- 0:06Speaker 2: From a great Onekend Episode two oh six.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Let's jump in the football season is over, but it
- 0:16Speaker 1: doesn't mean we're going to stop rooting for our favorite team.

- 0:22Speaker 1: Silverado a truck with unstoppable grit and unstoppable determination. According
- 0:27Speaker 1: to JD Power, Chevy has earned more New Vehicle Quality
- 0:30Speaker 1: awards than any other brand, and that is serious hardware.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Head over to Chevy dot com to learn more. Silverado
- 0:37Speaker 1: as strong and dependable as people who drive them. For
- 0:39Speaker 1: more information on JD Power, go to jdpower dot com
- 0:42Speaker 1: slash Awards. Well on that one, Let's go tell me
- 0:47Speaker 1: singing him down, Dude, you read something enough, you fucking
- 0:50Speaker 1: learn it, Boys, says PG thirteen. So maybe bleep out
- 0:53Speaker 1: Will's f ward and I think I might have had
- 0:55Speaker 1: six of them in there. I'm not sure, dude, Will
- 0:56Speaker 1: I wont kind of blacked out for a second. Boys,
- 1:00Speaker 1: We are stoked to have you on. Stoke to have
- 1:03Speaker 1: you on this podcast. I know you're super excited to
- 1:05Speaker 1: hear about Fred Warner. Listener, Fred Warner, captain of that
- 1:08Speaker 1: forty nine ers defense, just the heart and soul of
- 1:10Speaker 1: the boys on the other breaks my heart that I
- 1:12Speaker 1: was I know, dude, and it was so fucking good.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Of all the episodes we did, I was the one
- 1:18Speaker 1: I wanted you on the most because I couldn't wait
- 1:20Speaker 1: to see two potential Hall of Fame linebackers talkball.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm yeah, I'm really bummed. I DMed him and
- 1:27Speaker 3: talking about how sad I was about it. I was like,
- 1:29Speaker 3: we'd love to get you out to Nashville at some point.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Do another one get on the bus for real, because
- 1:34Speaker 3: I would. I would love to get in the mind
- 1:36Speaker 3: of Fred Warner because he's the best linebacker in the league.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Do you think so? I think so? Yeah? Is it close?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Because in my head? Who else is there? It's not close?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Mitch mitchha, it was like the most confident.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It wasn't.
- 1:49Speaker 3: This was Mitch's. This was Mitch shaking his head. No,
- 1:52Speaker 3: He's like, is it close to? Mitch was like, like,
- 1:54Speaker 3: what are you talking about? Like there's just nothing but
- 1:56Speaker 3: scrubs out there. There's a lot of cats, bro no, no,
- 1:59Speaker 3: no's who bring up a list. You're not gonna put
- 2:01Speaker 3: me on the spot, and mostly from Kansas City. That
- 2:03Speaker 3: I spelt his name wrong. During the Super Bowl.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Willie Gay No Bolden, Bolden, he's Bolden, he's young bold but.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Brother Guy and Bobby Wagner he's older. Michael Parsons older,
- 2:17Speaker 3: he's still But you're like, is it even closer when
- 2:19Speaker 3: you go Leavonte David Leavonte, David the Mario Davis.
- 2:25Speaker 5: I think Fred and Warner's head and shoulders above all old.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Boy from the Colts Darius Leonard. Yeah, and that is quick.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You forget that, don't get me wrong. I just think close,
- 2:40Speaker 2: not particularly. I think Fred's the best linebackers. Would you
- 2:42Speaker 2: play in uh at your college wide receiver? Wide receiver?
- 2:45Speaker 1: You played wide receiver and you knew going into it
- 2:48Speaker 1: you were white. You didn't think maybe I should switch
- 2:51Speaker 1: that up a little bit.
- 2:52Speaker 5: What else am I going to play?
- 2:53Speaker 1: I don't know them? Calves O line linebacker.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Line He does have a friend, could be like, you
- 3:00Speaker 3: have a frame like a linebacker.
- 3:02Speaker 1: This whole time until just now, I truly thought he
- 3:04Speaker 1: was a linebacker. I got a good you got a
- 3:07Speaker 1: good build on you make we all we all said
- 3:09Speaker 1: if we all did steroids, I think you'd have the
- 3:10Speaker 1: best body. Remember no oh, I did say Jack head aesthetically.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Aesthetically like from like a rip standpoint jack, from like
- 3:19Speaker 1: a build, like, oh, that guy's fucking he's fucking that
- 3:22Speaker 1: dude that'd probably be built like a tight end.
- 3:25Speaker 5: But okay, like I'm big like that, but like you.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Got that heavy head, you get that blockhead he does.
- 3:31Speaker 1: You got a blockhead. Yeah, but he's got that coming
- 3:33Speaker 1: out of birth sat but reeling it, yeah, you know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: you got that fucking You've made a lot of spills
- 3:40Speaker 1: when you were younger and just wiped hey, yourself off
- 3:43Speaker 1: and kept going. Take a moment of silence for your mother,
- 3:45Speaker 1: God bless her for from P to from P to B.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Thank you hey, but just to reel it all back in.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think there's a lot of like really good
- 3:57Speaker 3: fucking linebackers in the league. But and the it's not
- 4:00Speaker 3: Fred's not in the league of his own, but he
- 4:02Speaker 3: is in my opinion, I think he's the best linebacker
- 4:04Speaker 3: in the NFL.
- 4:05Speaker 1: In the NFL, but there's a lot of good ones
- 4:07Speaker 1: out there that can make a good argument. Michael Parsons
- 4:10Speaker 1: is a dude that I look at as a linebacker,
- 4:12Speaker 1: but he's also more of an edge guy now, he's
- 4:14Speaker 1: more of a past rushing thing. Is he at Penn State?
- 4:16Speaker 1: He was an off the ball linebacker, right that just
- 4:18Speaker 1: Blake he was, Yeah, talk about an absolute free talk
- 4:20Speaker 1: about a league of his own. Michael Parsons brother stud.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Every off the.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Ball linebacker would love they have to have Michael Parson's
- 4:27Speaker 3: ability because in that pass rush ability, that's where you
- 4:30Speaker 3: get big dollars.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Brother. When in twenty twenty one, when we were playing
- 4:33Speaker 1: the Bengals in the playoff game fifty seven, I can't
- 4:36Speaker 1: remember his name. I apologize. I know he watches the
- 4:38Speaker 1: show Comes on the Ball and they were running like
- 4:42Speaker 1: a like a five man front, essentially a jam front,
- 4:45Speaker 1: and we were running at him and he was taking
- 4:46Speaker 1: on blocks horribly. It was it was a great feeling
- 4:49Speaker 1: for me. And after like the third or fourth one,
- 4:51Speaker 1: because you know, we run a lot of consistently the
- 4:53Speaker 1: same thing, uh the main prep when we were a
- 4:56Speaker 1: lot of run a lot of the same plays, especially
- 4:58Speaker 1: when things are going well, and we kept running and
- 5:00Speaker 1: I kept I kept base blocking him and after the
- 5:03Speaker 1: third one, he's like, man, fuck this shit looks at
- 5:05Speaker 1: the sideline, fucking take me off the ball. I'm not
- 5:08Speaker 1: on the ball.
- 5:10Speaker 3: He's he's a good backer, by the way. But yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 3: it's like when you get in them systems and them
- 5:14Speaker 3: coordinators want to like get get a little but doing
- 5:17Speaker 3: those five man in front. Hey, hey, well when we
- 5:18Speaker 3: say you're gonna go to the line of scrimmage and
- 5:20Speaker 3: I'm thinking, there's zero ability in this body everything get
- 5:25Speaker 3: on the ball, you know what I mean. You know
- 5:26Speaker 3: there was one time that in practice where I came
- 5:28Speaker 3: on the came on the ball against you. I mean,
- 5:31Speaker 3: I got the sack. But don't laugh like that, dude.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You don't like that laugh. That's a genuine left. That's
- 5:41Speaker 3: when you know it's a genuine least.
- 5:42Speaker 1: A genuine left. Dude. I do do this thing where
- 5:44Speaker 1: I kind of like quietly laugh at his Malthobin. Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you like the new teeth. Fucking love him, dude. How's
- 5:51Speaker 1: it being getting on the like? I think the more
- 5:53Speaker 1: reps I get speaking, the better I feel. But you
- 5:56Speaker 1: heard when I said speaking you felt that little at
- 5:58Speaker 1: the end or the like in the middle speaking speaking,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I do have a little bit of difficulty that I
- 6:03Speaker 1: was at the combine. We will get into that. That
- 6:05Speaker 1: was a blast always to be around rich eyes. And
- 6:08Speaker 1: but the reason why the Bengals were in that five
- 6:11Speaker 1: man front is because of King Henry and unfortunately or
- 6:16Speaker 1: maybe fortunately for Derek. I don't know. The Titans seem
- 6:18Speaker 1: like they are now shopping and there's some Tennessee Titan
- 6:21Speaker 1: drama going on right now.
- 6:22Speaker 3: You got the rumors of Dereck Henry being shopped and
- 6:25Speaker 3: Jeffrey Simmons he's playing the old AJ Brown Car where
- 6:28Speaker 3: he's deleting everything on the internet.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah we know how that worked really well.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so there is so there's some drama around Tennessee
- 6:35Speaker 3: right now, like drama. I just think, like headlines, people
- 6:37Speaker 3: are making this stuff up. My personal opinion. If I
- 6:40Speaker 3: zoom out, I'm fully objective. I'm playing armchair GM. I
- 6:43Speaker 3: think the right move would be to shop Dereck Henry.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I told you that before. Yeah you have, just because
- 6:47Speaker 3: I think that the tread that's on. You look at
- 6:50Speaker 3: a running back overall, you want to trade it. If
- 6:53Speaker 3: you're gonna deal somebody, you want to deal them like
- 6:55Speaker 3: while they're still hot. Like it's up to the GM
- 6:57Speaker 3: to think, how many years do we think we have
- 6:59Speaker 3: left with their Henry? You have a decimated O line.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Do you think Derek's really gonna continue to perform. If
- 7:04Speaker 3: we don't have an entire o line in front. We
- 7:06Speaker 3: might need pieces, we might need picks, we might need
- 7:08Speaker 3: multiple players, and we could potentially deal Derrick Henry. Who everyone,
- 7:13Speaker 3: It's not that anybody sitting up there being like, oh,
- 7:15Speaker 3: he's not good. It's just like, hey, we got to
- 7:17Speaker 3: look at building the roster. We have a lot of holes.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Derek might be a piece of move. It's you know,
- 7:23Speaker 3: it's you know, the whole phrase, like it's nothing personal
- 7:26Speaker 3: at all.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Like I think they're just trying to objectively.
- 7:28Speaker 3: View if that is true, If that rumor's true, Yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 3: I forget where I saw it. I think it was, uh,
- 7:33Speaker 3: I don't want to Butcher's name, Don Cleman, Dove Climbing,
- 7:36Speaker 3: shout out the boy Dove Climbing.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I don't know who Dove Cleimban is. He was the
- 7:40Speaker 1: one where I dropped that. The tweet in the chat
- 7:42Speaker 1: gotcha or put out. Rumor is that the titles are
- 7:46Speaker 1: shopping Derrick Henry. Going back to what you're saying, like
- 7:49Speaker 1: I think Derek is this offseason, there's a lot more
- 7:53Speaker 1: chatter around what do the Titans do with Derek? I
- 7:55Speaker 1: think that has to do a lot with the player
- 7:57Speaker 1: of the old line. Last year, the old line did
- 7:59Speaker 1: not well. Derek is a guy that we've always known
- 8:03Speaker 1: has to get in his fourth or fifth step before
- 8:05Speaker 1: and before he gets the line of scrimmage to really
- 8:07Speaker 1: make those big time moves and get those home run balls.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Because I get injured. Dennis Seely had a rough season.
- 8:14Speaker 1: We had a rookie right tackle, Ben Jones was dealing
- 8:17Speaker 1: with injuries. Nate Davis was dealing with injuries. Aaron Brewer
- 8:21Speaker 1: rock solid, rock solid about playing every single game. So
- 8:25Speaker 1: to be honest, like it is, I think people are
- 8:28Speaker 1: looking at Derek's like, hey, has he lost the step?
- 8:30Speaker 1: Derek ran for what sixteen hundred yards? Fifteen hundred yards
- 8:33Speaker 1: with an old line that was pieced together on a
- 8:36Speaker 1: week to week basis. So if the Titans are shape
- 8:39Speaker 1: shopping Derek Henry, whoever gets Dererick Henry, you got a
- 8:43Speaker 1: fucking stud on your hands, boys, an absolute stud on
- 8:45Speaker 1: your hands. I hope if they are trading him that
- 8:49Speaker 1: hopefully this is something that Derek wants. I don't know.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I don't ask him those type of questions. I just
- 8:54Speaker 1: hope whatever happens with Derek is what Derek wants to
- 8:56Speaker 1: happen to Derek. I love Derek. That's why. That's why
- 8:58Speaker 1: I'm getting that here. I love that man.
- 9:01Speaker 3: As far as Jeffrey Simmons goes, I mean, if he
- 9:05Speaker 3: was like when we had Derek gone, he seems to
- 9:07Speaker 3: have that perspective head on his shoulders where he understands
- 9:12Speaker 3: that he understands the business.
- 9:14Speaker 1: He doesn't. He doesn't trust any move that gets made.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Like when we were talking about You're like, oh, I
- 9:17Speaker 3: think I'm gonna get cut in the two weeks, and
- 9:19Speaker 3: he was like, you know, he kind of said, what
- 9:21Speaker 3: are you talking about? He's like, man, I don't even
- 9:22Speaker 3: know what's gonna happen to me. I think he does
- 9:24Speaker 3: have like he's been around it. He understand how the
- 9:27Speaker 3: business works, the business side of everything works.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Derek does have a very aware understanding of how
- 9:32Speaker 1: the NFL business works. I hope.
- 9:35Speaker 3: And again I'm not saying like he's I'm not saying
- 9:38Speaker 3: that they should or anything.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I can definitely just see that perspective.
- 9:41Speaker 3: If I'm sitting there, I personally like, if I was
- 9:43Speaker 3: the gym, I think you want to weigh every option
- 9:46Speaker 3: out there. It's like, Yo, what could we potentially get
- 9:48Speaker 3: out of Derrick Henry because he is fucking King Henry
- 9:51Speaker 3: for a reason.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And if some team out there is obsessed.
- 9:53Speaker 3: With him and would give up pick, if they would
- 9:55Speaker 3: give up a couple of picks, a couple of players,
- 9:57Speaker 3: depending on if they fill your knees, it's like, why
- 9:59Speaker 3: not talk up? You know?
- 10:00Speaker 1: The interesting thing with the Titans is it seems like
- 10:03Speaker 1: the teams that have had major success in recent years
- 10:06Speaker 1: have really played through the free agency game more than
- 10:08Speaker 1: the draft, Like Kansas City. As successful as they've been,
- 10:12Speaker 1: they've had very late round picks the last five years,
- 10:15Speaker 1: so the late first round picks, that thirty first, thirty second,
- 10:18Speaker 1: like in that range. And so they've been kind of dealing,
- 10:20Speaker 1: moving around, getting guys, grabbing Juju Smith and those step
- 10:23Speaker 1: of dudes, the Rams who won, they built their entire
- 10:26Speaker 1: team through free agency. They said, picks, man, fuck those picks.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'd rather get a guy for a second round pick
- 10:31Speaker 1: that I know can play ball in the league and
- 10:32Speaker 1: is going to be productive for us. Interesting route that
- 10:35Speaker 1: Titans seemed to be going in this type of situation.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Let's see how it works out.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they're trade, like trading guys to get who who's
- 10:42Speaker 3: the corner that they ended up getting from the Saints.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Johnson. Yeah, that's right.
- 10:49Speaker 3: They were going all in on this year and obviously
- 10:51Speaker 3: they made it all the way to the super Bowl,
- 10:52Speaker 3: but they were kind of taking that approach on.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Draft. They were a few years ago. I have to
- 10:58Speaker 1: develop type dude.
- 10:59Speaker 3: They think when they drafted Jalen Ever, they were under
- 11:02Speaker 3: fire about you know, are they really moving on from
- 11:06Speaker 3: Carson Wentz.
- 11:06Speaker 1: He was just an MVP candidate a year or two ago.
- 11:08Speaker 1: YadA YadA dah.
- 11:09Speaker 3: They took a lot of heat for that, and obviously
- 11:11Speaker 3: you've seen how it panned out playing the longer game
- 11:13Speaker 3: building through the draft, right.
- 11:14Speaker 1: But the issue when you're playing the longer game is
- 11:17Speaker 1: what is the patience of the owner. The patience of
- 11:20Speaker 1: the owner is not good, then you're not going to
- 11:22Speaker 1: have that three four years to really prove and develop
- 11:24Speaker 1: your team and get the guys you want in there.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That's a tough that's a tough deal. Now, some to
- 11:29Speaker 1: think about Mike Rabels thought process. What if he's thinking
- 11:33Speaker 1: to himself and this is the we're all We're just
- 11:35Speaker 1: we're playing like you said. Armchair GM armchair head coach
- 11:39Speaker 1: if he's thinking, I'm not gonna have the team I've
- 11:42Speaker 1: had in past years. I've had to get rid of,
- 11:44Speaker 1: get rid of a lot of veterans. Ben Jon's might retiring.
- 11:47Speaker 1: We let go of Aryl Lawan. Now we're shopping Jeffrey Simmons.
- 11:49Speaker 1: We're shopping. Uh, you're not getting Jeffrey Simmons. But Jeffer
- 11:52Speaker 1: Simons seems like, you know, he's doing the A J.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Brown technic will see all that unfolds. It seems like
- 11:55Speaker 1: they're shopping Derek Henry. The whole world's asking what's gonna
- 11:58Speaker 1: happen with Ryan Tannehilly Baby Rabes is maybe doing a
- 12:02Speaker 1: little uh cya, and he's like, hey, maybe if I
- 12:05Speaker 1: get these guys out of here, show the draft capitol
- 12:07Speaker 1: we're about to get in. Gives him a couple of years.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Cuz if you have King Henry, if you have Jeffrey Simmons,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and you're putting out shekels the way you have to
- 12:15Speaker 1: for those two gentlemen, and you're not winning games. You need
- 12:17Speaker 1: to win games. We know the reality of the NFL.
- 12:19Speaker 1: The reality the NFL is is that Amy will look
- 12:21Speaker 1: at it and say, hey, you're not producing the way
- 12:23Speaker 1: you have been. It's time to move on and try
- 12:24Speaker 1: to get to the next step again. Mike Rabe, I've
- 12:26Speaker 1: said at once to say, a thousand times top five
- 12:28Speaker 1: coach in the NFL Top five. Now there's a couple
- 12:30Speaker 1: of things we've talked about, the work on, but he's
- 12:33Speaker 1: still a stud. Yeah, No, he's all stud.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I think ultimately, like the culture that he builds in
- 12:39Speaker 3: the formula that the Titans have had in success, I
- 12:42Speaker 3: think you look at that and think, number one, you
- 12:44Speaker 3: need we definitely need depth. Yeah, you know what I mean,
- 12:46Speaker 3: Like at this point you're destimating, You're getting a rid
- 12:49Speaker 3: of a lot of guys. You see, not necessarily like rebuild,
- 12:52Speaker 3: but from the outside looking in, it's like all the
- 12:54Speaker 3: Titans are looking at going through like a rebuilding process,
- 12:56Speaker 3: like getting new guys in because you need depth.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And I think the.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Cold sure that v Abel ultimately pieces together in the
- 13:04Speaker 3: formula that the Titans used to win, you might need
- 13:07Speaker 3: a little bit more capital to do that, and you
- 13:10Speaker 3: might have to. You know, you're cutting guys, you're freeing
- 13:12Speaker 3: up cap space, and you're trying to like put together
- 13:15Speaker 3: a full product, and not just a full product, but
- 13:17Speaker 3: even death below that because right now the Titans.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Need a lot. Could you imagine Derek Henry on the
- 13:21Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Or the Bills. I don't see him on the Bills.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Like Bills living, but.
- 13:29Speaker 1: They don't sleep. The Titans win a lot of eleven
- 13:31Speaker 1: personnel too, Yeah, but not like the Bills. No, no, no, no,
- 13:33Speaker 1: Bills are not on the ball. A shipload, shipload a
- 13:36Speaker 1: shipload in the What do you think is that?
- 13:38Speaker 6: What do you think is ask is what do you
- 13:40Speaker 6: trade for that?
- 13:42Speaker 1: Derek? I have absolutely zero clue.
- 13:43Speaker 3: This is where that's where we don't know. This is
- 13:45Speaker 3: where my jurisdiction runs out. Like I'm just thinking, like
- 13:49Speaker 3: I can understand them wanting to shop Derek, Like I'm
- 13:51Speaker 3: sure everybody's going to be spassy about it, but at
- 13:53Speaker 3: the end of the day, you got to look at
- 13:54Speaker 3: his age and everything else and just you have to
- 13:56Speaker 3: play that game on what's best for the future of
- 13:59Speaker 3: the organization and if we can get more pieces for
- 14:02Speaker 3: letting go arguably the rest the best running back we've
- 14:05Speaker 3: had in our entire franchise. Like those are the hard
- 14:07Speaker 3: decisions that you ultimately have to make when you're in
- 14:09Speaker 3: the shoes of ram and coach Raves.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And when you're a new offensive coordinator like Tim Kelly is,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you don't know the offense is going to be somewhat similar,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but there might be different play calls. They might be
- 14:19Speaker 1: trying to air it out a little bit more. They
- 14:20Speaker 1: might be trying to shop Derek Henry to get that
- 14:22Speaker 1: quarterback that they want long term love Ryan Tannehill. I
- 14:25Speaker 1: don't know. These are all the questions that are going
- 14:27Speaker 1: around circuiting at this time of the year. And let's
- 14:30Speaker 1: let's not overstate the fact that people overthink everything this
- 14:33Speaker 1: time of year. This is when everything is micromanaged, overlooked, at, peaked,
- 14:38Speaker 1: dissected too much.
- 14:40Speaker 3: So it's fantasy football time. It's fantasy football time, right,
- 14:45Speaker 3: We're all playing that. Yeah, you know, there are so
- 14:48Speaker 3: many levels of chess in the NFL that everyone's playing
- 14:51Speaker 3: a different game. Mike's playing a different game than ran
- 14:54Speaker 3: Ram's playing a different game than Mike. They're playing also a
- 14:55Speaker 3: game together, but everyone's also looking at longevity for themselves,
- 14:59Speaker 3: where they can stay, where they can have the best
- 15:00Speaker 3: success and look the best. Like there's a lot of
- 15:03Speaker 3: ego that plays in the NFL. A lot of people.
- 15:05Speaker 1: About the Jeff Simmons, the Jeff Simmons stuff. You think
- 15:09Speaker 1: you pay big Jeff You like, if you think he
- 15:13Speaker 1: can win now, yeah, absolutely, But if you don't, if
- 15:16Speaker 1: you're going the routey you just talked about, then you
- 15:19Speaker 1: just gonna get his I don't We've said, we've said
- 15:21Speaker 1: it before. I don't know Iff's gonna get Aaron Donald
- 15:23Speaker 1: money because Aaron Donald is that he's that unicorn that
- 15:25Speaker 1: we all kind of seen, like no one's really doing
- 15:27Speaker 1: it like him or has done it like him.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Can you bring up can you bring up the top
- 15:32Speaker 3: paid that was? I think like sports track or whatever
- 15:35Speaker 3: it is.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And I think we kind of settled around twenty three
- 15:37Speaker 1: to twenty five million right in between there, because I
- 15:40Speaker 1: know Donald's up towards like twenty nine to thirty million.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I have maybe even thirty two eight. So that's his
- 15:47Speaker 1: ap y is thirty one point six sixty six probably
- 15:50Speaker 1: next number.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Little guy. It goes from Aaron Donald at thirty one
- 15:53Speaker 3: point six down to DeForest Buckner at twenty one million
- 15:56Speaker 3: a year.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Now take Aaron Donald out of the picture. Now you're
- 16:00Speaker 1: looking more Jeffrey Simmons will reset the market. Aside from
- 16:03Speaker 1: Aaron Donald I'm sure Jeffrey wants to reset the market entirely.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I don't know, do you know how there's a player
- 16:10Speaker 3: you're like, we might say remove Aaron Donald, but that
- 16:14Speaker 3: their agency and everything else. They're not like, that's like,
- 16:17Speaker 3: oh he Aaron Donald reset the market for Detac now,
- 16:20Speaker 3: And yeah, you're trying to get exactly you're trying to
- 16:23Speaker 3: get more money or close to that. Whether or not
- 16:25Speaker 3: we think that that's realistic or whatever is you're obviously
- 16:29Speaker 3: up for everybody to debate. But at the end of
- 16:31Speaker 3: the day, that's players are trying to reset the market
- 16:33Speaker 3: to establish more and obviously selfishly like get the bag.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it definitely plays into what we were talking about,
- 16:39Speaker 1: Like that parts out of our jurisdiction. But if I
- 16:42Speaker 1: if you're his agent, like you said, you're saying thirty
- 16:44Speaker 1: one is the floor, buddy, you're trying that's what you're
- 16:47Speaker 1: trying to base. You're a stud. You're you're a arguably
- 16:50Speaker 1: top three d tackle in the entire NFL at a
- 16:52Speaker 1: young age. You those top three guys right there, all studs,
- 16:56Speaker 1: all way older than jeff So that's what you're looking
- 16:58Speaker 1: at to You're like, I got a young guy in
- 17:00Speaker 1: his prime. We can pay him this money. You find
- 17:02Speaker 1: the team with the best draft, uh, with the best
- 17:05Speaker 1: financial capital to make that happen. You're looking in a
- 17:08Speaker 1: good situation there. Yeah, but you want to give Jeff.
- 17:11Speaker 1: You got to give that first round pick plus, Like
- 17:13Speaker 1: he is that type of dude that you got to
- 17:15Speaker 1: give a first round pick to get him.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I think you got to pay Jeff.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I think he's a cornerstone. I think he's in the trenches.
- 17:21Speaker 1: He's violent. We all know how Rabes loves.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, he's nasty, he's violent, he finishes. The dude is
- 17:27Speaker 3: all effort. He plays injured, He does all of the
- 17:29Speaker 3: stuff that you want in a player. And he's a
- 17:32Speaker 3: fucking stuff a dog. He's an absolute dog. Gets pressure
- 17:35Speaker 3: and when you get that internal pressure too, and you
- 17:37Speaker 3: got the quarterback moving in the bikey like, Jeff is
- 17:39Speaker 3: everything number one. We all obviously everybody knows that Vrabe
- 17:43Speaker 3: loves him, but Jeff is He's somebody you look to, like,
- 17:46Speaker 3: you know, build a franchise around, not like the singular person,
- 17:48Speaker 3: but he is a piece and you're like, yo, we
- 17:50Speaker 3: want this fucking freaking nature up front to build the
- 17:53Speaker 3: defense around because you got running hill linebackers all day,
- 17:56Speaker 3: and like I know David Long, they're gonna be looking
- 17:57Speaker 3: at paying Hopefully the boy David Long gets paid as well,
- 18:00Speaker 3: because he's a nasty player too. But you need guys
- 18:03Speaker 3: like Jeff, Like you got a building in the trenches,
- 18:05Speaker 3: and I think Jeff, it's like he's he's one of
- 18:07Speaker 3: the best, if not the best defensive tackle in the
- 18:09Speaker 3: game right now. Yeah, absolutely, Derek Carr goes to the Saints.
- 18:14Speaker 3: The boy got number one. Hey, Derek Carr going to
- 18:16Speaker 3: the Saints.
- 18:17Speaker 1: We got his contract. Look at that, dude. That is
- 18:20Speaker 1: oh yeah, what I wonder what he did? So yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: because here's what happened with Derek Carr when he was
- 18:25Speaker 1: at the Raiders when they were trying to trade him.
- 18:27Speaker 1: The Saints were obviously interested. At that time, they were
- 18:29Speaker 1: trying to finalize a deal with the Saints the Saints.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Allegedly what I heard is he wanted to take a
- 18:34Speaker 1: pay cut, or the Saints wanted him to take a
- 18:36Speaker 1: pay cut. Derek Carr said no, and then so the
- 18:38Speaker 1: deal did not get done. He decided to go test
- 18:40Speaker 1: free agency, ends up on the Saints. Once again. Do
- 18:41Speaker 1: we know the contract the five year contract.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I would assume it'd be on Twitter Adam Schefter, Ian
- 18:47Speaker 3: Rappaport would have already.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yeah. But a lot of times when these when these
- 18:51Speaker 1: deals get done, they're not finite, like, well, no, he's
- 18:55Speaker 1: got to fly there now.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Ian one hundred and fifty million dollars deal years one
- 19:00Speaker 3: hundred and fifty million with one hundred million in total guarantees,
- 19:03Speaker 3: gets seventy million, effectively fully guaranteed sixty million at signing,
- 19:07Speaker 3: another ten in year three, vesting after year one. Car
- 19:12Speaker 3: structures this deal to accommodate Saints' cap issues. Shout out
- 19:16Speaker 3: the sign that's a fat signing bonusw that is pretty outstandings.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Diif a boy per year is what it looks like
- 19:24Speaker 3: the average the boy, I think so, I mean, well,
- 19:29Speaker 3: we're going to take the NFC.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Number one, number one quarterback in that division. I was
- 19:32Speaker 1: going to say NFC South.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Now the Saints have now established a third team that
- 19:36Speaker 3: has a quarterback, because the other teams that's basically the
- 19:38Speaker 3: question mark on the NFC South, nobody has a quarterback.
- 19:41Speaker 3: I think the Saints now elevate to the team to
- 19:44Speaker 3: beat in the NFC South based on the stair car
- 19:46Speaker 3: signing because you got a lot of good pieces still
- 19:48Speaker 3: on defense vets, but good veteran leadership. That organization is awesome.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Their facilities are nice. Now they could work on their
- 19:54Speaker 3: cafeteria in their lunch room. But other than that, well
- 19:57Speaker 3: run organization. I love the people there and the players
- 20:00Speaker 3: that are still there. It's well like it's a player
- 20:03Speaker 3: ran police locker room. I'm talking high accountability. I'm not
- 20:05Speaker 3: talking players do whatever they want. I'm talking Cam Jordan
- 20:08Speaker 3: Tomorrio Davis. I would assume Tyron Matthew. But those dudes
- 20:11Speaker 3: are fucking leaders leaders. So he's going into a good situation.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And don't see but Odell Beckham junior guy went to LSU,
- 20:18Speaker 1: he's from Louisiana. Get a good quarterback like their car.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Maybe he wants to take a friendly deal. Odell's Odell
- 20:24Speaker 1: is an elite athlete based in a couple of years.
- 20:28Speaker 1: He's in a situation I am now, we're here to
- 20:29Speaker 1: get into a proved deal, sign a lower, lower deal
- 20:32Speaker 1: with incentive, incentive to get you up to a number
- 20:34Speaker 1: that you're happy with. And I think that might be
- 20:38Speaker 1: a good little spot for Odell as well. That would
- 20:40Speaker 1: be a nice little spot, add them a little more
- 20:42Speaker 1: firepower and that quickly. It's March sixth. I'm gonna give
- 20:45Speaker 1: you what's gonna happen in the NFC South next year.
- 20:48Speaker 1: One Saints are gonna win it. Two is gonna be
- 20:49Speaker 1: the Atlanta Falcons. Three's gonna be the Panthers. Buccaneers are
- 20:52Speaker 1: gonna take a big, big dive and they're gonna be
- 20:54Speaker 1: fourth in the NFL hard. So you're going, you're going
- 20:56Speaker 1: in March. You're going pre pre pre because I can
- 20:59Speaker 1: say what I want right now. I'm going, We're going
- 21:00Speaker 1: to do this in the beginning of the year. I'm
- 21:03Speaker 1: thinking right now, looking at that, knowing Tom Brady left,
- 21:06Speaker 1: knowing the Panthers started to do well towards the end
- 21:08Speaker 1: of the season, knowing Arthur Smith. We love Arthur Smith,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and I think he's a stud coach and he's going
- 21:13Speaker 1: to really teat the next step this year. I think
- 21:15Speaker 1: those three teams elevate. I think the Buccaneers go down
- 21:18Speaker 1: to the bottom.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I can definitely see Buccaneers going down to the bottom
- 21:21Speaker 3: for sure. Yeah, you think Panthers others Panthers love and
- 21:25Speaker 3: respect for Art, That's what I'm thinking of.
- 21:27Speaker 1: The Falcons. But I think it's between the Saints and
- 21:29Speaker 1: the Panthers.
- 21:29Speaker 3: I think the Panthers have a very good roster in
- 21:31Speaker 3: their quarterback a way, and they are hiring a coach
- 21:34Speaker 3: Frank Wright.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, good coach. I can't believe the Indianapolis Colts got
- 21:38Speaker 1: rid of him.
- 21:39Speaker 3: May not believe that good coach. And you know, Rabe
- 21:41Speaker 3: always talked about the culture that the Colts had built,
- 21:44Speaker 3: Like every every time that we would play the Colts,
- 21:45Speaker 3: he would always go on and on about how they
- 21:47Speaker 3: are a team that's structured and culture wise put together
- 21:50Speaker 3: a lot like us.
- 21:50Speaker 1: The Titans, hard nosed team, great special teams, play hard
- 21:55Speaker 1: on defense, awareness, game awareness, situation the ball and off
- 22:00Speaker 1: and it's like it was always a game of chess
- 22:01Speaker 1: when you play the Colts.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And the Panthers brought in the boy Dangel Hall to
- 22:05Speaker 3: uh fill one of their coaching spots. Really Visa, Yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 3: I think the Hall is gonna be a helving it.
- 22:10Speaker 3: That is your boy, is my boy. I do think
- 22:14Speaker 3: I think right now it's safe to say that Saints
- 22:16Speaker 3: are the team the beats since they have the quarterback
- 22:18Speaker 3: and Derek Carr.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But I do think it's between the Panthers and Saints
- 22:22Speaker 1: this year. But boys, that we're a week away from
- 22:24Speaker 1: free agency madness, and we will see a lot more
- 22:27Speaker 1: things unfold in the next two weeks, especially those first
- 22:30Speaker 1: three days of free agency. We're gonna see what teams
- 22:33Speaker 1: are really going for it this year. And one team
- 22:35Speaker 1: you're taking a step back and saying, hey, we're in
- 22:36Speaker 1: a rebuilt situation. That's another one to keep the eye on.
- 22:38Speaker 1: The Titans on limbo. Boys, Titans are truly in purgatory.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Are they going to heaven or hell? This year? We
- 22:43Speaker 1: have no idea we are going to find out of it.
- 22:45Speaker 3: There will be teams you just don't make a lot
- 22:47Speaker 3: of movement, maybe because they feel good about the roster too,
- 22:49Speaker 3: and then they might just they like what they might
- 22:51Speaker 3: be able to get in the draft. The Chicago Bears,
- 22:55Speaker 3: it seems like it's out there now that they're willing
- 22:56Speaker 3: to trade the first overall pick. Tells you they feel
- 22:59Speaker 3: really good about justin fields and you got that first
- 23:01Speaker 3: overall pick. Dude, Bryce Young comes to mind, But you
- 23:05Speaker 3: got that first overall pick. A team that needs a
- 23:07Speaker 3: quarterback who might be willing to make some sacrifices to
- 23:09Speaker 3: make moves to get there.
- 23:11Speaker 1: It'll be interesting. It'll be fun too.
- 23:13Speaker 3: I think this is where it gets fun for everybody
- 23:15Speaker 3: who you know, like myself now who's fell back and
- 23:17Speaker 3: played the fantasy football.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Game a little bit more. These these are these are
- 23:20Speaker 1: the times where you get a little excited. What are
- 23:21Speaker 1: you excited for? Uh? What are you hoping to see
- 23:26Speaker 1: next week? What free agency opens up? Personally? Taylorwan, Well,
- 23:30Speaker 1: that's a kind of it's kind of a vague, broadstroke
- 23:32Speaker 1: question because like obviously, playing for the Times for the
- 23:35Speaker 1: nine years, I want to see what they do and
- 23:36Speaker 1: where they feel like they need to fill holes in
- 23:38Speaker 1: free agency. And then once they do that.
- 23:39Speaker 3: And I'm talking about player, Oh, Taylor Wan, free agency
- 23:43Speaker 3: opens it obviously, it's it's a situation for you too.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I guess we are the best unemployed NFL
- 23:48Speaker 3: podcasts in the world right now. But what are you
- 23:51Speaker 3: now that you're on the open market, what are you
- 23:53Speaker 3: hoping to Well, I can technically be signed by a
- 23:56Speaker 3: team right now. Here's how my situation would work. I've
- 23:58Speaker 3: had lots of teams. I've had lots of teams reach
- 24:00Speaker 3: out to about a dozen teams. We've had conversations. There
- 24:04Speaker 3: are teams that are interested, there are teams that are
- 24:05Speaker 3: just kind of poking around. The next step for me
- 24:08Speaker 3: would be to go see them, to fly to these
- 24:10Speaker 3: different establishments and have their doctors put their hands on me.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I've told my guys like, hey, listen, let me get
- 24:16Speaker 3: my knee a little healthier. Let me see how this
- 24:17Speaker 3: thing's going to work. Because I've already said it once,
- 24:19Speaker 3: I'll say it a thousand times. I'm not going to
- 24:20Speaker 3: play this game to collect to check unless I know
- 24:23Speaker 3: I can really be something on the field that's worth
- 24:26Speaker 3: paying for. Now, my contract wouldn't be, you know, some
- 24:29Speaker 3: sort of massive contract or anything like that, but it's
- 24:31Speaker 3: going to be a longer game for me.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I think my signing would be more towards camp and
- 24:39Speaker 1: that type of situation, given that my knee is able
- 24:41Speaker 1: to do the things that I wanted to do.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Tweets that were going around yesterday because you said it
- 24:45Speaker 3: on an NFL network. By the way, you did a
- 24:46Speaker 3: phenomenal job. I appreciate that, buddy covering the draft, but
- 24:50Speaker 3: there are a lot of tweets circulating because you said
- 24:53Speaker 3: that you would not play right tackle.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think you'd be good at it, so
- 24:57Speaker 1: that I wouldn't be good at it. It's also my
- 24:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I know I would not be good at
- 25:00Speaker 1: that's fair to say I would be a dog shit
- 25:02Speaker 1: right tackle. I literally played right the only time I've
- 25:03Speaker 1: ever played right tack on my life. Not saying you
- 25:06Speaker 1: can say that you are more than we'll going to
- 25:08Speaker 1: stay because.
- 25:08Speaker 5: It's the truth.
- 25:09Speaker 3: In one of your little draft videos, I saw you
- 25:11Speaker 3: work on the right side when you did a little circles.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And that was the thing I was in the
- 25:14Speaker 1: combin I was that was the most stressed out about
- 25:16Speaker 1: that situation. Right, really, Oh I'll fall, don't fall? Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And if you you can watch the fluidity and those
- 25:22Speaker 1: if those videos, if you want to go back and
- 25:23Speaker 1: look at it. My my my reach in my stance
- 25:26Speaker 1: is not as far. My hip does rotate a little
- 25:28Speaker 1: bit more where it opens up to the left because
- 25:30Speaker 1: I've been in left handed stance for so long, so
- 25:32Speaker 1: when I go to getting a right handed stance, it's
- 25:34Speaker 1: it's basically like, folks, if you if you're if you're
- 25:36Speaker 1: right handed, go eat with your left hand. That's kind
- 25:38Speaker 1: of how it feels to me to be a right tackle.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I will not play right tackle. I'll never play right tackle.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That is a non negotiable for me. So all those
- 25:46Speaker 1: teams out there say, hey, come to the forty nine
- 25:48Speaker 1: ers and play right tackle. No, I'm not gonna do that.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Come come to this team play it. No I am
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm and that's not like that is a little bit
- 25:56Speaker 1: of ego, but it's also I I'm good at one thing.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I am not like a Swiss Army knife of ability
- 26:04Speaker 1: when it comes to the NFL. I am good at
- 26:06Speaker 1: one individual position, and that is the left tackle position.
- 26:09Speaker 1: To play across the entire line of script. You know, no,
- 26:12Speaker 1: not like you, but you know what they say, the
- 26:14Speaker 1: more you can do, the less you get paid. So
- 26:15Speaker 1: if you're good at just one thing, thank god. The uh.
- 26:19Speaker 1: But yeah, I'm excited to see all that all all
- 26:21Speaker 1: unfolds because there are some teams out there that that
- 26:23Speaker 1: have reached out, some contenders, some teams that are trying
- 26:26Speaker 1: to work their way up, and it's, uh, it'll be
- 26:28Speaker 1: cool to see how they attack this free agency draft.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I think it's a good insight too that you give
- 26:33Speaker 3: on that perspective, just because it is easy to get
- 26:35Speaker 3: caught up and like you know, playing mad and then
- 26:38Speaker 3: moving a left tackle to a right tackle, they drop
- 26:40Speaker 3: a little bit and overall but ultimately, like hearing you
- 26:42Speaker 3: talk about it, you brought up the analogy of if
- 26:44Speaker 3: you're right handed, trying to eat with your left hand,
- 26:45Speaker 3: that's how you feel. So, yeah, you're not gonna Some
- 26:49Speaker 3: guys are just strictly like they're extremely good at one
- 26:52Speaker 3: thing and that's what you want to do and that's
- 26:53Speaker 3: where you feel best that right.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Uh.
- 26:55Speaker 3: But I think it's good to speak to just because
- 26:57Speaker 3: everybody out there is like, man, why not it seems
- 26:58Speaker 3: like you could just and by listening to you, it
- 27:01Speaker 3: sounds like it's just not that simple.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Now, it's it's not in the cars for me. From
- 27:06Speaker 1: I can't do it physically. I guess I could if
- 27:08Speaker 1: I worked at it hard enough, but I'm not going
- 27:09Speaker 1: to because then the other part comes into it where
- 27:12Speaker 1: I have a weird thing about being a left tackle.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's the position when I was growing up that like,
- 27:16Speaker 1: if you're the stud, if you're the dude that can
- 27:18Speaker 1: move his feed well in his athletic that's the position
- 27:20Speaker 1: you play. And I took that to heart and so
- 27:22Speaker 1: I'm big on that. A guy that can do both things.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Nick potite Perer the right tackle for the Tennessee Titans.
- 27:26Speaker 1: He was rookie this past year. I asked him because
- 27:29Speaker 1: he played left tackle at Ohiose State before he came
- 27:31Speaker 1: to the Titans, and I was like, hey man, how
- 27:33Speaker 1: do you feel in the right handed stands? And he's like,
- 27:35Speaker 1: it feels the exact same to me. It's nothing. So
- 27:37Speaker 1: he has that ability to kind of work across the
- 27:40Speaker 1: board from an old linement online positional standpoint and keep
- 27:43Speaker 1: the same production level alive, which is good for the
- 27:45Speaker 1: Titans because you need guys like that, Like it's great
- 27:47Speaker 1: to have a guy like me that can do something
- 27:48Speaker 1: at a high level for a long time in one position,
- 27:51Speaker 1: but a lot of times having dudes you can move
- 27:53Speaker 1: in and out, whether it's interior X tier that is.
- 27:55Speaker 1: That is a good thing to have because you know,
- 27:57Speaker 1: it kind of gives you more depth with one guy
- 27:59Speaker 1: kind of like you can work all across the punt
- 28:01Speaker 1: the punt, uh, all across, all across. Yeah, your core
- 28:04Speaker 1: four tea, you need me a wing everything, but get
- 28:06Speaker 1: on the ball, get on the ball on the line
- 28:09Speaker 1: of scrimmage.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yeah, to pass rush absolutely, Like just because I'm an
- 28:12Speaker 3: inside backer, doesn't mean I could play outside backer right,
- 28:14Speaker 3: So yeah, I feel you on that.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It would it would essentially be like that discomfort you
- 28:18Speaker 1: have is the discomfort I would have.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Like anytime I would have to play on the left
- 28:21Speaker 3: side for punt team, I always felt way more vulnerable
- 28:24Speaker 3: because I enjoy the right I feel way more comfortable
- 28:27Speaker 3: in my stands and my strength and everything else.
- 28:29Speaker 1: On the right side. Got a great kick, good kicks.
- 28:31Speaker 1: We've seen the videos out there. Wing too. Holders are square.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You have a good post hand, post hand, Yeah, it's solid,
- 28:37Speaker 1: good eyes and too pun team. You're holding up. You
- 28:40Speaker 1: know there's a certain amount of time you had a
- 28:41Speaker 1: hold up. Yeah, and so you good. Do good with
- 28:43Speaker 1: that post hands. He needs to try to run a
- 28:44Speaker 1: game or something like that, and you win with your eyes.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You win with your eyes.
- 28:47Speaker 8: Hey, I got a question for you, Taylor, take money
- 28:50Speaker 8: aside of everything. When you're looking like at other teams,
- 28:55Speaker 8: what are like the top three?
- 28:56Speaker 1: You're like a couple of.
- 28:57Speaker 8: Things it is most appealing to you from a franchise perspective,
- 29:01Speaker 8: Like is it the location? Would it be like players
- 29:04Speaker 8: or facilities? Because it's like a fan I like that's interesting.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Like, yeah, uh for me, question, I don't let I've
- 29:11Speaker 1: only known one facility, and that facility started garbage and
- 29:13Speaker 1: got a whole lot better as the time went. Still
- 29:15Speaker 1: needs a lot of work. But oh yeah, yeah times, Yeah, yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 1: they're they're they're middle of the road. I don't know
- 29:20Speaker 1: that you would know that. You would know that much
- 29:22Speaker 1: better than me in those in those grades came out,
- 29:24Speaker 1: we could talk. Then we were middle of the road
- 29:26Speaker 1: the whole time. Yeah, I could not care less about facilities.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Location is one thing, but really, here's like my critier.
- 29:34Speaker 1: If a team on to play for, I want to
- 29:35Speaker 1: play for a team that has the opportunity to win
- 29:37Speaker 1: a Super Bowl. I want I here comes the ego again.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I wear the number seventy seven. I want that fucking number.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And if I go to a team that has a
- 29:45Speaker 1: guy with seventy seven, hey, Bud, I enjoy it because
- 29:48Speaker 1: you're about to get paid. I'm paying you for that number.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I well know who's your therapist. I need a we
- 29:52Speaker 3: gotta get on the phone. Then we're talking about a number. Yeah,
- 29:55Speaker 3: we're talking about a number.
- 29:56Speaker 1: A number. Yeah, we're talking about a number. And then
- 29:59Speaker 1: my third cart team and This is not a joke.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Will Compton has to come with too. That's not a joke.
- 30:04Speaker 1: So if you want me, you got to get Will.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And I've already said, I said an NFL network yesterday,
- 30:07Speaker 1: I will Will. He will play for minimum. He will
- 30:10Speaker 1: play for minimum. He's sitting up now.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't appreciate you being my agent and from
- 30:14Speaker 3: that same point, playing for minimum because we got a market.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Now mean we got like I'm saying, like, you've already
- 30:19Speaker 3: established that I would play for minimum, like I would
- 30:22Speaker 3: never pay you to be my agent, because that's that's
- 30:24Speaker 3: as bad.
- 30:25Speaker 1: As a gaint. I said, hey, you will play for minimum.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I'll get you minimum, but I'll get you a week
- 30:29Speaker 1: one roster, so you know you paid the entire year.
- 30:32Speaker 1: See that. Now that's that's solid. We can talk about it.
- 30:36Speaker 1: We talk about it. That's fair enough. You know, I
- 30:38Speaker 1: get you know what I mean. Never make I never
- 30:40Speaker 1: I never like to make it. Will do unique quirks.
- 30:43Speaker 1: If you were saying, hey, is will fly by the
- 30:45Speaker 1: seat of his pants kind of guy? Absolutely not. He
- 30:47Speaker 1: is actually actually the opposite of that individual. But yeah, dude,
- 30:51Speaker 1: I appreciate that question. I don't think too much about facilities, sauce.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I've been through the worst of them, and now I
- 30:55Speaker 1: guess I've been in the middle of the road to them.
- 30:56Speaker 1: But super Bowl Contender seventy seven Will Compton, those are
- 31:00Speaker 1: the three things enjoy that that is and that is,
- 31:04Speaker 1: that's not a joke. And I played left tackle. There's
- 31:07Speaker 1: four so yeah that that's really it, but not so
- 31:12Speaker 1: much about it.
- 31:12Speaker 3: What if you got, uh, super Bowl contender Will Compton, No.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Number seventy seven, Oh, super Bowl contender seventy seven, Will Compton.
- 31:22Speaker 3: But they wanted you to play right tackle because you
- 31:24Speaker 3: just said left tackles like four.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Oh No, I've already established very heavily in the last
- 31:29Speaker 1: five minutes of this podcast, I'm not playing right tackle. Yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 1: put me on the right tackle. Put me put the
- 31:34Speaker 1: right tackle. Go ahead, because guess what happens. You guys
- 31:36Speaker 1: are gonna lose so many fucking gamesff like that, Huh.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I don't believe myself a right tackle, but I believe
- 31:42Speaker 1: myself at left tackle absolutely. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, wow, yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 1: clearly so believe. But you did frame it like you
- 31:48Speaker 1: don't believe. You usually said you don't believe in yourself
- 31:50Speaker 1: like that.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Because you just said I'm gonna give up a lot
- 31:51Speaker 3: of sacks and we're gonna suck right Absolutely. That literally
- 31:54Speaker 3: says I suck at right tackle. Ye, it's bad. I
- 32:00Speaker 3: would look like, uh, the Chandler Jones game. Every game.
- 32:04Speaker 3: It doesn't matter who the fucking individual is at right tackle.
- 32:06Speaker 3: That's how the game would look.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So if you guys want that right tackle, got ahead
- 32:11Speaker 1: and sign me. Then the weekend, what are out standing
- 32:16Speaker 1: weekend for the boys? I hope you guys are falling
- 32:18Speaker 1: along weekend well, Compton went to Calabasas I went to Indianapolis.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'd love to start with you will because I've done
- 32:23Speaker 1: a lot of words in this in this part, and
- 32:24Speaker 1: I like to take a little bit of a break
- 32:26Speaker 1: talk to us about the fight. Companion. Dude, it was
- 32:29Speaker 1: a good fucking time. Yeah, Like it was a good hang.
- 32:31Speaker 3: It felt like a little pre It felt like a
- 32:33Speaker 3: little we were about to have a little slumper party.
- 32:35Speaker 1: That's all.
- 32:35Speaker 3: That's how high the vibes were. Really, I'm talking, we're
- 32:37Speaker 3: talking about wild shit.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I threw in the question I love to throw in,
- 32:40Speaker 3: like what's your price to suck a dick?
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:42Speaker 3: To ram pays Jackson, which I thought would be number one.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Rampayed Jackson one of my favorite fighters of all time.
- 32:47Speaker 3: The only afflictioning shirt I ever wore in high school
- 32:49Speaker 3: was Rampaged Jackson.
- 32:51Speaker 1: So when he came in, I had a little bit
- 32:52Speaker 1: of like, fuck, that's fucking rampage Jacksman, you know what
- 32:55Speaker 1: I mean.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Ye. By the end of it, bro, I mean, it
- 32:58Speaker 3: was a good time. I got a little loop, I
- 33:00Speaker 3: get a little sauced up on the on the whiskey. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 3: the tiger, thick whiskey, phenomenal whiskey, very smooth, sire.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You see your eyes kind of doing this as the
- 33:07Speaker 1: show went on longer and longer. Oh you was little, yeah,
- 33:11Speaker 1: of course, Yeah, yeah, dude. It was a good time.
- 33:12Speaker 3: It was a good hang with good laughs, good jokes.
- 33:15Speaker 3: We're watching the fights. I sometimes I forgot that the
- 33:17Speaker 3: fights were moving on because we're just the boys were
- 33:20Speaker 3: just in it having camaraderie. The vibes were high. But
- 33:21Speaker 3: it was a fucking good time. I would love to
- 33:23Speaker 3: do it again. Be was texting talking about you know,
- 33:26Speaker 3: everybody was raving about the comera or the chemistry going
- 33:28Speaker 3: on and everything else. It's like, would love to have
- 33:31Speaker 3: you back. So it's awesome though. I'm all for it
- 33:33Speaker 3: that she was that she was a lot of fun.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Rampage bro, Like, that's so cool, rampage Jackson.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yeah, some of the stories he was telling about he
- 33:41Speaker 1: grew up and his cousin and all that shit like that.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Was talking about how he lost with Virginia five years.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Old, which I don't even know that's possible. I don't either,
- 33:49Speaker 3: but he was talking about it and some of the stuff.
- 33:52Speaker 3: I do want to withhold because I want to get
- 33:53Speaker 3: him on the bus. Yeah, and I want him to
- 33:55Speaker 3: tell those same stories again, talking recapping him him talking
- 33:58Speaker 3: about hide and.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Go get It? Yeah, that part I did not hear
- 34:01Speaker 1: that part.
- 34:01Speaker 3: You know, normally, you grow up as a child, if
- 34:03Speaker 3: you're in a decent you know home, Yeah, decent home.
- 34:07Speaker 1: You you play hide and go seek.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Some of these boys out here, which I learned in
- 34:11Speaker 3: training camp with Washington, some of these boys are.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Out here playing something called hide and go get it.
- 34:17Speaker 1: You're saying boys pretty hard, like you're saying it in
- 34:20Speaker 1: a unique way. In what kind of way this boys
- 34:23Speaker 1: out here? Oh you know what I'm saying me? Yeah, No,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I'm thinking you might be a little bit I think if.
- 34:29Speaker 3: You, I think, if you're not racist, you just don't
- 34:31Speaker 3: have like I'm not even thinking about that, you know
- 34:33Speaker 3: what I mean. I'm thinking some of the boys number one,
- 34:36Speaker 3: I say boys literally, like that's part of my language,
- 34:38Speaker 3: is part of.
- 34:40Speaker 1: My teammates play this game called hide and Go get
- 34:43Speaker 1: It with their friends. What does that mean? I can
- 34:44Speaker 1: go get it? Is you hide like you're playing think
- 34:47Speaker 1: of hide and seek?
- 34:48Speaker 3: Yeah, but the many the manuye you find them, you
- 34:51Speaker 3: get to dry hump them or do whatever for like
- 34:54Speaker 3: five minutes. Yeah, I'm not fucking joking. I didn't get raped. Hey,
- 35:03Speaker 3: we had once he made man. He was so funny.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I won't say his name, but dude, he was fucking
- 35:09Speaker 3: You would go and it's one of those guys you
- 35:11Speaker 3: want to you hope there's an open spot at the
- 35:12Speaker 3: table because you want to sit and listen to some
- 35:14Speaker 3: of the sheet.
- 35:14Speaker 1: He's gonna say. Yeah, and he was talking about hide
- 35:17Speaker 1: and go get it.
- 35:18Speaker 3: And he's from Mississippi, so he had he had his
- 35:20Speaker 3: accent going on. He's like, man, some of the females
- 35:22Speaker 3: i't Finally they'd be like, oh no, he'll come here,
- 35:24Speaker 3: come here, bro, when we're just dying laughing, like obviously
- 35:27Speaker 3: laughing at that is like you know, I'm thinking of
- 35:30Speaker 3: I'm thinking of the humor of him telling the story.
- 35:32Speaker 3: But yeah, they would play this game called Hide and
- 35:34Speaker 3: Go Get It. Now all their friends they'd get together
- 35:36Speaker 3: they play Hide and Go get It. If you get found,
- 35:38Speaker 3: you get dry humped, you make out, I don't know,
- 35:41Speaker 3: you do whatever you want.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I think that's a game. That's a game. Wow.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I think if we get this clip, there will probably
- 35:45Speaker 3: be a lot of people out there and be like, yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 3: we played that game.
- 35:49Speaker 1: That's a wild fucking story. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I
- 35:51Speaker 1: love to have Rampage Jackson on the show. Yeah. I
- 35:53Speaker 1: thought you did a really good job too. I will say.
- 35:55Speaker 1: My one little deal I didn't like about the YouTube
- 35:58Speaker 1: streaming was there was no comments. We're like, people watching
- 36:01Speaker 1: can kind of just like chill and oh really each other.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I didn't know that. Yeah it was. That
- 36:07Speaker 1: was the only bummer because I was kind of looking
- 36:08Speaker 1: forward to sitting there watching you guys talk about because
- 36:10Speaker 1: I also had the fights up, but I was gonna
- 36:12Speaker 1: I was kind of a part of the two. I
- 36:13Speaker 1: was gonna be in the comment section on It was
- 36:15Speaker 1: fun though. Man, it was a good time. The hotel.
- 36:18Speaker 3: They put me in a super nice, very nice, very
- 36:20Speaker 3: nice bed, comfortable you felt like you get lost in it.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Yeah, around, but it was a good time. Man. It
- 36:26Speaker 1: was fun.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Take that a couple of pillows. The pillows made it.
- 36:34Speaker 3: The pillows survived, but barely. Not really, not really. I
- 36:39Speaker 3: feel like I I've matured a little bit. I like
- 36:42Speaker 3: to think I've matured a little bit to where that
- 36:44Speaker 3: only happens. That thought only happens rarely on occasion, So
- 36:50Speaker 3: I'm not looking at pillow sideways.
- 36:52Speaker 1: The thoughts really happened, though. When you get to a hotel.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Room, yeah yeah, when you sit up in a hotel room,
- 36:57Speaker 3: your animal brain turns on and I'm gonna do some
- 37:00Speaker 3: crazy shitn't here by myself?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, no doubt, no doubt. That is how the fun.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It was fun talk about talk about Adianapolis and adian
- 37:07Speaker 1: Appolis was great. Man. I was pretty stressed out in
- 37:10Speaker 1: the beginning of the week because I didn't know what
- 37:11Speaker 1: the hell I had to wear if I had to
- 37:12Speaker 1: wear a suit and not wear suit, like, I don't
- 37:14Speaker 1: know what the dress code was, and I didn't want
- 37:15Speaker 1: to be the only guy there not wearing a suit,
- 37:17Speaker 1: So that was kind of the only stress I really had.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And then once I found out during the live stream
- 37:21Speaker 1: it was kind of set up like the college football
- 37:24Speaker 1: playoff was, where we're on the field, we're watching drills,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and we're just talking about what we're seeing as that's
- 37:29Speaker 1: going on. I was with Sean O'Hara, I was with
- 37:31Speaker 1: the legendary Joe Thomas. Dion Dawkins, the left having for
- 37:33Speaker 1: the Buffalo Bills was there and myself, that was great, dude.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I had a great time with them, a lot of
- 37:38Speaker 1: good chemistry with those guys. I've always enjoyed each of
- 37:40Speaker 1: them and our own individual ways. But when you brought
- 37:43Speaker 1: us four together, I thought we did a great job.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I thought Sean and Joe, being the professionals that they are,
- 37:48Speaker 1: really did a good job of kind of pointing the
- 37:52Speaker 1: entire show and then giving me and Dean opportunities to
- 37:55Speaker 1: speak on expertise. Even though they are, you know, especially Joe,
- 37:59Speaker 1: they're they're just the bas built like a house. Yeah,
- 38:01Speaker 1: he's absolutely fucking unit. And my favorite thing about Dion
- 38:04Speaker 1: nobody just formula with that man. If you look at
- 38:06Speaker 1: his profile picture on Twitter, I hope he can put
- 38:08Speaker 1: his little thing up on YouTube. Get the boy a
- 38:09Speaker 1: little bit of love. But his profile Twitter is him
- 38:12Speaker 1: rounding a base at a softball game with a vest
- 38:14Speaker 1: on and he got titties and stomach going everywhere. Dude,
- 38:17Speaker 1: he's you don't know what direction he's going on that.
- 38:20Speaker 1: He's just fucking living it. Dude. I really like Dion.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I think he is uh really, Yeah, there's the picture
- 38:26Speaker 1: right there. He's a he's a great talent. He's a
- 38:29Speaker 1: great talent. He's a guy that you can just tell
- 38:31Speaker 1: just doesn't take it too seriously. So loved being around him.
- 38:34Speaker 1: His keyword of the day was swag because that was
- 38:36Speaker 1: a I don't know, whatever you want to say. They
- 38:38Speaker 1: pulled up videos of us and everything. It was just
- 38:41Speaker 1: a cool time. Mam. You can just tell how chizzled
- 38:44Speaker 1: Joe Thomas is. Yeah, Joe looks great. Chizzled Joe looks phenomenal. Yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: he's getting down. I think he's about to go on
- 38:50Speaker 1: a hike to Machu Pichu.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Is that what's called?
- 38:53Speaker 1: He's about to do that. He's about two hundred and
- 38:56Speaker 1: forty seven pounds right now, but the he looks fantastic.
- 38:59Speaker 1: He was on the field.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I saw a photo of him on the field with
- 39:03Speaker 3: this massive left tackle.
- 39:05Speaker 1: That was that was Paris Johnson Junior from Ohio State.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I think it was a photo you posted
- 39:10Speaker 3: some about tit could potentially get him. Yeah, and it's
- 39:13Speaker 3: just bro the amount of weight look at him in
- 39:16Speaker 3: that photo. Yeah, the physique Joe has now compared to
- 39:19Speaker 3: standing next to a left tackle is insane. And by
- 39:21Speaker 3: the way, that what's what's the kid's name, Paris Johnson Jr.
- 39:24Speaker 1: His quads, Oh my god, he definitely has that. But
- 39:28Speaker 1: he's got that skinnier lay build Paris does, but very
- 39:31Speaker 1: athletically built he is. He's a guy when you watch
- 39:34Speaker 1: when you watch Paris' film, he's not the most technically
- 39:37Speaker 1: sound offensive lineman on the board right now that's going
- 39:39Speaker 1: to go to the tackle at Northwestern Skeronski. He is
- 39:42Speaker 1: probably the best, most well developed player that someone's gonna
- 39:44Speaker 1: get put in right away through either a tackle or guard.
- 39:47Speaker 1: But when you have a guy like Paris, Paris is
- 39:48Speaker 1: a dude with extreme athletic ability that's gonna be able
- 39:51Speaker 1: to go in, be molded and shaped and could potentially
- 39:54Speaker 1: be a perennial Pro Bowl guy. He probably has the
- 39:55Speaker 1: highest ceiling of any guy in that draft. I'm a
- 39:58Speaker 1: big fan of Paris student. He was very I saw
- 40:00Speaker 1: him on the field.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Go to the Twitter photo Taylor posted with Joe Thomas. Yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 3: because there's a yeah, different one Joe's on the field.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Where go to Taylor's profile.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It might be that I work to be on Joe's
- 40:12Speaker 1: Instagram as well. There it is right there. Yeah.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Man, he's got Yeah, he's he's a smaller cast with
- 40:24Speaker 3: that VMO is definitely storming outside.
- 40:26Speaker 1: He's built very well, and of all the drills, the
- 40:28Speaker 1: changing direction drills and all that. Because he didn't run
- 40:31Speaker 1: I don't know if he did the vertical of the
- 40:32Speaker 1: broad or anything like that, but he didn't run the forty,
- 40:34Speaker 1: which I was I was disappointed in because I wanted
- 40:36Speaker 1: to see it. I don't think it affected his draft
- 40:38Speaker 1: stock at all. But the forties weren't as fast as
- 40:40Speaker 1: I thought they were gonna be. I think the fastest
- 40:41Speaker 1: time was like a four nine nine, and I thought
- 40:44Speaker 1: he was a guy with the athletic ability that could
- 40:45Speaker 1: probably get out and get under that four nine. Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Long arms, long arms, Yeah, dude, he he's got He's
- 40:52Speaker 1: got a good opportunity and they're doing they're doing the
- 40:54Speaker 1: bench press today. So I did that and I was
- 40:57Speaker 1: able to go upstairs with Daniel, Jeremiah and Rich and dude.
- 41:00Speaker 1: That was probably one of the more probably the highlight
- 41:04Speaker 1: of my day. I loved being around those guys in
- 41:05Speaker 1: the field, but being around Rich and getting to know
- 41:08Speaker 1: Rich for the last nine ten years and having that
- 41:11Speaker 1: kind of chemistry with him, and I've known Daniel for
- 41:13Speaker 1: nine years as well, so it was just very comfortable,
- 41:16Speaker 1: very fun to be up there. It's very coolesteing a
- 41:18Speaker 1: bird's eye view of those guys running the forties and
- 41:21Speaker 1: just kind of picking Daniel's brain the way he looks
- 41:23Speaker 1: at things. We talked aboutlu It's Olu or oh Law
- 41:27Speaker 1: the Center for University of Michigan. He was the Remington
- 41:30Speaker 1: Award winner and the first Allen Trophy winner in Michigan history.
- 41:32Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, these draft boards come
- 41:34Speaker 1: out and he's like the third center on the board, Like,
- 41:35Speaker 1: how does that even fucking happen? Daniels explained to me,
- 41:38Speaker 1: like that's a media base award that he's a part
- 41:41Speaker 1: of the Joe Moore Award winning offensive line boom, and
- 41:43Speaker 1: now you have his words, not mine. The professionals now
- 41:47Speaker 1: deciding who is the best in the draft as forest movement.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'll tell you who was another good one, Mitchell, You're
- 41:51Speaker 1: gonna love this is that center, that center for Ohio State.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I thought did a great job of moving mobility. Not
- 41:57Speaker 1: built like a house like our boy Olu here. But
- 42:00Speaker 1: that man. I think his name is Luke Luke Whipel
- 42:03Speaker 1: Luke wipel I believe.
- 42:04Speaker 6: Is his name.
- 42:05Speaker 1: He's a center w y P l E. Wipeler. Yeah,
- 42:14Speaker 1: he did a good job, not he He definitely has
- 42:16Speaker 1: more that Jason Kelsey builds. He can move around very well,
- 42:20Speaker 1: very fluid athlete. I thought he did a good job.
- 42:21Speaker 1: He's gonna have a he's gonna make himself in a
- 42:23Speaker 1: nice little career in the NFL. But it was fun, man.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I had a great time. Gotten the gott in the car.
- 42:28Speaker 1: After that, went to uh Saint Elmos, grabbed the cocktail
- 42:31Speaker 1: sauce for us. Got about six bottles too, sir, Did
- 42:34Speaker 1: you bring it? I didn't bring it. I'll bring it tomorrow.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Oh my my driver, my driver, his name is Night.
- 42:40Speaker 1: He picks me up at seven am and drove me
- 42:42Speaker 1: all the way to Indianapoli because it's a littly faster than
- 42:44Speaker 1: getting on an airplane. After I was like, hey, you hungry,
- 42:47Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I'm hungry, and I was like, let's
- 42:48Speaker 1: cook at dinner. So it's just me and him at
- 42:50Speaker 1: Saint Elmo's in there. Got a mistake oscar style? It
- 42:54Speaker 1: was nice? Was the was this from cocktail? I had
- 42:56Speaker 1: two of them, fire bro, because you know what, the
- 42:59Speaker 1: teeth I can't chewing, like too far up, So I
- 43:01Speaker 1: was really chewing in the back and that ship was you.
- 43:04Speaker 1: That show has moving me around a little bit back there,
- 43:06Speaker 1: bub noses, noses dripping a little bit, eyes were watering.
- 43:10Speaker 1: But buddy, I was having a great fucking time with it.
- 43:14Speaker 1: To chase. Yeah, Mitchie, what you got.
- 43:16Speaker 5: For Jack's sake? What any any movement on Rich getting
- 43:20Speaker 5: him on the on the bus?
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah, Rich is down to come on the bus. It's
- 43:23Speaker 1: just a matter of getting him out here. I think
- 43:25Speaker 1: these next couple of months might be the best time
- 43:27Speaker 1: to get Rich out when he's not doing a show
- 43:29Speaker 1: because the drafts in a few months, uh freeze. He's
- 43:33Speaker 1: gonna hit. So it all depends on his schedule. But
- 43:35Speaker 1: he for those of you listening. Rich has tried to
- 43:38Speaker 1: come on the podcast on three separatecasions or two separate
- 43:41Speaker 1: occasions camp last year, and that's a super Bowl super Bowl. Yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 1: and so we actually declined that one. I said that
- 43:49Speaker 1: on NFL Network. But a great dude. He's gonna be
- 43:52Speaker 1: a great hang when he finally comes on, and it'll
- 43:54Speaker 1: be judgment day for Jack and we'll see everything after that.
- 43:56Speaker 8: I have a pretty strong hunch that that'll be a
- 43:59Speaker 8: well kept seecret.
- 44:00Speaker 1: And I think he's just gonna show up one day.
- 44:02Speaker 1: That's just my thoughts on it. You know, I didn't
- 44:04Speaker 1: think about that, but maybe we just do that nice
- 44:06Speaker 1: a little surprised ranchising coming on. Now, if you do
- 44:10Speaker 1: win that Chevrolet, do you want us to get the Chevrolet?
- 44:13Speaker 1: Win Rich comes on or after which comes on and
- 44:15Speaker 1: we've gone through all of our homework, you get the Chevrolet.
- 44:19Speaker 1: M I don't know. That's all. That's the game we're playing,
- 44:25Speaker 1: isn't it. I'll tell you who just got a Chevrolet
- 44:28Speaker 1: is trailing Burks, which says a lot about the career
- 44:30Speaker 1: He's about to have. Very durable, reliable individual hopefully coming
- 44:33Speaker 1: in the coming years. He just I saw on the
- 44:35Speaker 1: Instagram today he got himself a z R one good
- 44:38Speaker 1: looking vehicle. It's probably the same one I got. Yeah,
- 44:41Speaker 1: probably it seemed like I had a little left on
- 44:43Speaker 1: a little more meat potatoes on whatever that or something.
- 44:48Speaker 1: The twenty three I think is nice. Bro.
- 44:52Speaker 3: That shit is fucking awesome. I need to get me some.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It's got nice tires on, but I need some one.
- 44:57Speaker 3: I need a little bit wider to where it barely
- 44:59Speaker 3: sticks out, barely barely remember my old platinum flex like that, bro,
- 45:05Speaker 3: where it just kind of sticks out a little bit
- 45:07Speaker 3: on the side.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Put some put some rims on it. No, no, no,
- 45:11Speaker 1: not that vibe, not that vibe.
- 45:12Speaker 3: No, I'm not talking about jacking it up and doing
- 45:14Speaker 3: all that stuff to where you got the tires wide.
- 45:16Speaker 1: You know.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I do have a small piece, but I don't need
- 45:18Speaker 3: to do the whole over conversation on it.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Do you need to put like a nice little leveling
- 45:21Speaker 1: kid on it? Though you got one. I think I'm
- 45:23Speaker 1: gonna keep it as is.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I think I want tires and I want some wheels
- 45:26Speaker 3: on it, like some I want it kind of.
- 45:28Speaker 1: I want it kind of to be like the don't
- 45:32Speaker 1: say that bleep that out, thank you yeah, yeah, definitely bleep. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: but yeah, I want to I want to be like
- 45:38Speaker 1: my did you have faces tires? Will the tires come
- 45:43Speaker 1: out a little bit outside the wheel wells? Yeah, it
- 45:46Speaker 1: stuck out. That's what I was just saying.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I want the tires to come out just a little
- 45:49Speaker 3: bit like I don't want it to be like a
- 45:51Speaker 3: like the competitor that starts with an R word A
- 45:53Speaker 3: R A P.
- 45:54Speaker 1: It's like a dinosaur. I don't want to be like that.
- 45:56Speaker 1: It's too wide. Yeah, but I do want to have
- 45:59Speaker 1: a little bit bit. Yeah, there's a There is too
- 46:02Speaker 1: much you can do to a truck, for sure. I
- 46:03Speaker 1: think the way you had your last truck very classy,
- 46:06Speaker 1: very well put together. But I had enough on fun
- 46:08Speaker 1: end to say, oh he put his nice little spin
- 46:09Speaker 1: on it. I do when I get my Chevy. I
- 46:12Speaker 1: think we should do this. We should get Cebe radios,
- 46:16Speaker 1: BB radios CB radios are what like, uh like truckers radios,
- 46:20Speaker 1: and we would stay on a frequency so we can
- 46:21Speaker 1: talk to each other. Yeah. I love a big, big,
- 46:23Speaker 1: wobbly fucking wire in the back of your truck. Yeah,
- 46:27Speaker 1: I would love that as long as it's got it
- 46:28Speaker 1: on and off switch is such a couck dude. With
- 46:33Speaker 1: that being said, now that the vibes are higher than ever,
- 46:35Speaker 1: let's go to shout out no free shout out of
- 46:37Speaker 1: the week Boss. Are you ready or do you need
- 46:40Speaker 1: a second? My boy boss is ready. Let's hear what
- 46:42Speaker 1: you got.
- 46:44Speaker 6: My shout out this week is more of a hack.
- 46:46Speaker 6: It's putting your phone under your pillow. So if you
- 46:49Speaker 6: know you gotta wake up in the morning, you gotta
- 46:51Speaker 6: set your alarm a little earlier than probably who you're with,
- 46:54Speaker 6: your spouse, whatever, Your alarm won't wake them up, but
- 46:58Speaker 6: it'll wake you up by being under your pillow. Or
- 47:00Speaker 6: if you're listening to a podcast you don't want, you know,
- 47:02Speaker 6: to disturb the other person, slide that thing under your pillow.
- 47:04Speaker 6: You could listen without disturbing them.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Solid. That's solid. I mean if you like ear cancer,
- 47:11Speaker 1: that's something. Brother. The the the radiation beaming on your
- 47:15Speaker 1: fucking ear the whole.
- 47:16Speaker 8: Time, all issues that shil might start a fire. You're
- 47:19Speaker 8: my phone gets hot on.
- 47:20Speaker 3: We're gonna if we're getting into the if we're getting
- 47:22Speaker 3: into the radiation game, like having just our phone in
- 47:24Speaker 3: our pocket hurts with disastro.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You know what I do too. I put my phone
- 47:27Speaker 1: here on my sack when I'm driving direct direct radiation
- 47:33Speaker 1: on this I got injured. Eck. All right, well, jackie boy.
- 47:40Speaker 8: My shoutout if your shout out goes to a game
- 47:41Speaker 8: that I think we all know and love, but it's
- 47:43Speaker 8: an aspect of the game.
- 47:44Speaker 1: But it's pool.
- 47:45Speaker 8: And we're playing a little pool on Thursday night this
- 47:47Speaker 8: past week, and it's that one moment. You could literally
- 47:51Speaker 8: not have hit a shot all game, but if you
- 47:54Speaker 8: hit the fucking eight ball in gratch.
- 47:56Speaker 1: The record, it's literally you're the You're the king, You're
- 47:59Speaker 1: the here.
- 48:00Speaker 8: And there's like such a dopamine rush you get when
- 48:04Speaker 8: one hitting in the eight ball. But I think it's
- 48:06Speaker 8: even better when you've been doing well in a pool
- 48:08Speaker 8: game and you have a struggling partner and they're up
- 48:11Speaker 8: on that last eight ball shot and it might be
- 48:13Speaker 8: a little difficult, and you're like, all right, let's just
- 48:15Speaker 8: go ahead.
- 48:16Speaker 1: You're gonna miss.
- 48:17Speaker 8: Hopefully I'm gonna pick it up on my next shot,
- 48:19Speaker 8: and by the grace of God, this man sinks the
- 48:22Speaker 8: eight ball. It's almost better watching your boy hit one
- 48:25Speaker 8: in when he hasn't hit one in all day, somebody
- 48:27Speaker 8: shout out, no free Shadow goes is sinking that a
- 48:29Speaker 8: ball shot.
- 48:30Speaker 1: It's truly a rush, not a big billiards guy. But
- 48:33Speaker 1: I can see I can see the love there. I
- 48:35Speaker 1: can definitely see the love Mitchie, what you got home when.
- 48:39Speaker 3: You shake their hands after like because there's something different
- 48:42Speaker 3: about like a playing pool too, or some of them,
- 48:45Speaker 3: some of just those games that aren't like you know,
- 48:47Speaker 3: the main fucking games where you just shake hands after
- 48:49Speaker 3: a game's over, when you.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Win at pool and you go shake their hand and
- 48:52Speaker 1: the kind of drop turn your eye, Who's next? Yeah, bro?
- 48:58Speaker 5: And oh god, my shadow, no for you.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Shadow. This week goes to it's a feeling that like,
- 49:06Speaker 2: so I'm gonna start this over. Go ahead, you go
- 49:08Speaker 2: out on Saturday night, you have a good time with
- 49:10Speaker 2: the boys and everything. Sunday, you know, we wake up hangover, hungover,
- 49:13Speaker 2: just feeling like absolute dogshit. But my shoutow no fore
- 49:16Speaker 2: shoutout goes to that next day when your body completely
- 49:19Speaker 2: resets and you feel like a new human and the
- 49:21Speaker 2: hangover is gone and you just completely like it just
- 49:25Speaker 2: is a uphoric feeling of like you're back, I'm back.
- 49:28Speaker 2: This is this is how I should feel. I don't
- 49:30Speaker 2: know why I do it to myself every Saturday night,
- 49:33Speaker 2: but I like it makes you not want to drink again.
- 49:35Speaker 5: M so goes to that the day after the hangover,
- 49:39Speaker 5: the day after the.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Hangover, and it also gives you like a new found
- 49:42Speaker 1: like motivation as well. You're like, hey, I felt like shit,
- 49:44Speaker 1: I got to earn this Monday. I gotta make sure
- 49:47Speaker 1: this Monday is gonna be the best Monday ever and
- 49:48Speaker 1: kick this week off the right way. It's a solid
- 49:50Speaker 1: shot out no for shout out. Really, my shout out
- 49:53Speaker 1: no for shadow goes to.
- 49:56Speaker 3: The power trip you get from being in group one
- 49:59Speaker 3: or like a one through fifteen on a flight. I
- 50:03Speaker 3: was a little bit later on my on my layover
- 50:06Speaker 3: on my connecting flight in Houston, and uh so I
- 50:10Speaker 3: walked up and group two and three was going, but
- 50:12Speaker 3: I'm group one. So I got to walk down the
- 50:13Speaker 3: group one line and you know, you kind of like
- 50:15Speaker 3: look to the side like, hey, guys, I won at life.
- 50:17Speaker 3: So then you show them that. The lady's like, hey,
- 50:20Speaker 3: are you group one? And I'm like yeah, She's like
- 50:22Speaker 3: come on up here, and then you kind of hit
- 50:23Speaker 3: it and you know, you're just kind of like walking proudly.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Yeah, like you just yeah, or like you.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Know, everybody's lining up for the Southwest flight and then
- 50:32Speaker 3: you get to be like, hey, what number are you?
- 50:34Speaker 3: And then you know they'll just be like like, oh,
- 50:36Speaker 3: I'm nine, and you're like I'm seven. So I'm in
- 50:38Speaker 3: front of you. He's just like I'm just gonna wiggle
- 50:42Speaker 3: in here in your mind you think there could be
- 50:45Speaker 3: a little something there because you just kind of got them.
- 50:47Speaker 3: When we were coming back from Cobo. I had to
- 50:49Speaker 3: do that because the Cobo report was like madness. They
- 50:52Speaker 3: almost just do, hey, if you're a come on up,
- 50:54Speaker 3: and we'll just start ringing it up. So I'm like,
- 50:56Speaker 3: I see like this older couple who like gets up
- 50:59Speaker 3: there and I'm thinking like, yo, we're we're We're like
- 51:02Speaker 3: we're up there in the a's right and I'm thinking, hey,
- 51:05Speaker 3: what is your And I saw them from Afar they
- 51:07Speaker 3: were like A fifty two and I'm thinking they shouldn't
- 51:10Speaker 3: be going right now.
- 51:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, hey, sir, what what which one are you?
- 51:13Speaker 3: And he's like, you know, A fifty two and I'm
- 51:14Speaker 3: my brother, you're you're back there because he was cutting
- 51:16Speaker 3: like everybody. Yeah, yeah, this wasn't just a personal thing,
- 51:19Speaker 3: but it's like those people were kind of taking advantage
- 51:21Speaker 3: of the system, trying to get up there just because
- 51:23Speaker 3: they got to fucking take it right, do it right?
- 51:25Speaker 1: Well, yeah, do it right right? Yeah yeah yeah yeah, dude,
- 51:29Speaker 1: that shit that happened to me one time in my
- 51:30Speaker 1: Southwest flight. I was like a seven and I was
- 51:32Speaker 1: counting one, two, three, four, five six perfect. Well, some
- 51:36Speaker 1: cock comes down the line and standing in front of
- 51:38Speaker 1: a one for a second, kind of like not in
- 51:40Speaker 1: the line, kind of he's he's wavering back between the
- 51:42Speaker 1: line and the line. All of a sudden, a one
- 51:44Speaker 1: through fifteen year up. He jets in front of a one,
- 51:47Speaker 1: puts it down. I have no idea what his number was,
- 51:49Speaker 1: but I bet you he was a late a like that. Yeah,
- 51:53Speaker 1: it really pisses me off.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I don't know what it is, like, I get real
- 51:56Speaker 3: like internally mad when I see people like trying to
- 51:59Speaker 3: take advantage like the system or something like that, especially
- 52:02Speaker 3: in the flights in the flight game. Bro, when you're
- 52:04Speaker 3: in the flight game, like you want it to go smooth,
- 52:06Speaker 3: and if you're fucking it up, you're part of the
- 52:07Speaker 3: reason we're not taking off on time.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but anyway, that's a good one shot out.
- 52:11Speaker 3: No for Shadow goes to the power trip you get
- 52:13Speaker 3: from being Group one, Oh yeah, or A one through
- 52:16Speaker 3: fifteen that Early Bird special on Southwest.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Speaking of this week, the boys are flying out Thursday
- 52:22Speaker 1: to Las Vegas Debt. I'm sure will be an A
- 52:25Speaker 1: or a Group one, you know, yeah, there no question
- 52:30Speaker 1: we'll say if you boys to seed maybe and it's
- 52:33Speaker 1: gonna be a great, a great week. We're gonna be
- 52:35Speaker 1: a Dana. We're gonna be doing a whole bunch of shit.
- 52:36Speaker 1: It's gonna be amazing, just more fun stuff because of
- 52:39Speaker 1: you guys that have allowed us.
- 52:40Speaker 8: To do that.
- 52:40Speaker 1: My shoutout. Know if for Shadow this week goes to
- 52:42Speaker 1: pool games. Not pool games like pool pool games like
- 52:46Speaker 1: pool basketball, like sharks and meadows. Like when you're throwing
- 52:49Speaker 1: rocks in the pool and you hold your breath and
- 52:52Speaker 1: try to get all three of them. I've been filling
- 52:54Speaker 1: up before you fill over air. The anticipation of the competition,
- 52:57Speaker 1: when the weather's great and the sun's out and you
- 52:59Speaker 1: are in the pool with the boys, when you're playing
- 53:01Speaker 1: Marco polo dude, when you're playing Marco, Polo, and you're
- 53:05Speaker 1: in the deep end of the pool and that guy
- 53:06Speaker 1: is coming towards you. Marco, and you yell, Polo, take
- 53:09Speaker 1: the biggest deep breadth of your life and hit the
- 53:11Speaker 1: bottom and scared. Bro, You're like, I'm trying to figure
- 53:14Speaker 1: it out like this, like just holding yourself up as
- 53:16Speaker 1: much as far as far down as possible while the
- 53:19Speaker 1: feet are right here, and you're like, please God, that anxiety,
- 53:22Speaker 1: all of that, and then he floats away from you, brother,
- 53:26Speaker 1: the wind. That's a fucking win. How can I get up? Hup?
- 53:31Speaker 1: Huh gotta watch out now take it. That is a feeling.
- 53:36Speaker 1: And the summer's coming, boys, whether you like it or not.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Bloss while the winner sucks. We didn't get enough winner, dude.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Fuck that shit. Fuck the cold. I cannot wait for
- 53:45Speaker 1: sunshine pool days, grilling with the boys. It's gonna be
- 53:49Speaker 1: an amazing time. And it's right around the corner. I
- 53:51Speaker 1: can't fucking waits shot never shotow be your Olympics. Yeah
- 53:55Speaker 1: go down this year. Oh yeah, I'll go down this year. Figure.
- 53:57Speaker 3: So we definitely got to figure something out. That was
- 53:59Speaker 3: a good That was a good fucking time.
- 54:01Speaker 1: You know, we should have stayed to the masses. Should
- 54:04Speaker 1: we do another Tennessee Titans beer Beer Olympics or go
- 54:06Speaker 1: to a different team and get their offensive line? David
- 54:10Speaker 1: bo You.
- 54:11Speaker 3: Should have like a like an invite, like an invite
- 54:14Speaker 3: only Beer Olympics.

- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to another episode of Busting with the Boys. Our guests today,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: a legendary probably the best linebacker in the entire NFL.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Mister Fred One. Let's get around the box for the boys.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Let's get it. Let's get a couple classes. I appreciated,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: thank you for having me on. Will Compton can't make it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I'm very disappointed that he can't make it. Linebackers on.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I'm sure you growing up looked at him as a
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: valued asset. You watched that was your Will is him?
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: So I'm actually sad he's not here. Will, if you're
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: watching this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Or if you do watch this, he does. We watch
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: our own episodes because we need to boost our own numbers.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: That's like the biggest thing for us is are you
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: aware that your ten was stolen from him? That know
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: that Will's year ten was stolen from him?
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: No, I didn't know that. Yep. The Roger Goodell and
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the NFL boys were trying to keep him down. Really,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: he just had a gambling show and bet the bus.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: So there's really him betting on NFL games, and the
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: NFL is like, no, you can't do that, you can't
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: do that. They tried to take it. They absolutely try
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to take it. When I first walked in here, this
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: is your Asian right here to my left. So he
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: brought up something to me and it opened, it opened
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: some old wounds. He is married to a girl that
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I had a crush on in elementary school. Can I
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: say her name name? Her name is Julie Giordano, right,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Julie Ferrari. Now, now what a cool fucking last name.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: What a cool last name. So I'll tell the same
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: story I already told elementary school. We're like three months
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: into the school year and they're like, hey, everyone, you
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: can change sheets, you want to sit by somebody else,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: We want to keep it all going. I take this
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: as my opportunity. I'm finally gonna sit next to Julie.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I go over. She's facing the opposite direction and I
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: slide on into the chair and she looks sees me
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: and screams, immediately get up. I'm like, that's that's not
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: for me. That obviously is as a tale. And then
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I brought up somebody else, Courtney Billie, and you're like,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: they're best friends. So buddy, it's been a it's been
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a hard day for me. Dude.
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: I still don't even I don't understand how your re
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: member things like that far back, oh grade, there will
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: be a blur. All of elementary school is a blur
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: to me.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I don't really. Yeah, you don't have any good friends
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: from elementary school?
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I know I have great friends, you know who
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: you know, I grew up with all the way middle school,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: high school, but like elementary, like just like those little
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: moments that you just that you just threw out there
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: right now, like I could never pull that from the
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: memory banks. I don't know, really, I don't think so. Yeah,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: maybe that's the football I don't worrisome for you. You
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: think about that, it's a little bit worrisome.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Yeah, dude. I'll go up to people sometimes and I'll
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: literally like look at them and be like, hey, Taylor,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: nice to meet you, Like, yeah, we've met three times,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh my god, it's terrible. I guess
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: my long term memories is good, but my short term
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: memories just terrible. Yeah. I don't know, but I'm obviously
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: going through it right now. You have to be going
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: through some sort of an emotional turmoil right now being
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: in Arizona in a game that you probably believe you
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: should be playing it. Yeah, no, it was. It was.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: It was hurtful yesterday being by the stadium and actually
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: seeing it all dressed up because like for the longest time,
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: I wrote sticky notes all over my house like saying
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: I'm going to be a Super Bowl fifty seven champion
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: February twelve, Like I wrote it out and I said, yeah,
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: so uh yeah, No, it sucks being here seeing it all.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: God, dude, that's gotta be. And so when you get
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to call, like, hey, you're gonna go down the super Bowl.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Have you been to like the super Bowl location before
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: when you're not playing in it?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: You did?
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: You?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Did you play it against Kents Cidy? Uh? You talking
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: about that was like what five four years ago?
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: No?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in there? Okay, yeah, yeah, there it is.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: See the memory. Oh it sucks. Yeah, it's terrible. You
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: actually come down for the Super Bowl? Yeah I do. Yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I went there.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I was there last year in like same same situation.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: We had just lost the Rams in that same stadium.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Like the week. So you guys have a hell at
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: absolute hell of a team. Dude, when you look at
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the game, the NSC Championship, obviously the big glaring what
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: if is your quarterback?
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Yeah? Party? You had two quarterbacks before him? Like what
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: is what was your thought us? We're gonna jump all
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: over the season, but what was your thought process when
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you see pretty get hurt? I was like, oh boy, yeah,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: let's get it up.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: But the thing was, bro Like, here's the crazy part
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: about it is when Party went down, I still have
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: full confidence. Really, Yes, Josh Johnson a seasoned veteran, been
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: in the league for about fifty years, Like, you know,
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: you can go out there and protect me, you know,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: protect a ball, get it where it needs to go.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: And we got the top defense in the league at
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: that point, I think it was seven zer. So I'm like,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: all right, we're good. And then Christian goes and does
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: like the Superman, you know, like goes and scores off
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: of like some hero play. Yeah, and at seven seven, yes, stud,
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: And like so I'm thinking, okay, we're in it. Like
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: seven seven, we're good. Josh gets concussion, he's out. Did
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: you think it was a real concussion.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Did he fake it?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Do you think that was like something that he the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: moment was too big for him? No?
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, no, no he did. He did
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: fake I I don't think he faked it. Yeah, But
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: he goes down and we're on the sideline. I'm like,
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: all right, who's next? Like we don't have anybody else?
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: And I heard I didn't even know.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: I heard the story recently that Christian was getting his
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: helmet fitted for the QB thing, and I didn't know
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: that was actually happening in real time. But then I
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: see Party trotting back out. I'm like, well, what the heck?
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: Why wasn't he in the whole time? Because you thought
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: he was faking it? So then I'm thinking he's faking right,
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: you know, at that moment, You're like, yo, what's doing
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: He's already I'm like, why the hell hasn't pretty been
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: in this whole time?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: But then he trots back out there and you see that.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: You see the guy just giving handoffs every play like
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: we're toast. This is like what the first couple of
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: plays into the third quarter.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, I was little. I was flying back from
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: parks to the Utah with my family, so I didn't
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: get to watch the game. But when Will breaks it
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: down to me and we had Christian on yesterday, Yeah,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: it just seems like the way it was framed to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: me is it seemed like the boys were kind of
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: giving up, not the players themselves, but the play calling
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: in general, because you would you would think, all right,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: we're gonna put the green dot in Christian's helmet. Okay,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: let it, let him just rip it, just say fuck it.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Dude was saying that thing and hope for the best.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I mean, it's such a tough situation.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: Bro, I don't know, Like I mean, the game is
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: literally over when you're down what it was two scores
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: at that point, and you're gonna say, all right, let's
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: put the quarterback in whose arms torn off, and just
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: have him hand the ball off and hope that we
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: can run the ball down the field, like when they're
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: running punk coverage.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Yeah, saying all right, we're gonna blitz every places, everybody
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: that last can gauge eight exactly see what happens. Yeah,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: it was like we were playing Madden, so what we
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: were losing. Yeah, that's tough, dude, Like when you're looking
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and you see them handing it off like every single play,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: and then you're looking at going, hey, we're toast. How
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: is like the mindset on because you guys are number one,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: if not like top two, most well put together NFL teams.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: It was you were in the other team that was
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: in that conversation as the team you're playing, right, and
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: you guys said, it seems like he has a phenomenal chemistry.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Kittles a stud. Christian's the stud. You guys rally around
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: every single quarterback. You have the best left tackle in
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: the game. Nick Bosa just won Defensive Player of the
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Year last night, right right, Yeah, stud just literally just
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: seems like he's one step below in the evolutionary chart.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Right his hands go down to his damn ankles. He
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: just kind of grunts and mose. He just says a
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: couple of things like, you guys have a solid squad
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: in there, So how are the boys reacting during this thing?
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: What did you feel the white flag coming up? Yeah? God,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and that's tough. That's probably worth to admit. Field, It's
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: the worst feeling in the world.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Like when you know that, like in the moment as
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: a competitor, you know this like you're you're sitting there,
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: You're like you saw the clips of George like rally
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: and the boys like trying to get them going, and
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: I'm doing the same thing on my side. I'm thinking
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: we can we can still win this, like we still
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: win this. And then you finally like kind of concede
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: defeat at the end, like obviously whinning the game's over.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: But all the way through I still had hope, you
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: know that maybe we were going to get a pick
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: six or scoop and score fumble, try and get the
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: game back going.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: But but they're not gonna. I mean, once they see
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: they're up to scores and you guys have no aerial attack,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Like what is the point. They're probably on this on
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: their sideline saying, hey, no dumb place. You're basically running
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: a four minute offense.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: They're like, all right, what is this for ourselves? We
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: just got to not give them the ball? And the
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: turnal battle was huge for us all season long, like
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: winning like we I think we're plus plus ten and
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: maybe maybe over plus ten during the season and that
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: was the reason why we went one twelve straight, right,
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: and then you know, playoff, same thing as long as
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: long as we took the ball wave, we protected we're
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: gonna win. Like the stat was we were undefeated and
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: we were plus yeah in that game, I think we
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: were minus two minus three.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: God, I was like, all right, word But and you
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: had to pick the week before against the Cowboys. What
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: was the what was the mindset going to the Cowboys
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: versus going against the Eagles Because you look at the Cowboys, Yeah,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: they got a lot every year, there's a big media
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: on them there with the biggest media market in the
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: entire NFL. But you knew, yeah, you were very aware
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: of what was about to go down. Yeah, No, we
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: were pretty confident.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: I mean, I'm I'm I'm not going to sit here
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: and just boast and be like, oh, you know we're
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: going to kill them, Like yeah, it was like we
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: knew that.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: There was like they got they got players now, running backs,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: they have great wide receiving corps.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: Them losing Tony Pollard and like the first quarter was huge,
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: Like that's their most dynamic player on that side of
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: the ball and opens up their entire offense, their entire offense,
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: So like losing him made them a little bit not
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: as you know, dynamic on that side. I said, say,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: they obviously were just in CD the whole time, like
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: wanted to get him going. I think he ended up
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: having like eleven catches for one hundred some yards. So
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: my word, you know it, it was what it was.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: The difference between this that game and the Eagles game
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: was like I think the biggest difference was being at
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: home way like in a hostile environment.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: You know how we had our quarterback. Obviously it could
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: have been a different ball game with the Eagles. But
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you know it isn't it a wild when you're playing
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: a football game and the whole week, I'm sure you
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: guys are in your defensive meeting room saying, like Pollard,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: you guys got to like neutralize this individual. And then
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: obviously you go seet and stuff like that. But like
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: there's always like a key focus on certain individuals you
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: play against. And then you get into a game and
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I've been there too, Like I'm playing against a stud
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: defensive end and all of a sudden, maybe he gets
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: growing or something earlier in the game. I'm like, oh,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: and you never want like you never hope, but obviously
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: there is a piece of you that's like they just
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: got a little bit easier for me, it made it
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: for sure got easier when he got out here.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: Dude, you never want to see it happen like me, No,
- 1:09:57Speaker 4: And that's it was like bro some ankle like nasty
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: looking and some I saw something come out about how
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: they're gonna try and change the way people tackle or
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: something now like the drop tackle.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I guess is what it's called. It's a drop tackle.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: I don't know. I've never even heard of that in
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: my entire life.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: They said, because Jimmy Ward, the guy who was tackling him,
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: slid down his legs and then like the pressure of
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: his body.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: That's what happened to Uh Donnie Walker against Miami in
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: like twenty nineteen, did he did something happen to his leg? Yeah,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: he snapped. I think it's a tip fib.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: It didn't come out of the skin, but that thing
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: was looking like with this, yeah with with Pollard, like
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: but you can't control that, like you're you're it's a
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: desperation tackle. It's not like I'm gonna wrap him slide
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: down fall on his leg like No, it's like you're
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: you're desperate to try to get this guy down, you
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: So that seems like something that's like such a frustrating
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: thing for the defensive player because Nick Bost had something
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: earlier in the year, right, he gets uh, he tackles
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: the quarterback, they throw a penalty on him. It's like
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the whole quarterback thing waiting crazy. Yeah, there is a
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: it's outstanding that the NFL wants to help players. Now,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: they're also putting in a turfield a Nissan stadium next year,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and everyone's all against turf field, but there's like there
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: is they're at least showing to the public that hey,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: we want to keep these players healthy and safe. But
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: there's got to draw a line where you literally have
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: to understand what you're signing up for, Like Pallard needs
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: to know, like when you get tackled the way he
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: gets tackled, there's a there's an option that your leg
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: is going to be facing the wrong way at the
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: end of that. And buddy, when you see that during
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: your game, like there is no more will to play
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: anymore for at least four or five snaps like.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: That is the worst feeling in the world, especially seeing
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: that live, Like that's like my fear, Like I would,
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: you know, knock on wood that that never happens to me.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: But yeah, the whole like the breaking legs and all that.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: It's just like it's not right. But like you said,
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: like you're signing you know what you're signing up for
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: that happens, you know rarely, but that's what you're signing up.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Where do you where do you see that line being
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: like defined, because eventually the NFL can't turn this into
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: two hands touch. It's it's a violent game flag football
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: like the Pro Bowl, which we will get into that
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: that was absolute garbage to absolute garbage, but that you'll
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: have a whole experience talking about that. Yeah, sure, Like
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: where is I guess where do you think the line
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: is when it comes to like keeping guys healthy but
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: also understanding the risk that we're all going into when
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: we play this game.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, bro,
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: people why do people turn on football, like intern on
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: NFL football and watch It's because they want us, Like
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: they want to see people hitting each other, like they
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: want to see like the violence of the game, and
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: you know, understanding the integrity of the game like and
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: wanting to help protect the players.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: There is a fine line there, you know.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: They they're they're doing the whole protecting the quarterback situation
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: because you see what happens clear and clear as day
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: in our situation, what happens when you don't have your quarterback,
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: you know, and how that affects the success of your team.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: So I mean, that's why they're getting paid all, you know,
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: all the money and because your your team is I
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: mean a large part of it is a success of
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: your team is from the quarterback. So I get it
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: from that standpoint. I wanted to protect the quarterbacks, but
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: a lot of it is like kind of ticki tag
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: and it's like all right, like come on, we got
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: to know common sense now of.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: What yeah, what's the use did you tack?
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: I mean this year there was like some weird ones
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: where like they don't want you to sli and the
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: quarterback down too hard, like when you're sacking him, landing
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: on him, the landing on them thing, it's like you
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: have to roll off with one arm down on the
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: ground or brace yourself and then all kind of off
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: to the side. Like it's just like so like fine,
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: like this is you know, find details in it all.
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: It's like and these these things are happening like quick
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: and there's a quick decision that having to be made
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: like in action.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: So you know, it's interesting.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: It is an interesting you'll do, especially like if I
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: feel like if I'm a defensive player and I'm sacking
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: a quarterback and I have to think about all the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: little minu details you're saying low key, you're putting yourself
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: in risk to get injured. Absolutely, and that's like, but
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the NFL's got to follow what they do, which is
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: protecting the money. They're gonna protect Tom Brady, They're gonna
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: take Aaron Rodgers and all those guys. Yeah, and it's tough.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: And I think the thing that's an issue with that
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: is the those rules aren't consistent based on the quarterback. Right,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you get those older guys that are you know, Hall
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: of famers or elite quarterbacks, they get they're gonna get
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: extra flags. They're going to get extra flags. And it's
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: it's tough, Yeah, it is.
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: You also have to be aware, like as a defender, like,
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: all right, you got to know who's going to get
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: the calls, Who's who's gonna.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Be a little bit more lenient.
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: You gotta know what, uh what ref crew you're working with, Like,
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: all right, is this is this a crew that's gonna
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: let you play or is it a crew that is
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: gonna you know, be a little bit more flat happy?
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: So yeah, you know this all stuff that you get.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: The people don't outside don't realize that you have to
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: like kind of be aware of.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Do the coaches before games, do they let you guys
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: know who the the referees are and stuff like that,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: and they're like, hey, these guys are big on DPI,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: these guys are big on holding. Every crew like has like.
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: A penalty that they're big on, Like they're like heavily
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: called this type of penalty. So it's not something that
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: in game you're really thinking about. It's just something that
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: you kind of put in your back pocket, like beforehand.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: It's like, all right, well I have it on my
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: mind a little bit.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta. Yeah, it's understanding the rules and using
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: the rules to your advantage. There you go, that's all
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you gotta do. Your DC just left, He went to Houston.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Right on one hand, you got to be stoked for him.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: How do how do you think that affects you guys
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: going into next year. It's kind of like it's it's
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: almost like a new challenge. You know.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: It's like, well, my time being here, this will be
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: my third DC in six years, so it's But the
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: difference was that Tomiko was the descendant of Sala, you know,
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: he was under Solah. Okay, it was almost the exact
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: same defense, except the little tweaks here and there. Now
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: we're bringing in a new cat who hasn't been a
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: part of the like part of our system or even
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: a part of the building, you know, so kind of
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: bringing them in. And I haven't I haven't met coach
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: Wilks yet, but I'm eager to. I've heard none but
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: good things.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Uh Shaq. Thompson hit me up and was like, may
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: You're gonna love Wilkes.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: Bro Like really, hey, like the Mike eats in this
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: defense and great, dude, man, everybody loved him.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: So I'm excited. Yeah, dude, because you guys have a
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: punishing defense. I worry. Do you think when head coaches
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: get de coordinates coordinates when they get head coaching jobs,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: do they do you think they evaluate where they're going
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: or they just see the head coach and they're like
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: the head coaching title. They're like, oh, I'm gonna I'm
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: gonna take that because if I'm yeah right, because if
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I'm thinking Houston right, they have had an absolute revolving
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: door of head coaches. The franchises in shambles. That's not
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: an opinion, that's literally a fact. Like ship just seems
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: like it is hitting the fan over there, Like, do
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you think he thought about that before we took that
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: job or is it like, hey, I get to be
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: a head coach in the National colutely he thought about it.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: He thought about everything, and he's he's a you know,
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: he's a guy who lives in Houston, you know, had
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: a house out there already and played for that organization.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: I think his wife is from from Houston. So everything
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: you have to take into account everything, and then obviously
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: does is it the right fit? You know, is the
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: front office, you know, in correlation with what your values
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: and ideals are for what you believe the team is
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: going forward? So everything obviously lined up. Who do you
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: want to win this game on Sunday?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't do that. Well, now, what
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: kind of question. Yeah, I'm terrible at this job. Yeah,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: but you look at the teams. Let's not say who
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: we want to win. Let's say, who do we think
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: is going to win this game? And if you want
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: me to go first, I will that way, he lets
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: you have a little more of a cushion. Absolutely, I
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: think the Philadelphiagles are gonna win this game by at
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: least ten points. Yes, yes, the only way. And Will
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: brought this point up. I'm now using his point form,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: but I put the insurance policy in there. The only reason,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: the only way Kansas City wins this game is on
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: off scripted place. They're not going to be able, especially
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: with who's number seventeen for the Chiefs, Nicole Hardman. Nicole Hardman,
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: He's out. They just put him on iron. They got
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Juju's got a knee, they got another guy with a hip.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: They got an ankle. Pat Mahomes is the ankle. I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: think in their offensive line. I think the Eagles are
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: going to eat. Okay, I think the Eagles are going
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: to eat, and I think the Phillies. I think Phillies
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: offensive line is going to eat. Okay, like it is
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: going to be a bloodbath on one side, and then
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the Jalen's going to have a very long time to
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: throw the football. Oh is Jalen at super MVP then
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: is that Is that what you're saying or I don't know.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: But and Kelsey is gonna be Super Bowl MVP of
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: this of this game. I don't know, dude, because I
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: think obviously you're gonna give it to Jail and he's
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: a quarterback. We've seen it in the past where it
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: doesn't go to the quarterback. But I mean, if you're
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: going to bet on that situation, you would bet the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: quarterback in the NBA. But I think top to bottom,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: the Eagles are a better football team. And here's where
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I'll speak against myself. I think Patrick Mahomes is getting
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to the point where you never bet against Patrick Mahomes.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: He's truly like the baby goat. He's out here ripping
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: around two time MVP just won it last night, Like, yeah,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: he's a study. So all that being said, you have
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: the floor. That's an interesting take. I hadn't heard.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: I hadn't heard that one yet, Like that very good
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: at my job. And the Eagles are just gonna mop
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: the floor with the.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess I did that. I guess in the
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Super Bowl. Of course, it's kind of disrespectful to Kansas City.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: No, I mean, it's cool I mean, we don't, we
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: don't care, but I would say I would say the opposite.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I think Casey wins. Wow.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: My reasoning being both teams are obviously they're they're obviously
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: the best of the best. That's why they're there. Eagles
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: are loaded. I do like the I do like the
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: thought of the trench is kind of winning the game
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: for him, the old line being stacked, d line stacked.
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: But in my mind, the super Bowl is very much
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: so like a game of like experience. Who's been there.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: This is a staff with the Eagles that has never
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: been in this game. Okay, see and any Reid been
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: there has won it. Pat Mahomes been there, won it?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Who do they win? I can't remember.
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but anyway, but yeah, they've been there and they've
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: done it.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: Like I feel I feel like that's kind of like
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: the difference maker and like in those key moments because
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: there's like you know, it doesn't really it doesn't always
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: come down to the last play. There's gonna be key
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: moments in the game where it's like, all right, who's
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: more season than this to be able to be like
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: all right, like who's gonna make the more critical decisions?
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: Throughout the game, but at the end of the day,
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: players make place. Pat Mahomes is Pat Mahomes. Travis Kelsey
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: is Travis Kelsey. Now I'm eager to see what the
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: Eagles defensive game plan is against that offense.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: You know, like, are they going.
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: To say, but you can beat a with anybody else
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: except for eighty seven, Like eighty seven is not catching
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: the ball, Like we're going to triple team, double team,
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: whatever we need to do and make it make them
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: beat us some other way.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I don't know, do Like, so, what do you think
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: their game play is going to be, because the easy
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: answer is double double Kelsey, I'll do it. Play man
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: on everybody. I'll do it, and I'll try to get
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: try to.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: Get to the quarterback man double or zone and have
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: somebody else in the area being able to bump him
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: do something. If you just like Travis Kelcey run around
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: and he's going to and he gets twelve catches for
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: like one hundred and forty yards, two tugs, win subwemp,
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: what are you doing?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Like this is like what are you doing?
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: Come on?
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Or the opposite when he has like what like six catches,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: four touchdowns and twenty five yards that one game. It's
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: just crazy. Is the red zone three? Yeah?
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: It is?
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Well, it's that that's a unique storyline too when it
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: comes to the Super Bowl. Is Jason and Travis? Yeah,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: like that's got to be so dope. Yeah, your brother,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: you have a brother that plays that by you right now?
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: Or we played together for two years and now he's
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: he's doing USFL. He's doing USFL Memphis. Has he told
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: you about that process?
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: No, I mean he doesn't. He hasn't even gone yet.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: He leads in March. Oh no way, Yeah, I'm thinking
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: about playing there next year. Stop? Why not? Why not?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I thought if I retired, dude, I'm just gonna go
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: and do USL USFL or do a cflry to be
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: all Canadian and get the fuck out. There's no way,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: there's no way.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: No.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about doing that when like when
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you're when your career is like over, Like why not
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: just why not?
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: Just for the love of the game, for the love
- 1:21:27Speaker 4: of the game, brother, just bro, Yeah, that would be
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: just love ball so much.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: He's just gonna, you know, just gonna go do it
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: just to see what happens. I feel like that's like
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the CFL especially is like a wildly underestimated like uh football, Yeah,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I think so too.
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: I Mean I don't really know much about it either,
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: but I've heard I've heard good things for sure.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Yeah. The when you look at when you look at
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: your team, you have a handful of guys that are
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: going to be free agents this next year. How do
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: you guys finally put it together and get back to
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: the Super Bowl to the same exact thing we did.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: You have to resign those we make sure both both our.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: Quarterback get hurt, go get down to the third string quarterback,
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: and then get a top defense, and then we'll be
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: right back.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Who do you think is going to be your quarterback
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: next year? This is obviously a question in your agent
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: does not want me to ask a ridiculous question. I
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: don't know. Yeah, that's crazy, Yeah, because I feel like
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: people have already forgotten about Tree Lance. Yeah.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: Unfortunately for Trey, I mean it's like, I mean, he
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: just hasn't had like the best end of the stick
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: right right, just kind of like every time he's been
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: out there. I mean, you talk about this season, he
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: went out through the first game in a monsoon, second game,
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: gets hurt, breaks his ankle, and then what's the ankle?
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: You know, I know, I don't know, Yeah, but yeah,
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: it just hasn't had the best end of the stick.
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: And but I mean, I'm excited for him obviously, get
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: an off now, just in off season program, just to
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: you know, get to take the reins and.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: And we'll see what happens because you got him. Obviously,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you got the most handsome guy in the NFL, Jimmy
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: g Yeah, and he's going to be a freezing right. Yeah.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: I think Kyle Ready came out and said that he's
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: not coming back, but he said the same thing last
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: year too, so yeah, see.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: It seems like you guys kind of need that. And
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: then he got brock Party. And then I was listening
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: to Oh No, I was talking with Christian McCaffrey and
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: he was saying that you guys saw him on defense
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: and knew like he was legit study because I have
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: taken it, had this take of people telling me. People
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: have told me Rock Perty is not that good. He
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: just has aliens around him. That is what I was told.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: You know, I can't do that. I will tell you
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I will we'll discuss afterwards. But this person is in
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: the NFL, and they understand the game. Have they played
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: against the Brock? They have not put against Brock. It's
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: not a player. Oh, it's not a player. It's not
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: a player. This person pulled film up for me and
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: showed me him missing throws and different things, and he's
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: look on brock Party. I am just giving you the
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: information I've reached. I'm a messenger. His take on brock
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Party is that he is a quarterback that can do
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: a good job of like being a manager. But he's
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: the reason why he seems so successful is because there's
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: aliens around him. Now, I want your take on how
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you feel about like seeing him in practice every day.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: And then when McCaffrey was when I was asking him
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: about when Jimmy went down, Okay, he said, you guys
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: were like, Rock is legit. Yeah, So what why am
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I getting two different storylines here? Oh? I don't know, Like.
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: I'm I just think I think Brock is dope. Like
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: I've always been a fan of his from day one.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: Going against him in practice, you know, you get you
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: get guys who are the scout team quarterback and they're
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: just like they understand their role and just like all right,
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: I'm just gonna go out here kind of just whatever,
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: do my thing, or just do whatever I need to do.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: Like Brock's mindset was I'm trying to ball. Yeah, like
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I'm trying.
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: I'm trying to make myself better by going against the
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: top defense.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:24:42Speaker 4: It wasn't just a matter of you know, I'm just
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: gonna go out here and tell him to do whatever
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: they need me to do. Read the card like he's
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: legit trying to get better, like he's trying to dice
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: this up. And he was like here and there, you know,
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: like you saw the ability in terms of like there's
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: weeks where he's playing as like a running quarterback and
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: he could actually like he has some wheels, like he
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: can he had like the shiftiness and like could do
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: the little like the little half step.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: It's like so we saw that in practice all the time.
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: And I'm like, he's got some to him, you know,
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: you know the factor right, Like he's got it. You
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: can't really describe it, but it and he has it.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: That's gonna be an interesting I feel like for like
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: the last fifteen years, fran San Francisco has always had
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: like a quarterback controversity going into that year.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: Every year I've been there, I mean it's like, well,
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: not necessarily off season, but every year it's always been
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: like devastating injury off season stuff Like it's just you know, it's.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: The things you can't control too, because guys have an
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: outstanding off It's a line Michael Leitchi is gonna be
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: a free agent. Then you have literally the best player
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: in the NFL, Trent Williams. Yes, is that something you're
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: willing to stand right there? He's the best player in
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: the NFL. He's up.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: There's top five boys. We interrupt this episode. Taylor just
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: had to dip. He had to go to the dentist.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: He's got to, I guess fix a couple of things.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Who knows.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Not to get old paranol. But it's time we had
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: to talk the talk, you know, the one about the
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: three letter word that ends in.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Not that one.

- 1:27:21Speaker 3: talking about it.

- 1:27:56Speaker 1: married and.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: You got to go get a tux you're kind of like, fuck,
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: gotta go. W It's like, hey, the place is going
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: to be Men's warehouse or whatever the case may be,
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: and you got to put in time or schedule to
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: go in meet with them, do all the fitting and
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: everything else. I do like this, Uh, you know, you
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: just get on your phone, get on the app, take
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: a little quiz what fit.

- 1:28:33Speaker 3: code busting.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Back to the episode, Because I look at your guys
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: a squad. If you were on any other team, I
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: feel like you'd be the best player on their team. Debo,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: same thing, McCaffrey, same thing, Like, uh, bro it is.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: And then you literally look around like look at all
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: these fucking nick Bosa. You look at all these studs,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: and you're like, who's your best player? I'll buy some
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: offense line, but I'm like, no, Trent, I agree, he's him? Yeah,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: aside for myself, I'd say Trent is that in that
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: locker room? Is everybody like, hey, Trend's him? Yes? Bro.
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: It's so funny watching Trent throughout the week, like just
- 1:29:09Speaker 4: he kind of just hobbles around.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: You know, he's like near what like twelve or something.
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, obviously he takes Wednesdays off and then
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: you know he's out there Thursday does his thing, and
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: then when he gets in the game, it's like he
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: just goes super saying mode. Super saying mode is like,
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: just I've never seen anything like it really ever. The
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: combination of like the ballerina feet with like just this
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: humongous upper body and slamming guys. Whether it's before or
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: after the whistle doesn't matter, you know, just thought like,
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: he's just an insane freak athlete with the mindset, you know,
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: like of I can do this all day long, and
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: just I don't know, He's just a.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Freak, you know. He just gets and he gets away.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: He's so good at understanding the game and where he
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: has to be. I feel like his like his technique
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: is not great. If you look at him in the States,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: so you can literally see you can you can see like, Okay,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: it's gonna be a run on this player, it's gonna
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: be a pass on this play, and literally people just
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: still can't figure it out. Matter he goes, he does
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: the reach round block on backside cutoffs, he knocks guys
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: down and then all of a sudden, because he's not
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: tread is the most talented offense line that I've ever seen.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: In my entire life. He is. He's not a dude
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: that's like sprinting down field, but he picks and chooses
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: his time to end dudes.
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: Just like what was it the Cardinals back in twenty twenty.
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: Twenty twenty was when it was his first year with
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: this an open and played in the air. So it's
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: like he had that thing, like that chip on the
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: shoulder of like I got a show, I could still
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: like play at the top. Yeah, so he had to
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: just go and end what was his name, Hicks? Yeah,
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: first play, like first game of the.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Year, first game of the year, like fifteen snaps in ye,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: and it was like a like a Waterboys scene. He's
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: just grunting and absolutely murdered that human being. Yeah.
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: I mean I've seen him do it several times now
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: and it's like luckily not in practice, but yeah, and
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: I would never want to play against him.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Like on the other team. It's his vibe at practice.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: He's chilling, he's chilling, chilling. He knows he's him absolutely,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: And that's like not even a shot because like there
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: are dudes you play with in the NFL that you know, like, hey,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: we'll see him on Sunday he's going to be a study.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I ain't gotta worry. I have not I don't have
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: to worry about him. Like he let him understand his
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: process and he that.
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: That is it, and everybody respects the heck out of him, bro,
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: Like it doesn't matter, like he's he's a captain in
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: every single year because guys truly do respect the way
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: he goes about his business and like what comes out
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: of his mouth.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: When he does choose to like say something to the team.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: I want you to do me a favor. I want
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: you to rank the top five players in the San
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Francisco forty Niners, and yourself is included in this ranking. Okay,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: you take your time, we can cut out yees oh
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: uh oh oh nice, Yeah, as long as it's not
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: too long. Yeah, just text it, text it to me
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: and then I'll we'll do that after.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: We do this.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: Okay, top five, Well, this is this is kind of
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: I might hurt some feelings though, because there's like a
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: lot of talented guys on our team.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: What we can do is we'll do a top five. Okay,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: obviously you have to put number one is number one,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: and then two through five can be what's that I'm saying,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: like two through five could be like any order. Yeah exactly,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: you five could be your two. But we just know
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: if gets the top five guys, and we'll give a
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: couple of honorable mentions. Is you guys are legit stacked good?
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: Well, then I'll put myself at one, as he took
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: that personally, I said was the best play the team. Humbly,
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: I'll put myself at one, and then two through five.
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: I mean, you for sure gotta go Trent Bosa, George
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: God see, I can't do I don't know. I can't
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: do like four guys because right then you.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: Have honorable mentions. I know they're legit both the same player. Well, yeah,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: you had a running back that can play receiver and
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: a receiver and they can play running back.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: But in there too liked, well, he'd be god.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Tier we do. We do a thing on the show
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: called tears. Actually, we'll just do tears talk right now.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: That way we don't have to do it. Okay, who
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: are you aware of your talk? That's okay? All right?
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: So Tier Talk is basically what we're doing right now,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: except for it's gonna become a little harder. It'll be
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: our top three. Now, for the sake of the argument,
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: I will say you are the best player on the
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: San FRANSCOO forty nine Ers, which right now is putting you.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Because there's an agreement, you are now god tier. We've
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: opened up the one slot, the two slot, and the
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: three slot, and we'll both let ourselves have two honorable mentions. Okay,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: so you can go first. You can give your honorable
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: mentions for the Niners. For the Niners, I will go second.
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: So it's the same. Okay, So I'm going one through
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: five again.
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: You're going one through five, but you're gonna start at
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: five now. But there's more skin in the game now
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: because you are putting them in order. Now, that's what
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: I'm saying. Isn't that tough?
- 1:33:40Speaker 4: That's really tough. We can put the sure put Trent
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: Bosa two and three.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: I mean you could. You could sit there, you could
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: flip flop either of them. No way.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Since we talking about trend as the best player in
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: the league, then we'll put them at two. Bosa's one
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: deep player of the year. Sorry, buddy, You're three is
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: what it is? Four and five I would, I would
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: four and five is tough because you got three I
- 1:34:06Speaker 4: got three guys in mind, obviously, Deebo, Christian and George.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: One of those has to sit in a honorable mention.
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna put Christian Deebo four and five, and I'm
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: gonna put George honorable mentioned.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: Yeah wow, yeah, because you know George is gonna be
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: the coolest with that exactly. George my boy, So you
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: know it's gonna be all good. He I asked him
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: to come on and did a co host got ghosted.
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: That's okay, that is that's the game. He actually tried
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: to call me, I think as we were talking. Yeah,
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: really yeah, we uh did. George is the best, all right,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: He's great. So he put you at God's here. You
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: are at God's Here. So my number one it's gonna
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: go to Trent Williams. My number two will be George Kittle, Okay.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: My number three is going to be Deebo m for Christian.
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: I've nick anybody, yeah and then now and so now
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: this is an offense. Guy thought I have a built
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: an insurance policy on that. Okay. Is Nick Bosa as
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: quiet and calm and collected as it is, because there's
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: a video I think it's you hyping the boys upn't
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: agree more and agree more, agree more, actually like that
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: all the time. Dude.
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: I didn't even realize he said that in the moment
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: because I'm obviously like he said to himself, he just
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: kind of said he kind of turned around and said,
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: agree more, agree more. And when I saw the clip,
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: I don't know, how may it kind of you know,
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: I didn't like it, you know, like.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: Like this is how you're doing me?
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: No, No, it was funny. It was hilarious. That whole
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: entire mic. That was comedy. But that's him to a tea. Yeah,
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: he's did He's funny. His brother seems the same way.
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: His brother took a fat ol before you guys lost
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: the NFC Championship.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: You saw that. How are you? How are the what
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: are the Eagles fan? They've got to be the most
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: rabid fan base. Absolutely, not even close. It's not even close.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: They're scary human beings. Yeah, they're they're literally like last
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: of us. They're flipping the bird.
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: Doesn't matter if you're if you're a two year old,
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: or if you're fifty or sixty, like they're they're all
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: flipping the bird.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: If you're if you're a fan of an opposite team
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: and the Eagles and they're playing the Eagles and you
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: bring your two year old with you. You're a bad parent. Yes,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: you need to find a babysitter that day to war,
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: Yes you are. Yeah. Tactically, how do you think what
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: do you think Joey went wrong in that situation? Was
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: it calling the butt buddy snapchat or was it or
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: was it that age old I'm rich comment? That do
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: you think tactically he probably didn't handle himself the best way?
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: Bro?
- 1:36:36Speaker 4: I mean, I'm like, I mean that's I think that's
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: just Joey though, like you know, bless his heart, just
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: out there, just the ultimate every fighting every single Philly fan,
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: like they're all gonna coming at him and he's just
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: taking him on.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Because if I'm if I'm Joey, I did like the
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: butt buddy comment. I thought that was funny. Yeah, But
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: the rich part, that's you're gonna lose that battle ten
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: times out of ten every time. So that's when you
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: just got to let him half his moment, dapt him
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: up and make him become a friend, right right, and
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: might lose, yes, and then they lose because the Eagles, bro,
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: they really they're crazy. I know, and they're about to
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: be Super Bowl champions by ten points right now? Did
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: you already put that bet down? Or I don't bet.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: I am not associated with but the bus at all
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: because I'm technically still an active NFL player. Oh my gosh,
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: you're right. Yeah, all right. Maybe it's kind of like
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: against the rules for even talking about it. Maybe, but
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: actually it won't matter. Yeah, neither of us bet. Will does.
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: He flaunts that thing around, though he does bet a lot. Right.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all right, the Will questions, let me read
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: this first. I'm not good at reading. Hold on, all right,
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: he said, I'm not good at reading. No chilling. I
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: got in yesterday morning. It's Scottsdale got Airbnb. I mean
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: all all the the hotels were booked up. Yeah. You know,
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: this is Will just blowing him and then asking a question,
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: Oh what are the things?
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: Well, okay, are you ready? Yeah. As a linebacker, there
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: are guys who run and hit, guys who can cover,
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: and are predominantly third down passing down players. You can
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: essentially do it all. You have speed, you meet people
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: with bad intentions. You can run run the middle of
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: the field from the a gap that's by the way,
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: that was very cool when you did that. Uh, it's
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: rare to find a complete linebacker. What are things you've
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: done as a player outside of genetic ability that's allows
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: you to grow and play at such a high level.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: Question One that was from will whoat of all, Yeah,
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: one of your heroes. That's got to be a huge
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: to hear from.
- 1:38:53Speaker 4: That was huge, right there. Yeah, that was very nice,
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: very nice of them, and thank you. But yeah, I mean,
- 1:39:00Speaker 4: and I bro when I came in, like I was
- 1:39:03Speaker 4: nowhere even close to I got the player I am now. Like,
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: first of all, I was, I played out of position
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: in college. I wouldn't say out of position honestly helped
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: me now being in the league now playing Mike backer,
- 1:39:16Speaker 4: I played like almost nickel like out in space a lot.
- 1:39:19Speaker 4: So when I got to the league, having that background
- 1:39:21Speaker 4: allowed me to feel more comfortable in space. So they're like,
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: all right, we're gonna plug in at Mike and kind
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: of see how you do. We're not really sure where
- 1:39:27Speaker 4: to put you. And Demiko being a Mike backer, like
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: he was the perfect like coach for me to come under. Okay,
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: well that kind of sounded weird, but the perfect coach
- 1:39:38Speaker 4: for me to learn from because like he like from
- 1:39:41Speaker 4: day one, I remember where you know, in Otash, you know,
- 1:39:44Speaker 4: rookies have extra like walk through time in between practices
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: or something, and we're I'm like, he's we're going through
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: plays and I'm in the huddle with some of the
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: other rookies and I'm like, all right, Compton, real break,
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: yeah whispering right, I don't. I mean, I've never given
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: calls before. And Demico grass me briefly aside, Hey, you
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: the Mike Becker, like you need to make sure that
- 1:40:06Speaker 4: you run you run the show, you run the show,
- 1:40:09Speaker 4: speak up and let these boys know.
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: And I'm like, whoa, all right, yea. From then on
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: our brow.
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: He never had to tell me anything ever again, Like
- 1:40:16Speaker 4: in terms of like running the show, I'm out there
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: and practice, I'm screaming the calls at the top of
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: my lungs, screaming them.
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: Was it that big of a flip? Right away? Absolutely?
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: Right away? Click? Just like that.
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: Like for some reason, I don't know, I was blessed
- 1:40:28Speaker 4: with being able to like retain information and coaching and
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: all that kind of stuff like it, I get things
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: fairly quickly, so like I was screaming them calls like
- 1:40:36Speaker 4: and Kyle I think went in to the media and
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: was like laughing about it, like yeah, this Warner kid,
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: like he's screaming the calls out there. I mean you
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: gotta tell him, like so the offense can't hear like
- 1:40:45Speaker 4: the calls. He needs to like you know, ton them
- 1:40:47Speaker 4: down maybe a little bit. But yeah, I mean I
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: just literally I dove in after like I got in
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: the league and I realized, like from the outside looking in,
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: when you're not in the league's it looks like everybody's
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: like like like it's like, Wow, you put these guys
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: on a pedestal your whole life all grown. Man, you
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: see the best of the best, the Bobby Wagners, everybody,
- 1:41:09Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers, like all these players that you look up
- 1:41:12Speaker 4: up to, and then you finally in it and you're like, okay,
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: like they're still good, but it's not like they're like
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: you're right there with them now. So like I literally
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: just dove in and I worked like no other and
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: I dedicated my whole life to just ball. Like I
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: got a office now where it's just dedicated to film,
- 1:41:29Speaker 4: Like I'm just sitting there pounding film throughout the week
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: and it's just purely for film, like my diet, the
- 1:41:36Speaker 4: things I watch, like the podcast I listened to, the
- 1:41:39Speaker 4: YouTube videos I watched, like Busting with the Boys, you know,
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: just kind of taking notes and like everything I do
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: is dedicated to ball bro Like it's nothing nothing else
- 1:41:48Speaker 4: besides obviously making my wife happy. But I'm just like
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: completely obsessed with it, Like this is all. This is
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: my whole life, so since ever since I dedicated everything
- 1:41:58Speaker 4: to it, it's all, you know, allow me to to floorish.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: Ausk Will's next question, But you said something about at
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: the end of that little thing, like along with making
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: my wife happy, how hard is it to find that
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: balance between your personal life and your professional life, because
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: especially during the season, it's all consuming, right, and you
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: can feel them. I'm married, I have two kids. You
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: can feel them being like what about us? Sometimes and
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: it's it's very difficult because it brings a level of
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: guilt and you know their feelings are valid. So how
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: do you work through that process during the season, Because
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: I when I'm in a locker room and I see
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: a bunch of guys and they all seem fine. In
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: the back of my head, I'm like, man, I got
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: to do more for my family, but also I gotta
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: I can't. I got to make sure I do everything
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: I can to win on Sunday. Dude, I come from
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: like a tight knit family. I've been a family guy
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: my whole life.
- 1:42:45Speaker 4: You know. You know, being married was my greatest accomplishment
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: to date, you know is and I obviously we want
- 1:42:51Speaker 4: to start a family soon. And I mean you mentioned
- 1:42:54Speaker 4: it like during the season it is tough like and
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: that's that's another reason why, like we're a perfect match
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: and why I married her because she understands. So she
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: understands in season, like I'm like, all my time is
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: gonna be dedicated to ball. Yeah, we we got our
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: Friday date nights. But aside from that, like it's not
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: a whole lot of time for anything else.
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: You know, Friday date nights, you're probably still thinking things
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: in forty eight hours, bro, thinking about the game plan.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: You're never you're never truly present, especially during the season.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: Right and then, uh, this is more me because I
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: do this when I finish the season. It kind of
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: feels like it takes me like two or three weeks
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: to really like decompress, Like I have an anxiety, like
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: I should be doing this, I should be doing that,
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: and then even those two reasons, you're not like truly
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: present either.
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's tough, bro, seriously, I mean, especially when you
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: lose in the fashion that we like that we lose, Bro,
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: I can only imagine instantly unfortunately. But you know when
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: you get to the highest point of the mountain and
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: then you kind of got to take a sharp you know, downfall, right,
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: and it's like it take that takes some time to
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: kind of let off. But you know, the off season
- 1:43:52Speaker 4: is is crucial though, in terms of like just spending
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: time and together and doing things together, taking trips and
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: doing that sort of thing. But even then, it's the
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: ball never really the way he is not always there,
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: you know, So it is.
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: A tormenting thing. I got one more question from Will.
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: I gotta read it first, go ahead, very long. Yeah,
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: your reading great? All right? How hold on? I did
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: this name in the first word? Are you happy that
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: you're good enough now to where the special team coach
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: will never bother you again?
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: You don't even know his name, do you? You don't
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: even know the special team coach's name. The reason why
- 1:44:37Speaker 4: it's so funny to me is because obviously Will's been there. Yeah,
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: obviously both of you are in it, so you understand, well,
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: he understands that as like a linebacker not having to
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: be in those meetings you like, you kind of know
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: you've made it like not having to do this Special
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: Teams anymore. Yeah, No, I mean, I'm hey, whatever they
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: need me to do, but it does it is nice to.
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't got to do the whatever name. You're
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: doing everything they need you to do right now. There
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: you go, you have done that, paid to play Mike Backer.
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: Unfortunate I'm not unfortunately, very fortunately fortunately, but unfortunately for
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: I guess our Special Teams group.
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: I'm you know, I'm not contributing too much over there.
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: Do you think you ever like you're extremely successful? You
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: have so much opportunity to possibly wear a jacket the
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: way you're playing right now when your career is over.
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: Thank you ever have a hard time understanding how much
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: success you've had, or like really accepting a compliment when
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: people give it to you. Absolutely, Yeah, I try to.
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: I try better.
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: I try to be better about it about just you know,
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: genuinely like saying thank you, like to people who give
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: me compliments instead of like trying to deflect.
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: There's not a whole lot of time for for reflection though.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: It's like you're when you're so dialed in, you're and
- 1:45:47Speaker 4: you're in it. There's this constant quest for like just
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: the next like what's next, what's next? So there's never
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: a time to like really sit down and be like, okay,
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: like I've done some cool things, right a little bit,
- 1:46:01Speaker 4: there's a little bit of time.
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but not right now. It would be a perfect
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: time that you would be reflecting that the season just ended, right,
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: How cool was that? All Pro I'm a stun right,
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: and then you get back to it.
- 1:46:12Speaker 4: But I never I don't even let myself get there
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: because you know what, you know what I did after
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: my third season, I was the first team All Pro
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: Pro Bowl first time, right, Yeah, and I think I
- 1:46:22Speaker 4: may have It's not like I don't even think I've
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: rested on it either. It's like I reflected though, and
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: let myself not feel that like the things that got
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: me here in the first place, like all the knocks
- 1:46:35Speaker 4: on me, like the chip on my shoulder, all those things,
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: like I let those things go. I'm like, okay, I'm
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: him now, like all right, whatever, let me let me
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: let go of those things.
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they they.
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: Gotta stay there, gotta stay there, like you gotta. You
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: gotta understand what got you here, what those things were
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: said about you. You know, like that that inner fire
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: that gets you going like and gets you about of
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: bed and to be at your best. Yeah, you know,
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: like that's what That's what drives me, That's what keeps
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: me going. And so you know, I'll never really be
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: able to reflect until the whole thing's over. Really, I think,
- 1:47:08Speaker 4: you know, like you, I mean, the goal is to
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: be the best ever, the goal with Super Bowls, and
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: then it'll come.
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll come. It's a team game, and we got
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: a good team. It's for the safety of you having
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: the same production that you've had. Your mindset is correct now.
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: I will tell you someone that has had success in
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: this league has made Pro Bowls. It has been all
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: pro and you don't take time to reflect on it.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: When you've had two acls in three years. You look
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: back on those things and you really think, like, man,
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: I really wish I don't know if you watch the Office,
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: but it's always like I wish I knew I was
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: in the good old times. So someone could tell me
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: so I could appreciate it more so I would. I
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: would hope that you take a little bit of that
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: and just I don't know, go celebrate with a nice
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: vacation for sure, and really sit with yourself and be like, dude,
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: because you're the fucking man like you really like in
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: the NFL. Like when you were a child, right, you're
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: talking about you growing up and stuff like that, that
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: child would look at you and be like, dude, that
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: guy's so fucking cool. That's true, and you've like really
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: done that and that's like that's that's a incredible feelings
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: so real.
- 1:48:10Speaker 4: It's the dream. Yeah, it really is the dream, Like
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: this is a dream.
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: Do you when when did you think, like, seeing where
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: you're at now, when did you think to yourself, oh,
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: that's an attainable goal. Like at what age did you think, Oh,
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: I'm going to make the NFL and I'm going to
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: be a dude in this NFL. I guess that's two
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: separate questions.
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: It is things like being being in the NFL and
- 1:48:29Speaker 4: being a dude in the NFL are two completely different things. Like,
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: I mean, making it is hard enough and then being
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: the one percent of the one percent is like insane. Yeah,
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: but yeah, I mean I thought I knew for sure.
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: I always wanted to be in the NFL. That's always like,
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: you know, you have your little kid dreams of I
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: want to I want to play in the NFL when
- 1:48:47Speaker 4: I grew up, you know, but it seemed real when
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: I got to college and like after my second season,
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: like my coaches were telling me like, hey, like teams
- 1:48:54Speaker 4: are you know, giving you draft grades of if you know,
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: like when you do come out, I'm okay, Like it
- 1:49:01Speaker 4: seems like it's right there, it's attainable. Yeah, And then
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: getting in the league and knowing that I could possibly
- 1:49:10Speaker 4: be amongst the top, probably late in my second year
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: started balling a little bit. I got a couple of
- 1:49:18Speaker 4: like player of the week's Player of the month, and
- 1:49:22Speaker 4: was making plays against the top guys. A Rod I
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: think that was the year. Was that the year and
- 1:49:26Speaker 4: my third year was when a Rod after the game
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: told me He's like, you're the best, like you should
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: be all pro. And I'm like, well, yes, yeah, hell, yes,
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: that's what I was validating, Like, yeah, it's Aaron Rodgers,
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: like the like the best of the best.
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: So that's a that's awesome. It's going from b YU too,
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: like that's a factory out there.
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: Yeah. No, we got we got, we got kicked. We
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: got kicked in pretty good by mission my second year.
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: Good yeah, good good, that's awesome.
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: Nice. Oh he's got her all soon? All right, one
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: last thing, speaking of b YU, you have an offer
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: to every single school in the country. You can't go
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: to b YU. Where is the school that you would
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: go right now? Right now? Yes? Because mine has kind
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: of changed over That's why I asked that mine's changed
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: a little bit, as I've mentioned an, I'll give you
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: mine in a little bit. I want to hear yours.
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: So my team, like we talked about my team growing up,
- 1:50:26Speaker 4: dream team was USC, and I think now with obviously
- 1:50:30Speaker 4: Lincoln Riley there easily go to USC.
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: I'd easily go to USC, played with Yeah, all right,
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: mine was growing up Pete Carroll at USC.
- 1:50:39Speaker 5: I love that.
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: And then that was when Colt McCoy was at Texas
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: and I was like, dude, those two schools, it would
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: be fucking awesome. Yeah. Nice. As I get older and
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: if I couldn't go to Michigan, I think, uh, dude,
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: I think l s U is a fucking cool school. Really. Yes,
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: I dated a girl in college that went to LSU,
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: so I spent some time in Baton Rouge. The campus
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: is rad. The stadium aarently is amazing, like in game experience.
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: So that's like I feel like that's where I would
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: lean to see my wife wins Obama. Yeah, so she's
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: actually probably gonna be angry. I didn't say Bama, but
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: there it's Obama boy. Yeah, roll tied. Oh yeah, nice brother.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: It's been an absolute pleasure for having you on this podcast.
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: Than you, it has been amazing. That was an awkward
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: handshake from me. I kind of got you. We'll get
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: another one when it's over. But seriously, a huge fan
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: of you after meeting you, I'm an even bigger fan now.
- 1:51:28Speaker 1: I hope all the success for you. Hopefully you guys
