Speaker 1: I do Part two. I'm here with Brian Austin Green.
• 0:23
Speaker 1: I'm Kathy Schwartz, and we are here with Farmer Sean
• 0:27
Speaker 1: and we are here to talk about all things from
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Farmer Wants a Wife. Then season four coming up, So
• 0:33
Speaker 1: what do you say we get started?
• 0:34
  Speaker 2: Let's do it.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: It's exciting season four coming out. How did you feel
• 0:38
Speaker 3: when you when they first reached out to you and
• 0:41
Speaker 3: they were like, hey, come, come bead Well, I mean.
• 0:43
Speaker 4: I got an Instagram DM one random day. I honestly
• 0:46
Speaker 4: thought it was a scam, and I told my parents
• 0:48
Speaker 4: about it. They just started laughing. And then as I
• 0:51
Speaker 4: was talking to people in Fox, more and more it
• 0:54
Speaker 4: sounded like a crazy opportunity. So I was like, I'm
• 0:57
Speaker 4: only young once. I'm gonna go ahead and do it.
• 0:58
Speaker 4: And I had been single for like a year before
• 1:01
Speaker 4: I did the show, So I was like, what a
• 1:03
Speaker 4: what a crazy time in my life and there's I
• 1:05
Speaker 4: don't think there's gonna be a better opportunity to find
• 1:07
Speaker 4: my potential future wife.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Wow. So I got to ask you, do you
• 1:12
Speaker 1: believe in love at first sight?
• 1:15
Speaker 2: Sorry to believe now you are?
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: Really?
• 1:18
  Speaker 2: Yeah?
• 1:19
Speaker 4: I mean I think love at first sight is a
• 1:21
Speaker 4: crazy saying because obviously you don't know anyone when you
• 1:24
Speaker 4: first see him. But I think I kind of believe
• 1:26
Speaker 4: in this thing called like the invisible string theory, where
• 1:29
Speaker 4: like two people are just kind of drawn to each other.
• 1:32
Speaker 4: And I think, when you know, you know.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: Hold on, I got to back up invisible string. If
• 1:38
Speaker 1: you'd said magnet I was with you.
• 1:40
  Speaker 4: It's a visible I don't necessarily know if I fully
• 1:43
Speaker 4: understand it myself. The way I perceive it is that
• 1:47
Speaker 4: there's almost like a string between two people and it
• 1:49
Speaker 4: just draws them closer and closer, and it's just like
• 1:52
Speaker 4: it's just kind of like when you have chemistry with
• 1:54
Speaker 4: someone you know you know.
• 1:55
Speaker 3: And you never know when you're supposed to run into somebody,
• 1:58
Speaker 3: but eventually you always do.
• 1:59
Speaker 2: It's like that meant to be.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: But I heard what you just said, When you know
• 2:05
Speaker 1: you know, are you one of those guys?
• 2:07
Speaker 4: I absolutely am when you know you know? And if
• 2:10
Speaker 4: he wanted to, he would, So I think I live by.
• 2:12
Speaker 2: Those I love it.
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: I love it.
• 2:15
Speaker 3: So besides the farm, your family also has an amazing
• 2:19
Speaker 3: farm to table restaurant, the Gathering Table. In your perspective,
• 2:23
Speaker 3: why is gathering around the table every day so important
• 2:26
Speaker 3: when building a solid relationship.
• 2:28
  Speaker 2: Well, I think.
• 2:30
Speaker 4: I mean, I grew up eating dinner with my family
• 2:32
Speaker 4: at least five nights a week. It's something that was
• 2:35
Speaker 4: pretty strong in my family. My dad loves to make dinner,
• 2:38
Speaker 4: and I just think gathering around a table, especially over
• 2:41
Speaker 4: good food and good drinks, it's an amazing thing. And
• 2:44
Speaker 4: it's just all about connecting with the people you love.
• 2:46
Speaker 4: And I think that's kind of what the restaurant is
• 2:48
Speaker 4: all about, is bringing people together and especially experiencing good food.
• 2:51
Speaker 4: And then in this valley and specific is the whole
• 2:53
Speaker 4: farmer table thing. But then also partnering with local wineries
• 2:56
Speaker 4: and pairing our food with the local wineries.
• 2:58
  Speaker 2: It's such a fulfilling experience.
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: It's amazing.
• 3:01
Speaker 3: With my fiance, we always do we always make sure
• 3:04
Speaker 3: that we have like full family dinners, and I love it.
• 3:07
Speaker 3: That's that's one of the times where you get everybody
• 3:09
Speaker 3: out of their room, everybody out of there stuff, and
• 3:11
Speaker 3: we sit and we have these games on the table
• 3:14
Speaker 3: that are just questions you answer, and so we'll pull
• 3:17
Speaker 3: questions and then you go around the table and you answer,
• 3:19
Speaker 3: and so I love that it's silly things, but it
• 3:22
Speaker 3: really it's amazing how it brings things together and forces
• 3:27
Speaker 3: you guys to just kind of slow down, that you make.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Time to eat meals with each other because you both
• 3:32
Speaker 1: live busy lives, have to. Okay, So speaking of cooking,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: I I met your mom and she gave me some
• 3:39
Speaker 1: fabulous pistachio cake. And I looked at her because I
• 3:42
Speaker 1: love to bake. I said, did you bake this?
• 3:44
  Speaker 2: She up?
• 3:45
Speaker 1: She said no, And I'm that's.
• 3:48
Speaker 4: Okaynest And my family, my dad is the restaurant connoisseur,
• 3:53
Speaker 4: so he's the chef in my fan Okay.
• 3:55
Speaker 3: My dad is the one that made me a coffee
• 3:58
Speaker 3: and asking me what kind of can I just say, you.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Have not stopped talking about that coffee since I can't stop. Okay, Well,
• 4:05
Speaker 1: if if you're that easy to please, just give the
• 4:07
Speaker 1: guy a cup of coffee. Okay. I am not a
• 4:09
Speaker 1: great cook. I can cook. I love to bake. I
• 4:12
Speaker 1: baked from scratch. Okay. So here's my question. And I'm
• 4:17
Speaker 1: not a big eater. I look like I am, but
• 4:18
Speaker 1: I'm really not. Would you rather date a picky eater
• 4:23
Speaker 1: or a woman like I who burns everything? She attempts
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: to cook.
• 4:28
Speaker 4: Well, I think I'd rather date a girl that burns
• 4:30
Speaker 4: everything she attempts to cook, because at least she's trying
• 4:32
Speaker 4: to cook something, you know, And I think.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Such a good answers, such a good I'm just going
• 4:41
Speaker 1: to tell you I already told your mother, So I'm
• 4:44
Speaker 1: just gonna get silly here for a second and sappy.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: You know, you are a wonderful guy in my opinion,
• 4:49
Speaker 1: and I could be your mom, almost your grandmother, but
• 4:52
Speaker 1: let's call let's go with mom. And I told your mother.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Behind every you said this earlier, Brian, behind every good
• 4:59
Speaker 1: man is a woman. But guess what when you find
• 5:03
Speaker 1: a good young man like this guy, it didn't happen
• 5:06
Speaker 1: by magic. It's because you have great parents.
• 5:08
  Speaker 2: I totally agree.
• 5:09
Speaker 4: I credit everything in my life to my parents. I mean,
• 5:11
Speaker 4: they raised me so well and I couldn't ask for
• 5:14
Speaker 4: better parents. Everything I have, everything I know, is a
• 5:17
  Speaker 4: credit to them.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: Have you ever had your heart broken?
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: Oh? Surprisingly?
• 5:23
  Speaker 4: I mean I've I've had difficult situations in a relationship,
• 5:26
Speaker 4: but I've never been broken up with.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: Surprisingly, Yeah, you've never been broken up with?
• 5:31
  Speaker 2: Broken up?
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: Damn?
• 5:32
Speaker 3: So then you didn't have any red flags going into
• 5:34
Speaker 3: this you weren't concerned of.
• 5:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I guess I felt the control. But
• 5:41
Speaker 4: I just think in every relationship at least i've been in.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: Is okay, how mad you break up with right now?
• 5:47
Speaker 2: In my life? Probably four? Oh yeah, I really I haven't.
• 5:50
Speaker 4: Been in a lot of relationships in my life, and
• 5:52
Speaker 4: it's just because my ideologies.
• 5:53
Speaker 2: I I date to Mary, you know, and.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: Every girl you date you date to Mary.
• 5:58
  Speaker 4: Well, I wouldn't be in a relation if I didn't
• 6:00
Speaker 4: think of own potential future spouse. I mean, that's the thing.
• 6:04
Speaker 4: Is like, I don't just go date a round just
• 6:05
Speaker 4: for fun. I do it for seriousness.
• 6:07
Speaker 1: Okay, so wait, you are twenty two years old. You
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: are incredibly handsome.
• 6:11
  Speaker 4: Thank you.
• 6:12
Speaker 1: What characteristics do you embody? Forget that you've never been
• 6:16
Speaker 1: broken up with. What characteristics do you embody that you
• 6:21
Speaker 1: think would make you a good husband.
• 6:23
Speaker 4: I would say leading the relationship, being the rock my
• 6:27
Speaker 4: wife can always lean on my children in the future.
• 6:30
Speaker 4: I think if a man is able to handle everything
• 6:33
Speaker 4: and his wife can be his biggest supporter. I'm full
• 6:35
Speaker 4: belief that behind every good man is a good woman,
• 6:38
Speaker 4: and I fully believe that. But I also think in
• 6:40
Speaker 4: every good family, there's a good man that leads the
• 6:43
  Speaker 4: entire house.
• 6:43
Speaker 3: Wow, are you ever concerned that because you always dated
• 6:49
Speaker 3: for marriage, that you didn't necessarily experience everything and you
• 6:55
Speaker 3: may get into something and then later on down the
• 6:57
Speaker 3: line feel like I missed out on on life or
• 7:01
Speaker 3: any of that, or do you think so?
• 7:02
Speaker 4: I mean, I think at least the way I was raised,
• 7:04
  Speaker 4: I mean, I came from a Christian background and I'm
• 7:07
Speaker 4: a man of faith. So I think I've never been
• 7:09
Speaker 4: the one to go, like, want to hook up with
• 7:11
Speaker 4: a bunch of people or go out to a bunch
• 7:13
Speaker 4: of bars and stuff like that. It's not me, and
• 7:14
Speaker 4: so I've never had the curiosity to go and do it.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: How important is it to you to date a woman
• 7:22
Speaker 1: of faith or marry a woman?
• 7:23
Speaker 2: Examely important. That's what I said going into this whole show.
• 7:26
Speaker 4: I said, Hey, that's like check list number one, and
• 7:29
Speaker 4: if they're not a woman of faith, they can go home.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: Did you literally on your show, I'm just a little
• 7:34
Speaker 1: teaser here. Did you ask that.
• 7:36
Speaker 4: Question all the time to every girl that was on
• 7:38
Speaker 4: the farm? Wow, that was one of the first ones
• 7:42
Speaker 4: I asked each of them.
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: Wow, that's well, I got to say, you're a man
• 7:46
Speaker 1: that stands by your faith and that's to be respected.
• 7:48
  Speaker 2: Thank you.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. What was the hardest part of this
• 7:51
Speaker 1: journey for you to navigate? Because you know on my
• 7:54
Speaker 1: show there were some tough times. What was the hardest
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: part for you?
• 7:56
Speaker 4: I would say for me, it was although I like,
• 7:59
Speaker 4: I know you the girl I was going to choose,
• 8:01
Speaker 4: I just think it's never a good feeling to break
• 8:04
Speaker 4: somebody's heart. So, I mean, when we were at the
• 8:07
Speaker 4: mixer at the first episode, I knew which girls I
• 8:10
Speaker 4: was going to bring back to the farm, and the
• 8:12
Speaker 4: toughest part was sending the girls home and not bringing
• 8:15
Speaker 4: them back to the farm because I knew which ones
• 8:18
Speaker 4: I was going to bring back, And I think it
• 8:20
Speaker 4: was just tough to sit there and break their heart
• 8:22
Speaker 4: as they're standing there looking.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: I can only imagine. And yet you have to let
• 8:26
Speaker 1: some go to move forward in your journey.
• 8:29
Speaker 2: That's how the process works.
• 8:30
Speaker 1: Right, And I'm assuming you believe in the process.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: Leaving the process. Wow, especially in the first episode, I mean,
• 8:39
Speaker 4: we're all sitting there in the barn, and just the
• 8:41
Speaker 4: layout of it is so incredibly tough, Like all nine
• 8:43
Speaker 4: girls are sitting up there and you call each one
• 8:45
  Speaker 4: out by name.
• 8:46
Speaker 2: It's kind of like a dodgeball game.
• 8:47
Speaker 4: And you sit there and call them out and the
• 8:48
Speaker 4: girls that you don't pick are still standing there looking
• 8:50
Speaker 4: at you, and you can just.
• 8:51
Speaker 2: See their heart crushed. And it's just not a good feeling.
• 8:53
Speaker 4: Yeah, And they put themselves out there, and I kind
• 8:56
Speaker 4: of put them myself in their shoes and just like,
• 8:58
Speaker 4: it's got to be a bad feeling to guess be
• 9:00
  Speaker 4: sent home.
• 9:00
Speaker 3: And yet it's part of it, it's part of it's
• 9:04
Speaker 3: double edged. Yeah, this is the way some guys.
• 9:08
Speaker 1: Forced to make this choice.
• 9:10
Speaker 3: And it's not personal, it's this is a very specific situation.
• 9:16
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 9:22
Speaker 1: M So it's coffee and Brian, we're back here. That's me, Brian,
• 9:29
Speaker 1: it's you, Brian. It is absolutely you haven't changed a bit.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: I have not. We are back with another farmer, and
• 9:34
Speaker 1: this time we have farmer Braidon with us. Hi, Braiden,
• 9:37
Speaker 1: how's going it's going great. We're so glad to have
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: you here.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: It's going great. Look at I show it up today
• 9:41
Speaker 3: and now I have, like, you know, a nice hat on.
• 9:44
Speaker 3: We have our cowboy. I'm straight cowboy. I came with
• 9:49
Speaker 3: my boots. Where are yours?
• 9:51
Speaker 1: I these are my boots? Yeah?
• 9:53
Speaker 3: Well yeah, sneakers on a farm not there, made by Vans.
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: It's a it's a whole new thing. Okay, Well two
• 9:59
Speaker 1: of the three of us have on. But so we
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: know who's really a firmer here and who isn't. I
• 10:02
Speaker 1: don't like your attitude. Okay, I'm sorry, So let's move
• 10:05
Speaker 1: just let's just jump in here. Okay. Question for you?
• 10:10
Speaker 1: What really made you want to take a leap of
• 10:12
Speaker 1: faith and go on this show? Because there's a lot
• 10:14
Speaker 1: of dating shows out there you could have chosen. You're
• 10:17
Speaker 1: a handsome young dude, you could have chosen any of them.
• 10:19
Speaker 1: What made you want to do this?
• 10:21
Speaker 5: I mean, so I wasn't real familiar with the reality
• 10:25
Speaker 5: TV world before this, if I'm being honest, and you know,
• 10:29
Speaker 5: they kind of reached out, kind of fell in my lap,
• 10:31
Speaker 5: and you know, I didn't know what to expect at first,
• 10:33
Speaker 5: and honestly, I thought it was fake at first.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: I was going to say, did you think it was
• 10:37
Speaker 1: a prank or something?
• 10:38
  Speaker 2: Ye all?
• 10:39
Speaker 5: And I showed a couple of my buddies and I
• 10:41
Speaker 5: was like, this is funny, and they're like, well, you're
• 10:43
Speaker 5: gonna do it. I was like, no, no, no, nobody's.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: You said. You said in Santa Claus is coming.
• 10:51
Speaker 5: Over next Yeah, And so then they finally they're just like,
• 10:54
Speaker 5: well just answer it. And answered it and they're like, dude,
• 10:58
Speaker 5: just take a phone call, just see what they say.
• 11:00
Speaker 5: And then took a phone call and now I'm here.
• 11:03
Speaker 6: So here you are?
• 11:04
Speaker 1: You are season four.
• 11:06
Speaker 6: Of answer your question.
• 11:09
Speaker 5: Honestly, I started running out of reasons not to do
• 11:12
Speaker 5: it because I was kind of like almost trying to
• 11:14
Speaker 5: talk myself out of it, just because it's a crazy thing.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: Had you been single a long time?
• 11:20
Speaker 5: Uh? Yeah, I had a brief relationship a little bit
• 11:24
Speaker 5: before the show, but that was about it.
• 11:26
Speaker 3: How did they how did they know? Do you think
• 11:28
Speaker 3: that the producers of this to even reach out to
• 11:30
Speaker 3: you in the first time? How did they know your
• 11:33
Speaker 3: story and know that you were single and know that
• 11:35
  Speaker 3: you were looking.
• 11:36
Speaker 6: For Well, they asked me, they asked me like, are
• 11:38
  Speaker 6: you single.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: I'm not a producer, but I'm going to go with
• 11:42
Speaker 1: the obvious answer. Here. He's a damn good looking guy,
• 11:46
Speaker 1: so let's just see if they need.
• 11:48
Speaker 3: Too for sure, But I would assume then that he
• 11:50
Speaker 3: was in something, but he was already to ask you, I.
• 11:54
Speaker 1: Ask are you in a relationship? Damn? Okay, I'm happily engaged.
• 12:00
Speaker 5: So they don't want you for season five A possibility.
• 12:04
Speaker 1: Not as yet. Okay, that's not that I'm not a farmer.
• 12:07
Speaker 3: So that's female completely outside the box and what they're looking.
• 12:12
Speaker 3: So now you're a fifth generation, right, has there has
• 12:16
Speaker 3: there any been a part ever been a part of
• 12:19
Speaker 3: you that is, like, I don't want to be in
• 12:21
Speaker 3: the family business. I don't want to do this. I
• 12:22
Speaker 3: want to like rebel and do my own thing, and
• 12:25
Speaker 3: I have all these other ideas or has farming just that.
• 12:28
Speaker 5: Was honestly no, I mean, like the cliche like it's
• 12:31
Speaker 5: in your blood, you know what I mean? And like
• 12:33
Speaker 5: I I grew up kind of idolizing my grandpa and
• 12:37
Speaker 5: idolizing my dad, and I just grew up wanting to be.
• 12:40
Speaker 1: Just like your grandpa A lot a lot they all live.
• 12:44
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I spent probably every Sunday with my grandpa
• 12:48
Speaker 5: growing up, every weekend. Yeah, so he he kind of
• 12:50
Speaker 5: molded me. My mom says, good. And helping him on
• 12:53
Speaker 5: the farm, is that, yeah, helping him on the farm
• 12:55
Speaker 5: or just getting in trouble doing whatever.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: So I'm thinking a little more getting in trouble here.
• 12:59
Speaker 5: Teach me all the good things and some of the
• 13:02
Speaker 5: bad times. You know, that's called life.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: So I we just met today. I've thoroughly impressed with you.
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: I think you're a great guy. I love music, and
• 13:13
Speaker 1: I understand that you love music as well I do.
• 13:18
Speaker 1: So do you want to find a woman who's musically
• 13:21
Speaker 1: inclined or do you not like to take people who
• 13:24
Speaker 1: are similar to you? Because I'm going to tell you
• 13:26
Speaker 1: I love music and in dating, if a guy says
• 13:29
Speaker 1: to me he doesn't like music.
• 13:32
Speaker 3: Well that's a weird thing for somebody to say, I
• 13:34
Speaker 3: don't like Well say that one, I don't really like music.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: It's like, what do you know? You only have a
• 13:43
Speaker 1: few senses to use all of them? How's your sense
• 13:47
Speaker 1: of smell? I'm saying. Then, I love to listen to music.
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: If I'm whatever I'm doing, if I'm out walking, I've
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: got a button, I'm listening, I've got playlists. I love
• 13:58
Speaker 1: to listen to music. What do you think about that?
• 14:01
  Speaker 2: Like?
• 14:01
Speaker 1: It's it important to you? How how simpatico? There's a
• 14:05
Speaker 1: word for I mean, do you have to be.
• 14:07
  Speaker 5: I don't think it's a complete deal break. I mean,
• 14:10
Speaker 5: if she says she doesn't like music, I think there's
• 14:12
Speaker 5: something else going on other than just not like music.
• 14:16
Speaker 5: But like, no, I do love music, you know. I
• 14:19
Speaker 5: love playing music. I write music when I'm not farming.
• 14:22
  Speaker 6: That's kind of.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: My world outside of farm, a hidden desire to be
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: a singer songwriter.
• 14:28
Speaker 5: Not like I'll say this, I'll never be able to
• 14:32
Speaker 5: like totally give up the farm, Like that's just something
• 14:34
Speaker 5: I don't think I could ever do, and like, no
• 14:36
Speaker 5: matter where life would take me, like I would always
• 14:39
Speaker 5: come back to it.
• 14:40
Speaker 6: And it's such a family thing.
• 14:42
Speaker 5: So I feel like leaving the farm would feel like
• 14:44
Speaker 5: I'm kind of turning away from my family in a sense.
• 14:47
Speaker 5: But am I Like Dad, who I work with on
• 14:51
Speaker 5: the farm, Like he's never forced it on me. He's like,
• 14:53
Speaker 5: you can go do whatever you want, Like, don't ever
• 14:55
Speaker 5: feel like you're chaining this farm.
• 14:57
Speaker 6: But you know, the songwriting is something very.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: Have you produced any music that's like are you? Are
• 15:03
Speaker 1: you on your way to Nashville when we finished this.
• 15:06
Speaker 5: I've been in Nashville a little bit, you know, and
• 15:08
Speaker 5: I got friends down there, and I haven't put out
• 15:11
Speaker 5: any music on my own, just because I've never claimed
• 15:14
Speaker 5: to be too much of like a great singer. I
• 15:17
Speaker 5: make the joke good enough for drunk people. Okay, the
• 15:21
Speaker 5: more you drink about sound, but no, I play like
• 15:26
Speaker 5: every dive bar and rule Illinois.
• 15:29
Speaker 3: But I have to imagine this like that working out
• 15:32
Speaker 3: on the farm is I And I always talk about
• 15:36
Speaker 3: this with like meditation that for me, meditating is doing
• 15:39
Speaker 3: like di I y and and gardening and things like that.
• 15:42
Speaker 3: I would have to imagine that being out on the
• 15:45
Speaker 3: farm by yourself for a lot of the time, being
• 15:48
Speaker 3: creative and using music as an outlet, is that they
• 15:51
Speaker 3: go hand in hand because so many musicians and artists
• 15:55
Speaker 3: come from that that life.
• 15:57
Speaker 5: Absolutely, I mean like that's where a lot of the
• 16:00
Speaker 5: song ideas come from. Like when you're just this is
• 16:03
Speaker 5: gonna sound like the most like country cliche thing I've
• 16:06
Speaker 5: ever said, But like when I'm on the tractor like
• 16:08
Speaker 5: working ground or something like that, like some just kind
• 16:11
Speaker 5: of pops in your head and you're just, oh, you
• 16:13
Speaker 5: got nothing but time to think.
• 16:15
Speaker 3: You know, when you have nobody distracting you, you don't
• 16:17
Speaker 3: have conversations going on with somebody else, and that's when.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: You when you on the tractor and you and some
• 16:23
Speaker 1: idea comes to you and is it a theme? Is
• 16:25
Speaker 1: it words? Is it a is it a series of chords?
• 16:28
Speaker 5: What comes to It's always like when you know I'm
• 16:31
Speaker 5: not around my guitar or anything, it's always like like
• 16:34
  Speaker 5: a line or a.
• 16:35
Speaker 3: Phrase, like like you never know.
• 16:38
Speaker 5: Yeah, So I'm just like usually it's like just an
• 16:40
Speaker 5: idea or a phrase.
• 16:41
Speaker 3: I'm like, I do yeah, really music, give me a
• 16:46
  Speaker 3: c see.
• 16:47
Speaker 6: I don't know music, so like if you put music like,
• 16:51
  Speaker 6: I can't read.
• 16:52
Speaker 1: So wait when you come off the tractor and and
• 16:55
Speaker 1: you as well, Brian, do you guys like write down?
• 16:58
Speaker 1: I don't even know what it's called. Do you train? Subscribe?
• 17:00
Speaker 3: But it depends, so I'm sure for you because you
• 17:03
Speaker 3: play guitar, you pick up a guitar and then you
• 17:05
Speaker 3: start working out the.
• 17:06
Speaker 1: Melody of what you heard in your head and do it.
• 17:08
Speaker 3: It's you kind of find whatever tool you can to
• 17:13
Speaker 3: immortalize what it is you were thinking. Because those ideas
• 17:17
Speaker 3: they go as fast as they come, so don't put
• 17:20
Speaker 3: them down right away. Nine times out of ten they're
• 17:23
Speaker 3: gone and you wake up the next day and you
• 17:25
  Speaker 3: kick yourself.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: You're like, oh, so, such a good idea. That's why they.
• 17:28
Speaker 3: Keep a notebook and a pen phone, Like I just
• 17:32
Speaker 3: put it in app Yeah, phones, man, like having the
• 17:35
Speaker 3: voice recorder and the phone.
• 17:36
Speaker 1: Like, I want to know meeting us, do you feel
• 17:39
Speaker 1: like the urge to write a song about meeting us,
• 17:42
Speaker 1: about hating this experience.
• 17:43
Speaker 6: I'm going after this right for sure?
• 17:48
Speaker 1: You and I to be famous.
• 17:49
Speaker 3: We're gonna be were We're the ones that get forced
• 17:53
Speaker 3: yeah person into that like that song about how much he.
• 17:56
Speaker 6: Hates No, I'm loving this.
• 17:59
  Speaker 2: I'm loving that.
• 18:10
Speaker 3: If you're dating a woman she makes you a playlist
• 18:12
Speaker 3: of her favorite songs, are you judge your music choices
• 18:15
Speaker 3: or are you embracing whatever music she likes?
• 18:18
Speaker 5: So the honest answer is yeah, I'm probably judging a lot.
• 18:22
Speaker 5: It's like, you know, I'm you know, I kind of
• 18:25
Speaker 5: nerd out about music, you know, I want to know
• 18:27
Speaker 5: like who wrote the song, like how how they wrote it,
• 18:30
Speaker 5: what's the story behind? And I'm pretty like anymore. This
• 18:35
Speaker 5: is kind of the controversial thing is like I can't
• 18:38
Speaker 5: stand listening to like country radio.
• 18:41
Speaker 3: I just I really because a fan of like of
• 18:45
  Speaker 3: old country compared.
• 18:47
Speaker 5: To yeah and just like kind of like the singer
• 18:50
  Speaker 5: songwriter stuff, like.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: Just like who is your favorite man? That's give me
• 18:54
Speaker 1: the top what's your favorite genre?
• 18:57
Speaker 6: That country? I can't really can.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: I interrupt here? He said he loves country. Country is
• 19:04
Speaker 1: a genre. Then I said who your top three? And
• 19:08
Speaker 1: you said what's your favorite genre? So that's pete and repeat,
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: thank you.
• 19:14
Speaker 5: I mean that's so hard. You know, I grew up
• 19:17
Speaker 5: on a lot of Alan Jackson. Oh yeah, and uh,
• 19:21
  Speaker 5: but like.
• 19:23
Speaker 6: Like Dean Dylan probably never heard that name.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: I've never heard that name, and I.
• 19:27
Speaker 5: Like every George Straight hit you can think, you know
• 19:30
Speaker 5: what I mean? Like, and that's just like what I
• 19:32
Speaker 5: kind of nerd out that because I'm just like, nobody
• 19:35
Speaker 5: knows who this guy is and he's written every song
• 19:38
Speaker 5: in all of your favorite songs.
• 19:39
Speaker 1: What do you think of the new like the country?
• 19:43
Speaker 1: How do I say this pop country that's so prevalent today?
• 19:46
  Speaker 5: This is what I say, Like, I I don't mind
• 19:49
Speaker 5: a lot of it, but when I'm listening to somebody
• 19:51
Speaker 5: like this is my biggest thing if I like believe it,
• 19:54
Speaker 5: Like if I believe what you're saying, even if it's
• 19:56
Speaker 5: like that poppy stuff like if I believe it then
• 20:00
Speaker 5: if it like it's a feeling. But if it's if
• 20:03
Speaker 5: I just see you know whoever like singing this song
• 20:06
Speaker 5: and I can tell they're kind of like playing this
• 20:08
Speaker 5: act like that's just kind of what turns me, turns
• 20:11
Speaker 5: me off to it.
• 20:12
Speaker 1: This is a true country music man here. It's like,
• 20:14
  Speaker 1: I'm I love my I mean, you know, I've got
• 20:17
Speaker 1: my country music literally all the time going. But I
• 20:20
Speaker 1: like the pop country I do too.
• 20:23
Speaker 6: I mean I like some of it, and like.
• 20:25
Speaker 3: Music is a tough one, like for me, I know,
• 20:27
Speaker 3: whenever I hear music where you can tell that it's
• 20:30
Speaker 3: been produced for like perfection, then it loses the emotion
• 20:35
Speaker 3: that's tied to it, and then I don't like it
• 20:37
Speaker 3: as much because to me, music invokes emotion. That's the
• 20:41
Speaker 3: beauty of it. I grew up, I grew up in it.
• 20:43
Speaker 3: My dad is a he was a country drummer. He
• 20:46
Speaker 3: was turning off Glenn Campbell. That's so awesome for Campbell,
• 20:49
Speaker 3: Glenn Campbell, Rhinestone cowboy kidding So my dad, Okay, my
• 20:53
Speaker 3: dad played drums on that.
• 20:55
Speaker 6: That is so cool. That is so cool.
• 20:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, I hadn't thought about it, but I do
• 21:00
Speaker 1: know there's some music purists who don't like exactly describing
• 21:05
  Speaker 1: what you're saying.
• 21:06
Speaker 5: And like I said, I do like you know, I
• 21:08
Speaker 5: like Morgan Law and like I like that. I was
• 21:10
Speaker 5: going to ask you, yeah, And it's just like sometimes
• 21:13
Speaker 5: I don't know if this is like me being bitter
• 21:16
Speaker 5: or like being a songwriter, but like sometimes you hear
• 21:19
Speaker 5: a song on the radio and you're like, I could
• 21:22
Speaker 5: write this in five minutes, you know what I mean?
• 21:24
Speaker 5: Like this guy's making millions of dollars.
• 21:26
Speaker 1: Like okay, So, speaking of being retired and moving back
• 21:30
Speaker 1: to farming, I have one question that I still want
• 21:32
Speaker 1: to ask you going through this experience of being on
• 21:35
Speaker 1: the Farmer Wants a Wife and how to have its
• 21:38
Speaker 1: ups and downs. You're a positive guy, you you know,
• 21:40
Speaker 1: you seem to have a good vibe about you. What
• 21:44
Speaker 1: did you lean on to get you through the difficult
• 21:47
Speaker 1: decisions during the show, because I know that they were
• 21:53
Speaker 1: it had to be tough. You have lovely women. That's
• 21:55
Speaker 1: got to be tough to let people go. Who what
• 21:57
Speaker 1: how did you get through it? Well?
• 21:59
Speaker 5: That was the hard and that never like just sending
• 22:03
Speaker 5: somebody home just felt horrible.
• 22:06
  Speaker 2: It just.
• 22:08
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean, like it's because sometimes like with
• 22:12
Speaker 5: this world is like you got to send some people home,
• 22:16
Speaker 5: like especially early on, that don't really deserve it, you
• 22:19
Speaker 5: know what I mean, Like it's you don't really have
• 22:21
Speaker 5: a reason to send them home sometimes just it's just
• 22:25
Speaker 5: kind of like what you have to do this kind
• 22:27
Speaker 5: of name of the game. And so that was really tough.
• 22:30
Speaker 1: And did you used to send people? And if you,
• 22:33
  Speaker 1: assuming you.
• 22:33
Speaker 5: Did, honestly, well, they wouldn't let me keep everybody.
• 22:41
  Speaker 3: He was like.
• 22:46
Speaker 5: The quick you know, I mean, like honestly, like when
• 22:50
Speaker 5: it got down, so it became super real for me.
• 22:55
Speaker 5: And that's like something that I wasn't really expecting. But honestly,
• 23:00
Speaker 5: again as cliche as it sounds, is like you really
• 23:02
Speaker 5: just got to like trust your gut and like follow
• 23:05
Speaker 5: your heart, and like, you know, I just was always
• 23:09
Speaker 5: thinking about like who am I thinking about right now?
• 23:11
  Speaker 6: Like who's like whom I.
• 23:13
Speaker 5: Think when I'm not like around them, and like who's
• 23:17
Speaker 5: sticking out to me.
• 23:18
Speaker 1: At the end of the day, Like you'd go to
• 23:19
Speaker 1: bed whom I thinking, right, Wow.
• 23:22
Speaker 3: Wake up in the morning, you can't wait to see
• 23:24
Speaker 3: somebody or you get there. Yeah, I can only imagine yeah.
• 23:28
Speaker 1: I could trust me. I really can only imagine.
• 23:32
Speaker 3: It seems like you would start having those moments that's
• 23:35
Speaker 3: got to be really, really scary.
• 23:39
Speaker 1: And then also really exciting at the same time. It's
• 23:42
Speaker 1: like a push and pull because you hate to send
• 23:44
Speaker 1: people home, but the same time, sending people home is
• 23:48
Speaker 1: getting you to closer, too closer to the goal of finding,
• 23:52
Speaker 1: hopefully finding your person.
• 23:53
Speaker 5: One thing I was kind of guilty of, and you
• 23:55
Speaker 5: know talking with other guys is like it's easy to
• 23:58
Speaker 5: get this way is sometimes you're you're just constantly thinking
• 24:02
Speaker 5: about like who you're going to send home because it's
• 24:04
Speaker 5: like such a hard decision, so you.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: Get you want to get it over with.
• 24:07
Speaker 5: You get hung up on that instead of like thinking
• 24:09
Speaker 5: about like you know, oh, like it's her, like yeah,
• 24:17
Speaker 5: you know, so, yeah, there's a lot going.
• 24:20
  Speaker 3: On that's unbelievable. I can't imagine. I mean, I'm being honest.
• 24:25
Speaker 1: I was not the chosen one on my show, and
• 24:29
Speaker 1: so I didn't have to do what you had to
• 24:32
Speaker 1: do as a lead. Yeah, because I wasn't one. But
• 24:35
Speaker 1: I think that's got to be really tough to look
• 24:38
Speaker 1: at people who are potentially theoretically they've been vetted they're
• 24:42
Speaker 1: all lovely human beings and you to say bye bye.
• 24:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, what's amazing is you watch the show and you think,
• 24:50
Speaker 3: oh my god, how are like, how are these women
• 24:51
Speaker 3: so especially episode one, how are they already so committed
• 24:56
Speaker 3: and in this? But you forget You don't think about
• 25:00
Speaker 3: what it's like to be on the other side of that,
• 25:01
Speaker 3: having to choose people and knowing that you're going to
• 25:04
  Speaker 3: hurt people's feelings.
• 25:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, can I tell you what I've been thinking?
• 25:07
Speaker 1: How lucky Brian you and I are to have met
• 25:10
Speaker 1: today than an amazing you are an amazing guy. We
• 25:13
Speaker 1: wish you all the best.
• 25:15
  Speaker 6: I appreciate.
• 25:15
Speaker 1: We hope your season is everything you want it to be,
• 25:18
Speaker 1: and that you find the beautiful, lovely, incredible woman so
• 25:22
Speaker 1: that the farmer has found his wife after We're all
• 25:24
  Speaker 1: hope
• 25:25
Speaker 3: Everyone be sure to tune into the new season A
• 25:27
Speaker 3: Farmer Wants a Wife on Tuesday, April twenty first, at
• 25:30
Speaker 3: eight seventh Central on Fox.
