- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listenings kp I AM six forty.
- 0:03Speaker 2: The Bill handles show on demand on the iHeartRadio apps.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Kalanis book goes through and before you leave you have
- 0:16Speaker 2: to effectively let them know that the CO two has
- 0:20Speaker 2: left your body. And so there's a lot of that. Yeah,
- 0:22Speaker 2: there's a lot, I mean across the board. And I've
- 0:24Speaker 2: told you that story where they have twenty people all
- 0:27Speaker 2: lined up in these little bays with just they I'll
- 0:31Speaker 2: stop it, all right, I got it. Don't reduce this
- 0:33Speaker 2: to a cheap sound effect. Okay, this is serious medical news.
- 0:37Speaker 3: And now handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Here's Bill Handle. Good morning everybody. It's February sixteenth, a Monday.
- 0:48Speaker 2: As we start the week with when all the A
- 0:52Speaker 2: team is here, and a quick good morning, and I've
- 0:55Speaker 2: got some questions some Olympic news I thought i'd share
- 0:57Speaker 2: with you, and a question or two.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning. We have been talking.
- 1:04Speaker 2: We've been talking about the event that we are throwing
- 1:08Speaker 2: actually Katarina's Club in my house, a barbecue and this
- 1:12Speaker 2: is for people who donated pretty good money to say
- 1:15Speaker 2: the least.
- 1:15Speaker 1: To join us.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So we have three couples who are guests of honor
- 1:19Speaker 2: who are joining us for this grilling event where Neil
- 1:24Speaker 2: and Chef work together, and it's going to be pretty
- 1:29Speaker 2: neat so and it's going to be broadcast also on.
- 1:34Speaker 3: And it's going to be great. I've been passing out flyers.
- 1:38Speaker 4: There's this overpass with a lot of homeless encampments and
- 1:42Speaker 4: I've been passing out flyers with your address, letting them
- 1:45Speaker 4: know where good com in March.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's going to be great. It is going to be
- 1:49Speaker 2: so excited. I'll bet they are. I'll bet they are.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And we haven't put the outdoor shower in yet, but
- 1:55Speaker 2: we're going to amy.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, Okay, that's what sir says.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Howdy, howdy, howdy, Okay, it's excellent.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Good morning to you. And Will Cole Schreiber. What is
- 2:11Speaker 1: that's what you're saying? He's musical music theater, Wes Why okay, nice?
- 2:16Speaker 1: I like musical theater. Fair enough, it's good stuf.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Okay, got it, got it? And uh and good morning
- 2:22Speaker 2: to you. Good morning. As you're munching on something. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: don't know if you've been watching the Olympics. I certainly have.
- 2:28Speaker 2: There is a new event called Monobob. I don't know
- 2:34Speaker 2: if you knew that it is a women's only event.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And I'm serious now, and so I'm going to go
- 2:42Speaker 2: around the room and ask what is mono Bob? Neil,
- 2:45Speaker 2: what do you think monobob is? I'm having a hard
- 2:48Speaker 2: time getting out of the gutter, sir, Okay, excellent, I
- 2:52Speaker 2: not Amy, What do you think monobob is?
- 2:55Speaker 5: One person Bob's letting?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Okay, not bad? Will mono bob what you catch in
- 3:02Speaker 1: the Olympic village? Okay? Very strong and mono Bob.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I'm going with what Amy said.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Okay, so we have two one woman's bob sledding or
- 3:13Speaker 2: a single woman's bob sledding. Mono bob. It is actually
- 3:18Speaker 2: and it's brand new. It's bobbing for apples, which is
- 3:22Speaker 2: oh well. First of all, Cono, I don't see you.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Where are you? Cono?
- 3:27Speaker 2: Is?
- 3:28Speaker 1: I see his iPad but I don't see him. There
- 3:30Speaker 1: you are? Good morning. It is bobbing for apples.
- 3:35Speaker 2: It is also practice for a certain genre of film
- 3:40Speaker 2: that we that I'm not going to talk about because
- 3:43Speaker 2: I don't want to go there.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Thoughneil and I were pretty close.
- 3:48Speaker 3: It's one guy named Bob who just stands there.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Okay, did I win? It is both and and Amy
- 3:57Speaker 1: were right.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It is a single women's sled and it is What's
- 4:03Speaker 2: fun is brand new events come into Olympics, like double moguls,
- 4:09Speaker 2: like heads of two film studios and they go slipping
- 4:15Speaker 2: down the slippery slope of the snow. So this is new,
- 4:21Speaker 2: as is the double moguls, and they pull stuff back
- 4:25Speaker 2: there was there used to be. I don't know if
- 4:27Speaker 2: basketball is still there. I don't know if baseball is
- 4:30Speaker 2: still there. I don't think so.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Not at the Winter Olympics, for sure, Yeah, of course, but.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm talking about in general. That's true.
- 4:38Speaker 2: But I'm wondering if those if those stay, and I
- 4:41Speaker 2: don't know the answer in any case.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 4:45Speaker 2: If you're watching the Olympics, I am. The Olympics really
- 4:49Speaker 2: controversial this year. Of course the ice skating, ice dancing,
- 4:54Speaker 2: which is absolutely gorgeous.
- 4:56Speaker 1: The French team.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Won the gold, even though the American team was better,
- 5:00Speaker 2: there's no question about it, and everybody else all the
- 5:04Speaker 2: judges gave about a five. Even with the United States
- 5:08Speaker 2: incrementally ahead and was about to get the gold. The
- 5:13Speaker 2: French judge gave the French team eight points.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Which put them over the top. Do you remember the
- 5:22Speaker 1: Korean judge?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Which event was where the Korean judge gave the Korean
- 5:27Speaker 2: team astronomical points. And so there's the controversy there and
- 5:35Speaker 2: the fact that it's a debacle in which Lindsey Vaughan,
- 5:40Speaker 2: of course we know what happened to her and the
- 5:42Speaker 2: rest of the teams are. There was a controversy in
- 5:45Speaker 2: curling where you can't touch the curling stone after it
- 5:50Speaker 2: goes past the line. Canadians accuse the Americans of doing
- 5:53Speaker 2: that and there was a screaming match between the two.
- 5:56Speaker 2: That's when it's fun. That's when it's a lot of fun. Okay,
- 6:02Speaker 2: we should make.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Any sort of controversy have to be solved with pugilism.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I agree they have some little.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Problem and it's like, okay, then we're gonna go.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Fisticuffs, right, especially the Bulgarian weightlifters against the skill. Yes,
- 6:21Speaker 2: there's there's pugilism wrestling matches.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I just like the thought of controversy on the curling floor. Yes,
- 6:31Speaker 4: you're pushing a stone. You are pushing a stone, sir,
- 6:35Speaker 4: And do we know where the stone came from?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Any idea the stone is a specific stone made out
- 6:41Speaker 2: of a specific rock from Ireland or something. I think
- 6:44Speaker 2: it's Scotland. If I'm not it is, I think it
- 6:47Speaker 2: is Scotland. It's a Scottish stone. It's a Scottish stone.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'll only be beat by a Scottish stone. Which are
- 6:57Speaker 2: you can't chew on the stone. You can't you on
- 7:00Speaker 2: a scone. How's that for depth of knowledge?
- 7:07Speaker 1: I like it? All right?
- 7:09Speaker 5: Did you watch the skeleton competition you're talking about it
- 7:13Speaker 5: on Friday?
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, we were.
- 7:15Speaker 5: It was fun. They're head.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're ninety miles an hour two inches above
- 7:22Speaker 2: the ice. So it's not like you're going ninety miles
- 7:26Speaker 2: an hour on a ski slope, which is dangerous enough
- 7:30Speaker 2: and fast enough.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I mean, you're flying, but your.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Head is what five feet above the ice, which is
- 7:37Speaker 2: very different. I say, five hundred miles an hour. Five
- 7:40Speaker 2: hundred miles an hour. When you're an airplane, it barely moves, you.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Just crawling along.
- 7:45Speaker 2: When you look down, this is right on top of
- 7:48Speaker 2: the ice at ninety miles an hour. That is really
- 7:53Speaker 2: scary stuff. Okay, let's do it. We've got some news
- 7:57Speaker 2: I want to share with you. Oh today Michael Monks
- 8:00Speaker 2: and Chris Merrill join us at eight thirty and they're
- 8:04Speaker 2: going to talk about their new show, which starts tomorrow.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Do we know if it's Monks and Merrill or Merrill
- 8:10Speaker 2: and Monks.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Do we know?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Monks and Merrill.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It is Monks and Merrill.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Monks and Merrill starting tomorrow at noon. Monk, that's true, Meryrill.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I've always wondered how do they choose that it was
- 8:22Speaker 4: like John and Ken? And do they flip a coin
- 8:26Speaker 4: or is it more what rolls off the tongue. You've
- 8:30Speaker 4: been involved in this sort of stuff, Neil, Yes.
- 8:32Speaker 3: But I will tell you something.
- 8:34Speaker 4: It doesn't matter because you know how many calls we
- 8:38Speaker 4: get a people upset of Ken in the afternoon blathering
- 8:42Speaker 4: on about something or other, or people calling in calling
- 8:46Speaker 4: in show, or it does matter. When I was on
- 8:50Speaker 4: with Tim the Tim and Neil show, Yeah, you know what,
- 8:54Speaker 4: we'd get emails and letters for the Tim O'Neill show.
- 9:00Speaker 1: It's people that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Was Mo Mo as Morris. I want to say was,
- 9:06Speaker 2: But is Morris o Kelly a nice Irish name and
- 9:10Speaker 2: Mo looks about as Irish as well.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He doesn't look Irish. Let me put it that way.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Well, MO will tell you he's black Irish. Yes, know
- 9:18Speaker 3: what they call it is black Irish dark.
- 9:21Speaker 1: There is such a thing, Yes, there is such a
- 9:23Speaker 1: thing as black Irish.
- 9:24Speaker 4: I just exchanged some texts with Mo the other day.
- 9:28Speaker 4: I was thinking about him.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Okay, are you guys right? Okay, guys ready to do it?
- 9:32Speaker 2: Time for handle on the news with Amy Neil and
- 9:35Speaker 2: me late story. No clear path to ending the partial
- 9:41Speaker 2: government shutdown. And this is ironic because the government shutdown
- 9:48Speaker 2: is about the TSA, FEMA, US Coast Guard, the Secret Service,
- 9:55Speaker 2: and it's all about what ICE is doing in enforcing
- 9:58Speaker 2: immigration law. And ICE is funded. ICE has its money
- 10:04Speaker 2: and got enormous amounts of money because it was part
- 10:06Speaker 2: of the Big Beautiful Bill where I specifically was given
- 10:10Speaker 2: money under that bill as opposed to a general amount
- 10:13Speaker 2: of money that was given to Homeland Security. So it's
- 10:18Speaker 2: Congress is on recess until February twenty third, and we're
- 10:21Speaker 2: into our third shutdown in the Trump administration second term.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Great fun, isn't it. We'll see what happens. People are working,
- 10:31Speaker 2: We went through this and we will again. Certain classes
- 10:34Speaker 2: of people are not getting paid and don't show up
- 10:36Speaker 2: to work. Certain classes have to show up to work
- 10:40Speaker 2: and don't get paid.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And others do get paid and show up to work.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Possible breakthrough. A black glove found near Nancy Guthrie's home
- 10:54Speaker 5: near Tucson, Arizona, appears to match the gloves worn by
- 10:57Speaker 5: the guy in the scene in doorbell camera footage. It
- 11:01Speaker 5: has DNA evidence on it, and the glove has been
- 11:05Speaker 5: sent off for final testing. It was found February twelfth,
- 11:08Speaker 5: about two miles away from the gu three residence in
- 11:11Speaker 5: a field near the side of the road. I thought
- 11:14Speaker 5: this was interesting. They found sixteen.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Gloves, yes, but they said they found they think the glove.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Have you noticed that all talk of ransom is now
- 11:23Speaker 2: off the table. All we're hearing is we're trying to
- 11:27Speaker 2: find the guy who did this, and we're now approaching
- 11:30Speaker 2: well into week three and this does not bode well
- 11:34Speaker 2: at all. This is going to turn out to be
- 11:37Speaker 2: a heart wrencher, even though all the authorities said we
- 11:40Speaker 2: have hope, and certainly the guth three family is saying
- 11:43Speaker 2: we have hope, as you would expect them as they're
- 11:46Speaker 2: reaching out and praying and hoping and going. Savannah Guthrie
- 11:51Speaker 2: doing her videos reaching out. But after that initial I
- 11:57Speaker 2: think it was an initial email talking about the ransom,
- 12:03Speaker 2: that's all gone away. Yeah, it's I don't think it's
- 12:07Speaker 2: going to turn out to be horrible. I turn out
- 12:10Speaker 2: to be a good story. You know, it comes out good.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I'm hoping, I am going I'm I'm wrong.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but as time goes by, it's kind of hard
- 12:17Speaker 3: to keep up that hope.
- 12:18Speaker 4: I get it all right, l a USD board is
- 12:22Speaker 4: considering sending thirty two hundred notices of possible layoffs. Now
- 12:27Speaker 4: this is more than they think they're going to have
- 12:29Speaker 4: to do, but this all is a proposed action, part
- 12:33Speaker 4: of a plan that's close to what officials describe as
- 12:37Speaker 4: an ongoing structural deficit, which is kind of under understating it.
- 12:43Speaker 4: In a December budget filing, the district projected deficits of
- 12:47Speaker 4: eight one hundred and seventy seven million with an AM,
- 12:52Speaker 4: which is only fourteen percent of the twenty eight twenty
- 12:55Speaker 4: seven that's a lot of That is a big percentage.
- 12:58Speaker 4: That's a huge, chunky sou unk. They're wrestling with this
- 13:04Speaker 4: and they're looking at the possibility of layoff, so they
- 13:06Speaker 4: send these out to let people know prior that Hey,
- 13:09Speaker 4: this may go down, but they they're shooting higher thirty
- 13:13Speaker 4: two hundred. It is higher than they think they're going
- 13:15Speaker 4: to need to lay off.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot higher. As a matter of fact, there's
- 13:17Speaker 2: a decimal point issue. It's actually three point two, which
- 13:20Speaker 2: is three teachers and one dwarf. Uh, it's three point
- 13:24Speaker 2: two people that I don't.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Know that you are you supposed to use? Hey, kno,
- 13:31Speaker 4: is that offensive to you? When he uses dwarf? You're
- 13:34Speaker 4: offensive to your people?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Thank you very much?
- 13:37Speaker 2: That dwarf is Oh you can't you wait? Can you
- 13:40Speaker 2: not use midget? Although midgets is a technical.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Term for what is midget? What is midget from?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Where is that word? Why is that offensive?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I don't know where the word fidget came from. Who
- 13:54Speaker 1: the hell knows where the word dwarf comes from?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Snow white comes snow white? Yeah, dwarf?
- 14:00Speaker 1: No, was that hold on him?
- 14:01Speaker 2: And that was the word dwarf was invented by Disney?
- 14:06Speaker 1: No, not at all anyway.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I just say something which I think has some credence,
- 14:15Speaker 2: three teachers and a dwarf, and.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Then you know, we go through a whole discussion.
- 14:21Speaker 3: It is It is fun when conal comes in and
- 14:23Speaker 3: he's like, Hi, Hope, Hope. It's nice. That puts everybody
- 14:28Speaker 3: in a good mood.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Yeah, Jeffrey Epstein has a lot of prominent pals. We
- 14:36Speaker 5: all knew this. The Department of Justice has sent Congress
- 14:39Speaker 5: a list of what it calls politically exposed persons that
- 14:44Speaker 5: are included in all of those files that have been released.
- 14:48Speaker 5: So the list is of people regardless of context. Doesn't
- 14:54Speaker 5: specify the degree to which people were linked to or
- 14:57Speaker 5: in contact with Epstein, but there's a lot of them,
- 15:00Speaker 5: including Princess Diana, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, of course, President Trump,
- 15:06Speaker 5: former President Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, Prince Andrew, Elon Musk,
- 15:11Speaker 5: Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and Woody Allen.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of these are just people that showed
- 15:17Speaker 2: up in articles that were part of the Epstein trial,
- 15:20Speaker 2: and just a mention of you know, Elvis Presley probably
- 15:24Speaker 2: didn't connect to Epstein unless they did it on the
- 15:28Speaker 2: George Norri Show, and it could be Abraham Lincoln for
- 15:32Speaker 2: all we know. So not abe, yeah, abe yeah, Abe,
- 15:37Speaker 2: Also honest, Abe, all right, this is this is crazy, Bill.
- 15:43Speaker 4: So you've got Israel beginning, you know, Obviously there's a
- 15:47Speaker 4: lot of contention here to begin with, but this is
- 15:49Speaker 4: a super contentious land regulation process and this is in
- 15:54Speaker 4: the occupied West Bay, so it could result in Israel
- 15:57Speaker 4: gaining control over these massive swaths of land and area
- 16:02Speaker 4: for future development. And some are just saying this is
- 16:06Speaker 4: a meg land grab. You would take it back. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 4: it's it's nuts weird. They haven't had this has been
- 16:12Speaker 4: frozen since the Mid East War in nineteen sixty seven.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Here is what's going on.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Israel annexing the West Back Bank straight out would cause
- 16:22Speaker 2: international uproar. That's Israel simply claiming the West Bank is
- 16:26Speaker 2: now part of Israel, which is the right wing, the
- 16:29Speaker 2: cabinet in the right wing, the ultra right wing in
- 16:32Speaker 2: Israel wants to do so. They're doing it not by
- 16:36Speaker 2: bits and pieces, this is a massive one. This is
- 16:40Speaker 2: registering that land as part of Israel and saying if
- 16:45Speaker 2: you own the land or you this is to a Palestinian,
- 16:48Speaker 2: if you own, if you claim you own the land,
- 16:52Speaker 2: we want proof that you own the land. Well, some
- 16:54Speaker 2: of this land has been generations in the hands of
- 17:00Speaker 2: Palestinians and Israel this well, bottom line is it real
- 17:05Speaker 2: is going to annex, basically going to annex and West
- 17:09Speaker 2: Bank becomes part of Israel. There'll never be a two
- 17:12Speaker 2: state solution, which is a shame because that's the only answer,
- 17:15Speaker 2: I believe.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Continuing on with what we already knew, France, Germany, the Netherlands,
- 17:24Speaker 5: Sweden and the UK said on Saturday that Russia poisoned
- 17:28Speaker 5: Kremlin critic Alexei Navalni with poison, and they are saying
- 17:34Speaker 5: in their report that it was from a poisoned dart frog,
- 17:37Speaker 5: which led to his death in a pedal colony two
- 17:41Speaker 5: years ago.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I'm doing that story at eight am because that is
- 17:45Speaker 2: a story that has some depth to it. But the
- 17:48Speaker 2: bottom line is the TikTok frog licking contest. I'm going
- 17:52Speaker 2: to tell you, don't do it, guys.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That's the new craze. That's the new TikTok.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Well it is, by the way, it's a thing, you know,
- 17:58Speaker 2: it is is.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a thing.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We are expecting tons and tons of rain.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Amy is that?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Three storms back to back is what I've heard from
- 18:13Speaker 2: the news.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yep. Oh, so what are we looking at a week?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Ten days of this stuff?
- 18:18Speaker 5: No, No, it's it's just through this week and we'll
- 18:23Speaker 5: be back to sunny skies by Friday. But we're expecting
- 18:25Speaker 5: kind of just a series of storms to hit, and
- 18:28Speaker 5: the first one a little bit later this morning. We
- 18:31Speaker 5: thought it was going to hit overnight, but they kind
- 18:33Speaker 5: of pushed that back.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Right, So, who or what region is going to get
- 18:37Speaker 2: the brunt of this, Northern Ventura County, northern Los Angeles,
- 18:43Speaker 2: La Orange County, where.
- 18:44Speaker 5: We're all getting it. It's from northern California all the
- 18:47Speaker 5: way down. They're expecting like five feet of snow up
- 18:51Speaker 5: in Lake Tahoe, and they're expecting snow about a foot
- 18:54Speaker 5: of snow like in Big Bear and and more at
- 18:57Speaker 5: higher elevations.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Hey, let's return to I handle on the news, Neil
- 19:03Speaker 2: and Amy and.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Me, Uh, look out for the brothels.
- 19:09Speaker 1: You got this look out for them?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Wait a segue, big.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Sign on the front of.
- 19:15Speaker 5: These briels where brothels?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well, screw for food?
- 19:20Speaker 4: What only the only thing that came to my mind.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I couldn't say, so I pivoted. So you got this
- 19:27Speaker 4: southern California brothel ring coming down, massive ring busted by authorities.
- 19:32Speaker 4: It is from Ventura to La both counties being focused
- 19:38Speaker 4: on leading to and then you talk about all this
- 19:40Speaker 4: and they go leading to two arrests.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and one of them is the unfortunately named Kevin Dong.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Kevin I think we had been Dong, Yes, And then
- 19:54Speaker 4: we and I are the two and they are the
- 19:58Speaker 4: owners and operators of a sex services website. According to
- 20:02Speaker 4: this release, so more than thirty residential and hotel brothels
- 20:06Speaker 4: throughout California. More than sixty female sex workers were also
- 20:10Speaker 4: found on the website.
- 20:13Speaker 2: There what we don't hear about these busts, although certainly legitimate,
- 20:20Speaker 2: is this is a year long investigation, probably hundreds of
- 20:26Speaker 2: people involved in the investigative part.
- 20:30Speaker 4: So I mean you got to do it, no question.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Don was really really pivotal in this. Without Dong, this
- 20:37Speaker 4: might not have even gone down.
- 20:39Speaker 1: That is correct.
- 20:39Speaker 4: But he, I guess, scheduled the appointments for the brothels.
- 20:46Speaker 4: So the law enforcement said Don was the Don was
- 20:53Speaker 4: the peak of this, and yes, penetrating, Yeah, I get it.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Okay, you can keep on going with that, and it's
- 21:01Speaker 1: getting worse and worse.
- 21:02Speaker 3: He said he was going to come forth.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But god, now now we're moving into that part of investigation.
- 21:11Speaker 2: That is what this show is all about.
- 21:13Speaker 1: See for this stuff. I'm the one that is yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he must have done a boner to get caught.
- 21:23Speaker 3: But what are you going to do? Hello?
- 21:28Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah, Bad Bunny Old Bueno extentally Spanish Congressman
- 21:36Speaker 5: Randy Fine called for the FCC to look into and
- 21:39Speaker 5: ultimately punish Bad Bunny for a Super Bowl sixty halftime show.
- 21:44Speaker 5: He said, had he said these lyrics and all the
- 21:48Speaker 5: other disgusting and explative filth in English on live TV,
- 21:52Speaker 5: the broadcast would have been pulled down. The fines would
- 21:54Speaker 5: have been enormous. Puerto Ricans and Americans we all live
- 21:57Speaker 5: by the same rules, he wrote. So the CEC apparently
- 22:00Speaker 5: did look into it and found nothing wrong and said
- 22:05Speaker 5: he committed no violations and.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Did not use the words as Randy Fine decided that
- 22:13Speaker 2: were used.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I guess he's the only one to heard him, and
- 22:16Speaker 1: he is said.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Let me tell you, the President, looking down from Mount
- 22:22Speaker 2: Rushmore was not happy with this at all.
- 22:26Speaker 4: His nine hundred and sixty five days straight of due
- 22:29Speaker 4: Lingo says he was he was saying naughty words.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Casey Wasserman obviously one of the names that came out
- 22:39Speaker 4: during the Epstein file dump, and now this huge mogul
- 22:46Speaker 4: who said he was going to leave his talent agency.
- 22:50Speaker 4: He's going to be selling it off, but he's going
- 22:52Speaker 4: to stay on the LA Olympic committee. So this guy
- 22:55Speaker 4: is on the Los Angeles twenty twenty eight Olympics.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He's headed it.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and he so he's overseeing this. But he says, basically,
- 23:04Speaker 4: he goes in a memo, I'm heartbroken that my brief
- 23:08Speaker 4: contact with them twenty three years ago, speaking of Maxwell
- 23:12Speaker 4: and Epstein, caused you this company and its clients so
- 23:17Speaker 4: much hardship in the past days and weeks.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So he bailed as one of the premier talent agencies
- 23:22Speaker 2: in town. He goes, I got to get out of
- 23:23Speaker 2: here because you've got these artists that are bailing out
- 23:26Speaker 2: like crazy.
- 23:27Speaker 1: And this is not.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Just he had that basically social intercourse or just a
- 23:35Speaker 2: minimal contact. He was sexting with Julainne Maxwell. That is
- 23:42Speaker 2: that's about as far as those are two consenting adults. Absolutely,
- 23:47Speaker 2: I'm not arguing that. I'm not arguing that, of course
- 23:50Speaker 2: it is. But the point is, this is as close
- 23:52Speaker 2: to wrongdoing as I think anybody has come up with,
- 23:55Speaker 2: short of Jeffrey Epstein and Jelainne Maxwell. So this this
- 24:01Speaker 2: was more egregious. Also, it was twenty three years ago.
- 24:05Speaker 2: At what point you know, I did stuff fifty years
- 24:08Speaker 2: ago that if it came out there be it would
- 24:12Speaker 2: be really questionable.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Look what you said, Look what you said when you
- 24:15Speaker 1: were a teenager.
- 24:16Speaker 3: What you've done things fifty minutes ago.
- 24:19Speaker 1: That's also true.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yes, that's also true that I should be nails for Okay,
- 24:24Speaker 2: moving on.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Made in China stickers could soon be on cars in
- 24:30Speaker 5: the US. Right now, Chinese cars are not sold in
- 24:33Speaker 5: the US, but that could change. Chinese automobiles could hit
- 24:38Speaker 5: US showrooms in the next five to ten years, according
- 24:42Speaker 5: to experts. He says a lot of Chinese automakers have
- 24:46Speaker 5: shown readiness to come to the US to build in
- 24:49Speaker 5: the US right now, they're facing one hundred percent tariffs
- 24:51Speaker 5: if they do.
- 24:53Speaker 1: And have been for a long time.
- 24:54Speaker 2: By the way, this is not just Trump under Biden,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and I think Obama also one hundred percent teriffs to
- 25:00Speaker 2: keep Chinese cars out because they are better and they
- 25:05Speaker 2: are cheaper.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Right and Trump has said recently that he's kind of like,
- 25:11Speaker 5: I'm okay with it if they build plants in.
- 25:14Speaker 1: The US, right if they build them, they will come.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Now the question is the cost of building a plant
- 25:21Speaker 2: and having American workers work those plants, because American workers
- 25:26Speaker 2: will not work for two dollars an hour like they
- 25:29Speaker 2: do in China, and the building of plants does not
- 25:33Speaker 2: cost a third as much in China as it does here.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So I'd like to know how is that going to work?
- 25:41Speaker 4: You know, alther a podcast Bill, it was fascinating breaking
- 25:45Speaker 4: down why those cars would not be as cheap if
- 25:48Speaker 4: they came to America at all, even not for what
- 25:53Speaker 4: you think, but because their safety standards are different, their
- 25:56Speaker 4: drive cycle is different, they drive less mileage than we
- 25:59Speaker 4: do in the United States, and that there's a lot
- 26:01Speaker 4: of things they cut from them that if they brought
- 26:04Speaker 4: him here it would it would put the expense and
- 26:07Speaker 4: make them very comparable to Americans.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And that could be, but.
- 26:12Speaker 2: They're going to have to meet American standards, there's no
- 26:14Speaker 2: question about that, unless the President removes all standards.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But I don't think he's going to do that for
- 26:19Speaker 1: the Chinese. He's not that pro Chinese.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And the point is, though, and he made the President
- 26:24Speaker 2: may be right on this, and the authorities may be right.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Even with all that the Chinese cars, which are miles
- 26:31Speaker 2: ahead of what the United States and the rest of
- 26:33Speaker 2: the world is producing. We'll still be cheaper than American
- 26:38Speaker 2: made electric vehicles, okay, or German made electric vehicles like
- 26:43Speaker 2: I have one, which I'm not going to keep for sure.
- 26:47Speaker 4: All right, three unlikely amigos you've got the White House
- 26:51Speaker 4: borders are Tom Homan giving praise just yesterday for Minnesota
- 26:57Speaker 4: Governor Tim Wallas and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob fray So. He
- 27:02Speaker 4: says that the three have been able to talk and
- 27:05Speaker 4: work together. They're cracking down on illegal immigration in the state,
- 27:09Speaker 4: but they're doing it differently, not the heavy handed way.
- 27:13Speaker 4: They've got agreements apparently, so says Homan. In Minnesota, he
- 27:17Speaker 4: said they are. He never thought he'd be able to
- 27:20Speaker 4: get these agreements. He gives credit to the governor. He
- 27:23Speaker 4: said they had good conversations and this all comes down
- 27:27Speaker 4: to basically letting them know the criminal immigrants that are
- 27:34Speaker 4: getting let out of the prisons.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Right Well, that's what.
- 27:37Speaker 2: The shutdown is all about, how I says, handling the enforcement,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and Holman is saying, it's not the backlash, it's because
- 27:46Speaker 2: we are now cooperating.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's what's doing it. We finally have cooperation and they do.
- 27:51Speaker 4: It in the first place and just say, hey, we
- 27:53Speaker 4: want to do these we want to get the bad guys.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Give us permission and we'll come in quietly.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Because because they're saying story cities, they don't do that.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, and it's and it's this result and
- 28:04Speaker 2: the reason this is happening is simply a result of
- 28:07Speaker 2: the backlash, the political backlash, and the government will never
- 28:09Speaker 2: admit they've done anything wrong ever.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Okay, well, what side of the government are you talking about.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Why didn't they the administration, why don't they step down
- 28:17Speaker 4: as sanctuary cities then and just say we will give
- 28:20Speaker 4: these people over. We do not want you on our
- 28:23Speaker 4: We do not want your ice agents coming in here
- 28:27Speaker 4: in Billy.
- 28:28Speaker 2: And do we know if these quote sanctuary cities, of
- 28:32Speaker 2: which Minneapolis is one of them, will now turn over
- 28:35Speaker 2: people in.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Pers think so?
- 28:37Speaker 5: Colman said that they are, that they're cooperating with almost
- 28:41Speaker 5: all of the counties in Minnesota, which is one of
- 28:43Speaker 5: the reasons they're agreeing to the draw it out.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I would love to hear Waltz and Fray say the
- 28:49Speaker 2: same thing, because I'm hoping that they do agree with that,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and I'm hoping they do go after the bad, the
- 28:56Speaker 2: worst of the worst. As Gnome said, don't know it
- 29:00Speaker 2: point okay, a story about byte dance.
- 29:07Speaker 1: No, not yet, No, Oh is.
- 29:09Speaker 5: Around ready to do a deal? And Iranian diplomat says yes.
- 29:15Speaker 5: They say we would like to pursue a nuclear agreement
- 29:20Speaker 5: with US that delivers economic benefits for both sides. Common
- 29:24Speaker 5: interests in the oil and gas fields, joint fields, mining investments,
- 29:27Speaker 5: and even aircraft purchases are included in the negotiations. Yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 5: says around.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they're running scared because they know that this president
- 29:36Speaker 2: does not screw around. They have said, oh, if we
- 29:40Speaker 2: are attacked, we will retort, we will reply with the
- 29:44Speaker 2: strongest force possible. And they pretend that there's something there.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I mean, they do have an army. They do have
- 29:51Speaker 2: probably the most sophisticated army in the Middle East.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Maybe Saudi Arabia is equivalent to that, but.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Iran is saying, oh, okay, okay, I guess this president
- 30:02Speaker 2: is very serious about this.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Because Trump will unleash.
- 30:06Speaker 3: It's not simple.
- 30:07Speaker 2: He's not a kind of guy who uh you know,
- 30:10Speaker 2: doesn't say what he means or means what he says, yeah, I'm.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Okay with that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Israeli, you notice, is not pushing this, letting the United
- 30:20Speaker 2: States do this. Israel has said it will not let
- 30:24Speaker 2: Iran have a nuclear device.
- 30:26Speaker 1: It will not.
- 30:29Speaker 2: It's just that simple because Netanyahu and he's right. If
- 30:32Speaker 2: Iran has some kind of a nuclear device, it's an
- 30:35Speaker 2: accidential threat to the existence of Israel. Okay, we're done.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Why don't we get out of here. This is KFI
- 30:46Speaker 2: AM six forty.
