- 2:31Speaker 1: hear from you do love to hear so who called in?
- 2:34Speaker 2: We have Raccoon Bronwyn and she's got a comment about
- 2:38Speaker 2: I think Cody Brown.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Okay, ey, the Raccoon Queens.
- 2:42Speaker 4: This is Bronwin. Hey, I had some thoughts I wanted
- 2:46Speaker 4: to share with you. I am completely convinced that this
- 2:50Speaker 4: is the last season four Sister Wives. Here's why. So
- 2:56Speaker 4: they've been two years behind, and you guys talked about
- 2:59Speaker 4: that early are and now all of a sudden, because
- 3:03Speaker 4: of Garrison, they're going to have to bring it up
- 3:05Speaker 4: to current day. And they've already talked about in the
- 3:09Speaker 4: press release that they are going to be discussing Garrison's
- 3:12Speaker 4: death at some point. So they're bringing it up to
- 3:15Speaker 4: current day. And then what are they going to do.
- 3:18Speaker 4: They're all over the country and the everything is changing.
- 3:24Speaker 4: They're not going to have enough content. I don't think
- 3:26Speaker 4: after this. Yes, that could be why Janelle moved and
- 3:32Speaker 4: how Cody and Robin are selling the house and all
- 3:36Speaker 4: of this stuff. I'm just really convinced that this is
- 3:39Speaker 4: it so curious to hear your thoughts, but yeah, I mean,
- 3:44Speaker 4: nothing that I've heard takes me away from that conclusion.
- 3:48Speaker 4: It really sounds like that's what's happening. So Yep, they're
- 3:52Speaker 4: going to have to find other jobs. Love it, Have
- 3:55Speaker 4: a great day, guys, good bye.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I do love that.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I love it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well, Well, what are your thoughts? What do you think?
- 4:02Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like we're at a crossroads. Like
- 4:04Speaker 2: I feel like we could just cancel the show right
- 4:07Speaker 2: now because it's not really Sister Wives anymore. It's Cody
- 4:11Speaker 2: and Robin and then the OG three, which everybody I
- 4:13Speaker 2: think would want to see a spinoff of the OG three,
- 4:16Speaker 2: like I would want to see what Janelle's doing in
- 4:19Speaker 2: her life and all that kind of stuff. But I
- 4:21Speaker 2: could see a world where it gets canceled. But I
- 4:24Speaker 2: feel like it won't. I feel like they're gonna keep
- 4:27Speaker 2: going at least to season twenty.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that this being the highest rated show
- 4:34Speaker 1: on TLC, this production company and this family, well in
- 4:39Speaker 1: particular Cody Brown, is very interested in keeping the show going.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They might have to get creative. They might have to
- 4:47Speaker 1: rethink how they want to show us this family. Whether
- 4:50Speaker 1: we're going to go to North Carolina with ta Ada
- 4:53Speaker 1: Farms and Janelle and Maddie and Caleb. What are we
- 4:56Speaker 1: going to spend more time with Christine and then there's
- 4:59Speaker 1: ma Her haunted BnB. I mean I just don't know
- 5:03Speaker 1: if there's enough there though, to make a compelling show.
- 5:08Speaker 1: What makes Sister Wives compelling is the underlying family dynamics,
- 5:13Speaker 1: which now in the last few seasons have come to
- 5:15Speaker 1: the surface and so it's full on drama and we've
- 5:18Speaker 1: been waiting for it, and that's what makes it good,
- 5:21Speaker 1: which is why I was saying last week that I
- 5:23Speaker 1: think Cody really is invested in portraying a villain. Whether
- 5:28Speaker 1: he feels that way or not, I feel like he
- 5:29Speaker 1: thinks he needs to do that in order to keep
- 5:33Speaker 1: this on the television. So I think they're going to
- 5:37Speaker 1: really want to try and create some additional seasons. I
- 5:40Speaker 1: just don't know what we're going to do. And furthermore,
- 5:42Speaker 1: if I may, they're going to do what they did
- 5:45Speaker 1: with Christine's wedding last year. They're going to fast forward
- 5:49Speaker 1: us to an event that happens in a current timeline,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and then in the next consecutive season they're going to
- 5:55Speaker 1: go right back to two years ago. Of course, they
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't give a shit. This is how they do it.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think that's why the show goes on
- 6:03Speaker 2: because they do backlog their content because they don't really
- 6:06Speaker 2: have a lot going on in general, Like even season seventeen,
- 6:09Speaker 2: it's like the biggest thing was Christine leaving, right, But like,
- 6:12Speaker 2: prior to that, what were we watching? Like nothing? Really,
- 6:16Speaker 2: I mean we were watching Cody and Robin, b Cody
- 6:19Speaker 2: and Robin and then the OG three you know, going
- 6:22Speaker 2: too like a picnic or like something dumb like that.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So yeah, I feel like they're gonna either have to
- 6:28Speaker 2: manufacture content or continue giving us old shit just to
- 6:33Speaker 2: keep the show running. Because Cody and Robin do need
- 6:35Speaker 2: a paycheck, they do need a job, yes, so I
- 6:38Speaker 2: feel like they're gonna want the show to continue.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Yeah, but the only reason you've got the ratings you
- 6:44Speaker 1: have right now is because the wives and the kids
- 6:46Speaker 1: have left you. That's really the only reason because previous
- 6:50Speaker 1: to that, like you said, it was boring, although I
- 6:52Speaker 1: think a lot of us watched because, uh, in some
- 6:55Speaker 1: ways it was interesting to see this family try to
- 6:58Speaker 1: function and be together and that was I think compelling television.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But like now, the reason you've got people here is
- 7:04Speaker 1: because the ship is sinking. Yeah, so you're gonna have
- 7:08Speaker 1: the same problem as something like a Real Housewives franchise,
- 7:11Speaker 1: which kind of started out in this innocent space of
- 7:14Speaker 1: like housewives and friends and lots of money and travel
- 7:18Speaker 1: and then turned into this garbage dumpster fire of toxic
- 7:22Speaker 1: women literally fighting each other, like I feel like, in
- 7:26Speaker 1: order to maintain the ratings we have now, it's gonna
- 7:29Speaker 1: have to stay dramatic, which I think Cody is willing
- 7:32Speaker 1: to do, and so is Robin, though she's gonna pretend
- 7:35Speaker 1: that she doesn't like it, right, and it's gonna be
- 7:37Speaker 1: the other wives who probably walk away at some point.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't think Janelle feels like she needs this.
- 7:42Speaker 2: No, I mean, she's gonna make money with her farm
- 7:44Speaker 2: and living with Maddie and Caleb and she'll be fine,
- 7:48Speaker 2: And same with Christine. She's got her own bullshit, Mary's
- 7:50Speaker 2: got her NLMs, like they're gonna be fine. But yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I mean it might turn into like Welcome to Blatfell,
- 7:58Speaker 2: like this Currencys, where it's everybody's gotten divorced and now
- 8:02Speaker 2: we're just manufacturing bullshit that nobody wants to see.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yep, Olivia speed dating, introducing characters nobody cares about.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Like literally, no one cares so unless you're gonna give
- 8:13Speaker 2: us real stuff or drama, because everybody's addicted to drama
- 8:16Speaker 2: and toxic trash, then nobody's gonna want to watch.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Yeah. I like the direction it's going right now, though,
- 8:24Speaker 1: because we're actually having some of the wives talk about
- 8:27Speaker 1: the real shit. We're actually getting into Coyote Pass, we're
- 8:31Speaker 1: getting into who's on the deed, we're getting into lawyers.
- 8:35Speaker 3: And all this stuff we've been rabig about for years
- 8:38Speaker 3: be addressed.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So this is good. I'm just wondering if they're gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: keep it up. I'm wondering if production is actually tapped
- 8:44Speaker 1: in with what most of us want, or if it's
- 8:46Speaker 1: gonna fall apart, you know, and get super boring and
- 8:49Speaker 1: a lot of Michelty and Tony and twins and stuff.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I don't care about you being there at the birth, Robin,
- 8:55Speaker 3: I don't care about that.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Good it's probably gonna be a lot of that. No,
- 9:00Speaker 2: we don't need that. But TLC has a history of
- 9:02Speaker 2: not giving a shit about their fans, so they still
- 9:04Speaker 2: want to do it.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Why would they change it?
- 9:06Speaker 3: Exactly if they've got the highest ratings ever, why would
- 9:09Speaker 3: they change anything in the formula.
- 9:10Speaker 1: They wouldn't. But I foresee certainly a season twenty yeah,
- 9:15Speaker 1: and probably continuing to twenty one. Twenty two, twenty five.
- 9:20Speaker 1: For real, I think we have a few years of
- 9:22Speaker 1: them trying to cobble it together. I don't know if
- 9:24Speaker 1: it's going to work, but they are going to try
- 9:26Speaker 1: because it's a cash cow.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. I mean I can see up to
- 9:30Speaker 2: twenty But then after.
- 9:30Speaker 1: That, I'm like, what are we doing here?
- 9:32Speaker 2: What are we gonna watch? I mean, I'm still going
- 9:34Speaker 2: to watch them. Yeah, we're still watching. We're still in
- 9:38Speaker 2: the dumpster together, Like we're still doing rewind episodes and
- 9:41Speaker 2: I boring ass season, So like we're still going to
- 9:44Speaker 2: watch it.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And people that's like some of our most downloaded content
- 9:48Speaker 1: on the audio podcast. Everybody loves it. So we're still
- 9:52Speaker 1: talking about it. Yeah, we're still here, honey.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So I feel like if people are still going to
- 9:56Speaker 2: talk about it, it's still going.
- 9:57Speaker 4: To go on.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yep, even if it's going to be boring af yep. Lord,
- 10:01Speaker 2: But you know what's not boring? Christine is going to
- 10:05Speaker 2: be suing Cody Brown bitch, Oh I love it last week? Yes,
- 10:13Speaker 2: tell us, Well, Christine is going to sue Cody, or
- 10:18Speaker 2: is already suing Cody for retroactive child support up to
- 10:21Speaker 2: four years and custody, yes, truly, so probably full custody,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm assuming, yeah, which I love.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I love it as well. She's fully entitled to it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 10:32Speaker 1: They're probably going to have to do some kind of
- 10:34Speaker 1: a paternity test because I don't think that's customary in
- 10:37Speaker 1: polygamous families. Right, he's obviously the father. All those kids
- 10:41Speaker 1: look the same. Yeah, and he's going to be on
- 10:44Speaker 1: the hook based on what he makes. And if this
- 10:48Speaker 1: goes to say trial, and if we have something like
- 10:51Speaker 1: discovery and even depositions and we're going to go on record,
- 10:55Speaker 1: we're going to be able to see some of the
- 10:58Speaker 1: financials unless to keep it private. I don't know if
- 11:01Speaker 1: they can. I'm not a lawyer, but hopefully Cody has
- 11:05Speaker 1: some intelligence and he's like, okay, let's just settle this.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I agree to whatever. But she's entitled to it. And
- 11:11Speaker 1: I think it's very interesting that she waited until truly
- 11:14Speaker 1: was fourteen to do it, because that is the age
- 11:18Speaker 1: of I don't what do you call it agency? I
- 11:22Speaker 1: don't want to say consent because that's not the right thing.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Is she can choose where she lives and what parents
- 11:27Speaker 1: she spends her time with, and so truly can choose
- 11:30Speaker 1: to stay with Christine. He can't use visitation and custody
- 11:33Speaker 1: in that way to hang over Christine's head.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Ooh, so she did it on purpose like that, because
- 11:38Speaker 2: he would have thought it in court if she did
- 11:41Speaker 2: it earlier than this, because then he would been like, oh,
- 11:43Speaker 2: she's withholding custody of truly, like she's the evil person,
- 11:49Speaker 2: Like I shouldn't have to pay child support, but now
- 11:51Speaker 2: it's different. Now you do have to.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Custody interestingly, is not attached to visitation. Those are separate things.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Sometimes people try to make it an issue. No, even
- 12:00Speaker 1: if you never see your kid, you are still on
- 12:02Speaker 1: the hook to pay for that kid.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yep.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But he would have probably tried to do something manipulative like, Okay,
- 12:08Speaker 1: well I want to see truly fifty percent of the time. Yes,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and so truly truly fifteen percent of the time. And
- 12:15Speaker 1: so Christine, you're gonna have to drive your happy ass
- 12:18Speaker 1: from Salt Lake City the flag Staff twice a month.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'll do it twice a month, and she's gonna have
- 12:21Speaker 1: to stay here, yeah, and maybe go to school here.
- 12:23Speaker 1: He would have tried to do something like that definitly.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So that's why she waited and she was smart to
- 12:28Speaker 1: do so.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I love to see it, and I hope she gets
- 12:32Speaker 2: a lot of money in child sport, because it's not
- 12:34Speaker 2: like she's itching for money. It's not like she's poor,
- 12:37Speaker 2: she's successful. She's just doing this just to get at
- 12:39Speaker 2: Cody for all of the years he's robbed all of
- 12:42Speaker 2: the wives with der mcmhonsion and the weird figurines.
- 12:47Speaker 1: The assets, or as Mattie says, the assets.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Oh my god, and Robin's kids' cars.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Right, yeah, the fleet of cars that belong to Robin
- 12:55Speaker 1: and her children.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I think it's really interesting also that it's ropping kind
- 13:00Speaker 1: of at the same time that we have on the
- 13:03Speaker 1: television Janelle talking about lawyering up and having this stuff
- 13:07Speaker 1: kind of in the atmosphere.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I love to see it, me too, want more of it,
- 13:13Speaker 2: me too.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And even if she doesn't need the money, technically she
- 13:15Speaker 1: can just put that right into a college fund, right
- 13:18Speaker 1: into any kind of fund that truly can draw from,
- 13:20Speaker 1: like she's eighteen, because you know Cody's not going to
- 13:23Speaker 1: be supporting her. We know Cody doesn't give a crap
- 13:25Speaker 1: about truly, no, not at all.
- 13:27Speaker 2: He went to go make out with Robin when she
- 13:29Speaker 2: was getting bored.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yes, like what the well? And last week at the
- 13:33Speaker 1: Sprinkle he's playing with Avalon and he's not even acknowledging
- 13:37Speaker 1: truly his daughter's sitting right there on the couch.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, she's just sitting there, staring off into space. So
- 13:43Speaker 2: Dad doesn't give a shit.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Make him pay Drag, drag drag. It's about damn time. Real,
- 13:51Speaker 1: it's a justice indeed, Lizzo. All right, So let's get
- 13:56Speaker 1: into the episode again, Season nineteen, episode two entitled.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Let There Be Light. Yes, interesting title. Yes, it starts
- 14:06Speaker 2: off pretty strong because you get right into the Coyote
- 14:08Speaker 2: Pass discussion, and it's with Janelle and Maddie because they're
- 14:12Speaker 2: heading up to Montana to go look at property and
- 14:16Speaker 2: they're in the car talking about Coyote Pass and how
- 14:19Speaker 2: it needs to be paid off because apparently they still
- 14:22Speaker 2: haven't paid it off. I mean, this is twenty twenty
- 14:24Speaker 2: two right right now, so we already know it's been
- 14:27Speaker 2: paid off. But they're talking about Cody dragging his feet
- 14:32Speaker 2: essentially like he's not prioritizing it. He doesn't really give
- 14:35Speaker 2: a shit. He's not talking to Janelle about it. She
- 14:38Speaker 2: wants a paid off so she can be done and
- 14:40Speaker 2: free from him, which is fair.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yes one. And apparently, according to Janelle, Cody is not
- 14:48Speaker 1: just dragging his feet and not doing anything to pay
- 14:51Speaker 1: it off, but he's also not communicating with her and
- 14:55Speaker 1: telling her what the status of the property is and
- 14:58Speaker 1: what the plant, the over arching plant to pay off
- 15:00Speaker 1: the properties are, Like, he's just not doing it. And
- 15:03Speaker 1: then we have that lovely interstitial of him saying, yeah, well,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I don't talk to her about the property because that's
- 15:09Speaker 1: just information for the gossip mill, which I think is
- 15:14Speaker 1: him saying that Janelle will tell Maddie. I think it's
- 15:17Speaker 1: kind of coming out. It's becoming clearer and clearer that
- 15:21Speaker 1: Cody thinks Maddie is a problem. Yeah, and she's kind
- 15:25Speaker 1: of one of those kids who feels superior, who's in
- 15:28Speaker 1: a club and who is gossiping all the time about
- 15:30Speaker 1: him and Robin. So he doesn't want to talk to
- 15:32Speaker 1: Janelle because Janelle's going to talk to Maddie and then
- 15:35Speaker 1: the rest of the kids are going to hear about
- 15:37Speaker 1: what his plans are financially.
- 15:39Speaker 2: And that's so fucked up. And I think that shows
- 15:42Speaker 2: his financial abuse because he's you're not the sole owner
- 15:46Speaker 2: of this property, Like Janelle's name is on this shit,
- 15:49Speaker 2: So you don't you don't get to do that, my guy,
- 15:52Speaker 2: just because you're worried about your adult child who's like,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I don't know, thirty or something heading toward Yeah, something
- 15:58Speaker 2: like that, Like who gives shit what she says about you?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Maybe be a better person.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Well, I would give a shit if I knew that
- 16:05Speaker 1: one of my children was a hound dog who was
- 16:07Speaker 1: pissed off about her mother getting the short end of
- 16:10Speaker 1: the stick and having her know about my financial situation
- 16:15Speaker 1: and know about all the art and all the phoenix's
- 16:18Speaker 1: rising and bears that are hugging, and crystal towers and
- 16:22Speaker 1: Dickensie and villages, like Maddie already knows about that, because
- 16:26Speaker 1: as they're in the car, Janelle talks about how Cody
- 16:29Speaker 1: has been storing assets trailers, and then of course this artwork.
- 16:34Speaker 1: She actually calls out the artwork and they included in
- 16:37Speaker 1: the episode, which I love because of course Cody and
- 16:41Speaker 1: Robin have just put up their house. We saw a
- 16:42Speaker 1: little bit of that artwork, so obviously the kids are
- 16:45Speaker 1: seeing this too. The wives are seeing this, and Janelle
- 16:48Speaker 1: says something like it was my kids who were getting
- 16:52Speaker 1: pissed off my adult children. And when I finally began
- 16:54Speaker 1: to see, oh, yeah, this isn't fair, it was because
- 16:56Speaker 1: of my kids.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yes, she even talks about like looking back through all
- 17:00Speaker 2: the years and how she would be stuck in a
- 17:03Speaker 2: rental or she'd be having to get used stuff or
- 17:06Speaker 2: use furniture or whatever. Meanwhile, Robin's backyard is fully finished,
- 17:10Speaker 2: and Robin's got all this artwork, and her house is
- 17:13Speaker 2: bigger and it's nicer, and she'd be like, huh, that's weird.
- 17:17Speaker 2: M hmm. I think Janelle was in denial for a
- 17:19Speaker 2: long time because she didn't want to think that this
- 17:22Speaker 2: guy she had trusted for thirty years or whatever would
- 17:25Speaker 2: do something so heinous. But he has been doing it
- 17:27Speaker 2: this entire time.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, And that kind of leads me to this question
- 17:32Speaker 1: that I have about Janelle, because she's often referred to
- 17:35Speaker 1: like the record keeper and the financially astute wife and
- 17:40Speaker 1: the one who's bookkeeping everything and sees all the numbers
- 17:43Speaker 1: and like does the taxes and stuff like that. But Janelle,
- 17:47Speaker 1: why did you set yourself up to walk away with nothing?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Because at this point, as she's having this conversation with Maddie.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Cody could conceivably make the choice not to pay anything
- 17:58Speaker 1: further on the property on his end, and anything she
- 18:01Speaker 1: put toward it would just go away because that owner,
- 18:03Speaker 1: that ultimate owner, who creatively financed it, said, look, you've
- 18:07Speaker 1: got a balloon payment. If you don't pay it, you
- 18:08Speaker 1: don't get anything.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:09Speaker 1: So Janelle not just loses the property, but any money
- 18:12Speaker 1: that she's put toward the property, because he has all
- 18:15Speaker 1: the power. Janelle, how did this happen? And what I
- 18:20Speaker 1: think it is is it's her faith, yep. And I
- 18:25Speaker 1: think it's the fact that she trusted her faith, her religion,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and how Cody was framed within that to trust that
- 18:34Speaker 1: he would never hurt her or her children, And so
- 18:37Speaker 1: it was hard for her to actually see what her
- 18:40Speaker 1: kids could see as they got older, that it was
- 18:42Speaker 1: unfair polygmya is unfair to women, and she was getting
- 18:45Speaker 1: the short end of the stick. But you're not that smart.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I mean, I believe things that are kookie.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Yeah, my faith is a little weird, but I mean
- 18:55Speaker 3: I can also look at a ledger.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I can also look at an account. I can also
- 18:59Speaker 1: see where the money is going out of the family
- 19:02Speaker 1: LLC and where it's going to and she has said
- 19:05Speaker 1: in previous seasons, I see where it goes. Yeah, do
- 19:07Speaker 1: you really need all that stuff?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Really?
- 19:09Speaker 1: I can't have a casita, but you can have the
- 19:11Speaker 1: Dickenzian village. Why did she do it? I don't get it,
- 19:14Speaker 1: other than the faith part, But even then it doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 1: make sense to me. Beatrice, I don't know.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I look at her and I'm like, maybe it's because
- 19:22Speaker 2: she was easily manipulated because of the faith, because like
- 19:26Speaker 2: Mary had her own separate money. But Mary was still
- 19:29Speaker 2: stupid and like really crazy loyal to Cody for over
- 19:33Speaker 2: a decade when he didn't give a shit about her.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Christine was loyal until the point where he cut off
- 19:38Speaker 2: all intimacy. It was like we're not gonna have a marriage,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and then she's like, okaybye, I'm done. But she still
- 19:44Speaker 2: had separate finances. But like Janelle, I feel like was
- 19:47Speaker 2: the one Cody was able to manipulate the most and
- 19:50Speaker 2: be like no, like it's for the greater good, Like
- 19:52Speaker 2: this would be really fair for the family, if like
- 19:54Speaker 2: you could help us out with that, and if you
- 19:56Speaker 2: could maybe convince one of the other wives or something
- 19:58Speaker 2: to help us with this or whatever, like, can you
- 20:00Speaker 2: do that? Can you move things around? Like? I think
- 20:03Speaker 2: she was just coerced into it.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I think Janelle believed in the big picture of polygamy
- 20:10Speaker 1: according to her faith. I think Mary believed in the
- 20:13Speaker 1: love that she had with Cody A little bit different.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I don't know if Mary ever really believed with her
- 20:20Speaker 1: whole body and soul in polygamy. I think she was
- 20:23Speaker 1: jealous a lot. And in this episode, Cody gets into
- 20:26Speaker 1: Mary's like constant anger and how it was distributed through
- 20:30Speaker 1: the relationships, but like she was in love with Cody,
- 20:34Speaker 1: Janelle was in love. With the faith difference, yeah, I
- 20:38Speaker 1: think that's the difference. And I guess when Christine decides
- 20:41Speaker 1: to get a divorce, she also decides to chuck her faith.
- 20:44Speaker 1: She no longer believes. I don't know if that's no
- 20:46Speaker 1: longer believes in fundamentalist Mormonism or aub Mormonism. Whether that
- 20:52Speaker 1: means she's no longer even LDS, because I do see
- 20:54Speaker 1: liquor in those cabinets, honey, So she's drinking, which Mormons
- 20:57Speaker 1: aren't supposed to do, but she is, like, maybe it
- 21:00Speaker 1: was easier for her to say I don't believe anymore
- 21:02Speaker 1: and so this marriage doesn't mean anything. I'm divorced.
- 21:05Speaker 2: That's what I would do, but I'd be like, fuck
- 21:07Speaker 2: all this, Well, not Janelle and not Mary. Mary even
- 21:10Speaker 2: talks about it too. She still believes in the faith,
- 21:12Speaker 2: which I'm just like why, I don't understand, but you.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Know, I don't know either. But now she's going to
- 21:18Speaker 1: be pursuing what she calls a release, which is a
- 21:21Speaker 1: dissolution or I don't it's a spiritual divorce. Yeah, And
- 21:25Speaker 1: when she brought that to Cody, he was like resistant,
- 21:29Speaker 1: not because he doesn't want that, but because he doesn't
- 21:32Speaker 1: want to have to go to the elders and have
- 21:35Speaker 1: them look at his relationships and all the failures. And
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm skipping ahead and I apologize. But like, that's how
- 21:40Speaker 1: Mary wants to deal with it. She wants it to
- 21:42Speaker 1: be final and church ordained. Janelle doesn't need it to
- 21:45Speaker 1: be church ordained, but she also needs to go through
- 21:48Speaker 1: her own process.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Well, and that's what doesn't make any sense to me, Like,
- 21:52Speaker 2: if you believe in the faith, why wouldn't you go
- 21:54Speaker 2: and get a spiritual release? Because Mary still believes in
- 21:57Speaker 2: the faith, and she's doing the spiritual release because she
- 22:00Speaker 2: does not want to be sealed to eternity on cole
- 22:02Speaker 2: op with Cody fucking Brown. But Janelle still believes in it,
- 22:07Speaker 2: doesn't want to get the spiritual release, won't even call
- 22:10Speaker 2: it a divorce. So then I'm like, Okay, by your belief,
- 22:14Speaker 2: by your faith system, you are going to be internal
- 22:17Speaker 2: eternally sealed to Cody Brown in heaven with col op
- 22:21Speaker 2: or on col op.
- 22:22Speaker 1: But if she's open to polygamy with another husband, wouldn't
- 22:26Speaker 1: she have to get released from this marriage in order
- 22:28Speaker 1: to enter into that marriage? Like at some point she's
- 22:31Speaker 1: going to have to get that release.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Well, I don't know, because I've talked to Ethel about that,
- 22:35Speaker 2: and like Ethel's not fundamentalist Mormon, but she was LDS
- 22:38Speaker 2: and she said, like, I guess for the women, like
- 22:41Speaker 2: you're still sealed to multiple partners, Like you still have
- 22:46Speaker 2: to ask for the sealment or the unsealment or whatever
- 22:50Speaker 2: if you wanted that, but otherwise you're still sealed to
- 22:53Speaker 2: Cody Brown and sealed to this other guy.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh okay, So when Warren Jeff's comes into some man's
- 22:58Speaker 1: home and says, your wife is now my wife, they
- 23:01Speaker 1: don't have to unseal that and do all the administrative stuff.
- 23:04Speaker 1: They just move the wife over to another husband and
- 23:06Speaker 1: it's just fine in the eyes of the Lord. Must
- 23:08Speaker 1: be nice to be a white man.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess, yeah, nice to be.
- 23:11Speaker 1: A white Mormon.
- 23:12Speaker 2: May yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Wow yeah, wow wow wow.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yes, okay, so that makes sense. Yeah, that's why Janelle
- 23:18Speaker 1: doesn't feel the need to do it.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But that's weird. Why wouldn't you want to be unsealed
- 23:22Speaker 2: from him like I would be. I'd be like, fuck you,
- 23:24Speaker 2: I'll spend eternity alone.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I just don't think she wants to fuck with it.
- 23:28Speaker 1: She doesn't want to talk about it. She doesn't want
- 23:30Speaker 1: to have a conversation with Cody. She doesn't need to
- 23:33Speaker 1: say it's over. She's just like, I'm moving on. I
- 23:36Speaker 1: have a dream.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I want to be with my kids. I want to
- 23:38Speaker 3: have a piece of land. I want to be rural.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I want to have a pig, a cow, and a garden.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Fuck Cody, I don't care. And I actually like that
- 23:45Speaker 1: more for her because now Mary has to go to
- 23:49Speaker 1: the aub I guess, yeah, the white male elders in
- 23:52Speaker 1: that face, and she has to plead her case for
- 23:54Speaker 1: some kind of a release and like, why yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean if you believe in the faith
- 24:00Speaker 2: and you believe in that.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But it sounds like it's a lot. It sounds like
- 24:03Speaker 1: it's a whole thing.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It is.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Janelle's like, I don't want to do it, so no,
- 24:06Speaker 1: thank you. She's a Taurus. I get it. I really
- 24:09Speaker 1: relate to Janelle.
- 24:09Speaker 2: And maybe she is kind of a rug sweeper a
- 24:11Speaker 2: little bit, I think, so yeah, oh god, So I
- 24:13Speaker 2: mean maybe she just doesn't want to deal with it.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Just go and buy your flower farm, yep. And that's fine,
- 24:19Speaker 2: Like I'm not judging her for that. It's just like
- 24:20Speaker 2: if you're going to say you believe in the faith,
- 24:22Speaker 2: and why aren't you going the full mile? You know
- 24:25Speaker 2: what I mean? YEPA But back to the coins on
- 24:29Speaker 2: Coyote Pass, when we're talking about the separation of assets
- 24:33Speaker 2: and how Cody and Robin kept their stuff very separate.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Robin has her own separate money.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Can we all just download about that first of all?
- 24:43Speaker 1: When Robin is talking about how she used to be
- 24:46Speaker 1: a bad budgeer like in bat with money, but now
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'm really good with it, huh. And we actually have
- 24:52Speaker 1: separate accounts, Cody and I and I take care of
- 24:55Speaker 1: I have my own money, he has his own money.
- 24:57Speaker 1: When she was talking all of that mad, duplicitous shit,
- 25:02Speaker 1: she was actually breathless. I was noticing her body language
- 25:05Speaker 1: like she had a little flush in her cheeks. She
- 25:08Speaker 1: was speaking a little fast, and she was trying to
- 25:11Speaker 1: catch her breath. I mean, just all indicators that she
- 25:14Speaker 1: is bold face lying. I cannot believe. I cannot believe
- 25:19Speaker 1: the audacity of this woman because she knows that she's lying. Oh,
- 25:23Speaker 1: she knows that we know that she's lying. She knows
- 25:26Speaker 1: her wives are watching this and they know that she's lying,
- 25:29Speaker 1: and she's still doing it. That's what makes her wicked, beatrisses.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Not just like stupid, not just opportunistic. She's wicked, Yes,
- 25:39Speaker 1: fucking evil. When she was saying like it would be
- 25:42Speaker 1: too confusing to have to calculate how much money the
- 25:46Speaker 1: other wives gave to her and Cody essentially and have
- 25:49Speaker 1: to figure that out, Okay, it all that, I mean, honey,
- 25:53Speaker 1: kiby even do that. I don't even know. It's easy, honey,
- 25:57Speaker 1: it's easy. How much did Janell transfer from her her
- 26:00Speaker 1: account into your account? How much did Mary transfer into
- 26:04Speaker 1: your account? So you could buy that home.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yep. And then the most evil comment to me that
- 26:09Speaker 2: she made was the fact that she was saying the
- 26:13Speaker 2: other wives didn't prioritize their money the way that she
- 26:16Speaker 2: prioritized her money. She had different priorities. She's an expert budgeter.
- 26:21Speaker 2: So yeah, it's your fault you didn't prioritize your money
- 26:23Speaker 2: well enough.
- 26:24Speaker 1: But that's okay. We're just different in that way. Listen, bitch, bitch,
- 26:28Speaker 1: You've got Cody who's got his TLC salary and he
- 26:31Speaker 1: doesn't work. You've got your TLC salary and you don't work,
- 26:35Speaker 1: and so maybe you guys get to separate those two
- 26:37Speaker 1: salaries and you've got your own account, Robin. But who's
- 26:40Speaker 1: paying the mortgage?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:41Speaker 1: I bet it's Cody. Who's paying for the insurance. I
- 26:44Speaker 1: bet it's Cody. Who's paying for all the utilities and groceries.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I bet it's Cody. And is Cody doing that for
- 26:51Speaker 1: his other wives?
- 26:52Speaker 4: Though?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Is Cody paying Janelle's mortgage? Is Cody paying Christine's or
- 26:56Speaker 1: Mary's mortgage or groceries or utilities? I feel like those
- 26:59Speaker 1: when those women were taking care of their own household,
- 27:03Speaker 1: which Cody actually says in this episode, while he was
- 27:07Speaker 1: taking care of your household. Yeah, which then allows you
- 27:10Speaker 1: to take your TLC salary and invest into Kensiean villages
- 27:14Speaker 1: bullshit and Rolex watches and gold jewelry and all manner
- 27:20Speaker 1: of assets, trailers and otherwise giving you a profound leg up.
- 27:25Speaker 1: How is that confusing to you, bitch?
- 27:29Speaker 2: And how is that fair? When the other wives were
- 27:32Speaker 2: talking about struggling to feed their kids and pay their
- 27:35Speaker 2: fucking bills when we were watching season five, and Christine's like, oh,
- 27:39Speaker 2: I forgot to pay the water bill, Like I miss
- 27:42Speaker 2: that because she's the one running her entire household. Meanwhile,
- 27:45Speaker 2: you're over there in your diesel genes, sucking Cody's dick,
- 27:48Speaker 2: doing nothing.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Break dancing too close to the sun beatras. It's just
- 27:54Speaker 1: it's gotta be falling apart, right, guys, Like they can't
- 27:58Speaker 1: actually be moving into a four million dollars How would
- 28:01Speaker 1: they be able to afford that? No, they don't have
- 28:05Speaker 1: sponsorship deals, they don't have brand deals. They're not on
- 28:09Speaker 1: ig like making money, right. I know they have a cameo,
- 28:12Speaker 1: they have camo, but like, how much money does that
- 28:15Speaker 1: actually bring in? They are living off of TLC and
- 28:19Speaker 1: whatever gun business or online business they have in the background,
- 28:23Speaker 1: which I would love. Oh my god, I would love
- 28:25Speaker 1: to see the taxes. I would love to see the taxes.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And if we have to go to trial because Christine
- 28:30Speaker 1: needs to open the books to see how much Cody
- 28:32Speaker 1: owes her for child support, like, maybe we'll see the taxes.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Oh my god. Wouldn't it be great that lady on
- 28:39Speaker 2: YouTube I forget her name, with the glasses that covered
- 28:41Speaker 2: the amber heard.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Trial the lawyer Emily K.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, wouldn't it be if they went to trial.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Put it on the vision board. On the vision board, Oh,
- 28:53Speaker 1: that would be so good. But the but the terrible
- 28:57Speaker 1: lying that Robin is doing here discussing, it's just so
- 29:01Speaker 1: awful to me.
- 29:02Speaker 2: It's really really cood.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Nobody believes you, Robin. How can you sit there in
- 29:06Speaker 1: the McMansion with all that shit everywhere? And we saw
- 29:10Speaker 1: like in previous seasons when they were having their trick
- 29:14Speaker 1: or treat during COVID and she's opening the door to
- 29:16Speaker 1: give candy, like all of the boxes of Amazon and
- 29:20Speaker 1: this and that and all of the stuff they have. Yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 1: how can you say that with a straight face? It's crazy, wicked.
- 29:28Speaker 2: When she calls herself the idiot that still believes in
- 29:30Speaker 2: this dream, Like she's saying, I could still be neighbors
- 29:33Speaker 2: with Janelle. I could still be neighbors with Mary. I
- 29:36Speaker 2: hope they still build on Coyote Pass. That would be
- 29:38Speaker 2: so great and my dream would be fulfilled. It's like,
- 29:41Speaker 2: you really want us to believe that?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, you don't.
- 29:45Speaker 2: You really want us to believe that you're telling the
- 29:47Speaker 2: truth right now? Like it's crazy. Why don't you just
- 29:50Speaker 2: say the fucking truth?
- 29:51Speaker 1: It would be so much better. I mean, I mean,
- 29:54Speaker 1: then we could start to find a way to maybe
- 29:57Speaker 1: try and respect some of the decisions that you're making,
- 30:00Speaker 1: trying to hold onto your assets because if something you
- 30:02Speaker 1: were told by Cody or whatever, maybe it's because of
- 30:05Speaker 1: trauma that you've come out of because your mother was
- 30:08Speaker 1: also in polyagumia. I don't know, but like, why don't
- 30:10Speaker 1: you tell the truth just instead of just bullface lying
- 30:13Speaker 1: yet wild?
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy, And then we kind of hear more
- 30:18Speaker 2: about Cody's relationship with Maddie or lack thereof, because while
- 30:23Speaker 2: they're going Maddie and Janelle are going up to Montana.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Janelle in her talking head is like, Yeah, Cody doesn't
- 30:29Speaker 2: really have a relationship with Maddie. And then we hear
- 30:32Speaker 2: Cody on and on about the gossip mill and how
- 30:35Speaker 2: he doesn't trust Janelle, doesn't trust Maddie and it's a
- 30:38Speaker 2: two way street. Though she doesn't reach out to me,
- 30:41Speaker 2: so therefore I won't reach out to her.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And I know that triggers you.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it pisses me off.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not triggered by it because I've that's never
- 30:49Speaker 1: happened to me. Yeah, but I know as a child
- 30:52Speaker 1: of divorce, why don't you speak to it?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah? Should we go uncensored for it?
- 30:56Speaker 3: Sure?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Okay, let's come back to their regular pod. We were
- 31:01Speaker 1: actually for a while we were talking on Uncensored. If
- 31:03Speaker 1: you guys want to hear all of the uncensored bits,
- 31:05Speaker 1: all you have to do is go to Reality TV,
- 31:08Speaker 1: cringe on Patreon subscribe. It's only for patrons.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But what was I saying.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Cody triggering me about the yeah, the two way street
- 31:18Speaker 2: bullshit that he's giving with Maddie.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Right, And the thing I was saying was that even
- 31:22Speaker 1: though Maddie is an adult, even though she's almost thirty
- 31:25Speaker 1: years old, Cody is always going to be the parent,
- 31:28Speaker 1: and even though it might be difficult, it's still his
- 31:32Speaker 1: responsibility to initiate any kind of a healing process with
- 31:36Speaker 1: Maddie and his other children. They might be upset, they
- 31:38Speaker 1: might be no contact, but it's up to you to
- 31:42Speaker 1: try and make a bridge that everybody can heal, because
- 31:44Speaker 1: that's just the job. They didn't ask to be born
- 31:47Speaker 1: into this world. They certainly didn't ask to be born
- 31:49Speaker 1: into this polygamous family. You brought them into this experience,
- 31:53Speaker 1: and so you are the caretaker of the experience. And
- 31:56Speaker 1: if you don't like that, because it doesn't feel good
- 31:58Speaker 1: for you now that you're fifty four with your new
- 32:00Speaker 1: new bile breakdancing wife, then that's your fault exactly. At
- 32:05Speaker 1: least accept that this broke down because of me. Stop
- 32:09Speaker 1: putting it back on your kids.
- 32:11Speaker 2: But he fucking can't accept any responsibility. It's so frustrating
- 32:17Speaker 2: to me because I'm like, you are an adult of
- 32:20Speaker 2: a certain age, a big age, and you are still
- 32:23Speaker 2: acting like this, like what are you gonna do on
- 32:25Speaker 2: your deathbed? He's going to be one of those guys
- 32:28Speaker 2: that as he gets older, he's just going to become
- 32:31Speaker 2: more and more crotchety push everybody and his family away
- 32:35Speaker 2: and then wonder why he dies alone. He's going to
- 32:38Speaker 2: be that guy. Mm hmm, I swear it pisses me
- 32:41Speaker 2: off so much.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Well, and or Robin will be there and her kids
- 32:44Speaker 1: will be there, and that'll be enough for him because
- 32:47Speaker 1: he will be so estranged from the rest of his family.
- 32:50Speaker 1: But that's going out sad. Yeah, death is going out sad, yep,
- 32:53Speaker 1: it is.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And he talks about how the time in Vegas with
- 32:58Speaker 2: Maddie and Caleb, living with them in the Four Plots
- 33:01Speaker 2: and the cul de Sac was the best time of
- 33:04Speaker 2: his life and how he loved Caleb and he loved
- 33:06Speaker 2: having his family all together. And I'm like, then, why
- 33:08Speaker 2: don't you lean into that, because if you lean into
- 33:11Speaker 2: the love of your whole entire family, you could heal
- 33:14Speaker 2: a lot of the relationships you have that you've broken.
- 33:18Speaker 2: It would take just an apology and an acknowledgement.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Ownership, like I really fucked that up. Yeah, And here's
- 33:25Speaker 1: my thinking behind what I did, and this is why
- 33:27Speaker 1: it was wrong, you know, here's how I came to
- 33:29Speaker 1: the realization that it is wrong, and here's my plan
- 33:32Speaker 1: to do things differently and change the situation going forward,
- 33:35Speaker 1: like take actual responsibility. But he's a narcissist. We can't
- 33:39Speaker 1: keep expecting narcissists to have this kind of an awareness.
- 33:43Speaker 1: They just don't. You can't take a narcissist to therapy
- 33:46Speaker 1: because they will weaponize therapized words and therapized processes and
- 33:50Speaker 1: then use it against you to make you even more miserable.
- 33:53Speaker 1: They're broken people, and I'm sorry, I just think there's
- 33:56Speaker 1: like no help for people like this. Yeah, there's no
- 33:59Speaker 1: hoping he's going to get better, because you're right, he's
- 34:01Speaker 1: going to get worse with age. I was just watching
- 34:03Speaker 1: this episode. I'm like, every single one of you needs
- 34:06Speaker 1: to be in therapy. Mary, go to conventional therapy, not
- 34:09Speaker 1: Mormon therapy, not therapy with your spiritual elders. Get an
- 34:13Speaker 1: actual conventional therapist, and dedicate yourself to years of therapy. Janelle,
- 34:17Speaker 1: you two, I mean, you're pretty well adjusted. You seem
- 34:20Speaker 1: to be happy and okay, as you were telling Christine,
- 34:23Speaker 1: but you also need therapy because how did you get
- 34:25Speaker 1: here in the first place. How did you make such
- 34:27Speaker 1: a series of disastrous choices to get you and to
- 34:30Speaker 1: hurt your children the way that you did. We don't
- 34:32Speaker 1: talk about that enough. With Janelle. We really hurt your children.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Garrison was a hurt child, of course. And I'm not
- 34:37Speaker 1: trying to make anybody feel bad, but like, there are
- 34:41Speaker 1: things that you did for reasons that you are unconscious
- 34:44Speaker 1: to that allowed you to hurt these kids, and this
- 34:46Speaker 1: allow this man to hurt your kids. Go to therapy,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and Christine, honey, girl, I know you're happy you're in
- 34:53Speaker 1: your honeymoon taken down, but you need therapy too. Everybody does.
- 34:58Speaker 1: The only person who would not benefit from therapy, in
- 35:01Speaker 1: my opinion is Cody and Robin because they're actually to me,
- 35:07Speaker 1: and I'm not a doctor, they strike me as actual narcissists. Yes,
- 35:11Speaker 1: when you've got Robin sitting on the couch lying like
- 35:14Speaker 1: that to our faces, our raccoon faces. Yeah, like, yeah,
- 35:18Speaker 1: there's no.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Hope for her, Yeah, there really isn't unless she comes
- 35:22Speaker 2: out and it's like, yeah, I'm gonna leave Cody too.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I realize he's a piece of shit.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was lying all these years. I was
- 35:27Speaker 1: trying to make it work and trying to get everybody
- 35:28Speaker 1: to believe because I didn't have any money.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Yeah right, Yeah, then we would be fine with you.
- 35:34Speaker 1: But even that's calculated. Yeah, because you should have done
- 35:37Speaker 1: that at the right time.
- 35:38Speaker 2: True, but she's not. And then we have Christine visiting
- 35:42Speaker 2: Janelle and Flagstaff.
- 35:43Speaker 1: This was interesting, This was really good. Like, listen, I
- 35:48Speaker 1: know a lot of people love Christine, and we love
- 35:52Speaker 1: that Christine left Cody and so deeply broke him. I mean,
- 35:56Speaker 1: the reason we have the spinning top that is Cody
- 35:58Speaker 1: Brown just being an awful person is because Christine felt
- 36:03Speaker 1: empowered enough to walk away from him. But that doesn't
- 36:06Speaker 1: the gate that she's annoying as fuck. She's judgmental to Janelle. Yeah,
- 36:12Speaker 1: she has her own ideas of the way that the
- 36:14Speaker 1: world should work. And I guess now that she's no
- 36:16Speaker 1: longer the biggest advocate for polygamy and the biggest advocate
- 36:20Speaker 1: for the aub now all of a sudden, everybody else
- 36:23Speaker 1: has to have the same opinion and in the same timeline.
- 36:26Speaker 1: She's ridiculous. I apologize, break down, breakdown the scene for me.
- 36:32Speaker 1: But she was so annoying to me.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I was actually talking to Ethel about it
- 36:36Speaker 2: because she was so mad at Christine. She's like, can
- 36:38Speaker 2: you just lay off of Janelle? Like, police, why are
- 36:41Speaker 2: you trying to tell her what to do, like, let
- 36:43Speaker 2: Janelle make her own decisions. And I was talking to
- 36:45Speaker 2: Ethel about it. I'm like, it's the aries in Christine,
- 36:48Speaker 2: like the ram just being so fucking pushy and just
- 36:52Speaker 2: be like, let me tell you how to do your life,
- 36:54Speaker 2: let me tell you how to fix your life. And
- 36:56Speaker 2: I was talking to Ethel about it, I'm like, that's
- 36:57Speaker 2: a fire sign thing, because I feel like we're kind
- 37:00Speaker 2: of hot headed people and we just want to tell
- 37:02Speaker 2: people how to live their lives, even though we don't
- 37:04Speaker 2: know what the fuck we're talking about most of the time.
- 37:06Speaker 2: And we also don't live our lives by our own
- 37:09Speaker 2: advice a lot of the time. So it's like Christine
- 37:12Speaker 2: trying to tell Janelle how to break up with Cody
- 37:14Speaker 2: and how to separate all of her assets when Janelle's
- 37:17Speaker 2: finances are fucking entangled so much more than everyone else.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Like Christine, you got to sell your house and leave yep,
- 37:24Speaker 2: you had nothing tying yourself, like you got rid of
- 37:26Speaker 2: Coyote Pass and you were done, it was clean. Janelle
- 37:29Speaker 2: can't do that. And Janelle's trying to figure it all out,
- 37:33Speaker 2: so let her just figure it out.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty two winter of Like Christine, you just
- 37:38Speaker 1: walked away I think September of twenty twenty two, right,
- 37:41Speaker 1: based on that timeline, So it's been a few months.
- 37:43Speaker 1: You don't have all the answers. This is what kills me,
- 37:45Speaker 1: yes about these women, the Mary Browns, the hashtag worthy ups,
- 37:49Speaker 1: these women who have clear and present problems. Olivia Plath,
- 37:53Speaker 1: Olivia Plath and Christine, you have clear and present problems,
- 37:57Speaker 1: and you presume to sit on a couch and tell
- 37:59Speaker 1: Janelle how to be in her own process. It's just
- 38:03Speaker 1: so self absorbed and so tone deaf. But that's just Christine.
- 38:07Speaker 1: That's also Machelti. It must have been like the family
- 38:10Speaker 1: she came up in. By the end of this episode,
- 38:13Speaker 1: we have her telling us that she gets it now,
- 38:15Speaker 1: But I don't think she gets it. I think she's
- 38:17Speaker 1: actually really judgmental. And to the degree that Cody and
- 38:21Speaker 1: Robin believe there's a gossip mill, I'm gonna tell you
- 38:24Speaker 1: Christine's right in the center of that gossip mill. She
- 38:27Speaker 1: loves to make television talking about Cody Brown and all
- 38:30Speaker 1: of the things that he's done wrong. Having the whole
- 38:33Speaker 1: family there, even the kids, talking about Robin, like she
- 38:36Speaker 1: lives for.
- 38:37Speaker 2: That shit totally. But also, like Janelle said to Cody
- 38:41Speaker 2: in her talking head, like Cody leaks like a sieve.
- 38:44Speaker 2: He's also gossiping and saying shit to o their wives
- 38:47Speaker 2: about the other wives. So like everybody talks about everybody
- 38:51Speaker 2: in this family, which to some degree is normal in
- 38:54Speaker 2: a big, giant folman like this. I mean everybody's talking crab.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Of course, of course a lot of it is true,
- 39:01Speaker 2: like with the stuff about Cody and Robin, like it's
- 39:04Speaker 2: not gossip. They're just bitching about the fact that you
- 39:07Speaker 2: guys are pieces of crap, right, But like Christine is
- 39:09Speaker 2: totally at the head of it, and Christine needs to
- 39:13Speaker 2: chill out and just let people figure it out on
- 39:16Speaker 2: their own.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it just doesn't work. It's not gonna work with
- 39:18Speaker 1: a personality like Janelle, who is so in her own body, Honey,
- 39:23Speaker 1: She's so in her own life, she's so in her
- 39:25Speaker 1: own purpose and vision. Like she's getting it together. She's
- 39:28Speaker 1: trying to figure out right now what it is she
- 39:31Speaker 1: wants exactly. She loves flag stuff, But eh, I probably
- 39:34Speaker 1: shouldn't hang out here because Cody and Robin are here,
- 39:36Speaker 1: and I also love Montana, and I love Cody and
- 39:39Speaker 1: not Cody, but Caleb and Maddie. And so there's a
- 39:42Speaker 1: lot of different things at play right now. So just
- 39:45Speaker 1: give me a little space and breath and time, Christine
- 39:48Speaker 1: before Thanksgiving, please for me to figure that out for
- 39:51Speaker 1: myself without you telling me what to do. That it's
- 39:54Speaker 1: just not who she is. I can see that clear
- 39:56Speaker 1: as day. And it's kind of wild to me that
- 39:59Speaker 1: Christine doesn'tand that about her and or is such a
- 40:02Speaker 1: boundary stomper.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's like I can understand to an extent
- 40:06Speaker 2: why Christine is so fired up about it because she
- 40:09Speaker 2: is single. She's fucking David Woolley probably at this point
- 40:12Speaker 2: or dating him or something. I don't know, I don't care,
- 40:15Speaker 2: but like she's happy, and like she wants to have
- 40:18Speaker 2: Janelle be happy, and so I understand the sentiment. But
- 40:21Speaker 2: like again, like.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Just take it down if you're not.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's just an essential immaturity with Christine. I remember
- 40:27Speaker 1: being like a no at all when I was in
- 40:29Speaker 1: my twenties and stuff. But like Christine, you're in your
- 40:31Speaker 1: fifties for real, and your life is a shit show.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Your life is an actual shit show on TLC. Yeah,
- 40:37Speaker 1: so like, don't presume to tell anybody else what they
- 40:38Speaker 1: need to do and the pace that they need to
- 40:40Speaker 1: move at. That's just not how we want to do it.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but she's probably doing all of her interviews at
- 40:45Speaker 2: this time, like all of the stuff's probably been filmed,
- 40:47Speaker 2: so she's like on a high right now, and so
- 40:50Speaker 2: she's like, I'm the shit. Everybody else needs to come
- 40:54Speaker 2: on my level, right yea, but it's annoying. Yeah, But
- 40:58Speaker 2: Janelle's kind of talking to Christine about like Cody and
- 41:01Speaker 2: Coyote Pass and how he's not talking to her and
- 41:05Speaker 2: like all of their stuff is over text, and so
- 41:07Speaker 2: she needs to get a lawyer and she's tired of
- 41:09Speaker 2: this wishy washy bullshit or no Cody says that. Cody
- 41:13Speaker 2: says that he's annoyed with Janelle because she's going back
- 41:16Speaker 2: and forth with him and it's very ambiguous. Yeah, ambiguous,
- 41:21Speaker 2: and he's frustrated with it. And this is where Mary starts.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Laughing, Yes, I loved it.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Oh this was so good. She's like, yeah, so the
- 41:30Speaker 2: thing that you're frustrated Janelle's doing to you, you did
- 41:32Speaker 2: the same bullshit to me. Karma's a bitch.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Which is wonderful and true, but also, can we just
- 41:39Speaker 1: get real, Mary, if we all knew, you know, watching
- 41:43Speaker 1: forty minutes a week for I don't know, fifteen episodes
- 41:47Speaker 1: a year, if we all knew that Cody wanted nothing
- 41:51Speaker 1: to do with you, if we felt, as an audience said,
- 41:54Speaker 1: it was loud and clear his intent with you, how
- 41:57Speaker 1: come you didn't? And again it's probably the faith. And
- 42:00Speaker 1: again it's probably her prioritizing her perception of her love
- 42:05Speaker 1: relationship with Cody and how much she wanted to get
- 42:07Speaker 1: back to that. But at the same time, like you
- 42:10Speaker 1: weren't a victim necessarily, like you had a whole banana
- 42:13Speaker 1: in your mouth in a bathtub talking to a man
- 42:16Speaker 1: that I know you would have left if he was
- 42:18Speaker 1: a real man.
- 42:19Speaker 3: We all know you would have left. You were ready
- 42:21Speaker 3: to leave when you were in Alaska. Uh huh, Okay,
- 42:24Speaker 3: you sat down to that dinner in Alaska and you
- 42:26Speaker 3: were ready to tell them, look, I'm on my way
- 42:28Speaker 3: out the door. So it's not like this whole thing
- 42:31Speaker 3: was done to you, you were complicit in it. But
- 42:33Speaker 3: at the same time, any opportunity she takes a potshot
- 42:37Speaker 3: at Cody, I love it and her reveling in how
- 42:40Speaker 3: uncomfortable Janelle's lack of communication makes him, Like I live
- 42:43Speaker 3: for that. Yeah, anything that pokes him, I endorse.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I love it. And it is totally the same kind
- 42:49Speaker 2: of energy as Christine, though, like now that you're away
- 42:51Speaker 2: from it and you're doing your hashtag worthy of like
- 42:53Speaker 2: you think you're better than everybody when you're like also
- 42:56Speaker 2: a huge mess. But I thought that was such a
- 42:59Speaker 2: good can and I want more of that from Mary
- 43:02Speaker 2: all season. They too, so so good. But I will
- 43:05Speaker 2: say though, Cody did admit later in some talking head
- 43:10Speaker 2: where he had said he was trying to make their
- 43:13Speaker 2: relationship work when he was talking about Mary Yes getting
- 43:16Speaker 2: her spiritual divorce or whatever, he admitted to it. He's like, yeah,
- 43:20Speaker 2: I tried to tell her in Flagstaff maybe it'll be
- 43:23Speaker 2: a new beginning, and like, I tried really hard. So
- 43:25Speaker 2: he's saying on camera that he was going back and
- 43:28Speaker 2: forth with Mary.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yes and sending mixed messages. But at the same time
- 43:33Speaker 1: that he's saying that, he's like, I tried to be curious,
- 43:36Speaker 1: but she wasn't fun. Yeah, she wasn't good to be around.
- 43:40Speaker 1: She's an angry person and I'm just like God, the
- 43:43Speaker 1: way he so glibly just puts her down and decimates
- 43:48Speaker 1: her like as a woman is so sad to see,
- 43:51Speaker 1: like he doesn't think twice about saying something that is
- 43:54Speaker 1: going to break her heart. And just last week she's
- 43:56Speaker 1: talking to her friend Brandy and she's like, I don't
- 43:58Speaker 1: I want to take the high road, I want to
- 44:00Speaker 1: be kind, and here he is just being so despicable
- 44:03Speaker 1: to her. Now when he's talking about this though, Beatrice,
- 44:07Speaker 1: we kind of get into some of the history and
- 44:10Speaker 1: some of the lore about Mary and Cody. And remember
- 44:14Speaker 1: how you know, over the pod, like probably over the
- 44:18Speaker 1: last year, I was talking a little bit about that therapy,
- 44:22Speaker 1: that therapy session that Cody went in with Mary, and
- 44:25Speaker 1: how he talked about like how he didn't know the
- 44:27Speaker 1: baggage that Mary brought into the relationship and there were
- 44:29Speaker 1: things he didn't know about Mary that he wished he
- 44:32Speaker 1: would have known. And I'm like, well, I wish you
- 44:34Speaker 1: would have elaborated on that. Well, now I think this
- 44:37Speaker 1: is starting to come out, and it's the fact that
- 44:39Speaker 1: Mary brought her toxic anger into the relationship and Cody
- 44:44Speaker 1: tells a story about like offering her a piece of gum,
- 44:46Speaker 1: and she snaps at him and says, you know, I
- 44:49Speaker 1: don't like spear mint, and you know what, I believe it.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe it.
- 44:54Speaker 1: And then he talks about how Janelle entered into the
- 44:56Speaker 1: relationship and that diluted his relationship with Mary and his
- 45:01Speaker 1: exposure really to her anger. So Janelle becomes a meat
- 45:06Speaker 1: shield so he doesn't have to be the sole beneficiary
- 45:09Speaker 1: of all of Mary's toxicity. And so now we have
- 45:12Speaker 1: problems with Mary and Janelle, and Janelle actually leaves at
- 45:16Speaker 1: one point and moves back to Wyoming or whatever. Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 1: and then we bring on Christine, and Cody actually admits
- 45:22Speaker 1: that bringing Christine on saved the relationships. Yeah, it was
- 45:27Speaker 1: because Christine came, it diluted Mary even more so. Now
- 45:30Speaker 1: she had not just one focal point, which is Cody.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Now she's got three adults that she can spread her
- 45:36Speaker 1: misery around, and then a bunch of kids that some
- 45:39Speaker 1: of these kids say she went on to abuse. So
- 45:41Speaker 1: I actually believe this about Mary. Yeah, and maybe the
- 45:45Speaker 1: baggage he's talking about is like her family, her trauma
- 45:48Speaker 1: or her family toxic culture. I don't know, but I
- 45:51Speaker 1: thought that was really interesting to learn about.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was interesting, but I do think
- 45:55Speaker 2: he's saying all of that just to make her look bad.
- 45:58Speaker 2: But then at the same time, we see the fact
- 46:01Speaker 2: that Christina and Janelle don't really have a relationship with Mary.
- 46:05Speaker 2: There's obviously a reason why, because Mary's seems like a
- 46:08Speaker 2: big old bitch. Maybe everybody's over it. Yeah, maybe she's
- 46:12Speaker 2: better now with her hashtag worthy up and stuff. Who
- 46:15Speaker 2: fucking knows, But it doesn't change like thirty years of
- 46:19Speaker 2: her being toxic and terrible. But then I'm like, at
- 46:22Speaker 2: the same time, when he's talking about Mary's baggage, I'm like,
- 46:24Speaker 2: what about your baggage? Dude, what about you being a
- 46:27Speaker 2: piece of shit? Like, I know you're you've been exceptionally
- 46:30Speaker 2: terrible the last like ten years or so, but I
- 46:33Speaker 2: feel like you were a peach back then. Either. I
- 46:35Speaker 2: feel like you were also pretty terrible, and you were
- 46:38Speaker 2: a twenty something dude who thought that being in a
- 46:41Speaker 2: terrible relationship with the first girl, Oh, you know what
- 46:44Speaker 2: the solution would be, Let's bring in another woman. Oh
- 46:46Speaker 2: that doesn't work, Okay, Let's bring in another woman. And
- 46:49Speaker 2: then thirty years later say you don't love any of them,
- 46:52Speaker 2: and maybe that's true, Like maybe you didn't love any
- 46:55Speaker 2: of them from the get go. It's not true you
- 46:57Speaker 2: were dumb and brought in these women to think it
- 46:59Speaker 2: would make it everything better. But I don't freaking believe that.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Nobody believes that. I believe he fell out of love
- 47:05Speaker 1: with them, yeah, but I believed at one point he
- 47:07Speaker 1: did love them.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:08Speaker 1: No, he's not a peach. I think he was dealing
- 47:11Speaker 1: with a woman who had some personality issues. That would
- 47:14Speaker 1: be Mary, and I think Mary took it out on Janelle.
- 47:16Speaker 1: We have scenes in flag Staff, so recent scenes where
- 47:20Speaker 1: they're trying to work out their relationship. But Janelle has
- 47:22Speaker 1: been so injured in this relationship. It's like, I don't
- 47:24Speaker 1: know if I have the band with Mary to even
- 47:26Speaker 1: try to go to therapy with you because of the
- 47:29Speaker 1: shit that I have been through with you. So Mary
- 47:31Speaker 1: sounds like she was a pretty terrible person. Yeah, And
- 47:34Speaker 1: at some point, probably about ten years ago, when this
- 47:38Speaker 1: whole thing started, Cody's like, I'm done, I've got this.
- 47:40Speaker 1: I've got this new woman.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I love her, actually feel what real love feels like.
- 47:45Speaker 3: And maybe he did, maybe, And so maybe that's a
- 47:48Speaker 3: revelation to him, and he slowly but surely starts falling
- 47:50Speaker 3: out of love with the others. But Mary, you had
- 47:52Speaker 3: something to do with.
- 47:53Speaker 2: That, yeah, And then we have Cody talking about how
- 47:58Speaker 2: he's not a victim, but he ever had a choice
- 48:00Speaker 2: to leave these women because of his faith. But then
- 48:04Speaker 2: he says he doesn't want to disparage his faith, but
- 48:07Speaker 2: then calls it bullshit.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Right, you can't have it both ways.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Like why you keep going back and forth?
- 48:12Speaker 1: Man, when did you I want to know, when did
- 48:14Speaker 1: you walk away from the faith because it's convenient for
- 48:18Speaker 1: you to say, well, my faith says I can't divorce them.
- 48:22Speaker 1: They have to make the choice. And then out of
- 48:24Speaker 1: the other side of your mouth say well, but my
- 48:26Speaker 1: faith is bullshit, right, Like, which one is it? It's
- 48:29Speaker 1: what's convenient for you to make you look less like
- 48:33Speaker 1: an evil person or the evil person that you are,
- 48:35Speaker 1: So everything is so convenient for him.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And then again like you're not taking any accountability because
- 48:42Speaker 2: you're saying the og three wives kicked you out, as
- 48:46Speaker 2: if you weren't trying to get the fuck out of there.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Then he says something really weird where he's like, I
- 48:52Speaker 2: never would have left any of them, even though I
- 48:55Speaker 2: don't love them anymore. I never would have left them,
- 48:58Speaker 2: but they made a choice. They wanted to leave, and
- 49:02Speaker 2: so everybody made choices. I guess I maybe made some
- 49:05Speaker 2: choices that maybe have separated.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Maybe I did, I don't know.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Probably not, but not really though. Yeah. I'm not a victim, though,
- 49:13Speaker 2: but I got kicked out of my club, I'm excommunicated
- 49:17Speaker 2: for my club that I started.
- 49:18Speaker 1: I don't even understand how he arranges and organizes his
- 49:22Speaker 1: life in the way that he sees it. It doesn't make
- 49:23Speaker 1: any sense. I think he's referring to Mary kicking him
- 49:26Speaker 1: out of the house in Vegas during the whole Catfish
- 49:29Speaker 1: debacle for a period of time, probably because he was
- 49:32Speaker 1: never really coming around and hated her guts in the
- 49:34Speaker 1: first place, and so because she needed a little bit
- 49:37Speaker 1: of space from him, he took that as she kicked
- 49:39Speaker 1: me out. Now I don't ever have to see her again. Yeah,
- 49:41Speaker 1: And then of course Christine does the same thing because
- 49:43Speaker 1: she gets to the end of her rope because they're
- 49:45Speaker 1: not fucking anymore and he's not giving her any attention whatsoever,
- 49:48Speaker 1: much lesser kids. And then with Janelle it took longer
- 49:51Speaker 1: because she was holding on because she believed in the
- 49:53Speaker 1: vision until maybe that fight at Christmas. Yeah, and she's like, well,
- 49:57Speaker 1: then fuck you, and he takes that as her telling
- 50:00Speaker 1: him that he can't be with her anymore. I don't
- 50:02Speaker 1: remember a time Janelle ever said get out of my house.
- 50:06Speaker 2: No, except for that big fight at Christmas last season.
- 50:09Speaker 2: But he was walking out of exact he.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Was like, no, I'm not going to talk to you,
- 50:13Speaker 1: and he's walking out of the place on his own.
- 50:15Speaker 1: So it's just again, it's all very convenient for him, Yeah,
- 50:18Speaker 1: because he can't take a terrible person and I hate him.
- 50:23Speaker 1: We do not prefer him so much.
- 50:26Speaker 2: And then we have like more in the conversation with
- 50:29Speaker 2: Christine and Janelle about Thanksgiving plans, like holiday plans. Janelle's like,
- 50:33Speaker 2: I'm never coordinating a holiday with Cody ever again, which
- 50:36Speaker 2: we love. This is where Cody's like, I'm kicked out.
- 50:39Speaker 2: I have FOMO. I want to be included, but nobody
- 50:43Speaker 2: wants my club.
- 50:44Speaker 1: But I got kicked out of it. Okay, fuck you
- 50:47Speaker 1: removed yourself from your other families. You did that, you
- 50:51Speaker 1: made those choices, But I mean, like, let's not splitters.
- 50:53Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, I guess. And then we talk about
- 50:55Speaker 2: the Christmas text chat, yes, which we talked about last season,
- 51:00Speaker 2: we get more into it, I guess because we hear
- 51:02Speaker 2: from Right and Brianna yep, who have clearly been coached,
- 51:08Speaker 2: brainwashed by their mother because their mother saw the feedback
- 51:12Speaker 2: and the backlash from everybody when last season Aurora said
- 51:16Speaker 2: that they heard that they weren't a part of the family.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Somebody had told them, and everybody said, including us, well,
- 51:21Speaker 1: that must have been Robin. Maybe it was Michelt, and
- 51:24Speaker 1: then Robin told them, but it was probably Robin. And
- 51:27Speaker 1: so because everybody said that, Robin has taken pains, obviously
- 51:31Speaker 1: to me to tell her adult children get into that
- 51:34Speaker 1: couch and say that those kids told you directly that
- 51:37Speaker 1: you weren't part of the family, so that nobody thinks
- 51:40Speaker 1: it was me. Yeah, that was the one that was
- 51:42Speaker 1: telling you that. Yeah, And so they do their mother's bidding,
- 51:47Speaker 1: and I had to fast forward through it. I was
- 51:49Speaker 1: just like, these poor kids, they're adult kids, but like,
- 51:53Speaker 1: have their brains formed at all?
- 51:56Speaker 2: No, because your brain's not formed until you're twenty five.
- 51:58Speaker 2: I don't know how old Aurora is, though maybe she's
- 52:00Speaker 2: twenty five. I don't fucking know, but I'm like, you
- 52:02Speaker 2: can think for yourself. But Aurora is sitting there saying,
- 52:05Speaker 2: I've been told directly by multiple people, on multiple different
- 52:09Speaker 2: occasions that I was not accepted and that I was
- 52:12Speaker 2: not their sister. And I'm like, by who though, Because
- 52:16Speaker 2: wasn't it last season at Isabelle's party or whatever, and
- 52:20Speaker 2: you have all this footage of everybody hugging you guys
- 52:23Speaker 2: and accepting you into the family, and you guys were
- 52:26Speaker 2: happy and talking to everyone, and it.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Was you know what I think it is. I think
- 52:29Speaker 1: it's like season three, season four, when Peyden was being
- 52:33Speaker 1: a bully with the kids when they're coming into the family.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I mean, I can see a world where Peyden may
- 52:39Speaker 1: have said some bullshit to those girls because we could
- 52:41Speaker 1: see him kind of doing that anyway, So I can
- 52:44Speaker 1: see when they were little kids, there was maybe trouble
- 52:47Speaker 1: with some of those kids, but they obviously worked it out.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I also want to say last season or the season before,
- 52:52Speaker 1: I think it was Gabe saying I think it was
- 52:54Speaker 1: last season. Gabe was like, yeah, I see Aurora at
- 52:56Speaker 1: college and we stop or in school, yes, and we
- 52:59Speaker 1: stop in the halls and we always talk with each other.
- 53:01Speaker 1: And I love her a lot, and yes, and I
- 53:03Speaker 1: think she even talked spoke to that on the couch
- 53:05Speaker 1: last season, like yeah, I do see Gabe and it's good.
- 53:08Speaker 1: He's my brother. Like so what's changed then, right, but
- 53:10Speaker 1: how did this happen? You guys are spinning fucking yarns.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Yep, it's ridiculous.
- 53:15Speaker 1: You're lying like your mom yep, and everybody can tell.
- 53:18Speaker 1: And you ought to stop.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I know, but they're like, they're kids and they're under
- 53:22Speaker 2: she's not a kid. Well I know, but they're under
- 53:24Speaker 2: their roof. No, and they're under their manipulation.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Okay, but they're not kids. So at some point you
- 53:30Speaker 1: have to take responsibility if you're getting up on a
- 53:33Speaker 1: couch and you're talking about these other adult children who
- 53:37Speaker 1: tried to include you in the Christmas chat. They were
- 53:39Speaker 1: trying to include you, and then Robin inserted herself and said,
- 53:42Speaker 1: let's get on a zoom and we're like, I can't
- 53:44Speaker 1: get on a zoom. I got a family and then
- 53:45Speaker 1: I'll become a big deal. Yeah, but they were including
- 53:48Speaker 1: you then, right, So getting on the couch and saying
- 53:53Speaker 1: this is just shameful.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and now shameful Robin's saying on the couch here, saying,
- 53:59Speaker 2: my kids emotionally unsafe, and I'm like, how in a
- 54:03Speaker 2: text message, Yeah, we are you kidding me? This is
- 54:07Speaker 2: the brainwashing though, and like maybe Aurora and Brianna will
- 54:11Speaker 2: wake up to it eventually, Like maybe when they move
- 54:14Speaker 2: out of their house and they become their own people,
- 54:17Speaker 2: separate from Cody and Robin, Like maybe they'll figure it
- 54:20Speaker 2: out and get back in contact with the siblings, because
- 54:22Speaker 2: that can happen, But I don't know right now. It's
- 54:25Speaker 2: just fucking frustrating to sit in I don't need to
- 54:28Speaker 2: see them.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't need to see the little flying monkeys
- 54:31Speaker 1: that Robin is sending into the space in order to
- 54:34Speaker 1: parrot her story. Nobody believes it.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and Christine even said truly didn't even know that
- 54:40Speaker 2: these kids weren't biologically her siblings. Yeah, like come on, yep,
- 54:44Speaker 2: you guys were included. Yes, it's bullshit. And then Cody's
- 54:47Speaker 2: saying some people in the family feel like they're superior,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and is that just Maddie.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I think it's Maddie. I know it's Maddie for sure,
- 54:56Speaker 1: but I'm like, I wonder who else he's referring to.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I don't think it's Logo, and I don't think it's Hunter.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I know it's not Michelti. At this point, I don't
- 55:06Speaker 1: know who it would be.
- 55:07Speaker 2: I don't know either, Like who are you referring to?
- 55:10Speaker 1: Maybe Aspen, maybe the boys too? For maybe the boys?
- 55:13Speaker 1: Maybe the boys? Yeah? God? And who cares?
- 55:17Speaker 2: No? I mean, then heal it serious and.
- 55:19Speaker 3: There's a problem, there's a breakdown. You're the dad, get
- 55:21Speaker 3: in there, do something about it.
- 55:22Speaker 2: How about we talk about it.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Yeah, let's go be fair.
- 55:25Speaker 2: About it for real. With all that money you're siphoning
- 55:29Speaker 2: off for the Dickenziean villages, you could pay for family therapy.
- 55:32Speaker 2: He could, good Lord. And then we have the wives
- 55:34Speaker 2: kind of discussing about Cody, like when he was around
- 55:37Speaker 2: when he wasn't around, and that's how the episode ends.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Okay, well we'll just conclude it there.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm like, I don't care.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't care either he wasn't there. Nobody cares
- 55:46Speaker 1: except for Robin.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Robin being like, yeah, I had to be independent.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Well, but she was like, no, it wasn't different when
- 55:52Speaker 1: he was there versus when he wasn't there. And I'm like,
- 55:55Speaker 1: that's cause he was always there.
- 55:58Speaker 2: He was always there.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Robin bitch, so stupid.
- 56:03Speaker 2: And then we have a preview we have the family.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we didn't even talk about that. There was
- 56:08Speaker 2: an upcoming event.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's Gwendolen's engagement. I think it's Gwendolen's engagement.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 56:14Speaker 1: It's weird that they're not saying that though.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Yeah, like, why are you being vague about it?
- 56:19Speaker 1: Is it the engagement party? It's not Gwendolen's marriage, right,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I don't think so. I don't know. We'll see, we'll see.
- 56:25Speaker 2: But yeah, so everybody's going to get together and nobody's
- 56:28Speaker 2: talking to each other. It's going to be really weird.
- 56:30Speaker 2: And Cody says it's.
- 56:31Speaker 1: A civil war, yeah, where it's.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Just him and Robin and then the rest of.
- 56:34Speaker 1: The family acting awkward with their weights and stuff.
- 56:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:37Speaker 2: And then Michelt might have to have a C section
- 56:41Speaker 2: story and she's crying about it for real, I'm sick
- 56:46Speaker 2: of her. Go back to Patreon. I have enough with
- 56:48Speaker 2: your mom, Oh my god. And then Robin planning to
- 56:51Speaker 2: be there at the birth of her twins also don't care, Yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 2: do not care. It's going to be awkward, all right,
- 56:57Speaker 2: guess what.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I loved this episode.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Me too.
- 56:59Speaker 3: I go into every episode thinking I'm going to be
- 57:01Speaker 3: triggered af and I am, oh, yeah, it's the entire time.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I'm in a rage, honey.
- 57:05Speaker 3: Same sure my blood pressure, where's my beta blockers?
- 57:09Speaker 1: But I enjoyed it because we're starting to get into
- 57:13Speaker 1: areas yeah, that I'm very curious about, namely the money.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And finally we've got some wives calling shit out.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yes, and I'd love to see it.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I love it as well. Well, is there anything else
- 57:24Speaker 1: that we need to say to these beautiful raccoons before
- 57:26Speaker 1: we get up on at it here?
- 57:28Speaker 2: Bah Jess, Well, if you love our podcast, I sure
