- 1:18Speaker 3: September 24th, it's Lash Stylist Day, ladies.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Oh, God bless them. I don't know how they do it.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I don't know how you guys, you find ways to
- 1:27Speaker 3: spend money. Because it looks awesome. A lash stylist. You
- 1:30Speaker 3: say that, but then you're like, she's hot.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Like, yeah, she's totally put together.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I wonder what percentage of women actually have a lash stylist.
- 1:39Speaker 3: A good amount if you have extensions.
- 1:40Speaker 7: Yeah, if you got the extensions and they're dyed different colors,
- 1:44Speaker 7: that's pretty cool.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I love that. They look good. Menacee's National Punctuation Day.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Who needs it?
- 1:51Speaker 4: Don't need it, dog.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Dude, there are still adults that will text, and we
- 1:56Speaker 3: see them all the time when they text over here.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Other than the first letter, because the phone automatically does
- 2:02Speaker 3: that part for you.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Right.
- 2:03Speaker 3: There's no punctuation, and everything is in lowercase.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Oh, cool.
- 2:08Speaker 3: It's just one big run-on text. Yeah, totally. So try
- 2:11Speaker 3: to celebrate it today, National Punctuation Day.
- 2:13Speaker 9: And some people pluralize things by doing an apostrophe S.
- 2:17Speaker 3: You're doing it wrong. It is World Maritime Day. It
- 2:21Speaker 3: is National Cherries Jubilee Day. And National Horchata Day. Nice.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I'll take it. You know what is very exciting? I mean,
- 2:32Speaker 3: maybe it's not fall that you're excited for, but get excited.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I know Sammy is. The fall products available now at
- 2:39Speaker 3: Trader Joe's. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. We have an expert here.
- 2:43Speaker 3: She had posted something I saw on your Instagram. Yes.
- 2:48Speaker 3: She was so excited. She never posts. I know. Very rarely.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Hardly ever.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah, she made like a store display in her house.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yes, I did. Yes.
- 2:55Speaker 10: Because I had to buy all the new fall stuff
- 2:57Speaker 10: and I love to like have it out because it
- 2:58Speaker 10: looks all fall, but it's also functional.
- 3:00Speaker 3: You can eat it.
- 3:00Speaker 11: There's cookies in the boxes.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Like.
- 3:03Speaker 3: So good. There's so many new things. What are you
- 3:04Speaker 3: not getting? Give us some examples of the fall stuff available. Well,
- 3:09Speaker 3: the pumpkin bread, obviously. That's the go-to.
- 3:11Speaker 11: Everybody knows that one. They have new fall sugar cookies
- 3:14Speaker 11: that are shaped like leaves.
- 3:15Speaker 10: And they have new pasta that's like in different colors
- 3:18Speaker 10: shaped like leaves.
- 3:19Speaker 3: And it's super cute.
- 3:20Speaker 11: They have butternut squash soup.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Which is delicious. That is good. It's delicious, but is
- 3:25Speaker 3: it cute? It's cute.
- 3:26Speaker 9: It would look good on display.
- 3:29Speaker 11: Yeah, it's orange with a cute little label.
- 3:30Speaker 7: Everybody knows that, right?
- 3:33Speaker 11: Yeah, and they have apple pie ice cream.
- 3:36Speaker 7: I did try that. They had it on sample when
- 3:38Speaker 7: I was in there. And I was like, you know what?
- 3:40Speaker 7: I'm going to try this.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Guess what?
- 3:42Speaker 3: Tastes like apple pie. It did have like crust in it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I love that. Just like apple pie. It's crazy.
- 3:47Speaker 10: And they have pumpkin cranberry crisps. They're like crackers. If
- 3:50Speaker 10: you get that with goat cheese or something.
- 3:52Speaker 3: So good.
- 3:53Speaker 7: All right.
- 3:53Speaker 3: That's a word that I really can't say. Crisps. Crisps. Crisps.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Did I say it right?
- 3:58Speaker 7: Crisps.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Crisps.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Crisps.
- 4:02Speaker 6: It sounds a little bit like you're calling a cat.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Crisps. It's like saying texts.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Texts.
- 4:08Speaker 11: Yeah, they also have the apple pie spread. You put
- 4:10Speaker 11: it on bread and stuff.
- 4:11Speaker 3: It's so good. You know what?
- 4:12Speaker 10: I haven't seen yet this year, but they had it
- 4:14Speaker 10: last year, which was like an apple.
- 4:16Speaker 11: Cinnamon swirl bread. That is good. Do not pass that
- 4:19Speaker 11: one up. It's very, very good.
- 4:21Speaker 3: What are you?
- 4:21Speaker 4: Aren't you glad you asked? Yeah, I'm writing this down.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I mean, people do like Trader Joe's, you know, and
- 4:26Speaker 3: some of the seasonal stuff, the limited time stuff. Yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Like if you don't know about it, you know. Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Maybe you're missing out. And we do have a person
- 4:34Speaker 3: who's tapped into it. So we might as well take
- 4:36Speaker 3: advantage of the resources that we have. You got the plug.
- 4:39Speaker 3: People go hard for Trader Joe's.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Do you know what I really never hear about anymore
- 4:42Speaker 7: is Aldi. And Greg used to be a huge Aldi head.
- 4:45Speaker 7: The only person I knew that went there.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:48Speaker 9: They're kind of far away from where I live. And
- 4:51Speaker 9: it's not worth the drive. I don't think I want
- 4:54Speaker 9: to drive an extra whatever. 15 minutes to save 15 cents.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Oh, but not with these gas prices. Yeah, exactly.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Not actually saving money.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Right. Exactly. All right, 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Check in over to 22987. It is time for your
- 5:11Speaker 3: Thursday birthdays. And we'll start with the celebrities. It's kind

- 5:45Speaker 4: Nia Vardalos.
- 5:46Speaker 9: It's Vardalos?
- 5:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I never knew that.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Me neither.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I thought it was Vardalos. I always thought it was

- 8:28Speaker 3: And now more of the Woody Show.
- 8:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Let's see what we got in the way of the
- 8:37Speaker 3: trending news headlines. What do you got, Gina Grad?
- 8:40Speaker 6: A federal judge has ordered the White House to restore
- 8:42Speaker 6: those press credentials ASAP from CNN, Politico and MSNOW after
- 8:48Speaker 6: they were all banned last week. The judge granted a
- 8:50Speaker 6: temporary order restoring those passes for at least the next
- 8:53Speaker 6: 14 days. The judge also says that the White House
- 8:56Speaker 6: hadn't sufficiently justified its national security argument and that they
- 9:00Speaker 6: didn't follow the process for taking away credentials.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Dude, if you're one of the reporters who got to
- 9:05Speaker 3: not go to work, I guess, for a few days. Like, no, no, no,
- 9:07Speaker 3: we're good, we're good. It's like, oh, man. Now I
- 9:09Speaker 3: gotta go back. Also, I'm like, damn it.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Are you going to get called on when they do
- 9:15Speaker 7: that little press conference? They're like, Don't they have to
- 9:17Speaker 7: like call out the person for the massive question?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Don't forget.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Just stand there. Take your notes.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Well, former child actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas, you know, he
- 9:26Speaker 6: was the middle son Randy on Home Improvement. He had
- 9:28Speaker 6: a little running with the cops this week. Jonathan was
- 9:31Speaker 6: a passenger in a car that got pulled over and
- 9:34Speaker 6: deputies say that JTT, who's 45 now, by the way,
- 9:37Speaker 6: got out of the car even though he was repeatedly
- 9:39Speaker 6: told not to. Cops say he appeared intoxicated and they
- 9:43Speaker 6: eventually detained him for obstructing and resisting an officer and
- 9:46Speaker 6: being drunk in public.
- 9:47Speaker 3: He was released several hours later. We also heard that
- 9:50Speaker 3: he was like kicking cops. Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 9:53Speaker 9: Kicked one in the stomach, apparently.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Oh, damn.
- 9:55Speaker 7: He was in the episode of Karate Kid Returns, which
- 9:58Speaker 7: was in season six, episode 26. 22 of home improvement
- 10:01Speaker 7: how do you know that i don't know that's information
- 10:04Speaker 7: you retained but all these words that we bring to
- 10:08Speaker 7: the table yeah so he does have a background in karate.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Random jonathan taylor thomas cameos.
- 10:15Speaker 6: How many Teen Beat slash Tiger Boat beat posters did
- 10:19Speaker 6: you have?
- 10:19Speaker 4: I had all of them.
- 10:20Speaker 3: That's season two, episode six. If you scrub in about
- 10:24Speaker 3: 13 minutes, you'll see them.
- 10:26Speaker 4: That he is trained.
- 10:27Speaker 9: That is the ultimate stupidity. I can understand. I'm not
- 10:30Speaker 9: saying I condone it, but I understand. Let's say he
- 10:32Speaker 9: was the driver. He's pissed that he got busted.
- 10:34Speaker 3: He's angry. You're the passenger. Just sit there.
- 10:38Speaker 12: Sit down.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Idiot.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Well, Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to another 15 years
- 10:43Speaker 6: in prison for sexually assaulting a former TV production assistant
- 10:47Speaker 6: in 2006. Weinstein was originally convicted in New York in 2020,
- 10:51Speaker 6: but that conviction was overturned in 2024. He was given
- 10:55Speaker 6: a new trial, but a jury once again found him
- 10:57Speaker 6: guilty of a first degree criminal sex act. Weinstein has
- 11:01Speaker 6: already spent more than six years behind bars as the
- 11:04Speaker 6: case worked its way through the courts.
- 11:06Speaker 3: So with the Harvey Weinstein, are these just all different cases?
- 11:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:10Speaker 3: So he got sentenced for one already, right? So he's
- 11:12Speaker 3: serving time for that one. And then this is just
- 11:14Speaker 3: a different one. And then are they served consecutively or
- 11:18Speaker 3: is it one of those? All right. This one's 10 years.
- 11:21Speaker 3: This one gets added to the end.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Of it or– Well, as far as my understanding is–
- 11:25Speaker 6: There's so many of them. Yeah, but these are totally
- 11:27Speaker 6: separate trials, so I don't think they combine like that.
- 11:29Speaker 3: No, yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 10: There was something where it hadn't been released yet whether
- 11:33Speaker 10: he was going to be able to serve them concurrently
- 11:35Speaker 10: or not.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, because I'm saying if he's– I mean, he's going
- 11:37Speaker 3: to die in jail. Yeah, that's where I was going
- 11:39Speaker 3: with that. But, you know, so you're serving, say, 15
- 11:43Speaker 3: years already for a different case. Now there's this other case. Like,
- 11:47Speaker 3: all right, we're going to give you 10 years for
- 11:48Speaker 3: this one. But does that mean you start serving it
- 11:50Speaker 3: right now because you're already serving? Or like, nope, you
- 11:53Speaker 3: can't start it yet until you finish this one.
- 11:56Speaker 7: I think it's whatever they decide you can. Because it's
- 12:01Speaker 7: just like Sammy said. They can make a decision like, okay,
- 12:04Speaker 7: you serve this. Yeah, I've seen that before.
- 12:07Speaker 3: To be served concurrently, to be served consecutively. Oh, okay.
- 12:11Speaker 3: That makes sense now. You'd think it would be totally separate,
- 12:14Speaker 3: but I guess not. It's a pile of stuff I
- 12:16Speaker 3: don't understand.
- 12:16Speaker 11: Yeah, it says that hasn't been finalized yet.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Well, speaking of creepers, there's a story in the news
- 12:21Speaker 6: today about a woman who had a guy sitting next
- 12:23Speaker 6: to her on a United flight who just started masturbating.
- 12:27Speaker 6: He was staring directly at her as he did it,
- 12:29Speaker 6: by the way. She told the crew.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Flattering. Right?
- 12:33Speaker 6: But the flight was so full, there was nowhere for
- 12:35Speaker 6: her to go. So they just let her stand in
- 12:37Speaker 6: the aisle just to get away from him. But when
- 12:39Speaker 6: it was time to land, she says they made her
- 12:42Speaker 6: go back to her original seat next to this dude.
- 12:44Speaker 3: There's not another guy on that flight that's like, yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 3: you can sit next to me. Why don't you look
- 12:47Speaker 3: at me and do that, brother?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 4: I know, dude.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah, no volunteers. I'd be happy to volunteer. Yeah, see
- 12:53Speaker 3: where this goes. What are you doing, man?
- 12:55Speaker 4: I was super volunteered for that.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Well, here's the thing. Where's Morgan? Come on in here
- 12:59Speaker 3: real quick.
- 13:00Speaker 6: While she comes in, the plane got to the gate.
- 13:02Speaker 6: There were no cops, no nothing.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He just walked off the plane like nothing happened.
- 13:06Speaker 6: So she filed complaints with United and contacted the FBI herself.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Don't worry, guys.
- 13:10Speaker 6: For her trouble, United apologized and gave her a $ 100
- 13:14Speaker 6: flight credit.
- 13:16Speaker 13: Wow.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Now, you have said something along those lines, and I
- 13:20Speaker 3: brought you in because I don't want to misquote you. Okay.
- 13:22Speaker 3: You said, like, if you were in that situation, you
- 13:24Speaker 3: would be flattered?
- 13:26Speaker 8: Yeah, it's like getting a compliment from a guy on
- 13:28Speaker 8: the street or, you know.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you said you like catcalls, right? No, catcalls we've
- 13:32Speaker 3: talked about, but I seem to remember a conversation, and again,
- 13:35Speaker 3: I want to make sure I get it right. So,
- 13:36Speaker 3: brought her in with, if there was a guy... who
- 13:41Speaker 3: did this and you were the person he was staring
- 13:43Speaker 3: at while he was doing it, you said that you
- 13:45Speaker 3: would be flattered by it. Yeah, I wouldn't love the situation,
- 13:49Speaker 3: but I would take it as a compliment. Like, oh,
- 13:51Speaker 3: he thinks I'm cute.
- 13:52Speaker 4: But would you.
- 13:53Speaker 11: Sit there and stay there?
- 13:55Speaker 3: He's showing at me. Would you talk dirty to him
- 13:57Speaker 3: to get him to finish quicker? Yeah, you want to.
- 13:59Speaker 7: Wrap it up.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Let's get through this. That's a great idea, just get
- 14:02Speaker 3: it over with.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Oh, man, it's so hot.
- 14:06Speaker 8: I mean, it would be awkward, right? But I'd be
- 14:10Speaker 8: lying if I said I wouldn't be flattered.
- 14:11Speaker 3: But would you switch seats or would you be like,
- 14:14Speaker 3: it's fine?
- 14:15Speaker 8: I would try to switch seats, I think. But then,
- 14:17Speaker 8: I mean, this girl couldn't switch, so she's stuck there, right?
- 14:20Speaker 3: She's standing in the aisle. That's nuts. Hey, but you
- 14:23Speaker 3: know what? For a $ 100 voucher. Worth it.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Okay, so I do have a question. We know automatically
- 14:29Speaker 7: Sammy's calling the cops, but let's just say.
- 14:31Speaker 8: Yes, yes.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 14:32Speaker 7: How dare you? Let's just say it's legit Edelman that
- 14:36Speaker 7: did it.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 14:37Speaker 3: And it's like him, like. Yeah, it's not a person
- 14:40Speaker 3: that looked like him. One of Sammy's objects of lust.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Wouldn't you be like, well, you're not the person I
- 14:45Speaker 3: thought you were.
- 14:45Speaker 6: You're nuts.
- 14:45Speaker 11: That's exactly right. You would go like, oh, my God,
- 14:48Speaker 11: this is that would still be so creepy.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And then I would be like, I don't like him anymore. Like,
- 14:53Speaker 3: but you even call the cops. then she might go
- 14:56Speaker 3: home and use that from her spank bank to knock
- 14:59Speaker 3: one out later. Everything changes if he's hot.
- 15:02Speaker 6: No, because there are hot actors that you hear do
- 15:06Speaker 6: crazy stuff, and you're like, eh, nah, I'm out.
- 15:08Speaker 11: Yeah, they're super weirdos, turns out.
- 15:09Speaker 10: Yeah, he would be a super weirdo if he did that,
- 15:12Speaker 10: and then I wouldn't like him, and he wouldn't be
- 15:13Speaker 10: the person that I thought he was, and it would
- 15:15Speaker 10: be gross.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And if that goes into spank bank, that's a different conversation.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Two things can be true. You know what I mean?
- 15:22Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Even if that was, he could still be like, that
- 15:26Speaker 6: guy's pretty gross. But that's a separate conversation.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Maybe you're into gross.
- 15:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Maybe you're into creepy.
- 15:32Speaker 9: I've never witnessed it, but I'm with Morgan.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I think it would be flattering. Of all these people
- 15:36Speaker 3: on this plane, he picked me. Right.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Well, you were sitting next to him.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but forget that.
- 15:40Speaker 6: You have an assigned seat.
- 15:43Speaker 3: If I'm sitting... This could not be more far-fetched. Let's
- 15:46Speaker 3: say I'm sitting on a plane and there's a woman
- 15:48Speaker 3: sitting next to me and she starts diddling herself while
- 15:50Speaker 3: staring at me. I'm psyched. Thank you. That's different as
- 15:55Speaker 3: a guy, right? Yeah, it's a gender thing.
- 15:56Speaker 9: And also when it comes to this dude. He is
- 16:00Speaker 9: maybe started doing it because he looked at you.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Thank you, Greg.
- 16:03Speaker 4: You got him horny.
- 16:04Speaker 3: So it's your fault.
- 16:05Speaker 6: Yeah, you should have bought him a drink.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Maybe he's not always a creep. It's just you brought
- 16:08Speaker 3: it out of him. Greg, are you saying it's the
- 16:10Speaker 3: woman's fault here? Is that what you're saying?
- 16:13Speaker 9: Morgan, you're too good looking.
- 16:14Speaker 3: She's too real, victim. No, dude, that sucks. I mean,
- 16:17Speaker 3: I see you in the art. She paid 400 bucks
- 16:19Speaker 3: for her tickets. They offered her– they should have at
- 16:21Speaker 3: least refunded the flight. Exactly. Yeah, they gave her a
- 16:24Speaker 3: $ 100 voucher, which– have you seen the airline prices?
- 16:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 16:27Speaker 4: You can't go anywhere.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Drop in the bucket. You might get a checked bag
- 16:31Speaker 3: for that.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Well, bad news if you're one of those people who
- 16:34Speaker 6: stuffs as much as you can into a carry-on to
- 16:36Speaker 6: avoid checking the bag, you know, and paying for that.
- 16:38Speaker 6: The TSA's new 3D scanners have a smaller opening, actually
- 16:43Speaker 6: an inch almost smaller than those old X-ray machines we're
- 16:47Speaker 6: used to. And that means that some bags technically meet
- 16:49Speaker 6: an airline's carry-on limits may not fit through these new scanners.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they do this on purpose.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Of course.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I think they're in cahoots with the airlines, right? Absolutely.
- 16:57Speaker 3: So they're in cahoots with the airlines like, look, if
- 16:59Speaker 3: it doesn't fit, it doesn't ship, right? So if it
- 17:02Speaker 3: doesn't make it through this new scanner, this thing, the
- 17:06Speaker 3: 3D scan, therefore you have to check it.
- 17:08Speaker 4: And you have to pay.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yep.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Correct.
- 17:10Speaker 7: And I, dude, I've been burned on that too, because
- 17:12Speaker 7: they have that little metal box. If it doesn't fit
- 17:15Speaker 7: in that metal box.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I never, I skipped that thing. Yeah. Well, because if
- 17:18Speaker 3: you have the typical little carry on roller bag, right.
- 17:22Speaker 3: It doesn't, it doesn't account for like, if you take
- 17:25Speaker 3: that extra zipper that makes it so you can put
- 17:28Speaker 3: more extender, that makes it too big.
- 17:32Speaker 6: And that box has definitely gotten smaller.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It won't fit in that box.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yeah, of course not.
- 17:35Speaker 7: And you say, I skipped that, Gina, but like when
- 17:39Speaker 7: Spirit was around, they had one of those right there.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Oh, I remember.
- 17:42Speaker 3: But I still always got around it. Now, the thing is,
- 17:45Speaker 3: people to get around the checked bag fee, they will
- 17:48Speaker 3: bring a ton of stuff. And so... You know, I
- 17:51Speaker 3: see these articles every once in a while about how
- 17:53Speaker 3: do we cut down on that? How do we make
- 17:54Speaker 3: the boarding process more efficient with people? Because they have
- 17:57Speaker 3: so much stuff. Some stuff's going under the seat. This
- 17:59Speaker 3: is going up in the overhead compartment. They say, you know, something,
- 18:03Speaker 3: if you have more than one item, one of those
- 18:05Speaker 3: items has to go in the seat. Yes, in front
- 18:07Speaker 3: of you. Under the seat in front of you. Because
- 18:08Speaker 3: you just can't, like, just put everything in.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Take up all the bin space.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Because then there's no more overhead space. Yeah. Just because
- 18:12Speaker 3: you brought everything you own.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Have you seen those videos of, like, This is a
- 18:16Speaker 6: new coat and it has like basically the coat becomes
- 18:19Speaker 6: the suitcase with like 18,000.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Pockets in it. Yeah, exactly.
- 18:24Speaker 6: And finally, get ready to pay more for streaming. Disney
- 18:27Speaker 6: is raising prices on Disney Plus and Hulu again. The
- 18:31Speaker 6: new prices kick in now for new subscribers and next
- 18:34Speaker 6: month for current subscribers. And a bunch of the standalone
- 18:37Speaker 6: plans and bundles are going to get more expensive, too.
- 18:39Speaker 6: So here's one little bit of good news, though. The
- 18:41Speaker 6: ad-supported Disney Plus and Hulu bundle is staying at $ 12. 99
- 18:45Speaker 6: a month.
- 18:45Speaker 3: So with ads, you're still paying $ 13 a month?
- 18:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:49Speaker 3: What's the point? So you get the ads and you
- 18:51Speaker 3: get the pay?
- 18:51Speaker 6: Yeah, because the ads are offsetting the cost of the
- 18:54Speaker 6: new charge. So Disney has been raising streaming prices over
- 18:58Speaker 6: the past few years in order for customers to kind
- 19:01Speaker 6: of get steered toward those bundles and those ad-supported plans.
- 19:04Speaker 6: So we cut the cord to save money, but now
- 19:07Speaker 6: we're back to 14 separate apps.
- 19:09Speaker 3: So we have 14 cords.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:10Speaker 3: It's like the thing I was telling you the other day.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Now the math works out on average. They say the
- 19:15Speaker 3: average person is now paying more. For all the story.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I forget what the number. The average person has X
- 19:22Speaker 3: number of apps, right?
- 19:23Speaker 4: They have Hulu. They have Netflix.
- 19:24Speaker 3: If you average out what people are paying for all
- 19:26Speaker 3: those apps compared to the average now cost. So the
- 19:30Speaker 3: average cost of cable TV has now gotten cheaper.
- 19:32Speaker 4: That's so crazy.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Than the average number of apps that people have.
- 19:36Speaker 7: I'm contemplating actually just canceling all of it because I
- 19:39Speaker 7: don't even watch any of it. And I have all
- 19:41Speaker 7: the apps.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Well, how do you watch? Oh, and I watched the
- 19:44Speaker 3: show that you had mentioned for the first time ever. What?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Thousand Pound Roommates. Oh, yeah.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I did too.
- 19:49Speaker 3: It's lit.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I didn't hate it.
- 19:50Speaker 3: They talk about sex way too much. It's gross.
- 19:53Speaker 7: The part that I was going to get to is
- 19:55Speaker 7: anything important, I'll see like clips of it online.
- 19:58Speaker 3: So I don't even have to watch anything. Cancel them. Yeah.
- 20:01Speaker 3: So wait, there's no show on You don't watch shows?
- 20:03Speaker 3: You just watch clips from shows?
- 20:05Speaker 7: Dude, I feel like I never even watch anything anymore.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Well, you're going to have to have something because your
- 20:11Speaker 3: wife watches sports. Menace doesn't. But Nacho will watch NBA.
- 20:16Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 20:16Speaker 4: She'll watch the playoffs.
- 20:17Speaker 3: She'll drink a beer and watch a basketball game. Meanwhile,
- 20:20Speaker 3: Menace is pacing and waiting to watch Mormon Housewives or
- 20:23Speaker 3: whatever it is.
- 20:25Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know. They have everything that's important in
- 20:29Speaker 7: clip form online, so I don't really need to watch it.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 20:33Speaker 9: I just wish that one streamer would do my idea.
- 20:36Speaker 9: Every time Hulu raises their price, we drop our price.
- 20:39Speaker 4: It would rule.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Counteract it.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Like gas stations. Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Well, they say that, you know, because they're going to
- 20:45Speaker 7: increase all this.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:48Speaker 7: They increase the prices so much that everybody's going to
- 20:51Speaker 7: dial it back, and then it will deflate.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Let's let it crash, and then we'll start over. It's
- 20:58Speaker 3: not just Disney Plus and Hulu. I mean, I feel
- 21:02Speaker 3: like every other day, Netflix is sending me something like, hey,
- 21:04Speaker 3: just to give you a heads up. New update. Yeah, Peacock,
- 21:07Speaker 3: all that stuff.
- 21:07Speaker 6: New charge, yep. Well, that's what's going on, Woody.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Did you ever sign up for YouTube Premium, Greg? I
- 21:12Speaker 3: did not.
- 21:13Speaker 9: I'm still thinking about it, and I'm trying to figure
- 21:15Speaker 9: out which one I want to dump in order to
- 21:17Speaker 9: take that one on.
- 21:18Speaker 4: He has to talk to his finance guy.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I do. His credit app isn't approved yet. The
- 21:24Speaker 3: one I watch the least is Netflix.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Really?
- 21:27Speaker 9: So I might dump Netflix and go YouTube.
- 21:30Speaker 3: For me, it's Hulu. Really? I love Hulu. Yeah, I
- 21:32Speaker 3: don't watch Hulu very much. Yeah. But yeah, Netflix is...
- 21:36Speaker 3: I would say Netflix and... YouTube premium.
- 21:40Speaker 9: I don't like the Netflix interface.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It bothers me. Yeah, Greg doesn't like where it says,
- 21:45Speaker 3: are you still watching? He hates that so much. I
- 21:49Speaker 3: think that's his beef.
- 21:50Speaker 7: I use legit the most, I think, is Apple TV.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Yeah, Apple TV. Peacock's good. I don't have that anymore.
- 21:58Speaker 3: We've gone into week number three of this new NFL season.
- 22:08Speaker 3: And what we're doing this season here on The Woody Show,
- 22:10Speaker 3: two people here on the show will go head-to-head, picking
- 22:13Speaker 3: who they think will be the biggest loser in the
- 22:16Speaker 3: NFL in that particular week. So that's the team that
- 22:19Speaker 3: will lose by the most amount of points. And last week,
- 22:23Speaker 3: Menace beat Sammy. So he is the reigning champion.
- 22:27Speaker 4: But barely.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Sammy's biggest loser pick. Won the game. Won the game. So, yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 3: that didn't exactly go the way most people thought it
- 22:36Speaker 3: was going to go. No. But this week, Menace gets
- 22:40Speaker 3: to play again because he is the reigning champion.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 3: First of all, peen.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 3: And then he's going to take on Gina. Ooh. This
- 22:49Speaker 3: time around.
- 22:50Speaker 6: All right.
- 22:51Speaker 3: So, again, you pick the team that you think will
- 22:54Speaker 3: be the biggest loser. And as the tiebreaker, how many
- 22:57Speaker 3: points you think they're going to lose by. And what
- 23:01Speaker 3: is your pick?
- 23:02Speaker 4: I mean, there's a lot.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Gina.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Oh, Gina.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:04Speaker 3: So, let's start with Gina.
- 23:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 6: I think the Dolphins are going to be the biggest loser.
- 23:11Speaker 6: They're going to play the Chiefs. I'm from Kansas City.
- 23:14Speaker 6: I'm always rooting for the Chiefs. And I think they
- 23:17Speaker 6: beat the Colts last week. So I'm going to say
- 23:20Speaker 6: the Dolphins are going to lose by 12 points.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Lose by 12. Yeah. All right.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Menace?
- 23:27Speaker 7: Well, I pretty much had the same as her.
- 23:32Speaker 3: You can go with that one. It could be down
- 23:33Speaker 3: to the picks. It was pretty much the exact same thing. So, uh, yeah,
- 23:40Speaker 3: like 10, 10 or 12 is what? 11. Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 4: The line's 11 and a half right now.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 6: So yeah, that's what I.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Was talking about.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 7: I mean, there's, there's a lot of interesting games, you know,
- 23:52Speaker 7: you have the chiefs and dolphins and then you have
- 23:54Speaker 7: lions and jets that could be really good. And then
- 23:56Speaker 7: you have 49ers Cardinals, which I'm actually going to go
- 23:59Speaker 7: to that game. Uh, but I mean, yeah, the one
- 24:03Speaker 7: that makes the most sense is chiefs and dolphins. So
- 24:08Speaker 7: let's say that I'll say that the Chiefs beat them
- 24:11Speaker 7: by more than 12.
- 24:13Speaker 3: You got to give a number of points. Let's say 14. 14.
- 24:18Speaker 4: All right.
- 24:21Speaker 3: So they both pick the Dolphins to be the biggest loser.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I mean, obviously, if you just look at if you
- 24:26Speaker 3: don't know anything, you look at the spread. Right. Yeah.
- 24:29Speaker 3: The other one that was interesting is like you mentioned
- 24:31Speaker 3: that 49ers Arizona game.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 3: The thing is, though, like Arizona was surprising.
- 24:37Speaker 4: The first week.
- 24:38Speaker 3: In week one, not as surprising. Week two, because week
- 24:43Speaker 3: three is still kind of like a wild card.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 14: I think that's a safe bet in that case because
- 24:49Speaker 14: the Niners are at their own stadium in their home.
- 24:52Speaker 3: That line is eight and a half.
- 24:54Speaker 4: I can't.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Man, I'm so not looking forward to going to that stadium.
- 24:59Speaker 7: That stadium sucks so hard. Levi's Stadium for the 49ers
- 25:03Speaker 7: is the worst.
- 25:03Speaker 3: It's an ugly stadium.
- 25:04Speaker 7: It's the worst, and it has this weird sun thing
- 25:08Speaker 7: where half of the stadium stays in the shade and
- 25:10Speaker 7: the other half is 1,000 degrees.
- 25:12Speaker 3: I think it looks ugly on camera. Really?
- 25:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 1: It's horrible.
- 25:16Speaker 3: That huge, tall, flat facade. Off-putting, yeah. The shape of
- 25:21Speaker 3: it is strange. It's really weird. It is the worst.
- 25:23Speaker 7: And then they tore down their old stadium thinking that
- 25:26Speaker 7: they were going to build stuff there, and then it's
- 25:27Speaker 7: just been empty this whole time.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Well, it's because the neighborhood blows, right?
- 25:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Is it called Hunter's Point?
- 25:31Speaker 4: No, HP, yeah. Wasn't it like really dangerous? It was
- 25:34Speaker 4: like one of the most dangerous places.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Like you leave that where the immediate area where the
- 25:37Speaker 3: stadium was and it was like, you know, take your
- 25:39Speaker 3: life in your own hands.
- 25:40Speaker 4: It's kind of like USC.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Yeah, straight up, but the neighborhood has gotten much better.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Okay, well, my biggest loser pick is I actually, I'm
- 25:50Speaker 3: going to go with Arizona.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:52Speaker 9: And San Francisco.
- 25:53Speaker 4: I hope you're right.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Because it's always these games that seem so obvious
- 25:57Speaker 3: on paper, Kansas City and Miami. Miami sucks. They're so bad.
- 26:02Speaker 3: They could end up being the biggest loser of the season.
- 26:04Speaker 3: I would agree. But for whatever reason, I always feel
- 26:08Speaker 3: like in this kind of thing, it's a trap. It's
- 26:11Speaker 3: just too easy.
- 26:12Speaker 4: It's too easy.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah. So I think the most likely after that would
- 26:16Speaker 3: be Arizona to be the biggest loser. Jeff G., do
- 26:19Speaker 3: you have a thought?
- 26:20Speaker 14: Yeah, I would say I agree with Gina and Menace,
- 26:23Speaker 14: but I'll raise you guys a few more points. I
- 26:25Speaker 14: think the Dolphins win somewhere by... I'm sorry.
- 26:28Speaker 7: Yeah, I was about to say.
- 26:29Speaker 4: KC wins by 17.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's going to be that big of a...
- 26:34Speaker 4: A difference.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:35Speaker 7: What do you think about that Lions-Jets game?
- 26:37Speaker 4: I think that's going to be close.
- 26:38Speaker 14: Jets have actually been playing pretty decent, and Lions haven't
- 26:41Speaker 14: been living up to expectations, so I think that's going
- 26:43Speaker 14: to be actually a tighter game. What I'm worried about
- 26:45Speaker 14: is my Chargers actually being the biggest loser, because the
- 26:47Speaker 14: Bills at home have been playing amazing, and the Chargers
- 26:50Speaker 14: freaking blow.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yep, they suck.
- 26:51Speaker 4: So the Chargers might be the biggest loser this week.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Hey, let me talk about my team, man. The Steelers.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Steelers are playing Cincinnati. Now, the only thing is, they're
- 26:59Speaker 3: playing in Pittsburgh, right? And these... uh, you know, division
- 27:02Speaker 3: games usually split, you know, uh, they'll win this one,
- 27:06Speaker 3: but when we'll win the next one, but they lost
- 27:08Speaker 3: so bad. The thing is like Joe Burrow's not injured yet. Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 3: So maybe by the second time around this season, when
- 27:16Speaker 3: we play them, he'll be injured and then we'll split
- 27:17Speaker 3: and we'll win that one.
- 27:18Speaker 4: But exactly.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I don't see the Steelers winning this one.
- 27:21Speaker 4: I do have a quick question for you on the line.
- 27:23Speaker 14: Since she picked 12 and he picked 14, is it
- 27:26Speaker 14: the closest to the score without going over?
- 27:29Speaker 4: How do we determine that line?
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Well, it's closest to however many points they lost by, right?
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Well, I guess, yeah, you're right. Because if it's 13,
- 27:35Speaker 3: then it splits. That's the only... Maybe without... We go
- 27:38Speaker 3: again next week.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Maybe without.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Well, you know what? In the regular season, those games
- 27:42Speaker 3: can end in a tie. Okay. If they go through overtime. Oh,
- 27:45Speaker 3: all right.
- 27:46Speaker 6: So then it'll be me and Menace against somebody else.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Following the week. All right. 877-44-WOODY. Give us your thoughts.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Who do you think is going to be the biggest
- 27:53Speaker 3: loser in week three? 877-44-WOODY for calling in. Text over
- 27:58Speaker 3: to 2297. Greg Gorey.
- 27:59Speaker 9: My quest for learning continues. Is there a difference between
- 28:02Speaker 9: the spread and the line? That's essentially the same thing.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Okay. Essentially the same thing. Yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 9: I'm hearing the line a lot this season, and I've
- 28:10Speaker 9: always heard it as the spread.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Yeah. It's the same. Okay.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Same thing.
- 28:14Speaker 3: In a time of luxury, why wouldn't you use it? Nostalgia?
- 28:18Speaker 1: I may.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I may do it in the dark. You might want
- 28:20Speaker 3: to do it outdoors. The Woody Show. You know who's
- 28:27Speaker 3: on the show today? It's the guy who you've seen
- 28:31Speaker 3: on social media. Well, a lot of people have seen
- 28:32Speaker 3: him on social media going to every Chinese buffet until
- 28:37Speaker 3: he gets food poisoning. Oh, yeah. Mullet review. Love that guy.
- 28:40Speaker 3: We're gooning out, boys. Hell yeah. Yeah. I'm so excited.
- 28:44Speaker 4: He has dominated the internet.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 7: There's so many people that don't know each other that
- 28:49Speaker 7: I know in my world that mention him.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, he rules.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Same.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Yeah. I think, you know what?
- 28:53Speaker 4: Because it's universal. Yeah. Everybody got to eat.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, it's not about politics or sports or
- 28:59Speaker 3: anything that can, you know, get people fighting. It's not divisive. Yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 5: No.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not.
- 29:04Speaker 3: He's just he's out there being adventurous and going to
- 29:07Speaker 3: all these Asian buffets until he gets food poisoning. His
- 29:13Speaker 3: name is Brandon. And he's going to be calling in.
- 29:17Speaker 3: He lives in Ohio.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't make it in in person, but yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 3: the Chinese buffet until I get food poisoning guy will
- 29:27Speaker 3: be on the show here today. Phones are open 877-44-WOODY.
- 29:32Speaker 3: You can send us a text over to 22987. Dude,
- 29:34Speaker 3: Jamie Foxx is 58 years old. Right. And there's another
- 29:40Speaker 3: baby on the way. Oh, man. Like, why you would.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Can't stop, won't stop. Forget the thing that, oh, you
- 29:46Speaker 3: got people and they're gonna... Yeah, right. You still have
- 29:48Speaker 3: a child.
- 29:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:50Speaker 3: You're 60. Somebody's got to deal with it. You're 60. Yeah.
- 29:53Speaker 3: And any parent out there, man, once you get out
- 29:56Speaker 3: of that diaper phase, I'm just like, man, there's no
- 29:58Speaker 3: going back.
- 29:59Speaker 6: Can you imagine?
- 30:00Speaker 3: There's nothing you can do or say that would convince
- 30:01Speaker 3: me like, oh, you know what? Maybe it is a
- 30:03Speaker 3: good idea. Once you get out of that.
- 30:05Speaker 4: To start over.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 30:06Speaker 9: Is it the equivalent of you have an old dog,
- 30:08Speaker 9: so you get a puppy to kind of cheer it up.
- 30:11Speaker 3: And peck it up? To do the transition. Yeah.
- 30:13Speaker 9: Oh, it's going to make the other dog feel so
- 30:14Speaker 9: much younger.
- 30:16Speaker 3: It's a kid with a girlfriend. Okay.
- 30:18Speaker 4: I was about to say, does he live with the
- 30:19Speaker 4: baby mama?
- 30:20Speaker 3: Yeah, his other daughters are 32 and 18. Whoa. He
- 30:25Speaker 3: admits that his age has crossed his mind, but said
- 30:28Speaker 3: talking to Al Pacino, there's another one.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 30:30Speaker 6: He's like 90 and has a baby.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Who became a dad again in his 80s.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 3: It said it made 58 suddenly seem pretty reasonable.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Well, they're going to compare to him. By the time
- 30:41Speaker 3: the kid graduated high school, Jamie's going to be 76
- 30:43Speaker 3: years old. Sweet. Wow. Yeah, 60 is the new 20.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You're right on the text. It is. It's like 20, totally.
- 30:49Speaker 6: So I guess the question is, how old is the girlfriend?
- 30:52Speaker 6: Because if she's like, I want a baby, then if
- 30:55Speaker 6: you're going to keep her around, you got to have
- 30:57Speaker 6: the baby.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 4: I was just seeing that.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Oh, she's 30.
- 31:01Speaker 7: This video talking about Theo Vaughn's dad, because Theo Vaughn's
- 31:04Speaker 7: dad was seven years old.
- 31:05Speaker 3: He was way old.
- 31:06Speaker 4: When he was born. When he was born.
- 31:08Speaker 7: And his dad died when he was 16. And you're like, oh,
- 31:11Speaker 7: old age? No, in a gun accident.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 3: So he's 86. Did you guys see any of the
- 31:18Speaker 3: clip with Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 31:23Speaker 3: I did not. So Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, they've
- 31:26Speaker 3: joked for years. They might actually be brothers.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 31:29Speaker 3: And Woody Harrelson now says that he has definite confirmation
- 31:33Speaker 3: that their parents hooked up.
- 31:35Speaker 2: What?
- 31:36Speaker 3: So the whole theory started because McConaughey's mom, Kay, told
- 31:41Speaker 3: them years ago that she knew Woody's dad, Charles Harrelson,
- 31:46Speaker 3: around the time that Matthew was conceived. And so Woody
- 31:52Speaker 3: Harrelson now says that he has confirmed that his dad
- 31:55Speaker 3: was And Matthew McConaughey's mom definitely had sex. Oh, my God.
- 32:00Speaker 3: So here's a story about the day Matthew McConaughey was born.
- 32:03Speaker 3: This is here. They are talking a long time before
- 32:06Speaker 3: my mom shared this with us. He had told me
- 32:08Speaker 3: that when she was going to the hospital to give
- 32:11Speaker 3: birth to him, she says, come on, Jim. Let's go.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I'm going to give birth. He goes, I'm not going.
- 32:16Speaker 3: That ain't my son. The reason he said that ain't
- 32:19Speaker 3: my kid is because he knew that math wasn't math.
- 32:22Speaker 3: All right. Now, again, nothing's been proven. No kind of
- 32:26Speaker 3: DNA test. I guess you can get more for that one.
- 32:30Speaker 3: It's kind of convenient. They're talking about this. They're promoting
- 32:31Speaker 3: their new show on Apple TV. It's called Brothers.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks pretty funny.
- 32:35Speaker 3: So there is that. But I do like both those guys.
- 32:38Speaker 6: And I don't know if we're allowed to call this
- 32:40Speaker 6: a fun fact because it's kind of sad, but do
- 32:42Speaker 6: you know how Matthew McConaughey's dad died?
- 32:45Speaker 3: Having sex. Yes, with his mother in our.
- 32:47Speaker 4: Deck in the middle.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 32:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Wait, whose dad was like a serial killer or something?
- 32:51Speaker 9: Well, Woody Harrelson's dad went to prison, I believe, for murder. Oh,
- 32:55Speaker 9: maybe that's what I'm getting confused with.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 9: I don't think he was a serial killer per se,
- 32:59Speaker 9: but I'm pretty sure.
- 33:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 3: It's Mr.
- 33:01Speaker 8: Harrelson.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Yeah, he died in prison. Another question from the 323.
- 33:05Speaker 3: It says, I don't know if I'm hearing it correctly,
- 33:07Speaker 3: but are you saying gooning out? I know. I think
- 33:10Speaker 3: the same thing.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Gooning, boys.
- 33:12Speaker 3: It means something very different. Okay, I read... Very different.
- 33:17Speaker 3: I read a story, and there's a lawsuit in the news.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Dollar Tree is being sued over... There's an online trend
- 33:24Speaker 3: called Dollar Tree Gooners. What? Where men.
- 33:30Speaker 3: They leave their goo on unsuspecting women inside the stores
- 33:34Speaker 3: and they post videos of it online. Oh, God. Dollar
- 33:38Speaker 3: tree gooners. This society. What we're saying is like we're
- 33:40Speaker 3: gooning out now, boys. That's a line from the guy
- 33:43Speaker 3: that we're having on, the Chinese buffet until I get
- 33:46Speaker 3: food poisoning guy. And he's talking about crab rangoon.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Right. And so when he gets one and he takes
- 33:52Speaker 3: a bite of it, he goes.
- 33:53Speaker 4: He likes it.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 33:54Speaker 3: We're gooning out now. Or not gooning out. We're gooning now, boys. Right, right.
- 33:58Speaker 3: That's just his thing. Because it's Crab Rangoon. Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:01Speaker 3: So the lawsuit was filed by a woman in San Diego,
- 34:04Speaker 3: says it happened to her. And since then, at least
- 34:07Speaker 3: 11 other women around the country have reportedly come forward
- 34:10Speaker 3: with similar claims. The lawsuit accuses Dollar Tree of knowing
- 34:14Speaker 3: that this was happening in their stores and not doing
- 34:16Speaker 3: enough to stop it. I don't know what you're supposed
- 34:18Speaker 3: to do.
- 34:19Speaker 6: And in Dollar Tree, isn't there like one employee for
- 34:21Speaker 6: like 87 customers?
- 34:23Speaker 3: Dollar Tree, they're fighting back. They're saying like, we took
- 34:25Speaker 3: appropriate steps to deal with the incidents. I don't know. Like,
- 34:27Speaker 3: what do you want us to do? You want to
- 34:29Speaker 3: give us like a poncho when you walk in? In
- 34:32Speaker 3: case it rains? Some rubber gloves?
- 34:35Speaker 4: I understand.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Like, that sucks. And whoever does that. Whoever, if you're
- 34:39Speaker 3: a Dollar Tree gooner and you're doing it, of course
- 34:42Speaker 3: you should be picked up and taken away and sent
- 34:45Speaker 3: to jail. What's the Dollar Tree supposed to do? People
- 34:47Speaker 3: coming in and out of there? Getting deals?
- 34:49Speaker 4: I do have a recommendation. Fix the lighting.
- 34:52Speaker 7: There's another, that's another store that have issue with the lighting.
- 34:55Speaker 3: So depressing. Will that keep dudes from dropping goo on people?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Make it brighter in there.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 35:01Speaker 2: All right.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Just psychologically, like those cameras, even if they're not on,
- 35:04Speaker 6: it makes you think twice.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Yeah. 877. All those deals make them horny. Yeah. 877-44-WOODY.
- 35:10Speaker 3: You can send us your text. You can check in
- 35:13Speaker 3: over to 22987. Some more Woody Show next. Hang on.
- 35:16Speaker 5: The Woody Show.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Be back in a bit.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Woody.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Oh.
- 35:24Speaker 12: Look at that.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Oh, that's lovely.
- 35:28Speaker 3: The Woody Show. Oh, babe. It's Seabass, guys. Aw, babe.
- 35:32Speaker 7: Hey, what's up?
- 35:33Speaker 4: Aw, babe. It's like a ray of sunshine just entered
- 35:35Speaker 4: the studio. Yeah. Like toast.
- 35:38Speaker 3: For sure. Are you saying that sarcastically? No. Yeah? He
- 35:42Speaker 3: came in here bitching about Vaughn's music in the office.
- 35:46Speaker 4: I'm not the only one.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Well, because you brought it up on the show before.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I brought it up to our executive producer. I brought
- 35:53Speaker 4: it up to Hot Seat.
- 35:54Speaker 3: And some people just need to be fired. The point
- 35:56Speaker 3: is it's not.
- 35:57Speaker 4: I just don't learn.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I said just don't learn. Just don't learn. But I'm
- 35:59Speaker 3: saying the point is for you, it's not gotten any better.
- 36:03Speaker 4: Well, the banging on the table has gotten better.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 36:06Speaker 3: So there's no more desk drumming? Right.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Desk drumming.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Okay. In a room where two or three other people
- 36:11Speaker 3: are doing work. Okay.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Some people are just high slash oblivious.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Are you calling for your own office? That would be nice.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Can we get like an Olympic weight set and a
- 36:22Speaker 4: treadmill in there?
- 36:24Speaker 3: Oh, no, wait. Okay, I'll pay for those myself. Settle down.
- 36:28Speaker 3: This week in audio. What do you got, CBass?
- 36:29Speaker 4: All right, well, speaking of people making noise that need
- 36:31Speaker 4: to be shut up.
- 36:33Speaker 3: That need to be shut up. Don't be this guy. Okay.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Number one, he's a fan of the Browns, Woody, so
- 36:39Speaker 4: I'm sure you love him.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 36:40Speaker 4: A fan, excuse me, a fan of the Tampa Bay
- 36:42Speaker 4: Buccaneers who lost to the Browns, and he doesn't like
- 36:46Speaker 4: that either. So what he does is he waits until
- 36:48Speaker 4: the end of the game, you know, a couple of 10,
- 36:50Speaker 4: 15 minutes afterwards, gets by the players, you know, entrance
- 36:53Speaker 4: to their tunnel. And he just sits there with his
- 36:55Speaker 4: kid and screams at the players.
- 36:57Speaker 7: Oh, cool guy.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Because he's a grown adult man. There's a little bit
- 36:59Speaker 4: of that.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Where's coach?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Here comes Baker.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Here comes Baker's bitch ass.
- 37:03Speaker 6: You're going to get.
- 37:04Speaker 2: An earful from me.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Come on down, Baker.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Come on down. That's 62! Hey, Baker!
- 37:09Speaker 4: You f * * * ed up!
- 37:10Speaker 3: Come on, buddy! You f * * * ed up!
- 37:24Speaker 4: And he's recording that himself as if that's a good thing.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:28Speaker 3: And he waited to do that. It wasn't in the
- 37:30Speaker 3: moment or anything.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Helmets are off. Everyone's done all their crap. Again, they're
- 37:33Speaker 4: leaving the field. He thinks that's cool.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It's a good example for the children.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Good bonding experience.
- 37:39Speaker 4: I cannot think of a bigger loser move other than
- 37:41Speaker 4: maybe the people who do street takeovers.
- 37:44Speaker 3: What if he's just doing the yelling and screaming, but
- 37:46Speaker 3: he's not videotaping it and putting it online himself? Still
- 37:49Speaker 3: a loser. Yeah. I don't know. I like all the
- 37:52Speaker 3: smack talk in sports. In good spirit. Not when people
- 37:55Speaker 3: start actually throwing fists and things.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Sure.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Throwing things at players who are coming in through the
- 38:00Speaker 3: tunnel or something. Nothing like that.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Be interesting about it.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Be creative. I love a good you suck.
- 38:05Speaker 4: But you're 10, 15 minutes after the game to your
- 38:07Speaker 4: own player and you effing suck. You're waiting around as
- 38:10Speaker 4: a grown man who's older than Baker. My rule of
- 38:13Speaker 4: thumb is once you're older than the person you're yelling at,
- 38:16Speaker 4: you're a loser. What about if he's helping?
- 38:18Speaker 3: That's what it sounded like.
- 38:19Speaker 4: It's reverse psychology. Hey, Coach Bowles, that's not good enough.
- 38:22Speaker 3: He's motivating.
- 38:23Speaker 4: You had to hear that. You had to know that
- 38:25Speaker 4: from me, the loser in the stands.
- 38:28Speaker 9: Now he's in their heads. What a goddamn loser.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Again, I'm not defending people who end up fighting with
- 38:33Speaker 3: other fans in the stands, but just some good, healthy
- 38:36Speaker 3: smack talk. That's fun.
- 38:37Speaker 4: This is 10, 15 minutes after the game. You're telling
- 38:40Speaker 4: a quarterback, hey, you effing suck.
- 38:41Speaker 3: And it's his team.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Way to go.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Proved a point. Oh, it's not his team. Oh, I
- 38:46Speaker 3: thought he was pissed at me.
- 38:47Speaker 4: No, no, I misspoke.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Gina is correct. Gina is correct. Thank you.
- 38:52Speaker 3: This Week in Audio. All right. Why are they cheering?
- 38:54Speaker 3: I mean, Baker Mayfield used to be the quarterback of
- 38:56Speaker 3: the Browns. This is all correct. He is no longer. Yeah,
- 38:58Speaker 3: that's what Gina was getting. Is that what you were saying?
- 39:03Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:04Speaker 4: You're going to tell by this cheer. This is a
- 39:06Speaker 4: much happier NFL fan clip. They're cheering about something. And
- 39:12Speaker 4: guests in the room, why are they cheering?
- 39:19Speaker 1: Okay, so Eagles fans.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Eagles fans, you know the other day.
- 39:30Speaker 4: They were in Nashville over the weekend.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Eagles fans in Nashville.
- 39:33Speaker 7: It sounds like a tailgate of some kind.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Something happened there.
- 39:36Speaker 7: Yeah, there's somebody doing something in the middle that they're
- 39:39Speaker 7: excited about.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Yes, Menace, yes, yes, yes, yes. What could they be doing?
- 39:43Speaker 3: You heard that? I mean, that's good detective work.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Well, I've been in those tailgate settings many times.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, man, it's been this. How about, like, doing, like,
- 39:51Speaker 4: a beer bong or something, maybe?
- 39:52Speaker 3: Okay, that's smart.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Yeah, like a keg stand.
- 39:54Speaker 9: I was thinking keg stand or jumping off of something.
- 39:56Speaker 4: See, that would be the bills more than the eagles.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Is somebody getting naked?
- 40:00Speaker 4: Oh, they're going to soon, Gina. This is a live
- 40:03Speaker 4: engagement at the eagles' tailgate.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 40:07Speaker 4: Greg, I'll bathe her eye roll. And for bonus points,
- 40:10Speaker 4: guess the weight of both participants.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Combined or individually?
- 40:14Speaker 7: Either or, give me bonus points.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Um, it's kind of an eye roll.
- 40:19Speaker 4: They flew all the way to Nashville. Nashville.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Two hour flight. They love together. Yeah, let me think
- 40:24Speaker 3: about that.
- 40:24Speaker 4: They're on the riverfront there.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 9: It's kind of an, I guess it's an odd babe.
- 40:28Speaker 9: If she's equally as much of a fan as he is.
- 40:30Speaker 4: They're about the same size.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I'm okay with it. Yeah, it's kind of cool. That's
- 40:33Speaker 3: their thing. And Philly's one of those towns where football's religion.
- 40:36Speaker 9: Totally.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's an odd bait. And they found each other.
- 40:40Speaker 4: God bless. And they'll both be needing seatbelt extenders on
- 40:43Speaker 4: the way home.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Like if you're at a Jacksonville Jaguars game, you know
- 40:46Speaker 3: what I mean? When in Rome.
- 40:49Speaker 9: Yeah, they have common interests. Share the love of this.
- 40:53Speaker 4: You got a built-in crowd.
- 40:55Speaker 3: They found each other.
- 40:56Speaker 9: I'm assuming they're really, really, really fat, so at least they.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Found each other. Based on what Seba said. Yeah.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Right, right, right.
- 41:01Speaker 3: So that's nice. That's nice. Good for them.
- 41:03Speaker 4: My question, this is a legitimate question, is how do
- 41:05Speaker 4: people that fat have sex? Oh, my God.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I told Menace that I finally watched... 1,000-pound roommates. Oh, yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 3: It was the only thing on the hotel television when
- 41:16Speaker 3: we were at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. As I was
- 41:18Speaker 3: flipping around, I'm like, there's nothing else on.
- 41:20Speaker 4: It's available on HBO Max.
- 41:21Speaker 3: This is what Menace was talking about. Let me check
- 41:24Speaker 3: it out. And, man, this chick was huge, and she
- 41:25Speaker 3: was talking about... This woman... can't stand up on her own. Yeah.
- 41:30Speaker 3: She was going to physical therapy to get to the
- 41:34Speaker 3: point where she could stand. Wow.
- 41:36Speaker 6: Yeah, otherwise she's just like on a gurney.
- 41:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Wow.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Did you see it?
- 41:40Speaker 3: I watched it because you told me it was on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh,
- 41:42Speaker 3: so you saw the same episode. Yes.
- 41:45Speaker 8: Nice.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Yeah, so they hook her up to like a harness
- 41:48Speaker 3: and there's one of the physical therapists behind her like
- 41:50Speaker 3: pulling on a pulley, like a rope pulley to try
- 41:53Speaker 3: to help her stand up. And the goal was to
- 41:56Speaker 3: stand up on her own two feet for like five seconds.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Literally five seconds. And then that was it for the day.
- 42:03Speaker 3: That was the big goal for the day. And do
- 42:04Speaker 3: you remember where they took her to weigh her? I don't.
- 42:07Speaker 6: The equine center.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Anyway, so in the same episode, you can't even stand.
- 42:13Speaker 3: And she's like, when do you think I'll be able
- 42:15Speaker 3: to date and have sex? And it's like, how? And
- 42:20Speaker 3: it's not how, like, it's not how, who, there's somebody
- 42:23Speaker 3: for everybody. How logistically would that work? And my wife
- 42:26Speaker 3: is staring at the television. And she had the same,
- 42:28Speaker 3: she was like, how would you, I have, like, physically how?
- 42:34Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Like, how big, how big of a fella, like, you know,
- 42:38Speaker 3: size-wise would you have to be? I think you'd have to,
- 42:42Speaker 3: even as a man, I think you'd have to scissor.
- 42:46Speaker 9: Right.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Because that way the flaps move folds.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Back out of the way. There's a lot going on, man.
- 42:52Speaker 3: I'm like, this is the least of your concern, lady.
- 42:55Speaker 11: Yeah, almost like a gynecology stirrup situation, maybe?
- 42:58Speaker 3: You gotta hope the guy was fit.
- 43:02Speaker 4: It's love, man. Love will find a way.
- 43:04Speaker 3: You have 1,000 pound roommates. This chick's horny, too. It's
- 43:08Speaker 3: all she could talk about, right?
- 43:11Speaker 4: He talks about that and he's like, I can't date
- 43:13Speaker 4: a fat chick because I'm so huge and there's just
- 43:14Speaker 4: no way.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Woody, Woody, Woody Show. And we'll go right back over
- 43:21Speaker 3: to Seabass with more of the week in audio.
- 43:24Speaker 4: We've got a bit of audio from the BYU-Arizona game
- 43:27Speaker 4: that is gaining steam. This is announcers. They do those
- 43:32Speaker 4: little interviews where they talk to the team ahead of time, blah, blah, blah.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Get little fun facts they sprinkle in throughout their announcement
- 43:39Speaker 4: of the game. And this is one of them here.
- 43:42Speaker 3: But he told us that at the dinners, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 3: sometimes they just... They just take their clothes off. And
- 43:48Speaker 3: they walk around naked. Are you naked at your dinners, Connor,
- 43:51Speaker 3: with the family? Do I have to answer that? You
- 43:53Speaker 3: don't have to answer that.
- 43:55Speaker 4: That's talking about BYU quarterback.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Okay. That's not very BYU of them. Bear Bachmeier. Huh.
- 44:01Speaker 3: Apparently said that we... Just dudes out?
- 44:02Speaker 4: That's the only thing we got. We don't know more
- 44:04Speaker 4: at this point.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Okay. Whose dinners?
- 44:06Speaker 9: Got some follow-up questions.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Family dinners. That's what I'm saying. Like team dinners? Family dinners?
- 44:09Speaker 4: Family dinners, apparently.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Okay. There are people, I mean... where the house is
- 44:16Speaker 3: its own little nudist colony. People are very free with
- 44:21Speaker 3: being naked in front of each other or their kids.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I mean, at what point is it inappropriate for the
- 44:29Speaker 3: kid to be in the shower with a parent?
- 44:33Speaker 4: As soon as they'll remember it.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I was going to say, no older than three.
- 44:38Speaker 11: No, as soon as they start pointing things out.
- 44:41Speaker 3: You should stop. There are some kids who are very grabby.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Like one of our friends, their daughter, she loves boobs, Greg.
- 44:49Speaker 3: And so she'll just be standing there or whatever, and
- 44:52Speaker 3: she'll just grab a boob. Grab it. Wow. She's fascinated
- 44:55Speaker 3: with them. How old is she? She's seven. Oh, boy.
- 44:59Speaker 6: That's something.
- 45:00Speaker 3: So old enough to tell her different. Yeah, but she
- 45:02Speaker 3: just loves boobs, you know? Well, can you blame her? Yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 3: it's like, you know, it's like I've never been in
- 45:07Speaker 3: a real stickler situation about language per se but when
- 45:13Speaker 3: it's in you got to know the right situation right
- 45:15Speaker 3: you got to be careful you know that's that's my
- 45:18Speaker 3: thing like i'm not uptight about language i just want
- 45:20Speaker 3: to make sure it's not being used and you know
- 45:22Speaker 3: the wrong place the wrong time right yeah exactly yeah
- 45:27Speaker 3: um but yeah i don't know you want you want
- 45:29Speaker 3: to be careful like yeah you can grab mommy's boob
- 45:32Speaker 3: here at home Little girl. But, you know, when you
- 45:35Speaker 3: leave the house, don't go grabbing. Don't be Gregging people. Right.
- 45:38Speaker 3: As we've said, Greg loves boobs. I do. But when
- 45:41Speaker 3: he has one too many drinks, he starts groping. Those
- 45:46Speaker 3: days have gone. Yeah, well, I mean, we do have
- 45:48Speaker 3: that shock collar on you. Yeah, I'm way more behaved. Yeah.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Although we have women all the time who are like, oh,
- 45:54Speaker 3: I'm coming to your event. I'm hoping to get Greg'd. Yeah.
- 45:59Speaker 3: We'll see if that ever happens again. All right. This
- 46:02Speaker 3: week in audio.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Let's get Woody Horny. This guy, kind of a bum type.
- 46:06Speaker 4: In fact, exactly a bum type.
- 46:07Speaker 8: Boing.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Was at the Palo Alto Mall, and he wasn't leaving.
- 46:11Speaker 4: He's like, no, I'm staying here. And it's been kicked
- 46:14Speaker 4: him out again and again and again. And what's, let's see,
- 46:17Speaker 4: if you had a tool and you were a security guard,
- 46:19Speaker 4: what kind of tool would you use to get compliance
- 46:21Speaker 4: from a bum who wasn't leaving?
- 46:25Speaker 3: And you wanted to get real horny. See, I mean,
- 46:28Speaker 3: like a pepper spray would do the job. Close. That
- 46:33Speaker 3: would affect other people. Yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 4: And he can't see the leave at that point.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Right.
- 46:38Speaker 4: Yeah, clean it up.
- 46:39Speaker 3: But if we're talking about something, you know, real fun.
- 46:43Speaker 3: It would be like a taser.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Okay, well, we got some body cam here. Let's see
- 46:47Speaker 4: what happens.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Let's see what happens.
- 46:49Speaker 7: Sir?
- 46:50Speaker 2: Hey. Hey.
- 46:51Speaker 3: This is private property. They can ask you to leave.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Ask them.
- 46:54Speaker 7: We got the paperwork, dude.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Are you going to go?
- 46:57Speaker 4: No.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Dude, back up.
- 46:59Speaker 3: You're going to get tased, dude. Go ahead. You're going
- 47:02Speaker 3: to get tased. Get him. Do it. One at taser point.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
- 47:08Speaker 8: Yes.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Yes.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 47:12Speaker 4: We're right in front of New Orleans. He's down now.
- 47:14Speaker 3: He's down in front of New Orleans. Sean William Scott,
- 47:17Speaker 3: did you hear that?
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Did you hear when he got tased? Yeah. I swear
- 47:20Speaker 3: to God, Sean William Scott, who played Stifler in American Pie,
- 47:23Speaker 3: it sounds like he was there. Are you going to go?
- 47:27Speaker 5: No.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Dude, back up.
- 47:30Speaker 3: You're going to get tased, dude. Go ahead. You're going
- 47:32Speaker 3: to get tased.
- 47:33Speaker 9: Do it.
- 47:34Speaker 2: One at Taser Point.
- 47:39Speaker 3: I enhanced it a little bit for you.
- 47:43Speaker 4: He did the thing that's so great when people get tasted.
- 47:47Speaker 3: I don't think that's helped.
- 47:49Speaker 4: But he was the owner of the place.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Right, right, right. Exactly.
- 47:51Speaker 3: He had the paperwork.
- 47:54Speaker 4: If only there was a place we could throw these
- 47:55Speaker 4: people menace where they aren't doing this 15 and 20 times.
- 47:58Speaker 3: I know.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Weird. It always turns out these guys have been arrested
- 48:01Speaker 4: 50 times.
- 48:01Speaker 3: What did they say? Whatever percent of the crime is
- 48:04Speaker 3: committed by... whatever percent of the people right including.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Super disproportionate oh he was just no he's he's bumming
- 48:10Speaker 4: the place out this is a quality of life issue
- 48:12Speaker 4: you don't want your kids sitting on the bench with
- 48:14Speaker 4: this guy and and what do you get horny so
- 48:17Speaker 4: this week in audio this is something that i wish
- 48:19Speaker 4: more people did this is a a guy who might
- 48:22Speaker 4: be 60 years old but he wants to be the
- 48:24Speaker 4: next costco guy he wants to make funny noises and
- 48:27Speaker 4: silly faces and become internet famous So he's got his
- 48:31Speaker 4: wife and they're getting like shaved ice at some store.
- 48:34Speaker 4: And he puts on his cute voice and he's recording
- 48:36Speaker 4: it on the video. And this hero of a woman
- 48:38Speaker 4: in the background says... Would you just not goddamn do that?
- 48:42Speaker 3: What do you got, kid?
- 48:45Speaker 5: What do you got?
- 48:45Speaker 3: What do you got? Mango matcha!
- 48:49Speaker 2: God.
- 48:50Speaker 6: Is there anywhere I can stand that's not in your video?
- 48:54Speaker 3: You're not in my video. I'm shooting this way. It's backwards.
- 48:57Speaker 3: It's backwards. You're not in it. I don't know you.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Have a good day, Karen.
- 49:02Speaker 4: No, she's not the heroine.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Whoa, he turned quick.
- 49:06Speaker 4: She goes, Jesus effing Christ, is there anyone I can
- 49:08Speaker 4: stand where I'm not in your damn video?
- 49:10Speaker 3: And he's like, oh my God, wow.
- 49:12Speaker 4: Because you're acting like a child. You're trying to, again,
- 49:14Speaker 4: everyone thinks they're going to be the next Chewbacca mom
- 49:17Speaker 4: or Costco guys or whatever. And you heard oh, she's
- 49:20Speaker 4: got a mango match.
- 49:21Speaker 7: What's up, babe?
- 49:22Speaker 4: I said, shut up.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Hey, man, nothing wrong with an office job in a cubicle.
- 49:26Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 49:26Speaker 3: Make sure you have a steady paycheck. It's an honest living.
- 49:29Speaker 3: But it's mango matcha time.
- 49:30Speaker 4: And he does such a good Elmo.
- 49:32Speaker 3: That's really cool.
- 49:33Speaker 4: And again, he's at least 60 years old.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 49:36Speaker 4: F-ing loser.
- 49:36Speaker 3: But you know what? He decided he was going to pivot. Yeah.
- 49:40Speaker 3: This is going to be my late in life career pivot. Yeah.
- 49:43Speaker 3: I'm going to be the new whatever. Exactly.
- 49:47Speaker 4: I'm going to be the funny realtor, the cute.
- 49:50Speaker 7: Whatever.
- 49:51Speaker 4: No, you're not. You're not funny. You're not interesting. It's
- 49:54Speaker 4: fine to live a normal life.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Thank you for the short fuse. This week in audio.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Oh, speaking of people who get famous for no reason,
- 50:01Speaker 4: the girl in the red bikinis. Anyone in the room
- 50:03Speaker 4: familiar with her?
- 50:03Speaker 7: No.
- 50:04Speaker 4: She was in like a foam party slash DJ set.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Okay, man, I'm sure you've seen her.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 50:08Speaker 4: She's just in a red bikini. And then some guy
- 50:11Speaker 4: off camera sprays her with water, as you do at
- 50:13Speaker 4: those parties. And she kind of looks at him like.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Oh, you're naughty. No, no, no.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Makes a face. And her boobs are bouncing.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 3: And guess what?
- 50:21Speaker 4: Of course, she got super famous real fast. Got an OnlyFans.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Oh, she did?
- 50:26Speaker 8: Yep.
- 50:26Speaker 4: I didn't see that part. Well, that's the follow-up. We're
- 50:29Speaker 4: now hearing from the girl in the red bikini. She's
- 50:31Speaker 4: a French girl. Goes by Aora DJ. Here she is
- 50:35Speaker 4: reporting on her earnings.
- 50:36Speaker 13: I became a millionaire in just one week. Sophie Rain
- 50:40Speaker 13: got $ 100 million. But I got $ 1 million in one week.
- 50:46Speaker 13: So Americans love Frenchie. I'm a Frenchie. So I think
- 50:50Speaker 13: that I can fight.
- 50:53Speaker 12: Sophie, right?
- 50:54Speaker 13: I wait for you.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Life is difficult for pretty people.
- 50:57Speaker 4: I wish I was a hot chick.
- 50:59Speaker 3: And you know what?
- 51:00Speaker 7: And I give her props because she wasn't even trying
- 51:02Speaker 7: to do this. Somebody was recording her off to the side.
- 51:04Speaker 4: And that's why it was such an interesting video is
- 51:06Speaker 4: she was just in the moment, didn't know she's being videoed,
- 51:08Speaker 4: naturally being cute and playful. Not that hot, by the way.
- 51:11Speaker 3: I was wondering if anyone was going to say that.
- 51:13Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 51:14Speaker 3: The candiness comes out. I love it. No, I just
- 51:16Speaker 3: looked at it.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 51:17Speaker 3: She doesn't deserve her money.
- 51:19Speaker 4: I was opening the door for the cats.
- 51:21Speaker 3: To come in. Greg would be the best OnlyFans account
- 51:26Speaker 3: if he was a hot chick because he'd be willing
- 51:28Speaker 3: to do anything for the money.
- 51:29Speaker 6: True, but we kind of called you out on this
- 51:32Speaker 6: one time, Greg, because remember you said nobody would pay
- 51:34Speaker 6: for that and then we got a ton of texts
- 51:37Speaker 6: of people saying they would.
- 51:38Speaker 4: I don't have the.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Nerve to do it. I have the desire to do it.
- 51:41Speaker 9: If I was a hot chick, I would because I
- 51:43Speaker 9: always have contended that Boobs are boobs.
- 51:46Speaker 3: They're kind of all the same. But what if it
- 51:48Speaker 3: was like, you know, vag stuff and everything else you
- 51:50Speaker 3: have to do on OnlyFans would be fine? Oh my God,
- 51:53Speaker 3: it would be so easy.
- 51:54Speaker 4: Sit on this table, Greg.
- 51:55Speaker 3: But what's the difference? And this is where the compliment.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Are you going to put this table leg in your
- 51:58Speaker 3: back door?
- 51:58Speaker 1: Sure.
- 51:59Speaker 6: What's between a hot chick and a hot guy?
- 52:02Speaker 9: Well, I mean, there's more variation in dudes.
- 52:04Speaker 4: Supply and demand is the difference.
- 52:05Speaker 3: And supply and demand, exactly. Well, no, he's saying from... Like,
- 52:08Speaker 3: not supply and demand. That's obvious, but.
- 52:10Speaker 9: Like, anatomically. Like, if you and Sammy were both naked
- 52:14Speaker 9: and you saw each other and you were... Oh, and
- 52:16Speaker 9: you covered your boobs. What's the mystery?
- 52:18Speaker 3: Like... We know what boobs look like. But can you
- 52:20Speaker 3: say what a penis looks like? We know what dongs
- 52:21Speaker 3: look like.
- 52:21Speaker 9: There's so many different ones, though, you know?
- 52:23Speaker 3: But, I mean, boobs are different sizes. Sure.
- 52:26Speaker 4: Different shapes, kind of.
- 52:27Speaker 3: Nipples are weird sometimes.
- 52:29Speaker 6: Nipples are weird.
- 52:29Speaker 3: You know, I used to be about weird nipples.
- 52:31Speaker 9: But listen to this girl. She's the motivation. One week,
- 52:35Speaker 9: and she's now a millionaire.
- 52:36Speaker 13: One week.
- 52:36Speaker 4: It is something.
- 52:38Speaker 3: And you didn't even try.
- 52:39Speaker 8: Right.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 52:41Speaker 7: Yeah, you weren't on social media trying to make out.
- 52:43Speaker 9: Did you find her, Gina? Because when I Googled girl
- 52:46Speaker 9: in red bikini, there's a trillion.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Aura DJ. With foam or spray. She's cute. She's cute
- 52:52Speaker 3: by all means.
- 52:52Speaker 4: I'm happy to date her if I was of the
- 52:54Speaker 4: right age.
- 52:56Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY. Text.
- 52:56Speaker 3: She kind of looks like Giada. Over to 22987. This
- 53:00Speaker 3: week in audio.
- 53:01Speaker 4: Other people making a billion dollars online, and I don't
- 53:04Speaker 4: know how. And we have a connection to this guy, Blueface.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Rapper. Madison knows who he is.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Morgan knows who he is because the fight that Morgan
- 53:13Speaker 4: fought at was with his ex-girlfriend or baby mama fighting people. Sure.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 4: He's making, he's showing, people are like, Blue, you're not
- 53:19Speaker 4: making any money. He's streaming on Kick, which is just
- 53:21Speaker 4: a live stream program where I don't know what happens there.
- 53:24Speaker 4: And he's showing his earnings and it's like $ 167, 000 a week.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 4: Because they do.
- 53:29Speaker 7: The most rev share. I think it's like, the creator
- 53:32Speaker 7: gets like 80%.
- 53:33Speaker 4: Right, and it shows like, well, you've got 8,000 subscribers
- 53:35Speaker 4: and so many so gifted subscribers and it breaks it
- 53:38Speaker 4: down how he's making this money.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 4: And here he is telling like, people are like, hey,
- 53:42Speaker 4: you're just doing this because you bring hot chicks on
- 53:43Speaker 4: your stream. And Blueface says, nah, it's all me.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Hey, check this out. I'm still your kid.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Anybody saying that I'm losing it?
- 53:51Speaker 3: Any bitch for content. Look, this is the most money
- 53:56Speaker 3: I make. Wow.
- 53:57Speaker 4: And by the way, he sounds like he's legally illiterate.
- 54:01Speaker 3: He can't really talk.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Well, it sounds like he's reading the screen. Again, it's
- 54:06Speaker 4: menace-level stuff. But I get it, Bruin.
- 54:09Speaker 3: If you're not sure you're getting the words right, you
- 54:11Speaker 3: know how people, if they're not sure about what they're saying,
- 54:13Speaker 3: they kind of... Oh, absolutely. Talk slowly.
- 54:16Speaker 4: I always talk about, like, I'd say people are using
- 54:18Speaker 4: bitch for content.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Any bitch for content. Look, this is the most money
- 54:22Speaker 3: I made off kick without losing one singular bitch.
- 54:27Speaker 13: I'm a dead homegirl.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Shut the fuck up. I'm a dead homegirl. Tell them
- 54:31Speaker 3: to me. I'm a dead homegirl. Yeah.
- 54:34Speaker 4: On the dead number.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Yeah. About one single pitch.
- 54:37Speaker 4: I guess I don't know enough 15-year-old boys, but who's
- 54:39Speaker 4: watching this crap?
- 54:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and who's paying? I don't understand that.
- 54:42Speaker 4: These subscribers cost whatever, eight bucks a month, ten bucks
- 54:44Speaker 4: a month.
- 54:44Speaker 3: You guys want to hear a fun fact from the 949? Yes.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Passing over to 22987. Did you know that penis size
- 54:50Speaker 3: is dictated by the X chromosome, which means that you
- 54:52Speaker 3: get your penis size from your mom?
- 54:54Speaker 11: What?
- 54:55Speaker 7: Interesting.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, your mom decided. Yeah, what about boobs?
- 54:59Speaker 4: Your mom decided.
- 55:00Speaker 3: What if boobs came from your dad?
- 55:01Speaker 4: But it's like, Mom, do better.
- 55:02Speaker 3: The Woody Show. And let's put the final touches on
- 55:08Speaker 3: the week in audio.
- 55:09Speaker 4: In these days of flashy Instagram accounts, it is refreshing
- 55:13Speaker 4: to hear what you're about to hear from a multi-multi-millionaire,
- 55:18Speaker 4: Tyrese Halliburton. You know him from the song.
- 55:22Speaker 3: What the hell-y? There you go.
- 55:23Speaker 4: Thank you, Gina. For the street cred.
- 55:26Speaker 3: What the hell-y, Burton?
- 55:27Speaker 4: He's on this podcast, Boardroom Talks, about business and finance stuff.
- 55:31Speaker 4: Tyrese Halliburton, as you're about to hear, has a giant contract,
- 55:34Speaker 4: but he still does this. Five-year, $ 244 million. You went
- 55:39Speaker 4: to WrestleMania.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Coach on Southwest. Oh.
- 55:45Speaker 4: First of all, I said exit row.
- 55:47Speaker 3: People don't understand, bro.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Flying private is a little ridiculous.
- 55:51Speaker 3: But I see dudes fly private who I know I
- 55:53Speaker 3: make a lot more money than. I can't do that
- 55:56Speaker 3: every time.
- 55:56Speaker 4: That makes me sick.
- 55:58Speaker 3: Good for him. Keeping it real. I forget who else
- 56:01Speaker 3: was saying that. Was it like T-Pain? Oh, yeah.
- 56:04Speaker 6: He's like, first of all, it was an exit row.
- 56:07Speaker 3: So get your facts straight. He's 6'8, or whatever. That
- 56:10Speaker 3: makes sense. That used to be the thing, man. You
- 56:12Speaker 3: would go to the airport. Don't buy it ahead of time,
- 56:14Speaker 3: but go to the airport and buy the upgrade to
- 56:17Speaker 3: the 1 through 15 in the A group. And then
- 56:19Speaker 3: you would get on there. And sometimes there were people
- 56:22Speaker 3: on there from the connecting flight or the previous flight.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Like, oh.
- 56:25Speaker 3: But you could still get an exit row typically. Because
- 56:28Speaker 3: they don't let the pre-boarders take those exit row seats.
- 56:31Speaker 3: The pre-boarders can't go in those. Because they know what
- 56:32Speaker 3: you're up to pre-boarders. But now that Southwest has the
- 56:38Speaker 3: extra legroom seats, those are nice. Those are almost as
- 56:41Speaker 3: good as the exit row seats. They're really, I mean,
- 56:44Speaker 3: they're very spacious. They're not super wide, but I'm fat.
- 56:48Speaker 3: But for leg space, but for leg space, they're good.
- 56:51Speaker 3: But it's this.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Weird thing that like, if you and, if Greg, whatever,
- 56:54Speaker 4: was bragging about his first class, oh, whatever, you loser,
- 56:57Speaker 4: you're out of touch. But for some reason, athletes, and
- 57:00Speaker 4: like you said, T-Pain, music artists, They're expected to, and
- 57:03Speaker 4: they are ashamed when they don't do the flashy stuff.
- 57:06Speaker 3: You look like a brokie.
- 57:07Speaker 4: There's this weird double standard that we just throw on people.
- 57:11Speaker 3: For no reason.
- 57:12Speaker 7: Ludacris came from radio, so we kind of have mutual friends.
- 57:16Speaker 7: And when he first got his plane, his private plane,
- 57:19Speaker 7: everyone's asking to use it. He's like, you can use
- 57:21Speaker 7: it whenever you want. Just pay for the gas.
- 57:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:23Speaker 4: I hope you got 10 grand. What do.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You got?
- 57:27Speaker 3: This week in audio. Up next.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Okay, quick game.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Is this.
- 57:31Speaker 4: A scared little woman being a bitch or Greg Gorey?
- 57:35Speaker 4: This is, okay. So I'll give you the setup. This
- 57:37Speaker 4: is a woman.
- 57:37Speaker 3: We got body cam here. Is it a woman or
- 57:39Speaker 3: is it Greg Gorey being a scared little bitch?
- 57:41Speaker 4: Good call, good call. See, that's why we workshop things.
- 57:44Speaker 4: Is this a woman or Greg Gorey?
- 57:45Speaker 3: So this is a woman.
- 57:46Speaker 4: She's at a traffic stop and something, it's Florida. Some
- 57:50Speaker 4: random crap happens. A frog just like falls out of
- 57:52Speaker 4: a tree.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 57:52Speaker 4: All right, so let's see what happens.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Hi there. Oh, my God.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 57:57Speaker 7: There's a frog.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 57:58Speaker 4: They don't want me.
- 58:00Speaker 9: It's in your seat.
- 58:00Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 58:02Speaker 3: You can take your seatbelt off and come on out. No,
- 58:06Speaker 3: it's in the seat.
- 58:09Speaker 2: There it is over there.
- 58:11Speaker 3: This is what I don't get. Ladybugs. Greg, what is
- 58:15Speaker 3: a ladybug going to do?
- 58:16Speaker 9: It's not that they're going to do anything. It's the
- 58:19Speaker 9: feeling they invoke inside of you.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Frogs don't even have any teeth.
- 58:23Speaker 9: It's not that you're afraid of physical pain. It's that
- 58:26Speaker 9: you're grossed out by it.
- 58:27Speaker 3: This sound sounds like fear.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 58:31Speaker 4: I hear it from Greg all the time.
- 58:32Speaker 3: It's not gross. Gross is like menace when he sees
- 58:34Speaker 3: a tomato.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 58:38Speaker 3: This sounds like fear. Oh, my God. There's a frog.
- 58:42Speaker 9: I have injured myself getting away from Buzz.
- 58:44Speaker 4: Oh, we know.
- 58:45Speaker 3: I get the surprise.
- 58:45Speaker 4: Something fell on you. But she knows it's a frog.
- 58:48Speaker 4: She sees it's a frog.
- 58:49Speaker 3: Frogs are gross.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:51Speaker 3: You're super gross.
- 58:53Speaker 6: And that's another one.
- 58:54Speaker 9: You know that when you eat lamb, there's no fur
- 58:57Speaker 9: on it.
- 58:57Speaker 3: No, I know that. Mentally, it affects you. Yeah, but
- 58:59Speaker 3: I don't see, like, lamb's not on the menu, and
- 59:01Speaker 3: I go, oh, my God! And I jump to the
- 59:04Speaker 3: other side of the table.
- 59:05Speaker 4: If CBS walks in behind you, like, does he play
- 59:07Speaker 4: with him yeah i was like uh you know i don't.
- 59:09Speaker 9: Know why it's confusing to you it's gross it's gross and.
- 59:12Speaker 4: It's scary it gets in the heebie-jeebies and you can
- 59:15Speaker 4: also tell that that wasn't greg in that clip because
- 59:16Speaker 4: he wasn't uh cursing at the cop just.
- 59:18Speaker 3: For oh exactly exactly which i'll get you in the
- 59:21Speaker 3: second pig yeah i.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Keep getting all these videos on my instagram of snails
- 59:26Speaker 6: eating lettuce and it's so cute and Greg won't even.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Look at it. I can't even look. Snails eating lettuce?
- 59:30Speaker 3: It's so cute. That's your algorithm?
- 59:32Speaker 7: Yes.
- 59:32Speaker 3: We can fix that. Be on the lookout for some texts.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 59:36Speaker 3: More of what he shows next. Hang on. He bit it.
- 59:38Speaker 3: I think it squirted. It exploded in my mouth. I'm
- 59:48Speaker 3: very excited about this guest, and this guest is not
- 59:51Speaker 3: in the studio with us. They are on the phone.
- 59:54Speaker 3: But I mean, look, we all do the scrolling thing, right?
- 59:57Speaker 3: And I have built my algorithm, as they say, brick
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: by brick. And I know a lot of people have
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: been seeing the same dude pop up. It's the guy,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands, who's going to the different Chinese-Asian buffets
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: until he gets food poisoning. I love the look, the delivery,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: the bravery, all of it. The tone. On Instagram at
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: mullet underscore review, but mullet review, you know, TikTok, YouTube,
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: all those places. And we have the man himself on
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: the phone. His name is Brandon. Brandon. Brandon, the mullet
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: review guy.
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: Hey.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: What's up, dude? How are you? I'm doing good. How
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: are you feeling? Are you good right now? Yeah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: No, I'm just sitting in my car.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Yeah, there's no reason to be good right now.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not good in any.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I'm more excited to talk to you
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: than if we had the biggest rock star or A-list
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: movie star right now. I love your videos. I'm intrigued.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: I want to know how did this start? Was it
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: like a one-off thing and it just kind of took
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: off or did you kind of set out to do
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: this and do a whole series of these?
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: The first one was a joke, right? I'm going to
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: do this until I get food poisoning and then I
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: walked in there.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, wow.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: I might die.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Now, is there any, just every Chinese buffet you're fine with?
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: Or do you like, do you set out to find
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: the ones that have the two and a half stars?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: You know, to be honest with you, every time I
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: check any of the like reviews, like with the stars,
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: I really don't trust any of them. To be honest
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: with you. I just go to any, any single one
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: of them. I mean, it could be, five star or
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: one star. I mean, I've been the one that had
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: the lowest I've been to. And I was like, Oh,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: this is just average.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: You eat, you actually eat all this stuff. It's not
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: like how you watch like some of these home improvement shows,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: the guys who are on the show, they're there for
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: like five minutes to do whatever. None of the real work.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Like you're actually eating these things.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's actually, like, yeah, there's no, like,
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: movie magic or anything.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: I'm actually.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: But I have noticed, and I get it, because you
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: have to pace yourself, you don't pile high. You do
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: kind of take, like, a dainty proportion.
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I try to get, like, bites of, like, everything
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: I can, but that's just because, like... At the same time,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: I'm not trying to waste food or anything.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: No, I get it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: I appreciate that. All right, if you're just joining us,
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: we're talking to Brandon. Brandon is the Mullet Review guy.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: He is going everywhere, stopping at every Chinese buffet he
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: can until he gets food poisoning. I'm sure you've seen
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: the videos. I see them on Instagram, at Mullet underscore review.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: Another question for you. Is this your full-time thing for
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: right now, or are you maintaining a regular job while
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: you're doing this?
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I was a mailman. I kind of, like, stepped back
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: from being a mailman to do this.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: So when you go into, like, the post, what do
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: you go to, the postmaster general? And you got to
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: tell him, like, hey, man, I need to go on
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: hiatus or something? Yeah, a sabbatical. What is that conversation?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I just quit. There was no explaining that. I mean,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: I was, like, in a fatal. Sorry, man.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so, like, are you scared of the day that
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: you get actually sick? And, like, do you have a plan?
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Lots of water, man. Lots of water.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Stay hydrated. I mean, now you don't have that postal job. Like,
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: you probably don't have the benefits. So if you end
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: up in the hospital, that could end up being pretty pricey.
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: How far have you traveled to go to a buffet?
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: Because I'm thinking of my hometown in particular. We only
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: have one Chinese buffet. So do you have to just
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: keep looking for them?
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Oh, he crosses state lines.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: I've been traveling pretty much. I mean, I'm trying to
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: get as far out as possible. Here in Cincinnati, we got, like,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: I want to say like 15.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Damn. So, I mean, because I was a 1 million
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: on TikTok. And then it's, I mean, hundreds of thousands
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: on Instagram.
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: Have you ever thought of traveling overseas and trying American
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: buffets over there?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Somebody said the season finale should be me going to
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: China to do a buffet over there.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: Dude, it's good over there, man.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: But that is a question I have. When you go
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: to a buffet, a Chinese buffet, you get super pissed
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: if there's no pizza.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: What's the correlation there?
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Every buffet here in Cincinnati has pizza.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: No matter what the culture is, what the cuisine is.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Every Chinese buffet has got pizza down here.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: So Crab Rangoon seems to be like the major part
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: of the Mullet Review universe. Like what makes a perfect,
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: you are now the authority on Crab Rangoon, but like
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: what makes a perfect Crab Rangoon?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Um, there's, like, two kinds. Like, they got, like, an onion-y, like,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: savory kind that I kind of like. And then they got, like,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: a really sweet kind. Those are really good. But, like,
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: I'm not looking for anything, like, crazy. I think a
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: lot of people think I'm, like, picky or something. In reality,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I'm not, like, a picky eater at all. Like, I'm just.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: I can tell.
- 1:05:04Speaker 13: Yeah, we know.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Dude, the minute you ate one of those mussels with
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: the mayonnaise on it... And, Greg, I mean, you said, like,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: you're an adventurous eater, but you can't even believe the
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: stuff that Brandon's eating at these Asian buffets.
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: Yeah, the most recent one I saw, you were eating something,
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: I believe it was called coconut chicken, and it looked
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: like strips of raw chicken sitting in milk, and you
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: ate it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I thought it was chicken and dumplings. Yeah, it was.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Like soup almost. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What would you say
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: is the best item and the worst item that you've
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: tried so far in your adventures going to all these
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: different buffets?
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: You know, the coolest one was in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: They have something called Triple Delight, and it's kind of
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: like chicken, shrimp, and... Kind of. I think it was like...
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: crab or beef or something but man that was so
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: good I've never had it anywhere else like similar to
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: that okay that was the one I gave five stars
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: even though they didn't have pizza.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: That's what you wanted an Asian buffet.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Yeah no I mean like for me it was just
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: like wow this is why isn't everybody doing this.
- 1:06:09Speaker 9: Yeah right right Brandon like a hundred years wait wait
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: hold on we didn't get the worst item oh that's
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: right yeah we got the best item was the triple.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Delight the worst the single worst item I.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Don't know why they keep putting these clams out.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: With the mayonnaise. Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: I mean, between that and the raw chicken.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: That's like....
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: There's just, like, if I had to describe eating that, like,
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: clam thing, it's like, imagine if I put, like, a
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: big spoonful of mayonnaise in your mouth, and then in
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: the middle of it's, like, some chewy... piece of meat yeah.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: Like ocean ocean that's weird greg you love mayonnaise i
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: do love mayo as do you yeah but i don't
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: know if i'd like it on a clam you must
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: have the immune system of a superhero at.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: This point you know the crazy part i love mayonnaise
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: i just can't stand that yeah.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: That combo yeah it's not supposed to go together i
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: mean i've never seen like until your video dude i
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: don't think i've ever seen.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: That yeah hot mayonnaise All right, if you're just.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Joining us, we're talking to Brandon. Brandon is the Mullet
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Review guy. He is going everywhere, stopping at every Chinese
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: buffet he can until he gets food poisoning. I'm sure
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: you've seen the videos. I see them on Instagram, at
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Mullet underscore review. I'm interested in the feedback that you've gotten.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: Have you gotten any feedback from one of these businesses,
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: one of these buffets you've gone to, positive or negative?
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: I'm sure some... have seen a big boost in people
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: coming in and checking it out. I'm sure others might
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: have been like a little pissed. Like maybe the place
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: with all the flies.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: So the one in Knoxville that I gave five stars to,
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: they put my name on their chalkboard thing when you
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: walk in.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Oh, nice. That's cool.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: That was pretty cool.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: You were right.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I had one in Indiana. recently say oh we
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: got a good meatloaf i was like okay i mean
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: they didn't have like a perfect story or anything i
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: was like yeah i mean i don't even like meatloaf
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: I mean brandon this is a this is a great
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: thing you got going on man this uh this chinese
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: buffet review thing that you got going is huge i
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: think it's hilarious continued success to you are you any
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: plans to you know maybe have some kind of merch
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: like we're gooning boys t-shirts or things like that.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm working on that now, actually. I'm probably trying
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: to host a lookalike contest here soon.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Oh, nice. That's a good idea.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: We're going to have a whole bunch of people here
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: dressed up like me. I don't think it'd be good
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: for Halloween. So we'll see what goes on.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: I guarantee that's going to be a big Halloween costume
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: this year. Well, Brandon, the mullet review guy in his
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: quest to visit every Chinese buffet until he gets food poisoning.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: I mean, I'm just a fan, man. I like the
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: I like the the channel. I love the videos. You
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: got a great thing going. I think it's great when
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: people just organically and by accident kind of find... and
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: hit on something like this. So I'm super, even though
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: we've never met in person, I'm super happy for you.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: On TikTok, at MullyReview. On YouTube, Greg, it's at MulletReview69.
- 1:09:17Speaker 13: Nice.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: And on Instagram, at Mullet underscore review. It's Brandon, everybody.
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: I feel it, man. I know it's coming soon. You'll
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: get that food poisoning you've been after.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Thank you. Thank you for joining us. Hey, before we
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: let you go, can we get a good, like, we're
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: gooning now, boys.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: We're gooning now, boys.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: Brandon, thank you so much for joining us, man. Thrilled
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: to have you on.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Thanks, man. I appreciate you. Thanks, dude. I'm telling you,
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: I got so geeked up. Dude, he's the best. Jeff
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: hit me up, says, hey, man, because I sent to Jeff.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: I said, hey, see if we can get.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: This dude on.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: I love this guy. I can't get enough of these videos.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Same.
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: And we've seen like a hundred of them. So I
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: feel like we know him.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: And then Jeff says, guess who we're talking to tomorrow?
- 1:10:02Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: My hell yeah.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Very, very, very nice and polite dude.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Super cool guy.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: Interactions have been awesome.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: And he does charity stuff. He's a cool guy. And
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: I never knew his name. Yeah, me either. Brandon, the
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: mullet review guy. Strong enough for a man, made for
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: a woman. Menace. Menace. Menace has been a supporter of
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: using women's deodorant as long as I've known him. He
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: uses women's deodorant.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Why? It feels better on my skin.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: You see?
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: Yeah, like men's deodorant.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: Is like sticky.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: The Woody Show. We've all had to have simple things
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: explained to us.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: Right, Greg?
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: Many times. Like maybe twice?
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: Maybe three. I feel like maybe in this room, Greg
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: and I probably lead the pack in that department.
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: Probably.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Of having to have simple things explained.
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: Especially recently, I feel like I'm learning a lot more
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: because I'm realizing there's so much I don't understand.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Well, yeah. You know? About bigger things or more simple things?
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Kind of bigger things.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Like legal things. People were asked, what's something you had
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: to explain to another adult? Some of the answers are
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: pretty funny. Something I had to explain to an adult. Yeah,
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: or like another adult had to explain to you, which
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: is what we get all the time. Yeah, that's true.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: I was trying to explain just the other day what
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: a meme is to my parents.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: It's very hard to articulate.
- 1:11:33Speaker 9: It's hard to say.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: I said it's a picture with a caption.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: But that's... That's more understandable. Yeah, that's not as simple.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Because it's a generational thing.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: One of the things that was on the list is
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: I had to explain to someone that Anne Frank wasn't
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: a fictional character. Oh, wow. You know? Oh, wow. So
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: don't feel bad. Oh, really? Right? Oh, my God. Yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Although I've always known that people pretend to know what
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: they're talking about. Like, and you go... With a simple
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: follow-up question, that's my favorite.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: You know I love a good awkward moment.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: Oh, sure.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: So especially if it's in a group of people, I'll go, oh, yeah?
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Tell me about that.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Yeah, tell me more.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: So what do you mean? I come from a very, like,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: curious position. Well, you know, it's like, have you seen
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: the interviews where they walk up to people on the
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: street and they're at, like, a rally for something? Whatever
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: the thing is, whatever the cause is.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: And they go, oh, really? Tell me more about whatever. Yes,
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: I love that. They're actually curious. protesting or campaigning for,
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: but they're there to support, and they can't speak to
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: it whatsoever. They're just there because that's where they're supposed
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: to be. It's that same kind of thing. Oh, yeah, okay,
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: so I've never really understood that. Can you explain that
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: to me? Because I don't have a real good grasp
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: on it.
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: There's a classic example of that, I think it was
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: from Kimmel, where they were at some really high-end gym
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: or something, and they're.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Like, are you gluten-free? Oh, yes, I'm gluten-free. What's gluten? Yeah,
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: what exactly? Now, also, when I'm following up With a
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: question like that, it's because, like, I don't know this.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: I don't really feel like most people understand what this is.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: So while I am actually curious, it's also to go like, dude,
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: you don't know what you're talking about either. Stop it.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: Neither of us know.
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: There's a famous clip online of Woody Allen trying to do.
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: That to somebody.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Oh, Twiggy.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: This model. And he's like, tell me.
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: About your favorite scholars. And she's like, well, he goes,
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: list them for me. And then she's like, oh, well,
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: I don't really have any. She goes, you tell me
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: your favorite scholars. And then he couldn't come up with any.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Yeah, she turned it around. Who are your favorite philosophers?
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: Yeah, tell me, you know, what do they say?
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: And he seems like one of those guys who would
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: be one of those kind of smug douchebags. Like, you know, intellectual. 100%.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: So got uno'd on that.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: Like, if you don't know something, just say you don't
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: know it. I don't know where the embarrassment is.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: If you don't know what two plus two is, all right.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: I mean, you could be embarrassed, but you can also say, like,
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: Use your fingers.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. All right. So people were asked, what's something
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: you had to explain to another adult? This one says,
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: I walked into the break room just in time to
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: stop a co-worker from cooking a can of corn in
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: the microwave.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: A can?
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: A can.
- 1:14:16Speaker 15: Oh, man.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: I've seen people, I mean, mostly younger people who don't necessarily, kids,
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: you know, don't know. Like, you can't put the fork,
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: the fork's on the plate. You can't put the fork
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: in there with the plate. Yeah, I mean, someone does
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: need to tell you the first time. You can't put
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: that plate covered in tinfoil and don't do that.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: That's bad.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Can't they make, here's a dumb question, can't they make
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: microwaves that would be cool with having foil in them?
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: That's a good question. I don't think so. I don't
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: think that's what it says.
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: They're inherently at odds.
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, it's an oven, essentially.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: There's no way to engineer that. But you can put
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: tinfoil in the oven. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: What would be the purpose of doing that, though?
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: What?
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: To put the tinfoil in there.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Well, because there's some things like you get a to-go
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: container sometimes where they have the clear plastic top, but
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: it's the bottom part is that foiled tray dish.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: My classic example of ruining our microwave when I was
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: a child was, I think it was Wendy's. Is it
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: with the papers on one side and the foils on
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: the other? I didn't know.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: Nobody told me.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: But then it would throw you off because you get
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: like a hot pocket and they give you that sleeve,
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: that cardboard sleeve that had the silver on the inside.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: The crispinator or whatever. Yeah, so even though that was
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: made to go in the microwave because it's not, you know, metal, but...
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: It's just reflective.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: It looks metal-y.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: It looks metal-y. Yes, you're like, I don't know if
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: I should put this in there. So could they engineer
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: that seed mask? Could they come up with some kind
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: of microwave? Like a crisper.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: Well, they already have, because what is the inside of
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: your microwave made of?
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Metal.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: Exactly, but it doesn't have, but it's very smooth and
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: rounded in all areas, and that's what That's what the sparks,
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: and you don't ruin your microwave necessarily.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, because we put like big balls of, just to
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: see what would happen. You did. We did it for
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: a brief amount of time. We do microwave Mondays. And
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: so I bought a couple of like the cheapest microwaves
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: that I could find from like a Walmart. And we
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: would put different things in there. We put like a
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: big ball of aluminum foil in there.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: And we put like a cup of nails or something.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: I forget what we did. Oh my God. And that's
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: what it is.
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: There's a thousand explainers you can find about this.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Just to see what would happen. Because you're like, oh,
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: you're not supposed to do that. But we did it
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: just to see what would happen.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: Any kind of edge or point, because the microwaves don't
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: get absorbed by the metal, that edge or that point
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: provides a place for the electrons to concentrate. And you
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: get little arcs or the.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Sparking, essentially. It did spark a lot. Yeah. And then
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: after the microwave was ruined- Well, that's after we let
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: it go for a long time. But then after, we
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: tied it to our boss's car and let him drive away.
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: That was my favorite part. Oh, yeah, we didn't tell him. Yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Mike the show killer. We tied it to the back
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: bumper of his 4Runner.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: He just got married.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Right. And all of a sudden, he started driving away. Clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Did it pull his bumper off? Obviously, we couldn't do
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: it here at the radio station or in the garage
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: of the radio station because we knew we'd get in
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: trouble for that. We just took it to somebody's house.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: And we did it in their backyard. But then when
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: we were done, while we distracted the show killer, we
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: tied the microwave to the back of his 4Runner.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: My car's making noise.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: All right. So what's something you had to explain to
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: another adult? This one says, I had to explain to
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: a grown human who went to college for nursing what
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: a semicircle was. What? I had to literally tell her
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: that it was half a circle.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Wow. Oh, wow.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: I was just about to say.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: You didn't know what a semicircle was?
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: I always heard that term semicircle of life.
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: Have you ever heard that?
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: I've heard circle of life.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Circle of life.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: Circle of life.
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: You never heard semicircle of life?
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: No. What would a semicircle of life be?
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: I don't know. Are you thinking of a song called
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Semi-Chart Life?
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: Is it just a circle of life? Maybe you're headed
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: one way in your life. Like you're going down the
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: wrong path. And you do a semicircle of life and
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: you start going back the other way and you turn
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: your life around.
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: Maybe, I don't know.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: That's the semicircle of life.
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Maybe it was a joke. I think on all of
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: these we need to like not explain them and let
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: Sammy and Menace explain.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: This one says, I was working at a bike store
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: with an older lady who came in to return a
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: roll of reflective tape. She said it didn't work because
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: she took the tape into her dark closet and couldn't
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: see anything.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Oh, it's not glow-in-the-dark. Yeah, I mean, that's not that bad, actually.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: But what does she think is reflecting off of? Right,
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: if it's in a dark closet, there's no source of light.
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: What do you think you're going to see? Yeah, there's
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: nothing to reflect. This one says, my niece didn't know
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: that pickles were made from cucumbers. She thought there was
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: a pickle tree or a pickle bush somewhere.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Surprisingly common.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: What's something you had to explain to another adult? I
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: had to explain to my cousin's husband that thunder does
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: not come from two clouds crashing into each other. Oh, wow.
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: I speak cloud.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: I'll give you one more. I had to explain to
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: my friend that no, salmonellas is not Spanish for salmon.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: Salmonella is not Spanish for salmon.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: It sounds like it could be.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: On this show, if it's being discussed, much like it's
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: not a pronunciation, it's a burnunciation or a burdiction.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: It is not salmonella. It is salmonellas. Yeah. Salmonellas. Salmonellas.
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: The circle of life thing reminded me that we had
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: that coworker.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: Who- The semicircle of life? The semicircle of life. Google it.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Don't make me do a 360. You mean a 180?
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: Come back where you were? Yeah. Go back right where
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: you were. Well, it's like people like, you know, I
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: could care less. Yeah. I'm guilty of that.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: You can see. So you like it? Circle of life.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: You really have heard that, man.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I have. It's a very obscure biblical thing.
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: Let's see. But not really.
- 1:19:46Speaker 9: Was that during all your Bible research?
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: I don't know. It's a playful or mistaken variation of
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: the famous saying, the circle of life.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: Yeah. So it's a playful or mistaken, in this case,
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: mistaken variation.
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: I didn't make it up.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: He was thinking of circle of life. It must be
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: you were thinking circle of life.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: I'm just saying that I've heard that saying. You have?
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: Semi-circle of life.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: Semi-circle of life.
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: Again, there's a preacher who talks about it, but it's
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: very obscure.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: Are you into Genesis 2.15? Maybe. Don't you have that tattoo?
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: It's not for everybody. Yeah.
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: Are you like me?
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: Probably.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: You have to try it on. You have to touch it.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Feel the fabric. You have to feel it. 9 for
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: 9 on the text saying, can I get an ah, babe?
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: Ah, babe.
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: Ah, babe.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Okay, easy. Ah, babe. Yeah. Menace later on today, 5

- 1:21:09Speaker 3: date is today.
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: The date is today, 5 to 7.
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: It's 5 to 7 p.m. this afternoon. It's today, Menace
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: at Living Spaces on Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga. Get
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: the details. There we go. Address, if you want to
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: punch in your GPS and more, just go to thewoodyshow.com.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: So creamy, so good.
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: Hearing the word custard makes my mouth water.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: What?
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: Sounds like a wild weekend.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: You're outside, outside. The Woody Show. All right, well, Sammy's
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: got an update for us, you guys. We helped. We did?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:21:45Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: That's good to hear.
- 1:21:46Speaker 11: Yes, my iPhone that I got. Remember, I got a
- 1:21:49Speaker 11: new phone and I couldn't.
- 1:21:50Speaker 10: Transfer it over because I had too much storage. Yeah,
- 1:21:53Speaker 10: there wasn't any storage left. So Woody read that list
- 1:21:56Speaker 10: with a bunch of tips of how to go in.
- 1:21:59Speaker 11: Oh, my God.
- 1:22:00Speaker 10: I cleared out 50 gigs in like 20 minutes.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it was crazy. What made the biggest difference? Like,
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: which one of those steps was it? To free up memory.
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:22:10Speaker 10: So I went into where you told me where you
- 1:22:12Speaker 10: could find, like, the biggest pieces of media, like videos
- 1:22:15Speaker 10: and stuff like that to delete. And also all the
- 1:22:17Speaker 10: GIFs and all the things and messages that it holds
- 1:22:20Speaker 10: on to.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Anytime somebody sent you, like, a picture
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: or a video, like, it's taking a text message. So
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: unless you saved it, it's still, if you have that
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: text message still on your phone, like, in your text
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: thread or, you know, on your text app. Yeah. It's
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: still on. It's still taking up all that room.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:22:36Speaker 10: And if you saved it and it's already in your photos,
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: then it's also still in the text.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:22:41Speaker 11: So you can go through and get rid of it
- 1:22:42Speaker 11: in the text because you already saved it somewhere else.
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God.
- 1:22:45Speaker 11: It was hugely helpful.
- 1:22:46Speaker 10: I couldn't believe how quickly I cleared out that much
- 1:22:49Speaker 10: storage because it was hidden and I didn't know. I
- 1:22:51Speaker 10: was going through my photos online. before and trying to
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: like delete pictures and it would be like maybe half
- 1:22:57Speaker 10: a gig that i could.
- 1:22:58Speaker 11: Get rid of and it was taking forever and it
- 1:23:00Speaker 11: wasn't working.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: There's things you don't even think about they're just taking
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: these huge chunks well.
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: Like you said they're hiding so you don't even know
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: to look for them.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: There's an easy quick uh like shortcut one where i'll
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: do uh delete the duplicates yes you can definitely do
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: that um but then the other one i thought uh
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: was really good because somebody hit us up saying i
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: didn't even know that was a thing i didn't either
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: until i found this whole list of these things yeah
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: which was when you go through Safari and you go
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: to the website, it's basically saving anything into your read
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: offline folder, a way that you can still read these
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: things that you've gone to the websites, even when you're offline.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: And that's holding a ton of data, too. And you
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: can set that, like, don't save this stuff for offline. Yeah.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Do you guys save all your texts online?
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: Every single time.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: You have no idea how that's come in handy so
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: many times because I can just search by keyword. Oh,
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: that's true. And it brings it up anytime that keyword's
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: been brought up and I can find it. I go, hey, remember?
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I will refer back like a mother ever. I just
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: used it this last weekend. I'm like, no, we talked
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: about this. We did? Yeah.
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: Here, hold on.
- 1:24:05Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: And then boom here. Oh, okay, cool. Every text I've
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: ever gotten.
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: That's going to be.
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: Just thousands and thousands.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Oh, dude.
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: I mean, it goes back a long time.
- 1:24:13Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: Long time.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: I wonder if you can just look up like what
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: the date of your first text is.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: Yeah, because you can't just go to the top.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: No, exactly.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: Scroll, scroll, scroll. I don't save it. I'm going to find. Yeah,
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: I used to. Now I don't. I'm going to find
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: the because there was a post that same list that
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: I was telling you guys about. Oh, here it is. Boom.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: That was easy. Oh, staples. That was easy. I am
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: sharing it on our Instagram story. And it's the same
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: steps that are the same things that you could do
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: that Sammy just used. The same one I sent to
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: her with the different things to free up. If you're
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: in that space, that space issue. Because so many people are.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: If you're in that space jam. Right.
- 1:24:57Speaker 10: Because I would bring it up to people and say,
- 1:24:58Speaker 10: can you take a picture of me for this? Because
- 1:25:00Speaker 10: I don't have any storage on my phone. They're like, oh,
- 1:25:02Speaker 10: I hate it when that happens. Happens to me all
- 1:25:04Speaker 10: the time.
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: So, yeah.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: Very disruptive. I just posted it on our Instagram story
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: at The Woody Show on Instagram. If you want to
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: click through and check it out, there's like five or
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: six different things in there that you can do to
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: save up that space. All right. We're going to take
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: a quick break. We'll come back. Throwback Thursday continues.
- 1:25:21Speaker 4: T.O.
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: Tim will be here. He wasn't able to remember. Alfred
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: Robles was here last week filling in. Comedian Alfred Robles
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: was here filling in for T.O. Tim. But this week, T.O.
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: Tim is back. We'll have some questions for him. We'll
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: go up in the club, that and more next on
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: The Woody Show. What's on the back? Is it more hair?
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The Woody Show. And into the final
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: hour for you. Here on this Thursday morning, it is
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: the Woody Show. Homestretch, you guys. Woody, Greg, Manis, Gina Grad.
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: Phones are open. 877-44-WOODY. Text us. Check in. Throwback Thursday request.
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: Whatever you got. Over to 22987. You can also send
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: us an email. Email at thewoodyshow.com. And that's where you
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: would send your questions for T.O.
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: Tim.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: That's who we welcome into the studio right now. He
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: is the pride of McCoy, but he's the senior vice
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: president and managing partner of Club Turnup, El Presidente, T.O.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: Tim himself, DJ Tim Martinez!
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: You know, a pretty show.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so we didn't have Tim here last week. I
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: wanted you to meet Alfred Robles.
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: I know, I heard. I can't believe I missed him.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: You guys would be homies.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. I can't wait.
- 1:26:41Speaker 12: Let's get him back in.
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: He filled in for you.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: He did on the T.O. Tim segment, but... great job
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: at the iHeartRadio music festival this past weekend. Tim was
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: running and was responsible for the, uh, whole outside plaza
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: of the house of music. So there was live performances.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: There was all kinds of stuff out there. These, uh,
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: you know, artists that had their different like setups there
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: that people can walk through experiences and things. And Tim
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: was in charge of all of it. Although one of
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: my favorite conversations was I was hanging out with Tim
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: and I say, Hey, cause he's been there in the
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: entire week at this point, this is like on a Friday. And, uh,
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: I said, how's it going? He's like, dude, I'm ready
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: to go home. He goes, I even told my wife
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: I missed her. He called his wife. He said, I
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: miss you.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: I go, wow.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: Which is very not like Tim. No, no.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: I'll hit her up.
- 1:27:27Speaker 12: If I'm traveling, I'll be like, oh man, I can't
- 1:27:29Speaker 12: wait to get home. Something like that.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he misses her.
- 1:27:31Speaker 12: I don't really usually come right out and say, Babe,
- 1:27:36Speaker 12: I miss you.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: Like, I can't wait to get home.
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: Like, Thursday night, I was like, I miss you.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: Now, but Greg.
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: But Greg, because I know Tim so well, I decoded it.
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: And Tim's like, dude, you know what? He goes, you're
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: absolutely right. Okay. Tim was so ready to be home
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: and on his couch and not working and dealing with
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: everybody anymore. Yeah, yeah. He said, I miss you to
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: his wife. because he wants to be home and he
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: associates her with home.
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: It's what she represents. She represents home. He's talking to her.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: I miss you. I want to be home. I miss
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: the collective you.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: All right. Well, you ready for some T.O. Tim questions?
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: And we'll go up in the club here on this
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: throwback Thursday. T.O. Tim. Yes. We get the questions. You
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: guys send them over on the text. You can also,
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: if you have a question that you'd like to have
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: thrown around the room here and answered for a future
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: round of T.O. Tim questions, You can just send it
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: on our email, email at the Woody show dot com.
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: Jeff G. All right. What is the first question here? Question.
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: Number one.
- 1:28:40Speaker 14: Now that it's officially fall, what is a Latino cure
- 1:28:44Speaker 14: for the common cold?
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: Oh, it could be a food item.
- 1:28:47Speaker 14: Could be an item, a product could be a, uh,
- 1:28:50Speaker 14: some kind of act or something that you do to
- 1:28:52Speaker 14: combat the cold.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: What is the Latino cure for the common cold?
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Got it.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: I'm, I got an answer. Oh, this pen sucks.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: Here.
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: Do you want another one?
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: There you go. Thank you. Because you came back and
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: you were not feeling so well. Yeah, I'm still fighting it.
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: Same.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: There was a bunch of people who came back with
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: somewhat cold. Yeah, everybody.
- 1:29:15Speaker 9: Vegasitis.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: Mocos.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: All right. Everybody got an answer written down? Yes. All right. Yep.
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: My answer, I wrote, Tequila. I just remember, man, there
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: are a couple people who every time I would start
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: feeling under the weather, they're like, dude, take a couple
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: shots of tequila. Now, there was one who was my
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: buddy's in-laws. They were Russian, right?
- 1:29:41Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: I've told this story before. And I was kind of
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: not feeling well. And they're around. And the dad goes, woody.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: Take a shot of tequila, vodka, put on a sock,
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: put your socks on and go to bed. He goes,
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: you'll wake up feeling fresh.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: Did it work?
- 1:29:59Speaker 9: If I had a sore throat as a kid, my
- 1:30:01Speaker 9: parents made me gargle with vodka.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: And then I had another friend, Mexican friend. And he
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: said the same thing. He goes, dude, tequila cures everything.
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: Think about it. It's alcohol. Yeah. And what do you
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: do before you give yourself an injection?
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: You rub alcohol. You're putting the alcohol inside, see? You're
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: disinfecting your body.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: Disinfecting everything.
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: That's how he was selling it. I know before you
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: start sending texts. I know it's not how it works.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: I'm just saying. I think it works. So my answer
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: is tequila. Gina Grad. VapoRub. VapoRub. Put that all over yourself.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: All right. VapoRub. VapoRub.
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: I considered tequila, but I went with caldo de pollo.
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: Very good.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: Yes, sir. Okay.
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: Very good.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: White question. What is that?
- 1:30:45Speaker 9: Chicken soup.
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: Yep. Oh, okay.
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:48Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: I mean, pollo, I've heard. De pollo. And I can
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: make it. Chicken soup? Ooh.
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Is that difficult?
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: Chicken soup?
- 1:30:58Speaker 9: It's not difficult per se. But Mario's sister is an
- 1:31:02Speaker 9: awesome chef. And I tried to imitate her where she's
- 1:31:06Speaker 9: not very exacting with everything. If it needs cilantro, she
- 1:31:09Speaker 9: just grabs it, rips it, and throws it. And she
- 1:31:12Speaker 9: just takes the bouillon and throws it. You have to
- 1:31:14Speaker 9: kind of look like you don't care. And it just
- 1:31:16Speaker 9: turns out awesome.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: I mean, I think you just open the can, right?
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Good old Campbell's.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: That's right.
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: That's right. All right.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: Mexican. Mexican. Mexican.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: Menace.
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: Hi, I'm here.
- 1:31:28Speaker 4: I believe it's a whole mixture.
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: I will pick one, but I would say Vaporub slash Vix, Sprite,
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: and Menudo.
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: But if I had to pick one, I would say Menudo. Oh,
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: please show us how you spell Menudo. Menudo.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: Hold on. M-O-N-E-W-D-O.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: Wait, wait, wait.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Turn around. M-O-N-M-O-N-U-D-O. Menudo.
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: Menudo.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: Menudo.
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: Menudo.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: All right, Jeff.
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: Menudo.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: No, I'm not all right.
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: Menudo. Wait, but let's also look at his Vapo. Vapo
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: slash Vic. Oh, gotcha.
- 1:32:04Speaker 4: Okay, gotcha. And then Sprite and then Menudo.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Okay, got it.
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: Sammy?
- 1:32:09Speaker 13: Vicks.
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: Vicks.
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: Which is Sabo. Jeff G. I put Vicks, of course.
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: And then if you have an upset stomach, 7up. With
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: the Vicks, though, Vicks on your feet and socks on
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: is really good.
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: That works really, really well. Yeah. Puto on the sock.
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: Puto on the sock.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: I thought you said something else in Spanish. What did
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: you call her? What do you got to you, Tim?
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: You guys are all right, really. I mean, I said it.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: The way we say it, Vaporub.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: Yes! Nice.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:32:39Speaker 12: And you have to put it on your chest, your
- 1:32:41Speaker 12: upper lip, and on your feet.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: Hell yeah. Did you do that the other day when
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: you weren't filming?
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: I did. You did? I did.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: Vaporub.
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: Vaporub.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: Vaporub.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: I do love those videos where the guy will have
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: his buddy try to pronounce the names of stores.
- 1:32:57Speaker 9: Oh, yes.
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: Or the name of candy bars.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: Sneakers.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Sneakers.
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: So good.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: All right. Next for T.O.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: Tim.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: This one, we don't need answers from anybody.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: T.O.
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: Tim is actually giving all of the answers.
- 1:33:11Speaker 5: T.O.
- 1:33:11Speaker 14: Tim, it is common in Latino households that you get
- 1:33:14Speaker 14: a nickname when you're a kid.
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: That sticks with you for life.
- 1:33:18Speaker 14: And most of these nicknames are usually about your appearance
- 1:33:20Speaker 14: or something you're super insecure about.
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: Oh, boy.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: So T.O.
- 1:33:24Speaker 14: Tim, give the Woody Show cast members their Latino nicknames.
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: No.
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: Gordo y Flaca. Yeah. All right.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 1:33:35Speaker 15: I did write these down because I wanted to remember.
- 1:33:39Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: Woody. Yeah.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: El Mero Mero.
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: What's that?
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: Like, the guy.
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: The boss. El Mero Mero. Okay.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: It could have been Jefe, right? But El Mero Mero.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: For sure.
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33:51Speaker 12: And then we're going to Jeff G.
- 1:33:54Speaker 15: He is everybody's primo. So primo is his name. Everybody's cousin. Literally,
- 1:33:59Speaker 15: everybody knows Jeff G. Like, you've seen him at all
- 1:34:02Speaker 15: these events and, like, If you don't know him from
- 1:34:04Speaker 15: The Woody Show, you know him from seven other radio stations.
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: Sports reporting.
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: He is Primo for sure. That's better than the one
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: I had as a kid, which is Orejon Big Ears.
- 1:34:15Speaker 12: I wasn't going to go there.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: How do you say it?
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: Orejon Big Ears. That's not nice.
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: That's how it goes. It's always about your appearance.
- 1:34:28Speaker 12: Gina, you're really tough.
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:34:30Speaker 15: You know, because you're just so perfect. There's nothing that
- 1:34:35Speaker 15: I can make fun of you about. That's a first.
- 1:34:38Speaker 12: La Jefa is what I went with, right?
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: Is this how they count?
- 1:34:42Speaker 7: La Jefa.
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: Like the boss lady?
- 1:34:44Speaker 12: The boss lady.
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: You're the mother.
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: Oh, man.
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:34:49Speaker 12: But I was trying to, like, what is funny about Gina?
- 1:34:52Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: You don't have, like, a tic.
- 1:34:57Speaker 4: Ask the people. You haven't stayed long enough when you've
- 1:35:01Speaker 4: been here.
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: Is there a text she doesn't have? No, that's nice.
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: You got a good one.
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: So Greg, just so you know, you should be called,
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: do they call you Goyo?
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: Well, no.
- 1:35:15Speaker 12: Because that's really your nickname for Gregory.
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: Is Goyo.
- 1:35:20Speaker 12: But that is not what I said.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: Flaco.
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: I know you don't believe it.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: I don't believe it.
- 1:35:25Speaker 4: Yeah, but for sure, you get up here. Manus, this
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: was a fun one.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: There's so much.
- 1:35:31Speaker 16: But your nickname is Desmadre. Which is like a mess. So,
- 1:35:39Speaker 16: Desmadre is your nickname.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: That's fun.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: And Sammy was pretty easy.
- 1:35:44Speaker 12: I mean, you know, obviously, for obvious reasons, I call
- 1:35:48Speaker 12: her Chapada. Which is short, like a shorty.
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: Makes sense.
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: How'd I do? Good. We would have called her La Gordita.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: Sure, yes.
- 1:36:00Speaker 7: Where did that come from?
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: I keep hearing.
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: I mean, just look at her, dude. She's insanely fat.
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: This is crazy.
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: No, well, so she gained... For whatever reason, like six
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: pounds over the course of like a week or something
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: like that.
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: No, six pounds?
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: Whatever it was.
- 1:36:15Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, it wasn't a week, but it was.
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: No, it was a short amount of time.
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: And she weighed herself, and it was six pounds heavier
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: than she was the last time she weighed herself, or
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: something like that.
- 1:36:24Speaker 11: Right, but it went to the doctor.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: And she was, like, all horrified by it. We're like, you're, like,
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: four pounds soaking wet. So we lean into, like, a
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: fat guy named Tiny. We're like, oh, wow, Fat Sammy.
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: Fat Sammy is crazy.
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: It's devastating.
- 1:36:36Speaker 11: I weigh almost, I think, the most I've ever weighed
- 1:36:38Speaker 11: in my whole life.
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: Which is still nothing. Wow. She just took the scale
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: like three digits.
- 1:36:44Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:36:45Speaker 11: 106 pounds.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: Ew.
- 1:36:48Speaker 3: Ew.
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: Gross. 106 pounds?
- 1:36:51Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: Look out, guys. Make way. Wide berth. Wide your doorways.
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: What's that? Wide load. We have to grease her in
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: and out of the studio. She beeps when she backs up.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: She's so gross.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You're disgusting.
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: Wait, 106?
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: I want to slap you.
- 1:37:06Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: It's T.O.
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: Tim, everybody.
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: It is a throwback Thursday, and DJ Tim Martinez is here.
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: Fresh off a round of T.O. Tim, and now on
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: a throwback Thursday, time to go up in the club.
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: And what do we got this week, Tim? All right.
- 1:37:36Speaker 4: It is not somber. We're going 1988. This song was.
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: Huge, huge.
- 1:37:42Speaker 12: Actually, everything he did was huge. What do you think?
- 1:37:46Speaker 4: I think you like Mr. Postman.
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: Kind of giving it away here.
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: Because I love you.
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: Because I love you. That's what it is.
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: The Postman song.
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: Parenthetically. Until I Met You was the only song from
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: him I had ever heard in my life.
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38:01Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: And now I know a few different songs.
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: Oh, for sure. We were talking about Stevie B.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: Who won 1988 Spring Love.
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: Up in the clear. The Woody Show. Throwback Thursday. What?
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: What is up with Stevie B these days?
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: Oh, he's doing a lot of shows.
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: Still out there doing his thing.
- 1:38:20Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: Well, I mean, if Debbie devon can still be out
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: there why can't stevie be spring love up in the
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: club throwback thursday on the woody show stevie be spring
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: love up in the club throwback thursday here on the
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: woody show alt 98 7 dj tim martinez oh yeah i.
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: Remember when that song came out that's so weird.
- 1:38:44Speaker 15: It's brand new.
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like we've covered so much ground, Tim.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Is there anything that we're missing? I mean, getting ready
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: to go into postseason baseball. Dodger baseball. How do you feel?
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: Officially fall. Happy about it? Bummed about it?
- 1:38:57Speaker 12: Oh, my God.
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: I'm so ready for it.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: I am here.
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: What a girl.
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: Greg is upset. Summer blew. Summer ruled. It was four
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: seconds long. Yeah, Greg is bummed, and he says that
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: getting excited about fall is a chick thing. Or a
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: gay thing. Yeah. But not him.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: At this point, I'll take them both.
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: Hell yeah. Yeah.
- 1:39:21Speaker 4: I don't even care. I just made a 75 degree
- 1:39:25Speaker 4: weather day.
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: That does sound great. Yeah.
- 1:39:28Speaker 4: I mean- The more the merrier.
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: And then we're going to have so much rain.
- 1:39:31Speaker 4: I love it. El Nino's here. How do you feel
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: about that?
- 1:39:37Speaker 9: El Nino can test my D.
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: And that's what Tim's doing for fall. He's sucking a.
- 1:39:46Speaker 4: Bunch of Ds.
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: Apparently.
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: He's gay for it.
- 1:39:50Speaker 3: He's here for it. He's queer. Get off the boots.
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: He's gay for the stay of fall. All right. Thank you, Tim.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: I love you guys.
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: This is... the woody show i got uh somebody here
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: and he waits till right before the microphone's gone and
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: he's here when the microphones are off and then he
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: leaves yeah he just wondered no he's right there this
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: is c-match this is for you dude i have something
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: for you it's uh it's another kid who's smarter than
- 1:40:21Speaker 3: you oh there's so many.
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: Of those This is such a weird premise, but I'm
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: willing to listen.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: Well, look, I'm glad you're all ears.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: There are no smart kids out in the world somewhere?
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: His name is Joe Petraro Hepalita. Smarter than somebody. All right.
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: He's 13 years old.
- 1:40:43Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: He's got Tourette's and leukemia. Not so nice. He's from
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: Long Island. He's got an IQ of 168.
- 1:40:52Speaker 7: Damn.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Jeez, Joe. I don't know if I believe that. Where
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: was this test administered? Well, exactly. But for kids, it's...
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: How do we know where your test was administered? How
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: can we verify that? The library. How can I verify? Oh,
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: This official plaque from Mensa.
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: Oh, I wonder. They don't sell official plaques. Gina's got
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: that same thing. But you bring into question where she
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: got tested for it. How do we know?
- 1:41:17Speaker 4: We're getting distracted from the point of hand.
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: Tell us about Joe. What is considered above average? Where
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: does that begin?
- 1:41:26Speaker 6: Above average is anything over 100, right?
- 1:41:28Speaker 3: Because 100 is the average. He's looking for standard deviations. IQ,
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: I think it's like 130.
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: That's about right, yeah.
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: Well, he's one of the youngest people ever accepted into
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: the master's program at New York University. Okay, that's something. Now,
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: that's legit smart. That's legit. I know a lot of
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: times we have these stories and, you know. Well, it's
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: just an association. It's our community college.
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: I still got to ask, master's in what?
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: Joe is accepted into LSU to earn a bachelor's degree.
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: After that, he goes to NYU's master's program. At seven,
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: he published a series of short books. What a loser.
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: In 2022, he started a nonprofit, which has built over
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: 127 wells in Africa.
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: And a sports for all league, providing free, inclusive athletic opportunities.
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: Easy.
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: So I think you just put the exclamation point. Smarter
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: than Seabed. Would you agree that this kid is smarter
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: than you?
- 1:42:30Speaker 4: First off, never a standard, I said. But number two,
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: I'm glad that he's learning. Again, stories like this I
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: enjoy because they encourage smartness in general.
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: It looks like he's getting sports medicine, so that's, ugh,
- 1:42:44Speaker 4: that's literally any idiot can do that. But I'm glad.
- 1:42:48Speaker 3: But he's not an idiot.
- 1:42:50Speaker 4: I didn't say he was an idiot. I'm just saying,
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: that's what I said. Oh, I've got a master's degree
- 1:42:54Speaker 4: in what, sports medicine?
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: If you were an idiot, you could also have that.
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: Is that what you're saying? But isn't being a genius
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: the way that you are, isn't this and doing this
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: every day kind of aiming low? This is really important.
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: I'm changing the world, quite frankly. Oh, yeah.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: Feels like it feels changed.
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: Uh, I mean, carton arcs.
- 1:43:11Speaker 9: Right, obviously.
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: That's world champion. That we all agree with.
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: A thought leader. What about for us in the room?
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: How many times do I have to explain this?
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: A thought leader.
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: I literally came in to save the show for Woody.
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: You guys wouldn't have jobs but for me.
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: Is that right? That's what you said at the time.
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: But now, of course, 10, 12, 11 years later. I
- 1:43:30Speaker 4: said that? Not you. I didn't say that.
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: You're getting the runoff.
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: You're getting the runoff in the form of a job mess.
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: I would disagree with. I was about to quit the show.
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: We hired Steve.
- 1:43:39Speaker 9: And if he quit, he would never have a job.
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: He's conflating two stories.
- 1:43:44Speaker 7: If I had to give credit to anybody, I would
- 1:43:45Speaker 7: give credit to somebody named Lisa May, which opened up
- 1:43:49Speaker 7: a window for people to tune into the show, which
- 1:43:52Speaker 7: is the exact same timeline.
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: So that's who I would- Oh, you're saying another woman
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: who got fired.
- 1:43:59Speaker 7: Opened up a timeline for us to get new listeners.
- 1:44:01Speaker 7: And it was perfectly timed. So I would give her
- 1:44:04Speaker 7: more credit than you.
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: Well, why was I hired then, Menace? To help out
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: the show.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: Yeah, because we didn't have.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: Any producer at all. Yeah. And then they finally let
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: me hire a producer. Dude, they tried to set me
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: up with this one person who was already here in
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: the building who said they were interested. and doing it,
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: but then they were just using it to get a
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: better offer from somewhere else. Oh, no. Remember that guy?
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't even want this guy. He's
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: a nice guy. I thought he was a nice guy.
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't even want this guy. I'm like,
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: this is your guy. Anyway, when that happened, I'm like, see, fine.
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: Can I finally hire... Because I was trying to hire
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: Seabass first. Right, exactly. And the show just failed, failed, failed.
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: And then succeeded.
- 1:44:40Speaker 5: No.
- 1:44:40Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:44:41Speaker 7: Then that Lisa May thing happened, and then... opened up
- 1:44:45Speaker 7: a timeline and then every single night i was online
- 1:44:49Speaker 7: until 10 o'clock at night interacting with every person that
- 1:44:51Speaker 7: was upset i'm not saying tell them to tune in
- 1:44:53Speaker 7: so i think i i'm not saying earn my spot.
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: Let's just give it to menace then yeah give it
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: to me instead i wonder why you guys failed for
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: the first year then i'm kind of curious.
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: Boy yeah but you guys are distracting for the main
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: point we're trying to celebrate this kid.
- 1:45:10Speaker 11: Is that who we're celebrating right now?
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: Well, dude, it sounds like somebody just threw their own
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: birthday party. I was not forgetting how this was prefaced.
- 1:45:20Speaker 7: This was the first year when you have zero marking
- 1:45:22Speaker 7: dollars and you're trying to reach millions of people.
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: Menace, he's trolling.
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: Settle down.
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: No, no, I'm just saying.
- 1:45:27Speaker 7: I want him to explain.
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: I'm trolling the guy who prefaced the story by... Hey,
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: here's a smart kid who's smarter than CBS.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we always do that.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: You always do that because you chose to, not because
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: I was like, I'm smarter than every kid on the planet.
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: No, you say you're smarter than everybody. I'm like, not
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: only are you not smarter than everybody, you're not even
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: smarter than this kid. I do not say that. There's
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: a child.
- 1:45:46Speaker 9: When before on this show has a narrative been made
- 1:45:48Speaker 9: up about somebody that's not accurate?
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: Yeah, never. Crazy. Not here.
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: Thank you for agreeing, Greg.
- 1:45:53Speaker 3: 877-44-WOODY. Send us a text over to 2-2. How's she
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: doing these days? She's great, actually.
- 1:46:00Speaker 5: 8-7.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I love her. She's a very nice lady. We
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: like her a lot. She's very sweet. We're going to
- 1:46:06Speaker 3: take a quick break. More Woody shows next.
- 1:46:08Speaker 9: My boiler wouldn't approve.
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: The Woody Show. All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
- 1:46:15Speaker 8: Yeah, Woody.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: And that's going to do it for Thursday, everybody. Pre-Friday
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: in the books. Thanks again to Brandon, the mullet review guy,
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: who's going to all the Chinese buffets until he gets
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: food poisoning. He is as cool as you would think
- 1:46:35Speaker 3: he was. Yeah, so mellow. He's chill. He's friendly. He
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: does a lot of cool stuff. Gina was like doing
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: a deep dive on the internet over there. He does
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: a lot of like cool charity stuff.
- 1:46:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: Helping out different people.
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: Different ice cream parlors.
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: Yeah, like bringing these kids and stuff. Like special needs. Yeah,
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: pretty cool. Yeah, they're taken care of. I'm sure you
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: know exactly what we're talking about. We're gooning out now, boys. Yeah,
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: we're gooning out, boys. But yeah, the Chinese buffet guy
- 1:46:59Speaker 3: was on the show this morning. If you missed it,
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: it's on today's podcast. Just go to thewoodyshow.com or find
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: it wherever you get your favorite podcast. Tomorrow is Friday.

- 1:47:14Speaker 3: anything that we can do to get through the morning
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: into the weekend as quickly as possible. DYQ, Friday Fail Stories,
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: and more. Tomorrow here on The Woody Show. Anything you
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: got for us in the meantime, leave it on the
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: After Hours voicemail. That number is 877-44-WOODY. Find us, follow
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: us on social media. Look for us there at The
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: Woody Show.
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: Do it.
- 1:47:33Speaker 9: Greg Gorey, parting words of wisdom, please. Yeah, in Star Trek,
- 1:47:36Speaker 9: it's weird. They boldly went where no one ever went before,
- 1:47:40Speaker 9: yet they always found someone there.
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: Good point.
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: You know, that's a... It's strange. That's a mind blower, Greg. Yeah,
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: that's something to think about. I thought it was really
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: weird recently, William Shatner, who we all have our own
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: experiences about him being a jerk. Yes. He was talking
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: about George Takai, and he tried to say that he
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: doesn't even really know him, because I don't even know him.
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: Is that possible? How is that possible?
- 1:48:06Speaker 7: Because he said when they were filming everything that they
- 1:48:11Speaker 7: didn't get along at all, so they didn't really hang out.
- 1:48:13Speaker 6: Yeah, and it was also like 60 years ago.
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: Yeah, he said he was a dick.
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: But they don't go to the same conventions? Or dinner parties?
- 1:48:19Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:48:19Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: Think, like, with, yeah, all those things, all these different,
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: they're always at the same place for all these different
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: Star Trek things. They did movies together.
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: They're not buddies.
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: What do you mean I don't know that guy?
- 1:48:28Speaker 9: Yeah, well, they're just co-workers at that point, you know?
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: Strange.
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey. You got it, Woody.
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: We thank you so much for giving The Woody Show
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: some of your valuable time this morning. You know we
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: love and appreciate you for that. The rest of you
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: guys can suck it. Catch you back here on Friday.
- 1:48:42Speaker 3: Have a great day. SMD double M. I quit this bitch.
