- 2:06Speaker 1: Please join me in welcoming to Destination Unlimited, Shariana Boyle.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Welcome, Cheriana, Thanks so much for having me. Happy to
- 2:15Speaker 2: be here.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Shariana. Please share with us your path and how it
- 2:19Speaker 1: led to your work as a psychic healer, coach and author.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Oh boy, well, that's a journey for sure. My path
- 2:29Speaker 2: really opened up when I became a writer back in
- 2:33Speaker 2: twenty twelve. Previous to that, I was working as a
- 2:37Speaker 2: school psychologist in the school system. I got pregnant with
- 2:41Speaker 2: my first daughter, which ended up turning into three daughters.
- 2:45Speaker 2: But during the time I would within there, I was
- 2:47Speaker 2: on a leave of absence from my job and I
- 2:51Speaker 2: was inspired to start writing during when my daughter was napping.
- 2:56Speaker 2: My youngest daughter at this point was wonderful napper which
- 3:01Speaker 2: blessed me was a little extra time, and I was inspired,
- 3:06Speaker 2: i will say, by spirit to start to put some
- 3:10Speaker 2: thoughts down on paper, which then inspired me to look
- 3:14Speaker 2: into writing a book. And I hired an editor to
- 3:20Speaker 2: support me, and then I published that book. And I'm
- 3:24Speaker 2: at a preschool now with my daughter, and someone at
- 3:29Speaker 2: that preschool approached me and said, I saw you wrote
- 3:32Speaker 2: a book. I work for a publisher. Would you consider
- 3:35Speaker 2: writing for us? And I was like absolutely. So that
- 3:39Speaker 2: was the beginning of my journey into becoming a writer
- 3:46Speaker 2: and then a teacher, and just kind of opened up
- 3:49Speaker 2: all these new avenues and doors.
- 3:51Speaker 1: The path that you described just now sounds like a
- 3:54Speaker 1: series of synchronicities. Do you see them as them?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Oh? Absolutely, I mean it undoubtedly. What are the chances, right, Victory?
- 4:05Speaker 2: What did the chances? And when I tell you this preschool,
- 4:08Speaker 2: it was just this little, small, family operated preschool. Not
- 4:13Speaker 2: it wasn't a public not many people knew about it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And I didn't even tell many people that I wrote
- 4:20Speaker 2: a book because I was so new at it and
- 4:22Speaker 2: I was really just it was almost like a hobby
- 4:26Speaker 2: for me. Never considered changing careers or becoming an author.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And then when that person approached me, then of course
- 4:35Speaker 2: I said yes. And then they gave me a deadline.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It was pretty strict for the next one, and they
- 4:42Speaker 2: gave me five weeks to write another book. And I
- 4:45Speaker 2: did it. And I don't know how I did it,
- 4:48Speaker 2: but all I can say is spirit had a hand
- 4:50Speaker 2: in that one. And I think that's another way that
- 4:54Speaker 2: you know you're in alignment. Is things just kind of flow.
- 4:58Speaker 2: There's not there's as effort, but there's not struggle.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Absolutely. You know, I've had so many synchronicities and blessings
- 5:07Speaker 1: of that nature in my life, and I've always recognized
- 5:11Speaker 1: when I've been approached with a synchronicity, with an opportunity.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I had three choices. I could either say not for me,
- 5:17Speaker 1: that's not something that resonates with me. Or I can
- 5:20Speaker 1: say yes, but not right now. Or I could say
- 5:22Speaker 1: yes with a capital why right now? And I found
- 5:26Speaker 1: that every time I use that capital why yes, the
- 5:28Speaker 1: next one would come and the next one would come.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a sometimes you surprise yourself, right, Victor. I
- 5:37Speaker 2: think you're like, I can't believe I'm saying yes to this,
- 5:39Speaker 2: but the answer is yes, I'm going to go for it,
- 5:42Speaker 2: and it's that moment, you know, I find with spirit
- 5:46Speaker 2: we all do know. I think one of the ways
- 5:49Speaker 2: I know when people are not connected to their spirit
- 5:52Speaker 2: fully is they use that phrase I don't know a lot,
- 5:56Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know what to do. I'm
- 5:58Speaker 2: not sure about this, And the reality or the truth
- 6:02Speaker 2: is you do know, you do know. It's just we
- 6:05Speaker 2: don't always want to listen, Victor, And I think it's
- 6:10Speaker 2: because fear comes in, and the more we listen, the
- 6:14Speaker 2: more we recognize, Okay, well with this, with this, yes
- 6:18Speaker 2: may come, some learning may come, some things you need
- 6:23Speaker 2: to get out of your comfort zone, a little bit
- 6:27Speaker 2: may come a little bit of risk, perceived risk, and
- 6:32Speaker 2: certainly discomfort. Like I said, so that is just another
- 6:37Speaker 2: way that I've learned to know when I'm disconnected or
- 6:43Speaker 2: when I'm not listening to spirit, is I get into
- 6:46Speaker 2: those I don't knows. And that really is an opportunity
- 6:50Speaker 2: for you to kind of move through some insecurities or fears.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Absolutely, when did you first become aware of your intuitive
- 6:58Speaker 1: and spiritual gifts?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Well, my mother tells me, has been telling me for years,
- 7:05Speaker 2: and I just kind of pooh pooed it. Quite frankly.
- 7:11Speaker 2: And then I think, hmm, I think I became more
- 7:18Speaker 2: aware when I started teaching yoga. Now, I started teaching
- 7:23Speaker 2: yoga before I started writing books. And the reason it
- 7:28Speaker 2: became clear to me is someone approached me one day
- 7:32Speaker 2: and they said, how do you prepare for the things
- 7:35Speaker 2: you say in class? And how do you prepare the sequence?
- 7:40Speaker 2: And I thought to myself, prepare, prepare. I don't prepare.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I just hear it, they tell me, meaning spirit, my guides,
- 7:52Speaker 2: and that's what I recognize. When that person came to me,
- 7:56Speaker 2: I thought, Wow, people prepare for this like they write stuff.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It just comes through me the words to say, the postures.
- 8:06Speaker 2: And I've learned to just be a really good listener
- 8:09Speaker 2: and feeler too, really feeling the energy in the room,
- 8:14Speaker 2: knowing when you need to slow down, not so much
- 8:17Speaker 2: because you're going too fast, but because it's disrupting the
- 8:23Speaker 2: connection to I believe all of us are intuitive, and
- 8:28Speaker 2: so I've taught yoga for twenty five years, and I
- 8:32Speaker 2: think that was just a way for me to harness
- 8:34Speaker 2: it without realizing it. And then later I would keep
- 8:38Speaker 2: writing and writing, and the publisher loved the way I
- 8:40Speaker 2: could write, so quickly. I ended up writing five books
- 8:44Speaker 2: with that publisher. I'm going to be writing more with them.
- 8:47Speaker 2: And then I went to some other publishers and that's
- 8:52Speaker 2: when I also started realizing maybe I'm channeling these like
- 8:55Speaker 2: because they are coming out pretty quickly.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It's in the spirit. And then yoga we practiced pranayama.
- 9:02Speaker 1: We breathe in inspires the means to breathe in, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: that's really what it's about.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean breath and spirit. Spirit to us and
- 9:13Speaker 2: Latin means breath, and it is. When you connect to
- 9:19Speaker 2: your breath, you are connecting to spirit. I think so often,
- 9:23Speaker 2: and I'd love to hear your opinion on this, Victor,
- 9:25Speaker 2: but so often people associate it with a thing or
- 9:28Speaker 2: a certain image or something that they were taught, and
- 9:33Speaker 2: so there's really a lot of disentangling that happens. I
- 9:38Speaker 2: know I had to go through that as well in
- 9:40Speaker 2: my writing, with all of my books. It really had
- 9:44Speaker 2: to work through those limiting beliefs and fears and insecurity
- 9:49Speaker 2: and I because that's not spirit. Spirit isn't fear and
- 9:54Speaker 2: spirit isn't In my opinion, I don't feel judged when
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm truly connected. I'm curious what you think.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I agree, I agree one hundred percent. Before we discuss
- 10:05Speaker 1: your brand new book, just ask spirit. Let's discuss a
- 10:09Speaker 1: couple of your earlier books, starting with the Emotional Dtox series.
- 10:14Speaker 1: What inspired this series and the core book Emotional Detox
- 10:19Speaker 1: Seven Steps to Releasing Toxicity and Energized Joy.
- 10:25Speaker 2: So Emotional Detox was my seventh book, and I'll never
- 10:32Speaker 2: forget it. When I was teaching yoga back to Yoga
- 10:36Speaker 2: at the local YMCA and one of my dear friends
- 10:41Speaker 2: would come to my class, and she happens to be
- 10:43Speaker 2: an editor, and we were walking out. We had our
- 10:46Speaker 2: yoga mats rolled up under our arms, and we were
- 10:49Speaker 2: chatting and I looked at her and I said Emotional
- 10:52Speaker 2: Detox and she said what And I said, it's my
- 10:54Speaker 2: next book. It just popped in out of nowhere, and
- 10:57Speaker 2: she goes, I like it. I like the title. I
- 11:00Speaker 2: was like, so do I. So I went home and
- 11:03Speaker 2: I pitched my publisher and they said, great idea, but
- 11:07Speaker 2: you need to do more research. Don't have enough here
- 11:10Speaker 2: yet to quite make a book. So I was like,
- 11:15Speaker 2: where is the research? Because there's a lot on physical detoxes,
- 11:21Speaker 2: not a lot on emotional detoxes. Now again, now we're
- 11:26Speaker 2: talking years ago. So that book was published in twenty eighteen.
- 11:30Speaker 2: We're in twenty twenty five now, so things are a
- 11:33Speaker 2: bit different. But back then still wasn't quite teased out.
- 11:37Speaker 2: So I said, okay, you're right, I'm going to do
- 11:39Speaker 2: the research. And that's when I really started to dive
- 11:43Speaker 2: into emotions, what happens when we process them, what happens
- 11:47Speaker 2: when we don't. And so I'm in about five weeks
- 11:51Speaker 2: worth of research, Victor, and I've got a pretty good
- 11:54Speaker 2: amount under my belt. I resubmit my proposal, they accept it,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and then I'm just hit with some really traumatic stuff
- 12:03Speaker 2: in my life, unexpected kind of rug pulled out from
- 12:07Speaker 2: underneath you kind of stuff. Didn't see it coming. And
- 12:12Speaker 2: I was a mess. I was a mess. I was like,
- 12:15Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I am in crisis, really emotional crisis.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I can't write this book. So I go to them
- 12:26Speaker 2: and I say, I'm a mess. I have no business
- 12:29Speaker 2: writing a book called emotional I need this, I need this,
- 12:33Speaker 2: And they were wonderful and they said, you're going to
- 12:37Speaker 2: write the book, and you're going to you We're giving
- 12:40Speaker 2: you as much time as you need. Now up to then.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I'm used to these strict six eight week deadlines where
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'm like, let's go, and they said as much time
- 12:50Speaker 2: as you need, and I said okay, And in my
- 12:55Speaker 2: mind I thought, well, maybe a couple of years from
- 12:58Speaker 2: now I'll write this book. And that's when I started
- 13:03Speaker 2: to really hear spirit and I asked for help because
- 13:08Speaker 2: I needed it. I said, I need help. I don't
- 13:11Speaker 2: know how to do this. I need to I know
- 13:13Speaker 2: the research, I know why we should do it, but
- 13:16Speaker 2: now I'm in it. And that changed the game, Victor,
- 13:20Speaker 2: because when you write about something for someone, that's one thing.
- 13:26Speaker 2: When you write about something and you're in it, it
- 13:29Speaker 2: changes the way that you write. And all of a sudden,
- 13:33Speaker 2: the things that I some of the things I had
- 13:36Speaker 2: thought and learned would be helpful for an emotional detox,
- 13:41Speaker 2: being in it, I was like, no, not helpful, not helpful,
- 13:46Speaker 2: good on paper, not helpful for somebody in an emotional crisis.
- 13:52Speaker 2: So I look back and think, wow, was that a
- 13:55Speaker 2: blessing because it really framed and created the found for
- 14:00Speaker 2: an emotional detox. And I am still using those principles
- 14:06Speaker 2: that I wrote about in that book today.
- 14:09Speaker 1: That book was named one of the ten life changing
- 14:12Speaker 1: self help books every Woman should read by Parade Magazine.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Is it also helpful for men?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Oh gosh, you yeah. I'm a big fan of men.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I have a lot of men out there that will
- 14:25Speaker 2: me flowers. I stick up for them a lot in
- 14:28Speaker 2: private sessions with clients, and people who read Emotional Dtalks
- 14:34Speaker 2: will see that. So absolutely, it's a book for everyone,
- 14:39Speaker 2: any adult.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And in your book Emotional Detox for Anxiety, you say
- 14:46Speaker 1: anxiety is an emotion attempting to be processed but can't
- 14:51Speaker 1: because you won't let it. Please explain and share what
- 14:55Speaker 1: you offer readers in that book.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well that came about after I wrote Emotional Detoks.
- 15:03Speaker 2: So that's twenty eighteen that was published. But mind you,
- 15:09Speaker 2: when you publish a book, you've finished it like the
- 15:13Speaker 2: year before, So twenty seventeen, I probably finished it twenty eighteen.
- 15:18Speaker 2: It's out in the world. During that time period between
- 15:22Speaker 2: twenty seventeen twenty eighteen I started, I had a year
- 15:27Speaker 2: and I started rethinking anxiety based on what I just
- 15:31Speaker 2: wrote an Emotional Detox, and I thought to myself, you know,
- 15:34Speaker 2: there's so much here. There's so much here on anxiety
- 15:40Speaker 2: worth unpacking from an emotional detox perspective. I could write
- 15:44Speaker 2: a whole other book on this, which again then I
- 15:47Speaker 2: repitched it and I said, look, there could be a
- 15:49Speaker 2: whole nother thing on this specific as to what's going
- 15:54Speaker 2: on with people with anxiety. And that's when I came
- 15:57Speaker 2: up with anxieties and emotion looking to be processed but
- 16:00Speaker 2: can't because you won't let it. And it is resistance
- 16:06Speaker 2: when we won't let something happen. We're resisting it. We're
- 16:10Speaker 2: pushing it away, we're minimizing, we're afraid of it. We
- 16:15Speaker 2: cover it up, we put a guard up, we put
- 16:18Speaker 2: walls up. We don't want it to be seen or heard.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And that takes a lot of energy. It takes a
- 16:25Speaker 2: lot of effort. And remember when you're connected to spirit,
- 16:28Speaker 2: you're in that non effort.
- 16:31Speaker 4: And.
- 16:32Speaker 2: So it really stop. Book speaks to cleanses. So each
- 16:39Speaker 2: of these books has the process which is called cleanse,
- 16:44Speaker 2: which is an acronym, and that's one of the things
- 16:46Speaker 2: I channeled, and it's I can tell you what it
- 16:51Speaker 2: stands for if you'd like, would you like me to
- 16:53Speaker 2: go through them?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Okay. So the sea is called clear reactivity, and that's
- 17:01Speaker 2: where I give you some tools and strategies for how
- 17:04Speaker 2: to do that. ELLE is look inward, and that's where
- 17:08Speaker 2: you learn how to tune into and acknowledge your emotions
- 17:14Speaker 2: without retraumatizing yourself. And that's where a lot happens with anxiety.
- 17:20Speaker 2: People retraumatize themselves by revisiting the story. That is what happened.
- 17:25Speaker 2: What was happening to me and my emotional detox journey.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I was retraumatizing myself, and quite honestly, I had a
- 17:33Speaker 2: couple therapists I went to that I felt like I
- 17:37Speaker 2: was getting retraumatized. I finally found someone that knew how
- 17:41Speaker 2: to work with it. I'm not saying it's they're all
- 17:43Speaker 2: like that, of course, but I learned a lot put
- 17:48Speaker 2: it that way of what worked for me personally and
- 17:51Speaker 2: what didn't work. And so that's what gave me the
- 17:55Speaker 2: insight about that step too. I thought, we've got to
- 17:59Speaker 2: learn how to address our emotions without going through the
- 18:04Speaker 2: trauma and putting the body through the trauma again. And
- 18:08Speaker 2: then I so I developed a way to do that
- 18:11Speaker 2: for the l which is called look inward. And then
- 18:15Speaker 2: the next step, and this is a seventh step practice
- 18:18Speaker 2: cleanse is e which is emitt.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Now.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I had written a book previous to these books called
- 18:25Speaker 2: Mantras Made Easy, So I'd done the research on the
- 18:29Speaker 2: power of mantras. They're like spiritual medicine, and I knew
- 18:35Speaker 2: I knew there would be a mantra in the book,
- 18:38Speaker 2: and it just seemed perfect that the E, which is
- 18:42Speaker 2: called emnt would be a mantra, which is a sound vibration.
- 18:48Speaker 2: It could be a seed sound like is ah. It
- 18:51Speaker 2: could be one word, it could be a syllable, it
- 18:54Speaker 2: could be a couple of words, and it's just repeated
- 18:58Speaker 2: and it creates vibration and the body. So the EI
- 19:02Speaker 2: offer people ways to tap into mantra. After you tap
- 19:07Speaker 2: into the sound the vibration, you're an a which is
- 19:12Speaker 2: activate and for the emotional detox system. Because I use
- 19:16Speaker 2: this system in many of the different books. It is
- 19:21Speaker 2: activating means Okay, I have energy. Now, I've acknowledged the emotions,
- 19:26Speaker 2: I've calmed to the reactivity. I'm not retraumatizing. I've added
- 19:32Speaker 2: vibration through mantra. Now my energy is running more fluidly,
- 19:38Speaker 2: and now I'm ready to activate what it is that
- 19:42Speaker 2: I'm creating here, what it is that I'm healing and
- 19:47Speaker 2: that there's many different tools for that. There's visualization, there's
- 19:51Speaker 2: meditation and things like that. And then nourish is all
- 19:56Speaker 2: about the end is about learning to receive so you
- 20:01Speaker 2: can activate something, but then you want to learn how
- 20:05Speaker 2: to take it in. That's about being learning to be
- 20:08Speaker 2: present in the body, being present to what you feel,
- 20:11Speaker 2: honoring it. And then surrender is about your free will.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Surrender is well, you could give someone a million tools
- 20:22Speaker 2: and processes and support, but in the end they have
- 20:27Speaker 2: to allow it, they have to accept it, and they
- 20:33Speaker 2: have to own it. And that's what that surrender is.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's really is I accept full responsibility. I own this,
- 20:41Speaker 2: I allow this healing and transformation in my life, and
- 20:47Speaker 2: that is up to them. And then finally you land
- 20:52Speaker 2: in the e which is the ease statement, and that
- 20:55Speaker 2: is the im that is the place where we reintegrate.
- 21:00Speaker 2: That's the place of embodiment, that's the place of reminding
- 21:04Speaker 2: ourselves that we are not separate beings that were very
- 21:07Speaker 2: much connected, that we are one. And that's where you
- 21:11Speaker 2: land in the cleanse, in a state of oneness.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing that
- 21:17Speaker 1: with us.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You're welcome that in and of itself.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Could become a daily practice or should be a daily practice.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Well that's why I ended up writing Emotional Detoks Now,
- 21:33Speaker 2: which is the third of the series. Yes, because of
- 21:36Speaker 2: what you just said, people were like, I love it.
- 21:41Speaker 2: How do I do that every single day? Can you
- 21:43Speaker 2: write it out for me?
- 21:44Speaker 1: So?
- 21:44Speaker 2: I wrote one hundred and thirty five cleanses in that book,
- 21:49Speaker 2: cleansing for pretty much everything that everybody comes across at
- 21:53Speaker 2: some point in the year, in terms of whether it's
- 21:57Speaker 2: financial stress or families or I took the time and
- 22:03Speaker 2: I wrote out and I work really worked it through
- 22:06Speaker 2: a lot of what I do with my clients, the
- 22:08Speaker 2: kinds of the system for the clean so people could
- 22:11Speaker 2: sit and have a daily practice.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Absolutely, and there are ten minute practices, correct.
- 22:19Speaker 2: They can be as little as ten. I take my
- 22:22Speaker 2: time and maybe do twenty five minutes, but you could
- 22:25Speaker 2: do ten minutes. And I have done ten minutes and
- 22:29Speaker 2: found it to be very effective. The only thing I
- 22:31Speaker 2: recommend is you don't do it in the heat of
- 22:33Speaker 2: the moment. So it's not a oh my gosh, i'm
- 22:37Speaker 2: freaking out, Let me grab this book and do it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: It's not that kind of a practice. It is a
- 22:43Speaker 2: practice learning, and it's a discipline. It's just like you
- 22:48Speaker 2: would treat it like you would treat meditation. You're not
- 22:52Speaker 2: gonna in the middle of a in the middle of
- 22:55Speaker 2: a crisis like start meditating. You're gonna do it every
- 22:59Speaker 2: single day, or at least five days a week or
- 23:02Speaker 2: three days a week. Sit down, go through the process.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And what happens is you're creating memory, You're creating new memory,
- 23:11Speaker 2: and you're creating new associations with emotions because so much
- 23:16Speaker 2: of reactivity is triggered. It's triggered trauma, triggered memories, and
- 23:23Speaker 2: what we're doing is we're recalibrating that nervous system. And
- 23:28Speaker 2: I find as an emotional detox coach that a lot
- 23:32Speaker 2: of people have they're so they've been trained not to
- 23:38Speaker 2: allow their emotions, or that emotions are bad or wrong
- 23:41Speaker 2: or this or that that it's almost like they become
- 23:44Speaker 2: the enemy. And so it's becoming it's getting a healthier
- 23:50Speaker 2: relationship with them, getting to know them. They're part of
- 23:53Speaker 2: who you are. So the whole practice as you get
- 23:56Speaker 2: to know, as you move through clubs, it's really about Okay,
- 24:00Speaker 2: wanting to know this aspect of myself without being afraid
- 24:04Speaker 2: of it, without trying if we're if we're afraid of something,
- 24:06Speaker 2: we try to control it. We're afraid of something, we
- 24:10Speaker 2: try to minimize it, we hide it. But over time,
- 24:14Speaker 2: you're going to be more open and you're going to
- 24:17Speaker 2: see there's nothing to be afraid of. It's not going
- 24:19Speaker 2: to hurt you, especially when you learn to do it
- 24:22Speaker 2: in a way like Cleanse, where you're not retraumatizing yourself.
- 24:28Speaker 1: My guest is Sheryanna Boyle. We're going to be talking

- 26:41Speaker 1: Boyle and Sharianna. Congratulations on your just published book, Just
- 26:46Speaker 1: Ask Spirit, Free your emotions to energize intuition and discover purpose.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I believe this will become available. It can be pre
- 26:54Speaker 1: ordered now, but it will become available on the eighteenth,
- 26:56Speaker 1: is that correct?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, not very much longer. February Eighteenthebruary.
- 27:01Speaker 1: That's wonderful. That's congratulations, that's so wonderful. What inspired this book?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so they've all supported each other and one evolves
- 27:13Speaker 2: into the next one. And this was a natural progression
- 27:19Speaker 2: of really understanding once I. Once I fully understood that
- 27:24Speaker 2: how to process an emotion, then what happened is I
- 27:30Speaker 2: started to see how clients that I was working with
- 27:35Speaker 2: were opening themselves up to intuition. So initially they'd come
- 27:39Speaker 2: to me maybe for anxiety, and I would help them
- 27:44Speaker 2: and support them through emotional detoxing. But it wouldn't be
- 27:48Speaker 2: very long Victor, before there we were no longer discussing anxiety,
- 27:56Speaker 2: and now we're discussing how to connect to their higher knowing,
- 28:01Speaker 2: how to connect to their intuition, and I started to
- 28:04Speaker 2: recognize that when you don't know how to do that,
- 28:08Speaker 2: that actually feeds anxiety and that the more I taught them,
- 28:14Speaker 2: the less anxious they became and the more empowered they became.
- 28:21Speaker 2: And then the other inspiration was my mother. My mother
- 28:25Speaker 2: was always she's my biggest fan, but she's also my
- 28:29Speaker 2: most honest fan. And she's like, when are you going
- 28:33Speaker 2: to write a spiritual book? And I'm like, what do
- 28:35Speaker 2: you mean, Mom? All my books are spiritual, They're all
- 28:38Speaker 2: they all have a spiritual element to them. Now, when
- 28:41Speaker 2: are you going to do you know, the one that
- 28:43Speaker 2: really shares what your gifts and your psychic abilities and
- 28:50Speaker 2: things like that. And I was like, I know, Mom,
- 28:53Speaker 2: I know. She was like, that's the one I'm waiting for.
- 28:57Speaker 2: You got to write that book. So she kind of
- 29:00Speaker 2: gave me a kick in the butt and pushed me
- 29:04Speaker 2: more into the spiritual world. Because I've been heavily engaged
- 29:09Speaker 2: with the mental health world and that's where all of
- 29:11Speaker 2: my training has been in terms of my schooling and
- 29:14Speaker 2: all of that. And I'm also an adjunct psychology professor,
- 29:18Speaker 2: so I've been very brain focused and yoga the body
- 29:24Speaker 2: and all of that kind of stuff, but haven't really
- 29:26Speaker 2: been talking about psychic stuff very much, and so she
- 29:31Speaker 2: between seeing how it really helped my clients and my mom,
- 29:39Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, I'm going to write it. And
- 29:42Speaker 2: then the podcast came. I thought of the name, Just
- 29:48Speaker 2: Asked Spirit, and I thought, I love that name. I
- 29:51Speaker 2: would love to do a podcast on that, and I
- 29:54Speaker 2: would love to invite lots of different people who are
- 29:59Speaker 2: psyched or channeled, and I would like to maybe use
- 30:03Speaker 2: it like a research format, And so I did. So
- 30:07Speaker 2: I started the podcast and I did well over one
- 30:11Speaker 2: hundred and fifty interviews, asking a variety of people, how
- 30:16Speaker 2: do you define spirit? What does spirit mean to you?
- 30:19Speaker 2: And really kind of taking copious notes and then integrated
- 30:25Speaker 2: all of that into just our spirit.
- 30:28Speaker 1: What are the connections between energy and emotion?
- 30:34Speaker 2: So emotions they have, they're fascinating, they have a biochemical component,
- 30:43Speaker 2: they have an energy component in terms of the way
- 30:47Speaker 2: we look at what's called meridian lines in the body,
- 30:51Speaker 2: and that's what acupuncturists go by, or people that use accupressure.
- 30:59Speaker 2: They're looking at how to move energy through the meridian system,
- 31:05Speaker 2: and they're looking at chakras, so and again that also
- 31:09Speaker 2: came from my yoga training, and I'm also a master
- 31:13Speaker 2: level quantum healer, and so I've known I've worked with
- 31:18Speaker 2: a lot of these systems for a while, and when
- 31:21Speaker 2: emotions get blocked in the body, this impacts our energy system,
- 31:28Speaker 2: so our chakras, which are wheels of energy. We have
- 31:31Speaker 2: seven primary but we have more than seven, and there
- 31:37Speaker 2: are the channels, there are the gateways to opening up consciousness,
- 31:42Speaker 2: elevating our awareness. And when what I recognize is as
- 31:46Speaker 2: I would go into emotional processing in my clients, that
- 31:51Speaker 2: really what they were doing is they were balancing their
- 31:53Speaker 2: chakras because again I was using a lot of spiritual
- 31:56Speaker 2: tools in that cleanse, and they were they were starting
- 32:01Speaker 2: to remove blockages, emotional blockages, beliefs, fears, and securities in
- 32:08Speaker 2: their body, and naturally that open them up to bigger things,
- 32:15Speaker 2: things that they would want to connect to, like their insight,
- 32:19Speaker 2: like their psychic abilities. And once again I found the
- 32:23Speaker 2: more I taught them how to do, that guided them.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Because there's a lot of fear around it, Victor, and
- 32:30Speaker 2: I think that's just the conditioning. There's a lot of
- 32:32Speaker 2: fear about spirit, just like there's a lot of fear
- 32:35Speaker 2: around emotions, and it's reminded me a lot of emotional
- 32:41Speaker 2: detox where you have to help people through that and
- 32:45Speaker 2: let them land in what feels comfortable for them. So
- 32:50Speaker 2: I'm not telling people what to believe with this book
- 32:53Speaker 2: or even with the processes. I'm giving them the ability
- 32:57Speaker 2: to connect, and then from their experiences they get to
- 33:02Speaker 2: choose what it is that they feel aligned with.
- 33:07Speaker 1: How do you define spirit well?
- 33:10Speaker 2: For me personally, I define it as pure unconditional love.
- 33:20Speaker 2: When I'm with that pure love, I feel safe, I
- 33:24Speaker 2: feel connected, I feel supported, I feel invincible, I feel resilient, infinite.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I define it as pure consciousness, and it connects me
- 33:40Speaker 2: to my spiritual team, our spiritual teams, which are abundant,
- 33:46Speaker 2: and I'm getting to know my team and becoming closer
- 33:52Speaker 2: with my spiritual team, becoming more learning how to connect
- 33:58Speaker 2: with them and so how to listen and the value
- 34:02Speaker 2: that they bring to my life and the value I
- 34:05Speaker 2: bring to their lives. So for me, it's a consciousness,
- 34:09Speaker 2: it's a state. And then of course I have certain
- 34:13Speaker 2: guides that I kind of lean into a little bit
- 34:16Speaker 2: more than others, where somebody else might lean into something else,
- 34:20Speaker 2: and again, that's entirely up to them. But it's interesting
- 34:24Speaker 2: because you know, I just came off a spiritual retreat
- 34:27Speaker 2: I taught I Just asked Spirit retreat and at a
- 34:31Speaker 2: yoga retreat center for three days, and I was taking
- 34:37Speaker 2: people through the processes of what I wrote about and
- 34:40Speaker 2: just ask spirit. And I had somebody in that room
- 34:45Speaker 2: who saw Jesus during the process. We shared naturally what
- 34:51Speaker 2: we got and she said I saw Jesus. And I said, okay,
- 34:57Speaker 2: and she said, and I don't want to see Jesus.
- 35:02Speaker 2: And I was like, well, that's interesting. And she's like,
- 35:04Speaker 2: and I don't know why I've spent my whole life
- 35:06Speaker 2: rejecting it. I was like, well, and you could see
- 35:11Speaker 2: the look on her face. She just looks shocked, like
- 35:14Speaker 2: why is this happening to me?
- 35:16Speaker 5: Now.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Some people would be like, I saw Jesus, this is amazing.
- 35:20Speaker 2: She wasn't. So that's I said, Well, you get to
- 35:23Speaker 2: accept that, you get to reject that. That's up to you.
- 35:27Speaker 2: But that's what came through in the process. So that's
- 35:33Speaker 2: for her to sort through, not for me to tell
- 35:36Speaker 2: her what to do. And that's what this looks like.
- 35:40Speaker 2: So it really is for me asking Spirit. It's not
- 35:44Speaker 2: just about a question like going to a tarot card
- 35:47Speaker 2: reader and being like, give me, give me some clarity.
- 35:50Speaker 2: What direction do I go in? I know sometimes we
- 35:54Speaker 2: think of it that way. For me, just ask Spirit.
- 35:58Speaker 2: It means you're choosing to go on to a spiritual pathway,
- 36:02Speaker 2: a spiritual journey of getting to know yourself, getting to
- 36:06Speaker 2: know your infinite potential, your resources, what's available to you.
- 36:14Speaker 2: How I believe we have abilities to heal ourselves, to
- 36:19Speaker 2: help others, really infinite possibility. So I guess the way
- 36:26Speaker 2: I would answer your questions it is spirit for me
- 36:29Speaker 2: is a conscious journey.
- 36:33Speaker 1: In my personal experiences, the voice of Spirit is always
- 36:38Speaker 1: soft and reassuring rather than loud and ego based. Do
- 36:43Speaker 1: you find this also?
- 36:45Speaker 2: I do, But I have that experiences Victor, where they
- 36:50Speaker 2: have been loud, not loud as in startle, loud as
- 36:56Speaker 2: in unmistakable. I have heard my name called very strongly,
- 37:04Speaker 2: and it's not my voice. I have heard very clear direction.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I wouldn't say it was loud, but it was pretty direct,
- 37:20Speaker 2: and sometimes it's soft. I guess there's been a variety
- 37:27Speaker 2: of different experiences that I've had. For sure, now I
- 37:32Speaker 2: feel it mostly I'm feeling it as I'm talking to
- 37:35Speaker 2: you right now. Actually, it can feel that the energy
- 37:39Speaker 2: of spirit coming in and kind of it's like kind
- 37:42Speaker 2: of feels like a hug, or it feels like the chills,
- 37:44Speaker 2: or it feels like a like a like a whoosh
- 37:48Speaker 2: of energy. Everybody's different, But that's the journey. That's the journey,
- 37:53Speaker 2: and that's the exciting part is you don't have to
- 37:56Speaker 2: get it like somebody else, and you may have your
- 37:58Speaker 2: own way that you getting information that is unlike anybody else.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'll share a quick story with you. In nineteen seventy five,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I was in the Air Force and I was stationed
- 38:07Speaker 1: in Soul, Korea, and in those days didn't have a
- 38:12Speaker 1: lot of communication back to New York to my mother here,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and consequently had not really received any news of a
- 38:19Speaker 1: negative nature. We exchanged letters on a regular basis, and
- 38:22Speaker 1: one morning I woke up and the voice came to
- 38:25Speaker 1: me and said, you need to call your mother in
- 38:27Speaker 1: New York. She needs to hear from you. And of
- 38:30Speaker 1: course I always responded to that voice, and so consequently
- 38:33Speaker 1: I called. And in those days we had the extension phones,
- 38:37Speaker 1: we had wired phones, and you could pick up a
- 38:38Speaker 1: phone in one room or pick up a phone in
- 38:40Speaker 1: another room. For those of us at a certain age,
- 38:42Speaker 1: remember that. And I called and I said, Mom, is
- 38:46Speaker 1: there anything wrong? And my mother and sister had picked
- 38:48Speaker 1: up the phone at the same time, and my sister goes,
- 38:51Speaker 1: oh my god, how did he find out? And it
- 38:53Speaker 1: turned out she was scheduled for major surgery the next day.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And the message I got was to tell her the
- 38:58Speaker 1: surgery would be a complete success, she'd have a rapid recovery,
- 39:02Speaker 1: everything would be fine. She needed to hear those words
- 39:05Speaker 1: from me, and consequently I delivered them and it worked
- 39:08Speaker 1: out according to what spirit had shared.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Oh that's so beautiful.
- 39:13Speaker 1: And I think that's the type of thing that we're
- 39:15Speaker 1: talking about. We're talking about these messages that are so
- 39:18Speaker 1: critical and crucial and beautiful at times to help us
- 39:22Speaker 1: navigate life.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that little nudge that we get. And it
- 39:27Speaker 2: could be a feeling, it could be just words, it
- 39:31Speaker 2: could come through your dreams. A lot of people get
- 39:34Speaker 2: it that way where they're like, I had a dream
- 39:37Speaker 2: last night. That's so weird, and then you can't stop
- 39:39Speaker 2: thinking about the dream, and then you're wondering and there's
- 39:43Speaker 2: so many different avenues. You is when you go into
- 39:46Speaker 2: those states, those more meditative states, or sometimes it just
- 39:52Speaker 2: comes through when there's a little space in your mind.
- 39:55Speaker 2: So back to the yoga thing, when I used to
- 39:57Speaker 2: get my downloads for what I was going to teach people,
- 40:02Speaker 2: I used to get it while I was out of
- 40:04Speaker 2: red light. So on the way to the yoga studio,
- 40:07Speaker 2: there would be this red light, and it seemed like
- 40:09Speaker 2: I always hit the red light on the way there,
- 40:12Speaker 2: and it was a long one, one of the four
- 40:15Speaker 2: intersection lights. I'd sit there for maybe a minute or two,
- 40:19Speaker 2: and every time I sat there, I just got it
- 40:23Speaker 2: like something would come. And I swear it was just
- 40:26Speaker 2: the way spirit knew who was going to be in
- 40:28Speaker 2: the room, who I was going to be speaking to,
- 40:31Speaker 2: how I needed to choose my words, or choose the angle,
- 40:36Speaker 2: or choose the intention of the practice. And I was
- 40:40Speaker 2: receiving guidance in that moment. And so it can come
- 40:45Speaker 2: in in so many different ways. But I think when
- 40:48Speaker 2: there's space in the mind, even if it's brief, that's
- 40:52Speaker 2: when it's gonna That's when you're gonna hear it.
- 40:54Speaker 1: In the book, you mentioned your motto feel first, then
- 40:59Speaker 1: ask can you tell us what you mean.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's based on all my emotional detoc stuff.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Is feel first, then asked, because if we don't, then
- 41:12Speaker 2: we could be asking based on reactivity. And like you
- 41:17Speaker 2: mentioned before, spirit is not so let's let's I'll get
- 41:21Speaker 2: more specific. So, if you believe in arch angels or
- 41:27Speaker 2: ascended masters, you know, whoever, you believe that your team
- 41:31Speaker 2: is there, your spiritual guides, they don't serve ego. So
- 41:37Speaker 2: if we ask in reactivity, meaning I'm triggered and I'm
- 41:44Speaker 2: trying to manage or control or minimize what I feel
- 41:51Speaker 2: or get rid of it quick. Usually anything trigger, we
- 41:54Speaker 2: want it now, we want it yesterday, we want to
- 41:57Speaker 2: go away. It's like that fix free these flight fight response.
- 42:03Speaker 2: When you come from that place, it's going to feel
- 42:07Speaker 2: like you're not really connecting, or you're not being listened to,
- 42:10Speaker 2: you're not being heard. You'll have a harder time getting
- 42:13Speaker 2: the messages. I'm not saying don't ask during those times.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I think asking is always appropriate. But the way that
- 42:20Speaker 2: I teach and just ask spirit the processes, which is
- 42:23Speaker 2: the seven seven seven step pathway, is to teach people
- 42:28Speaker 2: you want to go into a state of feeling you
- 42:31Speaker 2: want to elevate your energy and then ask and you'd
- 42:35Speaker 2: be surprised what comes through. Just like that woman was like,
- 42:39Speaker 2: wait a minute, Jesus came through. I wasn't even looking
- 42:43Speaker 2: for that. And that happens with a lot of things
- 42:45Speaker 2: where people might get a direct message through, or they
- 42:48Speaker 2: might get information or guidance or healing comes through quite
- 42:53Speaker 2: a bit as well.
- 42:56Speaker 1: May anyone who follows your seven steps and asks spirit
- 43:00Speaker 1: receive and answer.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, absolutely. And just coming off spiritual retreat, I
- 43:09Speaker 2: got to watch it in action. The book. I actually
- 43:13Speaker 2: got some advanced copies for people at that retreat so
- 43:16Speaker 2: they could have it available, and many were skeptical. Victor,
- 43:20Speaker 2: I was surprised. I was like, I was sort of like,
- 43:23Speaker 2: wasn't sure what to expect because it's my first just
- 43:26Speaker 2: as spirit retreat. I've done a lot of emotional detox retreats,
- 43:29Speaker 2: and I thought, oh, they are already going to be connected,
- 43:32Speaker 2: but they weren't. They were a lot were very skeptical
- 43:38Speaker 2: and anxious, a lot of anxiety, a lot of feeling
- 43:43Speaker 2: confused and needing clarity or in difficult situations. And so
- 43:49Speaker 2: I watched those people leave and I checked in with
- 43:55Speaker 2: them At the end, I said, do y'all feel clear? Yes?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Do you feel focused? Yes? Do you feel like you
- 44:04Speaker 2: got the answers you were asking at the beginning of
- 44:08Speaker 2: this weekend? By the end, yes, I mean there was
- 44:11Speaker 2: no maybes or I hope so, or I'll keep trying.
- 44:15Speaker 2: It just didn't happen. So I got to witness the
- 44:20Speaker 2: power of the process. It works.
- 44:23Speaker 1: My guest is Sharianna Boyle, her brand new book, Just
- 44:27Speaker 1: Ask Spirit. We'll be back with more after these words
- 44:30Speaker 1: on the Own Times radio network.

- 44:42Speaker 6: to bring help to communities with little or no oh.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Our projects are not broad mandates, nor are they overnight solutions,

- 45:03Speaker 2: Hello.
- 45:03Speaker 5: I'm Sandy Sedgeby, a host of m Times Magazine's flagship
- 45:06Speaker 5: radio show What is going on? My passion is sifting
- 45:10Speaker 5: through information, research and innovations from new thought teachers, speakers,
- 45:15Speaker 5: and researchers pushing back the boundaries of what we know
- 45:18Speaker 5: about life, energy, metaphysics, and the universe. I love shifting
- 45:23Speaker 5: perceptions about who we are, why we're here, and how
- 45:26Speaker 5: quickly impossible becomes normal when we open our minds, expand
- 45:30Speaker 5: our awareness, and accept that the only limits that exist
- 45:33Speaker 5: are those we place upon ourselves. So if you're the
- 45:36Speaker 5: kind of forward thinking, eager investigator of what lies beyond
- 45:40Speaker 5: the current reality that most perceive, why not make a
- 45:43Speaker 5: date to come play with me in the field of
- 45:45Speaker 5: possibilities at four pm Pacific time seven pm Eastern time
- 45:50Speaker 5: every Thursday, and together we can discover what's really going on.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Hey, Dad, your prescription will be ready in just a minute.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Hey Dad, your laundry will be ready in just a minute.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Dad, your lunch will be ready in.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Just a minute.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Hey honey, why don't you take a minute.
- 46:09Speaker 7: When you help care for a loved one, you give
- 46:11Speaker 7: them as much time as you can, but it's just
- 46:13Speaker 7: as important to take time for yourself. AARP can help
- 46:16Speaker 7: find free care guides to support you and your loved
- 46:19Speaker 7: one at aarp dot org slash caregiving. That's aarp dot
- 46:22Speaker 7: org slash caregiving brought to you by AARP in the
- 46:25Speaker 7: odd Council.
- 46:26Speaker 8: Hi, this is bellemar. I can find humor and almost anything,
- 46:29Speaker 8: but one thing I never laugh about its cruelty to animals.
- 46:32Speaker 8: If you don't get the joke eitherre Right People for
- 46:35Speaker 8: the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Five on one Front Street
- 46:38Speaker 8: in Norfolk, Virginia, two three five one oh back.
- 46:41Speaker 1: On Destination Unlimited. My guests this week Sherryanna Boyle, her
- 46:45Speaker 1: brand new book, Just Ask Spirit, free your emotions to
- 46:50Speaker 1: energize intuition and discover purpose. You had talked about archangels before.
- 46:56Speaker 1: In the book, you discuss two pathways, the elements and
- 47:00Speaker 1: the archangels.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Sure, So in the book I talk about and this
- 47:05Speaker 2: was spirit led, I talk about the seven seven seven
- 47:08Speaker 2: step pathway. And those four number numbers together are very
- 47:14Speaker 2: high vibrational. They represent good luck, they represent spiritual journey,
- 47:20Speaker 2: they awaken the senses. So I love the number seven
- 47:24Speaker 2: seven seven, And so in this pathway, I once again
- 47:31Speaker 2: use cleanse because here's the thing. If it's not broken,
- 47:34Speaker 2: I'm not going to fix it. Cleanse works for processing emotions.
- 47:39Speaker 2: What I did with this book of Just Spirit is
- 47:44Speaker 2: I modified it a little bit, so now you're using
- 47:48Speaker 2: the same cleanse process for same seven steps, but a
- 47:53Speaker 2: little bit of variation in terms of how to connect
- 47:58Speaker 2: to spirit. Those steps are going to allow you to
- 48:01Speaker 2: process your emotions, and then when you get to that
- 48:05Speaker 2: step I mentioned before that was called Activate, that's where
- 48:09Speaker 2: you're going to ask. And in this book, I have
- 48:14Speaker 2: space meaning space for journaling. I have journal prompt questions,
- 48:19Speaker 2: different ways that you can ask Spirit. And then the
- 48:24Speaker 2: next space, which is the nourish and I talked about
- 48:27Speaker 2: that before in the Cleanse, that's receiving, and that's where
- 48:31Speaker 2: I teach people how to receive your answers and guidance.
- 48:35Speaker 2: So it's a little bit more hands on in terms
- 48:38Speaker 2: of let's go through the processes. I do do it
- 48:41Speaker 2: every single day, just like the emotional detos, because it's
- 48:45Speaker 2: kind of when stop shopping and I process my emotions
- 48:49Speaker 2: and I ask Spirit a question every day, even if
- 48:52Speaker 2: I'm not concerned about anything, I still ask because it's
- 48:56Speaker 2: like a muscle and I want to keep it strong
- 48:59Speaker 2: and sharp, so I just ask. Sometimes it's honestly, most
- 49:04Speaker 2: often it's not even for me. I'm asking for someone else,
- 49:09Speaker 2: someone else to receive healing or support or love or
- 49:12Speaker 2: something like usually one of my children. So that is
- 49:16Speaker 2: how the seven to seven step pathway. One of those
- 49:19Speaker 2: pathways is, as you mentioned, arch angels. So what you're
- 49:23Speaker 2: going to do is you're going to process your emotions.
- 49:25Speaker 2: You're going to moving through the same cleanse, and you're
- 49:28Speaker 2: going to learn how to connect with archangels within the cleanse.
- 49:32Speaker 2: I do one archangel at a time. Arch Angels are
- 49:35Speaker 2: basically messengers from God. Chief arc means chief chief messengers.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I el from God, and so it's a great way
- 49:48Speaker 2: to learn. I love working with the archangels, very very
- 49:51Speaker 2: high vibrational. And then I have the elemental pathway in there,
- 49:56Speaker 2: and that's really reminding us, that elemental pathway that everything
- 50:01Speaker 2: is spirit, anything that has a life force. So there's
- 50:05Speaker 2: the spirit of a tree, there's the spirit of the ocean,
- 50:10Speaker 2: there's the spirit of the mountain, there's the spirit of
- 50:13Speaker 2: the sky, and that when we learn to connect to
- 50:16Speaker 2: the spirit the life force around us and we interact
- 50:21Speaker 2: with these energies, we are learning a lot about ourselves
- 50:26Speaker 2: and raising our vibration. So if somebody says I'm not
- 50:29Speaker 2: really into the archangel thing, it just provides another pathway
- 50:34Speaker 2: for them that they might connect more to nature spirits
- 50:39Speaker 2: and they could practice through that avenue. So it's seven
- 50:43Speaker 2: seven seven, seven, seven steps for processing your emotions, seven
- 50:48Speaker 2: steps for connecting spirit, seven archangels, and seven elements.
- 50:55Speaker 1: In the final chapter, before you get into part three,
- 50:59Speaker 1: you provide fifty seven questions that you can ask your
- 51:02Speaker 1: guides or your spiritual team. Can you share one or
- 51:05Speaker 1: two of those with us? Please?
- 51:07Speaker 2: Oh? Sure, I did write out fifty seven. You can
- 51:11Speaker 2: ask your spirit guide. So a lot of people are
- 51:13Speaker 2: curious about their spirit guides. You can ask them their name.
- 51:18Speaker 2: You can also I talked to I had a client
- 51:22Speaker 2: once who actually had a miscarriage and wanted to connect
- 51:28Speaker 2: with that spirit. And we had a conversation and asked
- 51:32Speaker 2: that spirit, the spirit of the miscarriage, the name, or
- 51:38Speaker 2: just connected to the energy of that spirit. And you
- 51:42Speaker 2: can ask, how will I know if I've learned a lesson?
- 51:48Speaker 2: How can I improve my ability to listen? What are
- 51:54Speaker 2: the best ways for me to release stress? Show me
- 52:00Speaker 2: what I cannot see in this situation? How can I
- 52:05Speaker 2: create a life of balance? How can I serve? You
- 52:10Speaker 2: can ask for a sign, You can ask for skill.
- 52:17Speaker 2: I always ask, For example, when I'm writing a book,
- 52:20Speaker 2: I'll ask spirit to show me the research help guide
- 52:24Speaker 2: me to the research that would be the best for
- 52:26Speaker 2: this book, and that's been really amazing how that's shown up.
- 52:31Speaker 2: You can ask about your purpose. A lot of people
- 52:33Speaker 2: want to know that. You can ask them to help
- 52:39Speaker 2: you work something out like a conflict or a problem,
- 52:45Speaker 2: or ask them to help you with your anxiety, you know,
- 52:50Speaker 2: to help you reduce it. You can ask for a hug,
- 52:53Speaker 2: you can ask for them to sit with you, pray
- 52:56Speaker 2: with you, you can ask for healing. Lots of ways
- 53:02Speaker 2: you can ask.
- 53:04Speaker 1: I know you talk about emotional processing as an important
- 53:08Speaker 1: step for asking spirit, but what else do you feel
- 53:11Speaker 1: is important.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I think it's important to just give yourself permission to
- 53:17Speaker 2: go through the process and be open, be curious. Again,
- 53:26Speaker 2: when I went through retreat with people, there were some
- 53:29Speaker 2: people that were skeptical, and I think really what I
- 53:34Speaker 2: saw help them is when they stayed in the game,
- 53:38Speaker 2: meaning don't just shut it down. And how do we
- 53:42Speaker 2: shut down? We judge, we avoid, we put barriers up.
- 53:50Speaker 2: So do if you stay open to the process and trust,
- 53:55Speaker 2: you're going to learn a lot and you're going to
- 53:59Speaker 2: receive a lot as well. So in addition to emotional processing,
- 54:03Speaker 2: I would say just keep an open mind and try
- 54:07Speaker 2: not to judge, and especially don't judge yourself. I know
- 54:11Speaker 2: some people worry like, is this writer, especially if they
- 54:15Speaker 2: were raised very religious and they feel like, is this
- 54:19Speaker 2: tied to something that's outside of my religion. It's okay
- 54:23Speaker 2: to feel that way and to work through that and
- 54:27Speaker 2: to get to know spirit so you can sense the
- 54:32Speaker 2: energy of spirit rather than something that feels separate from you.
- 54:38Speaker 2: It's something that can move through you. There's a oneness
- 54:44Speaker 2: there if you allow yourself to experience it.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Absolutely. My guest is Sheeriana Boyle her book Just Ask
- 54:52Speaker 1: Spirit for your Emotions to energize, intuition and discover purpose. Shariana,
- 54:58Speaker 1: one more time, please share with listeners where they can
- 55:00Speaker 1: get your books and find that more about you and
- 55:02Speaker 1: your amazing work.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Yes, you can go to my website shreyannaboil dot com.
- 55:08Speaker 2: You're going to find all of my books there. You're
- 55:10Speaker 2: going to find the Just As Spirit community. That's where
- 55:14Speaker 2: I go on Zoom twice a week live and we
- 55:19Speaker 2: go through the processes in the book and I give
- 55:22Speaker 2: that real hands on guidance and I teach a little
- 55:25Speaker 2: bit about different things when it comes to just as Spirit,
- 55:28Speaker 2: so you get a little bit of coaching there and
- 55:31Speaker 2: I do private sessions with people to help them. So
- 55:35Speaker 2: you find that at Scherryannaboil dot com.
- 55:38Speaker 1: And your podcast.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Just ask Spirit you got it?
- 55:42Speaker 1: And where can they find that?
- 55:43Speaker 2: I'm sorry, that's they can. They can go to anywhere,
