- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back in our number two. We are rolling through
- 0:04Speaker 1: the program here as we sit exactly two weeks until
- 0:10Speaker 1: the midterm votes. And I have already voted. I am
- 0:14Speaker 1: bullying Buck to go vote early as well. I want
- 0:17Speaker 1: to bully all of you to go vote early. To
- 0:20Speaker 1: be fair, a lot of you are voting. Record high
- 0:23Speaker 1: turnout in Texas for the opening day of early voting.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Big numbers across many different parts of the country right now.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And lots of uncertainty as to what to expect across
- 0:38Speaker 1: so many different battlegrounds. I will just continue to echo
- 0:42Speaker 1: what I have said for some time, which is it's
- 0:45Speaker 1: impossible for Minnesota, Michigan, New Hampshire to all be close.
- 0:50Speaker 1: as they reportedly are in the Senate races, and for
- 0:54Speaker 1: it to also be close in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Texas.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I just, I don't see a world in which a
- 1:02Speaker 1: deep red states are close and blue states are also
- 1:06Speaker 1: close in battlegrounds. So we will see what ends up
- 1:10Speaker 1: happening there. I will say this, Buck, early numbers out.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And I like to focus on the actual data. That is,
- 1:19Speaker 1: what are people doing? Over 12 million people have already
- 1:24Speaker 1: voted in this country so far in early voting. And
- 1:29Speaker 1: it is nearly identical to the early vote totals of
- 1:34Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. That is the percentage of Republican votes
- 1:39Speaker 1: and the percentage of Democrat votes. Now, maybe there's going
- 1:43Speaker 1: to be a much lower turnout than there typically is
- 1:46Speaker 1: when it comes to actual Election Day voting, which tends
- 1:49Speaker 1: to favor Republicans. But the data out so far to
- 1:53Speaker 1: me suggests that this is going to be another very
- 1:58Speaker 1: close election, another 50-50 election. election out there. And so
- 2:04Speaker 1: if that is going to be correct, then even more so,
- 2:08Speaker 1: you guys need to get out and vote. By the way,
- 2:10Speaker 1: we are going to be joined by another guy who
- 2:13Speaker 1: has some poll numbers suggesting yet another blue state could
- 2:17Speaker 1: be in play. Buck, your former residential state of New York.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman is going to join us at the bottom
- 2:26Speaker 1: of this hour, I believe, and he is the New
- 2:30Speaker 1: York Republican nominee. The most recent poll I saw in
- 2:33Speaker 1: this race, Buck, has New York as a four-point race.
- 2:37Speaker 1: If I remember correctly, Lee Zeldin lost the Republican nomination
- 2:42Speaker 1: The Republican nominee in 2022 running against Kathy Hochul lost
- 2:47Speaker 1: by only about five points. And you might say, OK, well,
- 2:51Speaker 1: he still lost, but it was the campaign that Lee
- 2:54Speaker 1: Zeldin won that that actually won Republicans the House, because
- 2:59Speaker 1: while a lot of people focus on the governor's races,
- 3:02Speaker 1: the Senate races, the statewide races, these congressional seats are
- 3:06Speaker 1: hugely important as well. And if Republicans show up to
- 3:09Speaker 1: vote for Bruce Blakeman in New York, they're likely going
- 3:12Speaker 1: to show up and help several Republican candidates win. Same
- 3:16Speaker 1: thing is true, by the way, in Florida, in so
- 3:18Speaker 1: many different parts of the country, in California, where our
- 3:25Speaker 1: friend Steve Hilton is running. It's not just the statewide races.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It's also what's going to happen in the congressional races.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So we need to stay on top of that and
- 3:36Speaker 1: make sure that we do not end up in a
- 3:39Speaker 1: situation where because people are dissuaded or discouraged because of
- 3:43Speaker 1: the polls, they don't show up. Everybody go vote. OK,
- 3:47Speaker 1: there's my PSA. Probably going to say it every day.
- 3:50Speaker 1: For the next two weeks.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Go vote early because Mr. Like first in line.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It's true.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Blah, blah.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I love the Republic. I went to Civil War nerd camp.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I'm into history. He's going to harangue you until you
- 4:01Speaker 2: go vote early. All of you.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You might as well just get it done. I'm a
- 4:05Speaker 1: better American than you because I have already voted. And
- 4:07Speaker 1: that is just the truth. And once you vote, you
- 4:10Speaker 1: can argue that you're a better American than me. But
- 4:12Speaker 1: until you vote, I had doubles. I didn't even realize this, Buck.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I went and voted and they give you stickers. I
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't know how many different states they give you stickers.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Like it says, I voted. It's Tennessee. And then they're
- 4:23Speaker 1: still celebrating 250 here in the state of Tennessee. And
- 4:27Speaker 1: so I didn't even realize I just stuck it on
- 4:29Speaker 1: my jacket, the couple of stickers that I got. And
- 4:31Speaker 1: then I flew last night late. And someone, when I
- 4:36Speaker 1: bought my food, may have said to me, I bet
- 4:38Speaker 1: you voted today. And I was like, oh, there must
- 4:41Speaker 1: be a listener.
- 4:42Speaker 3: That's great.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And then I looked down and realized that I had
- 4:45Speaker 1: two voting stickers on my jacket. So maybe they also
- 4:48Speaker 1: were a listener, but probably just noticing that I inadvertently
- 4:53Speaker 1: Because it's a bit colder in New York. I had
- 4:55Speaker 1: my jacket on and we're ready there. Okay, Buck. This
- 4:59Speaker 1: will dominate on YouTube. Make sure we clip and share
- 5:01Speaker 1: it well. The WNBA does not know what a woman is.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And as a result, Enos Cantor and Enos Cantor Freedom
- 5:09Speaker 1: and Royce White, two former first-round NBA draft picks, declared
- 5:13Speaker 1: for the WNBA. The WNBA draft is in April, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: I am going to dive in here and treat an
- 5:22Speaker 1: utterly ridiculous... An utterly ridiculous proposition as one that actually
- 5:29Speaker 1: has some truth to it. OK, so again, Enos Cantor,
- 5:35Speaker 1: according to multiple reports, and I want to get this right,
- 5:37Speaker 1: so I am pulling it up right now on my phone.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Some of you, by the way, Buck. correctly notice who
- 5:44Speaker 1: are big fans of the YouTube channel. We just kind
- 5:46Speaker 1: of mentioned this for those of you watching on video.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You and I are all the time looking down at
- 5:52Speaker 1: our phones. That is because we are reading the latest news.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That is because we are making sure that we are
- 6:00Speaker 1: on top of every bit of detail. So instead of
- 6:03Speaker 1: people on television who stare directly into your soul, like
- 6:07Speaker 1: I am doing right now, because they are reading off
- 6:09Speaker 1: of teleprompters often that are placed right in front of
- 6:12Speaker 1: the monitor, you and I, without scripts, without teleprompters, are
- 6:16Speaker 1: doing what normal humans on radio do, which is look
- 6:19Speaker 1: and continue to collate information. So it looks different.
- 6:23Speaker 2: This is also why your standard news broadcast, for example,
- 6:26Speaker 2: people have to rewrite and put things in the prompter
- 6:28Speaker 2: and whatever. I'll see if some one of you write
- 6:31Speaker 2: something really funny during the show on X. I'll see
- 6:34Speaker 2: it and respond to it on the show. If there's
- 6:37Speaker 2: breaking news that hits the Internet, we don't have to
- 6:39Speaker 2: have some script writer go back. We can address it.
- 6:43Speaker 2: within seconds of it hitting the newswire. And that's why
- 6:46Speaker 2: we're constantly monitoring. This is my way of saying this
- 6:48Speaker 2: is a truly live to the second and highly interactive program,
- 6:54Speaker 2: not some sterile, you know, Dan Rather back in the day,
- 6:59Speaker 2: make believe newsman program. And that is why we're looking
- 7:03Speaker 2: at our laptops and our phones and things in real
- 7:05Speaker 2: time so that we can be interacting with everything as
- 7:08Speaker 2: we go. So we will work on the eye contact
- 7:10Speaker 2: for some of you. But These are our words coming
- 7:13Speaker 2: out of our brains, not out of a prompter.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Okay, so I am reading from the letter that Enos
- 7:18Speaker 1: Cantor Freedom has posted on social media. This is from
- 7:22Speaker 1: the commissioner of the WNBA. And in one sentence, she says,
- 7:28Speaker 1: this is written to several different congressmen, Representative Stutzman, Biggs, Houchin, Rose,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and Nunn. And she says, with respect to your questions
- 7:39Speaker 1: regarding eligibility, Only women are eligible to play in the WNBA.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And the individuals you cite in your letter are both men. Okay,
- 7:52Speaker 1: so this is, and Enos Cancer Freedom has posted, ladies
- 7:55Speaker 1: and gentlemen of America, the moment you've all been waiting for,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the WNBA has officially responded. Is the WNBA transphobic? Apparently
- 8:04Speaker 1: the WNBA still can't define what a woman is, but
- 8:06Speaker 1: they are absolutely certain they know what a man is.
- 8:08Speaker 1: How convenient. WNBA Commissioner Kathy Engelbert has declared that I
- 8:13Speaker 1: am a man. Who gave her the authority to decide
- 8:15Speaker 1: who I am? Who gets to define my identity? And
- 8:18Speaker 1: how can the WNBA determine who is a man without
- 8:21Speaker 1: explaining what qualifies someone as a woman? Is the WNBA
- 8:25Speaker 1: denying people the right to define their own gender identity?
- 8:28Speaker 1: You can't have it both ways. America, read this letter
- 8:31Speaker 1: for yourselves. The WNBA has some explaining to do. Now,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I have just retweeted this so you can go read
- 8:39Speaker 1: the letter yourself as well. Here is me being a
- 8:43Speaker 1: lawyer now, Buck, and analyzing what Keith Cathy Engelbert has said.
- 8:48Speaker 1: She says that Enos Cantor Freedom and Royce White are
- 8:51Speaker 1: not eligible for the WNBA because they are men. That
- 8:55Speaker 1: is a determination of gender. If they can determine what
- 8:58Speaker 1: a man is, they also have to be able to
- 9:00Speaker 1: determine what a woman is. They still have not been
- 9:03Speaker 1: willing to define what a woman is. They merely are
- 9:06Speaker 1: saying that Enos Cantor, Freedom, and Royce White are men. Now,
- 9:10Speaker 1: leaving aside gender identity, the WNBA doesn't define what a
- 9:14Speaker 1: woman is because 30 years ago when they started the WNBA,
- 9:19Speaker 1: the idea that Democrats and left-wingers would go so crazy
- 9:23Speaker 1: that we would be able to have an entire movie
- 9:25Speaker 1: about by Matt Walsh, which is fantastically done, mocking the
- 9:29Speaker 1: idea that no one can define what a woman actually is.
- 9:33Speaker 1: At some point in time, if Enos Cantor Freedom and
- 9:36Speaker 1: Royce White sue to be able to enter into the WNBA,
- 9:40Speaker 1: they are going to have to define what a woman is.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Now here, Buck, is what I think is the complexity.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I think there may well be people who do not chromosomally,
- 9:51Speaker 1: biologically comply with standard definitions of womanhood in playing in
- 9:55Speaker 1: the WNBA right now and that I think is why
- 9:59Speaker 1: they have not defined what a woman is. Because every
- 10:03Speaker 1: other league, the WTA, that's the Women's Tennis Association, NCAA,
- 10:07Speaker 1: the Olympics, they can swab your cheek. So all you
- 10:11Speaker 1: have to do, your cheek in your mouth, you just
- 10:14Speaker 1: compare all the testing that everybody had to do for COVID.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It's a non-entity. They then can determine if you are XX, female,
- 10:22Speaker 1: or XY, male, or something other than XX, which is
- 10:27Speaker 1: typically sort of in the biological middle ground. There are
- 10:30Speaker 1: a few tiny percentage people that are not defined as
- 10:34Speaker 1: either gender, but that is a gender abnormality, not a
- 10:38Speaker 1: gender identity. And so, Buck, to me, as you break
- 10:43Speaker 1: all of this down and analyze this, I still think
- 10:47Speaker 1: the WNBA is going to have to define what a
- 10:49Speaker 1: woman is. And I still think Enos Cantor, Freedom and
- 10:52Speaker 1: Royce White, based on the gender identity pronouncements of the WNBA,
- 10:56Speaker 1: have a legal claim here that could be colorable. particularly
- 11:01Speaker 1: if they file it in a red state. And I
- 11:03Speaker 1: would just point out, the WNBA, to my knowledge, has
- 11:06Speaker 1: not yet announced where the WNBA draft is going to
- 11:09Speaker 1: be taking place. But to me, this is still a mess,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and it is where identity politics and left-wing culture leads you,
- 11:19Speaker 1: which is an inability to actually define the most basic
- 11:22Speaker 1: precepts of humanity. They cannot say what a man is
- 11:27Speaker 1: and what a woman is and what distinguishes them which
- 11:30Speaker 1: is absolutely bonkers and insane.
- 11:35Speaker 2: That's perfect.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I don't think there's really much to add on to
- 11:39Speaker 2: that other than, yes, it is bonkers. It is insane. You,
- 11:43Speaker 2: it sounds like, Clay, think that there's a very real
- 11:46Speaker 2: possibility that the WNBA already is not really just the WNBA.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It might include some other possibilities in there, which is
- 11:56Speaker 2: a lone possibility. I think a headline.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I think I think there is a strong likelihood that
- 12:02Speaker 1: there is someone who does not comply with basics. X
- 12:05Speaker 1: X chromosomal testing currently.
- 12:08Speaker 2: You think there's an intersex player essentially, right? I think
- 12:10Speaker 2: that's right, which is used to be called hermaphrodites. They
- 12:13Speaker 2: don't like that term. I think it comes from the
- 12:15Speaker 2: ancient Greek, by the way. It sounds like something from.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Greek, right?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Well, this is where they try to argue, oh, gender
- 12:20Speaker 1: has always been non-binary. No, there are some people with
- 12:23Speaker 1: gender identity, gender, I don't even know what you would
- 12:27Speaker 1: call it, like the chromosomal abnormality that is such. Usually
- 12:31Speaker 1: what they do in these cases is they pump these
- 12:37Speaker 1: individuals full of estrogen because they tend to reveal and
- 12:41Speaker 1: look female more than they look male, right? And so
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's like Kleinfelter syndrome, something like this. A tiny percentage
- 12:48Speaker 1: of babies are born with some biological signs from both.
- 12:53Speaker 1: They typically pump them full of estrogen, say they're women,
- 12:55Speaker 1: but they may not have a uterus. They might not
- 12:57Speaker 1: have typical genitals that would reflect straight men or straight women.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Hermaphroditus was, in fact, the son of the ancient Greek
- 13:07Speaker 2: gods Hermes and Aphrodite. And the name is simply a
- 13:11Speaker 2: combination of the parents names. He was a beautiful youth,
- 13:16Speaker 2: it says here. And the nymph Salomachus became enamored of
- 13:21Speaker 2: him while he bathed in a pool and prayed to
- 13:23Speaker 2: the gods they would never be separated. The gods granted
- 13:26Speaker 2: her wish by fusing their bodies into a single being
- 13:30Speaker 2: with both male and female genitalia. That is, now I
- 13:37Speaker 2: knew it was an ancient Greek word. I didn't realize
- 13:38Speaker 2: it's actually an ancient Greek myth. That's where hermaphrodite comes from.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I didn't know that either.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You know what I mean? You learn stuff every day
- 13:44Speaker 2: on this program. But they don't like that one. They
- 13:47Speaker 2: prefer intersex. So there might be some hermaphrodites with a
- 13:52Speaker 2: great jump shot in the WNBA is what Clay is
- 13:54Speaker 2: basically telling us.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Right?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Pretty much?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Maybe not even great jump shots. They may be power
- 14:00Speaker 1: forward center style players more so than guards.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:04Speaker 2: You're thinking they're more in the paint? Got a couple
- 14:06Speaker 2: of ideas. Got a couple of ideas.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:08Speaker 2: He's saying not point guards. Not point guards. You say
- 14:11Speaker 2: not point guards. That's a spicy take. That's going to
- 14:14Speaker 2: be fun on the internet.
- 14:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Cozy Earth. Oh, Buck, what'd you do last night? You
- 14:19Speaker 2: mean after I washed off the soil from my hands
- 14:22Speaker 2: as I was using my outdoor plants? and doing all
- 14:26Speaker 2: my Home Depot stuff. Yeah, I got to get into
- 14:29Speaker 2: my very silky soft, amazing Cozy Earth sheets. That's right,
- 14:32Speaker 2: my friends. I had that to look forward to all day.
- 14:34Speaker 2: We got Cozy Earth all over the place. Even Ginger
- 14:36Speaker 2: Spice loves Cozy Earth. The sheets, that's kind of the baseline,
- 14:40Speaker 2: the base layer, if you will, with Cozy Earth. I
- 14:41Speaker 2: would just get yourself some new Cozy Earth sheets. You're
- 14:43Speaker 2: going to love them. They're going to be the best
- 14:44Speaker 2: sheets you have. You're going to have them all over
- 14:46Speaker 2: your house. Get a few pairs of them because when
- 14:47Speaker 2: you change them out, once you get used to that quality,
- 14:50Speaker 2: you don't want to go back to some other thing
- 14:52Speaker 2: that you would get somewhere else. Cozier sheets will keep
- 14:54Speaker 2: you cool, by the way. So they're so simply silky
- 15:00Speaker 2: soft on your skin. There's also the bubble cuddle blanket.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It sits right now on our we have a bubble
- 15:05Speaker 2: bubble cuddle blanket in the middle of our couch. Our
- 15:07Speaker 2: main couch where speed completely dominates the television and is
- 15:12Speaker 2: always making me watch. Children's programming that I'd never heard
- 15:15Speaker 2: of before. I got all these songs stuck in my head.
- 15:17Speaker 2: But at least I'm warm and cozy under my bubble
- 15:19Speaker 2: cuddle blanket. Go get stocked up. The sheets, the bubble
- 15:23Speaker 2: cuddle blanket, the pajamas. They got clothing. They got all
- 15:26Speaker 2: kinds of stuff. CozyEarth.com. Use code Buck for up to 20% off. CozyEarth.com.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Code Buck. Great gift for the holidays, too, by the way.
- 15:36Speaker 2: We're getting to that time of the year. CozyEarth.com. Promo
- 15:39Speaker 2: code Buck for 20% off.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Smart, fun, sane.
- 15:45Speaker 3: You check all three when you listen to Clay and Buck.
- 15:48Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in here to Clay and Buck.
- 15:51Speaker 2: A couple things here. You know, first of all, some
- 15:55Speaker 2: people are coming to my rescue, my defense, on my
- 15:59Speaker 2: Home Depot excursion. I'm even having people say it doesn't
- 16:02Speaker 2: count if you go into the gardening section. That's for
- 16:06Speaker 2: the wife to go into. Excuse me, sir. Excuse me.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Excuse me. I went right through the thing with all
- 16:13Speaker 2: the hammers and the light fixtures and the electric stuff.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I walked through all of that to get to the
- 16:20Speaker 2: gardening area. E, Corey in Minnesota on the Talkbacks.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Hit it. Good afternoon, gentlemen. Buck, you keep carrying on
- 16:27Speaker 4: about your testosterone on walking in to get potting soil.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I don't see you sitting at a workbench even putting
- 16:33Speaker 4: plants together. Not that that's real manly in my book.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I see you more as you have your pink fuzzy
- 16:40Speaker 4: slippers on and a bathrobe giving yourself a manicure while
- 16:45Speaker 4: your bubble bath runs.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Wow. Man.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I mean, he's hating on me, but I'm going to
- 16:51Speaker 2: say this. That bubble bath sounds really nice.
- 16:53Speaker 1: When is the last time that you took a bubble
- 16:55Speaker 1: bath by yourself?
- 16:58Speaker 2: I plead the fifth. I can neither confirm nor deny.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I said by yourself because you're a married man. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: think there's a lot of men that are happy to
- 17:04Speaker 1: get into a bubble bath if they're not alone.
- 17:06Speaker 2: For sure. I don't. I got a quick one here.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I got a quick one. Pam in Alaska. Go ahead, Pam.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Buck, you know what I say?
- 17:13Speaker 5: I say hush up all you haters. Buck, you just
- 17:15Speaker 5: embrace your identity as an indoor trick-or-treater, scooter-riding New Yorker,
- 17:21Speaker 5: pampered house cat in Miami Beach. It's all right because
- 17:24Speaker 5: you know what? You served your country. You were in
- 17:27Speaker 5: harm's way, though not in the military. I hear you're
- 17:29Speaker 5: an excellent marksman as well. And we'll just tell all
- 17:33Speaker 5: those haters to hush up.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Wow.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 17:38Speaker 2: She was defending me, but also kind of adding to
- 17:41Speaker 2: the opposition file.
- 17:44Speaker 1: The second half of her call contrasted quite a lot
- 17:47Speaker 1: with the first half.
- 17:48Speaker 5: I know.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I didn't know where.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That was going. She stuck the landing for me, though.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Thank you, Pam.
- 17:52Speaker 1: 100%. All right, we come back. We've got the hopeful
- 17:57Speaker 1: gubernatorial winner in New York, Bruce Blakeman, going to join us.
- 18:02Speaker 1: We will discuss that with him. The number of people
- 18:04Speaker 1: moved to recognize and support Israel's people this past October
- 18:07Speaker 1: 7th is staggering. Hundreds of thousands of people across 17 countries,
- 18:11Speaker 1: including ours, planted 5 million Israeli flags in front yards, fields,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and parks, done to honor the 1,200 lives lost in
- 18:19Speaker 1: Israel three years ago on October 7th. Effort organized by
- 18:22Speaker 1: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, that's the IFCJ.
- 18:26Speaker 1: marking their third Flags of Fellowship movement. More than 4,300 churches, synagogues,
- 18:32Speaker 1: universities also participated. The IFCJ nonprofit organization based in the U.S.
- 18:37Speaker 1: that helps vulnerable Jewish communities around the world. Your gift
- 18:41Speaker 1: today helps deliver life-saving food, shelter, and medical aid. To
- 18:45Speaker 1: learn more about the IFCJ and how you can stand
- 18:48Speaker 1: with Israel and the Jewish people, visit this website, joinfof.org.
- 18:54Speaker 1: That's the word join F.O.F. dot org. Welcome back in.
- 18:58Speaker 1: We've been talking about all the different battlegrounds across the
- 19:01Speaker 1: country and how many of them are competitive. And frankly,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I think a lot of people are surprised. Maybe not
- 19:08Speaker 1: those of you listening to us right now on W.O.R.
- 19:12Speaker 1: But Bruce Blakeman, according to a recent poll, Republican candidate
- 19:16Speaker 1: for governor only down four points against Kathy Hochul. Kathy Hochul,
- 19:21Speaker 1: not a particularly popular governor. Bruce, we appreciate you making
- 19:25Speaker 1: the time. Know how busy you are running all over
- 19:27Speaker 1: the place. What are you seeing and hearing as this
- 19:31Speaker 1: campaign plays out? And how do you believe you can
- 19:33Speaker 1: put together a coalition to beat Kathy Hochul? We've got
- 19:41Speaker 1: an audio or video issue, I think, with Bruce. Maybe
- 19:45Speaker 1: dial it back because I can hear him a little
- 19:46Speaker 1: bit in my ear and let's figure it out. Buck,
- 19:49Speaker 1: one of the challenges, obviously, as you well know, because
- 19:52Speaker 1: you were born and raised in New York City is.
- 19:54Speaker 1: There is a upstate vote, and the upstate vote is
- 19:57Speaker 1: a lot of normal people. And then there is a
- 20:00Speaker 1: New York City vote, which is filled with a lot
- 20:03Speaker 1: of crazy left-wingers, the same people who elected Zoran Mamdani.
- 20:08Speaker 1: And so the goal is to try and be as
- 20:11Speaker 1: competitive as possible in New York. And Trump got, as
- 20:14Speaker 1: you well know, a lot more New York City support
- 20:17Speaker 1: in 2024. than he had in past years, while at
- 20:21Speaker 1: the same time managing to continue to motivate the base
- 20:24Speaker 1: in upstate New York to show up.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that this is one of those times
- 20:31Speaker 2: where there hasn't been that much attention paid to a
- 20:34Speaker 2: race that is, in fact, very much within striking distance.
- 20:38Speaker 2: If you recall, I forget the numbers offhand, we could
- 20:40Speaker 2: look them up, Clay, but it was at the 2022
- 20:42Speaker 2: race for New Jersey governor was.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Very close. And nobody.
- 20:50Speaker 1: 2021, New Jersey.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry, 2021.
- 20:55Speaker 1: But 2022 was the election where Kathy Hochul defeated Lee Zeldin.
- 20:59Speaker 1: And it came down to five points. I mean, it
- 21:01Speaker 1: was a very winnable race in general. And Bruce Blakeman
- 21:05Speaker 1: is trying to build on the success that he saw
- 21:08Speaker 1: Lee Zeldin put together. And as we were talking about earlier, Buck,
- 21:10Speaker 1: a big part of this story is not only what
- 21:13Speaker 1: happens in the governor's race, but also if Republicans show
- 21:16Speaker 1: up to support Bruce Blakeman, and other Republican candidates, including
- 21:21Speaker 1: an attorney general who is trying to make a run
- 21:23Speaker 1: with Letitia James, all of that can kind of stack
- 21:26Speaker 1: up and make a big difference in the congressional races
- 21:28Speaker 1: as well.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So Phil Murphy, back in 2021, I was trying to
- 21:32Speaker 2: remember the year, 2021 race, that off year, Phil Murphy
- 21:35Speaker 2: beat Jack Cittarelli by three points. That's in New Jersey.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yes.
- 21:43Speaker 2: It was about eighty four thousand vote difference in the
- 21:47Speaker 2: state of New Jersey. And you had two point call
- 21:53Speaker 2: it two point nine, basically three million votes cast. Eighty
- 21:56Speaker 2: four thousand vote margin. Super tight. And so there's hope
- 22:00Speaker 2: here that maybe New York. Could be, you know, going
- 22:05Speaker 2: down a similar pathway where it hasn't gotten a lot
- 22:07Speaker 2: of national attention. But look, let's just say Kathy Hochul
- 22:10Speaker 2: is a Nimrod, honestly. And I don't mean to be mean.
- 22:14Speaker 2: You know, maybe she I don't know if she has grandkids.
- 22:16Speaker 2: She probably does. She's probably a mom. I don't know
- 22:17Speaker 2: much about her personal life. She's maybe a nice enough
- 22:20Speaker 2: lady in person. I don't know. I doubt it. But
- 22:22Speaker 2: maybe she is. She's an imbecile. And she's a terrible governor.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And she's only the governor because she was bringing Buffalo
- 22:31Speaker 2: to the table while Cuomo was governor. And Cuomo was
- 22:37Speaker 2: giving too many cheek smooches and side grabs to his
- 22:41Speaker 2: female staff.
- 22:42Speaker 1: That's the only reason she's governor. We've got now Bruce
- 22:46Speaker 1: Boikman on with us. Appreciate all the time that he
- 22:49Speaker 1: is spending with us in the midst of this race.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I just said to start the interview a bit ago,
- 22:53Speaker 1: but I'll reiterate it. What are you seeing on the
- 22:56Speaker 1: ground and how optimistic is it that you believe you
- 22:59Speaker 1: may have an opportunity to win? And what do you
- 23:01Speaker 1: need New Yorkers to do to make that possible?
- 23:05Speaker 3: Well, we've seen about 12 polls around the state, congressional races,
- 23:09Speaker 3: assembly races, Senate races, our internals. And we've also heard
- 23:13Speaker 3: from Democrats who are privy to their polling and also
- 23:17Speaker 3: to independent PACs who have been polling this race. We're
- 23:21Speaker 3: in a virtual dead heat with Kathy Hochul. As improbable
- 23:24Speaker 3: as it seems in this deep blue state, people are
- 23:28Speaker 3: fed up with Kathy Hochul. She's the worst governor in America.
- 23:31Speaker 3: We're the highest taxed state in America. Our utility bills
- 23:33Speaker 3: are 70% higher than the national average. People feel unsafe
- 23:37Speaker 3: in their communities. Now she's partnered with Zohra Mondami, a
- 23:41Speaker 3: guy that's a communist. And the two of them just
- 23:44Speaker 3: want to tax us into oblivion and let criminals run
- 23:47Speaker 3: rampant in our communities. So people are fed up, and
- 23:50Speaker 3: Kathy Hochul's unfavorables are very high, and we're running a
- 23:53Speaker 3: very aggressive campaign. We've raised the money. We've bought the
- 23:56Speaker 3: fight to the people, and we're going to win.
- 24:00Speaker 2: And give us some of the things, if you would, Bruce.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Thanks for being here, by the way, with us. Give us,
- 24:05Speaker 2: and the great thing is, you know, you're talking to,
- 24:07Speaker 2: we got WOR out of NYC, which reaches for, you know,
- 24:11Speaker 2: hours car drive in all directions for the tri-state, but
- 24:15Speaker 2: also stations all over New York. And as Clay pointed out,
- 24:18Speaker 2: You've got some real pockets of sanity when you get
- 24:22Speaker 2: out of the five boroughs of New York City. What
- 24:26Speaker 2: are some of the decisions Hochul has made specifically that
- 24:29Speaker 2: you just would want to remind New Yorkers about that
- 24:32Speaker 2: has really had a deleterious effect on their quality of life,
- 24:37Speaker 2: on their ability to pay their bills?
- 24:39Speaker 3: So let's start off with 48 utility rate hikes in
- 24:43Speaker 3: the last four years. That's one a month. And the
- 24:47Speaker 3: reason why our utility bills are so high is because
- 24:50Speaker 3: she's completely wedded to green energy. It's a scam. We're
- 24:55Speaker 3: not going to be able to provide enough energy with
- 24:57Speaker 3: wind turbines in the middle of the ocean or solar
- 24:59Speaker 3: farms in upstate New York that are under snow three
- 25:02Speaker 3: months out of the year. It's a fantasy. But she's
- 25:05Speaker 3: collecting billions of dollars every month from our payments to
- 25:09Speaker 3: invest in these things with foreign corporations coming in, and
- 25:13Speaker 3: getting billions of dollars in subsidies, and we're getting very
- 25:16Speaker 3: little energy, we could start fracking tomorrow on the southern
- 25:21Speaker 3: tier in New York. We've got one of the largest
- 25:23Speaker 3: natural gas reserves in the world. Increase our energy supply
- 25:27Speaker 3: by a tremendous level and cut our utility bills in half.
- 25:32Speaker 3: So that's what I'm hearing from people, number one. Number two,
- 25:35Speaker 3: our taxes. We're the highest tax state in America. Tax, tax, tax.
- 25:40Speaker 3: She's taxed everybody out of New York State. That's why
- 25:43Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands of people have left. That's why hundreds
- 25:46Speaker 3: of thousands of businesses have left, all just in the
- 25:49Speaker 3: last year. And her policies, castless bail towards criminals. She
- 25:54Speaker 3: is the most pro-criminal governor in the United States of America.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Now she won't let ICE cooperate with local law enforcement.
- 26:01Speaker 3: We have illegal migrants who have committed murders, attempted murder, rape.
- 26:06Speaker 3: A 14-year-old girl was raped by illegal migrants just last month.
- 26:10Speaker 3: And Kathy Hochul is indifferent to the fact that our
- 26:15Speaker 3: communities are less safe. They won't let local law enforcement
- 26:18Speaker 3: do their job. And she's spending $ 8 billion over the
- 26:22Speaker 3: last four years and another $ 1. 7 billion this year on
- 26:26Speaker 3: free food, free housing, free transportation, and a free cell
- 26:29Speaker 3: phone for illegal migrants. All you've got to do is
- 26:31Speaker 3: come to New York, claim asylum, and you get more
- 26:34Speaker 3: benefits than a New Yorker gets. On day one, that's over.
- 26:39Speaker 3: We're going to spend the money on New Yorkers. We're
- 26:41Speaker 3: going to cut their taxes, cut their utility bills. And
- 26:44Speaker 3: I will sign an executive order on my first day
- 26:47Speaker 3: of office saying we are no longer a sanctuary state.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Bruce, I want to dive in a bit granular here
- 26:54Speaker 1: because I remember we talked to Lee Zeldin a few
- 26:56Speaker 1: years ago on the program and the impact that he
- 26:59Speaker 1: had in that close race against Kathy Hochul last time.
- 27:02Speaker 1: He talked about what you have to do in New
- 27:04Speaker 1: York City and what the turnout needs to be like
- 27:07Speaker 1: there for a Republican to win. because a huge part
- 27:10Speaker 1: of the Republican vote is upstate for people who don't
- 27:14Speaker 1: know the New York area very well. That's point one.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Point two, Buck and I have had a big debate
- 27:18Speaker 1: about Jewish voters. Jewish voters have moved in New York
- 27:22Speaker 1: in particular very much in the direction of the Republican Party.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Do you think that's still happening? What's the impact of
- 27:28Speaker 1: Mamdani in terms of motivating people in the New York
- 27:31Speaker 1: City area and beyond of all different backgrounds to potentially
- 27:35Speaker 1: turn out? What can you tell us about the data?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Well, first of all, Jewish voters are scared to death
- 27:43Speaker 3: of Zoran Mondami and his radical policies. He won't even
- 27:48Speaker 3: denounce global intifada, which was the reason for the attack
- 27:53Speaker 3: on 9-11, which was the reason for the attack in
- 27:56Speaker 3: Israel on October 7th. He won't even denounce that. He's
- 28:00Speaker 3: a radical. He's anti-American. He's anti-Semitic. And he's anti-Christian. So
- 28:05Speaker 3: people are scared to death of him. Jewish voters are
- 28:08Speaker 3: coming over to us in droves, but also other Democrats
- 28:11Speaker 3: are coming over. You know, this isn't the party of
- 28:15Speaker 3: Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Hugh Carey, Mario Cuomo, or even Bill Clinton.
- 28:20Speaker 3: You know, we had policy differences with them, and our
- 28:23Speaker 3: differences could be very sharp on policy. But one thing
- 28:25Speaker 3: about them that I was convinced of, they loved America.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Zoran Mandami is He doesn't love America. Cassie Hochul endorsed him.
- 28:35Speaker 3: He's endorsing her. They're campaigning together. AOC doesn't love America.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Chevalier doesn't love America. Lander doesn't love America. We've got
- 28:43Speaker 3: a Democratic Party that's been taken over now by the
- 28:46Speaker 3: DSA and people who hate America. And Democrats are starting
- 28:51Speaker 3: to realize this ain't the party they signed up for.
- 28:55Speaker 3: So every day another Democrat says, Bruce, I'm a lifelong Democrat,
- 28:59Speaker 3: never voted for a Republican in my life. This year,
- 29:02Speaker 3: we're voting for you. We're voting Republican. Our party is insane.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Speaking of Bruce Blakeman, Blakeman4NewYork. com is his website. He is running,
- 29:11Speaker 2: and it is a real race. It is a tight
- 29:14Speaker 2: race in New York, despite the huge Democrat registration advantage
- 29:18Speaker 2: that Kathy Hochul has. What's it going to take here, Bruce?
- 29:23Speaker 2: What has to happen to break your way, meaning what
- 29:26Speaker 2: groups and what issues perhaps propel to the forefront So
- 29:31Speaker 2: that you could pull off what is clearly possible, and
- 29:34Speaker 2: we want to make sure everyone understands that. You could
- 29:36Speaker 2: win this race. It would be considered an upset just
- 29:39Speaker 2: because it's Democratic. stronghold new york how does it happen
- 29:42Speaker 2: walk walk us through the finish line.
- 29:44Speaker 3: So we're going to win this race uh we could
- 29:47Speaker 3: use some help go to blakeman for new york.com so
- 29:50Speaker 3: my launching pad is long island where i have a
- 29:54Speaker 3: strong presence and people like what i've done haven't raised
- 29:57Speaker 3: taxes in five years, cut $ 150 million in taxes, have
- 30:00Speaker 3: the safest county in America. So it starts on Long Island.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Let's move to New York City. New York City, we
- 30:07Speaker 3: need to get at least 32% of the vote to
- 30:09Speaker 3: be competitive. 36%, we win hands down. We're at 33% now.
- 30:15Speaker 3: We've got a little way to go. Like I said, Democrats,
- 30:18Speaker 3: independent voters are breaking our way there. Westchester, can't lose
- 30:22Speaker 3: Westchester by 20 points. Lee lost it by 20 points
- 30:26Speaker 3: last time. We're making tremendous inroads there. I believe that
- 30:29Speaker 3: we're going to cut that in half. Upstate New York,
- 30:32Speaker 3: we're doing phenomenal. The turnout is amazing so far for
- 30:36Speaker 3: all of our rallies. We can't keep our lawn signs
- 30:39Speaker 3: in our headquarters. And we are now dead even in
- 30:43Speaker 3: her home county, Erie County, the home of Buffalo, 45-45.
- 30:46Speaker 3: I've been endorsed by the Buffalo PBA. They know Kathy
- 30:51Speaker 3: Hochul better than anybody else. And they say she has
- 30:54Speaker 3: made Erie County less safe. They're going with me. So
- 30:59Speaker 3: we're going to get a big turnout. Gun owners, they
- 31:03Speaker 3: got to get off their ass and vote. In the past,
- 31:05Speaker 3: they haven't voted. There's a million gun owners that didn't
- 31:07Speaker 3: vote four years ago. Go vote. That's the way you
- 31:11Speaker 3: can express your patriotism. A lot of people died for
- 31:14Speaker 3: your right to vote. Get up, go vote, because Kathy
- 31:16Speaker 3: Hochul wants to take your guns away.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's important not only for you to win, but we
- 31:21Speaker 1: were talking about the down-ballot impacts. Last question for you.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I know you got a big race on the Attorney General.
- 31:27Speaker 1: A lot of people are moving there. If you're frustrated,
- 31:29Speaker 1: furious about Letitia James, if you're angry about a lot
- 31:33Speaker 1: of what Zoran Mamdani has done, there's a lot of
- 31:36Speaker 1: down-ballot races that matter a great deal, too. Tell us
- 31:39Speaker 1: about the ticket overall.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Well, Sarisa Kamaduretti is a seasoned prosecutor who She's as
- 31:47Speaker 3: bright as they come, and she'll be a great attorney general.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Joe Hernandez, he's the American dream story, came from Cuba,
- 31:55Speaker 3: emigrated here. He has made a fortune in finance, wants
- 32:00Speaker 3: to give back to the community to be the controller.
- 32:02Speaker 3: But we've also got to win our congressional races. You know,
- 32:05Speaker 3: we need to make sure that Mike Johnson is the
- 32:08Speaker 3: Speaker of the House of Representatives. That could... be done.
- 32:13Speaker 3: It could be sealed. The deal could be sealed right
- 32:15Speaker 3: here rather than have Hakeem Jeffries. So our congressional candidates,
- 32:19Speaker 3: Mike Lawler, very important. Janine Driscoll, Mike Lepetri. These are
- 32:25Speaker 3: all races we can win. Kayleigh Buller. All races we
- 32:29Speaker 3: can win here in New York. We can win five
- 32:32Speaker 3: new congressional races here in New York. I'm very optimistic.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Our state Senate, state assembly candidates, our local candidates, We
- 32:40Speaker 3: need a red wave because I don't want a lonely
- 32:42Speaker 3: victory up there in Albany all by myself. I'm going
- 32:45Speaker 3: to need help in Washington. I'm going to need help
- 32:46Speaker 3: in Albany. I'm going to need help on the local
- 32:48Speaker 3: level because we have to fundamentally change our state, save
- 32:53Speaker 3: our state, put New Yorkers first, and get back to
- 32:55Speaker 3: American values.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, bring home a W, sir. I still love
- 33:00Speaker 2: New York. I'm a born and raised New Yorker, so
- 33:02Speaker 2: I would love to see it move into the right direction.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Keep up the good work, sir. Appreciate you.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Thank you. God bless you. God bless America.

- 34:27Speaker 2: Welcome back into Clay and Buck. We just had Baby
- 34:29Speaker 2: Speed in the chair. We'll bring him back, but he
- 34:31Speaker 2: got fussy. He wanted to turn off the live radio
- 34:35Speaker 2: show by pressing all the buttons. If you hear any
- 34:37Speaker 2: crying in the background, that's what's going on. He loves,
- 34:40Speaker 2: he wants to be in the captain's chair. He's like,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I don't, he's like, this is my show now. So
- 34:43Speaker 2: he was trying to talk into the mic. And I
- 34:46Speaker 2: would imagine is pretty enticing for a little kid. All
- 34:49Speaker 2: of the different bright buttons that are arrayed in front
- 34:53Speaker 2: of them. It's a little bit hard not to be
- 34:55Speaker 2: trying to hit all those different buttons.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I would imagine if you're a little guy.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's a, it's a lot, a lot, a
- 35:00Speaker 2: lot of whiz bangs and buttons and things to push
- 35:02Speaker 2: in here for sure. Let's get to some of your
- 35:04Speaker 2: talk back, some of your calls, some of your, Brilliant thoughts.
- 35:09Speaker 2: And oh, but we have Miranda Devine coming up next.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Is that is that confirmed, guys?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Yes, we got her. I reached out because I was
- 35:15Speaker 1: reading this morning, Buck, as I was getting ready. She
- 35:18Speaker 1: has covered this Ilhan Omar allegations that appears to be
- 35:21Speaker 1: a foundational element of the overall investigation. And so I
