- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to a lily Pad production.
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is the Team Up Play show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Podcast previously in the City of Bones.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And why are you here tonight? And why do you
- 0:33Speaker 2: look so? Say it? Say it? Have noar and whatever?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Why I could I could use some help.
- 0:44Speaker 4: I'll look over and see, uh the like torn and
- 0:48Speaker 4: burned Sherlock Holmes poster that Quanta has brought with her
- 0:52Speaker 4: and I hold the poster up to the tailor.
- 0:54Speaker 2: What about something like this?
- 0:58Speaker 5: It can't be another another vision? Has this ever happened
- 1:05Speaker 5: to any day before? You don't think so. You're too old,
- 1:08Speaker 5: you already had yours. One of the firemen has you
- 1:14Speaker 5: in his arms. He's a young man around your age.
- 1:18Speaker 5: As your eyes open, he has brown, wavy hair, and
- 1:22Speaker 5: he's sweaty. His face is smeared with yeah, I keep going.
- 1:28Speaker 5: His face is smeared with ash. As he sees your
- 1:32Speaker 5: eyes open, he says, ah, Hi, I'm Joshua, You're okay, Hi,
- 1:38Speaker 5: thank you, You're safe.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I'm Quanta.
- 1:42Speaker 5: But you do have an appointment this morning with a
- 1:45Speaker 5: repeat customer who comes in often.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Her name is Angel. Oh Ronnie, I need you bad, honey.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Oh Angel, What is it?
- 1:52Speaker 6: I met this new guy. Really, he's so good to me.
- 1:56Speaker 6: I don't know why I'm complaining, but I don't know.
- 1:59Speaker 6: I think he might be cheating on me. I need you, Ronnie.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I don't want to feel this way anymore. I need
- 2:05Speaker 6: you to take away the hurt, the pain you within her.
- 2:10Speaker 5: See a tunnel that's allowing pain to flow, tunnel that,
- 2:16Speaker 5: through meeting with you, you've squeezed.
- 2:19Speaker 2: And made narrow.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Wouldn't it be nice if Angel didn't come back whinding
- 2:25Speaker 5: about the salon or how her waiter treated her, or
- 2:30Speaker 5: the new guy she's seeing. It'd be nice if just
- 2:34Speaker 5: shut it off. You feel like what you're doing is helpful.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You feel the power of it, and.
- 2:40Speaker 5: You imagine closing the tunnel, pinching it. Pain can't get
- 2:44Speaker 5: through anymore, Jimmy or you step back, aghast as the
- 3:08Speaker 5: brilliant beam from the heaven seeps back into the sky.
- 3:13Speaker 5: You stumble back in the garden of your grandma's old
- 3:17Speaker 5: house as Jackie and Maria catch each.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Of your arms. Oh, jamir, what was what the hell happened?
- 3:29Speaker 2: You guys see that? Have you guys see her? Uh?
- 3:33Speaker 5: No, we just saw like the big fucking beam of
- 3:36Speaker 5: blue light.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Oh, is that what you're talking about. There's a lady
- 3:41Speaker 2: at it, A lady. Yeah, she's she's like a she's
- 3:46Speaker 2: she's from space, but she's human. There's some crazy stuff
- 3:52Speaker 2: going on cosmologically speaking out there, and uh, long story
- 3:59Speaker 2: short spaces space is habitable, Jackie, but because of aliens
- 4:08Speaker 2: star people that are enabling humans to live out by
- 4:13Speaker 2: Jupiter and maybe other places. I honestly could have asked
- 4:17Speaker 2: a lot deeper stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Jay's shaking her head. Jimmy, that's insane. What did you learn?
- 4:24Speaker 2: What did you? What else did you? What did she?
- 4:27Speaker 2: What was she telling you? What did what happened? Well?
- 4:31Speaker 2: I mean I was just asking a lot of questions,
- 4:34Speaker 2: trying to understand the nature of her, you know, descending
- 4:38Speaker 2: to space. It seems that it's rooted in magic, and
- 4:41Speaker 2: the magic comes from the starfolk, some of the stuff
- 4:46Speaker 2: my grandma was trying to study and tap into before
- 4:51Speaker 2: you know, she went with a technological route foreverwing. But
- 4:59Speaker 2: I guess most elevant to me technically, I'm my powers
- 5:05Speaker 2: come from what they consider a curse from one of
- 5:10Speaker 2: their spiritual enemies, who you know is I would call
- 5:16Speaker 2: the the geno who gave me these powers? Apparently his
- 5:23Speaker 2: people are an ancient enemy of the Star people, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: he's trying to pay off his debt to their people
- 5:32Speaker 2: by being an enslaved gin granting wishes to humans. But
- 5:38Speaker 2: he hasn't done it well yet, and so technically, as
- 5:45Speaker 2: much as these powers have been a blessing, there's probably
- 5:49Speaker 2: more to it than meets the eye, and there's some
- 5:53Speaker 2: kind of curse element. Well, that was crazy shit that
- 5:59Speaker 2: we saw. Thanks for watching me dance for that long.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's kind of humiliating.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Sure, I mean you got moves, Maria says, I'm hungry,
- 6:11Speaker 5: Are you guys hungry?
- 6:12Speaker 2: That made me?
- 6:13Speaker 5: That whole thing made me hungry.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I'm very hungry. I could whip us something up, or
- 6:18Speaker 2: we could go out. I honestly don't want to leave.
- 6:23Speaker 2: If we could just eat here, that sounds awesome, all.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Right, I'll make us something, Maria, you and Jackie go
- 6:31Speaker 5: into the kitchen and whip up some food. Jamir, as
- 6:34Speaker 5: you're walking in, you have leveled up this interaction with
- 6:40Speaker 5: this otherworldly woman. You've taken the get behind me perk,
- 6:46Speaker 5: your ability to defend those around you. What else has
- 6:49Speaker 5: Jamiir poured into and how is that making Jamir feel
- 6:54Speaker 5: right now? Yeah, Jamiir has buffed both his strength and
- 7:00Speaker 5: his magic blasts. So I think Jamiir, while he's tired,
- 7:07Speaker 5: the magic is flowing through him more easily, and his power,
- 7:14Speaker 5: both in his physical might as well as when it
- 7:18Speaker 5: shoots through him magically, is coursing and flowing a bit
- 7:22Speaker 5: smoother now.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And what percentage buffer are you than before? You know,
- 7:29Speaker 2: I'm like a good twenty five percent buffer?
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh oh oh that's a job. Oh, I can't do that,
- 7:39Speaker 1: mas sing like what he is now?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Us seventy?
- 7:43Speaker 7: Well? Is it twenty five percent of where he was
- 7:46Speaker 7: at now or where he was at before?
- 7:51Speaker 6: Yes?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yes, okay, I went from five to seven, so it's
- 7:54Speaker 2: probably like one hundred and thirty percent increase technically, check
- 8:00Speaker 2: my math on that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Trust you great?
- 8:02Speaker 2: Everyone, let's all just imagine buffer buffer but from before
- 8:09Speaker 2: he got powers.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, right, it's great.
- 8:12Speaker 2: A nice lot of leg day in there. No, I'm
- 8:15Speaker 2: just saying from like yesterday, from level two. I'm just
- 8:18Speaker 2: two to three, Okay, two to three.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Because I think before you were ten percent buffer from
- 8:22Speaker 4: when you didn't have powers.
- 8:24Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, you're just shirt off. It was it
- 8:29Speaker 2: was seventy five. Oh yeah, yeah, I believe so. Oh dang, okay,
- 8:34Speaker 2: it's starting to get thicker, one hundred percent buffer from
- 8:38Speaker 2: when you before you got power. Sure nice, Maybe I
- 8:42Speaker 2: don't know, check the math. Let us know. When you're
- 8:46Speaker 2: doing your fan art out there, consider just.
- 8:49Speaker 1: A little pinch and zoom, just a.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Little Yeah, if you're do an art and an iPad,
- 8:58Speaker 4: pinch and zoom, you know what I mean.
- 8:59Speaker 2: He enhance enhance.
- 9:02Speaker 5: But yes, Raja, with this interaction and with a greater understanding,
- 9:09Speaker 5: with knowledge comes power, you are able now to pick
- 9:15Speaker 5: and choose some of the magics you want to throw
- 9:17Speaker 5: out with your magic blasts.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Ooh, I like that.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Once per recovery rest you can just pick one.
- 9:26Speaker 2: That's fun. I like that.
- 9:28Speaker 5: But then the other ones you still have to roll for.
- 9:31Speaker 5: But you can roll twice and choose which one you want.
- 9:35Speaker 8: Very fund aids.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'm just throwing as I'm beginning to grasp the strands
- 9:46Speaker 2: of magic flowing through my body.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Rija, with this empowered feeling, you move into a nice
- 9:54Speaker 5: and very late snack with Maria and Jackie.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I make a thick turkey sando nice.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Like I think, like the day after Thanksgiving, like not
- 10:08Speaker 4: thin slices just like.
- 10:10Speaker 2: No, no, no, just lots of lots of Deli slices
- 10:14Speaker 2: layered on top of each other, to each other, a
- 10:17Speaker 2: couple of different cheeses, probably two different kinds of mayo,
- 10:21Speaker 2: some Chipotle and some regular.
- 10:24Speaker 4: It's like hard to get your mouth around the verticality
- 10:27Speaker 4: of the sand If I have any Tabasco sauce around,
- 10:30Speaker 4: I'll probably be holding that to like dash on each bite.
- 10:35Speaker 4: What a picture. You're just like your shirt's like tighter.
- 10:38Speaker 4: You're just holding a huge sandwich tobacco bottle.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Your hands just humming with new magics and turkey sandwich.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Turkey Sando magics and salmwich.
- 10:52Speaker 5: I will move over to Jason following threads. We've done
- 10:56Speaker 5: one for Ronnie, one for Jamir. What are you doing, Jason?
- 11:00Speaker 4: I just got the one point in thread chasing, and
- 11:03Speaker 4: I'm I'm literally chasing threads this time.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Gotta pick up my package.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Boy, just gotta go to the dry cleaners, drop off
- 11:12Speaker 4: this spellbook suit, pick up the other one. A little
- 11:16Speaker 4: quick and dirty in and.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Out of the like that's what a DC, it's I
- 11:21Speaker 2: got it.
- 11:23Speaker 5: You show up to the tailor's one night a week
- 11:27Speaker 5: later looking to get your new suit.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 4: At this point, Jason is just wearing like kind of
- 11:32Speaker 4: a saint. He's been not sleeping and wearing Arthur's the
- 11:37Speaker 4: suit he wore to Arthur's funeral, like a gray, crumpled
- 11:39Speaker 4: suit and just a paper bag on his head. And
- 11:42Speaker 4: he's got in like a grocery tote bag, the Spellbook
- 11:47Speaker 4: suit that he's at on loan.
- 11:49Speaker 2: And he buzzes the tailor. It's me, oh, paper boy,
- 11:56Speaker 2: paper man, I mean paper fan.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Come on in, she buzzes, and you go up to
- 12:03Speaker 5: her penthouse. She's moved the mannequin upstairs as she's putting
- 12:09Speaker 5: on the finishing touches.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I've got some business to attend to, so I hope
- 12:16Speaker 4: you'll forgive me.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I can't stay low. Well, you don't want to try
- 12:20Speaker 2: it on.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I'm sure if it's great. And if it's I mean
- 12:25Speaker 4: it looks like you met my specs. It's paper and
- 12:30Speaker 4: venim together. Yes, I've done everything you wanted. You look
- 12:36Speaker 4: and you see, pale white but still shimmering is the
- 12:42Speaker 4: new suit of the Paper Phantom. The tailor has really
- 12:48Speaker 4: done the incredible. She's fused the pulp of paper with
- 12:54Speaker 4: venim lace thread to create a paper venim cloth alloy
- 12:59Speaker 4: thing amazing. She's been able to selely adjust the tone
- 13:05Speaker 4: with light grays and off white to create a stunning piece.
- 13:10Speaker 4: It's a trench coat that folds over itself in the
- 13:14Speaker 4: front and has a broad and pronounced collar that pops
- 13:18Speaker 4: up well beyond the top of the neck. The tails
- 13:23Speaker 4: of the coat are hilariously and Prantom approved.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Long paper Phantom approved and wide wide.
- 13:34Speaker 5: There is a paper mask that is just overlapping. It
- 13:38Speaker 5: looks like just overlapping paper, kind of like mache. It
- 13:43Speaker 5: has no features, it's just paper. It covers the whole head,
- 13:48Speaker 5: giving a haunting look. And then there is the hat.
- 13:53Speaker 5: It's a fedora with a much broader brim, kind of
- 13:57Speaker 5: like Carmen San Diego style.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Of Diego style, Yeah, Carmon's nda.
- 14:04Speaker 5: A light gray ribbon where the brim meets the dome
- 14:07Speaker 5: of the hat. You are meant to look past the
- 14:10Speaker 5: broad collar and then under the wide brim hat, expecting
- 14:14Speaker 5: to see a face, but instead are met with the
- 14:17Speaker 5: pale blank face of the paper phantom.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I'm just imagining Untaanned Adjason looking confused.
- 14:42Speaker 4: The pale and then yeah, just like you see like
- 14:46Speaker 4: the paper bag starts to get wet as you see
- 14:48Speaker 4: a tear to form underneath the bag. It's it's beautiful.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Thank you here, I brought you this back to hands
- 14:58Speaker 4: hands the tailor, the total bag with the spellbook outfit
- 15:02Speaker 4: in it.
- 15:03Speaker 2: She takes it back. I'll fine, I'll just use this
- 15:06Speaker 2: for touchups when you guys need help. I appreciate it.
- 15:12Speaker 5: She puts her hand on the mannequin, kind of on
- 15:16Speaker 5: the chest part. She looks at you and says, now,
- 15:19Speaker 5: paper phantom.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Is it just me?
- 15:22Speaker 5: Or is there something going on between you and me,
- 15:25Speaker 5: like like a little buzz, a little something happening.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Maybe like professional coworker stuff.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know about that. Maybe more like.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Romantic, kind of sneaky romantic, like you can wear that
- 15:47Speaker 5: paper bag and I'll wear one of my masks and
- 15:51Speaker 5: we can go out on a date or something.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Huh.
- 15:57Speaker 4: I'll be honest, this is the first time that I've
- 16:00Speaker 4: really thought about that. And also I had a funeral
- 16:04Speaker 4: this week and it's been kind of I've been doing
- 16:06Speaker 4: some other stuff.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Well I wasn't subtle before.
- 16:11Speaker 4: I'm not used to social situations. Ah, I see before
- 16:17Speaker 4: this that my friends we're all just books. So I'm
- 16:23Speaker 4: not saying no, but I don't it wouldn't be a
- 16:27Speaker 4: good date. Well, agree to disagree. How do you feel
- 16:32Speaker 4: about soup? Everybody likes soup?
- 16:36Speaker 2: All right?
- 16:36Speaker 4: Well maybe once the city is safe, we can get
- 16:41Speaker 4: soup as.
- 16:43Speaker 2: More than co workers. I don't know.
- 16:46Speaker 5: I'll hold you to that paper boy, paper whatever.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Thank you, Taylor.
- 16:55Speaker 4: And Jason's gonna unbutton his shirt under the jacket, pull
- 17:00Speaker 4: it open, and the suit is going to like sloop
- 17:03Speaker 4: into his chest to be stored for later use.
- 17:08Speaker 5: And the paper Phantom has come out of his cocoon
- 17:10Speaker 5: of paper and become a new hero, a paper butterfly, paper.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Diego, whoa because of car.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I'll take that out. I'll take that out. Don't worry.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I'll take that. Don't worry. Hey, guys, he's gonna take that.
- 17:35Speaker 4: If that's the exists in the same universe as where
- 17:38Speaker 4: the Pillsbury Double Boys is the name of the team.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah, guys know, I'm paper Diego.
- 17:49Speaker 2: San Diego Quanta. Yes, let's follow a Quanta threat.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Great.
- 18:00Speaker 7: I think one night, maybe like the three of us,
- 18:04Speaker 7: maybe listening to the VHS tapes or something again from
- 18:08Speaker 7: the womb or winding down. Hey, guys, before we go
- 18:17Speaker 7: to bed, I was kind of wondering if you'd go
- 18:24Speaker 7: with me to see somebody maybe maybe sometime in the
- 18:30Speaker 7: next next few days, if you can, one of you
- 18:35Speaker 7: or both of you.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I have no follow up questions about that. I'm available.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I don't have a job anymore.
- 18:42Speaker 7: I mean, it's it's just it's a delicate situation. Somebody
- 18:49Speaker 7: from before. Oh, she only knows me as Ronnie or
- 18:57Speaker 7: you know, the Arch day both she knew me before.
- 19:00Speaker 2: But I mean, are you going to go to her
- 19:03Speaker 2: in costume or are.
- 19:05Speaker 7: You going to go to her I'd like to go
- 19:07Speaker 7: to her as Ronnie, but when I've gone before, I so,
- 19:11Speaker 7: I I really, I really, she's she's somebody I really
- 19:16Speaker 7: messed up with. Okay, but she's fine. Okay, but I
- 19:22Speaker 7: don't I don't think she should be living the way
- 19:27Speaker 7: she is.
- 19:29Speaker 2: So I know. I said I had no follow up questions,
- 19:31Speaker 2: but I do now.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, So is this you want us there in
- 19:35Speaker 4: a superhero capacity or in a friend capacity for a
- 19:37Speaker 4: social situation?
- 19:38Speaker 2: Oh man, Yeah, good question.
- 19:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I think I just one of those things I'm better
- 19:46Speaker 2: at than the others. Yeah, that's it's being a friend.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That's that's what I was going to say, Jason, Yeah.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I was. I did not see that.
- 20:00Speaker 7: I think as as friends just for me, or maybe
- 20:03Speaker 7: at least like just to be there like after, because
- 20:06Speaker 7: I I kind of chickened out the last time I
- 20:09Speaker 7: saw her and I didn't. I didn't fix it. But
- 20:12Speaker 7: I think she's gonna be really mad if I do
- 20:16Speaker 7: fix it, or she's at least gonna I don't know,
- 20:19Speaker 7: maybe we need like e mts there or something.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 20:24Speaker 1: If I can fix it, I.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Hey, you let me know where I'll I'll be patrolling nearby,
- 20:31Speaker 2: make sure everything in the area is cool, and then yeah, yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 2: I'll be there for right after. Yeah, talk through whatever
- 20:38Speaker 2: goes to. My only general commitment is trying to keep
- 20:40Speaker 2: page safe right now. But I gave her a gun,
- 20:42Speaker 2: so I think she's good. What whoa?
- 20:48Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah that's how guns work, right m hm cool
- 20:53Speaker 7: This whole.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Time too, I'm wearing we're like watching hs Is in
- 20:56Speaker 4: the nest. I've got one of those cleansing face masks
- 20:59Speaker 4: on and I'll use paper manipulation to pull it off.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'll be there, Thanks, thank you.
- 21:08Speaker 7: I'll let you know when I had that way.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Yeah, let the boys agree to meet you for this
- 21:17Speaker 5: special errand before that, errand let's do the other thread
- 21:22Speaker 5: you wanted to chase. Oh okay, meditating on your visions,
- 21:27Speaker 5: how do you want to go about that?
- 21:29Speaker 7: So I think about, well, the first one was just
- 21:32Speaker 7: normal for like a day kid, but then it wasn't
- 21:38Speaker 7: like it. I mean it was because all the visions
- 21:41Speaker 7: are just chaos. So one of infinite options that could
- 21:45Speaker 7: have that I could have seen. And the second one,
- 21:49Speaker 7: my dad in a place that at the time I
- 21:52Speaker 7: kind of loved, was under threat. So I think Ronnie's
- 21:57Speaker 7: trying to think, like could she like create a situation
- 22:02Speaker 7: where she's like pushed back into it?
- 22:04Speaker 1: M hm.
- 22:05Speaker 7: So I think and thinks about the second vision and drowning,
- 22:12Speaker 7: and she heads to like a local like why.
- 22:18Speaker 1: The z She heads to the z the Zong the
- 22:23Speaker 1: zung Men's.
- 22:27Speaker 10: What is for the men's club, Christian Association, the Zung
- 22:36Speaker 10: the Zung Men's Catholic.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Associations Z for gen Z and millennials a gen Z establishment,
- 22:55Speaker 2: So this thing is ancient at this point. Could also
- 22:57Speaker 2: be the n b C a.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Christian is.
- 23:05Speaker 7: She it's the local end the local alphabet and hides
- 23:12Speaker 7: in there until I gets shut down and then sneaks
- 23:15Speaker 7: into the pool.
- 23:16Speaker 2: The lights go off. You hear the janitor, sense the janitor,
- 23:23Speaker 2: You sense you sense the janitor. Lock up here, the
- 23:28Speaker 2: doors close, The water is still but inviting.
- 23:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I put the CCTV on a loop electrically, just
- 23:38Speaker 7: with the thought stripped down. Take a deep breath and
- 23:44Speaker 7: jump into the deep end and let myself sink, releasing
- 23:50Speaker 7: all the air out of my day lungs until I'm
- 23:54Speaker 7: like sitting crisscross on the bottom and start holding my breath,
- 23:59Speaker 7: trying to force myself into a panic.
- 24:03Speaker 1: And it does not take long.
- 24:05Speaker 11: Because I've started a panic, got stuff thinking about doing that?
- 24:09Speaker 2: Yeah, naked, naked, drowning yourself at the man's Christian as
- 24:17Speaker 2: panic takes over.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Roll a spirit check, okay, plus your synaptic scan.
- 24:24Speaker 1: It's only a D six and a D four.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I'm rolling a challenging check, which is a D ten.
- 24:29Speaker 1: All right, it's possible, pretty good. Seven.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I rolled a one, Are you serious? Yeah? That's the one.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I mean.
- 24:40Speaker 5: I'm randomly showed a one to.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Like one is out of here, no cap detective.
- 24:50Speaker 7: I also see the one to everyone not on the table.
- 24:54Speaker 2: It was one.
- 24:57Speaker 5: I picked it up because I thought it looked like
- 25:00Speaker 5: the seven and then that would have been a Ti
- 25:02Speaker 5: Cry situation.
- 25:03Speaker 2: But it was a one.
- 25:04Speaker 1: TI Drowndron failed.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Could you just have drowned? In the campaigns?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Check out something I always have my secondary character.
- 25:18Speaker 5: You panic, your mouth opens, You start to do that
- 25:22Speaker 5: scary thing where you're inhaling water because you're reaching for
- 25:28Speaker 5: the air naturally involuntarily. You just start pushing and clawing
- 25:36Speaker 5: towards the surface. As your head breaks the surface, your
- 25:41Speaker 5: mind goes to a different place. Your spirit, your soul
- 25:46Speaker 5: goes to a different place, and you are shooting through
- 25:50Speaker 5: the sky as lightning. You do so over the city
- 26:00Speaker 5: of New Babel in a new vision. You crash to
- 26:05Speaker 5: the edge of the city where you behold a woman
- 26:08Speaker 5: in the air. She floats aloft, having called you the
- 26:15Speaker 5: lightning to her. She grabs a hold of the lightning
- 26:20Speaker 5: bolt and flings it down and it crashes into the
- 26:24Speaker 5: ground in front of some un soldiers that are chasing
- 26:28Speaker 5: refugees who are running past the walls of New Babel.
- 26:33Speaker 5: You're seeing the Eva war.
- 26:39Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, I can't believe it worked, or I'm dead.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Oh, maybe Joshua was reviving me.
- 26:50Speaker 5: You pop out of the lightning and are just ethereally
- 26:53Speaker 5: kind of in the air, next to this woman as
- 26:56Speaker 5: she grabs a hold of the lightning. The woman has
- 27:00Speaker 5: unkempt and wild yellow hair, not blonde, but yellow. She
- 27:07Speaker 5: has a flowing cloak that stretches past her feet. Her
- 27:12Speaker 5: bodysuit is blue and it's kept tight to her body
- 27:16Speaker 5: with a series of straps. She creates an orb of
- 27:19Speaker 5: wind around fighting evos on the ground to block a
- 27:23Speaker 5: barrage of incoming fire. She pushes and flips a un
- 27:28Speaker 5: tank with the wind as it listens to her and
- 27:32Speaker 5: heeds the flick of her wrist. She then pauses as
- 27:39Speaker 5: she hears a horn call. She turns to see that
- 27:43Speaker 5: the refugees have made it into New Babble. She speaks,
- 27:48Speaker 5: her voice amplified.
- 27:49Speaker 2: On the wind.
- 27:51Speaker 5: We have done what you've asked. We've come here, and
- 27:55Speaker 5: we will leave. Now leave us be, or can continue
- 28:00Speaker 5: to weather the tempest. Two lightning bolts strike down, and
- 28:06Speaker 5: she grabs them each as extremely long swords with which
- 28:12Speaker 5: she threatens the un retreating troops. They begin to cease
- 28:16Speaker 5: fire and turn. She sighs in relief. You see she
- 28:21Speaker 5: is tired and exhausted. But then a spike an inch
- 28:28Speaker 5: in diameter and a foot long suddenly sprouts through her chest.
- 28:34Speaker 5: It neutralizes her EVO gene, and as the lightning fizzles away,
- 28:40Speaker 5: she falls until.
- 28:42Speaker 2: She strikes the ground.
- 28:43Speaker 5: Oh, crumpled and dead, her face fades from your view,
- 28:52Speaker 5: and she smiles, knowing that her last act was saving
- 28:57Speaker 5: the EVO refugees.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Hello.
- 29:05Speaker 5: The clouds start to swirl in front of you, and
- 29:09Speaker 5: the wind forms the woman you've seen before.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Oh.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Once as the forest and then as the ocean, she
- 29:19Speaker 5: now presents herself as the sky.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Oh, I thought that was you? Why point down at
- 29:29Speaker 1: the ground.
- 29:30Speaker 2: She was my daughter, as you are my children.
- 29:35Speaker 5: She gestures to the EVO refugees now running into New
- 29:38Speaker 5: Babble through No Man's Land.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Were slaughtered, forced away. The world thought it no longer
- 29:48Speaker 2: needed them. They were wrong.
- 29:52Speaker 12: Who I'm I'm sorry it sounds like you're saying I'm
- 29:58Speaker 12: an EVO.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Yes, you are mother as she was before you. She
- 30:07Speaker 5: gestures to the crumpled body of the tempest on the ground.
- 30:14Speaker 7: She seems amazing. I wish I knew more about her.
- 30:20Speaker 7: I heard last moments were incredible. I just hold out
- 30:28Speaker 7: my arm hands looking at it, and ad gestured all
- 30:31Speaker 7: of me.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I'm not human.
- 30:36Speaker 5: I am a rock, earth stone, tree, wind, wave, flesh
- 30:44Speaker 5: and flower.
- 30:45Speaker 7: And you are of me, of earth. Yeah I thought
- 30:50Speaker 7: I was of Venus. There's venem on earth.
- 30:55Speaker 5: No, oh, you're an alloy of earth, metal and ve yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 12: Remember yeah, yeah yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Quanta nods and looks down at bat.
- 31:12Speaker 2: That's all right. The world needs you again. I need
- 31:17Speaker 2: you again.
- 31:20Speaker 1: What is it?
- 31:21Speaker 7: Is there something happening outside New Babbel? Is there another
- 31:24Speaker 7: famine or catastrophe? What's That's what I was always taught.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Seemed that the Evos came from global crisis.
- 31:35Speaker 5: My children, throughout ages have been builders, creators, growers. In
- 31:43Speaker 5: this time, the world needs protectors, defenders. Death comes. I
- 31:51Speaker 5: feel it in my earth and bones from where beyond.
- 31:57Speaker 10: Whoa?
- 31:58Speaker 2: She gestures too, the atmosphere and above with a wisp
- 32:03Speaker 2: of cloud. Whoa.
- 32:06Speaker 5: It will be slower this time, for my power is
- 32:10Speaker 5: still waye. But you are the new beginning, my daughter.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Are you so there's going to be more?
- 32:19Speaker 7: Yes?
- 32:21Speaker 2: She wraps you in cloud.
- 32:23Speaker 5: You rush together through New Babble and you feel both
- 32:31Speaker 5: space and time shifting until you realize you're in the
- 32:36Speaker 5: present today, and you go to an apartment building, a
- 32:43Speaker 5: crummy apartment building. It's in Sass. It's well north of
- 32:49Speaker 5: Crow's Hold and Jamier's house. And the two of you
- 32:54Speaker 5: phase through the walls and windows, the brick in stone
- 33:01Speaker 5: until you hover above a bed and you see a
- 33:06Speaker 5: young man the wavy brown hair. Oh my god, what's
- 33:12Speaker 5: the good word.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Jesus?
- 33:16Speaker 9: Like?
- 33:16Speaker 2: No, ripped? When you're like like, when you're like turning
- 33:27Speaker 2: in your bed, tossing and turning.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Yes, I call it crocodile rolling.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you see a young man with wavy brown hair,
- 33:38Speaker 5: tossing and turning in his bed.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's Joshua.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Is sheets soaked with sweat. Oh? Should we.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Earth?
- 33:51Speaker 2: Mother?
- 33:51Speaker 1: May I call you mother?
- 33:53Speaker 7: Yah?
- 33:53Speaker 1: Should we be seeing this? What are we? What are
- 33:56Speaker 1: we doing here?
- 33:56Speaker 12: I know this is my vision, but I did not
- 34:00Speaker 12: did not mean for it to go this far.
- 34:02Speaker 1: With you here and just.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Watch, Okay, his arms shoot out and out of it
- 34:10Speaker 5: come come.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Your vision is awesome? He comes? Yeah, he shoots, come
- 34:25Speaker 2: out of his eyes. Is that what we want this
- 34:27Speaker 2: to be?
- 34:29Speaker 1: No, it's awesome. You're doing an awesome superhero. I'm sorry,
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm a little ship.
- 34:35Speaker 5: He shoots out his hands and out of them grow
- 34:41Speaker 5: stacking hexagonal plates.
- 34:46Speaker 2: That are trying to think of words that aren't dirty. Now,
- 34:53Speaker 2: sure to challenge that. Shove into into.
- 34:58Speaker 5: The walls and break the breakthrough the dry wall. He's
- 35:04Speaker 5: still asleep and just tossing his head back and forth
- 35:08Speaker 5: as the Earth Mother sucks both of you back out
- 35:12Speaker 5: into the sky.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Oh, he will need a guy, got it.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I'm a little embarrassed.
- 35:23Speaker 2: What do you have to be embarrassed about?
- 35:25Speaker 7: I mean, watching that and how I already think he's
- 35:28Speaker 7: pretty hot, and now I'm going to be like his teacher.
- 35:33Speaker 2: And you're technically naked now too, and I'm totally naked.
- 35:38Speaker 5: These things have no impact on the way I see
- 35:40Speaker 5: the world.
- 35:41Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 35:43Speaker 5: I'm sorry if I've offended your day sensibilities. These things
- 35:49Speaker 5: are beyond me.
- 35:52Speaker 1: That makes sense. Mother, This is this is really happening, right,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'm having another vision?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yes, and you wake up in the water, crashing, coughing.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Time for water aerobics. Oh sorry, ladies, look at you?
- 36:21Speaker 2: How do you get it? Midnight? Midnight? Hours later?
- 36:28Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 36:28Speaker 2: Yeah, she was under water for hours?
- 36:32Speaker 1: Oh man, what the hell joined water aerobics.
- 36:37Speaker 2: You joined water aerobics with a group of wonderful old ladies.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Yeah, they're getting it.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Absolutely. Who carry from carry's candles? Could be there?
- 36:46Speaker 1: But she doesn't know it's me.
- 36:48Speaker 2: She doesn't know.
- 36:48Speaker 12: It's the most tension of a secret identity there ever was.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Water carry arms up, arms out. She doesn't recognize.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Now, why are you naked?
- 37:04Speaker 1: I'd like it.
- 37:05Speaker 7: I can put on clothing if that'd be more comfortable
- 37:07Speaker 7: for everybody.
- 37:08Speaker 11: Yes, okay, put my bron underwear back on. It's the
- 37:14Speaker 11: pool and you've explored your visions. That's a thread you've checked.
- 37:18Speaker 11: Oh as you Oh, tell me what perk you're taking.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I know, I love tank.
- 37:27Speaker 7: It's so tempty, tasty, but I think I'm gonna go
- 37:31Speaker 7: with always helpful m. You can use power pips from
- 37:36Speaker 7: your support pools to aid in the skill and empowered
- 37:39Speaker 7: checks of an ally, as long as the check aligns
- 37:42Speaker 7: with your power and passes the gd's discretion. We know
- 37:46Speaker 7: how good I am at passing the gd's discretion.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you got twenty and cokes in reel life getting
- 37:53Speaker 2: that approval high RL coke.
- 37:57Speaker 7: But you can do this during combat as utility or
- 38:00Speaker 7: a reaction. So if if you're tying and crying, I
- 38:05Speaker 7: can surpass.
- 38:06Speaker 2: As Wow, tie and cry, surpass and kick ass as the.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Earth Mother in a third vision gives you a task
- 38:21Speaker 5: to build back up and help the evil people. She
- 38:26Speaker 5: gives you the power to help mm hmmm.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Level the last level will ever get?
- 38:45Speaker 7: Now?
- 38:45Speaker 8: How to spread these four EPs? That's the tricky question.
- 38:58Speaker 8: As Quanta walks out of.
- 39:04Speaker 5: The geriatric aerobics class flip flops, you feel power surging
- 39:11Speaker 5: through you.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Aerobics is really rolling my shoulders out.
- 39:20Speaker 5: You've learned something about yourself. Not only have you been
- 39:25Speaker 5: given great power, but you are, as an evo of
- 39:30Speaker 5: old Wow, made to be a defender against the darkness
- 39:37Speaker 5: to come.
- 39:42Speaker 7: I knew I was chosen in some way.
- 39:46Speaker 5: We'll move to the night when you guys are gonna
- 39:48Speaker 5: help Quanta with her thing.
- 39:50Speaker 12: Well, now I kind of want to switch it and
- 39:51Speaker 12: see a different somebody with these guys.
- 39:53Speaker 2: If you know what I'm saying, Let's see some fucking
- 39:56Speaker 2: HEXA guys. Okay, guy, that's really good.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Oh, we already have a suggestion for him.
- 40:10Speaker 7: What do you want to do with your third threadshet O, Man,
- 40:13Speaker 7: it's been very easy to put Angel on the back
- 40:17Speaker 7: burning with everything going on, and it still would be.
- 40:20Speaker 7: But I think it's still needling at quantus conscience to
- 40:25Speaker 7: go visit her, So she'll go.
- 40:29Speaker 1: As Ronnie.
- 40:30Speaker 5: Let's move to that night, Jamir, you are patrolling in
- 40:32Speaker 5: the area. Jamier is flying around on his flight Star
- 40:38Speaker 5: looking for trouble, keeping an eye on Ronnie as she
- 40:42Speaker 5: walks down below.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I've put on.
- 40:46Speaker 7: Not a robe that would be like as ostentatious as
- 40:49Speaker 7: when I was archday, but something similar to like I
- 40:52Speaker 7: wear at work or war at work, doing the job
- 40:56Speaker 7: I did before, something familiar to her to Angel, Jimire.
- 41:02Speaker 5: A couple of blocks away from where Ronnie is walking.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you do see a police car with lights on
- 41:14Speaker 2: and a small crowd. I touch my communicator in my ear. Hey, Ronnie,
- 41:21Speaker 2: there's some trouble just a couple of blocks over. I'm
- 41:23Speaker 2: wound to look into it.
- 41:24Speaker 1: You're good for yeah, yeah, all right, let me know.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Hey, I'm here for you. Let me know what you're done.
- 41:30Speaker 1: All right, Thanks, I got this phantom you.
- 41:33Speaker 4: There, huh oh yeah, I can yeah, I can come.
- 41:37Speaker 4: I can come by if you need. I'm just over
- 41:40Speaker 4: at a prince of prince doing some research. But I
- 41:42Speaker 4: can you need help, want want one company.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Just just stay on all right on speakerphone over. I'll
- 41:51Speaker 2: say things and then you can you can say back
- 41:54Speaker 2: what I'm saying because I'll give you such good advice.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Perfect thanks over over Jamir.
- 42:01Speaker 5: You see, there's a couple of police officers pushing back
- 42:04Speaker 5: the crowd from a very high end apartment building in Kono.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Here.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Jamir zips a little closer to the to what's going on,
- 42:17Speaker 2: maybe fifteen feet above, kind of trying to be like
- 42:20Speaker 2: right at that line with the officers and the mob
- 42:25Speaker 2: of people, and I'm just gonna yell, like what's going
- 42:28Speaker 2: on here. One of the officers looks up and sees you. Oh,
- 42:33Speaker 2: thank god, Hey, come down here, let me talk to you.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I didn't talk to you. I just need a word quick.
- 42:39Speaker 2: I'm so glad you're here. Thank God, come here. Jamir
- 42:43Speaker 2: hovers a little lower, maybe like I'm like five ten
- 42:47Speaker 2: feet above them.
- 42:48Speaker 5: Oh, come on, I don't want to scare people off.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I can't yell what I need to say to you.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Jamir drops down. Oh God, thank you.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Uh hey, listen, I don't know what's going on, but
- 43:06Speaker 5: there's there's been dudes disappearing dudes. Yeah, man disappearing here
- 43:13Speaker 5: in Kono.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Over the last couple of weeks, four different missing persons reports.
- 43:21Speaker 2: That is troubled, dode. Do you have any leads? No,
- 43:25Speaker 2: they're a ghosts. Is there any connection between these people? Yeah,
- 43:33Speaker 2: that's what I can't yell at you. They've all got.
- 43:39Speaker 5: High crime rap sheets, extortion, embezzlement, that kind of thing, the.
- 43:49Speaker 2: White collar stuff. Yeah, I'll look into it, thank you.
- 43:56Speaker 2: What what what's going on here?
- 43:58Speaker 3: Oh?
- 43:58Speaker 5: Well, this is we just got another call in tonight
- 44:03Speaker 5: out of this apartment. Two of them have come from here,
- 44:06Speaker 5: so that's why there's a crowd. People getting freaked out.
- 44:10Speaker 5: There's another missing person.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the fourth. What's your gut telling you?
- 44:17Speaker 2: I don't know. Bad we got said guess, and Got
- 44:25Speaker 2: says that was a bad piece of meat load. What
- 44:30Speaker 2: what unit did they live in? It said? Four to twelve? Perfect,
- 44:36Speaker 2: Thank you. Jamir is gonna hover up to the fourth floor,
- 44:45Speaker 2: open up the hallway window, and Rigel is going to
- 44:50Speaker 2: step in the hallway to go do some detective work.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Quanta a Ronnie. Yeah, in the less ostentatious robe, you
- 45:02Speaker 5: find the house of Angel, do a little playback of
- 45:07Speaker 5: what happened to Angel because of you.
- 45:11Speaker 7: As Ronnie is approaching the building, she thinks about how
- 45:15Speaker 7: she met Angel doing her former job, which was and
- 45:20Speaker 7: is going to keep being pretending to be a fortune teller,
- 45:24Speaker 7: pretending to know people's futures and give them advice on
- 45:27Speaker 7: what would be best for them and what would work
- 45:30Speaker 7: in their endeavors in love and in life and in
- 45:32Speaker 7: work business. And she didn't know at the time, but
- 45:36Speaker 7: she was using her powers to see into people and
- 45:40Speaker 7: to affect how they felt and thought. And with Angel,
- 45:44Speaker 7: who was a frequent flyer that Ronnie was getting annoyed with,
- 45:49Speaker 7: one day, she without knowing, cut off Angel's pain sensors
- 45:57Speaker 7: so she doesn't feel emotional or physical pain anymore. And
- 46:01Speaker 7: as far as Ronnie knows, she's still that way, and
- 46:06Speaker 7: Angel seemed.
- 46:09Speaker 8: To like it.
- 46:12Speaker 7: The last time Ronnie checked in with her and then
- 46:17Speaker 7: found out that the church was then using Angel because
- 46:21Speaker 7: of her lack of hurt, to take her blood to
- 46:26Speaker 7: power Dirk, and Ronnie hasn't gone back to check on
- 46:30Speaker 7: Angel since that night praying Dirk and revealing herself to
- 46:36Speaker 7: the council. Oh, she's gonna hate me either way, walk
- 46:48Speaker 7: up one side of the steps, ding.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Dong, the bell rings. The house is.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Enormous. It's in North Cono. It's one of those houses
- 47:06Speaker 5: that as you're going through a city it seems out
- 47:11Speaker 5: of place. It's so big and beautiful. There's a double,
- 47:16Speaker 5: a double arched like an arching grand staircase that goes
- 47:21Speaker 5: up to the front door. You walk up one side
- 47:24Speaker 5: and ding a bell. The house is dark, quiet for
- 47:31Speaker 5: a time, long period of time, no one comes.
- 47:35Speaker 2: To the door.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I reached my senses out to see who's home.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Roll a sense check with your synaptic scan. This is
- 47:45Speaker 5: an average check. I'm rolling a D eight six. I
- 47:49Speaker 5: rolled three. You sense angel familiar to you up the
- 47:56Speaker 5: stairs in the house.
- 47:59Speaker 2: You sense.
- 48:01Speaker 5: Another form electric circuitry running through the body. Dull and
- 48:07Speaker 5: a week a day person.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Human.
- 48:15Speaker 1: That's somebody hurting, maybe Angel. I pound on the door.
- 48:24Speaker 2: You hear the intercom from the front door.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Hello, Hi, Angel, it's Veronica.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Veronica.
- 48:35Speaker 8: Is that you?
- 48:35Speaker 2: Dear? Yes, Hi, I was wondering if you'd come see
- 48:40Speaker 2: me again.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I've been thinking about you a lot.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Is that so?
- 48:48Speaker 13: Yes?
- 48:50Speaker 2: We'll come on in, dear, Thank you? Are you good?
- 48:57Speaker 4: Ronnie?
- 48:57Speaker 2: It sounds like she might be evil. Think you should
- 49:00Speaker 2: head over over.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Okay, I'll get over Rachel.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I'm a little busy. Let me know if things get worse,
- 49:08Speaker 2: and I'll dip over to Okay, I'll bring my cardbod
- 49:11Speaker 2: cut out of Ryjel.
- 49:15Speaker 7: I try in the handle and it's unlocked, and walk
- 49:19Speaker 7: in and follow her energy up the stairs.
- 49:25Speaker 5: You start walking up the stairs, right, Jel. You sneak
- 49:30Speaker 5: into apartment four twelve. You lift the window Apartment four twelve.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Well, I imagine just opening up like a hallway window,
- 49:40Speaker 2: and then like walking down the hall. Yeah, you're looking
- 49:42Speaker 2: for for twelve.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Ryjel walks down the hall, the ceiling like splinting off
- 49:48Speaker 5: your new metallic cowl, your boots, treading into the high
- 49:56Speaker 5: end apartment carpet. Ooh oh, lush blush. You get to
- 50:04Speaker 5: room four twelve, Ronnie, You walk up the stairs. They're marble,
- 50:15Speaker 5: The wealth is overwhelming.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Where are you?
- 50:22Speaker 7: I've been thinking about that night, the last night we
- 50:26Speaker 7: saw each other, and then obviously everything that happened, and
- 50:31Speaker 7: now that I'm free, and you know, I wanted to
- 50:35Speaker 7: come check in and maybe you know, come miserate about
- 50:39Speaker 7: how crazy that night.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Was and you mean the best night of my life though.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Oh is that what you'd call it?
- 50:49Speaker 2: I'd say.
- 50:50Speaker 3: So.
- 50:52Speaker 5: You don't see Angel yet. You just hear her voice
- 50:56Speaker 5: reverberating off the pillars in the foyer.
- 51:04Speaker 1: But I sense where she is.
- 51:05Speaker 7: Yeah, I just keep walking and talking because I'm nervous.
- 51:12Speaker 7: Tell me more about about why that is.
- 51:17Speaker 2: You made me into something new, You made me painless.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I've been.
- 51:28Speaker 8: I've been.
- 51:29Speaker 7: I've been thinking about that, and I don't know if
- 51:32Speaker 7: that's the best way to live a life. Angel, And
- 51:34Speaker 7: I'd love to talk to you about that.
- 51:39Speaker 2: You made me a doll. What they don't feel no pain, now,
- 51:47Speaker 2: do they? Honey?
- 51:49Speaker 1: No, no, adult doesn't Jami or.
- 51:54Speaker 2: Yes, you opened the door to four twelve. Is it locked?
- 51:59Speaker 2: Her locked? It's unlocked right now. There's like police tape
- 52:05Speaker 2: covering the door, and the door is open, jumiir pulls
- 52:09Speaker 2: it up slightly, ducks under the police tape as I
- 52:12Speaker 2: opened the door and walk in confidently like I belong
- 52:18Speaker 2: you walk in.
- 52:19Speaker 5: It is such a bad Batman vibe, but like detective
- 52:22Speaker 5: Batman vibe, it's a big, beautiful apartment, a condo. Basically,
- 52:30Speaker 5: you're drawn to the bedroom.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, once I entered the crime scene, I'm just hovering
- 52:38Speaker 2: on a flight star, just a couple inches above the floor,
- 52:42Speaker 2: just to not disturb anything. Ronnie, you sense Angel close
- 52:49Speaker 2: to you. Now you also sense the weak energy of
- 52:59Speaker 2: the they're being here?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Who else is here? Angel?
- 53:06Speaker 2: Just a friend?
- 53:09Speaker 1: Are they okay?
- 53:13Speaker 2: They feel?
- 53:17Speaker 5: And when I see them feel that's the closest I
- 53:22Speaker 5: get anymore. You walk up, you see her holding the
- 53:30Speaker 5: throat of a man over top of the banister. He
- 53:34Speaker 5: is cut he has had a leg cut off. He
- 53:41Speaker 5: is nearly dead, and she's about to throw him over Jamiir.
- 53:47Speaker 5: You open up the door to the bedroom. On the bed,
- 53:54Speaker 5: you see a doll.
- 53:58Speaker 2: In a shredded dress, and Ronnie, as you look at
- 54:04Speaker 2: your old friend Angel, her hair stringy and tattered, her
- 54:10Speaker 2: body bruised, lacerated, and she's in a tatter dress like
