall of Fame players, Kawhi Leonard,
- 20:40all these guys. But Tony Parker, when you look
- 20:42at this team, they don't have those options.
- 20:45They don't have those, those, those optional guys that are
- 20:48going to take over games. Dylan Harper's a good player.
- 20:51He's a good player. He's a young player.
- 20:53They don't have that other guy. If Webanyame is not having a
- 20:56good game, well, we're going to have Castle take over the game
- 20:59or we're going to have D Aaron Fox.
- 21:00D Aaron Fox was given up. The Sacramento kids gave up on
- 21:04him. They gave up on him.
- 21:06They traded him. They didn't think he was any
- 21:08good. He's overpaid.
- 21:09They're going to get rid of him in the offseason.
- 21:11They can't hold on to him. So.
- 21:13Castle can take over a game, so I don't know what she's.
- 21:15Like I think the best case scenario Mario as a Homer Knicks
- 21:18fan is for, I'm talking about in San Antonio to go to 6-7 games
- 21:23and it'd be an absolute war and the Knicks don't play with their
- 21:27food and get rid of the Cavs in. 5 And I'm not even talking I'm
- 21:30Dicky. I'm not even talking about the
- 21:31Knicks. Now I'm trying to move away from
- 21:33the Knicks because I'm looking at both teams and I I love the
- 21:36coaching. They're 2 great young coaches.
- 21:38They've proven themselves. One of them won a championship.
- 21:41The other one, it was picked by Gregg Popovich to take over this
- 21:44organization and be the guy it. It's great to watch what these
- 21:47two young coaches and they're going to be OK C and the Spurs,
- 21:51We're going to see this a lot in the Western Conference Finals.
- 21:54These guys are the future of the West.
- 21:56But when I look at all the way the when you look at the NBA and
- 22:00you look at the contracts and salaries and all that other
- 22:02stuff, all these guys are not going to be able to be saved on
- 22:05these teams in these organizations.
- 22:07It's just not going to work. I will say this about OK C.
- 22:10They know how to relink, relinquish draft picks.
- 22:12They got two first round draft picks this year.
- 22:14They can move up on a player if they if, if need be.
- 22:17Hahnstein's not going to be back next year.
- 22:19But Isaiah Hahnstein can't stay healthy.
- 22:21He's never 100% healthy. As a Knick fan, a lot of people
- 22:24were questioning why didn't the Knicks give him an extension?
- 22:26Why didn't they extend him? They offered it to him.
- 22:28He decided to take a little bit more money and go to OKC.
- 22:31Did he make the wrong decision? No.
- 22:32He won a championship. But when you look at Hahnstein
- 22:35in his career now, OKC is going to be looking at him and saying,
- 22:39you know what, we don't need him.
- 22:41We can, we can go and draft a, a big man from Michigan or whoever
- 22:44they want to go mar or anybody. They can go and to the draft and
- 22:47they can say, OK, we're going to go with this guy.
- 22:49We we'll, we'll, we'll ride or die with him or and, and, and to
- 22:52me, when I look at the Spurs, I I as good as the Spurs look and
- 22:57they have so much talent. The Spurs got lucky with webbing
- 23:00Yama. They're not going to get top
- 23:02first round draft picks anymore. It's not going to happen.
- 23:05This is a team that's going to have to find players in the
- 23:07later rounds like the Knicks have done, like OKC has done.
- 23:10Look at OKC's team. They've got, I think if I'm not
- 23:13mistaken in their lineup they've got 3 or 4 guys that are second
- 23:16round draft picks. Some undrafted so.
- 23:18And some undrafted. I mean, you got to really find
- 23:21these guys and to me, I, the Spurs haven't proven that to me.
- 23:25They haven't shown me that they they can find guys outside of
- 23:28the first round. Dylan Harper's a top three pick,
- 23:32Castle's a top four pick. That's what you're looking at.
- 23:35Wenby Yamas a top, top pick. Those are three guys that were
- 23:39top three picks. So if you can't find the guys in
- 23:42the later rounds, good luck. And that's why I look at the
- 23:44Spurs and there's a lot of questions With the Spurs, their
- 23:47ownership is great. Their GM has been there for how
- 23:49long? I think he's been there for like
- 23:5130 years. He's been there with Greg
- 23:53Popovich. He's done such a great job.
- 23:55We've seen Sean Marks go to the Nets and absolutely screw
- 23:57everything up. It seems like all these
- 23:59executives that leave the Spurs can't do anything on other
- 24:02organizations. One went to the Pelicans, the
- 24:03other one went to the Grizzlies, the other one went to Miami.
- 24:06They they they all go everywhere and they don't do anything but
- 24:10what we've seen. Think they were Becky.
- 24:11Yeah. How about great Popovich?
- 24:14Great Popovich is tree. Everybody looks at Mike Brown.
- 24:16They look at Steve Kerr. They look at all their trees.
- 24:19There are trees that stick up. But look at where Mike Brown
- 24:22has. What Mike Brown has done in the
- 24:24years that he has become an assistant coach in the NBA.
- 24:28He took over Sacramento. He had one good season.
- 24:30He was coach of the year. He was unbelievable, but he
- 24:32couldn't get along with any young players.
- 24:34He got fired. He he was let go with the
- 24:36Cavaliers after LeBron James left or what LeBron James's time
- 24:41over there was gone. Mike Brown was let go.
- 24:43Mike Brown decide they they decided to part ways with Mike
- 24:46Brown. Mike Brown is hopped from one
- 24:48team to another and a lot of people believe because he can't
- 24:51handle the youth on some organizations and teams.
- 24:54But what we've seen with Mike Brown this year is he has worked
- 24:58the young players, He has looked at the young players and used
- 25:01them as assets. And that to me, coaching is
- 25:04probably the least important thing with the NBA.
- 25:07I've said that. I've argued that because you
- 25:09look at you look at all the other sports just.
- 25:11Bigged up two coaches that didn't follow.
- 25:13Up I am going to say that because because the NBA is all
- 25:16about stars. The NBA is all about stars.
- 25:19Get out of here. It's true.
- 25:20It it's it's 100. Percent you don't watch the game
- 25:22because you can tell. Really.
- 25:23I don't watch the game. I don't think any of the four
- 25:25coaches left in the playoffs you could say are coaches.
- 25:28They're good coaches. Okay.
- 25:29They're going to be elite. They're good, but they got a
- 25:31system, they got, they got a game plan.
- 25:35What you say? Atkinson He blew it by not using
- 25:38his timeouts in the in the second-half.
- 25:41Yeah, but I'm talking about. Yeah, but I.
- 25:43Don't know, so just coaches. Being very important in that
- 25:45game. Correct.
- 25:48Well, you look at the West and both of them are just killing it
- 25:50on both sides. Like you seen it.
- 25:51This is the reason why it's a battle.
- 25:53And then they just a high pick and roll who got the better
- 25:55talent and everybody's school with your start scoring 50 and
- 25:5860 and everybody was contributing 5 and 10.
- 26:01That's that's the what I'm telling you.
- 26:03Like there's actually offensive sets being ran, there's
- 26:05strategic timeouts, there's strategic challenges.
- 26:08Those different things, though, that's coaching.
- 26:10That ain't Oh, I got a good start on my team and it's just
- 26:13happening like no, you have. To be well.
- 26:15Intentional about that. No cue, I think well, I think
- 26:18Dagnos a good coach for OKC. I don't think he would be
- 26:21magnified to this elite status. It wasn't for the Sam Presti
- 26:23probably being the best executive in the NBA right now
- 26:26and building up this team the way he has.
- 26:27You were talking about the bench production that OKC has.
- 26:30They have so many versatile guys that they could play and because
- 26:33they had all those injury issues during the season, all those
- 26:36guys can be trusted because of that, even when Jalen Williams
- 26:38goes down, they have the amount of combined production to make
- 26:41it work. And the one thing that I think
- 26:43they do well is they know when to take guys out.
- 26:45Dicky, you were mentioning that with the Knicks like taking
- 26:47McBride out and putting in Sham and putting in those guys.
- 26:49OK, He did a lot of the same thing.
- 26:51Caisson Wallace at the at the three and the four position.
- 26:54Jared McCain who they traded for the trade deadline making,
- 26:56making those guys impact. That's why they had seven guys
- 26:59that scored double figures in this game.
- 27:01That's why I don't know if the Spurs have that to the same
- 27:03level of position. Versatile guys to make up for
- 27:06both Harper and Fox being down. And my attack, my attack to
- 27:10coaching in the NBA is pretty simple.
- 27:13I look at the NHL and I look at what they do as NHL coaches.
- 27:17You need to be a coach. It's, it's completely different.
- 27:19You need, there's no timeouts. Everything is run by the the
- 27:23bench, defensive and offensively.
- 27:25You see them calling, it's different and, and there's line
- 27:28changes and everything automatically within 30 to 40
- 27:31seconds in the playoffs. It's completely different.
- 27:33And when you look at the NFL, it's all about coaching.
- 27:36Say whatever you want. If you don't have any elite
- 27:37coach, you're not winning a championship.
- 27:39I'm sorry, you're not winning a championship If you don't have
- 27:42an elite coach. Those coaches have to call they,
- 27:44they have to put the, the right defensive and offensive
- 27:47coordinators and special teams. And that guy is running the
- 27:50whole team, 5453 players on that roster.
- 27:54And then I look at baseball as as important as the manager is,
- 27:58the manager is going to the executives, he's going to the
- 28:00GM. They have all these analytics,
- 28:03they're following analytics on the where they're making calls
- 28:07and stuff like that. So the managers as much as
- 28:09really it's the manager working the bullpen that's the most
- 28:11important thing. If the manager knows how to work
- 28:14his bullpen, keep his bullpen fresh, they're a good manager.
- 28:17Consider a good manager. Tampa's why is Tampa winning
- 28:20right now? Why is Tampa right now ahead of
- 28:22the Yankees by four games because of their bullpen?
- 28:25He they, they have a coach that understands how to keep his
- 28:29bullpen healthy and, and, and not pushing him out too much
- 28:32where they're going to get worn down early.
- 28:34And we'll see how it works in 162 games.
- 28:36When I look at the NBA, it's all about stars.
- 28:39It really is. You could say, yes, you have to
- 28:41have a coach that's going to call plays, but honestly, if you
- 28:46look at teams that have won championships in the past, not
- 28:49necessarily needed great coaches.
- 28:51I honest to God, All right, I'm going to tell you this right
- 28:54now, you laughed. Let's go down the list.
- 28:56Let's go down the list. Let's Debbie.
- 28:58Miami. Miami.
- 28:59Miami When LeBron James and Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh left,
- 29:02how many championships did he win?
- 29:042. How many championships after
- 29:06they left? How many championships did he
- 29:08win? How many championships did he?
- 29:09Win, and they win one with D Wade instead.
- 29:11He did not win it. That was before.
- 29:13And that wasn't. That was Pat Riley, by the way.
- 29:15Yeah, that was Pat Riley. So how?
- 29:17Many went to the finals once with the the COVID year.
- 29:20Yeah, and they won the and they went the year after or a couple
- 29:22years after too. But how many championships did
- 29:24he win on? He won no championships without
- 29:26D Wade, Chris Bosh and and LeBron James.
- 29:29If you go back and you look at teams and you look at elite
- 29:32players, you need the elite players to win championships,
- 29:35not necessarily elite coaches. Now there are teams.
- 29:39Phil Jackson, when you look at Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan
- 29:41didn't win a championship until Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson
- 29:44came, came around. But how do we know that Michael
- 29:46Jordan in the 90s couldn't, you know, trans train and send into
- 29:51Michael Jordan like he did in the 90s without Phil Jackson?
- 29:54We only, we don't know. We don't know.
- 29:56We we don't know. We should say he did it.
- 29:59What I'm saying here is when you look at teams, even the Celtics
- 30:03in the 80s, and you look at their dominance and stuff like
- 30:06that, they didn't have elite coaching.
- 30:09They didn't have elite coaching when they won championships in
- 30:12the 80s. They really didn't.
- 30:14They had elite players. Robert Parish, Kevin Mccarroll,
- 30:18Larry Bird, they, they had elite players.
- 30:22Elite players win championships in the NBA.
- 30:25That's a fact. It doesn't matter.
- 30:27Steve Kerr. If Steve Kerr went to the New
- 30:29York Knicks, he had a decision to go to Golden State or the New
- 30:31York Knicks. If he went to the New York
- 30:33Knicks, does he win championships?
- 30:34With this team does. He win championships, Yeah.
- 30:36No, I'm talking about right when he was going to the Knicks.
- 30:39Does he win a championship with that New York Knick team when he
- 30:42decided to go to Golden State? Yes or no?
- 30:44I don't know who was on. It no, it doesn't matter.
- 30:46He doesn't. He doesn't.
- 30:47He decided to go to Golden State and take over Mark Jackson's
- 30:51team because they had a young Steph Curry hit a young Klay
- 30:54Thompson and he had a young Draymond Green.
- 30:56He wasn't stupid, OK you. Didn't have Draymond yet.
- 30:59Yeah, David. And it was, it would have been
- 31:01Steph Curry team because coaches don't matter.
- 31:03They did a Draymond Green, by the way.
- 31:05When Draymond Green was the same draft as Clayton.
- 31:06Yes, he was there. Draymond Green was there second
- 31:08round. So the fact here is I and my
- 31:12argument here is not that you you can't win with great
- 31:16coaching. You don't need great coaching to
- 31:19win an NBA championship. You need great players.
- 31:23That's my argument. It doesn't mean you don't need.
- 31:25A So so why was LeBron and Chris Barson, Dwyane Wade missed
- 31:30those, what, three years? They didn't they didn't win the
- 31:32championship? Why was that?
- 31:33What? Do you mean they didn't win
- 31:34championships? When they lost to the Spurs and
- 31:36they lost The Mavericks, when they who, why they?
- 31:39They were in the finals. They were in the.
- 31:41Final obviously was a better team.
- 31:42They were in the finals. No, they weren't.
- 31:44No dude, there was no team better than Chris boss Dwyane
- 31:48Wade in the 1st. Year in the 1st.
- 31:50There was no team but. Why?
- 31:52And Tim Duncan wasn't. Better than that key team and.
- 31:56Everybody and the Heat, when they won, when they lost against
- 31:59the Dallas Mavericks, that's what that was their first year
- 32:01together as a team and Dallas talent.
- 32:04And they had, they had honestly, in that series, the way Dirk
- 32:08Nowitzki was playing, he was the best player in that series.
- 32:11He was. He was the best.
- 32:13Nobody in the even dirt he was. He would never say he was the.
- 32:16Jerk was the best player in. That better?
- 32:19He was not the better. He was the better.
- 32:23Player. He was in that series.
- 32:27He was the better player. He was he.
- 32:29I'll play them. What you have to say it cuz it
- 32:33ain't athleticism. It's not.
- 32:35What I'm talking? About a system it had to be ran.
- 32:41That's how it was 1 and if you go back and you actually listen
- 32:43to the players that was on that team, there was strategies,
- 32:47there was game plans that ended up benefiting them and winner
- 32:50that game, right? Like Le Bron can only score
- 32:53certain on a certain percentage on a certain part of the floor.
- 32:56That is a part of the coaching. That is a game plan, which is.
- 33:00So let's get it straight, Let's get it straight, Let's get it
- 33:03straight because Kyrie Irving has been all over the place and
- 33:06he said that Le Bron James was a great leader and I could I
- 33:09couldn't imagine what what it was like being a leader when he
- 33:12went to the Celtics. And he says now I could see what
- 33:15leadership is. Le Bron James when he was on
- 33:17those Cavalier teams, he was calling the offensive plays on
- 33:20the basketball court, not the coach.
- 33:22He was calling the off. What did they get him?
- 33:24And what do you mean what he got him?
- 33:25He got him to the finals with with nobody on the team when
- 33:28Larry used as the second. Option who?
- 33:30What was the East looking like far as talent wise?
- 33:32Because everybody was in the world.
- 33:34So what? Did the east So, so wait a
- 33:36second. So now we're going to go through
- 33:37the east. How about Detroit?
- 33:39Did they beat? Detroit.
- 33:40Did they beat Detroit? Did they beat the championship
- 33:42Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals?
- 33:44They absolutely did. Do you remember that?
- 33:46I remember it. I remember.
- 33:48I heard on that Detroit team. Wallace played in that game, so
- 33:53did Rick. RIP Prince.
- 33:56They all played. Phillips still played in that
- 33:58series. Yeah, they all played.
- 34:01And it it doesn't matter who's hurt.
- 34:02They were playing in those games and LeBron James took over those
- 34:05games. Say whatever you want when
- 34:07LeBron went to Miami. Harold makes an excellent point
- 34:11about Dirk because Dirk had that.
- 34:12Well, I'd like you to listen to it because I think it's pretty
- 34:15good because this is a guy that you can't coach the one legged
- 34:19fight fade away shot that he hit that no one else could hit in
- 34:22the history of the NBA the way that.
- 34:24He. Did you can't teach what he
- 34:26does. Not the way that he did it and
- 34:29not that year. He did it first though, I'm just
- 34:34saying. Nobody can't do it.
- 34:36You're you're not listening to the argument.
- 34:38The argument is the guys in the NBA, Jason Kidd was the coach on
- 34:42the floor for that team. Jason Kidd was making sure the
- 34:45plays were being run. Jason Kidd is one of the is a
- 34:47now unemployed coach, but he was a literally a third.
- 34:51Highest paid coach, by the way. Third highest paid coach who's
- 34:54unemployed. $40 million doesn't have to coach.
- 34:57For doesn't have a pretty. Nice job for them, it's pretty.
- 34:59Good, but. Well, you know what I mean.
- 35:00Like I think, I think Errol's point, you know, compared to the
- 35:03other sports, it's more about not all about, but more about
- 35:08how talented the guys are playing together then what the
- 35:12coaches can do for them. I think that's a decent argument
- 35:14for. That, but it doesn't translate
- 35:15to championships because when you look at it, what you guys
- 35:18are saying, I'm not saying the. Leaders.
- 35:19Championships, yeah, that's what I'm trying to tell him.
- 35:21He said that the talent can get you a championship.
- 35:23And what I'm trying to say is that if a guy's on the court and
- 35:26he's leading, he understand basketball and he's able to put
- 35:29guys positions to be successful. That doesn't mean that he's not
- 35:33paying attention to the play caller, he's not paying
- 35:36attention to the game plan. He didn't sit in the office
- 35:38during the week and come up with a strategy to implement on the
- 35:42game plan. So you can't disregard all that
- 35:45preparation. You can't disregard all that
- 35:47coaching for the sake of you had a good player that bought into
- 35:51the system and asked the implemented.
- 35:53Let me ask you. Questions go out there.
- 35:54I got a question asking you, in the last 10 years, how many
- 35:57coach changes have they been in each?
- 36:00Who's had more coach transitions in each sport?
- 36:03Because I'll tell you this, you can look this up the NBA,
- 36:06because the NBA, you can transition more with coaches
- 36:09than any other sports. We're not compete, we're not
- 36:11comparing the. You don't need a great coach to
- 36:14win a champion. Saying that coaching matter,
- 36:16you're saying it. Doesn't.
- 36:16I don't think it does. In the NBA, it doesn't.
- 36:19You have it doesn't talent, it doesn't win a championship.
- 36:21It doesn't you. Have nothing to prove that you
- 36:25can come out here and just have the best talent and list.
- 36:27We gave you LeBron James, a Duane in that era.
- 36:30We've given you Janice was back-to-back MVP.
- 36:33Let me ask you a question. Let.
- 36:34Me ask you a question, I gave you one with Miami.
- 36:37How many championships did Greg Popovich win when Tim Duncan and
- 36:41Manu Julong Ginobili Kawhi later?
- 36:44I'm just asking you how many championships?
- 36:46Win on A5 Championship run. Yeah, when Tim Duncan retired,
- 36:53when Tim Duncan retired, they didn't win nothing.
- 36:56That's how great he was as a coach.
- 36:58They didn't win nothing. They didn't win nothing.
- 37:01Q They didn't win nothing. I'm talking.
- 37:03About the system talent, Chicago with Jordan, they ran the
- 37:06triangle. It's like anywhere else.
- 37:08When you got to LA with Phil Jackson, he ran the triangle.
- 37:10It's all this stuff plays a part of what I'm saying.
- 37:13You don't. You keep thinking that people
- 37:15can just roll the ball out and just make it to the
- 37:17championship. You're nuts.
- 37:19I I disagree with you. I completely disagree.
- 37:22I. Completely disagree with.
- 37:24You I completely disagree with you when I watch the NBAI think
- 37:27it's all about talent. It's it really, it has nothing
- 37:30to do with coaching in in sports.
- 37:32I've said it, I played hockey, Hockey, you need a good coach.
- 37:35If you look at all the teams that have won championships,
- 37:37they're all great coaches, all great coaches, and you can see
- 37:40why they're great coaches. If you look at the NFL, look at
- 37:44the championship teams, I mean, you can't be blinded by that.
- 37:47The reason why they won the championships is because they
- 37:49got great coaching. Everybody says it's the
- 37:51quarterback. It's all about coaching if you
- 37:53look at some of these quarterbacks.
- 37:54Without the quarterback. Well, I'm sorry.
- 37:56Who's wrong without the quarterback?
- 37:58Who's wrong without the? What are you?
- 37:59Talking wrong without the quarterback.
- 38:01I'm just saying I. Mean they're the Ravens have won
- 38:04without a good quarterback. Tampa.
- 38:05Tampa quarterback. Did he win MVP with that?
- 38:09Year no the Trent Dilfer. Trent Dilfer in 2000.
- 38:13Brad Johnson, Yeah. I mean, they weren't, they
- 38:16weren't great quarterbacks. Yeah, I said.
- 38:18Yeah, but I'm. Saying with that, all world, all
- 38:20world. Defenses, I mean, correct, yeah,
- 38:22that Ravens team, that defense was.
- 38:25You can. You can.
- 38:26Win. You can you can win
- 38:27championships if you have great defense, you have a great
- 38:29running game. We've argued this before and,
- 38:32and we can go into that some other time, but I the, the fact
- 38:35here is when you look at basketball, I just thinking of
- 38:39all the sports, I look at coaching and I'm like, you can
- 38:43win without great coaching. You can win with just great
- 38:46talent around. And if you put the right guys
- 38:48around and you have the right player that is running the
- 38:52offense like a LeBron James, like a Michael Jordan, like a
- 38:55Kobe Bryant, because I got news for everybody, everybody loves
- 38:59Phil Jackson. Everybody loves Phil Jackson.
- 39:01And this is not a shot at Phil Jackson.
- 39:03Think he was a great coach. They win championships without
- 39:06Phil Jackson. They do They win Shaquille
- 39:09O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, especially when Kobe Bryant got his feet
- 39:12wet. They win championships with Kobe
- 39:13Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal 100% Lee do.
- 39:16And if you look at if you can make Jeff so you want when
- 39:19Scottie Pippen went there or his friend, yes I am.
- 39:22When I look at when I look at Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen
- 39:26and Dennis Rodman or Ron Harper and those guys, they're winning
- 39:31a championship too. As good as Phil Jackson is,
- 39:34they're going to win those championships as well.
- 39:36It's called dominance. Hey, hey, will you wait this
- 39:39what I want you to do. When you look at that timeout
- 39:41and you see them bring that white board out and then putting
- 39:44X's and O's up there, that's strategy, that's that's
- 39:48coaching. That's what they're doing.
- 39:49Then the players just go out there and implement it.
- 39:52And that's the reason why, you know, I mean, that's the reason
- 39:54why they're great because they it was actually in the system.
- 39:57And this is the reason why I feel was able to go from Chicago
- 40:00to LA and implement the same thing with Kobe and Shaq that he
- 40:03did with Jordan and Pip. And he was what it is.
- 40:06He was such a great coach that he wouldn't coach the Knicks.
- 40:09Exactly. Another good point.
- 40:11He knew it was a failure from the beginning.
- 40:12He knew that was a bad team. There was no way he was going to
- 40:15coach that team. No way.
- 40:17No, instead he won't be able to coach college graduate Jr.
- 40:19Smith. Instead, he goes to the combine
- 40:21and falls asleep and picks Frank Nilikina.
- 40:23Thank you very much. Eric, I learned from him.
- 40:25Thank you. Very much and trade and trades
- 40:27for Bargnani. Come on.
- 40:28Thank you very much. Thank you very, very much.
- 40:31Thank you, Phil, for all the stuff that you've done.
- 40:33Right. Let's go to my deuce of the day.
- 40:35Deuce of the day. You log, not a log.
- 40:38I don't have a log, but I. All right, ladies and gentlemen.
- 40:48Well, somebody's in trouble again.
- 40:49And I don't think it's something that we could even imagine or
- 40:53maybe we could. Rasheed Rice to be jailed for
- 40:56probation violation, to miss OTAs and mini camp after knee
- 41:01injury. Oh, my God, you guys are going
- 41:03to love this one. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver
- 41:05Rasheed Rice is in custody by violating his probation and he
- 41:11faces 30 days in jail time as a result.
- 41:14Rice tested positive for THC according to the order of court
- 41:18dated May 19th, was booked in Dallas, TX County Jail at 12:15
- 41:24PM on Tuesday and will remain in custody until June 16th.
- 41:29Ladies and gentlemen, Rashi Rice does it again.
- 41:32This guy doesn't get into car accidents and leaves the scene
- 41:35and then goes to a nightclub and gets into fistfights and gets
- 41:40ripped apart and then gets caught by the police saying that
- 41:43he doesn't know anything of anything behind the scenes.
- 41:46It's very it's it's to me, it's just very filling that it
- 41:49happens to only the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 41:51It's been going on. If you go back at some of these
- 41:54guys Tyree killed, remember him. Remember what he was doing.
- 41:57There was a running back in Cream Hunt.
- 41:59Remember him kicking and doing things to women.
- 42:02It it seems like. And I I got to give a shout out
- 42:04to Andy Reid. I think Andy Reid is a great
- 42:05coach. Andy Reid's gone through a lot
- 42:07of of things in his past, his son drowning and dying,
- 42:11committing suicide. Some people believe all these
- 42:14different things that Andy Reid is done and and his success not
- 42:17only with the Philadelphia Philadelphia Eagles and he
- 42:20didn't win a championship there, but he took his team 2
- 42:23championships and lose against Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
- 42:25But but then winning multiple championships with Patrick
- 42:29Mahomes, drafting Patrick Mahomes, rebuilding this
- 42:31organization from top to bottom. It's a great story.
- 42:33But when you look at these guys like Rashid Rice, who thinks he
- 42:37can get a away with murder, he does whatever he wants.
- 42:39He almost killed people in a car, left the scene fighting
- 42:43with people because of a friggin woman in, you know, in a in a
- 42:47nightclub. And then all of a sudden he
- 42:49knows that he has to stay away from drugs, stay away from
- 42:53things that his probation would get him into trouble.
- 42:55This guy is smoking marijuana. It's it's really pathetic.
- 42:59And and I blame Andy Reid, I blame the coaching staff over
- 43:03there because they don't not know how to control their
- 43:06players. And this is a horrible story
- 43:08because it just shows you once is Andy Reed Sugar is Andy Reed
- 43:12did. You read my messages, my
- 43:13crashing. Is that was Fish, by the way.
- 43:17I just muted him. Andy Reed does not know how to
- 43:21control his players, which tells me right now as an organization,
- 43:24when is it going to be enough? When is Andy Reid going to
- 43:27decide that this guy is not fit to be on this roster?
- 43:31And, and to me, he's such an important player to this
- 43:34offense. They're not going to get rid of
- 43:35him and he is going to be here for the long haul.
- 43:37And it's just horrible. It really is.
- 43:39And that's why this is the deuce of the day, because it's
- 43:41absolute garbage. It's absolute garbage.
- 43:43There should be no reason why this guy is still on the roster
- 43:46right now with the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 43:48And it just shows you that this organization has no control over
- 43:52players. So that's my deuce of the day.
- 43:53It's horrible. And I'm I'm interested to see
- 43:56for all your fans out there what Kansas City is going to do to
- 44:00him and what the NFL is going to do with him because they
- 44:02suspended him. He wasn't suspended for a long
- 44:05time. And it seems like this guy gets
- 44:08away with murder. He gets away with everything.
- 44:10I know it's just THC, but why can't you just follow no
- 44:12directions, stay away from getting into trouble?
- 44:15Why can't you just follow what the team is telling you?
- 44:19It just it's pathetic, absolutely pathetic.
- 44:21Could you imagine if they brought Tyree kill back?
- 44:23Oh God, could you imagine that they that guy can't control
- 44:26himself over there in Miami. Now you're going to bring him
- 44:29back and he's going to be coaching this guy or helping
- 44:31this guy develop. Good luck.
- 44:33Maybe. They should bring back our
- 44:34friend Bashar Breland. Too.
- 44:35Good. Luck Bashar Breland, that guy.
- 44:38He was a real winner when he came on the show.
- 44:40By the way, I I wonder what Bashar doing right now?
- 44:43I mean, and hopefully not, what did he have a bazooka or an Uzi?
- 44:47Yeah, some kind of hunting. Rifle, hunting rifle.
- 44:50I mean, he was a machine gun. He, he got caught with like a, a
- 44:55fully loaded machine gun in the back of his trunk.
- 44:57I mean, the guy's out of his mind too.
- 44:59But I, I like Rashard. I hope everything's going well
- 45:01with Rashard. Brilliant.
- 45:02He's a nice kid and hopefully he's doing well.
- 45:05He did went he he did play in the Super.
- 45:06Bowl Yeah, he played very well in that Super Bowl, too.
- 45:08Yeah, so my heart goes out to him and his family.
- 45:12All right? That's that's the deuce of the
- 45:13day when we come back. I, it's just pathetic, man.
- 45:16I, I don't, I don't get it. I don't.
- 45:18And the NFL just loves to protect the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 45:21They love to protect them. They protect them all the time.
- 45:25I I don't get it. And, and again, going into a
- 45:28season, Patrick Mahomes is coming back with a knee injury
- 45:31and they got Justin Fields. Good luck on that one.
- 45:34It's going to be very interesting to see.
- 45:36Interesting to see. Oh, and this is Chavez Kelsey's
- 45:38last year. He just got himself $12 million.
- 45:40Oh, yeah. Wonderful.
