- Amanda: What is up guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Wednesday, October seventh. I'm Amanda and I'm here with Drew. Drew: What is up everybody? Amanda: And we are gonna cover everything you need to know about week five. We're gonna get right into the nitty-gritty here. We're obviously gonna also gonna cover a little Monday night football because shit, it almost looks like Michael Penix Jr. does have something going on here. Maybe that Falcons team doesn't suck. It's very odd. Drew: The one unequivocal thing that I have learned after the last two weeks is Cooper Rush sucks and should not be in the NFL. That dude has to be so fucking bad for this team to look this good and look Amanda: Yeah. Drew: so bad in the first two weeks. And basically that's the only difference is him. Amanda: I agree. I think it just goes to show like how incredibly important it is to even have just like a mildly competent quarterback. Cause I do do I think like Michael Penix is the top of the top. Like, no. But like if you don't have a NFL quality quarterback to come hold it down, whether that be a backup or whatnot, everything fucking falls apart. Drew: That's the thing. Michael Penix is not a very good quarterback. He's played pretty bad for his entire career so far. And Amanda: But he's so much better. Drew: and even now, like you watch him play and like he's not lighting Amanda: No. Drew: it up. He's making mistakes. He's not playing that well. He's playing average football at best. And they're moving the ball and destroying teams because teams can't stack the box with all eleven guys 'cause Cooper Rush couldn't hit a broad side of a barn. I mean, this Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: is incredible. Amanda: Yeah. It's incredible to watch just how competent an offense can be with just again, just a mediocre, decent quarterback at the helm. but it is fun because for fantasy football relevance, it actually makes the good guys good and relevant again. So B. John Robinson had a monster game, but you know, the dupe Brian Robinson also had a monster game as well. Drew: Yeah, Brian Robinson had a great game. they were up by so much that I think they did the smart thing. They're up by twenty one points at halftime. So they did the smart thing and didn't overload Bijan with carries in the second half of a game that was out of hand. So let's give Brian Robinson more touches this game, and it obviously didn't slow him down at all because the Amanda: Yeah. No. Drew: Saints couldn't stop anything that was done. Amanda: Anything. I know. It was crazy. obviously not a huge passing game. So guys like London did decent, but didn't do anything spectacular for you this week. But again, it was just nice to see a competent offense and then forcing the Saints to keep moving the ball too, which helps us all from a fantasy relevance standpoint too. Cause I know you had Vele with a late touchdown that saved your ass. Drew: Sure, that that garbage time touchdown, yeah, it gave me the well, I think I would've had the win without that, but it would have like a one point win. So it it would have been very close either way. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. All right. Well, today obviously we've got our week five sit start. We're gonna go over all of our matchups for week five. It is our first week of bye week, so we'll talk a little bit about that as well. We're gonna go over all of our injury updates to get you prepared for week five as well. But before we do any of that, we're gonna kick off with a new segment. We're gonna do Sunday sweethearts. So essentially these are gonna be Drew and I starts of the week for each position. We're each gonna pick one. And these aren't gonna be your bigger name dudes. They're going to be a little bit more of that. niche side of starts that could be weak winners for you that maybe you weren't considering starting, but maybe after listening to this you decide that that would be a good idea. So we're gonna go ahead and kick off with quarterbacks. Who is your quarterback Sunday sweetheart of the week? Drew: Yeah, I've got Jacoby Brissett this week. So Jacoby Brissett? Jacoby Brissett. Amanda: I'm sorry, that's not his name. What's his name? No, keep trying. J one more time. Drew: I'm not gonna say it. Jacoby Brissett. Amanda: Okay. Jacoby the donk for set. I got it. Don't worry about it. I got you. You have to. Drew: Sure, yeah. I I'm not gonna call another man the dunk. No, I don't. all right. y but yes, so look, he's had two good weeks and two bad weeks. He's playing Detroit. I don't really think I need to explain a whole lot more than he gets to play Detroit, and Detroit's defense sucks. And their offense is really good, so they're gonna have to put up a lot of points to keep up with Detroit, and Detroit shouldn't really be able to stop Arizona. So Joby Brissett this week, I think, is a great play. And for all of you, it's a it's a really good play because he's available everywhere. He's not on rosters. Unless you're in a two-quarterback league, he might be on a roster, but like no redraft rosters is he on anybody. So Lamar Jackson managers, we'll get to him here in a little bit. I don't expect him to play this week. He hasn't been officially ruled out, but I don't think he's gonna play. This is the pivot. I've got Lamar in leagues. I've already had people in our Patreon that have asked what to do because Lamar's out. It's Jacoby Brissett because he's available in so many leagues. a couple other options that might be out there but are probably on rosters. Amanda, your sweetheart this week is one of those. Amanda: Yeah. Matt Stafford. So obviously we talked to him about him in our reaction episode of like he's not always gonna be a starting guy. You're gonna kind of like shift him in and out when he has a good matchup. And they play the Bills this week. So obviously, number one we're looking at should be a high point scoring game due to the fact that the Bills need to score on a good Rams defense. However, the Bills defense is not great. and we've seen point or teams be able to get up on them. Matt Stafford's coming off of a shitty game. You would expect a rebound game. We got Puka back for the second. second week, all the kind of stars align that this would be a really, really good streaming start for you. And again, similarly if you lost Lamar and maybe you were rosting two quarterbacks or you have a decision between two quarterbacks and maybe another guy you've been playing has a bad matchup, Matt Stafford is a great slip in this week. Drew: Yeah, I think that's the bigger one with Matt Stafford is Amanda: Yeah. Drew: he's probably not available in your league. Most leagues he has taken. if I look up real quick, his he's n he's ninety-seven percent rostered. Amanda: He's not in any of my leagues. what is he rostered in Sleeper? Yeah. Drew: he's probably not available. This is more of a if you have Matt Stafford, you probably have two quarterbacks that like neither one is the automatic starter. It's like, well, Drake may have a good week last week and I have Matt Stafford. Or I've got Trevor Lawrence and I've got Matt Stafford. Matt Stafford is probably our number one ranked quarterback this week. I think it's a it's Amanda: Yeah. Drew: a fantastic matchup. So I roll with Matt Stafford if you have him. I I think the only guy that I wouldn't play Matt Stafford over this week is probably Josh Allen, and that's just because it's Josh Allen and you can't bench him. So did want to do one bonus one here. it's the only position we have a bonus one for, but we wanted to mention Jared Goff. The other side of that Arizona Detroit matchup. It's a very high scoring overunder. And Arizona's defense is also not very good. And since Detroit's defense is so bad, they're gonna have to score a lot of points. Now, that could turn out to be four rushing touchdowns from Jameer Gibbs, but I doubt that. So Jared Goff also a very good play this week. also in a dome, Jared Goff very good in domes. Amanda: He is statistically known to do very well when undercover. Drew: It's like freakishly it's like his splits are freakishly different between indoor and outdoor. Amanda: I don't blame him. I would also prefer to play in a dome. So I get it. I like to be comfortable, weather tempered. All right, how about our running backs? Drew: All right, running back son sweetheart of the week. I'm gonna go with Quinshod Studkins. I will say that. Brown's running back. Amanda: Pick and choose your cool names, whatever. Drew: That's an awesome name. Also, he played great last week. and he's a part of my favorite team. no, he had a great week last week. It finally kind of all came together. Deshaun's playing good enough football to provide value to his weapons. also playing against the New York Jets, who are 31st in the league. against the running back position in fantasy. So should be a a lot of points available for that running back position and Quinschon is going to get the majority work. Obviously Raheem Sanders has been doing pretty good things with the football, that being the Browns backup running back. but sixty to seventy percent of the work for for Quinchon, I would expect a good week. One touchdown mixed in with his normal workload, and you're going to be very happy this week. Amanda: Yeah. well, I have RJ Harvey as my running back of the week. again, obviously someone who you might be ca as a considering factor for other running backs you have, even though we're in running back poverty right now. There's not a lot of them out there. However, we saw RJ Harvey get involved in like a a lot of the short check down pass game, which is lovely for PPR. We also did see Emmanuel Wilson put up eighty one rushing yards against the Los Angeles Chargers last week. He also had thirty nine receiving yards against them as well. So they're able to run on the Chargers. They were able to get that short pass game on the Chargers as well. And Denver facing the Chargers this week, in my opinion, puts RJ Harvey in a beneficial state. I don't know if J.K. Dobbins is fully healthy or if he's even that good to be used. I think RJ Harvey is slowly starting to take a lot of that control over. And so he would be a guy I look at this week with a favorable matchup against the Chargers as well. Drew: Yeah, JK was pretty bad last week. I mean, honestly, RJ Hurry was bad last week. I'm kinda surprised at this name. It was all in the receiving work. Seven for twenty five on the ground is awful. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Correct. I know. He didn't get much of the ground game going at all, but it was all through the air. Drew: Yeah. Ten I mean if he doesn't have ten receptions like that's okay. I just don't think Archie Harvey's very good. Yeah, they'll have to score. I just I it's a surprising name to me. All right. For our for my wide receiver, sweetheart of the week, I am gonna go with Parker Washington. I think he's got a strong Amanda: Is that a niche guy? Drew: Parker Wa yeah, he's not a a Amanda: Cheater. Drew: superstar every week start. Amanda: He is. Parker's an every week starter guy. Drew: So you think people that got one and a half fantasy points from him last week aren't worried that Parker Washington Amanda: No Drew: is an automatic that's absolute horseshit. So w let's look in Patreon for and how many. Do we trust Parker Washington this week? I guarantee we have at least five of them, all because of one bad week. I wanna give people Amanda: Beg to differ. Drew: I wanna give people the confidence to play Parker Washington after one bad week. Amanda: as you should, but Drew: Yeah, after one bad week. Again, this isn't a this Amanda: We hold on to our boy Parker. Drew: isn't a stream of the week. This isn't these guys that you're picking up off the waiver wire to play. These are guys that you need to put in your lineup. If you're in an eight-team league. Play Park Washington this week, because that's not an auto start in an eight team league. Play Parker Washington this week. I think it's going against Philadelphia, Philadelphia so far, the last two weeks, cannot guard the slot position. Puka last week, nine for twelve, nine nine receptions for one hundred and twenty five yards. The week before that against the Bears with a backup quarterback, Burden and Raymond combined for thirteen receptions, hundred and fifty one yards and two touchdowns. So I'm not scared of Philadelphia's pass defense. I'm more scared of their run defense. So this is a week where I think they're they're gonna have to put the ball in the air and that's Parker Washington. You know, he's their number one target or at least should be. So I'd fire him up this week over just about anybody. Amanda: All right. Well, I'm gonna go with Carnell Tate. Obviously, we're coming off of just one singular good week, almost like the reverse of Parker Washington. One bad week, one singularly good week for Carnell Tate, and they're facing the Houston Texans, so call me crazy. However, the Houston Texans do give up a good amount to the wide receiver slot or s wide receiver role. we saw it with Keenan Allen, we saw it with CeeDee Lamb last week. CeeDee Lamb had 189 yards and a touchdown. obviously, no, Dak Prescott and Cam Ward are not the same person. However, we're watching Carnell Tate get warmed up. We're watching hopefully Cam Ward stay just I just need him to be mediocre and continue to target Carnell Tate on the field. And I do think he'd be a great streaming star for the week. And specifically with some buys out there this week, this would be a guy that I feel confident threading my lineup in week number five. Drew: Sounds good, I'll have to put him in. I've got him in a couple of different leagues right now, and he's in the bench in all of so Amanda: I haven't played him yet. I ha well no, I actually did like week one or something 'cause I was Drew: I Amanda: had no other options. Drew: Yeah, I am the what worries me is yes, Houston's given up a lot. Houston's played really good quarterbacks. Camort is not a good quarterback, so I worry about how Amanda: No, it's fair. Drew: how that translates. And then also, like they Houston has good corners. Like if they put Singletary or Singleton Singletary, Singleton. I don't know why I'm forgetting Amanda: One of those. Drew: his name, but they're Stingley. Sorry, Derek Stingley. That's it. If they put Derek Stingley, who's a on an all pro corner on Carnell Tate. With a bad quarterback and a bad offensive line, just worries me. And as a Tate manager, I would love to have the confidence to fire him up. I just I haven't yet this year. I don't know. I ch I it's all because of the quarterback. This is like a tete from last year situation. I didn't Amanda: yeah. Drew: trust Bryce Young last year, and I don't trust Cam Ward this year. but he Tate's a good receiver. all right, at tight end I have TJ Hawkinson. He is playing New Orleans, who is twenty second in strength of schedule, so that's very good. It's a great matchup. More importantly, Kyler like only knows how to throw to tight ends. Like he's pretty garbage with everyone else, but he got so used to throwing to Trey McBride that I think it's just it's happening with Hawkinson. I mean Hawkinson, week one, thirteen point six points, had Kyler for at least some of that game. Then Amanda: Like a pass. Drew: Then five point nine, three point one, that was with Carson Wentz. And then now with Kyler Murray again, twenty four point nine this past week. Like th thirteen for one nineteen is crazy. Also Justin Jefferson was out. So, you know, let's temper expectations if JJ comes back. But I think you could see ten or twelve points from him easy, even with JJ back. Amanda: Yeah, all right, I agree with on that one. It's a good matchup for this week. well, mine is a little bit more rogue in the goose egg himself, Kenyan Sadiq. he is coming off a goose egg, which is going to piss everyone off and make everyone scared. however, it was an overall just shitty game from the Jets. I mean, Gino was like eight for fifteen. He was 119 yards. I think they had a total of like 34 offensive right sta though, Drew: Still f still through for more than Jalen Hurts. Amanda: which is nasty to think about. Also, I think they they ran like a total of like thirty thirty four offensive plays. It was like the slowest fucking game ever. Drew: They had less offensive plays than the other team had first downs, I think. It's like the craziest Amanda: Yes, it was some incredible Drew: it's like the craziest stat you'll ever hear in football. Amanda: And it was just like they were like, Hold on, Gino, I we're really this isn't going great, so let's just like milk it as much as possible. Drew: Speaking of like not running very many plays, so quick interjection here or side side note. I just saw a video of a there's a high school football game this past weekend where one team did not run a single offensive play in the entire second half, which I didn't think was possible. the Amanda: How does that happen? Drew: they kicked the ball, so the team that didn't run any plays kicked the ball off to the other team. The other team basically is just a super methodical offense. So they took the entire third quarter on one drive. Which I've seen long drives happen, so that's possible, but that's like the extreme. Then after they scored a touchdown, they kicked an onside kick, kicked it right off this dude's like shins that was trying to like recover it, bounced back. So the team that scored got the ball back, then had another really long drive, scor took like half of the fourth quarter off, got the ball back, did the same thing, kicked it right off the same dude's shins on the on the kickoff, and got the ball back, and then like ran out the rest of the half. So one team didn't even Amanda: Jesus Christ. Drew: touch the ball in the entire second half. Sorry, I just Amanda: As a fan, I'd be like, I'm out. This is so boring. I'm done. man. Drew: That's nuts. I just heard that and I was like, my God. Anyway, Kenyan City. Amanda: Kenyon Sadiq, and they are playing Cleveland. Cleveland does let up a good amount of points to the tight end position. We've seen it happen almost every time they've played a team, they've been heavily involving the other team's tight ends, or the other team has been heavily involving their tight ends in the game scheme itself. Kenyon Sadiq is talented. We've seen his talent. He's a good player. I would assume that. He gets more involved this week and he's a streaming option. If you picked him up and played him last week, I think he can ride with it. it is a clench your booty cheeks type of moment, but I like it this week. Scared don't win, baby. Drew: Alrighty. Yeah, that's that's beyond what I would do. Amanda: Let's get into defenses of the week here. So who is your sweetheart defense for week number five? Drew: Yeah, I have the Dallas Cowboys this week. I know they've been a terrible defense all year. It's okay. They're playing an awful rookie. Jalen Daniels did not have a good week last week. He's an undrafted rookie who should not be starting right now. They didn't expect Baker to be out, and he had a good preseason. J he's just not ready yet. So I would expect at least one turnover from him. It's kind of the name of the game of fantasy is you need turnovers from the defense because there were so many more points. Also, Buccaneers offense not that Amanda: Can't move. Drew: yeah, it's not that good, especially with a rookie quarterback. So think of this a lot like the Cooper Rush situation. You kind of targeted Cooper Rush. Well, you're gonna target Jalon Daniels until Baker comes back. So anybody playing Tampa Bay's offense is good for the next couple weeks. Amanda: Do they have another quarterback other than Jalen Daniels? Drew: I assume they have somebody else in their roster. I don't know who it is. They Amanda: You don't know who it is though. Okay. I didn't know if they had like so then they you say they elevated him like from Drew: In the preseason, they had him and I don't know if it was still Kyle Trask or who it was, but somebody that had been a backup there for a while. And Jalen Daniels played well enough in the preseason that they decided to cut the other guy and keep Jalen Daniels. Most teams only keep two quarterbacks on their active roster, and then they'll have, you know, practice squad players essentially. But they didn't since Jalen Daniels played so well in the preseason. They were worried that if they cut him to keep him on the practice squad, because you can only keep fifty three people on your active roster. So like you don't keep more than two quarterbacks. So in order to put him on the practice squad, he's gotta go through waivers and he played well enough that they thought that some other team would come in and take him. So they just made him this backup quarterback. He's just not ready yet. Amanda: Gotcha, gotcha. No, I agree. all right, well, I have the Washington Commanders versus the New York Giants. Obviously, we know Jameis Winston is still the quarterback and will continue to be the quarterback. and a great option. We know that yes, the Giants can move the football. Yes, Jameis Winston is still can still get your your guy's fantasy production. However, he's super duper turnover prone and just like Drew mentioned, you're looking at a quarterback who you feel like is going to give give the ball up and that's who you target week to week if you're streaming your defense in and out. And so I think the commanders would be a great option this week as well. You can guarantee at least one Jameis Winston interception, hopefully. all right. We're gonna move into some injury notes. So Drew, kinda let us know what's going on from an injury perspective thus far. Drew: Yeah, Lamar ankle injury. he has not been ruled out yet, but I don't expect him to play. in fact I would expect him to be out the next two weeks. I believe that they have a bye coming up after that and then they have a range a round of divisional games. Let me look at that real quick. Amanda: I was gonna say I can Drew: Because I yeah, Atlanta this week. I'm sorry. This week he's not gonna play. The week after that, they'll have Cleveland, then Cincinnati. So two divisional games. So like I don't think he's gonna play this week. so prepare for that. Baker obviously still out. Jaden Daniels is questionable to return this week with Marcus Mariota, who just got hurt this past weekend. I would expect Jaden Daniels to be back this week, but it still has not been announced. Amanda: Or maybe they throw Flat Stanley in for another week. I don't know his real name, but that's what I called him the whole time. Drew: Calic Manis. A Athena Caliac Manus? Amanda: yeah, that's a it's quite the fucking name, so that's also probably why I called him Flat Stanley. He also looks like a fucking Flat Stanley, it's great. Drew: Caleb Williams, he is confirmed out for week five, so we'll be waiting another week on that. Tyson Bangent will start again. Saquon Barkley, testing indicated that it's not believed to be a serious hamstring injury. I I still have not seen him be ruled out yet. He's still questionable, so there's a chance he plays this week. Brees Hall, considered week to week, still don't know if he's in or out this week. Jeremiah Love popped up with an ankle injury after the game. He is something to monitor as we go into the weekend. Kamanungay, thumb injury, listed as questionable for this weekend after the big week last week. So keep an eye on that. Jamar Chase, DNP, still going through a concussion protocol. You're probably not going to know that until Saturday. He's got to clear it, I think, by Saturday in order to be able to play. T. Higgins, big improvement here. He was a full to participant in practice, so trending towards playing. Rasheed Rice, hamstring. Looks like he might not miss any time. Obviously he's on a bye this week, so that kind of takes Amanda: That helps. Drew: care of that one. Ladd, foot injury. I I just he's a full bench between injuries and that team being bad. Justin Jefferson, there is a he was limited on Wednesday, which is great. There's still a real chance that he sits this week. So you really gotta pay attention to that going into the weekend. Terry McLaurin still practicing on the side, missed last week with a hamstring, so we'll see. And DJ Morth, his shoulder, isn't believed to be long term. I who knows? I think he's a guy that's probably gonna be on the injury port every single week this year. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: And you just have to check on Friday or Saturday and see if he's gonna be active or not. Amanda: Absolutely. All right. Well, let's get into our matchups of the week. We're going to start with our first game, which is Tampa Bay versus Dallas. This is the Thursday night game. the betting line has Dallas favorite at eight and the overunder set at 47.5, which is not an incredible. I I thought that was a little bit high for the fact that, but again, Dallas not a great, great defense. Maybe they think that they can get the ball moving a little bit. Drew: I think this is they expect Dallas to s I mean it's an eight Amanda: Dallas to whoop Drew: it's an eight point so I would expect it's Dallas to s to score twenty five plus points. Amanda: Sure. Okay. There is one player I'm looking at for Tampa Bay and it's Bucky, and that's it. I think everyone else, in my opinion, is sit him down on the bench. That includes Emeka Buka. Drew: Yeah, I think I would agree with that until I see anything from Jalen Daniels. Amanda: Yeah. Give me some like sit start options that you would consider going down for a Mecca if someone's looking at that on the roster. Drew: Playing over a Mecca. Amanda: Yeah. Like w you would go down the Vele rabbit hole if you needed to, no problem. Drew: Yeah, yeah, I don't d think that's a rabbit hole at all. Vele's been incredibly productive. let me look here. I would play Jacoby Myers over Mekuka. I would play Khaf Raymond. I would play Keon Keon Coleman, yeah, Amanda: Okay. That that yep, that's Coleman. Yep. Okay. Drew: for sure. I Cortland Sutton against the Chargers, DJ Moore if he's healthy. I would play Marv over. And that cake booker. Mm-hmm. Amanda: Over Emma Cabuka. Okay. for the Dallas Cowboys, basically all of your normal guys you're gonna give a go. Dak Prescott, Javante Williams, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jake Ferguson, TJ Hawkinson ahead of him, obviously. Any consideration of putting him in your lineup? Drew: I mean, I never try to put him in if C D and Pickens are still there. And sometimes that bites me in the ass, but more often than not, it doesn't. He he's an okay play this week, but I I I think you should probably have better options. Now, if you don't, if you're like bottom of the barrel, like, you know, if you've got Ferguson and I'm trying to think, like, Amanda: Schultz, let's say. Drew: yeah, I would play Ferguson over Schultz this week or over a Hunter Henry or Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: a Fryermouth or something like that, but like Amanda: Okay, Drew: Not over Amanda: that's it. Drew: not over your normal guys or Hawkinson or Fannon or Sadiq. Like I'd play all those guys over Ferguson. Amanda: Okay. and Dallas Cowboys start Drew already mentioned it in the sweethearts for the week, but that is a good defensive streaming option as well. Moving into our international game, we have Philadelphia Eagles versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Do you know where this is at? London? England. Drew: England England again, yeah. Three straight weeks. Amanda: three straight weeks. Okay. Betty Line favors Jacksonville at seven, which Drew was actually flabbergasted when we were. Drew: Yeah, that's a lot. Amanda: Going over this at first. And the over under is set at forty two point five. So yeah. it is a Drew: Yeah, that's a big line. That's a really big line. Amanda: yeah, it is a big d I mean, obviously they very much have Jacksonville favored and that just goes to show like Drew: Well, they expect that tells me that Vegas expects Barkley to sit for sure. And Devontae and Devontae Smith to still sit. There's n Amanda: And maybe Demonte? Yeah. Drew: that's I I know Philadelphia's not looked good, but they've been in very competitive games. They they Amanda: But that it's insane. I agree. Drew: have they have got to expect those two to sit in order for it to be a seven point line. That's just a that's too big. Amanda: Absolutely. all right, well give me your set starts for the Eagles. Drew: s sits across the board except for maybe Don Tavian Wicks. Amanda: Okay. Would you play Drew: Yeah, I don't Amanda: you you wouldn't go down like a lot of people spend a lot of waiver priority and a lot of big bucks on Will Shipley. If Saquon Barkley doesn't play. Woody Marks, Will Shipley. Houston Place, Tennessee. Drew: Woody Marks. Will Ship? No, Woody Marks. Yeah, Woody Marks. Can Amanda: gain well. Gainwell. Drew: I probably don't go down that far because it's also a bad offense. Yeah, I like Amanda: Okay. Okay. Drew: look, he he's gonna if Barkley's out, he's gonna get a lot of work. If Barkley is available to play, I think I sit Barkley and I sit Shipley. The biggest reason being if Barkley plays one, you have re injury risk with the hamstring, which is very high with hamstrings, two, they will not play him 70% of snaps. Amanda: Mm mm. Drew: At most he'll get fifty percent because there's no reason on with a hamstring and a long season that you're that you're gonna give him twenty five carries. It's just it would be malpractice. So I expect him either to sit or to have a limited role. And Jacksonville's defenses look good, so I I I think I'm a full sit other than Dontavian Wicks. I think Don Tavian Wicks is a decent play this week. 'cause Jacksonville can get got through the air a little bit. Amanda: Okay. from a Philadelphia or from a Philadelphia, from a Jacksonville Jaguars standpoint, Byshell Tutin, good to go, Parker Washington, fire him up. Trevor Lawrence, I I I'm team Trevor Lawrence, but would you go like Jacoby Brissett, Trevor Lawrence, Jared Goff, Matt Stafford, any of those guys ahead of T Law? Drew: Matt Stafford, Matt Stafford and Jared Goff should be played everywhere. So I play them over Trevor. Jacoby. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Not that that's the most common double stack to have, but it happens. Drew: Jacoby. Jacoby, I mean I think Jacoby has a better matchup this week. I also the the difference in talent level from Trevor Lawrence to Jacoby Brissett is very large. So Amanda: Big. Drew: like I probably go Trevor Lawrence just because the floor I think is higher. Like I don't think Trevor Lawrence is gonna go out and throw and and have a six point game. Br Brissett could theoretically do that. it's also a worse team. Like Arizona's team is a little bit worse, but Stafford is better than Trevor Lawrence and golf is roughly the same. So but I do play those over him. But I think Trevor Lawrence Amanda: Are you going down Drew: is in most lineups. Amanda: what about Chris Rodriguez ahead of Will Shipley or Barkley? Would you do go down that rabbit hole? Too far. So in the Gainwell C rod world, we are too deep. Okay. Okay. Drew: No. No, no, no, no. Philadelphia's defensive line is still good. Yes. Yep. Amanda: and then the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think that's a good defensive start this week as well. Drew: Yeah, I think that could be a good defensive start. we said Parker Washington. I think Jacoby Myers is an okay flex this week as well. Yep, I Amanda: Mm-hmm. A flex. Okay. Drew: think Jacoby Myers could be flexed this week. Now he's a a lower ceiling play, but I I think he could be played over everybody Amanda: Okay. Drew: else. Amanda: All right. Let's move into the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Miami Dolphins. Betting line has Cincinnati favored at seven. And the over under set at on the road. Well, yeah. Yeah. Drew: On the road. It's a lot. That's a lot for a road team to be favored. Amanda: Overunder is set at forty two point five. Joey B and Chase Brown. Yeah, the good to go. Drew: Yep. And T if he plays. Amanda: T and obviously Chase if he plays. Both of them get locked. Drew: Sure. Yeah, if c if if Chase is cleared, he's a full go 'cause it's a concussion. So like once you're cleared you're fine. T is the one that has the chance of re aggravating an injury, but it's too good not to put out there. Yeah. Amanda: How do you not play him? Yeah. I think that Gosicki could be a start if both re si wide receivers or at least one of them miss time. I think it's an option. Drew: I if if one of the two receivers, Chase or Higgins, are out, Gasicki is a great streaming option this week at tight end. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: If both are there, I still don't trust him, Amanda: I wouldn't do it. Drew: even though he's been productive in three or four weeks, but I can't do it 'cause he'll be yeah. Amanda: No, I d I think it's too roulette too, where you're like hoping. I think TJ Hawkinson has more of a chance to be actively involved. would you is there if let's say T and Chase were both out, would you look at any other wide receiver from Cincinnati if you were d okay, Dante Myers? And then would you start Drew: Dante Myers. Yep. Dante Myers. Yep. he Amanda: him ahead of like Jacoby Myers? Okay. Drew: Yes. Yeah, if both of them are out, yes. Th the number one target, whoever the number one receiver is for the Bengals, if T if it's Chase or if it's Amanda: They both. Drew: T or if it's My whoever it is is very valuable. So yes, I would play him, but only if the other guys are out. If one of the two is out, then I think he becomes a flex play. If both are playing, no. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Miami. Ollie Gordon. I mostly because if you got him, you probably gotta play him. I don't know if you got many other options out there. Drew: The decent play. Amanda: Volume of work too is good. So like that's a perk. I don't really think there's anyone else. Drew: Ollie or Ollie or Alvin Camara versus Minnesota. Amanda: I'd probably play I'd play Ollie Gordon. Yeah. Drew: So would I. J.K. Dobbins. Amanda: I'd play Ollie Gordon. Drew: Tony Pollard. Amanda: I'd play Ollie Gordon. Yes, I'd play Ollie Gordon. Drew: J C Amanda: Ollie Gordon. Drew: David Montgomery. Amanda: I'd play Monty and fucking pray. So Drew: Okay. It's a good matchup. Amanda: yeah. how about Malik Washington? obviously this is a guy that some people roster. It's a flex option. It he is gonna be the best wide receiver option for Malik Willis. Drew: Yeah, I yeah, I I think it's a fine flex option. Amanda: Okay. Jacoby Myers from Lake Washington. Drew: probably Malik just because he's the main target. Amanda: Khalif Raymond, Malik Washington. Drew: who the Bears play? Amanda: Green Bay. Drew: Cleave if it was Caleb Williams, I would say Khalif Raymond for sure. Amanda: I'd probably lean the Lake Washington on that one. Drew: Yeah, that's fine. Amanda: and defense. Okay. I've put maybe question mark on my notes because I was nervous. Drew: Cincinnati Bengals defense for sure. Malik Willis is not good. No. No. Malik Washing Malik Willis is not a good quarterback. I they just wasted so much money paying him. Amanda: Unfortunately. all right. Moving on to the Las Vegas Raiders versus the New England Patriots. They do have New England favored at three and a half. This is at home for New England, and the over underset at forty five point five. yeah. So Genty and Brock Bowers. Yeah, I think. Drew: Genty. Bowers. Yep. And you can and you can play Trey Tucker. if you absolutely have to because of bye weeks, but I'm not trying to put in my lineup. Amanda: And you would play like Malik Washington ahead of Trey Tucker. Okay. And Khalif Raymond ahead of Trey Tucker. Drew: The only thing is, New England is very good against tight ends. So this Amanda: Correct. Drew: actually might be a sneaky play, Trey Tucker. You know what I'm coming around on. I think it could be a sneaky Amanda: Yeah. I I don't disagree with you. Yeah. Drew: play. Amanda: I think it's it would be an under the radar situation that wouldn't feel great. You'd be real nervous about it. Drew: Honestly, it just depends on what they do with Christian Gonzalez. Christian Gonzalez is a very good cornerback, maybe the best in the league, and being a New England's cornerback. if he shadows number one receivers a lot, that's Brock Bowers. So if they find Amanda: Brock Bowers. Drew: a way to shadow Brock Bower, because Brock Bowers also lines up split wide out a lot, I'm wondering if they'll not have him split out as much that way Christian Gonzalez has to come into line to face up with him or in order to get Brock Bowers maybe lined up against someone else. just a little cat and mouse game there, but you don't sit Brock Bowers. So I I don't Amanda: No Drew: think I I wouldn't play Michael Mayer this week though. I know that they're Amanda: No. Drew: they've very involved with two tight ends. This isn't the week yeah, Amanda: three. It it's been the tight end show. Yeah. Drew: this isn't the week to do that in my opinion. Amanda: No. and for the Patriots, I know that Drake May had a good week last week. I I still think he's a full sit for me this week. the Raiders do put good pressure on the quarterback. and Drake May's struggling, so it's not something that I feel super good about, but you might be in quarterback poverty, but I would go Jacoby Myers ahead of Drake May. Drew: Sounds good. I I j I don't wanna have an opinion on Drake May. I I have no idea. Now I'm conflicting thoughts. Now now maybe maybe I'm back. I don't know. Amanda: He g he got you confused? no, maybe I'm back. Drew: He threw some beautiful balls last week that just if if he had AJ Brown, I would have told you this is a good play. The problem is Matt Collins has Amanda: Okay, okay. You don't. Drew: been hurt and what Fton Chishol is like he made a great one handed catch, Amanda: D. Drew: but like is that like a once in a lifetime type thing for him or what? Like I just Romeo Dubbs, Matt Collins, Pop Douglas, Efton Chisholm, that it's just it it doesn't inspire confidence. Amanda: Who did New England played the Bills last week, right? Drew: Yes, and one. Amanda: I think I think did someone say like they came out and were like, Yeah, you can beat us with like practice squad guys, it's fine. Like they made some like shade at them or something. Drew: No, it's CJ it was CJ Gardner Johnson, who's a defensive back for the Bills, and asked in like an interview post game. And he had basically made some kind of rude comments about Efton. But like Amanda: He sh he shaded the dude. Drew: he did, but it was basically like, you know, they just it was a guy that just got called up, meaning called up from the practice squad that made the play of his life that we'll never hear from again. Like, it's fine, we'll move on and work on it for next week. So like it was very disregarding of what Efton Chisholm did. He's also probably not wrong, but Amanda: He's probably not wrong. He was just being real direct and honest. Drew: yeah, or or like, dude, you've been on like eight teams in four years because you keep getting run out of town because you're not good enough. So how about you just shut your fucking mouth? but you know. Amanda: all right. Well, how about running backs for New England? Ramondre, Trevion, in my opinion, both can be played. they're both playable guys. They're just Drew: I can't imagine you not like in a ten team or more, Amanda: You have to. Drew: if you have the luxury of not playing them because you've got other good running backs or like two good running backs plus four receivers to play with flex, then like good for you. Most of us mere mortals out there that are just struggling, yeah, Amanda: Good for you, we hate you. Drew: you're probably gonna have to play both of them and just hope your running back is the one that gets a touchdown and doesn't fumble the football. Amanda: None Yeah. None of the wide receivers though, correct? Drew: You can play Romeo Debs. Amanda: Okay, that would be the only considerable one there as well. Hunter Henry, I think you have better tight end Drew: Now Amanda: streaming options and the Raiders defense question mark. I also had a maybe question mark next to that. I didn't want to commit, Drew: Yeah, I Amanda: damn it. Drew: I'm kinda out on both of them. Amanda: I am too. I I think that you have better options. Like, even like we said, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, like I think there's better options with good matchups. Drew: If I played one of them, yeah, if I played one of them, it would be the Raiders because they can get pressure on the quarterback and the Patriots offensive line doesn't always protect Drake May. And like Amanda: hasn't been great. Mm mm. Drew: Drake May can throw picks, but like what hurts most what hurts hurts more than that is getting blindsided and a sack fumble. It's the sack fumbles that gets him and like Amanda: Taking like four or five sacks a game, getting nailed. Yeah. Drew: Max Crosby is a top three defensive end in the league, top four. So all right. Amanda: That dude is frightening. all right, Minnesota Vikings versus the New Orleans Saints. the Betty Line has Minnesota favored at one and a half and the overunder set at 42. I actually was shocked that they have Minnesota favored, but I don't think they're that good. But Drew: not me. Yeah. I I I don't think their offense is very good, but their defense is very good. So this is their first Amanda: Yes, you're right, you're right. Drew: real test though, so I I think it's pretty easy. I think this entire Amanda: A A Ron. Drew: Yeah, you play you play Aaron Jones and you play JJ if he plays, and if he doesn't you you play Addison, Amanda: Addison. Drew: but you don't play Addison if JJ's there and you play you can stream Hawkinson this week and then that's it for the Vikings. Amanda: greed. the Saints. I know the Shuck question will probably be loud and proud this week. So would you go like Drew: I I I would try to pivot away from him this week. This is a good Yeah. Amanda: Okay. And usually if you have Shuck, you have two quarterbacks. So that's the good news. You probably play your other guy. So if you have T Law and Shuck or Dak and Shuck, you just Drake May, Drake May. Yep. Yep. Fair. Yeah. Really bad. Yeah. Drew: Or or Drake May, because Drake May struggled and you picked up Shuck, I would play Drake May this week over Shuck. It's just a really bad matchup. And like Atlanta just kind of made you look bad. So I would, you know, he is a year two player. He he's gonna struggle a little bit, so Amanda: Chris Olave obviously i is a go. I think that was a half to half to play situation. Devon Vale Drew: Devon Vale can be flexed. Amanda: can be flex played. Alvin Kamara. Drew: I want other pieces I want other people instead of Alvin Kamara this week. This is a very tough defense and Alvin just doesn't look that good. So I would like to Amanda: Neither does Kendra Miller. Drew: no. They yeah, they all look bad. So hopefully they actually Amanda: Who Drew: use HN Junior when he gets back. Amanda: So you'd play Woody Marks ahead of Alan Kamara? Drew: No. Amanda: You'd play Avon Kamara ahead of Woody Marks. Drew: Yes, j and that's just purely okay, let me rephrase this. If it is a P full PPR league, I am absolutely playing Alvin Kamara just simply because he could have six catches for ten yards and ten carries for fifteen yards, and that will probably be enough to outscore what he marks if he doesn't score a touchdown. Amanda: Okay. defense, Minnesota Vikings. Juwan Johnson. Shit, how'd I forget about Mr. Juwan Johnson? Drew: Joan Johnson also you keep playing him. He's too yeah, he's too involved. And then Minnesota Vikings defense for sure. And you could play the Saints defense Amanda: Agreed. Drew: against a turnover prone Kyler. Like you can play, you can play the Saints defense this week. There's better options, but if you have you probably don't need to upgrade. Amanda: Yeah. All right, Cleveland Browns versus the New York Jets. The betting line has the Jets favorite at one and a half and the over-under set at forty point five. Drew: Now this game did since the opening, it started as a three point Jets favorite. It has been bet down to a one and a half. So public is more Amanda: Which is correct. I was honestly it was like Drew: I was surprised when the Jets were favored at all, honestly. Amanda: Me too. Drew: and then I saw it be bet down from three to one and a half, which is more appropriate. And the overunder went up from thirty eight and a half to forty and a half, which I also think is appropriate. Amanda: Okay. we already talked Quinshawn Judkins. He is a start for us this week. Drew: Yep. Dentel Boston. Amanda: Denzel Boston, Harold Fannon Jr. Drew: Yep, I would play both of them. Amanda: Mm. Okay. any sit start options for Denzel Boston, like if you were looking at Boston or Carnell Tate? Drew: It's a really bad matchup on paper, but Amanda: It is. Mm-hmm. Drew: Cleveland week after week, like they get the ball to Denzel Boston. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: So I play Denzel Boston over who does Carnell Tate play this week? Amanda: Houston. Drew: Man, that's a tough one. Amanda: I know. Drew: I played Denzel Bo mm. Amanda: He got nervous. I don't want to make that decision and tell someone to do something. I see I wouldn't I would play Drew: I flip a I flip a coin and blame the coin when it's wrong. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's I think that one's pretty much a toss up. Amanda: Carnel Tate over Denzel Boston personally, but that is just me. Drew: You're a Browns hater, what can I what can I expect? Amanda: Haters gotta hate, baby, haters gotta hate. all right, New York Jets Garrett Wilson. And Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: I think Kenyon Sadiq is a fine flex tight end if you need one. Drew: Agree to disagree. Amanda: agree to disagree, that's fine. I mean, if you had Brees Hall, you probably gotta play Braylon Allen. I don't really love it, but Drew: Yeah, it's not a great matchup, but i i he could volume his way. Amanda: No, my favorite. I mean again, we people can run against the Browns. Yeah. That's what I said. It's it's more volume than anything. Yeah. Drew: He can volume his way. Yep. Amanda: And I mean I'd probably play Berlin Allen ahead like Will Shipley. Drew: Yeah, for sure. Amanda: Yeah, cool. Cool. defenses. Cleveland Browns. Yep, that's what I said. Yep. Drew: Browns. Yeah. I think you can play the Browns this week. Amanda: Geno Smith is turnover and later in the year Geno gets a little tired. He throws more picks. he's tired, don't worry. They had to slow that offense down. Drew: Later in the year it's week five. All right. Let's go to the Indianapolis, let's go to the soon to be three win Indianapolis Colts versus the what two win Amanda: Don't even That's why you wanted to announce this game. Drew: Pittsburgh Steelers. betting line, Pittsburgh is favored at two and a half at home, over under forty four and a half, which is pretty high, honestly. And that also has this has also been bet up. So it started as a lower over under and has been bet up, which makes sense. Steelers have been scoring points, so that's good. Amanda: Surprisingly. Drew: Jonathan Taylor, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren in your lineup, pretty easy. From Pittsburgh, you've got Jalen Warren and Amanda: DK. Drew: DK, in my opinion. He still gets a ton of work. So the Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: the questions I have in this game, I I don't look at tight ends from the Amanda: Mm. Drew: Steelers. Mine are Aaron Rodgers. Is he a flex play this week? Or a flex a streaming quarterback this week? Amanda: No, I think there's way too many better streaming quarterback options to have to go down the Aaron Rodgers rabbit hole. I would even go down the Jameis Winston rabbit hole before I went down the Aaron Rodgers rabbit hole, but that's just me. Drew: Okay. I think he could throw for another I think at t twenty four points. I don't know. He's Amanda: Yeah. I Drew: just they he's they've been throwing the ball. He's he's scored over twenty points I think in three straight weeks. Amanda: I know, I know. I just I'm scared. Drew: Let me look real quick. Amanda: I'm scared. I'm scared. Drew: He also doesn't really throw a lot of interceptions. I'm just kidding about that. He's thrown five this year. Four. Amanda: He's taking a lot of sacks too. Drew: But he's two ninety nine and two ninety two the last two weeks. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Yeah. Amanda: It it could be an option. It's just gonna feel gross. Drew: All right. And then what about Roman Wilson? A lot of people picked him up. Also, for all Amanda: I know. Drew: of you out there that are still holding on to Michael Pittman and keep asking questions on should I start Pittman? No, you shouldn't. And all Amanda: Don't start Michael Pittman. Drew: and also drop him because he's worthless. So just I mean, Amanda: Drop it Drop it like it's hot. Drew: don't just drop him for nothing, but like there's a lot of better options than Michael Pittman, who like Aaron Rodgers doesn't like him. It's pretty clear. So like just move on. Amanda: He's like made rude comments about it. Drew: Yeah, like the amount of questions I get on like I can't trust DK Metcalf after his start and then like they're like, Should I start Michael Pittman? It's like what the fuck are we talking about here? Like DK Metcalf has had a ton of targets the Amanda: Time. Drew: entire season and they just didn't connect for two weeks. He's still getting targeted. Michael Pittman doesn't even get targets. Like w why are we even considering this? Amanda: Yeah. Drew: So Amanda: no, I'm not going down the Roman Will bit whether hello, Roman Roman Drew: Wilson. Amanda: Wilson rabbit hole. Personally, I think there are better flex options out there, even I who we talked about some people earlier, but I'm trying to think of somebody off the top of my head. like I mean Drew: He's had a touchdown in the last two weeks. That's where most of us it's just been big plays. If he doesn't have a big play, he's not he's scoring six points. Yep. She's just chas chasing Amanda: I know. Yes. You're gonna be really disappointed. Like really, really disappointed. Yeah. I just think, Drew: the dragon. Amanda: yeah. I think there's more guys that are being targeted more frequently that have more involvement consistently than just the big play of Roman Wilson. I agree. Yes. I did hold on to Drew: Steelers defense, fire up against Danny Dimes. Amanda: them places where I was like, should I shift it? Nah, I'm gonna hold again. all right, Houston Texans versus the Tennessee Titans betting line does have Houston favored at seven and over under set at 37.5. The over-unders are just shrinking, Drew: Rose. Amanda: slowly shrinking and getting smaller. David Montgomery, it's a really good matchup for him. I I fire him up. I also Drew: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Amanda: think Woody Marks is a fine flex option. If you are in a I have Kenneth Walker, he's on a bye. I'm gonna throw good old Woody in there and hope for my boy. Nico Collins, duh. And that's it from Houston, Texans. I'm not going down the Dalton Schultz rabbit hole anymore. I would move on. Drew: Yep. And then for the Tennessee Titans, it is Tony Pollard, Carnell Tate, and Desperation Wandale if needed. It it's a good matchup for Wandale. It's Amanda: Yep, that's it. And like desperate. It is. And like he's still being involved. It's just a scary offense. Drew: Yeah, I again this is a you've got injuries or you've got bye weeks or the combination of both. Wandale is a a pivot option. Amanda: Wicks with Devontae Smith the playing or Wanda Robinson. Drew: probably Wandell. Amanda: Okay. Trey Tucker, Juan Dale. Drew: Trey Tucker. Amanda: That's all I have off the top of my head. Roman Wilson, Wandale. I lied. Okay. I was like, I like what you were thinking. Drew: Wandale. Mm. Yeah, probab probably Wandale. It and that it that depends that depends on if I that's a boomer bust play for me. Like if I'm dependent Amanda: true. Drew: if I w if I'm trying to search for a touchdown, I'm gonna go Roman Wilson. If I'm if I just need a base, I'm gonna go for Wandale. So Houston Amanda: And Houston Texans good defense stream. Drew: Texans defense against Kim Ward. Good stream. Yep. Amanda: Absolutely. New York Giants versus the Washington Commanders. Washington is favored at three and a half and the over-under is set at 43.5. Cam Scadaboo, Malik Neighbors, Isaiah Likely. Done. Over it. Drew: Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Pretty easy. I Jameis is a possible option at quarterback for injury or bye week replacement. Amanda: In that Aaron Rodgers realm, right? Drew: Yeah, I yes. Yeah. He to me, I because I have Lamar, so the injury and it was my priority was Brissett. If I didn't get Brissett, it was either going to be Aaron Rodgers or Jameis Winston. And quite frankly, it was a coin toss between which one I wanted. Amanda: Mm. how about for the commanders? Obviously we don't know if Jaden Daniels is playing or not. Let's assume well, yeah. Drew: Yes, i if Jaden if if Jaden plays, I think you can play Jaden. if Jaden plays, then I think that that means JCM is in. I think that means Stefan Diggs is in. If Jaden Daniels is out and you're stuck with Ethan Kalikman Calicamanus, I believe is his name, then Amanda: Last feeling. Drew: I am out on JCM and Stefan Diggs is probably the only guy that I'm willing to play. Because somebody's gotta get targeted. Amanda: Yeah. Do you think Scary Terry's gonna play? Drew: gonna go no, 'cause he's still working on the side as of today. Today's Wednesday for us, so Amanda: Okay. Mm-hmm. Drew: as of today he's still working on the side. That's not a good look. If it to tomorrow you'll know a lot more. Thursday's practice report is kinda like the telltale sign. Amanda: Yeah. defense wise, we already talked about the Washington Commanders, and I do think that's a good streaming defense option for you this week. Drew: Yep. And I think that the Giants, if if Jaden is not playing, which I expect him to, if he doesn't play, the Giants defense becomes a possible stream against a rookie quarterback. And he and Amanda: Fair. They haven't been that bad either. The giant statements. Drew: Athan, what they're alright. They're they lost a couple other more guys this past week, but yeah, Amanda: did they? yeah, everyone kept getting hurt there. Drew: Calic Manis, Calic Amanis or whatever his name is, is also a seventh round. Yeah, Amanda: I think you're doing very well pronouncing that so. Drew: he is a seventh round rookie. So It's not like l you know, Mendoza's coming into play. Like this is a guy that should this is like Jalen Daniels coming in, except they're different. No, no, no. He he he looked like he b he looked like he belonged in the NFL, Amanda: You know, he didn't look bad though. Like I was I was very happy with his production. He did. Drew: but like what's his face? Will Levis Amanda: taper expectations. Drew: came in in his first start and threw for three touchdowns and no picks and looked like he was the next superstar. And like, look how that turned out. He is somewhere out in Fucking B F E eating mayo out of a fuck with a fucking spoon. Amanda: Yeah, absolutely. And also like adrenaline was high. Who knows? Like some people can just like lock into a situation like no other. all right, Chicago Bears versus the Green Bay Packers. Betting line has Chicago favorite at two and a half and overunder at 46. DeAndre Swift. I think Kai Manungai is a fine start if you need him, as long as he plays. Watch his injury. Drew: Yep. I don't even think it's a need, I think it's you play both of them. Amanda: Okay. I would just watch obviously the the Manungai injury because people have been throwing us off with their thumbs here. Drew: Last thing I said last thing I saw was that it it wasn't a big issue. Amanda: Okay, cool. Luther Burden. Roma Junzay has a flex option if you need him, Khalif Raymond has a flex option if you need him as well. I think all three could be played. My strongest hope is in Luther Burden. The other two are situational based on your roster. Colston. Drew: Yep. And and Close and Loveland. I think you can play pretty much all of these options. Just it's like every other week where not all of these players are gonna go off. You're gonna have one or two that don't, and you just hope it's not you. But if Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: it is your player that goes off, you're gonna get twenty points, fifteen points. So little boomer bust, I mean Swift and Monungai are in and Burden is in. Those are like the locked and loaded. The the other three are riskier options, but their upside is very high. Amanda: Would you go Loveland or T J. Hawkinson if people have both of them? Drew: I would go Hawkinson this week. Amanda: Okay, same here. all right, green bear packas. yeah, so I don't want Jordan Love and I don't want any of the running back room. Christian Watson Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: and Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft. Cool. Easy. That's a clear one. How about either defenses? Cause I'm gonna say no. Drew: Like no, probably not. Like Green Bay or I'm sorry, Chicago would be the one that I would lean towards because Green Bay's offensive line is so atrocious. But like Jordan Love's not that turnover prone. Amanda: No, and like the Bears have been like a struggling deal. It's kind of similar to the Cowboys, where like you don't really want to play them unless they have such a good fucking matchup that it's a no brainer. All right. Drew: All right, Broncos chargers. Amanda: Broncos, Chargers, Betty Line has f Denver favorite at three and a half and the over underset at 42.5 because the Chargers suck. RJ Harvey, JK Dobbins, Jalen Waddle, Cortland Sutton as a lower level flex. I'm kind of desperate, guys on bye, don't know what else to do situation. Drew: I don't understand how this game is only a three and a half line. Amanda: And the Jacksonville Eagles is a seven line? I agree. Drew: Yeah, this doesn't make any fucking sense to me 'cause the chargers are not good. Amanda: No, they're not good at all. And they've they've shit the bed continuously. Like Drew: Now Jacksonville I think's better than Denver, but still Denver's Amanda: Yeah. Drew: offense is really struggling. Amanda: Just looks a little what's happening. but yeah, so RJ Harvey, J.K. Dobbins, Jalen Waddell, and then Cortland Sutton as like a low tier flex option. Gonna fall in that like Khalif Raymond world where like who's gonna be more productive situation. Drew: would you do Sutton or Chris Godwin? Amanda: sudden. Drew: Marvin Harrison. Amanda: Sutton. Drew: Wando. Amanda: Wanda. Drew: Who, really? Amanda: Yes. Really? Drew: sor it's just about BTJ. Amanda: I don't wanna pick. Ew. BTJ. Drew: K C conception. Amanda: Fudge muffins, I would play KC Conception. Concepcion. Is it Concepcion? because that's how I say it my head. So Drew: Conception. Amanda: All right, who you playing for the Chargers, Drew? All of You lined them all up? Drew: I don't want to play anybody. Actually, looking at it, I don't want to play anybody. I I mean I don't know what to do with the running back room because they're splitting three ways between Hampton, Mitchell, and Vidal. And like that's the worst possible thing you could have, especially against a good defense. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: I think I'm a full sit across the board. Amanda: If you can, I would be too. Would you play like I'm trying to think, will Shipley ahead of all three of these dudes? If Saquon doesn't play? Yeah. Drew: Assuming Barkley is out, yes. Amanda: Oof, Pollard. God. Drew: Yes? Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Amanda: They play Houston. Drew: I know who they play. what do I got Hampton Can't I find Pollard? there he is. no, I'd play Hampton over Pollard. The it's just it's just the de Amanda: Okay, as would I. I was like, that's a Drew: the defense. Amanda: deep threat situation. I don't want to play any of the wide receivers and I don't want to touch a Ronde Gadston, so and Ben Yes, Drew: Nope. Nope. And Denver Broncos defense, yes, please. Amanda: yes, good defense. all right, a Drew: Alright, let's get to the fun games. Amanda: more fun game. Detroit versus Arizona Cardinals, betting line, Detroit favorite at five and a half, and the over under at fifty four point five because the D Torrent Lions defense has not been Drew: This Amanda: good. Drew: this is a if you've got him in this game, you play him. Yep. Jared Goff, Jameer Gibbs, Amanda: Clayum, yeah. So Jared, Jameer. Drew: Amon Raw, Jameson Williams, Sam Laporta, Jacoby Brissett, Michael Wilson, Trey McBride, all of them need to be on your lineup. Jeremiah Love, if he is active, you play him. I I don't Amanda: He plays. If he's not Algiers, great. Drew: if he doesn't, I would play Algier. I don't play Algier if they're both healthy. Amanda: Absolutely. Mm-mm. Drew: and then I I I s I think you can play Marv this week. Amanda: Hoof. Drew: I think he scores a touchdown this week. I think he scores another one. He had one last week. Yep, I think he scores another. Amanda: okay. So you'd play Marv over Sutton over Casey Conception? Drew: yeah, I think so. Amanda: Marvel Wandale? Drew: Yes. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Very much so. Drew: Now, this to me is a boomer bust. Again, same thing as earlier. No, no. I I I also mean like I I think Marv has a higher probability of scoring a touchdown than all Amanda: That's fair. Drew: of those guys. I think Marv also has a higher probability of having one catch for four yards. So it is very much a do you need a touchdown guy or do you need a low floor guy? So it depends on what you need out of your team, what your projections are. So, but yeah, I think they're all good options and I don't want any defenses because they're both bad. Amanda: Agreed. San Francisco 49ers versus Seattle Seahawks. Betting line has Seattle favored at two and a half and the over-underset at 46.5. Brock Brock, CMC, Mike Evans, Debo Samuels. Why do I Drew: Yep. George Kittle. Amanda: put an S on the damn guy's name? Debo Samuel. It's like senior. Debo Samuels. Drew: 'Cause it's Debo Samuel Junior or J senior. So you see Debo Samuel Zer. Amanda: Every time I just say it, I'm like, that's not even right. And Zim Drew: You should just say Debo Samuel Zer 'cause you're adding the S from senior, so Debo Samuel Zer. Amanda: The George Kittle. Drew: I don't know why you say his last name. He's the only Debo in the world. Amanda: Because I feel like Devo Samuels is a complete name, but then Samuels, like I can't just say Devo Samuel. It's just Devo Samuels. He's just Devo Samuels. Drew: No, it's Debo Samuel. Amanda: Like, well, there's a lot of these guys I wouldn't say their first name without their last name. I like only when they like are doing something bad, I'm like, damn it, Mike, get your shit together. And then I'll use their first name because I feel like then we're on a friend to friend basis. Okay. Drew: Yeah, but you're saying the name Mike as a singular and there's literally millions of mics and there's one Debo. Amanda: Damn it, Debo. I would just say Debo. I would yell at Debo person to person, first name to first name basis, but that means we're like, we're in it together. When I use their last name. No, he's just singular at that point. Drew: Is he Debo is he Debo's Samuels? Debose Samuels? Amanda: Debo's Samuels. all right, so all of them, fire him up, lock and loaded, do it, live. Okay, Seahawks. Sam Darnold, no. Drew: no. Amanda: Emmanuel Wilson, yes. Drew: Yes. Amanda: Yes. JSN, duh. Drew: No. Amanda: and that's it. Drew: I'm just kidding. Yes, you play JSN. Amanda: Shut up. Drew: and then yes, that is it. And I don't want either defense. If I had to play one, it would be the Seahawks, but like you're just Amanda: Hey and me either. Yeah. I don't want either either. Drew: you're relying on that Brock Purdy pick that's gonna happen because it's the Brock Purdy pick. Amanda: Mm-hmm. The only reason I'm playing the Seahawks is if like I I had them and they have our leg of matchups in the future and I don't want to get rid of them and I don't have any room on my bench and then I'm just gonna say fuck it. Drew: Yeah, let me see who they've got. Yeah. Amanda: Chiadel Who we playin'? Drew: They have I mean, they're in a bad division for it. They play Denver next week at Denver, so that could Amanda: Yeah. Drew: be okay. Then Kansas City, not good. Then Chicago, assuming that Caleb Williams is back. Then they get Arizona, Las Vegas, and a bye. Yeah, it's just they're a great defense. They have a tough schedule, though, which they won the Super Bowl. That's what happens. So all right. Amanda: Yeah. Fair. all right, Baltimore Ravens versus the Atlanta Falcons. They have Atlanta favored by three. because Lamar's probably not gonna play Drew: Another another primetime game that the starting quarterback is out for. They've gotten kind of screwed recently with prime time games. Like no Caleb Williams. Well, no Amanda: Yeah. What the Thursday night game sucks too. No baker. Drew: no yeah, no Baker. They've got no they had no Caleb Williams on the was it Sunday night a couple weeks ago, or maybe it was Monday night, I can't remember. I think it was Monday night. yeah, and then now you've got Penix versus Tyler Huntley. That's boring. Amanda: Phoenix versus Huntley. so I said Atlanta favorite by three and then over under 43.5. Derek Henry, Zay Flowers. That's it. Drew: Yep. Yep. I think Mark Andrews is an okay play this week. Amanda: Okay. I did have someone ask me, like, what are we doing with Shot Bateman? He's can a full drop. You can remove him from your roster. Move on. Move on. Cause they was hurt. Yeah. Those are the guys that like Drew: Yeah, yeah. The only reason that he was okay was because Flowers was gone. Yeah. Amanda: they're never gonna be involved. Drew: if Lamar is active, Mark Andrews is an okay pivot option. We have him right around, you know, tight end twelve ish this week. Like again, you're not benching a big name guy for him. and then if Lamar is out, then do not play Mark Mark Andrews. And obviously if Lamar he's okay. Amanda: Agreed. Yes. Tyler Huntley is a fine backup, but he's not Lamar. Drew: Former pro bowler Tyler Huntley. I'm dead serious he was a pro bowler. But like it Amanda: Good for him. Drew: was like because everybody else said no, they didn't want to go. So that's literally why. Shadur Sanders was technically Amanda: Hey, your denial is my opportunity. Drew: a pro bowler last year because everybody else said no. That's Amanda: Beautiful. Drew: why the Pro Bowl literally doesn't exist anymore, was because Shador was a pro bowler last year. and Tyler Huntley was like three years ago. Lamar Jackson, if he plays, you play him. Amanda: Cool. Atlanta Falcons, B. John Robinson and Drake London. That that's where my list ends there. Drew: Yes. I think you can play Brian Robinson as well. Amanda: I was gonna say, do you think you could put him in the mix? Okay, so give me like where you're gonna level him at with other options. So like Brian Robinson, Tony Drew: Th this is a Amanda: Pollard. Drew: Tony Pollard, this is a bi week injury. You need somebody you Amanda: Okay. Drew: can pick and play him. So like I Amanda: All right, what do you marks? Drew: I have a league where I'm playing I picked him up and I'm gonna play him over Chris Rodriguez. Amanda: I like that. Or how about Woody Marks? Would you which one? So would I. Okay. Okay. Drew: I I would play Woody Marks over Brian Robinson. ye Amanda: It just depends on how much like obviously Bijan's a guy Drew: You know what? No, I think I'd play b I think I'd play Brian Robinson over Woody. Amanda: God, I wouldn't do that. Okay. Cool. Drew: Only only because Atlanta has proven that they can run the football. Amanda: Didn't even you know, I didn't even think about Brian Robinson and now I have to look to see if he's rostered places because I would like to potentially do that. Drew: Yeah, look, he's gotten I the so the reason I got him was if you look at his work the last couple weeks. which B. Robinson am I gonna pick up? Okay, this one. I didn't know which one to click on. Okay, so he had nine carries Amanda: A dupe. Drew: week one, eleven carries week two, ten carries week three, fourteen carries week four. So like d eleven carries, that's that's guaranteed work that I'm very happy with. And the last two weeks with Penix. Amanda: Yeah. And he's big good. Drew: The last two weeks with Penix, five yards a carry and four point four yards a carry. And like they're not gonna not give him carries when when they're going that well. Also, if you're Atlanta, what's your game plan to win? It's run the Amanda: Yeah. Drew: ball 65% of the time with your running backs, and their offensive line is is making it happen. And it's not like Baltimore is a, you know, you can't run on them. You can. It's it's that not as easy as New Orleans or Green Bay, but you can still run on them. Amanda: Yeah. Kyle Pitts, full sit, full drop situation, fifty one percent snap share. Drew: Full sit, I'm not dropping him yet. Amanda: Okay. Okay. He was on the sideline a lot. Drew: Unless unless you have to because you need to start this week. Like if you had to drop him to pick up Gasicki off the way or you off free agency, if chase Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: or whatever, then yes, sure, but Amanda: Okay. Any defense here? Drew: I would lean Baltimore over Atlanta, but no, I don't really want either. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Buffalo Bills versus the Rams for Monday night. Betting line has the Rams favored at three and the overunder set at 54.5. So we have a Drew: That's a ton. Amanda: brawl of the boys, baby, a brawl of the boys. Josh Allen, duh, James Cook. I think Keon Coleman is a fine option, specifically if DJ Moore's out, but I think you could start him regardless. d Kincaid. Dalton. What are you doing with him? Drew: Playing him. Amanda: Yep, same here. Unless you can move him, unless you want to get him off your roster and you can get him out of there, but I'd probably throw him in. we already talked. Drew: Yeah, i if I could tr if I could trade him away, I would love it. Amanda: Yeah. we talked about Matt Stafford. He's a great streaming start this week. Kyron Williams is a go. I personally wouldn't go down the Blake Corm rabbit hole 'cause they're really Drew: Blake Coram can go to hell. Sorry, I'm a I'm a I'm a Kyron Williams stan, so Amanda: Anyways, earlier earlier this week or something, like he said he's a Kyron Williams stan I was like, Yeah, I get it. Or I must have given him like a slightly confused face, but he's like Stan, like a super fan. And I was like, I'm not like a turd. I know what Stan means. I got like I Drew: You looked at me like you had no idea what I was saying. Amanda: got explained it like a ten year old trying to explain new slang. I was like, I'm not that old. Puka Nakua, Devontae Adams, love it, love it, love it, good to go. I think you can don't stream Tyler Higby. You have other tight end options that are better. Drew: Nope, nope. I think it's pretty easy across the board there. Amanda: And then you're throwing in the Buffalo Bills defense, right? I'm joking, don't do that. neither or the Rams defense is of it it I mean, I don't Drew: I don't play any of them, no. Amanda: either i the Rams defense is really good, but like I don't want to play him against Josh Allen. Drew: n n no. You don't play defenses against Josh Allen, that's stupid. Amanda: You just don't do it. You just it's illegal. Illegal. Drew: I just w I just wouldn't do it. I don't know. It's not legal. Amanda: No, I agree. I agree. all right. Well, that is our sit starts for week five matchups. We're gonna get into our final here of for better or worse. This week we are for worse for the record. well, maybe we are together. Relationship status, sleep on the fucking couch. Okay. Drew: You are, I'm not. So as a reminder last week, yeah, I'll have a little pomp and circumstance for it. As as you know, last week we didn't have prop bets. It was a little bit too early when we recorded. So we did a Browns versus Steelers. They played Thursday night. I'm a Browns fan. Amanda is a Steelers fan. So we said whoever whatever team wins the game, that person gets the three points from the prop bet challenge, and of course the Browns won. so the Browns who have won the last eight Thursday night games and haven't lost at home to the Steelers in a very long time. I believe the Big Ben era. so the score is now I am now six and seven on the season and Amanda is seven and six on the season. And let's let losers go first. Who are your three prop bets for the week? Amanda: I just feel disassociated for that entire rant of hell. Okay. So I first have Dalton Kincaid under 50.5 receiving yards on the week. Drew: Okay. All of all three? Yep. Amanda: shit, my bad. Aaron Jones over 71.5 rushing yards. And Carn, it Drew: That's a lot of rushing yards. Amanda: sure is old Aaron. Let's get it done. I have betting interests, so I'm like, let's go. Carnell Tate over four and a half receptions. Drew: I like the Cardinal Tate one. Amanda: Thank you. I knew you'd like that one. I thought that I when I found it too, I was like, ooh, that feels like I found something here. A diamond. Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones. Honestly, I wanted to do another one and it wasn't available Drew: Yeah. I like the Carnell Tate one. I don't like the Aaron Jones one. That's a lot of rushing yards for Aaron Jones. What Amanda: yet. So I pivot. Drew: what were the all per what did you want? What what's the all purpose Amanda: Chase Brown. There's no betting line on him yet. Drew: they can't cause they don't know if the Chase or Hig if Chase is gonna play or not? What what yeah. Okay. Amanda: Yeah, I know. It's bullshit. I don't know what the betting line is. I'm gonna look it up while you give me your profit. Drew: My three for the week. Jameer Gibbs, five plus receptions. Arizona is okay against the run, not good against the pass, so they will throw the ball to get the ball to Jameer Gibson space. Parker Washington, over sixty and a half receiving yards against the Eagles. And Michael Wilson, six plus receptions against the aforementioned Detroit Lions. So that's an easy three for three for me this week. And I should take the lead. So I'm pretty happy with that. Amanda: Whatever. There is no rush reception. No. Mm-mm. Drew: Rushing and receiving? Okay. Amanda: Because Addison and Jefferson Addison did pop up on the injury report, too. It doesn't look like it's anything, but Drew: yeah, that makes sense. Yeah. All right. Amanda: so yeah, that's all we got. And Drew won't be winning next week. Anyways, make sure you give us a follow on social media. We are a Let's Talk Football Married Edition.
