- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reality We've Got Thoughts, where Debbie and I share our thoughts on everything that is reality TV.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: I'm Susan.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm Debbie.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: And we're here this week to talk about the real housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: And this has been a crazy season so far.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Debbie, how are you liking this season so far?
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: It's dragging for me this season.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: I have to be completely honest.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: It's I just feel like all they do is argue with each other and talk over each other.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Create unnecessary conflict.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: Which that's part of the housewife is unnecessary conflict, but I feel like it's just ridiculous this season.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love these ladies, but I can't say that I'm loving this season as much as I have loved them in the past.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I would say that the Rony season, the Rony reboot season to me has been better than this season of Salt Lake City so far.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And I wasn't saying that about Rony, the first two seasons of the reboot.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: But it is kind of going slow.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: And um I just I feel like they came out so strong when they first came out, and every it was like, oh my gosh, this is my new favorite.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: And everyone's gotten too comfortable, I feel like.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's just a lot of little back and forth and everything, as we'll see in this episode.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: It uh it's crazy because this is some of my favorite housewives, and I know this is your favorite show, but I can't say that this season so far is my favorite.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with that.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: So our most recent episode was titled Star Science and Struggles, and Heather um hosts a Jupiter year party.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: Because this year is Heather's Jupiter year.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: And she has big plans to introduce her boyfriend trip to the group.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: That is quite the crowd going to.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: That would be really tough.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Like she and Tripper in the car on the way there and talking about that, and he makes a joke about I hope that they leave their weapons at the door because yeah, he's meeting everyone they've been dating about six months at this point, and they're going to this Jupiter party.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: I like to follow astrology a little bit, but I did not know anything about this Jupiter year.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: And Heather explains that every astrological sign gets a Jupiter year every 12 years, which I guess makes sense because there's 12 months, so they rotate.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: So I have no idea when when Virgo.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Jupiter year is like your year of rebirth, is that right?
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she said that it was meaning that you're having expansion and growth and major life changes.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: I did think that was kind of a cool message because she wants to celebrate that she has had a lot of growth.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: She said last time she was in her Jupiter year 12 years ago, she was getting a divorce, she was broke, all this stuff.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Now she feels like she's in one of the best places she's been in her life.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: She's got this successful business, she's had three books.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I did think it was kind of a good message because she said she wants people to know, like she's celebrating that you can go from being in a really bad place to being in a really good place, like she has.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, that part was good.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, so that's so that was good.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: But Heather said that this will be a good distraction for the party because everyone's gonna want to be meeting trip.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: So it might keep the drama down, and she's just ready to throw him into the lion's den.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: And he he does get thrown into the lion's den, but I feel like they did leave their weapons at their the door for him.
- 4:21SPEAKER_02: They they all had their guardian with them, they all were just very kind and had positive things to say about him.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: So I thought that part was really good.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Bronwyn also brings her boyfriend, Brandon, and introduces Brandon to everyone, those that haven't met Brandon yet.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: And I thought that was interesting because the previous episode we had seen Lisa talking about Brandon, how she feels like he's a BR stunt for Bronwyn.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: So Yeah, so what do you think of that?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Do you think there's any chance that she literally paid him?
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Why would she go meet his parents if she's paying him?
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: I think it was legit.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Justin Sylvester, who you guys probably know from e News, he he posted a post about this because he said that they are legit.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: He said that he has been around them on the red carpet and other like more than one time.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And he's like, I am convinced that those two people definitely are in a relationship.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: And I won't get as graphic as what he did, but just in saying it's real.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: We talked about recently how it's come out that he obviously brain was the model.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: He was a working model.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: If you're watching the Kardashians on Hulu, there's literally like five minutes of the episode of one of the episodes, episode two, where he is in there with Chloe.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: He's been hired as a model for her commercial for and all her advertising for her new fragrance that's coming out, and it's really funny.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of cool.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: We've seen him there.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: See the crossover a little bit.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Yes, and then he also did something with Luann, but it was like a hired model job.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: He would like date Luann, count as Luann.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: But I don't know.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I kind of think it's a legitimate relationship, even if maybe he did it for the exposure, but they did seem into each other when they were and maybe they both did it for the exposure a little bit.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Who cares?
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: You know, Bronwyn said, why would I do this?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Like, this is not the kind of PR I would want right now when I'm still not divorced, I'm dating somebody way younger than me.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And even her own mother was like, Did you have to be like sluttening it around so soon?
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I love Munzie.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: But the party was cute.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: I liked the party, like the decorations, and I don't know that place.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: The party was cute.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: I could, it's an old train depot that they have converted into this venue that they use for all sorts of stuff.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: So that it's the old Union Pacific station, um, which is really cool.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: And it's in a historic downtown Salt Lake City.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Sorry, if you're watching the video, you can see that my youngest dog is trying to get in on the filming.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's cool.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: Well, I thought that I thought it was pretty and the decor the little bit.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was decorated really pretty.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: I haven't been there for a long time, so I'm sure it's changed a lot since the last time I was there, but it's it looked beautiful inside.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: On the speaking of Brandon, when when he and Bronwyn are in the car, he is saying that in the previous episode, when the hypocrisy and bullshit scene came up, that Brandon's saying that he was actually vibing to the music.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: And they flash back where I forget who was next to him was telling him, like, stop smiling.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Because at first he's like hypocrisy and bullshit.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: And he's kind of vibing and bronze, and they're like, No, you should not be, you should not be vibing to that.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: No.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: So then they show Seth and Meredith in the car, and he's and they bring up Britney because in previous season, Brittany literally was like accusing Seth of cheating.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: Just throwing Seth under the bus for anything and everything she could.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: She had nothing good to say about Seth.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: So I think it was interesting too to see people bringing their significant others.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: You know, Heather's got a boyfriend, Ronald's got a boyfriend, Seth comes with Meredith, and then we have Whitney come alone.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: And Lisa come alone, who their husbands are always with them.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And Brittany brings her daughter.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Whitney said that Jason was still in Cabo, that they had just come from spring break in Cabo.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: So that's interesting, even though they're having the marital problems.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: I guess they went with the family.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: So anyway, so Seth and Meredith come in, and I love that they are such a united friend everywhere they go.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: Even if they're having issues with each other, they are a united friend every time they walk in a door somewhere.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: And I love that about them.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you're not going to be married.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, you're not going to be married as long as those two have, and there's not going to be issues.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: And when Britney said that in the reunion, like Andy, they've even flashed back and showed where Andy was like, Well, did you have proof?
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Well, not proof that would hold up in a court of law.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: It's it's crazy.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Ridiculous.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Seth obviously in the car is like, I do not want to have to talk to her.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And he's like, if Britney tries to talk to him, he doesn't want to talk to her.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And I don't blame him.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: I don't either.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: I don't blame him at all.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: So Mary is hilarious.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: They actually showed the um preview, like on the way there, Mary was like, I'm not dressing up.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: She's like, um, I'm a Libra.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And she's like, what am I gonna do?
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Be a scale.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: And then they cut to Whitney with the scale.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: He's literally holding a scale.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: I'm a Libra.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: And we all know that Whitney and Mary have their own issues.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: So that just kind of was a little dagger there.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Mary is such good TV.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: When they showed the preview at Bravo Fan Fest, like the little sneak peek of this episode, everybody when Mary was on there saying that they just they just love her.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: I she's just as real as they come.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Real as they come.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: So what do you think of Trip?
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: Heather's boyfriend.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Bronwin like Bronwin instantly loves him.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: She said, Well, Heather's a little smitten kitten.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I've never seen this side of Heather before.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: And Mary approved of her, which is huge, I think.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: I was kind of surprised how positive all the ladies are, which I'm happy for Heather if that's true.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: I was kind of feeling like red flags, and I wasn't thrilled about the fact that they used to date and had issues or whatever, and then came at buttons.
- 10:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, they've known each other for I think six years.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: So they've known each other a long time.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: Have they dated six years?
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: No, but they dated for a little bit and then called it off, and then who knows?
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: But I hope it's good.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And hearing now with Heather saying all this stuff, and with even Lisa Barlow saying that I think she might say the M-word, getting married, I was just crazy, which Heather herself has said she's probably would never get married again.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: So they all know, they all know, you know, know her, and they're all saying this positive stuff.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: So I'm hoping it's right.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: I'm hoping that's gonna be the case.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: I hope so.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: You know, I wonder, because Heather made the comment that she is so happy and she's never felt this level of love, never felt completely loved like she is now.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: How does that make her kids feel about her their relationship with their father?
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Because clearly she loved him when they first got married.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: I think that's an interesting Yeah, I wonder like how does it, even though it's obviously they're divorced, but was that just because she was young?
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Was it a religious thing?
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Like But either way, I think that's very hard for you know.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: If you haven't been in her shoes, you have no idea.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: No.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, so then the first really juicy thing that happens is when Whitney and Heather are there talking.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Because Heather basically tells her that Lisa Barlow is saying that Whitney uses her personal life to garner sympathy from her friends.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: And at this point, they all don't know about the potential divorce, right?
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Problems that she and Jason are having.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: But then Lisa also, when she was saying all these things about Whitney, and Heather just said, you know, she's going through a lot right now.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: And Lisa's like, oh, what is it a divorce?
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: And that kind of triggered Whitney.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Because Whitney purposely has not shared what's going on in her personal life with Lisa because she doesn't trust her.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was crazy that like when Heather said to Whitney that Lisa said that, well, John talks to Jason.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, that just like set Whitney off.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: She was like, Well, John, Jason also talks to John, and John said about how horrible their finances are, and that they're in a horrible state, that he can't stand Lisa, and that his life is miserable.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's pretty intense.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: That's harsh.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Do you think that she's just making that up?
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Somewhat.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I'm sure they talk to each other.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: Justin and John are friends.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: So I'm sure they talk to each other.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: Waiting's in her sober era right now, so she can't blame anything she says on alcohol anymore.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: I don't think she should have even said anything.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Uh that was that was crazy.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: So then Bronwyn and Brandon get there, and Bronwyn says that she came as a virgin because she's a Virgo.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: And what does Ashley say to her?
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: Um, because Ashley's also a Virgo, correct?
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: So Ashley came in and said that she's a vixen.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: She said, You could be the virgin, I'm the vixen.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Which is so fitting.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: So Whitney again, like I said, like Whitney's like, gloves are off, bitch.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Excuse me for saying it.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And that's what Whitney, when Whitney's talking about Lisa Barlow, she's mad.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: And then they show Mary in the confessional.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: It's so hilarious.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And this is what they showed at Bravo Fan Fest, is Mary says, I'm a Libra too, but I don't know what Whitney just always looks cheap for me.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know that.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I know that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: But I'm in a confessional.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: I gotta say something.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: And she looks cheap.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Everybody in Bravo Fan Fest died.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: They all went crazy.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: That's so that's such a Mary comment, too.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: She's gonna tell how it is.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: You gotta love that about Mary.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: But like you said, she in that same vein, she talks about how Trip matches Heather.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: She says nice stuff about Trip.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: So back up, I didn't think Whitney looked cheap.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: I thought Whitney fit the fit the role.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: I mean, she was dressed up in costume.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: Did she need the scale to get her point across?
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: No.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: I guess she's trying to really lean into the into the thing with the astrological signs.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: And I mean, Mary certainly gets into her clothes and wears some crazy stuff throughout the seasons, but it's funny, like she must be like me and not be into like costumes, you know, costumes.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't need costumes either.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: Well, so then Brittany decides to saunter her way over to Meredith and Seth to talk to Seth and acts like they're all hunky dory besties.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: I love you, gushing all over Seth.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: Which I thought just her interaction is just odd.
- 15:43SPEAKER_02: How'd you feel about all that?
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Yes, I was like, why in the world would she go up and try and talk to Seth?
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And you know, I think Meredith can be unforgiving and harsh, but I was totally agreeing with Meredith at this point, you know, where Meredith is like, do not speak to me.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: I don't want you to be around me.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: I I, you know, she put Seth in this position.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Seth already said on the way there that he had somewhere else to go.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and Meredith says to says to her, she says, Do not speak to my husband unless you have an apology.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: Do not speak to my husband unless you have an apology.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: And stay away from me as well.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: I don't blame her.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: It's so true, so true.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And Brittany acts all stunned, like, why would you think that?
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Why would you say that?
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: She's not the sharpest tool as shit.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: No, not at all.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: Anyway, so I feel like Meredith was very valid and feeling the way she's old.
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: And then at that point, Seth's like, peace out, I'm gone.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: And they're talking to each other on the way out, and it's like, I don't bring you and you said you had somewhere else to be, but I don't like that they think you're leaving because you were uncomfortable.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I felt I felt for her then too, because exactly it just they're like but it was just almost creepy and weird the way Britney's like up in his face.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: Weird and all up in his face, she has no personal space whatsoever, and her hair was awful.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: Who her stylist was needs to read.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: What was up with that thing?
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, that because it's it's obviously a ton of fake hair.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: It is, it's definitely extensions, but good gracious.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Is she thinking she's Teresa?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Teresa from New Jersey with her wedding.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Remember, Teresa had all Theresa.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: I I guess.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Did you see there's a real out of Madison LaCroix talking hair, and she talks about the wedding hair, and then also Britney's high body count hair and I have to agree.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, body count hair.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, not not a good look.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: No, it's yeah, Brittany is not not doing good.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Somebody that did look really good was Lisa Barlow.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: She came in looking so good in that red dress with the black blazer that looked so good on her, her makeup looked great.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: She's a fire sign, so that's why she was in red with that awesome black black black blazer.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Um I thought Meredith looked great too.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Meredith looks good.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And so and Meredith's just like in the wig now full time.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: As far as we can tell, she's got the wig on all the time.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: So but she doesn't address it, so she clearly doesn't want to be talking about her wig.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: So what do you think about this flat about Flower Gate?
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: This is the Oh my gosh, the Flower Gate.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: So in the previous episode, we see that you know Mary hosts this event and um Robert Sr.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: had per had bought flowers for all the girls and kind of tailored them towards each one of their personalities.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: So when Britney goes to leave and she takes her flowers plus the flowers that she had brought to Mary, plus the centerpiece flowers, takes them with her.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: And you think Mary's not gonna notice?
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Mary notices every little detail.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: Every little detail is Mary.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: Why did she take the flowers that she brought to Mary?
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: Beyond me, I have no clue.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: And then she takes the ones from Robert J Robert Sr.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: and delivers them to a character facility and films herself doing it.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they literally like show her at this place.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: Like, why would she film herself delivering flowers to someone?
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: I think that's weird.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Well, why would you take the flowers without asking?
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: Agreed.
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: You it's well, the one set of flowers was for her.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: It was her from Robert Sr.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: So part of that I feel like it was okay for her to regift because they're burgers.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she could regift.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: If she wants to regift, that's great.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: But it's the other flower arrangements that she stole.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: It's just weird.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just think she's forgotten if she wanted if there was extra flowers there and she could say to Mary, if you're not doing anything with these flowers, I sometimes take them to nursing homes, retirement homes, whatever.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: But she just did it without asking.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: She just took it upon herself.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: It was just weird.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I thought it was really weird.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: And I don't blame Mary for being offended.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: I do not blame her.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Because then Brittany also, when they were talking about it, it kind of Brittany tries to talk to Mary.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: This is where the end of the episode, and Britney tries to talk to Mary about the flowers, and now Mary tells her that she doesn't honor around her and she feels disrespected.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: And and Brittany kind of she's just the way she handles that, I think.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: She what was the comment she made to Mary?
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: That doesn't matter.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't understand.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: I don't think that she meant it either.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Robert Jr.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: But it was a weird thing to say.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: I don't know what she meant, but then again, that's Brittany.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: She comes off like so ding baddie.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And Brittany has no social cues.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: So here's the thing.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: She's a friend of, she's been clinging on.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: She's never been a full-time housewife, right?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: She's only been a friend of.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Friend of.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Is this her just like clawing to try to stay, trying to get promoted?
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Trying to because it's kind of like that little graphic they put up when Bronwyn was like, she came in here already with a problem with these two.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Now she's gonna have a problem with this one and that one.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And striking everybody out.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Because honestly, I she's got a problem with Susan now, too.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't like I've had enough of her.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't the show is already not on the top of my list.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: And Britney's not.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: I don't need the Britney.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Brittany doesn't bring drama, she brings annoyance.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: I don't I genuinely don't think that she's adding anything to the show at this point.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: No, there's no storyline with her other than she's just annoying.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: Uh how about Angie going around referring to herself as the truth fairy, and she proceeds to tell Bronwyn about Britney digging into Bronwyn's house sale, and then told her that Lisa things branded the PR spent and blah, blah, blah.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: Why does Angie feel like it's her place to divulge all this?
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: So here's the thing.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: I realize that they're on a reality show, so she has to do this, but it still is so annoying to me because in real life, like what you think about me is none of my business.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: And Bronwyn even says something about like, you know, she says, Of course, I'm irritated that I'm hearing these things, but Bronwyn's like, I'm even more irritated that Angie is telling them to me.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Like, why is Angie coming to her and telling her that and starting something like this?
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Because that because I don't think that's right either.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: No, and I wonder, like, in real life, would Angie really do that?
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because it's only to hurt Bronwyn and to see.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: I really think Angie at her core is it's a girl's girl and she's sticking up.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: For her girls, but why?
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: She just made it her mission to be the one to like go around to everybody now and say, Yeah.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: And go and tell that.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: And even when she was talking to the astrologist, the astrologist talks about the fact that she's a Scorpio and they play back all those things over the years where she says these like really nasty things and they talk about how the Scorpio like kind of comes out with their stinger.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: And even though Mary and Angie have had a really close friendship, Mary's like, Yeah, Angie probably needs to think about these things before she says that.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: Even she even wrong.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: So I agree.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is like they, you know, even though they're friends, that that definitely comes up.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: Well, so then we still talking about Brittany when Bronwyn and Angie together corner Brittany to ask her why she's trying to pull records on Bronwell's house.
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: And Bronwyn is putting her in a place until I already get away from her face, and you have no business getting into my business, then why do you even care?
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: And breaking claims it's because everything that Bronwyn does doesn't add up.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's crazy.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: Everybody alive knows that probably somebody at Todd's level of wealth and and income and everything would have things set up in trusts and stuff.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: That doesn't necessarily mean that Bronwyn is or is not getting XYZ in the divorce.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: That would definitely be different.
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, not only that, is it anybody's business what she gets in her divorce?
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: No.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Nobody's business.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: I mean, Britney is just being all in there, alleging to be her friend, yet going after all this stuff.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: And Bronwyn has a good point.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: She's like, I'm not filing in the court, in the public court or whatever.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: She's like, we're going through a mediator because she's trying to avoid everything being out there.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: And I don't blame her.
- 24:31SPEAKER_02: No.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: And then Ashley's standing there right there.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: And Ashley's like, Brittany, you're creepy.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: And Britney's tries to explain, Well, I know more about you, Ashley.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: It was crazy because Ashley says, I don't care because you're an attention whore.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: And Britney says, At least I'm not a whore.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: So Brittany, do we need to rewind and show all your videos of your so-called Osmond boyfriend?
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: I just think like this is not entertaining at this point.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: It's just funny.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: I think I think Britney thinks that she's gonna get like full housewife status out of acting like this and starting all this.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: But it I you know, I don't think so at all.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: And then how about the fake crying?
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: And Angie wiping her tears.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: It's like that there, why is she wiping the tears?
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: I don't think there was any tears.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: And Heather's trying to make her speech, and they're like right there next to her, just going on and on.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: I think that was some really bad acting.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: And the only thing Britney's got going for her is she does have a beautiful voice.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: She the girl can sing.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: The girl can sing.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: She's a horrible actor.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: She has a horrible friend from what we've seen.
- 25:49SPEAKER_02: She's annoying.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm wondering if just high body count hair.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, and the hair today.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: She just did not look good.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Like her makeup and stuff.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't mean to talk about someone's looks, but it's housewives.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: She, I I actually think she's probably a very nice person.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: I um I've said before that some other people outside of the show have said nice things about her.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: She is talented, but I think this is her being super desperate to try to get a full-time spot, and I don't think it's gonna work.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: I would agree.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: I do not think it's gonna it's gonna work.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: And then Mary again, Mary is TV gold.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Mary is like, where's the food?
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: Mary's like, I didn't eat anything before because I don't know how Heather likes food.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: I said, Heather likes to eat, they'll have food.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: She's like, I made the wrong judgment on this one.
- 26:42SPEAKER_02: So I guess there was no somewhere they got french fries.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: Did you see when they were out in the hallway talking when Mary got her altercation with Britney and then and she's you know, they're all get brawn ones out there.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because one of their little I wanted some french fries.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I want some french fries right now.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: They probably ordered that because everyone was probably like, we're hungry.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: Starving and drinking and starving and not having to get it.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: The crew, yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: The crew probably had to order food.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: Mary has TV gold, though.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: I love her.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: She is so good.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: Oh God.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: And then Whitney is going to talk to Lisa Barlow.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: And she walks over to her.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Just don't.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: And says, You should probably get your phone ready because you're probably gonna want to call John.
- 27:26SPEAKER_00: It was almost like maniacal the way she said it.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: She practiced that for two weeks.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: She did, and what she's trying to do is talk to her about an issue.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: You don't start out a conversation with something snarky like that if you're trying to resolve something.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's she's trying to be messy.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: And then she accuses everybody else of being messy.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because that's what she went over.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: Then she That's what she's telling Lisa.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Lisa, you're messy.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: She tells Lisa on the way over that she's probably gonna want to call John, but then she's going over to talk to Angie and tell Angie, I'm mad at you for being messy.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: And it goes, and then that's when I started to almost like lose track of all that.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: I was like, is this episode even good?
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: Is this fun?
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Is this entertaining?
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Is this aspirational?
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: No.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm kind of lost interest.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: I've started getting bored with it.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: I don't, you know, because then now Whitney's mad at Heather.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: It's just so that then they go over to talk to Lisa.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: It's just crazy.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: It's clear that Whitney has issues going on in her personal life that she's projecting onto everyone else right now.
- 28:36unknown: Yeah.
- 28:36SPEAKER_02: Whitney's always kind of been a little messy, but she's very much projecting right now.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: And again, Whitney, like we've talked about with some other housewives, Whitney really needs this job right now.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: Perhaps Wild Rose didn't work out.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: If she really is getting a divorce, and that's not just a storyline, she's gonna need this housewife job.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: So she's also gonna try to do, you know, all sorts of things, you know, to go in there.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, they're over there talking and she like tells Whitney to F off and stuff.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: And I know, I mean, obviously we've seen this, but like, you know, that's crazy.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: And Lisa might not be wrong when Lisa said, like, Whitney never actually takes responsibility and you know, and Lisa's like, I'm not giving her any more grace.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: She's not getting any more grace from me.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: So did you notice when when Lisa?
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: So did you notice that when we bring the James talking to John?
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: Justin talking to John?
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: Justin.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, I've called him Jason the entire episode.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: Everyone's gonna be like, who's Jason?
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Justin.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna know his name.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: He's the one on the show from the beginning.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Justin.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: Steve might know Jason was wrong.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Justin, when Justin she she Whitney brings up Justin talking to John.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Lisa shuts that down.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, she shut that thing down so fast.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: She's like, we are done with this conversation.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: She definitely doesn't want anything to come up about that.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: I don't blame her.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: That's her marriage.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: She's protecting our marriage.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: It's you know, and Whitney is going low, going low.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: Again, she's projecting, I think.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: And Mary's not happy with Angie.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: She's over it just like I am.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: She's done with these stupid arguments.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: She said this is the one time that she agrees with Whit Whitney's accusing Heather, I think Heather and Angie of being two-faced.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: I'm done.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: So I checked out.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: I checked out.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: I don't even think I watched what's going on next week because I was just like, Yeah, because at that point they they all tell Britney they don't have around, they leave the room, all this stuff.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: And the funniest thing was that when Ron's walking out, this party is aligning all the uranium.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: Which is funny.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And I'm just thinking like Brittany is a dum dump.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Like I'm over it.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: I'm predicting that Britney will not be back.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: I don't think she'll be back.
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: She's just on the house with way too many people now.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: I think that's why Ashley has come in.
- 31:18SPEAKER_02: I think Ashley's gonna slide on in and take that fill-in role that Britney's had.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because right now I've got Brittany and Ashley as the friends of, but I can't imagine that Britney will be back.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: So we'll see.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Speaking of Ashley, that's what's happening in the next episode, that she's having a get-together.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: And then Angie's gonna have some crazy meltdown.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: And now he's gonna overact and do everything.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we're gonna keep watching, but so far I'd have to give the season like a C plus if that if even that.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: The plus is generous.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Sadly, one of my favorite franchises not necessarily delivering this season.
- 32:07SPEAKER_02: And um I wonder if it's partly to do with the producers that the producers are feeding them stuff to do.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: And it's just they don't need all that.
- 32:16SPEAKER_02: They were creating enough on their own to begin with without being fed what to do.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know enough about how much is scripted versus how much is not.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: I do think that they try to follow a, you know, some sort of outline of storylines and things like that for sure.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: And I do think that what goes through my mind a lot is that if they would just get back to like what it used to be, like maybe they need to go back and think how did this whole housewives thing become great to begin with, is a little bit more of the authenticity.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Agreed.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Because it's like I think all of us are getting, you know.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: But then again, like I said, I think I wonder if the reason that I like Rony this season so much and we haven't talked about it a lot yet, is it's just like a few of the new people, and even though they've been crazy, some of them.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: There's just been, I don't know, there's been something about about the Rony that I that I have that I've liked.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: Did you watch any of the golden lights yet?
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Not yet.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: I watched part of the first episode, and I think it was interesting that on Bravo they were playing old Rony episodes, like the scary tone stuff.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: They were playing that.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: But I the jury asked me on that too.
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: I do not want to see Sonya going back in in history like 10 years and and and all that.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: Nobody wants to see that.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: So it'll be interesting.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: But we've got a lot of stuff that's gonna be coming up, and we'll see how the rest of Salt Lake City goes.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: But so far, hoping it gets better.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: So we shall see.
