Speaker 1: I think Jeff Brohm is a damn good football coach.
• 0:03
Speaker 1: How do you see it? Luke's he is a really
• 0:05
Speaker 1: good football coach. And I think the thing that people
• 0:07
Speaker 1: don't realize about the Louisville job is while everybody's in
• 0:10
Speaker 1: the red right now in the current state of college athletics,
• 0:15
Speaker 1: Louisville will invest in football. Louisville's got a fantastic football
• 0:19
Speaker 1: operations facility, an indoor facility. They've done renovations for the
• 0:23
Speaker 1: stadium multiple occasions over the last fifteen years. It's a
• 0:27
Speaker 1: good job. The downside of the job is you don't
• 0:30
Speaker 1: have in state talent from a high school recruiting perspective
• 0:34
Speaker 1: to just build your roster without having a cross border,
• 0:38
Speaker 1: they've got to go into other people's backyards. But now
• 0:40
Speaker 1: with the transfer portal, you know that's not as significant
• 0:43
Speaker 1: as it once was. If you recall back when Charlie
• 0:46
Speaker 1: Strong was the coach there, you know, all of those
• 0:48
Speaker 1: guys that they had, particularly on offense, were from South Florida,
• 0:51
Speaker 1: all right, and so including Teddy Bridgewater, and so I
• 0:56
Speaker 1: think that he's really happy there because from a conference
• 0:59
Speaker 1: a field standpoint, they can compete. They've competed from the
• 1:02
Speaker 1: moment they joined it. You know, they haven't been able
• 1:05
Speaker 1: to get into that championship level, you know, compete to
• 1:11
Speaker 1: be in the championship game consistently yet. But I do
• 1:15
Speaker 1: think it's a job that has some patience, which is
• 1:17
Speaker 1: a good thing, and it's a job that does have resources,
• 1:22
Speaker 1: even though you know, it's largely considered a basketball school.
