- 2:27SPEAKER_02: You did your homework for sure.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: He went all the way back to the south.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, bro.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:31SPEAKER_02: Back to the south.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: I think that that YouTube video, I uh I named that YouTube video I did after a party with my up.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, bro.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: But no, that hey, that that's crazy that was crazy.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I remember that.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: I I appreciate you having me for sure.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I did, bro.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I'm lost for words.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: That's you, bro.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's all the way.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: I think I think you did leave off the like besides all the partying stuff.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: That's good.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: That's good too, D.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Besides all the partying and stuff.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Like, I I'm a uh I'm a schoolboy for real.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Like I be super focused in school and stuff like that.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm on the verge again.
- 3:05SPEAKER_02: I'm graduating this May, get my bachelor's, and next May I get my master's.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: So like besides all the partying stuff or whatever, I'll be super like them in school.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: I actually uh just signed a uh job offer.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: I don't want to say word yet or something like that, but like I'm gonna just post it when I post it then I could, I could, you know, I'm just everybody's stuff like that.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 3:25SPEAKER_03: Why why why is that important to make that distinction?
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: Uh just because I for some reason uh God been telling me lately, like, don't tell nobody like what you're doing until you do it or whatever, because it can mess up the plans and stuff like that.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: So like uh I've been big on that, whatever.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: Just like waiting to like tell my accomplishments when I accomplishment and like people just seeing them on some stuff like that.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: So like that's really because you don't you don't never know what people probably bad motivated, you're putting on your dreams and like you know what I'm saying?
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: People just don't want to see you succeed.
- 3:55SPEAKER_02: And I know it's probably uh kind of scary for a lot of people who probably don't like me or whatever or something like that, just to see uh the drajecty of my success and stuff like that.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: Like luckily I got somebody on Sami, like Spy, like a good manager, you know what I'm saying, that want to see me win and in every situation.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: So you said I'm not just parties, like I really be on my books, yeah.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: 100%.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: Why is that important to kind of put that out there too?
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: Because I feel like besides all their partying stuff, it's cool and all, but like from the average person looking in, they don't see like what goes on behind the scenes and stuff like that or whatever.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: So besides of the party, I feel like the partying, like that's not really longevity for real.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: You want you're gonna want longevity and some like even if you might play up for a couple more years or something like that, it's just an extra income to me for real.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: I don't like I mean I enjoy the parties and stuff like that, but I ain't trying to party my whole life.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Like I'm I'm trying to settle down and have like have like a wife by the age and kids by the age of 30 or something.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: Like, I can't like Is there a special somebody out there?
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: We'll get to that.
- 4:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean I can't, I can't like I don't know.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: I ain't trying to be out till 2 a.m.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: when I'm 29, 30 years old.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Like if I ain't making no money, I'm for real.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: It's like yeah, that shit over with, you know what I'm saying?
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Like, I ain't that's childish at that point.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, bro.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: Man, who is Nick?
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: Like, let's go back to the to the beginning.
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: Like, let the people into the journey, bro, of like where you from, how'd you come on?
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: Like, oh man.
- 5:21SPEAKER_03: Can you throw it?
- 5:22SPEAKER_03: See that?
- 5:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's that's maybe niggas.
- 5:25SPEAKER_03: So take me there.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: Like, give me give me your upbringing, man.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: From there, what's happening?
- 5:29SPEAKER_03: You got the basketball, yeah, man.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: So born in Little Arkansas, pretty much raised in Little Royal, Arkansas.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: I skipped around from like school to school and stuff like that.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: But I graduated from Central High School.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Chattle to the Rock.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Super tough, whatever.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: I yeah, 12th grade year was crazy.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: We turned up that school for sure.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Um, just did that or whatever.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: I have I've created me and my uh homeboy created our own our own clothing brand, Straight Up LSC.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: We was like in like 10th grade or something like that.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: Ever since then, we've just been doing it from there, whatever.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: We we finna pick back up on the soon.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: Shut up, DJ for sure.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: And um just along that, like just throwing parties, like we from uh doing the clothing brand to throwing parties, like building off that or whatever, then taking it to college.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna full ride, thank the Lord, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: So all the extra money I'm making is coming out of pockets.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Academically, full ride or something like that.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Something like that.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Something like that, yeah, something like that.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: But just full ride for sure.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: That's what's up, bro.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then yeah, all the so really with all the money I'm making right now, I'm really just trying to save it up and like really like invest in something big or whatever.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: Or just like if rainy days happen, like I could be able to do that.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I'll probably say like last spring break, like after spring break happened, I was really living too fast, whatever.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: I had uh hydro play in my car.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: And so I was without a car like for a minute.
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: But I had the money though, I was just trying to make the right decision.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: So luckily, I'm able to like not not be down for a long time.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: I can already I already got money saved up to just go buy buy a new car, I wouldn't have bought a new car.
- 6:57SPEAKER_02: You go get the bid, you can't get the bids off the lot.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, easy.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: Like, I feel like I feel like kids nowadays, though, it's like we live, nobody should really live them like pay to pay the paycheck to paycheck or whatever.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Like you should already be ahead in advance or whatever.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: You don't want to be stuck in the same cycle, like matrix or something like that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: But you got a a business mindset for uh what I would consider a younger person.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: That's that feels at best beyond your years.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: Like, where did that come from?
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: What was that did your parents teach you how to hustle?
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: Like, where did that that mentality come from?
- 7:31SPEAKER_03: I'd say my dad is a very big hustler for sure.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: Shout out his uh, he got a uh food truck company, uh Tree Smoking Hogs.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: He actually gonna be at my event April 11th, uh Freaking.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I got PME JB performance.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: That's gonna go crazy right there.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna lie.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: I'm going hit for hit for sure.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: All the way.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: Uh but yeah, shout out Pouch for sure.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: So and then other than that, my uh my stepdad, my mom, I got a good foundation at home and stuff like that.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: They always, you know, raise me, right, to have good morals and stuff like that.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Cause nowadays, though, people don't need having good morals and stuff.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: Like, like you could, you could have like a like niggas, I think I don't know.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: This your podcast.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Like, I was gonna say, like, when uh I feel like when people get like a certain amount of money or like a certain like reach a certain amount of success stuff, I feel like all their morals start to go out the window or whatever, like that.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: And it's like I can't, I can't be no fuck, nigga.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: It don't feel right.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: Like I can't just do whole shit.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't know.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: Like it just It's it's it's tough.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a hard thing to do once you actually if you got morals.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: It's easy to do it because when people are gotable.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And but so to be in a position like Nick and you still treat people right, it's a big thing.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: It was one of the big reasons why I I you know gravitated towards them.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: How did y'all initially link up?
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: All right, that that story is crazy now.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Like uh it was like it was like a whole situation with like Anally Chopper, like, and like he was uh it was uh we was bringing out Annally Chopper, whatever, and then we were starting to after party.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: A lot of stuff went on between me and another promoter at the after party started, like it was like a whole scandal.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Just sum it up, they didn't want us to work together.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And the biggest thing was just trying to keep us from collaboring.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, basically.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: And uh Nick seen through it.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: You know, he could have just, you know, because the guy that was trying to prevent it from happening wasn't just no, you know, he had clout, people was rocking with him.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: Nick could have been like, you know, uh, whatever, spider, I already know you.
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: He gave me a shot and learned who I was and kept working with him.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: And shout out to him, though.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna lie, he he was uh one of the first people ever to like he gave when that that show he gave me that back end, and it was up ever since then.
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: Yes, facts.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Went real good, real good, yeah, real good, real good.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Uh Nick was one of the first younger ones that I just wanted to make sure, like, because you know, you once we get up there, we've done parties and stuff like that.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: It's like, let me tell him some of the stuff I wish I needed, I I should have known during that time.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: Hey, hey, and a hot take while I'm on a duck, Spotted, can you tell these folks out of all the years in Fayetteville, past years, from like grad alumni and stuff like that or whatever, can you please tell these folks that nigga ain't nobody, anybody bigger than me, like that that came through that came through Fayetteville.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm on my own, like no, no added people, no nothing.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: It's just Nick running it by myself.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: I ain't need no other other help or nothing like that.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Nah, Nick definitely came through what like like a wrecking ball.
- 10:42SPEAKER_03: You said you ain't seen, you've been there over a decade.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: You said you ain't seen nothing like that.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Y'all y'all can comment in the comment section, please tell me who who harder who harder than me.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Now you know, now did you we're gonna say it?
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be people who gonna comment.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: It's coming.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: They're gonna comment.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: But Nick has the proof like venue after venue, place after place, time after time.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: He's packed out multiple.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: And we go currency for currency, though.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's see nowadays.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: You popping it, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: That's a hot take right there.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: You popping it right now, bro.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Like you he's gonna do it.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you standing behind this?
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just seen Nick.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: I just seen him battle for that.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: For sure.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: Hot take it.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't, I like I said, I'm not one for confrontation.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I don't want to do all that.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: But I've seen the battles like where it was like, oh yeah, we're gonna throw it on the same day.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: And it didn't go the right.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: For sure, but it didn't go.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Like I've seen that.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm I'm not talking about like seeing it, like they had a party over there.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: You said firsthand, you didn't witness this.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: I'm looking at his face.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I'm looking at his face.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: I lost.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Like I've seen that.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: And it's the niggas just cool about it.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like whatever.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: You I mean what you thought was going on.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: But most of all to say though, I'm super grateful though, just to even be in this position for uh God can take anything away from me.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: Humbly.
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: It just be some people just be hating, I just be having to let that be known or whatever.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't be hearing all the noise outside from that, cause like I try not to even indulge in that or whatever.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: Like niggas ain't really leaving, like, living the same lifestyle as me, like even have the same like nothing.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: So it's like I'm super grateful.
- 12:16SPEAKER_03: Like, I ain't even trying to you see my eyes over here, bro.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you know what I'm saying?
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: Cause like this is true story too.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: Right now it's still like yeah, it could go a whole nother level.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Cause it's true.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: It's receipts, yeah.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And it's like who is who's saying whatever?
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: All right, let's let's talk about it.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: And it's and you gotta talk about it.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: And another thing too is bro, like, throughout all this, though, I've been I I didn't learn so much just from him and just like they this business wise, though.
- 12:45SPEAKER_02: It's like if you had I'll say to the key to success to win is if you have good morals and good principles and you do right by people, you know how to do business right and markets just like right, bro, you'll be straight.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: Like you'll like you, you you for sure gonna succeed.
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: Let's talk about that.
- 13:00SPEAKER_03: It's it's two things that I keep hearing you say.
- 13:02SPEAKER_03: One of them is having good morals and good principles.
- 13:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, give me some good morals and principles, like as a either whether you are artist, whether you an event uh promoter, whether you are a businessman, like what's some good she loves Nick rule of thumb principles?
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: Like that's that's hard to say because like it's like I can't if a nigga already a fuck nigga, you it's like you you can't you can't you can't you can't I can tell I can tell what's what's the saying you can you can give you read a book, you get you oh no something about a cow and water you can lead a horse to water picture, yeah, yeah.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah yeah yeah you know what I would say uh I I one thing does as far as like a good moral from you if you got stuff going on, Nick doesn't mind working with you regardless of how big he is.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like it whatever he's saying right now, he can definitely tone it down to work with anybody, yeah.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Any statute.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: If you try to do something, let's work together.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: And and you but you know, if you mess that up, right?
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And it's over life for life, ain't gonna lie.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and it's happened where it's like the people get like they're bigger than the program.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: But if you would have just kept your morals straight, kept the business straight, like he's saying, yeah, all of us can win.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of like one of the things that I would speak on as far as like morals, like I know who I am.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: I don't need help finding out that person.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Like I've seen I've done things.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: And and there's people that are doing things that will vouch for me as well.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: And you know, Fortnick.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: And um, I still would work with you.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: I still would not look at you like you're in the little.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Like a lot of people get outside the program that they're bigger than the program.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I feel like that's how you easily fall off to whatever.
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: Like, I be I be trying to bring myself back to reality sometimes.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: I'm like, bro, like, okay, no, you not too cool, like to be doing this or whatever.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Like you could you could still do this, you know, like that's why I'll be having to tell myself, like, you not too cool, like to like sometimes be like, bro, like, oh I'll be letting my ego in a way sometimes.
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: Like, I'd be like, hold on, let me chill out or whatever.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Cause like if you if you think about if you watch old videos from like DDG or like costing it or whatever, like the the shit that they probably was doing, probably that they thought probably they was lame as hell, but they was still doing it.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: People were still watching them now.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: Nigga, niggas in the like think about niggas was streaming like 16-year-olds playing video game and stuff, and now niggas in the club were bad bitches, like just popping it, you know what I'm saying?
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so like and then that they think that's cool now just because they popping.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: So it's like sometimes you gotta you gotta rock out the, you know what I'm saying, rock out the way, whatever.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: If you if you um you think something lame, but you like it still, just do it, bro.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Just figure follow your crap, your own crap, whatever.
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and then uh sooner or later if you make money off it, man.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: Go ahead.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: You said it's good to market yourself.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Like, how do you how do you learn how to market yourself?
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: Like for you specifically, like how did you figure out, you know, where did even the name, she loves Nick.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: Like, what did you know?
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: Because when when you think about you, there's a whole brand that comes with it.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: Whether you conscious in that, which I feel like you are, or you not, like, you know, you're a brand now.
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: So like how do you market yourself?
- 16:05SPEAKER_03: How did you figure that out?
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: Dang, that's that's really a good question.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: Um, I would say really just like I I build it, I build my brand and face card up in my own city of Little Rock from like just my clothing brand, just from like uh just from like uh doing photo shoots with like my photographer Allison or whatever, and shout out uh Visions by Ellie.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: And then like I was really, I was really into fashion at one point for us.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: So I was just doing a lot of photo shoots, stuff like that, and people was rocking with us.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: So then like just like over time, just like got my hands in the other stuff.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: I'm real big in my fitness journey now.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: So like I've been trying to like make content like that or whatever, and then like the party's gonna sort of silk it.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: Is that why you wore the cutoff?
- 16:45SPEAKER_03: Like you came in, you know what I'm saying?
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: Trying to add I'm just saying, you know, is that why you wore, you know what I'm saying?
- 16:50SPEAKER_03: Nah, I just forgot.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: That's just for everybody.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he definitely talking about it.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:59SPEAKER_02: As um she said, Sprito water.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna choose water instantly.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I ain't gonna lie, I ain't yeah, but yeah, that's I've been super into my finish journey in uh in healthy east and stuff like that, whatever.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: So like, and then like just marketing yourself as like like just the basics, like start start off Instagram, start on TikTok, start on uh YouTube shorts and stuff like that.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: Like it's really like to promote a party is real easy, like or just like um just like collab with other people, whatever that uh collab with the right people, especially to really like uh get your party going and stuff like that.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: It's not like I said, it's it may be people maybe think it's hard to know a party, just a lot of going behind the scenes or whatever.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: But once you execute that, bro, you good, it's gonna sell itself for sure.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: Do you find that people in your space, whether that's events or parties, do you find that there's more collaboration or more competition?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: What would you say?
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: I would I wouldn't wanted to go back to the brand in question.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: I had something I wanted to say.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, jump in.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: But then we can go back to that.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Uh I think Nick has a natural brand in mind.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Um quality.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: Uh Nick was the first person I worked with that uh presented quality from the junk.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: You know, uh even from his clothing line.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Just checking out his Instagram before I got to know him.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: The pictures that he was taking, like as a kid, like young, like it was always high quality.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: He was never just trying to, you know, do something.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: He was doing it prior jump.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:28SPEAKER_02: Quantity over quality.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and even from like even when we walked in.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: No, I said they're on quality over quantity.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, uh he he being aware.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Uh he made sure he captured every moment he needed to before we even got started with the main event in here.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: He got everything he needs to make this look as big as he wanted to make it look.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Having that awareness as far as like branding is what makes br brands to separate brands.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And Nick has the natural ability of doing that, you know.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: So I would say that's that's a big key in making the Sheila of Nick's brand.
- 19:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:05SPEAKER_03: What makes a good event?
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: I know we was gonna go, but I'm I'm curious.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: Like, what what makes an event one that at the end of the night, you like, man, this was a successful night?
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: Like, what's what's some things that go into?
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: I'll say what makes a good event, bro, and sometimes like I'll be like, like you really gotta post it and promote it damn near every single day or whatever, and have the right people post and promote every single day.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then me personally, I don't like to do hosts or whatever, but sometimes I do hosts or whatever, and then you gotta get the right host or whatever, stuff like that.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: And then if you want a rapper to come or whatever, have them uh post it on their page and stuff like that.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: But you you get you damn near gotta spam it low-key, like yeah, but like once once the day come, whatever, the hype build up, whatever.
- 19:45SPEAKER_02: If you got over a thousand likes on your on your flyer post or whatever, a thousand likes, bro, people don't even get a thousand likes on their pictures, they post any outfit.
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: So a thousand likes on a picture, uh, a flyer post, you know it's gonna do numbers.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: So they like after you get a spam in it, bro.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Like, it's really like you put all the hard work into like doing everything, you got everything situated, like DJ Book, Security Book, venue book, it's up to you now.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Like, it's it's hey, like you're gonna see the tournament of success or whatever.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: So for like la, like last uh this past Saturday or whatever, it went crazy.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna lie.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: Like Neon Glow, Neon Glow party.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Like, I sometimes I get tired of like just spamming it because like like like I said, quality or requesty.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't like my Instagram being like no no blog page or nothing like that or whatever.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: I try like to keep the like quality good, like and like the luxury like lifestyle on my Instagram.
- 20:33SPEAKER_02: So sometimes they they do get played.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: I'll be like, dang, like, like damn, like this shit really like I'm too cool like to be spamming my shit like this.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, but but yeah, it'd be like I'd be like, nigga, so like I'm gonna spam this shit, get this money, man.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: I'm trying to turn it.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: So it's like after a while, it'd be like cool, whatever, but that's that's really to create a good event right there.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: You just gotta promote it, promote it, promote it, promote it, bro.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: And then when it comes to day of the event, like for you, is it how many people come?
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: Is it who talking about it while they there?
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: Is it you know what I'm saying?
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: I remember I used to have some friends that it was a good event if it got shut down.
- 21:12SPEAKER_03: Like, what's a yeah, yeah.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, now I know, hold on.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: I know a good event.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: I know a good event uh gonna be one where when random hoes start coming out the woodworks.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: You know, like and you were like, hey, I'm I'm popping out.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm in your city.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: I don't care if you like, yeah, you ain't talking to me for much.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: Just show up at the party, say hey, whatever.
- 21:31SPEAKER_02: I don't, yeah.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: That's how I know.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: That's how I know it's been gonna go crazy when I just hear random people talking about it.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:37SPEAKER_02: Like uh I got stopped at school the other day, whatever.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: Um, it was like they mean like a uh a grad assistant or somebody that like a dang broke manager on your party, they've been going crazy.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Like I got I got real deal advisors and like uh like a couple of professors that follow me, whatever, like from the university.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, I go to University of Arkansas, but it was Okay, talk about it.
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: But yeah, uh this yeah, they they followed me.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: On Instagram, they be seeing me.
- 22:01SPEAKER_02: They be like, dang, nigga, you you lit.
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I come to class and make A's and B's, you know what I'm saying?
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: That's yeah.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: They be like, Damn, you you doing it.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: And I'll be I be wanting to see, like, I be wanting to like know your thought pressing process and like other people's thought presses on just like the trajectory of my success or whatever.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: Like, how they like how they have you seen like me like elevate all this time, whatever.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: Like, I be wanting to look from the outside looking in or some shit.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Put your s uh Put yourself in somebody else's shoes.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: So basically, like um what the conversations after the night of the event is what um he's what lets him know how great the event is.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and he's gonna be 100% with me.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: Like if he be like, you know what I'm saying?
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: Like he'll he'll tell me right or wrong for sure.
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: Like he know, you know, he gonna yeah, he knows yes, we'll keep it 1,000.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, 100%.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Like I mean, you know, um Nick really has thrown an event that hasn't been what we consider successful.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Very like, and if it was, it was definitely some stuff that ha has something to do with other people, yeah, and not everything that we technically wanted to just do.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: But, you know, a successful event with She Loves Nick is the conversations afterwards.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Uh the vibe of the people there, you see smiles, you see people having the best time in life.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: You know, whenever they get 30, they're gonna talk about a Sheila Nick event.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And that's what it's like back in my day, well, we used to go chill with Nick.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: And that's that's that's what makes his events what it is.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and what's other people doing that?
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: And what's crazy is that like how you say like when when people were 30 and they like talking about like, you know, like then we used to go to Sheila and Nick party, it's like I are I wanna be still popping by the time I'm 30, like and then talking about that shit.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: Like I don't want to be, I don't want to be like, you know what I'm saying, years down the line, be having like 10 of my kids, yeah.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: I was that nigga, whatever.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be that nigga right then and there too on the you know what I'm saying?
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: So yeah, that's yeah, longevity a motherfucker.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Well yeah, yeah, if you you know you asked the question, it's like putting with the projectory and like what we see.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: One of the biggest things I think you said is like, you know, uh first of all, quality.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Um, but talking about just other things that you have going on outside of like throwing parties, that that projectory skyrockets you already.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: You know, whatever you're gonna do, if you think in lap like that, you're gonna be successful.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: So like that's what I see.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: I see whatever you plan on doing, however you plan on doing it, yeah.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: That type of mindset, you're gonna be okay.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: When you got into your your creator slash YouTube journey, tell me about that.
- 24:44SPEAKER_03: Like, what made you start speaking on that?
- 24:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, let's get into it.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: Like, what made you start blogging and kind of documenting the process?
- 24:50SPEAKER_03: And then where are you now in terms of you know your journey when it comes to that?
- 24:54SPEAKER_03: That's an excellent question.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: So it's crazy is like, bro, since I was like in middle school, like high school, whatever, I used to do like prints on like my my friends or whatever, they'll come over to my house, like just drowning them in a pot of water, like just from shit like that, like slapping them with lotion, like bait, putting, like putting baby powder all over their face while they see mustard, ketchup, everything.
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: So it's like people always found me and my friends interesting together.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: And like I was like, dang, like I should have been started a uh a YouTube, whatever.
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: So finally, I think uh it was my sophomore year out of college, whatever.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: I was like, bro, like we was throwing like a whole homecoming lineup.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: I'm like, bro, I gotta start documenting this shit because I want this shit like when I get uh older or whatever.
- 25:37SPEAKER_02: So boom, I had through, I had posted my uh flirt first vlog, whatever.
- 25:41SPEAKER_02: Shout out my uh camera who recorded Brad.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: I don't care.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, can't uh he from my hometown.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: I've been knowing him since kids or whatever.
- 25:47SPEAKER_02: So he came and uh recorded the video, whatever.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: What's crazy is the video, the footage ended up getting lost from like the whole video, like the vlog I was gonna post.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: I'm like, damn, bro.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: So then like, bro, I'm like, we trying to like figure out like how to how the fuck can we get this footage back or whatever?
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: So magically we end up getting it back like a couple like a week later on some shit.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: And so like I was like, that's a sign for me to post it.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: So I end up posting it or whatever, because I wanted to post it earlier, so I ended up posting it.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: And then the first vlog I posted, you got like, I think it's at 1.4k now.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: Oh wow views.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: Like, so I was like, ding, so that gave me a little inspiration to keep going.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and so I'm at like one point, I'm at like one over one K followers on uh YouTube.
- 26:26SPEAKER_02: So uh I really got the inspiration from like uh other YouTubers and stuff like that, like for sure, uh DDG or whatever.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: He um I've been watching him since I was a kid or whatever.
- 26:36SPEAKER_02: I just seen like and I thought shit he was doing was cool, like all the hoes and shit like that, or whatever.
- 26:41SPEAKER_02: So like Yeah, so it's just like that.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Um I really want to get more more consistent for sure.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: I would say, because like like I said, I'd be having a snap out of the I think I'm too cool to do shit or whatever.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: Some people find my lifestyle interesting or whatever.
- 26:55SPEAKER_02: Sometimes I'd be like, damn, it's kind of getting played out on some shit or whatever.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: Probably because I I don't know.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that's uh yeah, I'm I'm I'm finna get back consistent on the journey for sure, or whatever.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: I because I got potential, like I got all the all the like resources I need to blow up, whatever.
- 27:09SPEAKER_02: I just need to execute it.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: I heard you say something interesting.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: You said you started doing it in the first place because you wanted to look back on this stuff, so almost like documentation.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, I think I just thought of some because I'm creating a documentary that I'm gonna post when I graduate college.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: So like that, I'm super excited for that.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: That's my first time I even saying this stuff.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: So this is storytelling exclusive, right?
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm gonna post the documentary.
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be crazy.
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: It's gonna have a lot of personal stuff too in it.
- 27:37SPEAKER_03: So like I hope y'all really enjoy it.
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: You get this sitting across the table from you, you get this very confident, grounded demeanor.
- 27:47SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: Like, on one hand, it's like, man, the Lord got me a scholarship.
- 27:52SPEAKER_03: Like, God could take all of this away.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: On the other hand, it's I'm the hottest this city has ever seen.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 27:58SPEAKER_03: Like, angels in danger.
- 27:59SPEAKER_03: And I think, and I think I I mean, I do think you need both.
- 28:02SPEAKER_03: Like, I think there is a constant awareness of like, yes, bruh, you know, at any point, this can be taken away.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: No, for sure.
- 28:09SPEAKER_03: Pride comes before the fall.
- 28:10SPEAKER_03: I don't want my ego to, you know what I'm saying, put me up a little bit.
- 28:13SPEAKER_02: Even though it be give me, I'd be I gotta chill out though.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: Every yeah, I don't know.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: I think every great person goes through that.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, everyone that has some success should go through it.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: If you're not, that's that's the problem.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: I would say on the on the outside looking in, people probably like see like me being super confident or whatever, which I am super confident, but then on the inside, sometimes I be down myself, be like, dang, like, I don't know, bro.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: Like, you know what I'm saying?
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: Like, mm, I don't know if I shouldn't have did that.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: I don't know if uh, but it's like, well can you say, hell yeah, I should've.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: I should've.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: But he said, I should have blown off the D's, I should've blown off the gap, like, yeah, all that.
- 28:53SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm standing on all that for sure.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: What's the hardest part about putting yourself out there?
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: I say sometimes like you uh might want to think what other people think and be like kind of embarrassed or whatever the whole time they probably fucking with it, but they ain't gonna tell you that, even though if they're there, if they don't fuck with you, you know what I'm saying?
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: So it's like I feel like niggas would rather hate than like show love first on some shit just because they want to do what you want to do.
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: Stop hanging.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he said, I don't know, stop hanging.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: It is like I I feel especially for a young uh a young man.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, young man to because we could we come in the world, everything is super judgmental.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah and so like even the things that are great like before they became great was probably judged as so that's it's super difficult when you got like a great idea and it's personally yours and you want to put it out there, but you're uh it's really tough to uh really uh you know think about what type of feedback you're really finna get right now.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: And so that that's tough.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, when I think about it too, is like if you uh like bro, it's like over one billion people on the world, bro, and it's only one of me.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: I can't fight everybody.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Like I can't do something to everybody.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: Like, like so like I can't.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: Oh you do that.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: Like, bro, I can't like bro.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: I I I just rather not even I think people be even more mad when it's like like they send shots or whatever, and I don't even like I just ignore it on some stuff because it's like bro, like, man, they ain't paying me no money.
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like I don't know.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: Real talk.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: When you think about building what you've built, whether that's your thousand subscribers on uh YouTube, whether that's your Instagram that's over 8,000, you know.
- 30:46SPEAKER_03: One thing I noticed with you is it's just it's not just a number, like people are actually engaging with this stuff.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Like they're like people's actually in tune.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: They in tune, they come in, they like, and they feel like they know you and they're connected to you now more than ever.
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: That's probably the most important thing.
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: It's like creating those, like how do you how do you build those real personal connections with people to where they're not just a number on your page, but like they actually care about you and what you're doing.
- 31:12SPEAKER_03: Like, how does a person do that?
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: Dang, that's that's crazy, that's crazy uh question right there.
- 31:17SPEAKER_02: Cause like I would that's genuinely how I be thinking when I can I create content or when I throw parties ever.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: I I want to like I want to be able to like touch a person, like and I ain't even touching them for it.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Like I want to be able to like to uh like whenever somebody attends my parties or whatever, like I probably like I wouldn't even say just like just like people in general run to people on Instagram, they probably say what's up to me or whatever.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: Like whenever they and my party was there, I probably greet them like what's up, bro.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: Like uh I probably like tell the girl like, hey, thank you so much for coming, you know what I'm saying?
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: Like, or like thank you so much, beautiful, whatever.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: They feed off into it every day, and that's just how you create that like uh like that connection, or like that, that friendship, whatever, like that.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: Just like uh marketing and connecting with people, like a lot of people want to do business with me and stuff like that.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: So I try to um just keep in good contact, whatever, like just uh or just like on Instagram, just like comment on the on the post that hey brother shit fire, whatever.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: Even if you don't think it's fire, it's yeah, show them.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, he does do a lot of support, like he shows a lot of support.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: Um he says the person that wants to brag a lot, you know, he he's that guy.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: Nick does show way more side of the humble person, right overly, like maybe way too much of it.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: And he's he's on post, he's on rappers' posts, he's on people posts that obviously knows that he's here and there, and he's still supporting them.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: And that's what makes that number like real.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: And that's why they just become numbers.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: They they're watching your page to see either your downfall or to pay attention to your success from afar.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: But when you were like Nick, I'm gonna comment on the guy with 300 followers with two comments on there.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be two of them.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, some I never understood though.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: Some some niggas are probably some niggas rather post uh little baby posts, rather post their homeboy, homeboy uh post or whatever.
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: Like, nigga, I don't care if my homeboy got 10 likes and one comment.
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna spam 20 comments, 20, 20, I'm gonna spam 20 fire emojis or whatever.
- 33:19SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna fax.
- 33:20SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:20SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna turn them up.
- 33:21SPEAKER_03: That's all right.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: I made a song that says support your homies like them strangers, we'll all be on.
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: You feel me?
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: No, for real, for real.
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: So it ain't nothing to support for real or whatever.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: I feel like I show more support than I get support if we being real 100% behind the scenes.
- 33:34SPEAKER_02: Like I made, you know what I'm saying?
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: I make phone calls, I congratulate niggas, like, hey, keep popping your shit.
- 33:39SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: Like, and just stuff like that, or because like that one phone call could change like somebody, like, you know what I'm saying?
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Thought processing whatever, like, especially like probably coming from me, whatever.
- 33:48SPEAKER_02: Like, I ain't I ain't too busy like to reach out whatever like people, the sort of people I, you know, I feel it, you know what I'm saying?
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: Like, keep going, nigga.
- 33:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: So it's just yeah, still like that.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: Where did that come from?
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: Because I feel like that's something it's free.
- 34:01SPEAKER_03: But but even though it's free, I don't think we see that as often as we probably would like to.
- 34:06SPEAKER_03: So yeah, you where did that like?
- 34:08SPEAKER_02: I feel like you never, you never know, like uh like just like on Instagram, like how you how you how you reached out to me on Instagram, whatever.
- 34:15SPEAKER_02: Like, I I followed you back, whatever.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: I uh probably liked a few photos or stuff like that or whatever.
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: Like that could go a long way, really.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: Hey, appreciate you for showing love.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: You never know.
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: I can we just build a connection right here, whatever.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: So it's like connections go a long way for sure.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: It gets you on various doors.
- 34:31SPEAKER_03: Man, I really gotta show you love, bro, because I hit you usually straight through you.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: That's me, like behind the mess.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: And I ain't never too high with to like not respond.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Like if I see some shit, I'ma I'm gonna I'm gonna respond back, whatever.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: And I'm down, like so just show love, whatever.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: Like, uh, it was this girl who recently um came came to my crib, she got like a little food business or whatever, like, and she wanted me to do a video, try to food and stuff like that, or whatever.
- 34:52SPEAKER_02: Like I did the video, whatever, and then after we got done, she like, how much I gotta pay you?
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: Like, you ain't gotta pin me now.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: I'm just trying to, I'm just trying to show love, you know what I'm saying?
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: Like, like I feel like I feel like that would be wrong to take her payment, whatever.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: Like, and then like I want I would want somebody to show me love too, you know what I'm saying?
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: So like it just be the small things like that.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: It ain't gonna hurt me to show love, you know what I'm saying?
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, getting free food at the end of the day, so it's like you know, it's it's a double-edged sword to all of this.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, um, it's people who have um, like I would say, Nick with Nick doesn't do that a lot of people do, it's people who do treat support wrong.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: And and a lot of people are burnt out on that.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Like, so it's not it it's a lot of things that get mixed in with everything.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: So like, okay, like I don't want to support him because I'm hate.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: You got those people, but you also got the people that don't want to support somebody that's gonna be a douchebag, you know?
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and so it's all and you also got them people that don't want to support but still be around you.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: Yes, and and and all of it intertwines, it's everything has a mask.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: And if you if you you you just gotta be like really talking to somebody to know so they can be okay with pulling it up.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: All right, you you alright, bro.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: You cool.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: I'll show you who I really am.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: But you have to be talking to them.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: You gotta do the things like when somebody hit you up, like how he comes here, for to be able to really get true support.
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I feel like all this really gonna benefit in the long run, though.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: Just like, just like the groundwork right here, whatever, like just me doing this or whatever, just me um posting like for other people and stuff like that, and stuff like that.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: Like by the time I make it, uh, y'all be able to you'll be able to vouch for me, like, bro, Nick really a genuine dude, though.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: Some shit.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: Like, when I make it, you know what I'm saying?
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Nick, Nick really like show love for like, and I'm gonna still be reaching out there.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: I'll never go to Hollywood not to reach back out and you know, help people, other people.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: That's really why I want to make it for just to get back to get back to the people, like my family and friends, like uh, you know what I'm saying?
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Every every night I pray this prayer, I'll be like, uh, Lord, you just just thank you for uh waking me up, whatever, and just thank you for uh just everything you're doing for me.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: And then like, you know, I hope I pray I make it to whatever to uh provide for my family and friends, give them everything they ever wanted and needed.
- 37:06SPEAKER_02: And I pray that prayer every day, so hopefully that comes true.
- 37:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: What does make it look like?
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: How do you know when you made it?
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: Ding, I know I say how do I know when I made it when when I would say I'm financially stable and I got like a couple of businesses that just making money on their own at that point.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: I'm able like to move my mom like into like her own like well, I'm able to like tell my mom she quit her job.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: That's when I know I made it for sure.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: I can't wait.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: Great answer.
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:36SPEAKER_03: I want to put a commercial bike right here.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: You shining today.
- 37:39SPEAKER_03: You know, and then hold the piece up, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: Go ahead and you know what I'm saying.
- 37:43SPEAKER_03: I noticed that you know wear it every day.
- 37:46SPEAKER_03: It was extra bright in here, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: I said I said, My boy really popped out.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm wearing there.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: I wear when I go to the school with the kids.
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: Shout out to CTG, you know what I'm saying?
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I tough.
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: I'll put it on when I go to see the kids.
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: That's real, bro.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: Give me, give me your three-step plan.
- 38:03SPEAKER_03: If somebody's listening to this, yeah, and they want a platform, they want to build something, they want the thousand subscribers, they want to have a Instagram where they post a flyer and get a thousand likes, and now people start to pop out like they want to do what you're doing.
- 38:19SPEAKER_03: What do you what do you have?
- 38:20SPEAKER_03: What three steps for somebody who wants to put themselves out there do you have?
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: Like, do take these three practical tips and do these and you could get to where I am.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: What would you say?
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: I say the first step is um to come up with a plan.
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: You gotta you gotta have a plan first before you do anything.
- 38:39SPEAKER_02: You gotta have a plan.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: So come up with that plan that you're trying to execute it, and then make sure whatever it you is doing that you're trying to execute, make sure you have a strong foundation behind you.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: You gotta build a foundation, whatever.
- 38:51SPEAKER_02: Like you can't change it, be no slaws, nigga.
- 38:54SPEAKER_02: Expect people to pull, like, do, like, support you, whatever you're trying to do, whatever.
- 38:58SPEAKER_02: Like, you gotta build that foundation, that connection.
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: And then third, it's all about executing it.
- 39:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 39:04SPEAKER_02: Like literally, like you got you gotta you gotta make sure you execute it.
- 39:07SPEAKER_02: Like, whenever my my biggest thing will what me and him be talking about when we be at the parties or whatever, it'd be like we can't we can't have fun and party.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: We gotta like pick one.
- 39:17SPEAKER_02: You can't like I tell people that all the time, like people who I work with, like, you can't have fun and party, bro.
- 39:22SPEAKER_02: It's not gonna work out.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: Like, it's gonna make me mad too at that point.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like for real.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: Like you, it's either you gonna party or uh make money on some shit.
- 39:30SPEAKER_02: You can't do both though.
- 39:31SPEAKER_02: Like, it'll fuck up the business, whatever, and not things can't flow how they supposed to flow or whatever.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: If you trying to party and have fun, that's what I tell, I tell everybody who I work with, like, bro, like, we'll be able to party later on when we make it like five years or something like that, whatever.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: But like, right now we gotta grind this shit out, bro.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: Like, we can have fun later, I promise.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: Because it's all gonna make sense eventually.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: Y'all behind me.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm bes behind myself 100%.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: I know where it's gonna go.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: Like you said at the party we working.
- 39:57SPEAKER_03: Like, we not getting a job.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no.
- 39:59SPEAKER_02: People probably see me.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: Some sometimes people probably see me with a straight face at the party.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: They they already, yeah, ain't what other?
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: I think it's interesting from the outside looking in, they don't realize like these events have to be thrown in a certain manner.
- 40:14SPEAKER_03: Like, you gotta be able to think logically, you gotta be able to do damage control if you need to.
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:18SPEAKER_03: For everybody partying, and even if it's your party, like sometimes it's hard to enjoy the event because you really you in work mode.
- 40:25SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, that's your nine to five at that moment.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: But when you but I can make somebody nine to five in two hours, yeah.
- 40:31SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: So that's that's a blessing right there.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: So like when you're in work mode or whatever, it's like after after the event happened, though, it's gonna pay off.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: You can be like, damn, like when I usually after my parties, then I I go have fun if I want to have fun, you know what I'm saying?
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: Then like I I already could handle the business with her.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: I go, I go chill on some stuff.
- 40:51SPEAKER_02: Nowadays, I probably just just go home and chill, count the bread, whatever.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, thank God.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: And then shit, go on by my day, you know what I'm saying?
- 40:59SPEAKER_02: And I wake up Sunday morning, I go to church.
- 41:01SPEAKER_02: I have probably have a long Saturday night.
- 41:03SPEAKER_02: I wake up and I go to church.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: Is it lucrative in the party business?
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: Super.
- 41:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, I ain't gonna say for other, like everybody be like, Yeah, like yeah, I let me just be let me just be clear.
- 41:14SPEAKER_03: So she loves Nick, is it lucrative in the party business?
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: For sure.
- 41:17SPEAKER_03: For sure.
- 41:18SPEAKER_03: How much how much can you make a night off a good party?
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: Uh I would say you can make you can make for sure somebody paycheck.
- 41:32SPEAKER_02: Probably, probably for sure somebody, well, one month or two month paycheck.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: Ready, you go to three, you go to four, five, like it could get up there for sure.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: Off of one good part.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: Offer one good part.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: A lot of it depends on the capacity of the ball.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: If I'm lying on the flying.
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'd seen it be crazy.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: From his parties.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I'd seen it be insane.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: Like, how did you do this?
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: And like, did this really go on?
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: And there was also with the the place taking the cut.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: Taking a percentage of whatever.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: Like I seen him come out of some places with some stuff after they took their cut.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: They get all the alcohol sales, everything.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: Strictly just people coming and party with Nick.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: And I get the whole door.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: So you I tell somebody if they really trying to pocket wise, you do the math on that, you count everybody in that motherfucker, and then you either multiply by 15 or 20.
- 42:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: Or 10.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: It don't matter.
- 42:25SPEAKER_02: Which one?
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: It don't matter.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: And you and you calculate that number, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: I like I like I do love another thing about Nick people.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, and the shout out to y'all, everybody that supports Nick, they don't mind supporting him by being they his true homeboys.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: They know they're gonna either be there early to help set up tables and stuff like that.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: Uh they work in a camera.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: And it's very, it's always still like a small group of those.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: Um, but uh if they come late, they'll pay.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: And that's really real.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't mind.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: Shout out to them though, because when I make it, I'm gonna get it back anyways.
- 42:57SPEAKER_02: It was like, why not help me help you all some shit?
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: You got a lot of influence, I feel like, in people who just trust you.
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: I want to say another thing too is the party, the party business is lucrative, but not for everybody, bro.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: Don't be a fool about what you see on Instagram, social media, bro.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: Niggas could post 10 flyers and make zero dollars.
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: I'm not lying.
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: Am I lying?
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: Please tell me, like, it's like, bro, y'all don't believe everything y'all see on social media, bro.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: It's a it's a job.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: Don't believe it.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: It's a job, and it's really uh like you guys were saying, um usually a promoter's night is work.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: If he's having fun, it's not, it's not, it's not working.
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're not, you're not, you're working from the beginning of the show to the end, if it's lucrative.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that's that's the pro if if you see somebody who's throwing the event and they're having a great time, yeah, you know, red flag.
- 43:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:51SPEAKER_03: But I ain't mean to cut you out.
- 43:54SPEAKER_03: I was I was saying I feel like you have been able to build a lot of influence and credibility, you know, and like spider.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Saying, bro, if your if your friends are paying, yeah, you know, like I feel like that about my homies, they don't mind spending that bread for some merch or a concert ticket or so on and so forth.
- 44:08SPEAKER_03: And so I'm curious for you, kind of a separate question.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: What's your number one?
- 44:13SPEAKER_03: Like, don't do this, don't fall into this trap.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: Or, you know, you gave us your three, you need a plan, you need a support system, and you need to execute.
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: Like, what's the number one for you?
- 44:21SPEAKER_02: Like, don't do this one thing if you're trying to build something, or you want to I'll just say don't do nothing to jeopard jeopardize like your image, though, you know, some shit.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: Just don't do it at all.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: Like, certain shit just don't be worth it or whatever.
- 44:35SPEAKER_02: And like, I ain't gonna lie, I I'll say, I'll say, bro, girl, uh dudes can really get caught up in like with girls and stuff like that, or whatever.
- 44:43SPEAKER_02: Like, sometimes girls would probably paint the narrative or like image like on that.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: And that's just speaking like a broad perspective though, but it's like, bro, certain stuff, like just don't even like indulge in, bro.
- 44:52SPEAKER_02: Like, like girls like could like really ruin your career and stuff like that, whatever.
- 44:57SPEAKER_02: So just be careful, like on the girls who you mess with and stuff like that for real.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:01SPEAKER_02: But just another thing too is is don't don't do flaky business, I feel like, bro.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: Like, that is like a number one rule or like that just, bro.
- 45:10SPEAKER_02: If you if you don't like, if you do bad business, bro, you could you'll never be able to be successful.
- 45:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: Like, don't, and don't let the money get to your hair either.
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: That's hold on, hold on.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: We're clicking right now.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: Don't let the money or clout get to your hair at all.
- 45:22SPEAKER_02: That shit is not gonna matter a week, a week from now at the like, no.
- 45:27SPEAKER_02: Just don't, don't.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: And bro, money come and go, bro.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 45:32SPEAKER_02: You could easily, you could easily make however much uh so on so whatever, and then it could be all going the next day, whatever.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: And then like the clout and attention run out eventually.
- 45:42SPEAKER_02: So it's like, bro, like that shit don't matter, bro.
- 45:45SPEAKER_02: One thing I one thing I be trying to like uh tell myself all the time is bro, woman gonna be here before like before I die, after I die, shit.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: When we die, so on and so on, bro.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: So just don't be so focused on like I try not to be so focused on like gross and stuff at the party and stuff like that, because they be getting too crazy.
- 46:04SPEAKER_02: And so I don't be trying to even indulge in all that for real.
