Ahab asks Jehoshaphat to join him in battle against Ramoth-gilead. Although 400 prophets predict victory, Jehoshaphat asks whether there is a prophet of the Lord. Micaiah is summoned and warns that Israel's king will fall in battle. Despite this warning, Ahab rejects the truth and imprisons Micaiah.
Ahab disguises himself during the battle, but a random arrow strikes him between the joints of his armour, and he dies—fulfilling God's word…
