- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring lids Australia. This is the winner Panecky Show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Paney Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, Pauline Hanson delivers a speech of the National
- 0:15Speaker 2: Press Club as a new poll shows the majority of
- 0:18Speaker 2: Australians think she's ready to lead the country. Daniel Wild
- 0:22Speaker 2: would join me to cover the day's top headlines. Australian
- 0:25Speaker 2: LGBT activists called out for abandoning their persecuted brothers and
- 0:30Speaker 2: sisters in the Muslim world. John Heinderreker will have the
- 0:33Speaker 2: latest from the US, including Jdie Vance's appearance on The
- 0:37Speaker 2: View and what World Cup ad has been.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Called cheap and TACKI.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Michael Loftus will have the latest entertainment news later in
- 0:47Speaker 2: the hour.
- 0:48Speaker 3: And we never forget Left.
- 0:49Speaker 2: He's Losing It tonight, featuring a teds suffering historian who
- 0:54Speaker 2: draws links between the UFC event and the White House
- 0:58Speaker 2: and public lynching.
- 1:00Speaker 4: It's not really a stretch to see that the same
- 1:03Speaker 4: impulse that created the UFC fight on the White House
- 1:06Speaker 4: lawn is the impulse that really pushed lynching in the
- 1:09Speaker 4: late nineteenth century against black Americans.
- 1:12Speaker 2: But first, new polling shows the majority of Australians believe
- 1:16Speaker 2: Pauline Hansen will be ready to govern by the next election.
- 1:20Speaker 2: According to the latest Sky News Pulse UGOV survey, fifty
- 1:24Speaker 2: percent of voters believe One Nation is ready to govern today,
- 1:28Speaker 2: with a further thirty three percent saying the party will
- 1:32Speaker 2: be ready by twenty twenty eight. The Pole also has
- 1:35Speaker 2: One Nation's primary vote sitting at twenty eight percent, ahead
- 1:38Speaker 2: of Labour on twenty six and the Coalition on twenty one.
- 1:42Speaker 2: The Greens are trailing behind on thirteen percent, and independent
- 1:47Speaker 2: and other minor parties are scoring twelve percent there. But
- 1:51Speaker 2: it's not all bad news for Labor. They lead both
- 1:54Speaker 2: the Coalition and One Nation in the two party per
- 1:58Speaker 2: therred vote fifty two to forty eight eight percent, but
- 2:01Speaker 2: the two party preferred vote was heavily divided by age,
- 2:06Speaker 2: with Labor winning a whopping seventy percent of eighteen to
- 2:10Speaker 2: thirty four year old while fifty eight percent of voters
- 2:14Speaker 2: age fifty or over opted for One Nation. Joining me
- 2:18Speaker 2: now is Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs,
- 2:22Speaker 2: Daniel Wilde.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Dan, how do you see the survey.
- 2:26Speaker 2: And what did you make of Pauline Hanson's performance at
- 2:30Speaker 2: the Press Club today.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Well, I thought Sanata Hanson's performance was very strong at
- 2:36Speaker 5: the Press Club. I've got to say, the issues that
- 2:38Speaker 5: she was discussing are the issues that matter to Australia's future,
- 2:43Speaker 5: you know. I think her assessment of multiculturalism was spot on,
- 2:47Speaker 5: as was her assessment of net zero and various other issues,
- 2:51Speaker 5: including the gender ideology. So what I think is very
- 2:55Speaker 5: exciting about this type in our country is the strictures
- 2:59Speaker 5: of the are being blown open. You know, I can't
- 3:01Speaker 5: remember the last time somebody at a National Press Club
- 3:04Speaker 5: address went through so many issues that were sacred cows.
- 3:07Speaker 5: You know, you're not supposed to debate these things. You're
- 3:09Speaker 5: not supposed to question multiculturalism, for example. So I think
- 3:13Speaker 5: that this is a very significant moment for Australia's future.
- 3:17Speaker 5: And what I'm encouraged by is not so much the
- 3:19Speaker 5: politics of it, whether it's one nation, liberal national, but
- 3:23Speaker 5: that we're having the debates that matter. You know, we're
- 3:26Speaker 5: debating important things in this country. So I think that,
- 3:30Speaker 5: you know, this will further open up the debate, which
- 3:32Speaker 5: is a very important thing for us.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Now.
- 3:36Speaker 2: She focused heavily on immigration, Housing and labour's budget lies
- 3:41Speaker 2: during this speech, but there was an interruption. I'm just
- 3:45Speaker 2: going to play you a short clip of leftist activists
- 3:48Speaker 2: and the role they play today.
- 3:50Speaker 6: The four hundred people today, so nineteen sen they eaten
- 3:59Speaker 6: food roach in the past twelve months.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yes, that was courtesy of Get Up Daniel, the activist
- 4:19Speaker 2: group put down that poster to try to embarrass the
- 4:23Speaker 2: One Nation leader.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Did it work.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And no, I didn't. It was pretty lame.
- 4:29Speaker 5: I've got to say, you know the other thing, I've
- 4:33Speaker 5: sort of got to question this a little bit. I mean,
- 4:35Speaker 5: how could this happen without the knowledge of the National
- 4:37Speaker 5: Press Club. I mean, how could that someone going to
- 4:40Speaker 5: get into the position of loading up a banner in
- 4:43Speaker 5: that spot. I mean, they had to be behind the scenes,
- 4:45Speaker 5: and I don't know, it just seems very strange that
- 4:48Speaker 5: this was allowed to happen. I can't help but think
- 4:50Speaker 5: there's someone on the inside that allowed this to happen.
- 4:53Speaker 5: You know, you could get wrap bags that get into
- 4:55Speaker 5: an event that happens, you know, frequently, and if that
- 4:59Speaker 5: was the case of some yelling out, then you'd say,
- 5:01Speaker 5: well that's just part of the parcel. But this seemed different.
- 5:04Speaker 5: It seemed very odd to me that this happened. So
- 5:06Speaker 5: I think the National Press Club needs to give an
- 5:08Speaker 5: explanation and they need to give an apology, to send
- 5:11Speaker 5: it a handsOn and also to everybody that was at
- 5:13Speaker 5: the event for this happening. I don't think that this
- 5:16Speaker 5: has happened to another leader of a political party, so
- 5:20Speaker 5: it seems it seems very odd. But no, I don't
- 5:23Speaker 5: think this has any impact on one nation at all.
- 5:28Speaker 2: No, I don't think she missed a beat, didn't look
- 5:30Speaker 2: embarrassed at all.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Why would she now?
- 5:32Speaker 2: One nation has promised to cut the tobacco excise by
- 5:36Speaker 2: fifty percent and to freeze indexation until June twenty twenty eight.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Pauline Hanson says the excise has made tobacco products so
- 5:44Speaker 2: expensive it has led to Australian tobacco consumers consumers buying
- 5:50Speaker 2: from illegal traders, buying in the black market, which is
- 5:54Speaker 2: now valued around five billion dollars DAN. And of course
- 5:58Speaker 2: here in Victoria we've had a crime wave sparked by
- 6:02Speaker 2: this illegal trade. What do you make of this policy?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm sure there will be all sorts of health bodies
- 6:09Speaker 2: and activists who will say this is a step backwards,
- 6:13Speaker 2: but there's no doubt that these taxes have made the
- 6:18Speaker 2: illegal trade just too attractive for everyday people. You've got
- 6:22Speaker 2: people who are law biding citizens who are buying their
- 6:26Speaker 2: cigarettes on the black market.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's far more common to buy something
- 6:31Speaker 5: on the black market than the legal market at the moment.
- 6:33Speaker 5: When it comes to tobacco and you've pointed out the
- 6:36Speaker 5: crime and the fire bombings and everything that goes with it,
- 6:39Speaker 5: it's also this absurd situation where if the excise were
- 6:42Speaker 5: to be cut, you would actually get more revenue, right
- 6:46Speaker 5: because people would go.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Back to the legal market.
- 6:48Speaker 5: When you're buying off the black market, obviously you're not
- 6:50Speaker 5: paying any tax on that, so the government gets zero
- 6:53Speaker 5: dollars out of every transaction paid on the black market.
- 6:56Speaker 5: So moving people back to the legal market is going
- 6:59Speaker 5: to be a benefit, even if you just look at
- 7:00Speaker 5: it from the revenue perspective, and that's not including the
- 7:03Speaker 5: crime and everything else that goes with it. I think
- 7:05Speaker 5: it's really quite extraordinary though, that we're in this situation
- 7:08Speaker 5: where it's just so obvious you cut the excise, like
- 7:11Speaker 5: I say, you're going to get rid of the crime
- 7:13Speaker 5: or reduce the crime and you're going to get more
- 7:15Speaker 5: revenue in the door.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I just think it makes sense.
- 7:20Speaker 2: If you're going to have cigarettes available and they are
- 7:23Speaker 2: a legal product, then you can't impoverish people who use
- 7:28Speaker 2: the product to are addicted to nicotine. Now, lastly, on
- 7:32Speaker 2: Pauline Hanson. She's responded to celebrity chef Neil Perry who
- 7:37Speaker 2: said he is going to leave the country if she
- 7:39Speaker 2: ever becomes prime minister.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Have listened to a response?
- 7:43Speaker 2: Do you think Pauline could be Prime Minister of Australia.
- 7:46Speaker 3: I wouldn't think so, but if she is, I won't
- 7:49Speaker 3: be living in Australia.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Neil Perry reckons you'll leave the country if you become
- 7:53Speaker 1: primary So.
- 7:54Speaker 7: That doesn't worry me. I couldn't care less.
- 7:58Speaker 3: What's this problem?
- 8:00Speaker 7: Many other bloody good people out there wants me to
- 8:02Speaker 7: be prime ministered to make a change their life. So
- 8:04Speaker 7: one one who doesn't good.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You're not going to rush off to one of these restaurants.
- 8:08Speaker 7: I'll take him to there. I don't think I've ever
- 8:10Speaker 7: been in his restaurant. I do my own cooking, Ben,
- 8:13Speaker 7: Everyone loves my cooking.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Dan, that's a pretty good response.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I've got to say that's very relatable, and it ends
- 8:19Speaker 2: up making Neil Perry look like he's rather precious than
- 8:22Speaker 2: out of touch.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Yeah, it does, doesn't it. I mean we've seen this,
- 8:27Speaker 5: you know, time again. We saw it with Trump, didn't we.
- 8:29Speaker 5: You know, all the time, all of these celebrities say
- 8:32Speaker 5: if he's going to win, I'm going to leave, and
- 8:34Speaker 5: no one cares really, and I think it diminishes the
- 8:37Speaker 5: celebrities that are involved. I think Neil Perry is a
- 8:40Speaker 5: very accomplished restauranteur and a chef and someone who's had
- 8:42Speaker 5: a lot of great accomplishments. But people will now look
- 8:46Speaker 5: at him through a different lens, you know, they say, look,
- 8:48Speaker 5: you've weighed into this political debate. It just sounds like
- 8:50Speaker 5: you've got sour grapes. I mean, we live in a democracy.
- 8:53Speaker 5: People are going to disagree, and if you can't cop
- 8:55Speaker 5: having someone as PM who you don't like, then that
- 8:58Speaker 5: says a lot more about the individual than it was
- 9:00Speaker 5: about anything else, I.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Think, And it says a lot also about what you
- 9:05Speaker 2: think of your country. If someone you don't like is
- 9:09Speaker 2: elected Prime Minister and that's enough for you to abandon
- 9:12Speaker 2: your country, then you know, how much do you actually like,
- 9:14Speaker 2: like Australia now, what to play your clip of this
- 9:18Speaker 2: clash between Opposition to Treasury spokesman Tim Wilson and Employment
- 9:24Speaker 2: Minister Amanda Rishworth. It happened on the Today Show yesterday
- 9:28Speaker 2: and it really kicked off when Rishworth said that Wilson
- 9:32Speaker 2: had argued for the government's tax changes in his book,
- 9:36Speaker 2: maybe you should table your book because of course you've
- 9:39Speaker 2: argued for these changes also, so these.
- 9:43Speaker 3: That's true that.
- 9:46Speaker 8: You're telling screaming and your answer to this is to
- 9:51Speaker 8: turn around and to censor and silence them. There's a
- 9:54Speaker 8: point in which austral.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Just didn't give it to people.
- 9:58Speaker 3: That is, it didn't give it to.
- 9:59Speaker 8: People at the last election before the Australia for the
- 10:03Speaker 8: last election goes through and what Australians get to have there.
- 10:12Speaker 2: You know what, on television you're always told do not
- 10:15Speaker 2: speak over each other because it frustrates the audience.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I've got to say, I like it.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I like just people yelling at the same time and
- 10:22Speaker 2: you can't really work out what.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Anyone's saying clearly.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But does still wilson't have a problem because there are
- 10:28Speaker 2: extracts in his book which seemed to suggest that the
- 10:32Speaker 2: changes the abneazy government made he perhaps advocated for. He
- 10:38Speaker 2: certainly made some comments about intergenerational inequity in that book
- 10:42Speaker 2: that seemed to mirror Labour's current reetric.
- 10:47Speaker 5: You look, I don't know whether he's I would find
- 10:49Speaker 5: it very odd if he had said it in his
- 10:52Speaker 5: book what the government is currently doing in the budget.
- 10:56Speaker 5: But you know, I think I think issue here is
- 11:01Speaker 5: obviously the budget is very unpopular and I think Australians
- 11:04Speaker 5: do like to see people take the fight to the government.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Maybe he sort of went a bit overboard. I think
- 11:11Speaker 5: I think he's probably getting verbal there by Amanda Rishworth
- 11:13Speaker 5: a bit as well. I will also say that my
- 11:16Speaker 5: colleague Ana Crichton was also verbaled by the by the Treasurer.
- 11:20Speaker 5: The Treasurer claimed that Adam supported the government's changes as well,
- 11:23Speaker 5: when clearly he did not. There was a component of
- 11:25Speaker 5: the to do with the taxation of inflation, which economists
- 11:28Speaker 5: widely considered to be a bad thing, that he had
- 11:30Speaker 5: said is a bad thing, But in terms of the
- 11:32Speaker 5: minimum rate of thirty percent, that clearly had a bit supporter.
- 11:35Speaker 5: So they've got form here in trying to verbal people.
- 11:37Speaker 5: So I don't know, I mean maybe it will be
- 11:39Speaker 5: an issue for him. I don't think it is, but look,
- 11:41Speaker 5: we'll wait and see what happens.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Dan Wild, thank you so much for your time. Now
- 11:46Speaker 2: my next guest. Harvimandel is a gay Jewish Australian Army
- 11:50Speaker 2: veteran who is calling out the antiques of some LGBTI activists.
- 11:55Speaker 9: They have the largest LGBT online community of nearly two
- 12:00Speaker 9: one hundred and sixty thousand followers. What started as a
- 12:03Speaker 9: marriage equality page is now an anti Australian hate fest
- 12:07Speaker 9: laced with pro violence messaging as resistance. This group is
- 12:12Speaker 9: totally unhinged, but it's the bigger issue, which is the
- 12:15Speaker 9: trend that I'm worried about. Post October twenty twenty three,
- 12:19Speaker 9: LGBT groups sacrificed gay rights for their hatred of Israel.
- 12:24Speaker 10: Check this out.
- 12:25Speaker 9: In twenty twenty two, they were calling to sign a
- 12:27Speaker 9: petition to stop the executions of Iranian gay rights activists
- 12:31Speaker 9: in Iran. Fast forward to twenty twenty five, they are
- 12:35Speaker 9: simping for the Islamic regime to defend itself against Israel,
- 12:39Speaker 9: the very regime that executes gay people.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Harva Mendel joins me. Now, Harvar tell me about this group,
- 12:47Speaker 2: their influence. Currently, their profile picture is opposed to advertising
- 12:53Speaker 2: an anti Hansen, anti Pauline Hansen protest in Brisbane. I'm
- 12:57Speaker 2: not sure exactly what that has to do with gay Rightsustralia.
- 13:03Speaker 9: Hi, Rita, thanks for having me on the show. And
- 13:05Speaker 9: that's exactly my point. This was a group that started
- 13:09Speaker 9: in two thousand and nine campaigning under the banner for
- 13:13Speaker 9: marriage equality.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Well we've got that.
- 13:15Speaker 9: We have same sex marriage under the law. We have
- 13:18Speaker 9: equality under the law. And instead of packing up shop
- 13:22Speaker 9: celebrating the civil liberties that we have, this movement has
- 13:26Speaker 9: transformed into something unrecognizable where it's supporting regimes and militias
- 13:34Speaker 9: that are diametrically opposed to gay rights, just like the
- 13:38Speaker 9: Islamic Republic in Iran, Hamas in Gaza, and Hsbola in Lebanon.
- 13:45Speaker 9: And what does this have to do with Hanson, Well,
- 13:47Speaker 9: frankly nothing. This is not the movement that I joined
- 13:52Speaker 9: fifteen years ago.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Well, tell me about this abandonment of the most person
- 14:00Speaker 2: acuted gay people in the world, those living in the
- 14:02Speaker 2: Islamic world, who face all sorts of persecution. They can
- 14:07Speaker 2: be jail, they can be beaten, they can even face
- 14:10Speaker 2: the death penalty in some countries. Why isn't the LGBT movement,
- 14:15Speaker 2: the activist class concerned about their brothers and sisters living
- 14:20Speaker 2: under Shariah law who have virtually no rights.
- 14:27Speaker 9: Well, it's simply because their hatred of Israel has completely
- 14:31Speaker 9: taken over, especially in large parts of the LGBT community.
- 14:37Speaker 9: It's just uncanny that they're siding with their groups that
- 14:42Speaker 9: would have them executed. And it seems to just fall
- 14:46Speaker 9: into this oppressor versus oppressed binary where somehow the Islamic
- 14:51Speaker 9: regime in Iran is the victim.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yes, well this is it.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I mean, if it is oppressor or oppressed, I still
- 14:59Speaker 2: don't see see how they see the Islamic regime, that
- 15:03Speaker 2: Islamist regime, you should be said as the victimized body.
- 15:08Speaker 2: But I think it's just a I don't know, hatred
- 15:12Speaker 2: of the West, hatred of Western values which really gave
- 15:15Speaker 2: the LGBT community the rights they enjoy today.
- 15:19Speaker 3: So it is all very perplexing.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Now when I ask you about a piece you wrote
- 15:23Speaker 2: when Charlie Kirk died. You wrote that for The Spectator
- 15:27Speaker 2: Australia and you call out the violence of the left.
- 15:31Speaker 2: You wrote violent retric within parts of the so called
- 15:34Speaker 2: social justice movement is no longer confined to words. Ha
- 15:39Speaker 2: of We've got activists who see words as violence, they
- 15:43Speaker 2: see silence as violence, but they have a very permissible
- 15:47Speaker 2: attitude to real violence.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Absolutely they do.
- 15:53Speaker 9: I was horrified when LGBT Rights Australia actually threatened excommunication
- 16:01Speaker 9: from their group if you showed empathy over the death
- 16:05Speaker 9: of Charlie Kirk, over the murder of a man in
- 16:08Speaker 9: front of his wife and child. It was horrifying, but
- 16:12Speaker 9: it wasn't unexpected. They showed the same sympathy for Luigi
- 16:19Speaker 9: Mangione when he allegedly shot a healthcare ceo in cold
- 16:25Speaker 9: in cold blood. They're actually glorifying political violence.
- 16:31Speaker 3: They are.
- 16:31Speaker 2: And there does seem to be a split emerging in
- 16:34Speaker 2: the LGBT community, LGB with the other letters. It seems
- 16:40Speaker 2: to be how do you see this movement evolving in
- 16:43Speaker 2: the coming years.
- 16:47Speaker 9: Well, I actually think that more people are standing up
- 16:51Speaker 9: and calling out the transgender orthodoxy that you're not allowed
- 16:56Speaker 9: to question, You're not even allowed to question anything about it,
- 17:01Speaker 9: and you just get threatened with, you know, slander, getting
- 17:05Speaker 9: called a turf, getting called a Nazi, getting called a predator,
- 17:10Speaker 9: and it just seems that there will be a huge
- 17:12Speaker 9: split I think in the coming years.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I think you're right there. I think we're already seeing it.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I still think the other side have got the majority, though,
- 17:23Speaker 2: but more and more people I finding courage and speaking out.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It is difficult, though, I think a lot of people
- 17:30Speaker 2: self censor in that community because, as you said, if
- 17:33Speaker 2: you speak out, you can be excommunicated, you can be
- 17:37Speaker 2: called all sorts of nasty slurs, and really no one
- 17:40Speaker 2: wants to face that into in their day to day life.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Harvam Mendel, It's a been a pleasure. Thank you so
- 17:45Speaker 2: much for your time tonight.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Ruder coming up, Lefties Losing Ed plus the latest from
- 17:53Speaker 2: the US, including JD Vance's appearance on the View. John
- 17:57Speaker 2: Heindereiker is next. You're watching the Reader Patty Show, and
- 18:10Speaker 2: it's time for Lefty's Losing It. And let's start with
- 18:14Speaker 2: this miscreant who disrupts passengers trying to get off a
- 18:18Speaker 2: plane to announce a support for a killer, to announce
- 18:21Speaker 2: a support for Carmelo Anthony.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Ex killed me. Everybody. I'm going to stream at university.
- 18:28Speaker 3: But most importantly, free Cuomelo, thank you. Just gross.
- 18:33Speaker 2: And talking about gross, let's check in with insufferable late
- 18:36Speaker 2: night flog Jimmy Kimmel, who is continuing to have a
- 18:40Speaker 2: meltdown about UFC Freedom two fifty. He's now likning it
- 18:45Speaker 2: to a mini January sixth. Well without all those federal
- 18:49Speaker 2: agents starting trouble.
- 18:50Speaker 11: I guess they had fighters warming up in the diplomatic
- 18:52Speaker 11: reception room. They had a guy in the cabinet room,
- 18:56Speaker 11: they had fighters in the Roosevelt.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Room, they had a guy in the oval.
- 19:01Speaker 11: Alongside Trump's wackle wall of fame that he put up.
- 19:05Speaker 11: And finally they had an event right out there on
- 19:08Speaker 11: the Truman balcony where listen to this very closely here,
- 19:11Speaker 11: because you're gonna hear a sound that had not been uttered.
- 19:15Speaker 11: That's quite like a many January sixth.
- 19:19Speaker 2: You know, you just made it seem even cooler with
- 19:21Speaker 2: all those clips. Imagine being mad about such an awesome event. Now,
- 19:36Speaker 2: if you thought Jimmy Kimmel was out of his mind,
- 19:39Speaker 2: would hate in hysteria get a hold of these two.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Here is former Sin and anchor Jim A. Costa and
- 19:45Speaker 2: supposed historian Heather Cox Richardson. Now Heather likens the impulse
- 19:53Speaker 2: behind the UFC event to black people being lynched.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I'm not kidding, But is this cultural war that turn
- 20:01Speaker 4: white Americans against marginalized people of color. That's the bottom
- 20:06Speaker 4: line there. So I mean, I mean, it's not really
- 20:08Speaker 4: a stretch to say that the same impulse that created
- 20:12Speaker 4: the UFC fight on the White House lawn is the
- 20:15Speaker 4: impulse that really pushed lynching in the late nineteenth century
- 20:18Speaker 4: against black Americans.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Now to what you've all been waiting for the highlights
- 20:23Speaker 2: of Vice President JD. Vans's appearance on the View, Yes,
- 20:27Speaker 2: it really happened earlier today, and much of it was
- 20:31Speaker 2: just six angry, out of touch women throwing abuse at
- 20:34Speaker 2: the veep. Lies abuse, manufactured narratives, but just don't ask
- 20:39Speaker 2: them to specify.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Any real grievances.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Here is woop Be Goldberg claiming that the Trump administration
- 20:46Speaker 2: is attacking, stigmatizing, minimizing black people. Look what happens when
- 20:52Speaker 2: JD asks her for an example, please to.
- 20:55Speaker 12: This administration that has allowed it to really stigmatize folks
- 21:04Speaker 12: of color. And you know how hard it is. You
- 21:08Speaker 12: have you have folks of color in your family. Sure,
- 21:11Speaker 12: so when you see, you know things the amatil stuff
- 21:17Speaker 12: coming down, or them doing all kinds of removal of
- 21:21Speaker 12: information of black heroes. How do you, how do you
- 21:26Speaker 12: how does that sit with you?
- 21:28Speaker 3: Well? What do you?
- 21:29Speaker 1: What exactly are you talking about? Because I want you
- 21:37Speaker 1: don't know what it's.
- 21:38Speaker 12: So in a lot of the museums, just there's.
- 21:45Speaker 2: So many I just you know, uh, so many, so
- 21:49Speaker 2: many that you can't name any now Here is both
- 21:53Speaker 2: Anna Navarro and Sonny Houston emoting wildly at the Vice
- 21:58Speaker 2: President who comes back and gives them a brilliant hands.
- 22:02Speaker 13: The lack of clean water, the lack of medical attention,
- 22:05Speaker 13: the lack of education. I would urge you, as a
- 22:08Speaker 13: Christian and as a father to visit those detention centers
- 22:11Speaker 13: where the children are being held.
- 22:13Speaker 10: The majority of people that ICE is rounding up and
- 22:16Speaker 10: taking out of their homes from their families. They're separating families,
- 22:21Speaker 10: they're using children as babe, but majority.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Are not criminal.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Can I respond to that?
- 22:25Speaker 3: Guys, let me just say this.
- 22:26Speaker 14: Okay, so you talk about the children, Here's what I'd say.
- 22:31Speaker 14: Do we know that during the last administration we had
- 22:35Speaker 14: tens of thousands of children who were sex trafficked by
- 22:38Speaker 14: the cartels, who are brought into our country in profoundly
- 22:42Speaker 14: dangerous and predatory conditions.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Talk about this administration.
- 22:45Speaker 1: But here's the point.
- 22:46Speaker 14: Unless you enforce the border, you invite that kind of conduct.
- 22:50Speaker 14: You think that our immigration policies are inhumane based on
- 22:53Speaker 14: the reporting of one person with a political bias, What
- 22:57Speaker 14: I'm telling you is that it's inhumane cartels to sex
- 23:01Speaker 14: traffic people across from.
- 23:06Speaker 2: That was a superb answer, and Sunny should know that
- 23:10Speaker 2: the majority of people ice the targeting actually do have
- 23:14Speaker 2: criminal charges or convictions. Now things got heated, heated between
- 23:19Speaker 2: Whoopi Goldberg and ann A Navarro. Watch this, do you
- 23:26Speaker 2: have to.
- 23:28Speaker 15: Please?
- 23:29Speaker 10: We have more with them?
- 23:30Speaker 12: The Vice president j vance when we come back.
- 23:32Speaker 16: Don't do that?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeahanna, don't do that. Please imagine how dementedly left and
- 23:40Speaker 2: angry you have to be to upset Whoopee. The entire
- 23:43Speaker 2: interview was, as I said, just irrational. Banshee is throwing
- 23:47Speaker 2: a bunch of invective and lies at the Vice president
- 23:50Speaker 2: and he calmly and must be said, politely correcting their
- 23:54Speaker 2: false narratives. Now ask yourself, does Joy Beja and all
- 23:59Speaker 2: the other believe their own lies? Are they misinformed? Ignorant
- 24:05Speaker 2: or just dishonest.
- 24:07Speaker 13: So President Trump has called affordability a hoax.
- 24:11Speaker 3: He said that, not me.
- 24:13Speaker 4: He's pouring money into this ballroom of his.
- 24:15Speaker 12: Everybody knows that Americans are struggling.
- 24:17Speaker 3: What is he spending all this money for.
- 24:19Speaker 14: Well, I got to defend the president on the hoax point.
- 24:22Speaker 14: What the President said is the idea that Republicans cause
- 24:25Speaker 14: the affordability problem is a hoax. And I think that's
- 24:28Speaker 14: true if you go back to the Biden administration. Infleetion
- 24:32Speaker 14: got up to nine percent under the Biden administration. Okay,
- 24:35Speaker 14: right now it's at three point five percent, by the way,
- 24:37Speaker 14: too high. We're doing everything that we can to bring
- 24:39Speaker 14: it back down the two and a half percent, which
- 24:41Speaker 14: is where most people would like to see it. But
- 24:43Speaker 14: we inherited an affordability problem.
- 24:45Speaker 2: A very polite fact check there from the Veep, and
- 24:49Speaker 2: seconds later and a Navara jumps in again to throw
- 24:52Speaker 2: another lie at the Vice President, and as he tries
- 24:56Speaker 2: to give her the facts, we'll be goldberg into Jecks
- 24:59Speaker 2: saying that's not what he said, That's not what the
- 25:02Speaker 2: President said. These women want to be misinformed and angry.
- 25:07Speaker 3: It's a choice, just said he loves the inflation.
- 25:10Speaker 14: What he said, Anna, what he said is that he
- 25:13Speaker 14: loves the fact that the inflation is going to come
- 25:15Speaker 14: down when this war is over.
- 25:17Speaker 10: That's that's what he said.
- 25:22Speaker 14: Or Vice president, well, look look what the president said.
- 25:28Speaker 14: People were asking about the inflation, they were asking about
- 25:30Speaker 14: the affordability problem, which again is very real. And what
- 25:32Speaker 14: he said is I love the inflation because it's going
- 25:35Speaker 14: to come down when the war is over.
- 25:37Speaker 3: And you know what, that is precisely what the President said.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Think about it. Why would he say he loves inflation.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Are these women stupid? Are they ignorant or just lying?
- 25:48Speaker 2: There are no other options at this point, because you
- 25:51Speaker 2: can check this stuff out for yourself. Here is the
- 25:54Speaker 2: president's direct quote, and this is via NBC, hardly a
- 25:58Speaker 2: Trump friendly network. President Trump said, I love the inflation.
- 26:02Speaker 2: You know why, because as soon as this war is over,
- 26:06Speaker 2: when the war is over, it's coming down. It's going
- 26:09Speaker 2: to come down like a rock. That's what the president said.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Not that he loves high prices and inflation. But the
- 26:16Speaker 2: ladies of the view and the left do not bother
- 26:19Speaker 2: themselves with little things like facts or context. Let's bring
- 26:24Speaker 2: in Center for the American Experiment president and co founder
- 26:27Speaker 2: of the popular power Line blog, John Heindreicher. John, tell
- 26:32Speaker 2: me about this interview. Was it ill advised or was
- 26:36Speaker 2: it a master stroke?
- 26:38Speaker 3: JD.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Vance certainly had the measure of the ladies on the view,
- 26:42Speaker 2: but the crowd.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Was against him.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It was just relentless attack. What's the point of turning
- 26:49Speaker 2: up to an interview like that?
- 26:52Speaker 17: Well, Rita, I admire Advance for being willing to go
- 26:55Speaker 17: on with these purpose and all six of them were
- 26:58Speaker 17: there today. The lives that they come out with are
- 27:01Speaker 17: such obvious falsehoods. It makes you wonder do they do
- 27:05Speaker 17: this day after day after day or they usually JD.
- 27:08Speaker 17: Evans isn't there to correct them. I think the answer
- 27:11Speaker 17: is yes, they do. I think this is yes content
- 27:14Speaker 17: every single day. The network ought to have to report
- 27:17Speaker 17: their budget as a political contribution to the Democratic National Committee.
- 27:24Speaker 17: So you know, I admire Vance for doing it, but
- 27:26Speaker 17: I'm afraid that the audience for this program might just
- 27:30Speaker 17: be hopeless.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Well, I'll have to get your take. I'm put the
- 27:35Speaker 3: question out there.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Are they just misinformed, ignorant or are they lying because
- 27:42Speaker 2: they seem to earnestly believe what they're saying every false
- 27:46Speaker 2: narrative they put to JD. Vans, every bit of faken news,
- 27:51Speaker 2: they seem to genuinely believe it.
- 27:53Speaker 17: John, Yeah, I think these are not intelligent women. They're
- 27:58Speaker 17: not well in for women. They'll hear a snippet, you know,
- 28:02Speaker 17: a certaince fragment, and they'll see this, you know, on
- 28:05Speaker 17: social media or something. Oh, Donald Trump said he loves inflation.
- 28:09Speaker 17: That's absurd, it's ridiculous. But yeah, I think they are
- 28:12Speaker 17: so uninformed that they see something like that they may
- 28:15Speaker 17: actually believe it.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Now we're learning more about a terror plot foiled by
- 28:22Speaker 2: the FBI that was targeting the UFC Freedom two hundred
- 28:26Speaker 2: and fifty event at the White House.
- 28:29Speaker 18: The FBI and its law enforcement partners disrupting an alleged
- 28:32Speaker 18: plot targeting this past weekends UFC Freedom too fifty event.
- 28:37Speaker 18: Offici'll say nearly two dozen plotters were identified, with five
- 28:40Speaker 18: people now in custody, the investigation stretching across at least
- 28:44Speaker 18: a dozen FBI field officers.
- 28:47Speaker 2: John, I'm not sure how sophisticated this attack was, but
- 28:51Speaker 2: from what authorities say, there's been multiple arrests, and the
- 28:55Speaker 2: alleged terrorists plan to use explosive laden drugs to strike
- 29:01Speaker 2: buildings around the UFC event, and they were hoping to
- 29:04Speaker 2: spark a mass panic and drive fleeing crowds towards a
- 29:08Speaker 2: sniper team. I mean, if that was going to happen,
- 29:11Speaker 2: that would be a mass casualty event. And then there
- 29:14Speaker 2: was a second wave allegedly organized to storm the White
- 29:18Speaker 2: House gate. This is according to law enforcement officials. This
- 29:22Speaker 2: sounds rather serious.
- 29:23Speaker 17: John Well, the concept preata is definitely troubling. I mean,
- 29:28Speaker 17: using explosive drones that is twenty first century warfare, and
- 29:33Speaker 17: it would be very dangerous in the hands of a
- 29:36Speaker 17: competent group. There's no doubt about that. Now, how capable
- 29:39Speaker 17: this group was we don't know yet, But frankly, I'm
- 29:42Speaker 17: pretty skeptical. This plot came to light because the mother
- 29:46Speaker 17: of one of the plotters saw messages on the signal application,
- 29:51Speaker 17: and one of the plotters reportedly is now living in
- 29:54Speaker 17: a metal institution. So whether these people really had explosive drone,
- 30:00Speaker 17: they really were prepared with the sniper team, I will
- 30:03Speaker 17: probably find out a due course, but the concept is
- 30:06Speaker 17: clearly troubling.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Well, the president didn't seem to be true troubled by it.
- 30:13Speaker 2: He was asked about this alleged plot earlier today, and
- 30:17Speaker 2: he made light of it. He said, the only attack
- 30:19Speaker 2: he knew of was between the fighters.
- 30:22Speaker 18: Yeah, I wanted an attack.
- 30:25Speaker 15: I haven't heard about it, but I watched the attack
- 30:28Speaker 15: that I watched were the fighters. And he saw it too,
- 30:31Speaker 15: by the way, he was sitting back home in his
- 30:33Speaker 15: beautiful palace and he was watching it. And they were
- 30:37Speaker 15: as good as fights as I've ever seen, the best.
- 30:40Speaker 15: That last fight was brutal.
- 30:43Speaker 2: John, How concerned is the Trump administration about further terrorist attacks,
- 30:50Speaker 2: further assassination attempts against the president, perhaps the vice president.
- 30:54Speaker 2: There's going to be rallies coming up leading up to
- 30:57Speaker 2: the midterms, and is this something that is top of
- 31:01Speaker 2: mind for the administration.
- 31:04Speaker 17: Well, it's got to be, reader. I mean, Trump can't
- 31:07Speaker 17: spend his time worrying about being assassinated, and I'm sure
- 31:10Speaker 17: he doesn't. But look, there have already been three attempts
- 31:13Speaker 17: on his life, others that have been broken up. And
- 31:16Speaker 17: the reality is the Democratic Party is trying to get
- 31:19Speaker 17: President Trump killed. The stuff they put out day after
- 31:23Speaker 17: day after day, the stuff you see on social media,
- 31:26Speaker 17: the insane attacks on him by the leaders of the
- 31:29Speaker 17: Democratic Party. They clearly are trying to incite assassination, and
- 31:34Speaker 17: it's got to be something that the administration is very
- 31:37Speaker 17: concerned about.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Now.
- 31:40Speaker 2: You ran a piece in the power Line blog about
- 31:43Speaker 2: the United States Attorney for Minnesota, Dan Rosen unseiling the
- 31:48Speaker 2: indictment of fifteen members of Minnesota's Antifa brigade. Tell me
- 31:53Speaker 2: about this, and I've got to stress the we're not
- 31:56Speaker 2: talking about just legal protesters, about people who are violent agitators.
- 32:04Speaker 17: Yeah, Atifa is a violent criminal gang. And during the
- 32:08Speaker 17: press conference, they played a social media video of one
- 32:12Speaker 17: of the leaders of the local Antifa group rallying people
- 32:15Speaker 17: to fight ice and he specifically says, this is not
- 32:19Speaker 17: about peaceful protests. You need to bring guns. So no,
- 32:24Speaker 17: this is violent criminal conduct. It is interfering with and
- 32:29Speaker 17: endangering the lives of law enforcement personnel.
- 32:34Speaker 2: And we saw at least one of these agitators bring
- 32:37Speaker 2: a gun and he was shot dead in a violent
- 32:42Speaker 2: clash with officers. So it is troubling what Antifa have
- 32:48Speaker 2: got away with for many years. It's good that there's
- 32:50Speaker 2: some attention on them now. Now President Trump has announced
- 32:53Speaker 2: more than one trillion dollars of investment into the US
- 32:58Speaker 2: by Qatar.
- 33:00Speaker 3: That takes Qatar's total.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Investment announcements into the US to nineteen trillion. So a
- 33:06Speaker 2: tay the certainly an economic force. But can the Qataris
- 33:11Speaker 2: be trusted.
- 33:13Speaker 17: I don't think they could be trusted Rita. Qatar has
- 33:15Speaker 17: been two faced. It's been involved in financing terrorism. It
- 33:20Speaker 17: is the largest donor to American universities, and it uses
- 33:24Speaker 17: that money to promote and Islamist agend. It's one of
- 33:28Speaker 17: the reasons why you see this crazed anti Semitism on
- 33:32Speaker 17: American college campuses. At the same time, Qatar is also
- 33:35Speaker 17: strongly anti Iran. Now, as far as this investment goes,
- 33:39Speaker 17: there's a big difference between announcing a trillion dollar investment
- 33:44Speaker 17: and actually making a trillion dollar investment. So we'll see
- 33:48Speaker 17: whether these pledges are actually followed up. We'll follow it
- 33:51Speaker 17: and see what happens. But if these are legitimate investments
- 33:55Speaker 17: and they actually come through, that's great.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Now there's been more controversy at the World Cup, with
- 34:02Speaker 2: FIFA being condemned for siding with the murderous Islamist Iranian regime.
- 34:08Speaker 2: They were taking away the flags of freedom fighters at
- 34:12Speaker 2: Iran's game.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Have a look this flag.
- 34:15Speaker 7: Here's a prohibitent itus.
- 34:17Speaker 13: So if you've wanted an iriation, then you can go
- 34:20Speaker 13: back to your car and put it in your car.
- 34:22Speaker 4: But if you want to stay and enjoy the match,
- 34:24Speaker 4: we do need you to hand it over too much.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Look at them, look at them. They're not letting us
- 34:29Speaker 3: have our flags. This is that true, This is that
- 34:31Speaker 3: true Iranian flag? And look at them. Look at this FIFA.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Look at the FIFA.
- 34:35Speaker 16: What's going on here?
- 34:36Speaker 3: They're taking us, they take us our flag, he said,
- 34:39Speaker 3: if they if you don't surrounded our flags, they will
- 34:41Speaker 3: take us out of the stadium.
- 34:43Speaker 2: John, the US is in a war with Iran. Why
- 34:47Speaker 2: are FIFA siding with the regime here? And despite their
- 34:51Speaker 2: best efforts, if you had to look at the crowd
- 34:54Speaker 2: during the game, there were plenty of Iranian flags with
- 34:58Speaker 2: the lion instead of the Islamic text, which is the
- 35:02Speaker 2: flag of the Islamist regime. Is there going to be
- 35:06Speaker 2: any blowback from perhaps the Trump administration asking FIFA what
- 35:09Speaker 2: are you doing here?
- 35:12Speaker 17: I don't know. You know what's interesting isn't that the
- 35:14Speaker 17: international sports organizations always seem to side with the wrong side.
- 35:20Speaker 17: You see it over and over again. I don't know
- 35:22Speaker 17: why that flag is a prohibited item, as that woman said,
- 35:26Speaker 17: but it's an unprecedented situation. Rona is playing soccer matches
- 35:30Speaker 17: in a country with which it's currently at war. There
- 35:33Speaker 17: have been a number of issues. The Iranian team's training
- 35:36Speaker 17: base is actually in Tijuana, Mexico, and they're flying back
- 35:39Speaker 17: and forth between Mexico and the United States to play
- 35:43Speaker 17: their matches. I do think the fact that they're able
- 35:46Speaker 17: to play here at all is good, and in many
- 35:49Speaker 17: countries it would not have been possible.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Well, I remember when the Russian War started in Russia
- 35:57Speaker 2: invaded Ukraine. There were Russian athletes who warned Ale to
- 36:00Speaker 2: compete and that it was a very hard line approach.
- 36:04Speaker 2: There were tennis stars who couldn't compete in major Grand
- 36:08Speaker 2: Slam events. And now you've got Iran participating in the
- 36:11Speaker 2: World Cup in North America. But they were ordered John
- 36:15Speaker 2: to leave the country immediately after their match, so I
- 36:19Speaker 2: think that came as a bit of a shock. They
- 36:20Speaker 2: had to go back to their base in Mexico. Now,
- 36:23Speaker 2: before you go, can you please give my audience the
- 36:27Speaker 2: latest on the GOP battle in Georgia. We've seen another
- 36:32Speaker 2: Trump backed candidate win in, Mike Collins, and I think
- 36:38Speaker 2: the Republicans think he could possibly unseat Democrat Senator John Ossoff.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Is that wishful thinking, John.
- 36:49Speaker 17: Well tonight? I wishful thinking at all. Rito Collins definitely
- 36:52Speaker 17: has a chance us up as a very mediocre senator
- 36:56Speaker 17: at best, he was elected by a single point. The
- 36:59Speaker 17: early polling in this race was very close, within three
- 37:03Speaker 17: or four points, even before Collins was officially the Republican nominee.
- 37:08Speaker 17: So he definitely has a chance. And I think it's
- 37:11Speaker 17: likely to come down to the national mood at the
- 37:14Speaker 17: time of the election. It's a It's a midterm election,
- 37:18Speaker 17: probably favorable to the Democrats, so a lot is going
- 37:21Speaker 17: to depend on how popular or unpopular is President Trump,
- 37:25Speaker 17: whether it be a blue wave as the Democrats are hoping.
- 37:29Speaker 17: If the blue wave doesn't materialize, and I suspect that
- 37:32Speaker 17: it won't, then I think us Off is definitely vulnerable.
- 37:38Speaker 2: That is fascinating. And if the blue wave does materialize,
- 37:42Speaker 2: are we just going to have two years of trying
- 37:45Speaker 2: to impage Donald Trump?
- 37:48Speaker 17: Exactly? I doubt that if the Democrats take the House,
- 37:51Speaker 17: it probably won't be forty eight hours before they passed
- 37:54Speaker 17: their first impeachment resolution.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Well then nothing if no predictable. John Heinderracher, thank you
- 38:02Speaker 2: so much for your time tonight. Thank you still to come.
- 38:07Speaker 2: What World Cup ad has been called cheap and tacky?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Michael Lofts is up next with the latest entertainment news.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Welcome back.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Let's hear now from an alleged comedian, Mark Maron, who
- 38:30Speaker 2: is about as funny as an ingrown tonal and about
- 38:33Speaker 2: as relevant. Here is slandering funny comics like Theovonne, and
- 38:39Speaker 2: he's supported in his delusions by the equally unpleasant and
- 38:43Speaker 2: delusional Kara Swisher.
- 38:45Speaker 3: You criticized with the Manisphere.
- 38:47Speaker 2: One notable line was if Hitler were alive today, he'd
- 38:49Speaker 2: probably appear on Theovan's podcast.
- 38:52Speaker 19: Look, I don't want to be diplomatic about this. My
- 38:56Speaker 19: problem with those guys is that they were sucking up
- 38:58Speaker 19: to fascists and the promoting the end of liberal democracy
- 39:03Speaker 19: and the beginning of authoritarianism. To me, that was plain
- 39:06Speaker 19: and clear to see. Was like they were boot liquors
- 39:08Speaker 19: and they were pawns. But I also think they were suckers,
- 39:11Speaker 19: and I also think that some of them are grifters.
- 39:13Speaker 19: They're gonna go to where the money is?
- 39:15Speaker 3: Did they get mad at him?
- 39:16Speaker 19: How could THEO get mad at me?
- 39:18Speaker 8: This?
- 39:19Speaker 19: It's funny, right, But they're sensitive.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Talk about projection.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Not only are these two the actually hypersensitive types, but
- 39:29Speaker 2: nothing about his laying joke was funny or edgy, a
- 39:33Speaker 2: hitler joke. Really, dude, you should be embarrassed. Let's bring
- 39:37Speaker 2: in writer and comic Michael Loftus.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Michael, what did you make of that?
- 39:43Speaker 2: I mean, that is just sad and he thinks that
- 39:47Speaker 2: was a real gotcha moment?
- 39:50Speaker 20: Yeah, Mark Maren. And I'm pretty sure Mark lives in
- 39:54Speaker 20: Los Angeles. He's talking about THEO Vonn, who's incredibly funny
- 39:58Speaker 20: and incredibly original, and Mark Maron lives down the road
- 40:02Speaker 20: from where the mayor did nothing to about the Pacific
- 40:06Speaker 20: powas Aedes fire, and that whole election was a joke. Yeah,
- 40:10Speaker 20: Mark Maren, you might want to stop looking at what
- 40:13Speaker 20: THEO Vaughn's doing and poke your head out the window.
- 40:16Speaker 20: And by the way, it's not eighteen ninety two. You
- 40:19Speaker 20: can shave that little ridiculous I want to be a
- 40:23Speaker 20: cowboy mustache now.
- 40:27Speaker 2: That the whole thing was just really quite an unpleasant
- 40:30Speaker 2: little exercise but you know what, I took one for
- 40:33Speaker 2: the team and listen to that little exchange.
- 40:35Speaker 3: It did not get any better.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Now here are words you won't hear on this program
- 40:39Speaker 2: too often. Let's check in on Jennifer Lopez. We can
- 40:43Speaker 2: no longer ignore the attention seeking Jlo, who is right
- 40:47Speaker 2: now being mocked for her weird celebration of the Knicks
- 40:51Speaker 2: championship win. Thank god someone was there in her living
- 40:55Speaker 2: room to record this totally real, totally sincere reaction.
- 41:01Speaker 14: That's it.
- 41:09Speaker 16: Yeah, Oh my god.
- 41:31Speaker 2: She's real young As clear, this woman has no one
- 41:34Speaker 2: in her in a circle. He tells her, no, because
- 41:37Speaker 2: someone should have told her this next claim would make
- 41:40Speaker 2: her look ridiculous.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Here she is.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Claiming that as a teenager, she was giving tax advice.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Have any of you actually ever worked in an office?
- 41:51Speaker 3: I have not, I have you have?
- 41:54Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 41:55Speaker 2: In high school, I worked in a law office and
- 41:57Speaker 2: I did taxes and I was very good at it.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Are you thinking math? Yes?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Yes?
- 42:03Speaker 11: Wow, yeah, you're a tax lawyer in high school?
- 42:07Speaker 15: I was?
- 42:11Speaker 3: I was. I was.
- 42:12Speaker 2: She genuinely believes that, Michael, she was giving tax advice
- 42:16Speaker 2: as as a teenager at high school working part time
- 42:21Speaker 2: in a law office. I mean, the level of delusion
- 42:24Speaker 2: on that woman is next level.
- 42:26Speaker 3: But she does look incredible.
- 42:29Speaker 1: She does.
- 42:30Speaker 20: She's not just Jenny from the Block, She's Jenny from.
- 42:34Speaker 3: The Age and R Block.
- 42:36Speaker 8: She was too much.
- 42:39Speaker 20: My heart goes out to anybody who had her prepare
- 42:42Speaker 20: their taxes.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Why am I go, Wow, they're seizing my house.
- 42:48Speaker 20: It looks like you had your taxes done by a
- 42:51Speaker 20: fourteen year old want to be actress. And the celebration.
- 42:56Speaker 20: I don't know where Jaylo was watching the game, but
- 42:59Speaker 20: this obviously was.
- 43:00Speaker 16: In New York.
- 43:00Speaker 20: There would have been hunks of school buses and yellow cabs.
- 43:04Speaker 20: There would have been fires in the window. I think
- 43:07Speaker 20: she probably had someone on standby because you notice, like
- 43:11Speaker 20: the camera starts so right on her booty, right, that's
- 43:16Speaker 20: her big thing. It's j Loo's booty. And I tell
- 43:19Speaker 20: it as a former flygirl. If she was really happy,
- 43:22Speaker 20: now's the time to make it. Clap j Lo, you
- 43:25Speaker 20: let us down.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I wonder, I don't want to be cynical, but whether
- 43:31Speaker 2: those final moments in the game were perhaps replayed so
- 43:34Speaker 2: she could get her reaction just.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Right and the camera angles.
- 43:37Speaker 2: But you know, let's not over analyze that one Brooklyn Beckham.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Now he's facing backlash after referencing his ongoing feud with
- 43:48Speaker 2: his parents in a World Cup ad for door Dash.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Have a look.
- 43:54Speaker 5: You're probably wondering why I'm watching the fee for World
- 43:56Speaker 5: Cup twenty twenty six from home.
- 43:59Speaker 1: It's a long st.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Michael.
- 44:05Speaker 2: It's a little chapin tacky, isn't it.
- 44:08Speaker 20: It's very cheap and tacky. And also it's it's very questionable,
- 44:14Speaker 20: like why did they hire this guy to do an ad?
- 44:17Speaker 1: I really thought this.
- 44:18Speaker 20: Was an advertisement for like some kind of rehab. I'm like,
- 44:21Speaker 20: is he gonna have an ankle bracelet on? Is that
- 44:24Speaker 20: why he can't leave the house? And then like I
- 44:27Speaker 20: don't even know who he is.
- 44:29Speaker 1: He's like, I have to get door Dash. It's a
- 44:32Speaker 1: long story.
- 44:33Speaker 20: Does the long story involve you doing anything interesting? Does
- 44:37Speaker 20: the long story involve you doing anything of note or merit?
- 44:41Speaker 20: Because I know your mom did cool stuff and I
- 44:43Speaker 20: know your dad did cool stuff, but you're just like
- 44:45Speaker 20: a guy who couldn't hop in the shower and get
- 44:48Speaker 20: his own food.
- 44:49Speaker 1: You suck.
- 44:51Speaker 12: Well.
- 44:52Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 44:52Speaker 2: He put out a photography book and I've got to
- 44:55Speaker 2: say it is some of the worst photography that's ever
- 44:59Speaker 2: been published. It really is quite it's almost comical. It's
- 45:03Speaker 2: so bad. But you're so right. I mean, if I
- 45:06Speaker 2: saw that ad and I couldn't see the name of
- 45:08Speaker 2: the person, which you shouldn't have to put up.
- 45:11Speaker 3: I have no idea who is Now I do know
- 45:14Speaker 3: who this next person is. He's a former SANDED anchor.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Jim Acosta hosted an eleven hour live stream waiting for
- 45:24Speaker 2: the removal of President Trump's name from the Kennedy Center
- 45:28Speaker 2: in DC. The coverage mostly featured a live shot of scaffolding,
- 45:32Speaker 2: but have a listen as he compares it to the
- 45:35Speaker 2: Berlin Wall coming down.
- 45:38Speaker 19: This is very much like watching the Berlin Wall coming down.
- 45:43Speaker 1: It is a sign that.
- 45:46Speaker 19: Mankind, that humankind can stand up against tyranny.
- 45:50Speaker 3: You know, I've long said this.
- 45:52Speaker 2: This man needs serious help, Michael, serious help of only
- 45:56Speaker 2: a professional call provide.
- 45:59Speaker 20: Yes, he needs to move in with that Brooklyn Beckham
- 46:03Speaker 20: guy and they can both order set door dash. But
- 46:06Speaker 20: this was an eleven hour marathon. It's easy to believe
- 46:11Speaker 20: that CNN fired this guy. Like, who thinks this is
- 46:14Speaker 20: an eleven hour story? Oh, you know, we'll do We'll
- 46:18Speaker 20: set up a camera We'll be out here as long
- 46:20Speaker 20: as it take. This guy, Jim Acosta, he went home
- 46:23Speaker 20: and went to bed, which is what you do when
- 46:26Speaker 20: there's an event like the Berlin Wall coming down. I
- 46:28Speaker 20: remember all the reporters did that. They're like, oh, the
- 46:31Speaker 20: wall is about to come down. Let's all go grab
- 46:34Speaker 20: a nap and have our producers stay out here and
- 46:36Speaker 20: then just wake us up when it comes down. This guy,
- 46:40Speaker 20: he's Looney Tunes.
- 46:42Speaker 3: He is Looney Tunes.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Now, this is Looney Tunes in itself, and it's a
- 46:47Speaker 2: little bit sad. I've got to say our actress, and
- 46:51Speaker 2: Shdeen and Shadeen has died. She was aged seventy seven.
- 46:56Speaker 2: But listen to the statement her family released. She said
- 47:00Speaker 2: she leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of creative energy, whip
- 47:05Speaker 2: smart humor, delight in her family, adoration for little dogs,
- 47:11Speaker 2: burning hatred for Trump, passion for secondhand thrifting, and love
- 47:17Speaker 2: for a good story.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Michael, what an awful eulogy.
- 47:21Speaker 2: What an awful way to announce the passing of anyone,
- 47:24Speaker 2: let alone someone who was at once famous. It makes
- 47:30Speaker 2: a look, or makes a family look a little bit demented.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Exactly right.
- 47:37Speaker 20: It's like you wonder what happens to these hyperwoke people
- 47:40Speaker 20: who think that the world is out to get them
- 47:42Speaker 20: and Trump is the worst, and yeah, it goes down
- 47:44Speaker 20: to your kids and then when you pass away, and
- 47:47Speaker 20: they rate the worst eulogy ever. She loved dogs, loved
- 47:52Speaker 20: a good story and a good joke, and she hated Trump.
- 47:55Speaker 20: You know what, she must liked puppets because she worked
- 47:59Speaker 20: with puppets on that show, and she was a big
- 48:01Speaker 20: Biden supporter, so obviously she's got a thing. She's got
- 48:06Speaker 20: a thing for lovable puppets.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Well, at least Alf didn't suffer any cognitive decline during
- 48:13Speaker 2: that program.
- 48:13Speaker 3: It was actually quite funny. Michael Loftus always a pleasure.
- 48:17Speaker 3: Thank you so much for your time. And that's it
- 48:20Speaker 3: from me. Don't go anywhere. Newsnight is up next
