- 0:00Speaker 1: Wake up. Wake up, everybody? Wake up? Yes, all of
- 0:05Speaker 1: you in the back. I see you slumped in your chair.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Wake up. Collision is over.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You know what my mistake was. I should have just
- 0:18Speaker 2: gone live at normal time. That's what I should have done.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I made the mistake of being, oh, well, we'll watch
- 0:22Speaker 2: all three hours. We'll watch all three hours. We'll go
- 0:25Speaker 2: live after eleven o'clock. That was my fault. Dynamite. Tonight
- 0:32Speaker 2: was the go home show. Wressell Dream is coming up
- 0:35Speaker 2: on Saturday, and so this was the final episode, and
- 0:38Speaker 2: that he decided to combine the two shows. So we
- 0:42Speaker 2: had a three hour block of aw tonight? Did I scare?
- 0:49Speaker 2: I woke up your puppies? Is Dan good? Good? Tell
- 0:53Speaker 2: him to wake up? He needs to listen as well.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I mean, he shouldn't be sleeping through this. So what
- 1:00Speaker 2: did we get tonight? We got a lot of promos,
- 1:02Speaker 2: more than we would usually get. We got a lot
- 1:05Speaker 2: of promos in vignettes which I actually thought were fairly strong.
- 1:10Speaker 2: And the John Moxley Darby Allen one in particular, is
- 1:13Speaker 2: one that I actually enjoyed. So that was a noticeable
- 1:17Speaker 2: change we don't always get. You know, a lot of
- 1:20Speaker 2: that here on these shows because it's nice to not
- 1:23Speaker 2: just follow match after match after match, and you know,
- 1:26Speaker 2: break up the monotony a little bit. Kenny Omega continues
- 1:31Speaker 2: to go after everyone except the two people that have
- 1:34Speaker 2: actually laid a beating on him over the last couple
- 1:37Speaker 2: of months, including this gentleman right over here. I will
- 1:41Speaker 2: draw your attention to the corner of the screen here
- 1:44Speaker 2: Donde Esta Andrade. I'm not sure. I'm not sure where
- 1:49Speaker 2: Andrade is. I'm not sure why he is not being
- 1:52Speaker 2: mentioned anymore. I don't think they've set his name over
- 1:55Speaker 2: the last few weeks, even though when he returned to
- 1:57Speaker 2: the company, he put a beating on one of the
- 1:59Speaker 2: top stars in the company. Has not been seen since,
- 2:02Speaker 2: has not been mentioned. It's almost as if it never
- 2:07Speaker 2: even happened. But whether it's androde or whether it's Kyle Fletcher,
- 2:13Speaker 2: Kenny Omega has very interested in going after any of
- 2:16Speaker 2: these people are bringing them up. No. Now, his issue
- 2:19Speaker 2: is with Josh Alexander, because Josh Alexander is the one
- 2:22Speaker 2: who was wrestling Coda Ibushi on Collision last week when
- 2:26Speaker 2: coda Ibushi suffered that unfortunate injury, and so in this
- 2:30Speaker 2: trios match tonight, Kenny Omega was trying to get some revenge,
- 2:34Speaker 2: a measure of revenge here on Josh Alexander, and he
- 2:39Speaker 2: didn't really succeed. He got a little piece of him,
- 2:42Speaker 2: but I guess you know, he'll still have to try
- 2:45Speaker 2: to get his hands on him. Unless next week, of course,
- 2:47Speaker 2: he moves on to a different member of the don
- 2:49Speaker 2: Kallis family, which based on what they've done recently, is
- 2:51Speaker 2: entirely possible. So instead of Fletcher, instead of Andrade, instead
- 2:55Speaker 2: of Alexander, maybe next week, you know, Kenny will be
- 2:58Speaker 2: interested in wrestling Hetcha Sarah perhaps or maybe having a
- 3:02Speaker 2: good battle with Rocky Romero or Lance Archer. I don't know,
- 3:09Speaker 2: I don't care. Why have I even spending my time
- 3:14Speaker 2: talking about that. It is what it is, right, it
- 3:16Speaker 2: is what it is. Look as a go home show,
- 3:19Speaker 2: the Dynamite portion of the festivities tonight, I thought it
- 3:22Speaker 2: was a fairly basic show. It didn't do anything to
- 3:25Speaker 2: really move me. It's one of those shows where you're
- 3:28Speaker 2: either looking forward to wrestle dream or you're not watching
- 3:31Speaker 2: the show, and what you saw here on Dynamite tonight
- 3:34Speaker 2: is not going to change your mind about anything in
- 3:36Speaker 2: the slightest and it was a three hour block, as
- 3:40Speaker 2: I mentioned, and they immediately followed with Collision. I always
- 3:43Speaker 2: love it on HBO Max, which is where I watch
- 3:46Speaker 2: when Dynamite ends, and I remember the first time this happened.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I sat here and it went to the screen kind
- 3:53Speaker 2: of like the stock screen it says the show has ended.
- 3:57Speaker 2: But I just assumed that it would pick up with Collision.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I probably I sat here for a three or four
- 4:01Speaker 2: minutes and I said, wait a minute, I don't think
- 4:03Speaker 2: Collision is coming on until I finally backed out, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: then you have to specifically go find Collision and then
- 4:09Speaker 2: click Collision and then the show starts. So I learned
- 4:12Speaker 2: my lesson there. But when I saw Daniel Garcia and
- 4:18Speaker 2: Wheeler You to come out for the opening match to
- 4:21Speaker 2: open up Collision, it was Orange Cassidy against the two
- 4:27Speaker 2: members of the Death Riders who came out, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 2: by themselves. It was Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Youton. Once
- 4:33Speaker 2: I saw that, that's when really reality set in for
- 4:36Speaker 2: me and I said, shit, I should have set the
- 4:39Speaker 2: start time for this a lot earlier than I did.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And I did sit through that match and the postmatch,
- 4:46Speaker 2: and that was about all I could take. So I
- 4:48Speaker 2: got my notes together, and so here we are. We're
- 4:51Speaker 2: going to talk about Dynamite and then I will run
- 4:53Speaker 2: through my Wrestle Dream predictions. Later on in the stream,
- 4:56Speaker 2: we'll take your questions. We'll get the hell out of here.
- 4:58Speaker 2: This is your aw you Dyedamite review. It is Wednesday,
- 5:02Speaker 2: October fifteenth. We are midway through the month of October
- 5:05Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. I am the solemn monster, Like subscribe
- 5:10Speaker 2: all that good stuff. I know. There's a bunch of
- 5:12Speaker 2: super chats that came in earlier. There's a brand new
- 5:14Speaker 2: eighteen dollars one that I just added, so you can
- 5:17Speaker 2: fight all those in the description down below. Let's just
- 5:21Speaker 2: get right into this show, shall we. We had Renee
- 5:23Speaker 2: Renee Piquette. She conducted a sit down interview backstage with
- 5:28Speaker 2: the two women that are going to be in daw
- 5:31Speaker 2: Women's World Championship match this Saturday at Wressel Dream, the
- 5:35Speaker 2: champion Chris Statlander and Timeless Tony Storm. And Tony removed
- 5:42Speaker 2: her hat and her gloves and so then Statlander tried
- 5:46Speaker 2: to match her by removing some of her clothing. And
- 5:48Speaker 2: I was enjoying this until Renee fucked it all up
- 5:51Speaker 2: and told them basically to stop, and she threw her
- 5:53Speaker 2: jacket down in frustration. So Tony said that she dreams
- 5:58Speaker 2: of regaining the title, says that she doesn't know who
- 6:01Speaker 2: she is without it. But Darling, who are you? She says?
- 6:09Speaker 2: So Statlander said Tony has never been able to figure
- 6:12Speaker 2: her out because she's constantly evolving and is already different
- 6:15Speaker 2: than the person that Tony faced it all out. Tony
- 6:19Speaker 2: said that they've told some ridiculous lies, but at Wrestled
- 6:22Speaker 2: Dream they will find out the truth. And Statlander said
- 6:25Speaker 2: that Storm knows the truth, but she just needs to
- 6:27Speaker 2: accept it. And Tony asked if the interview was over.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Renee confirmed that in fact, it was, and Tony told
- 6:34Speaker 2: Statlander to meet her in the ring. And so the
- 6:37Speaker 2: two of them made their way out to the ring
- 6:40Speaker 2: and they squared up and they start going at it,
- 6:43Speaker 2: and for some reason, the referees didn't come out. They
- 6:47Speaker 2: didn't send out the security geeks like we see this
- 6:49Speaker 2: every week. I mean, if somebody sneezes the wrong way
- 6:52Speaker 2: in the ring, right, they get swarmed, and evidently they
- 6:56Speaker 2: didn't care, so they let them just do their thing
- 6:58Speaker 2: and they're brawling here in the ring, and Tony ends
- 7:01Speaker 2: up on her knees and she put her hands behind
- 7:04Speaker 2: her back and she was inviting Statlander to hit her
- 7:06Speaker 2: with the aw Women's World Championship. Statlander declined, so Tony
- 7:11Speaker 2: worked her over and then eventually ended up with the belt.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Statlander dropped to her knees and she was giving her
- 7:17Speaker 2: body up to her, letting her hit her with the
- 7:20Speaker 2: championship if she wanted to, and she teased that she
- 7:24Speaker 2: was gonna do it, but instead Tony kissed her on
- 7:26Speaker 2: the forehead and then she at that point exited the ring.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I am the learning Tree, thanks guys, Thank you Brandon
- 7:41Speaker 2: for the spooky learning Tree. Only a few more weeks
- 7:46Speaker 2: and then Pumpkinhead goes away, Thank you Brandon. Well, I
- 7:50Speaker 2: mean that was different at least it was certainly a
- 7:52Speaker 2: different way to open the show than we normally get
- 7:55Speaker 2: here on these Dynamite shows. Again, weird that nobody tried
- 7:59Speaker 2: to break them up, but they had the most respectful
- 8:01Speaker 2: for all that you will ever see. I am looking
- 8:04Speaker 2: forward to the match. I as much as I enjoyed
- 8:07Speaker 2: the four way where she won the championship. I do
- 8:11Speaker 2: want to see them have a straight up one on
- 8:13Speaker 2: one match. Obviously, I think it would be a mistake
- 8:16Speaker 2: to just put the belt back on Tony, but that
- 8:18Speaker 2: is a match I'm looking forward to. On the cart
- 8:20Speaker 2: on Saturday now, Jack Perry was backstage and he was
- 8:25Speaker 2: shaving a block of wood down with his knife. He
- 8:28Speaker 2: said he doesn't hate the young Bucks. He actually loves them,
- 8:31Speaker 2: and he will always be grateful to them for everything
- 8:33Speaker 2: they've done for him. But when he needed them the most,
- 8:36Speaker 2: they didn't pick up the phone to call him, and
- 8:38Speaker 2: they didn't have his back. So he said he had
- 8:41Speaker 2: to go look deep into his past to find somebody
- 8:43Speaker 2: who would. And at that point, Lucasaurus entered the picture
- 8:46Speaker 2: and he growled at the camera because he doesn't speak
- 8:50Speaker 2: because he's a dinosaur. We have the Hurt Syndicate Bobby
- 8:56Speaker 2: Lashley and Shelton Benjamin to the Gates of Agony with
- 9:01Speaker 2: Ricochet in their corner in a tag team match. This
- 9:04Speaker 2: is a tag team match as a prelude to the
- 9:07Speaker 2: trios match that we are going to be getting a
- 9:09Speaker 2: wrestled Dream on Saturday. So they did the street fight.
- 9:14Speaker 2: If you remember on that Anniversary episode, they did a
- 9:18Speaker 2: street fight to build to the straight trios match. Okay,
- 9:26Speaker 2: Lashly got worked over during the commercial break, he was
- 9:29Speaker 2: able to hit and overhead belly to belly on Total
- 9:31Speaker 2: Leona for a reset. Benjamin made the hot tag. He
- 9:34Speaker 2: ran wild with some stinger splashes as Ricochet say Bishop
- 9:38Speaker 2: Kahn from a pump knee. He ended up eating one himself.
- 9:42Speaker 2: For his troubles, Bishop got taken to Suplex City until
- 9:46Speaker 2: Total Leona tried to make the say. Benjamin responded though
- 9:49Speaker 2: with a pendulum DDT. Leona no sold it, so the
- 9:54Speaker 2: match broke down Lashly and Total Leona. They each got
- 9:56Speaker 2: a head of steam outside and they collided with clotheslines
- 9:59Speaker 2: and took each other out. Benjamin hit a belly to
- 10:02Speaker 2: belly throw off the top rope on Kahn. Bryce Remsburg.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I didn't even I don't even know how he ended
- 10:07Speaker 2: up with it. But Bryce Remsburg ended up with MVP's
- 10:11Speaker 2: cane for some reason, so he went to go give
- 10:15Speaker 2: it back to him, and that allowed Ricochet to slide
- 10:17Speaker 2: into the ring and hit Benjamin with the spirit gun
- 10:20Speaker 2: and MVP ended up cracking Ricochet with the cane at ringside,
- 10:23Speaker 2: but Kahn crawled over on top of Benjamin and he
- 10:26Speaker 2: pinned Shelton Benjamin to win it for the Gates of Agony,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and this was the first time that the Hurt Syndicate
- 10:37Speaker 2: was pinned in a tag team match, straight up tag
- 10:41Speaker 2: team match, since arriving in aw and it was as
- 10:46Speaker 2: uneventful as it gets. It was almost like literally was
- 10:50Speaker 2: mentioned as like an afterthought when the match was over,
- 10:52Speaker 2: like they threw it out there, and I thought to myself, Oh, okay,
- 10:55Speaker 2: that this should feel like a bigger deal, but it
- 10:58Speaker 2: was just like, nah, it didn't feel it. It didn't
- 11:01Speaker 2: feel special at all. It was just something that happened.
- 11:06Speaker 2: So the match was fine. I'm ready for this to
- 11:09Speaker 2: be over. I am expecting a Cedric Alexander debut as
- 11:13Speaker 2: the newest edition to the Hurt Syndicate this weekend. Cedric
- 11:16Speaker 2: Alexander evidently his contract just expired, possibly this week with TNA.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I believe he was in the Collier Shot Gauntlet that
- 11:26Speaker 2: bound for Glory on Sunday, but unless he signs something new,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I don't believe he's under contract anymore to TNA, which
- 11:35Speaker 2: would make him available theoretically to then link up with
- 11:38Speaker 2: the Hurt Syndicate, which is where I thought he would
- 11:40Speaker 2: end up when he left WWE, and then he didn't.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I do still think ultimately it's his destination, and I'm
- 11:47Speaker 2: just thinking, we get that debut this weekend. But we'll see.
- 11:52Speaker 2: That must have been a hell of a short deal though.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I mean, if his deal is up with TNA, he
- 11:56Speaker 2: just signed and came back in June, you know it's OK.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So not even six months. That's a really short deal.
- 12:08Speaker 2: They aired footage of Darby Allen attacking Jean Moxley at
- 12:13Speaker 2: New York Comic Con. It didn't angle there, and then
- 12:17Speaker 2: they cut to a special vignette that they filmed and
- 12:20Speaker 2: it was Darby earlier today at an undisclosed location. And
- 12:25Speaker 2: this looked like it was filmed at a prison somewhere
- 12:28Speaker 2: because Darby was in this small room like a cell,
- 12:33Speaker 2: but it had a window dividing his room from the
- 12:37Speaker 2: room on the other side. So imagine like if you
- 12:40Speaker 2: were I don't know that any of you have had
- 12:43Speaker 2: to visit someone in jail before, but you see it
- 12:46Speaker 2: on TV and in movie. So we'll use that as
- 12:48Speaker 2: an example. If let's say you had a friend or
- 12:51Speaker 2: a relative right or if you were a lawyer and
- 12:54Speaker 2: your client was incarcerated and you were going to go
- 12:57Speaker 2: speak to them, right the little glass and you pick
- 12:59Speaker 2: up the phone. Right. That's what this basically was. And
- 13:02Speaker 2: so on the other side of the window into that
- 13:04Speaker 2: room looks John Moxley. So you got Moxley on one side,
- 13:09Speaker 2: you get Darby on the other in the adjacent room,
- 13:12Speaker 2: and you know to keep both of them separate. I
- 13:14Speaker 2: guess y know what this was. This was like their
- 13:18Speaker 2: version of the Batman and Joker interrogation scene from The
- 13:22Speaker 2: Dark Knight, only that was much much better. I mean,
- 13:27Speaker 2: that was obviously much more epic. But see, this is
- 13:29Speaker 2: what happens. And I blame Joseph. Shout out to Joseph Stewart.
- 13:32Speaker 2: See this is what happens, Joseph, I got Batman on
- 13:34Speaker 2: the brain. Now I've got Batman on my brain with
- 13:37Speaker 2: all the Batman questions. So Moxley talked about the implications
- 13:42Speaker 2: of their equip match coming up a wrestle dream in Toronto.
- 13:46Speaker 2: There was zero chance, he said, that Darby would ever
- 13:49Speaker 2: put him in a coffin. The game was rigged. This
- 13:52Speaker 2: equip match is rigged in both directions because Moxley knows
- 13:56Speaker 2: that neither one of them are ever going to quit,
- 13:58Speaker 2: So he questions what Darby really wants out of this.
- 14:02Speaker 2: If Darby wants to be on the right side of history,
- 14:05Speaker 2: it's never too late. So Darby said that he wishes
- 14:08Speaker 2: he could, but he can't. He understands the cause. Really,
- 14:11Speaker 2: could you explain it to me? Because we've had conflicting
- 14:15Speaker 2: explanations from the Death Riders themselves over the last year
- 14:18Speaker 2: as to what their purpose is, as to what their
- 14:20Speaker 2: mission statement is. But evidently Darby is well aware of
- 14:24Speaker 2: their cause and what they stand for and what they represent.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Not a day goes by, he says, he actually said
- 14:31Speaker 2: this not a day goes by, that he doesn't think
- 14:34Speaker 2: about joining the Death Riders, but he doesn't respect Moxley
- 14:40Speaker 2: after what he did to Brian Danielson. Why would he
- 14:43Speaker 2: go to war with someone who would stab his brother
- 14:45Speaker 2: in the back? Moxley said, look, I did what I
- 14:49Speaker 2: could for Danielson, but this is a war for the
- 14:52Speaker 2: future of the sport and for their you know, they're
- 14:56Speaker 2: running what is it with these Shield guys? You know
- 14:59Speaker 2: here on this show you've got John Moxley forming his
- 15:02Speaker 2: own faction and coming out every week and talking about
- 15:05Speaker 2: the future of the industry, the future of the company,
- 15:08Speaker 2: the future of the sport. You got Seth Rollins on
- 15:12Speaker 2: the other show, forming his own faction and coming out
- 15:14Speaker 2: and basically doing the same thing. I'm fighting for the future,
- 15:17Speaker 2: right everything is so epic, like this match that you
- 15:19Speaker 2: and I are about to have, Cody, it's a fight
- 15:21Speaker 2: for the future of this company. Like the fuck off?
- 15:24Speaker 2: What is this nonsense? I don't recall like Stone Cold
- 15:28Speaker 2: or The Rock or the Undertaker coming out of television
- 15:31Speaker 2: every week, or John Cito or Randy Orton, even if
- 15:34Speaker 2: you want to use a different error as an example,
- 15:36Speaker 2: and coming out on television and cutting these fucking boring
- 15:38Speaker 2: promos on television every single week, over and over and
- 15:41Speaker 2: over again about the same fucking shit. We gotta save
- 15:45Speaker 2: the future of the company. How about you worry about yourself?
- 15:48Speaker 2: How about that? How about worrying about the here and
- 15:50Speaker 2: now and not fucking five or ten years from now?
- 15:54Speaker 2: What is it with these Shield guys? At least Roman
- 15:57Speaker 2: Reigns doesn't give a fuck about the future. He comes out,
- 15:59Speaker 2: he just cares about himself. I respect that anyway. Moxley
- 16:07Speaker 2: said sacrifices needed to be made. He said, Darby doesn't
- 16:11Speaker 2: know what sacrifice is Yeah, Roman only cares about the
- 16:17Speaker 2: future of his family. Say that's it. He's selfish. He
- 16:21Speaker 2: doesn't give a shit about the future of the industry.
- 16:23Speaker 2: He just cares about his own family. Fuck everybody else.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Darby said that when he reached the summit at Mount
- 16:30Speaker 2: Everest raising the AAW flag, he looked down and he
- 16:36Speaker 2: saw Moxley basically like nipping at his heels, like chipping
- 16:40Speaker 2: away at what makes AW so special, says Darby will
- 16:47Speaker 2: hang that flag in his house so he's reminded every
- 16:50Speaker 2: day at what AAW gives him. But before then, he'll
- 16:54Speaker 2: wrap that flag around Moxley's throat. And Moxley said it
- 16:58Speaker 2: might not mean much to Darby, but he he's never
- 17:00Speaker 2: lied to him before. And regardless regardless of what Kyrie says,
- 17:09Speaker 2: dried chicken, thank you man, what an angry woman. Regardless though,
- 17:21Speaker 2: of what Darby tries to do to harm himself, he's
- 17:23Speaker 2: just fighting ghosts, he's chasing highs. He's trying to prove
- 17:27Speaker 2: to the world that he's indestructible, which is a selfish game.
- 17:32Speaker 2: The biggest difference between the two of them isn't about Moxley.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And then Pack suddenly appears in this little cell that
- 17:39Speaker 2: Darby is in this little room. Pack got in somehow
- 17:43Speaker 2: and he attacks him from behind, and he's throwing Darby
- 17:47Speaker 2: back and forth into the fucking brick wall. He's throwing
- 17:49Speaker 2: him into the glass. We see blood now, Darby's blood
- 17:52Speaker 2: smeared on the glass. Moxley is in the other room
- 17:56Speaker 2: just kind of looking at the wall. He's not even
- 17:57Speaker 2: looking at what's going on. And that was the segment.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Darby slowly collapses into a bloody heap with Pack standing
- 18:05Speaker 2: over him as Moxley gets up and slowly exits the room.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I really like the way that they did this. I
- 18:13Speaker 2: really liked the way that this was shot, you know,
- 18:16Speaker 2: cinematic style. What I didn't like was Darby saying that
- 18:20Speaker 2: I think about joining the Death Riders every day. Like
- 18:23Speaker 2: why that was a stupid thing for him to say
- 18:27Speaker 2: after everything that these guys have done. Oh, I believe
- 18:31Speaker 2: in your call, I know about your cause, or I
- 18:33Speaker 2: believe in your cause. Right? Really, really, these guys have
- 18:37Speaker 2: been going around trying to murder people for over a
- 18:39Speaker 2: year now, putting plastic bags over people's faces. They've been
- 18:42Speaker 2: torturing and tormenting this entire company they held the World
- 18:45Speaker 2: Championship hostage to the point where we didn't even see
- 18:49Speaker 2: the physical belt for nine months. Oh but I think
- 18:55Speaker 2: of joining the Death Riders every single day despite all
- 18:57Speaker 2: of that. What a stupid fucking thing for him to say,
- 19:00Speaker 2: this is supposed to be mister aw over here. These
- 19:04Speaker 2: guys have done everything in their power to try to
- 19:06Speaker 2: make people's lives in this company a living hell and
- 19:09Speaker 2: take over the show. So whatever they were going for
- 19:12Speaker 2: there that I didn't like. And it was never explained
- 19:16Speaker 2: why they ended up in this undisclosed location. They just
- 19:20Speaker 2: showed up there, I guess. I don't know. Maybe through
- 19:23Speaker 2: intermediaries they agreed to meet in a neutral location I suppose.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But you know what, I enjoyed what they tried to
- 19:30Speaker 2: do here. It was better than just throwing them out
- 19:31Speaker 2: in the ring for a normal face to face, So
- 19:34Speaker 2: I actually liked that. I like the way that they
- 19:36Speaker 2: shot this. After this, we had Claudio and Roderick Strong
- 19:42Speaker 2: one on one before the match got going. We had
- 19:47Speaker 2: ex Caliber on commentary, wishing Taz, who was not going
- 19:52Speaker 2: to be on commentary for some time because he had
- 19:54Speaker 2: successful shoulder replacement surgery. Today he had a knee replacement
- 19:59Speaker 2: many months months ago. So now he's got the shoulder done,
- 20:03Speaker 2: so best wishes to Taz. And then he made a
- 20:07Speaker 2: crack about how now maybe he can help out the Mets. Yes, yes,
- 20:13Speaker 2: the laughing stock I guess right, the laughing stock of
- 20:16Speaker 2: Major League Baseball. Everybody has to make fun of the Mets,
- 20:20Speaker 2: but not as much as the Phillies in the NLDS.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I mean, we lost a lot of games, but we
- 20:28Speaker 2: didn't lose any games like that. I'm just saying, So
- 20:32Speaker 2: what did we get here? We got a hard hitting match,
- 20:34Speaker 2: as you would expect with these two. Claudio missed a
- 20:36Speaker 2: boot and he crotched himself over the top rope that
- 20:39Speaker 2: allowed Roderick to charge him with a running boot to
- 20:42Speaker 2: the floor. He delivered a backbreaker onto the led board
- 20:46Speaker 2: outside before heading back in. Claudio blocked a running knee.
- 20:49Speaker 2: He brought Roddy to the corner and he wanted a
- 20:52Speaker 2: gut wrench superplex. Strong, though slipped out and hit a
- 20:55Speaker 2: super backbreaker on the top turn buckle. Roddy was up
- 20:59Speaker 2: for he charged for a running thee. Claudio caught him, though,
- 21:02Speaker 2: propped him up into the air and hit a pop
- 21:05Speaker 2: up upper cut for the win. I mean as a match,
- 21:09Speaker 2: it was it was fine. You know, it was a
- 21:13Speaker 2: fine match. I don't know that this match was needed
- 21:16Speaker 2: on this show because neither of these men have a
- 21:18Speaker 2: match on the pay per view this weekend. So I
- 21:22Speaker 2: don't know why this had to be on this show.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Pretty Much everything else in the first two hours of
- 21:28Speaker 2: the show at least tied into something that's going on
- 21:31Speaker 2: on Saturday now, whether it's AW or WWE. If you
- 21:37Speaker 2: have that final Dynamite or that final SmackDown or that
- 21:41Speaker 2: final raw heading into a pay per view, if you
- 21:44Speaker 2: are going to have something on the show that does
- 21:46Speaker 2: not directly tie into something that's happening on the big
- 21:49Speaker 2: show that weekend, then it should be something significant at least,
- 21:52Speaker 2: you know, that would tie into maybe a story that's
- 21:55Speaker 2: playing out and it'll pick up, you know, next week
- 21:57Speaker 2: on the show. This just was filler. I mean, that's
- 22:01Speaker 2: really I mean, he's fine wrestling match, but so what
- 22:05Speaker 2: you find wrestling matches every week. I don't know why
- 22:08Speaker 2: this had to happen on the show. A few days ago,
- 22:12Speaker 2: see this. I enjoyed this. Actually, I saw this on
- 22:15Speaker 2: their social media a few days ago, and I had
- 22:17Speaker 2: a good laugh at this don Kallus celebrated his birthday
- 22:22Speaker 2: a couple days ago, turned to eighty four years old.
- 22:26Speaker 2: So they shot this video of him walking into I
- 22:31Speaker 2: don't think it was a restaurant wherever they were. He
- 22:33Speaker 2: opens the doors. It's this private rooms, probably the fucking
- 22:37Speaker 2: conference room at the hotel or something, you know, but
- 22:41Speaker 2: they have a table and there's food and wine, and
- 22:45Speaker 2: he's got the members of the don Kallis family who
- 22:48Speaker 2: greet him, actually maybe half the members of the don
- 22:52Speaker 2: Kallis family, because there were a bunch of members who
- 22:54Speaker 2: were missing an action here. There was no Mark Davis,
- 22:59Speaker 2: there was no Androte obviously because nobody seems to know
- 23:03Speaker 2: where he is. And El Clone was not there. We
- 23:07Speaker 2: have not seen El Clone now. I would imagine it
- 23:11Speaker 2: would be difficult for El Clone to drink and eat
- 23:13Speaker 2: through the mask, so I can kind of understand why
- 23:16Speaker 2: he wouldn't be there. And no Kenoski Takeshta, but we
- 23:21Speaker 2: would be hearing from him momentarily. So as Callus walked in,
- 23:24Speaker 2: they all sang for he's a jolly good fellow and
- 23:27Speaker 2: Okatta didn't seem to know the words, but that's okay.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Kyle Fletcher ended up. There was a flat screen on
- 23:33Speaker 2: the wall behind Callous, and so Kyle Fletcher before we
- 23:36Speaker 2: go any further, Kyle Fletcher pulls the little cloth or
- 23:40Speaker 2: tarp or whatever off the TV and we see that
- 23:43Speaker 2: they have a video all queued up, an MLV file,
- 23:50Speaker 2: in fact, video message that Knoski Takeshta, who has been
- 23:54Speaker 2: over in Japan sent in for Don Kallus because he
- 23:57Speaker 2: couldn't be there in person, and he was basically just
- 24:00Speaker 2: talking about how Don has done so much for his
- 24:03Speaker 2: career and now he's going to win the IWGP championship
- 24:07Speaker 2: for Callus and the family, and he hopes he can
- 24:10Speaker 2: make him proud. But before he actually finishes the message,
- 24:13Speaker 2: Okada has the remote in his hand and he pushes
- 24:16Speaker 2: the button and he turns the video off, and everyone's like,
- 24:19Speaker 2: oh what happened? And there all look over at Okada
- 24:23Speaker 2: and Okada just goes, I pressed the wrong button. Not
- 24:29Speaker 2: the first time we've heard that. I'm so sorry. Every
- 24:34Speaker 2: time he says that I can't not laugh. I just can't.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I just can't laugh. And again, the dissension, the jealousy,
- 24:43Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it, the passive aggressiveness that
- 24:46Speaker 2: Okada has towards Takeshta. They're doing the slow burn until
- 24:50Speaker 2: we get the eventual match, hopefully in the Continental Classic,
- 24:53Speaker 2: and we still have some time before we get there.
- 24:56Speaker 2: In fact, they're gonna be challenging as partners for the
- 24:59Speaker 2: tag team shamp Ships this weekend, so we're not getting
- 25:01Speaker 2: to the breakup just yet. But yes, he cuts the
- 25:04Speaker 2: video off with Takesha on its end, the segment that
- 25:07Speaker 2: segues into footage of Takeshta managed by Rocky Romero. That's right,
- 25:11Speaker 2: another member of the Kalus family who was obviously not
- 25:15Speaker 2: present at the Dinners since he was over in Japan
- 25:17Speaker 2: with Takeshta. But Takesha wrestles Zach Saber Junior at the
- 25:22Speaker 2: King of Pro Wrestling event within the last week, and
- 25:26Speaker 2: he is the brand new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, a
- 25:30Speaker 2: champion that we can all be proud of. He is
- 25:33Speaker 2: the top guy in New Japan Pro Wrestling. So he's
- 25:36Speaker 2: bringing the gold home for the Kallis family. Ohcott is
- 25:40Speaker 2: not going to like that. You know. Coat has held
- 25:42Speaker 2: that IWGP belt a few times himself, although the belt,
- 25:46Speaker 2: the actual physical belt V four that he held, was
- 25:50Speaker 2: much nicer looking than the belt they have now. I
- 25:53Speaker 2: don't know why they changed the design to begin with.
- 25:55Speaker 2: They had that belt was honestly the most gorgeous of
- 25:58Speaker 2: all the World Championships Wrestling until they got rid of it,
- 26:02Speaker 2: and I don't hate the new design. It's sort of
- 26:04Speaker 2: grown on me a little bit, but it's nothing like
- 26:07Speaker 2: the previous version. I have no idea why they felt
- 26:09Speaker 2: the need to do that. I guess maybe because they
- 26:12Speaker 2: merged the IWGP and Intercontinental titles and they felt they
- 26:16Speaker 2: needed a new design. I guess, I don't know. Today's
- 26:21Speaker 2: episode is sponsored by Better Help. Life can be tough
- 26:24Speaker 2: for all of us. Therapy has lots of benefits, whether
- 26:27Speaker 2: it's coping with the loss in your life, learning how
- 26:30Speaker 2: to heal broken relationships, or find out things about yourself
- 26:33Speaker 2: that you never even knew about. Better health therapists have
- 26:36Speaker 2: helped over five million people worldwide on their mental health journeys.
- 26:40Speaker 2: That's a lot of lives change for the better. October tenth,
- 26:44Speaker 2: we celebrated World Mental Health Day, but the celebration doesn't
- 26:47Speaker 2: end after just one day. This year, Better Help is
- 26:50Speaker 2: honoring those therapists that helped make the world a better place,
- 26:53Speaker 2: one connection at a time. I've used the platform myself
- 26:57Speaker 2: in the past, although my reasons for doing still seem
- 26:59Speaker 2: trivial by comparison when I think of some of the
- 27:01Speaker 2: more serious issues that people have tried to address through
- 27:04Speaker 2: Better Help. But what I can tell you is that
- 27:06Speaker 2: even for me, I found it to be incredibly helpful
- 27:09Speaker 2: just to have someone to talk to, and I appreciated that,
- 27:12Speaker 2: and if it helped me, I know it can help
- 27:14Speaker 2: you too. Finding the right therapists can be life changing,
- 27:18Speaker 2: and better Help makes that process simple. Better Help does
- 27:21Speaker 2: the initial matching work for you so that you can
- 27:24Speaker 2: focus on your therapy goals. You fill out a short
- 27:27Speaker 2: questionnaire that helps identify your needs and preferences, and their
- 27:30Speaker 2: twelve plus years of experience and industry leading match fulfillment
- 27:34Speaker 2: rate mean that they usually get it right the first time,
- 27:37Speaker 2: but if for any reason you're not happy with your match,
- 27:40Speaker 2: you can switch to a different therapist at any time,
- 27:42Speaker 2: and all Better Help therapists work according to a strict
- 27:45Speaker 2: code of conduct and are fully licensed in the US
- 27:49Speaker 2: and as the world's largest online therapy platform with over
- 27:52Speaker 2: thirty thousand therapists, Better Help has an average rating of
- 27:55Speaker 2: four point nine out of five for a live session
- 27:58Speaker 2: based on more than one point seven million client reviews.
- 28:02Speaker 2: The numbers speak for themselves. This World Mental Health Day,
- 28:06Speaker 2: we're celebrating the therapists who have helped millions of people
- 28:09Speaker 2: take a step forward. If you're ready to find the
- 28:11Speaker 2: right therapist for you, Better Help can help you start

- 28:27Speaker 2: So Kallus was out next to introduce Mark Davis, Josh Alexander,
- 28:34Speaker 2: and Henches Sero for their trios match against Kenny Omega
- 28:40Speaker 2: and Jurassic Express. That is what we had up next.
- 28:45Speaker 2: This was Mark Davis's return to action from the broken
- 28:48Speaker 2: foot that he suffered earlier this year. He actually returned
- 28:51Speaker 2: on collision to attack Coda Ibushi as Ibushi was laying
- 28:56Speaker 2: outside the ring with a broken femur, and Mark Davis
- 29:01Speaker 2: made a very uneventful return. He just showed up in
- 29:03Speaker 2: the midst of all the chaos and started pounding away
- 29:07Speaker 2: on Cody Ibushi until Kenny Omega came out to make
- 29:10Speaker 2: the safe for his friend. Don Callous on commentary said
- 29:14Speaker 2: that he sent a note to Ibushi that in five
- 29:17Speaker 2: years when he recovers, there's a spot waiting for him
- 29:20Speaker 2: in the don Kallis family. And the unfortunate update for
- 29:24Speaker 2: Cody Abushi is that he had successful surgery, but it
- 29:28Speaker 2: will be a year before he recovers, and it will
- 29:31Speaker 2: be two years according to the doctors before he can
- 29:34Speaker 2: get back in the ring and wrestle. So we are
- 29:37Speaker 2: not going to be seeing Cody Abushi for quite some time,
- 29:41Speaker 2: but best wishes to him. So Omega wanted Alexander, he
- 29:46Speaker 2: bolted instantly, having Hetchieso start for the team. There was
- 29:52Speaker 2: a drop toe hold from Hetchiesa. Omega though, went back
- 29:55Speaker 2: the other way and he screamed in pain immediately, so
- 29:59Speaker 2: Hetchestero's zo hooned in on the left leg. Later on
- 30:02Speaker 2: in the match, Omega reluctantly tagged in Jack Perry and
- 30:05Speaker 2: he still didn't and still doesn't fully trust this man.
- 30:10Speaker 2: And this is a story that they've been playing out
- 30:12Speaker 2: over the last couple of weeks. And they'd have a
- 30:15Speaker 2: segment on collision that I did see last week where
- 30:19Speaker 2: Perry confronted him in the back. Omega said that he
- 30:23Speaker 2: was sorry what happened earlier in the night to Ibushi,
- 30:27Speaker 2: but you know, basically trying to smooth things over between
- 30:31Speaker 2: the two of them because they've had some issues in
- 30:34Speaker 2: the past before, and Omega had really no interest at
- 30:38Speaker 2: all in being friendly with Jack Perry. But he said,
- 30:40Speaker 2: you know what, since I have no friends and Jack's
- 30:43Speaker 2: looking to prove to him that he can be trusted,
- 30:46Speaker 2: I'll see you on Dynamite, right. That's what led to
- 30:48Speaker 2: this match here where they're on the same side. So
- 30:51Speaker 2: Omega doesn't really trust this guy all that much, but
- 30:56Speaker 2: he tagged him in and Perry made quick tags with
- 30:59Speaker 2: Lucasaurus Davis tagged in, he launched Perry outside with a
- 31:03Speaker 2: shoulder tackle. They went to commercial, so they come back
- 31:06Speaker 2: to Perry. He's trapped in an ankalogue from Josh Alexander,
- 31:10Speaker 2: and Omega was left pondering whether or not he should
- 31:13Speaker 2: make the tag because Perry was starting to crawl over
- 31:15Speaker 2: and reach for the tag and Omega's on the floor
- 31:17Speaker 2: outside and he's like, eh, but he gets up on
- 31:19Speaker 2: the apron and he does tag back into the match,
- 31:22Speaker 2: really because he wants to get his hands on Alexander,
- 31:26Speaker 2: so he ate a series of sledgehammers until the U
- 31:28Speaker 2: can't escape connects. Alexander, though kicks out a two, so
- 31:34Speaker 2: Josh scrambled out of a Snapdragon into some rolling Germans
- 31:37Speaker 2: of his own. Omega, though was able to hit a
- 31:40Speaker 2: V trigger. Lucasaurus and Mark Davis. They tagged in. The
- 31:43Speaker 2: two big men collided until Hetchiesaro got in. He dropped
- 31:47Speaker 2: Jack Perry with a mad Scientist bomb V trigger from
- 31:50Speaker 2: Omega on Hetchi Saro. Davis was in to drop Omega.
- 31:55Speaker 2: That left Lucasaurus to pop Davis with the huge headbutt,
- 31:59Speaker 2: and Omega wanted a V trigger. Callous, though jumped up
- 32:01Speaker 2: on the apron for the distraction, and that allowed Josh
- 32:04Speaker 2: Alexander to drape Omega throat first on the top rope.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Davis signal for Alariot. Perry, though, shoved Omega out of
- 32:11Speaker 2: the way, and he took the bullet for Kenny Omega
- 32:16Speaker 2: trying to prove to himself. Trying to prove to Kenny
- 32:20Speaker 2: Omega rather that he can be trusted, so he took
- 32:23Speaker 2: the bullet. Davis then caught Omega with a snappile driver. Omega,
- 32:26Speaker 2: though just narrowly kicked out Hetchisaro tagged in to apply
- 32:30Speaker 2: the cross arm breaker, but Lucasaurus grabbed Alexander he choke
- 32:33Speaker 2: slammed him onto Hetchisaro. That's one way to break the hold.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Perry tagged in as Lucasaurus placed Hetchisaro on his shoulders,
- 32:42Speaker 2: and Perry followed with a doomsday device to win the match.
- 32:48Speaker 2: And I'm watching this and I'm like, you know, I
- 32:51Speaker 2: watched Hetchisaro and Bandido have a forty minute match for
- 32:57Speaker 2: the Ring of Honor World Championship when they were in
- 33:00Speaker 2: their residency in Philadelphia at the twenty three hundred Arena
- 33:04Speaker 2: back in mid August, and these guys were throwing everything
- 33:08Speaker 2: at each other and they were kicking out of everything.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And look, I know wrestling is all about suspension of disbelief,
- 33:17Speaker 2: but man, after I watched that match, and now I
- 33:20Speaker 2: watch this and this guy takes a doomsday device from
- 33:24Speaker 2: Jack Perry and gets pinned like just that easily. It's
- 33:31Speaker 2: a hard pill to swallow. And also, you know, it's
- 33:34Speaker 2: a hard pill to swallow just the idea of Jack
- 33:37Speaker 2: Perry doing a doomsday device, not exactly Hawk doing the
- 33:42Speaker 2: doomsday device. But he won the match for his team.
- 33:46Speaker 2: So after the match, the Young Bucks hit the ring.
- 33:48Speaker 2: They laid out Lucasaurus and jungle Jack with super kicks
- 33:53Speaker 2: that left Omega stunned, and the Bucks wanted a Tony
- 33:57Speaker 2: Kahn driver Omega, They'll put a stop to that got
- 34:00Speaker 2: up in their faces until Lucasaurus mowed the Bucks down
- 34:04Speaker 2: with a clothesline. Perry then used his partner to walk
- 34:06Speaker 2: the top rope and he hit a huge moon salt
- 34:09Speaker 2: onto the Bucks in the Kallis family outside the ring. Yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 2: the match was good. I thought it was a fun match.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Omega came into this not trusting Jack Perry, and Jack
- 34:21Speaker 2: did what he could do to try to prove himself
- 34:24Speaker 2: here in this match. So that was kind of the
- 34:27Speaker 2: story coming out of it. The two men though that
- 34:30Speaker 2: attack Kenny Omega. I'm going to keep bringing this up.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I don't understand how when you have a star the
- 34:36Speaker 2: caliber of Kenny Omega and you bring him back and
- 34:40Speaker 2: you shoot an angle where your TNT champion puts him
- 34:44Speaker 2: through a table in such a way that he has
- 34:45Speaker 2: to do a stretcher job. Okay, you know what this
- 34:49Speaker 2: would be the equivalent of this would be the equivalent
- 34:52Speaker 2: of Roman Reigns beating Bronson Reid in Paris, and then
- 34:57Speaker 2: Bronson Reid annihilates him as he did, and as a
- 35:00Speaker 2: stretcher job, as he did, and he disappears for weeks.
- 35:05Speaker 2: And then when Roman Reigns comes back, instead of attacking
- 35:10Speaker 2: Bronson Reid and wanting to go after Bronson Reid, you know,
- 35:13Speaker 2: he goes and picks a fight with JD. McDonough. Wouldn't
- 35:19Speaker 2: really make a lot of sense, would it. You would
- 35:21Speaker 2: go after the person that put you on the shelf.
- 35:25Speaker 2: But then he comes back and he gets attacked by
- 35:27Speaker 2: a completely different person. Now, to be fair, I don't
- 35:30Speaker 2: know what's going on with Andrade. It's entirely possible there
- 35:33Speaker 2: is something legitimately going on behind the scenes that we're
- 35:35Speaker 2: not aware of. I'm not saying he's gone. I'm just
- 35:38Speaker 2: saying maybe there's something going on and they don't want
- 35:41Speaker 2: him mentioned for a reason. But be that as a
- 35:43Speaker 2: may it's just in terms of the story and trying
- 35:48Speaker 2: to be consistent and really, you know, build up that
- 35:51Speaker 2: next big challenger for Omega. It's just very confusing. It's
- 35:56Speaker 2: just very disjointed, and I don't know why it was
- 36:00Speaker 2: that way if you weren't planning on going to Omega
- 36:02Speaker 2: and Fletcher. I just I don't know why they would
- 36:04Speaker 2: have shot that angle in the first place. Now, there
- 36:07Speaker 2: was a report, it might have been from the Observer
- 36:09Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago, that Omega physically is in
- 36:14Speaker 2: such a condition that he doesn't feel confident right now
- 36:18Speaker 2: being able to go in the ring and have like
- 36:19Speaker 2: a balls to the wall match would somebody like a
- 36:22Speaker 2: Kyle Fletcher. So I don't know if that's true or not.
- 36:26Speaker 2: If it's true, I think it speaks to the physical
- 36:28Speaker 2: shape that Kenny Omega is in right now. He must
- 36:31Speaker 2: be hurting if that's the case. But then why do that,
- 36:36Speaker 2: you know, why even do that? Why even go down
- 36:38Speaker 2: that route? Because it looked to me like he was
- 36:41Speaker 2: going to come back and they were going to do
- 36:42Speaker 2: a match maybe at WRESTLEDR, you know, between Kenny Omega
- 36:45Speaker 2: and Kyle Fletcher, and what a rebound win for Fletcher
- 36:50Speaker 2: that would have been coming off the loss the Hangman
- 36:52Speaker 2: Page it all out to come back and beat Kenny Omega.
- 36:56Speaker 2: It would have been big for Kyle Fletcher. It's one
- 36:58Speaker 2: thing for Kyle Fletcher to say I hung with the
- 37:01Speaker 2: world champion for forty minutes. I lost, but I hung
- 37:05Speaker 2: with the champion. Okay, great, but you know what would
- 37:08Speaker 2: be even better putting him in the ring with another
- 37:12Speaker 2: credible name in the company and actually having Kyle Fletcher
- 37:16Speaker 2: go over. And instead they're just doing Kyle Fletcher against
- 37:20Speaker 2: Mark Brisco for the TNT Championship. So maybe eventually they'll
- 37:24Speaker 2: circle back around to it, but in any event, the
- 37:29Speaker 2: Omega booking has just been, I don't know, just very
- 37:33Speaker 2: very weird.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 37:35Speaker 2: On the podcast, I talked about a theory that was
- 37:38Speaker 2: being floated and somebody had sent me a link to
- 37:42Speaker 2: a Reddit post and it was well written and it
- 37:45Speaker 2: made me think about some things that I didn't pick
- 37:47Speaker 2: up on. When we saw Jurassic Express back a Daily's
- 37:51Speaker 2: place when they had their return match, it was that
- 37:53Speaker 2: squash and Jack Perry was acting very heelish in that match,
- 37:58Speaker 2: and even like Bossing or Lucasaurus a little bit, he's
- 38:02Speaker 2: still coming out dressed up as the scapegoat, like nothing
- 38:05Speaker 2: about his appearance or his presentation has really changed. You know,
- 38:09Speaker 2: he's not out there in the fucking loincloth waving his
- 38:12Speaker 2: hands in the air to Tarzan Boy. He's still acting
- 38:17Speaker 2: like heal Jack Perry, you know, with like a wink
- 38:20Speaker 2: and a nod. So I don't know that he really
- 38:23Speaker 2: is back to being a baby face. I mean temporarily
- 38:25Speaker 2: he is, but I think ultimately sort of the mask
- 38:28Speaker 2: will slip and Jack Perry will be revealed as the
- 38:32Speaker 2: same Jack Perry that he's been for the last couple
- 38:34Speaker 2: of years now. Whether or not he brings a Lucasaurus
- 38:36Speaker 2: along or Lucasaurus breaks away from him, I guess time
- 38:41Speaker 2: will tell. But I think there's a story that hasn't
- 38:44Speaker 2: quite been fleshed out yet there with a Jurassic Express
- 38:47Speaker 2: that might be playing itself out slowly. And I do
- 38:51Speaker 2: wonder also a Betty Boushie, you know, and his injury
- 38:54Speaker 2: and how that might affect plans that they perhaps had
- 38:57Speaker 2: for him and Kenny Omega to be a tag team
- 39:00Speaker 2: or My theory is they're going to do a men's
- 39:02Speaker 2: blood and Guts match next month in addition to the
- 39:04Speaker 2: women's and Omega Andy Boushie may have been on the
- 39:07Speaker 2: Babyface team. So with the Boushie out of action, they're
- 39:11Speaker 2: gonna have to come up with a Plan B and
- 39:13Speaker 2: find somebody else to plug into that spot. They didn't
- 39:15Speaker 2: just randomly bring Cody a Boushie back last week. They
- 39:18Speaker 2: brought him back for a reason. You know, whatever that
- 39:20Speaker 2: reason is, whatever his spot would have been, somebody else
- 39:23Speaker 2: now has to step up and take that spot. So
- 39:28Speaker 2: after this, we had Jamie Hater against sky Blue. As
- 39:32Speaker 2: Jamie prepares for her match with Tekla at Wrestle Dream
- 39:36Speaker 2: this weekend. Sky Blue, of course is a member of
- 39:39Speaker 2: the Triangle of Madness, as is Tekla, as is Julia Hart,
- 39:44Speaker 2: who was out there in sky Blue's corner. And you know,
- 39:48Speaker 2: for all the bad blood that has been building for
- 39:52Speaker 2: weeks and weeks and weeks with Jamie Hayter and the
- 39:56Speaker 2: Triangle of Madness, I love how they start this match
- 40:00Speaker 2: and they are trading hammerlocks. Yeah, because nothing says bad
- 40:06Speaker 2: blood like using holds to start this match off. Here anyway,
- 40:11Speaker 2: skipping ahead to late in the match, sky Blue dragged
- 40:14Speaker 2: Jamie to the floor. As she leaped off the apron,
- 40:17Speaker 2: she got caught with a Hater fallaway slam back inside
- 40:21Speaker 2: Haters signal for the end, sky Blue hit a desperation
- 40:25Speaker 2: sliced bread for a near fall. Blue wanted Code Blue,
- 40:30Speaker 2: but Jamie waffled her with a lariat and then a
- 40:33Speaker 2: proper haterade for the wind. After the match was over,
- 40:37Speaker 2: Julia helped sky Blue up the aisle as Jamie celebrated
- 40:41Speaker 2: in the ring until Tecla was shown on the tron
- 40:44Speaker 2: and for the first time, for the first time, not
- 40:48Speaker 2: on social media, not on Collision, for the first time
- 40:51Speaker 2: on Dynamite, we actually heard from and got a full
- 40:55Speaker 2: length promo in the back from Tecla, and she's on
- 41:00Speaker 2: the screen and she said that she's been around the
- 41:02Speaker 2: world and she's not impressed with Jamie Hayter. And she
- 41:06Speaker 2: also finally, oh, this is breaking news here. I gotta
- 41:09Speaker 2: get ready for this. She revealed the reason why she
- 41:13Speaker 2: attacked Jamie Hayter back in May. We never did get
- 41:17Speaker 2: an explanation when she debuted as to why she chose
- 41:19Speaker 2: to go after Jamie Hayter. That was a long time ago.
- 41:24Speaker 2: So she explained why it was because it was because
- 41:31Speaker 2: Jamie just happened to be there. Jamie Hayter was in
- 41:34Speaker 2: the wrong place at the wrong time, just like she
- 41:38Speaker 2: is now. So hey, at least we finally circled back
- 41:42Speaker 2: around to the explanation for why she did what she did.
- 41:46Speaker 2: So Tekla said that her name means chaos and poison
- 41:50Speaker 2: and Saturday will get toxic to the core as she
- 41:53Speaker 2: asks Jamie to impress her. You know, Jamie is the
- 41:59Speaker 2: one who called for Blood and Guts on Collision a
- 42:02Speaker 2: few weeks ago, and these are two women I'm sure
- 42:05Speaker 2: that'll be in it. So it's just a slow crawl
- 42:08Speaker 2: right now until we get there, because Blood and Guts
- 42:10Speaker 2: is not until November twelfth. You know, we're still a
- 42:14Speaker 2: month away, so it's going to be a while. Queen
- 42:18Speaker 2: Ami Nada has been beefing with Tekla for a while now,
- 42:20Speaker 2: and you would expect that she would be in Blood
- 42:23Speaker 2: and Guts and Queen Ami Nada has not wrestled since
- 42:27Speaker 2: the All Out pre show, which was almost a month ago,
- 42:31Speaker 2: and then she dropped a new volog on her YouTube
- 42:33Speaker 2: channel and revealed that she might have a knee injury.
- 42:38Speaker 2: She was at the taping, I think last week, and
- 42:41Speaker 2: she was doing some sort of pre tape or I
- 42:44Speaker 2: don't know, rolling around to the ring whatever it was,
- 42:47Speaker 2: and she tweaked her knee and so she didn't think
- 42:50Speaker 2: anything of it. She went home and apparently the knee
- 42:55Speaker 2: has just kind of gotten worse. It's swelling, so there's
- 42:58Speaker 2: some sort of knee issue. Maybe it's not a major thing,
- 43:01Speaker 2: but it could be major enough that maybe she won't
- 43:04Speaker 2: be a part of Blood and Guts. I don't know,
- 43:07Speaker 2: but she's had this like blood feud going with Tekla
- 43:09Speaker 2: for a few months now, so if she's out of
- 43:12Speaker 2: that Blood and Guts, they'll have to replace her as well.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Rene was backstage with the TBS champion Ultimo Monet, Mercedes Monet.
- 43:24Speaker 2: She put over Mercedes, tying Ultimo Dragon with ten championships
- 43:30Speaker 2: at the same time. She just won her tenth title
- 43:34Speaker 2: in Denmark this past Friday, and they didn't mention this,
- 43:40Speaker 2: but fyi, she also has a match in Winnipeg this
- 43:44Speaker 2: Sunday for Winnipeg Pro Wrestling. She's going to be challenging
- 43:48Speaker 2: Jody Threat for their championship, So get ready for eleven
- 43:53Speaker 2: Belts Monet because you know it's coming this weekend. So
- 43:58Speaker 2: she was and I have to mention this as well.
- 44:02Speaker 2: She's about to break Jade Cargills record as the longest
- 44:05Speaker 2: reigning TBS champion in aw history, and when that happens,
- 44:10Speaker 2: she will be the champion for five hundred and nine days.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Feels a lot longer than that. But yes, the record
- 44:17Speaker 2: is about to fall, and honestly, that's the best thing
- 44:21Speaker 2: that can happen. That is the best thing that we
- 44:23Speaker 2: could ask for, because once the record falls, right, because
- 44:27Speaker 2: she was close enough that you knew that she was
- 44:29Speaker 2: going to break the record. Once the record falls, it
- 44:33Speaker 2: at least makes it plausible that now when she defends
- 44:37Speaker 2: the championship, depending on who it's against, you might actually
- 44:40Speaker 2: buy into the idea that she will actually lose the
- 44:42Speaker 2: championship because there's no more record. She set the record, right,
- 44:46Speaker 2: she doesn't have to worry about anything. She's number one,
- 44:49Speaker 2: she's at the top of the list now, and we
- 44:52Speaker 2: know she's gonna win the AW Women's World Championship. It's
- 44:55Speaker 2: just a matter of when. And I was thinking about this,
- 44:58Speaker 2: she'll win the title next year. I don't know that
- 45:01Speaker 2: she's gonna win the title until we get a little
- 45:02Speaker 2: deeper into twenty twenty six. I could see her winning
- 45:06Speaker 2: that championship, maybe revolution, maybe even double or nothing sometime
- 45:10Speaker 2: around then. Because think about it, she has ten titles
- 45:14Speaker 2: right now, right soon to be eleven. If she was
- 45:18Speaker 2: to challenge for the AW Women's World Championship, she's gonna
- 45:21Speaker 2: have to lose all these titles one by one. If
- 45:25Speaker 2: she was to win the aw Women's World Championship before
- 45:29Speaker 2: she drops all of these titles, Like if I'm Tony Kahn,
- 45:33Speaker 2: I don't want my Women's World Champion to go around
- 45:35Speaker 2: the world losing to you know, ten or eleven different times.
- 45:39Speaker 2: So you would think she's gonna have to drop all
- 45:41Speaker 2: these belts first, and at that point she could go
- 45:45Speaker 2: after the Women's World title and then she'll end up
- 45:47Speaker 2: as the champion because it's inevitable. We know it's gonna happen,
- 45:52Speaker 2: but realistically it can happen until she drops all of
- 45:54Speaker 2: the existing belts that she has. That's gonna take some time,
- 45:58Speaker 2: you know, especially if she's gonna travel back to these
- 46:00Speaker 2: different countries, no go there and drop those titles. It's
- 46:05Speaker 2: going to have to happen over a period of a
- 46:07Speaker 2: few months. But that's that's what I think we're looking
- 46:11Speaker 2: at in the future for her. She also said that
- 46:15Speaker 2: she would be at Wrestle Dream, but they never specified
- 46:19Speaker 2: what she would be doing on the show. You would
- 46:21Speaker 2: think she maybe an open challenge like she did at
- 46:23Speaker 2: Daily's Place, you know, last week, but they didn't say,
- 46:27Speaker 2: maybe she's gonna have a celebration if she's not wrestling.
- 46:31Speaker 2: At the very least, I would expect some sort of
- 46:33Speaker 2: an angle to set up the next challenger, you know,
- 46:35Speaker 2: maybe for full Gear. Today's episode is sponsored by Factor.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Finding time to cook can be tough anytime of year,
- 46:42Speaker 2: but right now the fall has been pretty overwhelming. I mean,
- 46:45Speaker 2: what with all the different shows that I've been producing,
- 46:48Speaker 2: many of them at weird hours House of Glory. We
- 46:50Speaker 2: just had our biggest show of the year this past week,
- 46:53Speaker 2: and on top of all that, the days are getting shorter,
- 46:55Speaker 2: so the thought of taking the time to prepare a

- 49:11Speaker 2: And the Dynamite portion of Tonight's three hour block concluded
- 49:16Speaker 2: with the AW World Champion Hangman Adam Page coming out
- 49:20Speaker 2: to do commentary for the Ops against La Faxione in
- 49:24Speaker 2: Gobernables the team of Rusche Draalistico and the Beast Mortos
- 49:30Speaker 2: and this was for the AW Trios titles. ReHO will
- 49:39Speaker 2: break Money's record when Money goes back to WWA, so
- 49:45Speaker 2: Reho's gonna be champion for five hundred and ten days. Yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think so. There was
- 49:58Speaker 2: an awkward spot. I'm just gonna skip ahead to the
- 50:02Speaker 2: closing moments of this. There was an awkward spot late
- 50:05Speaker 2: where Shebata delivered a basement dropkick to Rushe who was
- 50:10Speaker 2: laying on the apron, and Rushe didn't budge, he didn't move,
- 50:16Speaker 2: So Shabbata got out of the ring and brought him
- 50:18Speaker 2: outside and they were I don't know what they were
- 50:22Speaker 2: trying to do. They were clearly and not on the
- 50:23Speaker 2: same page unless one of them was hurt. It looked
- 50:26Speaker 2: like Rush was trying to communicate something to Shabata, and
- 50:29Speaker 2: then they sort of disappeared off screen to the side.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Hobbs tagged in late and after mowing down Rush and
- 50:37Speaker 2: Morto's with clothes lines, he caught Dr Listico with the
- 50:40Speaker 2: World's Strongest Slam, Big pot for the crowd they were
- 50:43Speaker 2: into Hobbs. Joe tagged in. Joe, of course, is the
- 50:47Speaker 2: number one contender for the aw world title. He tagged in,
- 50:50Speaker 2: and he squashed Dr Listiko with a running sent on
- 50:54Speaker 2: hit the snap power Slam. He wanted a musclebuster mortoas
- 50:58Speaker 2: and Roosh they made the save. Draleisti go leapt off
- 51:01Speaker 2: the middle road right into the clutches of Samoa Joe,
- 51:04Speaker 2: who applied the Coquina clutch and that was it. He
- 51:08Speaker 2: put him to sleep. He didn't tap out, he passed out,
- 51:11Speaker 2: and Joe wins it for his team. After LFI attacked
- 51:15Speaker 2: the ops as Rouche spat on Hangman, who is just
- 51:19Speaker 2: minding his own business doing commentary outside, so he hit
- 51:23Speaker 2: the ring to clean house Dr Leisti Goo and Morteo's
- 51:26Speaker 2: got sent flying Sammy Gavara, who is part of LFI.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Now he pulled Rouche out to safety and avoided a
- 51:33Speaker 2: Buckshot lariot. Joe reached down. He picked up the aw
- 51:37Speaker 2: World Championship and he stared at it and then he
- 51:40Speaker 2: you know, Hangman turned around. Now they've locked eyes, and
- 51:44Speaker 2: Joe shoved the title into his chest. See he should
- 51:48Speaker 2: have done that and dropped it like Hangman did to
- 51:51Speaker 2: him when he handed him the trio's title. That's what
- 51:54Speaker 2: sparked this entire thing. That's how this whole few got started.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Hangman went to hand him his tree and let go,
- 52:01Speaker 2: and Joe wasn't ready and the belt fell to the floor.
- 52:05Speaker 2: You would think that somebody threatens Samoa Joe's family. That's
- 52:09Speaker 2: how angry he got at Hangman. Hangman should have done
- 52:12Speaker 2: the same thing here, right, Joe hands him the title,
- 52:16Speaker 2: He's not quick enough and the belt falls to the floor.
- 52:19Speaker 2: It would have brought things full circle, but he grabbed
- 52:23Speaker 2: the title and Joe left the ring, and that is
- 52:26Speaker 2: how Dynamite ended. The main event was It was fine.
- 52:30Speaker 2: The postmatch though, pretty paint by number stuff. You know,
- 52:33Speaker 2: keep Joe looking strong. You get one last very quick,
- 52:38Speaker 2: inconsequential confrontation here between champion and challenger before the main
- 52:43Speaker 2: event on Saturday. You know, I say main event, but
- 52:46Speaker 2: I'm not even sure this is going to close the show.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I mean, they're really doing more of a job of
- 52:52Speaker 2: building up this I quick match than they are this match.
- 52:55Speaker 2: And in fact, if you go to the AW website
- 52:57Speaker 2: and go to the events tab and click on the
- 53:00Speaker 2: YSSEL dream card, and they have graphics for each match,
- 53:03Speaker 2: the EQUIP match is listed ahead of the World title match,
- 53:06Speaker 2: that's the first match listed, and after that they list
- 53:09Speaker 2: the AW World Title match. So, especially if they have
- 53:13Speaker 2: some kind of big spot plan with fire or something,
- 53:16Speaker 2: I could totally see the EQUIP match closing that show
- 53:18Speaker 2: on Saturday. So now I did watch the beginning of Collision,
- 53:26Speaker 2: my bad. I watched the beginning of Collision in the
- 53:30Speaker 2: third hour, and it was Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly
- 53:35Speaker 2: against Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Uda. I won't bore you
- 53:43Speaker 2: with the details, but John Moxley was shown stalking around
- 53:47Speaker 2: in the crowd midway through this watching his boys, and
- 53:52Speaker 2: they weren't doing so well. Shocker, I know. So we
- 53:56Speaker 2: got the usual death Riders, interference and the usual death writers.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Marina Shaffir took the referee as Garcia was tapping out
- 54:06Speaker 2: pack sprinted out. He attacked Orange Cassidy Claudio blasted Kyleo
- 54:10Speaker 2: with an uppercut before throwing him back inside, and that
- 54:14Speaker 2: allowed Garcia to steal the pin. This crowd could not
- 54:18Speaker 2: give a single solitary shit when Daniel Garcia got the
- 54:22Speaker 2: win here in this match. They could not care. I'm
- 54:27Speaker 2: actually wondering if Garcia is actually worse off now than
- 54:31Speaker 2: he was before, and he wasn't really doing anything before.
- 54:35Speaker 2: But whether or not this is benefiting I guess the
- 54:38Speaker 2: only real benefit is that being part of the top
- 54:40Speaker 2: heel faction, he's at least on TV. I mean, that's
- 54:44Speaker 2: that's the best thing I could say about the position
- 54:46Speaker 2: he's in right now. But after the match, the Death
- 54:50Speaker 2: Riders continued beating down Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly until Roderick
- 54:54Speaker 2: Strong and Tomohiro is she They came out to try
- 55:01Speaker 2: to make the save, and they suffered the same fate,
- 55:04Speaker 2: leaving Moxley alone in the ring with a microphone. When
- 55:08Speaker 2: Darby Allen's music hits. See, they couldn't leave well enough alone.
- 55:13Speaker 2: They should have just left it with the cinematic vignette
- 55:15Speaker 2: earlier in the show in the jail, which I enjoyed.
- 55:19Speaker 2: I actually again, I thought that was well done. If
- 55:22Speaker 2: they would have left it there, that would have been fine.
- 55:24Speaker 2: But we have a third hour, so we have to
- 55:26Speaker 2: stretch things out. So Darby's music hits, and Darby Allen
- 55:31Speaker 2: comes walking out like a fucking zombie, either a zombie
- 55:36Speaker 2: or somebody who just came from the bar on a bender.
- 55:41Speaker 2: That's I mean, literally, how he's walking out, you would
- 55:43Speaker 2: think this man was the undead. This was some sort
- 55:46Speaker 2: of Halloween gag. He's got the makeup too right, It
- 55:49Speaker 2: just it just fits. So he's coming out and like
- 55:54Speaker 2: a total goof. Here comes Claudio. He charges in out
- 55:58Speaker 2: of nowhere in the aisle and just puts him down
- 56:01Speaker 2: and blasts him with an up like a running uppercut.
- 56:04Speaker 2: And down goes Darby, who's still selling this beating from
- 56:07Speaker 2: fucking three hours ago, two hours ago? What actually that
- 56:12Speaker 2: wasn't live, right, what they showed us earlier wasn't live.
- 56:17Speaker 2: I don't believe wasn't meant to be live. So who
- 56:21Speaker 2: knows how many hours ago that thing was filmed? And
- 56:24Speaker 2: we're supposed to believe the Darby But he just made
- 56:26Speaker 2: it to the arena, I guess, and he's been walking
- 56:28Speaker 2: around like this for the last seven hours. Anyway, he
- 56:32Speaker 2: gets knocked down and everyone's beating up on Darby. Pack
- 56:37Speaker 2: comes over. He's kicking his ass, but even after everything
- 56:41Speaker 2: that gets thrown at him, a bloody Darby he raises
- 56:45Speaker 2: his hand up to grab the apron and he pulls
- 56:48Speaker 2: himself into the ring and all the way over to
- 56:53Speaker 2: the feet of John Moxley, and Darby pulls out the
- 56:57Speaker 2: AW flag, the AW logo flag that he brought to
- 57:02Speaker 2: the summit of Mount Everest, and he unravels it, lays
- 57:06Speaker 2: it flat on the mat, at Moxley's feet and he
- 57:09Speaker 2: took the mic and he said it's never too late
- 57:11Speaker 2: John to say I quit, and Moxley instead laid him
- 57:16Speaker 2: out with a death Rider, spiked him down right down
- 57:18Speaker 2: on top of the flag and he left through the crowd,
- 57:22Speaker 2: and that was enough for me. That's that's where I
- 57:25Speaker 2: tapped out here, I'm not watching three hours of this, uh,
- 57:29Speaker 2: with the rest of the matches basically building up the
- 57:31Speaker 2: pre show on Saturday. You know, they had some stuff
- 57:34Speaker 2: with FTR and Jet Speed and I don't give a shit.
- 57:39Speaker 2: You know, they have their tailgate Brawl or whatever the
- 57:41Speaker 2: fuck it is that they call it. There was a
- 57:42Speaker 2: segment by the way I did as I was getting
- 57:44Speaker 2: ready to go live because it was like background noise.
- 57:47Speaker 2: There was a backstage segment with Eddie Kingston, who has
- 57:51Speaker 2: been completely I mean, my god, Eddie Kingston came back
- 57:55Speaker 2: and he's just totally inconsequential on these shows. They brought
- 57:58Speaker 2: him back. He's attacked wrestling now with hook and they
- 58:02Speaker 2: had this backstage segment and they're setting up that they're
- 58:04Speaker 2: going to be at the tailgate Brawl. They're going to
- 58:06Speaker 2: be at the pre show on Saturday. But he's like
- 58:09Speaker 2: in the promo, he's turning to Hook and he's asking him,
- 58:11Speaker 2: what's that thing on on Saturday? Right. I'm assuming they
- 58:16Speaker 2: did this intentionally because Hook is like aloof or whatever.
- 58:19Speaker 2: He's very laid back, But it just came off to
- 58:22Speaker 2: me like Hook forgot the name of the show and
- 58:24Speaker 2: forgot his lines. Like he just looked like a fucking
- 58:26Speaker 2: idiot here this segment. Again, I'm assuming that's the way,
- 58:30Speaker 2: not that Hook is an idiot, but that's the way
- 58:31Speaker 2: it was designed to be. It just didn't come across
- 58:34Speaker 2: really well. But it was almost like Eddie's just like, yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 2: what's that show on Saturday? And hooks. Hook looks at
- 58:43Speaker 2: him and he goes, oh, yeah the Tailgate. Yeah yeah,
- 58:45Speaker 2: we'll be there. Like what was the point of this segment?
- 58:49Speaker 2: They look completely disinterested in what they were talking about here,
- 58:53Speaker 2: like literally like, hey, guys, we need you to do
- 58:55Speaker 2: a quick promo in the back and just plug the
- 58:57Speaker 2: fact that you get to be on the pre show
- 58:59Speaker 2: on Saturday. And he's like, yeah, whatever, I would just
- 59:03Speaker 2: tell me what you want me to say it, I'll
- 59:04Speaker 2: fucking do it, just like totally disinterested, kind of like
- 59:07Speaker 2: I was watching the third hour of this show, and
- 59:10Speaker 2: at that point that was it for me, So not
- 59:13Speaker 2: much else to say about this show. I'm glad it's
- 59:15Speaker 2: over so we could talk about the predictions now. I'm
- 59:18Speaker 2: gonna run through the card real quick and do these
- 59:21Speaker 2: predictions for Wrestle Dream on Saturday. We'll start from the
- 59:25Speaker 2: bottom here. There are two matches. I'm sure maybe the
- 59:29Speaker 2: lad More who the hell knows, but there's two matches.
- 59:32Speaker 2: On the tailgate. FTR is taking on Jet Speed. I've
- 59:36Speaker 2: got FTR winning that. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron are
- 59:39Speaker 2: taking on Megan Bain and Penelope Ford. I know Meghan
- 59:43Speaker 2: Bain got a win in that third hour tonight. I'm
- 59:46Speaker 2: going with Willow and Harley for the win. Then on
- 59:49Speaker 2: the main show, we got the demand Rickochet in the
- 59:52Speaker 2: Gates of Agony in a trios match against Bobby Lashley,
- 59:55Speaker 2: Shelton Benjamin and MVP. And this should be the end
- 59:59Speaker 2: of this feud. I am certain that the Hurt Syndicate
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: is going to win, and I believe that we will
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: get the debut of Cedric Alexander as the newest editions
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: of the Hurt Syndicate TNT Championship on the line. Kyle
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Fletcher defends against Mark Brisco. I'm going with Kyle for
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: the win Jurassic Express against the Young Bucks, five hundred
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: thousand dollars on the line because the Bucks are broke
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: again because Nick Jackson gambled away all of their money,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: and so Tony Kahan was kind enough to add half
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: a million dollars as a purse as the prize money
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: here for this match. At least it makes sense. The
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Bucks are broke and they begged him please put some
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: money on the line here. We need money. We got
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: bills to pay, we got mouths to feed. And I
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: think they will because I think the Young Bucks are
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: going to win the match and they're going to win
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: the money because honestly, what is Jack Perryage and Lucasaurus
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: need five hundred thousand dollars for him? But what would
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: even be the purpose of that? Like when the Bucks
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: won the money the first time, they actually filmed like
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: vignettes and they played into it, and I'm sure they'll
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: do it again if they win the money here in
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: this match. But if it goes the other way, it's like,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: I guess the Bucks are still broke. I guess that's
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: the point, but it's like it's totally pointless. If the
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Bucks don't win this match, then we have the tag
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: team titles on the line. Brodido defend against Okata and
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Takeshta the brand new IWGP champion, teaming up with the
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: unified Champion. I believe they're gonna have more gold because
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: they're gonna win those tag team titles. I'm predicting new
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: tag team champions to be crowned. We have Chris Statlander
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: defending the AW Women's World Championship against timeless Tony Storm.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I've got Statlander retaining the title. We've got the e
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: quip match between Darby Allen and John Moxley. I've got
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Darby Allen winning that one and putting an end to this.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Maybe probably not. If there's a men's blood and guts,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: then this definitely won't be the end for these two.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: And then the AW World Championship Hangman Adam Page defends
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: against Samoa Joe. Should be a good match. Love seeing
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Joe get a title opportunity, total filler match until MJF
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: comes back. Not a chance that Joe walks out with
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: that championship, but it should be good. But Hangman's gonna win.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: And there's your card. That is your Wrestle Dream card.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I will have a full Wrestle Dream review on the
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: podcast on Sunday, So that will be episode nine thirty
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: four of the sound Off, in addition to all the
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: news of the week, seth rollins, and everything else that
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: goes on. That is where you can find my Wrestle
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Dream review. Now we got Josh Carlos ninety eight. Garcia
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: looks like a Gilberg version of Lesner, a Gilberg version
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: of Lesner. He doesn't look like Lesner at all. Brother,
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: I don't know where you're getting that from. You're the
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: only person, I think, on planet Earth who has ever
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: made any sort of comparison between brock Lesner and Daniel Garcia.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I think brock Lesner probably has bigger bowel movements than
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Daniel Garcia. Braley seven, go out of your way to
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: watch Evolve's main event tonight of Kendall Gray and Callie Armstrong.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Those two women are less than two years in and
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: are already great. Was Kendall Gray I haven't watched it yet.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Was Kendall Gray in the Women's Battle Royal on NXT
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: this week? Like when Evolved got rebooted. I saw the
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: first couple of episodes, and Kendall Gray was someone who
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: did impress me. So it's nice to hear that she's
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: progressing because she could be a real star for them.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: But I thought I read that she was in that
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Battle Royal on Tuesday. Uh, Tuxedo t Servo for those
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: not awake yet. Also, my birthday is on Sunday. Well,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: everybody wish Tuxedo t Servo a very happy birthday. My
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: gift to you will be the sound off. I'm giving
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: you the gift of the SoundOff this weekend. Power Spying Games.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Rest in peace, D'Angelo and Diane Keaton. Yes, Diane Keaton
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: was seventy nine years old and DiAngelo is only fifty one,
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: passed away from pancreatic cancer. Brandon Procter since we don't
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: see him on Dynamite anymore, thanks guys. Yes, and I
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: don't think you will be seeing him on Dynamite ever again.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: We got Joaquim. This was the most Amo until storytelling.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I've I don't know what you're trying to say there,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: but I think he's saying the most storytelling that he's
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: seen on aw in a while. I did notice the
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: increase in vignettes and pre tape segments, which I actually
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: think added to the show, especially the Darby segment and
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: the Moxley segment. I did enjoy that, not the one
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: that came in hour three, but the one that came
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: an hour one. Power Spying Games rest in pieces to
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Ian Watkins Peedo because of his sick actions. No one
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: talks about Jeff Hardy's amazing video package from Royal Rumble
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: two thousand and eight. Oh was that the guy? What
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: was that band? Lost Prophets? Right? There was some kind
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: of song they used for Jeff Hardy video. Is that
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: what you're referring to? I did hear about that guy?
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Fry Chicken says. It's a murder mysteries featuring the don
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Callus family. Everybody is partying. All of a sudden, the
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: lights go off, they come back on. Don Callus is
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: laying on the ground dead. You're the detective and you
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: have to determine which member of the don Callus family
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: is the murderer. Andrade maybe that's why he hasn't shown up.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: He committed murder and he had to vanish, so he fled.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: See now it all makes sense. Except Don Kallas is
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: still very much alive. He didn't get the job done.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Ozen Gloria is where's the batman, dude? He's flying around
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: somewhere trying to save Gotham. Where else would he be?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Uh bender mc simpson. Random thing I loved in wrestling
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: when Sting was the world champion in the main event Mafia,
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: but Kurt Angle was technically their leader. God, that reminds
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: me of that match they had. Maybe it was bound
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: for glory, but Sting and Kurt Angle had a match
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: and Kurt Angle was supposed to try to hit Sting
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: with a baseball bat, and Sting was supposed to catch
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: the bat before it hit him in the face, and
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: instead the bat went right through his hands and it
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: hit him hard enough in the face that it made
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: a loud thud. And the look on Kurt Angle's face
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: was just priceless, Like in that moment, he was scared shitless.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: He's like, oh my God, and Sting just no sold
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: it like a badass. He got hit in the face
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: with a bat and he no sold it. And he's
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: poor in blood of course because he got hit in
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: the fucking face with a bat. And then he won
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: the match, But I will never forget the sound that
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: that bat made when it hit him in the head.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Oh god, Oh it's awful. It's just terrible. OZ glorious
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: shout out to Max who is literally carrying almost every
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: boring his fuck talent and aw on his back single handedly. Marina, Claudio, Garcia,
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Yuda and Darby. Yeah, I mean they took all the
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: well not all you forgot packed, but like they took
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: so many uninteresting characters and gave them a purpose I
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: guess by kind of being in this group. But they're
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: no more interesting now than they were before. So if
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: that was the goal, they failed. It gave him something
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: to do, but unfortunately it just guarantees them television time
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: every week, where they haven't really done anything to evolve
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: their characters, so instead they've garanarantee that these boring characters
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: are going to populate our television screens every single week,
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: and they wonder why people are tuning out. I thought
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: the Death Riders we're gonna die coming out of all in,
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: We're going into fucking wrestle dream. They're as strong as ever. Mactubb.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Given the hype and views Punk and Roman generated around
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Survivor series. Do you think they should have had a
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: few or a match for WrestleMania forty one instead of
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: the Triple Thread. I don't think it mattered. I mean
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: they were still in the ring together in the WrestleMania
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: main event. I think that if you're asking me what
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: I think the stronger match would have been to do,
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I agree with you. The stronger match would have been
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Punk and Roman built around the loyalty of Paul Hayman.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Rollin's felt tacked on. So if I was going to
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: book I mean, look, if I'm booking, I'm not booking
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: multiman matches in my WrestleMania Made event to begin with.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: It would have to be a really good match, and
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: that ended up being an excellent match. Don't get me wrong.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: As a general rule, I would prefer a really strong
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: like singles match in the WrestleMania Made event. So I
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: probably would have booked Roman and Punk. You know, next year,
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: I'd love to see Cody in Punk. Yeah, I know,
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Arizona Zombies is now. Darby is teasing joining the Death Riders. Yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: what a dipshit comment that was to make I think
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: about joining the Death Riders every day. If you wanted
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: a sure sign that Darby is suffering from CTE. You
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: got it tonight on this show, Mac Tubbs says, you've
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: said you don't think seen as the goat, but is
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: in the convo, what wrestlers do you clearly rank above him? Oh? Well,
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I mean Hogan, Austin, Hogan Austin easily. I mean they
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: just in so many ways they transcend wrestling. I mean,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: they're so important to wrestling, and Sina was very important
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: to his era. But again, I mean, are you doing
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: like the Mount Rushmore bullshit? I'm so fucking tired of that.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Are we doing the Mount Rushmore thing? Are you doing
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: personal preference? You know, Hogan and Austin for sure. I
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: can't put Rock above Scena because his run wasn't long enough.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: It's tough for me to put Rock above him, even
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: though I I mean especially back then like ninety eight,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: ninety nine, two thousand. I love the Rock back then.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: So I'll just say Hogan and Austin for sure. I
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: don't know where Sina would rank for me, like if
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: I did a Mount Rushmore, He's not on my mine.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: But it's going to be different for everybody. You know,
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: people will judge it based on the business they did,
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: how much money did they make, or how great of
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: a wrestler were they, or how big of a star
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: were they. And he's in Hollywood now, so he's got
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: to be I don't give a shit about that. Yeah,
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: it's a subjective thing, oz and glory is if a
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: solemn monster complains about missing a complains about a missing
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: w complains about a missing something explanation aw talon in
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: the forest and no one is around to hear it,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: does it make a sound hit like yes, hit like
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: hit that like button. We're definitely not doing be the
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: booker tonight. But it's AW. So you know, nobody gives
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: a shit. You don't have to take my word for it.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: Compared to the other streams and it you know right now,
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: nobody gives a shit. So we do the best we can.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: I could only work with what I have to work with.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: It is what it is. This is the state of
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: AW right now. Sometimes on those rare occasions will hit
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: be the booker, But usually you gotta wait for Monday
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: or Friday. I don't know what to tell you. It's
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: up to you, guys. Fabian Garcia. AW could benefit from
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: a year of two to four month world title reigns
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: gives j White, Kingston, Ta, Keshta, even Darby a chance
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: to either solidify them or sink and it'll make the
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: eight to twelve month reigns mean more. Yeah. I'm not
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: advocating for the return of Crash TV, but man, we
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: need to do something about these long fucking title reigns.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Just in general. There's way too many of them. How
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: long have Finn Balor and JD McDonough had those tag
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: team titles and how many defenses have they had during
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: this run? Dry Chicken says, imagine Okada. Instead of turn
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: off the TV, he ends up turning off the lights
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: or the show itself, like Spaceball's Emperor Comet. Stay safe
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: and much love everyone. Thank you, brother Oz, glorious, the
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: ex poles that have Ron SmackDown, TNA and eighty percent
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Yeah TNA. Was I enjoyed that TNA pay per view
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: the other night? And Carlos Galvan We need a a
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Yo soy solo intro for the podcasts and the streams. Well, hey,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: if you get you get to meet Don Kallos at
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: one of these expos then you can get him to
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: do it. I've had people go to these conventions and
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: get shout outs from wrestlers for the solid Monster or
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: as some of them call what did Sergeant Slaughter call me?
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: It's like the solo monster, maggots. It is great. I
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: actually got a jungle Jack shout out many years ago
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: from Jungle Boy. Well, Friday is the next time I
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: will be live with you. Unlike last week, I was
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: not here, but I will be here this week, and
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: so we will talk about SmackDown on Friday night. And
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: as I said, Wrestle Dream is this Saturday. I will
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: not be live, but I will have a full review
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: on the podcast on Sunday. That is the plan. Episode
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: nine thirty four coming up. Go back and check out
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: the Raw Post show from Monday night. We talked a
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: lot about what happened with that show closing angle. There'll
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: be a lot more to talk about, I'm sure on
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: the sound off as we get some more information that
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: comes out. But in terms of you know, the injury
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: situation with Seth Rollins, it's not looking too good. Be well,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: stay safe, have yourselves a great night, and I will
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: see you back soon for more SoundOff. Until then, take care, guys,
