  SPEAKER_01: Maximus.
• 0:16
  SPEAKER_01: Sam.
• 0:17
  SPEAKER_01: We're going to Germany.
• 0:18
  SPEAKER_01: Well, we're not.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_01: We're going to the river stage, but we are joined by Germans.
• 0:21
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, we are.
• 0:22
SPEAKER_02: In probably one of the funnest interviews we've done in a little while, we are joined by Nico and Kevin of Electric Call Boy.
• 0:28
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 0:29
SPEAKER_01: And this was on uh while they're in Australia for their uh the their tour and Tonsnide.
• 0:33
  SPEAKER_01: Tonsnight indeed.
• 0:34
SPEAKER_01: And I'll tell you what, Sam, we you you talked, we already talked on the show about how much you enjoyed that show.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_01: And that same energy from the show is in this interview as well.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_01: They are just all over the place.
• 0:44
  SPEAKER_02: 100%.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_02: You put I mean they were a lot more controlled than we were, which you're saying something, but genuinely one of the funnest sets I've seen this year.
• 0:51
SPEAKER_02: If ADHD was a set, it was that.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_02: Just had everything you could ever want from like hard style drops of all the small things to the heavy stuff to hyper hyper to you know.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_02: What's the boy band shit?
• 1:04
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, so fun.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_02: But um yeah, it was a good chat.
• 1:07
SPEAKER_02: We talked obviously a lot about the album and how Electric Cowboy handle, I guess, songwriting when they're known for being fun and cheeky.
• 1:16
SPEAKER_02: Like how does that creative look?
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 1:20
SPEAKER_02: I think from a storytelling perspective, and where do they get the influence for all their stuff and where does the line like where is the line drawn when it's too stupid?
• 1:29
SPEAKER_01: Or it was quite interesting.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_01: I th I think one of the uh the the best little bits of this interview is specifically their clubbing habits.
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_01: Uh which we get into a little bit here.
• 1:38
SPEAKER_01: So I think uh Sam, over to you to bring us in chatting to Electric Callboy.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_02: Maxwell, we are backstage with Kevin and Nico from Electric Callboy.
• 1:46
SPEAKER_02: Lads, welcome to the show.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_02: Hello, thanks for seeing us.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_02: It's great to have you.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_02: We were talking off-air about the best drink for a hangover.
• 1:55
SPEAKER_02: And Nico, you were saying that white wine is your go-to option.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_02: It's the best to be drunk on, but the come down.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_03: It's just like, I don't know, I don't get a very big hangover when I'm drinking just white wine.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_03: You give me the water.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_03: It's just a very good summer drink, and you don't get so drunk.
• 2:15
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
• 2:16
  SPEAKER_03: That's really impressive.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_03: Whenever I'm having a hangover, it's actually um we have something in uh in Germany.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_03: It's uh uh here this is pulver.
• 2:26
  SPEAKER_03: Uh Elotrans.
• 2:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's called Elotrans.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_03: It's like just I don't know what is it.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_00: It's a mixture of vitamins and you can take it when you when you when you like it.
• 2:36
  SPEAKER_00: It works.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it I never I never tried it, you know.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_00: I did just puke it all.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_00: Several times.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_03: So Ilotrans.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_03: You you have to you have to try it.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_03: It's it's a large part of coffee, to be honest.
• 2:47
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that'll pay you.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_00: Most of the time, a good a good like freshly a fresh orange juice, for example, that is really cold.
• 3:03
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 3:04
  SPEAKER_00: It's like a filter or something.
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 3:06
  SPEAKER_00: It fits good.
• 3:07
  SPEAKER_01: It's cleansing.
• 3:07
  SPEAKER_00: That's my yeah, it's cleansing, that's the word.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_01: I think I think like a beer, just one beer, hair of the dog, be back in the game.
• 3:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, in in Germany we say uh like counter beer, like it makes a lot more sense than the hair of the dog.
• 3:21
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's true.
• 3:22
SPEAKER_00: I always admire, I mean I don't know, I don't know if admire is the right the right word, but uh there are people I have like getting drunk.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: Different people are different, you know.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_00: So when I'm getting drunk, it's drinking more and drinking more, and then I have a climax, and then like it goes up uh downhill from that point, yeah, you know.
• 3:42
SPEAKER_00: But I have friends that keep it like there, you know?
• 3:46
SPEAKER_00: They they keep uh being drunk, and then at the end of the night, yeah, at the same level, and in the morning they're standing next to you, like I can't do that.
• 3:59
  SPEAKER_01: It's a skill, it's a skill.
• 4:00
  SPEAKER_01: It's a skill, really.
• 4:02
SPEAKER_01: We like to start the show the same way every week, which is to find out what you guys are listening to.
• 4:05
SPEAKER_01: So, what's been spinning in your playlist recently?
• 4:08
SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm actually back into 21 Pilots um since we saw them on uh Pink Pop.
• 4:15
  SPEAKER_03: Uh I don't know, man.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_03: Like I'm just a big fan since Blurry Face.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think it's one of the best albums ever made, and uh I can't get rid of them, and I'm I'm just back into it, like listening to them all the time.
• 4:28
SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, that's my band right now.
• 4:31
  SPEAKER_03: Nice, nice, nice.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_03: And and the the last album of Amarosa.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, right.
• 4:37
  SPEAKER_00: Alright.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm um like I I usually listen to music when I'm at home.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_00: I bought a new sound system for my home so I can um play some music there or while I'm driving.
• 4:48
SPEAKER_00: And driving means having most of the time it means having my family with me.
• 4:52
SPEAKER_00: So I went to a little vacation in Denmark uh recently, and um it's always a little fight between me and the kids.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_00: The kids want to hear electric hallway, I hate that.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's really ridiculous.
• 5:04
  SPEAKER_01: That's a flex though.
• 5:04
  SPEAKER_01: That's kind of good.
• 5:05
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I mean I didn't even have to convince them.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_00: It's always like I I show them the new songs and then they are into it and they want to uh listen to it.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_00: But uh they and I'm so happy they are into hard music, you know.
• 5:17
SPEAKER_00: So it's only the fight between the boys, like I have two boys, me and my wife.
• 5:23
SPEAKER_00: So uh it's us against her, which is good.
• 5:27
SPEAKER_00: Um and it's yeah, yeah.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_00: We we I I like to listen to a band called Netherwalker recently, and and they are pretty hard.
• 5:35
SPEAKER_00: I I like hard music in general, you know.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: And um it's the fun part about it is my my my wife has always been into like hard music, but not hard, hard music.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and whenever I'm putting that tune on, she's like but she endures it, you know.
• 5:53
SPEAKER_00: She she's like she got used to it all uh the uh over the years, so I'm so happy to be like and she's like that's love, yeah.
• 6:04
  SPEAKER_00: That's that's really love.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so Netherwalker would be my my core.
• 6:08
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, alright.
• 6:09
SPEAKER_01: Well, both are good both good selections.
• 6:11
SPEAKER_01: Uh congratulations on Tonsnine, the new album.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_01: It's just out as we speak now.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_01: I mean, we've seen already some some pretty massive fan reactions, but uh, how are you guys feeling now that it's out in the world and and people are listening to it?
• 6:22
SPEAKER_01: Actually, it feels like having a baby.
• 6:23
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 6:24
SPEAKER_01: Um the same amount of pain physically.
• 6:27
SPEAKER_03: It's actually more work, but um but like the result is actually I don't know, it's it's just crazy to know that like the amount of work that we put into that album um is finally finally over, I would say, and that we are able to play every single song live, and it's just such a good feeling.
• 6:45
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, totally.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: Because uh I mean you can't call it work.
• 6:49
SPEAKER_00: We're we live our dream, you know, we're in the studio, and whenever we feel like doing something, it's most of the time it's music, you know.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_00: And then uh there is a new song all of a sudden.
• 6:59
SPEAKER_00: But uh I I have to say this time it took us a little bit uh more time because we've been on tour so much the the last couple of years, and uh we're gonna change that for the future, that's for sure.
• 7:10
SPEAKER_00: We learned a lot during that songwriting process, but um I have to say the same.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_00: It it feels like it's not real work, as I said, but it's more like you can now celebrate it.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_00: Being on tour means celebrating what you've done before.
• 7:24
SPEAKER_03: And actually the like all the pressure that was rising over the last couple of months before the release, it's just it's just gone.
• 7:31
SPEAKER_00: It's like when when you when you give in your exams or your finals, you know, and you you've been working on, and then it's it, you can't change anything.
• 7:38
SPEAKER_00: So now it's up to the professor to decide or the people out there to decide if they like it or not.
• 7:44
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 7:44
SPEAKER_01: Well, hopefully you guys are passing, you're getting all like high marks and stuff, you'll be sweet.
• 7:48
  SPEAKER_01: Ah, yeah, yeah.
• 7:50
SPEAKER_02: Well, the album itself, it's stupidly fun, as we've come to know from Electric Callway.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_02: And it's one of the things I feel like people gravitate towards with you guys.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_02: It's fun, it's tongue in cheek at times, but it's also so catchy and heavy and dancey.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_02: But when you're in the writing phase, I'm interested to know is it liberating sort of just coming up with these silly different storylines together as friends, or is it really hard to sort of pinpoint, you know, where the songs go?
• 8:19
SPEAKER_00: Most of the time it's uh the stories come up when we experience something on tour, you know, such uh things like uh meeting the elevator operator.
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: You know, we actually met uh elevator operator and he gave us the idea for that song.
• 8:30
SPEAKER_03: Or yeah, during the shoot of like uh the music video for elevator operator, we had that guy that was playing him, Uke Bosser.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_03: He's actually a good friend of us right now, and uh he came up with the idea for Tanzai because he was dropping that word that we never heard of.
• 8:43
SPEAKER_03: And we just looked at each other like Yeah.
• 8:48
SPEAKER_00: So we always we are always inspired by what is around us.
• 8:52
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 8:52
SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, um you sometimes I mean when you start writing an album when there is no song at all, it it's like starting from scratch, you know, you just do what you feel like, but uh uh from a certain point up, it's more like oh we have that song and that song, you know, and then you write on purpose.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_00: And then it can get a little bit harder because then you decide to, oh now we write a hard or a serious song, for example.
• 9:18
SPEAKER_00: And of course we have a lot of topics to write about.
• 9:20
SPEAKER_00: And to be honest, like the last songs we we wrote, still a little bit uh sarcastic, but still they were a little bit different because they they uh approached a more serious topic, I would say, with Hardclub, for example, or Savia.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_00: Because it was written in a time during a time we came home from tour and we had time to watch some news and uh watch the media and it was just shit around us, you know, like what the fuck is going on in this world, you know?
• 9:49
SPEAKER_03: That was so cool because like we had all those fun songs that we wanted to have already and it was it was actually pretty good because we wanted to have like two more heavy or more serious songs, and then it was pretty easy to do it for us because we felt it like it was really uh the mood that we've been in.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, so to answer your question, it depends really.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: We had songs that been written in within one or two days, and some took us forever, you know.
• 10:17
SPEAKER_01: As Sam mentioned, you guys do the dance side really well, you do the heavy side really well, and you do the blend really well, which is like you know, perfect for the electric callboy sound.
• 10:26
SPEAKER_01: What how do you guys approach the moments when maybe you've got the dance part worked out, you're like, okay, we need a breakdown, how do we build that?
• 10:32
SPEAKER_01: Or vice versa, you've got this heavy breakdown, but you're like, someone throw some crazy synth stings in here.
• 10:38
SPEAKER_01: What's the approach in the studio?
• 10:40
SPEAKER_03: I would say it depends on the song.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_03: I mean, if it's a song like um I don't know, Tun Snight, for example, or Elevator Operator, we knew that this like both breakdowns will be more electronic.
• 10:56
SPEAKER_03: Like very yeah, I don't know, like that techno kind of style.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_03: We wanted to force it in that song because it it just matched the style of that song.
• 11:04
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 11:05
SPEAKER_03: Um but if you are like, I don't know, like when we're about to write a song like Heartclub or The Saviour, it it's not the same.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_03: So we're still trying to mix up everything and we still have that that techno component in it, but um usually I would say it depends on the song.
• 11:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, totally.
• 11:20
SPEAKER_00: The tempo and everything in it is that we sometimes we we go through some libraries, we have like sound libraries, or uh we use some some VST instruments, you know, like uh inspiration is everywhere, but um, most of the time it's our um uh guitar player Daniel that comes up with a cool riff or something, you know what I mean?
• 11:39
SPEAKER_00: And he uh has an idea for um a breakdown, for example, and then I I can't even explain.
• 11:47
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the song dictates what's next, you know.
• 11:50
SPEAKER_00: So it's more like a feeling, you know.
• 11:52
SPEAKER_00: And it's the same with lyrics.
• 11:54
SPEAKER_00: If you listen to um um if you listen to an instrumental, for example, sometimes the topic for lyrics comes from itself because it's self-explaining.
• 12:04
SPEAKER_00: You get the feeling that you get, and it feels the same when we when we add parts to a song.
• 12:10
SPEAKER_00: So for example, the elevator operator, like the techno part, yeah, you know, it felt like it can't break down to a halftime, you know, at this point.
• 12:20
SPEAKER_00: It it had to go fast, yeah.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_00: So but that's the magic, you know.
• 12:26
SPEAKER_00: Like you never actually can control that.
• 12:29
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it turns out bad, sometimes it turns out good.
• 12:32
SPEAKER_00: You will never hear the the things that we don't yeah, because they end up in our B and C folder.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_01: And so you're not spending too long uh in the club trying to find some inspiration from like techno DJs or you mean like going to parties?
• 12:46
SPEAKER_03: I mean if we do.
• 12:47
SPEAKER_03: We are the most boring guys on earth.
• 12:49
  SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not kidding.
• 12:50
SPEAKER_03: Like the thing is we we are having people around us, no privacy, just being on the road for like all year long, like all the time.
• 12:59
SPEAKER_03: And whenever I'm home, dude, I don't want to go to any fucking parties.
• 13:03
  SPEAKER_03: Like, not at all.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_03: I just want to stay at home, having spending some time with friends and family.
• 13:07
SPEAKER_03: When it's like a house party or something, that's something else.
• 13:10
  SPEAKER_03: I love that.
• 13:11
SPEAKER_03: It's just like standing there, having a drink, having a chat, but going into like like to a club, yeah, all that's very rare.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, really, I'm not kidding.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I mean we uh we both have kids, you know, and and and since we lived that life, it it it changed a little bit.
• 13:27
SPEAKER_00: Like uh when we started the band, it came all from that nature, you know.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_00: We were always partying everywhere and nowhere.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_03: It's what's uh once they are 18 or older, we're going with them.
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, embarrass embarrass them.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_01: You guys will be DJing, and I'll be like, oh, we know those guys.
• 13:44
  SPEAKER_01: You know what?
• 13:45
SPEAKER_00: You know what Nico said is like um since we're doing that job, it's more like we found our peace in our job.
• 13:52
SPEAKER_00: You know, we're partying all the time, actually, like when we're on tour, when we're on stage, you know, and most of the time uh sometimes it happens that we go out after the show, maybe tonight having a drink or something, you know.
• 14:04
SPEAKER_00: And that leads to the fact that at home we're getting much quieter.
• 14:08
SPEAKER_00: But as you say, when there is a house party, yeah, it sometimes ends up uh being a rave.
• 14:14
SPEAKER_00: I I love to put on some hardcore music like the the techno music.
• 14:17
SPEAKER_03: The thing it the my problem is actually whenever I'm like somebody is actually like, oh come on, come on, come on, let's go, let's go, like when we're on tour.
• 14:27
SPEAKER_03: And um they actually convinced me to go with go with them.
• 14:30
  SPEAKER_03: I can't stop them.
• 14:32
SPEAKER_03: There's there's like the point of no return.
• 14:34
SPEAKER_03: Once I'm I'm having my first beer, then it's on.
• 14:37
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, let's fucking go.
• 14:38
SPEAKER_03: So that was actually tonight.
• 14:40
SPEAKER_03: I was going to the 7-Eleven, like I don't know, like 11 30 or something, because I had a craving for chocolate, and I just went down the road, dude, like parties everywhere, like on every single corner.
• 14:53
SPEAKER_03: Drunk people having the best time of their lives, and I was just walking around with my 7-Eleven back like I didn't want to be there.
• 15:04
SPEAKER_03: Oh nice, I like that.
• 15:06
SPEAKER_02: Well, changing subject slightly, if we can, I'd love to talk about the still waiting cover on the album because the storyline behind all of that and how Frank came to be you know a part of Electric Callboy is sort of in Australian festival folklore a little bit.
• 15:21
SPEAKER_02: We were at the Good Things Festival where that all kicked off, but for our international listeners, can you give them a bit of insight into I guess how that came to be and the journey from that that day to now?
• 15:34
SPEAKER_03: Uh it was just a bunch of emergencies during one day.
• 15:39
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like the first one for Frank and for some 41, because Derek got sick and they couldn't play.
• 15:45
SPEAKER_03: So they actually asked us if we could fill in, like taking their slot, headlining.
• 15:51
  SPEAKER_03: We're like, uh yeah.
• 15:53
SPEAKER_03: And then the next message came like David couldn't play.
• 15:58
SPEAKER_03: He just messaged us like I'm I'm going home tomorrow, I can't play.
• 16:02
SPEAKER_03: And then it was like, Cool, don't know what to do.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_03: And I think it was actually Ian that knew the tour manager of some form.
• 16:08
SPEAKER_00: There was a connection somewhere, and uh we met up, and then it was like, Yeah, I'm I'm gonna learn your set, give me some time, you know, and we're like, okay.
• 16:17
  SPEAKER_00: So um six hours.
• 16:20
SPEAKER_00: It it it was a very crazy situation for all of us, but uh like starting differently, I I can say we've been confronted with so many different uh yeah hard situations in our band's history, and I really learned not to be afraid of anything, you know.
• 16:39
SPEAKER_00: Like I'm I I think that most of it is in our hands.
• 16:43
SPEAKER_00: We can can direct a lot of things in our in our life, but uh some things you can't.
• 16:49
SPEAKER_00: And uh when you have a positive mind and when you keep up your good vibes, you know, most of the time it turns out to be good in the end.
• 16:58
SPEAKER_00: It's very vague to say that, but um, I can tell you, uh two years later, uh it's crazy when when when David, for example, uh decided he doesn't want to be part of the band anymore, and I actually Frank was the first we thought about.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_00: It was like, yeah, why not?
• 17:15
  SPEAKER_00: I mean he's free.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_00: It's a little bit complicated with his movie, uh with his uh living situation because he's not in Germany.
• 17:21
SPEAKER_03: I mean he told us that he wants to go on, and he was one of the some 41 members that actually didn't want to stop making music, like he just wanted to go on, and uh yeah, yeah, and then we called him we called him like are you free this summer?
• 17:36
SPEAKER_00: Want to play some festivals?
• 17:37
SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Yeah, let me organize some things, you know.
• 17:40
SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden Frank showed up in fucking Castro Braux, which is our hometown.
• 17:45
SPEAKER_00: It's like like hi guys, with this backpack.
• 17:48
SPEAKER_03: And the thing is, he is so so dedicated, like he loves to be in this band, you can tell, and he has the most of fun.
• 17:57
SPEAKER_03: And every single night, I'm laughing my ass off.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_03: Like, can't really, it's hard for me to sing because during our 80s section in the set, do yourself a favor, just watch him.
• 18:10
SPEAKER_03: Because he looks so funny.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_03: Because he he don't wanna like he doesn't want to get rid of his mohawk.
• 18:17
  SPEAKER_03: Hell yeah.
• 18:18
SPEAKER_03: So like all the wigs, all the wigs he's wearing just over the happen just in the back, you know, like there's no party in the front, it's just party on top.
• 18:31
  SPEAKER_03: It's so funny, man.
• 18:33
  SPEAKER_03: I love it.
• 18:34
SPEAKER_03: But but he's like, I don't know, like when you when you're looking at him, you would never I would never thought that he's down like to do that like that goofy stuff, but he's he's so we were so afraid to ask him for like for the tons of video, but but he's always so dedicated as he says, and uh yeah, we're absolutely happy to have him.
• 18:54
  SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_01: Well, we are at the river stage.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_01: Uh you guys are gonna hit the stage tonight.
• 18:58
SPEAKER_01: And the live show, if if listeners, if you haven't seen it, it's fucking incredible.
• 19:01
SPEAKER_01: It's one of the best we've ever seen.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_01: I mean, musically, it's great, but also the live experience.
• 19:06
SPEAKER_01: I thought you would say, like, musically, it's fucking terrible.
• 19:12
SPEAKER_01: Musically and with the live experience, it's so fun.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_01: How much how much do you think about the live show when you're in the studio and those moments that come to life?
• 19:22
SPEAKER_03: I would I would say whenever we start writing writing a song, it's always made for the stage.
• 19:28
SPEAKER_03: So um we are thinking like during the writing process of every song, we're thinking about how we could do it live and and is it gonna work?
• 19:37
SPEAKER_03: And like when the album was finished, or like whenever we are planning a new tour, it's actually a lot of yeah.
• 19:46
SPEAKER_00: I mean, we it's just it's a lot of brain power that goes into our shows, and we have a great team that we discuss things with.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_00: Most of the time it's money that gives us the limits, you know, because like oh I want to have lasers and that and this and that, and then they show us the price for that and the cost, and we're like, oh okay, we stick to the confetti.
• 20:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but but to be honest, to be honest, like whenever we write songs, um, and it's since we reunited with Nico.
• 20:10
SPEAKER_00: Whenever we write songs, we think about the life situation because of course it's nice to listen to music uh during uh through like in your car, wherever, but live music is the best, you know, that's what music is made for, and uh also music videos.
• 20:23
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh, we're thinking about music videos.
• 20:25
SPEAKER_00: Whenever we write a song, it's more like oh that must be a funny situation, a video then, you know, like and uh but this is how the world is right now.
• 20:34
SPEAKER_00: It's three three sixty, it feels like like music has to be everywhere, you have to be on social media, you have to be a good life performer, entertainer.
• 20:43
SPEAKER_00: It's not only about the music anymore, it's yeah, it's about what people see, what's in between the songs, and um but we're giving our best, you know, and as as as long as people like what we're doing, we're the happy people on stage.
• 20:57
SPEAKER_01: Well, listeners, listen to Tunznard wherever you get your uh pronunciated that really good.
• 21:03
SPEAKER_01: It's for ein bisschen Deutsch.
• 21:05
SPEAKER_01: Oh nice, nice, that was amazing.
• 21:06
SPEAKER_00: Kind of yeah, it's that good.
• 21:08
SPEAKER_01: Um well I'm gonna start that again because I fucked it up anyway.
• 21:11
SPEAKER_01: Listeners, catch Tunznade uh wherever you get your music.
• 21:14
SPEAKER_01: It's the latest album from Call from Electric Callboy.
• 21:16
  SPEAKER_01: I fucked it again.
• 21:17
  SPEAKER_01: How do I manage a small?
• 21:18
  SPEAKER_01: God damn.
• 21:22
SPEAKER_01: I can do the German better than I can do the English.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_01: Uh obviously catch them live uh here in Australia or across Europe and the UK through January and March next year.
• 21:29
