**Silver and Gold Investors ** - 🚨 THIS is NEW Territory - Buckle Up · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
$100 silver. The thought could soon become a
0:05
reality. We have a lot of data to look at
0:07
today. We have a lot of interesting
0:09
stories and developments coming up this week that are going to
0:12
impact the silver and gold price and I think continue to put us
0:17
on the road to much higher prices, not only for silver but
0:21
also for gold. Let's start by taking a look at
0:23
this piece of data which points us toward the amount of paper
0:28
silver being traded on the electronic exchanges.
0:31
Our friend the dude. On Friday of last week when
0:35
silver went above $42.00 per oz, the paper silver market traded
0:40
almost 400,000,383 million paper oz.
0:46
The paper markets are in a state of, let's say, friction right
0:51
now, a state of imbalance. And on top of everything else
0:55
happening in the precious metals markets, we got to keep a close
0:58
eye on what develops with them because the big people that
1:02
analyze it closely are throwing up a lot of red flags.
1:06
We're going to talk more about the COMEX in a little bit, but
1:08
let's talk about $100 silver, $77 silver.
1:13
We're going to go out next to the Silver Academy.
1:15
And they quoted a chart here from a guy named Graddy.
1:20
Triple digit silver by Christmas.
1:24
That's a tongue twister. The surge that shocks the world.
1:28
OK, gratty states. Big patterns lead to big moves.
1:33
Getting in before the general public is always key.
1:36
Now trying to break above the blue line could see 60 to $70 on
1:41
the breakout. Again, this is the epic.
1:44
The mother of all legit looking probable cup and handle
1:48
patterns. And as you can see on this
1:50
pattern, let's draw it quickly here.
1:52
Here's the cup, right, going all the way back to 1980, all the
1:56
way to 2011. And here's the handle.
1:59
Here's where we're breaking through and we are doing it as
2:02
we speak. It's going to be super
2:04
interesting to see what happens in the markets this evening,
2:07
Sunday night when the when the gold and silver markets open in
2:12
green. This is full of great
2:14
information. Silver finally smashed through
2:16
42 an ounce, an explosive move that has utterly changed the
2:20
investment landscape and signaled a global financial
2:23
shift of historic proportions. This tidal wave isn't simply a
2:28
speculative surge. All indicators point to a
2:31
relentless self feeding silver rally destined to catapult
2:35
prices toward $77 and then with with breathtaking speed into
2:42
triple digit territory in red. And again guys, triple digit
2:47
territory is $100 silver. There's no stopping at the time
2:52
for waiting is over. The silver shortage is now is a
2:56
crisis and only action today will preserve and multiply
3:00
tomorrow's wealth. Man, there's a lot in this
3:02
article. OK?
3:03
The cause is as urgent as it is clear.
3:06
A catastrophic mismatch between the world's dwindling physical
3:09
silver supply and it's insatiable demand.
3:12
Bloomberg confirms the London one year silver lease rates have
3:17
blasted above 5%, while on September 4th the LBM as Bruce
3:22
Imakuzu reported a London one month lease rate skyrocketing to
3:27
an extraordinary 6.4%. Skyrocketing lease rates signal
3:32
the panic behind the deaths of bullion banks and the
3:35
desperation brewing in the heart of the London market.
3:39
The paper claims are crumbling. Industrial giant sovereign funds
3:43
and retail investors are scrambling for real metal, not
3:47
empty promises in yellow. Industrial silver demand alone
3:52
now consumes 83% of global mine output, compared to just 51% a
3:59
decade ago. A few more things.
4:02
There is such a great story for silver right now.
4:04
Private investors are draining the London Bullion Market
4:08
Association vaults, driving lease rates to all time highs
4:11
and exposing the fatal shortfall in deliverable physical silver.
4:15
And the ironic part, The paradoxical part is that on the,
4:19
the on the retail side in the United States, there's an
4:24
overabundance of silver, but guys everywhere else.
4:27
And the critical thing to remember about that is that that
4:31
retail demand level, investment level from the United States,
4:35
it's a, it's a, it's a player in the overall demand picture, but
4:39
it's not the £500 gorilla which is the industrial demand.
4:44
So just because we can go to our local coin shop and the shelves
4:48
are full of available, you know, sovereign coins, bars, all that
4:52
good stuff does not mean that under the surface there's not a
4:56
massive imbalance that is brewing.
4:58
Fiat's last stand, the Fed trapped in insurmountable debt
5:02
and evaporating global trust. We're going to look at the debt.
5:05
U.S. debt clock here in a second is presiding over the death
5:08
spiral of Fiat currency. The monetary system is a pyramid
5:13
built on IO, US and digital phantoms.
5:15
Aye, aye, captain. Here we go.
5:18
The silver rocket. Next stop, 77 dollars, then
5:21
triple digits prior to Christmas 2025.
5:25
Yes, and finally. The chart has broken every every
5:29
technical ceiling, $42.00 is just the launching pad.
5:33
As resistance evaporates, silver is primed for a relentless
5:37
assault towards 60, then $77 before the volatility of silver.
5:42
Physical panic buying drives the price into into a euphoric
5:46
bubble. Triple digits are no longer a
5:49
fantasy, but the logical endpoint of cascading defaults
5:53
and collapsing confidence. Those who hesitate will be left
5:56
behind, holding paper in a world gone irreversibly real.
6:01
And you know, look, I'm not a financial advisor.
6:04
I'm not giving financial advice. I said I like silver at $20 per
6:08
oz. I'll tell you this right now, at
6:10
$42.00 per oz, I still love silver.
6:13
I have a feeling you probably do too.
6:16
And I've said for months and months and months, and it's not
6:19
just me. There's a lot of other top
6:21
analysts who are saying the same thing.
6:23
Once silver breaks through that 424344 range, it's a pure rocket
6:30
ship to $50 per oz because there is no resistance up there
6:34
whatsoever. Let's go take a quick look and
6:38
what's going on in China with the silver price.
6:41
And there's something very interesting I want to point out
6:43
to you about this. This is from our friend the
6:46
Oriental Ghost. He gives us the prices from
6:49
China on a daily basis. These are the Chinese market
6:53
closing silver prices on Friday. This is the SG, the Shanghai
6:59
Gold Exchange. There's silver right there.
7:02
AG look, it's pretty close to where we are now.
7:05
Again, that was before our market on Friday, which had a
7:08
very, very good day. It'll be interesting to see what
7:12
happens overnight on Sunday in the Chinese physical market.
7:16
But I want you to think about something as the Chinese take
7:19
over, as the East Eastern countries, India, China, Russia
7:24
take over the pricing mechanism, the power in the precious metals
7:28
market, it's actually a good thing.
7:30
Typically what we had seen is that in the Chinese physical
7:33
market, the price was much, much higher than what we had in the
7:37
spot market in the United States.
7:39
We're going to see a day where those prices converge and that
7:42
will actually indicate to us more and more and more that the
7:46
Chinese and the Russians and the Indians are taking over control
7:50
of pricing silver in the same absolutely can be said for gold.
7:55
Let's go look though it's some some astounding data that we
7:58
have out there in regard to what is happening on the US debt
8:03
situation. But then we want to look at the
8:05
paper to silver ratio as well. Look, guys, big news.
8:10
We've almost reached 37 trillion, $500 billion in
8:15
national debt. This interest down here, the
8:17
interest number where you can see my yellow cursor is the one
8:20
we really want to keep our eye on that has grown larger than
8:25
the Department of War, Department of Defense budget,
8:29
but will only continue to grow higher as #1 the US national
8:34
debt grows higher, right? And we just recently celebrated
8:37
getting the 37 trillion in debt. But also as fewer and fewer
8:41
buyers emerge for all this debt, the interest rate will go higher
8:46
and higher, also driving the interest expense higher.
8:49
It's really truly a debt spiral, truly a that situation that you
8:54
and I didn't create in the founding fathers of the United
8:57
States are rolling over in their graves in regard to let wrist
9:02
right. I can't draw on this side of the
9:04
screen for some reason, but if you see my yellow cursor right
9:07
there, guys, paper to silver ratio that comex that we talked
9:11
about earlier, currently sitting at 361.
9:15
That means there's 361 paper claims for each one real ounce
9:20
of silver. The other number we like to look
9:22
at on this graph is the dollar to silver ratio.
9:26
That indicates the growth in M2 money supply, the amount of
9:29
money that's being printed through the M2 money supply for
9:33
each one ounce of silver that's being produced by the world
9:37
silver miners. All right, let's talk about big
9:40
news this week. We've got the Federal Reserve on
9:44
Wednesday. We'll issue their interest rate
9:46
decision. We're going to go look and see
9:48
what the markets are telling us we should anticipate.
9:51
It's pretty much a done deal. All showed up that we're going
9:54
to get at least 1/4 point cut. I think there's a much higher
9:57
chance of 1/2 percentage point cut than the markets are giving
10:01
credit for. But let's go out to the CME
10:03
Group and see what the what the markets are telling us to expect
10:08
at this point. And as you can see here, the
10:12
next FOMC meeting is in three days that will be on Wednesday.
10:18
Here we go. 93% chance of 1/4 percent cut.
10:22
You can see that on the right hand side and a measly 7% chance
10:28
of 1/2 percentage point cut. I believe those numbers, in
10:31
reality, the odds of a of 1/2 percent percentage cut much,
10:36
much higher than what we had. Let's learn about the Comex.
10:39
We're going to go back to the Silver Academy Substack.
10:41
They put out some great info. They put out some insightful
10:45
information about the Comex and what is going on there.
10:48
Because again, guys, a lot of people are calling for a
10:52
potential for a silver squeeze. Let me look at you.
10:55
I want to tell you, I want to look you in the eye and be able
10:57
to smile when I say this. We don't want a silver squeeze.
11:02
We want a silver squeeze. That's something unique to Ron's
11:07
basement, to US basement dwellers.
11:09
By the way, thank you for being here.
11:11
Thanks for giving me your time. Please subscribe to the channel.
11:13
It is free. Most importantly, I want you to
11:16
feel like you found a friend, a home away from home.
11:18
You know where to find me. Please come back.
11:21
OK? We don't want, and this is ours.
11:23
We made this up and we don't want a silver squeeze.
11:26
We want a silver squeeze, a long drawn out, not a spike, but a
11:33
long continued drawn out squeeze where the true price of silver
11:38
is discovered by market forces. And I believe that we're already
11:43
in that and the COMEX and the LBMA can be a part of that.
11:46
And I believe they are right now we're going to look at some data
11:49
about short positions on the COMEX and a number of other
11:53
things. But again, we're going back out
11:55
to the silver. Academy says gold 5X, silver to
11:59
10X. OK, U.S. debt explodes, but he
12:02
talks about derivatives, OK? And derivatives are what are
12:05
traded on the COMEX and the LBMA.
12:07
In case you didn't know, a derivative is a bet or a
12:09
contract that gets its worth from the price of another asset,
12:13
such as a commodity, stock or currency.
12:15
If the price of silver goes up, the value of a silver
12:19
derivative, like a futures contract traded on the COMEX,
12:22
usually goes up to and vice versa.
12:25
How the COMEX silver market works?
12:27
The COMEX is the major U.S. market for trading silver
12:31
futures, which are derivatives. Trading on COMEX mostly happens
12:35
with paper contracts and not physical silver.
12:38
Remember what we saw on the US debt clock?
12:41
Like right, there's like 360 derivative paper claims for each
12:45
one real ounce of silver. This means traders are buying
12:48
and selling promises for silver delivery in the future, not the
12:52
actual metal itself. Why many holders don't actually
12:56
get silver. Most silver contracts on the
12:58
COMEX never result in anyone getting real silver.
13:02
About 99% are settled with cash instead.
13:06
Give me one second here. Make sure we're on the right
13:09
screen. At times there can be hundreds
13:11
of people holding paper contracts, all believing they
13:15
have a claim on the same pile of silver.
13:18
If they all wanted their physical metal at once, the
13:21
COMEX would run out since there isn't enough silver available
13:25
for everyone's paper claims. Yeah, to the tune of about 360
13:29
to 1 as I understand it. Big banks and their silver short
13:33
positions recently. U.S. bank bets against silver.
13:37
They're short positions in the COMEX have collapsed, meaning
13:41
they no longer hold as many bets that silver price will go down.
13:46
This shift may trigger major price changes if investors
13:50
demand physical silver instead of settling for paper promises.
13:55
And at the bottom line, at the end of the day, gold and silver
13:58
are the financial watchdogs. So there you have it guys.
14:02
I thought it would be good for us to do a little review, right?
14:04
The Comex, it's derivatives, it's paper.
14:07
We forget that like 360 to 1. I hear some people say 400 to 1.
14:11
There's a lot of numbers thrown around, but the bottom line is
14:14
that COMEX silver price that all the big tranfi markets rely on
14:19
is really make believe right there aren't.
14:22
The silver doesn't really exist except for one out of 360 of the
14:26
oz that are being traded now if you want to get your hands on
14:29
some real silver that does exist, I'm able to be down here
14:33
because of the support of sponsors like first Mint.
14:36
See where I'm pointing right there?
14:38
First Mint, they are a silver mint in Las Vegas, NV.
14:42
They are part of First Majestic silver.
14:45
So First Majestic Silver mines the silver in Mexico ships it to
14:51
the United States, Las Vegas, NV.
14:53
The first meant where it's transformed into world class
14:56
silver bullion products, products like this beautiful 5
15:00
oz bar. And I'm going to have some new
15:02
bars that I'll be showing you in the coming weeks.
15:05
They have incredibly beautiful silver products.
15:08
So you guys are giving me the best feedback.
15:10
I really appreciate it, but I want to point out to you,
15:14
they've got a sale going on. I'm going to go out to their
15:16
website. I want to show you something
15:18
special going on with First Mint right now and that's their Las
15:24
Vegas round. That's not it.
15:26
Oh, there's their Hail to the Chief round.
15:27
These are all unique to 1st Mint.
15:30
Here it is $1.00 over spot on all First Mint brand silver.
15:35
So you can go here to their website, firstmint.com.
15:38
Check that out. They have free shipping on
15:40
orders over $199. They have a great selection.
15:45
Most importantly, they're wonderful, beautiful products,
15:49
and they're a company you can trust.
15:51
They're owned by First Majestic Silver.
15:53
That's Keith Newmeyer. Everybody knows Keith Newmeyer.
15:55
He's been in the metals business for decades and decades.
15:58
Please support First meant because they support me and
16:01
allow me to be down here providing the Ron's basement
16:04
content to you. All right, Yeah.
16:06
So next week's the big Fed meeting, I think we're going to
16:10
get a half percentage point cut. OK, I could be wrong.
16:13
That's, that's a, I'm going out on a limb and saying that.
16:17
But for sure we can see a quarter point, the great
16:20
reversal and, and when you look by the way, when you look at
16:24
what has happened over the last several major Fed rate cutting
16:28
cycles, the price of silver and gold have exploded during each
16:33
of those. It's hard to think that that
16:34
could be the case again now, especially with gold and how
16:38
well it's done. But if gold performs similarly
16:41
to how it did at the beginning of other rate cut cycles, we
16:46
could see that $5000 gold, right, $50.77 dollar silver,
16:51
much, much quicker. But then we imagine the miners
16:54
are undervalued. And this when people come back
16:57
to the gold and silver mining stocks, that will be good for
17:00
the whole gold and silver ecosystem.
17:03
It'll bring more money into the entire precious metals
17:07
ecosystem. And I'm telling you, the miners
17:09
are so undervalued. Let's go out and take a look at
17:13
a couple pieces of data that I have for you.
17:17
Here we go. Make sure we got you on the
17:21
right screen and we do. OK.
17:25
This came from metals and miners.
17:27
Just one chart. I want you to look at the great
17:28
reversal, why gold miners are about to reclaim their crown and
17:35
take a look at this chart. This chart does not lie, OK?
17:39
The white line is the gold bugs index that represents the price
17:43
of the gold miners. The yellow line is the price of
17:46
gold, as you can see relative to each other all the way from 2000
17:50
to 2011, which is a very similar period to what we're moving in
17:55
now. Moving into now, the gold miners
17:58
were significantly high, more higher valued than the price of
18:02
gold. But look at what happened around
18:04
2013 where you see the white line.
18:07
Again, that's the gold miners. Look at that gap between the
18:10
price of gold and the gold miners.
18:13
That's when we were buying a lot of our gold miners.
18:15
But the incredible thing to look at is where this gap has gone.
18:19
Now I'm going to draw a red line there and a red line there, and
18:23
I'm going to color that in. Look at that gap that we have
18:27
now between those two levels. That is like, I mean, this was a
18:31
gap, no doubt about it. And don't forget, there's a big
18:33
period of time where this white lines above the yellow line,
18:37
like over here back in what, 2008 time frame.
18:41
But look at that massive disparity between the price of
18:44
gold miners and the price of gold.
18:47
That will be fixed, right? That will come back into
18:50
equilibrium. So that would either mean that
18:52
the gold price would need to crash, which we don't think is
18:56
going to happen, or the price of the gold miners absolutely
19:00
explodes and catches up, which I happen to think is what we have
19:05
to look forward to. Next piece of data.
19:07
And it just keeps coming and coming.
19:10
Here we go, the GDX. Sure, we got you on there.
19:14
There we do. The GDX that was just the Gold
19:17
Miners Index finally best its record high set in 2011.
19:22
And there it is on the chart there you can see right over
19:26
here, we finally surpassed the previous high, which is back in
19:31
2011. However, it's got some
19:34
interesting information. The GDXETF finally bested its
19:37
record close, which was seen an astonishing 14 years ago.
19:41
Gold stocks forging back into record territory with fuel, much
19:45
bullish financial media coverage and trader interest leading to
19:48
more buying. And this record breakout will
19:52
will remain or remains earlier in gold stocks revaluation.
19:56
So we're still early in the process as minors fundamentals
20:00
are radically better today than they were 14 years ago.
20:03
And that is the truth, right? Not only did the GDX finally
20:07
catch up to where it was in 2011, OK?
20:11
But on top of that, the fundamentals, the balance
20:14
sheets, everything about the minors is way better today than
20:18
it was back in 2011. Seemingly in in eternity and
20:22
eternity ago. In early September 2011, the GDX
20:27
surged to an all time high of $66.63.
20:31
Camping, I wanted to point this out, a 307% rise.
20:36
So we may think, oh the GDX has done great.
20:38
You know, it's over guys. The GDX right now is only up
20:42
100%. I know that sounds strange to
20:44
say only up 100%, but in previous full runs we've seen
20:50
like that one, the GDX went up by 300%.
20:53
And we know some of the mining stocks and those are the big,
20:56
the GDX is the big mining stocks.
20:58
A lot of the junior mining stocks can do even even better.
21:02
What a great entry for me to say thank you to a great junior
21:06
development stage mining stock company, First Mining Gold who
21:10
sponsors Rons Basement. I held the stock long before
21:14
they sponsored my channel. Their development stage company
21:17
with two multi million ounce projects in Canada, Spring pole
21:21
in Ontario, in du Parquet in Quebec, gold in the ground in
21:26
Canada, big, big, big projects. Two of them in the big, big
21:30
mining companies are going to be out looking for big projects to
21:34
fill their pipeline because like I said earlier, the big miners,
21:39
their balance sheets are in much better shape right now.
21:42
That's because over the last decade and a half, they were
21:45
spending their money on things like paying down their debt.
21:49
They weren't necessarily spending a lot of money on
21:52
exploration and development. So as they need to replace those
21:56
ounces of gold that they're they're pulling out of the
21:58
ground, they could, they could likely look to companies like
22:02
First Mining Gold who has 2 multi million ounce projects in
22:06
Canada to fill that need that they have within their future
22:11
production pipeline. You can learn more about First
22:13
Mining Gold at firstmininggold.com.
22:15
And thank you to them for sponsoring the Basement.
22:18
One final thing we want to look at again, interesting data that
22:22
I didn't realize this was the case.
22:24
Peter Spina pointed this one out.
22:26
Guys, we are in a gold bull market because he says it right
22:30
here. Gold has hit record highs more
22:33
than 30 times this year, 30 times the gold price has gone
22:39
down and then back up to all time record highs.
22:43
Man, we are in for a wild, fun ride when it comes to silver and
22:47
gold. I mean, we've waited a long
22:48
time, some of us decades, some of us for for years and years.
22:53
Maybe you're new to the gold and silver sector, but I'm telling
22:57
you, there's a lot for us to look forward to.
22:59
Before I forget, I do also want to say thank you to Dirty Man
23:03
Safe for supporting Ron's basement.
23:06
Ron 10 is your discount code. These are safes that you bury in
23:10
your backyard. You get to be like a pirate.
23:12
Really cool products. This is The Dirty Girl Safe.
23:15
And if you open it up, I'll show you what's inside.
23:19
There we go, right? You can store stuff in there.
23:21
I'm not going to ask what you're going to store in yours.
23:24
Maybe some people want to put some precious metals in it.
23:27
I don't know. But like I say all the time, you
23:29
know, where did the pirates hide their treasure and where has it
23:32
stayed safe for 1000 years, 500 years in the ground?
23:37
Where did Mother Nature put the all the treasure, silver and
23:40
gold in the ground? So it's OK if you have a safety
23:43
deposit box. It's OK if you have a safe at
23:45
your house. But you can also diversify a
23:48
little bit and and store some in the ground safe from all forms
23:52
of natural disaster, fire, flood, whatever, you know, maybe
23:56
not a backhoe, but everything else.
23:58
All right, guys, thanks for being here.
23:59
It's going to be interesting to see what happens this week.
24:03
Big week with the Fed, big week with us breaking out,
24:07
potentially with Silver. We'll be here together.
24:10
We'll make it through it all together.
24:12
Hey, don't forget, please subscribe to the channel.
24:14
I'd love to have you back in the basement.
24:16
Take care of yourself, OK? And I will see you.
