The Pheasant Pen: Adrian Prout and the Murder of Kate Prout
On Bonfire Night 2007, retired teacher Kate Prout, 55, vanished from Redhill Farm in Redmarley D'Abitot, Gloucestershire, the day after demanding £800,000 from her husband Adrian in their divorce. Despite the county's largest ever search and no body, a Bristol Crown Court jury convicted him of murder in 2010; in 2011 he failed a lie detector test, confessed, and led police to her grave in a pheasant pen on the farm. Follow the show for the full case every day.
