- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on artists.
- 0:07Speaker 1: This week raar cauchow uh bear sound. It's nature documentaries.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The favorite thing for that people put on when they
- 0:19Speaker 2: just want to watch something go on and on and
- 0:21Speaker 2: on and on. Nature documentaries show a side of earth
- 0:25Speaker 2: that we rarely get to capture because animals act different
- 0:28Speaker 2: when people are there.
- 0:30Speaker 3: But what does it take to actually shoot this wildlife?
- 0:34Speaker 3: These people spend months and months and months doing one thing,
- 0:38Speaker 3: only shooting these beautiful animals. Watch in today as we
- 0:43Speaker 3: discuss how to take that shot of that bird, how
- 0:47Speaker 3: to capture that lion, and how to kiss the lens
- 0:51Speaker 3: while you're asleep.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Let's listen in.
- 0:58Speaker 5: My god, look at us.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I mean, this is just a wonderful group. This is
- 1:05Speaker 1: a wonderful group.
- 1:07Speaker 5: It's nice to be here with y'all.
- 1:09Speaker 6: It's nice to be anywhere after what we experienced on
- 1:12Speaker 6: our Siberia life.
- 1:14Speaker 2: You talk about Siberia, you're saying Siberia, Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:18Speaker 2: keep thinking about Siberia. I keep thinking about Siberia every day,
- 1:21Speaker 2: every time I close my eyes about Siberia.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It was like massive, It was like fucking crazy, man.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It was like fucking there. We were there, and it
- 1:29Speaker 3: was fucking all of it.
- 1:31Speaker 5: You know, God, I mean to base them where we're
- 1:33Speaker 5: four wolves. I'm so excited.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I'm saying, it's just nice to be somewhere with four wolves, four.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Wolves, four walls, and zero wolves.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Wolves wolves, right. I think the problem for me was
- 1:51Speaker 2: the wolves. It wasn't that we were out.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Doing the wolves much, did you?
- 1:55Speaker 4: Personally?
- 1:56Speaker 2: I don't like when a wolf has been hunting me
- 1:58Speaker 2: for days. No, that's personal. Behind the wolves, you.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Just kind of look at him a little bit.
- 2:05Speaker 7: It's this is so good to get the team together
- 2:08Speaker 7: on my Oh, we're gonna see some secrets. We're gonna
- 2:11Speaker 7: see some stuff that might just blow your mind. If
- 2:14Speaker 7: you're a big nature documentary person, I like, I don't
- 2:16Speaker 7: even know where to begin, but I just want.
- 2:17Speaker 5: To warn you. This might this might ruin a little
- 2:21Speaker 5: bit of the magic.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Hey, if you're a nature duck guy, what's it like
- 2:24Speaker 2: in that big comfy chair. What's it like eating that popcorn?
- 2:27Speaker 5: You like it?
- 2:28Speaker 4: You like what we're doing for you? You like smoking weed?
- 2:30Speaker 4: Do you bet?
- 2:31Speaker 3: You do?
- 2:32Speaker 5: Hey?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Why don't we go around and introduce ourselves.
- 2:38Speaker 8: I'm having fun. I'm having fun.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Guys.
- 2:41Speaker 8: Listen, my name is Greg Tiger.
- 2:45Speaker 1: That's a little stage name I started since I started
- 2:48Speaker 1: switched to Nature, got my starting rock and roll, and
- 2:52Speaker 1: then kind of pivoted to Nature documentary location scout. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: so I'm in the woods by myself looking at these
- 3:04Speaker 1: locations before all these guys come.
- 3:06Speaker 8: In, looking to make sure.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh, there's where the birds are gonna be, there's where
- 3:10Speaker 1: the bears are gonna be. And I should make sure
- 3:12Speaker 1: and see if it's a good spot for some good
- 3:15Speaker 1: animal drama to take place.
- 3:18Speaker 5: And I think the other days.
- 3:19Speaker 7: The other day, in my sleep, my wife said, I went, Tiger,
- 3:23Speaker 7: do we have this area permanent?
- 3:24Speaker 5: In my sleep and your sleep?
- 3:27Speaker 1: You're asking me these logistical questions. I love you're bringing
- 3:30Speaker 1: work on with you.
- 3:32Speaker 5: I believe it. I believe it.
- 3:33Speaker 6: I've done everything in my sleep after these shots.
- 3:37Speaker 5: But we don't sleep while we're out there. Sleep don't
- 3:39Speaker 5: sleep while he kind of bring it home with you
- 3:42Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 3:42Speaker 7: And I'll say best locations manager and rep in.
- 3:46Speaker 2: The bising his guitar. He doesn't bring his guitar.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Oh, pish posh, you love my music.
- 3:51Speaker 2: You played that guitar right when that bird of paradise
- 3:55Speaker 2: was about to do his mating call. Flew right away,
- 3:58Speaker 2: just so you can hit a g cord fist thing.
- 4:00Speaker 4: It's nice.
- 4:02Speaker 5: It is nice to capture, capture. We were right there.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Look, I was feeling the mood. I like
- 4:14Speaker 1: to lighten the mood. We do a lot of nothing.
- 4:17Speaker 1: We do a lot of waiting.
- 4:18Speaker 5: You can admit and then schedule, so it's nice to
- 4:23Speaker 5: pass the time. And I think the animals quite like it.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I believe.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I still maintain we got those geckos to come our
- 4:30Speaker 1: way because they were interested in my original cover.
- 4:33Speaker 9: And I really don't think that's what And I don't
- 4:35Speaker 9: think it's an original cover.
- 4:36Speaker 4: If it's a cover, No.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It's an original cover that nobody's ever done before.
- 4:41Speaker 5: It was your boat. It was an original cover.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It's original because I was the first one to cover
- 4:47Speaker 1: it exactly in the way that I had So I.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Can tell already this.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Is going to be a problem. I'm not the one
- 4:56Speaker 5: with a problem though.
- 4:58Speaker 10: Hello.
- 5:00Speaker 4: My name is Adrien.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I'm from South Africa, Cape Town, and I have gotten
- 5:05Speaker 3: into nature documentaries because it's right, the right thing for me.
- 5:10Speaker 3: You know, I lived a life to the edge. I
- 5:12Speaker 3: like cutboarding. I like cat surfing, I like cat flying.
- 5:19Speaker 4: What it? And now I'm into drones.
- 5:22Speaker 3: So I get the drone up in the air and
- 5:24Speaker 3: I find the animal and I'll shoot it.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So fun great.
- 5:28Speaker 7: I mean, it's crazy the industry these days, where you
- 5:31Speaker 7: you are not a crew of a documentary of animal
- 5:35Speaker 7: filmmakers unless you got a drone guy. And these drone guys,
- 5:39Speaker 7: I mean, you are all so different, but you're all
- 5:42Speaker 7: kind of the same.
- 5:45Speaker 3: When there's a meetup, it's it's non stop meetup. You're
- 5:49Speaker 3: kind of like this.
- 5:50Speaker 8: Your drones come when you do.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Of course, if it's a meetup of bringing the drones.
- 5:55Speaker 5: I've seen a good deal.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Of your meetup footage and it looks like it's just
- 6:00Speaker 6: your drones meeting up with.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Well, it's us in a circle and then we get
- 6:04Speaker 3: our drones in the sky to let them meet and shoot.
- 6:07Speaker 10: It's us.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I cannot watch another one of those videos of those
- 6:12Speaker 2: drum meet ups until you get rid of that sound.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Turn the sound off.
- 6:16Speaker 5: It's tough.
- 6:16Speaker 10: How would you know the meeting without the sound?
- 6:20Speaker 4: It's forty drones together with their MIC's on.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I like that, it's kind of like you separate it
- 6:25Speaker 1: like you do a dog park. So you have the
- 6:28Speaker 1: small drones in one area and the big drones in
- 6:30Speaker 1: the area. They get into fights.
- 6:33Speaker 5: Well, and it's gotten us into some hot water.
- 6:36Speaker 6: When we were in Brazil and Brail, come on.
- 6:41Speaker 5: The overclang, the overhanging cliff.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Hornets heard your drone, thought it was a mating call.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yeah, well and I got fucked.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Yeah, you got fifty hornets, you got fu So, yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 6: they attacked you and they fucked me.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm sorry by those hornets. By the way, I'm sorry
- 7:02Speaker 1: I got hot fucked by those horns.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I've been waiting eighteen months for an apology.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Finally, thank you.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I've just got to say, oh, really, it's the production's fold.
- 7:13Speaker 10: We can't just be the person.
- 7:17Speaker 5: My name is Sandy.
- 7:19Speaker 6: People call me Khakis or cac or Cacilacca or or sometimes.
- 7:28Speaker 5: I'm a rigger.
- 7:29Speaker 6: So I rigged the shots, I dig the ditches, I
- 7:32Speaker 6: make the magic happen. I have tunneled into ant mounds,
- 7:36Speaker 6: I have covered myself in dung, beetle dung. I have
- 7:41Speaker 6: which you need to do, but I was it's out
- 7:44Speaker 6: of respect for the animals.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Come on, you are so respectful to the animals. I try.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I try.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You go to such great lengths to accumulate to their
- 7:54Speaker 1: culture and sort of act like you're one of.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Them to an extent that well, well, if you know,
- 8:00Speaker 5: the animal's.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Story is their story to tell, and I feel like
- 8:04Speaker 6: I can't appropriate it unless I embed myself with them
- 8:08Speaker 6: and learn from their perspective.
- 8:10Speaker 4: You know, sometimes I feel like we lose you too.
- 8:13Speaker 4: You come back and it's like, where did where did
- 8:15Speaker 4: Cat go?
- 8:16Speaker 6: I've gone, I've gone places before, I've I have, I
- 8:19Speaker 6: have sent myself and to me, I think that's part
- 8:21Speaker 6: of the goal. It's almost like a spiritual aspect to
- 8:25Speaker 6: our work.
- 8:25Speaker 5: At time. On your birthday, we lost you.
- 8:27Speaker 4: You came back as a howling monkey, was crazy.
- 8:30Speaker 7: And you said it was my birthday, like, let me
- 8:32Speaker 7: do what I want? And I was like, what's happening
- 8:34Speaker 7: to Cat?
- 8:35Speaker 5: Was I wrong? It shouldn't we all get to do
- 8:37Speaker 5: what we want on our birthday.
- 8:41Speaker 4: There want your birthday.
- 8:44Speaker 5: If it's your birthday, all bets are all. That's right.
- 8:49Speaker 4: You see it.
- 8:51Speaker 5: You see it all the time.
- 8:52Speaker 6: A lot of times people think like a shark attack
- 8:55Speaker 6: is because there was blood in the water. It's usually
- 8:57Speaker 6: because it was the shark's birthday.
- 9:03Speaker 7: Yeah, so many criminals committed that crime on their birthday.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Literally, look at it.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Look at it, look at the stats.
- 9:10Speaker 1: If we looked at the birthdays of all those criminals,
- 9:14Speaker 1: we could probably get a lot of people exponge. That's
- 9:17Speaker 1: true because the judge doesn't always remember to ask what
- 9:20Speaker 1: was it your birthday?
- 9:21Speaker 2: You got it, And we got to get to death
- 9:24Speaker 2: row and ask these people if it was their birthday
- 9:26Speaker 2: when they did what they did.
- 9:27Speaker 6: There's a one in three hundred and sixty five chance
- 9:31Speaker 6: that it was, which is like a third of a percent.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That's huge.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Think about that.
- 9:40Speaker 6: There's way more than three hundred and sixty five criminals.
- 9:43Speaker 5: It's a real flaw in the justice system.
- 9:46Speaker 10: We have to fix it.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 8: God, but it's it's so wonderful having you on the team.
- 9:52Speaker 10: I mean, I love you so much.
- 9:54Speaker 1: If we could talk about mea cat manner. The reason
- 9:58Speaker 1: we were able to make me a cat man is
- 10:01Speaker 1: because you embedded yourself in the social drama of the meerkats.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Five months five months, Yeah.
- 10:11Speaker 5: And I raised a family as a merror cat.
- 10:14Speaker 2: And you reached a managerial hiring position with That's right.
- 10:20Speaker 6: This is what a lot of you don't understand about
- 10:23Speaker 6: the behind the scenes.
- 10:24Speaker 3: You know, you.
- 10:26Speaker 2: In your big puffy pop usan chairs smoking probably.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Probably probably smoking, eating.
- 10:34Speaker 6: You know, merkats are complicated because they're very emotional creatures.
- 10:40Speaker 5: And you know, yes, I reached a middle management position, which.
- 10:45Speaker 6: You know, you might think like, oh, success, you're really
- 10:48Speaker 6: gonna get us the shot. The downside of it is
- 10:51Speaker 6: there was a lot of resentment among the meerkats. They
- 10:54Speaker 6: all want to talk about their boss, they all want
- 10:58Speaker 6: to complain of their wife. Well, mind you, I had
- 11:01Speaker 6: a meerkat family. Yeah, I don't know mouse. Yeah, And
- 11:05Speaker 6: how did these kids feel when they hear their parents
- 11:08Speaker 6: chittering ship about me?
- 11:11Speaker 5: You know, Oh, it must be awful to have. Here's
- 11:16Speaker 5: some ter ship about you. It's tough.
- 11:19Speaker 6: It's worse than talking ship, it really is, because there's
- 11:23Speaker 6: a lot of room for interpretation.
- 11:24Speaker 4: You had to let meer cats go too. Yeah, you
- 11:28Speaker 4: said that. Tough.
- 11:30Speaker 5: All these cats you have of them, thank you so much.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Everyone.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Well you were a middle manager. Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And funnily enough, they all look kind of the signs
- 11:41Speaker 3: to you, to you, I'm sorry, inappropriate, sorry showing.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Up in the They all look the but of course
- 11:51Speaker 4: they do.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Man, that's right.
- 11:54Speaker 4: To drown.
- 11:55Speaker 10: They hate to drunk.
- 11:56Speaker 3: All right, somebody else got what's your I?
- 12:01Speaker 4: You guys know me. I'm Dougie.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I am the camop I specialize in the sedentary cameras.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Look, I'm the guy.
- 12:13Speaker 2: They kind of lock into one camera and leave for
- 12:15Speaker 2: about twelve hours.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Grumpy, douggy, grump.
- 12:21Speaker 10: It's a grumpy doggie.
- 12:22Speaker 7: It's just because you're good at pissing where you sit
- 12:25Speaker 7: doesn't mean you get to pout all the time.
- 12:27Speaker 10: This guy's watching great grow. It's like crazy.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I got into this because I'm an introvert. I love animals.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I thought it would be nice to be in around
- 12:37Speaker 2: a group of people who respect the silence. And these
- 12:39Speaker 2: people are the loudest motherfuckers I've ever met.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Crazy because you're loud.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Yelling because I'm telling you guys to be quiet.
- 12:49Speaker 2: We got this dro and screaming. We got a guy
- 12:51Speaker 2: bringing his electric guitar to Bora Bora. We got shittering
- 12:56Speaker 2: shit about it.
- 12:57Speaker 5: I dare you what I do?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Okay? Should I talk about the chips you eat? You
- 13:02Speaker 2: literally buy chips in order of how crunchy they are.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You love a crunchy chip.
- 13:06Speaker 5: If I'm directly under the boom, the boom doesn't hear them.
- 13:09Speaker 4: You clear Serengetti's with that Dorino crunch.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Which is handy.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Sometimes I have to say, oh yeah, there's a lot of.
- 13:18Speaker 11: What about when that mountainin look you get in the
- 13:20Speaker 11: face And I had the fucking audacity to grab a
- 13:24Speaker 11: bag of Dorito's in front of a mountain lion because
- 13:27Speaker 11: I knew my jew we'd steer it off because it
- 13:30Speaker 11: was so loud.
- 13:30Speaker 2: And this is where we differ, and this is where
- 13:32Speaker 2: I differ from all of you. We don't interfere with
- 13:37Speaker 2: mother nature.
- 13:38Speaker 5: We could interfere a little bit.
- 13:40Speaker 10: We can't.
- 13:44Speaker 4: No, we cannot, not if it's your birthday.
- 13:47Speaker 2: We have a solemn duty to document what's happening in nature.
- 13:52Speaker 2: We can't change it with our chip crunches, or our
- 13:55Speaker 2: guitars or our role play, or we take what is.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Happening and we pick it up on our equipment.
- 14:04Speaker 5: God, I've never seen you in a good mood.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Never. Yeah, because I'm alone.
- 14:09Speaker 2: When I'm in a good mood, when you guys leave,
- 14:11Speaker 2: the biggest smile goes across my face.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I look like a damn happy face.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Well, sometimes it's you know, we're just trying to get
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm a location scout, right, I'm trying to always get
- 14:21Speaker 1: the best location of it, and sometimes that involves the
- 14:25Speaker 1: animal performance. So you got so angry when we simply suggested,
- 14:30Speaker 1: why don't we just blow a little air towards that
- 14:33Speaker 1: cougar to see if we'll.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Pay attention towards the small amount of air.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Small You heard of the butterfly effect, one wing of
- 14:49Speaker 2: a butterfly flatting and flapping.
- 14:52Speaker 10: The cougar is a different the thing, guys, it's the call.
- 14:56Speaker 5: The butterfly effect is butterflies, not cougar.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Efing's completely different, something completely.
- 15:03Speaker 5: It's refect long locked today. I keep telling you my
- 15:08Speaker 5: mom is single.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I keep offering you know, you know what New Year
- 15:15Speaker 1: knew me.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Pass me on them.
- 15:20Speaker 7: Sorry, what's up, guys, I'm butch and I am the
- 15:24Speaker 7: sound guy.
- 15:24Speaker 5: What can I say?
- 15:26Speaker 3: It's really interesting to talk about this because a lot
- 15:29Speaker 3: of the time you know, this m O S was
- 15:31Speaker 3: shooting mo O S because it's so many hours in this,
- 15:34Speaker 3: so many things going on.
- 15:35Speaker 4: We had to recreate the sun later.
- 15:37Speaker 7: But I mean, it's so weird right to be on
- 15:40Speaker 7: this crew and to see the call sheet and to
- 15:42Speaker 7: see optional.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Next to my name. But I still show up right.
- 15:47Speaker 7: I don't think the storytelling should stop at just the visuals.
- 15:51Speaker 5: I think every once in a while, something I pick up.
- 15:54Speaker 2: On the boom, the you know what I'm working on,
- 15:57Speaker 2: giving compliments. Will you disguise your boom mics? Is very
- 16:00Speaker 2: very cool.
- 16:01Speaker 3: The way that you're able to put lava lea mics
- 16:04Speaker 3: on some of these animals, it's crazy.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Doesn't even know that they've been miked.
- 16:08Speaker 8: You know, it's a blow dart lava leo.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And I think the technology is really quite it's quite humane.
- 16:17Speaker 1: First of all, I'd like to say it's very humane
- 16:19Speaker 1: the way we've done it, and also I think it's
- 16:23Speaker 1: very inventive. And you're so committed to getting these animal
- 16:27Speaker 1: sounds because I know we use a lot of your
- 16:29Speaker 1: live audio that you or that you do record on
- 16:33Speaker 1: the day, and as long as we write down what
- 16:35Speaker 1: animal it's for, we can use it later.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Yeah, and sorry not to continually at a small amount
- 16:43Speaker 6: of smoke up your head. But the impressive thing too
- 16:47Speaker 6: is the knowledge of the animals and where you should
- 16:50Speaker 6: place the dart and who can handle it.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Those harvester. Ants were about a.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Third the size of the live but you knew that
- 16:58Speaker 6: they could carry fifty times their body weight and it
- 17:01Speaker 6: wasn't a big deal.
- 17:02Speaker 5: It was a simple Google search. And I mean, like,
- 17:05Speaker 5: you don't catch me.
- 17:06Speaker 7: That you can just boom, But no, I mean I
- 17:12Speaker 7: was a little boy growing up and I invented a
- 17:16Speaker 7: dark gun that you could shoot at a woman's chest
- 17:19Speaker 7: and take.
- 17:20Speaker 5: A braw off.
- 17:21Speaker 7: And ever since then, it was like my dad was
- 17:24Speaker 7: like you going, He was.
- 17:27Speaker 5: Like heep going. He said that he wanted to encourage that,
- 17:32Speaker 5: but like his kid's got something right.
- 17:34Speaker 7: So then I finally found a spot where I can
- 17:36Speaker 7: love entering anything with my lave of dark gun from
- 17:39Speaker 7: a mile away. I can love ants. I can love
- 17:42Speaker 7: fucking I don't even know, dude. I tried to love
- 17:45Speaker 7: a crocodile.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Remember that, Yeah, yeah, I mean that was you loved
- 17:48Speaker 2: a crocodile while he was literally tearing into an analyot.
- 17:52Speaker 4: It was crazy, and he got it. It hooked onto
- 17:54Speaker 4: the side and then he spun well and.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Then swallowing the antelope meant that he swallowed the lab
- 18:02Speaker 6: and he got to hear the digestion process.
- 18:04Speaker 5: That was nuts. That was nuts and there was metal
- 18:06Speaker 5: rattling around.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Who's in the having to wait twenty four to thirty
- 18:10Speaker 2: six hours after the person who's good at staying still,
- 18:12Speaker 2: So some of the loves I would ask if you
- 18:14Speaker 2: could have them not try to eat those, because then
- 18:16Speaker 2: I that kind of uh makes my day about two
- 18:20Speaker 2: to three days longer because I have to wait around
- 18:22Speaker 2: for the work.
- 18:22Speaker 4: It just feels lucky. Hete what you do pretty. I
- 18:26Speaker 4: love what I do more than anything.
- 18:29Speaker 5: It's just animals, bro, It's like a fun time.
- 18:32Speaker 2: We are capturing, in many, many instances, animals that we
- 18:37Speaker 2: will never see again. The amount of animals we've captured.
- 18:40Speaker 5: That are now extended don't make me cry.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I'm just saying, guys, this is important work. We are
- 18:45Speaker 2: cataloging the planet Earth. We are making document of these
- 18:50Speaker 2: animals that we are also killing at the same time.
- 18:53Speaker 4: It's beautiful work, guys.
- 18:54Speaker 6: It's important work, of course, and I do feel bad
- 18:57Speaker 6: about all the ones that we kill.
- 18:59Speaker 5: I do. I do. We shouldn't be doing that.
- 19:02Speaker 6: He just.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Seen him actors die in movies.
- 19:07Speaker 4: That's true. Trying to do it's.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Is driving a car. It flips, you know, to make
- 19:16Speaker 5: it action.
- 19:18Speaker 7: No I do think it's important, and that is something
- 19:20Speaker 7: like I hate to say and like peek behind the
- 19:23Speaker 7: curtain and say that animals sometimes die during these sometimes
- 19:26Speaker 7: crew members die.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Like we're like, I mean we should.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Ye, I mean, Kaki, let's talk about it. Accidentally waterboard
- 19:33Speaker 2: and Ostrich. I thought it was horrifying. There was a
- 19:38Speaker 2: lot of preventative measures we could have taken to clarify.
- 19:42Speaker 6: Yes, it was an accident that I waterboarded it to death,
- 19:47Speaker 6: but the waterboarding was instigated because the Ostrich was not
- 19:51Speaker 6: telling me key information that I needed to know.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Because you were an Ostrich call at the toll.
- 19:57Speaker 6: That's right, there was an Ostrich cop and I'm didn't clear.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Per the law, but that would be the result of
- 20:04Speaker 5: not giving information. So from that ostrichievement where.
- 20:09Speaker 6: His contacts were, who sent him there, and that's withholding
- 20:15Speaker 6: and that's on the Ostrich.
- 20:16Speaker 5: That's right, that's right. But no, but I do feel bad,
- 20:19Speaker 5: as we all do.
- 20:20Speaker 6: We're obviously animal lovers, or we wouldn't have gotten into
- 20:23Speaker 6: this lovers Bird of Paradise.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Yeah, literally, mushroom lovers.
- 20:28Speaker 6: You had that spiritual experience with a fungus colony in South.
- 20:33Speaker 12: America, I was was laying down so long to capture
- 20:39Speaker 12: in Amazonian river water that a colony of fungus grew
- 20:43Speaker 12: above me, around me and into me and I.
- 20:49Speaker 7: In the middle of your story. Sure, fungus is going
- 20:51Speaker 7: to come after us, all continue, I tell you.
- 20:55Speaker 8: It's something to look upful for sure.
- 20:57Speaker 2: They told me a lot of stuff to keep an
- 20:59Speaker 2: eye out for. I've seen there next twenty years in
- 21:01Speaker 2: a glance. They gave me a quick go through what
- 21:03Speaker 2: they're about to do when they entered you. Yeah, they said,
- 21:05Speaker 2: here's it. Basically was a keynote presentation of what's coming
- 21:08Speaker 2: from you. Gave me the rundown. It was like a launch,
- 21:12Speaker 2: like a product launch, Like we are a fungus and
- 21:13Speaker 2: in ten years we're gonna do This's just.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Big Hollywood, you know It's Once Last of Us came out,
- 21:19Speaker 3: it was like fungus got all excited.
- 21:21Speaker 10: This is what we can do.
- 21:23Speaker 4: We're so proud of the success of the Last of Us.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, we really shouldn't have let our TVs like so
- 21:30Speaker 1: close to the windows at times, because I think it
- 21:33Speaker 1: let the mushrooms see then they got ideas.
- 21:35Speaker 5: I think I so rudely interrupted you. What were you saying.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I was just saying that I saw some incredible things
- 21:41Speaker 2: when they when they took me over, and I feel
- 21:44Speaker 2: like I learn a lot more about life when I'm
- 21:47Speaker 2: out there with these animals.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Have you guys learned about your own lives from these animals?
- 21:51Speaker 4: You can't? Oh?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I know when we went to this
- 21:58Speaker 1: hair of desert and we saw these two camels in
- 22:03Speaker 1: a mating ritual, yeah, and one camel was super into it,
- 22:09Speaker 1: super like, let's do it, and the other camel was
- 22:12Speaker 1: not so keen.
- 22:13Speaker 8: And it made me realize I was in a.
- 22:15Speaker 5: One sided marriage.
- 22:18Speaker 1: And it kind of taught me like, oh, maybe I'm
- 22:21Speaker 1: the one putting in all the work and she sort
- 22:23Speaker 1: of like half in half. So I took some steps
- 22:28Speaker 1: and then I went on a divorce moon by myself,
- 22:34Speaker 1: on a cruise Bora Bora to Canada to Alaska to
- 22:39Speaker 1: cap It was a six month cruse.
- 22:43Speaker 5: I mean, to be fair, you had to go to
- 22:44Speaker 5: Alaska to drop off the drive.
- 22:46Speaker 4: That's true.
- 22:47Speaker 5: I had to drop off the drive because that's where.
- 22:50Speaker 8: We were, that's where we were shooting next.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And I'm like, you know, I don't want to fly
- 22:54Speaker 1: to Alaska burn so much you know, fuel and whatnot.
- 22:59Speaker 5: But this cruise is headed there.
- 23:00Speaker 4: You know, we spend so much more fuel efficient.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Oh yeah, of course I gotta be, because you're already
- 23:07Speaker 6: on there anyway, send an extra mail plane or something.
- 23:11Speaker 6: The beautiful thing about that is we spend so much
- 23:14Speaker 6: of our time doing for others and being on the
- 23:18Speaker 6: road eight nine, ten months at a stretch for you
- 23:20Speaker 6: to do something for yourself and then still work in
- 23:23Speaker 6: a drive drop, so the whole things are right off.
- 23:25Speaker 6: I mean, I think it's brilliant, of course.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I mean it's all for taxes at the end of
- 23:29Speaker 1: the day. That's something we all should keep in mind.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's kind of fun the stuff we get to write
- 23:33Speaker 1: off actually as animal people. Anytime I go to the zoo,
- 23:39Speaker 1: that's for work. Baby to the zoo. Different at the
- 23:49Speaker 1: zoo and the rainforest cafe right off, I will say,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I will.
- 23:56Speaker 6: Say a couple of times in your location scout binders,
- 24:00Speaker 6: you have pitched zoos and rainforest cafes as location guilty.
- 24:04Speaker 5: I love going there. Wish we could shoot it.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Sometimes I go there, I'm like, there's stuff we could
- 24:10Speaker 1: get here, which just I know how hard you work,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, seeing you complaining all the time, stuck up
- 24:16Speaker 1: with one camera. But the zoos they're right there right,
- 24:20Speaker 1: So we should be just making our lives easier at times,
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't you think.
- 24:25Speaker 7: That's as a locations manager, don't understand how loaded that is.
- 24:28Speaker 7: We have to get so many permits, we have to
- 24:30Speaker 7: shut it down on you.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Oh no, it's the purpose perfots every time. And that's
- 24:38Speaker 1: what I'm realizing. That is so annoying.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Listen, but it's frustrating you pitch, you know, those ideas
- 24:43Speaker 2: which I would say for any documentary. Who are just
- 24:45Speaker 2: the dumbest I've ever heard. But you are what I'm
- 24:48Speaker 2: just trying to give you comment here. You are amazing
- 24:52Speaker 2: at talking to local native groups in the Congo in Namibia,
- 24:56Speaker 2: oh yeah, and in Brazil you talk to these tries
- 25:00Speaker 2: that have not allowed anybody.
- 25:02Speaker 5: No contact with humans except for me and you them.
- 25:06Speaker 1: You know, yeah, yeah, we just sort of have an
- 25:09Speaker 1: understanding of like.
- 25:10Speaker 8: This guy is not really after me in any way.
- 25:13Speaker 1: He's not going to try and push any kind of
- 25:15Speaker 1: lifestyle on me, and so we're pretty chill.
- 25:17Speaker 6: You know.
- 25:18Speaker 2: We filmed the crabs and Sentina Island, which many people
- 25:21Speaker 2: know is a no contact yeah, that does not allow people.
- 25:24Speaker 4: You got something. They let a few people go, Yeah,
- 25:30Speaker 4: let us go. Who did they? How did you do that?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Oh?
- 25:33Speaker 5: Well they you know, they had their and rightfleys. So
- 25:37Speaker 5: I get it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: You know, they don't allow anyone on this Island's been
- 25:41Speaker 1: this way for two hundred, three hundred years. You know,
- 25:43Speaker 1: anyone who goes there, it passes away. And that's just
- 25:46Speaker 1: their law and that and we all know that going in.
- 25:49Speaker 1: And I sort of motioned from the boat and I said, hey, yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 1: clock them in though, and they sort of interpreted from
- 26:02Speaker 1: my vibe that I was not going to pose any danger.
- 26:05Speaker 1: So we hung out. We watched the Transformers movies. I
- 26:09Speaker 1: pulled it up on my iPad.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Transformers they have no concept of work.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Horst steps ahead.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Wow, oh no.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But I kept pausing and going like, it's true, don't worry,
- 26:23Speaker 1: don't worry, don't worry, because I know it was a
- 26:25Speaker 1: lot to take in.
- 26:26Speaker 5: But they they they left with some new ideas.
- 26:28Speaker 1: They were kind of scratching their heads, kind of like
- 26:31Speaker 1: kind of convening in some way. And I think they're
- 26:33Speaker 1: going to build a transformer.
- 26:34Speaker 4: It seems not even a car, just straight to transformer.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Straight to Transformer.
- 26:39Speaker 3: They must have just like even the first shot of
- 26:41Speaker 3: that movie. They must have been mind blown.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Movie vehicle. What is a road? What is all of this?
- 26:48Speaker 4: You know it's Very's.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Favorite trip. We've got an auntie. Oh wow, it could
- 26:54Speaker 5: be for the.
- 26:55Speaker 10: Shots besides Miami.
- 26:58Speaker 13: That was besides my me, which was for fun. You guys,
- 27:05Speaker 13: I mean, I mean, we sare We wouldn't say.
- 27:09Speaker 4: You could say it if you want, but it was.
- 27:11Speaker 7: My fucking bachelor party, and I think you guys have
- 27:15Speaker 7: to be honest and say what happened? I mean, I
- 27:17Speaker 7: I was so drunk. I remember I felt I went
- 27:19Speaker 7: to bed that night.
- 27:20Speaker 6: But like what, I'll say it in two words and
- 27:22Speaker 6: you can connect the doll but stuff.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Okay, no, said god, I could could be anything by yourself,
- 27:35Speaker 5: sort of like a joke.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I guess you could say it was in inside of him.
- 27:42Speaker 13: Sure for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Anyway, Okay, So besides Miam, let's talk about your favorite trips,
- 27:51Speaker 7: your favorite besides Tokyo.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Oh no no no no no no no no no
- 27:57Speaker 5: no no.
- 27:58Speaker 8: What happened on this one?
- 28:01Speaker 6: It's easier to talk about what didn't your your it's
- 28:05Speaker 6: like two words questioned sexuality.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Okay, so so but the but what's going on?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Buttu was first you have questions, long conversations in the
- 28:21Speaker 3: late in tonight, late.
- 28:22Speaker 6: In tonight, big time bonding trip for me, life changing.
- 28:27Speaker 6: I will say it's you know, yes, it was awkward
- 28:30Speaker 6: timing with me breaking up with my girlfriend, but it
- 28:33Speaker 6: had nothing to do with it.
- 28:34Speaker 5: I had nothing to do with that.
- 28:36Speaker 4: GS.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I'm nervous to bring up Dallas, yo, your Yeah, maybe
- 28:45Speaker 3: we don't talk about that one.
- 28:46Speaker 5: We were in Dallas for a long time.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, filming the Longhorns, the wild Long.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Holds Long Tiger location, scouted a rodeo.
- 28:58Speaker 7: And we had already minute on the this place is wild,
- 29:04Speaker 7: brought all crazy animals the road.
- 29:07Speaker 5: You really really wish we had Golden for it.
- 29:09Speaker 7: Yeah, you really got us because you're like, there's restrooms here,
- 29:11Speaker 7: and we were like, I need a break, I need
- 29:13Speaker 7: somewhere to like freaking wash my fucking hands.
- 29:16Speaker 2: And yeah, I got to say, my favorite trip we've
- 29:19Speaker 2: ever been on was when we followed and got accepted
- 29:24Speaker 2: into that killer Whale pod, that pod in the Pacific
- 29:29Speaker 2: that went from Greenland, down town.
- 29:34Speaker 5: To the Pacific.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Yah, Pacific over the.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Top and then down to the Pacific.
- 29:39Speaker 10: Yeah, you really helped with that, you know, you were
- 29:42Speaker 10: like really good.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I tried.
- 29:45Speaker 6: I had spent the summer during covid UH teaching myself
- 29:49Speaker 6: for pod dialects.
- 29:52Speaker 4: And I was making bread.
- 29:53Speaker 5: You were, I mean to each his own, you know.
- 29:57Speaker 6: And this is why we're a well balanced team because
- 29:59Speaker 6: also you got a lot of bread on that trip, and.
- 30:01Speaker 5: We would have been otherwise. Yeah, delicious.
- 30:05Speaker 10: The more you go into it, the bed it was.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I am bothered nobody brought any other food, but I'm
- 30:10Speaker 2: glad we had.
- 30:11Speaker 5: The bread was great.
- 30:12Speaker 10: It was great.
- 30:13Speaker 4: It's always neat.
- 30:14Speaker 5: But could you do some of your some of can
- 30:16Speaker 5: you share?
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Of course'd be some introductory phrases if you wanted to.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Say, well, each pod has their own dialect, so you know,
- 30:24Speaker 6: just like you might do like a Southern accent or
- 30:26Speaker 6: something to connote someone who's from Alabama, an Orca from
- 30:31Speaker 6: the Seattle area, San Juan Islands that chain.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Look yey's eyes. If you go somewhere else and what
- 30:46Speaker 5: did you say there?
- 30:48Speaker 1: Hey, they you just kind of pause for a long time.
- 30:54Speaker 10: To get it. Hay from what about how does that
- 30:56Speaker 10: change like when you get further coast.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, the further north.
- 31:00Speaker 6: With an east you go so over the top towards Greenland,
- 31:02Speaker 6: you're gonna drop in a register each time. So you know,
- 31:06Speaker 6: let's say we're approaching the Arctic, you get your.
- 31:23Speaker 4: You can tell that's Arctic because they just sound colder.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Yeah, they're keeping those there.
- 31:30Speaker 5: What's up the differences.
- 31:37Speaker 6: It's a much more casual pot up there because there's
- 31:40Speaker 6: so few of them. They're all intimately connected versus the
- 31:44Speaker 6: more formal dialects. The more south you go, you know,
- 31:46Speaker 6: it spreads out, just like communities. You know, you don't
- 31:49Speaker 6: necessarily have a deep intimate conversation with someone on the
- 31:51Speaker 6: streets of New York, but if you're in your own home,
- 31:54Speaker 6: sure you you casually.
- 31:56Speaker 5: That is so insane.
- 31:58Speaker 7: You did that over the pandemic and we just happened
- 32:00Speaker 7: to be friends with all those wheels and some of
- 32:03Speaker 7: that is so good. I'm so proud of the drone
- 32:05Speaker 7: stuff that we got underwater drone.
- 32:08Speaker 5: I think we should roll some of the clips.
- 32:10Speaker 4: You guys, Okay, I think it's good stuff.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, So this is some of my drone foot
- 32:16Speaker 3: It was above water, it was below water.
- 32:19Speaker 4: It's us just really in the pod.
- 32:21Speaker 3: So let's play all right now.
- 32:31Speaker 6: It's amazing threshold here as a forever friend becoming more
- 32:41Speaker 6: than a friend.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Was an aquarium and long beach we could go to.
- 32:49Speaker 1: You just want to get a little closer, That's what
- 32:51Speaker 1: I loved you.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Well, let's talk about the elephant in the room for
- 32:57Speaker 3: that clip to the post production of what goes in,
- 33:00Speaker 3: because that is we have a narractor, you know, it's
- 33:04Speaker 3: it's voiced by the legendary, you know, absolutely.
- 33:08Speaker 6: The oldest attinborough, the oldest borough.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Absolutely. You know, we don't know who's going to be
- 33:16Speaker 4: voicing over our footage. We never do. That's a decision
- 33:20Speaker 4: they make at the very end.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Whatever company buys our footage, and the Edinburgh is usually
- 33:24Speaker 2: in pretty good hands. There's some people, you know that
- 33:28Speaker 2: have bothered me.
- 33:29Speaker 4: You know.
- 33:29Speaker 2: We did that incredible, incredible documentary about the death of
- 33:35Speaker 2: one elephant on the African planes and they ended up
- 33:39Speaker 2: going with Steve O and that kind of broke my heart.
- 33:42Speaker 3: We have the clip clip when they choose the wrong
- 33:48Speaker 3: voice actor for it.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Okay here it is.
- 33:51Speaker 14: Play's weird that always bringing nigh and dog oh no
- 34:00Speaker 14: turns out these bird.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Liver that's crazy. I'm anybody making me I'm fucking thirsty dog.
- 34:15Speaker 10: Okay, what was the high pitched thing on.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Birds? I think it was birds?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa There, partner, I know
- 34:36Speaker 1: you're enjoying the episode, but there's something else you might enjoy.
- 34:39Speaker 2: You see these hats that make us look like we
- 34:41Speaker 2: work on set somewhere.
- 34:44Speaker 5: You might like.
- 34:45Speaker 1: These hats if you're a fan of the pod. And
- 34:47Speaker 1: if you're a fan of the pod, you can wear
- 34:49Speaker 1: the pod with merch.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Yes, but cool merch merch. That doesn't tell anyone that
- 34:54Speaker 2: you like the pod except for someone else who likes
- 34:56Speaker 2: the pod. We have shirt and we have hats that
- 34:59Speaker 2: have all diff things on them, like TV shows.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Internet videos, movies.
- 35:04Speaker 4: This one's bagged, so I could send it right to
- 35:07Speaker 4: you if you buy it. You can buy that one.
- 35:09Speaker 4: I'll give you.
- 35:10Speaker 5: There's hat a bag.
- 35:12Speaker 1: You can order it an artist on artists on artists
- 35:13Speaker 1: on artists dot com. And while you're on our website
- 35:16Speaker 1: side our guest book, come on and play some games.
- 35:19Speaker 4: I think we got a watermelon drop on there. Come on,
- 35:23Speaker 4: come on, enjoy the rest of the episode. And give
- 35:26Speaker 4: your friends a kids.
- 35:30Speaker 5: It was really good. Steve O was weird.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Man.
- 35:33Speaker 5: I'm trying to think of other ones that I think
- 35:36Speaker 5: I really enjoyed. I liked Robert Danira good one.
- 35:41Speaker 4: I thought you had such a good vision of Puffins.
- 35:45Speaker 5: The Puffins take it to the clip.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Oh.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:05Speaker 2: They couldn't get him to speak at all. That was
- 36:09Speaker 2: the greatest compliment. He was kind of uh, didn't want to.
- 36:14Speaker 5: I really liked.
- 36:15Speaker 1: I really liked Joe Biden in the Amazon Rainforest conduct. Okay, ready, folks,
- 36:27Speaker 1: you're an a condaa, Folks. It's Anana Conda half around
- 36:33Speaker 1: this street, folks, Folks, is Ana Conda lost?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Fo we're talking about is?
- 36:40Speaker 5: Come on, Jack, there's an Anna Conda.
- 36:43Speaker 10: It's like a beautiful version of that.
- 36:46Speaker 4: The perfect.
- 36:47Speaker 6: What I like about that is he really brings himself
- 36:50Speaker 6: and we can't forget that we are also a part
- 36:54Speaker 6: of nature. Yeah.
- 36:56Speaker 7: Yeah, I'd also say some of them, some of the
- 36:58Speaker 7: duo ones were crazy crazy some of the there.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Was Christopher Walking and Carrot Tops.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Christ walkam Combo. I've always wanted to see that together.
- 37:13Speaker 3: You wish reptiles reptile slid reptile.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Oh, that's right, Yeah, we found some clip art of
- 37:21Speaker 6: reptiles and shirted a slide.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Saber for Apple.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah, right, let's roll on it.
- 37:29Speaker 7: Oh, look at gosp.
- 37:38Speaker 1: What that.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Carrat top? What do you think? What did I think?
- 37:45Speaker 6: I gotta put my thinking cap on?
- 37:48Speaker 5: Whoa, oh oh, hold on, screw that. It doesn't fit anymore?
- 37:53Speaker 5: Uh uh uh it was take me a snake? Hany
- 37:56Speaker 5: a snake?
- 37:58Speaker 4: Oh yeah, do you like my new slide? Joe? Keep
- 38:02Speaker 4: distracting from.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Slide electric slide. See, I don't think that. I didn't
- 38:08Speaker 5: think that worked on the Animal Kingdom.
- 38:10Speaker 10: I forgot he was.
- 38:14Speaker 5: That was tough to.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Give it to.
- 38:20Speaker 2: That was good at I think that especial because something
- 38:23Speaker 2: about looking at you could tell he almost was beginning
- 38:27Speaker 2: to hear himself for the first time.
- 38:28Speaker 6: Yeah, there's that moment where walking looks like he has
- 38:33Speaker 6: it and then stops mid sentence and says, carrot top,
- 38:37Speaker 6: what do you think? But hadn't really said much? And
- 38:41Speaker 6: then that's where the magic.
- 38:43Speaker 10: It was exactly what chemistry to actually.
- 38:48Speaker 6: And they're great friends now because of that. Yeah, that
- 38:51Speaker 6: was incredible.
- 38:52Speaker 7: Think some of the stuff that that the artistry that's
- 38:56Speaker 7: coming out of Animal documentation is just gone, still evolving,
- 39:01Speaker 7: especially with with drone technology, especially just all of it.
- 39:07Speaker 7: It's so cool. What's your guys favorite like newest thing
- 39:10Speaker 7: we've worked on.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Well, look, I love like you know how drones are
- 39:13Speaker 3: now used to like show off homes for sale or
- 39:16Speaker 3: like hotels you're going to, you know, like they do
- 39:19Speaker 3: these like we did that with the Amazon, like to
- 39:22Speaker 3: show off like what it would be like if you're
- 39:24Speaker 3: living in the Amazon. It's a lot we coordinated it
- 39:27Speaker 3: and like it's really fun, Like you swooped down in
- 39:29Speaker 3: this like the orangu tangs.
- 39:30Speaker 5: Waving sold a lot of land parcels.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Actually yeah, accidentally, yeah, I have accidentally devastated the Amazon.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Fortunate there was a group of people that saw that
- 39:43Speaker 2: and that we want to do that, and that's why
- 39:44Speaker 2: we got that weird gorilla Coldplay music video.
- 39:49Speaker 5: Nature you know, humans are part of the like.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Real that was the thing about the Coldplay one. This
- 39:54Speaker 3: old mo cap and I'm like, I could have gotten
- 39:56Speaker 3: you Gorilla.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Speaking of mocap, that connects to one of my favorite
- 40:00Speaker 6: new pieces of technology. There's a lot of interesting military
- 40:04Speaker 6: tech and a lot of interesting Hollywood tech that I've
- 40:07Speaker 6: been able to Jerry rig into things like the thermal
- 40:10Speaker 6: suits that we use to drop into the volcano in Iceland.
- 40:14Speaker 6: When have you ever gotten to throw a steady cam
- 40:18Speaker 6: around your shoulders and dip into an active volcano before?
- 40:21Speaker 6: Did you ever imagine that that would happen.
- 40:23Speaker 2: No, I've never done that, And to be honest, it
- 40:26Speaker 2: was fucking terrifying, and the camera didn't get anything because
- 40:29Speaker 2: it was covered in magma.
- 40:31Speaker 5: But you got the experience.
- 40:32Speaker 4: But I got it. Yeah.
- 40:34Speaker 8: I thought it was a little fun for you, though,
- 40:36Speaker 8: wasn't it.
- 40:36Speaker 2: I mean it was it was My heart has ever
- 40:39Speaker 2: beaten so fast. I thought I was gonna have a
- 40:40Speaker 2: heart attack. Oh yeah, that's so scary, but it was
- 40:44Speaker 2: very cool. I will say I'm not ungrateful for that experience.
- 40:48Speaker 2: I just don't think there was anything alive in there,
- 40:51Speaker 2: so that's kind of not where I needed to know.
- 40:53Speaker 14: What if there was, If there was, if I captured
- 40:58Speaker 14: a living being in the lava, I would probably take
- 41:01Speaker 14: the suit off and kill myself because that sounds so scary.
- 41:03Speaker 6: And also, I'll pose this question, how do you know
- 41:06Speaker 6: you didn't How do you know life has to have
- 41:09Speaker 6: eyes and fingers?
- 41:11Speaker 5: POV, you're in the lava you're live.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I mean, look, I showed you guys the foot as
- 41:17Speaker 2: you guys said, this looks like a lava lamp.
- 41:19Speaker 4: So this looks just like a lava lamp. So we wanted.
- 41:25Speaker 5: It's a really cool thing that cacs.
- 41:28Speaker 4: May I'm grateful, I'm grateful. Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Can I just say one type of camera advancement that
- 41:36Speaker 2: I'm a little frustrated by. There are some producers that
- 41:42Speaker 2: are forcing me to put face tune on my cameras
- 41:45Speaker 2: to make kind of yasified animals.
- 41:49Speaker 4: It's like beautiful and.
- 41:53Speaker 1: We don't you mention the yap. Don't though for a second.
- 41:56Speaker 1: It's kind of fun, isn't it kind of fun? Doesn't
- 41:59Speaker 1: it show ants to a new generation, these kids, these kids,
- 42:03Speaker 1: this generation Alpha because of side.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Have you ever seen an actual what then? Did you
- 42:10Speaker 6: see the before pick of what an actual ant face
- 42:13Speaker 6: looks like? I'm being serious, Okay, all right, okay, yeah.
- 42:19Speaker 5: I mean, guys, we have to keep up. Sorry, No,
- 42:23Speaker 5: it's okay.
- 42:24Speaker 6: I just wanted to make sure he knew that the
- 42:25Speaker 6: tits and asked were a huge improvement, and we threw
- 42:28Speaker 6: a little thong on it.
- 42:30Speaker 10: Imagine like a smoky tarantula.
- 42:33Speaker 8: Literally.
- 42:35Speaker 5: A little bit.
- 42:36Speaker 1: If I were an animal and I'm being shot, I
- 42:40Speaker 1: mean really crazy, that's really crazy.
- 42:44Speaker 7: We're like, how coo would it be to see that thing?
- 42:47Speaker 7: Rainbow fucking nuts teeth zoom on the teeth.
- 42:56Speaker 1: That's really right, it's quite Uh, it's tough.
- 43:03Speaker 5: God, I'm looking at that and I'm like, I want
- 43:04Speaker 5: to put a love on it. I want to put
- 43:08Speaker 5: a lot it's so.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I really admire how how it hurts you, it pains
- 43:13Speaker 1: you when an animal gets away unloved.
- 43:16Speaker 7: Because I think sounds are an important part of the
- 43:18Speaker 7: storytelling absolutely. I think sometimes we get too caught up
- 43:21Speaker 7: in the visual a'll see it. I think we get
- 43:23Speaker 7: a little caught up in capturing the sunlight at a
- 43:27Speaker 7: perfect angle so we could see the cheetah sweating.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Like cool, but what does that sound like?
- 43:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 43:33Speaker 7: Right, I think it'll help people understand more of the
- 43:37Speaker 7: world if we also know how it cries.
- 43:40Speaker 4: Well, then you should be out there with me. Butch
- 43:43Speaker 4: I've been asking you to come join me.
- 43:44Speaker 2: I sit out there for twelve hours to get that
- 43:46Speaker 2: glistening sweatshot you.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Walk in when you think they're being noisy.
- 43:51Speaker 5: It's an instinct diacic like to follow it.
- 43:54Speaker 7: But also, with all due respect, I don't want to
- 43:56Speaker 7: be with you for twelve hours.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like a freaking more chin.
- 44:00Speaker 5: So you're only happy alone.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Now, I've got an idea for you, you know, because
- 44:04Speaker 1: I'll notice you're pretty unhappy at their alone. Have you
- 44:07Speaker 1: thought about getting a girlfriend bringing her along?
- 44:11Speaker 2: We should talk about this. I think it's inappropriate to
- 44:13Speaker 2: bring plus ones on trips. You guys do it all
- 44:15Speaker 2: the time, boring, Well, it's not.
- 44:17Speaker 4: We're working. You guys are bringing these people. You bring
- 44:20Speaker 4: the flight of the week every single week.
- 44:22Speaker 10: It's it.
- 44:25Speaker 7: But then it always sets khakis off, and the Khakis
- 44:28Speaker 7: call their ex khakis.
- 44:29Speaker 4: I'm so sorry.
- 44:31Speaker 6: You know, life is complex. Life is complicated, and maybe
- 44:35Speaker 6: you're in a phase right now where that's your feeling.
- 44:38Speaker 6: But you know, in three weeks you'll you know, one
- 44:42Speaker 6: more fungus entry and you'll be like, I would like
- 44:45Speaker 6: to have someone here with me while this fungus is
- 44:47Speaker 6: entering me.
- 44:48Speaker 8: Have you thought about going back to the mushrooms asking
- 44:50Speaker 8: them what to do?
- 44:51Speaker 5: Good idea, it's.
- 44:52Speaker 4: A good idea.
- 44:53Speaker 10: They won't talk to me right now, probably because you're
- 44:55Speaker 10: so negative.
- 44:56Speaker 2: They they told me that they did tell me I
- 45:00Speaker 2: need to start sporing more positive vibes.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Well you you you did psychedelics and you kind of
- 45:06Speaker 1: came out still a little grumpy.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Bloody guy.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Won't you even listen to a fucking mushroom? You know, like,
- 45:11Speaker 3: cheer up? What's something that makes you happy? It's like
- 45:14Speaker 3: a sexy animal or something.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Remember that pizza.
- 45:19Speaker 3: That's good you brought up Dallas, Because there is that
- 45:24Speaker 3: pizza you're talking about.
- 45:26Speaker 5: We had that pizza and it was big as a
- 45:27Speaker 5: what big as a exactly.
- 45:31Speaker 6: Big as a whale, and we let you choose the toppings,
- 45:34Speaker 6: and you chose iceberg lettice, iceberg lettice because it was
- 45:39Speaker 6: your birthday.
- 45:41Speaker 5: It was your birthday.
- 45:42Speaker 1: So we had a big Dallas pizza.
- 45:45Speaker 9: An iceberg lett and and that ship.
- 45:50Speaker 5: Was bad and you were so happy. Dude, it was
- 45:53Speaker 5: the happiest can't we get that guy out in the world.
- 45:57Speaker 4: I mean, I can go be positive. I guess did
- 45:59Speaker 4: really bring it down. I thought I was doing the
- 46:01Speaker 4: work because just you know Jane Goodall, you know, she's
- 46:06Speaker 4: like doing the work. R pea an absolutely legend. Day
- 46:12Speaker 4: was upset. You know, she was just documenting that goat.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Really, of all toy, really great girl. Absolutely just bang up.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Gal, and I'll say it.
- 46:25Speaker 7: I don't want to say this on camera because I
- 46:27Speaker 7: don't want to I don't want to get you at
- 46:29Speaker 7: all fired or anything. But sometimes the boom picks up
- 46:35Speaker 7: you're you're mumbling, when you're just cussing over and over, and.
- 46:41Speaker 4: We have a clip that let's play it.
- 46:43Speaker 5: It's a gorgeous clip.
- 46:44Speaker 4: I think gorgeous.
- 46:45Speaker 7: Absolutely, its stunning visual, but then the audio that's just
- 46:49Speaker 7: immediately sinks to it.
- 46:50Speaker 5: You just it ruins it. So the help Forest is
- 46:53Speaker 5: the forest.
- 46:55Speaker 4: This is the leopard seal thwarting that tiger shark, and
- 46:57Speaker 4: the help forest.
- 46:58Speaker 6: And I had big a special strap that strapped you
- 47:02Speaker 6: to the bottom of a giant sea lion and dragged
- 47:08Speaker 6: you through the kelps so that you could be there
- 47:10Speaker 6: front row.
- 47:11Speaker 5: You wouldn't be quiet.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Let's big titty bitch, big titty bitch, fuck big BITCHU.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Function bitty bitty bitty titty, big titty bitch. Peas big
- 47:22Speaker 4: titty bitty tit tit tit, big titty bitch tty bitch.
- 47:30Speaker 3: I think I think really the idea titty bitch.
- 47:34Speaker 8: He really zumed it and he only talks about big titty.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Bitch when he's really really upset.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Well, I have nothing to do with each other.
- 47:43Speaker 10: I think titty and bad words.
- 47:46Speaker 7: That's why I wanted the iceberg let us on the
- 47:47Speaker 7: big beats. It rides them big titties.
- 47:50Speaker 4: That's not it, guys. I just like the taste.
- 47:52Speaker 6: I have seen you eat an iceberg lettuce whole, and
- 47:56Speaker 6: you started by sucking it like.
- 48:00Speaker 11: It do iceberg lettuce, little weird films, those snails.
- 48:06Speaker 2: You guys are saying the stuff to be mean to me.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Think about what you're saying. I know the difference between
- 48:10Speaker 2: iceberg lettuce and a big tit. I know the difference.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Don't say that kind of stuff.
- 48:15Speaker 5: But it's just I'm trying to be a friend.
- 48:17Speaker 4: You are not.
- 48:18Speaker 8: It just kind of looks like you don't know the difference.
- 48:20Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. The way you're suckling on it,
- 48:23Speaker 5: it's there. If we're airing out your ship, we gotta
- 48:26Speaker 5: air it all out.
- 48:27Speaker 7: I know where you send those drones at night, Where
- 48:30Speaker 7: you send them to those those I don't want to say.
- 48:33Speaker 4: It, let's say it nursing homes.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I said you send the drones into the rooms where
- 48:39Speaker 2: you know people are gonna die that night, scam.
- 48:42Speaker 4: Back back a lot. It're gonna die, you.
- 48:46Speaker 10: Know, big drones above you. Now you're awake. I'm saving
- 48:50Speaker 10: fucking lives.
- 48:51Speaker 1: It's weird people giving them five seven extra.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Day capture the moment before they die, that they wake
- 48:58Speaker 3: up back alive.
- 49:01Speaker 5: It's amazing.
- 49:03Speaker 6: I will say, you did it to my gramps and
- 49:06Speaker 6: we were thankful to have the extra time with thank you.
- 49:09Speaker 10: Yeah, thank you.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Let's air out.
- 49:11Speaker 3: If we're airing out everything, you go back to a
- 49:13Speaker 3: lot of your jobs in the animals. Yeah, like when
- 49:16Speaker 3: you went back and with that priest for the snakes.
- 49:20Speaker 1: The snake you taught the snakes religion, and I thought
- 49:24Speaker 1: that was inappropriate.
- 49:25Speaker 5: And I didn't go back because I enjoyed it.
- 49:29Speaker 6: It was because I had a roster of weddings lined up,
- 49:32Speaker 6: and what am I supposed to leave the snakes high
- 49:36Speaker 6: and dry?
- 49:37Speaker 4: It's weird. You're also that moil for that buffalo.
- 49:40Speaker 5: That's right, a lot of buffalo brisses. They're fairly easy.
- 49:45Speaker 5: You can do those with a chainsaw.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, I think it's I think it's inappropriate, inappropriate
- 49:53Speaker 7: the way that you're a notary for ladybugs.
- 49:55Speaker 6: Well, and I think that all animals have rights, and
- 49:59Speaker 6: I fully aady bug needs a notarized document, and humans
- 50:04Speaker 6: going to be species is to not give it to them,
- 50:06Speaker 6: and I need to offer that st.
- 50:07Speaker 10: What about the MLM that you fell into I.
- 50:12Speaker 6: Feel bad about. I did not know it was an
- 50:14Speaker 6: MLM at the time. I'll say that a number one
- 50:17Speaker 6: and number two. I really do still believe in the
- 50:21Speaker 6: product nesting containers that are multi functional, utilitarian kitchen devices.
- 50:28Speaker 5: They can go in the microwave, they can go in
- 50:29Speaker 5: the dishwasher.
- 50:30Speaker 6: They are also you know, think of it as a
- 50:32Speaker 6: Swiss army knife for your home. It's like, it's just
- 50:36Speaker 6: a tough way they did and I felt bad.
- 50:44Speaker 5: Something I can use thebot kitchen. Do you feel bad?
- 50:48Speaker 5: That's that's human. I felt bad. A lot of them
- 50:50Speaker 5: ate it up literally and died.
- 50:53Speaker 6: But I and I want you to know, I did
- 50:55Speaker 6: not benefit from it because none of them got other subscribers.
- 50:59Speaker 4: Well, what about the radio station you run for for
- 51:02Speaker 4: puffer fish? What about it fish? I just don't get it.
- 51:08Speaker 5: We do have a clip of that underneath a beza.
- 51:16Speaker 5: What's good?
- 51:18Speaker 6: Are you ready to puff yourself crazy? We're dropping foam
- 51:23Speaker 6: in the water.
- 51:24Speaker 5: Not not night.
- 51:31Speaker 4: So that's my issue.
- 51:32Speaker 2: This was a bes this is a club and you
- 51:34Speaker 2: played Shaggy Yeah, why the oldie song.
- 51:38Speaker 6: Well, we it's meaningful to us. It's an inside thing
- 51:42Speaker 6: from Singapore and that's all.
- 51:43Speaker 10: Even don't even get me stocked the.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Word poor, poor, just one word.
- 51:49Speaker 4: That one like some sugar singing and poor?
- 51:54Speaker 13: What is it?
- 51:56Speaker 5: Think about it? Read the lines and connect the dots.
- 51:59Speaker 5: Just still defying the release.
- 52:02Speaker 4: What was the other one? Oh?
- 52:02Speaker 5: Yeah, questioning sexuality and Singapore sing and poor. Okay, I'm getting.
- 52:09Speaker 1: It's getting vague by the day, But guys, I want
- 52:12Speaker 1: to know of a question for the table, which is,
- 52:15Speaker 1: what's your white whale?
- 52:17Speaker 5: And by that I mean not a literal wide whale,
- 52:21Speaker 5: But it's fine if it is.
- 52:23Speaker 4: It's shotting a bunch of those.
- 52:24Speaker 5: We've shot a bunch of those.
- 52:26Speaker 1: It's the thing that got away, the shot that got away,
- 52:31Speaker 1: the animal you thought you were going to get, that
- 52:34Speaker 1: was going to get you a pulitzer or an oscar,
- 52:38Speaker 1: and the animal that just slipped on by. I would
- 52:42Speaker 1: say for me, there was a jellyfish. I thought we
- 52:47Speaker 1: were going to get. I thought we were going to
- 52:49Speaker 1: get this jellyfish and it I thought it was going
- 52:53Speaker 1: to perform, and when it went on the camera, it
- 52:57Speaker 1: just didn't really read. Just kind of looked like a bag.
- 53:00Speaker 1: And I thought that was quite unfortunate because it was
- 53:04Speaker 1: a bag.
- 53:06Speaker 5: It did look like one. It did look like.
- 53:17Speaker 8: I think it's a Canadian jellyfish.
- 53:18Speaker 1: If you look back, they have that red and white
- 53:21Speaker 1: marking on them, sort of repeating in a pattern.
- 53:24Speaker 5: Of belief.
- 53:26Speaker 4: And over again.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Talk right. I don't think that's what it was. I
- 53:31Speaker 5: have a I have a white whale, and it's personal.
- 53:34Speaker 6: There is, as you know, a species of spider in
- 53:37Speaker 6: Venezuela called the Venezuelan forgery spider, and they're very elusive
- 53:42Speaker 6: and very hard to track because they make a living
- 53:46Speaker 6: out of posing as other animals and plants. And I
- 53:51Speaker 6: have been engaged in a seventeen year long catch me
- 53:55Speaker 6: if you can chase.
- 53:57Speaker 3: I remember you tell me one time you went deneath
- 54:00Speaker 3: and you're like, this is the fortery spot I had,
- 54:03Speaker 3: and the spot said you're too light, that's right.
- 54:06Speaker 5: And I tried to hire him part of our team,
- 54:11Speaker 5: but he turned it down and.
- 54:13Speaker 10: Once he left, he ran away. And you said, that's
- 54:15Speaker 10: the spider.
- 54:16Speaker 6: I mean, he's been spotted piloting airplanes.
- 54:20Speaker 5: He must be so frustrated.
- 54:21Speaker 6: It's so frustrating, integrated in every aspect of my life
- 54:26Speaker 6: just before I get there.
- 54:28Speaker 5: Dude, that must be literally so frustrating.
- 54:30Speaker 7: I remember that one time you're on dating apps and
- 54:32Speaker 7: you saw you saw yeah, and.
- 54:34Speaker 5: We're scrolling like we're on that plane, and he agreed
- 54:37Speaker 5: to a date. I had him.
- 54:38Speaker 6: I thought that I was cat fishing him, but it
- 54:41Speaker 6: turned out he was cat fishing me.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Yeah, like he swept you off his feet.
- 54:45Speaker 5: That's right.
- 54:46Speaker 7: I have a couple of white wheels and it's just
- 54:48Speaker 7: cards I I deleted, I cleared before dumping them. All
- 54:54Speaker 7: that one card where a penguin sparted and I got that.
- 54:57Speaker 5: I got that, and god, I would have been so
- 55:02Speaker 5: cool the shoul the world. But it's what did it
- 55:04Speaker 5: sound like? Did it sound like?
- 55:07Speaker 4: Not what you think you remember?
- 55:10Speaker 5: Can you impatite it?
- 55:11Speaker 4: Maybe? Yeah?
- 55:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna try like as best I can. And I'm
- 55:14Speaker 7: truly not being entertaining. I'm just doing what I know
- 55:18Speaker 7: is science.
- 55:19Speaker 5: Yeah, not be entertaining.
- 55:27Speaker 6: Literally close to an East coast ORCA that I almost
- 55:33Speaker 6: just automatically.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Was like.
- 55:37Speaker 10: That is because it's saying your.
- 55:40Speaker 7: Other card I dumped that I I wiped without dumping.
- 55:45Speaker 7: Was when on that hawk like just looked at you
- 55:47Speaker 7: and started talking.
- 55:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll never forget that. We deleted that. I really
- 55:57Speaker 5: wish we.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Could see it.
- 55:58Speaker 5: Do you remember what he said to you?
- 56:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a lot of stuff. I think he
- 56:01Speaker 2: thought it was somebody else, so he started talking. It
- 56:09Speaker 2: was like mid conversation, like he'd already picked it up
- 56:11Speaker 2: from somebody else. So he said, like, I tried that
- 56:14Speaker 2: soda by the way. I was like what, oh, and
- 56:16Speaker 2: you know what we're talking about. Remember we were over
- 56:17Speaker 2: in the river and you were doing that thing and
- 56:19Speaker 2: I was like, no, I don't what he remember it?
- 56:21Speaker 4: And the big, big old head I was like what.
- 56:24Speaker 4: Then he flew away.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I never imagined a hawk could say, by the way.
- 56:31Speaker 2: I never I've never ever forgotten that because I always
- 56:35Speaker 2: who was he talking to?
- 56:36Speaker 4: It means there's somebody out there that knows that this
- 56:38Speaker 4: hawk can.
- 56:39Speaker 10: Talk and suggested a soda.
- 56:44Speaker 4: That a hawk.
- 56:45Speaker 1: A guy recommended a soda to a hawk, and the
- 56:48Speaker 1: hawk took it into account and tried it in his
- 56:51Speaker 1: own life.
- 56:52Speaker 4: That's crazy guy, and the guy was not me.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Animals are crazy beautiful, so beautiful.
- 57:00Speaker 4: It's tough to talk about, but I like to talk
- 57:02Speaker 4: about it.
- 57:03Speaker 3: It's orangutang three sixty a yeah, yeah, I want to
- 57:07Speaker 3: do like an orangutang doing a flip.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Weren't fast enough.
- 57:12Speaker 1: You're trying to do a glam bot essentially, like I've set.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Up glam bots for animals, like I want to glambart
- 57:18Speaker 3: like they get so scared.
- 57:21Speaker 10: Yeah, camera every time, every time.
- 57:27Speaker 6: The box of costume pieces might also be threatening because
- 57:31Speaker 6: sometimes you have and things.
- 57:33Speaker 3: They all saw that that sloth be a little awkward
- 57:38Speaker 3: and embarrassing in slow motion, and so now they don't
- 57:41Speaker 3: get anywhere.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Well that's holding that that text buble that said wine o'clock.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Yes, or the one that had the mustache.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Well, the thing is a slow was having trouble because
- 57:50Speaker 3: it's already moving slow. Oh yeah, I can't move fast.
- 57:54Speaker 3: I keep on telling this sloth, you got to move fast.
- 57:56Speaker 3: It's going in slow motion.
- 57:59Speaker 1: You right to fall in some animals. But then some
- 58:02Speaker 1: of those animals had agents who said.
- 58:04Speaker 10: No, no, no, the absolutely not not even risking.
- 58:07Speaker 7: It's talking about animals agents. I think we should that's
- 58:11Speaker 7: something that people. I bet animals in.
- 58:13Speaker 8: The world have developed the concept of an agent.
- 58:16Speaker 9: And that's all say about one species that stepped in
- 58:21Speaker 9: as an agent. And we won't tell you the species.
- 58:25Speaker 5: You can probably put it together. You can put it together.
- 58:29Speaker 5: It would be the one that you would think. It's
- 58:31Speaker 5: the one you're picturing right now.
- 58:34Speaker 4: What's your what dwag? There's this school of manta rays
- 58:38Speaker 4: off the coast of Bolivia. Here we go, here we go.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Okay, all right, will they won't they of our lives?
- 58:45Speaker 4: You guys don't get it.
- 58:47Speaker 2: There's five manta rays and I swear to god I
- 58:51Speaker 2: got a glimpse of them once.
- 58:54Speaker 4: And it looks like all of us. I think we
- 58:59Speaker 4: are the manta rays.
- 59:01Speaker 5: It's just so hard.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Because it wouldn't really be us in this One of
- 59:08Speaker 1: the manta rays was super grumpy.
- 59:11Speaker 4: I'm trying to be nice, guys.
- 59:12Speaker 2: The white whale is the thing that emulates us in
- 59:14Speaker 2: the wild because I love.
- 59:16Speaker 7: Us so you so you can identify the grumpiness in
- 59:19Speaker 7: the manta ray when yourself gave it away.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I don't see him interesting in Drunks and Seth.
- 59:26Speaker 2: One of them is, yeah, one of them is doing
- 59:29Speaker 2: really wild crazy things and butt stuff with the other.
- 59:32Speaker 5: So they're hooking up.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Figure that out. One of them is.
- 59:39Speaker 5: Ever said that we were doing.
- 59:40Speaker 4: One of each other gar Yeah, right.
- 59:51Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 59:52Speaker 2: And one of them is searching for a lost card
- 59:55Speaker 2: mm hmm. And then there's the one that I think
- 59:59Speaker 2: is me kind of a little farther behind, wishing I
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: could be up with you guys, but trying my hard
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: is just to keep up at least because I know
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: that I'm a drag, but at least you're dragging me along.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: You haven't cut the cord, and I appreciate that.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: We'll never cut the cords, right because you're the best
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: at full loss, even though sometimes you complain it's for
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: the best.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Things because we can only fly so free because you're
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: there to hold us down. Yeah, and that's not something
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we take for granted.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: And you really have a good way of quieting us
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: all down when we have to actually shoot, you know,
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: we have to.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: You guys are making these animals as this taper, just
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: like ram the other way.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: I mean, I feel this way about you all. I
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: feel like I sometimes drag.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: Down the team.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: No, no, I mean sometimes I feel like I have
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: to sleep next to my booms. I have to in
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: the way that makes us always have to get extra
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: hotel rooms and stuff. I feel like that's dragging us down,
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: like I'm tracking us no stuff. I'm like, like, what
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: if I hold the drone and fly up with it?
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: But if can I just try it one time like
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: a cat, I just don't do that, Like, I just
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: want just the thought of that you think it's dragging you.
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: Down, it's going to be holding the back case, Like
- 1:01:28Speaker 10: I'll keep on thinking.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: What if I just held on no, because we didn't
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: even know that until just so to be honest, how
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: could it be dragging us down?
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: What if I just what if I just hit the
- 1:01:41Speaker 10: I just left the d one.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: Type as long as I around the topic, I do
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: feel like sometimes I'm dragging out stuff, you know, like
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: times where I tie rigs around everyone's ankles and drag
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: them down a hill so that we can create a
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: landslide that will mimic the mating avalanche of a tornado snake.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: That was an example of when I dragged you.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: All down, and that was a rig that went literally viral. Yeah,
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: it was like a Hollywood rig that people were like, well,
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: and then.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: I dragged you all down because those comments got pretty
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: nasty and a lot.
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: Of you physical dragged first personal account.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: And that, and do you see why I would feel
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: like maybe that I sometimes.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Feel so do you give a one hundred percent every time?
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: And it's really a testament and we really value on
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: the team.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I can say, uh, be vulnerable.
- 1:02:52Speaker 10: You're definitely dragging us down the most.
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: Feel pretty good? Okay, all right, fair enough?
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: Hey, uh this was nice to be honest like this
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: and connect. And I feel like, you know, we give
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: you ship about your MIC's a lot, but I think
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: that I'm feeling the sentiment of your T shirt right.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Now about all of you. We all deserve love.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: You can pick these up at my Tumblr account. We
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: all deserve love. It's I have T shirts and moleskins
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: and you can get.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: You should look into getting a company to make them,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: because I know you buy all those iron ons and
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: you make them yourself with the letters I like.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: I like a little something to do in my hands
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: the long days on set. We should go to the
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: Rainforest coffe. I'll keep telling you.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Why listen, you guys, you have to try this place.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: It's so like a whole rainforest, but at a restaurant.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: It's so beautiful. You just believe me.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: We'll should we all sign off and say goodbye? Luck,
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: We're orcus all together.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: Holy shit, guys, don't move. You see that Spider? How
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: do you know it's him? I can tell, but he
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: just fucking winked at me. Holy ship?
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: We filmed him? Or do we kill him?
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: We do a really good job. And then when we
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: all go backstage with him. Yeah, that's where I don't
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: know what happens when I get him, talk to him,
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: talk to me, talking.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: A lot of him so we can hear him.
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: So finally catched me? Well, junk's on you because I've
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: finally caught you. He sounds like a fucking nerve.

- 1:05:21Speaker 6: got my number.

- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Ban bullying all height when she goes vaudeville bully.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Who's on Spider?
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Well you think this is who I am? Good luck
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: trying to catch me?
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: Now what you kagi? It's in my lo that was
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: reserved for me.
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: Though, artists answered the question. Now, that's why they college
