  been trying to do monthly, which is go through the new 3D scopes,

  kind of give people a pointer about what we think is cool and

  what's just out there and what might work with some figures.

  Because I think the the fashion these days is actually to be

  Yeah, cool. Well, we got some news and and

  1st up here was the All Star 6 little bit of news about the
• 6:54
  arrival dates for Orleans, address changes and tariff
• 6:58
  information. So tariff, I know that's quite a
• 7:02
  politically charged thing these days, so we'll try and stick to
• 7:06
  the facts for the most part. I'm just going to read bits of
• 7:11
  the statement from the Horseman so we kind of don't get it
• 7:14
  wrong. So they have an update on All
• 7:17
  Star Six Wave, including how they're handling the current
• 7:20
  challenges with tariffs. Now this was posted before the
• 7:25
  tariffs. Recently there was some sort of
• 7:27
  an agreement where they've frozen the tariffs now at 30%
• 7:31
  instead of 154% between China and USA, which is the relevant 1
• 7:36
  here. And there is, but yeah. 145 down
• 7:40
  to 30, it was 0 before. So 30 is still a bit more than
• 7:45
  than 0, but you know, if if they're going to do that type of
• 7:49
  policy, 30 is definitely more doable than 145, which I just
• 7:55
  don't I think 145 was just to nothing's going to happen.
• 7:59
  You can't ship, I think, at that rate, especially a small
• 8:03
  company, you're going to bankrupt yourself.
• 8:05
  So the All Star Six wave was nearing completion just as the
• 8:09
  tariff changes begin. As the horsemen again, we were
• 8:12
  fortunate enough to get a container of Orleans shipped at
• 8:15
  the start of those changes. While these items will be
• 8:19
  subject to tariff charges that we must pay, they thankfully
• 8:23
  shipped before the tariffs escalate to their highest point.
• 8:27
  This container of Orleans is set to arrive at our warehouse soon.
• 8:31
  We will be absorbing the cost of the tariffs and not charging any
• 8:34
  pre-order customers customers. So if you've ordered All Star 6,
• 8:37
  don't worry about you personally having to to pay any more money,
• 8:42
  which I think is only probably right at this point.
• 8:45
  You know, sucks as it is for the horsemen, but this is AI guess a
• 8:52
  business risk for doing this, the model that they have, and
• 8:56
  this is a substantial expense for a small company.
• 8:59
  The horsemen say, and they have every intention and not to
• 9:03
  charge additional fees on pre-ordered items.
• 9:06
  Once the Orleans arrive, we will begin the process of shipping
• 9:09
  them out to pre-order customers. To that end, you have an address
• 9:12
  change, uh, for the order you have until uh, this Friday.
• 9:16
  So the day this episode comes out 16th of may, uh, to e-mail
• 9:20
  them uh, the Orleans were able to ship before the tariffs
• 9:25
  escalated to that 145 that we talked about.
• 9:28
  They were unfortunately unable to get the rest of the wave out
• 9:33
  the single items. So anything that's not an all,
• 9:37
  just in as an all in order. And so that's not something that
• 9:43
  they can absorb. I think we understand that and
• 9:51
  that puts them in a really challenging position.
• 9:54
  These items were temporarily held at the factory pending some
• 9:57
  relief from the tariffs. So that's probably, I mean,
• 10:02
  that's costing them money anyway, one way or another to,
• 10:04
  to store them. I mean, obviously not as much,
• 10:06
  but you know, the factory is going to need to, uh, give them
• 10:10
  space to, to store them. Uh, that doesn't come for free.
• 10:14
  I guess. Uh, we know the arrival delay is
• 10:15
  frustrating and we share their frustration.
• 10:17
  The good news is that reports look like a deal has been made.
• 10:21
  So that's the 30% now that we talked about once the specifics
• 10:25
  that that dealer node will, they'll assess the situation and
• 10:28
  work with their partners to get back to shipping product as soon
• 10:31
  as it's feasible. Note that if you ordered an all
• 10:34
  in plus other items, the all in will ship now and the other
• 10:38
  items won't they arrive. So that's good news.

  Your all in won't be sitting there waiting for something that
• 10:45
  might arrive in a couple of months time and they thank
• 10:48
  everyone for their support and they will try and get everything
• 10:52
  into your hand as reasonably soon as they can.

  So I think that's just that's been common guys.

  It's been kind of coming down the track one way or another.

  I think they probably did the right thing in not jumping to,
• 11:09
  you know, try and say something about it until they had more
• 11:13
  certainty on, you know, what was being shaped and what was coming

  and, you know, let it play out a bit because this is a is it a
• 11:21
  little bit of at least up until they've done this 90 day deal
• 11:25
  Now this was a little bit of a day by day thing.

  So yeah, I guess we just have to be patient and it sucks.

  And, you know, I think at the start of the year we looked at
• 11:38
  the situation for the year and we realized that a lot of ways
• 11:41
  were coming. Like we got Cosmic Ox grew one
• 11:43
  and two probably coming this year.
• 11:45
  And we speculated that Rising Suns would also probably arrive
• 11:51
  and Ashes of Egg Bendor, they would have been slated to arrive
• 11:55
  this year or maybe one of the two of those probably Rising
• 11:59
  Suns. So yeah, I guess just patience

  as a virtue. We've had the in stock sale now,
• 12:06
  which is good. I guess that helps support the
• 12:08
  horsemen in a way of getting some cash flow for them so that
• 12:15
  they can pay this stuff. So, yeah, I don't know if
• 12:18
  there's much more to say rather than going down the rabbit hole
• 12:20
  of, you know, the insurance and outs and, you know, the rights
• 12:23
  and wrongs of this situation. It's just the facts, you know?
• 12:27
  It is they handled it the right way.
• 12:29
  You know, they absorbed what they could.
• 12:31
  They were clear that, you know, 145 is just nobody can absorb
• 12:34
  that. As you said, John, you know,
• 12:37
  they did it all right. And like Super Seven, who
• 12:39
  apparently put some warehouse sales warehouse stock up that
• 12:44
  they'd found like older figures and added a tariff surcharge to
• 12:47
  them even though they've been selling their warehouse for like
• 12:49
  2 years. Yeah, but unfortunately some, a
• 12:54
  lot of staff at Super 7 have been let go as well.
• 12:56
  So that's. Good about that, yeah.

  So that also sucks. I mean, they're obviously
• 13:02
  struggling with this and you know, maybe they, because
• 13:08
  there's their portfolio is so wide-ranging and different
• 13:12
  stuff. And I suppose the Horseman's is
• 13:17
  a little least, a little bit tighter in terms of what they're
• 13:20
  selling. And you know, they don't need to
• 13:23
  have probably as many staff as Super 7 have.
• 13:26
  So that sucks for them, sucks for anyone that lose their job
• 13:29
  for this kind of stuff. But I'm sure there's lots of
• 13:33
  talented people there that'll get hopefully get other work
• 13:37
  things settled down. Yeah, so sucks, but is what it

  is. I mean, if there's lots of time,

  I'm sure there are lots of talented people at Super 7.

  I'm going to guess the guy that was in charge of quality control

  at the Super 7 factories, maybe not so much.

  So last week at the in stock sale, actually just after we

  recorded, they announced that they were going to do an Army

  blind box experience on top of all the wonderful stuff that was

  at the in stock sale. So that was $99.00 for basically

  three figures equivalent blind box.

  They were leftover parts from Legions Con in the first kind of
• 15:01
  batch of it and subsequently when they sold out, they started
• 15:07
  to blind box full figures from the in stock ones that have been
• 15:12
  on store store horsemen there for the last month or two.

  So what do we think of this Rich it?

  Was a really good idea. I bought one blind box, so I got
• 15:22
  my three figures and my barbarian parts obviously, which
• 15:25
  is exciting for me. Barbarian birds.

  Exciting. Yeah, no, I'm just teasing, but

  it was part of the deal. So, but it's a really good idea.

  Basically, you got three figures, the price of two, Yeah.

  And yes, you didn't know what figures you're going to get, but

  you know, the likelihood of getting like purple and green
• 15:44
  and red bits or, you know, that's unlike, not impossible,

  but unlikely to happen. So it's just a really good way

  to fill out. Yeah, from the ones from the
• 15:52
  people that have received them already that have posted on the
• 15:56
  group on Facebook, it seems most people got three separate

  figures with matching parts. Yeah.

  So I think the the possibility of the there being, you know,

  maybe random parts from different figures in there, I
• 16:13
  guess they tried to avoid that, but they they put in that you
• 16:16
  could have received that just so that nobody was kind of trying

  to return stuff if it didn't match, which I think makes
• 16:23
  sense. And Mal was was this tempting

  No, not, not really. I think it's a good idea for the

  majority of the Legions fans. But with it be I get with it

  being like the Knights and these just basically knight builds of

  So it probably didn't really work for me in that sense.

  last, even the last in stock sale that I haven't kind of

  so so I dived in. Our good friend Brett Sloddart

  got an ATL 25 then I got 6 temple of relic guards, 4 I'll

  2 vampire phalanx, A headhunter and the armoury loose blind box.

  OK, so. 17 figures and then the following day when the limits

  were lifted, I got three more ATL 20 fives.

  So that's 20 figures off the Brett.

  And then I was like, well, I'm in the zone now.

  So I've got a couple of retailer exclusive Monkey Kings from Big

  Bad Toy Store and got them sent over to him as well.

  So there's there's plenty of figures as well as 4 scaffolds I

  picked up on the on the Cabal a couple of days earlier.

  So Brett will be sending me a very large box.
