- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, well, well, if it isn't Friday, love it, thanks
- 0:05Speaker 2: for being here, six o'clock on the dot.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 4: My favorite actor in Hollywood right now Kiaran Culkin.
- 0:12Speaker 5: He has joined the Sunrise on the Reaping.
- 0:14Speaker 4: Cast, and I think this is the best like casting
- 0:16Speaker 4: decision that I've heard of in a while. He's going
- 0:19Speaker 4: to join the Hunger Games prequel as the role of
- 0:21Speaker 4: Caesar Flickerman, the one that was originally Stanley Tucci who
- 0:25Speaker 4: did it so Producer Nina Jacobson said his quote magnetism,
- 0:29Speaker 4: went and unpredictability made him the perfect fit, and I
- 0:32Speaker 4: won thousand percent agree like I cannot wait to see this,
- 0:36Speaker 4: specifically to see his character.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Honest, the unpredictability is the best adjective I've ever heard
- 0:41Speaker 2: to describe here in Colkin.
- 0:43Speaker 5: One hundred percent.
- 0:44Speaker 4: So the prequel, in case you don't know, it's going
- 0:45Speaker 4: to follow a young hamage Abernathy as he competes in
- 0:48Speaker 4: the fiftieth Hunger Games, which is the second quarter quell.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The film comes out in theaters November twenty twenty six,
- 0:54Speaker 4: so we still got while to go until we can
- 0:56Speaker 4: watch it.
- 0:57Speaker 5: But everybody that they've casted so far looks really good.
- 1:00Speaker 4: This one just specifically stood out to me as, oh
- 1:03Speaker 4: my god, yes, especially when you don't think about it,
- 1:06Speaker 4: if somebody else did and then you go, oh my.
- 1:07Speaker 5: God, why didn't I think of that? That was the situation.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Magnus Carlson, the world's top chest grand master, just finished
- 1:16Speaker 4: a forty six day online chess match against everyone, and
- 1:21Speaker 4: I mean everyone. So the match has been called Magnus
- 1:24Speaker 4: Carlson Versus the World because it was him against one
- 1:27Speaker 4: hundred and forty three thousand online players from around the
- 1:31Speaker 4: world who all came together on each move. I know,
- 1:35Speaker 4: isn't that crazy? So each side had twenty four hours
- 1:37Speaker 4: to make a move, which made the game last a
- 1:39Speaker 4: month and a half, a total of forty six days.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Carlson in the world played to a draw, which is
- 1:44Speaker 4: an upset for the world because everyone was like, he's winning,
- 1:48Speaker 4: He's one hundred percent going to win.
- 1:50Speaker 5: People were vetting on it. No one thought that the world,
- 1:53Speaker 5: so one.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Hundred and forty three thousand people could come together to
- 1:56Speaker 4: even get.
- 1:56Speaker 5: Close to a draw, and here we are.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Pretty crazy stuff, that's insane.
- 2:01Speaker 2: That happened.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty crazy stuff and super fascinating because people like him,
- 2:06Speaker 4: like Magnus Carlson, who can do that against one hundred
- 2:10Speaker 4: and forty three thousand players, is just wild to me.
- 2:12Speaker 5: So I guess congrats to the world for drawing.
- 2:17Speaker 4: And the world's largest collection of punk records is leaving
- 2:21Speaker 4: San France and it's coming to MTSU, which is really cool.
- 2:23Speaker 4: So Middle Tennessee State University's Center for Popular Music will
- 2:27Speaker 4: now house the collection, which includes around sixty thousand records, photos,
- 2:32Speaker 4: and documents all pertaining to just the history of punk,
- 2:37Speaker 4: which is really awesome. The goal here is to make
- 2:38Speaker 4: the Center for Popular Music the new epicenter of punk
- 2:41Speaker 4: related research.
- 2:42Speaker 5: It's moving on over.
- 2:43Speaker 4: To MTSU in the coming week, so congrats to them
- 2:45Speaker 4: and their entire program.
- 2:47Speaker 5: This is a big deal. Congrats. I'm Ricky Sanchez and
- 2:50Speaker 5: those are the three things you need to know that voice.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite punk record?
- 2:55Speaker 3: I apologize.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Losing my voice. The actually I'll leave me alone.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Mine would be destruction by definition by the Suicide Machines.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's the band that got me into punch music. Hey
- 3:06Speaker 2: all right, I'm gonna give you some time to think
- 3:08Speaker 2: about it. Man, I'll go listen to circle to this.
- 3:10Speaker 3: No, it's not that all.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Come on one O seven five The River, Nicky Zach
- 3:15Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Ristin in Murphysboro, Good morning, Happy Friday. Everyone here in
- 3:20Speaker 4: the one O seven five the River studio is so
- 3:22Speaker 4: psyched for Friday.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a Memorial Day on Monday.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Do you have a three day weekend? I do know
- 3:29Speaker 2: it is work, ah bummer.
- 3:32Speaker 5: What do you do for work? Christen?
- 3:35Speaker 6: A genetics lab?
- 3:37Speaker 4: Look at people cancer?
- 3:40Speaker 5: WHOA?
- 3:41Speaker 4: That sounds really cool and very hard and very important.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Do you think if you were left alone in that
- 3:50Speaker 2: lab for just as much time as you wanted? Did
- 3:51Speaker 2: you clone somebody? Could you clone yourself?
- 3:53Speaker 1: I did.
- 3:55Speaker 2: You cloned a tooth?
- 4:00Speaker 5: Still very cool? Like you're disappointed now, Kevin. I want
- 4:04Speaker 5: to see you try to clone something.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Uh?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Do you still have the tulip?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Unfortunately?
- 4:13Speaker 5: And people?
- 4:19Speaker 4: I'm sorry, Kristin, but I mean it sounds like you
- 4:21Speaker 4: have a very cool job now. It sounds like you're
- 4:23Speaker 4: doing great. I'm sorry that, like this weekend, you do
- 4:26Speaker 4: have to work a bit. But I hope Sundays open.
- 4:29Speaker 4: You're the first color of the day.
- 4:30Speaker 5: On one I was seventy five the river.
- 4:31Speaker 4: You're getting Nashville Sounds tickets.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I remember Dolly the Sheep. They cloned Dolly the Sheep.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Are they still cloning stuff?
- 4:38Speaker 6: Kevin?
- 4:39Speaker 5: What is your obsession with cloning?
- 4:41Speaker 1: A person that does it's an expert.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I do not cl I've never met somebody to clone
- 4:51Speaker 2: anything before.
- 4:52Speaker 6: She cloned the tulip.
- 4:54Speaker 3: You ask the questions when you have the opportunity.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Kristin, I'm so sorry that my friend is absolutely certified insane.
- 5:06Speaker 2: You wish you could clone that friend? All right, hey on,
- 5:08Speaker 2: so we can get your information. Have fun this weekend
- 5:10Speaker 2: at the game.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Okay, hey, thank you? Could you imagine having two of Kevin?
- 5:14Speaker 5: That gives me anxiety so much?
- 5:17Speaker 2: But that would be far too much for me, And
- 5:18Speaker 2: I wonder with AI if I could like do a
- 5:21Speaker 2: radio show with like three of myself.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Oh, that is.
- 5:24Speaker 5: The worst idea.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Ricky Zach in the morning, We're.
- 5:28Speaker 4: So excited that it's Friday. We have been waiting for
- 5:30Speaker 4: this moment, and for a lot of us it's three
- 5:32Speaker 4: day work or weekend, not work week?
- 5:35Speaker 5: What am I saying?
- 5:35Speaker 2: You know what you were saying?
- 5:36Speaker 5: Now we know that like Friday was needed.
- 5:39Speaker 4: It's Ricky Zachamano in the morning on one of seven
- 5:41Speaker 4: five of the River. Zach's got a list of all
- 5:44Speaker 4: the things that you can get into this weekend, some
- 5:45Speaker 4: of it indoors, some of it outdoor, just in case
- 5:47Speaker 4: it rains.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Some days they're not looking so great. So go ahead, Zach.
- 5:50Speaker 5: What do we got going on?
- 5:51Speaker 7: Okay, so let's start with celebrating Memorial Day. So they
- 5:54Speaker 7: are doing this in Murphy's Barrel. It's really cool. It's
- 5:56Speaker 7: the snes River National Cemetery Memorial Day flag Placement.
- 6:00Speaker 6: So you can go and help.
- 6:03Speaker 7: At place flags at the burial sites of more than
- 6:05Speaker 7: seven thousand heroes. You can volunteer, and you just go
- 6:09Speaker 7: and you meet at the entrance of the Sounes River
- 6:11Speaker 7: National Cemetery and you can volunteer. It's happening on Saturday,
- 6:15Speaker 7: starting at ten am, and you just go, you show up.
- 6:18Speaker 7: You can volunteer and help place the flags on the
- 6:20Speaker 7: burial sites of over seven thousand different heroes in our community.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Like this, it's very sweet. Also, tonight they are doing
- 6:28Speaker 7: a free movie in mill Ridge Park where you can
- 6:30Speaker 7: go see Despicable Me four and so there. It starts
- 6:34Speaker 7: at seven o'clock tonight. Four because it's number four, so
- 6:40Speaker 7: it's free. Just all they're saying is bring a blanket
- 6:42Speaker 7: or a lawn chair, and they're gonna have different food trucks.
- 6:44Speaker 7: They're gonna have donut trucks, they're gonna have lemonade stands.
- 6:47Speaker 6: It just looks so cute.
- 6:48Speaker 7: And it's perfect for the whole family because they have
- 6:50Speaker 7: playgrounds and basketball courts and all of this stuff. So
- 6:53Speaker 7: you can bring the kiddos first stay for the movie.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Movie starts at seven o'clock tonight in mill Ridge Park.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Cute.
- 6:59Speaker 6: This one is inside.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Tomorrow the Nashville Cats are playing the Oregon Lightning at
- 7:04Speaker 7: Municipal Auditorium. So that is tomorrow night at five pm.
- 7:07Speaker 7: So the Nashville Cats are our indoor arena football team.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Which did you guys know that we had that?
- 7:12Speaker 1: No?
- 7:13Speaker 7: Yeah, So they play at Municipal Auditorium. It's an indoor
- 7:15Speaker 7: arena football team, and so you can go see their game.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Tomorrow night at five pm.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Love it.
- 7:20Speaker 7: We talked about this a little bit earlier, but Sunday
- 7:22Speaker 7: at the Nashville Sounds at Sunday Family Fun Day at
- 7:25Speaker 7: the park. And what that means is if you have
- 7:27Speaker 7: kiddos you can go get autographs from the players before
- 7:29Speaker 7: the game.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Your kids can go run all of the bases.
- 7:32Speaker 5: At like that always makes me so happy.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We did that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I told you this the other day. We did that
- 7:37Speaker 2: last year. I could still picture my son's little face
- 7:39Speaker 2: just giving it one.
- 7:42Speaker 5: I love that so.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Much, giving it his all.
- 7:44Speaker 7: And the last, but not least, Sunday is the Rhyman
- 7:47Speaker 7: Community Day. So if you've never been to the Ryman downtown,
- 7:50Speaker 7: this is so cool. It's from nine am to four
- 7:52Speaker 7: pm and you go. Just bring your valid ID and
- 7:55Speaker 7: you get free admission to the Ryman where you get
- 7:57Speaker 7: complimentary self guided tours. There's out the activities, there's live
- 8:01Speaker 7: performances throughout the day. So if you've never been to
- 8:03Speaker 7: the Rymen, Sunday is the day to go. It's completely
- 8:05Speaker 7: free with your valent Tennessee State ID. So it's nine
- 8:08Speaker 7: am to four pm on Sunday at the Ryman.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Awesome three days.
- 8:11Speaker 2: You need to know, Yes, yes, just after seven o'clock
- 8:14Speaker 2: on this Friday morning. Happy Friday, friends, Ricky's got those
- 8:17Speaker 2: three things.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Taylor Swift apparently has a chance to buy back her
- 8:21Speaker 4: original recordings from her first six albums. Scooter bron bought
- 8:25Speaker 4: her recordings back in twenty nineteen. He paid three hundred
- 8:28Speaker 4: million dollars for them, and then he sold them to
- 8:30Speaker 4: investment firm Shamrock Capital for profit a year later. Now
- 8:35Speaker 4: Shamrock is apparently looking to sell off the Masters, and
- 8:38Speaker 4: Taylor is being encouraged to buy them by Scooter Braun
- 8:43Speaker 4: and industry insiders, so everyone's saying for her to buy
- 8:46Speaker 4: them back. This whole story has always just been insane
- 8:48Speaker 4: to me. I hate that this is even allowed to happen.
- 8:52Speaker 4: It's such a terrible setup for anybody who's creative or
- 8:55Speaker 4: in that space, who makes songs in the deals that
- 8:58Speaker 4: people writeup.
- 9:00Speaker 5: But just it makes me so angry.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Right, So it's what led to the Taylor's versions.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Of everything exactly.
- 9:05Speaker 4: So they're estimated to be worth now between six hundred
- 9:09Speaker 4: million and one billion dollars, So she would be paying
- 9:12Speaker 4: an astronomical amount of money for her own recordings of
- 9:16Speaker 4: her own voice, of her.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Own song she wrote, so dumb.
- 9:21Speaker 4: It's kind of crazy timing though, too, because her rerecording
- 9:24Speaker 4: of Look What You Made Me Do just premiered on
- 9:26Speaker 4: Handmaid's Tale, meaning that everyone is expecting reputation Taylor's version
- 9:31Speaker 4: to come out soon. So what a lot of you
- 9:33Speaker 4: might be wondering is, if she's already re recorded.
- 9:35Speaker 5: So many albums, why buy back.
- 9:37Speaker 4: The masters Because the rerecorded ones are the ones that
- 9:40Speaker 4: get used more often than not. Apparently, and I didn't
- 9:44Speaker 4: know this until now, all.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Of her old recordings.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Every time she comes out with a tailor's version of anything,
- 9:50Speaker 4: her old recordings skyrocket again in listenership. So she would
- 9:56Speaker 4: just kind of corner the market entirely when it comes
- 9:58Speaker 4: to anything tailor.
- 9:59Speaker 6: And I feel like.
- 10:00Speaker 3: She should own it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I mean, it's hers, she.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Should own it, but she shouldn't have to pay six
- 10:03Speaker 4: hundred million to a.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Billion dollars for it.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Though. That's the frustrating part. I'm anna end of Goyana Ranch.
- 10:08Speaker 4: So I'm just gonna stop there. That's where we're at
- 10:10Speaker 4: right now. I will keep you updated if she decides
- 10:12Speaker 4: to buy them or not. The Korean War Veterans Memorial
- 10:15Speaker 4: Bridge will now have lane closures starting next week.
- 10:19Speaker 5: It's getting new light fixtures.
- 10:20Speaker 4: So closures are going to start Tuesday, May twenty seventh,
- 10:22Speaker 4: and are expected to shift as work progresses.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Through September.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Closures will pause for cmafest regular season Titan games and
- 10:30Speaker 4: Nissan Stadium concerts to ensure the flow of traffic is
- 10:32Speaker 4: not disturbed, so you don't have to worry about that
- 10:35Speaker 4: during very high traffic times.
- 10:37Speaker 5: But just keep it in mind. Every other day and Oscar.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Buyer wienermobile fleet is going to race at Indy five hundred.
- 10:43Speaker 4: This made me unreasonably happy. So for the first time ever,
- 10:47Speaker 4: all six Oscar Mayer wienermobiles will go head to head
- 10:51Speaker 4: in a race during Indy five hundred's Carb Day festivities.
- 10:55Speaker 4: They're calling it the Weeni five hundred. Obviously, duh. It's
- 10:58Speaker 4: gonna feature a hot dog car repping a regional favorite,
- 11:02Speaker 4: so the New York Dog for the East, Slaw Dog
- 11:04Speaker 4: for the Southeast, Chili Dog for the South, and so
- 11:06Speaker 4: on and so forth. It's happening at two pm today
- 11:09Speaker 4: on the Fox Sports app. If you want to watch it,
- 11:11Speaker 4: I mean, who doesn't want to watch a bunch of
- 11:13Speaker 4: wienermobiles race against You have to watch this, right like,
- 11:16Speaker 4: I literally am putting a timer in my phone so
- 11:18Speaker 4: that I know when to watch it.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I'm Rickie Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 11:22Speaker 5: need to know.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Thank you so much, rick you're getting back into the
- 11:24Speaker 2: music with Gracie Abrams.
- 11:25Speaker 3: There is a fact the way we are learning together.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Zach's facts Next on the River.
- 11:31Speaker 5: One O seven Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Well I'm ready, yeah, you ready, three two one zax
- 11:38Speaker 4: goet effect, zax, goet effect, zax get effect. Just for you,
- 11:42Speaker 4: it's one oh seven, five of the river.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Go ahead, back, beautiful interro I've ever heard?
- 11:46Speaker 7: Did you guys know that every single day from now
- 11:48Speaker 7: until May twenty ninth is going to be the same backwards,
- 11:52Speaker 7: Like if you look at the date O five two
- 11:55Speaker 7: three two five, it's the same backwards and it'll be
- 11:58Speaker 7: like that every single day until the twenty nine.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Take off the O at the beginning, and yes, you're like,
- 12:02Speaker 3: it has to start with.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Get rid of the zero.
- 12:04Speaker 2: By that, Yeah, well kind of negated your whole fact.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Okay, well the zero is no longer.
- 12:10Speaker 4: There isn't this called something y ero there you go backwards.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Okay, that was kind of a fact. That was kind
- 12:19Speaker 3: of a fact.
- 12:19Speaker 7: That was kind of a fact just for you. The
- 12:21Speaker 7: fact is Kevin is dead. To man, that's your fact of.
- 12:23Speaker 1: The day, Ricky in the Morning, on.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Someone ever stolen the spotlight from you at your wedding.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Your wedding day is supposed to be all about you.
- 12:33Speaker 4: But did somebody just kind of do something that took
- 12:35Speaker 4: away all that that attention and love and affection.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Why are you looking at me like that, like I'm
- 12:41Speaker 7: planning to do it at your wedding.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Because you've said so many times that you're planning to
- 12:45Speaker 4: do He's Ricky sacond Mano in the morning on one
- 12:48Speaker 4: of seven five the river.
- 12:49Speaker 5: The whole reason this started is actually my fault.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 2: We we found out yesterday that it's a thing that
- 12:55Speaker 2: Ricky and aj do.
- 12:56Speaker 3: They do the lift from dirty dancing at weddings.
- 13:00Speaker 4: We did it one wedding, one wedding we did it
- 13:02Speaker 4: at and then we wanted to make it a thing,
- 13:05Speaker 4: but honestly, I'm not very good at my part.
- 13:07Speaker 2: And you guys, it was during the ceremony they were
- 13:09Speaker 2: exchanging boughs, and then from Ricky's boombox, you hear, no,
- 13:18Speaker 2: if you've been to a wedding, maybe it was your wedding.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Maybe somebody else's, but some thunder was stolen.
- 13:22Speaker 2: The spotlight was stolen. We want to hear that story.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Yes, six one, five, seven, three, seven nine.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And maybe don't invite Ricky to your wedding.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Yeah, guys, I did it once one time, and I
- 13:35Speaker 5: was encouraged by.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The bride seven five the River, Nicky Zach morning, five
- 13:42Speaker 2: the River, Good morning, thank you for being here. A
- 13:44Speaker 2: moment ago, we were talking about how Ricky and AJ
- 13:46Speaker 2: do the dirty dancing lift at every wedding they get.
- 13:48Speaker 5: We did it at one wedding, and they like.
- 13:50Speaker 3: To steal the spotlight from the bride and groen.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 13:54Speaker 2: So we're asking if you have been to a wedding
- 13:56Speaker 2: where somebody stole the spotlight like that.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Amy in Nashville, Good morning. Has this happened to you?
- 14:01Speaker 8: Good morning, Yes, it has happened to me.
- 14:04Speaker 2: What happened?
- 14:06Speaker 8: So at my wedding during the speeches, my cousin got
- 14:10Speaker 8: up to what I thought was gonna be to give
- 14:12Speaker 8: a toast to us, and instead he proposed to his girlfriend.
- 14:16Speaker 5: No, that's the worst nightmare right there.
- 14:20Speaker 3: At your wedding.
- 14:22Speaker 7: At our wedding, the way I would have said, this
- 14:25Speaker 7: man an invoice, because I paid for this wedding and
- 14:28Speaker 7: you just stole the.
- 14:29Speaker 6: Thunder right, It's so true. I mean, yes, did.
- 14:35Speaker 2: They get married? Is that a healthy relationship? Because he
- 14:37Speaker 2: seems a little unhinged.
- 14:39Speaker 8: They did happily married with two sweet little nephews, so
- 14:44Speaker 8: it all, it.
- 14:45Speaker 6: All worked out. Amy.
- 14:45Speaker 7: I don't know how you didn't go to his wedding
- 14:48Speaker 7: and like have a plane in your head to try
- 14:50Speaker 7: and ruin his day.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Oh gosh, I should have thought of that.
- 14:54Speaker 5: You're life and that's a positive thing.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Amy, Thank you for calling.
- 15:00Speaker 6: Thank you guys, have a good day.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Good bye.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Just to be clear, Ricky and Age, I do not
- 15:04Speaker 2: do the dirty dancing lift it every way. They did
- 15:06Speaker 2: it one.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Time time and I was encouraged by the bride to
- 15:09Speaker 5: do it. She literally cleared the dance floor for us
- 15:12Speaker 5: to do it.
- 15:13Speaker 6: Just wait till your wedding day. Ricky Santez has.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Been literally planning since before I even got engaged, of
- 15:20Speaker 4: ways to ruin my wedding.
- 15:22Speaker 6: I'm wearing all white.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Same year.
- 15:24Speaker 6: I'll do.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I'll do whatever you and well, Zach, we have at
- 15:26Speaker 2: least six months to profess the dirty dancing list.
- 15:29Speaker 4: With a veil, he said, like he is insane. The
- 15:33Speaker 4: man's unhinged.
- 15:35Speaker 6: It's like you're throwing me a party.
- 15:36Speaker 5: That's right, every party's for you.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Ricky Zach in the Morning on River.
- 15:42Speaker 4: We got tickets to see Nightly and Jonah Murray May
- 15:45Speaker 4: thirtieth at the Rim and it's going to be an
- 15:47Speaker 4: amazing show. You gotta win Kevin Mano's Game of the
- 15:50Speaker 4: Day presented by Genesis Diamonds to grab these tickets.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Yes, today's last day. I have named that tune Lullaby Edition.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and that show is one week from tonight. If
- 15:59Speaker 2: you want to be there as soon as you hear
- 16:00Speaker 2: this clue is Lullaby six one five, seven, three seven
- 16:04Speaker 2: nine one oh seven.
- 16:05Speaker 3: You just have to identify. That's all you have to do.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I will say, this is the oldest song we've used this.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Whoh how old are we talking? Pretty talking like when
- 16:12Speaker 5: you are a kid.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll you'll know, you'll know it, Ricky, I mean
- 16:15Speaker 2: obviously you know lips seal here, don't say, but here
- 16:19Speaker 2: we go.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Here's today's clue. Turn up your radio.
- 16:21Speaker 2: If you can identify this, call you win.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You know.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's gonna think about it.
- 16:36Speaker 3: You call him, you know it.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Game time Baby one O seven five the River, Ricky
- 16:41Speaker 2: Zach and Menno in the Morning Good morning.
- 16:43Speaker 4: It's one O seven five the River. We're playing Kevin
- 16:45Speaker 4: Bannow's Game of the Day. Name that tune, Lullaby edition
- 16:49Speaker 4: for tickets to see Nightly play the Ryman. This is
- 16:52Speaker 4: going to be such an amazing show. Their first time
- 16:54Speaker 4: playing the Ryman. It's happening May thirtieth. Let's see if
- 16:58Speaker 4: you can name that tune.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Michelle and Hendersonville, Good morning, Good morning, Happy Friday.
- 17:03Speaker 3: What are you doing right now pulling into work?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Do you have a three day weekend? Yeah, let's start
- 17:07Speaker 2: that three day weekend with a win.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Here.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna play your clue one more time. If you
- 17:11Speaker 2: can identify the song, then the tickets are years. Here
- 17:14Speaker 2: we go. Today's lullaby.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Michelle in Hendersonville, name that tune.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Never gonna give you up?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Bye?
- 17:33Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, that's okay, it doesn't matter.
- 17:35Speaker 3: It's Rickley.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Yeah, a classic rick Roll song. Right there? You knew it?
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:43Speaker 4: Congratulations, Love. You're gonna see Nightly May thirtieth at the Ryeman.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Jonah Murray is going to be opening for them. It's
- 17:49Speaker 4: going to be such an amazing night.
- 17:51Speaker 5: I'm so looking forward to it, so congrats.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I appreciate it all right, hang on, have a great
- 17:57Speaker 2: three day weekend, and thank you for listening.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Thank you. Three things you need to know.
- 18:02Speaker 2: A bit past eight o'clock on this Friday morning, beautiful
- 18:05Speaker 2: Friday morning, Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 18:07Speaker 4: The next two Avengers movies have been pushed back by Marvel,
- 18:10Speaker 4: so Avengers Doomsday has moved from May first to December
- 18:14Speaker 4: eighteenth of twenty twenty six, and Avengers' Secret Wars is
- 18:18Speaker 4: moving from May seventh to December seventeenth, twenty twenty seven.
- 18:22Speaker 4: So we're gonna have to wait even longer for these movies.
- 18:25Speaker 4: These two films, though, are among the biggest ever made
- 18:27Speaker 4: according to insiders, and the delays are all there to
- 18:31Speaker 4: allow more time to execute on the Russo Brothers vision
- 18:34Speaker 4: for both of these movies. So while it's a bummer
- 18:36Speaker 4: that we have to wait even longer, hopefully it's going
- 18:38Speaker 4: to pay off in the end. Fingers Crossed influencer Alex
- 18:42Speaker 4: Earl is going to be on Dancing with the Stars,
- 18:44Speaker 4: so the social media star is the second celebrity guest
- 18:47Speaker 4: that they have officially signed for season thirty four of
- 18:49Speaker 4: Dancing with the Stars. Robert Irwin Steve Erwin, the Crocodile
- 18:53Speaker 4: Hunter's son is on is the other celebrity who is
- 18:56Speaker 4: going to be on the show who has been announced.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Alex said that.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Herner Graham I used to watch the show together when
- 19:02Speaker 4: she was little, which is adorable, and that her grandma
- 19:05Speaker 4: would say like, maybe one day you could be on
- 19:07Speaker 4: the show because she loved to dance. So this feels
- 19:09Speaker 4: like a very full circle moment for Alex and she's
- 19:12Speaker 4: very excited to be a part of it.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Season thirty four.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it just keeps going, Dancing with the Stars.
- 19:18Speaker 4: It's fun to watch. I love watching it. So they
- 19:20Speaker 4: were going, we only know two people. I'll keep you
- 19:22Speaker 4: updated on who else is going to be cast and
- 19:25Speaker 4: Salmonila has been linked to cucumbers in Tennessee and a
- 19:28Speaker 4: few other states.
- 19:29Speaker 5: This is just something they keep in mind.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Obviously, you don't want to get sick, especially this holiday weekend.
- 19:35Speaker 5: On May nineteenth, a news.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Release from FDA reported that twenty six people across fifteen
- 19:40Speaker 4: different states got sick because of the outbreak. So these
- 19:44Speaker 4: cucumbers were grown by Bender Growers Incorporated and distributed by
- 19:49Speaker 4: Fresh Fresh Start Produce Sales. It's really hard to know
- 19:53Speaker 4: where your cucumbers are coming from. So honestly, right now,
- 19:56Speaker 4: your best bet is to just avoid the cucumbers as
- 19:59Speaker 4: a whole, because they said that it's cucumbers that are
- 20:02Speaker 4: packaged in groups and also just by themselves. If you're
- 20:06Speaker 4: unsure if your cu covers were grown by these growers,
- 20:09Speaker 4: just throw them away. Save yourself. It's not worth getting sick.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 20:14Speaker 4: need to know the River Reiky, Zach and Menno in
- 20:18Speaker 4: the morning. This is something that we do on Fridays
- 20:20Speaker 4: because throughout the week we pitch a bunch of topics
- 20:23Speaker 4: and not all the topics make the show during the
- 20:25Speaker 4: week because we only have so much time. So right here,
- 20:28Speaker 4: right now, we each have a topic that we want
- 20:31Speaker 4: to bring to the table. We're going to get thirty
- 20:32Speaker 4: seconds to explain our topic and give the full story,
- 20:36Speaker 4: and then we move on to the next one.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Are we ready, I've got my stop watch pulled up here.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Who wants to go first?
- 20:41Speaker 5: I can go first?
- 20:42Speaker 2: Okay, ladies first?
- 20:43Speaker 5: All right, all right?
- 20:44Speaker 4: It started accents that Americans find trustworthy. So it turns
- 20:49Speaker 4: out that, according to this survey, British accents are the
- 20:52Speaker 4: most trustworthy, and they also think that they're the most appealing.
- 20:56Speaker 4: But obviously we're not too shocked by that. What I
- 20:59Speaker 4: was shocked by is that the majority of people during
- 21:01Speaker 4: this survey said that they would trust somebody with a
- 21:04Speaker 4: Southern drawl over somebody who has a New York accent.
- 21:08Speaker 4: New York accents, they said, are the worst ones. Really, Yes,
- 21:11Speaker 4: I know, see your shock too, Ken, I.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Would have thought like Boston or New Jersey.
- 21:14Speaker 6: No, see, I'm the opposite anybody's Southern draw.
- 21:18Speaker 7: I'm like, I don't trust you because you're like, oh,
- 21:20Speaker 7: bless your heart.
- 21:21Speaker 6: People from New York. They are so blunt and well
- 21:24Speaker 6: exactly how exact going on?
- 21:26Speaker 2: You're born and raised here, So I don't take your
- 21:28Speaker 2: word for you.
- 21:29Speaker 5: All right, Tech, you want to go next?
- 21:31Speaker 6: Sure? Okay.
- 21:34Speaker 7: So I saw this whole like Reddit thread about high
- 21:36Speaker 7: school's grads. They're confessing the most unhinged senior prings that
- 21:40Speaker 7: they ever did, and this one just made me laugh
- 21:42Speaker 7: so much. They said we were least five greased pigs
- 21:45Speaker 7: in the school and they were all labeled one, two, three, four, six,
- 21:48Speaker 7: So the administrators were looking for number five.
- 21:50Speaker 5: So I'm obsessed with that.
- 21:55Speaker 6: I was like, that's so smart and it's harmless.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Who ever thought of that?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Next President, Yeah, that's a good one.
- 22:03Speaker 2: That was thirty seconds. Thank you, zach Mine. I'll start
- 22:05Speaker 2: to stop watching for myself. It's about menu items at
- 22:07Speaker 2: restaurants that are just so like embarrassing to say out
- 22:11Speaker 2: loud that you would rather just point at the menu.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And the reason I even brought this up because I
- 22:14Speaker 2: had to talk about there's a popcorn brand called Boom
- 22:17Speaker 2: chick a Pop and I refuse to say it. I can't.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I'm cringing that I just said it right now. But
- 22:23Speaker 2: I just I don't like saying boom chick a Pop.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I don't want to order the rooty tooty, fresh and fruity.
- 22:29Speaker 5: I want you to say it all the time.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I should get an endorsement with Boom chick a Pop.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Your shown's over my hammy, Like, no, nobody wants to
- 22:37Speaker 2: say these things out loud. Don't put them on the menu.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 22:42Speaker 5: While that concludes the leftover there, it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is thank you on the river, Nicky, Zach. And in
- 22:48Speaker 1: the morning.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Friday, friends, it's time for the Daily Devil Tap and
- 22:51Speaker 2: it's about just an icon.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Kermit the Frog. He did the commencement speech last night
- 22:57Speaker 4: and he had a nice little reminder to keep your
- 23:00Speaker 4: dreams live.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, here we go.
- 23:02Speaker 9: It's important to stay connected to your loved ones, stay
- 23:05Speaker 9: connected to your friends, and most of all, stay connected
- 23:08Speaker 9: to your dreams, no matter how big, no matter how
- 23:11Speaker 9: impossible a seen. The truth is dreams or how we
- 23:14Speaker 9: figure out where we want to go, and life is
- 23:18Speaker 9: how we get there.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Because life's like a movie.
- 23:21Speaker 9: Write your own ending, keep believing, keep pretending you've all
- 23:25Speaker 9: done just what you set.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Out to do.
- 23:29Speaker 6: I love it.
- 23:31Speaker 4: He also saying rainbow connection at the graduation, which was
- 23:35Speaker 4: the cutest thing ever.
- 23:36Speaker 6: I love this.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Just iconic.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Whoever's idea that was to have Kermit the Frog here?
- 23:41Speaker 2: The convincement speech is IMPLI sorry, We're gonna put it up.
- 23:44Speaker 2: The double tap always goes up in the Instagram stories
- 23:47Speaker 2: at one O seven five the River on Instagram.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Make sure you are following.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Thank you so
- 23:51Speaker 1: Much, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on the
- 23:55Speaker 1: River
