- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi Amber, Hilelah, Welcome to an unlikely affair.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, babes, it.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Is Laala Kent and my girl Amber Childers. Hi baby,
- 0:13Speaker 1: hi baby, welcome to.
- 0:15Speaker 2: An unlikely affair.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm so hyped on Today we have Olivia Pearson and
- 0:19Speaker 1: Natalie Halcrow. For those of you living under a rock,
- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a little rundown of who we have.
- 0:24Speaker 2: So Olivia and do you go by NAT's Nat? Natalie?
- 0:29Speaker 1: Okay, both from Canada. Canada makes the hottest fucking women
- 0:33Speaker 1: by the way, so congratulations on that.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Olivia.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Olivia, you were a styling assistant to an influencer reality
- 0:43Speaker 1: TV personality. She has a passion for health and wellness,
- 0:46Speaker 1: often sharing the routines and practices that support her lifestyle.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I'm giving you a fucking follow after this. Natalie, you
- 0:53Speaker 1: this blew my fucking mind. You helped Instagram launch the
- 0:57Speaker 1: grid layout in twenty twelve.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Please elaborate what does that mean?
- 1:02Speaker 3: I mean, I don't okay, I don't want to actually
- 1:04Speaker 3: taken in talks with Instagram. No, if you know, you
- 1:09Speaker 3: know type sitch, what I would know? Do you want
- 1:12Speaker 3: to say I like posting because I mean you are
- 1:16Speaker 3: so talented, but okay, so you know, when Instagram started
- 1:20Speaker 3: the pretty aesthetic feeds, like when you go to it, it
- 1:23Speaker 3: looks like a magazine. The colors match, nothing's too crazy
- 1:27Speaker 3: or busy or whatever. I will go and said, I
- 1:30Speaker 3: think Natalie, at least not the first, like one of
- 1:33Speaker 3: the first, if not the first, people to do that.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Her eye is just so good. You're aesthetically very talented,
- 1:40Speaker 3: and I think that's why a lot of you know,
- 1:43Speaker 3: but I think that's why a lot of following also
- 1:45Speaker 3: started coming. We were posting our makeup or outfits and
- 1:48Speaker 3: then you were like, let me go one step further
- 1:50Speaker 3: and make it all look pretty on my feed back
- 1:52Speaker 3: in the day, I feel like no one was doing that,
- 1:53Speaker 3: so it was like I feel like even just like
- 1:57Speaker 3: selfies were like a thing where people were like making
- 1:59Speaker 3: fun of you for doing this. I feel no, we didn't,
- 2:02Speaker 3: but I just feel like at the beginning it was
- 2:04Speaker 3: like a just even post a selfie and then to
- 2:06Speaker 3: like list what products are using, Like no one was
- 2:09Speaker 3: doing that. That was like so new, you know, And
- 2:12Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know, I didn't coin myself the
- 2:14Speaker 3: trail Brazer for this, someone else did, well. I did, because.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Which makes it more fabulous though when someone else and
- 2:21Speaker 1: you're not just like the self proclaimed, it's like, oh,
- 2:24Speaker 1: this is like a title that someone.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Else gave me. I'm into it.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You also share digital media, you're both of your instagrams
- 2:32Speaker 1: are gorgeous, and you're a single mama, Yes I am.
- 2:35Speaker 2: And how old is your baby?
- 2:36Speaker 3: She's six six?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so I just have to know, because how long
- 2:41Speaker 1: have you guys been in LA?
- 2:42Speaker 3: For eleven and a half years?
- 2:45Speaker 2: And what did you move to LA to do the first.
- 2:48Speaker 3: TV show we're on called Wegs Reality TV?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so we were both still in Vancouver and how
- 2:57Speaker 3: do we break it down? So it's not so a
- 2:59Speaker 3: long haul. But we had a girlfriend, Nicole, who lived
- 3:01Speaker 3: here and she and her agent were presented the show
- 3:05Speaker 3: and she reached out to Nally and was like, hey,
- 3:09Speaker 3: do you want to do this? And Alie's like, well, yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 3: Olivia is coming too, because we were both in Canada.
- 3:14Speaker 3: So yeah, they were looking for girls that were dating
- 3:17Speaker 3: athletes at the time because I was like wives and
- 3:18Speaker 3: girlfriends the sports stars and so Nicole's boyfriend at the
- 3:22Speaker 3: time was playing on the same team as my boyfriend.
- 3:25Speaker 3: So her agent was like, oh, do you know anyone
- 3:27Speaker 3: else that's like dating an athlete, And so they approached
- 3:30Speaker 3: about the show, and then we were like, I'm like,
- 3:33Speaker 3: I'm never not going without her.
- 3:36Speaker 2: We're packing.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Well, she's single, and I'm like, yeah, I'm not dating
- 3:41Speaker 3: anyone right now. They're like too bad. Two for one. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 3: So that was originally how we first came out to LA.
- 3:49Speaker 3: We like blindly were like, yeah, we're coming.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We're getting a visa because it's not easy.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I don't know if you girls are familiar, but it's not.
- 3:56Speaker 3: And even with having a show and e it wasn't
- 3:59Speaker 3: like the easyest thing you need like network execs to
- 4:01Speaker 3: signed letters and and you get a loader and.
- 4:03Speaker 2: The whole thing.
- 4:05Speaker 3: But we were blindly We always joke like when we
- 4:07Speaker 3: were younger, our manifestation was so much almost better, because
- 4:11Speaker 3: you're almost I don't want to say dumber, but like
- 4:14Speaker 3: the world hasn't.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Hurt you enough. Ye, you're obliviate.
- 4:19Speaker 3: L A and of course you're going to be on
- 4:20Speaker 3: a TV show and get our visas and move there.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Of course. And we had vision boards. Honestly before it
- 4:24Speaker 3: was like the trendy. We put literally like the symbol
- 4:28Speaker 3: in the middle of the board in American money and
- 4:31Speaker 3: like everything that came true, like our mom We showed
- 4:34Speaker 3: our moms and they're like, oh yeah you guys and go.
- 4:36Speaker 2: For it, like.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Totally we're nutstill, like okay, girls, sure, it's before I
- 4:41Speaker 3: g was when we were making the board. So it
- 4:43Speaker 3: was a little like there was like celebrities we cut
- 4:47Speaker 3: their heads off put ours on like it was really yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 3: when no one was really doing that. So our family
- 4:55Speaker 3: was like, I'm like, I write myself and like my kids, if.
- 5:03Speaker 2: You write yourself a check, Yeah, what's the number on
- 5:06Speaker 2: that check?
- 5:06Speaker 4: You know it's a.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Lot here.
- 5:11Speaker 5: And you know what if I have to aim ridiculously
- 5:13Speaker 5: high and I land somewhere between good exactly as you know,
- 5:18Speaker 5: like your life has manifested everything.
- 5:21Speaker 4: It's it's not it's not this weird like let's do
- 5:26Speaker 4: vision boards. It's like there's an energy is listening and
- 5:31Speaker 4: if you put it out there.
- 5:33Speaker 5: It's like when people say like, oh, what if this
- 5:34Speaker 5: doesn't happen and you have to say, well, what if everything?
- 5:37Speaker 3: What is love like? To believe it? And they I mean,
- 5:42Speaker 3: we still have it now, but we weren't like I
- 5:44Speaker 3: look back and go that's what I mean, just like
- 5:46Speaker 3: would both waitresses at a restaurant, we just would tell
- 5:49Speaker 3: peop are working with what we're going to have our
- 5:51Speaker 3: own sho oh yeah, we're gonna be honey, like everybody
- 5:58Speaker 3: like crazy. People have to be delusion.
- 6:00Speaker 2: In this town.
- 6:01Speaker 5: If you stepped into Hollywood, you have you can't just
- 6:03Speaker 5: set your bar so fucking low.
- 6:05Speaker 4: It has to be so outrageous.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Like I originally like people.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Like made fun of us from a small town in
- 6:11Speaker 3: Canada and everyone's like, oh my god, they're sure. Girls
- 6:13Speaker 3: were like yeah, totally like yeah, and we just blindly
- 6:19Speaker 3: I gotta say though, to what it really was just
- 6:23Speaker 3: like a natural feeling like it was trying to moving there.
- 6:29Speaker 3: We're going to be on a show.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Okay, so now you're on WAGS at that point in
- 6:32Speaker 5: your career, How did that transition?
- 6:35Speaker 4: Like was it everything you imagined? Was it harder?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Was it easier?
- 6:39Speaker 4: Like walk me through that.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I think the also good part. We were so much younger,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and like we just moved to l A and we're
- 6:47Speaker 3: like drinking like everywhere like this, we're partying and even
- 6:51Speaker 3: on our right on a fucking Tuesday, we read see
- 6:55Speaker 3: in that little cafe.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're filming a show.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Call it like the days, because we come to America.
- 7:00Speaker 3: We were like we were in the Days, and we'd
- 7:03Speaker 3: come to America, like Americans understand you guys don't get
- 7:06Speaker 3: even just something simple like bathroom body works. To us
- 7:09Speaker 3: was just like or factory anything America honestly, like, it's
- 7:16Speaker 3: just yeah, I want to we're staying on our show.
- 7:18Speaker 3: To Natalie that like next season, we want to film
- 7:21Speaker 3: like going to even like a college campus, like we
- 7:23Speaker 3: never got to do like the US cheerleader and frat
- 7:28Speaker 3: thing that's a movie Friday night lights or anything. Nothing.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So it just.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Produced really hot chicks.
- 7:34Speaker 3: To just sit around around and just yeah no seriously.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But so we were like this is just amazing. We
- 7:41Speaker 3: were having so much fun and we're like, oh, our
- 7:43Speaker 3: dreams coming true. Of course we're filming. We're just having fun.
- 7:46Speaker 3: We're in la and I think we just like envisioned
- 7:50Speaker 3: ourselves filming so much, like in a crazy way that
- 7:52Speaker 3: when we did it, we were like, oh, well, yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 3: here we.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Are at the time, and I imagine you found a
- 7:58Speaker 5: boyfriend like in two seconds, yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah totally.
- 8:02Speaker 3: And then he came on the show and then some
- 8:06Speaker 3: teas we broke up, and then another season's my actual
- 8:10Speaker 3: boyfriend won't film and was he an athlete? Yes, okay, yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 3: so then I'm going on dates on the Way show.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Did you find it hard to like live your authentic
- 8:20Speaker 1: lives on camera or were you pretty much an open
- 8:23Speaker 1: book and would talk about anything?
- 8:25Speaker 3: We were open, were open, and I think we were
- 8:29Speaker 3: very open. Yeah, and yeah we're getting our assholes, bleach,
- 8:32Speaker 3: getting ner vaginasty. Yeah yeah, you filmed everything with your
- 8:38Speaker 3: ex and then we followed my journey as well relationally.
- 8:42Speaker 3: But no, yeah, I think we were pretty open. I
- 8:44Speaker 3: think that's why people resonated, is like, also I have
- 8:49Speaker 3: to say we're family in that chemistry of just like
- 8:52Speaker 3: you know, we've known each other since we were born,
- 8:53Speaker 3: I think came through on camera and the comfortability we
- 8:57Speaker 3: were so authentic because you girls, know, you forget the cameras,
- 9:01Speaker 3: so like we're just hanging out fucking around, right, So
- 9:03Speaker 3: I think that came through. And I was always obviously
- 9:06Speaker 3: comfortable with you and our good girlfriend Nicole, But there
- 9:09Speaker 3: was times again I'm sure you girls know, with like
- 9:12Speaker 3: producing stuff that like it's tough because they want you
- 9:14Speaker 3: to show, like well, show this part and you're like.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So Amber is like she's an actress and like poison
- 9:21Speaker 1: well spoken, So she's like in that world where I've
- 9:26Speaker 1: been doing reality to me, we we're just talking about
- 9:29Speaker 1: orgasms on camera.
- 9:30Speaker 4: So I'm telling you.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Are a voice because while we were talking.
- 9:35Speaker 1: About that, she's like, in order to orgasm, you have
- 9:37Speaker 1: to look yourself in the vagina, and she's like, no, no,
- 9:42Speaker 1: in the eyes in the mirror.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I was like, got it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, I really love your.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Results.
- 9:50Speaker 1: That's right the same, But they do tend to want
- 9:55Speaker 1: like the big explosive fights. And I don't know if.
- 9:57Speaker 2: If E and Brabha.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I feel like each netw work has its own formula
- 10:01Speaker 1: because there's just so many different Like I'm sure even
- 10:03Speaker 1: with Hulu, with your guys' new show The Girls on Hulu,
- 10:07Speaker 1: their formula for making reality TV is different than the
- 10:10Speaker 1: last network that.
- 10:11Speaker 3: You are learning. Yeah, it's all so different, different. Yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 3: I want to dive into that for sure. It's different.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so excited about the show.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Thanks. I've never been a reality I don't like because
- 10:23Speaker 5: of our past.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I think you kind of just like turned me.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Off a little bit. Lately.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I've been a little because the scripted stuff on TV,
- 10:30Speaker 4: they're just getting it.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I might as well just watch reality, like I don't
- 10:34Speaker 2: know what's worth. And then I watched I don't know
- 10:37Speaker 2: what's worse.
- 10:41Speaker 5: If you experience what I experienced in my shoes, you
- 10:45Speaker 5: wouldn't be so fond of reality. But then, but yes,
- 10:49Speaker 5: I was naive and I just dove into my first
- 10:52Speaker 5: reality show.
- 10:53Speaker 4: And now that's all I could fucking.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Which I will choose? Which one? It's love that Nator?
- 11:01Speaker 3: We love I'm so nice. We met them because upfronts
- 11:05Speaker 3: are get real?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Who get real? We met them.
- 11:07Speaker 3: They were so lovely.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It wasn't bad.
- 11:11Speaker 5: It wasn't like I've only seen clips of vander Pump
- 11:14Speaker 5: and I only use that as reference because of that situation.
- 11:17Speaker 4: But I it just wasn't for me, like gave me
- 11:19Speaker 4: a head because there was so much chaos going on
- 11:21Speaker 4: in my life time.
- 11:23Speaker 5: I'm like, I want fucking Buddha music totally, but love
- 11:27Speaker 5: I need her.
- 11:28Speaker 3: It's really fun. It's fun. Yeah, it's so good and exciting.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Yeah, and I have sisters too, so late and our relationship,
- 11:36Speaker 5: you know, it's like I get it so.
- 11:38Speaker 3: But I also get it too I've never really been
- 11:40Speaker 3: a reality fan, to be honest.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So would you not watch your own show?
- 11:43Speaker 5: No?
- 11:43Speaker 3: I mean we would sometimes have to whatever to watch,
- 11:46Speaker 3: Like well, back in the day you do live tweeting.
- 11:48Speaker 3: That's aging when tweet ye, so you'd be watching it.
- 11:53Speaker 3: But but we ever like watch. I know there's a
- 11:56Speaker 3: lot of episodes I didn't see, and then other shows. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 3: I just never watched anything. Was never a reality TV watcher.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I'm a watcher. Okay, Murder, we usually wind up with Murder,
- 12:07Speaker 3: really twisted, weird. They were like, why do we always
- 12:11Speaker 3: go to this because because it's like so so oh my,
- 12:18Speaker 3: because you're like, yeah, wow, how did this happen? Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 3: but it's a bit questionable.
- 12:32Speaker 4: So after Wags, what did how was that?
- 12:35Speaker 6: Transitioned back into not There's all three?
- 12:38Speaker 2: That was three seasons, three.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Seasons, yeah, and everyone told us you guys won't do
- 12:42Speaker 3: good because you're not like the drama types. And then
- 12:44Speaker 3: we ended up getting our own spin off from that
- 12:46Speaker 3: show just us. Yeah, it was called Relatively and Live.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But our family and us and at the time our girlfriends,
- 12:53Speaker 3: as we all know, Kardashians were huge on e and
- 12:56Speaker 3: we have a similar like big family, and he was like,
- 12:59Speaker 3: we can't have like two family in La so you
- 13:01Speaker 3: got to shoot it back in Vancouver. And I was like, no,
- 13:06Speaker 3: we were to leave this. Honestly, was very confused and
- 13:13Speaker 3: I look at her. I'm like, this is all going
- 13:14Speaker 3: so good. We've got our goal because our goal was
- 13:16Speaker 3: our own show, like wet Board, so I'm like, we
- 13:18Speaker 3: did it another manifestation, but I was like, you're shooting
- 13:21Speaker 3: in Vancouver and yeah, and then like fitting the mold.
- 13:24Speaker 3: But and the thing that made us like popular on
- 13:27Speaker 3: the WEG Show was our comedy, Like we're known for
- 13:29Speaker 3: our comedy. And then when we did our own show
- 13:32Speaker 3: in Canada, we're like, is this like an inside job?
- 13:34Speaker 3: It felt weird because whoever was editing it edit out
- 13:37Speaker 3: all the comedy something felt were like job. So we're like,
- 13:40Speaker 3: this is our stick is like comedy, so to leave
- 13:42Speaker 3: that out felt really like this isn't us. And now
- 13:45Speaker 3: we're back in Canada and like and then thankfully COVID
- 13:49Speaker 3: hit during like because we had a contract i think
- 13:51Speaker 3: for a couple of years and with the production company
- 13:53Speaker 3: and with e and then COVID hit after season one,
- 13:56Speaker 3: so we were like out of it because of COVID
- 13:59Speaker 3: and then just time pregnant and it was like pregnant
- 14:01Speaker 3: and then and we were out of that contract and
- 14:05Speaker 3: then we're like, we're never doing really to again. Like
- 14:07Speaker 3: buts you like a little wounded by the last experience
- 14:12Speaker 3: that we were like because we hit the ground and
- 14:15Speaker 3: went hard. Like we're the type where again we come
- 14:17Speaker 3: from white hard introverts, so it's hard for us to
- 14:19Speaker 3: be on that much. We were on like seven years straight.
- 14:23Speaker 3: So I need my nervous system needed to go to
- 14:25Speaker 3: sleep and hibernate for like years.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I would.
- 14:28Speaker 1: So it's so funny that you say that because I'm
- 14:31Speaker 1: in the same way. I'm like such a homebody and
- 14:34Speaker 1: I feel like when I walk into a room like it.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You have to because on and it's a performance.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yes, And so when I tell people that I'm a
- 14:42Speaker 1: homebody and an introvert, they're like, I would never guess that.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm in a panic mode the entire time
- 14:48Speaker 1: that I'm with humans. And so because I would not
- 14:52Speaker 1: gather that from either of you.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Really, Yeah, yeah, we're big, we're big chronic and we're
- 14:56Speaker 3: so we're hard workers. We come from again Canada. We
- 14:59Speaker 3: just we'd have three jobs at a time. When we
- 15:02Speaker 3: show up, we want to make a show or we
- 15:03Speaker 3: want to work hard. We're not We're not the socking type.
- 15:06Speaker 3: So we went hard for seven years straight, working as
- 15:09Speaker 3: off like and someone couldn't swow up to a scene.
- 15:12Speaker 3: A producer would call be like, now live can you
- 15:14Speaker 3: We're like great, sure, throwing our makeup, like we were
- 15:16Speaker 3: those type of workers, and we prod ourselves in hard work,
- 15:20Speaker 3: but we were exhausted by the end of our own show.
- 15:23Speaker 3: The family show also that took a lot out because
- 15:26Speaker 3: love our family, but there's like what was the fourteen total,
- 15:29Speaker 3: and we were producers as well as starting Yeah, yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 3: you're dealing with their personal and emotions or like I
- 15:37Speaker 3: don't know if like you know, sometimes you're like, oh,
- 15:40Speaker 3: how's that going to look? You know, so you're like,
- 15:41Speaker 3: I'm all look back, and then you're putting out this fired.
- 15:44Speaker 3: It was just to all for it to not be
- 15:47Speaker 3: edited or like presented the way that we like wanted
- 15:50Speaker 3: or felt true to us. So really it was okay,
- 15:52Speaker 3: like I think it's a cute watch, but like it
- 15:55Speaker 3: should have been a lot better in my opinions. So
- 15:58Speaker 3: you got relieved when you were totally and COVID hit
- 16:00Speaker 3: was like a blessing disguise. It was like newly born,
- 16:04Speaker 3: So it was just a nice little world. Was weird
- 16:05Speaker 3: as hell happening all of us, right, yeah, yeah, And
- 16:09Speaker 3: at that point we got forced. We were at the
- 16:11Speaker 3: ten thousand building, which was beautiful and amazing, but all
- 16:14Speaker 3: the amenities shut down during COVID, So we're like, why
- 16:16Speaker 3: are we paying all this money to be it is here?
- 16:18Speaker 3: Overpriced as it is as it is, and then they
- 16:21Speaker 3: cut the amenities, are like, hey, let make it out
- 16:23Speaker 3: of here. And then you were outgrowing because it does.
- 16:26Speaker 3: And then Kim and Chloe were like, come to the
- 16:27Speaker 3: come to the valley, and we're like the valley like.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we never like Siberia. We saw that.
- 16:38Speaker 3: We're like, oh, it's so fun. So we got rented
- 16:41Speaker 3: a house together and hidden hills and we're like, we'll
- 16:43Speaker 3: see how it goes. And then all of a sudden
- 16:45Speaker 3: we're like, really good, right we put together you have
- 16:51Speaker 3: quite the space. And then obviously now with my niece,
- 16:55Speaker 3: I'm just like I don't want to like not be
- 16:57Speaker 3: around I mean obviously, and we grew up in that
- 16:59Speaker 3: we were dream yeah, until we meet her. We joke
- 17:03Speaker 3: like it's last house before we just stop saying.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah it was that still the setup right now?
- 17:10Speaker 3: So yes, so we moved out and we're now just
- 17:13Speaker 3: the Cowbass area. But when it came time to moving,
- 17:16Speaker 3: we're like, should we run it back Againner? And you know,
- 17:19Speaker 3: I think it's a couple of years ago now as
- 17:23Speaker 3: a four three Dove was three. She's sitting there. So anyways,
- 17:28Speaker 3: when we go to switch another place, we're like, do
- 17:30Speaker 3: we split up again? We yeah, we'll just go for
- 17:32Speaker 3: another house again. See how it goes. Thinking we're going
- 17:35Speaker 3: to meet our husband's.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Next week and then we haven't liked him yet.
- 17:40Speaker 3: We've done I've done some dating, but so it just
- 17:43Speaker 3: kind of works right now.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I think that's amazing.
- 17:47Speaker 3: We come to more big family. We grew up like
- 17:49Speaker 3: every Sunday, our families would be together during family dinner,
- 17:52Speaker 3: and like even right now, like her mom will go
- 17:55Speaker 3: visit my parents and stay with him for like a week,
- 17:57Speaker 3: and then like her brother was just with us for
- 17:59Speaker 3: almost in my then, Like we just always are all together,
- 18:02Speaker 3: we girls, especially with your single mom.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Yeah, like it's probably so nice having you there because
- 18:07Speaker 5: if you want to go out with your girls or whatever,
- 18:09Speaker 5: and you're like, you know what tonight, I just want
- 18:10Speaker 5: to do a face mask with my niece.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Like it's such a beautiful setup.
- 18:13Speaker 3: And if I'm not like married and have like a
- 18:15Speaker 3: family structure, traditional family structure, like what's the next best
- 18:19Speaker 3: thing then to have family in that she wakes up
- 18:23Speaker 3: to constant family. That's like I couldn't even ask for anything.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Idea of her a husband and a man because I
- 18:29Speaker 5: were married for seven years.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, the older I get, I'm like, shit,
- 18:35Speaker 3: I know we have we have before, we have good dads,
- 18:38Speaker 3: and we're realizing just like first of all, now nowadays
- 18:41Speaker 3: and whatever, it's just like this is like what is that?
- 18:44Speaker 3: That's so I don't know anyone else. Maybe no, I'm
- 18:47Speaker 3: not really well my sister Nicole, like a few people's hope.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yet, when you guys got onto TV and you were
- 18:57Speaker 1: doing your thing, did you find it became harder to
- 19:00Speaker 1: date or easier?
- 19:01Speaker 3: I think harter you think. I think when it was
- 19:04Speaker 3: more incognito, it was easier. I think now that you
- 19:08Speaker 3: kind of like have a name or like you're in
- 19:10Speaker 3: the public, it's it's different, I think because the person
- 19:16Speaker 3: I mean, if they don't know who you are and
- 19:18Speaker 3: meet you, I guess, but if they know of you
- 19:20Speaker 3: on social they have to be okay with your job
- 19:22Speaker 3: and that you're probably you know what I mean. So that
- 19:24Speaker 3: right there takes away some of the pool.
- 19:27Speaker 1: That's why I'm finding that it's harder because you can
- 19:29Speaker 1: behind that.
- 19:30Speaker 2: You think, who are way too thirsty.
- 19:33Speaker 3: But that's the thing.
- 19:34Speaker 1: They're so excited that they want nothing to do with it.
- 19:37Speaker 2: And like, my job, so I have to do this.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I literally provide for my child by putting my entire
- 19:43Speaker 1: life out there. And obviously you can still have your
- 19:46Speaker 1: personal life and baby that.
- 19:48Speaker 2: But the men who want nothing to do like it's
- 19:51Speaker 2: the great. Yeah, I know.
- 19:52Speaker 3: And I feel like usually a lot of the good
- 19:54Speaker 3: guys don't want anything to do with it. I think
- 19:57Speaker 3: that might not be true, but yeah, they would prefer
- 20:01Speaker 3: to maybe not be involved in all this stuff, but
- 20:03Speaker 3: maybe not see.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And I'm like, you don't want to be involved in
- 20:06Speaker 1: any capacity? What are you trying to fucking hide?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Totally true, that's true about guys doing that. I don't
- 20:12Speaker 3: do so or couples don't do the social I'm like,
- 20:15Speaker 3: I don't like that. I'm not saying I want people
- 20:17Speaker 3: to always post, but like never be seen such spech.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Touch to me.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Why, Like I'm not saying we have to post a
- 20:24Speaker 3: red cape photo every week, but like this is my
- 20:27Speaker 3: husband or my mad or whatever. You know, right, Yeah
- 20:29Speaker 3: that's weird. Yeah I think that's suspect, but teaches them.
- 20:32Speaker 1: But do we discriminate over any sort of job, Like
- 20:35Speaker 1: are we looking for just a normal guy?
- 20:37Speaker 2: Do we do?
- 20:39Speaker 3: I really confuse when it comes to this, Like at
- 20:41Speaker 3: this area in my life, I feel like I'm confused
- 20:43Speaker 3: because I feel like at one point I would have
- 20:45Speaker 3: answered something completely different, like and like when we're talking
- 20:48Speaker 3: about there's an appeal now to like the average guy
- 20:51Speaker 3: talking about like our dads and whatever, really simple guy.
- 20:54Speaker 3: That sounds so great. But in theory that sounds amazing.
- 20:57Speaker 3: But if I actually like got down to it little boring,
- 21:00Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm doing that.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Like the contractor sounds nice because then he gets fixed
- 21:05Speaker 5: it around the house, but then the contract.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Is like he's a contractor, he's a little boring. I know.
- 21:09Speaker 3: But if the personality is a huge thing, So it
- 21:11Speaker 3: depends if they've got high personality and an average job.
- 21:15Speaker 3: What I discovered and dating an age is yes, I
- 21:18Speaker 3: cannot have a dud. I look back on some of
- 21:21Speaker 3: the guys that dated and whether they were hot or
- 21:24Speaker 3: what they did or whatever. I'm just like, oh, yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 3: let's date. Looking back useless.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I know, like you never fun Yeah I was funny? Who?
- 21:36Speaker 2: So I know I.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Need a good personality. I need good banter. That's my
- 21:43Speaker 3: number one. And I think once you have it, you're like, oh,
- 21:47Speaker 3: I need this. I feel like it's like dangerous territory
- 21:50Speaker 3: that we're in now. When you become an independent woman
- 21:53Speaker 3: of a certain age, you're like, I am Gucci, Like like,
- 21:57Speaker 3: I like my life so like to add value to
- 22:00Speaker 3: what I already have existing. It's like a tall order.
- 22:03Speaker 5: I am.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Exactly what you can't come in.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I've got it really good.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I've got it so good.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And my first daughter I had like the normal way,
- 22:15Speaker 1: like meta dude.
- 22:16Speaker 2: She and I share a baby daddy. That's how we
- 22:19Speaker 2: know each other. I don't know if you guys know the.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Backstory when she was talking about being like not like
- 22:24Speaker 1: you reality TV, she was married to this guy and
- 22:28Speaker 1: I was his mistress, and she had found a sex
- 22:31Speaker 1: tape of the two of us, and that's when she
- 22:34Speaker 1: had been confirmed.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And she what, yeah, so that's how we know each other.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And now she's like my dearest affair.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Okay, I love it, but I was so wounded from
- 22:45Speaker 1: that entire situation in the custy battle that my second daughter, Sosa,
- 22:49Speaker 1: was conceived via sperm donor, Like, I just like, found
- 22:52Speaker 1: someone give me the goods, and I don't even know
- 22:55Speaker 1: who he is. So I relate to that. I'm like,
- 22:57Speaker 1: you can't step in here. I don't need kids from you.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I don't mean money for you. I don't need to
- 23:01Speaker 1: get a name off of you.
- 23:03Speaker 2: So like, what are you coming in?
- 23:04Speaker 3: And yes, I know you're taking.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Away from my peace because my house is just so peaceful.
- 23:13Speaker 1: That's a real problem. And I think it does come
- 23:15Speaker 1: with age as well.
- 23:16Speaker 2: We're like when you're.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Young, you're like, you said your.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Like and then you go back and you're like, I
- 23:25Speaker 1: gave you so much of my time.
- 23:28Speaker 4: That's the time.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Time, the time.
- 23:30Speaker 4: And I also don't like sleeping next to someone.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And the older I've got you to I touched a.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Separate bedrooms, they're like, we haven't even slept together.
- 23:39Speaker 1: When I'm like, I don't like it's a deal breaker
- 23:44Speaker 1: for me.
- 23:45Speaker 5: It's I never thought a million years that I would
- 23:47Speaker 5: even consider having separate bedrooms because I just like about
- 23:52Speaker 5: them trying.
- 23:53Speaker 4: To like that's with me.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I wake up and er my.
- 23:58Speaker 3: TV because I'm like, my mind is, yeah, you might
- 24:00Speaker 3: to be able to do your thing like sleeping, and.
- 24:05Speaker 1: My skin's tripping out. I want to be able to
- 24:06Speaker 1: cover myself in like whatever creams and patches. I just
- 24:10Speaker 1: need you away totally.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to talk about the girls.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Because I'm so excited about Yeah. So now that I'm
- 24:28Speaker 5: a little reality wore, now, so yes, you shot the
- 24:32Speaker 5: first season?
- 24:32Speaker 3: We did almost Oh you're still and your principles done?
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Yes, So can you kind of give me the like
- 24:41Speaker 5: the premise in like the high level promoting version, what
- 24:45Speaker 5: you could.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Share after our show? We were traumatized, didn't want to
- 24:48Speaker 3: film a show again, right, and then our fans or
- 24:52Speaker 3: whatever over the years, you guys need to be back
- 24:54Speaker 3: on TV. We're like and just kept happening and kept
- 24:57Speaker 3: like entering our like vortex, and as we were sawing
- 25:00Speaker 3: from the you know, yeah, we were maybe like, oh
- 25:04Speaker 3: we've had a break long enough. We're like, okay, maybe
- 25:07Speaker 3: well yeah, so we started to like entertain the idea
- 25:09Speaker 3: in our brain. But we're like, only if it was
- 25:11Speaker 3: like a production company we could really trust and like
- 25:14Speaker 3: does that even exist? And like you know, we just
- 25:16Speaker 3: were like I don't know, Like only I was more
- 25:18Speaker 3: sticklar than her. She was more like okay, I was
- 25:20Speaker 3: like I really don't like well, I was like, if
- 25:23Speaker 3: we're going to do it again and this is our time,
- 25:24Speaker 3: we got to do it one more time. To be
- 25:27Speaker 3: a production company, like it has to be a network.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I like, it has to be a producer that you know,
- 25:32Speaker 3: the premise of the show, the cast, Like I was
- 25:34Speaker 3: going being pretty like it's not going to happen, because
- 25:38Speaker 3: how the hell is all that going to happen? Yeah,
- 25:40Speaker 3: So we started meeting with like production companies, and you know,
- 25:43Speaker 3: it was the same concept of like just me and
- 25:45Speaker 3: Olivia maybe our family or whatever, and we were like
- 25:48Speaker 3: do we really want to just like do us again?
- 25:50Speaker 3: We're like it's just like didn't feel right, they feel right,
- 25:54Speaker 3: just like a lot of weight on like us just
- 25:56Speaker 3: to be the whole thing, or like too old and
- 25:58Speaker 3: lazy for that well coming off of our family show
- 26:04Speaker 3: the way that it's excasting. Yeah, So during the fires
- 26:08Speaker 3: was a last year whenever that was. We stayed with
- 26:10Speaker 3: our friend Nicole who was on legs with us, and
- 26:13Speaker 3: so we're like, okay, listen, we have this like concept
- 26:15Speaker 3: for a show, like what do you think do you
- 26:17Speaker 3: want to do it again? She was like hell yeah.
- 26:19Speaker 3: And we had some like artistic ideas of how it
- 26:21Speaker 3: would be shot and the music and the type of
- 26:24Speaker 3: cameras we'd used, and we had kind of this whole
- 26:26Speaker 3: little concept and she's like I'm in. We're like okay, fun.
- 26:29Speaker 3: And then we were at was it Chloe's birthday last year?
- 26:32Speaker 3: I think so, yeah, yeah, and all our friends are
- 26:36Speaker 3: there pool party, like Melika and Kadija and Iris, and
- 26:40Speaker 3: we were having some drinks and it's just kind of like, hey,
- 26:43Speaker 3: would you guys want to do something? Just pitch like
- 26:46Speaker 3: what are you thinking?
- 26:47Speaker 5: You know?
- 26:47Speaker 3: And they're like, oh my god. Then they had other
- 26:49Speaker 3: stuff going on too, like I think Iris was for
- 26:53Speaker 3: a different show, and Milika and the Twins said they
- 26:56Speaker 3: had stuff with Beta and another thing with I think
- 27:00Speaker 3: a different network, and so everyone kind of had stuff,
- 27:02Speaker 3: but they were all kind of like feeling the same
- 27:03Speaker 3: way we were feeling. It would just be more fun
- 27:05Speaker 3: to do it together and like and we're like, what
- 27:08Speaker 3: does Chloe wanted like and she was like sitting somewhere
- 27:11Speaker 3: different and then I just like marched over and was like,
- 27:13Speaker 3: so what do you think about this and kind of
- 27:15Speaker 3: picture the same idea and she was like, oh yeah,
- 27:18Speaker 3: and like she called that day that day, and then
- 27:21Speaker 3: all of a sudden things were like super fast tracked. Yeah,
- 27:24Speaker 3: we were shooting The Sizzle within from that day, were
- 27:27Speaker 3: shooting The Sizzle two and a half months later quick,
- 27:31Speaker 3: and then picked up two and a half months after that,
- 27:35Speaker 3: then shooting two in a months and a half months
- 27:37Speaker 3: after that, so we are done shooting from before the
- 27:42Speaker 3: convo we started with Chloe at her house.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Reality, I mean I to have done a few pilots,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and from the time the idea is brought to someone
- 27:56Speaker 1: to their film, it's a lot. I mean, well, congratua
- 28:00Speaker 1: on the green light, but think but I'm like, that
- 28:04Speaker 1: was like a two and a half year or deal.
- 28:07Speaker 2: No, it is.
- 28:07Speaker 3: It can take a long time. So it's just been
- 28:09Speaker 3: shocking and how fast we're like, oh, must take it
- 28:12Speaker 3: as like a good sign or a good omen, like
- 28:14Speaker 3: something we're doing right, because everything was just lying.
- 28:18Speaker 5: It was like when it takes time, and some things
- 28:22Speaker 5: do take time, but it just naturally happens.
- 28:24Speaker 3: In the order.
- 28:25Speaker 5: It seems like it was just like you were all
- 28:27Speaker 5: there for a very specific reason, yeah, birthday party, but
- 28:30Speaker 5: like the universe again had something else planned and you guys,
- 28:34Speaker 5: it just made it happen.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and Chloe, so she was so great, So I
- 28:37Speaker 3: ended up how it actually ends up sitting is like
- 28:40Speaker 3: Chloe's really good friends, you know what I mean, kind
- 28:43Speaker 3: of like her in circle in a way, right, So
- 28:46Speaker 3: that's kind of the premise I guess, is the girls,
- 28:48Speaker 3: like that's how we're like introduced the world, you know, Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 3: because everyone that we mentioned is really good friends with
- 28:56Speaker 3: someone in the family, So that's kind of like ends
- 28:58Speaker 3: up feeling like the inner cer girl of friends, inner
- 29:00Speaker 3: circle of the family. So yeah, I just kind of
- 29:06Speaker 3: I don't know. Yeah, and do you know how many
- 29:08Speaker 3: episodes you have and they're still cutting so they might
- 29:12Speaker 3: be pushed a few more. But yeah, I think it
- 29:16Speaker 3: was six or eight great, But because the turnaround was
- 29:19Speaker 3: so quick too, I don't know if we're going to
- 29:21Speaker 3: land at six or I don't know if we have
- 29:22Speaker 3: enough footage or I think I don't know but yeah, six.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Is even great too. It leaves people wanting so much.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I've said.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I know, because I'm just like even in Jays we
- 29:32Speaker 3: had like eight and ten and twelve. It's just a
- 29:34Speaker 3: different time too anytime. And also I think it was
- 29:37Speaker 3: the time slot and then I don't know, who knows,
- 29:39Speaker 3: Maybe we got to prove ourselves and we just got
- 29:41Speaker 3: six and what's banging out of the park.
- 29:42Speaker 4: I don't know, but I'm sure it's so good.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I can't even imagine, and I like the idea of
- 29:48Speaker 1: I have to imagine that the drama comes from outside
- 29:53Speaker 1: things and then you guys are there to kind of
- 29:55Speaker 1: pick up the pieces to each other's lives and really
- 29:57Speaker 1: build each other back up. I mean, I'm sure that
- 30:00Speaker 1: there's like the banter and like the fights that just
- 30:04Speaker 1: friends and people who spend a lot of time together.
- 30:06Speaker 2: But again, it goes back to the formula.
- 30:08Speaker 1: And I've told Amber this because I've been trying to
- 30:10Speaker 1: like massage her into doing a reality TV show and
- 30:14Speaker 1: she's like, that sounds fucking awful, and I'm like, no, listen,
- 30:18Speaker 1: don't look at Bravo is like the Ultimately, I'm totally
- 30:22Speaker 1: open to which Bravo.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Is amazing, like they conquered the art of making.
- 30:26Speaker 1: But I think it's scar She's like, oh no, like
- 30:29Speaker 1: you're a hooker on that show, fucking my customers.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Like for my what I would love is like I
- 30:39Speaker 5: would never want anything to come between what we have
- 30:42Speaker 5: built already is so and of course there's many things
- 30:45Speaker 5: in life, like it's a friendship, like even.
- 30:47Speaker 4: Sisterhood or whatever.
- 30:48Speaker 5: There's a many things that we disagree upon, but I
- 30:50Speaker 5: don't want it ever to come in between what we built.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Like for me, that's that's so precious. But I think
- 30:56Speaker 5: the idea of doing it would actually be really fun.
- 30:59Speaker 3: I'm an art it is, like, Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 5: What I've learned through Low is she's so freaking good
- 31:04Speaker 5: at what she does and like, oh, it's an art,
- 31:06Speaker 5: so like always preconceived notions about what reality TV people
- 31:10Speaker 5: do and how it's just like I mean, I just
- 31:13Speaker 5: come coming from the scripted side of like, oh, movie television,
- 31:16Speaker 5: there's so much.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Work total that comes with it.
- 31:19Speaker 5: Yeah, but I was wrong, Like it really is such
- 31:22Speaker 5: a there is an art to it, and I really
- 31:24Speaker 5: appreciate that now.
- 31:25Speaker 3: So I'm totally and like the thing that, yeah, that
- 31:28Speaker 3: is nice and the thing that we've learned too and
- 31:30Speaker 3: the reason why we like survived it, our relationship survived
- 31:33Speaker 3: it is just like it's like anything else in life,
- 31:36Speaker 3: just like healthy communications. It's just so important.
- 31:38Speaker 2: But like as long as.
- 31:39Speaker 3: The communication is there, then no one's feelings can be hurt.
- 31:42Speaker 3: And I think that's like a dance that we're learning
- 31:44Speaker 3: with like these other girls that we're doing it with too.
- 31:47Speaker 3: It's just like that's how we like move and operate
- 31:50Speaker 3: and just like want to like have it be a
- 31:53Speaker 3: really healthy people. Film differently, I.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Guess everyone films differently.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I just learned I was on a show for it
- 32:01Speaker 1: lasted eleven seasons and I was a part of eight
- 32:03Speaker 1: of those, and now I'm on a new show.
- 32:05Speaker 2: That's kind of like a spin off of that.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And when people ask, you know, like are you did
- 32:11Speaker 1: you enjoy the process, It's like I did, but it
- 32:13Speaker 1: was so different different prior cast just the way that
- 32:19Speaker 1: I'm like, this show is not interesting if we're not
- 32:22Speaker 1: going to have like.
- 32:23Speaker 3: You got to go there.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I love being able because in like real life, I
- 32:27Speaker 1: always say you have to separate reality from reality where
- 32:30Speaker 1: it's like in real life, I'm probably going to pick
- 32:31Speaker 1: my battles right totally when we film. I love being
- 32:35Speaker 1: able to pick every fucking battle.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you have to otherwise entertaining.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Right film, are you able to film with her?
- 32:42Speaker 3: So I do film with her, but I don't have
- 32:44Speaker 3: her like in storylines or anything. Okay, you know, like
- 32:47Speaker 3: she's just there, comes in, gives me a hug and
- 32:50Speaker 3: runs off or just something super simple.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, to let the audience. Mind the audience because.
- 32:55Speaker 3: The other thing too, in my reality, she's with me
- 32:58Speaker 3: all the time. I do everything with her. She comes
- 33:00Speaker 3: with us everywhere, which you don't see that as much
- 33:03Speaker 3: on the show. But I just wanted to still you're
- 33:06Speaker 3: working like this, you're working, you know, like yeah, it's
- 33:10Speaker 3: it's weird because your job is to you know what
- 33:12Speaker 3: I mean, Like I know.
- 33:14Speaker 5: But you've made a decision not to have a part
- 33:16Speaker 5: of any storyline in that.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Yeah now, but you want to still Yeah, because she
- 33:19Speaker 3: gets older. If like she's into that and me and
- 33:22Speaker 3: her dad think that's a good idea, then like great,
- 33:24Speaker 3: but like for now, just like she pops in and
- 33:27Speaker 3: CCPC and people know that's my daughter. I'm not a
- 33:29Speaker 3: bad mom. She's here, yeah, right, Yeah, she's attached to
- 33:34Speaker 3: my hip, so great.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Mom. Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 1: When I remember when I first became a mom, my
- 33:39Speaker 1: daughter was like three months old and we were filming
- 33:41Speaker 1: vander Pump and there were so many people that would
- 33:44Speaker 1: say to me and another woman who became a mom
- 33:46Speaker 1: at the same time that I did on the show
- 33:48Speaker 1: that we had like chosen to go to a pool
- 33:49Speaker 1: party instead of with her kid.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm contractually I would like a break. How
- 33:58Speaker 2: about that?
- 33:58Speaker 3: Yeah, just like a couple of.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Do you have a pretty good co parenting relationship?
- 34:04Speaker 3: I honestly, it's a work in progress, but I feel
- 34:07Speaker 3: like it's really positive. It's just something that I feel
- 34:11Speaker 3: like is changing, regularly evolving. But I'm proud of us. Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 3: I know what I like.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yeah, because we are hitting the stage of life where
- 34:21Speaker 1: like people who had husbands and families are now separating. Okay,
- 34:25Speaker 1: I left my ex when Ocean was only seven months old.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So she doesn't even like there was a point in
- 34:30Speaker 1: time where she saw a photo.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I thought I had deleted every trace of him. And
- 34:34Speaker 2: she looked at me and she's like, you know my dad.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know, Yes I do.
- 34:42Speaker 1: But when I have friends who vent about like the
- 34:44Speaker 1: co parenting relationship.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I've realized that it's.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Just a healthy co parenting relationship, Like if it were
- 34:51Speaker 1: if you guys were great, you be together, right, Yeah,
- 34:55Speaker 1: it's ever changing.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I think as long as you know it's hard to do, like,
- 34:59Speaker 3: but I think is as long as you're just honestly
- 35:03Speaker 3: focused on like your child and like their story and
- 35:08Speaker 3: not like interjecting your story into their life story of
- 35:11Speaker 3: their interpretation or their experience with that relationship they have
- 35:15Speaker 3: with their father, you know, and that's like the highest
- 35:19Speaker 3: thing you hold at all times, and like it goes
- 35:21Speaker 3: as best as it can go, you know what I mean.
- 35:23Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been in my era of like you just
- 35:36Speaker 7: go through the like I feel ugly, I look ugly,
- 35:38Speaker 7: I hate my hair.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Just staring at yourself too long.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You want to like hang the face up and get
- 35:41Speaker 1: me one.
- 35:42Speaker 3: You know what I've been doing. Sorry to interrupt you,
- 35:44Speaker 3: but I've been doing is like for about a year now.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I want to do my whole morning and nighttime routine,
- 35:49Speaker 3: my skincare stuff with the lights off. I don't look
- 35:51Speaker 3: in the mirror.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Bitch, I do the fucking same. I you know, you're
- 35:56Speaker 2: like in pitch black.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Yeah almost. It's like, well, it's like see what I'm
- 36:00Speaker 3: grabbing you know what I mean?
- 36:02Speaker 2: You're seeing you back yesterday? I was like, why is
- 36:05Speaker 2: it so bright in here? Do you remember?
- 36:06Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, because I feel like I looked better that way.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Yeah, well we all looked better.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm not having sex with the lights on
- 36:14Speaker 3: crazy like I did when I was like twenty one,
- 36:18Speaker 3: and I'm certainly not drunk enough to do it either. Right.
- 36:21Speaker 1: So you guys have your your hairline Harlock.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Our co owners Sarah and Michael, they're amazing. They're Canadian
- 36:29Speaker 3: as well. We met them when we were filming our
- 36:31Speaker 3: show relatively not living Vancouver. They were stylist and they
- 36:34Speaker 3: were so nice and so cool.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Michael owns a slan and Vancouver called Brush and Sarah
- 36:40Speaker 3: is a stylist. She's amazing, And they launched and it
- 36:44Speaker 3: was doing awesome. We love hair extensions. We've been wearing them,
- 36:48Speaker 3: you know, our whole adult life. But they approached us like, hey,
- 36:51Speaker 3: would you guys be interested in you know, joining forces
- 36:54Speaker 3: with us? You know you wear a hair We love
- 36:56Speaker 3: you girls, we love what you're about. And we were
- 36:59Speaker 3: like yeah, yeah, it was like in the infancy stages. Yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 3: when we joined and it seemed like such a good fit.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Everything's ethically sourced, which is very rare for hair extensions.
- 37:10Speaker 3: Like usually they're from overseas. Overseas and someone's like sacrifice
- 37:15Speaker 3: their hair from some religious ritual and the black market
- 37:18Speaker 3: takes them and sells them and white people make a
- 37:20Speaker 3: bunch of money. It's inside I have.
- 37:21Speaker 2: You know, that's like.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Where hair extensions come from. Is that's what's happening, And
- 37:26Speaker 3: that's bad energy on you and hair hold a lot
- 37:29Speaker 3: of energy.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Beging my fucking extensions bad. Yeah, I like that better.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I like that better.
- 37:40Speaker 4: So I have always suffered, like not being able to
- 37:42Speaker 4: grow my hair. I have a lot of hair.
- 37:44Speaker 5: It's just thin me too, so like I have the
- 37:46Speaker 5: longest was like here on the c yeah, and it's.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Like a wispy Can we not try just trim trimming.
- 37:57Speaker 4: The bop and here we are PIXI cut if I
- 37:59Speaker 4: could I recently, like six months ago, you ain't.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Got that Holly Bury face.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I know you know, I love your bone structure more
- 38:15Speaker 1: than anything. I know you're gonna be a bald bitch
- 38:17Speaker 1: and you would still be slapping you actually, you can't
- 38:19Speaker 1: do it.
- 38:20Speaker 3: You got a good john line and.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Geez, yeah, I want to hang up you guys all
- 38:27Speaker 4: the time. No, but I I'm like ready.
- 38:30Speaker 5: She sent me a text the other day She's like, hey,
- 38:32Speaker 5: I was just looking at photos of you, and you
- 38:33Speaker 5: look really fucking hot with your long sensions when.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Everybody does, and you look hot with your bob too.
- 38:39Speaker 4: You did that, but I got stated on like what
- 38:42Speaker 4: I have. So my question is.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Is it my hair is still too short to put
- 38:48Speaker 5: extens No, do you have a person I can go to?
- 38:52Speaker 3: Yes's tying to have mermaid butt? Absolutely, absolutely, I think
- 38:58Speaker 3: would be good. Or if you ever tape ins, I
- 39:01Speaker 3: think tips, I think K tips. I have K tips.
- 39:06Speaker 2: And what is that is that?
- 39:07Speaker 3: Like a tiny little like every little piece is like
- 39:11Speaker 3: bond bonded it right?
- 39:13Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, and it doesn't break your hair.
- 39:15Speaker 3: No, it is honestly almost preserved like fuller.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Really yes, because I only do clippings because.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I clippings aren't like I mean, clippings are okay when
- 39:26Speaker 3: I'm blonde, I don't like to I like to take it,
- 39:30Speaker 3: but when I'm blonde, I don't like too too much,
- 39:32Speaker 3: like I feel like it looks a bit Barbie when
- 39:35Speaker 3: I'm just blonde. When I'm Brenette, I'll do tapes or
- 39:39Speaker 3: k tips, but I'm clipping it right now. You want
- 39:43Speaker 3: to wear it once in a while. Clippings are perfect.
- 39:46Speaker 1: See and I'm not an everyday kind of girl.
- 39:49Speaker 3: But the thing with don't know they're there and we
- 39:52Speaker 3: have different like textures to them. So depending on how
- 39:55Speaker 3: your hair actually air dries, there's it's really great to
- 39:58Speaker 3: get over the shower and you go little kink in
- 40:00Speaker 3: your hair and the extensions a little kink, but it's
- 40:06Speaker 3: long and luscious.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And I don't feel like when you clip your hair
- 40:09Speaker 1: and you become a different person.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Absolutely I would completely.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I can't like your am I I'm like, it's like, yeah.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Without my hair, I'm like a little fucking weirdo. You
- 40:23Speaker 2: don't as much as you think, like what is it
- 40:25Speaker 2: like when the hair is up.
- 40:26Speaker 3: You just like, don't put them super close to the
- 40:29Speaker 3: hairline so you can fully do a snatch pony. You
- 40:31Speaker 3: can do you just like, hey, I also want to
- 40:33Speaker 3: be able to do ponies so they'll go around certain
- 40:36Speaker 3: you know.
- 40:37Speaker 5: Okay, so you guys sell the hair and then you
- 40:38Speaker 5: take them like if I buy the hair from you guys,
- 40:41Speaker 5: and then I take them to your stylist.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Or someone we are commanded to do the install I'm extending.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Did did you find after postpartum your hair was like
- 40:52Speaker 1: super fucked up?
- 40:53Speaker 3: Honestly, I didn't notice the huge differ because I feel
- 40:57Speaker 3: like my hair is already so shitty. I didn't notice
- 41:00Speaker 3: some I didn't. I didn't suffer too much from the
- 41:03Speaker 3: hair thing.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Oh you're so lucky.
- 41:05Speaker 3: You're also a type too, Like we've had friends or
- 41:09Speaker 3: even family that like, what is it like they won't
- 41:12Speaker 3: sacrifice like the integrity, like, oh the health of my hair.
- 41:15Speaker 3: You've always been like make it look hot. Even when
- 41:19Speaker 3: you were like this part of me, you weren't like,
- 41:21Speaker 3: oh let me, you just have the hair, and so
- 41:22Speaker 3: I never noticed. I didn't notice if like it was
- 41:25Speaker 3: shitty or you just always liked And I haven't actually
- 41:29Speaker 3: really curly hair, okay, so like I just have a
- 41:32Speaker 3: lot of hair no matter what's happening. But it does
- 41:34Speaker 3: get wispy and thin, so like when I wear it,
- 41:37Speaker 3: I did straighten it. It is pathetic, thank you, but yeah, both.
- 41:41Speaker 2: The heads of hair sloping.
- 41:43Speaker 5: One last question before we rap because I love all
- 41:46Speaker 5: things like skincare.
- 41:47Speaker 6: I'm like, you know, a skincare for what is like.
- 41:50Speaker 4: One product one treatment. Actually, let's do treatment because I
- 41:53Speaker 4: love drinking.
- 41:54Speaker 2: They both would recommend.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Okay, I've just got this for the first time with
- 42:00Speaker 3: I've been noticing more than ever my crow's feet and
- 42:03Speaker 3: just like the ocular fat going away. So it's the thinnest,
- 42:07Speaker 3: the skin is thinner, and it's just looking more geezery
- 42:10Speaker 3: and whatever. So I go to our girlfriend's seven Keyspom
- 42:13Speaker 3: there's one in Calabasis, one in Glendale, and yeah, it's
- 42:16Speaker 3: called Smooth Eye, and it's essentially just a laser, which
- 42:20Speaker 3: I'm also careful with because I never want to melt fat.
- 42:22Speaker 3: I'm sure we all know. Don't belt fat. That's what
- 42:25Speaker 3: geezes you up. Even more so I made sure, I said,
- 42:29Speaker 3: I'm scared of lasers. Is this gonna like I can't
- 42:32Speaker 3: lose any more fat by my eye? She's like, no,
- 42:34Speaker 3: that only does if you go so high.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I said, okay, I'll trust you. She's like, this is
- 42:39Speaker 3: just gonna downage your skin enough, kind of like a
- 42:41Speaker 3: micro needling. It didn't break skin. You can go that
- 42:44Speaker 3: far if you want, but I had press some stuff
- 42:46Speaker 3: to do, so she's like, let's go a little lighter.
- 42:48Speaker 3: So you're essentially just giving that kind of injury. Yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 3: it puffs up a bit, it builds the collagen, it
- 42:53Speaker 3: tightens it up, and I've loved it so far. Even
- 42:56Speaker 3: Joy today, our makeup artist, she was like, what did
- 42:59Speaker 3: you do it? How long ago? Ah around right before
- 43:03Speaker 3: the Toy Story premiere.
- 43:06Speaker 2: She was like, because she used to do and they
- 43:08Speaker 2: do it under here too because.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Here all in all around, and she was like, what
- 43:13Speaker 3: did you because I said to her she knows my makeparts,
- 43:15Speaker 3: is like, I want to maybe dabble on upper bluffs
- 43:18Speaker 3: at some point a little Yeah, it's starting to come
- 43:21Speaker 3: down here, and she's like, what's going on? I was like,
- 43:24Speaker 3: why did that? Smooth? And she's like, I fully noticed.
- 43:26Speaker 3: That's fully what I said. Okay, I'll take that because
- 43:30Speaker 3: I noticed, But for her to say it was.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, it's a big deal because they're all.
- 43:33Speaker 2: In your girl.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so smooth. And then she did just go over
- 43:38Speaker 3: my skin as well. I've been dealing with some acne
- 43:41Speaker 3: shees and got health blah blah blah. Anyways, she said
- 43:44Speaker 3: just going over your skin too, if you have any
- 43:46Speaker 3: actives that calmed it down, And it totally did. The
- 43:48Speaker 3: next week, I was like, any actives that chilled it out?
- 43:50Speaker 3: So I want to go back and how can I get.
- 43:53Speaker 2: This knew that I am?
- 43:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I feel like I used to be really
- 44:00Speaker 3: big like skincare junkie person where it had all the
- 44:03Speaker 3: like serums and all that kind of stuff, and then
- 44:05Speaker 3: a couple of years ago I just was over it
- 44:07Speaker 3: and then I just went to like set a pill
- 44:10Speaker 3: and like just the most basic.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Thing you can think of, totally.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Because I'm naturally very oily and it have been my
- 44:19Speaker 3: whole life, and I think that's it good. It keeps
- 44:21Speaker 3: your skin like youthful. But it just anytime I add
- 44:24Speaker 3: any type of cerum money thing, I get really oily
- 44:26Speaker 3: and yeah, this isn't cute. So I feel like just
- 44:29Speaker 3: doing the absolute basics was where like I landed and
- 44:33Speaker 3: feel good in that space. But for lasers and stuff,
- 44:35Speaker 3: same thing. I don't do a lot of lasers because
- 44:38Speaker 3: I do feel like it I'm scared of fat on
- 44:40Speaker 3: your face and I have a chubb your face, and
- 44:42Speaker 3: I feel like that's what's helped me look you. And
- 44:46Speaker 3: my mom would say that to me when I was younger,
- 44:48Speaker 3: like you're gonna love it one day because she has
- 44:49Speaker 3: to chubb your face too, And I'm like, what, Like
- 44:51Speaker 3: I hate it, But now I'm like, I get it.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I get it. But I do do the BBL facial laser. Yes,
- 44:59Speaker 3: I do that. Yeah, And it's one of like an
- 45:01Speaker 3: older is it's called Sitcon or something as the machine
- 45:04Speaker 3: it might be butchering that. But a lot of places
- 45:07Speaker 3: around here don't carry it because it's they only carry
- 45:09Speaker 3: like trendy.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Stuff, right or whatever. It's old school.
- 45:13Speaker 3: From like ten years ago, and no one really carries it.
- 45:16Speaker 3: So I found one place in La that carries it.
- 45:18Speaker 3: And it's the one laser I've gotten throughout the years
- 45:20Speaker 3: that I love. And it really does like puff up
- 45:22Speaker 3: your skin and it gives you like this really like
- 45:26Speaker 3: radiant glow that I have you notice like instantly and
- 45:29Speaker 3: there's no downtime.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 3: So I'm like, I love that BBO smooth Eye are right?
- 45:35Speaker 3: Those are laser?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to do the laser because I got
- 45:38Speaker 1: milasmas so badly with Ocean and then even work.
- 45:41Speaker 3: So the BBL has different like settings where you can
- 45:44Speaker 3: do your pigmentation. You can do like for reducing like
- 45:48Speaker 3: collagen production, any sort of like red like blood vegels
- 45:53Speaker 3: or anything red.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's all.
- 45:56Speaker 3: It won't melt the fat. Okay, that's a thing.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Don't do it. Don't help the fat. It doesn't.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Friends that have done like the best treatments throughout the years,
- 46:09Speaker 3: and like they they look beautiful in their skins like glass,
- 46:12Speaker 3: but them they're missing the like puffy youthful ness. Yeah,
- 46:16Speaker 3: you want the chob, you want the need.
- 46:19Speaker 4: I need the child back here. That's what I'm working on.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Keep the chub, booby.
- 46:23Speaker 4: I used to have the chob and then and then I've.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Never had the chub. I'm going and getting my ass.
- 46:28Speaker 1: I'm getting new boobs because I didn't get him big enough.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I want to feel like.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Her.
- 46:34Speaker 3: See beautiful, isn't it funny?
- 46:37Speaker 2: Brock? Oh see, I feel like the guy last night
