  SPEAKER_01: And um, today is a very, very exciting day because we're going to do things a little bit different than we normally do.

  SPEAKER_01: Normally we would dive in and and um get the Bible and we'd open it up and just just take off into God's Word.

  SPEAKER_01: But today we want to we want to go a little bit different avenue than we have ever gone before.

  SPEAKER_01: So we're actually treading in new waters, so to speak.

  SPEAKER_01: And Bethany and I are super, super, super excited that we wanted to come on here and explain to you and tell you and invite you, most of all, invite you to come to our first ever truth be told workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: And this workshop is gonna be amazing.

  SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be very packed, detailed, full of scripture.

  SPEAKER_01: The most important part of it is the truth, the word of God.

  SPEAKER_01: The the second most important part of it is gonna be you and I connecting and unity, being together as one, and um just being able to discuss God's word and um its relevance in our life, what we're doing with it.

  SPEAKER_01: And so I'm gonna bring on Bethany, let her tell a little bit how excited she is, because I know she's excited as well.

  SPEAKER_02: Um I am so looking forward to this workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: So let me let me jump in and just tell everybody kind of what this workshop is and um how how it's going to kind of work out.

  SPEAKER_01: It's going to be a three-week series, kind of like how we do our recordings.

  SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we do solo episodes, sometimes we do um episodes that last a whole series.

  SPEAKER_01: Well, Bethany and I have been putting putting our heads together and um praying and working with um the word with the scripture, and we came up with an idea to do a workshop where you guys can come on to Truth Be Told and be actually part of the discussion.

  SPEAKER_01: And what's going to happen is with each workshop, you'll receive a worksheet that we will work through during the the actual recording of the episode, and then you'll be given a study guide worksheet to work on throughout the week to keep you um focused and your mind centered on Christ and what God wants and is doing in your life and through your life and through this workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: As well as as we work through the the three weeks, we want to really emphasize that we are we are really desiring, Bethany and I are really desiring to mold and shape and um help those that are that just feel like they just need more.

  SPEAKER_01: Do you ever feel like you just need more of Jesus?

  SPEAKER_01: Because I know I do.

  SPEAKER_01: And there's times that I think, man, you know, I don't, you know, I don't know what to do.

  SPEAKER_01: And this is gonna be one way you can do that.

  SPEAKER_01: Not only are we gonna be like arm in arm with one another as Christians, we are gonna be able to talk about the word, how it's relevant to our life.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, we're gonna be able to connect the dots with the scripture.

  SPEAKER_01: Each episode, we are going to actually have scripture.

  SPEAKER_01: We're gonna break down the scripture, we're gonna discuss it as a group, as a whole, as a family, so to speak.

  SPEAKER_01: We're gonna discuss it, the word of God.

  SPEAKER_01: Then we're going to connect the dots with the scriptures that were given for each episode.

  SPEAKER_01: So that way, if you have trouble understanding from scripture to scripture, from chapter to chapter, from verse to verse, from book to book, sometimes I get confused.

  SPEAKER_01: Bethany, I don't know about you, but I get sometimes a little mixed up.

  SPEAKER_01: But this workshop is gonna help connect some of those scriptures to where we can follow right along.

  SPEAKER_01: So, and we know with Holy Spirit, when Holy Spirit shows up, it's just gonna flow like a river because that's what God does.

  SPEAKER_01: God just shows up and he flows.

  SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna connect the scripture, and then we're going to, after we start connecting the scripture, we're going we're going to start um having a discussion about um um how it pertains to our lives and not only from a knowledge perspective, but from a heart perspective.

  SPEAKER_01: And that's where we want to dive in.

  SPEAKER_01: We want to take the word of God deeper.

  SPEAKER_01: And that's why this is truth be told, diving deeper into the truth.

  SPEAKER_01: And the reason we're doing this is because the world is really, it's really at a breaking point.

  SPEAKER_01: If you're not paying attention, it's breaking.

  SPEAKER_01: It is really breaking.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_01: People are walking around in fear, people are are angry, they're mad, they're frustrated, they're sad, they're hurting.

  SPEAKER_01: And we cannot get a grip of reality sometimes because you know why?

  SPEAKER_01: Because we're not walking side by side with Jesus.

  SPEAKER_01: If we have Jesus and we're Christians, we're not to be afraid.

  SPEAKER_01: We're not to be afraid of what is going on in this world.

  SPEAKER_01: It's crazy chaos around us all the time.

  SPEAKER_01: You turn on the TV, it's nothing but chaos.
• 6:23
  SPEAKER_01: And it's devastation and it's heartbreak and it's and it's death, death, death, death.

  SPEAKER_01: Every single day.
• 6:30
  SPEAKER_01: That's all we see.

  SPEAKER_01: God wants to take us deeper.

  SPEAKER_01: He wants us to be connected with him.

  SPEAKER_01: It's vital that we know who he is.

  SPEAKER_01: The truth and the word says to know God.

  SPEAKER_01: Do you know God?

  SPEAKER_01: God is the ultimate answer for everything, and we need to make sure that we have that deeper connection with him.

  SPEAKER_01: And this workshop is gonna do that.

  SPEAKER_01: So I'm super excited because we're not only gonna take the knowledge and put it in our brains and our head, um, you know, and to the knowledge of God, because the scripture says in 2 Corinthians that all of our thoughts are be are to be taken to the knowledge of God.

  SPEAKER_01: So if you're not familiar with that, I'll just share that with you a little bit today.

  SPEAKER_01: We were gonna bring in scripture today, but I couldn't help it because you know that's how the Holy Spirit runs.

  SPEAKER_01: But as we dive in deeper and we start gaining the knowledge, we we're really hoping that people can open up their hearts and have a passion for those that are lost and going to hell.

  SPEAKER_01: A passion for wanting to be closer to God.

  SPEAKER_01: And I really, really feel lately God has been really calling Bethany and myself both to just go deeper.

  SPEAKER_01: We we have just been sitting on the surface, and we've been sharing God, you know, God's truth and the word for a while now.

  SPEAKER_01: And God says He wants more from us.
• 7:54
  SPEAKER_01: He wants more.
• 7:55
  SPEAKER_01: And what more means is we're gonna start this workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be on the 5th of June.

  SPEAKER_01: I mean, June.

  SPEAKER_01: Well, that's always way the 5th of November, sorry about that.

  SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be three workshops.

  SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be the 5th of November, the 12th of November, and the 19th of November.

  SPEAKER_01: And what's awesome about it is each workshop um comes with a worksheet and a study guide to go with it.

  SPEAKER_01: And you will get to participate in the episode in the actual recording and um ask questions, get involved, um, share your insights, talk about what God's doing in your life, and um also an opportunity to have fellowship in prayer, because at the end of each episode, we are going to pray as um as a group, and then we're gonna work on our weekly challenge and get us prepared for the following week at the end.

  SPEAKER_01: So it's it's a whole format, but it's really easy, it's nothing hard, it's super exciting.

  SPEAKER_01: And I know, I know in my heart, Bethany, I know you can agree with me on this, but I know in my heart that God He's been trying to move, and sometimes we're just not the ones doing it.

  SPEAKER_01: And God's been telling Bethany and I for a while now, um, especially me.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, I've been the procrastinator, I believe, more than anything, is he wants us to not talk about it.

  SPEAKER_01: He wants us to be not just hearers but doers of the word.

  SPEAKER_01: And we can't teach you how to know God if we don't do these workshops and we bring the scripture and we have discussions about them, and we start connecting the scriptures together to where that they are effective in your life.

  SPEAKER_01: Every word in the Bible is a living word, it's alive, it's active, and God wants us to be so close to Him, He wants us to dive deeper, and this is the way to do it.

  SPEAKER_01: And so I'm excited.

  SPEAKER_01: I know Bethany is excited, and we are going to be um um starting in November.

  SPEAKER_01: But what I want you to do with this episode, the reason why we are recording this episode, not only to just tell you how excited we are, because if you can't tell, I'm pretty excited.

  SPEAKER_01: And Bethany and I talked about it, and we didn't want to do that.

  SPEAKER_01: We wanted to make it really, really, really reasonable.

  SPEAKER_01: And being that it's a three-week um workshop, we wanted it to only be five dollars per episode, which means it would be$15 for the three for the three together, because it's a three-part workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: See, when God calls us, we have to have faith, and I'm just gonna have faith that God's gonna guide us to step out, um, to step out.

  SPEAKER_01: We're gonna step out live on Facebook and we're gonna have discussion about this and what we're gonna be doing.

  SPEAKER_01: And hopefully, you guys will have already seen this episode and will be able to join us on that, as well as let other people know about it.

  SPEAKER_01: One thing the word of God says that we are responsible is sharing the gospel.

  SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you know this, but it is actually part of your responsibility.

  SPEAKER_01: It's my responsibility, it's everyone's responsibility if you're a Christian.

  SPEAKER_01: We are to be sharing the gospel.

  SPEAKER_01: And my question for you is how are you doing that?

  SPEAKER_01: This is a great way to do it.

  SPEAKER_01: This is a wonderful way to do it.

  SPEAKER_01: Not only will people get connected, we're gonna make new connections with one another.

  SPEAKER_01: People that we can pray for, people that need our prayers, people that um want to go deeper and they want to get closer to God, as well as making new friendships and being in communion with the Holy Spirit is what we're supposed to be doing.

  SPEAKER_01: And I really feel God calling us out and calling Bethany and I to go deeper.

  SPEAKER_01: And I'm excited.

  SPEAKER_01: I I'm I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous, but that you know, who would it be right?

  SPEAKER_01: Because you know, we've been sit we've been sitting on this for a minute.

  SPEAKER_01: And so, Bethany, what are your thoughts?

  SPEAKER_01: What what would you like to add to um all of this excitement that we're sharing today?

  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's wonderful.

  SPEAKER_02: It truly is something that even I have personally been praying about and seeking the Lord on, you know.

  SPEAKER_02: He has given me a message, and it's interesting to me how he has brought Big and I together.

  SPEAKER_02: And I do believe that it's to get his message out and to help those, help you all to understand just how important it is to go deeper, not just be on a maybe a service level, but to actually go deeper.

  SPEAKER_02: No, not so deep that you get lost in certain times, but truly being able to grasp what the word of God says, what God meant by it.

  SPEAKER_02: Um and so I may not be able to express it as much as inwardly.

  SPEAKER_02: I'm just super excited for this.

  SPEAKER_02: But believe me, I'm pumped, I'm ready to go as the Holy Spirit leads, big and I and like I say, you you will not want to miss it.

  SPEAKER_02: It will be something I believe that the Lord will use greatly in your life.

  SPEAKER_01: It is a two-hour workshop, and we are gonna keep it to two hours.

  SPEAKER_01: So, you know, we're gonna, you know, go through it, but we're also going to um take heed to Holy Spirit.

  SPEAKER_01: We want to make sure that we allow Holy Spirit to to move as well as um, you know, I feel like Bethany, I don't know about you, but I feel like there's so many people right now that just um they feel trapped and they just need freedom.

  SPEAKER_01: They just need to be freed.

  SPEAKER_01: And I don't know what it is about this workshop about diving deeper.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, lately, some of the scriptures that we've been going through and talking, um, even the shortest of scriptures have just been so, so powerful.

  SPEAKER_01: And there was no confusion, there is no chaos to it.

  SPEAKER_01: The the truth is is so evident, and I feel like the passion that I have and that you have, I want everyone to feel that.

  SPEAKER_01: You know, I want everyone to know what it feels like to have the Holy Spirit.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, and if people those of you that know me know that this is this is not how I'm not usually this outspoken.

  SPEAKER_01: I mean, I love to come on and talk and stuff, but I'm literally really excited about this workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: And um, Bethany and I have already put a lot into it, and we will continue to put into it, but not just um because we put work into it.

  SPEAKER_01: Work work is nothing, you know.

  SPEAKER_01: Um, if we're doing it for the work, then we're doing it for the wrong reason.

  SPEAKER_01: If we're just we're doing it for self-gratification, we're doing it for the wrong reason.

  SPEAKER_01: I truly am very passionate about this, and my heart's desire is that we, Bethany and I, can help you to have a deeper connection with who God is.

  SPEAKER_01: We want to get you closer to the Father because the time is shrinking.

  SPEAKER_01: We don't have time to waste.

  SPEAKER_01: It's it's now, it's here and now.

  SPEAKER_01: We need to do this now.

  SPEAKER_01: And like I said, we've kind of waited and waited and waited, and God said, No more waiting.

  SPEAKER_01: The waiting period is over.

  SPEAKER_01: You are out of time, you need to do this now.

  SPEAKER_01: And I really feel like it's really important.

  SPEAKER_01: And I feel people are really longing and looking for this and needing it, and there's gonna be so much breakthrough.

  SPEAKER_01: I can feel it already.

  SPEAKER_01: I I I feel like God is leading in a way that I can actually say this ahead of time, which I don't normally do that.

  SPEAKER_01: You know me, I don't like put the cart before the horse trying to not do that to myself because but I feel like there is going to be some breakthrough with this workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: I feel like God is going to drastically show up and move in ways that we have never seen before in a workshop.

  SPEAKER_01: And I really believe that God, as long as you know, Bethany and I stay obedient to his word, which we we're doing, um, and um reaching out and trying to connect with those that need to be connected with, I believe God is going to bless this with many promises that he has given us in the in the Bible.

  SPEAKER_01: And I know you've guys have heard me talk, and if you've listened to episodes before, where I have mentioned several times that the Bible is full of hundreds and thousands of promises.

  SPEAKER_01: I don't even know how many promises.

  SPEAKER_01: Do you know that number, Bethany?

  SPEAKER_01: How many promises are actually in the Bible?

  SPEAKER_01: Now I just gave myself some homework.

  SPEAKER_01: I will look that up, but not not for not right now, but I will look that up because I actually am curious.

  SPEAKER_01: There's tons of promises.

  SPEAKER_01: God obviously isn't gonna just give us all of those promises because he knows we can't handle them.

  SPEAKER_01: We're not mature enough, we're not spiritually mature enough, not just mentally or physically or or whatever, but spiritually, we're not much, excuse me, mature enough to handle the promises that God has for our lives.

  SPEAKER_01: So it's important to me, and and I already feel it.

  SPEAKER_01: God has already like literally laid on my heart that with this workshop, he's going to be blessing us in ways that we've never been blessed before.

  SPEAKER_01: And we're going to see his promises.

  SPEAKER_01: We're going to see some things unfold.

  SPEAKER_01: We are going to unravel.
• 19:44
  SPEAKER_01: And it's going to be a good thing, not something that, not of punishment or fear or anxiety.

  SPEAKER_01: And it's going to be something that actually breaks anxiety.

  SPEAKER_01: It's going to break the fears.

  SPEAKER_01: It's going to break the strongholds.

  SPEAKER_01: It's going to break the things that are keeping us from what it's been keeping Bethany and I for the last year now.

  SPEAKER_01: We've been talking about doing stuff like this for a year and we have not done it.

  SPEAKER_01: And like I said, God said, What are you waiting on?

  SPEAKER_01: What are you waiting on?

  SPEAKER_01: You don't have to have all the answers.

  SPEAKER_01: The answers are right in front of you.

  SPEAKER_01: We have the word of God.

  SPEAKER_01: And um, so we're gonna take off, we're gonna take off running with it, but we want you to come along.

  SPEAKER_01: So we we really are asking, not just encouraging, but we are asking that you like and share this video and that you come along with us.

  SPEAKER_01: We we are gonna just um I I have a sense that um there's gonna be weeping and joy and and and and and all and and all harmony, you know, because I heard something this morning that I want to share real quick as we go into to closing this episode is that as I was driving home today, is that um we are to be worshiping the Lord in everything that we do.

  SPEAKER_01: We are to worship the Lord in everything.

  SPEAKER_01: And we don't always get to decide what that looks like, but how we respond to it and what we do with it is is where the outcome is.

  SPEAKER_01: What it has done, it has intensified to a part where it started making me have more compassion for the people that I know are hurting and broken.

  SPEAKER_02: And the Lord has truly given me a mental visual of Christians truly living like Christians here now.

  SPEAKER_02: Yes, eternity will be different than here, but I do strongly believe that the Lord wants us who are truly Christians to live like it now, to experience the things he has for us now, not just waiting, and so that we can be an influence to those who are not yet Christians, because I do strongly also believe that God wants to spend eternity with everyone, but in order to do that, they need to be Christians, and so those of us who are Christians know what are we doing, and so this workshop and these workshops going forward that we're doing as well as our continued episode on truth before.

  SPEAKER_02: They are centered around helping Christians, helping those of you who are genuine Christians who know the Lord to be encouraged, be strengthened, be empowered because God truly does desire everyone to spend eternity with him.

  SPEAKER_01: And um I I feel like I the word says it very clearly, and I'm not saying this to be a fearmonger, but the word says a lot of people know him, but they will not be with him.

  SPEAKER_01: Um so we need to make sure that we know who God is to such a deeper level that we have a personal, intimate relationship with him.
