- 0:33I'm so drunk. I'm 76 years old and I am reborn
- 0:47to all the westerns and Eve. The guest on, I'm super pumped a
- 0:52knife today and I'm with the wonderful brilliant.
- 0:56Amazing close to 4:30 jr. I don't respond to any of those
- 1:02things. I'm afraid just one night.
- 1:06I'm well, how are you doing today?
- 1:09I'm doing it. Read it too.
- 1:11One of my favorites now. Okay.
- 1:15Before we get there it's been a while.
- 1:17What is this? We last talks.
- 1:19Oh yeah. Like it was do not think this is
- 1:23entirely my fault because there's been a lot happening but
- 1:28what? Ah, no problem.
- 1:29Do you recall? The enormous phallus that we
- 1:31talked about last time. Yes I do.
- 1:35It's burned in my brain and almost being good is on Twitter.
- 1:38I've noticed that I think trap one we Certainly was talking
- 1:42about creature and there's a lot here at all of it there.
- 1:45Well I'll tell you. All right I don't have I told
- 1:47you this or not but those episodes went down.
- 1:49Extremely well you know so it's evil people love the Creature
- 1:53from the pit or they love us, one or the other.
- 1:56Well, I'm very flattered. I thought I just sleep fumbled
- 1:59on in Talked a little bit, really not.
- 2:03So I fact that they are very funny.
- 2:05It should go back and listen to those episodes is a bit
- 2:07voyeuristic to do so big. It is it's cool, but yeah.
- 2:11All right. What do you tell people?
- 2:12What we're here to talk about today, and I may have given away
- 2:16with a quote at the beginning, but as I say, it's one of my
- 2:19favorites is controversial, because I'm not going to
- 2:22suggest. This is the best David Tennant
- 2:24episodes. I mean, I'm not going to eat it.
- 2:27I'm not going to ever suggest that was as good as human
- 2:30nature. Or it's a drama like the Waters
- 2:32of Mars. But for me, my favorite.
- 2:35David Tennant? As dust won't and it's that
- 2:37we're going to talk about the Lazarus experiment.
- 2:41Yeah. See now, when you said site
- 2:42favorite, I don't think anyone expected you to say that maybe
- 2:45they did after that clothes. I don't think you did because I
- 2:47remember, we talked about what episode to do next and you said,
- 2:51choose a new series one and I said that's one.
- 2:53An, your reaction was, I think more was not expecting that.
- 2:58Well, if you feel like favorite David Tennant, I'll be like,
- 3:00well, maybe playing wait. Be human nature, maybe midnight,
- 3:03you know, someone like that. Do you know what, though?
- 3:06I like, it's not my favorite, but I do think this is severely
- 3:10underrated this episode and I think is very special because I
- 3:14don't know, a little bit of research for this and other work
- 3:17at the poem, have you and then 2015 and Doctor Who magazine?
- 3:22And this story came number 208 of 241 but there's three David
- 3:28Tennant episodes this was below which I don't He went for a new
- 3:31tow, be fans of these stories out there, but I'm like, what go
- 3:35I was below the 80s one on. Okay, which I know you've you've
- 3:40got someone to do the Jets. Like and I'm looking forward to
- 3:42that one because that's just not one of my favorite episodes new
- 3:46AF. Which again, I don't think it's
- 3:51all right, but I don't think it's as good as this and 42 inch
- 3:54below 42 as well. Okay, that's interesting.
- 3:59I was, I remember some of the ones that are right the bottom
- 4:01like fear her and things like that.
- 4:03Yeah. I think the reason this is my
- 4:06favorite though is I guess that's the question is.
- 4:10It's almost like a microcosm of what, I think people think of as
- 4:14Doctor Who. I mean, there's a slightly can't
- 4:16felon because it was running down corridors.
- 4:19There was a bit of bitchiness between the regulars or the
- 4:23guest cast Yeah, I just I don't know.
- 4:28This is it story that I find myself after got the DVD say
- 4:32come back to again and again and again it was just it's not copy.
- 4:36It one is not when you have to sit and think about and really
- 4:39get you can just put this on after fingers, okay?
- 4:43A massive /. We Vibe from this one, you know,
- 4:45going off to a scientific the tube to see a miracle being
- 4:48performed, you could. And yeah, you could argue if you
- 4:52could see this one in the period of deaf, most definitely.
- 4:55Yeah. But don't you, This after Smith
- 4:58and Jones. This is probably the best, like,
- 5:02go forward into the season, the best showcase for Martha and her
- 5:05family. Yes, I do because we get to
- 5:08obviously meet them all game. This is the first appearance
- 5:11that we will. I think brother God Is So prey
- 5:15is the prey? Yeah, he's a, he's a very cool.
- 5:20It's just a shame. He doesn't cause I think he was
- 5:24clashed with filming something else or something, that he
- 5:25doesn't have a bigger role in the later episodes.
- 5:28Oh, okay. So, I do feel one thing with
- 5:31him. Don't know where he's saying, is
- 5:32in Breyer, but I'm telling you now, they were that.
- 5:34I'm Brian. No, it wasn't no.
- 5:37Is that something more wives? Is it was good this one on
- 5:43because obviously, it's it's quite that location and I went
- 5:47down. Broad we've all done it.
- 5:48I don't need Wheels a couple years ago.
- 5:50Did you go? I went to see the doctor, you
- 5:52locations, and put the camera boat.
- 5:54And I do remember, passing this building and thinking that was
- 5:57previously as I see his love. But this is okay, this is a
- 6:03story that people don't really look on very firmly.
- 6:07Do you like? And yeah, it's just like, really
- 6:09entertaining is very witty. It's a bit silly Witch Doctor,
- 6:13Who should be. It's got some great twists as
- 6:16well. I love, I love the the whole
- 6:18thing with Martha's mum, being manipulated Behind Bars.
- 6:22She's brilliant. She's just I know moms like that
- 6:26you're just, you know. You're not good enough for my
- 6:30daughter. So if I open a file that was
- 6:33everyone, wait till yeah, Okay. So we've already discussed my
- 6:39see episode. I'm sure we'll have more to say
- 6:41during it. Should we skip into it?
- 6:43Yeah, well go for that. So I will count as in, then
- 6:47giving you ain't wrote in five. Four, three, two, one, He died
- 6:56have a question for you straight As we start this thing and that
- 7:00is obviously this is David Tennant's doctor, taking them
- 7:03off a home. After the just more one more
- 7:06trip that he's done again and again and again you can ask for
- 7:10a fair No. And I want one criticism.
- 7:14I know a lot people having this episode is because the doctor
- 7:17has, let's be honest, a bit of a bastard to my furnace.
- 7:21I mean that's one more try. One more try to just doesn't
- 7:23feel but my father is such a good character that at the end
- 7:27of this episode and then near the end.
- 7:29She basically she doesn't what doctor please take me again.
- 7:32She basically says well, okay then yeah, if that's the way you
- 7:37feel, you know, I don't need you.
- 7:39So I think she's great. Is this the bit where you grab
- 7:42some knickers? Yeah.
- 7:45Is he gone yet? Yeah, there it is
- 7:59within the new series companions.
- 8:02I really like her personally. I like her better watch out
- 8:07she's my favorite actually I think I know that I think the
- 8:11reason that she's overlooked or is because obviously she's sad
- 8:14overshadowed by Rose been season before and she's got do not this
- 8:18season after who we know was fantastic and organized it but I
- 8:20think Martha Assuming a ballerina.
- 8:25There's something that has a lot of charisma.
- 8:29Yes, I was dealt, it was great to see our I can and tortured in
- 8:35and get and come back as well because you got to see her
- 8:38again. Because as I say, I think she's
- 8:39just all the shopping. Everyone just think, don't know.
- 8:42And don't know. We know cavity is absolutely too
- 8:44pale. But yeah, I think Matt was my
- 8:46favorite and you don't have. The tenant are most wonderful
- 8:51ways. Is he treats her terribly,
- 8:53frighted season, and then come sound the drums where he's like,
- 8:55now you can't contact your family.
- 8:57She's I don't care. I'm going to And then the last
- 9:00drop she goes well fuck you. I'm going to be with my family,
- 9:03you know. Yeah yeah she's independent
- 9:05which is really good. That's probably not a wrestler
- 9:10ending when you say would you sort of the best ending for a
- 9:12new series companion? I think it might be you know and
- 9:18Possibly. Yes, because it's on a
- 9:20long-tailed, the others, you know, sort of affect my
- 9:25circumstance. Really, obviously loses track to
- 9:28the universe. I know she comes back, but she's
- 9:32Trapped In Another Universe toner.
- 9:33As a course, had to be a main point because she's taken all
- 9:36the tables been, let's not get started on Clara as, you know,
- 9:44maybe in the future. We need to redress the balance.
- 9:51Bell is fantastic. But again, she has started a
- 9:53Cyberman and stored. She's it's not on the heart
- 9:55ailment and the only one that's shortly weight.
- 9:58That is obviously like a Graham and Ryan, who's just, obviously,
- 10:04the he made the choice to leave. You know, what's really
- 10:07annoying? This is what these one season
- 10:09companions. So I'm talking about Martha,
- 10:11talked about Donna, I'm talking about Bill, and I'm talking
- 10:14about them. There's some of the best
- 10:16companions, it's so nice. Oh my God, here we go.
- 10:24Velma Barlow, playing wolf? She is so good.
- 10:30Yeah, I mean, I was great. She still alive, I don't know,
- 10:34but as I said, I've done a bit of a search for others.
- 10:36She's 92 know, obviously famous for me verse in Coronation
- 10:41Street and then early eighties or do than watch the nominees.
- 10:45Oh, she was to do a comic timing and that, I mean, she toned her
- 10:49comic timing in Coronation Street.
- 10:50And then we delivered like she was given Victoria Wood dialogue
- 10:54him dinner ladies and she's brilliant.
- 10:56She's not really done much are TV or that sense this not even
- 11:01stuff. We have a bit of a rest now or I
- 11:03can. Oh yeah yeah I mean she's 92.
- 11:06And then the Bears might get us in his old age makeup.
- 11:10All these may just call me. Do you think other thing any
- 11:15science fiction show the most earlier.
- 11:21I mean, again, I just say right, David Tennant, and free regimen
- 11:33in know those clothes that is the hottest.
- 11:36Turn companion pairing. You're ever going to say, I'll
- 11:39be there. Yeah, that's smoking or that's
- 11:42few atoms born from that. That's and the the pods that
- 11:47we've just seen there was a point in the city and put
- 11:50repainted, I believe you really have to do your research for
- 11:53this 7. Yeah.
- 11:54Oh yeah. I've got the complete history
- 11:56books. And you know, when we are
- 12:00introduced to this, this party scene, isn't it?
- 12:03The orchestra actually live playing Martha's feet.
- 12:06Mmmmmm. I swear that's playing during
- 12:08think so yes I don't know if money gold standard but that's
- 12:12because he was in there Voyager. The time wasn't he was in the
- 12:16yeah you want? I don't think he's in the band.
- 12:19Here might be wrong. Oh, he's Tish, but I would like
- 12:23to see a bit more of our as well because they have some great
- 12:25moments. Yeah, it's a shame.
- 12:28We don't see more of her pants him.
- 12:32Yeah, this is a surface with the coast is sort of written by
- 12:35Stephen greenhorn. Who's quite famous up here in
- 12:37Scotland and because he created rather say what's your slope is
- 12:43it's a thought that it's a Scottish or say and God can
- 12:47remember the name though but it's so basically neoclassical
- 12:49the fictional Village has been going on for well over 20 years
- 12:53though. Another doctor is well, it did
- 12:58in the doctor's daughter next year but I'm not ready.
- 13:02I'm not quite eager to do that one Journey to the Center of the
- 13:08tallest today. No, that was it.
- 13:13I think it's Stephen Thompson. Oh, that's it.
- 13:15Yeah, one of the shuttles, I think he was wanted to give them
- 13:18off as you like Green radios. Always had them later on series.
- 13:23I don't just do it as anyway near 54 people say you know it's
- 13:26not great but it's not to be a bit that and that's it.
- 13:32I've not actually. What's the export all on the
- 13:34same of yours? But usually, usually we are
- 13:38looking beautiful. Okay.
- 13:40I can't fuckin ever say her name.
- 13:43I GOI GOI lie and Joe. No, I'm glad you say the cover
- 13:49clerk yet because I'm the worst action plan station.
- 13:51So I would have marked up that I've made givers, who plays
- 13:54Martha's mom. She even that is a prestigious
- 13:57actor to have it on. She's done a lot of good work
- 14:00and since she's been in like Bridget, another things like
- 14:02that, like, she's getting their tastic, right?
- 14:04She's brilliant. What a bitch.
- 14:08Oh yeah. Yeah.
- 14:09She's great and often choose the cat numb.
- 14:13You are. She's a bitch or now as well
- 14:15this is about. Tonight's are we supposed to
- 14:17like her? As I said before, I think she's
- 14:24that she's very believable. I know a lot in moms feel like I
- 14:29think deep down she's a good person.
- 14:31Because in terms of like of like kind of motive for being such a
- 14:35horrible person to the doctor, like she'd been told that he's a
- 14:39dangerous man and you know, her daughter's in a lot of danger
- 14:43like I think any mother would react that way if I am.
- 14:46Absolutely. Yeah.
- 14:48I'll here we go. There's something strange
- 14:50occurring in this glowing pod. That's a pretty good effect.
- 14:53Do you think? Yeah I like that you do as well.
- 14:58And I mean, I'll talk a bit later.
- 15:00But Tim, I love the feminine shape to this a film that comes
- 15:03up all the time and doctors USS whole trying to prolong life
- 15:07and, you know, try to avoid death.
- 15:11And this idea obviously off, I'm just going to extend my life and
- 15:14a treatment, and th myself. Sorry, very years and then do it
- 15:18again? And again, and again, and it's a
- 15:20film that comes up all the time because, especially David
- 15:22Tennant 0. Because obviously, the last of
- 15:24the time Lords, you know, I'm on my way.
- 15:27Think back to 80s Doctor Who the Master was always trying to
- 15:30extend his life was not his ways.
- 15:35Joe I'm sorry. There's some fabulous
- 15:40over-the-top crowd acting in this.
- 15:41You know when it when the shit hits the fan the monster comes
- 15:44out. There's some really over-the-top
- 15:46acting as well. I've got something to say about
- 15:47that when we get to her. Yeah, it looks like dr.
- 15:55Chinnery from legal gentleman. Yes, I believe it's such a that
- 16:01way. Oh, that's why then Yeah, you
- 16:05expect people like Peter Davison.
- 16:07According to the commentary. I was a silly comment here that
- 16:09day for the first. They were joking lovingly seeing
- 16:12you look like Peter Davison, the Mark, when he is an incredibly
- 16:17good actor. Yeah, I think I prefer is
- 16:21accent, is right? And if I'm being honest, I know
- 16:23there's been a lot might get us love and talk recently on the
- 16:27podcast. Not for me.
- 16:29Did you hear my victory of the Daleks?
- 16:32I don't ya. I don't mean that I pursued
- 16:36funnily enough. That's that's one of the ones.
- 16:38I don't mind. But Mom, get a look at your ear.
- 16:41This commentary, say the Lazarus experiment is your favorite
- 16:43episode? All right, so I think you like
- 16:45to contact the court controversy, just a little bit,
- 16:48you know, oh, this is my favorite episode of old time,
- 16:51but certainly, in my favorite tenant, in my purse, the one, I
- 16:54always watch idea of it. And what is it about is Ryan
- 16:57than that? You are less keen on.
- 17:03It's sort of like a meat and potatoes.
- 17:06It may be late. Peter, it's very functionable.
- 17:08It's almost like Justin Richards with the audios.
- 17:11Well, it's a very perfectly functional book, true story.
- 17:14But there's nothing different about, you know what?
- 17:19And you know what Mark Gatiss and Justin Richards, both wrote
- 17:22extremely strong, novels like original novels.
- 17:26And yet we're just enriches these audios and where Mark
- 17:29Gatiss did TV scripts. I was just really A shock to how
- 17:33basic they were and unmemorable. I think this is for me, this is
- 17:38his best contribution Doctor Who is this acting on this episode
- 17:41because I just love this character, I think you just he
- 17:43is eating the scenery. Oh, he's loving it but as he is
- 17:46Rich, he got the scripting for are gonna love this.
- 17:49Maybe he's a doctor who fan. This is his dream come true to
- 17:52play the villain. Yeah.
- 17:53Yeah. comes across from the screen and but no Israeli and I
- 18:06mean I like them quiet did Eddie slight majority of not fun or
- 18:10really any dead loss and See, I can't even remember some of the
- 18:19names victory of the Daleks is also that's it.
- 18:23So it's which I don't mind. And then we're going into was it
- 18:30night terrors Nate dealers and their whole wall.
- 18:35Crimson Horror Crimson Horror has all right?
- 18:38Because it mainly because it down or egg again being a
- 18:41character chooses he really makes it really exciting.
- 18:43But other than that, yeah, it's it's one of the better efforts
- 18:47That season but I'm yeah 77b. Let's just not go there.
- 18:52Sleep no more and I admire that. Try something different but it
- 18:58just doesn't work partly successful, Empress of Mars, not
- 19:04going to find that. When I know it's not it's not
- 19:09Doctor Who but I just I just think other layers are more
- 19:13exciting. Did you see what she did there?
- 19:16She got him to kiss her and she's like well like yeah she's
- 19:22a lover you know I love about Martha is She is proactive
- 19:30without Connor needing to have a head pay as you know, shot goes
- 19:34off and just does it because it's the right thing to do.
- 19:37You know and she's dependent is going to be a cheese or three
- 19:42needles and you know that comes to fruition at the end of the
- 19:46series. But here I'm in a way to pass
- 19:51the. But where does this take us
- 19:53between the younger the Lazarus and Waiting for, what is this
- 20:00bit here? As she tries to, and then she
- 20:02goes, how's it, make you even more Cruella?
- 20:06I mean, she get that they both get some great lines.
- 20:08I mean, the best one later on from lazarus's.
- 20:10It's not just the way longer doctor.
- 20:12It's unlocked long, but what about the gross bit worried?
- 20:17Take? Stitch up to the boys reverse
- 20:20knocking this geriatric. That's a bit weird.
- 20:23I always see the chief she just thought memory, just Appeared
- 20:26only half an hour ago he was at 76 year old man.
- 20:28You know I dress it would have to say about that.
- 20:37Spanish, she says I think the rain is you know like if it's
- 20:40good enough it's definitely a Jones is fine for me the shirt.
- 20:48It's just so full of pop culture in it.
- 20:50Yeah and obviously we've got them.
- 20:53What's happening is the doctor obviously things like that.
- 20:57The DNA is changing. So something's happening to him.
- 20:59But what's happening? And what I really like about
- 21:04this episode is it isn't just a monster tail, like there is some
- 21:10character involved in there. You have that sequence of Mexico
- 21:12where he talked about the bombs falling over, London, then you
- 21:15get the sequence in the church later, you know, where he's kind
- 21:20of like regretting his life. But there's some really
- 21:22interesting character stuff. Yeah, there's some that's some
- 21:24great character but some this especially that scene at the
- 21:27Chop Suey at the end but it's like it all comes together and
- 21:29because the debate about, well, I've lived He's in the years and
- 21:33all you see is everyone dying while you're wanting to do the
- 21:36same. You know, don't do it.
- 21:40I think that just left the latest as much as you can half.
- 21:43The problem is, is that they advertise this as a monster
- 21:47show. And so that's kind people.
- 21:49All they remember this for now. I wish I were as I think there's
- 21:52a lot more going on than that. Yeah, there's your line even
- 21:55more cruel. No, my love.
- 21:57I love that from you. It's cracking.
- 22:03Apparently, a couple other little facts are gathered with
- 22:07the only deep. the day of the broadcaster disputes sold, 37 on
- 22:12anti-aging cream, which About a coincidence.
- 22:17I don't know. I really what the day after this
- 22:20came out. Yeah I'm not quite sure what
- 22:23that was about marketing is you know, like we've just seen
- 22:25somebody who tried to make himself younger and fungineer
- 22:28mods to the comes. People don't know how that's
- 22:31gonna head in and he goes use the First Transformation in.
- 22:37Thus, people were suspended for EG.
- 22:39I don't like they really rip at the CG.
- 22:42I don't think it's terrible. I think it looks really good
- 22:45there to see I watch this the other day for the first time in
- 22:47a while, and I didn't think it really is Too Tall.
- 22:49Not not like something like like this Levine and see these one
- 22:53and healings of London. But it is really, this is over a
- 22:56decade out now, of course especially yeah.
- 23:00But I mean, False all the different, the Scorpion tail and
- 23:12the way. Yes, mented, face.
- 23:14And I'm not quite sure if I'm being honest, how he manages to
- 23:17fit in the door, really wrong? But P or, you know, that's that
- 23:20doesn't bother me. And this is amazing about this
- 23:23creature of. Yes, Doctor Who.
- 23:26It's like the Incredible Hulk, which scared me as a kid, you
- 23:28know, the transformation into something.
- 23:31I think they've got the inference from that, and dr.
- 23:32Jekyll mr. Hyde, I think was the Obviously,
- 23:35the other inspiration for us. Oh my God.
- 23:37I know using the purple skin. Can you see those women over
- 23:40there? All trying to get his attention
- 23:42all back in their hair back and float.
- 23:44It for all there is Young and Luke sport.
- 23:46So let's go, let's go. If you know, is he hot?
- 23:49I'm not sure sorry. Ma case.
- 23:55Yes, sorry. Marco Whitney probably probably
- 23:58not going to - or how characters that you could just say the high
- 24:03heel shoe. All of it, I know she's a husk
- 24:09that's very Doctor. Who is this?
- 24:10Something that turns its very planet of by of evil desiccated
- 24:14husks? Yes, I'm glad she got that mean.
- 24:18It would've been great to have seen more of a bit less.
- 24:19You got our moments before she died.
- 24:23Did you see it? See the metaphor he just made
- 24:24that he goes. It was like squeezing the juice
- 24:26of an orange bubble. Yeah, if an orange.
- 24:28Yeah. Very pleasant.
- 24:30Is it? And this is a proper light rum
- 24:35for the doctorate Martha as well.
- 24:37I really like that where they actually get a chance to be
- 24:39doctor and companion, you know, and together, that's not, that's
- 24:42not an extra better split up a lot or, you know, the old
- 24:46adventure, and then come back together again.
- 24:48It's good. I didn't it in the first half of
- 24:51series three that they were separated Yes, I try and think
- 24:58they certainly that that apart quite a bit in the Dalek to
- 25:02polymers and gridlock on there. So it's quite nice to have some
- 25:10time together with her. I just feel they got great
- 25:11chemistry, the pair of them. Yes, I see him.
- 25:16That you only got the One season, I'm not quite sure
- 25:18whether that was our decision by was up to.
- 25:21I think it was a decision by the production to like will put on a
- 25:24tortured out times. They all mapped out.
- 25:28I don't make it was to do with the new that Catherine Tate was
- 25:30coming by because originally they were going to have a new
- 25:32companion. Yes, want clean cars, it wasn't
- 25:34it, the the journalist. Yeah and then of course well as
- 25:38the original conference you can do a series on.
- 25:40Well get that man. Can you think of that anyone
- 25:42who's got a better resting bitch face?
- 25:44Some final scene, Jones are calm.
- 25:47No. And I mean, obviously.
- 25:50So Via Mobile is that you wouldn't mess with her either.
- 25:54But do you measure these numbers together?
- 25:56Jackie, Tyler Francine Jones and Sylvia Nobles.
- 25:59Yeah, they'll be a formidable Force but hey I can picture them
- 26:03actually getting on and going to pop the other.
- 26:06That's one and my on top of Star Trek podcast co-host wants to do
- 26:13the fantasy convention. Mum.
- 26:15Calm where all the moms from new series come along and they're
- 26:18the only guests, that'd be cool. Okay, so that yeah I think, I
- 26:23better be great if there was absolutely mom's incorrect.
- 26:25So, you know, talk about what was your experience of doctor
- 26:28are? You don't understand my
- 26:29daughter? Was this filmed in Cardiff,
- 26:32We're in London. I think it was probably called
- 26:34if I believe this was Cardiff, but they CGI.
- 26:38Then the Cathedral at the, when he don't love you, I think my
- 26:47overall place is terrible game where he's like that's called if
- 26:49that's London that's called if that's not done from scene to
- 26:52scene, you know? Once only, and this is the first
- 26:56sort of big big scene. Well, second thoughts, I'm
- 26:59sorry. My quota.
- 27:13Yeah he's yeah. I mean he's again it's the
- 27:15doctor that is a see this film comes up all the time about love
- 27:19you more people have more than 10 years and other students when
- 27:22taste all of your life to the field other than this insane
- 27:24idea of right? I've got old now and I want to
- 27:27you wanted time to cut back because it just doesn't it's not
- 27:31going to you're not going to get out with it, what you think.
- 27:34So you are on I've lived too much and last 10 years old -
- 27:38slow down a little bit, you know, but could you imagine this
- 27:42machine was on the It's a mass Market this thing and making
- 27:44everyone young again. Oh God, everything I own and he
- 27:49goes is going to for the real. We're going to see the film
- 27:51monster. No units, done, it deliberately
- 27:53on the roof so it's all spectacle.
- 27:55Wasn't it with the London skyline behind him?
- 27:58This is the money shot myself here, he is, but might get
- 28:03suspicious. So we've got a scorpion tail is
- 28:06got like a rib cage, which is exposed.
- 28:10Yeah, weird weird. Kind of like claws.
- 28:16Sorry, I was just asking evolutionary cul-de-sac.
- 28:22I think he described as wasn't it.
- 28:24So, Tim, I think it looks all right.
- 28:27I mean, it's a see, I don't look so bad criticism about it, but I
- 28:30think it's like, that's what holds our product.
- 28:33Well, there's an incredible, special effects shot in a minute
- 28:35where it's crawling along the corridor and it goes home.
- 28:40I was completely free. 6868 owned as David Tennant, sort of
- 28:44running away from it and then it jumps over glass of the It just
- 28:46looks spectacular. Yeah, they put down the trailer
- 28:49and you know and it's clearly obvious way isn't Doctor Who
- 28:53fans just like to have a wind, you know.
- 28:57It's like Omar has got a sign screwdriver.
- 29:00Oh, yeah. Try to get everyone on.
- 29:02This is the BET here that you're going to see the no idea.
- 29:04She has they all have women. He's one of these, you know, one
- 29:09off characters as like, a couple of lines and dots through that.
- 29:12You think what happened to him? Well, other loop can find out
- 29:15what happened to her. As I was great, go on she well,
- 29:18she's not really done any acting sense and she was n casually in
- 29:23Spooks the office, the bill, but On IMDb.
- 29:28This was our last act excited so I wonder what she's up to now.
- 29:32Well, did you say a performance in this?
- 29:33I'm not surprised. Well, I mean, who else in
- 29:39Doctor? Who has steel ever be called All
- 29:40of women in the credits. We Salute You, she's about to be
- 29:47sucked dry. David honestly, there you go.
- 29:50This year's wasn't all that, she's gone.
- 29:53So cam, by the way, this killer That was definitely the way to
- 29:58do it because if they needed to gruesome or something, don't you
- 30:01there's a space 1999 episode with a great evil monster on a
- 30:05spaceship, right? And he sucks everyone in and
- 30:08then he just spits out the skeleton.
- 30:10It's amazing. I'll tell you not the way to
- 30:15mount the the jawline opens up. That's definitely, that's the
- 30:20other. The other thing this monster CGI
- 30:22remains, we office is doing computer game.
- 30:25I mean the more modern more not the one in the 1990s but those
- 30:28are I'm sure there's a monster lairs bike.
- 30:30And here we go here. We can look at this.
- 30:33Let's just enjoy the 360 and the camera goes round.
- 30:36Yeah, sign is is directed pretty well, yes it is.
- 30:40I agree some really nice shots like that in it.
- 30:44I was just full of pretty people and it's lit.
- 30:46Well, and it's just like, most Rusty Davis episodes.
- 30:50It is a feast on the eyes. I think.
- 30:53Yes, Leo's been knocked out the as I got the call, this, the
- 30:59magic sponge on the head, I think top of the pops is
- 31:02calling, you know, he needs to go and present it.
- 31:07No please forgive anything more. Talk to who then climbing around
- 31:10some old pipes whilst the monsters pursuing you have been
- 31:14this. Yeah no.
- 31:16Yeah I mean there's so many things like that.
- 31:18We can we detect the beginning where I think that's one reason
- 31:21I think is because so many sort of when people think talk to the
- 31:24fairgrounds and corridors they think about you know monsters
- 31:27and let's just go. All the ingredients are there
- 31:29sighs? Yeah oil and this is the is a
- 31:32voice modulator here. But it says something like a
- 31:35man. Yeah.
- 31:36You Stand in the way of progress with that panel are just saw
- 31:42that looks a bit like all the switches that he was David
- 31:44Tennant would go on to flicking Utopia, you know.
- 31:46I don't think they're above boring Nations again and again,
- 31:49probably the same panel. Let's be honest.
- 31:52Oh, look at this monster trying to get out the door, they remind
- 31:55me of the bunch. That was screaming in the Smith
- 31:57and Jones remembering that in the hospital.
- 31:59Oh yeah. Well, if you look at all the
- 32:02extras, there's a good exercise and there's other.
- 32:04It's just what you think. Hmm.
- 32:05Okay. Did you see Martha Jones?
- 32:08Slide over that desk? Then to get where she lives?
- 32:10I mean, she's a pistol me of called.
- 32:12I think she's amazing. She's beautiful.
- 32:16She's beautiful on the atg in the ATR or something.
- 32:29Thinking, our girl is an apple. Mm.
- 32:30I don't take that out and they get fed.
- 32:32But like, yeah, let's let's be honest like nowadays.
- 32:37CGI is more sophisticated. It would look better than this.
- 32:41Oh yeah, yeah. But I feel like it would only
- 32:45marginally improve the episode, you know.
- 32:48I think. What's the joy?
- 32:49The episode is the adventure of the wrong, the characters, the
- 32:52pace, the fun of it, you know? None of that would change.
- 32:55Yeah. It's it's like any doctor who
- 32:58will like some of the effects. You look at it like sea.
- 33:01Just off the top my head, like the more the working,
- 33:03Enlightenment Stone. Works great.
- 33:06No. And you know I'm going to jump
- 33:10in as I forgot. CJ the monster stole excludes
- 33:12but okay well we'll go, let's put it to the vote, I'll put it
- 33:17out on a trip. All right this feature in the
- 33:19Lazarus experiment, yay, or nay. Oh my God.
- 33:24We used to do this with Bunsen burners in the school.
- 33:27Thank God that there's well, yes, that they're all going.
- 33:33I mean like at this point it is a lot of running around but when
- 33:37I stopped who ever shied away from running around a lot
- 33:41exactly. And This is a bit coming up.
- 33:46We are David Tennant on the stunt, which probably be on with
- 33:49the Fireball from the outside is really?
- 33:53Yeah, that was that was him. That was nearly a stuntman.
- 33:57He done that himself willing to do.
- 33:59Look look at this. Now as he goes over that balcony
- 34:04in a minute and smashes, the glass iPhone.
- 34:06This is her brilliant effect because it must be CGI.
- 34:09The smash yeah look, oh yeah. It's a bit like you remember the
- 34:15krillitane in school reunions when they were climbing all over
- 34:18the walls? They do that sort of thing, I
- 34:20really well. Yeah, it's Tim.
- 34:23It's on that level from you that I think it and just things like
- 34:29the smash through the glass that just makes it, you know.
- 34:33Oh, and Francine's are getting told that the doctors not quite
- 34:40probably suitable for your daughter chat.
- 34:42Why? I think this is one of the more
- 34:44subtly and better than Alex, you know, of the yeah series free.
- 34:49I think it was. Don't you love the way that the
- 34:51whole season from Martha's point of view, takes place in a week
- 34:55from Smith and Jones to. That's right.
- 34:59Is this just a little thing? I think it I think the first
- 35:01semester sucks was an actual talk to you, the think that's
- 35:04just fading and that's far better for me than, you know,
- 35:11talking endlessly about comes last episode and that's all, I
- 35:16love that stuff. And I love the whole plus 42 is
- 35:18brings that back just to sort of sort of dread feet away without
- 35:22labor in the point because I felt a draft on this solo and I
- 35:25will cause I feel like Muffy over promises and under
- 35:28delivers. Whereas I think, Rusty Davis,
- 35:30just make subtle hints and then surprises you at the end.
- 35:34Ivory You can bring a bit of that back to the shop again.
- 35:42Yeah, okay, I'm sorry. This must be deliberately like
- 35:46he is literally a her knees right now.
- 35:49Almost, under her skirt, playing about the Sonic Screwdriver now
- 35:52are. No, I can read these things into
- 35:54website but there's a bit of stuff going on here, right?
- 35:58You'd mind you. But yes, let's just press the
- 36:06big red button. So what's supposed to happen is
- 36:12supposed to make a mold or make him young know it seemed.
- 36:16Well, that's a good point. Actually, I think we've been
- 36:19together what would happen actually because he's press the
- 36:21button and is it, is it t DH dumb or the doctor reverses the
- 36:27polarity and the energy goes out and all it seems to do is not
- 36:32make them young at all. They're just a bunch of them,
- 36:36let me see it, you know what? This set, this isn't just
- 36:40setting up Saxon and Martha's family.
- 36:45There's the that screwdriver isn't there in the sound of
- 36:47drums, which comes from Lazarus. Experiment, Lazarus technology.
- 36:51Yeah, yeah. Look at.
- 36:53This is doing a lot more in this thing.
- 36:54This is probably the most vital episode after Smith and Jones in
- 36:58the season. Yeah, it was I think it was
- 37:01episode 6 Resort be halfway through the season.
- 37:07It was good that in the last finale, it was even says, you
- 37:10know, member Professor Lazarus in his genetic manipulation
- 37:14device, you know, and they send a screwdriver, I refused to
- 37:18comment on Markakis has pale as milk.
- 37:21Yeah. So here you know it's like it's
- 37:26like the last act coming up because like if you're done yeah
- 37:33yeah I mean is it seems like Lazarus is, you know, he's back
- 37:37to being human maybe there is I'll here we go.
- 37:42Here we go. Francine, Yep.
- 37:45This slap Bang. That is every level Milan that
- 37:50look more violent, the jockeys for me, will ya?
- 37:53Look at her face honestly she's terrible voice is absolutely
- 37:56Furious and she's done everything but not get her claws
- 37:59out, you know? She does not like them at all.
- 38:04I love that bit, you know, that big in the sound of drums where
- 38:07she's saying Omar for come to the house.
- 38:09Me and your dad have made up, that whole sequence is just so
- 38:12good. But again, Russell so great at
- 38:16creating families are just so relatable.
- 38:19I mean that's very common, you know, the case that you know the
- 38:23case has been closed off for younger women and the follow it
- 38:27and all the rest, you know, What happened?
- 38:32It does have the skeletons of the ambulance men.
- 38:38So yeah, so never act in the church and they have the big
- 38:47standoff about what it means to be human and living forever in
- 38:54the pitfalls of that. And why actually, surprisingly
- 38:58for the new series, I actually think the last Act Is the best
- 39:01part of this episode. I think this whole sequence in
- 39:03the church is really well shot. Yeah, it would be a lot of
- 39:07people on the phone, that's for sure.
- 39:09And I got to say you like, I haven't talked about Mario's
- 39:12music for ages, but I one thing I really noticed in this episode
- 39:15was how Bloody good is scores in this?
- 39:19Yeah, it was a lot of, a lot of a monstrous verminous, which is
- 39:23a lovely female create four obstacles and families in.
- 39:27It's it's, it's played quite a lot in the 70s.
- 39:30We just have so much fun in a minute because he gets to be as
- 39:33mad organ school as Lazarus toys.
- 39:38Who is he going every chest? Yeah, I was just going to say
- 39:41the same thing. That is kind of a, you could
- 39:45have had a little wax before you came on this, you know, was
- 39:49acquitted of. Yeah, you'll be at the stadium,
- 39:52you know what, Kitty chest and I'm like, we do so talking about
- 40:01the plates and and teasing that, you know, like evil through the
- 40:04bullets and And it also similar was there too.
- 40:10And The Proposal just so good here.
- 40:18Yeah. He's obviously talking about his
- 40:24childhood and that was his inspiration for wanted cheat
- 40:31death. So while this is hoping cam
- 40:34monster story, he's got a motive and it's his character, you
- 40:37know. Yeah, they love it when he says
- 40:42to the doctor. Oh yeah, I saw the blitz you're
- 40:45too young, okay, so you yeah, yeah, yeah, I think David
- 40:51Tennant, does this righteous Fury really, really well.
- 40:55I know some of the students working them, like, Elliott only
- 40:58because the most essential of joke, was just a footnote in the
- 41:02UK failure. Or company says is, it's just
- 41:06this button heads about, you know, What you want and to
- 41:11achieve, don't do it because I've done it and it's not there.
- 41:16You know the happiness that you thinks gonna happen.
- 41:19You're just going to have everyone died and you're doing
- 41:22to keep working the most important, you know?
- 41:24But you know what else? I think really the scores on.
- 41:27It's this like not the CGI obviously they're just have a
- 41:30guy running around and Shaggy costume was like, but you could
- 41:33do this in the Classic Series in a church in a scientific
- 41:36Institute, you know, lots of running around.
- 41:38This could be a classic dog. True story.
- 41:40I think going back to when you say their little bit like this
- 41:42could easily be apparently. I mean you can imagine
- 41:44apparently having these like a moment what city always had
- 41:47moments of charm. Yeah.
- 41:50And this would be one of them having the standoff with the
- 41:52villain. At the end of comfort.
- 41:54Wasn't them who really runs this planet of yours?
- 41:56You know you could imagine warrant Lazarus per weight and I
- 42:01could see him at the at the at the organ.
- 42:08Yes I can do. Are you okay?
- 42:14Get out of here? Yeah.
- 42:22And that's the whole point is if it's will this be love your life
- 42:26to the field because You've only got one that's the which it's a
- 42:31few measures. I know of keep banging on about
- 42:34it all day here in this country but it's something that comes up
- 42:37in Brussels even going back to the beginning.
- 42:40Yeah, for the first step to the 9th doctor, you know this Live
- 42:45life to the fullest. It's the same thing over and
- 42:48over and over. Basically, it's a good lesson.
- 42:53Yeah. To bang on the bow bow because I
- 42:56don't think all of us do. Yeah.
- 42:58No. No.
- 42:59And Don't get me wrong. I like to kind of all be as
- 43:03excited as running away from CGI monsters in a church.
- 43:07I don't think anyone's leaves probably succeed in his art to
- 43:10be feeling better. It's but now he's changing again
- 43:15and I mean, if I mean you could argue you know as a doctor sort
- 43:21of putting hot on the quite a bit, a danger, you know, like
- 43:24knowing that she's gonna have to go out there and there's a big
- 43:27monster Foreigner but it's like so.
- 43:30But I think to the doctor very often because his companions, an
- 43:33awful lot of danger in the new series, you know, and to be
- 43:35honest, she saw audience to get you that by seeing what she said
- 43:39and getting up to four. So it's not.
- 43:42So this was a horrible scene. The out tastes awesome.
- 43:47Documentary footage of this. And this was a very cold church
- 43:51at night where they were all bloody freezing.
- 43:53Well, I'll tell you what. I mean, you can't tell it looks
- 43:56great. No, not at all.
- 44:00I hope you like me one thing. Doing the, um, drum thing myself
- 44:06from time to time. The one thing that it must be
- 44:08great been, if you were a doctor who is that?
- 44:10You get to do all these things that you would need to do in any
- 44:12other roles. For example, you get to clear an
- 44:14organ. This episode David.
- 44:16Yeah, where the hell? What are the roller messy with a
- 44:18big car? With the coveted?
- 44:20You know, do something like that.
- 44:23I think are the biggest fan since you know where you can
- 44:25plan an organ. Yeah but Judas is very new
- 44:29series. Now they love going up high.
- 44:31Don't pay for the climbers. Been give dollars in Manhattan.
- 44:35Think of the idiots Lantern. Think of vampires of Venice.
- 44:39I love that. They always feel like like yank
- 44:42it comes off quick button. It comes up quite a bit and much
- 44:45more settled quite a few times in its label.
- 44:49Fresh drawings. People is a pronoun.
- 44:52Yeah. As a Coleman it's almost like
- 44:55what can we do to get excited? Tell will create another hi
- 45:00Thing to claim of, but it's always good.
- 45:02It never fails to tell you what works here.
- 45:05I think really, really well. Is this how God great big can be
- 45:08monster? Yeah, he's gone to his death.
- 45:10And then it you cut to the shop looking down and it's Lazarus as
- 45:14a human dead on the floor and that yes, impacts that.
- 45:18Yeah, that's something we can all there is.
- 45:22So is yeah, boom, hit the floor. I'll be curious how I told that
- 45:28I have tall is our, do you think I thought of a cathedral he said
- 45:33why he was lying there. There was this, a religious
- 45:35iconography there. I swear there was, I'm sure they
- 45:40asked them to certainly be in a certain position.
- 45:45All I know is this beautiful from that higher there.
- 45:47Be a bit of blood but we're for a family audience so we can't go
- 45:50there. Yeah, it's a thing.
- 45:52The Doctor Who certainly the modern stuff that they don't
- 45:54shoot what. This is the only woman I know,
- 46:03but she gets like the best rowing sound of drums as well.
- 46:05Th I think well, teach ya. I love in the master says that
- 46:12just you just stand there and look, gorgeous eyes.
- 46:16Hardware, nicely is nice to sleep but is very good.
- 46:21You're always brilliant. Much on the right and I think
- 46:24he's just yeah, it's is high as a kite but it's just Did you
- 46:33think that that transition take taking a so you're good but I
- 46:39cheat, you know what? I'm going to thank you back
- 46:41often. Oh look at this big hug that.
- 46:43Nice God. Does it make so Jo doesn't lie
- 46:46about being deaf through Yeah, I must be honest at the nickel.
- 46:51I think the first thing I saw that and then I thought I
- 46:54remember watching that the second time in forever, I must
- 46:56start drawing. I vote Yes on this and say, I
- 47:00love that. It goes.
- 47:02It's obviously it marks the episode and they started said
- 47:07the same thing. But she says he had been
- 47:09slightly. You know.
- 47:10No, I'm not having this you'd say anything.
- 47:12We could give it. Sorry.
- 47:13No. If he became you know you're
- 47:15giving me one trap. And then you saying, well maybe
- 47:17have you back for another one? No, I'm not happy.
- 47:19Unless I'm gonna do a Solaris. Is when she goes.
- 47:23Well, fine. Well, you better go then.
- 47:29But she's absolutely right. Yeah as if your it's been
- 47:31treating are you know, He literally is, right?
- 47:35They just hate that Frosty Davis companions.
- 47:37They just behave, like, people like me jealous and spiteful,
- 47:42they can be annoyed. They can be bitchy, you know,
- 47:45they just behave like real people.
- 47:47Yeah, was nice as well as you saw the doctors look, they're
- 47:50kinda like yes. She's telling me off and she's
- 47:52right. I've been treating you badly and
- 47:55so yeah, you can come Is so fabulous.
- 47:59Mostly one that was shot here and two if I had hair I would
- 48:04like it like that. Because yeah, it just, I mean
- 48:07that is a lot there. Over there.
- 48:13We get the phone call that way. Martha.
- 48:15It's your mother. It's your mother seeing, you
- 48:18know, like which plants the seeds for leader on.
- 48:22Let's hear what she calls a bloody weird stuff in her
- 48:25apartment and she say, that weird golf ball in that lamp.
- 48:28What about I did? Because they are roles of a
- 48:32crystal was built. She's obviously one of those
- 48:35people. That buys very quirky things,
- 48:37you know. Yeah, oh my word, hang on a
- 48:41second. I was next 42.
- 48:45Next is 42 year, you know, I think that's around the road as
- 48:49well, you know. I could eat, but I don't think
- 48:53it should be below. Gloves experiment, in that pool
- 48:56into 2014. I'll see, this is the this is
- 48:59this period of this season where it's like the dollar to be part
- 49:01of this and 42 that people saw a condemned and then they go back
- 49:04on board with human nature, blink.
- 49:07Yeah. I mean the end of the season is
- 49:09extremely strong. Arthur.
- 49:10This is my this is personal favorite new series season.
- 49:14Really know your favorite after fairness to the series for It's
- 49:21my second favorite, so I'm absolutely see why that is.
- 49:24I mean, as a seat owners, fantastic, that they the running
- 49:27series for is obviously brilliant, but I just think that
- 49:30last the second half is using feed out running from Human
- 49:34Nature to the end and thinkers stack.
- 49:37So we'll tip, you know, I think is sad is obviously this is the
- 49:41episode where they decide that, you know, Martha's the
- 49:44communities in the Tardis full-time.
- 49:47There's UK or whatever, then we get fully to Which is like where
- 49:52it's doctoring companion, but then in human nature, he's
- 49:55human. And so they kind of separated a
- 49:57bit in blink. They barely feature and they
- 50:00were into the finale. So this is like she has like one
- 50:02episode to be the full-time companion, you know.
- 50:06Yeah. It's a shame that that run walk
- 50:10into that. She's I mean, I think that
- 50:13probably human nature family of what does the best?
- 50:15It smartly. I think it's I think it's the
- 50:17best. You series story actually it's
- 50:19just a piece of drama. And obviously it's not that you
- 50:23could say stuff about the doctrine it, but I just think
- 50:26it's as a piece of drama, not just a doctor who just as a
- 50:29piece of drama in case. It's bizarre things, sometimes.
- 50:35When the doctors are asked to play characters that aren't the
- 50:37doctor, they give their best performance in whose okay, but
- 50:42okay. Right.
- 50:43So we've reached the end of the Lazarus experiment.
- 50:46Yes, very. Very funny episode to watch.
- 50:49Now, can you hit me with three staggering reasons as to why
- 50:54somebody should come watch this right now?
- 50:57First, one might guess, I just spent keister all up.
- 51:01He saw when I went for my first. Amy please.
- 51:04It really well and it's not the truth.
- 51:06He's got the Doctor Who volunteering of arching has
- 51:08lines somewhat, which happens all the time.
- 51:13So yeah, she might get us the first one.
- 51:17The second one I think, if you like him.
- 51:22It's my for joins. I think this is one of the best
- 51:25episodes. As with disgust she gets off
- 51:28work to do and we meet a family. And it's just a bit, a good
- 51:33showcase, but also gets the officer duel is real fun.
- 51:37One. I was going to be joking and see
- 51:39all the remember one see that and you can if you want I think
- 51:46it's real directed. I can't remember who did
- 51:48director was a 24 Mile. Was it Richard?
- 51:55Because Mark which is another one that was built addicted,
- 52:03bloody not how it it griddle song is for the right, there's a
- 52:07lot of good shots, not that short with it, the GD.
- 52:10There's I think this shows the shorts, well, the monster to
- 52:13Israel in to put on the roof as you say, it was Genius thing to
- 52:17do because you have no, you can see it, not scalding, there's
- 52:20nothing about during subsequent where you can see the scale of
- 52:23it as well. Conn-young?
- 52:24Yes, the skyline can I had free more course sheikah.
- 52:28Let's have sex. All right, so I'm going to say
- 52:30the script which I think is really underrated.
- 52:34I think it's, it's not aiming for the hills.
- 52:38It wants to be like a good trade Doctor Who Adventure, but it is
- 52:42a good tread dr. Venture, and it's got some
- 52:44poetry in there. It's got some great characters.
- 52:46Work. It's got some Mark stuff going
- 52:48on in there and it's got some really fun lines as well.
- 52:51It gives it and it gives the dr. Marcus lots of fun stuff to do.
- 52:55So I think the script is a lot better than people say it is
- 52:57certainly better than other doctors do.
- 52:59Well, I don't know what happened next year.
- 53:01Yeah, yeah, I'm not quite sure what happened with second
- 53:04effort, to be honest, a bit more gold score, which I think is
- 53:08phenomenally good in this. What this is where he is, at his
- 53:11Peak where the show been going for a couple of years.
- 53:13I think series free soundtrack is Terrifically, good.
- 53:18And my third is going to be, of course, Velma Barlow.
- 53:23Has it made you even more Krill? She's great.
- 53:29She's marvelous. Yes, yes.
- 53:30Very good. That's a good sort of thing
- 53:33into. I just wanted to kind of see the
- 53:36two In fact, on the Twitter said, tell the audience, push
- 53:43your first and last experiment, and I hope I got to replace its
- 53:46go from. The first one was from Jack
- 53:49coils which of course, is a recently new to the come from a
- 53:52farmer. He was great and he said, so go
- 53:57to Jack and he said it highlighted the trend of
- 54:00characters in series three being impacted by evil, which one / at
- 54:04that Titian and we changing our DNA and Smith and Jones.
- 54:07Evolution of the Daleks the macron gridlock.
- 54:10The Angels been defeated by a flaw in their biology ends with
- 54:13two time. Most common human archived.
- 54:16I'll be honest. I never know.
- 54:17Know me what's that for such but he's absolutely right.
- 54:21Gotta tell ya, he's a clever chap Blackjack once I leave now.
- 54:24Oh yeah. Yeah listen is commented
- 54:26recently and yeah, do you hear him talking about?
- 54:29I didn't the roundels. Oh yes, it's myself Antonio
- 54:33honestly and the other one wizard which plane the freezer
- 54:36greatly I thought you'd have something to say go up and he
- 54:43said it's an episode easy to overlook.
- 54:45That is a lot going for that Martha.
- 54:47Jones is easily, Russell T Davies best companion.
- 54:50And she shows why here pushing back the doctors at the end in a
- 54:53way that would be fully paid off in the finale.
- 54:56Great to see your interactions with a family to Market is, does
- 54:59a good job with what he's done? But film about who steals the
- 55:01show with the lights of similar for the finale and feature was
- 55:05very reminiscent of Venom and Spider-Man with a dash of Batman
- 55:09throne and which adds a lot of comic book to the ground and I'm
- 55:12Michael incisions are Dreadful. I think Daniel Inouye me.
- 55:16Right Grand Canyon Queenie. Oh yeah, yeah, feel of the piece
- 55:20a solid entry in the tenants based season.
- 55:24And I've just noticed that some of the called sheeny also
- 55:29replied and how the traitors one Warren Beatty is looking good
- 55:33for his age, but it's Deeper decline as well.
- 55:39So you are, you just put me in a very awkward position of having
- 55:42to agree with Fraser Gregory. Damn it.
- 55:45I think he's right on this one job.
- 55:47I think he's right. He's right more often than I be,
- 55:50if I'm honest. Well, uh, that was a delight.
- 55:54We haven't determined where we're going to go next.
- 55:56Have, we nor we talked to a couple of stories last time, but
- 56:01if I was allowed to come back here, come on.
- 56:04Tell me. I was going to put all the All
- 56:07these stories we discussed one side and ask you a question.
- 56:09I'll see which error do you think has been underrepresented
- 56:13on the Oh by far trowel by far really?
- 56:18Yeah that would be that's what you're going to see myself
- 56:20actually. Be really cool.
- 56:38And let's do all that stuff even though you don't like them, hit
- 56:42me. Um.
- 56:46One that popped in my head, it's I think it'd be good.
- 56:50Be interesting discussion because I know is, when you
- 56:52don't like great as the rebel force, your most people called,
- 56:59oh, I mean, It's gotta be down some point and it might be with
- 57:02someone delightful. Do you like that one?
- 57:07And I don't mind it. I think I think it'd be one that
- 57:09this would be interested in talk about.
- 57:11Think there's a lot of talk about that one.
- 57:13Obviously, you caught more bloody controversial me, you do
- 57:17I get same? Thank God.
- 57:19I've said, I guess it's a good mix of water to sink one.
- 57:22For ones are a bit. Sorry, go under the radar, but
- 57:24as opposed to, like a fan favorite, you know, what?
- 57:27Are you actually? Murders?
- 57:28His companion. Again, that story.
- 57:31I mean, it's unfair be luck with that.
- 57:34Honest to God. Okay, well, season it Her into a
- 57:37whole load of bloody come. I mean, is, I mean, instant
- 57:41scene. Okay.
- 57:44Other sounds like an amazing conversation tab.
- 57:48I got good at chasing one. All right.
- 57:50Well then let's just say until next time Till then.
