- 1:03Speaker 3: requests to extend the sale for Eyle University and it
- 1:07Speaker 3: was supposed to get shut down on January one, but
- 1:10Speaker 3: as you know, Ayle University, or as you might not know,
- 1:13Speaker 3: it's actually ending as its current form and graduate school
- 1:17Speaker 3: will begin. So we was planning on launching and graduate school.
- 1:20Speaker 3: January first ran to some technical difficulties, had to make
- 1:23Speaker 3: sure everything was right with the website and all that,
- 1:25Speaker 3: so we pushed it back a week. So you guys
- 1:28Speaker 3: still have seven days to join at the current price.
- 1:30Speaker 3: The price made double may, tripping, may quadruple. We have
- 1:35Speaker 3: to know, but it's going to be completely revamped. It's
- 1:39Speaker 3: gonna be a different situation. But ey University includes over
- 1:43Speaker 3: one hundred past webinars, weekly webinars, access to our movie club,
- 1:47Speaker 3: access to our book club, access to our Facebook group,

- 2:05Speaker 3: at checkout for forty percent off. You got five days. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 3: So you know, this is one of these situations where
- 2:15Speaker 3: it is the momentum has built pretty substantially over the
- 2:21Speaker 3: last year, and him five hundred has really grown an
- 2:26Speaker 3: online community, and he's done it diligently, and he's done
- 2:31Speaker 3: it in real life. We actually got a chance to
- 2:33Speaker 3: see a lot of his work. Want to see his conference,
- 2:36Speaker 3: and it's very impressive what he's put together. So we've
- 2:39Speaker 3: talked about credit before and shout out to everybody that's
- 2:42Speaker 3: been on our platform. Ey University and EYL has talked
- 2:44Speaker 3: about credit and the credit dude. And but for the
- 2:48Speaker 3: most part, the credit that we've talked about is like
- 2:51Speaker 3: on the along the lines of like how to repair
- 2:53Speaker 3: your credit or how to establish you know, basic level
- 2:57Speaker 3: established credit, which is important. We need that levels of
- 2:59Speaker 3: understand but you know, it's like there's different sectors of
- 3:03Speaker 3: credit and just different sectors of financial literacy. So him
- 3:07Speaker 3: five hundred, he focuses on a variety of different things.
- 3:12Speaker 3: But I guess what he's been known for the most
- 3:14Speaker 3: is how to turn credit into cash. And it's a
- 3:18Speaker 3: lot of cool stuff as far as like working with
- 3:21Speaker 3: credit and understanding how to utilize cards, understanding how to
- 3:26Speaker 3: utilize cards, understanding all kinds.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Of we don't seen it all in real life, yea, all.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Kinds of stuff, and yeah, it happened in real life.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Like I said, you know, we shout out to the
- 3:37Speaker 3: whole crew in Atlanta. I don't want to to get anybody,
- 3:41Speaker 3: but you know, Alex him five hundred Gooch Maddy j
- 3:48Speaker 3: just two weeks out, two weeks out, Yeah, everybody her
- 3:55Speaker 3: five hundred. Yeah, most that's a fact. So we we
- 4:00Speaker 3: go down there. He realize that they got a whole
- 4:02Speaker 3: movement of entrepreneurs out there that's doing that thing. And
- 4:04Speaker 3: the young they're black, they're all networking with each other.
- 4:06Speaker 3: And him five hundred is the he's one of the
- 4:10Speaker 3: members of the crew. And everything that he he raps about,
- 4:14Speaker 3: he talks about real life.
- 4:17Speaker 4: They said, he's a positive pressure guy. Yo, you got
- 4:21Speaker 4: that car, you need to get this call.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It's like these rappers, like some rappers actually live it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Some rappers just rapping about it. But everything he talks
- 4:31Speaker 3: about he actually lives and we saw it firsthand. So
- 4:34Speaker 3: this is an exciting conversation. I'm excited to have it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: We're going to talk about a wide variety of hacks,
- 4:41Speaker 3: financial literacy, credit stuff that you can't google. This information
- 4:45Speaker 3: you can't google. That's what you got.
- 4:47Speaker 4: This is in a safe you got you can't crack
- 4:49Speaker 4: the safe on this.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I like that. So Marcus Barney aka him five hundred,
- 4:54Speaker 3: Welcome to EYL. Thank you for joining us.
- 4:56Speaker 4: And I appreciate you guys having me. I appreciate it.
- 4:58Speaker 4: I'm excited.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Yeah, man, yeah, yeah, So let's let's jump right into it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: So you have a whole community and you teach thousands
- 5:06Speaker 3: of people. But it didn't always start like that, right,
- 5:09Speaker 3: So from my understanding, you started as a manager in
- 5:13Speaker 3: the cell phone store.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so I getting started, one of the things that
- 5:18Speaker 1: I noticed was, I mean, early on what I started
- 5:21Speaker 1: was that was actually doing self phone repair. But I
- 5:23Speaker 1: started with real estate at eighteen in California. But that
- 5:27Speaker 1: was two thousand and six, market crash two thousand and seven,
- 5:30Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, I moved to Atlanta. So when
- 5:32Speaker 1: I moved to Atlanta, I found myself doing cell phone
- 5:36Speaker 1: repairing cell phones, like doing run around the city fixing
- 5:40Speaker 1: everybody's cell phones, and ended up landing me in a
- 5:42Speaker 1: cell phone repair shop, and I partnered with the owner
- 5:44Speaker 1: and then I started to run a cell phone shop
- 5:48Speaker 1: for him on a cell phone repair shot.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Okay, so how did that morph into because I know
- 5:54Speaker 3: there was some trials and tribulations up to them, How
- 5:57Speaker 3: did that turn into what you're doing now?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Honestly, that's one of the things that I don't even
- 6:04Speaker 1: think a lot of people don't know, share a little
- 6:08Speaker 1: bit of insights that I ran into a time at
- 6:11Speaker 1: that age, between the age of eighteen and twenty five.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I always tell people it's like the most trying time
- 6:16Speaker 1: for a young man. And I let money get ahead
- 6:20Speaker 1: of me right I started making I probably was making
- 6:22Speaker 1: seven to ten thousand dollars a month at the time,
- 6:25Speaker 1: had maybe thirty forty thousand dollars in savings. And so
- 6:29Speaker 1: as it started to grow, I started to become addicted
- 6:32Speaker 1: to money, you know. And as money starts to play
- 6:35Speaker 1: a part, it plays, it agreed comes in the play.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And what happened was is that the owner Sprint, came
- 6:41Speaker 1: and told us, basically, if you don't have three locations,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you have to shut your repair center down. What a
- 6:47Speaker 1: repair center was making us about twenty plus thousand a
- 6:49Speaker 1: month with me running it, I was bringing I was
- 6:52Speaker 1: taking fifty percent, he was taking fifty percent. He put
- 6:55Speaker 1: it in. He was like, yo, well listen, give me
- 6:58Speaker 1: some time. I'm gonna figure something out. But at this
- 6:59Speaker 1: time on everybody was like buying iPhones, you know, on
- 7:03Speaker 1: the black market, to resell to send overseas. And this
- 7:06Speaker 1: is when Sprint first started doing it. So people will
- 7:09Speaker 1: come in and people will try to buy iPhones from
- 7:11Speaker 1: us for like three four hundred bucks over regular price,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but we got paid off the contract. Well, he was like, yo,
- 7:20Speaker 1: if I may have an account that probably can order
- 7:25Speaker 1: like a few hundred iPhones, you think that the people
- 7:29Speaker 1: will buy them. Like, I'm sure they'll buy guaranteed.
- 7:34Speaker 4: It's like the first iPhone.
- 7:36Speaker 1: This is the it was multiple but it was when
- 7:38Speaker 1: they first came to Sprint. So I'm like, yeah, for
- 7:41Speaker 1: sure they're buying. I put the phone call in. He
- 7:46Speaker 1: brought the account ordered one hundred, one hundred iPhones, one
- 7:50Speaker 1: hundred and fifty iPhones. They was worth one hundred thousand dollars. Well,
- 7:55Speaker 1: we sold them, split it and twenty two years old.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I don't know the back end yet. I don't really
- 8:03Speaker 1: know business.
- 8:05Speaker 4: He said. Insurance are covered MI.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, Well he found out the rough and
- 8:12Speaker 1: the rugged truth insurance only covered six thousand dollars. Since
- 8:17Speaker 1: insurance covered six thousand dollars, you owe ninety four thousand
- 8:21Speaker 1: on one hundred thousand dollars worth of iPhones. They already
- 8:24Speaker 1: then came out and looked into it. Nobody figured out
- 8:27Speaker 1: what happened where they got ordered from nothing, but since
- 8:32Speaker 1: it came under his story ID it came back a
- 8:37Speaker 1: year later he goes and submits information and say, well,
- 8:40Speaker 1: it came from this IP address, and if it came
- 8:43Speaker 1: from this IP address, he did it and threw me
- 8:47Speaker 1: under the bus. And at this time, now I'm twenty three,
- 8:53Speaker 1: twenty four, twenty three almost twenty four, were going back
- 8:57Speaker 1: and forth to court and my lawyer just go He's
- 9:01Speaker 1: just like, yo, listen, it's nothing concrete saying you did it.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But I've seen people convicted on less and I would
- 9:08Speaker 1: hate for you to go and fight it and still lose.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And I'm like his role, he said, you can put
- 9:15Speaker 1: that in there, like basically, if you tell and go
- 9:18Speaker 1: to prison, you're still going to Now you're going to
- 9:20Speaker 1: go to prison with the jacket on like a jail.
- 9:23Speaker 4: You told. So what's your options is it go to
- 9:26Speaker 4: jail or repay? Did they give you that option? Like
- 9:28Speaker 4: you got to pay this ninety four thousand or go
- 9:30Speaker 4: to jail.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So that's what they what they did was it's crazy, listen.
- 9:33Speaker 1: This is one of the reasons and I always say it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm thankful I had a white lawyer for so long.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We didn't see eye to eye.
- 9:42Speaker 4: I let him go.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I was going back and forth to court, and I
- 9:47Speaker 1: hire one of my friend's wife to be my lawyer.
- 9:50Speaker 1: She was a lawyer. She came to court and when
- 9:53Speaker 1: she came to court, she came to court with a
- 9:56Speaker 1: Louis bag, diamond bracelet, nice watch, a diamond ring, right.
- 10:04Speaker 1: And I look and I go, you like you look
- 10:06Speaker 1: popping keep it a buck like you pop it right.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And I'm just thinking to myself, like I'm fin think
- 10:14Speaker 1: get grilled. We walk in and DA switched. It was
- 10:18Speaker 1: nothing but black women. DA's It was a new black girl,
- 10:21Speaker 1: D eight and all her assistants and her whole team
- 10:23Speaker 1: was black women. Every other lawyer in the courtroom that
- 10:26Speaker 1: day was white white men. They some kind of black
- 10:32Speaker 1: girl magic happened. She came back and she said, well, listen,
- 10:39Speaker 1: how much you feel comfortable that you owe? What's your
- 10:42Speaker 1: rep what's the part you feel like you?
- 10:44Speaker 4: Oh?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I said sixty thousand. She was like okay, they said,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you pay the sixty thousand back, you get probation, and
- 10:51Speaker 1: you get first offenders like it never happened. And I'm
- 10:56Speaker 1: looking at thinking to myself, I've been fighting this case
- 10:58Speaker 1: two years going back and forth court and it's over.
- 11:03Speaker 1: She yeah, it's over sixty thousand and it's over. But
- 11:08Speaker 1: the part, the most trying part, was through the time.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I've never been in that situation. So through that time,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I don't know what life is because I don't got control.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Now I'm like, yo, I have no control over my life.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I've never been in a situation where since eighteen i've
- 11:25Speaker 1: been in real estate, I've always been ahead and in control.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I felt like I ran, like I ran my life,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and then I realized, like, yo, you better be on
- 11:35Speaker 1: the right path to run your life because this can
- 11:38Speaker 1: be gone like this. And so from there that's when
- 11:43Speaker 1: I realized, like we closed it out. I got that
- 11:46Speaker 1: behind me, and then I started figuring out, you know, me,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I worked in banks, so like knowing all the bank procedures,
- 11:54Speaker 1: but I know I can't go back if this hold
- 11:57Speaker 1: was above me. You know, I couldn't do it while
- 11:59Speaker 1: I was fighting the case. So at that point, that's
- 12:01Speaker 1: when really I started really learning and digging into credit
- 12:04Speaker 1: because I had to figure out, like, yo, I have
- 12:07Speaker 1: to now have my own loop, my financial backing, because
- 12:10Speaker 1: there's nowhere else for me to get you know, I
- 12:12Speaker 1: can't go to work. Kind of money I want to make,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I can't go to work, So I need some kind
- 12:16Speaker 1: of fund, some kind of trust fund behind me. And
- 12:18Speaker 1: I started digging into credit, really getting heavy into that,
- 12:23Speaker 1: and then leveraging everything I did working at the banks,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and ended up actually even going back to a bank,
- 12:28Speaker 1: getting back in and kind of helping people. And then
- 12:31Speaker 1: that's when the credit stuff started, because I couldn't work
- 12:33Speaker 1: a job because I was used to making money already.
- 12:36Speaker 4: That's crazy, man, I mean I read your story. It
- 12:38Speaker 4: was like, you've always been an entrepreneur, and so to
- 12:41Speaker 4: even have the sixty thousands to beat that that, I mean,
- 12:44Speaker 4: that's pretty remarkable.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So I had to make payments. I'm not gonna front.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I mean I had to make I had to make
- 12:50Speaker 1: payments to get it.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Then, yeah, I mean, but yeah, I mean that's one
- 12:54Speaker 3: of those things where it's like, sometimes everything happens for
- 12:58Speaker 3: a reason, well not even sometimes. Everything always happens for
- 13:00Speaker 3: a reason, right, And it's like, like you said, between
- 13:03Speaker 3: the ages of eighteen and twenty five, especially for anybody,
- 13:06Speaker 3: but especially young men, especially black men, it's very tempting.
- 13:09Speaker 3: You have a lot of temptations you have music, you
- 13:12Speaker 3: have just the culture, society, and a lot of times,
- 13:15Speaker 3: you know, we want to get to the finish line
- 13:17Speaker 3: a lot quicker than we should with our parents, with
- 13:21Speaker 3: our grandparents would advise us. And you know, a hard
- 13:24Speaker 3: head makes a soft fast that.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I was actually thinking that, like, your life is fast
- 13:28Speaker 4: and choosing to move quicker. And then on the other
- 13:31Speaker 4: part was like we always talk about this line of shot.
- 13:32Speaker 4: You be like, yo, change the school to cop but
- 13:34Speaker 4: more poort as loyalties. Yeah, but you got toot out
- 13:39Speaker 4: the whole.
- 13:39Speaker 3: But the shining light in that for me is that you,
- 13:44Speaker 3: you know, saying that using the financial space and me
- 13:46Speaker 3: being in the financial space. I know, anything on your
- 13:47Speaker 3: record like that, it prohibits you from a lot, like
- 13:50Speaker 3: ever really working in the financial space. So it's like
- 13:53Speaker 3: now you forced to kind of figure it out. You
- 13:56Speaker 3: still have a financial space mind. But that didn't happen.
- 14:00Speaker 3: You probably would have just been a regular corporate worker maybe,
- 14:03Speaker 3: but now you have to like kind of force yourself
- 14:05Speaker 3: in to be like an entrepreneur on the credit side
- 14:07Speaker 3: and learn credit. And then that blossomed until where you
- 14:11Speaker 3: are now.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So learning What happened was is that I said listen.
- 14:16Speaker 1: My goal wasn't even getting credit.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I started.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I learned credit when I was eighteen. My broker, my
- 14:22Speaker 1: real estate broker, had a credit pair company. I did
- 14:24Speaker 1: all the underwrite, but my goal. When I started messing
- 14:26Speaker 1: on credit, I go, okay, I need to get mine together, right,
- 14:30Speaker 1: So I start focusing on my credit, figuring it out.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And when everything happened, I never like literally the date
- 14:37Speaker 1: was January fourth. It was January fourth, two thousand and
- 14:43Speaker 1: fifteen when the case closed and was done January twentieth,
- 14:50Speaker 1: I started my credit repair company. Between that time, I
- 14:53Speaker 1: was figuring out what am I going to do? Like,
- 14:55Speaker 1: what am I going to do? I started messing my
- 14:57Speaker 1: credit and then I said, well, I'm gonna help other people.
- 14:59Speaker 1: And I remember putting it out there like yo, I'm
- 15:01Speaker 1: gonna help other people with their credit.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Right, I'm leveraging. Mind.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I figured it out, see people need it. I remember
- 15:07Speaker 1: I made eleven thousand first month. Boom, I go okay,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I got something. Start slowing down, and I remember like leveraging,
- 15:16Speaker 1: like starting to build my credit up and figuring out
- 15:18Speaker 1: what's the benefits because I knew it was more. It
- 15:21Speaker 1: had to be more than get buy a house, buy
- 15:25Speaker 1: a car, and get a credit card just for emergency purposes.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm like, nah, it's more to this. This has to
- 15:30Speaker 1: be worth more than just this what it is on
- 15:33Speaker 1: the simple on the surface. That's where it started to
- 15:36Speaker 1: like flourish, and I started digging deep into like, yo,
- 15:40Speaker 1: how do I really go and get money? If I
- 15:42Speaker 1: want to get credit card and I want to get
- 15:43Speaker 1: funded in front of my own business, where do how
- 15:45Speaker 1: I get the money?
- 15:46Speaker 4: So in twenty fifteen, right, you said, January, what type
- 15:49Speaker 4: of things are you doing to leverage your credit? At
- 15:51Speaker 4: this point? Are in the beginning.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Now, At the beginning, I was trying to make money, okay,
- 15:55Speaker 1: So that was the business. That was the business that
- 15:57Speaker 1: I had, helping people, showing them how to make money.
- 16:01Speaker 1: So when it came from like I remember working in
- 16:03Speaker 1: the banks helping helping people with it, and they still
- 16:07Speaker 1: couldn't get approved. So then at that point I'm going,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'm looking now, And that's when I started really publicly
- 16:13Speaker 1: helping people versus like you know, when I was working before,
- 16:16Speaker 1: when I'm working in the bank going through all my trials,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I can help people.
- 16:21Speaker 4: But it was quiet.
- 16:22Speaker 1: It wasn't like a marketed company. So now it's out
- 16:26Speaker 1: publicly and I'm working it and it started bringing in
- 16:29Speaker 1: So now I'm going, Okay, this is my business. I'm
- 16:32Speaker 1: making money off of it. I have good credit. Now, okay,
- 16:36Speaker 1: what's the benefits and perks of it? Yeah, that's and
- 16:39Speaker 1: then at that point, that's when I started leveraging it,
- 16:41Speaker 1: like learned about rewards, how to get credit cards, how
- 16:45Speaker 1: to like start credit card stacking and stuff like that.
- 16:48Speaker 3: So all right, let's get into it. Let's get into
- 16:50Speaker 3: the meat and potatoes of what everybody wants to know
- 16:53Speaker 3: this information. So I got questions, I know Troy got
- 16:56Speaker 3: some questions. But one thing, that one thing that we
- 16:59Speaker 3: have I haven't spoken about Alisha yet, and a lot
- 17:02Speaker 3: of people have always asked us to cover it, and
- 17:05Speaker 3: they always ask questions about it. It's tradelines. So I'm
- 17:08Speaker 3: gonna ask you a couple of questions about tradelines. But before,
- 17:11Speaker 3: for people that might not even ever heard of a tradeline,
- 17:14Speaker 3: they don't even know what that is. What is a tradeline?
- 17:17Speaker 1: So a tradeline is essentially an count on your credit report.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So a trade line is any account on your credit
- 17:23Speaker 1: report that reports on your credit. So vehicle the vehicle,
- 17:26Speaker 1: the history of that of the vehicle from when you
- 17:29Speaker 1: open it to when you close it. That's a trade
- 17:32Speaker 1: line on your credit report. So it's any account that
- 17:34Speaker 1: reflects and shows on your credit report.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Okay, so there's like a hack where you can actually
- 17:39Speaker 3: add people to Tradeline.
- 17:41Speaker 1: As to adding people to your card as an authorized user.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So now what happens is this when it comes to
- 17:46Speaker 1: authorized users, And yes, it's a lot of details to
- 17:49Speaker 1: it that you have to understand, and like different applying
- 17:52Speaker 1: when you're applying and you know, getting different things and
- 17:54Speaker 1: the benefits of them.
- 17:55Speaker 4: But essentially what it is is that if.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I got a credit card and I got ten spaces available,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I can add you on to my credit card as
- 18:04Speaker 1: an authorized user.
- 18:05Speaker 4: And this is an authorized user tradeline.
- 18:06Speaker 1: If I add you on as an authorized user and
- 18:08Speaker 1: I have ten spots available, I charge you six to
- 18:12Speaker 1: fifty right, well, six fifty times ten. That's sixty five
- 18:16Speaker 1: hundred dollars. I'm only going to leave you on my
- 18:18Speaker 1: card for sixty days. I never give you access. I
- 18:21Speaker 1: set my account up in a way that you can't
- 18:24Speaker 1: compromise me. Now I make sixty five hundred dollars every
- 18:27Speaker 1: sixty days off on credit card. End of the year,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I make forty thousand dollars off having a credit card,
- 18:33Speaker 1: never going into debt, never actually using and spending the
- 18:36Speaker 1: bank's money.
- 18:38Speaker 3: And that's to help other people build their credit.
- 18:40Speaker 1: That's helping other people build and established because it comes
- 18:43Speaker 1: to data points on a credit card. How many positive
- 18:45Speaker 1: accounts do you have? What's your credit card utilization? All
- 18:48Speaker 1: of these things going to consideration when applying and leveraging
- 18:51Speaker 1: and using your credit. So when those things come into play,
- 18:54Speaker 1: authorized users hit so many points because it gives you accounts,
- 18:57Speaker 1: it gives you age history, it gives you utilization. So
- 19:01Speaker 1: when your utilization everything is right on your credit card.
- 19:04Speaker 1: All of these things reflect on your grown up person's
- 19:06Speaker 1: credit report. Who purchases the authorized user.
- 19:09Speaker 4: So if I'm the person that's the authorized user, do
- 19:11Speaker 4: I get a card or I don't get a card?
- 19:13Speaker 4: You don't get a card because like when I this
- 19:15Speaker 4: is crazy, Like my credit history goes back to thirty
- 19:18Speaker 4: five years, right, I'm thirty eight, but my mom put
- 19:22Speaker 4: an American Express card in my name, so my credit
- 19:25Speaker 4: so like technically I'm an authorized user. So that was
- 19:27Speaker 4: a trade line that she made for me in a sense.
- 19:29Speaker 1: So she gave you a card on her account. Yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 1: so what happened is is that if she gave you
- 19:34Speaker 1: a card on her account, that made you the authorized user,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and then that's what started building your history. But see
- 19:40Speaker 1: what American expressed, They don't report back history, they just
- 19:43Speaker 1: report going forward. So the whole time that you've had
- 19:46Speaker 1: that card and she opened that account up, it's been
- 19:48Speaker 1: on your credit right building out.
- 19:50Speaker 3: So let me ask you this, thanks mom, because.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Yeah, shout out to your mom. Thanks mam.
- 19:56Speaker 3: We have a large listenership in jails and the federal jails,
- 20:03Speaker 3: state jails. It's a very interesting dynamic. I have a
- 20:07Speaker 3: lot of friends, family members, and they always report back
- 20:09Speaker 3: to me and say that EYL is big in jail.
- 20:11Speaker 3: So first of all, shout out to all the guys
- 20:14Speaker 3: in jail, hold your head and all the returning citizens.
- 20:18Speaker 3: So you was giving us some game about information for
- 20:22Speaker 3: that right, as far as like the core logics for
- 20:24Speaker 3: felons and things of that nature.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So now that's a whole nother bar for everybody.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Like listen, I come out of the community. So I've
- 20:35Speaker 1: been a victim of every single side of prison. Right,
- 20:39Speaker 1: Pop's gone for life, Uncle gone, So family members, every
- 20:44Speaker 1: single friend that I grew up with originally from my
- 20:46Speaker 1: neighborhood has went down that path. And I tell people
- 20:51Speaker 1: all the time is that those are some of the
- 20:53Speaker 1: people coming home from prison that trying to get rehabilitated
- 20:58Speaker 1: could be the hardest, like trying to get back in
- 21:01Speaker 1: the community and it's like yo, all doors shut in
- 21:03Speaker 1: your face. So what I tell people is that I
- 21:05Speaker 1: figured out was that core Logic this is what credit learning,
- 21:10Speaker 1: the secondary bureaus, Like most people don't know that secondary
- 21:14Speaker 1: bureaus is what it's some of the companies that verify
- 21:17Speaker 1: your data. So you got companies like Intervis, core Logics, Lexus, Nextus, Sage,
- 21:23Speaker 1: stream Ars. These are all companies that have secondary data
- 21:28Speaker 1: when it comes to your credit. So they're just data
- 21:32Speaker 1: furnishing companies. So when you dispute something, a lot of
- 21:35Speaker 1: times they're the ones who verify it. Well, I found
- 21:37Speaker 1: out that core Logic was the one who verified evictions
- 21:41Speaker 1: and convictions. At that point when I realized that core
- 21:46Speaker 1: Logic is the company that verifies evictions and convictions, I knew.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I said, listen, you mean to tell me that I
- 21:53Speaker 1: can fix somebody's credit, but they still get to denial.
- 21:56Speaker 1: We if I opt out of core logic, if you
- 21:57Speaker 1: got an eviction, you still can get to approval. If
- 22:01Speaker 1: you got a conviction, you can get to approval because
- 22:03Speaker 1: I never gave them permission to share that data and
- 22:05Speaker 1: that information. So now when you go to get an apartment,
- 22:08Speaker 1: now write somebody who's in a position they go listen, well,
- 22:11Speaker 1: I can help people get apartments. So if you understand
- 22:13Speaker 1: how to clean your credit and opt out of the
- 22:16Speaker 1: secondary bureaus, you opt out of core logics. Now you
- 22:19Speaker 1: can go and get an approval for apartment.
- 22:22Speaker 3: But that's a big thing that hold people from getting apartments,
- 22:24Speaker 3: is there yep.
- 22:25Speaker 4: So essentially, like this, I'll break down the whole blueprint.
- 22:28Speaker 1: This is what you're gonna do, is that you're going
- 22:30Speaker 1: to opt out and suppress your core Logics, Lexus, Nexus,
- 22:35Speaker 1: savestream ars in office. You're going to suppress all of those.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Once you suppress those, now you're going to force the
- 22:42Speaker 1: credit bureaus to do an investigation with a six oho
- 22:45Speaker 1: nine letter. So you use a six oh nine dispute
- 22:47Speaker 1: letter when you sit in that six oh nine dispute
- 22:49Speaker 1: letter and it's going to make them either verify that
- 22:52Speaker 1: this account is accurate and verify that it belongs to you. Well,
- 22:57Speaker 1: now since they don't have anybody to check the accurs
- 23:00Speaker 1: he's with, they're gonna now have to do investigation. Most
- 23:03Speaker 1: likely most of the things sixty to seventy times sixties
- 23:06Speaker 1: to seventy percent of the negative items get removed because
- 23:09Speaker 1: you already remove the middleman company who's verifying everything. So
- 23:15Speaker 1: now once you do that, when you go to apply
- 23:17Speaker 1: for apartments, you now can go and apply and if
- 23:20Speaker 1: you've ever been evicted, it's not going to show up
- 23:22Speaker 1: because you suppressed core Logics. And if you got a
- 23:25Speaker 1: felony on your background, it's not going to show up
- 23:27Speaker 1: because you've.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Suppress the chor logic company.
- 23:31Speaker 3: But like, how do you suppress it?
- 23:32Speaker 4: Like you have to what's the time length on the suppression?
- 23:35Speaker 4: Does that happen? So suppress you?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Basically what you do is freeze the report and opt
- 23:39Speaker 1: out of them report sewing, and they do it and
- 23:41Speaker 1: definitely until you opt back in.
- 23:43Speaker 3: So you like call them and say I want to
- 23:44Speaker 3: opt out.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah, so you can call them, you could call or
- 23:47Speaker 1: you can do it online. So if you like Google
- 23:51Speaker 1: like Lexus Nexus opt out. You can Google it and
- 23:54Speaker 1: it'll pop up and take you to the form to
- 23:56Speaker 1: actually opt out of that report.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Good to know. Did you know that, Troy?
- 24:00Speaker 4: I did not know that.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I do not know.
- 24:02Speaker 4: I feel like there's gonna be a lot of things today.
- 24:03Speaker 4: We all go to learn together.
- 24:05Speaker 1: People don't understand listen, right and the community. That's one
- 24:07Speaker 1: of the dope things is that I tell people listen.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's a business in itself.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Right.
- 24:11Speaker 1: We don't know about the secondary bureaus. So you mean
- 24:13Speaker 1: to tell me, I say, listen. You mean to tell
- 24:15Speaker 1: me that there's companies out there that do all this information.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I say, well, listen to one company, Core Logic gives
- 24:21Speaker 1: us a whole business model. Because if I opt out
- 24:25Speaker 1: of that, I can now help people clean their credit.
- 24:28Speaker 1: That's a service. I can now help you get an apartment.
- 24:32Speaker 1: That's a service. I can bundle it together if I want.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But listen, I help you get an apartment. Now what
- 24:37Speaker 1: else do I do? If I know I'm helping people
- 24:39Speaker 1: get into condos? Listen, I'm gonna find that the newest
- 24:41Speaker 1: building that's not fully occupied, and I'm gonna send people there.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Well after three or four people go in and be like, yo,
- 24:46Speaker 1: him five hundred sent me in here to get apartment.
- 24:48Speaker 1: They're gonna kind of get familiar and be wonder who's
- 24:50Speaker 1: in five hundred. And then I show up with gift
- 24:52Speaker 1: cards and trinkets and nice things, and I build a
- 24:55Speaker 1: relationship and I say, hey, listen, Now what I do
- 24:57Speaker 1: is I'm an apartment specialist. I just help people find
- 24:59Speaker 1: apartments and get into the city, especially new condos, things
- 25:02Speaker 1: like this, and just ensure that they can get the
- 25:04Speaker 1: approval when they come. Have my people been getting approved?
- 25:07Speaker 4: Yes?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Cool, boom, nice to meet you. Set this, set the
- 25:11Speaker 1: relationship up. Guess what happens Now I get a referral
- 25:14Speaker 1: fee from the leasing agent. Now I send it directly
- 25:17Speaker 1: to the leasing agent. She's gonna want to get paid
- 25:20Speaker 1: for getting people the least. Well, guess what Now I
- 25:23Speaker 1: get paid for helping people get the apartment from the
- 25:25Speaker 1: leasing agent.
- 25:25Speaker 4: You've been paid four times already. That's three times.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Three times I got paid from the client for helping
- 25:30Speaker 1: them with their credit. I got paid for helping them
- 25:32Speaker 1: get the apartment, making sure everything was approved, make sure
- 25:35Speaker 1: to get the approval. Then I get the referral fee
- 25:38Speaker 1: from the leasing agent. Now I'm pretty much responsible for
- 25:43Speaker 1: helping everybody get apartments in the city.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I become Penthouse Poppy.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Imagine right, right, right, yeah, trademark you right, So I
- 25:52Speaker 1: become Penthouse Poppy. So now I'm I'm in front of
- 25:54Speaker 1: all the fly buildings, right, I'm in front of all
- 25:57Speaker 1: the fly buildings. I'm in the penthouses, in the condos.
- 26:00Speaker 1: But what's the biggest thing when it come to these condos.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Furniture? Right.
- 26:05Speaker 1: So, now a lot of people overlook it and don't
- 26:07Speaker 1: realize furniture has one of the biggest markups. Right, Furniture's
- 26:10Speaker 1: markup is ridiculous. So then I go to one of
- 26:14Speaker 1: the furniture stores, the mom and pop furniture stores in
- 26:16Speaker 1: the area. Guess what they do financing? You can fund,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you can finance furniture.
- 26:20Speaker 4: True.
- 26:21Speaker 1: So now guess what I go and build a relationship. Listen,
- 26:24Speaker 1: what does it take to get ten thousand dollars in furniture? Right,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I need a ten thousand dollars approval. Let me see
- 26:29Speaker 1: what that credit report needs to look like. What does
- 26:31Speaker 1: this need to look like? This approval process. Now, when
- 26:33Speaker 1: I get people apartments, I'm gonna send you to the
- 26:36Speaker 1: local furniture store to now even get the furniture. I'm
- 26:39Speaker 1: not gonna charge you for that. No, I got the relationship.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna charge the furniture store. And hey, listen, Markup
- 26:46Speaker 1: is crazy on this. You probably selling for ten thousand,
- 26:48Speaker 1: you giving them twenty five hundred dollars worth of furniture,
- 26:51Speaker 1: maybe four. I need a seven hundred and fifty dollars
- 26:54Speaker 1: referral fee for every client.
- 26:55Speaker 4: I send it here. But when I go in, you
- 26:57Speaker 4: go in and introduce yourself. Is listen, makeup.
- 26:59Speaker 1: And I'm a part and specialists, right, I specialize in
- 27:02Speaker 1: and I'm an occupancy specialist. Right, I specialize in getting
- 27:06Speaker 1: all the apartments in the area fully occupied or an
- 27:08Speaker 1: occupancy level of ninety five plus percent. They're gonna be confused.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I don't know what that is. But he get people apartments.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I got a list of people that.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Need furniture and terry decorated to you.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Yeah right, yeah, I do interior decorated. So now I
- 27:24Speaker 1: get paid. Now only am I helping you get the apartment.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I'm getting paid from getting you the apartment from the
- 27:29Speaker 1: least an agent. And I'm over here with the furniture
- 27:31Speaker 1: guy and get a kick on the back end, because
- 27:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, hey, listen, your credit is together.
- 27:34Speaker 1: You can go over here and get ten thousand furniture.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Now your condo is furnished. And now you just got
- 27:40Speaker 1: paid four times. Now you get paid four times. That's Penhouse, Poppy.
- 27:43Speaker 1: That's a business for anybody that's listening. It don't matter
- 27:46Speaker 1: what your background is, it don't matter.
- 27:47Speaker 4: It all started from you just suppressing one thing so
- 27:50Speaker 4: somebody could be approved.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Literally, that's that's realistically. I used to run that company
- 27:56Speaker 1: and that's where it started from. That's literally how that
- 27:58Speaker 1: business started.
- 27:58Speaker 3: You know what.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Derek Grace, Yeah, I don't know him personally, but online
- 28:02Speaker 1: see him.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Uh, that's that's our guy, good friend of ours. He posted,
- 28:07Speaker 3: I mean, he posted a post of yours and he
- 28:10Speaker 3: was like, I don't know bro, but he dangerous.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Yeah listen, I'm gonna tell you.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, right, I watched Bro posts and
- 28:18Speaker 1: and and I and I look and I be like, boy,
- 28:20Speaker 1: he we we do different stuff, right, But I said, yo,
- 28:25Speaker 1: he he give it up?
- 28:26Speaker 4: Like he not?
- 28:27Speaker 1: He not capping on nothing. He says, like even from
- 28:30Speaker 1: you know, I look, I don't care.
- 28:32Speaker 4: I'm wearing diamonds.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, but you know, even with the
- 28:39Speaker 1: gold game man like bro Vicious, Now it's much respect.
- 28:42Speaker 3: When he said that that was real, he actually got
- 28:45Speaker 3: my attention with that. I'm like, nah, it's Dode is
- 28:47Speaker 3: dangerous man, He's dangerous. Like it's a lot of your
- 28:51Speaker 3: information is the most important thing in the world, like
- 28:54Speaker 3: because it's like there's so much stuff that you can
- 28:56Speaker 3: just change your whole, your whole life, your whole your
- 28:58Speaker 3: whole generation with just a few vital pieces of information.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It's all to take, and it's so many of us
- 29:05Speaker 1: out here leading away giving it up to us and
- 29:08Speaker 1: giving the information of to really see how people could
- 29:10Speaker 1: change their life. Like I just laid out, like we're
- 29:12Speaker 1: on a public podcast, and I just gave out a
- 29:14Speaker 1: whole business plan off of leveraging one piece of information
- 29:17Speaker 1: before that, I gave a blueprint.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I hope they take notes, like, listen.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm giving you. I gave the blueprint. This is how
- 29:23Speaker 1: you clean your credit after I use a six or
- 29:26Speaker 1: nine letter. Get familiar with companies like CFPB. This is
- 29:30Speaker 1: the companies that regulate the credit bureaus. These are things
- 29:32Speaker 1: that we need to know information that we need and
- 29:35Speaker 1: I'm looking now when I go, we start looking, and
- 29:38Speaker 1: so many lives. It's changing off of information.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Yes, it's a lot.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Let me ask you. Let me ask you another question.
- 29:45Speaker 3: You got an interesting thing when you said that turn
- 29:47Speaker 3: a liability into an asset, And that really struck my
- 29:51Speaker 3: attention because it's, like you said, we've been programmed so
- 29:53Speaker 3: long to think that everything is liability on a certain level,
- 29:59Speaker 3: like that an asset, traditional assets like cars for instance. Right,
- 30:03Speaker 3: it's like no matter Like we did a video about
- 30:05Speaker 3: how to like put your car in your business name
- 30:07Speaker 3: and take the deduction and all that, and a lot
- 30:09Speaker 3: of people was like that. I didn't know any But
- 30:11Speaker 3: then there was always some skeptics like, well it's still
- 30:13Speaker 3: a liability. You still wasting money on it. Well you
- 30:15Speaker 3: broke down something, and that was kind of crazy. You
- 30:18Speaker 3: got my attention to how you can actually turn make
- 30:21Speaker 3: money with the car, like running ads and can you
- 30:25Speaker 3: talk about that logit?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah, So when it comes to that, one of the
- 30:28Speaker 1: things is that, look, I it's fraying and it probably
- 30:32Speaker 1: rub people the wrong way. Cars are liabilities, right, that's
- 30:37Speaker 1: a nineteenth century mindset, right, Take that back. That's in
- 30:42Speaker 1: the nineties and the eighties that that mindset exists. It's
- 30:45Speaker 1: not relevant now. Only people that that's relevant to is
- 30:48Speaker 1: people who won't acquire new information and don't stay up
- 30:50Speaker 1: to date with systems, right, because it's no way that
- 30:52Speaker 1: you can look at a vehicle unless you just don't
- 30:54Speaker 1: have the information. I got friends that make six figures
- 30:58Speaker 1: off of vehicles. No way you're gonna tell me that
- 31:01Speaker 1: that's a liability. It's a liability if we don't utilize it. Right.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So then I started telling people, I say, listen, you
- 31:06Speaker 1: won't you want to learn? Okay, here, let's take a car,
- 31:08Speaker 1: like a smart car.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I went and found the littlest car, right, littlest car
- 31:13Speaker 1: that nobody wants. When I tell you, right, it's the
- 31:16Speaker 1: smart car for two right, Listen to me.
- 31:19Speaker 4: I didn't think it was yours when I saw it, Right,
- 31:20Speaker 4: I did. That's all you driving?
- 31:21Speaker 1: I say, yeah, right, and I'm like yo, Like I
- 31:24Speaker 1: put music in and everything got beat.
- 31:26Speaker 4: I'm like, listen.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Funny thing is that I bought a smart car, and
- 31:29Speaker 1: then not only so, I bought a smart car. I
- 31:32Speaker 1: tell people, listen, let me explain something to you. I
- 31:34Speaker 1: got the smart car. And this is what I teach
- 31:36Speaker 1: people as well. I say, look, you can go to
- 31:38Speaker 1: a swap police and literally do a least takeover, put
- 31:41Speaker 1: no money down out of pocket. Get a car that
- 31:44Speaker 1: costs two hundred dollars a month. This vehicle costs two
- 31:46Speaker 1: hundred dollars a month. Now what happens next? Since this
- 31:49Speaker 1: vehicle costs two hundred dollars a month, I say, he listen,
- 31:51Speaker 1: early leisure. I got a car that's gonna be in
- 31:54Speaker 1: in downtown Metro Atlanta twelve hours a day. It'll probably
- 31:57Speaker 1: get exposed to about twenty thirty thousand people a month.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Give me two hundred bucks. I want to put earn
- 32:02Speaker 1: your leisure on the left side in your company promotion.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Is that something that you'll be okay with? Will do it?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Sold lights? Right?
- 32:12Speaker 4: That's that's light. Okay.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Well, guess what I'm gonna get somebody else to put
- 32:17Speaker 1: their business on the on the right side. I'm gonna
- 32:20Speaker 1: get another business to put their business on the back
- 32:22Speaker 1: of the door, on the back of the vehicle.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I now make six hundred bucks off of two hundred
- 32:27Speaker 1: dollars liability. Then I say, say, well, how you gonna
- 32:33Speaker 1: keep it in the Metro Atlanta for twelve hours a day.
- 32:36Speaker 1: You're gonna drive it. No, I'm gonna go and hire
- 32:39Speaker 1: somebody to drive it. So now I'm gonna, well, I'm
- 32:41Speaker 1: gonna rent the car out to somebody who want to
- 32:43Speaker 1: drive for Uber Eats, grub Hub, door Dash, one of
- 32:46Speaker 1: the grocery delivery services. Look, give me one fifty a week.
- 32:50Speaker 1: You don't pay gas or insurance. You give me one
- 32:53Speaker 1: fifty a week, and you use the vehicle. Now I
- 32:56Speaker 1: got and you use the car six hours a day.
- 32:58Speaker 1: You got options, you got access to six hours a day,
- 33:01Speaker 1: seven days a week.
- 33:03Speaker 4: That's one person. I do two people.
- 33:05Speaker 1: So now that's twelve hours. That's the twelve hour shift
- 33:08Speaker 1: in the day. That's two people paying me one fifty
- 33:11Speaker 1: one fifty a week. That's three hundred dollars. That's twelve
- 33:14Speaker 1: hundred dollars a month. So now making twelve hundred dollars
- 33:17Speaker 1: a month off the drivers, six hundred off the advertisement,
- 33:20Speaker 1: that's eighteen hundred dollars a month. Sixteen hundred of that
- 33:23Speaker 1: is profit. I'm making sixteen hundred dollars profit off of
- 33:27Speaker 1: one vehicle that they said was a liability. If I
- 33:31Speaker 1: got two cars. I'm thirty two hundred dollars to the
- 33:33Speaker 1: good every month to the good, thirty two hundred dollars
- 33:37Speaker 1: a month straight cash on.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Me what it's one of the best things I've heard
- 33:40Speaker 4: you say, Man, mindset is the only liability.
- 33:42Speaker 1: It's and now you make thirty two hundreds a month.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Imagine this. What's your background need to be? What do
- 33:49Speaker 1: you need a degree in? That's thirty two hundred dollars
- 33:51Speaker 1: a month paying for a vehicle. Now, if you really
- 33:54Speaker 1: get tricky and you understand is that then you go, well,
- 33:56Speaker 1: it's the other cars out there, and you can look
- 33:58Speaker 1: up it's websites that attack and say, hey, look, these
- 34:00Speaker 1: cards perform the best on touro. Right, you can literally
- 34:03Speaker 1: get one of those cards and then make it pay
- 34:05Speaker 1: for your other ones, or you just use it as income.
- 34:10Speaker 1: You come home and you're like, yo, I got my
- 34:11Speaker 1: credit together, but I don't know what to do with it.
- 34:13Speaker 4: How do I turn my credit to cash?
- 34:15Speaker 1: That's one of the credit to cash strategies is actually
- 34:17Speaker 1: learning how to execute and learn systems.
- 34:20Speaker 4: All right, So I want to talk about something that
- 34:23Speaker 4: was a whole lot of game what you're known for,
- 34:25Speaker 4: and that's turning credit into cash. Most people, when we
- 34:29Speaker 4: think credit cards and how we get cash on it,
- 34:31Speaker 4: it's like, hell, if we get a cash advance, then
- 34:33Speaker 4: we can take money out from it. Yeah, but your
- 34:35Speaker 4: strategy has no cash advance and it stills liquid and
- 34:39Speaker 4: can you break that down? So it's a little bit different.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Like it's a whole bunch of different ways, right when
- 34:43Speaker 1: it come to like turning credit to cash. And I
- 34:47Speaker 1: tell people one you don't ever want to do. If
- 34:49Speaker 1: you had to pull money out doing a cash advance,
- 34:51Speaker 1: they're going to charge you more and they hit you
- 34:53Speaker 1: with extra fees and a higher percentage. So I tell
- 34:55Speaker 1: people kind of stay away from the cash advances. But
- 34:57Speaker 1: I do things like it's just ways to generate cash.
- 35:00Speaker 1: That's like my mindset is entrepreneur at all time. So
- 35:02Speaker 1: like I tell people do things like you know, knowing
- 35:05Speaker 1: which credit cards to use to do certain things. For example,
- 35:10Speaker 1: if I go and run ads, right, like I could
- 35:14Speaker 1: run ads, and when I run ads, I can run
- 35:17Speaker 1: ads and generate income back. But if I wanted to
- 35:20Speaker 1: like pull money off, like what you just said, something
- 35:22Speaker 1: like you just said, like trying to pull money off
- 35:23Speaker 1: without doing a cash advans fee One of the things
- 35:26Speaker 1: that we used to do for fun is like I
- 35:28Speaker 1: would go on a cruise and because when I go
- 35:30Speaker 1: on a cruise ship, guess what happens on a cruise
- 35:32Speaker 1: ship is that they give you the debit card the
- 35:36Speaker 1: room key. So when I go on a cruise ship
- 35:38Speaker 1: and use the room key, I would just go to
- 35:40Speaker 1: the casino and get twenty thirty thousand chips and get
- 35:44Speaker 1: a cashier check and go home. I just pulled my
- 35:48Speaker 1: money off my credit card, and I got reward points
- 35:50Speaker 1: because I was on a cruise ship. So since you're
- 35:52Speaker 1: on a cruise ship, you get five points per dollar.
- 35:55Speaker 1: So since I'm on a cruise ship, I get five
- 35:57Speaker 1: points per dollar. I literally got chips. With the room key,
- 36:00Speaker 1: I can max every card of if I wanted to
- 36:02Speaker 1: and go home with the cashiers check if I needed
- 36:04Speaker 1: to use it to invest whatever I needed to do,
- 36:06Speaker 1: and I still accumulated the reward points. So if I
- 36:08Speaker 1: need to go buy a house, I literally can go
- 36:10Speaker 1: on a cruise three days for two hundred bucks, go
- 36:12Speaker 1: pull off fifty thousand, come home with cashier checks, and
- 36:16Speaker 1: go do my investment.
- 36:17Speaker 4: But you sold you. This guy is name, So when
- 36:22Speaker 4: you take the twenty, no Joe. So when you take
- 36:24Speaker 4: the twenty, you are paying the twenty back, but you
- 36:27Speaker 4: are redeeming the rewards.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Points that come with spending that amount of money. You
- 36:31Speaker 1: can keep the reward points. That's the perks and benefits
- 36:33Speaker 1: of having credit. And that's one of the main perks
- 36:35Speaker 1: and benefits of having credit I tell people is that
- 36:38Speaker 1: credit cards versus debit cards is that you spend your cash,
- 36:41Speaker 1: you get nothing back. You don't get big interest from
- 36:44Speaker 1: letting it sit in the bank. Right, But how do
- 36:46Speaker 1: we actually use the bank for a benefit? What do
- 36:49Speaker 1: we get from the bank? And one of the things
- 36:51Speaker 1: is that why they incentivized it was the reward points.
- 36:54Speaker 1: But a lot of people in our community don't have
- 36:56Speaker 1: that information and know how to use the incentives that
- 36:59Speaker 1: they give us.
- 37:00Speaker 4: We don't even do the research. The research. I feel
- 37:02Speaker 4: like like that's like the fine line, Like nobody's reading
- 37:06Speaker 4: the fine line, Like, yo, you get this these? I
- 37:08Speaker 4: mean the most we ever look at. It's like, yo,
- 37:09Speaker 4: can we get airplane rewards or airport awards and hotel rewards?
- 37:14Speaker 4: But there's so many other things like that.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You can actually be using this for yo. Listen, Right,
- 37:20Speaker 1: is that one of the key things is this right.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Today.
- 37:24Speaker 1: You know I got on recession proof, right, But I'm
- 37:27Speaker 1: an advocate of my community. I'm advocated where I come from.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Some people will be like, yo, it's eight in y'all,
- 37:32Speaker 1: we shouldn't wear designer clothes. We shouldn't do this and
- 37:35Speaker 1: do that. Wear support black, own whatever it is, whatever
- 37:39Speaker 1: you want to wear where naturally you know, things that's
- 37:42Speaker 1: made from natural products, not cotton. I like wearing nice
- 37:48Speaker 1: clothes Louis vu Tom FINDI right now some of my
- 37:51Speaker 1: favorite dre But I know everybody, a lot of people
- 37:55Speaker 1: in the community, this is what they're after. These the
- 37:57Speaker 1: things that they desire to wear because it gets a status, right.
- 38:00Speaker 1: It's kind of a sense of status, and I'll keep
- 38:02Speaker 1: it a buck it is. It's a sense of status
- 38:04Speaker 1: that people want something that costs more, something that's extra
- 38:06Speaker 1: fly and make it separate. We got people growing up
- 38:09Speaker 1: that in the kids that don't know how to actually
- 38:14Speaker 1: go and get it without doing something illegal. Right, So
- 38:18Speaker 1: they going selling drugs and robbing people for these designer
- 38:21Speaker 1: clothes because nobody told them that, Hey, listen, you can
- 38:23Speaker 1: actually be an entrepreneur and learn business for you could
- 38:25Speaker 1: leverage credit and get it for free. So what I
- 38:28Speaker 1: did was this, I started going and don't I don't
- 38:32Speaker 1: want to spend my money on stuff. I'm cheap, right,
- 38:33Speaker 1: I really don't like spending my money. So when I
- 38:36Speaker 1: get designer clothes, I get it for free. I'm not
- 38:38Speaker 1: going to spend cash. So in order for me to
- 38:40Speaker 1: get designer clothes, I say, listen, I can run up
- 38:42Speaker 1: my reward points and then redeem the transaction. So when
- 38:48Speaker 1: I go, like I went and went to Louis Vuitton,
- 38:51Speaker 1: spent six thousand, right like, sixty five hundred dollars in
- 38:54Speaker 1: Louis Vuitton, and I literally redeem my reward points to
- 38:57Speaker 1: cover it. How do you get the reward points? People
- 39:00Speaker 1: don't know. It's the benefits of a credit card. Like
- 39:02Speaker 1: you said, your gold American Express card alone gives you
- 39:06Speaker 1: four to five points per dollar, four to five points
- 39:09Speaker 1: per dollar every dollar you spend on running ads. So
- 39:14Speaker 1: you mean to tell me you're gonna incentivize me making
- 39:18Speaker 1: money with your money. Here's one hundred thousand dollars credit card.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Go run and spend it. Run ads to market your
- 39:28Speaker 1: business and get in front of people. And I'm gonna
- 39:30Speaker 1: give you rewards for using my money. I ran one
- 39:35Speaker 1: hundred thousand ads may had a million dollar money on
- 39:41Speaker 1: the back end. They gave me seventy five hundred.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Can we not let that just go over everybody's We're
- 39:48Speaker 4: just I mean, congrats to you for that.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Nah, I appreciate it. I appreciate it. But that is
- 39:57Speaker 1: is that even with that, I'm gonna stay on that power.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And nobody can say it's not powering a black dollar, right,
- 40:04Speaker 1: because that is the black dollar. These are things that
- 40:06Speaker 1: are in services and the community. I built for our community,
- 40:09Speaker 1: and so this is our money circulating within our community.
- 40:13Speaker 1: But I literally this is the point, is that the
- 40:15Speaker 1: information I literally ran off my amex goal, spent one
- 40:19Speaker 1: hundred thousand, wrung back a million, and then got close
- 40:26Speaker 1: to like nine thousand reward points. So then I redeemed
- 40:29Speaker 1: it and went shopping at Louis spent six thousand.
- 40:32Speaker 4: So when are you redeeming it? Are you getting a
- 40:34Speaker 4: gift card to the store, Like, are you getting like
- 40:36Speaker 4: a SAX card or how's that work? Well?
- 40:38Speaker 1: No, I literally went shopping. Swipe my card. When I
- 40:41Speaker 1: go shopping and swipe the card, I literally go in
- 40:44Speaker 1: and you can go into the reward the membership site
- 40:47Speaker 1: and you just go, hey, redeem purchase. So you just
- 40:49Speaker 1: redeem the points to cover the purchase the transaction that
- 40:52Speaker 1: you made and it covered, gotcha.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Yeah. And the good thing is you can use that
- 40:55Speaker 3: for variety of different things like travel anything. So it's
- 40:58Speaker 3: like you're not paying for like you SA. I mean,
- 41:00Speaker 3: it's like anything that you do. And that's I'm glad
- 41:03Speaker 3: you said that because it's like I feel like it's
- 41:04Speaker 3: financial literacy teachers. It's our job to do things responsible.
- 41:09Speaker 3: So like even when we got our cars, me, Matt
- 41:12Speaker 3: and Troy, we got raped.

- 44:03Speaker 3: Thank rovers. But we made a video and in what
- 44:05Speaker 3: like semi viral, but I put it in there like
- 44:08Speaker 3: don't think that we just did this irresponsibly. And then
- 44:11Speaker 3: we made like a whole video like explaining like how
- 44:14Speaker 3: you can actually put your car in your business name
- 44:16Speaker 3: and take a deduction and all of that. So it's
- 44:17Speaker 3: like when people see you with you know, these designer
- 44:20Speaker 3: clothes on, it's not like he's just getting money and
- 44:23Speaker 3: just spending it on that. Technically, it didn't really cost
- 44:26Speaker 3: you anything because you're paying for it with reward points.
- 44:30Speaker 3: You reinvested your money into your business, which grossed more money,
- 44:34Speaker 3: but you didn't even take the profit of that. You
- 44:36Speaker 3: just used the reward points to pay for that.
- 44:39Speaker 1: And I ain't even reinvest my money in my business.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna use their money again next month to make
- 44:43Speaker 1: more money.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because the credit credit.
- 44:46Speaker 4: I use my money go buy stuff. I think the
- 44:48Speaker 4: best part is what you said is like, y'all, chief,
- 44:51Speaker 4: I don't like spending my money. I'm buying that. I'm buying.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm in the middle right now buying a bank one
- 44:57Speaker 1: point five million. I'm buying a bank in the sense
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm buying the land.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Talk about that, talking about that break.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Right, yeah, listen, right, So right now I'm in negotiations
- 45:08Speaker 1: of buying a piece of land that a bank happens
- 45:11Speaker 1: to sit on, a sun Trust bank.
- 45:13Speaker 4: They have a twelve year lease in Georgia. Yeah, in Georgia.
- 45:16Speaker 1: And they're then the amount they pay is about one
- 45:21Speaker 1: twenty a year. They pay one twenty a year on
- 45:24Speaker 1: the lease. They got a twelve year lease. The property
- 45:26Speaker 1: is like one point five. I'm trying to give them
- 45:28Speaker 1: one point five for the land. Now I own that
- 45:31Speaker 1: they have a twelve year lease, meaning and a bare
- 45:33Speaker 1: minimum locking of eight years. So for the next eight years,
- 45:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna make one point two I mean one hundred
- 45:42Speaker 1: and twenty five thousand a year. That's a hell of
- 45:47Speaker 1: a salary off on the land on the bank. And
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm still right. This is reinvest This where I put
- 45:54Speaker 1: my money at instead of putting it into like yo,
- 45:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna go buy a designer clothes. Now I'm gonna
- 45:59Speaker 1: keep acquiring land, keep acquiring property and really build and
- 46:03Speaker 1: learning what to do with money and learning how to
- 46:05Speaker 1: play real estate. So now I got a long term
- 46:08Speaker 1: hold at least now it's a bank there, I got
- 46:11Speaker 1: a long term play for the next eight to ten years.
- 46:13Speaker 1: That money now just goes back into that can go
- 46:16Speaker 1: and invest into it with my daughter. And now, you know,
- 46:18Speaker 1: especially when you can play with money, y'all get so
- 46:20Speaker 1: many people in here that teach us how to save
- 46:23Speaker 1: money and invest it and let the interest compound. You
- 46:25Speaker 1: imagine having one hundred and twenty five thousand coming in
- 46:27Speaker 1: every year compounding for the next eight years to twelve years.
- 46:31Speaker 3: We'll ask you this as far as the credit, because
- 46:34Speaker 3: you're using your AMEX to run the ads, how did
- 46:39Speaker 3: you get the like how did you get your first
- 46:41Speaker 3: business credit card? Or you're using your personal credit card
- 46:43Speaker 3: or is that through the business credit card?
- 46:45Speaker 4: Business?
- 46:45Speaker 1: But it started Everything starts like business credit is super sexy,
- 46:49Speaker 1: is everybody want to talk about business credit? But it
- 46:52Speaker 1: all starts with your personal So my personal credit report
- 46:56Speaker 1: was structured properly and I was a PG. So I
- 46:59Speaker 1: did a personal get tour, put my social on the line,
- 47:03Speaker 1: put in my business name, and then that's how how
- 47:05Speaker 1: you're doing I just kept building.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Just kept doing it, like that same thing with the
- 47:08Speaker 3: personal like the same way you build personal credit. You
- 47:11Speaker 3: just build it that way. Yeah, could history pay your
- 47:13Speaker 3: bills on time.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Getting your net thirties, net sixties, different things on it.
- 47:17Speaker 1: But my main goal, like where I really focused that
- 47:20Speaker 1: was all on the personal side.
- 47:22Speaker 3: So what was the first limit? You remember, like the
- 47:24Speaker 3: first limit that you got on your business credit like
- 47:26Speaker 3: a small with a small amount.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Yeah, but oh business or personal business on the business side,
- 47:31Speaker 1: first limit, Nah, that first limit wasn't That first limit
- 47:34Speaker 1: was nasty.
- 47:35Speaker 4: It was like thirty thousand.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Then we started getting you already established it from the personal.
- 47:40Speaker 4: Yeah, not my ea.
- 47:41Speaker 3: So as long as your personal is good, you should
- 47:43Speaker 3: be able to get a substantial amount of business.
- 47:45Speaker 4: You just Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 1: The thing is that That's why I tell people work
- 47:47Speaker 1: your personal because then once you work your personal credit,
- 47:51Speaker 1: once you work that personal side, when you go to
- 47:53Speaker 1: get business credit, you're going to get double on trip
- 47:55Speaker 1: of your limits from what you have on the personal.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So if you work this, get these large, let them season.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Let your personal card season.
- 48:03Speaker 4: And grow those.
- 48:04Speaker 1: When you go to apply for business you should you
- 48:06Speaker 1: shouldn't be going getting a ten thousand dollar business credit card.
- 48:09Speaker 3: So you have multiple because like they say, personal cards,
- 48:11Speaker 3: you shouldn't have like more than like three or four.
- 48:14Speaker 3: Like does that matter with business.
- 48:15Speaker 4: Or business is a little bit.
- 48:18Speaker 1: Business is different because business doesn't report on your credit.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Some do, like Capital one. Don't get that one if
- 48:26Speaker 1: you don't want to show on your credit report. That's
- 48:28Speaker 1: one of the business cards that show but my thing
- 48:31Speaker 1: is that I show I specialize in like personal side.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I got a sequence I learned how to do and
- 48:36Speaker 1: go get fifteen personal credit cards with only like five inquiries.
- 48:41Speaker 4: I need to ask you that, but before I want
- 48:43Speaker 4: the explanation on that. But while you're saying this, and like,
- 48:47Speaker 4: how does one grow the limits on their credit cards?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Right?
- 48:50Speaker 4: Because like sometimes like you can have a credit card,
- 48:52Speaker 4: you pay it off, and like you actually have to
- 48:54Speaker 4: go in and try to increase it. But sometimes there
- 48:56Speaker 4: will be a situation where the company will say we've
- 49:01Speaker 4: increased it because of your good standing. Is there a
- 49:03Speaker 4: strategy to grow it? To double it and triple it?
- 49:06Speaker 1: So when it comes to growing your credit cards, like
- 49:09Speaker 1: I tell people that you want to put everything on them,
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'll take like, if you're gonna work credit cards, take
- 49:14Speaker 1: a few of them, like because I teach how to
- 49:15Speaker 1: get massive amounts. But if you only have a few,
- 49:18Speaker 1: what you want to do is put everything. You should
- 49:20Speaker 1: never use a debit card, right, And this is the
- 49:22Speaker 1: example I tell people. I say, listen, if if you're
- 49:26Speaker 1: walking down a dark alley with ten thousand in your
- 49:29Speaker 1: pocket where they robbing people at who money you want
- 49:32Speaker 1: in your pocket yours or mine, it's yours exactly. So
- 49:39Speaker 1: every day you go out and you swiping your debit
- 49:42Speaker 1: card with your heart o money, your hard earned money versus,
- 49:47Speaker 1: and you put it at risk. We all know how
- 49:49Speaker 1: fraud and how high it is now, right, So every
- 49:53Speaker 1: day when you go out and you're using your debit
- 49:55Speaker 1: card and you're putting it online and you're making purchases,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you're putting your money at risk. So when you put
- 50:01Speaker 1: your money at risk, why would instead of put everything
- 50:04Speaker 1: on your debit card, I mean on your credit card,
- 50:07Speaker 1: put everything that you spend on a credit card and
- 50:10Speaker 1: pay it off, not go buy and buy whatever you
- 50:13Speaker 1: want the money that you would have spent out of
- 50:15Speaker 1: your debit. Then you pay your credit card back off,
- 50:18Speaker 1: pay your credit card bill a few days early, two
- 50:20Speaker 1: three days early, but pay your credit card back off.
- 50:24Speaker 1: And not only are you leveraging and putting somebody else's
- 50:27Speaker 1: money at risk, you also get incentivized for using it.
- 50:31Speaker 1: So everything that you spend should automatically run off of
- 50:36Speaker 1: an actual credit card. I run everything that I spend
- 50:38Speaker 1: off a credit card, and so that decision increases it.
- 50:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, when you keep.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Maxing it out, like if you can figure out depending
- 50:46Speaker 1: on what you're doing. Like with me, we'll run it
- 50:48Speaker 1: ass Like I specialize with really helping entrepreneurs, Like we
- 50:51Speaker 1: all have to learn how to make money ourselves. How
- 50:54Speaker 1: do we turn our credit to cash? How do we
- 50:55Speaker 1: grow our businesses? So if we're going to use and
- 50:58Speaker 1: grow a business, I'm gonna use my car. So like
- 51:00Speaker 1: I max my card out on ads, right, I'm Facebook ads,
- 51:04Speaker 1: Facebook ads, things like that.
- 51:06Speaker 4: I also built a relationship. Man, y'all got me talking.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Don't worry, no one's listening.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I built a relationship. I built a relationship with a
- 51:16Speaker 1: guy at a watch store, and he would resell watches, right,
- 51:21Speaker 1: So he had the opportunity. He was like, Yo, you
- 51:24Speaker 1: know it only takes me about seven or fourteen days
- 51:26Speaker 1: to resell a watch. People come in all the time,
- 51:29Speaker 1: trade in. You know, you get hit when you go
- 51:31Speaker 1: to trade to watch it, so they're not going to
- 51:33Speaker 1: give you full value. Well, he says, listen, if we
- 51:36Speaker 1: buy it the same night, I can get it for
- 51:38Speaker 1: what they paid before my store puts it online and
- 51:41Speaker 1: puts it in the system. We can buy it for
- 51:43Speaker 1: the same price. So what we would do is literally
- 51:45Speaker 1: I gave him I let him hold one of my platinums.
- 51:48Speaker 1: He would buy the watch when it came in at night,
- 51:52Speaker 1: resell it because for the value of it. He already
- 51:55Speaker 1: was known for selling watches. He reseller for the value.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I'm getting credit on my credit card for how much
- 52:01Speaker 1: to watch costs. We started with twelve thousand, We didn't,
- 52:03Speaker 1: did sixty thousand, we didn't did fourteen's twenty fours, and
- 52:07Speaker 1: literally built it out, max in the card out. Now
- 52:10Speaker 1: my credit card on like that platinum I got. It's
- 52:13Speaker 1: two hundred thousand a limit, sure, but it's just information
- 52:17Speaker 1: and being able to seize the opportunity. And you know,
- 52:19Speaker 1: that was one of the things we had a good
- 52:20Speaker 1: relationship and trust coming to play. That ain't something you
- 52:23Speaker 1: can people can duplicate. So I don't really speak on
- 52:25Speaker 1: that a lot because that's not something you can duplicate.
- 52:28Speaker 1: But it's just things that happen.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Just knowing.
- 52:32Speaker 4: So let's go back a little bit. So how do
- 52:34Speaker 4: we acquire the multiple cards without having so many inquiries?
- 52:38Speaker 4: Because that's I mean, I do anything and it's like
- 52:41Speaker 4: you've got an alert. I'm like, yeah, is that man?
- 52:48Speaker 1: So so no, look we here, man, it's really for
- 52:58Speaker 1: the coach.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Hey, listen, I'm gonna tell y'all. Listen, I'm gonna be
- 53:03Speaker 4: telling people, right. Yeah, so, but no, it's one of
- 53:09Speaker 4: the greatest.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 1: So what we do is that we gotta understand, right,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna break it down to yalls that we got
- 53:16Speaker 1: to understand that banks have rules.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:18Speaker 1: I remember going to people. I'm not gonna hold you.
- 53:20Speaker 1: I remember going and I was I was in credit
- 53:22Speaker 1: and I was getting good and I'm going try and
- 53:24Speaker 1: figure out how they do funding because I'm like, yo,
- 53:26Speaker 1: I don't believe in no man fishing for me, right,
- 53:30Speaker 1: You're not gonna go and fish for me. I want
- 53:32Speaker 1: to learn how to fish myself, so I wouldn't pay
- 53:34Speaker 1: anybody to get me funded. So I'm not gonna go
- 53:37Speaker 1: and say, hey, let me go to Rashad so he
- 53:38Speaker 1: can get me funded, and I'm gonna give him ten percent.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:41Speaker 1: A lot of people are okay with it because they're lazy,
- 53:44Speaker 1: they don't want to they don't have that drive. My
- 53:46Speaker 1: thing is that I need to know it because I
- 53:48Speaker 1: need to be able to make adjustments and help other people.
- 53:51Speaker 1: Put my other family on. Were not often to come
- 53:53Speaker 1: and give you ten percent. So I remember running through
- 53:58Speaker 1: a sequence and figuring out. I'm like, how do I
- 54:01Speaker 1: do it? And I try to apply for credit cards
- 54:04Speaker 1: and they all got to not I'm like something wrong.
- 54:09Speaker 1: So I'm like, okay, do more research because you can't
- 54:11Speaker 1: just apply for credit cards.
- 54:12Speaker 4: So I go okay.
- 54:14Speaker 1: So over time i'm and I apologize. My family might
- 54:18Speaker 1: feel some kind of way. I torched so many credit reports,
- 54:21Speaker 1: like yo, I'm telling you they had increaes, Like my
- 54:23Speaker 1: wife at one point had like twenty four inquiries. I
- 54:25Speaker 1: was trying to figure it out, right like moms, brothers, right,
- 54:30Speaker 1: everybody had it like everybody. One of my cousins is
- 54:33Speaker 1: the ones who when we figured it out with he
- 54:35Speaker 1: got the move. But I started learning that banks have rules.
- 54:41Speaker 1: A lot of people are familiar that Chase has a
- 54:43Speaker 1: five to twenty four rule. You can't get more than
- 54:45Speaker 1: five credit cards with Chase in twenty four months, right,
- 54:48Speaker 1: and so okay, okay, get it. So then I started researching,
- 54:52Speaker 1: and then you got banks like Bank of America that
- 54:55Speaker 1: has a.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Two three four rule.
- 54:56Speaker 1: You can get two credit cards every three months, three
- 55:00Speaker 1: credit cards in a year, four credit cards total. Okay,
- 55:05Speaker 1: that's their rule. But they don't worry about if you
- 55:08Speaker 1: get credit cards from other banks. So I started learning
- 55:12Speaker 1: the rules. Barclays has a rule you can get one
- 55:14Speaker 1: credit card every day, so it excites people. But the
- 55:20Speaker 1: cold part is The exciting part was the fact that
- 55:22Speaker 1: Bank of America will let you get two credit cards
- 55:24Speaker 1: every three months. But the two credit cards that you
- 55:27Speaker 1: can get every three months you can get the same day.
- 55:31Speaker 1: If you get them at the same time, you get
- 55:33Speaker 1: them on the same inquiry, you get one inquiry to
- 55:35Speaker 1: credit cards. See Barclays ain't that great yet? One credit
- 55:40Speaker 1: card every day, I can only get one because I
- 55:42Speaker 1: can't come back tomorrow. Once these inquiries hit, I'm done,
- 55:46Speaker 1: can't come back right. So this is when I started
- 55:49Speaker 1: learning how to stack my credit card applications together. Then
- 55:53Speaker 1: you have to understand is that listen every bank see
- 55:56Speaker 1: a lot of people get their credit together and the
- 55:58Speaker 1: dream credit cards American Express.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Listen to me.
- 56:03Speaker 1: American Express goes last before discover the reason being they're
- 56:08Speaker 1: not strict on inquiries. They're strict on new accounts. So
- 56:11Speaker 1: if you don't have any new accounts within the last
- 56:12Speaker 1: six months, I can get you approved for American Express
- 56:15Speaker 1: with eighteen inquiries. This is where you want to be
- 56:18Speaker 1: at is you want to look and go amex Chase.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You put them last. They're not super strict on inquiries,
- 56:26Speaker 1: and you have to understand with them is that they're
- 56:30Speaker 1: going to come. And the reason they're not strict on
- 56:32Speaker 1: inquiries is because they're going to do more of their
- 56:34Speaker 1: verification and underwriting on the back end. You got companies
- 56:38Speaker 1: like Barclays, Alliant, Davy, they do their underwriting on the
- 56:44Speaker 1: front So if anybody like most of the time, when
- 56:46Speaker 1: you get approval from Barclays, it may take you forty
- 56:50Speaker 1: eight hours, and it takes you forty eight hours because
- 56:53Speaker 1: they're doing their underwriting on the front side. They don't
- 56:55Speaker 1: go through. They may hit you and ask you for
- 56:59Speaker 1: verification documents income prove your income. They may hit you
- 57:02Speaker 1: with that cool Chase is gonna hit you with a
- 57:06Speaker 1: soft pool.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Later.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Let your credit card utilization start going out of whack,
- 57:10Speaker 1: like you're using this credit card heavy. They'll hit you
- 57:12Speaker 1: with a soft pool. When they do a soft pool.
- 57:14Speaker 1: If your credit score it has dropped, you gotta derogatory marks.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Your utilization is out of whack, they gonna slice your limits.
- 57:21Speaker 1: American Express is gonna come and say well you put
- 57:24Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty thousand on your application. They gonna
- 57:28Speaker 1: come a year later ask for an income verification. They're
- 57:30Speaker 1: gonna ask to dish your tie your tax returns and say,
- 57:33Speaker 1: well you already made forty thousand, slice your limits, discover
- 57:38Speaker 1: does the same thing. All of this is what helps
- 57:41Speaker 1: we have to under This is the information that we
- 57:43Speaker 1: have to understand when it comes to credit card stacking.
- 57:46Speaker 1: So when you say, how do you get multiple credit
- 57:48Speaker 1: cards at one time? You have to look and learn
- 57:50Speaker 1: the rules of which credit cards can I apply for
- 57:52Speaker 1: and get multiple cards at one time from one bank
- 57:55Speaker 1: on one inquiry, literally stack them all together and do
- 58:00Speaker 1: it at the same time.
- 58:02Speaker 4: M hm, So key to that man fire outstanding.
- 58:10Speaker 3: So let's let's talk about recession proof, right, because at
- 58:14Speaker 3: some point it's like you learning all this stuff, learning
- 58:17Speaker 3: this information, and it's changing your life. I'm assuming it's
- 58:20Speaker 3: changing your family's life. At what point do you turn
- 58:23Speaker 3: that into changing and educating other people?
- 58:29Speaker 1: Listen with that part, that was never my goal, right,
- 58:32Speaker 1: I'm honest, like that was never my goal. My goal
- 58:35Speaker 1: was never to help other people. It was it was
- 58:38Speaker 1: a secret. Right, you understand everything my family thought I
- 58:41Speaker 1: sold drugs, right, Like I always see people people think that, yo, everybody,
- 58:48Speaker 1: these dudes be online selling information. This is how they
- 58:51Speaker 1: make money. They ain't really doing it. Tell people fact
- 58:54Speaker 1: check me. I have Bentley Truck before I ever help somebody,
- 58:58Speaker 1: ever right, g Wagon, before ever own my house investment
- 59:02Speaker 1: properties before I assisted because I had the game, but
- 59:07Speaker 1: I wouldn't. You know, It's how we feel we know something.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Sometimes we don't tell people. You got secrets and stuff
- 59:13Speaker 1: that you know, be like yo, now I know how
- 59:15Speaker 1: we get the podcast number one. We know, like yo,
- 59:18Speaker 1: I'm not telling, right, You're not gonna come. I'm not
- 59:21Speaker 1: gonna tell, So you have to go figure out yourself.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Eric Thomas Eric Thomas. I was in Masters of the
- 59:29Speaker 1: Game and Eric Thomas said that if you know something
- 59:34Speaker 1: that can help another man change the trajectory of his
- 59:37Speaker 1: family in their future, and you don't share that information,
- 59:40Speaker 1: you selfish. And it sat on me for a while
- 59:47Speaker 1: because I still was like, yeah sounds good, Yeah right.
- 59:53Speaker 4: It sat on me for a while, but.
- 59:58Speaker 1: It came to a point to where it was like, yo,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: is that what's the what's the impact that you don't
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: really want to make now that you're making money. I
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: have my daughter, and then I started really seeing like
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I was born. When I was born, my mom was homeless.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: We lived in a shelter from the gate. When I
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: had my daughter, she came home to a house I own,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: and I think, and I look, and I go, there's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: so many people that need this. I'm gonna be wrong
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: if I don't share, right, And so everything I created
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: though was like for myself, So then I started sharing
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: it with people. That's when the recession proof started. And
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: that's when I created a community. But I didn't create
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: like a program. I literally create a family. So everything
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: that we need, I go out and we do things right.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Like events that we had. When y'all came to the event,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I fly on private jets. Guess what happened. My mentees
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: fly on private jets. You're a party, we a family.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: We operate on the same level. So they flying in
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: on private jets. We got all the exotic vehicles. They
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: drive nice vehicles. They driving nice cars. The whole event
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: was free. So what happens is is that not only
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: are they learning being able to be financial literate, they
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: learn how to run and scale businesses. So now teach
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: you everything you need to know about credit. But then
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I'm creating leaders because it's in order for what I
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: did for my community, how can I get I was like, Yo,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I need at least ten to fifteen other people doing this.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I never expected it to be hundreds. Yet thousands of
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: people going, nah, I need to help my community. I
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: need to help my community. And it's still people out
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: there who don't know who I am or that I exist,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: but it's thousands of us helping our community. So when
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: we get on these platforms, the growth point is that
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: we need more leaders in our community. We need more
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: people who are financial literate to take this back. Everybody's
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: not going to have the tenacity and say I want
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to fish for myself, but for those who do, those
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: are the people that we need to stand up in
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: the community. That they need to take that back home
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: and be that for their family. They need to be
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: that for the people around them, source for them to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: come and get this information from.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Because if they're watching this podcast or listen to this podcast, how.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Many people they know who don't listen to it, who
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: didn't catch this information. So that's my point is like
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: when you look at recession proof, my whole goal is
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: to create leaders in the community when it come to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: financial literacy, when it comes to actually business, when it
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: comes to growing and scaling and just being all around leaders.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Not only with financial literacy. But if you see we
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: did the Takeoveray, remember we did the Kroger takeover shut
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: it down, kind of went viral a little bit that
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I was a big that was big.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, slue to that I forgot about that to
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: that that was yeah, that was really dope. Everybody was
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: not familiar. The guys went into Kroger in Atlanta, and
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I think they are twenty dollars forty thousand dollars for
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: families for for Thanksgiving so they can you know, not
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: have to worry about that bill and you know, buy groceries.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So yeah, y'all did the free gas too, did the
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: free gas. The crazy thing is we did the gas
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: before for the Kroger. Before the Kroger, we almost went
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to do another gas station, but instead we was like, yo,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: we decided let's just.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Go do the Kroger. Went the Kroger.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: We tried to do gift cards and realized that wasn't
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: gonna work, and we just said open the lines up.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Everybody just running through. That's why the receipts for so long.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: We just let the line run. Everybody run through running
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: grocery store. It was two days before Thanksgiving. Everybody ran
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: through and we took care of it. Me and all
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: the guys, a whole bunch of entrepreneurs. We all got
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: together and collectively we did it together. We did a
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: collective amount of forty thousand. But my point was that
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: as a leader in the community and the leader of
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: like recession proof, my mentees turned around a few days ago.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: They before yesterday's shout out to Bees for heading that out.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: My guy went out.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: They went out collectively and they put their money together
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: my mentees and went and shut down a whole Walmart
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: for like a Falster Care kind of company, not Falter Care,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: but like a sheltered company that takes families in and
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: helped them get rebuilded, and pretty much went and shut
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: in about all the Walmart out. One of the mentees
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: how the truck. He went and learned how to leverage
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: his credit, got his own trucking company started. He literally
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: brung his truck to Florida. The Mentees fly out, they
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: all on Recession Proof shirts and the news cameras out there,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: they go shut Walmart down and do a giveback. Had
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: nothing to do with me. Guess what the name was
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that represented them when they.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Said who did it? Session proof?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: They said Recession Proof Network, And I'm like, Yo, this
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: just shows the selflessness of the community that we built it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: And that's why I was like, Yo, this is different.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: So it's really a fan.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: So in the Recession Proof you actually so you also
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: teach people like different steps on like all of it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Because what I'm realizing, even myself I had to be
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: educated on because it's like you said, a lot of people, everybody,
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: a lot of people have courses and things of that
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: nature and educational platforms and things, and it's like, what
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: I'm realizing is that you can only really learn so
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: much much from like YouTube, yeah, or like even like
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: a podcast like our podcast I think is the best
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: out period and you can dis plenty of information where
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: you can just act on that just a loan. But
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: then some people want to It's like, you know, some
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: people want to go further with the education, So like
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: what do you actually teach in that? Like what are
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: some of the subjects that you actually teach in the
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: in the.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Community in the community.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: My main topics that I teach is how to start
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: a credit pair of business, how to scale it, how
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: to grow it, how to automate it so you don't
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: have to be the one doing it. Everybody needs a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: solid financial foundation. Teach people how to be that person
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: and everybody gets it. Everybody needs it, so now you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: can be that home base. I teach people how to
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: run a tradeline business, so that way you know how
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to actually turn something that's in your wallet into cash, right,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: something you already have, how to turn that into cash flow.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: So literally, how to start and run and scale a
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: tradeline business. I teach people how to start and help
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: you will get funded, meaning you're going If people don't
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: want to learn how to do it themselves, then well
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: then you help them for ten percent, so now you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: have your own funding business. Then I teach you all
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: the every mastery trick you can learn about credit cards,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Which credit cards to do for running ads, which ones
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: for free hotels and you name it, How to master
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: your credit cards, how to travel for free, teach them
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: about private jets. I teach them how to get luxury
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: cars so you don't pay for them, right because The
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: goal is like, even when I told you about the
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: reward points earlier, I may have went on a sixty
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: five hundred dollars shopping spree, but that's because I'm established.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Before I'm established, you don't spend sixty five hundred on clothes.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: You spend sixty five hundred on bills. So you don't
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: pay for your groceries, you don't pay for your utilities,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: you don't pay for your mortgage, you don't pay for
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: your insurance, you don't pay for your Netflix. You use
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: the reward points to make you have a zero overhead
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: while your business grows. So these are all things that
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I teach. But then I realized, like you said, you
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: can only I can only teach so much. When you
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: say you got a family, you can't go and say, well,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: imagine a father saying, yo, my kids gonna only know
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: what I know. I'm only gonna teach you what I know.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: And all I did was learn financial literacy. When I
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: know that I got brothers out here like Alice, get
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: energy who running, and got people making six figures in trucking,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: So I say, yo, I need you to come and
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: train my people on trucking. I got people like Wall
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Street trapper who know stocks and killing it and start
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: say yo, I need you to come and give them
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: an introduction to stocks. I got people like Justin Owens
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: with four rex. I got trusts. How to actually minimize
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: taxes to where you can defer your taxes. And you know,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I can close out a year doing millions and paid
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: same thing Trump paid right. How do we protect our self?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Asset protection? All of these things come in because these
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: are things that we needed. Facebook ads, how do we
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: run Facebook ads? How do you scale a business? How
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: to post on social media? I bring people in to
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: teach us everything that we need to know in today's society.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: And I gave him an e book to sell so
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: that way they have a digital product. It's just in
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: case you got nothing else your author. I also help
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you become an author. So now that you're an author,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: what happens is that if you got nothing else, you
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: can go and repeat my content what I said on
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: E Y L.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: You go put it out to people who didn't.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: See and you say, well, I got a d I
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Y credit ebook that him five hundred told me. He
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: taught me how to set up click funnels. He told
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: me how to run ads. I'm run ads on this video,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: sell this digital product, and I still I got another business.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: And when you go on the book to it, I
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: don't forget the event space.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: I taught him from me.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Look my brother, me and my David Neil shout out Neil.
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: But that fate would have it because like when we
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: you know, we take our time because it's like we
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: gotta be responsible about who we bring on the platform,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: and you know, we kind of you know, try to
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: see if we know anybody that so we was looking
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: and and it just so happened that somebody that we
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: grew up would actually purchased became a part of the community.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: And he said he actually made money. What do you make?
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: I don't gotta say his name, but so it's in
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: its first month.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: He's been thirty thousand.
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, he made thirty thousand. So I'm not
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: saying that's gonna happen to every single person, but we
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: personally know it and doing our due diligence, Like I said,
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: it just so happened that we actually knew somebody that
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: was from our neighborhood. That yeah, it worked out.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: That's heavy.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: You know, you never know.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: You know what's crazy is that thirty thousand person month.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: That's amazing and double salute. We're gonna talk about off camera.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: But that's the goal for twenty twenty one is that.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: My goal is that you know, I've helped make three
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: people millionaires throughout my program. Now, I got three millionaires,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: and I got sixty people who've been able to walk
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: away from their job. And this year the reason why
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: I put everything now, like like why would you bring events,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: space and all these different why are you bringing all
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: this together? I said, oh, listen, my goal is I
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: don't want to make one hundred millionaires in twenty twenty one.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: So my goal is to be able to go out
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: back into the community and twenty twenty one, I want
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to help create one hundred millionaires. With that kind of goal,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: we got one hundred millionaire challenge, I said, listen, people
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: don't understand it. You're going to make one hundred millionaires.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: I say, Yo, that's a big number. Million dollars, A
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: big number. I said, listen, I made a million dollars
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: and thirty days. If they can perform at a tenth
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: of me, they'll be a millionaire. All they need to
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: do is perform at one tenth of what I do.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: And if they fail and lose and do twenty percent,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: they walk away three four hundred thousand a year. Hell,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: were still successful in our community is a lot better.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: That's a fact. So, and one of the things with EYL,
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: I feel like online of education is in new college.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Everybody thinks I'm anti college. I'm not anti college. If
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: you want to go to I went to college for
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: ye has a degree. So you know, fortunately I have
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: to spend money for college.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: But yo, why do that? I did.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: I'm just saying so I did.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: I did. We'll talk about that after so.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: But yeah, one thing, you know, people come on, whether
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: it's Alex, whether it's our brother Hif from Bendam, Oh, everybody.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: A lot of people, you know, entrepreneurs. They have different
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: programs and different things. That nation. The only thing that
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: we ever ask is that, you know, they just show
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: us a little love and give us a discount for
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: anybody that watches ey L. And of course, you know,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: like I said, if you invest in education, you invest
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: in educations up to you. If not, you know, just
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: learning from the podcast is going to change your life.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: But you know, we do. That's like a stickler, like
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: if you want to come on like you definitely we
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: encourage people to to do a discount, and everybody today
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: Credit has always obliged that and Marcus has been no difference.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: So five hundred dollars off is what Marcus agreed. Uh,
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: we are greatly, greatly appreciative of that. So it's five
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: hundred dollars off of the program, which is actually the
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: lowest price on the market right now. And he did
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: something exclusively for us, set up a website r p
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: x e y l dot com, so there's no code needed, nothing.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: You cannot get this price for the Recession Proof program
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: anywhere else. It's the cheapest that it's at anywhere right now,
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: five hundred dollars off, and you just click the link.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: We'll have it in this description of this YouTube video.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: We'll have the description if you're listening on iTunes, Spotify.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Also have it on our website under the Alumni tab,
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: or you can just go to the website directly r
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: p x e y l dot com. Once again, that's
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: five hundred dollars off of the Recession Proof program. And
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: that's a special it's not even a discount or code.
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: It's just a special situation that he did for E
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: y L and we greatly appreciate that, brother. Thank you.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: So if you're interested in joining the Recession Proof family
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: once again, the website is r p X e y
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: L dot com. No code needed. It is a special
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: website set up with a special price, which is five
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: hundred dollars off and we are honored to have that
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: as the lowest price that you have anywhere in the
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: world right now. There's no other place that you can
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: get it toward that price. Appreciate you for doing that.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Love for the community, Yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: For sure. So what do you have on the horizon?
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: What are you working on? What would you like to
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: tell of people? How can they contact you? Any last
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: good words that you want to give the people.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: One of the things that I'm well, now you know
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: what I like. I like still educating. He brungs something
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: up that I want to say.
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: We ended on this.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: My name is him five hundred. I'm credit specialist. I
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: teach people how to leverage credit turned to cash. He
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: said he paid for college. A lot of times we
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: pay for college and we don't have a benefit from it.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: We don't make money from it. So I tell people listening,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: you want to know one the benefits of having student
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: loans if you keep them, if you do go to college,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: and if you're in college right now, if you keep
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: your student loans in good shape, what happens is is
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: your credit report needs to look a certain way. There's
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: data points that need to be hit. You need to
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: have at least ten plus positive accounts. You want to
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: build the age of your credit report as well, so
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: we're going to stay there. You want two to three well,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: you need two to three inquiries or below. Right, you
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: want a utilization rate of under nine percent. Your utilization
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: rate under nine Everybody tells you thirty percent. That's cool,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: it doesn't have a negative effect. But it's not that
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: it's optimal point. It's that it's optimal point when it's
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: below nine percent. Between two and nine percent, you also
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: want to have one hundred percent payment history. But the
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: key point is that you want to have ten plus
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: positive accounts, and you want to build the age of
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: at least four to five years average age and your
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: credit report. Nobody gets a student loan that was yesterday.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: They got it yesterday, right. Everybody has student loans that
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: are old. One thing about student loans also is that
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: there's never just one, So you have multiple student loans. Well,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: when you come to hit those data points, guess what,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you may not even use that degree. But if you
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: get those student loans in the right shape and you
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: keep them in deferment where you have good payment, history
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: helps you with the total number of counsel and your
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: credit report, and it helps you with the age of
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: your credit report. So then when you add a few
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: more tradelines, different kind of tradelines, not just aus. When
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: you add a few more different tradelines and bank products
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: to your report, it's easier for you to get funding.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: So don't automatically think that, hey, I need to get
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: my credit together, I need to go and clean these
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: student loans off. Student loans have more positive effect than
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: you believe when it comes to go and acquiring funding
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: and getting credit cards and things like that. I here
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: five hundred, I'm the leader owner of Recession prof Financial Literacy.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: And that's it, yo, man. You know what he finished
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: off like the champion is. You know, I want to
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: ask you something that I've never heard you talked about,
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: and it's like the backbone of your business. I want
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: to talk about her five hundred and her role in
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: the business, and that that balance between I got to
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: man because you know a married man as a married man,
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: and I know it's not easy to balance family life
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: and work life. And I know it's not easy when
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: you know you've got a lot of things pulling you
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: in different ways, but you know you're balancing it pretty well.
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: You talked about her role. Yeah, so.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: That's the road, backbone, partner, rib punching bag, everything. When
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I got a bad day, that's the person, you know,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: that's the only person that I can talk about it with.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Not only that, raising my kids, raising their family, raising
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: me from the gate. When we started this company. We
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: started this together, one hundred percent, not boom. We started
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the credit repair company together. So she knows everything inside now,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: but she's been more so behind the scenes. See I
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: was more so. I'm on social media.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: I talk. She don't care. She a sociable person like real.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Life, like I'm going out all my friends, I'm on
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: social media, like nah, I'm posting content. First viral video
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: we argue probably ten minutes before to get it right,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: like hold the light right there, chilled the camera, you
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: got the wrong angle. Look how you're making me look
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I'm looking bad, Nah, argue Right, everything that we went through,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: we built this together. And so now one of the
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: dope things is that as I built, we've been building
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: the business infrastructure. Like she's bringing in my HR people.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: She's the one who goes out and make sure, like
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: the accountants and everything is integrated.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: She does all my integrations. And now we got it
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to where we're going to be kind of on autopilot
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: and more active in the community. I actually brung her
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: in and said, well, listen, it's a community of women
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: that search financial literacy that's in this family, a lot
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: of powerful women. But I haven't been able to edify
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: my women in the community. And I as a man,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: could never edify the women and be like, Yo, let
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: me get a group for y'all, and I'm gonna set
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: things up for you. So now we have a sector
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: for anybody who's in the Recession Proof family. Another just
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: added bonus is the Women of Recession Proof. So now
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: she's gonna run Women of Recession Proof to where they'll
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: do women trips, they'll have women come and speak to them.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Women accountability groups just for the women, just because males
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: having more natural dominance. It's more males than it is women,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: but it's a lot of women in there, like that's bosses.
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: Snoop, shouts to Snoop, shots of Snoop.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: It's a lot of powerful house women in there. And
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm going, Okay, we're gonna set this group up of
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: the women of recession proof and shout out to her
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: five hundred that's one. That's her secord that she's gonna
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: be able to run and just pour back the things
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: that she's been able to put into me and help
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: be that for the other women in the group.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: One thing I wanted to ask you too, if you down,
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: and congratulations too. I know you get married, appreciate it,
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: So congratulations on that I asked. I talked to Alex
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: about this. He said that he was down. So I'll
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: put you on the spot to see if you're interested.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: I know. But you guys did a great thing in
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Atlanta and we had we had a special event that
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: we did. Shout out the trap he was in town.
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: Shout out to m the mortgage got shot you why
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: that joined us. We was up Chowneldkament and with four
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: hundred families got turkeys gift cards, Disneyland, Trip TV shout
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: out to my man Kim from Thank Me. He said
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: he never seen anything like that since the government cheese days.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Like the line the line was literally like five blocks down.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: So I say that to say, you know, obviously it's
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: a lot of people in need these days, all across
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: the country. So maybe when COVID clears up a little bit,
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: we can play something real big, a give back home
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: and away. We can come to Atlanta, y'all can come
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: to New York. Yeah, if you're interested.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: Now, one hundred percent, I'm in. You want to know
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: what's so? What's what's crazy? Is that.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Word to my mother?
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Right now, listen right our hands down. We did the
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: gas station giveaway. We did the gas station giveaway. Y'all
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: announce that y'all was doing the dyking thing. I'm laying
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: in in bed with my wife. I called Neo and
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I said, Yo, Neil, let's go to New York. I said, Yo,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: e y l trapper. They got a thing they're doing
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: with dyking tomorrow. Let's go to New York. Alex had
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: to close on his house and I go. Alex said
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: he couldn't go. He had to do something he couldn't
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: take off. Neil had to go and get his daughter
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: literally was coming. I was like, yo, let's jump on
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: a flight and come as well. And we was gonna
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: pop out here. I swear it was gonna pop out.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: My thing is like, look, I gotta be involved in
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the community every way. So I'm with that one hundred percent.
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: And after we did it, shout out to Brandon, I
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: use with him mother night. Yeah, I'm like, yo, bro,
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: we gotta do it. We gotta do something big for
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: New York.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: So yeah, good good acts always inspire other good acts,
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: and it's like competitive competition to do good. And I
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: think as entrepreneurs it's like, you know, we we we can,
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: you know, show nice things, and that's great. We got
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: to encourage people that way. But I think we also
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: got to encourage people, you know, whatever whatever it is,
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: because it might be five dollars, that's something, it might
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: be a smile. You never know how you can, but
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: you do can affect somebody else to do something good.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Like you know what I'm saying, Like you might give
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: away forty thousand dollars. Somebody might not be in a
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: position to do that, but they might be in a
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: position to just help a lady across the street. You
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Just give a kid two dollars
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: and not even say, yo, keep the candy. I don't
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: even want the candy. Just take two dollars, like you
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. So we need more of that
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: because we're that's all we really have is each other.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And we got an amazing unit and it's just you
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: just brung up, Brandon. And it's crazy being in New
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: York seeing all the love. But it was another thing
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: that I wanted from New York, right, being here seeing love.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I rock with New York. Y'all got something here that's
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: different from everywhere else, right, and that's that's whole and
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: rock Nation. One of my goals was to get signed
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: as a management deal, to get met rock Nation to
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: actually manage my company, to help that take it to
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: the next level.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: And so that's like being in New York too, feeling it.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I'm like, well, you just brung it up like so
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: many people here, but we don't think about who manages
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: the entrepreneurs and gives that outlet. Yeah, nobody, no a
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: list company or celebrities really have edified the education in
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: the black community yet and it's it's crazy. Not only
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: is it powerful and impactful, we see it, but then
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the money that's circulating through the community is crazy.
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: So now that's one of the things.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: It just so happens that we got. We got the
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: American Gangster album, we got the black album. You know,
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: rock Nation, man, you got a lot of friends, actually,
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: people over the shout out to everybody in Rock Nation
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: for sure, good people over there, people that we know
