- 0:01SPEAKER_01: Well, here are some of the suggestions from you guys about this stray cat that's really cute, actually.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: And I'm not a cat person, but I didn't know if I should feed it, if I should call somebody.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Here's a couple of the answers that you guys gave.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: We had a cat show up and he was sweet as can be.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, Bree, I feel you.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Now his name is Juicy J.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: But he stays outside and he hasn't brought any friends.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: He enjoys some of the kids' um uh car floor nuggets that they throw.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, cool.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: So you're saying I should throw him car floor floor nuggets.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Then, Mike, adopt the cat.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Let it be indoor, outdoor, or you could rig up a feral cat shelter for the winter.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Cats are so awesome and lovable.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: You know, I know a lot of people love the cat thing, but it's just not for me.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Some people are, some people not.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: 3490.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: If the cat is astray, even if you let it in, it's not gonna want to stay in all the time.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: It might just want to come in at night when it's cold.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: But if you do feed it, feed it in your house, not outside.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: That'll keep the other cats away.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, somebody said, oh hell, just at least feed it.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Then wait, Luciana.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: If it were me, he would already been on my porch with food and a bed.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I have nine cats.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, nine.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: What am I saying?
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: I have eight pugs.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Uh right?
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Um, okay.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: This is from Heather.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Allie make an outside warming hut, I believe is what she meant, and feed it.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: And then uh, man, there's a lot of text about this cat.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Um But no one's going.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Where did I where did that legend come from or myth that if you feed it, it's gonna get on its cat phone and and and invite all its other, you know, outdoor cats over for food.
- 1:43unknown: Bring, bring, bring.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Allie, about the cat.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: I would be willing to say now that you got it out there, let people get a hold of you and somebody will take it.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: I would take it, but my grandson is definitely allergic to him.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: And then somebody also said message paws and purrs is what they're called.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: See if they will trap it.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I I do know that a lot of times the shelters run into like overflow and it's tough.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: I mean I kind of like having it around, if I'm being honest.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: But my fit my big thing is the fleas.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Now, Junior has a flea collar on.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, you could always get a flea collar for the cat.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: I wonder if it would let me pick it up.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I've never even tried.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Because I was like, I don't want fleas.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Well, I it might be worth checking into.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: This could solve any mice problem you have in the future, mouse problem.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: I have a thing with fleas.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Like, Junior's gotten fleas twice in his early little baby life.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Oh, it sucks.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's the worst.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: You're bleaching everything, everything's itchy, and oh God, I hate it.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I believe me, I know.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So um, I don't know.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Maybe, well, I I I would check it out.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Maybe you could get a flea collar for it.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I I'm look.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: That's not a terrible idea because I don't want it to be like the rest of the neighborhood cats.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: There's this one house that has like 19 cats in front of it, and you can tell these cats, their their eyes are so infected they can barely open.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Oh God.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm like, this is not right.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: That's not the way a cat should live.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, I have a lot of dogs.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, it just is by default that that this just happened.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Birds and the bees.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Um, but they're taken care of, for God's sake.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you can't do it, don't.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: But that's when somebody has they got that, it kind of looks like um uh a muffin tin or a bread tin.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Not a muffin tin, but it looks like one of those metal tins where they put a bunch of cat food in, so all those cats go to that.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Well, this is now proving what I was afraid of.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's they're all gonna come your way.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: That's an idea.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: I don't want that.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I don't want your flea bag cat in my in my property.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: You got your own flea bag cat now.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Maybe it doesn't matter.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: What color is it?
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Is it black?
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: It's a long hair, like uh they call it calico.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Where it's all different kind of colors.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: It's really dang pretty.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Is it uh like can you tell, young, little It looks like a baby.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, not a baby, not but it looks like it got worse for a reason.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: No, it looks younger.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: It looks younger.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: But I'll I'll give it a flea collar.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Maybe I should give it a shot, see what happens.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: And if it turns out that the cat's just picked you and there's no choice around it.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Maybe let it in the mouse thing, that's off the table.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: You are well protected now.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I might be a cat person.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Dang it.
