- 0:04Speaker 1: All right, all right, come and tell you Live from Philly.
- 0:09Speaker 2: It's the number one rated Polly and Tony Fosco show.
- 0:14Speaker 2: As always, Polly Foolsco Here with Tony Foolsco and Tony
- 0:19Speaker 2: Huge Show today.
- 0:21Speaker 3: You know, we're going to react to the firing of
- 0:22Speaker 3: Robert Salah. You know, a lot of idiots that Aaron
- 0:25Speaker 3: Rodgers was behind it. No, I'll show you why. And
- 0:29Speaker 3: also we're going to explain that why that Cowboys win
- 0:32Speaker 3: on Sunday night or Monday morning, whatever it was, should
- 0:35Speaker 3: not be a win at all. And we'll react to
- 0:38Speaker 3: the terrible situation unfolding in the NLDS and tell you why.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It's just more bad news for America. Terrible.
- 0:45Speaker 3: And by the way, you may be wondering why this
- 0:48Speaker 3: episode is coming to you now on a Wednesday instead
- 0:50Speaker 3: of our usual Thursday. You know, you see a lot
- 0:53Speaker 3: of people, you know, they've they've been telling us that,
- 0:55Speaker 3: you know, we've been kind of what mean to our producer,
- 0:58Speaker 3: they say, and you know we take feedback Tony. So yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 3: you know, for his all his hard work, we've decided
- 1:07Speaker 3: he deserves a vacation.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Yeah, he does good for you produce. So out of the.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Goodness of our heart, we decided to give him four
- 1:14Speaker 3: days in lovely sunny Florida there on the beach Beach
- 1:19Speaker 3: Front Hotel. But we just want to make sure, you know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: he gets there in time to enjoy this holiday and
- 1:24Speaker 3: soak in the you know, the sunshine there, so recording
- 1:27Speaker 3: on a Wednesday to get him to the airport immediately
- 1:30Speaker 3: after the show.
- 1:31Speaker 1: We hope you enjoy it too.
- 1:33Speaker 4: I'm not getting on that plane. And it's insulting that
- 1:36Speaker 4: you even asked.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Just so ungrateful, Tony's shame on you. You know, that's
- 1:44Speaker 3: that's the last time we do anything nice for you.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Never do anything nice for you. Disgusting. We're not to
- 1:50Speaker 1: be in this business. Pro all right, Well, that's enough
- 1:54Speaker 1: out of you.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Just shut up, shut up anyway, Let's not delay any further, Tony,
- 1:58Speaker 3: Let's just get right into our top store.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Sure, big nose out of the NFL.
- 2:04Speaker 3: The Jets firing head coach Robert Sala and the.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Team owner, Woody Johnson.
- 2:10Speaker 3: He came out and he said he fired Sala because
- 2:13Speaker 3: he didn't meet the Jets quote expectations. And Tony, that's
- 2:17Speaker 3: just clear what's happened here, isn't it?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 2:20Speaker 5: You know, Robert Sala only had a winning percentage of
- 2:24Speaker 5: thirty seven percent. If you want to be at the
- 2:27Speaker 5: level of a successful Jets coach like.
- 2:29Speaker 1: A Rex Ryan or Eric Mangini or.
- 2:33Speaker 5: Even a Herm Edwards, you've got to maintain a relatively
- 2:37Speaker 5: solid forty seven or forty eight percent winning percentage if
- 2:41Speaker 5: you want to meet those high expectations of the Jets organization.
- 2:45Speaker 5: And Sala just fell short of that standard of mediocrity.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Just terrific statistical analysis that, Tony. And you know, Aaron
- 2:54Speaker 3: Rodgers is saying he was shocked by the decision, and
- 2:57Speaker 3: he says that while he spoke with Jets owner Woody
- 3:00Speaker 3: Johnson on Monday night, they talked about other things and
- 3:03Speaker 3: not this decision of fire Sala. And you know a
- 3:05Speaker 3: lot of people out there they're saying this is BS.
- 3:08Speaker 3: But Tony, I believe Aaron Rodgers, don't you one hundred percent?
- 3:13Speaker 5: There's so many other more pressing issues that Aaron Rodgers
- 3:17Speaker 5: and Woody Johnson probably needed to talk about in that
- 3:20Speaker 5: phone call. The election coming up, the problems with Boeing Airplanes,
- 3:26Speaker 5: you know, declining sales of McDonald's French fries, you know,
- 3:29Speaker 5: the New Joker movie bombing at the box office. With
- 3:33Speaker 5: all those things going on, how could they even find
- 3:36Speaker 5: the time to make coaching decisions.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They couldn't.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Great football and societal analysis that Dowdy and Well there
- 3:44Speaker 3: were reports they're saying that Robert Sala had to be
- 3:47Speaker 3: escorted out of the building by Jet security after he
- 3:51Speaker 3: was fired. Now people are saying this was in poor
- 3:54Speaker 3: taste and bad optics, But Tony, I think this is
- 3:57Speaker 3: very good optics, don't you.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Absolute This shows the Jets are finally coming together. Defensively,
- 4:05Speaker 5: they kept Sala from advancing back to his office, intercepted
- 4:09Speaker 5: him before he used his key card, and then the
- 4:12Speaker 5: defensive stand culminated with a job ending sack. Just a
- 4:16Speaker 5: perfect defensive performance from the Jets.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Excellent breakdown that DONI.
- 4:21Speaker 3: And you know a lot of people are saying that
- 4:23Speaker 3: now with Sala gone, it's time for the Jets to
- 4:26Speaker 3: bring in Bill Belichick because he and Aaron Rodgers have
- 4:29Speaker 3: similar philosophies. I mean not when it comes to football,
- 4:32Speaker 3: but when it comes to dating. You know, they both
- 4:34Speaker 3: like hot young girls who have big followings on ig
- 4:38Speaker 3: It makes total sense.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and they could go on double dates to movies,
- 4:41Speaker 5: the roller rink help them study for finals.
- 4:45Speaker 3: It's a perfect match. It truly is, Dony. And well,
- 4:48Speaker 3: now let's move to something that's not perfect, which is
- 4:51Speaker 3: the Cowboys quote unquote beat the Steelers the other night.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Steelers. Anyone who watched.
- 4:57Speaker 3: That game knows that win quote unquote should count, right, Dony,
- 5:01Speaker 3: No way, the Cowboys had an unfair advantage in the
- 5:05Speaker 3: fourth quarter.
- 5:06Speaker 5: They were on Central Time twelve thirty AM, and Pittsburgh
- 5:10Speaker 5: is only like ten or eleven PM in Dallas, which
- 5:13Speaker 5: is when the Cowboys are usually just getting ready to
- 5:16Speaker 5: go to the strip clubs. That's when the Cowboys are
- 5:19Speaker 5: in their element. And also, just for the record, it's
- 5:23Speaker 5: called Sunday night football. Technically anything that happens on Monday
- 5:29Speaker 5: shouldn't count.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Therefore, we have revised the.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Final score as Steele as seventeen Cowboys six.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Terrific analysis, Doty, And you know that's not all from
- 5:41Speaker 3: this game. If you watched the broadcast during that rain delay,
- 5:45Speaker 3: you could see NBC goofed and accidentally exposed. Yeah, there
- 5:50Speaker 3: was clearly a conspiracy by the NFL to help the
- 5:53Speaker 3: Cowboys win.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You saw it, Doty.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Absolutely didn't anyone notice that they serve turkey raps before
- 5:58Speaker 5: the game. Have you ever eaten turkey and then tried
- 6:02Speaker 5: to stay awake?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Impossible? Exactly.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Clearly, the NFL knew that game was gonna go late,
- 6:09Speaker 5: so they serve the Steelers turkey raps so that they'd
- 6:13Speaker 5: fall asleep by the fourth quarter and they did. Shame
- 6:17Speaker 5: on you, NFL, and also Boar's head.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Just a terrible shameful situation there. And on that subject,
- 6:26Speaker 3: now to Daniel Jones, you know who. Some people they
- 6:29Speaker 3: say he had a surprisingly good game on the road
- 6:32Speaker 3: in Seattle because he threw two touchdowns. Yeah, even though
- 6:35Speaker 3: he still hasn't thrown a touchdown at home in New
- 6:37Speaker 3: York in six hundred and fifty days.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Tony, we're not surprised, are we not? At all?
- 6:43Speaker 1: This just proves our theory.
- 6:45Speaker 5: The further Daniel Jones gets away from angry, hateful Giants
- 6:50Speaker 5: fans who shattered his confidence and ruin his.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Spirit, the better he plays.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Yep, he goes to Seattle, boom, Suddenly he's Phil Simms.
- 7:00Speaker 5: That's why, by my projections, when the Giants play the
- 7:03Speaker 5: Panthers in Germany on November tenth, I predict Daniel Jones
- 7:08Speaker 5: will throw nine touchdowns and shatter every NFL single game
- 7:13Speaker 5: passing record.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Just amazing predictive analysis that, Tony, and well, now, speaking
- 7:19Speaker 3: of hateful fans, we got to look at Cleveland where
- 7:23Speaker 3: these Browns fans are saying the Deshaun Watson trade is
- 7:26Speaker 3: the worst trade in all of sports history. But Dony,
- 7:30Speaker 3: these idiots, they just don't get it, do they.
- 7:32Speaker 5: No, we all know, if you want to run a
- 7:36Speaker 5: successful franchise in any business, there's one thing that matters most,
- 7:41Speaker 5: branding exactly, and the Browns have built a brand known
- 7:46Speaker 5: worldwide for crappy, disappointing football.
- 7:49Speaker 1: They can't just suddenly go and change that now.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I mean, when you go to eat a hot dog
- 7:54Speaker 5: at a gas station, you don't expect it to taste good.
- 7:58Speaker 5: You just needed to fill you up, not give you
- 8:00Speaker 5: vicious diarrhea. That's branding. You got to give your customers
- 8:05Speaker 5: what they expect. And that's what the Cleveland Browns have
- 8:08Speaker 5: done so masterfully for thirty years.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Just terrific football and also business analysis that, Tony and uh, Well,
- 8:17Speaker 3: now let's get the baseball and just a terrible situation
- 8:21Speaker 3: unfolding in the NLDS where once again we see a
- 8:25Speaker 3: site all too familiar in this country, the wealth desterity
- 8:30Speaker 3: between the super rich and the hard working man, the
- 8:34Speaker 3: Phillies who work their way up from nothing, while the
- 8:37Speaker 3: Mets with their big oversized payroll basically just buying their
- 8:41Speaker 3: way into the playoffs, just like that mom from full
- 8:44Speaker 3: House who bought our kids in a Harvard you know,
- 8:47Speaker 3: bring up that shot just to show this to Shriff.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Look at this.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, these are the current baseball payrolls and as you
- 8:54Speaker 3: can see, the Mets all the way on the left
- 8:56Speaker 3: at the top, while the Phillies are way down the list.
- 9:00Speaker 5: And that just shows the sad state of affairs in
- 9:03Speaker 5: our country.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Absolutely just so sad.
- 9:07Speaker 3: But you know, on the subject of money and making money,
- 9:10Speaker 3: it's time for a sponsored message. In a word from
- 9:13Speaker 3: the movie Joker Too and Tony, this is very unusual
- 9:17Speaker 3: this week because the ad copy that the studio sent
- 9:19Speaker 3: over I showed it to you. You know, they're clearly
- 9:22Speaker 3: taking an unusual approach to selling this movie as and
- 9:25Speaker 3: just just its second week in theaters. I'm just gonna
- 9:28Speaker 3: go ahead and read this as they sent it. Okay,
- 9:30Speaker 3: here we go play that music. Are you looking for
- 9:33Speaker 3: some alone time this weekend. Right now, you can see
- 9:37Speaker 3: Jokatoo in a theater all by yourself.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Why is it at home alone when you can have
- 9:42Speaker 5: a whole theater to yourself. I went the other day
- 9:46Speaker 5: and it was pure bliss. Not the movie, which is
- 9:50Speaker 5: admittedly just total hot garbage, but just being by myself
- 9:54Speaker 5: in a dark theater with some popcorn, a little air conditioning,
- 9:59Speaker 5: just alone with nobody around to bother me.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Joke it till thank.
- 10:04Speaker 3: You go see joke it to it theats right now?
- 10:08Speaker 1: What? Oh not anymore? Oh? Oh they done all right?
- 10:12Speaker 3: Well never mind, never mind all that anyway, all right, look,
- 10:15Speaker 3: just let's wrap the show. That Donny a great job
- 10:18Speaker 3: all around, rate and review the show.
- 10:22Speaker 1: We tried to get out there, and we tried. Shouldn't
- 10:24Speaker 1: you be in for this is worse than seeing Joker?
- 10:27Speaker 1: What it's? What do you want?
- 10:29Speaker 6: Corrections?
- 10:30Speaker 1: You should be on that plane. That's the correction. Yeah,
- 10:33Speaker 1: that's the correction. What again?
- 10:36Speaker 6: Said? The Phillies don't have a high payroll.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, bro, it's pretty low.
- 10:43Speaker 4: They have the fourth highest payroll in baseball. Yeah, you
- 10:47Speaker 4: know you could just look all of this up.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Oh well, you know what I'm going to look up
- 10:54Speaker 3: how to kill a producer.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, you remind me of the Mets, forty
- 11:00Speaker 5: is and no ring Goods.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Get out of here.
- 11:07Speaker 6: What it's also not called Joker too.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yeah it is. Yeah, it's the second Joker movie. Bro,
- 11:14Speaker 1: what do you think it's called.
- 11:16Speaker 6: It's called Joker, that's the official title.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well you are going to be Joker. Folly
- 11:25Speaker 3: off my balcony.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Yeah, they're making a movie about your sex life.
- 11:30Speaker 7: It's called Jerker. Oh now stop that. You should be
- 11:35Speaker 7: on a plane to the airport right on the uber.
- 11:38Speaker 7: And you know who's calling us to be on the
- 11:40Speaker 7: show next week? Just booked super Bowl, euro.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Future Hall of Fame and Nick Foles will be on
- 11:45Speaker 1: the show. Don't go and review this show.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Go right now, buy all the merch and don't great
- 11:53Speaker 3: job as always.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Same to you, Pauli. Another flawless show. We'll see if
- 11:58Speaker 1: people next week.
- 12:00Speaker 2: YAP.
