- 0:19Happy Thursday and thank you for listening to
- 0:23your favorite ever forever favorite podcast,
- 0:28the living freed podcast. I'm your host that
- 0:31seems to be forever sick, um, reality TV obsessed,
- 0:37and can't seem to stop complaining about the
- 0:39cold weather, Hannah Liz. This week, what I have
- 0:44been up to since, well, you're going to hear
- 0:46it, um, I'm still sick. Yeah, y 'all. Now, I
- 0:50do want to pre -apologize because I pre -recorded
- 0:53this last episode on one of the quote unquote
- 0:55days I felt better. I do not sound better. I
- 0:59don't. In fact, I think I probably sound better
- 1:01today than I did the day I recorded. But if you
- 1:04knew how much work goes into recording, you would
- 1:06know I'm not giving it a second shot. Yeah. Anyways,
- 1:11so I'm still sick. Start praying that God, if
- 1:15he sees it fit, which he does, he totally sees
- 1:18it fit. That was me being dramatic. heals me
- 1:20because i can't live like this anymore i don't
- 1:22know a single day in my life that i haven't been
- 1:24sick i feel like i've had a cold for all 28 years
- 1:28on this earth even though it's only been a few
- 1:30weeks but my job feels the same way everyone's
- 1:33like wow you're still sick even my clients are
- 1:34like last time i saw you you were wearing a mask
- 1:36and i'm like yeah barbara i'm still sick I'm
- 1:40still sick so sorry y 'all have to hear me like
- 1:43this. I do want to let you know that the episode
- 1:45today is only part one. There will only be two
- 1:48parts but it was such a fun episode to do and
- 1:50record and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did
- 1:53because it was very enlightening for me to do.
- 1:57What I've been up to this week is I have changed
- 2:02my hair color so if you see me in public you
- 2:04probably won't recognize me. I look like Lindsay
- 2:06Lohan. I'm just kidding. I look nothing like
- 2:08Lindsay Lohan. um yeah changed my hair color
- 2:10i have introduced my roommate to the show the
- 2:15traders which ps i really want to get onto so
- 2:18i'm probably going to fill out an application
- 2:19and hopefully i go m .i .a for a little while
- 2:21because i'll be on the show that's the plan that's
- 2:26on my bingo card for 2026 for filming if that's
- 2:30when they film if they not if not then 2027 yeah
- 2:33Anyways, obsessed with the traders. Also just
- 2:36started watching Landman. Seems like all I do
- 2:38is watch TV lately, but I am reading a book called
- 2:41When the Moon Hatched, and it's really good.
- 2:44It's just a long read, y 'all. It's like 800
- 2:47pages, and I think I've talked about this a million
- 2:49times at this point. I don't know if I've even
- 2:50shared the pain I've been in trying to finish
- 2:52this book, but here we are. Yeah, super fun stuff.
- 2:55What is in? I should have thought about this
- 2:58beforehand. Okay, we'll go super simple. What's
- 3:02in is red hair. Red hair is cute. Red hair is
- 3:05fashionable. Red hair, red tones, red highlights,
- 3:10all of it. Super in, super cute. Big fan. Big,
- 3:14big, big fan. What's out? Dating apps. I hate
- 3:17it. I hate my life. I hate being on them. I don't
- 3:19want to text anyone. I don't want to go on a
- 3:21date with anyone because they all can't even
- 3:23hold a conversation over text. Much less in person.
- 3:27So I want to get off. Well, all my old clients
- 3:30are way too invested and they really want me
- 3:32to date And by all kinds, it means super old
- 3:35people Like in their 70s, they're very invested.
- 3:39So I feel like I need to do this. I really don't
- 3:41want to it's not fun. Oh and What's going on
- 3:45is I just joined a freedom group that starts
- 3:48on Monday so Yeah I'm excited to do that. I have
- 3:54no idea what to expect. I'm super pumped. One
- 3:56of my old clients is teaching it. Older clients
- 3:59is teaching it. Gosh, she listens to this. I
- 4:01hope her feelings don't get hurt. She's someone's
- 4:03grandma. Super cool. Super spunky. Honestly,
- 4:07she acts like she's my age, which is why we vibe,
- 4:09but she is someone's grandma. She's teaching
- 4:13it. I can't wait. I'm pumped. That's all I have.
- 4:16Honestly, I feel like I have more to tell y 'all,
- 4:18but I can't remember anything. I'm going to Florida.
- 4:21Next week to see Serena. I'm super pumped for
- 4:24that. She's gonna record an episode with me So
- 4:26look forward to that in the future Bible studies
- 4:29tonight Second week in a row super pumped for
- 4:32that. Can't wait to get into it last week some
- 4:35old ladies I need old ladies had a book club
- 4:38and they took our space and I had to be all polite
- 4:40and southern I was like, are y 'all gonna start
- 4:42doing this every Wednesday because my Bible study
- 4:45usually meets here at 630 What's y 'all's plan?
- 4:47And they were like, no, no, no, no, no, no just
- 4:49like once a month And I said, oh, dope, cool,
- 4:52love that. And then some really cool girls came
- 4:55that I've never met before. So I was pumped to
- 4:58meet them. I hope to be friends with them. Loki,
- 5:01Loki. They seemed cool. And that's it. Oh, it
- 5:07might snow, ice. It might ice this weekend in
- 5:10Wilmington. Wish us luck. I don't know. If it's
- 5:14ice, I'm not going to be happy. If it's snow,
- 5:16I'm going to be really, really pumped. If it
- 5:18doesn't affect my trip going to Florida like
- 5:20flying out later, but um with its ice Gross and
- 5:25it's like a 40 % chance which means 40 % the
- 5:28area is gonna be ice 10 % the area is gonna be
- 5:31snow and ice 10 % of the area 40 % the area is
- 5:34gonna be ice and water rain and then like 10
- 5:38% just rain So basically black ice everywhere.
- 5:42Now I think about it. Pray for us. Pray for Wilmington.
- 5:45Will we survive this? I don't know. We might
- 5:46survive hurricanes, but I don't think we're going
- 5:48to survive the ice storm of twenty twenty six.
- 5:53All right. OK, let's dive into this week's episode.
- 6:01I don't know about you all, but I think. Some
- 6:05of the most simple subjects in the Bible are
- 6:08easily mentioned and lost over in church, but
- 6:10not talked about enough for us to have a full
- 6:13understanding. Like they kind of just briefly
- 6:16talk about them and then move on, like the rest
- 6:18of us totally understand it on their level, or
- 6:21that it's really not that deep. So why talk about
- 6:24it on a deep level? One of those subjects for
- 6:27me is the producing of fruit. I always thought
- 6:30producing fruit was bringing people to Jesus
- 6:33and saving them. But after starting this journey,
- 6:39I've learned that it's not only that. I was almost
- 6:43ashamed, though, if I'm going to be honest, because
- 6:45I'm not the type to go out there and talk to
- 6:47the lady at the grocery store or be walking on
- 6:50my usual walking path and just stop the person
- 6:53next to me and be like, hey, have you met Jesus
- 6:55Christ, our Lord and Savior? Yeah, no, that's
- 7:00not me. And I was starting to feel ashamed. I've
- 7:03always kind of been more like an action speak
- 7:06louder than words. And then when people ask me
- 7:08anything about myself, I'm very upfront about
- 7:11my love for God. All that to say, I was, I've
- 7:16been ashamed. I started to feel ashamed for not
- 7:18being out there and just quote unquote, trying
- 7:19to save people. But I've learned that fruit is
- 7:22living in the spirit and the fruits that are
- 7:25produced and living the spirit are Love, joy,
- 7:29peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
- 7:32gentleness, and self -control. But what does
- 7:35it mean when it comes to fruit? And how is it
- 7:39produced in our lives? Something I've also come
- 7:42to realize is that you can't have good without
- 7:44knowing the bad. So let's talk about the bad.
- 7:49But before that, I think it's important to know
- 7:51what passage of the Bible I'm reading. So let's
- 7:55get into that first Galatians 5 22 is what i'm
- 7:59going to read but I want to let you know before
- 8:01that in verse um 19 verse 19 going into 22 it
- 8:11talks about the flesh and uh it talks about works
- 8:17of the flesh so not fruits of the flesh but works
- 8:20of the flesh and I believe that the works of
- 8:22the flesh are the opposite of the fruits of the
- 8:25spirit um because works here in action fruit
- 8:28is something that is produced flesh obviously
- 8:32is what is typically thought of negatively not
- 8:37physically talking about your flesh but worldly
- 8:39things and the spirit is the holy spirit given
- 8:43to us by god okay If you wanted me to go over
- 8:48that list, I would, but honestly, I think y 'all
- 8:50can understand that it's probably just, not even
- 8:53probably, it talks about, for example, jealousy
- 8:55and sexual immorality or anger. So those would
- 8:58not be works of the flesh. I think you can fill
- 9:01in the blank for the rest. But let's talk about
- 9:04the fruits of the spirit. So it says in verse
- 9:0622, and I'm honestly going to read to 25, but
- 9:10the fruit of the spirit Notice how Paul doesn't
- 9:35say the fruit are, but that the fruit is. which
- 9:39is referring to the identity, not a negotiable
- 9:42quality. You can't say, oh, I have this fruit
- 9:46of the spirit, but I don't have the other because
- 9:48honestly, it just like doesn't go with my personality.
- 9:51Or I just don't think it's that important. Or
- 9:55I just don't have space in my life to produce
- 9:58that fruit because it's just not serving me well.
- 10:03No, those are not options. It is part of the
- 10:06personality that comes with the spirit. It is
- 10:09not a quality that we get to decide on. It is
- 10:11the identity that comes with it. And our identity
- 10:14is found in who? In Christ. Okay. I don't know
- 10:17why all these like memorized things come into
- 10:19my brain and it's just like my vocal system.
- 10:22I just have to say it out loud. So sorry. So
- 10:24we can't choose one fruit over the other. Let's
- 10:27just be very clear on that getting into it. So
- 10:30what does the opposite look like? when it comes
- 10:36to the fruits of the spirit. I think we should
- 10:38start off pretty obvious because, you know, the
- 10:40first one is love that is mentioned, and Jesus
- 10:43talks about love a lot. So the opposite of that
- 10:45would be hate. Next would be joy versus misery.
- 10:52And honestly, let me just say this. The joy of
- 10:54the Lord is real. If you're choosing... not if
- 10:57you are actively choosing to not live in it if
- 11:00you are a miserable person and i mean christians
- 11:03who are miserable human beings to be around and
- 11:06this is for you y 'all are miserable and you're
- 11:09not living in the joy of the lord and that's
- 11:11a choice and therefore you're not partaking in
- 11:13the fruit of the spirit and that is also a choice
- 11:16okay anyway sorry then we have peace versus anxiety
- 11:21i want to say this i do not think having anxiety
- 11:24is a sin I do believe though that mental health
- 11:30is so real and anxiety is a production, like
- 11:33it's produced by mental health, but also we get
- 11:36to choose some things. Like I have a friend that
- 11:40actually have a couple friends. They choose to
- 11:42be anxious. They choose it. I was on a trip with
- 11:44one. Puerto Rico and I swear she chose to be
- 11:48anxious about the littlest things and she would
- 11:51make a big deal of it out of it and she got mad
- 11:53at us for not being anxious with her and real
- 11:55like anxiety anxiety is real like that is a mental
- 11:58health thing but there are some things that we
- 12:00have to choose and even the Bible says like do
- 12:02not worry about tomorrow for the day hasn't happened
- 12:04yet we have a choice okay sorry that's my second
- 12:08tangent I'm gonna stop with that I'm so sorry
- 12:10but I just didn't want someone to like feel like
- 12:12they're sinning if you have anxiety you're not
- 12:15For patience, it would be impatience, or hear
- 12:18me out, anger. For kindness, I would say cruelty.
- 12:24We have selfishness versus goodness, unfaithful
- 12:27versus faithful, harsh versus gentle, and impulsive
- 12:35versus self -control, which is where the verse
- 12:38ends. Now let's break down every spiritual fruit
- 12:42and how they look in our life or they should
- 12:45be showing up first Let's talk about love This
- 12:51love which is also the same love slash word for
- 12:55agape It's the term used when God talks about
- 12:58his love for us is Supposed to be unconditional.
- 13:02It's sacrificial and it's kind of like the trunk
- 13:06of a tree that's the foundation of the fruit
- 13:09being produced um yeah that's all i have let's
- 13:15talk about how the bible defines love though
- 13:17we all know the famous verse spoken at any christian
- 13:20wedding ever and if you don't well don't worry
- 13:25because i'll tell you it now it says love is
- 13:27patient love is kind love love does not envy
- 13:32or boast, it is not ignorant or rude, it does
- 13:35not insist on its own way, it is not irritable
- 13:38or resentful, it does not rejoice in wrongdoing,
- 13:42but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things,
- 13:46believes all things, helps all things, and endures
- 13:50all things. 1 John 4 16 says, So we have come
- 13:55to know and to believe the love that God has
- 13:58for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love
- 14:01abides in God, and God abides in him. This tells
- 14:05us that love is in God's nature. It's part of
- 14:08the core of who He is. 1 Corinthians 1 ,13 says,
- 14:13So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three,
- 14:18but the greatest of these is love. So love really
- 14:22is, as I said earlier, that foundation of it
- 14:25all. everything that God has done, he has done
- 14:27it in love, just as we should. Okay, next is
- 14:30joy. Joy is a gladness deeply rooted in God.
- 14:36It's independent from circumstance. It's not
- 14:38affected by the weather or friendship. It's not
- 14:43affected if our lattes were made correctly at
- 14:45Starbucks or not. And it's not affected by the
- 14:48hardships of life too. I know, trust me, I know
- 14:51it seems so much easier for me to say but I've
- 14:55experienced hardships believe me y 'all um let
- 14:59me share one of those hardships now from 2025
- 15:02in August I want to say my older brother was
- 15:06an idiot and he fell off at the top of a very
- 15:08very tall building and he died he died I think
- 15:15like two or three times only twice on site maybe
- 15:19more back at the hospital Basically no one knew
- 15:23what was gonna happen and I remember this girl
- 15:26at my church texted like a friend of a friend
- 15:28of mine and was like you should really tell that
- 15:30family that like I just feel like they need to
- 15:32be joyful in the moment and I wanted to like
- 15:34smack this stranger because I was like homie
- 15:37you don't know me but what best believe if it's
- 15:40one thing I know how to do it's how to have joy
- 15:42in God and the hard times of life. I really truly
- 15:46do. Like, life can be knocking me down and the
- 15:49last thing I'm gonna do is like, not find joy
- 15:52in the Lord. Anyways, so we spent days in the
- 15:55hospital with him and my poor mom slept there.
- 15:59I don't know how she did that. Ugh, not gonna
- 16:02beat me. And we weren't sure. Honestly, the first
- 16:06day, the second day... What to expect and what
- 16:09was gonna happen and honestly day one if he was
- 16:11gonna make it but following that I will say having
- 16:14joy in the lord gave me peace In the present
- 16:18and in that situation to be who I needed to be
- 16:21To show up for my family at that time um So during
- 16:29all of that I still had joy and Actually, Nehemiah
- 16:348 10 says, do not be grieved for the joy of the
- 16:37Lord is your strength. And let me say after all
- 16:40of that, I still felt strong, not physically
- 16:43or mentally or emotionally, but I felt strong
- 16:46in my heart and to be able to show up in any
- 16:50way needed at that time. Okay. Um, Romans 15
- 16:5513 says, may the God of hope fill you with joy
- 17:00and peace and believing. so that by the power
- 17:03of the Holy Spirit, you may abide in hope. My
- 17:07understanding of this verse is that our joy is
- 17:09God -given. We can't create it. We can't build
- 17:12it up. We can decide to actively live in it,
- 17:15but it comes naturally from the Holy Spirit.
- 17:19Lastly, Proverbs 17 -22 says, a joyful heart
- 17:22is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries
- 17:25up the bones. What do you think this means? I'll
- 17:29give you a few seconds. Okay. My mom has always
- 17:33said when I was a kid growing up, if you're mad,
- 17:36you just gotta get glad again. Ugh, it used to
- 17:39piss me off to hear her say that to me. But as
- 17:43I've gotten older, I have found it to be so freaking
- 17:46true. I won't let someone steal my joy, and I
- 17:50won't let the enemy steal my joy, and I will
- 17:52have my joy be the fruit that is good medicine.
- 17:56Now. That is not to take away from there is a
- 17:59time and a place, for we are to mourn with those
- 18:02who are mourning, but as Psalms 30 verse 5 says,
- 18:06there is joy in the morning, aka joy must come
- 18:10eventually. It's never far off. Next is peace.
- 18:15Ugh. Peace is a gift from God, y 'all. This word
- 18:20in the Bible is often also linked to the word
- 18:24covenant, meaning there is a covenantal relationship,
- 18:28not just between you and God, but also between
- 18:31us and the peace promised by God. Now, biblically,
- 18:35it does not mean there will be a lack of conflict,
- 18:38but that we will have a feeling of wholeness
- 18:42while being in harmony because of the Spirit.
- 18:45Alright, John 14, verse 26 and 27 says, But the
- 18:50helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will
- 18:53send in my name, He will teach you all things
- 18:56and bring to your remembrance all that I have
- 19:00said to you. Peace I leave with you, my peace
- 19:03I give to you, not as the world gives do I give
- 19:07to you." Jesus is telling the disciples that
- 19:09He is sending them the Holy Spirit and the Holy
- 19:12Spirit comes with true peace, but that they cannot
- 19:15experience true peace from the world, but only
- 19:18from God. And if you got that on your own, great,
- 19:20fantastic love it for you. But for those who
- 19:24needed, True deeper understanding or you know
- 19:27versus just having it read over like you do at
- 19:29church. There you go Colossians 3 15 says And
- 19:33let the peace of Christ rule in your heart to
- 19:36which indeed you were called in one body and
- 19:39to be thankful and then Romans 12 18 says if
- 19:44possible as far as it depends on you live peaceably
- 19:47with all Both of those verses remind me that
- 19:50peace is not just something given but also something
- 19:53practiced that our energy and attitude, once
- 19:57again, say it with me, is a choice. Now I get
- 20:01it. You could be sitting there like, dang, you
- 20:03know, Liz, how do you even practice peace? What
- 20:06does that look like? Because honestly, people
- 20:08say stuff like this and I think, how does that
- 20:11practically look like in my life? Because so
- 20:14much easier said than actually done. I think
- 20:19it's shifting our focus through prayer or scripture.
- 20:22it could be deliberately forgiving someone or
- 20:25giving a gentle response when we'd rather cuss
- 20:28them out because I personally would rather cuss
- 20:30them out if I'm being so for real like honestly
- 20:34I love a little I told y 'all if I didn't know
- 20:38that people are listening to this with their
- 20:40children in the car I love to cuss like a sailor
- 20:42it's fun sorry it is cussing is fun for me I
- 20:46am getting it under control I never cuss at people
- 20:49but must believe sometimes I want to cuss them
- 20:51out I do. I'm just being real. Can't help it.
- 20:54Sorry. Okay. And then Matthew, sorry. Matthew
- 21:005 .9 actually says, blessed are the peacemakers
- 21:04for they shall be called sons of God. So what
- 21:07is a peacemaker? Don't worry. I'll give you a
- 21:11second. Okay. I did the research once again,
- 21:15so you don't have to. A peacemaker is someone
- 21:18who actively engages in conflict to resolve issues
- 21:22and create lasting unity, often requiring bold,
- 21:26direct confrontation or true resolution, while
- 21:31a peacekeeper avoids conflict, putting for surface
- 21:35-level calmness and appeasement by ignoring underlying
- 21:39problems leading to temporary, not real, at all,
- 21:44peace. Okay, well, I feel a little convicted.
- 21:47I don't know about you. How often am I focusing
- 21:51on surface level peace? I don't want to create
- 21:54a ripple effect. I don't want to create an issue.
- 21:57I'm not doing the uncomfortable work of creating
- 21:59or confronting to create lasting resolutions.
- 22:02I'm just keeping peace versus actually making
- 22:07it. Alrighty, now that I have something to think
- 22:10about, let's go ahead and jump to the next and
- 22:14last word for this part one. Oh, cool, cool,
- 22:19cool. Patience, my favorite. Yay. A little PSA
- 22:25to anyone who needs to hear this. Don't pray
- 22:28for patience, like ever. Just please take my
- 22:31word for it. That's all I'll say. Today, you
- 22:37might think of the word patience and think about
- 22:39being chill while waiting in line somewhere,
- 22:42not getting angry easily or possibly not losing
- 22:45your cool while you can't find the remote to
- 22:48the TV. as we did as kids and all trust has gone
- 22:52out the door because you know someone is sitting
- 22:55on it even though everyone swears they aren't
- 22:57because someone always was it was tucked between
- 23:00the cushions underneath the sofa or something
- 23:02like someone was always sitting on it and sometimes
- 23:05you had a brother who was purposely sitting on
- 23:07it because he didn't want to watch hannah montana
- 23:09okay now that we talked about what the world
- 23:12says about patience let's talk about what the
- 23:14bible says because patience does mean all that
- 23:17and more It's an active, not passive, but active,
- 23:23faithful endurance to trust God's timing. Kinda
- 23:27like me on waiting on a husband, but it feels
- 23:31like God just be playing games with me at the
- 23:33moment, to be so for real. It's a show of practical
- 23:37self -control towards others when it comes to
- 23:41anger or complaint. It also shows others mercy
- 23:44when you've been provoked. Proverbs 14 -29 says,
- 23:50whoever is patient has great understanding, but
- 23:52one who is quick -tempered displays folly. Basically,
- 23:57wise people are slow to act in anger, but an
- 24:00idiot will act without thinking of what will
- 24:02follow after. Have y 'all ever seen your dad
- 24:06lose his cool and then honestly you just think,
- 24:10wow, that was embarrassing for him to do that
- 24:13in front of me? Or a boyfriend? or honestly as
- 24:19a sister when your brother has harassed you to
- 24:21your wits end and people think you're crazy for
- 24:24how you're reacting but you know that he's been
- 24:26secretly blowing on the top of your head for
- 24:2810 minutes and nobody can see because he's six
- 24:30four and you're five five yeah and then you lose
- 24:33your mind yeah people think i'm the idiot and
- 24:37i i'll need it to definitely play it cooler in
- 24:40that moment okay anyways Ephesians 4 .2 says,
- 24:46Be completely humble and gentle, be patient,
- 24:48bearing with one another in love. And Colossians
- 24:513 .12 says, Therefore, as God -chosen people,
- 24:54holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with
- 24:57compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and
- 25:00patience. Let me list for you the people from
- 25:04the Bible I think represent patience well and
- 25:07who didn't. Okay, for those who did well, coming
- 25:11in number one. our main man Jesus enough said
- 25:15that's all okay number two drumroll Jobe number
- 25:21three low -key Jacob when waiting for Rachel
- 25:25because mmm he be loving her deeply Thor Esther
- 25:30our Queen just waiting for her time to put Hamich
- 25:34in his place number five is King David number
- 25:39six is Noah because he'd be waiting on those
- 25:43waters while building a giant ark and number
- 25:46seven because we love a holy number that guy
- 25:49simon who was told he'd see the messiah before
- 25:52he uh before he died and held jesus in the temple
- 25:56as a baby that man is patient and honestly under
- 26:00talked about all right my list for non -patient
- 26:03people i kept this super short number one sarah
- 26:08Abraham's wife, who forced him to have a baby
- 26:11with her servant because she couldn't and wouldn't
- 26:14wait on God's timing. We all saw how that worked
- 26:16out. Enough said. Number two, Simon Peter, who
- 26:20slaved some guard's ear off because he was an
- 26:24act now think later type of guy. And three, Jonah.
- 26:31Dude, this man could not wait for Nineveh to
- 26:35fall and crumble at his feet. And he was just
- 26:38straight petty. If I was going to do an episode
- 26:41on pettiness, Jonah would be the main guy I talk
- 26:43about. But also at the same time, I feel like
- 26:46I would vibe with him on a lot of levels when
- 26:49I'm in a in a energy of pettiness. Because actually,
- 26:54he was the king of petty. I might just say to
- 26:58the very end. Crazy. Anyways, hope this gave
- 27:03you a reason to be. Wow, lost my voice. To be
- 27:07patient, I guess after those examples because
- 27:12those are not the people that I look up to in
- 27:14the moment. I also hope this list gives a reason
- 27:17for love and joy and peace too. I'm gonna be
- 27:22honest, I knew I was gonna have to split up this
- 27:24episode because otherwise it would be hella long.
- 27:28We'd be here for like an hour. So I hope you
- 27:31tune in for the next one. And other than that.
- 27:34I'm going to pray us out. Dear Jesus, thank you
- 27:37for your love and that we get to experience it.
- 27:42Thank you that it is a fruit of the spirit that
- 27:44we also get to give to others, that we get to
- 27:48produce, along with joy and peace and patience.
- 27:54That your love is our foundation and your joy
- 27:57is something we get to show. your peace is something
- 28:00you get to experience and your patience is something
- 28:02that continues to grow in us every day, especially
- 28:06in the world that we live in now in 2026 that
- 28:09a lot of us are not enjoying. Anyways, thank
- 28:14you. Thank you that they come with the spirit
- 28:17naturally and that we get to exercise them and
- 28:20grow them and produce them. I ask that this is
- 28:25something that we're present to and that we're
- 28:27thinking about that we don't get discouraged
- 28:29over. And that we see that producing fruit really,
- 28:35really isn't all about saving people and getting
- 28:38them into church, even though it would be a great
- 28:41reason, but that it really is as simple as living
- 28:44presently in the spirit and producing those things
- 28:48listed in Galatians 5 22 and 23. Anyways, Jesus,
- 28:55thank you so much. And I ask that we continue
- 28:57to be present to you in the gifts you've given
- 28:59us. In your name, amen. Thanks so much for listening
