- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah, poo poo bum bums want a great excuse.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Poo pooh bum bum. It's not It's not great, but
- 2:08Speaker 3: at least we've got a new nickname out of it.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it is good and you're mad bastard. I
- 2:13Speaker 1: also like the way that Hodak is just going all
- 2:14Speaker 1: in on the Drive show. Now it's just going to
- 2:16Speaker 1: be Jerry solo on Breakfast Year and four People and
- 2:19Speaker 1: a producer on drive, which I think is just miss
- 2:21Speaker 1: you will come over to the yah.
- 2:22Speaker 3: That's right, Yeah, all right.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Okay, okay, then you're right.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah everyone, Okay, someone's just tix M three four eight three,
- 2:31Speaker 3: Daddy Coos, question Mark he Curate.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Here's Blake when I two all the small things, your
- 2:38Speaker 1: mad bastard, the.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Keys indeed the Kings of Lyon. You're mad bustards. You
- 2:48Speaker 1: listen to the Big Show with Minogio, You got Keysy there,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I'm witty j.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Really good, I think so for the listeners at home,
- 2:57Speaker 3: we've just done a bit of a rejig, haven't we
- 2:59Speaker 3: here at the station and now Matt Heath Daddy Couz
- 3:04Speaker 3: was joining us full full time in the place of
- 3:07Speaker 3: Jason Hoyt.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And a full but just always impersonating Jason's moving to
- 3:13Speaker 1: the Breakfast show to impersonate me. Look, it's harder to
- 3:16Speaker 1: impersonate me than Jason impersonate. Yeah, it's an interesting play. Well,
- 3:26Speaker 1: it's good that you're here, Heath slash Hoidy because I
- 3:29Speaker 1: need some relationship advice. This is a regular thing that
- 3:32Speaker 1: happens on our show I reach Out and Hody J
- 3:34Speaker 1: and Mogi and also the listeners on three four eight three.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They give me guidance because okay, I'm new to all this.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Ye and your relationships, guy, so you be.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Able to help with us because you've been married.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been there. Yeah, yeah, exactly, so there's a
- 3:46Speaker 1: great perspective.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So I've had some experience in that realm. Currently not right,
- 3:51Speaker 1: but it doesn't I mean, are you looking to be
- 3:53Speaker 1: managed out of a relationship? No, well here's what I
- 3:56Speaker 1: maybe don't ask me. Here's what I'm looking for. Right,
- 3:58Speaker 1: So first of all, straight off the bat, let me
- 4:00Speaker 1: just say love my wife. Oh no, that's oh that's terrible.
- 4:04Speaker 1: The best thing that never happened to me. I love
- 4:06Speaker 1: it so much. Okay, this is a bad one. But
- 4:11Speaker 1: there's this weird thing in our kitchen called a dishwasher.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Anymore, men, No, we've got it. Back in the day,
- 4:18Speaker 3: you could say that, but we've been telling you, man,
- 4:21Speaker 3: you can't. You can't say that sort of stuff anywhere. Okay,
- 4:24Speaker 3: now she's got a name and you have to refer.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Sorry, can I say there is an appliance in my kitchen? No,
- 4:34Speaker 1: she's a human being. Guys. There is an electrical appliance
- 4:39Speaker 1: in my kitchen tucked under the bench there with a
- 4:43Speaker 1: big flap that you pull down inside. Guys. Okay, anyway,
- 4:48Speaker 1: it's a real bone of contention in my house because yes,
- 4:51Speaker 1: well I love my wife, which is fantastic, the best
- 4:53Speaker 1: thing that ever happened to me. After she's used a
- 4:54Speaker 1: bowl or a mug or something, she just puts it
- 4:56Speaker 1: on top of the bench with a dishwasher right underneath
- 4:58Speaker 1: and never puts them in. So I going behind her
- 5:01Speaker 1: and do all that is there. Any way I can
- 5:03Speaker 1: bring it up to make her start doing this because
- 5:06Speaker 1: at the same time she always say, yeah, there's a
- 5:08Speaker 1: lot of stuff you do that annoys me, but I
- 5:09Speaker 1: don't say anything, right, How do you tackle that? Or
- 5:11Speaker 1: do I give up and accept that for the rest
- 5:13Speaker 1: of my life I will have to put a dish
- 5:14Speaker 1: as away. Well, I guess there's in multiple ways you
- 5:16Speaker 1: can go in hot going you filthy, pig, disgusting, you
- 5:20Speaker 1: should be ashamed of yourself. That's one way you're going. Okay,
- 5:23Speaker 1: try that one night, Try that tonight, okay? Is that
- 5:25Speaker 1: what you okay? Or you could go and passive aggressive keysing?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Is that the only two ways you could go over
- 5:29Speaker 1: and go, oh, shall I just shall I just get
- 5:32Speaker 1: your dish here?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Okay?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Shall I put it in the dish washer? Shall I?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Is that what you want me to do it? Okay,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'll just do it. That's a good man Heats perspective. Okay,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm starting to figure a lot of things out about you.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm pretty much the only two. So you can
- 5:48Speaker 3: you can either be aggressive or passive aggressive. That's one
- 5:53Speaker 3: of the other things you could do is because what
- 5:55Speaker 3: she said to you there is Oh, there's plenty of
- 5:57Speaker 3: things that annoy me about you that I don't mention. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 3: but there will be plenty of things about her that
- 6:02Speaker 3: annoy you that you don't mention it. But this doesn't
- 6:05Speaker 3: fall into that category because you've mentioned it.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:08Speaker 3: This annoys you so much that it's now no longer
- 6:10Speaker 3: in that I'm not going to mention it because it's
- 6:12Speaker 3: not worth mentioning it, and now has moved into that
- 6:14Speaker 3: it annoys me so much to mention it. It's worse.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It's upgraded to it. I'm going to mention it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Okay, So could it could it be a trade off?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Do I say, right, one thing right now that annoys
- 6:24Speaker 1: you that I do, tell me and I'll address that
- 6:26Speaker 1: in return, you'll address this.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Is it?
- 6:28Speaker 1: That? Is that a deal you can strike?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Yeah? I think you've got to go for something here.
- 6:32Speaker 3: There will be a bit of horse trading involved as well,
- 6:34Speaker 3: and probably what will happen is you'll probably have to
- 6:36Speaker 3: trade six or seven things that annoy that annoy her
- 6:38Speaker 3: about you for the one thing, right, okay, So what
- 6:41Speaker 3: have we got? What do you reckon? Is going to
- 6:42Speaker 3: be on that list?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Doing the big show? That's pretty annoying. It's massively annoying
- 6:48Speaker 1: time of the day. Actually, I don't rinse my dishes
- 6:50Speaker 1: before I put them in because I watched an ad
- 6:52Speaker 1: saying you don't need to if you buy these special tablets.
- 6:56Speaker 1: That is so untrue. Yeah, right, okay mate, you want
- 6:59Speaker 1: to be your get in, you have to get in
- 7:00Speaker 1: there with your fingers after a while. And have you
- 7:02Speaker 1: ever try to clean the dishwasher when the bloody pipes
- 7:04Speaker 1: get bloody blocked? No?
- 7:07Speaker 3: He said. I was talking to Kezy about that as
- 7:09Speaker 3: well the last time we talked about dishwashers, and he
- 7:12Speaker 3: said that he doesn't do that because it's woman's work,
- 7:15Speaker 3: and I was just like, that's not on man, you
- 7:18Speaker 3: can't say.
- 7:18Speaker 1: That that's sixy. I'm a sixist. It's a sixy and sexist.
- 7:24Speaker 3: It's hot.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You're the sixty sixest. Yeah, thanks, thanks guys. So I'm
- 7:28Speaker 1: probably just gonna I'm probably gonna go for the aggressive
- 7:31Speaker 1: a pro help. Any of that helped. It helped a lot, Matt,
- 7:35Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, you're back. Bonus, here's a bit of
- 7:38Speaker 1: r em for you on the.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Big Show, The Darkey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike
- 7:43Speaker 2: Minogue and Kesey.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's indeed, that's Jet at twenty three past four on
- 7:49Speaker 1: the Big Show with Mogi Keyzy and the Coups. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 1: so good what he Jay's got peey bum saw tummy.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got a Yaki Yaki tom poey pooy bum bum.
- 8:01Speaker 3: That's so he's going to have to take some time off.
- 8:03Speaker 3: But we're just testing this out, shaking things up. We
- 8:06Speaker 3: always wanted to do a crossover with Breakfast, and we
- 8:08Speaker 3: thought we'd do that by a sort of mix and
- 8:10Speaker 3: match and all the on your talent. If we can
- 8:13Speaker 3: call it that, you can call me that. Yeah, and
- 8:15Speaker 3: so yeah, we're giving it a run today, So a
- 8:18Speaker 3: text us through on three four eight three and just
- 8:20Speaker 3: how us useful knows is it working for you? Having
- 8:22Speaker 3: old the coups here in Houghdy j.
- 8:26Speaker 1: C having a front bone on the backbone, in the
- 8:28Speaker 1: front bone and with the backboners. I like it. I
- 8:30Speaker 1: love it. Actually going to try a new comboso has
- 8:32Speaker 1: worked well for the warriors. Have you got an injury
- 8:35Speaker 1: situation right now with next man up? You know? And
- 8:38Speaker 1: we've got woman or woman?
- 8:41Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Good, save Maggie. Nice work tomorrow morning. It is Houghdy
- 8:44Speaker 1: Jay and Jerry on the Breakfast show. So text three
- 8:45Speaker 1: three four eight three let us know how that goes
- 8:47Speaker 1: as well. Mog on breakfast. We're doing relationship chats here
- 8:50Speaker 1: while well big Daddy Heath, he's in the studio. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: believe you've got a bit of an issue.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Well, it wasn't an issue so much I went out
- 8:58Speaker 3: for I think it was probably something at a cafe.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Do that with your family, don't you even now? And
- 9:03Speaker 3: again you go to a cafe and spend a couple
- 9:06Speaker 3: of hundi and.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We stop off at the bank and get a mortgage.
- 9:13Speaker 3: And then we were walking back and my daughter, who's five.
- 9:16Speaker 3: She likes to have running races, and she actually cheats.
- 9:20Speaker 3: She's always says I don't want to race, and she
- 9:22Speaker 3: starts running and then says, go, oh, you know, but
- 9:25Speaker 3: I like that. It's a competitive streak anyway, So she
- 9:28Speaker 3: decided it was time to race my wife as opposed
- 9:30Speaker 3: to me, because I always destroy her by about three
- 9:32Speaker 3: lamp posts. And so my wife, she's got to learn, man.
- 9:37Speaker 3: And so my wife took off and then within a
- 9:40Speaker 3: couple of yards she had stood on what was a
- 9:43Speaker 3: long skirt on the front of it, took a couple
- 9:46Speaker 3: of big, ungainly steps and then just foul, well not
- 9:53Speaker 3: flat on her face, but certainly it wasn't a graceful
- 9:56Speaker 3: descent onto the concrete pavement there.
- 10:07Speaker 1: That's such a funny story, Keep telling the story.
- 10:09Speaker 3: And she so she broke her She broke your leg,
- 10:15Speaker 3: did she actually? Yeah, she broke your leg not sort
- 10:18Speaker 3: of just above the just above the ankle there, and
- 10:22Speaker 3: she sort of burst into tears. And what's it called
- 10:26Speaker 3: when the bone stick.
- 10:27Speaker 1: In it compound fracture.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah, So then my daughter saw that and she was
- 10:34Speaker 3: just puking.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Still is that still funny? So did you want did
- 10:41Speaker 1: you want advice around this or you just sort of.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I was just wondering what I should buy it because
- 10:45Speaker 3: she's in she's in hospital, so I just wanted to
- 10:47Speaker 3: get her a nice gift from from you guys.
- 10:49Speaker 1: But get her get her some I don't know, like
- 10:53Speaker 1: a bandage, get her a bend. I think they'll probably
- 10:56Speaker 1: have those at the hospital.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Now.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe what about like a sewing kit so that
- 11:01Speaker 1: she can shorten up her skirts that she doesn't trip
- 11:03Speaker 1: on them again and break it.
- 11:04Speaker 3: That's pretty badly ripped. I had to use it as
- 11:06Speaker 3: a tourniquet.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh like were you and then tightens it up. How
- 11:10Speaker 1: much blood did she lose?
- 11:13Speaker 3: It's hard to tell, but yeah, I had to get
- 11:16Speaker 3: the hose out anyway. But it's all good. I didn't
- 11:18Speaker 3: think it was funny.
- 11:20Speaker 1: How long she in the hospital for? How long she
- 11:22Speaker 1: in hospital for?
- 11:24Speaker 3: Well, they haven't really seen because you can end up
- 11:26Speaker 3: getting them set to see me.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Now that's getting funny again.
- 11:35Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Split Ins there, Wow, she doing split Ins. I got you.
- 11:43Speaker 1: It is the hid Archy Big Show with Keezy and Moggi. Unfortunately,
- 11:46Speaker 1: management has come down and said the Matt Heath, Mogi
- 11:48Speaker 1: and Kezy experiment didn't quite work. A flood of encouraging
- 11:52Speaker 1: takes on three four eight three.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I think they're just scared that we're going to take
- 11:55Speaker 3: down news talks.
- 11:56Speaker 1: He'd be that that was the vibe I was getting
- 11:58Speaker 1: out and unfortunately, Wow, once Hoy J's back from his
- 12:03Speaker 1: sort tummy pooy pant situation, which will probably be tomorrow,
- 12:06Speaker 1: he will be rejoining us and.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Just moving forward. Can we refer to it by its
- 12:09Speaker 3: proper name right, which is Yaki Yaki tum tum puoy
- 12:12Speaker 3: puoy bum bum.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Yaki Yaki tum tum pooh pooh bum bump. Alright, God
- 12:16Speaker 1: sounds terrible, ah, Mike, just before that ad break there, Sorry, Mogi.
- 12:21Speaker 3: God, it was weird.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It was weird. You were telling a story about how
- 12:25Speaker 1: your wife tried to race your daughter. She went to
- 12:27Speaker 1: take off, Yes, and this is your wife stood on
- 12:30Speaker 1: her own skirt and sort of toppled over and then
- 12:33Speaker 1: broke her leg, went to hospital and then got sipped
- 12:36Speaker 1: to see mere.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You then were wondering on three four eight three what
- 12:40Speaker 1: people could like ideas of what gifts you could get
- 12:42Speaker 1: it to make it feel any of these are probably
- 12:45Speaker 1: the two best ones. The first one on three four
- 12:48Speaker 1: eight three Lingerie.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, nice.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Okay, actually I personally was I don't know about that,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but yeah it's a good idea. And then someone else
- 12:56Speaker 1: to say, maybe a second place ribbon because obviously your
- 12:58Speaker 1: daughter won the race.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Right yeah yeah, but then my daughter would want a
- 13:03Speaker 3: first place ribbon. Yeah, but that's why I could do that.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think that's a good idea.
- 13:07Speaker 3: And to be fair, I think I don't think it's
- 13:09Speaker 3: fair to give her a second place ribbon. I think
- 13:12Speaker 3: probably a d n F.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:14Speaker 3: True.
- 13:15Speaker 1: She didn't fit across the finish line. Finish yeah, yah, yeah, true,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and you want to she's.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Got an earn a second place that's podium, that's right. Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: You don't want to start teaching your daughter that you
- 13:22Speaker 1: cannot finish. Yeah, exactly, yeah, exactly. That's good stuff. Keep
- 13:25Speaker 1: those tips coming in on three four eight three, yuh
- 13:27Speaker 1: in the meantime, all right, radio Darkeys Bar and Pie July.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's right, it is officially the third day of July.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And thinks so mates at Dad's Pies, we ever got
- 13:38Speaker 1: a chance for you to win five thousand dollars. Just
- 13:41Speaker 1: text the word pie to three four eight three, follow
- 13:43Speaker 1: the link, fill out the form there and help us
- 13:45Speaker 1: choose a future Hodaki pie. This is a pie that
- 13:48Speaker 1: will genuinely be put into production. Thanks so, mates at
- 13:52Speaker 1: Dad's Pies and once again you could win five thousand dollars.
- 13:54Speaker 1: A lot of suggestions have come.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Through, Kezy. There's so many suggestions are there, and I
- 13:59Speaker 3: just want to say a huge well done to all
- 14:01Speaker 3: the backbones out there, because there are some rippers here.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I've just looked at the list and I too, have
- 14:07Speaker 3: immediately taken my eye.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Okay, here we go.
- 14:10Speaker 3: A New York hot dog Yep, Frank Food's onion, tomato
- 14:15Speaker 3: and mustard.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That sounds delicious and it's like enough of it. I
- 14:20Speaker 1: haven't seen that being done anywhere else.
- 14:22Speaker 3: That's right, and it may not work, yeah, but it's
- 14:24Speaker 3: worth a shot.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I've seen cheeseburger pies and things like that. That's another
- 14:27Speaker 1: good one.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Yeah, what else you got? You got anything there?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Jamaican carried goat.
- 14:35Speaker 3: That's a no from me. It might be nicer, but
- 14:39Speaker 3: I don't know why there's a Jamaican involved, because I
- 14:42Speaker 3: think a lot of carry because you're making it. Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 3: you know, I get that you're making it because of
- 14:48Speaker 3: the pun.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You came to lock it. It's good for the pun. Okay, sweat.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And then I've got another one here, which I've just
- 14:56Speaker 3: momentarily lost. It is here we go venison marinated and
- 15:02Speaker 3: stout with stout gravy.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So deer and Guinness essentially.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Are stout with the gravy. There that to me, I
- 15:12Speaker 3: would eat that. If I saw that, you'd eat that.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I saw that in the in the pie warmer, I
- 15:18Speaker 3: would immediately buy that pie.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Right immediately. Well, I'll okay, I'll give it this for you,
- 15:23Speaker 1: but for me, really, I don't like venison.
- 15:26Speaker 3: You don't like venison?
- 15:28Speaker 1: Nah, I'm trying to wean myself onto it a wee bit,
- 15:30Speaker 1: why because you see all these yummy things with venison
- 15:32Speaker 1: in it, and I'm always like, nah, I don't like venison.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Don't like duck either?
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, I like duck as well.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Keep the suggestions coming through, by the way, text pie
- 15:40Speaker 1: to three four eight three do it legit there and
- 15:42Speaker 1: you could win five thousand bucks. Then, so my mates
- 15:44Speaker 1: at Dad's Pie.
- 15:46Speaker 3: The there's one here you'd love men. What's that Mogi,
- 15:51Speaker 3: pork mince and backbone broth.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Now we're talking the whodiking being shown podcast Guns and Roses.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You could be mine on the ducky bit shows Roses.
- 16:03Speaker 1: You've got Keezy and Mogi here, hoody Jbi back tomorrow.
- 16:06Speaker 1: He's got sicky sicky tom tum, yaki yucky bumbum.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Ye, it's going around.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It is going around, actually horrible. He's been up all
- 16:14Speaker 1: night with it.
- 16:14Speaker 3: So I was talking to my doctor because I was
- 16:17Speaker 3: there because I think I might have cancer, and he said,
- 16:20Speaker 3: I am getting checked out, but I'm sure it's fine.
- 16:22Speaker 3: But he said, there's a lot of sicky sicky tom tum.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Oh sorry, yaki yuki tm tam SICKI sicky bum bum
- 16:27Speaker 3: going around the way around?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Was he wearing a Warriors juzy?
- 16:30Speaker 3: He was here? Man?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Was it a one time to chant footy with me? Keezy?
- 16:35Speaker 1: What are the Warriors up to? This is good staff?
- 16:43Speaker 1: Do we do that?
- 16:44Speaker 3: We have done it before? Okay, yeah, yeah you have.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So this is Warriors segment. Usually I take every and
- 16:50Speaker 1: through what the Warriors are up to have with Mogi.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You've you've come through with a piece of hot news.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Yeah I have. There's been a in the New South Wales.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Cup, which is the great loath the NRL.
- 17:01Speaker 3: That's right. There was a game over the weekend with
- 17:04Speaker 3: Canberra playing against the Warriors and one of the players
- 17:10Speaker 3: there Corey Hawsbrough, who's been having a bit of a
- 17:13Speaker 3: rough year.
- 17:13Speaker 1: To be fair, he has, but when he's informed, here
- 17:15Speaker 1: is the state of origin.
- 17:16Speaker 3: State of origin prop that's right, But he's having a
- 17:19Speaker 3: rough one and I don't want to put any of
- 17:22Speaker 3: the blame on the fact that he's a ginger, so
- 17:25Speaker 3: I won't stand for it, all right, So if you
- 17:26Speaker 3: want to go down that path, I'm just putting a
- 17:28Speaker 3: roadblock there right now. But it was a hell of
- 17:30Speaker 3: a game. Canberra were on the attack and you just
- 17:34Speaker 3: sort of saw and shot that Corey Hawsbrough head buttered
- 17:39Speaker 3: Jacob Laban, just straight up head buttered right, and Laban
- 17:45Speaker 3: reacted just by laughing, which is allowed under the laws
- 17:47Speaker 3: of the game.
- 17:48Speaker 1: A great way to react.
- 17:49Speaker 3: And then Corey hawsbro gave him the old left right,
- 17:52Speaker 3: the old one too. Yeah, he gave him a classic
- 17:55Speaker 3: one two, a jeb and then a straight right and
- 17:57Speaker 3: then followed up with a left uppercut sort of glanced
- 18:00Speaker 3: him a little bit. He was on the button with
- 18:03Speaker 3: those first too, absolutely amazing. Laban laughed again, which was
- 18:08Speaker 3: an amazing piece of self control and must have been deeply,
- 18:11Speaker 3: deeply terrifying for Hawesbro who was just throwing his bear shots.
- 18:15Speaker 3: So it's gone now, it's gone now to the judiciary.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Just after that happened, Laban was sent off ten minutes
- 18:23Speaker 1: in the bin. He was sent off red card styles
- 18:25Speaker 1: Tom Arlier who was involved with a bit of a
- 18:27Speaker 1: kick situation apparently he was sent off as well.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he was sent So.
- 18:31Speaker 1: It's two warriors in the under in the NSW Cup
- 18:34Speaker 1: side and then Hawesbury was sent off too. But we
- 18:36Speaker 1: got two people.
- 18:37Speaker 3: We've got two people, and they've realized that the judiciary
- 18:39Speaker 3: that Laban did nothing wrong other than get head butted
- 18:42Speaker 3: and get punched in the face, and they realized it
- 18:44Speaker 3: probably wasn't for you to send him off exactly because
- 18:46Speaker 3: he obviously hurt Hawsbury's fists. But they've handed down their
- 18:50Speaker 3: punishment to Corey Hawsborough overnight. How much do you think
- 18:55Speaker 3: if you head butt somebody, Given how strict we are
- 18:58Speaker 3: on dangerous tackles and all these sorts of things. If
- 19:02Speaker 3: you head but somebody in the head but not the chest,
- 19:07Speaker 3: head on head, what do you think the band would
- 19:10Speaker 3: be for that? For somebody who has clearly lost their egg.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Okay, I would say for a head butt situation, it'll
- 19:16Speaker 1: be four weeks, four weeks okay.
- 19:18Speaker 3: He got one week, one week, one week for that, okay, okay,
- 19:22Speaker 3: and then the one two three. Yeah, and what about
- 19:24Speaker 3: punching somebody in the face. I would say twice, I'll
- 19:27Speaker 3: let them off the third punch.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Okay, once again, four weeks at least two weeks for that.
- 19:32Speaker 1: So he gets four weeks in total.
- 19:33Speaker 3: He gets three weeks in total, one for the head
- 19:36Speaker 3: but I know it starts to mine gets a bit
- 19:39Speaker 3: foggy when you're heading up two numbers that high. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 3: but yeah, three weeks, three weeks for head butting someone
- 19:45Speaker 3: and then punching them in the face. Bollocks, it's not
- 19:48Speaker 3: it's not great deterrent, is it really? No? I mean,
- 19:52Speaker 3: if I can, if I can just in a game,
- 19:55Speaker 3: go and just lay somebody out with a head butt,
- 19:57Speaker 3: and I'm going to get one week off, Yeah, then
- 20:00Speaker 3: on head button every game, if you can, if you
- 20:03Speaker 3: can give somebody the old one too and take somebody out. Yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 3: two weeks it's worth it, don't you think you think
- 20:08Speaker 3: about the way that we operate our reserves beach, we
- 20:10Speaker 3: often have a Freddy Lassek sit in there. It doesn't
- 20:12Speaker 3: even come on. I'll seeing them on for a head
- 20:14Speaker 3: butt and they yell one, two and then he can
- 20:17Speaker 3: take two weeks off.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Yeah that's true. Actually, Or what you do is if
- 20:20Speaker 1: someone's got like an ankle injury, you know they're going
- 20:22Speaker 1: to be off for a while, send them back on,
- 20:24Speaker 1: limp on and head button.
- 20:25Speaker 3: They're half back. When when you compare this to Terry Hill.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Terry Hill in the eighties played for Manny you remember,
- 20:34Speaker 3: was given a lifetime band for headbutting Wow, and a
- 20:38Speaker 3: game of touch rugby. That this is straight up give
- 20:42Speaker 3: it a Google and a game of touch rugby band
- 20:45Speaker 3: for life although he did head butt the ref.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Oh the whole acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 20:51Speaker 2: Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio hod Iking.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Welcome back, You're mad Master. It is the third of
- 20:57Speaker 1: July twenty twenty four, and you, my friends, listening to
- 21:00Speaker 1: the Big Show brought to you by Night And yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: you're mad Bastard's backbone so good.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Damn.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I did a bit of hoy j when we were
- 21:15Speaker 1: practicing coming out of that. We did a lot of
- 21:16Speaker 1: practice for that.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Didn't pressure man, It's not you think anybody could do it?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Because is it more like hell is hoty j Is
- 21:24Speaker 1: this is this houghty Jane?
- 21:26Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit. It's not.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Give it a go, get it your mad, Bustards. You're mad,
- 21:32Speaker 1: but there isn't it? Yeah, you're mad, Bustards' it's just
- 21:40Speaker 1: the timber. It is the time. The tambra is a tombras.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Is it not timber? I think, I think timber, Timber, Timber,
- 21:49Speaker 1: You're beautiful timber. To his voice. You're on the Big
- 21:51Speaker 1: Show with Kezy Mokey and also Heafy, and this is
- 21:55Speaker 1: pretty much how it's going to be moving forward.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Yeah, well we had we'd started the hour last night,
- 22:01Speaker 3: didn't we the last hour with you, Matt. We did
- 22:04Speaker 3: a few breaks. The executives came down, they see it,
- 22:06Speaker 3: it's not working, get out of here. They kicked me out,
- 22:08Speaker 3: and then but the text machine has been lighting up
- 22:12Speaker 3: on three four eight three. Just so much support for
- 22:15Speaker 3: your presence here, and so the executives have bowed to
- 22:17Speaker 3: that pressure as they do, and you're back.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Why can't a front boner from the Breakfast Show be
- 22:23Speaker 1: on the Backbone?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Yeah? You know what I mean.
- 22:25Speaker 1: There's it's a great point and it's the collab that
- 22:27Speaker 1: everyone's been screaming out for, to be honest. So yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 1: we're going to get into some heavy stuff this hour
- 22:34Speaker 1: with Matt Heath, who probably will disappear randomly at some
- 22:36Speaker 1: stage then come back again. Then to an impression of
- 22:38Speaker 1: Aidy J. Yeah, I'm so disappointed with my impression of
- 22:41Speaker 1: forty J to start there. I'm like, I'm going it's
- 22:43Speaker 1: going to live rent free in my head for it
- 22:46Speaker 1: was my big chance and I blow it. I blow it.
- 22:49Speaker 1: You got off side with the back boners.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Here's been a tool the whole archy. Big Show with Jason,
- 22:55Speaker 2: Mike and Kyzy. Tune in four on radio.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It is caught to plus five on the Backbone Big
- 23:05Speaker 1: Show with Mogi and Keezy.
- 23:09Speaker 3: And smooth sounding good, sounding good. A couple of work
- 23:15Speaker 3: ons for you, Keezy and me. I think we've got
- 23:17Speaker 3: a couple of things we're gonna work on. But it
- 23:19Speaker 3: just becomes a chemistry thing, doesn't it. Sort of working
- 23:21Speaker 3: out how we fit them with each other?
- 23:22Speaker 1: What do j will be spinning in his grave if
- 23:24Speaker 1: he could hear this?
- 23:26Speaker 3: Unfortunately he's not here, though, is he? Because he's got
- 23:29Speaker 3: yaki yaki tum tum pooy pooy bum bump.
- 23:32Speaker 1: He does, actually, And so in the meantime we're just
- 23:34Speaker 1: trialing Matt Heath. We thought he was going to come
- 23:36Speaker 1: in and just be Matt Heath. But you're trying to
- 23:38Speaker 1: be Howdy Jane Stick. That's all we're assumed. When you
- 23:41Speaker 1: see could you stand in for Jason Hoyd? I feel
- 23:45Speaker 1: so stupid? Now that's fine.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Now we got you in here on your own merits.
- 23:49Speaker 3: We thought we try that on, which are slightly slightly
- 23:53Speaker 3: above your impersonation of already.
- 23:55Speaker 1: J Did you think we got you in here because
- 23:57Speaker 1: of your impression of what he? I thought you thought
- 24:03Speaker 1: no one would notice? Yeah, and then because you're such
- 24:05Speaker 1: a well respected broadcaster. I didn't want to bring it up,
- 24:08Speaker 1: but I've just had a guts full now something I just.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Meant he fell as I went to a huge industry
- 24:13Speaker 3: event last night. I didn't see you there. Matt. He's
- 24:15Speaker 3: here normally along with these sorts of things, but it
- 24:17Speaker 3: was the It was the premiere for a new TV
- 24:20Speaker 3: show that's coming out on three now in TV three.
- 24:24Speaker 3: It's called Madam Madam.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You know what a madame is, well, your mad bastard
- 24:33Speaker 1: madame is is that someone married to a cert.
- 24:37Speaker 3: It can be, it can be in this lady. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 3: in this particular thing. It's a it's a TV show
- 24:44Speaker 3: following the discovery of her husband's affair with a sex worker.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Can I say that. Matt Lee, played by Rachel Griffiths,
- 24:53Speaker 3: a determined mother of two, finds inspiration to a bark
- 24:56Speaker 3: on a new entrepreneurial journey, opening her own ethical, feminist
- 25:00Speaker 3: brothel in small town New Zealand. A feminist brothel based
- 25:03Speaker 3: on a true story based on an American woman's autobiography,
- 25:09Speaker 3: which I believe remains unpublished. But I went along last
- 25:11Speaker 3: night and I had I've been invited to be a
- 25:14Speaker 3: guest on this television show. As you'll know, I'm an
- 25:19Speaker 3: award winning actor. You want to towards at least.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Some esteem twenty nineteen Actor of the Year. Oh yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 1: some esteemed You're an esteemed actor.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Actually that was the same. And I hate to detour
- 25:32Speaker 3: this chat, but that was the same night that you
- 25:33Speaker 3: won Best Children's TV Show and turned the victory into
- 25:37Speaker 3: a loss.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Oh that's right, I really, boy, boy, let's not go.
- 25:40Speaker 3: And so when you started texting me about the quality
- 25:42Speaker 3: or the endearing qualities of my wife.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Look, she's a beautiful leader. That's right. I forgot about that.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Take it as a compliment. Take it she was a
- 25:52Speaker 1: beautiful lady. Actually, that's the one part of the night
- 25:54Speaker 1: to stand by.
- 25:55Speaker 3: And that's what happened. And you started talking about it
- 25:57Speaker 3: on the Matt and Jury show Breakfast with Matt Jerry
- 26:00Speaker 3: there and whenever now, whenever you google my name, the
- 26:04Speaker 3: first thing that comes up is Mike Minogue's wife as
- 26:08Speaker 3: a result of the deluge of Google search as it
- 26:10Speaker 3: happened as a result of that.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Many of them from me.
- 26:15Speaker 3: So anyway, I've been invited to be on this TV show,
- 26:17Speaker 3: I go along and shoot it, and I thought it
- 26:19Speaker 3: was a more of a drama. But it's what I
- 26:22Speaker 3: can say, what I'm prepared to reveal is that I
- 26:26Speaker 3: play one of the individuals we call them, well I
- 26:30Speaker 3: don't they call them John's, which is somebody who frequents
- 26:34Speaker 3: as a job an establishment such as that. So I
- 26:37Speaker 3: play somebody who goes along to the brothel.
- 26:42Speaker 1: A client, A client.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Thank you, Keezy, thanks man. I will turn to you
- 26:47Speaker 3: for the terminology, brother. But anyway, I watched it last
- 26:50Speaker 3: night and I'm a little bit shocked and I'm a
- 26:52Speaker 3: little bit concerned because I've already told my mother that
- 26:55Speaker 3: I'm in this TV show and the way that they've
- 26:57Speaker 3: sort of cut it together doesn't put me or my
- 27:00Speaker 3: character but mainly me and the best of lights. Can
- 27:03Speaker 3: I put it that way?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:05Speaker 3: You can. Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So during the filming process, you were perfectly happy with
- 27:10Speaker 1: what was going on, but it's the editing process afterwards.
- 27:13Speaker 3: You know what they say and you'll know this, Matt. Yeah,
- 27:16Speaker 3: the three versions of a film. There's there's the film
- 27:19Speaker 3: in the script. There's a film and you shoot it,
- 27:21Speaker 3: and then there's a film that you cut together. And
- 27:23Speaker 3: they're very very different beasts. So I've signed up what's
- 27:27Speaker 3: based what's on the script. I've turned up and I've
- 27:30Speaker 3: shot it on the days and I've thought this is
- 27:32Speaker 3: absolutely fine, and then they have absolutely steamrolled me in
- 27:35Speaker 3: the cat, right, they have absolutely hammered me in the
- 27:38Speaker 3: cat Yeah, there is. It's tasteful. It felt tasteful. At
- 27:45Speaker 3: the time. Well, you're you're running a rocket?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Was this pre your post rock and bod.
- 27:49Speaker 3: It's during pre but it was also I was heavily
- 27:53Speaker 3: sick at the time. You remember this.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Key laryngitis our question this particular episode. I think it's
- 27:58Speaker 1: episode three.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Yes, the show comes out tomorrow night on TV three
- 28:02Speaker 3: and it's episode three.
- 28:04Speaker 1: So just the first episode's released tomorrow.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe so. Yes, we'll have to.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Find out because I'm interested to see what actually happens. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you John Keyesy? Sorry, John Key? Are you a John Keysey?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Am I a John Kesey Kesey? Or you are John? No?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Are you?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Have you ever been a John in your life?
- 28:22Speaker 1: John? You've been a Jays. I've just been a Jason.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Have I been a John? I think so? Who knows?
- 28:29Speaker 2: The whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 28:33Speaker 2: and Keezy.
- 28:34Speaker 1: It's the Beastie Boys on the Big Show with hoy J,
- 28:38Speaker 1: Mogi and Geezy. You're doing a really good job.
- 28:42Speaker 3: He fe it's really good.
- 28:44Speaker 1: It is good. You've got Kezy, Mogi and Matt Heath.
- 28:47Speaker 1: He is trying out for the position of Hoidy j
- 28:49Speaker 1: because he's away. He's got a saw tummy. He's been
- 28:51Speaker 1: up all night pulling his pants.
- 28:52Speaker 3: We're going to be trying a few different people, obviously
- 28:55Speaker 3: your day while with Howdy Jay Way suffering from Yakiah
- 29:00Speaker 3: Tom Tom pooy pooy bum bum. Yeah. And so tomorrow,
- 29:03Speaker 3: of course we'll beginning Jeremy Wells. The day after that
- 29:07Speaker 3: we're going to get Patty Gower. Oh yeah. Paul Henry's
- 29:10Speaker 3: asked if he can be involved.
- 29:11Speaker 1: When will I find out I forgot got the roll
- 29:14Speaker 1: as Hoody J on the Big Show?
- 29:16Speaker 3: Probably Monday next week, I reckon, we'll make it cool.
- 29:19Speaker 3: What day is it today?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Today's Wednesday? Yeah? I mean, because you sound do you
- 29:24Speaker 1: really want the gig?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Do you?
- 29:25Speaker 1: I thought things were going good on Bricky there? Well,
- 29:28Speaker 1: surely I could double end the day good night to
- 29:31Speaker 1: double end double ender. Yeah, ain't nothing wrong with the
- 29:35Speaker 1: double ender. But you don't see Jeremy Wells, you know,
- 29:41Speaker 1: doing a breakfast show and then doing something in the evening.
- 29:43Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I just feel like you'd
- 29:44Speaker 1: use up all your content? Is that the same person
- 29:46Speaker 1: that's on the Brickfast Show. I was watching Simon Shop
- 29:48Speaker 1: the other day and I was asking myself. Jany, is
- 29:49Speaker 1: that the same person I do the brick for show
- 29:51Speaker 1: with you?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Went?
- 29:52Speaker 1: Sure, it's the same person. It's Hillary Barry Matt ah
- 29:56Speaker 1: yeah right, sure, oh yeah right, okay, Yeah. Anyway, Look,
- 30:03Speaker 1: it's been an honor and a privilege to try out
- 30:05Speaker 1: for this, and I think we might as well just
- 30:06Speaker 1: accept now that you guys are going to continue looking.
- 30:09Speaker 1: And I don't think I was what you want as
- 30:11Speaker 1: a replacement of Hot j R.
- 30:13Speaker 3: O P.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I think if I had any advice, it would be
- 30:17Speaker 1: next time, be Matt Heath.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yeah. Man, that's the thing man, when it comes to radio.
- 30:22Speaker 3: And you probably won't know this, yeah, but just be yourself.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yeah right, You're never going to get anywhere. Just been
- 30:28Speaker 3: sort of a cheap imitation of somebody else. Yeah, I
- 30:30Speaker 3: mean a great invitation.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Okay, Like and I'll take that on board. But a
- 30:33Speaker 1: direction could have been better. You said come and and
- 30:36Speaker 1: play step in for.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I didn't say, well, you're just going to start an argument.

- 30:46Speaker 1: And the last thing you want to do is being bridges.
- 30:49Speaker 1: So let's agree and just walk away. Let's do it,

- 31:41Speaker 3: Not too bad? Not too bad?
- 31:42Speaker 1: But cold today? Yeah?
- 31:45Speaker 3: What do you do for a crust?
- 31:47Speaker 1: There? I work at the steel mill? By bye, God?
- 31:52Speaker 3: Are you smeltering?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Nom an?
- 31:55Speaker 3: I t oh, yeah, I look at the steel mill. Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool though still so good. Annabelle, do you
- 32:03Speaker 1: like fish and mate? I love fishing.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yep.
- 32:06Speaker 1: If you could be fish.
- 32:08Speaker 3: What's the biggest fishes you've caught.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Oh, it takes me just be a snapper. We haven't
- 32:13Speaker 1: gone any further, but I have caught a crayfish off
- 32:16Speaker 1: the fishing one before. You hooked a crayfish. Good, yep,
- 32:20Speaker 1: that's crazy. You're right. Well, I'd be pretty keen for
- 32:23Speaker 1: some cray on the boat and a bell. You're in
- 32:24Speaker 1: the drawer, mate, awesome, Thanks guys, worries Jack your mad
- 32:29Speaker 1: barst has life. Mate.
- 32:31Speaker 3: You're yeah again, pretty good man. Can't complain, can't complain?
- 32:36Speaker 3: What do you do for a crust?
- 32:37Speaker 1: I'm a builder backbone.
- 32:40Speaker 3: That's like a steak and cheese backbone, or a mint
- 32:42Speaker 3: and cheese backbone. The backbone was a pie.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You go builder, heyte Jack from steak and cheese. If
- 32:52Speaker 1: you could be any fish, Jack, what fish would you be? Oh?
- 32:57Speaker 3: I did one? Am? I right?
- 32:58Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah Jack? You like fishing men. It's part of
- 33:10Speaker 1: being in the trains, right, Yeah, of course, mate, just
- 33:12Speaker 1: another day in the office. You're in the drawer as well, mate, congrats.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Get on your mate. What's the biggest fish you've caught, kezy.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I think I caught a shark by accident. Once by accident.
- 33:23Speaker 1: By accident, I reeled in a shark. I remember because
- 33:26Speaker 1: I was quite young. It was a little baby one
- 33:28Speaker 1: and one of my dad's mates was like, oh, that's
- 33:31Speaker 1: a little bulldog shark or something, and then he grabbed
- 33:34Speaker 1: it off the line, snapped the shark in half with
- 33:35Speaker 1: his beer hands in front of me, and threw it
- 33:37Speaker 1: back in the water. So yeah, I'm probably not gonna
- 33:40Speaker 1: come on the old trip. There she is just because
- 33:42Speaker 1: I'm scarred for life.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Doesn't like sharks, It doesn't like bulldogs.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I don't know. I think he didn't like me, That's
- 33:51Speaker 1: what I was getting from that. Make sure you manage
- 33:53Speaker 1: your health and safety using site smart. Visit site smart
- 33:56Speaker 1: app dot com and you could be joining us on
- 33:58Speaker 1: the big fishing trip.
- 34:00Speaker 2: He's van hailed The Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt,
- 34:05Speaker 2: Mike Minogue and Keysy.
- 34:06Speaker 1: It is Ero Smith loving an elevator on the Hdarky
- 34:09Speaker 1: Big Show, Kesey and Minogue with Ya Hoidy. Jay's got
- 34:12Speaker 1: a saw tom Tum was up half the night, so
- 34:14Speaker 1: he's off today, hopefully back on Dick tomorrow. Mogi. Just
- 34:17Speaker 1: on that you were here yesterday before the show, right
- 34:20Speaker 1: about three o'clock. We had a wee meeting in the
- 34:22Speaker 1: office there with the boss. I dragged a chair over
- 34:26Speaker 1: and then I thought I bumped it against something metal sounding, sure,
- 34:31Speaker 1: but then Jays coiled over and was like he recoiled
- 34:34Speaker 1: I don't know, coiled over and was like ah, And
- 34:37Speaker 1: I was like, oh goodness me, what was that?
- 34:38Speaker 3: Is?
- 34:38Speaker 1: Like, you have my knee with the chair, Kesy. And
- 34:41Speaker 1: then I did that thing that I do, which is
- 34:43Speaker 1: I laugh when I'm uncomfortable. Yeah, And I apologized while
- 34:49Speaker 1: laughing and rubbed them on the back and so I'm
- 34:50Speaker 1: so sorry Hoidy j I have a feeling that's why
- 34:53Speaker 1: he's not on here today because yesterday of the whole show,
- 34:56Speaker 1: he was going pretty Hundi's at old Kezy and I
- 34:58Speaker 1: think it was because of that.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah you were, you were out of line.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah it was an accident.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Yeah oh yeah yeah. But this is the thing about
- 35:06Speaker 3: isn't it as you as an accident and then you
- 35:09Speaker 3: go you say you're sorry, but you're laughing.
- 35:11Speaker 1: That's because I'm uncomfortable and it's awkward.
- 35:14Speaker 3: But he doesn't know that. He just sees somebody apologizing
- 35:16Speaker 3: while they're laughing, laughing while they're apologizing. Both actually okay
- 35:20Speaker 3: and so he's thinking to himself, this person's not sorry,
- 35:23Speaker 3: and this person thinks it's funny. And in your defense,
- 35:27Speaker 3: it was funny.
- 35:27Speaker 1: It was funny. Yeah, see that was half. That was
- 35:30Speaker 1: half the issue was it was quite funny, like him
- 35:33Speaker 1: sort of hunched over like in a lot of pain. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: you know that's inherently funny.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Yeah it was. And I don't think you hit them
- 35:40Speaker 3: particularly hard.
- 35:41Speaker 1: No, that was the weird thing. It felt very soft.
- 35:43Speaker 1: So I didn't actually feel sorry because in my head
- 35:45Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, it wasn't even hard man, you know.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And but the thing I know about Jase is, let's
- 35:50Speaker 1: face it, like he's a big he's a top radio DJ,
- 35:52Speaker 1: he's a star. And I know if you don't sort
- 35:54Speaker 1: of kiss their ass a wee bit, yeah yeah, that
- 35:57Speaker 1: he'll do something like Pula sicky and say he's got
- 35:59Speaker 1: yah yucky time tam Suki sicky bum bum.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And I just worry that maybe he's waiting for me
- 36:04Speaker 1: to apologize for that.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I mean, and it is probably what something
- 36:09Speaker 3: you will have to apologize for because you did hurt him,
- 36:12Speaker 3: albeit inadvertently and all beit soft. I mean, history shold
- 36:15Speaker 3: for pain I think is probably quite low. Yeah, even
- 36:17Speaker 3: though he shuts up and gets on with it a
- 36:19Speaker 3: hundred percent percent.
- 36:20Speaker 1: It just seems like if I'd done someone else, they
- 36:22Speaker 1: wouldn't have cared at all. But yeah, so maybe what
- 36:25Speaker 1: if Well that's the thing, but you were sort of
- 36:27Speaker 1: kissing his ass by even apologizing. Yeah, I should have
- 36:30Speaker 1: just you should have done it again. Yeah, okay, you
- 36:32Speaker 1: know what I mean. What if just because I need
- 36:34Speaker 1: to nip this in the butt. Yeah, what if I
- 36:36Speaker 1: apologize right now? Because I know he listens.
- 36:38Speaker 3: You apologize or you say sorry, Because there are two
- 36:40Speaker 3: different things.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Which one's the best?
- 36:43Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Okay, hod J, I know you're listening, brother, and i'd
- 36:52Speaker 1: just like to apologize. I've to apologize. There, I'm gonna
- 36:56Speaker 1: say sorry. Yeah, sorry, I'll start again, hod J. I
- 37:02Speaker 1: know you're listening, brother, I know your leg hurts, I
- 37:06Speaker 1: know your ego hurts even more, and i'd just like
- 37:08Speaker 1: to say that I'm deeply sorry for lightly bumping your
- 37:13Speaker 1: leg with that chair. It's actually a hollow chair, like
- 37:17Speaker 1: it wouldn't have.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Hurt that much as one of those plastic chair.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It was a plastic chair. It was, yeah, it was. Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, mate, and if you could just come
- 37:26Speaker 1: back to work tomorrow, that'd be great. Although to be
- 37:29Speaker 1: on today's been pretty good. We've had a lot of fun,
- 37:31Speaker 1: Matt Heath, and it's quite interesting. You don't know what
- 37:34Speaker 1: you can do as a trio until you start introducing
- 37:36Speaker 1: new people, you know what I mean. So that was
- 37:38Speaker 1: quite cool.
- 37:39Speaker 3: It was a new menagerie, wasn't it. It was a freeway,
- 37:42Speaker 3: a new freeway.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I actually loved it. Yeah, and so I'm quite excited
- 37:45Speaker 1: to see what happens next time he's off. Yes, but yeah, anyway,
- 37:48Speaker 1: Hoody J. I'm sorry, man, and I hope you get
- 37:54Speaker 1: well soon.
- 37:55Speaker 3: There we go. That was really good. That'll work. I
- 37:59Speaker 3: know he's not a big fan of the show.
- 38:01Speaker 1: He doesn't even listen.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I don't think he would be listening, Okay, yeah, no,
- 38:04Speaker 3: he hates it.
- 38:05Speaker 2: The Darky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 38:09Speaker 2: Kesey Audio Slave.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm the Highway. It does, The Hidarky Big Show almost
- 38:13Speaker 1: six o'clock, Keezy Mogi here by the way, Hoodie J
- 38:16Speaker 1: back tomorrow coming up after sex MOGGI, What's on TV
- 38:19Speaker 1: with Mike Minogue and also some sports chat.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, how are we doing sports chat all Blacks
- 38:27Speaker 3: England good stuff. Yes, we'll do that. It's actually some good,
- 38:31Speaker 3: really good insight. I've been doing a bit of research
- 38:34Speaker 3: around that, and yeah, I think it's nice for us
- 38:37Speaker 3: to turn our attention and our expertise away from sort
- 38:40Speaker 3: of you know, the normal things, the cricket, the rugby
- 38:42Speaker 3: league and all these sorts of things back towards rugby.
- 38:45Speaker 3: All Blacks are back.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Baby, surely briefly we'll do that and play more coming
- 38:49Speaker 1: up after sex as well as to stay.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Tuned the hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yes, it is the Big Show with Moggie Keys He
- 39:00Speaker 1: no hoiity j back on deck tomorrow. He's going to
- 39:02Speaker 1: saw tummy been up half the night crapping by the
- 39:05Speaker 1: sounds of it. So that's cool. But the show is
- 39:06Speaker 1: brought to you by night and day.
- 39:08Speaker 3: What's to by man? What say that again? You got
- 39:11Speaker 3: to mimic me. You can't just let that go. That
- 39:13Speaker 3: was disgraceful.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I just couldn't remember what you'd said it.
- 39:16Speaker 3: There was a lot of there was a lot of
- 39:17Speaker 3: sounds that came out.
- 39:20Speaker 1: A broader by men.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Sounded like a fun pee.
- 39:23Speaker 1: It did, brought to you by night day, really good,
- 39:31Speaker 1: so good. Don't forget Barista made coffee four dollars fifty
- 39:34Speaker 1: hell of a caffeine fixed at your local night and day.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Keeping their prices down, man, I know, because that is
- 39:39Speaker 3: not no longer the price of the coffee. Actually, we're
- 39:42Speaker 3: going to do something. Well it is there, but you
- 39:43Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, five point fifty six six fifty
- 39:46Speaker 3: six seventy Yeah, big money in that. And in fact,
- 39:49Speaker 3: I'm going to do a chat tomorrow. I saw something
- 39:51Speaker 3: very interesting in this research paper that I was reading,
- 39:55Speaker 3: which had been turned into an Instagram video and was
- 39:58Speaker 3: on one of the reels there that I watch. Yeah,
- 40:00Speaker 3: right about where the money goes from a cup of coffee?
- 40:04Speaker 3: Yeah what do we think? We think? Ah, they're ripping
- 40:06Speaker 3: us off. Yeah, So this video broke down why where
- 40:10Speaker 3: all of the money goes from and a cup of coffee,
- 40:12Speaker 3: and it was very interesting.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Well, there you go. It's definitely do some chat on
- 40:15Speaker 1: that that research paper. Could you forward that onto me? Oh,
- 40:17Speaker 1: have a look for that research paper. I'm not sure
- 40:20Speaker 1: if I saved it, but we'll see how we go.
- 40:22Speaker 1: That's all right. Hey. We also did the podcast outow today,
- 40:25Speaker 1: joined by Pugson from Studio B. Here is a clip
- 40:29Speaker 1: involving Mike talking about the joys of being a parent.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Parents talking things like, oh, just have another one. It's
- 40:35Speaker 3: only a few years. It's only a few years. And
- 40:37Speaker 3: then it's worth it because I'll have a friend.
- 40:39Speaker 1: But you'd come in and say something and just be
- 40:41Speaker 1: like and then Jason will just be like, yeah, in
- 40:45Speaker 1: the face of a man who's gone through it four times.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's so insightful. Mode.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yeah, my wonderful, wonderful child whom I love very much.
- 40:57Speaker 3: And yeah, just talking about the very early early day
- 41:00Speaker 3: when there's crying and all sorts of things, and it's
- 41:02Speaker 3: all nighters and it's complete lack of sleep and in
- 41:06Speaker 3: our case, and it's our own fault. It's my wife's fault,
- 41:08Speaker 3: ma Ab and my fault, and that we moved away
- 41:12Speaker 3: from all of the support of our family and went
- 41:15Speaker 3: to an island in the middle of an ocean and
- 41:18Speaker 3: had no help and then a pandemic so we didn't
- 41:20Speaker 3: have any support of Farna or anybody else. It was
- 41:22Speaker 3: just us, absolutely white Knut clean it for three years.
- 41:26Speaker 1: What about the fact that I don't have any family
- 41:28Speaker 1: here in Auckland.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you're going to come to find that
- 41:31Speaker 3: that is going to be an issue. But you've got
- 41:35Speaker 3: pug Son, man, You've got me and Hoidy. Jail would
- 41:37Speaker 3: love to have another kid that he can look after.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Actually that's a good point. I'm like, I've got to
- 41:41Speaker 1: go to work on the Big Show. Can you look
- 41:42Speaker 1: after my kids? And just imagine that man, He's standing
- 41:45Speaker 1: on the front porch. He's holding your firstborn child in
- 41:48Speaker 1: his hands. As you drive away, he's waving goodbye age,
- 41:52Speaker 1: all good Caezy. He's got a cigarette hanging out of
- 41:54Speaker 1: his mouth and drop an ash all over the face
- 41:56Speaker 1: of your kid. Yeah, you can't buy that kind of love. Man.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Well it worked for his Ford orders.
- 42:00Speaker 2: So the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 42:04Speaker 2: and Kesey it.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Is the offspring on the hid Archy Big Show with
- 42:08Speaker 1: Kezy and Mogi. Howdy j Sick Tom Tom. He'll be
- 42:12Speaker 1: back on deck with us tomorrow, the Emogi.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah, he will be. And we're just gonna have a
- 42:15Speaker 3: little bit of Karen Affairs Chatka. We did this for
- 42:18Speaker 3: a while, Actually didn't we We did Current Affairs chat.
- 42:20Speaker 3: It didn't really go particularly well. No, but that's where
- 42:24Speaker 3: we take a piece of news from the headlines and
- 42:26Speaker 3: we have a little chit chat about it here on
- 42:28Speaker 3: the show and try and give it a bit of
- 42:29Speaker 3: a big show spin. I found something here on the
- 42:33Speaker 3: what just say, it's on the news, okay, And it
- 42:36Speaker 3: says feral cats are like devil on meth, Like the
- 42:41Speaker 3: devil on methamphetamin the.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Devil so that everything evil in this world but on
- 42:46Speaker 1: on meth.
- 42:48Speaker 3: And this this is a quote directly from a Canterbury
- 42:51Speaker 3: feral cat hunting organizer, right he is this This North
- 42:56Speaker 3: Canterbury hunting competition made global news when it started a
- 43:01Speaker 3: feral cat hunting competition.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I never even heard of that. Yeah for children. Oh right,
- 43:08Speaker 1: See that's where the issue is.
- 43:09Speaker 3: I guess around three hundred and seventy feral cats were killed. Right.
- 43:14Speaker 3: The problem was a vast majority of them were wearing collars,
- 43:18Speaker 3: and so they started being questions around where they were
- 43:21Speaker 3: finding these collars. But my understanding is these cats are
- 43:26Speaker 3: these feral cats are super super smart, and so they
- 43:29Speaker 3: started producing their own collars and they put them on
- 43:31Speaker 3: so that people thought they were domesticated.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Right, because it's pretty easy to tell I for cats domesticated, right,
- 43:36Speaker 1: they're all well groomed.
- 43:37Speaker 3: It's got the collar on, it's got the color on,
- 43:39Speaker 3: real tell tale stuff.
- 43:40Speaker 1: So you're saying that the feral cats, even though they're feral. Yeah,
- 43:43Speaker 1: they have the ability to mass produce collars, well, not
- 43:46Speaker 1: mass produced so much, certainly produced small scale were they
- 43:50Speaker 1: weren't using like plastic and like leather and stuff.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I haven't seen any of them, but I'd say it
- 43:53Speaker 3: would be a cured cat skin, right, you take the
- 43:58Speaker 3: elders that have passed on, and then you would or
- 44:00Speaker 3: were the thank you, Yeah, and then you'll be able
- 44:05Speaker 3: to bang something up. That's a pretty good imitation of
- 44:08Speaker 3: something you might get from animates.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Right, But anyway, they've decided that they're going to ban
- 44:14Speaker 3: this category. They've gotten rid of it and now it's
- 44:15Speaker 3: only for kids that are fourteen years or over.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Right, I mean that seems smart. I would have said
- 44:23Speaker 1: it should even probably be higher than that.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Yeah, there's fifteen hundred people participated in it. People are
- 44:30Speaker 3: upset about it, and they've been protesting. But according to
- 44:33Speaker 3: this organizing. This organizer here, he said, the competition organizer,
- 44:39Speaker 3: Matt Bailey. He's got a quote here he says, to
- 44:41Speaker 3: be honest, I don't really give a rat ass about
- 44:44Speaker 3: their feelings.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Oh it's so good.
- 44:47Speaker 3: He said. There's an estimated two million feral cats in
- 44:50Speaker 3: New Zealand and they killed tens of thousands of native
- 44:53Speaker 3: birds at night.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. That is the tough part.
- 44:57Speaker 3: And he also finished off by saying, if they're upset,
- 45:00Speaker 3: that doesn't worry me. M Yeah, he said, something needs
- 45:04Speaker 3: to change here. We're doing our part to help in
- 45:07Speaker 3: the country. So we're just going to carry on doing
- 45:09Speaker 3: what we're doing and hopefully it'll be bigger and better
- 45:12Speaker 3: next year. We've raised a heap of funds and we
- 45:16Speaker 3: had a hell of a day on Sunday. Few good
- 45:18Speaker 3: to hangovers, but that's how it goes a good day
- 45:21Speaker 3: in the country.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Backbone, backbone, huge backbone.
- 45:24Speaker 3: What's you feeling on that? Because I agree.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Well, look the thing, So there's this famous story, but
- 45:29Speaker 1: there's a lighthouse keeper was sent to an island to
- 45:32Speaker 1: look after the lighthouse there. He brought a cat for company.
- 45:35Speaker 1: While he was there, he noticed like three or four
- 45:36Speaker 1: weird looking birds. It was like, these are weird? Sent
- 45:39Speaker 1: a sample off. They were like, we've never documented these birds,
- 45:42Speaker 1: are we sending a scientist over. By the time the
- 45:43Speaker 1: scientists got there, the cat had wiped out every single
- 45:46Speaker 1: species a non flying bird. So they're obviously a massive issue.
- 45:50Speaker 3: But there is this weird thing where and I'm all
- 45:53Speaker 3: for I am all for animal right, so I absolutely am.
- 45:55Speaker 3: But there's a weird thing from some quarters where they
- 45:58Speaker 3: say it's not okay for humans to do this to cats,
- 46:03Speaker 3: but it's cat to do this to all of the
- 46:05Speaker 3: native birds and wipe them out. That's right. And I
- 46:08Speaker 3: guess people have a greater affinity for cats because they're
- 46:11Speaker 3: house marginally cute. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so that was there
- 46:15Speaker 3: was something also, you know, you want to talk about cute.
- 46:17Speaker 3: You know, there's something cute about cats, but there is
- 46:19Speaker 3: something very very cute about a five year old with
- 46:22Speaker 3: a three oh three.
- 46:23Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Kesey defin lip a Hysteria on The Hidarcky Big Show,
- 46:30Speaker 1: Keezy and Mogi Hoidy j back on Dick Tomorrow, He's
- 46:33Speaker 1: got a peey bum at the moment, but right now
- 46:35Speaker 1: it's saying for.
- 46:37Speaker 4: What's on the telly with Mike Minogue.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, man, what we're spoken about already, but just
- 47:02Speaker 3: speaking on a wider sort of a context. When I
- 47:05Speaker 3: saw Madam. Madam comes out tomorrow night on three now
- 47:12Speaker 3: in TV three, and it's based on a true story
- 47:16Speaker 3: actually about an American woman who comes to New Zealand
- 47:19Speaker 3: and finds that brothels have been decriminalized and that it's
- 47:27Speaker 3: essentially legal in New Zealand, so she wants to open
- 47:29Speaker 3: her own ethical and feminist brothel. So apparently based on
- 47:34Speaker 3: a true story, and it stars some pretty big actors
- 47:38Speaker 3: and I'm looking at it right now and I can't
- 47:40Speaker 3: remember her name. Rachel Griffiths, the Australian actor and a
- 47:44Speaker 3: great New Zealand supporting cast. Martin Henderson from Well he
- 47:49Speaker 3: did talk. He did a whole bunch of stuff, but
- 47:51Speaker 3: he was he was Stewie in Shortland Street and he's
- 47:54Speaker 3: gone up and done a bunch of stuff overseas, very successful.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Robbie Megaceiver, Rema Tewata Tewata and a bunch of others,
- 48:07Speaker 3: Millon Beards and there's stacks of other New Zealand actors
- 48:10Speaker 3: there thirty minute episodes. It's funny, it's an really easy watch,
- 48:15Speaker 3: it's beautifully shot, and I really recommend it. I found
- 48:19Speaker 3: it really is. It's the sort of thing that I
- 48:20Speaker 3: would be able to sit down and I would smash
- 48:22Speaker 3: out four episodes and I want to get bored, right,
- 48:25Speaker 3: And I recommend that you watch it and you can
- 48:28Speaker 3: probably just scap episode three.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I reckon episode three sounds like it's sort of the
- 48:32Speaker 1: one you want to watch to really get an idea
- 48:34Speaker 1: of what's going on.
- 48:35Speaker 3: I just think I just think they really dropped the
- 48:38Speaker 3: ball on that app right they did? They did?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Yeah, because I had some big name actors are in
- 48:43Speaker 1: that episode of I.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Mean, some of the New Zealand's best acting challenges isn't there.
- 48:46Speaker 3: But I just feel like some of the content wasn't
- 48:48Speaker 3: really nicey. I don't want to really get into it.
- 48:50Speaker 3: I don't want to relitigate, but I would just say,
- 48:52Speaker 3: watch episodes one, two, four, five, six, seven, eight, nineteen.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Right, Okay, what do you watch? I watched them an
- 48:58Speaker 1: episode of Country Calendar right from the beginning of this year,
- 49:02Speaker 1: so you might be able to recall if you'd seen
- 49:03Speaker 1: it a guy raising EMUs and it was genuinely interesting.
- 49:07Speaker 1: It's like, why are you raising us? And it was
- 49:09Speaker 1: because a lot of African people here.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Sitting them on fire raised?
- 49:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he has where he burns, No, he raises he like,
- 49:21Speaker 1: he raises them.
- 49:24Speaker 3: That because I wouldn't have thought that they would be
- 49:26Speaker 3: highly flammable. Are feathers have some kind of.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Is yes, like nurture them and breeds them and stuff.
- 49:35Speaker 1: And because there's a lot of African people here in
- 49:37Speaker 1: New Zealand that oh there's a lot of African people
- 49:41Speaker 1: here in Alti at all, thank you where and they
- 49:44Speaker 1: actually love to eat it. It's a delicacy over there.
- 49:47Speaker 1: And so they're trying to start a market here. But
- 49:49Speaker 1: did you know when they're born they are fifteen cinnamon
- 49:52Speaker 1: is high tiny. A year later they are fully grown. Wow, ridiculous, right, Yeah,
- 49:59Speaker 1: I thought that was amazing. And so they went and
- 50:01Speaker 1: saw them just after that hatch and they were little
- 50:02Speaker 1: tiny things like come back a week later and they
- 50:04Speaker 1: were already noticeably like twice the size, and then he
- 50:06Speaker 1: raises them and then he lights them on fire. Oh god, yeah,
- 50:09Speaker 1: and that was on country Calendar.
- 50:11Speaker 3: I watch that.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty so right was r T.
- 50:16Speaker 2: The Hoedarchy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Someone El Dub for the Love of It on The
- 50:22Speaker 1: Darky Big Show, Cheesy and Maggie Hoody, j O Sick
- 50:26Speaker 1: hopefully back on Dick Tomorrow.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Yeah. I actually saw tik at Shape Shifter, Wow, like performing.
- 50:33Speaker 3: He was just operating the soundboard, which he has done
- 50:35Speaker 3: for them for as long as they've been around. Wow,
- 50:38Speaker 3: isn't that amazing? So he tours round with him and
- 50:40Speaker 3: he just does his sound that is sick.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 3: And they were bringing people up during the gig, like
- 50:44Speaker 3: Lady six Yeah, other people, and I was like, oh,
- 50:47Speaker 3: it would be good if they got all tikitan out there,
- 50:50Speaker 3: and he was just chilling and he wasn't having it.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I like it, yeah, because he's obviously a gifted musician.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Remember one time I was on a flight and Tikitani
- 50:57Speaker 1: was sitting behind me. Oh, and everyone was like this.
- 51:00Speaker 3: I can tell you. I saw Tikitani after he released
- 51:03Speaker 3: his solo album, the Name of Which Yeah Yeah, and
- 51:09Speaker 3: I went and saw him play at samfre and Bathhouse
- 51:11Speaker 3: and Wellington And it's probably still one of the top
- 51:14Speaker 3: ten gigs I've ever seen, really absolutely unbelievable.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Just him with the looping, with the loop pedal and
- 51:20Speaker 1: the you know the effects.
- 51:22Speaker 3: In my mind, I think, nah, it was a fuller
- 51:24Speaker 3: sound than that. It must have been a bigger band.
- 51:25Speaker 3: But yeah, man, that was an absolute ripper. Because Salmon
- 51:29Speaker 3: Ala Dub had broken up and then someone Alla Dub
- 51:32Speaker 3: released a new album and nothing against them and I
- 51:35Speaker 3: was like, what is going on with this album?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Man?
- 51:37Speaker 3: This is not of the standard right And I didn't
- 51:39Speaker 3: he didn't really have the news back then. And then
- 51:42Speaker 3: Tikitane released the solo album and I was like, oh, okay,
- 51:44Speaker 3: here here he is here. Hey, can we talk about
- 51:47Speaker 3: the All Blacks man?
- 51:48Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, whoa, let's how you do it? Sports chat?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Exciting stuff man, And I am really excited about this.
- 51:59Speaker 3: The are going to be playing against England in the
- 52:03Speaker 3: need in this coming Saturday, and it is it's a
- 52:06Speaker 3: changing of the guard and really is a new era
- 52:09Speaker 3: for the All Blacks.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Can I just say as someone who fell away from them,
- 52:13Speaker 1: but I am now very excited to see because it's
- 52:16Speaker 1: starting with England razor obviously, it's very exciting.
- 52:19Speaker 3: That is the thing. It's a Razor has been brought
- 52:21Speaker 3: back in, and what I'm finding interesting now is pretty
- 52:24Speaker 3: much the absence of any conversation around the fact that
- 52:27Speaker 3: it was a huge call for them to bring him
- 52:29Speaker 3: in the first place because Fozzy, Yeah, faster, Yeah, he
- 52:34Speaker 3: was in there obviously and things went going well and
- 52:37Speaker 3: he was nearly going to get thrown out, and then
- 52:39Speaker 3: I think they managed to salvage or win against maybe
- 52:41Speaker 3: it was Australia or something like that, and look pretty
- 52:42Speaker 3: good doing it. But there was a huge amount of
- 52:46Speaker 3: chat around bringing in Razor, but the fact that he
- 52:49Speaker 3: is not a company man like, he doesn't fit into
- 52:53Speaker 3: that coaching mold.
- 52:54Speaker 1: That they had set up, well that pretty much all.
- 52:57Speaker 3: New Zealand coaches fit into. So if you go like
- 53:00Speaker 3: how far back do you want to go, let's go,
- 53:02Speaker 3: you go. Lourie Mains, John Mitchell, Robbie Deans didn't get it,
- 53:05Speaker 3: but he's sort of in that same sort of mold.
- 53:08Speaker 3: You've got Graham, Henry Scott, Steve Hansen, to a lesser degree,
- 53:13Speaker 3: Dave Rennie. But these they're all very much of a
- 53:16Speaker 3: muchness and Razor is so much of a huge personality
- 53:21Speaker 3: and it makes it interesting because when you want to
- 53:24Speaker 3: be a big personality and you're not sort of sitting
- 53:26Speaker 3: back in the background. If things don't go your way,
- 53:29Speaker 3: people are really going to be chipping in about it.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's true. How do you everyone go against England?
- 53:33Speaker 1: I don't know anything about them.
- 53:35Speaker 3: At the moment. I don't know anything at all, and
- 53:36Speaker 3: don't I don't follow Northern Hemisphere roby. I don't know
- 53:40Speaker 3: how much. I'm assuming it's at the back end of
- 53:43Speaker 3: their seasons. I'm assuming they've had some games behind. People
- 53:46Speaker 3: must be loving two people that don't know anything about
- 53:48Speaker 3: what's going on talking about rugby. But what I would
- 53:50Speaker 3: say is generally every year we have warm up games,
- 53:53Speaker 3: we'd play a Fiji or a few games like that,
- 53:56Speaker 3: and then you get a Northern Hemisphere team over. So
- 53:59Speaker 3: I'm so prize they're doing it this way and then
- 54:01Speaker 3: we're going to be playing Fiji and America after that,
- 54:03Speaker 3: which is an od way to swing.
- 54:04Speaker 1: It straight straight into Starting in Dunedin against England is
- 54:08Speaker 1: the randomest start ever. But I'm here for ickon. That's
- 54:11Speaker 1: body exciting. It's all in.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Traditionally, what that would be a cricket move, that would
- 54:15Speaker 3: be we get India to come over and play us.
- 54:18Speaker 3: We have our first test in Donedan in sort of
- 54:20Speaker 3: you know October November, where it's still minus three, right,
- 54:24Speaker 3: and they just want it to be all over in
- 54:25Speaker 3: two days, so they just capitulate so that they can
- 54:27Speaker 3: get in front of a heater that won't be the
- 54:29Speaker 3: same with England.
- 54:30Speaker 1: No, this is what that build.
- 54:31Speaker 3: They love it, so I'm excited about it.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I'm excited as well. That game is seven o'clock this Saturday,
- 54:37Speaker 1: the ACC commentating at Mcony and T Bone Tony Lyle.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Before that, though, at five o'clock you'll also got the
- 54:43Speaker 1: Wars taking on the Bulldogs with Die Henwood and Ben Hurley.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Watch both of those games on Sky Sport.
- 54:48Speaker 2: The whole Key Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 54:52Speaker 2: and Keisey.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Well there you going to New Zealand, a big show,
- 55:02Speaker 1: done and dusted for your Wednesday. Mogi, what are you
- 55:06Speaker 1: to tonight? Going home? I suppose having dinner, watch some Seinfeld, go.
- 55:10Speaker 3: To bed much ly. It's nasily today, beautiful. I am
- 55:14Speaker 3: going to go home. I'm got to look after my
- 55:16Speaker 3: kid because Malaf is going out to the premiere of
- 55:20Speaker 3: a movie that she was production designer, and so I've
- 55:22Speaker 3: been roped in to look after my own child. What
- 55:25Speaker 3: I only found out about this morning, you must be
- 55:27Speaker 3: I'm fuman, man was effing and jeffing all over the house.
- 55:30Speaker 3: What time's her bedtime? She'll probably go home after she
- 55:33Speaker 3: gets home from the movie, So it could be ten
- 55:35Speaker 3: ten thirty. Normally about nine nine thirty. You tag on
- 55:39Speaker 3: some love making there and a little bit of we
- 55:42Speaker 3: might watch some Seinfeld. Yeah, but yeah, generally nine nine thirty.
- 55:46Speaker 3: But I just said you can have a late one tonight.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Cool? And what about ten k your dog?
- 55:51Speaker 3: Well, she doesn't like movies. She never has. She hasn't
- 55:53Speaker 3: got very good vision. She finds it hard. I think
- 55:56Speaker 3: it's something with the King Charles Spaniels. They find it
- 55:58Speaker 3: hard to follow a storyline.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:01Speaker 3: She's always turn into me sort of, you know, anytime,
- 56:05Speaker 3: usually around the first act turn.
- 56:07Speaker 1: Yeah, she would just turn to me and go what Yeah,
- 56:11Speaker 1: it's so good man. Well, have we have a great
- 56:13Speaker 1: evening again. We'll see you tomorrow at four o'clock. I
- 56:15Speaker 1: personally am going out for dinner tonight with one of
- 56:19Speaker 1: your best mates. Man good one of my mates who's
- 56:21Speaker 1: up from Tanagho. That's very exciting having Korean. Oh yeah,
- 56:24Speaker 1: so that's exciting as well. But we will be back
- 56:26Speaker 1: tomorrow four o'clock, hopefully with Hoidy j as well. As
- 56:29Speaker 1: we've been talking about. He's got a bit of a
- 56:31Speaker 1: stomach issue.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Hopefully his stalls have firmed up by then.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Oh God, I hope so. But we'll be back tomorrow
- 56:36Speaker 1: four o'clock. Don't forget to check out the whole Ackuy
- 56:38Speaker 1: Big Show podcast as well, out tonight seven thirty pm.
- 56:41Speaker 1: We'll see that
