- 0:01You have plenty to be excited about in the precious metal
- 0:04sector, silver, gold, precious metal mining stocks.
- 0:08But of course, today is an absolute horrible day.
- 0:12We'll get the bad news out of the way at the beginning.
- 0:14Then we're going to explore some incredibly interesting stories,
- 0:18major developments in the world, in the precious metal sector.
- 0:23That will give us major reason for optimism.
- 0:27But let's go check on the price of silver, see if we can't, and
- 0:32gold, see if we can't get that price to go up during our live
- 0:35stream here. So we're down $2.45 on the spot
- 0:39price of silver, right around what, $74.50?
- 0:44Seventy $5 gold, $4437. I remember.
- 0:49Do you remember back in October, I remember exactly where I was
- 0:54in Quebec of 2023 when the gold price was $1800 per oz.
- 1:00What is that 2 1/2 years ago? Today we're at $4300.
- 1:06We got a lot more to talk about. We are going to talk about
- 1:09$35,000 gold. Don't throw eggs at me.
- 1:13This is basic mathematics in mathematics shows no forgiveness
- 1:17on the altar of truth, telling us that we could see and
- 1:21realistically based on past performance, $35,000 gold price
- 1:26floors. They're talking about it again
- 1:29in the critical minerals price floors for things like silver
- 1:34because silver is on the critical minerals a list.
- 1:37Also. I smell a big rat.
- 1:39Do you smell the big rat? With what's going on in the
- 1:43silver and gold sector in Asia and a big rat, that could be
- 1:46big, big good things for us. Oh, we got news on the Comex and
- 1:50we've got our daily dose of gloom.
- 1:52But first, thank you for joining me in the basement.
- 1:55We are the basement dwellers because we believe in the future
- 2:00of gold and silver, because we understand history and we may
- 2:07not have math degrees from MIT, but we also understand the basic
- 2:12laws of mathematics. Let's get to the good news now
- 2:15on silver and gold. Get ready to smile.
- 2:18Let's head out to our friend at silver trade with a friendly
- 2:23reminder. And then we got a pep talk from
- 2:25Rashad. Not sure who needs to hear this?
- 2:28Well, I do. How about you?
- 2:31But the comex price of silver one year ago today was 34.
- 2:36I'm sorry, $33.44. There's a beautiful American
- 2:42Silver Eagle. But what about our friend
- 2:44Rashad, the eternal optimist? And here we go, he says.
- 2:50My my view on gold is unchanged. Wait till you hear what he says
- 2:54in the next next segment. I don't expect that escalation
- 2:58between the US and Iran. Furthermore, the US should be
- 3:01getting ready for the Independence Day on July 4th,
- 3:05which is the 250th anniversary. I do not see an active war going
- 3:10forward. I think the precious metals are
- 3:12destined to shoot up well and actually looks like he kind of
- 3:16drew that on his chart. A little draw down and then a
- 3:19big shoot up. But wait till you hear this, he
- 3:22says. All right.
- 3:23And we know we've been through it together, guys, remember, we,
- 3:26we, we none of us guaranteed it would be just a perfect smooth
- 3:31sailing. Nothing goes up.
- 3:33Silver price, gold price, precious metal, mining stocks,
- 3:35prices. Nothing goes up in an absolute
- 3:38straight line, he says. Four months of torture in the
- 3:43precious metals market since January 28th is about to end
- 3:47today. Today.
- 3:49What we're going to going through could be the last day of
- 3:52the shenanigans. I smell a rat.
- 3:55I do not even think that endless news about the US Iran peace
- 3:59deal. Yeah, you know, get over it.
- 4:02Get through it, guys. An asteroid approaching Earth,
- 4:07or even an alien invasion is not going to stop precious metals
- 4:12from rallying. No more BS.
- 4:15OK, now let's look at this in particular with silver from the
- 4:20man, the myth, the legend, the happy Hawaiian.
- 4:25The gold to silver ratio remains below the 50 day average, which
- 4:30is always bullish for silver. Now it just needs to break down
- 4:36from the support that many seem to refuse to acknowledge exist.
- 4:41And what we're looking at here, guys, again, this is the gold to
- 4:44silver ratio. How many ounces of silver does
- 4:47it take to get one ounce of gold?
- 4:50The lower that goes on this chart, OK, the higher the silver
- 4:56price will go, which a lot of people refer to as a potential
- 4:59for a slingshot move, the gold price.
- 5:02When we're rooting, we love gold.
- 5:04We love gold mining. Stocks can go higher and higher,
- 5:07but as this ratio goes down, that's what creates the
- 5:11slingshot move. Now, as we can see right back in
- 5:16January right here, let me make this a little smaller for your
- 5:21viewing pleasure. See if we can get it.
- 5:23There we go. That should work better on the
- 5:26full screen. The gold to silver ratio dropped
- 5:29down all the way into the 40s recently when we had our little
- 5:3290 blep, it went. Now we're back in here today.
- 5:36Let me draw. This was the $90.00 that we had
- 5:39what, 2 weeks ago. This was the 1:20 today.
- 5:43We are probably moving a little bit higher back into this, but
- 5:48do you see something on your screen right, that right there a
- 5:52wedge pattern, eventually the price or the ratio has to break
- 5:58free from that. We went into the wedge pattern
- 6:02on a downward trend. Typically what happens as wedge
- 6:06patterns resolve themselves, which they always have to do,
- 6:10they will resolve themselves in the same direction as the trend
- 6:14that went into it. OK.
- 6:16Again, if we have higher gold prices, which we're going to
- 6:20talk about $35,000 gold going once point twice a little bit
- 6:23later in this live stream and a decrease in the gold to silver
- 6:28ratio, it could truly be epic. Remember, that's a wedge
- 6:32pattern, which I love because they always will get resolved
- 6:36either downward or upward as time goes by.
- 6:40It's an absolute inevitability for that to occur.
- 6:44But here in the basement, we don't call it a wedge pattern.
- 6:46We don't call it a triangle pattern.
- 6:48We refer to that as a sideways pyramid pattern.
- 6:52Now we get this from the bald guy.
- 6:54Love the bald guy, Bald guy Money, one of the most popular
- 6:57precious metal YouTube channels and he talks about patience,
- 7:04people chasing. Look, I know the last four
- 7:07months, three months have been long and drawn out.
- 7:09Actually, I talked to bald guy over the weekend.
- 7:11We were talking about how this consolidation period has created
- 7:15a situation where anybody who wanted to sell their silver
- 7:19AT74768073 dollars has sold, been replaced by strong handed
- 7:25people back to what the bald guy says.
- 7:27And it's good news about silver. People chasing immediate
- 7:31results. Forget the best dishes take time
- 7:36to cook. Silver is no different.
- 7:38You know I've got a crockpot sitting behind me on my lower
- 7:42left side. You'll see it here when I bring
- 7:43myself back onto the screen. The best dishes take time,
- 7:47deficits and silver supply. We're never going to yield
- 7:52immediate results, but we are seeing the rubber meet the road
- 7:57right though momentum, the paradigm is shifting.
- 8:01I'm not a hype man. I made top dollar as an analyst
- 8:04strategist. I am betting he is betting his
- 8:08reputation on this. And then of course, this is the
- 8:11chart going back to looks like, what, 2016 showing the annual
- 8:18silver deficits. Yes, we were in the green for a
- 8:21couple years, but guys, this right here, OK, eventually this
- 8:27makes a difference and it takes time.
- 8:31And he also mentions that silver opened at $72.39 in 2026.
- 8:37Again, that came from the bald guy money.
- 8:41Very smart guy and very popular on YouTube and within the
- 8:45precious metals sector. What about mainstream media
- 8:49then? I'll come back.
- 8:52Here's a great one. Mainstream media, Bloomberg,
- 8:56right? I mean, mainstream media
- 8:57typically is not very nice to gold and silver.
- 9:02We've got imagine Bloomberg riding this.
- 9:06We're going to look at this headline in one second, exactly
- 9:09same hit piece, but they said it about NVIDIA.
- 9:13NVIDIA AI stock is trading much stronger than we expected.
- 9:18So it will probably go down soon.
- 9:20We are nowhere near the top of this generational bull market in
- 9:24gold and silver. And here's the Bloomberg
- 9:26headline. Positioning in Silver leaves it
- 9:30vulnerable to a pullback. Well, we got to admit, maybe.
- 9:34Maybe. What was that yesterday?
- 9:35Maybe they were right once for one day.
- 9:38Oh, OK. Silver's recent resilience is at
- 9:42odds with a downtrend in investor positioning, which
- 9:45leaves it vulnerable to a pullback.
- 9:47That's what I wanted. Yeah.
- 9:48Today's a bad day. Oh, for silver and gold, But we
- 9:52aren't worried about days. We are thinking about quarters.
- 9:58We are thinking about years. We're thinking about a full
- 10:02decade, guys. We are going to have days like
- 10:05today in the precious metals sector.
- 10:08We're going to have, guess what? Here's the good news.
- 10:11We're going to have more days like this in the future.
- 10:14Think about 10 years. Do you think over the next 10
- 10:17years? You never know, but it's
- 10:19extremely unlikely likely that we're going to go up, up, up,
- 10:23up, up every day for the next quarter year or ten years.
- 10:28The volatility and it goes both ways.
- 10:30We have volatility to the upside and we have volatility to the
- 10:34downside. It's going to happen.
- 10:36We know the long oh darn it, there was something I wanted to
- 10:39share with you. We have let's go back.
- 10:42I want somebody also wrote something.
- 10:45We have the long term fundamentals on our side.
- 10:50And yeah, there it is right there.
- 10:52This from Share. The right screen was under
- 10:56Rashad's post from Daniel Tashinkle.
- 10:59He said the longer precious metals consolidate while macro
- 11:03risk keep building in the background, the more violent the
- 11:08next breakout usually becomes once capital finally rotates
- 11:13into the sector. And remember, right, where's all
- 11:17the money right now? I heard something yesterday say
- 11:19that was mind numbing flabbergasting that like the
- 11:22total market cap of the entire AI sector is equal to like more
- 11:27than half of the entire United States GDP.
- 11:32I mean, Can you believe that? And think about what happens
- 11:36when Judge in itsy bitsy teeny weeny, part of those trillions
- 11:42of dollars that are in AI moves into the precious metal sector,
- 11:48the commodity super cycle. All the Daniel got all this, all
- 11:53the smartest people are saying we're going to have a commodity
- 11:56super cycle. But wait, there's more because
- 12:00all this AI miracle that's going to occur, all these chips, all
- 12:04these data centers, all this electricity, none of it.
- 12:07It is possible without copper or silver.
- 12:16And we're not leaving you out. Gold bugs.
- 12:18I love gold as well. Central banks are saying they're
- 12:21going to buy. I mean, the whole setup is just
- 12:23absolutely incredible. OK, now look at this chart, this
- 12:27one from Jordan Roy Byrne is absolutely excellent.
- 12:34And there it is should be up on your screen right now.
- 12:38This is interesting. Another version of not he's one
- 12:41of the top analyst in this is his great his favorite gold
- 12:44analog. The current best fit for the
- 12:47breakout that we have right now maps almost perfectly as a
- 12:52weighted composite, 75% of the 1972 breakout and 25% of the
- 13:002005 breakout. So if you weight those two
- 13:04breakouts 75% on 72 and 25% on O5, you get this and it's time
- 13:11shifted 6 months forward, you get this incredible, incredible
- 13:16chart going back to 2004. And yeah, the black line, stop
- 13:22moving that on you. The black line is the current
- 13:26breakout that we have in the gold price.
- 13:30The blue line, OK, which which matches almost exactly with that
- 13:35weighted weighted average between 2005 and 1972.
- 13:40As you can see, it matches perfectly right up to right now,
- 13:45which is right here. But then that weighted average
- 13:51continues, uppity, uppity, uppity, and as you can see gets
- 13:56all the way to $8000. OK, very interesting.
- 14:00Now let's talk about next. We're going to talk about
- 14:03$35,000 gold. I mean, these are crazy high
- 14:08numbers, but they're real. Before we do that, I want to say
- 14:11thank you to channel sponsor First Mint, right?
- 14:14There they are #1 they do one thing.
- 14:17They create silver bullion products.
- 14:21All they do is silver. They're owned by First Majestic
- 14:24Silver, who mines the silver in Mexico, sends it to 1st Mint in
- 14:28Las Vegas, NV, and then it goes directly to you.
- 14:31We're going to talk about the Comex later.
- 14:33None of the silver, right? It goes from the mine to the
- 14:36mint to you. It doesn't go to the Comex, it
- 14:38doesn't go to the LBMA and it's world class silver bullion
- 14:42products. I was looking at this one before
- 14:44we came on. Absolutely.
- 14:47Look at that. That's their year of the year of
- 14:50the horse. Look at that round.
- 14:53I mean, get it to shine for you a little bit.
- 14:56Absolutely beautiful. There's nothing like, and that's
- 14:59after I've held it with my hands, right for months now that
- 15:02I've had this. Nothing like holding an ounce of
- 15:05silver in your hand. Here's their website,
- 15:08firstmeant.com. And as you can see, you get free
- 15:13shipping on orders over $299. Unbelievable customer service, a
- 15:20true premium retail experience for anyone looking to buy
- 15:25silver, and they've got a $2 off special right now on their
- 15:29Liberty bars. Thank you.
- 15:31And you guys love First Men. You know, while we're out here,
- 15:35let's go on a little trip to Canada and 1st Mining Gold.
- 15:39They also sponsor our channel, make our get togethers possible.
- 15:43They are a development stage gold company with two huge multi
- 15:48million ounce projects in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario
- 15:52and Dupart K located in Quebec. The big mining companies are
- 15:57going to need to replace their pipelines with big projects and
- 16:021st Mining has two of them in the favorable friendly
- 16:06jurisdiction of Canada. You can learn more about them at
- 16:10firstmininggold.com. It's a stock that I've owned for
- 16:15years before they sponsored the channel.
- 16:19Great company, great management. Please check them out.
- 16:22Now let's move on. Oh, I promised you $35,000 gold.
- 16:26How could that be you may be asking?
- 16:29Well, it could be based on history and based on mathematics
- 16:35and based on this from our friend, the Global Markets
- 16:40investor. Is there more upside in gold
- 16:43prices? The S&P 500 to gold ratio has
- 16:47been declining over over the last years, following the same
- 16:51pattern after the 1929 crash in the 1970s inflation
- 16:55eraandthe2000.com bubble. So again, this ratio on this
- 17:03chart right brought to us by incrementum measures, the S&P
- 17:08500 divided by the price of gold, which right now right is
- 17:13going to be sitting. Let me let me pull my markers
- 17:16out right here. That's where we are in that
- 17:19chart right at about 1.6 as you can see, right.
- 17:23So, so the lower that ratio goes when you divide the S&P 500 by
- 17:29gold, that means the higher the gold prices relative to the 11
- 17:34unit of the S&P 500. If we look back and he says this
- 17:40right, the average, well there it is right there.
- 17:42The median over all those years, what almost 130 years is .7.
- 17:49OK. The low down here in 1980 is .2.
- 17:55Now I put together some special homemade graphics for you.
- 18:01OK, on the bottom, as you can see on this right now, that's
- 18:07how you calculate where we are 7000 roughly.
- 18:12I know it's 7500, but I just use 7000 for the S&P 500 / 4500.
- 18:18Gold is 1.6 if if we want to get to that average, that's the
- 18:23circle up above of .7. That would be 7000 on the S&P
- 18:29500 if it dropped a little bit, divided by we would need $10,000
- 18:35gold if we wanted to get back. And that's the part in the star
- 18:40to where we were in 1980.2. OK, there's .2 and we had 7000
- 18:47on the S&P 500. The gold price would have to be
- 18:51at $35,000 per oz. This is not make believe
- 18:57fantasyland. Those are historical numbers and
- 19:01that is mathematics. So say what you like, believe
- 19:05what you like, because remember back in October of 2023 where we
- 19:10we were sitting at what was it, $1800 gold?
- 19:14Just 2 1/2 years ago, the idea of $4500 gold seemed
- 19:18preposterous. And we can look at the US debt
- 19:21clock and see from a fiscal perspective where the dollars
- 19:25headed. I think we're in for some great
- 19:27times in the gold price. And think about, think about
- 19:30even if we get to $10,000 gold, the median, right, the median
- 19:35amount over the last 130 years, a $10,000 gold, where do you
- 19:40think the silver price would be? Oh, yeah.
- 19:43Remember what we looked at earlier, that gold to silver
- 19:46ratio where it takes off. So very interesting.
- 19:49OK, The Paris Mint is now going to be selling.
- 19:53It's happening, selling gold coins.
- 19:55That was a big story that came out yesterday.
- 20:00And looks like I forgot to pull that one up, but basically the
- 20:04Paris Mint announced their sovereign minted gold coins.
- 20:08The world is waking up. And remember, what's what's cool
- 20:11about that is it was Paris that actually caused a France that
- 20:15caused Charles de Gaulle, the United States to go off the gold
- 20:19standard. In 1971.
- 20:21They sent battleships to the United States where they were
- 20:25going to demand they were going to convert paper dollars into
- 20:28real physical gold. And that's when President
- 20:31Richard Nixon came on TV on a Sunday night and said, I am
- 20:34temporarily removing the United States from the gold standard.
- 20:39What about price floors and critical minerals on an
- 20:44international basis? Let's go there next.
- 20:49Silver trade shared this big story yesterday.
- 20:52Price floors eminent Marco Rubio alludes to new critical mineral
- 20:57price floor policy to increase supply, says quote on supply
- 21:02chain resilience. Rubio said the Quad nations
- 21:06would launch a new framework focused on securing access to
- 21:10critical minerals. The third topic which we hear a
- 21:13lot about these days that we'll have some deliverables on today
- 21:17is the issue of critical minerals.
- 21:21And he says again, we'll add, we'll announce the Quad critical
- 21:25minerals framework, which will guide each of us to leverage
- 21:29economic policy tools and coordinate investment strength
- 21:32critical mineral supply chains, including in mining and
- 21:36processing and in the critical minerals.
- 21:39And shoot, I wanted to see here it is the four countries, there
- 21:44were four countries that were involved in this.
- 21:48Here we go. Let's see, US Secretary, it was
- 21:53at the endo these are Indo Pacific nations, shoot and
- 21:59there's a list somewhere which ones are involved.
- 22:01But at this point there's five nations involved in this, in
- 22:06these discussions. It's very interesting as on a
- 22:09nationwide basis. Now let's move on to this
- 22:13because there's a interesting, I smell a rat it with what's going
- 22:18on throughout that whole kind of Asian region.
- 22:21Now we get this headline news from Kitco.
- 22:24Malaysia follows India's example with a new 10% import duty on
- 22:30LBMA Gold Bars says after India's recent hike of import
- 22:34duties on precious metals, another large Asian market has
- 22:39followed suit. Malaysia's Customs department
- 22:42has announced that they will now target gold bars with a new tax,
- 22:47marking the country's first ever import duty on bullion.
- 22:53OK, next, next. OK, we're going to go over.
- 22:57And this came from Chris Marcus. We know there's a lot going on
- 23:01with India in terms of import duties, in terms of setting up
- 23:07new markets for gold and silver, in terms of their pricing on
- 23:10gold and silver. And he said this yesterday,
- 23:13premiums in India's have on silver have jumped even above
- 23:19the elevated premium that we already have in Shanghai.
- 23:23So if we look at the price yesterday in Shanghai, we were
- 23:26at 8525. And at that same time in India,
- 23:31wow, almost a full dollar higher at $86.63.
- 23:39Next. OK, in Asia, who's taking over
- 23:44silver trade share shares this and we talked about this big
- 23:46story earlier in the week. Singapore's ABEX silver exchange
- 23:51is now live in silver traded In Sync.
- 23:55I'm sorry, settled after trading in Singapore it just under $77
- 24:02per oz. But what's going on at the
- 24:04COMEX, you may may, may be asking.
- 24:08Pure Metals shares with us. The COMEX May silver deliveries
- 24:13just hit almost 28 and a half million ounces. 5684 delivery
- 24:22notices issued this month, BNBBNP Paribas and JP Morgan on
- 24:29the receiving end. And this is the big point.
- 24:32The biggest banks are not trading paper silver.
- 24:36They are taking physical delivery because we are living
- 24:41in a new paradigm, a new environment where physical metal
- 24:47demand is basically taking over the market, right.
- 24:52We we saw that happen all throughout 2025.
- 24:56Physical demand for silver is overtaking the paper market at
- 25:01the COMEX and the LBMA. Hong Kong is is setting up that
- 25:06part of China is setting up a new, a precious metals market,
- 25:11the equivalent of Brinks in China.
- 25:13And Hong Kong is building a massive, massive, a safe
- 25:19depository right next to the airport.
- 25:22This is a new world for the price of gold and silver where
- 25:27physical demand right, is overtaking.
- 25:30And the people in Singapore that set up that new exchange or new
- 25:33contract, they said it exactly because physical demand in Asia
- 25:38is, is, is becoming the powerful force, the defining source of
- 25:44demand for gold and silver. Now we're going to go to the
- 25:47negative side. Excuse me, we're going to we're
- 25:53going to look at a negative chart.
- 25:55This came from Northstar. Northstar puts out a lot of very
- 25:58positive things about the precious metals.
- 26:00But this was yesterday. And again, at least for the day,
- 26:04looks like he's right. He says gold.
- 26:06I'm sorry, but this chart still looks weak.
- 26:10But I saw something very interesting in the chart, which
- 26:14I think can give us continued reason for optimism.
- 26:18He's talking about the the red trend line there that we're
- 26:22below it. But guys, this support zone
- 26:25right here on this chart is still around the 4400 per oz
- 26:31price on gold and one more piece of doom and gloom, but I think
- 26:39actually spells good things and I'll explain to you why for the
- 26:42precious metals, Grant Cardone and he's got what?
- 26:46Wow, over 1,000,000 followers, he says.
- 26:49Are you concerned the US stock market is now the most
- 26:54overvalued in 50 years? In this chart, right shows the
- 27:00NASDAQ waiting for right there in the upper left corner, the
- 27:04USM 2 money supply. And as you can see on this
- 27:07chart, we make it a little bit smaller for us on this chart,
- 27:15OK, There, there's the Internet boom right here, OK?
- 27:21And when you factor in M2, there's the AI boom right here
- 27:26we are above. And that's the IXIC, which is
- 27:30the Nasdaq Composite Index. Again, factoring in the M2 money
- 27:36supply, we are at this bubble, bubble territory in the NASDAQ
- 27:43with AI where it seems like the stocks just go up and up the
- 27:47bet. The best way to to to watch this
- 27:49or to look at this is what's called the the Sox exchange SOXX
- 27:55or Sox index, I'm sorry, which is the Philadelphia
- 27:58Semiconductor index. It's been around for years and
- 28:01years and years. If you look at at a chart of the
- 28:04Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, it's crazy.
- 28:08It makes what happened in silver back in January look like
- 28:12child's play. I mean, it is just straight up.
- 28:15And again, guys, if just a trickle of the money that's NAI
- 28:21stocks were to move into the gold and silver sector, a gold
- 28:26mining stocks, silver mining stocks, physical gold, physical
- 28:30silver, it would be like like an unbelievable wave because the
- 28:35sector, especially the mining mining sector, and in particular
- 28:39the silver mining sector is so absolutely tiny.
- 28:43If you, when you look at charts of like the AI stocks market cap
- 28:48compared to the total gold mining market cap in the world
- 28:53and compared to the, so you can't even see it's so small,
- 28:57the silver mining sector in particular.
- 29:00And what does that mean for the future of the metals prices?
- 29:04That means there's been zero, well, not quite 0, but very,
- 29:09very little money invested into the silver and gold mining
- 29:14sectors. That means the future pipeline
- 29:17of the metals is restricted. And don't forget the big cherry
- 29:25on top for the silver mining sector is the fact that all this
- 29:30AI build out, they need incredible amounts of silver.
- 29:34And then we're not even talking about robots and a solid-state
- 29:38battery technology or solar, right?
- 29:41But just for AI, they need incredible amounts of silver
- 29:45going forward. But wait, there's more because
- 29:48they just don't need it Once all those chips that they put into
- 29:51all those processors to fuel AI, they need to be replaced.
- 29:56I mean, the shelf life on these things, the cycle life is
- 30:00extremely short because of technology advance, the
- 30:04processing speed advancements like it, they need to be
- 30:07replaced every two to three years.
- 30:09I think we're in for some great, great times to come in the
- 30:13precious metal sector. Please, basement dwellers, if
- 30:16you haven't already, subscribe to the channel.
