- 0:20Completely free. Guys.
- 0:21A lot of people I hear this whole time people say dude, the
- 0:26term Aspergers isn't a thing anymore.
- 0:27I'm like look, but let's be frank, People want to know, does
- 0:32a term Asperger still exist? Well, yes, of course.
- 0:34A term will always exist if it's existed once.
- 0:36It always still exists a word. You can't just just disappear a
- 0:39word by saying. That's it.
- 0:41No more word anymore. Okay.
- 0:42So before we get any further, you want to say thank you to
- 0:44today's video sponsor, Brilliant.
- 0:46Now Brilliant is a non prescription homeopathic
- 0:49medication and I use specifically for ADHD, but you
- 0:52can use it mainly for things like anxiety and stress and
- 0:55reduced feelings of restlessness, irritability and
- 0:57impulsivity, which is also a really good bonus.
- 1:00Now the cool thing is that this actually helps increase focus
- 1:03and concentration, which I think is awesome and it's completely
- 1:05like there's no nasties in it. This is non addictive, super
- 1:08supernatural right? So you can get your hands on

- 1:19If you are thinking about taking brilliant, consult your doctor
- 1:22first, just to make sure that everything's kosher.
- 1:24OK guys, let's get on with the video.
- 1:27But the most interesting thing about it is that the term
- 1:30Aspergers isn't used in two of the main diagnostic protocols
- 1:35for diagnosing autism. It used to be used in the DSN
- 1:39and used to be using the IPCI think the other one's called,
- 1:42but both of those took them out, one in 2013, the other in 2019.
- 1:45But since then what we've been left with is a bit of a muddle
- 1:48really. Of everybody who was diagnosed,
- 1:51Asperges still have that diagnosis and still refers to it
- 1:55as Asperger's syndrome. But anyone who is coming up now
- 1:58and would be diagnosed Aspergers and now being diagnosed with
- 2:00waters and spectral disorder, which is the new term that they
- 2:03kind of pushed together for autuminfection disorder.
- 2:05Now the reason they did this, there was no other reason than
- 2:08to help people who had the term Asperges diagnosed gain access
- 2:12to support and help. Where it was criteria is for
- 2:16people who needed the term autism to be on their diagnostic
- 2:18criteria. Now let me said it doesn't mean
- 2:20that anybody who is being diagnosed with Asperges is no
- 2:23longer valid. They're still valid.
- 2:25They still use that term. There's a big who are within the
- 2:27community. I did a big video on this and
- 2:29I'll try and link it down below. Or you can check back to my
- 2:31channel and check for the Asperges series and there's a
- 2:35big Hoover about people saying people getting on each other's
- 2:37nerves and kind of getting a bit, I don't know, we're not
- 2:40uptight but kind of really defensive and very stern and
- 2:42militant about the term Aspergers and the use of it and
- 2:44the reasons why you shouldn't use it.
- 2:46But to answer the question, yes, Aspergers is still a term, but
- 2:49also less people being diagnosed with that term.
- 2:52Now it's normally now just it's only now just waters and special
- 2:55disorder. And I hope and that clears that.
- 2:57If you guys want to share this video because you thought they
- 2:59had good information, please do that and also give this video
- 3:01what you like. Leave a comment if you have one,
- 3:03I'll see you next time. Peace.
