Three Tornadoes Hit Delaware | Dover News
Three tornadoes slammed Kent County, Delaware, on August 20th — including a damaging EF-1 that tore through Dover, wrecking hotels, a warehouse, and a Little League field — while two others in Marydel and Hazlettville caused tree damage and farm destruction, all without injuries. The EF-1 in Marydel uprooted trees and flattened barns, while the EF-0 in Hazlettville peeled roofs off sheds and chicken coops.
