- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here and you're about to listen to a Rumi
- 0:43inspired hypnosis session to really feel that you have
- 0:47permission to be a priority in your life.
- 0:51But when you answer the question who matters most, it's
- 0:54completely fine to say that you do.
- 0:57Now, Rumi is an ancient philosophical voice, very
- 1:01popular in the world of spirituality and poetry and self
- 1:06development because they have so much wisdom in their words.
- 1:09And I would encourage you to check out anything by Rumi.
- 1:13If you go on Google images, you can see lots of quotes.
- 1:16If you go on YouTube, you're going to see again lots of
- 1:19snippets and clopes about how they words are still very
- 1:23resonant and relevant today, hundreds of years after they've
- 1:27been around. So check that out.
- 1:29This takes some of Rumi's teachings and principles,
- 1:32infuses it into a hypnosis session designed to empower an
- 1:37individual to feel worthy, to feel that they're making the
- 1:43right kind of progress in the areas that they wanted to, and
- 1:46to feel that they have permission to live life on their
- 1:49terms, not under the shadow of anyone else.
- 1:52They get to live life on their terms.
- 1:54So if any of these ideas resonate with you, I think
- 1:56you'll get some value from this. It's very metaphorical, very
- 2:00broad. It's not so specific.
- 2:02The. One thing that might be specific
- 2:04to the client, that might not be quite relevant for you is that
- 2:07they had a particular relationship with pain that they
- 2:09were changing through pain medication.
- 2:11That might not be relevant. But lots of things are just very
- 2:13broad, very empowering, essentially to make you feel
- 2:18empowered and worthy to live life on your terms and pursue
- 2:21whatever your dreams are. So if that connects, then get a
- 2:25nice, quiet, comfortable place, the kind of place where no one's
- 2:29going to distract you. Relax and enjoy this session.
- 2:43Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 2:56slow, long, relaxing breath, and as you exhale, feel a wonderful
- 3:05feeling of release, as if anything that needs to be
- 3:11released is being released. Every outward breath exhales
- 3:21what you don't need. And as you breathe in, imagine
- 3:28breathing in a feeling of wonderful relaxation and
- 3:34resourcefulness, enabling you to feel deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 3:47Allow your brain to take you to that place, the place you've
- 3:52been to many times, where words seem to have a harmony with
- 4:03neural pathways, so that words cast spells to create changes,
- 4:12wonderful changes that enhance, evolve and amplify.
- 4:20And as you breathe in, you may notice that the deeper you
- 4:25breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 4:30And the more relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe.
- 4:35And I wonder if you can harness all of that power in your
- 4:41imagination to imagine what it would be like, perhaps in the
- 4:48not too distant future, on a spring or early summer's day, to
- 4:58be leaving a cabin in the mountains under blue skies and
- 5:03sunshine, pure fresh air. And just imagine what it would
- 5:11feel like to be walking with a dog on a mountainside.
- 5:20Get a sense of the sunshine on your skin, the freshness, the
- 5:25coolness of the air. Get a sense of the sheer scale
- 5:34of your surroundings. You can see for miles,
- 5:40landscape, valleys, nature, and maybe the sound of birds or
- 5:49insects or something else around you.
- 5:54And as you walk, find that rhythm.
- 5:57And with that rhythm, allow your breathing to synchronize with
- 6:04that rhythm. Slow, deliberate, evermore
- 6:11relaxing. That's it.
- 6:16And you know from previous experience that it's possible to
- 6:21Daydream while you walk in nature, that your mind does the
- 6:26thinking for you. So as you breathe in and out
- 6:31there by the mountains, allow your body to really connect
- 6:39without feeling of calm relaxation.
- 6:44And in this moment, give yourself permission to rest
- 6:50inside that place of calm tranquility.
- 7:01As you breathe in, notice the simple miracle of air and oxygen
- 7:11arriving without effort. And as you breathe out, feel the
- 7:18gentle release of any pressure expectation, any echoes of pain
- 7:25or strain. And that mind of yours, the one
- 7:32that's been working so hard, processing pain, adjusting
- 7:39chemistry, those overthinking that can happen at night time, I
- 7:50want you to feel that it's doing its absolute best under changing
- 7:56or challenging conditions. Your brain hasn't failed.
- 8:02It's learning, adapting, and that adaptation takes energy.
- 8:13But for now, they're on the mountains.
- 8:16Give permission for that mind, the controlling or overthinking
- 8:22mind, to take a step back or to loosen its grip, like hands that
- 8:30have been clenched for too long, slowly remembering how to open
- 8:37again and just imagine. With every breath out, the
- 8:47feeling of a fried brain becomes more and more calibrated,
- 8:55settled and aligned. Not switched off, but just
- 9:03cooled. Clarified and gently
- 9:08recalibrated. And I wonder if you could
- 9:14imagine discovering a quiet, open space there on that
- 9:19mountainside. And that open space is not a
- 9:24place of answers, but a place of questions.
- 9:32And you deep down already know that the right question can
- 9:38change everything. And I want you to imagine almost
- 9:47like it's written into the air, as if carried by the light
- 9:52itself is 1 profound question. Imagine it written there in the
- 10:01air. Who matters most?
- 10:09And you don't need to rush to answer it.
- 10:13Just sit without question. Who matters most?
- 10:21Who matters most when energy is limited?
- 10:26Who matters most when sleep feels like it's fragmented?
- 10:33Who matters most when challenging situations or change
- 10:37is on the horizon? And who matters most when the
- 10:44entire nervous system or sense of identity is finding a new
- 10:49rhythm, a new pattern, a new thread or theme?
- 10:56Who matters most when your body is healing and relearning
- 11:03safety? And as that question gently
- 11:08turns within you, something deep and calm responds.
- 11:16And maybe it's simply 2 words. I do.
- 11:23Who matters most? I do.
- 11:26Not in an arrogant way, and not in a defensive way, but in a
- 11:35really true, authentic, genuine way.
- 11:41You matter most and I want you to feel that as truth.
- 11:51That is landing. And when it does, you may feel a
- 11:57subtle shift, like a throne quietly reclaiming its rightful
- 12:04occupant. Because when you fully accept
- 12:11that you matter most, it unlocks a whole new level of identity.
- 12:20An identity where you are the one in charge, with full
- 12:26autonomy, full agency. No more arguing your case and no
- 12:37more justifying your needs. Meeting your needs is no longer
- 12:46negotiable. It's foundational.
- 12:53And they're in that open space on the mountain.
- 12:57I want you to imagine meeting Rumi.
- 13:04And maybe it's the very energy of Rumi, the essence of Rumi,
- 13:12perhaps even a representation of everything they are and stand
- 13:22for. And I want you to imagine that
- 13:29somehow you are tuning into their frequency, a way of being
- 13:36that blends depth with lightness, wisdom with warmth,
- 13:44stillness with joy. Just like tuning into a radio
- 13:52station and an old radio. Imagine tuning into the
- 13:57frequency of Rumi, not his words but his way, and knowing that
- 14:07life is vast, mysterious and yet playful, a trust that the soul
- 14:17already understands the way forward.
- 14:22And as you tune into this frequency, maybe you notice your
- 14:28posture subtly changing, your breathing becoming more
- 14:35spacious, your presence becoming warmer.
- 14:44And there is charisma here, not the loud kind, the natural quiet
- 14:53kind that draws people in without trying.
- 14:58Some people call it a magnetic personality.
- 15:05And there is Wisdom here, not forced, not performative, but
- 15:11lived Wisdom and connect without Charisma and Wisdom because your
- 15:22Charisma and Wisdom whenever missing or never suppressed.
- 15:28What if they were always there, but simply under appreciated,
- 15:34especially by you? And what if now you get to
- 15:38reclaim them as your rightful belongings and as you claim them
- 15:48as yours, you embody that frequency?
- 15:54Like somehow you and Rumi are now connected, existing on the
- 15:58same frequency, albeit at different places in space and
- 16:04time. But in the 4th dimension, that
- 16:08doesn't matter. Imagine yourself as kindred
- 16:13spirits in that 4th dimensional plane, and as your body
- 16:20continues to relax, notice a growing sense of safety not
- 16:29outside you, but within you. And you can feel secure in your
- 16:37own company, at home, in yourself, yourself.
- 16:44Trust doesn't need evidence anymore.
- 16:49It doesn't need reassurance. Your self trust simply is.
- 16:59Your intuition is trusted, your choices are trusted, your
- 17:07unconscious is trusted and there is no internal cross
- 17:14examination, no second guessing tribunal.
- 17:21You are unapologetic and at the same time simple, honest and
- 17:29true. With no need to push and no need
- 17:36to retreat. You simply stand.
- 17:41And from this place, even challenges feel different.
- 17:49And when life throws something your way, you take it on the
- 17:54chin and keep moving forward with enthusiasm, with curiosity,
- 18:06with the golden retriever, energy resilient, optimistic,
- 18:13engaged with life again. And as you harness this wisdom,
- 18:20this charisma, this frequency unleashing, this self trust,
- 18:26notice your energy returning, not all at once, but in a
- 18:36sustainable, intelligent way. The kind of energy that respects
- 18:44healing, the kind that grows, is trust grows.
- 18:53Your sleep begins to reorganize itself naturally, not perfectly
- 18:59and not rigidly, but rhythmically.
- 19:05Your nervous system learns that it's safe to sleep longer, that
- 19:12you're safe to rest deeply, that it's safe to repair.
- 19:20And you don't need to make this happen.
- 19:24Your unconscious will do it for you.
- 19:28Your unconscious knows how to heal, to recalibrate, to refine,
- 19:34to adapt, to adjust. And just imagine there on the
- 19:43side of that mountain, in that open space, I want you to see a
- 19:49present gift wrapped. Imagine feeling like a small
- 19:56child opening a present on Christmas or a birthday.
- 20:01And when you open it, you realize that it's not something
- 20:07tangible and it's not something like.
- 20:12Productivity or approval, not endurance or even discipline.
- 20:20The most precious gift is simply being alive.
- 20:29When you're alive, you do have autonomy.
- 20:33You do have agency. You can make choices, decisions,
- 20:38learn new things and do new things.
- 20:44And with that golden retriever childlike energy, connect to a
- 20:49feeling that you intend to make the most of that most precious
- 20:53gift, that miracle of life, and get a sense of a vision of your
- 21:03future. Maybe a future where you're
- 21:07living somewhere new, maybe months from now, maybe years
- 21:12from now. But see yourself living as
- 21:15someone who knows who matters most.
- 21:20Notice how you move through your days, the clarity in your
- 21:25decisions, the ease in your boundaries, and you prioritize
- 21:34yourself without guilt and you replenish without apology, and
- 21:43you see all of that joy and fun and connection returning in
- 21:49small, ordinary moments, and that joy feels valuable,
- 21:56precious, profound. Observe that future version of
- 22:01you where you trust yourself completely, not by attempting to
- 22:08trust yourself. That is the default state.
- 22:13Self trust is just how you are, and as you observe this future
- 22:21version of you, take a moment to let that identity settle in.
- 22:30This is not something you become someday, it's something that you
- 22:36are evolving into now. It's a privilege of a lifetime
- 22:44to be your full, authentic self and remind yourself that you're
- 22:53doing great. You really are.
- 22:59And just imagine returning to a cabin and seeing a bed and
- 23:06imagine putting your head on a pillow, putting the covers over
- 23:10your body. And very soon I will count from
- 23:151:00 to 10:00 if your unconscious would like you to
- 23:19awake. When I count from 1:00 to 10:00
- 23:22you will awake. But if your unconscious would
- 23:27like you to drift into a. Deep.
- 23:29Rejuvenating sleep. Then as I count from 1:00 to
- 23:3310:00, the numbers will drift you deeper into that sleep state
- 23:40where your unconscious and your intuition will do any work, any
- 23:45changes, any refinements that are necessary to take your life
- 23:51in exactly the right direction, to amplify that identity.
- 24:01An identity where you live your life on your terms and nobody
- 24:06else's. Your unconscious knows whether
- 24:13it's time to awake or drift into that deep sleep.
- 24:19So let's start to count 123, 456, 78, 9 and 10.
- 24:59Thank you so much for joining me on.
