- 0:09Speaker 1: Ye, welcome to the Naughty but Night. Sha'm your host,
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rob Shoes. We have a special surprise today. So yesterday
- 0:19Speaker 1: I thought I would be doing solo shows all week.
- 0:22Speaker 1: All the co hosts were off with their families getting
- 0:24Speaker 1: ready for the holidays. But mister what a Trooper texted
- 0:28Speaker 1: me last night saying are we doing a show? And
- 0:29Speaker 1: I was like, oh, my goodness, if you want to,
- 0:31Speaker 1: You're always welcome. The shows are always better when you
- 0:34Speaker 1: are part of them. So mister, are you there?
- 0:37Speaker 2: I am, And of course I would be here. It's
- 0:39Speaker 2: Christmas Eve, so Merry Christmas to everyone, and of course
- 0:43Speaker 2: happy Hanakah and happy Kwanza. I wouldn't miss the Naughties
- 0:48Speaker 2: on such a special week.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I love that you're you're at home, mister, You're in Georgia.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Where are you?
- 0:54Speaker 2: I am in Georgia, So I'm here and my nephews
- 0:57Speaker 2: have been in and out all weekend. So I'm a
- 1:00Speaker 2: little exhausted, but we're looking forward tomorrow. I'm actually hosting
- 1:05Speaker 2: Christmas Brunch. Oh, mister shooter, if you want to get
- 1:07Speaker 2: on a plane and come down on plate.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It's tempting, it's tempting. It's amazing having family and children around.
- 1:14Speaker 1: It's so much fun, but it is a lot of work.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Like Miss d you were used to chasing celebrities around
- 1:21Speaker 1: New York, but that is easy compared to little boys
- 1:24Speaker 1: in Georgia.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Oh absolutely, you know. All I want to do is puzzles,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and it gets so much to get on to the table.
- 1:32Speaker 2: But what I figured out a little secret is to
- 1:35Speaker 2: time them. How quickly can they put together the puzzle?
- 1:39Speaker 2: And it's so much fun to watch them work together.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Here you know a trick or too, Mistee, let's jump in.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We've got a few tricks to show you today on Asher.
- 1:47Speaker 1: What time is it? My friends? It is tea time,
- 1:50Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show. So this
- 1:52Speaker 1: Blake Lively Justin Baldoni story keeps getting bigger and bigger.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We talked about it yesterday. Well now Amber Heard has
- 2:00Speaker 1: jumped into the conversation. That's right. Amber Heard from the
- 2:04Speaker 1: Johnny Depth infamous twenty twenty two defamation case, which she lost.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So Amber is weighing in on the escalating drama surround
- 2:14Speaker 1: in Blake's sexual harassment allegations against her. It ends with
- 2:20Speaker 1: US co star and director Justin call in the situation
- 2:24Speaker 1: quote horrifying and drawing parallels to her own experiences during
- 2:31Speaker 1: her own legal battle with her ex husband, Johnny Depth. Now,
- 2:36Speaker 1: at first, Misty, these two might seem totally unrelated. However,
- 2:41Speaker 1: Justin hired the same p R crisis manager, Melissa Nathan,
- 2:47Speaker 1: who also worked with Johnny during his defamation trial against
- 2:53Speaker 1: Amber that led to her life arguably being destroyed. And
- 2:58Speaker 1: now that is what Blake is claiming is happening to
- 3:02Speaker 1: her too. What do you think, Yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I actually read the suit and it is pretty like
- 3:10Speaker 2: you said, disturbing. Some of the things that she said
- 3:12Speaker 2: happened on the set. Now, of course, in cases like this,
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's always about perception, and obviously as the case goes on,
- 3:19Speaker 2: we'll find out what people believe are is true and
- 3:22Speaker 2: what people believe is not true. But what's interesting to
- 3:26Speaker 2: me is that Blake Lively has said that her life
- 3:28Speaker 2: has been destroyed, the same thing that Amber Hood said,
- 3:32Speaker 2: And she says, you know, once a lie goes around
- 3:35Speaker 2: the world, you know, the truth is just getting its
- 3:38Speaker 2: boots on. So for Blake Lively, I feel some of
- 3:41Speaker 2: the things that have been said to about her in
- 3:43Speaker 2: the past year, she feels the damage has already been done,
- 3:46Speaker 2: and this is her trying to say no, this is
- 3:49Speaker 2: the reason why maybe I wasn't as communicative in interviews.
- 3:54Speaker 2: This is the reason why people are now pulling up
- 3:57Speaker 2: information from the past to talk about me, maybe things
- 4:00Speaker 2: where I took a misstep. So that's why the cases
- 4:03Speaker 2: are aligned, because both of these women feel that all
- 4:07Speaker 2: the things that were said about them were damaging, whether
- 4:10Speaker 2: they were true or not.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's difficult, isn't it. This one makes me makes
- 4:15Speaker 1: my heart explode and am but now speaking out about
- 4:19Speaker 1: it has added another layer. They are connected though, because
- 4:23Speaker 1: Justin's PR was Johnny's PR, and my goodness, did they
- 4:28Speaker 1: do a good job in Johnny's defamation case, And now
- 4:32Speaker 1: maybe Justin's the same people are going to push back
- 4:36Speaker 1: against Blake. We know they are because Justin's attorney has
- 4:39Speaker 1: issued a statement saying tag PR that's the name of
- 4:42Speaker 1: the PR company, must be the most powerful group of
- 4:44Speaker 1: publicists in the world that we've ever seen before. And
- 4:48Speaker 1: he's making fun of this and sort of, I don't
- 4:50Speaker 1: think it's the best statement to make here. What I
- 4:53Speaker 1: think is so interesting about this two mister, is it's
- 4:55Speaker 1: not just given us an insight into these awful accusations.
- 4:59Speaker 1: But also in the world of Hollywood, pretty much every
- 5:02Speaker 1: celebrity has a publicist. Would like to think they have
- 5:06Speaker 1: publicists to promote good stories about themselves, but we know
- 5:09Speaker 1: the business, mysty. Often they plant bad stories about somebody else.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And so these celebrities all have their nemesis, ll have
- 5:17Speaker 1: somebody they are jealous of or want to get that
- 5:20Speaker 1: one step up further on the ladder, and if that
- 5:22Speaker 1: means pushing you down, it's not that unusual. When I
- 5:25Speaker 1: was a publicist, Misty, I did crisis pr and it's
- 5:28Speaker 1: a messy business. It's a really ugly business. And it's
- 5:32Speaker 1: not just celebrities that do this. I think the best
- 5:34Speaker 1: example is politicians. They go out of their way to
- 5:38Speaker 1: destroy their opponents, not their ideas, but their opponents. Think
- 5:43Speaker 1: of some recent presidential campaigns and how nasty and how
- 5:48Speaker 1: ugly they got, and they're not even hiding it. Celebrities
- 5:52Speaker 1: are doing that too, but it's much more behind the scenes.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Until now, Misty, Now we're really getting an insight into
- 5:59Speaker 1: just had time, how mean, how nasty Hollywood really can be.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And when you think about it, I mean, these happen
- 6:07Speaker 2: in all workspaces where people gossip about other people or
- 6:11Speaker 2: say things maybe to a colleague to kind of poison
- 6:16Speaker 2: the mind against another colleague. The difference is is it
- 6:20Speaker 2: normally does not play out for the world to make
- 6:23Speaker 2: a decision. And when you think about this, this is
- 6:25Speaker 2: how these people make their livelihood. It depends on you
- 6:28Speaker 2: and me deciding to go into our pocket and pull
- 6:31Speaker 2: out the seventeen or twenty dollars to go see a movie.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And if we don't, production companies, producers, directors aren't going
- 6:39Speaker 2: to hire these people. So this is their livelihood and
- 6:42Speaker 2: that is why it's important to say no, this is
- 6:45Speaker 2: what happened. This is the truth. I need to deal
- 6:48Speaker 2: with this negativity that's going out there, and so this
- 6:51Speaker 2: will be a really interesting test case to see what happens.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I mean. Unfortunately, it's a he said, she said situation
- 6:59Speaker 2: unless you know, in certain cases you have to get video.
- 7:03Speaker 2: We can always talk to the intimacy coordinator and say yes,
- 7:06Speaker 2: I was hired to come onto the set after the
- 7:08Speaker 2: movie started. What makes us think that why was an
- 7:11Speaker 2: intimacy coordinator needed to be brought to set. So it's
- 7:14Speaker 2: things like that which are based in fact that you
- 7:17Speaker 2: can use to get towards the truth. But yeah, it's
- 7:20Speaker 2: going to be interesting.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think we're going to get any winners here.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I think they're going to destroy each other. His career
- 7:26Speaker 1: is pretty much already over, his agents have dropped him.
- 7:29Speaker 1: She's more powerful, and I'm certainly more sympathetic towards Blake
- 7:32Speaker 1: on this, regardless of her power. But this is going
- 7:35Speaker 1: to get really, really messy. My sources tell me the
- 7:38Speaker 1: reason she went forward with the lawsuit is she feels
- 7:40Speaker 1: like she's got nothing to lose. Her career is destroyed,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and so she's been getting some really bad press. People
- 7:45Speaker 1: have been saying she was a nightmare on the set.
- 7:48Speaker 1: People are blaming her. She's now fighting back. But I
- 7:52Speaker 1: got to Misda and we've done this a long time.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm ashamed to say that I have killed stories because
- 7:59Speaker 1: of powerful publicity. It's not celebrities, but if you are
- 8:02Speaker 1: represented by a really powerful publicist, a story might disappear.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And so every celebrity, pretty much every celebrity has a
- 8:11Speaker 1: power publicist. And these publicists are nasty, they play dirty.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They all have TMZ and paid six and me on
- 8:20Speaker 1: speed dial. They're ready to leak a story. In fact,
- 8:23Speaker 1: My best sources are publicists and not really positive stories.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Misty publicists see everything. If I go to a premiere
- 8:32Speaker 1: with my client, I might see another celebrity be naughty.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I might have information about another star. It's the publicist
- 8:41Speaker 1: that really oil this machine, and we're getting to see that.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And let's be honest here. Blake has a publicist too,
- 8:49Speaker 1: so it's not just Justin. There's been many nasty story
- 8:52Speaker 1: about about Justin, and I would guess that Blake's publicist
- 8:57Speaker 1: who we know, and she's been doing this a long time.
- 9:00Speaker 1: We know, mister. I don't think anyone is totally innocent here,
- 9:04Speaker 1: which brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Amber heard is speaking out about Blake Live Liz lawsuit
- 9:11Speaker 1: against Justin bell DONI are Amber's comments helpful or not
- 9:17Speaker 1: helpful or hurtful? Do you think this helps people? Don't
- 9:21Speaker 1: really like Amber Herd. She lost that defamation case Johnny's
- 9:25Speaker 1: PR machine. His team really really really went after her,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and I think they left marks. So is Amber helping here?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yes or no? Go vote on our towitter page at
- 9:35Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rabat Facebook page is naughty Gaze bambishuer to
- 9:38Speaker 1: check back to mar rawat to hear your results. Hey,
- 9:41Speaker 1: mister you, what are you working on?
- 9:43Speaker 2: Well, it's all about Mariah Carey, because she turned heads
- 9:46Speaker 2: over the weekend after being spotted holding hands with the
- 9:49Speaker 2: musician Anderson pack and Aspen, Colorado, fueling speculation about a
- 9:54Speaker 2: possible new romance. Now, she is the Queen of Christmas
- 9:58Speaker 2: and he is the skate singer. And they were all
- 10:00Speaker 2: smiles as they strolled into Catch Steak, a celeb favorite restaurant.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Catch is famous all over wherever it is, and so
- 10:08Speaker 2: Mariah was dressed in a festive tan fox for trimmed
- 10:12Speaker 2: Valentino coat and a matching skirt, and she reached back
- 10:15Speaker 2: to grab Anderson's hands and they walked inside. He was
- 10:18Speaker 2: spotted holding the door open for her, keeping one arm
- 10:21Speaker 2: near her waist, which added to the cozy vibe. But
- 10:24Speaker 2: wait a second before we get too excited. Insiders are
- 10:28Speaker 2: telling me that they're working on a song together. Obviously,
- 10:31Speaker 2: Mariah has a studio in Colorado. She loves it up there,
- 10:34Speaker 2: especially during the holiday season. And this is all strictly business. Actually,
- 10:41Speaker 2: Anderson is dating someone else, right, Rob, Yeah, yeah, I.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Think your instincts are right here, Mistick. The thing is
- 10:47Speaker 1: though they could be both. They could be working together,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and they could be starting a relationship. That has happened
- 10:52Speaker 1: many many times. You meet somebody in a professional circumstance
- 10:55Speaker 1: and before you know it, you're having the feelings. What
- 10:58Speaker 1: I find suspicious about this one the touching. I go
- 11:01Speaker 1: out for my friends all the time, but holding hands
- 11:03Speaker 1: and touching and if you are working together, maybe that's
- 11:05Speaker 1: not the best look here. He knows this photographers everywhere.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Mariah does too, So don't feel bad for them. They
- 11:11Speaker 1: are not ashamed of this. They are not hiding this.
- 11:14Speaker 1: But I think in a couple of months maybe we
- 11:17Speaker 1: might see these two finally announced they're together. Member Cher
- 11:20Speaker 1: and her young boyfriend, they originally started working together and
- 11:24Speaker 1: now they're very very much together. I want Mariah to
- 11:27Speaker 1: find some happiness. So all good with me? Okay? Moving along? Kylie,
- 11:32Speaker 1: Jenna and Timothy Shalomay had a magical early Christmas together
- 11:36Speaker 1: with her children. So she has two children, Stormy who's six,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and Ari who is now two years old. Sources are
- 11:42Speaker 1: telling Page six they had a really nice Christmas dinner
- 11:45Speaker 1: at her house and they drove around to look at
- 11:49Speaker 1: Christmas tree lights. Isn't that lovely. They got in the
- 11:52Speaker 1: car and looked at the lights. The kids had a
- 11:54Speaker 1: really magical time, and they had lovely gifts. They're very
- 11:58Speaker 1: much now operating as a family. So initially he was
- 12:02Speaker 1: dating her and then having some fun. But now once
- 12:05Speaker 1: you start involving the children, spending Christmas with the children,
- 12:08Speaker 1: that's a sign, mysty that things are quite serious.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go on a lem and say this
- 12:14Speaker 2: one could be, you know, the one because and my
- 12:18Speaker 2: reasoning is because we haven't really heard that much about
- 12:22Speaker 2: their relationship. And I feel when celebrities are serious and
- 12:26Speaker 2: they want to make this work, step out of the
- 12:28Speaker 2: spotlight so they can actually have just a normal relationship,
- 12:32Speaker 2: get to know each other. I'll spend time with their families,
- 12:35Speaker 2: and they're not, you know, cavorting around and showing it
- 12:38Speaker 2: off to the world. And they've been together for almost
- 12:41Speaker 2: eighteen months, almost two years, so and it's not it's
- 12:45Speaker 2: not front page news every day. It's just something that
- 12:49Speaker 2: they're building. So hey, girl, this is your man. He
- 12:53Speaker 2: cue he got that baby face. Fnel fans will get that.
- 12:57Speaker 1: He's cute. Q Q Okay, quickie, before we get a break,
- 12:59Speaker 1: we have time for one more story. Meghan Markle's biographer,
- 13:02Speaker 1: Omit Scobie. He wrote that book, Remember that big book
- 13:05Speaker 1: that came out, that very positive book about Harry and Meghan.
- 13:08Speaker 1: They claimed that they were not involved in it, but
- 13:09Speaker 1: I think people all know that she's very close with Omid. Well,
- 13:13Speaker 1: he's moved to Sonny La. He signed a TV deal.
- 13:16Speaker 1: This is every author's dream. Misty, He's got a new
- 13:20Speaker 1: show in development called Royal Spin and the book is
- 13:23Speaker 1: going to be or the new TV show is going
- 13:25Speaker 1: to be very much like Emily in Paris. However it's
- 13:27Speaker 1: going to be an American and instead of going to Paris,
- 13:30Speaker 1: they go to London to work for the British Royal family.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And so it's a really cute idea. He's a good writer.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Goodness knows he has access to an amazing source, amazing
- 13:40Speaker 1: amazing information. With Meg and Markle. I wonder how she's
- 13:43Speaker 1: going to feel though about him moving to LA Like
- 13:47Speaker 1: she tries to pretend or she tries to keep him
- 13:50Speaker 1: arm's length. She doesn't really want us to know how
- 13:54Speaker 1: close they are. But now that he's moving to LA,
- 13:57Speaker 1: is he going to want to pop over for cups
- 13:59Speaker 1: of tea and stuff like that maybe, And so I
- 14:02Speaker 1: think this is going to be very, very interesting. It's
- 14:04Speaker 1: easy to be in friends with somebody when they're three
- 14:06Speaker 1: thousand miles away that now he's on her doorstep.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Yeah, this could be really interesting. Again, as you said,
- 14:13Speaker 2: he's writing this story about royal spin and it's about
- 14:16Speaker 2: kind of the intersection of royal life and the media.
- 14:20Speaker 2: And I know that Megan still has this kind of
- 14:24Speaker 2: thought or dream of staying connected to the industry. I
- 14:28Speaker 2: wonder if this is an opportunity for her to step in,
- 14:30Speaker 2: not as a star, but as a producer and give
- 14:33Speaker 2: a little insights. So even though he'll be neighbors to her,
- 14:38Speaker 2: I think he'll be busy at Universal putting together his show,
- 14:41Speaker 2: being on set, so she doesn't have to worry about
- 14:45Speaker 2: him showing up to borrow a cup of sugar. I
- 14:47Speaker 2: mean that's what Oprah does, right, Yes, yes, but it
- 14:51Speaker 2: might be a great opportunity for her to toe dip
- 14:54Speaker 2: back into the industry in the role of being behind
- 14:57Speaker 2: the scenes. And gosh, if she ever did a cameo,
- 15:00Speaker 2: oh chah, we all be.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Watching, watch, we will be watching. I love these types
- 15:07Speaker 1: of books. I like The Devil Wears Prada. I like
- 15:10Speaker 1: Emily in Paris. I like how Sex and the City
- 15:13Speaker 1: takes us behind the scenes at Vogue magazine, almost like
- 15:16Speaker 1: the Devil Wears Prada does, and so insight into these real,
- 15:20Speaker 1: real life stories. And he does know it. He knows
- 15:22Speaker 1: the world of the royals. Admittedly, it's only from one perspective.
- 15:25Speaker 1: It's from hers, not Kate's or Williams. But I say, hey,
- 15:28Speaker 1: if you work for Kater Midleian, k Kata william maybe
- 15:30Speaker 1: you should write a book too. Maybe you should. I
- 15:32Speaker 1: love these tunnels.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Oh and I'm very curious, since he does know Megan,
- 15:37Speaker 2: if his lead characters are one of the lead characters
- 15:40Speaker 2: could be a woman of color, which would be very,
- 15:43Speaker 2: very interesting, different spin to the stories. But we'll have
- 15:47Speaker 2: to wait and see.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Good good for you. Ohman, if you're listening, hello, Hello,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and no, okay, we're going to take a quick break
- 15:51Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:54Speaker 1: Naughty ban Naisham your hostrop Shooter with our dear friend
- 15:57Speaker 1: mister you. Hey me see, let's get to the polls.
- 15:58Speaker 1: That law show we talked about Blake Lively sewing her
- 16:02Speaker 1: co star just In Baldoni for sexual harassment amid their feud,
- 16:07Speaker 1: their big falling out. Our question was quite simple, who
- 16:10Speaker 1: do you believe it's he said? She said, do you
- 16:12Speaker 1: believe Blake or do you believe Justin. I think the
- 16:15Speaker 1: truth is probably somewhere in the middle. But let's have
- 16:16Speaker 1: a look. Seventy five percent are team Blake.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Wow.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's Paul will go to
- 16:22Speaker 1: our toit page at Naughty n Ice rob Our facebook
- 16:25Speaker 1: page is Nuty Gossip and be sure it's a check
- 16:28Speaker 1: back to Maraua to hear your results. And now it's
- 16:33Speaker 1: time for our NICUs. NICUs of the day.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Well, our nicest of the day is a duo. It's
- 16:39Speaker 2: Jennifer Lopez and Beneffleck because they are showing that even
- 16:44Speaker 2: during a divorce, the holidays can bring the sense of togetherness. Now,
- 16:47Speaker 2: they were spotted exchanging Christmas gifts and sharing a casual
- 16:51Speaker 2: lunch at Sohou House in West Hollywood. They spent about
- 16:55Speaker 2: thirty minutes together at the exclusive club and they were
- 16:58Speaker 2: cordial despite everything happening with their divorce, and Jennifer made
- 17:02Speaker 2: it a family affair. She had her mother there and
- 17:05Speaker 2: her twins Emmy and Max there they're sixteen now. Now
- 17:09Speaker 2: Jennifer and Ben are committed to co parenting and keeping
- 17:14Speaker 2: their blended family together. They don't share children biologically, but
- 17:18Speaker 2: their children got close to one another. So that's why
- 17:21Speaker 2: there are nicest of the day.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh, I like it. I like it. And they wanted
- 17:25Speaker 1: us to see this. If you've ever been to the
- 17:26Speaker 1: soho his in New York or LA, it's full of
- 17:29Speaker 1: gossipy people like their sources everywhere, so there's lots of
- 17:32Speaker 1: reporters there, so they could have exchanged gifts at home
- 17:35Speaker 1: or anywhere else pretty much. But they wanted us to
- 17:38Speaker 1: see this. But even so, and nicest of the day
- 17:40Speaker 1: and now a naughtice of the day, naughty, naughty, So
- 17:43Speaker 1: Wendy Williamson, Kevin Hunter, he's a good guy, is saying
- 17:46Speaker 1: that his mom is nice, sober and she wants to
- 17:49Speaker 1: come home. So Kevin's not a naughtoust. Wendy's not a naughtous.
- 17:53Speaker 1: The system is a naughtous. If the Sun wants his
- 17:56Speaker 1: mom and he's gonna look after and help her, it's
- 17:59Speaker 1: better off with him then a conservator who doesn't know Wendy,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and this is what she wants, so Wendy's son, Kevin Junior,
- 18:07Speaker 1: has provided a rare and maybe a hopeful update on
- 18:10Speaker 1: his mother's health as she continues her battle with dementia.
- 18:13Speaker 1: In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kevin, who's twenty four, shared
- 18:17Speaker 1: that the former talk show queen is sober and eager
- 18:21Speaker 1: to leave her current care facility. So that's interesting. We
- 18:25Speaker 1: saw Wendy at his graduation just a few days ago,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and a lot of people were asking where is Wendy.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Is she now with Kevin Junior. No, she's still at
- 18:34Speaker 1: a care facility, a care situation in Florida. But Kevin
- 18:39Speaker 1: does add we're fighting to make this happen because isolation
- 18:43Speaker 1: is killing her faster than anything else. Wendy is isolated
- 18:47Speaker 1: in this facility all alone. Let her be with her family,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and it is the day. Let's end with her. Moment
- 18:54Speaker 1: A rab be going to rob, You gonna rub, rub,
- 18:56Speaker 1: and love. This quote from Queen Letitha. It really made
- 18:58Speaker 1: me sit up and listen. Quote. I had to grow
- 19:02Speaker 1: to love my body. It didn't come naturally to her.
- 19:04Speaker 1: She had to learn how to love her body. I
- 19:07Speaker 1: did not have a good self image at first. Finally
- 19:11Speaker 1: it occurred to me I'm either going to love me
- 19:14Speaker 1: or hate me, and I chose to love myself. It's
- 19:17Speaker 1: that easy. That's what it comes down to. At the
- 19:19Speaker 1: end of the day. You might think you have faults,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you might have parts of your body you don't like,
- 19:24Speaker 1: but you only have two choices. You can love it
- 19:27Speaker 1: or hate it, and so if you pick love, I
- 19:30Speaker 1: think you're going to be much better off. Took me
- 19:33Speaker 1: a while, Misty, to look in the mirror, to see
- 19:36Speaker 1: my big nose, to see my broken arm, and to
- 19:39Speaker 1: learn to love them because I can't change them. Misty,
- 19:42Speaker 1: I can't change I can never fix my arm. My
- 19:45Speaker 1: nose is my nose. And so I'm gonna go through
- 19:48Speaker 1: the rest of my life every time I see a
- 19:50Speaker 1: picture hating myself. No, I'm not doing it anymore. How
- 19:54Speaker 1: are you on this, mysty.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Well, sometimes we do look in the mirror and we
- 19:58Speaker 2: want to criticize ourselves, and I can't say that I
- 20:00Speaker 2: haven't done that. But then I have to take a
- 20:01Speaker 2: moment say you are beautiful inside and out, and you
- 20:05Speaker 2: have to love every inch of you. Well, you have
- 20:07Speaker 2: to love even every inch of you, even if you
- 20:10Speaker 2: want to change something. But it has to start with love,
- 20:14Speaker 2: because if you don't and you go and get something changed,
- 20:16Speaker 2: you're still gonna feel whatever that pain was. So I
- 20:20Speaker 2: know I'm fabulous.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So you, oh girl, Happy holidays. Everybody naughty is you
- 20:25Speaker 1: are fabulous too. That is it for today. Thank you
