Two Airmen from Luke Air Force Base, Captain Max Sarver and Senior Airman Wyatt Lupien, turned a deadly golf course emergency into a miracle—saving a veteran’s life with swift, trained action. Spotting an unconscious golfer, they sprang into motion: Lupien took over chest compressions while Sarver managed airway and overall condition. When staff arrived with an AED, they delivered a critical shock before continuing CPR until paramedics took over.
