- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:29Good morning from the Can coop today we are talking about
- 0:32intensity and how you approach things.
- 0:37You know, I have been told many times in my life that I can be,
- 0:40intense that I get into things that I get obsessive, and all of
- 0:46that is true. It is absolutely 100% true.
- 0:50The chickens are a testament to that because for Years,
- 0:56everybody who knew me knew I was like I just want to place where
- 0:58I can have chickens. Soon as I was able to make it
- 1:01happen logistically without getting in trouble by some
- 1:04place, I lived boom we have chickens and I didn't just have,
- 1:08you know, 10 chickens, you think now we have nine babies and 38
- 1:13adults and we still have a chicken sitting on eggs.
- 1:18Well you know, we'll see how that goes but she's a new mom,
- 1:21we'll see how that goes. But anyway, intensity and taking
- 1:25things on the way that I do this is not a new thing.
- 1:30This is very much a part of my identity.
- 1:33It's very much a part of my personality.
- 1:35It's very much a part of my wiring and I have a very strong
- 1:40belief that if you're going to do something what's the point in
- 1:43doing it? If you're not going to go all
- 1:45the way. I just can't fathom taking on
- 1:49something and not doing it all the way if I'm going to do it.
- 1:54I might as well dive into it all the way.
- 1:56Now I understand that for a lot of people this can see seemed
- 2:00like a lot. Someone looks at something and
- 2:01they go. Huh.
- 2:03I don't know why you have to be so OnPoint like all the time
- 2:07with it. I don't know why if you doing
- 2:09something, you have to go into it and 1000%, you know, you go
- 2:12Plant say you're going to plant a garden and it becomes you know
- 2:1550 by 50 or your you know creating this little flower
- 2:18garden and all of a sudden the flower garden is ginormous.
- 2:22It's not about the size of it. It's just about feeling that
- 2:26you're doing it in a complete Manner.
- 2:29And I think that the Left in this.
- 2:31And why I wanted to talk to you guys about this.
- 2:33Today was when you have a passion for something and that
- 2:39passion is part of you, it was has out of you in every
- 2:44capacity. So I have a passion like not
- 2:48just for flowers, or chickens or farming or reading or painting
- 2:54being creative. Know, all of those things are
- 2:56true. But the thing that I really have
- 2:59a passion, Passion for and I really intense passion for is
- 3:03the constant experience of learning and feeling, like, okay
- 3:07I can see something transform, it's the passion of
- 3:10transformation. It's the passion of sitting
- 3:12there and being like excited about watching something, go
- 3:17from next to. Nothing to something.
- 3:19Seeing the vision that was in my head, come into the world and
- 3:24when you're focused like that, I can't begin to express.
- 3:29To you. When you take that on, how
- 3:32exhilarating it is because most of us have a propensity to
- 3:37settle. Most of us have been surrounded
- 3:41by what I refer to as just constant settling the constant
- 3:44never-ending settling of human beings and we don't we don't
- 3:49realize how much that kills us. It's the killer of Dreams, it's
- 3:53the killer Visions, it's the killer of creativity because we
- 3:56don't want to run into the problem and have to deal with
- 3:59the problem. So they Before we surrender,
- 4:00before we even get a chance to start.
- 4:03And it sucks, it really is really sucks thing that got me
- 4:07thinking about this was, I was watching a show called finding
- 4:12floret or growing. I think it's growing floret and
- 4:16it's on Discovery Magnolia Network, and it's all about
- 4:19floret flowers and Aaron and Cris has dream of growing her
- 4:25flower farm into something and what she does and how she does
- 4:29it. And She admitted in last night
- 4:32show that, you know, she knows that she's intense, she knows
- 4:37that she never sits down. She hears comments from people
- 4:40about it, and she's like, but it's okay to be extra, right?
- 4:43Like I'm a little extra, it's okay to be that way, right?
- 4:47And she it was look at it was almost like she was like looking
- 4:49for validation that someone else was saying, hey, you know, she
- 4:54was confessing that this was her identity and I sat there and my
- 4:57eyes actually weld up because I was like I've been in that space
- 5:01so much and people want me to constantly justify that and
- 5:08there is no need to justify it. I've learned over the years.
- 5:11It's my heart went out to her because I'm sure that this is
- 5:16not the first time she's heard it.
- 5:18I'm sure it's not going to be the last time that she has ever
- 5:21experienced that because one of the things that's so crazy about
- 5:24this type of thing, when you have it, when you possess it,
- 5:27when you seek it, is that Everyone else wants to make you
- 5:32feel like you're weird because they're not doing that.
- 5:36So if you're listening to this and you have that propensity and
- 5:40your intense and I don't care if it's about knitting, needle,
- 5:42pointing, you know, writing books, you know, writers are
- 5:46constantly accused of this kind of thing because they get into
- 5:50writing their characters and they go into an alternate
- 5:52universe, and they create this universe and they won't leave
- 5:56their desk. They just sit there and they
- 5:58just know like, oh my God. They're so weird.
- 6:00Writers are weird. No, they're not.
- 6:03They're just passionate. They're intense because of the
- 6:06passion that they possess and for the love of God and all
- 6:11that's holy allowing people to be.
- 6:14That way is what's necessary and understanding that that is a
- 6:18massive gift. And if you are hiding that gift,
- 6:21if you are listening to this and you are hiding that gifted.
- 6:24But in yourself Let It Go, just be yourself.
- 6:28Be that passionate crazy. A person and don't worry about
- 6:32what anybody else thinks because I can promise you.
- 6:34It feels so good on the other side to realize what you're
- 6:38supposed to create. Because in this world, we are
- 6:41co-creating constantly with the universe and God, so go
- 6:45co-create. Be happy and don't be ashamed of
- 6:48it. Don't try to justify it own it
- 6:50and Razzle Dazzle the world with what you have to share, and I
- 6:55promise you're going to feel a hell of a lot better about it
- 6:57than hiding. All right, my friends.
- 6:59I hope you have a very blessed passionate day and I will see
- 7:03you tomorrow. Bye.
- 6:59All right, my friends. I hope you have a very blessed
- 7:01passionate day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 7:04Bye.
