- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Hello friends, thank you so much for tuning in and for sharing the podcast.
- 0:24We have another great guest and this is another guest that's going to be speaking in person
- 0:30in Green Bay, Wisconsin, May 1st and 2nd.
- 0:33And we'll tell you about that in a minute.
- 0:35It's Brianna Klassen, Editor-in-Chief, President Harbinger's Daily News, Good to See
- 0:41A Sister.
- 0:42Thank you so much for coming back on.
- 0:44Yeah, thank you for having me.
- 0:46Yeah, I just broke the nose, the nose.
- 0:48I just broke the news to Brianna that we sold out a little bit early.
- 0:53And so we're pre-recording this podcast.
- 0:55When you guys are watching this, I think it'll be about a week left in May or I mean in April
- 1:01before May 1st and 2nd.
- 1:02But we've got the schedule up for all the speakers.
- 1:05Brianna is speaking on Friday at the World View Matters Conference and also we're having
- 1:11a Q&A panel with all the speakers on Friday nights, 7.15.
- 1:16So you can get the schedule on the website.
- 1:19We are now, since we sold out, and it's going to be packed in there.
- 1:23We are now working on live streaming details.
- 1:26Hopefully we will be doing that and getting that up and running will let you know how you
- 1:30can watch that if you have not got tickets.
- 1:33I've already got emails saying, yeah, I just went to the site, tried to get tickets and
- 1:37I sold out.
- 1:39So that's a good problem to have.
- 1:40Brianna, thank you for all you do.
- 1:42HarbingersDaily.com didn't give the website.
- 1:46HarbingersDaily.com.
- 1:48He's got a page on there and we'll talk about a few of her articles.
- 1:52But first let's start with, this was a couple of weeks ago now in time, the Trump photo,
- 1:59the AI photo.
- 2:00Oh my goodness, people get focused on, I mean I guess it's got to be addressed, right?
- 2:05What are your thoughts on that and then the tiff between him and Riley Gaines?
- 2:09Walk us through that now.
- 2:12Yeah, well I think that the sharing of the photo initially was, you know, it was inappropriate
- 2:19because it really did very quite overtly depict him as Jesus.
- 2:25He came out after and said that he had taken it down because it was misunderstood and he
- 2:31was just a doctor and then you know a doctor wearing, you know, these 2,000 years ago robes
- 2:37and lights from his hands.
- 2:39I don't know how that, but okay.
- 2:43But he had Riley Gaines who responded to it on social media was very disappointed that
- 2:49she had seen it.
- 2:50She said, I'm still happy that he's in the Oval Office.
- 2:52I wouldn't change my vote.
- 2:54It's not anything to do with that, but she said, I think a little humility would serve
- 2:58him well.
- 2:59That was what she said and she also added like, you know, God is not mocked and that
- 3:03something that he needs to understand is that, you know, blasphemy is not something that
- 3:07should be taken lightly.
- 3:09And then that kind of began a tiff where Trump came out and said, well, I never really
- 3:16liked her anyway.
- 3:17And Riley Gaines, no, she's really on the fighting lines of protecting women in sports
- 3:27and defending biological reality.
- 3:29She's a Christian.
- 3:30So obviously by her statements, but she responded to it just beautifully because she said, you
- 3:36know, I don't get my feelings hurt easily.
- 3:38I don't do this for the approval of man.
- 3:41I do this to the approval of God.
- 3:43And, you know, I want to spend eternity in a real place called heaven and I would love
- 3:47for Trump to be there too, she said.
- 3:49And Jesus is the way the truth in the life and she just, you know, brought that all over
- 3:54again.
- 3:55She was like, I haven't changed my support.
- 3:56That's not what it's about.
- 3:57It's just that the photo itself was inappropriate and it wasn't really necessarily thought out
- 4:04before it was done.
- 4:06And hopefully it's a direct reflection of an actual pride there that Trump has.
- 4:12And I hope that that's not a proper reflection of like how he views himself.
- 4:17And that's been a problem from, I mean, his arrogance is pride for a long time.
- 4:22And I know he's had the gospel shared with him.
- 4:26I know we're going to talk a little bit about one of your articles from earlier this
- 4:30month.
- 4:31President Trump publishes a powerful private letter from Franklin Graham.
- 4:35The only way to have it is through the shed blood of Jesus.
- 4:38Brianna, speak for a moment about the people and I, I'm going to say this nicely that
- 4:46are either pretenders or pastors or influencers that are in the Oval Office.
- 4:52We've got Trump's ear in that faith office.
- 4:54One of them is Paula White, Kane.
- 4:57We know Trump heard the gospel many, many times from different people.
- 5:01It doesn't look like he has, he doesn't understand it because he always talks about works and
- 5:07other things.
- 5:08Just talk to us a little bit more about that.
- 5:11Well I think that there's a stark contrast between some of the advisors that he has that
- 5:16are good and some of the advisors that he has that are bad.
- 5:19Because he does have Franklin Graham that he's put in all these advisory positions when
- 5:23it comes to religious freedom in the White House faith office and all of that.
- 5:27But then you have on the other end, Paula White and Paula White is very much into the new
- 5:32apostolic reformation, which it's kingdom now theology.
- 5:37It's a theology that says that the church is going to be making the world better and
- 5:42better until Jesus comes.
- 5:44It puts the owners actually on people rather than Christ to repair what's gone on in the
- 5:48world.
- 5:50When you think about how Trump from a secular mindset, maybe he does have some reverence
- 5:56for God's word, but from a secular mindset, that's what he would like to hear.
- 6:02That's why it's also so appealing to this prosperity gospel because it's telling people
- 6:09that it's going to constantly get better.
- 6:12Even in Trump's case, you're a tool on the hand that's going to bring about Christ kingdom.
- 6:16That person's pride wouldn't like hearing that, especially in the position of power that
- 6:20he's in.
- 6:21So it's really difficult, but then you have really good people.
- 6:25Also there, like Franklin Graham, Mike Huckabee also has his ear.
- 6:29We saw back in June, he had sent a letter to Trump saying, you know, just when they were
- 6:33deciding whether or not to join Israel and striking Iran and their nuclear infrastructure,
- 6:39Mike Huckabee had sent a letter and said, he's like, the Lord personally guide you on
- 6:46this situation, and he implored him to look to God for the answer on that, and yeah,
- 6:53but Poloites, a real hard one, and we have a lot of examples in the Bible, unfortunately
- 7:00of kings gravitating toward bad advisors who are just going to tell them what they want
- 7:04to hear.
- 7:06We saw that too in 1 Kings 20, he had Makiah and King Ahab, and King Ahab said, you
- 7:14know, I don't want to listen to this one guy.
- 7:16I hate this guy because I keep him in prison, in fact, because every time he comes to me,
- 7:22he just has horrible news and he never says anything good.
- 7:25And Makiah's response to that was, as the Lord liveeth, what the Lord sayeth unto me,
- 7:30that will I speak, and that is exactly how we should be thinking about it, that you need
- 7:36people that are actually going to be telling you the truth.
- 7:39You can have lots of people that will just advise you and say everything that you want
- 7:44to hear, but a good leader needs people who are going to say the hard truth.
- 7:49I think you put that perfectly, and just as human nature, we want people to tell us
- 7:55what we like to hear, and it's hard to take the criticism or the truth sometimes.
- 8:01But you're right.
- 8:02There are advisors on both sides in this White House faith office, and who has the president's
- 8:07ear.
- 8:08Now, I'm not a Trump apologist, again, I like what Riley Gaines said, I would appreciate
- 8:13his policies and the things he's done, amazing things in both times he's been in office,
- 8:19his first administration, and this one.
- 8:22I don't like his short reaction, he gets so defensive, he gets so immature, he attacks people,
- 8:29and even people like Riley Gaines, he attacks people who have done great work, but I just
- 8:33do want to read something that Andy Woods posted, and I'll get your response to this, Brianna.
- 8:39This was a response to the Trump Jesus picture, a healer picture, that hopefully he doesn't
- 8:47see himself as a savior, but anyway, few presidents in the history of mankind have done
- 8:53more for the advancement of the Judeo-Christian faith than President Donald Trump, and then
- 8:59there's just some bullet points here, appointed three Supreme Court justices who, eventually,
- 9:05overturned Roe v Wade, established the White House faith office, there wasn't one, created
- 9:10the task force to eradicate anti-Christian bias, he launched the Religious Liberty Commission,
- 9:17he pardoned pro-life activists and Christians targeted for just peaceful prayer, and also
- 9:23moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem, protections for voluntary prayer, and religious speech
- 9:29in public schools and federal workplaces, and the list goes on, and one more quote, and
- 9:35again, Andy Woods shared this, praise God, imagine how much more orderly the world would
- 9:40be if we all scrutinized and corrected ourselves as harshly as we do the president, and go.
- 9:49Brianna, your thoughts?
- 9:50Yeah.
- 9:51Well, there's so much that Trump has done when it comes to religious freedom, when it
- 9:56comes to pro-life, when it comes to all that he's done with Israel, that alone should
- 10:01get the support of Christians, it's not like he's going to be doing something like this
- 10:06and we scrutinize him and say, either I'm going to vote for the other guy, well, that's
- 10:11not an option when you're talking about the Democrat Party, you had people recently, there
- 10:16was a lady who left the Democrat Party because she said, I've been compromising my faith
- 10:20in Christ for too long, and she left the Democrat Party because she said, this is such
- 10:24of contradiction to the word of God in every aspect, but the other answer to it cannot
- 10:31be that we're not going to vote, you know, we have somebody that's actually taking action
- 10:36and doing a lot of really wonderful things, and a good biblical example of it is what we
- 10:42saw with Nebuchadnezzar, where this was somebody who ruled basically the world at that period
- 10:48of time, it was the king of Babylon, and he saw God intervene through Daniel, and when
- 10:57he saw God intervene through Daniel, he acknowledged that God was exactly who he said he was, and
- 11:04his response to that, unfortunately, in the end, kept phasing back into pride in taking
- 11:10that prideful reaction and lacking humility, and so you saw God need to correct him.
- 11:16There's that chapter in the book of Daniel that reflects that, that's written by Nebuchadnezzar,
- 11:24that was of God's correction to him, so I think what we need to be praying for is correction,
- 11:30and with Riley Gaines, you can see the heart of Christians, and the heart of Christians is that
- 11:35there would be a genuine understanding of the gospel message, what Jesus came to do, and
- 11:42that's what would happen in the actual heart of Trump, that he would start developing a
- 11:46relationship with Christ, because it's not about works, and that's what Franklin Graham
- 11:50multiple times has underscored to Trump, it's not by works, it's not because you
- 11:55would, you know, brought peace here, or did any of these wonderful actions, that doesn't
- 11:59negate the fact that they're great actions, but if you don't understand the truth and
- 12:05they have accepted Christ and understand the shed blood on the cross and you need for repentance
- 12:09and a savior, then, then you're no better.
- 12:14So we talk an awful lot, we maybe the body of Christ and others about praying for the
- 12:18president, but do we, Christian, do we really pray for those in authority, those in leadership?
- 12:27Well, let me go back to your article now, and I just want to quote, think about this
- 12:32and how this sounds, friends, and your heart should go out to our president, regardless
- 12:37of what you think of him, and like I said, I don't like a lot of his actions and language,
- 12:42and his, I don't know, thin skin, which surprises me about him, but you say, here are some
- 12:48of his responses, Brianna, he said, President Trump said, I don't think there's anything
- 12:52that's going to get me to heaven, I really don't.
- 12:56And then he says, I'm not sure I'm going to, going to make it to heaven, but I've made
- 13:00a better life for a lot of people.
- 13:04So then he works now, he's got this misunderstanding, but I've done some good things, and then
- 13:08I'll go on and let you continue.
- 13:11At times you say Trump would express confidence in his odds of getting to heaven at other
- 13:16times, he would merely hope at some point that he would, he would voice outright concerns
- 13:24about his eternity.
- 13:25So talk to us a little bit more about that.
- 13:27This is a man that's wrestling with this idea that if there is a God and there is a heaven,
- 13:33I'm not sure if the odds are great that I'm going to get there.
- 13:35That's kind of sad and sobering.
- 13:38Go ahead, Brianna.
- 13:39It's your article.
- 13:40Walk us through that a little bit.
- 13:42Well, the article surrounded a letter, a personal letter that Franklin Graham had sent
- 13:47Trump back in October during the Israel, Israel Hamas cease fire.
- 13:54And he shared it on Palm Sunday, he took a screenshot of a message of, of this letter
- 13:58that Franklin Graham had sent.
- 14:00And Franklin Graham, he shared the heart of many Christians and saying, I want a way
- 14:06that I can explain this so that he understands that there is an assurance that you can have.
- 14:12But it's not an assurance that somebody else can give you.
- 14:14It's not an assurance that we can say, oh, you're good, you're fine, you know, you've
- 14:18done enough good.
- 14:19It's not an assurance that your works can provide you.
- 14:22It's something that only comes through understanding what Jesus did and developing a personal
- 14:28relationship with him.
- 14:30And so, I mean, it was a full salvation message that Franklin Graham had had given to
- 14:36the president.
- 14:37And like, you know, his father before him, God has really given Franklin Graham a favor
- 14:43in the eyes of the leadership in Washington, which is incredible.
- 14:49And he's using it properly, he's using it to say, let me explain to you exactly what
- 14:54the gospel is from start to finish.
- 14:57And you had people magazine, they reported on this letter that Franklin Graham had sent.
- 15:07And by the way, Franklin Graham, he had told Eric Stackleback in an interview, he said,
- 15:11I, you know, I never imagined that this letter was going to be published because this was
- 15:15just a private letter where I wanted him to know that you can be assured that you're going
- 15:19having, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you understand these things.
- 15:25But people magazine took it completely differently.
- 15:27And they had a headline that said, Reverend Franklin Graham tells Trump his soul is secure
- 15:34after being punished for getting a fundraised for help getting to heaven.
- 15:40That was their headline and throughout the article itself, other than they, they did
- 15:46quote from, from Franklin Graham's letter, but everything else surrounding that was
- 15:51them saying that, oh yeah, just, you know, Franklin Graham gave him the thumbs up.
- 15:55You're assured, you got eternity, don't worry about it when that is the exact opposite
- 16:00of what Franklin Graham was trying to say.
- 16:02And the message that he was trying to convey, and you had people below in the comments
- 16:06of that article that we're saying that is, that this is so deceiving.
- 16:12This is such a manipulated version of this story.
- 16:16So not surprising, they want people, they want all Christians to look like
- 16:22Polo White where it's like this prosperity, you can buy your way to heaven type
- 16:27mentality, they want Christians to look corrupt, they want them to, you know, and so it's,
- 16:33it's very sad, but that is not Franklin Graham.
- 16:36Yeah, he didn't say that.
- 16:37How disingenuous and that's, I'm using that word lightly on people magazine being kind
- 16:44because you know how we've talked about the media quite a bit, and just how dishonest
- 16:48and manipulative they are, and they're agenda driven.
- 16:51They want Trump to look bad, they want Christians to look bad.
- 16:54If they can say, well, yeah, Franklin Graham thinks said Trump is secure, which he's
- 16:59not from our understanding, and we're also looking at the fruit of someone's life.
- 17:05That's what we are to do as believers.
- 17:07You will know them by their fruit.
- 17:10Other people are looking at this and go, well, Trump can go to heaven, you know, no,
- 17:13that's just not what happened.
- 17:15That's just another sad state of the, a reflection of the media today, right, the agenda
- 17:20driven.
- 17:21Absolutely.
- 17:23So let's move on now.
- 17:25We've got, what's going by fast, Brianna, you've got another article over at Harbanger's
- 17:30Daily.
- 17:31This came out a few weeks ago on a price to pay for supporting Jews.
- 17:37So Israel Christians are now in the crosshairs of Europe's rising anti-Semitism.
- 17:45So share a little bit about this.
- 17:47I, in fact, I spoke to Olivier Melnick recently, and what's his word for it?
- 17:54Collateral anti-Semitism.
- 17:56Isn't that interesting?
- 17:57Yeah.
- 17:58And I'm going, boy, is that what, go ahead and just share what you shared in this article.
- 18:03Walk us through there.
- 18:04Well, that article was written in response to a bombing attack that happened in the Netherlands,
- 18:13targeting Christians of Christian pro-Israel group.
- 18:16And it was because they are so in favor and in support of Israel, and they do regular
- 18:21events to combat anti-Semitism, and that's why they were targeted in this attack.
- 18:26And you had the ambassador to, to the Netherlands from Israel that responded to it and said,
- 18:33you know, part of the problem here is that you've let anti-Semitism go rampant.
- 18:37And the next progression of that is that everything, everybody even remotely associated
- 18:42to it also gets persecuted as a result.
- 18:45And obviously we saw that within Nazi Germany as well.
- 18:48It wasn't just Jewish people that were sent to the concentration camps.
- 18:52It was anyone that dared to feed them, to shelter them to any of these things.
- 18:58They were also targeted as a result of that.
- 19:00So it's a very impactful progression of the anti-Semitism that we can see within our society.
- 19:08And Olivier, I brought up in the article, he had mentioned an example where he had in
- 19:13England, people going door-to-door, that we're asking whether or not people would support
- 19:18the BDS movement, the boycott divestment and sanctions movement again against Israel.
- 19:23And we're recording their names in addresses if they said no.
- 19:27And so, I mean, it's getting worse and worse especially across Europe, you can see that.
- 19:33And that's just a really dangerous progression of this.
- 19:38And when we see that happening over there, sadly, it's not too long before it ends up over
- 19:44here in North America.
- 19:45I mean, I don't know what it's like in Canada.
- 19:48I would think it's a little bit more, obviously a lot more progressive, but where the anti-Semitism
- 19:52is concerned.
- 19:54We're seeing it in America, we have since October 7, and the planned, well-organized,
- 20:00well-funded protests on college campuses and everywhere else, just to-
- 20:05And at that and all of these Western nations, Canada, Australia, the UK, you look at these.
- 20:12And you also have an administration in place in both of these that are not doing anything.
- 20:16You had the Bondi Beach attack during Hanukkah, that was horrific.
- 20:21And yet, you still had people a day later taking to the streets to support Hamas again and
- 20:27to go against Israel.
- 20:29And it's just, but this is what happens when you don't have good leadership.
- 20:33When you don't have good leadership, these kind of things flourish, everyone does what's
- 20:37right in their own eyes.
- 20:39Yes, couldn't say it better, these are demonic times.
- 20:44Christians really need to be discerning, more discerning than we've ever been, and really
- 20:48understand what's going on.
- 20:50And who's behind this, the enemies behind this?
- 20:53In the article, you already quoted Olivier Melnick, you also said, trusted ministry leaders
- 21:00such as Pastor Gary Hamrick, I love this man of God, of Cornerstone Chapel, our urging
- 21:06Christians to choose boldness over silence, taking a biblical stand to defend and support
- 21:14Israel and the Jewish people, no matter the risk and opposition.
- 21:19Brianna, aren't we living in, I'm almost a repeat of history, I'm thinking about Dietrich
- 21:23Bonhoeffer and others over in Germany during the days of Hitler.
- 21:29We have a choice to make now.
- 21:30It's not as bad here in America as it was, but my goodness.
- 21:34We're seeing some disturbing signs here now, aren't we in North America?
- 21:39And you also saw with the Nazi Germany at that time, this stark rift between people who
- 21:44held to a biblical worldview and those who were willing to meld and morph their views into
- 21:49the Nazi's agenda because it was more easily done.
- 21:52It was more accepted by the culture.
- 21:54It made their lives better to not have to worry about being targeted in this way, but
- 21:59you had a lot of people, and those are the people that we really remember today in books
- 22:05that were such a fantastic example of saying like Corey Ten Boone and others who were willing
- 22:10to go out of their way and support for the Jews because that's what the Bible calls us to do.
- 22:16That is the love that God calls for us to have for the Jewish people.
- 22:21So this is such an important topic, and it's not going to go away.
- 22:26I speak for a moment, and this is not in your article, but I just thought about some
- 22:31people are kind of growing weary about hearing this because it's disturbing to see what's
- 22:36happening around the world.
- 22:37What really is, if you're a Bible-believing Christian and you know the word of God, you
- 22:42love the word of God, and you're looking at what's happening to Israel, to the Jewish people,
- 22:47not to the government in Israel, but to the people.
- 22:51It really is disturbing you kind of want to check out because you don't want to see the
- 22:54headlines.
- 22:55You don't want to hear about the attacks, but it's happening.
- 22:58So what would you say to people who are kind of wanting to kind of back off and not really
- 23:03engage and pay attention to this anymore?
- 23:07Yeah.
- 23:08Well, I mean, I'll start by saying that I actually, I really enjoy the Netanyahu government.
- 23:11I think that he's done a fantastic job.
- 23:14He's been, I think that God has used him many times for the protection of Israel.
- 23:19Prior to him, you had for a short time, Yehre Lapid, and he stood up at the United
- 23:24Nations and said that he and all of Israel was in favor of a two-state solution.
- 23:29So the leadership in Israel is extremely important because that is something that would directly
- 23:34harm Israel.
- 23:36And yeah, anyway, I'll move on from that.
- 23:38I just like every time somebody's like, well, not necessarily the government of Israel.
- 23:42I'm like, you know what?
- 23:43I really do like that Netanyahu.
- 23:47But no, I think what was very shocking to a lot of people after October 7th was it wasn't
- 23:54a conversation that was just about Israel.
- 23:56It was a conversation that became about every Jewish person.
- 23:59So you had Jewish people that were being boycotted.
- 24:02You had people who couldn't wear, you know, the men with a Yamaka on the top of their
- 24:06head or a Kippur, David Starr necklace, these people were being targeted in the streets.
- 24:12You have anti-Semitism so dramatically on the rise.
- 24:17And a lot of people don't understand that it is the responsibility of the church, as Gary
- 24:22Hammark said, to be opposing these things, to be showcasing that biblical love for them,
- 24:27and also to be responding to this false doctrine that treats the Jews as if they have no importance.
- 24:37The Jews have a tremendous amount of importance.
- 24:39In fact, when after the rapture, when the 7-year tribulation begins, it's called the time
- 24:45of Jacob's trouble.
- 24:46And a lot of Christians, I think, fail to recognize that what happens when Jesus returns?
- 24:53What causes Jesus to return?
- 24:55What causes Jesus to return is the Jewish people collectively crying out to him.
- 25:01In Zechariah 12, it says, they will look on the one whom they've pierced and mourned
- 25:05for him, is one mourns for an only son.
- 25:08That it is that call out of recognition of their Messiah, of Jesus as their Messiah.
- 25:13That is the reason why Jesus returns in the second coming.
- 25:16It's his response to that call.
- 25:18And I think that when you have a church that unravels Israel and tries to separate it
- 25:26from being interwoven into God's plan of redemption, then you have a church also that doesn't
- 25:31care about the Jewish people, doesn't care about the Jewish state of Israel.
- 25:36It doesn't matter that they're fully in line with international law.
- 25:39It doesn't matter that even from a secular standpoint, there's so many reasons to support
- 25:44the nation of Israel.
- 25:47Yeah, the last thing that I would say with that is back to the Paula White thing just briefly.
- 25:54Is Jamar Kelle did a really fantastic interview with Brandon Holthaus and everyone should
- 26:02go watch it.
- 26:03It was a great program.
- 26:04And she talked about these different false theologies that are within the church and she addressed
- 26:10this.
- 26:11Paula White had said that she made an analogy where she compared the sufferings of Trump
- 26:18to the sufferings of Jesus.
- 26:21Brandon Holthaus, he responded to that and he said, we shouldn't be surprised with somebody
- 26:26that has theology like this, that they're going to be giving more advice that they're going
- 26:30to try to move toward self-puffer of Trump because they think they get them head or whatever
- 26:38it may be.
- 26:39But he said, we need to be praying for Trump to have good advisors, especially as it relates
- 26:44to the nation of Israel.
- 26:45That's extremely important.
- 26:46And I was very glad that he had brought that up and brought that into the conversation.
- 26:51Amen, sister.
