- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:30coop. So have you ever thought about
- 0:32how many minutes there are in a day?
- 0:34There are 1440 minutes available to us every single day and I
- 0:41like to think of it like those 1440 minutes that we have
- 0:45available to us every single day are moments opportunities.
- 0:51That we can shift our energy, change our trajectory and get
- 0:54our butts back on the right path if we have straight or take
- 0:59ourselves to a whole different level of greatness.
- 1:01Because we know without question, we know without
- 1:04question that those moments of the day are our opportunities.
- 1:09We can always get up and shake it off.
- 1:11You know, there's a tool that I use with my son for doing school
- 1:16work and he'll be sitting there and he'll be struggling with
- 1:19something and I'll say. All right, come on, get up.
- 1:22And I did this with my daughter, too.
- 1:23She got to the habit where she would just do it on her own, I
- 1:26think, get up and change seats at the table.
- 1:28Just get up and change. Get up and walk around to
- 1:30another seat. Like, why?
- 1:32Why do I have to change my seat? Because you have a different
- 1:34perspective of the room of the work.
- 1:36Shake it off, get a drink, start thinking differently.
- 1:39And all of a sudden everything changes.
- 1:42And it's like in that one minute that it took to just get up and
- 1:45move around, all of a sudden everything changes because it's
- 1:49a minute. That's a shift.
- 1:52So each one of those minutes is a way for you to think
- 1:55differently. Now here's the key, A lot of us,
- 1:59and you've heard me quote this before, it's projected, you know
- 2:02that we have between 60 and 80 thousand thoughts a day and 80%
- 2:07of them are repeated from the day before.
- 2:09So when you start thinking about the fact that 80% of your
- 2:12thoughts are repeated from the day before and if they were not
- 2:15resourceful. Wait, frankly, that's incredibly
- 2:19unfortunate because we're reprogramming ourselves for crap
- 2:22and we don't want that. We definitely do not want that,
- 2:26because then we're just going to attract it more.
- 2:28But if you think of it like, okay, I have 1440 minutes to
- 2:32reprogram myself every day, every minute.
- 2:34I can change what I'm thinking, I can change how I'm seeing.
- 2:36I can change what I'm doing and I can move it forward.
- 2:40And think about how amazing that would be if we actually use
- 2:43those minutes as tools instead of just wasting them scrolling
- 2:47and doing things that are unresourceful, not using them
- 2:51for our creativity, using them for our demise.
- 2:54If we just took those 1440 minutes and changed how we
- 2:59actually thought about things in them, said This is an
- 3:02unresourceful thought. I want to change it.
- 3:04This is not serving me. I want to change it.
- 3:07I need to shift this. More if you've done something
- 3:10bad, Like let's just say you've had, you've drank a pop that you
- 3:14know is not something you want to have, and you don't want to
- 3:17fill yourself with high fructose corn syrup, all kinds of crappy
- 3:21sugars. And you did it anyway and you
- 3:23gave yourself, like, I'll just do it, what difference does it
- 3:26make? And then you feel bad.
- 3:28OK, great. That's an excellent sign,
- 3:30because it means you really want to do better.
- 3:34The feeling bad is a sign you want to do better.
- 3:36So the next moment you can do better.
- 3:38You can say you know what, no more.
- 3:41Today. I'm not touching that.
- 3:42Today I'm going to go get a big bottle of water and I'm going to
- 3:44finish my water for the day. That one small step has now
- 3:48changed your path, it's changed your projection, it's changed
- 3:52the direction you're going in. You just have to realize it and
- 3:55celebrate it, because how tremendous would that be to be
- 3:59able to do that? I mean, come on, think about it.
- 4:01How tremendous would that be to be able to do that?
- 4:06And you have so many moments in a day, 1440 to change it.
- 4:11You don't have to feel that way. So choose something better for
- 4:15yourself and make the shift and realize the feeling bad is just
- 4:19a sign that it wants you to do better.
- 4:21It's giving you an opportunity. So take it, jump on it, and
- 4:25don't let go of it. And sometimes it's hard to
- 4:28wrangle it. Sometimes it's like, you have to
- 4:29think it's like riding a bull. You have to be like, OK, I'm
- 4:32going to get thrown off here, or I'm going to be stubborn and I'm
- 4:35not letting go. And even if I do fall off, I'm
- 4:37getting right the hell back on. And I'm going to do this because
- 4:40nothing's going to get the best of me.
- 4:41If I don't want it to, if I don't let it and I don't give it
- 4:44permission, it's not going to get the best of me.
- 4:47So work on that piece, push yourself, do the right things
- 4:51for yourself, and I promise you will have an exceptional,
- 4:55exceptional time. No matter what, when you realize
- 4:59you're working towards utilizing your minutes in the right way,
- 5:03remember you've got 1440 minutes in a day.
- 5:06Don't waste them. All right my friends, I hope you
- 5:09have a blessed day and I will see you all tomorrow.
- 5:11Bye.
