- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on seven ten wo.
- 0:07Speaker 3: R okay, Wednesday already, all right, we're getting it almost
- 0:12Speaker 3: a Friday. Now, it's gonna be a nice day today,
- 0:15Speaker 3: sun will be out. We got a lot to get to.
- 0:17Speaker 3: We'll get to a lot of interesting election results last night.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We'll get to missus mom, Donnie, she's got a little problem.
- 0:23Speaker 3: We'll get to crazy Kathy Hokle never heard of the
- 0:27Speaker 3: Pietre tar taxon now that's going down and flames. She
- 0:30Speaker 3: never heard of it. She didn't know about it. It's
- 0:32Speaker 3: not none of her business. We'll get to President Trump
- 0:36Speaker 3: and Iran. The latest strategy Bruce Blakeman pulling ahead in polls,
- 0:40Speaker 3: not ahead, but getting closer and closer. Looks like a
- 0:43Speaker 3: very very very good race for Blakeman. This is his
- 0:49Speaker 3: pattern in Last Long Island, when he ran way behind
- 0:55Speaker 3: and then he slowly but surely catches up ends up
- 0:58Speaker 3: winning big. And it's the same pattern here, slowly but
- 1:02Speaker 3: surely catching up to Kathy Hochel. And it's early. It's
- 1:05Speaker 3: only August. We're not even close yet. So a lot
- 1:08Speaker 3: to get to today. Hey, last night, all these different
- 1:10Speaker 3: races Governor Lamont Connecticut. There was a listen. Lamont can
- 1:19Speaker 3: be a good governor at times, successful business guy, has
- 1:23Speaker 3: some common sense, but every so often goes a little
- 1:26Speaker 3: too woke, a little too left. But the guy running
- 1:29Speaker 3: against him really left. So good news is Lamont beat
- 1:33Speaker 3: him in the primary. A lot of other parties around
- 1:35Speaker 3: the country is shrinking. We have a big tent. We're expanding.
- 1:38Speaker 4: That includes all the supporters, progressives, moderates, small business, labor.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah, they left that big tent thing, you know, because
- 1:50Speaker 3: he just beat a wacko left winger, So he's got
- 1:54Speaker 3: to appease that part of the parties. You talked about
- 1:57Speaker 3: that big tent. You remember, what does that mean? A
- 1:59Speaker 3: big tent like a circus. Big tent, Well the circus, Well,
- 2:03Speaker 3: big tent has elephants, clowns, donkeys. I don't know if
- 2:07Speaker 3: you want that big a tent. Hey, our buddy Mike
- 2:09Speaker 3: Lindell was running for governor of Minnesota and he was
- 2:13Speaker 3: in the primary last night and he got defeated. He
- 2:18Speaker 3: got wiped out last night. Now, I don't I haven't
- 2:20Speaker 3: talked to Mike Lindell in a long time. I think
- 2:23Speaker 3: there's not a lot of money there anymore with Mike Lindell.
- 2:25Speaker 3: You notice you don't hear any my pillow ads anymore.
- 2:28Speaker 3: They used to be every ten minutes on every radio station.
- 2:32Speaker 3: But also he did not have a lot of spending
- 2:35Speaker 3: in the campaign. He was outspent something like fifteen to one.
- 2:39Speaker 3: But Lindell lost last night.
- 2:41Speaker 5: If we don't find anything, you know, then obviously I
- 2:46Speaker 5: will get behind our party and give him every idea
- 2:50Speaker 5: and every plan we had to move our state forward
- 2:54Speaker 5: to get rid of the evil leadership we have now
- 2:56Speaker 5: in the state.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah, now I didn't like that. If we don't find anything,
- 3:00Speaker 3: is he going to start looking through a look for
- 3:02Speaker 3: voter fraud?
- 3:03Speaker 5: If we don't find anything, you know.
- 3:06Speaker 3: He did that with Dominion and and it cost him
- 3:09Speaker 3: a lot. It's a I would stay away from that
- 3:11Speaker 3: if I were him, But it's Minnesota. They are famous
- 3:16Speaker 3: for all kinds of voter shenanigans in Minnesota. It's a
- 3:19Speaker 3: crazy place. So he lost Lindsey Graham's sister one, but
- 3:26Speaker 3: just barely one. You know, this is not going to
- 3:28Speaker 3: be so easy to save that Lindsay Graham's seat. It's
- 3:31Speaker 3: not going to be that easy. Graham was not that
- 3:34Speaker 3: popular in South Carolina. So the sister ran for his seat.
- 3:40Speaker 3: President Trump got behind her, but she just barely squeaked by.
- 3:44Speaker 2: This is a very emotional night because I'm usually standing
- 3:49Speaker 2: here celebrating with Lindsay. So I know he's looking down
- 3:54Speaker 2: right now smiling though.
- 3:56Speaker 5: So that gives me peace.
- 3:58Speaker 4: But it's difficult.
- 4:00Speaker 3: But President Trump back in her.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, just so you understand, I like the other
- 4:03Speaker 1: people in the right, so also they're all trump I mean,
- 4:06Speaker 1: they're all Trumpers.
- 4:07Speaker 6: But you know, I endorsed her.
- 4:09Speaker 5: I think she's great. It's really in honor of her brother,
- 4:12Speaker 5: and she's really a very smart woman.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Okay, Now you know in Wisconsin that wacko socialist with
- 4:21Speaker 3: left wing not Francesca Hang was running in the primary.
- 4:26Speaker 3: She wants to be governor. She lost. The polls were wrong,
- 4:32Speaker 3: as they usually are. These are these public polls, these
- 4:35Speaker 3: you know, these fake junk polls, these college polls, these
- 4:38Speaker 3: media polls. They're all cheap, flimsy polls. She lost. She
- 4:42Speaker 3: is out. That's the good news. That's another socialist gone.
- 4:46Speaker 7: And I was.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Actually trying to become a sports journalist when I first
- 4:50Speaker 6: went to college, so I learned then you have some
- 4:54Speaker 6: hot takes sometimes bad takes on Twitter, and I let
- 4:57Speaker 6: my feelings out into the world.
- 4:59Speaker 3: You know that sports journalist. And now if you talk
- 5:03Speaker 3: like that, you're probably not going to be great at
- 5:04Speaker 3: doing sports. I don't think anybody I can't hear you
- 5:07Speaker 3: on ESPN if you talk like that, not going to
- 5:10Speaker 3: be great. So, uh, one by one, you got to
- 5:12Speaker 3: eliminate these socialists. It's not going to be easy. You
- 5:15Speaker 3: still got l sayad in Michigan. He's a Now she's
- 5:19Speaker 3: a she's got problems, but he's a slick talker. He's
- 5:24Speaker 3: a mom Donnie ish kind of, you know, looks pretty good,
- 5:27Speaker 3: talks pretty good kind of.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So I got to grow up watching or she'd a
- 5:30Speaker 1: be an elected official.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So she does like my older sister. Every time I
- 5:34Speaker 1: make a mistake, she's like, she's get the text stuff
- 5:36Speaker 1: because like like very much older sister energy, and I'm like,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry, apologize, I just I care.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's her with surely. But you notice that
- 5:45Speaker 3: these guys are very fast talking. It's like Mom Donnie.
- 5:47Speaker 3: They just talk very fast and they always got a
- 5:50Speaker 3: big smile.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Uh.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Hey, friend, Jimmy Fala putting out the one thing about
- 5:54Speaker 3: these socialists, they just say this stuff that sounds great
- 5:58Speaker 3: to their supporters. They just throw out some is that
- 6:00Speaker 3: sound great, free busses, defund the police, get rid of
- 6:04Speaker 3: the military. They just he points out that they just
- 6:07Speaker 3: throw this stuff out. But they never tell you what's next.
- 6:11Speaker 3: They just say this stuff and it, you know, sounds
- 6:14Speaker 3: great to the supporters who all start cheering, But they
- 6:17Speaker 3: never say what's next. Yeah, defund the police, what's next?
- 6:21Speaker 3: Crime wave, huge crime wave, close the prison, let the
- 6:25Speaker 3: prisoners out. Yeah, but they don't talk about what's next.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That was the Cuomo problem. You know, he was bragging
- 6:30Speaker 3: about his no bail, no jail. It caused a massive
- 6:34Speaker 3: crime wave. He had criminals running around all over the
- 6:37Speaker 3: street instead of locked up where they should be. Remember
- 6:39Speaker 3: Cuomo used to brag, you do these speeches about it.
- 6:42Speaker 3: He's so proud of closed more prisons than any other government. Yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 3: look what happened in a crime wave. So yeah, they
- 6:49Speaker 3: never talk about what's next. Tax the rich, they never
- 6:53Speaker 3: talk about what's next. You have the ritual leave, you
- 6:55Speaker 3: lose your tax base. Revenue drops dramatically, so out there
- 7:03Speaker 3: was no big, huge winner last night. So hang is out.
- 7:08Speaker 3: That means Amy Klobacher, remember her the Senator. She will
- 7:11Speaker 3: probably be the next governor of Minnesota, which is bad.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I mean, it's not as bad as this Tim Watz,
- 7:17Speaker 3: but the Clobatuer very big name and very popular in Minnesota.
- 7:23Speaker 3: She's a big candidate for governor of Minnesota.
- 7:25Speaker 8: My goal is to keep what's right and fix what's wrong.
- 7:29Speaker 8: That's why I'll launch on day one a top to
- 7:32Speaker 8: bottom audit of state government to root out the waste
- 7:36Speaker 8: and the abuse and the fraud.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Democrats going to do that. Remember they had Elon
- 7:42Speaker 3: must do that, and all of you Democrats, including you Klobucher,
- 7:45Speaker 3: chase them out of Washington. Now Darry do a top
- 7:47Speaker 3: to bottom audit. How Darry get rid of waste in front?
- 7:50Speaker 3: No Democrats, they go nuts if you try to get
- 7:53Speaker 3: rid of waste in fraud. So what happens in twenty
- 7:55Speaker 3: twenty eight? We don't have a twenty twenty eight candidate.
- 7:58Speaker 3: There is nobody out there, nobody. So you got Kamala
- 8:03Speaker 3: Harris looking like the front runner. Again, not really, she
- 8:05Speaker 3: looks like the front runner, but that's because it's suddenly
- 8:08Speaker 3: a vacuum. Newsom's gone. So in this vacuum, there's nobody else,
- 8:12Speaker 3: so they all look at her. But everybody talking about
- 8:15Speaker 3: you know that Senator John Kennedy, the Southern guy with
- 8:19Speaker 3: all the great little ways of saying things. So he's
- 8:23Speaker 3: on Hannity going after Kamala Harris, unst.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Vice President Harris, no disrespect, but Vice President Harris is
- 8:32Speaker 4: no longer relevant. She had her shot and she missed.
- 8:37Speaker 4: She can cozy up to the lu Mu Lenin's all
- 8:41Speaker 4: she wants to. But she has me confused with somebody
- 8:45Speaker 4: who cares what she thinks.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I mean, she's yesterday. So a lot of people talking
- 8:50Speaker 3: about that little phraser is the Lulu Lenins. That's a
- 8:55Speaker 3: good way to describe it. That's one thing Kennedy is
- 8:57Speaker 3: famous for, it just coming up with the most colorful
- 9:00Speaker 3: descriptions of things. But so Harris is in the lead
- 9:05Speaker 3: only because it's a vacuum. There's like nobody else except
- 9:11Speaker 3: lurking on the horizon, crawling out of the grave, crawling
- 9:16Speaker 3: out of her crypt. Hillary Clinton, she's back, She's all
- 9:21Speaker 3: over the place. She wants this nomination. She's again. She's
- 9:26Speaker 3: the old woman in Sunset Boulevard thinking she can make
- 9:29Speaker 3: a comeback. It's a sad, sad political story. Hillary Clinton,
- 9:33Speaker 3: she's the first lady, she's the senator, she's the Secretary
- 9:37Speaker 3: of State. She screws up everything she touches, but she
- 9:41Speaker 3: thinks she can win. So she finally her moment comes
- 9:43Speaker 3: twenty sixteen. This is her moment. She runs her President.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Donald Trump, a total amateur, never been in politics, takes
- 9:52Speaker 3: it away from her. And I remember the last time
- 9:55Speaker 3: she ran for the nomination. Barack Obama, a guy with
- 10:01Speaker 3: no experience, a guy was a senator for five minutes
- 10:03Speaker 3: before that, he was a community organized, no resume, wiped
- 10:07Speaker 3: her out, wiped her out, took the nomination from her.
- 10:10Speaker 3: So it's a sad story. So she sits up there
- 10:13Speaker 3: in Chappaqua and alone in that big house, drinking and
- 10:18Speaker 3: like the old woman in Sunset Boulevard, plotting that comeback.
- 10:22Speaker 3: So now she's doing a lot of TV shows and
- 10:24Speaker 3: she's trying to show that she can go after Donald Trump.
- 10:27Speaker 3: You want a Trump basher, You want somebody to stop Trump?
- 10:30Speaker 3: Why that's me? Well, everybody remembers twenty sixteen. You got
- 10:34Speaker 3: wiped out in three debates. You were the worst at
- 10:36Speaker 3: stopping him. In fact, it's because a UI's president because
- 10:39Speaker 3: she couldn't stop him. So she's going after everything. You know,
- 10:42Speaker 3: Trump wants to build things in Washington, the ballroom, the arch.
- 10:47Speaker 3: That arch would look like the Arcta Triumph in Paris, magnificent,
- 10:52Speaker 3: you know where all the boulevards come together. It's beautiful.
- 10:54Speaker 3: So it's a nice idea to have one in Washington.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Nothing to do with Trump. It would just be a
- 10:59Speaker 3: beautiful another beautiful monument in Washington. But there she is
- 11:02Speaker 3: going after that. She's running around doing every podcast, every show,
- 11:05Speaker 3: every this city.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I think they'll have to be some well, probably have
- 11:10Speaker 2: take down the arch, which she is determined to put up,
- 11:15Speaker 2: which I think is just just a terrible idea. I
- 11:18Speaker 2: think we'll have to worry about the reflecting pool because
- 11:21Speaker 2: it's not going to be fixed by the time he leaves.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It'll be fine. So that's she's admitting when a Democrat,
- 11:28Speaker 3: if if a Democrat ever takes office, he's going to
- 11:31Speaker 3: start tearing down things, tear down the arch, tear down
- 11:34Speaker 3: the ballroom, all of this. But here's this woman, I
- 11:37Speaker 3: don't know who else she thinks she's talking to anymore.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Sad that it's so tackied up, and it is it's
- 11:45Speaker 2: a reflection of, you know, his narcissistic personality and his
- 11:50Speaker 2: need to feel important, including sticking gold embellishments all over
- 11:56Speaker 2: the walls of the noble office.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Well, she's not entirely wrong on that. I like what
- 12:03Speaker 3: he did putting some gold in the office, a little
- 12:05Speaker 3: trim there, but he did put a little too much.
- 12:10Speaker 3: It's a little too much. It looks like a queen
- 12:13Speaker 3: of her side, that woman in bok Ratan who overdecorates
- 12:16Speaker 3: her hat. It looks a little like that. And it's
- 12:19Speaker 3: nice to put those beautiful old paintings of the president
- 12:22Speaker 3: up on the walls, but maybe maybe five or six,
- 12:25Speaker 3: not one hundred and fifty of them in not every
- 12:28Speaker 3: inch of the wall. So she may have a point there,
- 12:30Speaker 3: But every president comes in changes the oval office. They
- 12:34Speaker 3: repaint it, They changed the carpet, the curtains. Sometimes they
- 12:37Speaker 3: changed the desk. So, yeah, you will have to You're
- 12:41Speaker 3: gonna have to remove some of that gold. You're not
- 12:43Speaker 3: wrong about that one. But she thinks it's kind of
- 12:47Speaker 3: sad that he has an ego like he's trying to
- 12:49Speaker 3: feel important. Well, first of all, he's literally the most
- 12:54Speaker 3: important man in the world, literally he's the biggest guy
- 12:57Speaker 3: in the world. He's the most famous man on earth, literally,
- 13:01Speaker 3: so you don't really have to worry about feeling important.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Second of all, talking about feeling trying to feel important,
- 13:08Speaker 3: look at her running around pontificating about everything. You know,
- 13:11Speaker 3: Trump's got a problem coming up. I don't know if
- 13:13Speaker 3: he's ever thought about this. He was a real estate developer.
- 13:18Speaker 3: They did a lot of stuff. Brooklyn Queens comes to Manhattan,
- 13:20Speaker 3: conquers Manhattan, becomes a bit of a famous guy, becomes famous,
- 13:26Speaker 3: then he becomes more famous. Then he just kept rising
- 13:30Speaker 3: and rising and right util he's like very He became
- 13:32Speaker 3: like the most famous business guy in America. Then he
- 13:36Speaker 3: gets a TV show and he becomes the number one
- 13:39Speaker 3: show on television. He conquers TV. He builds apartment buildings
- 13:44Speaker 3: all over and he'd be the biggest apartment buildings all
- 13:46Speaker 3: over the place. Then he decides he'll build golf courses
- 13:49Speaker 3: and hotels, which he hadn't done before. But he starts
- 13:52Speaker 3: doing it, and all of a sudden, he's got a
- 13:54Speaker 3: million scau He's a big success in the hotel world,
- 13:58Speaker 3: big success in the golf world being the golf and
- 14:01Speaker 3: then he decides we'll go into politics. He gets elected
- 14:04Speaker 3: President of the United States. That's pretty impressive. You ever,
- 14:08Speaker 3: you know, ever see an amateur try to run for
- 14:10Speaker 3: I'll run for mayor a total amateur, or you know,
- 14:12Speaker 3: I'll run for Congress. Once in a while they make it.
- 14:15Speaker 3: But a total amateur, first first attempt at anything, runs for
- 14:18Speaker 3: president and wins. Then he wins again second time president.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Now he's the biggest guy on earth. But he's a
- 14:24Speaker 3: guy who always keeps rising to the next level, always
- 14:27Speaker 3: achieving the next thing, always climbing the So the problem
- 14:31Speaker 3: now is what does he do next. He's done. I
- 14:33Speaker 3: don't know if he realizes it. There's nowhere else to
- 14:36Speaker 3: go after this. You can't get any bigger than this.
- 14:40Speaker 3: It's pretty much. It's it. There's nothing else he can do.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I don't know if he's thought about that, but knowing him,
- 14:46Speaker 3: he'll think of something that nobody ever thought of, no
- 14:49Speaker 3: ex president ever thought of. So hey, the latest poll
- 14:53Speaker 3: has Bruce Blakeman within ten points. Now, he's really within
- 14:57Speaker 3: about six points in the real pl These are the
- 15:00Speaker 3: deadly accurate, very expensive private polls that the candidates use.
- 15:05Speaker 3: He's really within about six points, but in public these
- 15:09Speaker 3: public poles, you see, they're all junk polls. They're very
- 15:12Speaker 3: very cheap they use, they're so flimsy, they use very
- 15:15Speaker 3: few voters, and they rig them against the Republican They
- 15:19Speaker 3: usually put Republicans. Most of these poles they put it in.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Republicans are twenty three percent of the sample. They should
- 15:24Speaker 3: be thirty six percent. They don't use likely voters. They
- 15:28Speaker 3: use what they call adults, which means whoever the hell
- 15:31Speaker 3: they want to use, and they use the wrong demos.
- 15:35Speaker 3: So they're not very good. But even in the fake polls,
- 15:38Speaker 3: the junk polls, the college polls, the media polls, Blakeman
- 15:43Speaker 3: is catching up, catching up fast. So that's not a
- 15:46Speaker 3: good sign for Kathy Hokeel. Hey, we've got a lot
- 15:49Speaker 3: to get to this morning, a lot of good stuff
- 15:50Speaker 3: to talk about. We'll get to Iran, the new Trump
- 15:53Speaker 3: plan for Iran. We'll get to Yeah, hey, speaking of
- 15:56Speaker 3: what are they up to? Hunter Biden, who's all of
- 15:59Speaker 3: a sudden everywhere, what the hell is he up to?
- 16:01Speaker 3: And missus mom Donnie got a real slap in the face.
- 16:05Speaker 3: We'll get to that and more coming up to Mark
- 16:07Speaker 3: Simone here nine to noon every day, we started an
- 16:10Speaker 3: hour earlier. Oh you're listening, well, I guess you know that,
- 16:13Speaker 3: but some of our listeners don't. It's now nine to
- 16:16Speaker 3: noon every weekday here on seven to ten. W Mark
- 16:21Speaker 3: Simone Show Marks on seven double off Faye. So uh oh,
- 16:28Speaker 3: there's another race. Now, this is Minnesota. Minnesota's a crazy
- 16:32Speaker 3: left wing, kooky place. The lieutenant governor, you got that
- 16:38Speaker 3: ridiculous governor, Waltz. And then the lieutenant governor is Peggy Flanagan,
- 16:42Speaker 3: who's a real wacko left winger. She did win in
- 16:45Speaker 3: the primary last night. She's running for senate. Now she's
- 16:48Speaker 3: running for senate, but she won the Democratic primary for Senate.
- 16:53Speaker 3: She's got all the typical left wing woke Ice. She
- 16:56Speaker 3: wants to blow up Ice, blow up Ice and custom
- 17:01Speaker 3: Donald Trump's out of control Ice force. She will shut
- 17:04Speaker 3: it down. We need to rip Ice apart and stop them.
- 17:10Speaker 3: But again it goes back to what we were saying,
- 17:11Speaker 3: they never tell you what's next. We'll get rid of ice.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Then they never tell you what's next. Illegals coming in
- 17:18Speaker 3: all over the place. You know, one reason the border
- 17:21Speaker 3: is closed. Without building a complete wall, the border is
- 17:26Speaker 3: absolutely closed. Nobody is crossing the border. One reason is ICE,
- 17:31Speaker 3: believe it or not, that way down wherever they're coming from,
- 17:33Speaker 3: they know what's going on. They know about ICE, they
- 17:35Speaker 3: know about Tom Holman, they know about detention centers just
- 17:39Speaker 3: that close down the border. So she would rip that
- 17:43Speaker 3: out anyway she did win the Senate primary, show she
- 17:46Speaker 3: would be replacing if she wins Amy Klobashier. Now, this
- 17:51Speaker 3: was another defeat for Chuck Schumer, who backed the you know,
- 17:57Speaker 3: more mainstream candidates, So another defeat for Schumer. Schumer is finished.
- 18:01Speaker 3: He has absolutely no clout anywhere in the Democratic Party.
- 18:07Speaker 3: He's just a tired old fossil. And we can even
- 18:10Speaker 3: figure out why he's still there. And he's only there
- 18:13Speaker 3: because he's got nowhere else to go right now, So
- 18:15Speaker 3: the Pieta tear tax is going to get probably shot
- 18:18Speaker 3: down in the end, courts will probably toss the whole
- 18:21Speaker 3: thing out. Now one thing they've got going for, well,
- 18:24Speaker 3: a couple of things. One, the way they're doing it
- 18:27Speaker 3: is so preposterous. Normally, if you live somewhere, let you know,
- 18:33Speaker 3: some people say they're a Florida resident, and maybe they're not.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Maybe they're in New York too much. So all of
- 18:39Speaker 3: a sudden, the government will, you know, look for evidence
- 18:44Speaker 3: or if you have a Pieta tear the government knows everything.
- 18:48Speaker 3: They've got your addresses, your tax forms, everything, so they'll
- 18:53Speaker 3: accuse you maybe. But the way they're doing this Pieta
- 18:56Speaker 3: tear tax is everybody's accused and then everybody has to
- 19:00Speaker 3: prove their innocent. It's the opposite of American justice. Normally,
- 19:03Speaker 3: you're innocent till proven guilty, and the Hoko Mom donnie
- 19:07Speaker 3: system is you're guilty now you've got to prove you're innocent,
- 19:10Speaker 3: which doesn't make any sense. So that's one reason the
- 19:13Speaker 3: court that tossed out. The other is the stupid rollout
- 19:17Speaker 3: where they just put everybody's name and address into a
- 19:21Speaker 3: database and put it online. It's public, anybody can see it.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It's got everybody's name and address. It's like doxing people.
- 19:28Speaker 3: And when you talk about Pieta terrors, you're talking about
- 19:30Speaker 3: a lot of wealthy people, but you're also talking about famous people,
- 19:33Speaker 3: famous movie stars, famous, this famous that they don't want
- 19:37Speaker 3: their address up on a website where anybody could get it.
- 19:40Speaker 3: So the court mention that all of this stuff's going
- 19:43Speaker 3: to get torn down taken down, and it's a pretty
- 19:47Speaker 3: good case against the Pieta tear at tacks. Also, you
- 19:50Speaker 3: can't just single out a group and just tax the
- 19:53Speaker 3: hell out of them, you know, you can't just do that.
- 19:57Speaker 3: So this is probably all going to get tossed out.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Kathy Hochle is now pretending she never heard of this,
- 20:02Speaker 3: She doesn't know anything about it. She said, oh, that rollout,
- 20:05Speaker 3: why that was terrible. Well, it's it's her tax. It
- 20:08Speaker 3: was the legislature that passed it, but she was pushing it.
- 20:11Speaker 3: She and the legislature pushed it, pushed it, and she's
- 20:15Speaker 3: the one that signed it. Now, where did the piere
- 20:17Speaker 3: Te tax start? You can blame Cuomo, as you can
- 20:21Speaker 3: for most bad things in New York. It was actually
- 20:24Speaker 3: a little known, unknown state legislator. He first proposed the
- 20:28Speaker 3: thing in Albany. Cuomo got a hold of it. He's
- 20:31Speaker 3: the one that really really really made it, made it public,
- 20:35Speaker 3: made it big, made it. It was Cuomo pushing the
- 20:37Speaker 3: Pietre terror tax. Luckily he got run out of town.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Remember he had a flea Albany with the with the
- 20:42Speaker 3: police chasing him. So but it's Mom, Donnie and company
- 20:46Speaker 3: that brought it back. Hey, speaking of which we're telling
- 20:50Speaker 3: yesterday Mom, Donnie's wife, Uh, what's her name, Rama Douagi
- 20:56Speaker 3: is taking a little vacation. She's going to go to Syria.
- 21:00Speaker 3: She's going to go to Lebanon. Sounds like a fun vacation. Now,
- 21:04Speaker 3: she is SyRI and her parents are Muslim Syrian Muslims,
- 21:09Speaker 3: so she wanted to have and she had said she
- 21:12Speaker 3: would have. They said she would have an NYPD detail
- 21:16Speaker 3: with her. Now, these are two dangerous places right now,
- 21:20Speaker 3: Syria and Lebanon. In fact, they're on the list from
- 21:23Speaker 3: the State Department of Countries too dangerous for Americans to visit.
- 21:28Speaker 3: So the NYPD very concerned because, first of all, Rama
- 21:34Speaker 3: Duaji and Syrian Lebanon will be fine, as many have said,
- 21:38Speaker 3: Hezbollah will protect her, Hamasil protector, the Hoodies will protect her.
- 21:42Speaker 3: But the NYPD detail would be at great risk in
- 21:46Speaker 3: those countries where they hate us. And there's a State
- 21:49Speaker 3: Department warning I do not travel embargo on those places.
- 21:54Speaker 3: So it's dangerous for the NYPD. Well, now it turns
- 21:57Speaker 3: out the Commissioner, Jessica Tish, says she will not send
- 22:01Speaker 3: that detail. City Hall redfaced, very embarrassed, looks bad for Mom, Donnie.
- 22:09Speaker 3: He's pinning. It's interesting this is how he handles it.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Instead of going after Tish. He's blaming his staff for
- 22:15Speaker 3: screwing it up. He's blaming the staff for miscommunication for
- 22:19Speaker 3: screwing it up. But the police Commissioner will not send
- 22:23Speaker 3: a detail to those countries with her, And the commissioner said,
- 22:28Speaker 3: quote the NYPD does not send officers to countries with
- 22:33Speaker 3: Level four travel advisories for discretionary reasons. In other words,
- 22:40Speaker 3: they never send anybody to a Level four country for
- 22:43Speaker 3: just you know, discretionary things that's not linked to actual
- 22:48Speaker 3: investigative work. If it was important investigative work, they might
- 22:52Speaker 3: send somebody. But she said the commissioner, this is not
- 22:55Speaker 3: investigative trip. Therefore NYPD personnel will not be traveling there
- 23:01Speaker 3: for it. And there's a lot of people in the
- 23:06Speaker 3: in the rama Dewaji security detail going because I don't
- 23:11Speaker 3: think they wanted to go to Syria or Elebanon. Doesn't
- 23:13Speaker 3: sound like a lot of fun right now. Anyway, we
- 23:15Speaker 3: got a lot to get to. We'll take some calls
- 23:17Speaker 3: a little later on and we'll get to Iran. The
- 23:21Speaker 3: president has a new strategy now see what you think
- 23:23Speaker 3: of that, all that and more. Just ahead, Mark Simone
- 23:26Speaker 3: here nine to noon, every morning here on seven to
- 23:30Speaker 3: ten WR.
- 23:31Speaker 8: It's the Mark Simon Show, Live from the WR Life
- 23:36Speaker 8: Back studios.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Hey, we'll take some calls in in a minute. Eight
- 23:43Speaker 3: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 23:47Speaker 3: You can talk about whatever you want, but let me
- 23:49Speaker 3: know what you think of the new first hour nine
- 23:52Speaker 3: to noon ideas, suggestions. This always goes badly whenever you
- 23:57Speaker 3: do that. But eight hundred three to two zero seven
- 24:01Speaker 3: to ten is the number that Mangioni Luigi Mangioni trial
- 24:06Speaker 3: about to get underway. It's going to be a real,
- 24:10Speaker 3: real circus now. The judge has made all kinds of rulings,
- 24:13Speaker 3: so many people want to be there. There will be
- 24:16Speaker 3: in an overflow room because eighty extra news organizations are expected,
- 24:22Speaker 3: eighty more than usual. And then you got these whatever
- 24:26Speaker 3: they call them, these Luigi Mangione groupies that are all
- 24:30Speaker 3: over the place. There's going to be tons of fans
- 24:33Speaker 3: out believe or not. This mass not mass, but this
- 24:37Speaker 3: vicious killer has all kinds of fans, so they'll be
- 24:40Speaker 3: outside cheering. And the judge has ruled that the jurors.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Everybody working on the case, jurors, prosecutors will be anonymous
- 24:51Speaker 3: because there is potential for intimidation and harassment by the
- 24:56Speaker 3: accused killers sickest fans you see every No matter how
- 25:01Speaker 3: bad you are, you're gonna have fans. Whether you're El Sayad,
- 25:05Speaker 3: whether you're Luichi Manngi Own. No matter what crazy things
- 25:08Speaker 3: you say or do, you will have fans. There's a
- 25:12Speaker 3: lot of fight now for having cameras in the courtroom.
- 25:15Speaker 3: That's not gonna happen. I don't think so. But and
- 25:19Speaker 3: they're fighting over you know what, evidence. Every INChO Manhattan
- 25:23Speaker 3: has a surveillance camera on it. In this shooting, which
- 25:26Speaker 3: took place right over there, right across the street from here,
- 25:30Speaker 3: there's surveillance cameras everywhere. You can see the shooting from
- 25:34Speaker 3: every angle you can see it. I don't know what
- 25:36Speaker 3: the I don't know what the trial's even for. You
- 25:39Speaker 3: got him, I don't know why it doesn't just confess
- 25:41Speaker 3: they got him. Here it is on video. You can
- 25:43Speaker 3: watch him do the whole thing. Then you can see
- 25:46Speaker 3: him run into that They call it an alley, but
- 25:49Speaker 3: it's actually as Fisher Park. It's quite beautiful between two buildings,
- 25:54Speaker 3: and then it came right over this way, and you
- 25:58Speaker 3: can see him change his close. You can see every anyway.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two one
- 26:04Speaker 3: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Mike
- 26:08Speaker 3: in Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark As Mike, I'm back in the car.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Oh good, I was driving Florida. As if you have
- 26:18Speaker 3: to go, it's Florida. What do you think exactly?
- 26:21Speaker 1: I drive around in circles. Okay, yeah, what with Clinton?
- 26:26Speaker 1: The Hillary Clinton fails to mention is that Trump had
- 26:29Speaker 1: to put all that gold on the walls to hide
- 26:31Speaker 1: all the stains shoe.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Okay, wait a minute. Actually, you know, it's actually kind
- 26:40Speaker 3: of a myth. The encounter with President Clinton and Monica
- 26:45Speaker 3: was not actually in that room. It's the Oval office.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Is that big Oval office. But then there's a little
- 26:51Speaker 3: you see one of those doors. You go down a
- 26:53Speaker 3: little little hallway into the private office. That's the president's
- 26:58Speaker 3: private office. And then also there's a little private dining
- 27:02Speaker 3: room there. So that's where all the Clinton uh cigar yeah, escapades,
- 27:09Speaker 3: that's where it took place. It wasn't actually in the
- 27:11Speaker 3: actual Oval office.
- 27:12Speaker 1: But well, and there's also our tier stayings probably all
- 27:15Speaker 1: over the you know, like Hillaris tear stayings all over
- 27:18Speaker 1: the walls as well, So it's, you know, either way,
- 27:21Speaker 1: it's good to be covered up. I liked, I liked
- 27:24Speaker 1: the first hour. I would have preferred, you know, I
- 27:26Speaker 1: think like many people i've heard speak you know on
- 27:28Speaker 1: the you know, coll In say they would preferred it
- 27:30Speaker 1: from ten to one. But I understand why they did.
- 27:33Speaker 3: I can't move Bucking Clay, very popular show. Everybody loves
- 27:37Speaker 3: Bucking Clare. They're up to like ten million listeners now, doing.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Very very Are you thinking of maybe adding a guest
- 27:44Speaker 1: in the first hour like you're doing the second and
- 27:46Speaker 1: third hour now, or you're still feeling.
- 27:48Speaker 3: The way around we don't need a guest doing in
- 27:50Speaker 3: the first hour.
- 27:52Speaker 1: No, I don't think so. I think it's I think
- 27:54Speaker 1: the way it's set up is nice.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Some shows that are all guests, they'll have like thirty
- 27:58Speaker 3: seven guests every show. You think they're getting pissed, but
- 28:01Speaker 3: you have something to say.
- 28:02Speaker 7: You're smart and.
- 28:03Speaker 1: You have something to say those those hosts don't have
- 28:05Speaker 1: anything to say, so you need to steal it up with.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Well, no, you know what it is. If I'm listening
- 28:08Speaker 3: to a show and they go, coming up next, we're
- 28:10Speaker 3: going to talk to Senator Ron Johnson. I don't want
- 28:13Speaker 3: to hear that for ten minutes. Who almost listen to
- 28:15Speaker 3: Ron Johnson? I mean, he's a nice guy. I love
- 28:19Speaker 3: him as a senator, but I don't want to hear him.
- 28:21Speaker 1: You know, I'm with you.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I'm with you, all right, thanks for calling. You know.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I love Mike Johnson. He's great, the speaker of that.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Love the guy. But sometimes I you know, you run
- 28:31Speaker 3: into him, or you're sitting with him on the couch
- 28:32Speaker 3: in the green room and you got to make conversation
- 28:35Speaker 3: for ten minutes. It's not a lot of fun. It's
- 28:38Speaker 3: you know, you don't need all that. I mean, there's
- 28:40Speaker 3: some guests you want to hear, but ninety percent of
- 28:43Speaker 3: them you really don't need. Let's go to Rich in
- 28:47Speaker 3: Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing?
- 28:49Speaker 5: Hey?
- 28:50Speaker 7: Thanks?
- 28:50Speaker 6: Mark?
- 28:50Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 28:51Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 28:51Speaker 7: I like the first hour, you know, and guess what's
- 28:54Speaker 7: a while would be good? But a setup pretty well
- 28:56Speaker 7: the way it is. You know, no, no, did the
- 29:00Speaker 7: ficialist country other than the president should ever have a
- 29:03Speaker 7: security detail paid for by the American taxpayer if they're
- 29:06Speaker 7: leaving this country, like when Polosi and all those people
- 29:09Speaker 7: went over to see what's his name over there in Ukraine.
- 29:13Speaker 7: None of us should be paid for by taxpayer.
- 29:15Speaker 3: You go somewhere vacation official, especially in Congress, they do
- 29:19Speaker 3: have to make a foreign trip for some legitimate government purpose.
- 29:24Speaker 7: Well you went on a lot of them, like they're
- 29:25Speaker 7: taking all their friends on the air force plane like
- 29:28Speaker 7: Pelosi didn't. So we shouldn't be paying for that stuff.
- 29:30Speaker 7: And down here. When I came home last night, Lindsey
- 29:34Speaker 7: Graham's sister was in a runoff with the Ralph Norman,
- 29:39Speaker 7: the second place winning nobody reached fifty percent. I don't
- 29:42Speaker 7: know why w R is reporting that she won her primary.
- 29:45Speaker 3: She didn't well check into it, but I think everybody
- 29:47Speaker 3: else is reporting that. But we'll see, we'll see. He's
- 29:50Speaker 3: not that pocket you have to hit. You're in South Carolina,
- 29:53Speaker 3: right right, And Lindsey Graham is not as popular as
- 29:57Speaker 3: we might believe in South Carolina.
- 29:59Speaker 7: So it's not not at all, and the sister's going
- 30:01Speaker 7: to be even less popular. Listen is still a red stake.
- 30:03Speaker 7: She's still gonna win if if she ends up winning
- 30:05Speaker 7: the primary against Ralph Norman, who's a career politician. Swamp
- 30:09Speaker 7: monster down here. You know, it's between besides the inbreeding
- 30:13Speaker 7: and all the backdoor policies down here and the politicians.
- 30:16Speaker 7: This is old school Southern you know politics down here.
- 30:21Speaker 7: No matter who runs, if they're read, they're going to
- 30:23Speaker 7: win this state, all right. It's just the corruption that
- 30:26Speaker 7: is unbelievable down here.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Well, thanks for the insight. He is
- 30:31Speaker 3: in South Carolina, Thanks for calling. Yeah. Does sometimes these
- 30:34Speaker 3: congress people it is a legitimate trip, like if they're
- 30:37Speaker 3: going over to Ukraine to meet with Zolenski, that can
- 30:40Speaker 3: be a legitimate government purpose, so taxpayers, I guess should
- 30:43Speaker 3: pay for it, although I don't know. Can't you zoom
- 30:47Speaker 3: with the guy me you ever really have to go
- 30:49Speaker 3: over there? And then a lot of these government trips
- 30:51Speaker 3: they create a government purpose because they all want to
- 30:54Speaker 3: go to Paris or something, and these government you know,
- 30:57Speaker 3: when a bunch of congressmen go on one of these, John,
- 31:00Speaker 3: it's very often it's a big military plane, and many
- 31:04Speaker 3: times the congressman the military plane there is a bit
- 31:07Speaker 3: of a cargo plane as well. Now, why would they
- 31:09Speaker 3: need a cargo type plane. Well, because if they're going
- 31:13Speaker 3: to visit the South Korea to talk with leaders in
- 31:16Speaker 3: South Korea, and congressmen have told me this. Some are
- 31:19Speaker 3: pretty honest and they don't like it. As they come
- 31:22Speaker 3: back to the plane, they noticed the cargo hold is
- 31:24Speaker 3: being loaded up with TVs, with washing machines, with Samsung
- 31:29Speaker 3: stuff and LG and South Korean product because they're all
- 31:33Speaker 3: gifts for the congressman and they'll bring them all back.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Let's go to one more. Carl in Sayerville, New Jersey. Carl,
- 31:41Speaker 3: how you doing, Hi?
- 31:42Speaker 7: Mark?
- 31:43Speaker 9: You know, I got a kick out of Acastio. Courte's
- 31:47Speaker 9: going on these talk shows on like Sunday or on
- 31:50Speaker 9: a weekend, and no one asks her how come she
- 31:53Speaker 9: denied Amazon from going in her district to build a facility.
- 31:58Speaker 9: No one asks her or anything about that.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Well, that's why they call it fake news because if
- 32:03Speaker 3: you watch the networks, if you watch CNN, MSNBC, really
- 32:07Speaker 3: not getting any real news because they'll never ask they'll
- 32:12Speaker 3: leave out three quarters of the story. You're right, they
- 32:14Speaker 3: won't ask certain questions. They'll never ask anything. You know,
- 32:18Speaker 3: if the mom Donnie could do an interview, they'll never
- 32:20Speaker 3: say to them, hey, what happened those free buses. You
- 32:22Speaker 3: never came through with the free buses, and it's a problem.
- 32:27Speaker 3: You know, again, meet the press, LSIID. They never asked
- 32:30Speaker 3: him anything. A Cassio Cortes, she was on the Sunday
- 32:33Speaker 3: Morning Show with Jonathan carl never asked her half the
- 32:37Speaker 3: things she's supposed to ask her. So yeah, let me
- 32:40Speaker 3: just point out it is true. Lindsey Graham's sister just
- 32:43Speaker 3: advances to the next round. Nobody got over fifty percent.
- 32:47Speaker 3: She will face Norman in a runoff, so she has
- 32:49Speaker 3: not won the nomination yet. She will face him in
- 32:54Speaker 3: a runoff. That's August twenty fifth, so there will be
- 32:58Speaker 3: a runoff, but she has advanced to the next level. Hey,
- 33:01Speaker 3: the other thing is Florida. You want you want a
- 33:04Speaker 3: new governor. You're losing Ron DeSantis because of term limits.
- 33:07Speaker 3: He's been a great governor, but you need a replacement.
- 33:12Speaker 3: That there is Byron Donalds, who'd be the best choice.
- 33:15Speaker 3: That primary is coming up next Tuesday. It'll be the
- 33:18Speaker 3: Florida governor primary. Now on the Republican side, he got
- 33:22Speaker 3: like twelve candidates. Only a couple are really really have
- 33:26Speaker 3: a shot. So keep an eye on that next week.
- 33:29Speaker 3: He don't forget. I'm here nine to noon every day.
- 33:31Speaker 3: It's three hours now night. We start at nine o'clock now,
- 33:34Speaker 3: nine to noon every weekday. Then at noon it's Bucking
- 33:38Speaker 3: Clay with an excellent show. And then you got the
- 33:41Speaker 3: most listen to radio show in America. You got Sean
- 33:44Speaker 3: Handity three o'clock, you got Jesse Kelly at six o'clock,
- 33:48Speaker 3: very funny Jimmy Fayla every night nine to midnight, and
- 33:51Speaker 3: that's all here on seven ten WR it's the Mark
- 33:55Speaker 3: Simone Show on seven tenor well, not a bad day today,
- 34:03Speaker 3: looks like it's a very very very slight I got
- 34:06Speaker 3: ten percent chance of reverber. This should be a nice day,
- 34:08Speaker 3: a little less humid today, and then it gets better
- 34:10Speaker 3: and better every day of the week. It is a
- 34:13Speaker 3: slight chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow, but otherwise less humid
- 34:16Speaker 3: than a lot less humid on the weekend. Should be
- 34:19Speaker 3: a lot of sunshine, so it should be pretty nice.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Now.
- 34:21Speaker 3: I don't forget. I start at nine o'clock now, it's
- 34:24Speaker 3: nine to noon every weekday. So if you still tune
- 34:28Speaker 3: in ten, you're missing the first hour nine to noon
- 34:31Speaker 3: every day. Back after the news with a lot to
- 34:33Speaker 3: get to coming up on seven to ten wor
