- 2:51Speaker 5: All right, let's call right in.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Allrady, Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 2:58Speaker 5: It is July twelve teeth.
- 3:00Speaker 6: It is nine to thirty nine pm.
- 3:04Speaker 5: It's a night show. Welcome to the night show. We're
- 3:07Speaker 5: We're going blue.
- 3:08Speaker 4: We've never done this before.
- 3:09Speaker 6: No, it's definitely the latest we've ever recorded.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Do you guys like it or not?
- 3:13Speaker 4: I'm excited, But if it were the regular thing, I
- 3:16Speaker 4: would not like it.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Oh No, I wouldn't like that. I was thinking about
- 3:20Speaker 6: that when I was on the way. I was like,
- 3:21Speaker 6: I can't believe part of my take does this like
- 3:23Speaker 6: every episode after a full workday on like a Sunday.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Yeah, in like the dead of winter. Yeah yeah, it's.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah, but yeah no not a good uh obviously, thank.
- 3:36Speaker 4: God, thank god for them. Yeah that's all I can say,
- 3:42Speaker 4: thank God.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Yeah no, but the opinion on everything is just changed completely.
- 3:47Speaker 5: I mean that, shaking hands.
- 3:48Speaker 4: So sincerely, like we can barely record.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, they do three a week.
- 3:56Speaker 1: They can't, and they don't they don't like go anywhere
- 4:00Speaker 1: like they like spend like the holidays at like pft's house,
- 4:05Speaker 1: so they could get a fucking episode up every week.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Right now, it just seems like it's it's just a
- 4:11Speaker 4: touch and go whether or not we're gonna we're gonna
- 4:14Speaker 4: do it.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Well, the good thing is hope we always do it.
- 4:18Speaker 4: We gotta do it, we gotta do it. I'm just saying, like,
- 4:21Speaker 4: I don't I can't plan. I was supposed to go.
- 4:24Speaker 5: The last three weeks have been a fucking nightmare.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I was supposed to shoot with Trent yeah tomorrow, yeah,
- 4:31Speaker 4: and we've been trying to plan this thing. Yeah, and
- 4:34Speaker 4: I'm like, dude, I don't know what is going to happen,
- 4:38Speaker 4: and I can't tell you anything.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Well, right now, as far as I know, Harry is
- 4:42Speaker 6: like being detained when we were recording in nine hours
- 4:46Speaker 6: pretty much, yeah, exactly.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Which is just devastating.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I have no sympathy for you.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I'm not looking for sympathy. I mean, there's nothing I
- 4:58Speaker 5: can do about it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: What can we Let's just let's just walk everybody through
- 5:02Speaker 1: the saga as if they were fucking I.
- 5:06Speaker 6: How about we go my point of view and then
- 5:07Speaker 6: we'll go, well, Francis's point of view. My point of
- 5:10Speaker 6: view was I'm I'm in Vegas obviously for Bush. You know, nightmare,
- 5:19Speaker 6: total fucking nightmare. I don't know if I've ever been
- 5:23Speaker 6: this low mentally as a person.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Vibes are bad, No vibes are good.
- 5:28Speaker 6: But obviously it was just like I just asked Mac.
- 5:30Speaker 5: He said that vibes are good for you only, and
- 5:32Speaker 5: that again probably I mean, that's but that's how it
- 5:35Speaker 5: felt like.
- 5:35Speaker 1: It felt like I was just that you were the
- 5:37Speaker 1: most positive guy in the room, and this is how
- 5:39Speaker 1: you feel.
- 5:40Speaker 6: I was trying to be positive, but eventually it just
- 5:44Speaker 6: you only have so much to give, you know, until
- 5:46Speaker 6: you just until you just buckle, You're like, I want
- 5:52Speaker 6: to fucking die. Dude, this sucks.
- 5:55Speaker 5: You guys came in. You guys finished your season early.
- 5:58Speaker 5: We finished our season.
- 5:59Speaker 6: That wasn't like I mean that that sucked, but that
- 6:02Speaker 6: was like it was everything after and then the team
- 6:06Speaker 6: crumbling or team crumbling, which was bound to happen.
- 6:09Speaker 5: I knew that was gonna happen.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Did they all turn on each other?
- 6:11Speaker 6: Yeah, but I think that probably happens every year if
- 6:14Speaker 6: they don't win.
- 6:14Speaker 4: To be honest, I saw some guys sending a tweet
- 6:17Speaker 4: that had a lot of N words in it. But
- 6:19Speaker 4: I again, I because I don't have an account, I can't.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Every time I try to.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Find more, it's like download the app. Oh yeah, and
- 6:26Speaker 4: then I'm like no, I'm nine.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Yeah, that shit's pretty brutal.
- 6:29Speaker 4: So I don't know what. I don't know what happened there.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Well, everyone turned on each other. I mean the team
- 6:35Speaker 6: they blew up. They're definitely not teaming together again. I'm
- 6:39Speaker 6: sure like maybe two of them will one of them
- 6:42Speaker 6: like left. I don't I'm not going to get into
- 6:44Speaker 6: the details. But he just disappeared.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He went into hiding, like the Colombian soccer player who
- 6:49Speaker 1: couldn't go home because he missed.
- 6:50Speaker 6: A kick essentially literally exactly that. So that was tough,
- 6:54Speaker 6: Like it was like tough because it was like, what
- 6:55Speaker 6: the fuck's going on? But like at the same time,
- 6:57Speaker 6: you're like, I hope he's okay, Like I don't know
- 6:58Speaker 6: what's going on. So like that was a lot, and
- 7:02Speaker 6: then today was just like it was I mean, just hell, well,
- 7:07Speaker 6: you're skipping a big part. Well yeah, I kind of
- 7:10Speaker 6: just wanted to get the flight thing over with. Well
- 7:11Speaker 6: it's fresh jet Blue is.
- 7:15Speaker 4: You're still skipping a big part. You were originally scheduled
- 7:18Speaker 4: to take the Red Eye.
- 7:19Speaker 5: No no, no, no, no no, you were never scheduled to
- 7:21Speaker 5: take I was.
- 7:22Speaker 6: Originally scheduled to get here to land at ten thirty pm,
- 7:26Speaker 6: and then I switched. I switched my flight four times,
- 7:31Speaker 6: four times. When I checked in at the airport today
- 7:34Speaker 6: that I was like, what's your flight number? And I
- 7:36Speaker 6: said it and he was like, you have four flights.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Jesus Christ.
- 7:42Speaker 6: I mean, I'm I'm I'm active, I'm my money, I've
- 7:45Speaker 6: I've ran out of money.
- 7:46Speaker 5: It's all gone, it's all gone. You had four actives,
- 7:51Speaker 5: all first class?
- 7:53Speaker 6: No no, no no, I saw because that was the
- 7:55Speaker 6: only one available. That was the only one available.
- 7:58Speaker 5: You had Delta United and yeah classes.
- 8:01Speaker 6: No, I had United, No, I The only first class
- 8:04Speaker 6: I had was Jet Blue.
- 8:06Speaker 5: I had United.
- 8:08Speaker 6: To getting at ten thirty, not first class. Then I
- 8:10Speaker 6: had Southwest, and then I had which was which I
- 8:14Speaker 6: should have just done the Southwest flight. That was the
- 8:16Speaker 6: big fuck up. I should have just stuck with that one.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Was that the Red Eye?
- 8:20Speaker 6: No, that one would I would have got home at five?
- 8:22Speaker 6: Uh the red Eye? The Red Eye was just like, yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 6: I should have done the Red Eye like that. You
- 8:27Speaker 6: were never I thought, you know, I was, And then
- 8:29Speaker 6: I was texting you guys, and I was like, I
- 8:32Speaker 6: was like, what if we did, would you guys be
- 8:33Speaker 6: able to do like five, which like, obviously it's not five.
- 8:38Speaker 6: It's nine thirty right now, it's not five.
- 8:40Speaker 4: And Mac, one of our.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Producers, he took the Red Eye, took the Rod Wilson.
- 8:45Speaker 6: I also did tell Mac. I was like, do you
- 8:46Speaker 6: want to change your flight too? And he was like
- 8:48Speaker 6: I have to do other stuff like he had to
- 8:49Speaker 6: do hoop and holler and stuff.
- 8:51Speaker 4: So we know we're good. I have boy Dad tomorrow.
- 8:58Speaker 4: We record Son of a Boy Dad on I need
- 9:00Speaker 4: to get back to the way that I saw.
- 9:03Speaker 6: The way that I saw it in my head was well,
- 9:06Speaker 6: first of all, I had to change the flight, regardless.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Of what it was.
- 9:09Speaker 5: When he said other stuff, that's what it No.
- 9:11Speaker 6: It was it was hooping and holler, and was what
- 9:13Speaker 6: it was it can't and other stuff.
- 9:16Speaker 4: You know that boy dad always follows.
- 9:18Speaker 5: It always follows hoop and holler. But that was the plant.
- 9:21Speaker 6: That was the plan.
- 9:22Speaker 5: You wouldn't have made it.
- 9:24Speaker 6: I like, you guys have no idea, Like I I
- 9:28Speaker 6: was on. I was on getting in at ten thirty,
- 9:32Speaker 6: and then I switched it to another United flight. And
- 9:35Speaker 6: then I found out that that United flight because that
- 9:37Speaker 6: one was getting in at five at Newark.
- 9:39Speaker 5: And then I found out that that.
- 9:40Speaker 6: One was going to San Francisco, first two hour flight
- 9:45Speaker 6: and then a six hour flight. So I was like,
- 9:48Speaker 6: all right, let's try to find an alternative to that.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Then I find the Southwest flight and I'm like, okay,
- 9:52Speaker 6: this is definitely better. It's three hours to Oklahoma and
- 9:55Speaker 6: then Oklahoma here, but it's middle.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Seat all the way whatever.
- 9:59Speaker 6: I don't and then I and then I'm I'm like, okay,
- 10:03Speaker 6: I'm going Southwest. That's the plan. Landing at Laguardi at
- 10:06Speaker 6: five pm, and then I'm still just refreshing the app
- 10:11Speaker 6: all night. I'm on I'm on like Priceline, Expedia, Kayak,
- 10:14Speaker 6: all of them. I'm refreshing all of them. And because
- 10:17Speaker 6: I know something's gonna open up. It's we're in Las Vegas,
- 10:20Speaker 6: not everyone is making their seven am flight.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Of course.
- 10:24Speaker 6: Something opens up seven am, gets into JFK three pm.
- 10:28Speaker 6: I didn't even tell you, guys. I was like, they're
- 10:29Speaker 6: gonna be I'm gonna text them in the morning.
- 10:31Speaker 5: I'm back. It's three like where we can just get
- 10:34Speaker 5: this over with.
- 10:36Speaker 6: And then and then like right before I go to bed,
- 10:38Speaker 6: I'm checking in and it's delayed. It's automatically delayed three hours.
- 10:43Speaker 4: So you got that flight, you switched to it, and
- 10:46Speaker 4: then all your others you canceled.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I see that canceled all I would book,
- 10:52Speaker 6: and then I would because I had the twenty four.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Eh, yeah, you can cancel it. So you ended up
- 10:57Speaker 4: your final answer was seven am.
- 10:59Speaker 6: Flight, seven am direct. I mean, it was too good
- 11:03Speaker 6: to be true. Seven am direct, first class getting in
- 11:07Speaker 6: at three pm. That was what I was looking It
- 11:09Speaker 6: was literally the number one thing I was looking for
- 11:11Speaker 6: all day.
- 11:12Speaker 4: That was your Jet Blue flight. Yes, yeah, so I
- 11:15Speaker 4: don't remember when you texted us exactly when did you
- 11:18Speaker 4: tell us? You told us at three.
- 11:20Speaker 6: Am, your guys time, three am, my time. Oh that's what,
- 11:23Speaker 6: And then you called Jerry at four am.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah right, I woke up at four slow down. I
- 11:28Speaker 4: went to that at three, woke up at slow down
- 11:30Speaker 4: a second, because here's what, here's what happened. Right, So
- 11:33Speaker 4: Harry Harry like tells us that he's by the way.
- 11:37Speaker 6: I don't want to tell like obviously it sucks, like
- 11:40Speaker 6: I don't want to text you guys and be like, hey, guys,
- 11:42Speaker 6: delayed again another four hours.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Dude, Honestly, don't worry. I know you don't worry. I'm
- 11:49Speaker 4: not actually mad, I know.
- 11:51Speaker 5: I just I'm just saying because it's.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Funny and you've been through hell, so I'm not gonna
- 11:57Speaker 4: pile on. But I want for the same I want
- 12:01Speaker 4: us to understand what happened, because yeah, I think it's
- 12:04Speaker 4: very funny.
- 12:04Speaker 1: There was also an unbelievable text message exchange. Was this
- 12:08Speaker 1: at seven eight This is seven am.
- 12:12Speaker 4: I thought you were gonna take the I thought the
- 12:14Speaker 4: plan was that you were always going to take the
- 12:15Speaker 4: red out because you were like debating it last night.
- 12:19Speaker 4: You're like, I'm thinking I might switch my flight to
- 12:21Speaker 4: the morning or something.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I was on the red eye, so there you go.
- 12:25Speaker 4: That was the original plan.
- 12:27Speaker 6: Well it was, I mean it was the second, it
- 12:29Speaker 6: was the third plan, and I was the third flight
- 12:32Speaker 6: booked you.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Okay, all right, but it's a seven.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Am text message, Francis says you.
- 12:39Speaker 1: He gets the bad news from you at five am,
- 12:41Speaker 1: five point thirty. Francis says, shit, keep us posted. I'll
- 12:45Speaker 1: start thinking about a guest. Maybe we can we can
- 12:47Speaker 1: get in case you can't get home. Seven oh one,
- 12:51Speaker 1: seven twenty one, Harry, I'm trying to help you figure
- 12:54Speaker 1: this problem out. Wake the fuck up, dude.
- 12:58Speaker 4: When Harry like this is what happened, Harry's like, wow,
- 13:01Speaker 4: no solution. Might as well go back to bed.
- 13:05Speaker 5: It was four am.
- 13:06Speaker 6: I've been refreshing the apps four.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Hours with the Mercyland mail it in.
- 13:15Speaker 5: I'm going to the floor.
- 13:16Speaker 6: The thing that bothered me in the morning was that
- 13:18Speaker 6: I genuinely did have alarm set every hour to like
- 13:22Speaker 6: refresh and see if anything opened up.
- 13:24Speaker 5: And then I get a pre empty like.
- 13:26Speaker 6: I get I get a pre alarm yeah, in person
- 13:32Speaker 6: alarm low down.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Here's what happened. It's six thirty AM. I'm up because
- 13:38Speaker 4: I'm a healthy human.
- 13:40Speaker 5: That's why I also texted you guys, so I had
- 13:41Speaker 5: a feeling you guys would be upset.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Yeah, And I get all these messages from Harry and
- 13:46Speaker 4: he's like, bad news. My flight's been delayed four hours,
- 13:50Speaker 4: which means I'm not I'm not going to get to
- 13:52Speaker 4: JFK until like seven thirty PM, which means we're now
- 13:56Speaker 4: not going to record till nine. And I know, I know.
- 13:59Speaker 5: That's everything and goes perfect.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Exactly if there are further delays were cooked. Yeah, there's
- 14:05Speaker 4: no Harry for this episode, and as I'm sure we'll
- 14:08Speaker 4: get to later, it was imperative that Harry be on
- 14:12Speaker 4: this episode. Imperative. So I'm now I go into I
- 14:18Speaker 4: am a problem solver. That is my first my first
- 14:20Speaker 4: reaction as I want to solve the problem. I'll get
- 14:23Speaker 4: we'll learn the lessons later. So immediately I start looking
- 14:28Speaker 4: at flights and I'm seeing, you know, all these like
- 14:32Speaker 4: seven AM flights, Yeah, yeah, and some have connections. Most
- 14:37Speaker 4: of them you had to look in first class. That
- 14:40Speaker 4: was the only ones that was like three, two to
- 14:42Speaker 4: three K. Yeah, they were two thousand bucks for sure. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 4: but I was like I was, I said, I was like,
- 14:49Speaker 4: I might have flight credit that I can help.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Well, That's what I did.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I was willing to subsidize getting you home.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Love that. I'm a team.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Player, team player, team never doubted it.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Even though our fucking home run hitter has is Dennis
- 15:05Speaker 4: Rodman in Vegas.
- 15:07Speaker 5: He's gonna Madonna.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Is he gonna make it back for Game six in
- 15:10Speaker 4: the NBA.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Final wearing a wedding dress for some reason.
- 15:13Speaker 4: He's gone to Vegas.
- 15:14Speaker 5: He dyed his hair, and he's yelling at Austin he's.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Not gonna come to practice today. And we're playing Carl
- 15:20Speaker 4: Malone tomorrow, NBA's second all time leading scorer at that point,
- 15:25Speaker 4: I believe behind Moses Malone. Wow, is that right? No, Kareem,
- 15:30Speaker 4: It was Kareem, but Moses, Moses Mullen wasn't in that anyway.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Point is all right? So so now I'm looking at
- 15:38Speaker 4: these flights and I'm like going through these options, and
- 15:42Speaker 4: now you're not responding, which means I know you've gone
- 15:45Speaker 4: to sleep. Yeah, yeah, And I'm finding things yeah, And
- 15:48Speaker 4: I'm like, we need to get Harry on a seven
- 15:51Speaker 4: am flight, which means he needs to go to the
- 15:54Speaker 4: airport now kind of now, yeah, right now. So I
- 15:57Speaker 4: called Jerry. Yeah, and it is four in the morning.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Oh.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You hear his drummond bass and a girl being like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: the ATM's right over here, baby, Jerry.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Awake when you call it, bro.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Not only was he awake, he sounded like he was up.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Because he was alert, he could have flown the plane
- 16:22Speaker 4: home for you.
- 16:22Speaker 5: At that time.
- 16:24Speaker 4: He was like he answers, he goes Hi, Frances. I
- 16:27Speaker 4: was like, Jerry, I'm sorry to call so late. He goes,
- 16:32Speaker 4: that's okay. I was just about to go to bed.
- 16:34Speaker 4: I swear to God, that's what he said.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I believe it.
- 16:36Speaker 4: He was like, but what's going on? And I'm like, listen, man.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Webb gotten these calls before, oh deaf.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I go are you with Harry? Like, is Harry asleep?
- 16:45Speaker 4: He's like yeah, I think he's gone asleep. And I'm like,
- 16:48Speaker 4: we need to get him home to record boy dad.
- 16:51Speaker 4: He's these flight situations a problem. Can you go knock
- 16:54Speaker 4: on his door to present these options that I've found
- 16:57Speaker 4: for him?
- 16:57Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:58Speaker 4: And he's like, oh, man, you want me to go
- 17:01Speaker 4: wake him up? Yeah, it didn't sound like And I
- 17:03Speaker 4: was like, I don't know what else to do, but
- 17:05Speaker 4: this is what has to happen. And he was like okay,
- 17:08Speaker 4: and he went down and knocked on the door.
- 17:11Speaker 5: Daw Man, you didn't open the door.
- 17:13Speaker 6: I was I'd have been the most angry I've ever
- 17:16Speaker 6: been from hearing Francis's voice through the door. While I'm like,
- 17:24Speaker 6: I've been asleep for like forty five minutes. Here Francis
- 17:30Speaker 6: being like, tell him he has to come home.
- 17:42Speaker 4: By the way, this isn't the first time this has happened.
- 17:45Speaker 4: I just say since version of what happened when we
- 17:49Speaker 4: did this.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You literally said that you were going to have to
- 17:51Speaker 1: do that. They're like, I'm going to have to go
- 17:52Speaker 1: across the country and like you're.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Drag or go to queen Queen. Yeah, you had a
- 18:01Speaker 5: fucking proxy, go and drag him out.
- 18:04Speaker 4: You know what I feel like? I feel like I
- 18:07Speaker 4: feel like John Goodman and that like FBI and Don
- 18:12Speaker 4: Chetle at the end of flight when they when they
- 18:15Speaker 4: walk in and they see that Denzel Washington has gotten
- 18:19Speaker 4: into the mini bar and is like covered in blood
- 18:21Speaker 4: and is all fucked up, and he's got to testify
- 18:24Speaker 4: about the plane thing in like a couple of hours.
- 18:27Speaker 4: So as a group, they all come together and they
- 18:30Speaker 4: get a bunch of cocaine. Yeah, and they fucking zap
- 18:33Speaker 4: him back to life and bring him around. Like that's
- 18:36Speaker 4: how I feel getting you to the podcast on Monday.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I mean, give him a shot, give him some adrenaline
- 18:43Speaker 1: right to the neck.
- 18:44Speaker 5: The one thing.
- 18:45Speaker 6: So like I was annoyed because I was already on
- 18:47Speaker 6: the seven am flight that was delayed. But then you
- 18:52Speaker 6: got in my head bad because then you text.
- 18:56Speaker 4: It and I re seated because that's what I wanted to.
- 18:58Speaker 6: You were like you were like, you know a lot
- 19:00Speaker 6: of those flights will go early. Yeah, And then I
- 19:04Speaker 6: was just in bed, like.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I needed you. I needed you to go to the airport,
- 19:11Speaker 4: which I did, which to try I went so early, bro,
- 19:15Speaker 4: it was like it was like, what's I got there?
- 19:18Speaker 5: I think I got there five hours before we left.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Listen, you did it. I'm proud of you.
- 19:24Speaker 6: But you were right, like the the possibility of the
- 19:28Speaker 6: plane leaving without me, I would have just blocked you
- 19:31Speaker 6: guys on everything and it disappeared, never seen again.
- 19:34Speaker 1: You would have been you the dude from Bush and
- 19:36Speaker 1: the Colombian guy just living in Vegas underground, Yeah, just
- 19:39Speaker 1: living as one of the mole people under the strip.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, so you made it. Did you manage to
- 19:47Speaker 4: sleep on the flight? Yeah?
- 19:48Speaker 5: So?
- 19:48Speaker 4: I mean did you have a first class seat?
- 19:50Speaker 5: Jet Blue?
- 19:51Speaker 4: Men? Men? Oh Jesus Christ, what do you about?
- 19:54Speaker 1: God?
- 19:55Speaker 4: Don't they make don't they like serve? Really nice charge?
- 19:58Speaker 6: They had smoked trout for breakfast. But I mean it
- 20:03Speaker 6: cost me an arm and a leg. Where they cost
- 20:06Speaker 6: me everything?
- 20:07Speaker 5: Where are they getting the trout from? I don't know.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Well it was I mean it was fresh real, It's
- 20:12Speaker 6: like they just filated.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Dude, they had There was a time when when you
- 20:16Speaker 4: flew on Jet Blue on men across the country. Charlie Bird,
- 20:20Speaker 4: you remember that restaurant. You know that restaurant. Yeah, it's
- 20:22Speaker 4: a good restaurant. Their chef they were doing the menus
- 20:25Speaker 4: for thee You.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Guys, Charlie forty thousand feet, You guys would love it.
- 20:32Speaker 6: They the menu is not like Delta where you just
- 20:35Speaker 6: pick one meal and it comes with everything. They have
- 20:38Speaker 6: four options and you get to pick three of them.
- 20:41Speaker 6: What I was in a bad mood, so I only
- 20:43Speaker 6: picked one, so I'll just go with the smoke trout,
- 20:47Speaker 6: bring it and then get rid of it.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Well, other three options could you pick?
- 20:54Speaker 6: Like pistachio pancakes? What's up with Let's just go with
- 20:58Speaker 6: normal food? Why not like, like, okay, smoked trout, I
- 21:02Speaker 6: guess is good? Why not just smoked salmon? Everyone eats
- 21:05Speaker 6: smoked salmon. It's like a universal breakfast.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Arry, you're telling me that the fisherman in you doesn't.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Of course I wanted to have it.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Trout is great.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Yeah it was, and it was. And they had a
- 21:16Speaker 5: little horse radish on it too.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Oh my god, it was like a little it'spell like
- 21:20Speaker 6: I was eating some shrimp cocktail.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Good Guyyad Troup's like small batch, you know what I mean?
- 21:24Speaker 1: Like a salmon that's that's feeding like three planes.
- 21:27Speaker 6: A single true that is true.
- 21:30Speaker 5: So smoked.
- 21:33Speaker 6: It's not like they just have a salmon just sitting
- 21:35Speaker 6: in the fucking refrigerator like one of those hams.
- 21:38Speaker 5: That you had just off beer and salmon, Simon.
- 21:44Speaker 4: So you get home and uh, now you're here and
- 21:49Speaker 4: we've just been kind of waiting all day. Yeah, it's
- 21:52Speaker 4: amazing how much I've done today.
- 21:54Speaker 6: No, I believe it's amazing how little I've done today, dude.
- 21:59Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, yeah, you but you came here and
- 22:03Speaker 4: uh now you're here and we're ready to talk to you. Yeah.
- 22:07Speaker 5: Yeah, No, I'm glad to be back. I'm very very
- 22:09Speaker 5: glad to be back.
- 22:10Speaker 6: I think everyone I remember walking by Mac yesterday and
- 22:13Speaker 6: just going, I can't fucking wait to go home.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Well, I think it.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Just I think it just goes to show that you
- 22:18Speaker 4: probably shouldn't do tell your right, easy, easy, easy, that's
- 22:21Speaker 4: what people want.
- 22:23Speaker 6: Whatever people want that. See, like, the more people want
- 22:26Speaker 6: us to not do it, the more I'm going to
- 22:27Speaker 6: focus everything I have to do.
- 22:29Speaker 4: It seems that way, but at some point you have
- 22:34Speaker 4: to realize you're just lighting money on fire. Now it's
- 22:36Speaker 4: coming out of yourcket too.
- 22:38Speaker 6: Well that I've done that at one hundred and I've
- 22:40Speaker 6: do that every time you do.
- 22:41Speaker 5: You Mac have the same shoes on right now.
- 22:43Speaker 6: Oh yeah, where I said, we were like, hey, it's
- 22:46Speaker 6: like we're in the cult, that cult with the Nikes.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Those are new too, brand new. These are j JJ
- 22:51Speaker 5: hooked us up. Jersey Jerry brought team shoes for everyone, Like,
- 22:55Speaker 5: I mean, what like fifteen pairs something like that.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess he like knows that he knows is
- 23:00Speaker 6: a guy who knows a guy at foot locker.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Somehow, they're pretty nice. You guys have team shoes.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:08Speaker 5: Was that as like a morale boost after you lost? No,
- 23:10Speaker 5: that was going in. You wanted to dress and style.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Yeah, we wanted to like look like a team, you know.
- 23:15Speaker 6: And then it was funny because the last day, like
- 23:17Speaker 6: none of us had any of our bush stuff on,
- 23:18Speaker 6: but we were all still wearing the shoes.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Did you wear your bush stuff during during the rest
- 23:24Speaker 5: of the time.
- 23:25Speaker 6: After after we lost it? Ripped that thing off. Get
- 23:31Speaker 6: it away from me.
- 23:32Speaker 4: I mean, you're it's the look. The players are not it. No, no, no,
- 23:39Speaker 4: the players are great. Well, first of all, no, they're not.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Well suck.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Two of them are great.
- 23:44Speaker 6: I know enough to know that your team sucks. No,
- 23:48Speaker 6: that's you're crossing the line. You don't know. You don't
- 23:51Speaker 6: know enough to get read a bunch of tech. I'm
- 23:54Speaker 6: sure you did read a bunch of and you just
- 23:56Speaker 6: told us the turn on each other. You guys can't
- 23:59Speaker 6: win ship.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Well, we won Major four, we may one Major three,
- 24:02Speaker 4: And yet you shouldn't you be kind of moving up.
- 24:07Speaker 6: It's tough because this year, like I mean, yes, we
- 24:09Speaker 6: should have we should have won the tournament. Like there's
- 24:11Speaker 6: no beating around that we were the Our roster alone
- 24:15Speaker 6: is the best roster in Challengers. The fact that we
- 24:17Speaker 6: lost is like it was like we had to try
- 24:20Speaker 6: to lose, and we were losing to teams that are
- 24:22Speaker 6: like so much worse than us, Right, So, I mean
- 24:26Speaker 6: I knew, like, you know, after the first day, you're like,
- 24:29Speaker 6: this isn't the team, Like this clearly is not the
- 24:31Speaker 6: team that is gonna win.
- 24:33Speaker 1: So why don't you do the flight thing where you
- 24:36Speaker 1: find the mini bar and you fucking put cocaine and
- 24:39Speaker 1: everybody's noses and fucking change shake something up.
- 24:42Speaker 6: I mean I think we pretty much did like the
- 24:45Speaker 6: there's only so much we can do, you know. Yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 6: like at the end of the day, like these guys
- 24:50Speaker 6: have been doing this for like a decade, Like we're
- 24:53Speaker 6: not going to be the ones that are gonna like
- 24:55Speaker 6: make someone who's historically not tried try.
- 25:00Speaker 4: But it feels to me is if these guys are
- 25:02Speaker 4: taking advantage of you, of all of you, it feels
- 25:05Speaker 4: to me it's weird because laughing behind your backs.
- 25:09Speaker 5: No they definitely aren't.
- 25:10Speaker 6: I mean, they know how much this is more important
- 25:12Speaker 6: for them than it is for us, Like they they.
- 25:15Speaker 4: But they're not taking they're not they're not seizing their opportunity.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Well that's the thing that sucks.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Funding and recognition and a platform mansions in Las Vegas,
- 25:25Speaker 4: flights to the fucking tournaments, and they're just coming and
- 25:29Speaker 4: smoking their pots and falling on their faces and being
- 25:33Speaker 4: like it doesn't fucking matter.
- 25:35Speaker 6: No, I know what you're saying, and I do like
- 25:38Speaker 6: you are right to an extent, But I do think
- 25:40Speaker 6: it sucks the most because I think two of the
- 25:44Speaker 6: guys on our team specifically like really like gave it
- 25:47Speaker 6: everything they had even going into the tournament, like Byron,
- 25:51Speaker 6: like Prolute, the one like the one we call the face,
- 25:55Speaker 6: like he's like his worth work ethic is like not
- 26:00Speaker 6: he is. He tries harder than anyone I've ever seen
- 26:02Speaker 6: at almost anything, Like he wants to make it.
- 26:06Speaker 5: So fucking bad.
- 26:08Speaker 6: And it sucks because it's like, bro, like how many
- 26:09Speaker 6: times are you gonna watch your friends like cost you,
- 26:14Speaker 6: like like.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Ruin your chances for you?
- 26:16Speaker 4: Like is those other two guys don't care?
- 26:18Speaker 5: They don't care.
- 26:18Speaker 4: They don't give a fuck, So you need to get
- 26:20Speaker 4: rid of them. Oh they're gone, They're gone. And you
- 26:23Speaker 4: know what, I think we need to go farther than that.
- 26:25Speaker 4: I think we need to embarrass them. Well there, that's
- 26:28Speaker 4: already been done. No, it hasn't, it has This world
- 26:32Speaker 4: doesn't necessarily know who those guys are. Yeah, but like
- 26:35Speaker 4: those guys should be working at Popeyes though.
- 26:37Speaker 6: That's the that's the joke, that's the running jokes.
- 26:39Speaker 5: They say fries, it's fries.
- 26:41Speaker 4: But we need to have we need to actually get them.
- 26:43Speaker 4: We need to do something, we need to call in.
- 26:46Speaker 5: It's a weird situation because like one of them.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Can limit their professional opportunities.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I think that's happening. That is going
- 26:52Speaker 6: to happen.
- 26:53Speaker 4: They need punishment, they need to be there need to
- 26:55Speaker 4: be consequences.
- 26:56Speaker 6: One of the players, I would be surprised if he
- 26:58Speaker 6: competes ever again, genuinely, what's his name?
- 27:02Speaker 5: I'm not gonna I don't. I don't want to go
- 27:04Speaker 5: into the I don't want to.
- 27:05Speaker 6: Like, this podcast is too big to be ridiculing those
- 27:10Speaker 6: guys that have nothing to do with it.
- 27:11Speaker 4: I don't think it would be that hard to kick whatever.
- 27:13Speaker 5: They're gonna keep.
- 27:14Speaker 6: That's that's exactly what I mean, though, Like they're all
- 27:16Speaker 6: gonna know, everyone's gonna know, and then the other guy
- 27:18Speaker 6: is going to the pro league.
- 27:20Speaker 1: So maybe if you called as Popeyes to this person
- 27:24Speaker 1: and just be like, we have a good opportunity.
- 27:29Speaker 5: We need a.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Cashier, but well, cashier is actually you have to like
- 27:32Speaker 1: work your way up to cashier.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Just someone dunk in.
- 27:35Speaker 6: The Yeah, definitely you're starting out as the fucking.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Deep Frier guy.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah, whereas worse than I feel like deep Frier is
- 27:41Speaker 1: kind of important too. I feel like the clean up
- 27:43Speaker 1: person lowest than deep fro.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Yeah, someone whoever he is working in the bathroom, Yeah
- 27:49Speaker 6: had Popeyes.
- 27:50Speaker 4: That is a bad bathroom.
- 27:52Speaker 5: That's a bad bathroom. Maybe the worst.
- 27:54Speaker 1: To be honest, check checkers has to have a nasty
- 27:58Speaker 1: but any bath any any restaurant that's serve curly fries
- 28:01Speaker 1: has a bad bathroom, really bad nasty ballad on the ceilings. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 1: there's nothing good going on there, all right.
- 28:10Speaker 6: So whatever I mean, No, you're right, Like, you definitely
- 28:14Speaker 6: are right.
- 28:15Speaker 4: But the only reason I care this much at this
- 28:17Speaker 4: point is because it's genuinely affecting my life now, Yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 4: I mean I never would have thought yeah and now
- 28:23Speaker 4: Byron and fucking face.
- 28:26Speaker 5: That's honestly, that's how I started watching Bravo shows.
- 28:29Speaker 1: It was just like started to fucking affect my life
- 28:31Speaker 1: in ways that I couldn't like help. So I'm like,
- 28:33Speaker 1: now I'm like, fucking Derrinda's at it again as fucking bitch.
- 28:39Speaker 1: At first, I was like this is terrible, Like this
- 28:41Speaker 1: is ruining your is rotting your brain. And then I'm like,
- 28:45Speaker 1: now I'm on the edge of my seat, and I
- 28:46Speaker 1: guarantee by like season three of the Bush, You're gonna
- 28:50Speaker 1: be like wearing the new balances with these guys that
- 28:53Speaker 1: are major.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I mean, I've talked, like mostly jokingly about wanting to
- 28:59Speaker 4: show up to try to motivate these people. I mean honestly,
- 29:02Speaker 4: if I had been there and like seen that, I
- 29:04Speaker 4: don't know what I would have done to those two guys.
- 29:06Speaker 4: It would have been bad. I would have done something
- 29:08Speaker 4: that it was but like you guys, I know, you
- 29:11Speaker 4: guys like maybe Jerry, did Jerry do anything.
- 29:14Speaker 6: Bro, Jerry dude like killed them good?
- 29:18Speaker 5: All right?
- 29:19Speaker 6: Yeah, but that's also where the whole Dave thing stemmed from,
- 29:23Speaker 6: which was kind of taken out of context, like the
- 29:26Speaker 6: when Jerry. I don't know if you saw the clip
- 29:28Speaker 6: of Jerry being like that. We didn't, like know the
- 29:30Speaker 6: practice is awful, no practice, like like just pretty much
- 29:33Speaker 6: just like calling them out after we lost about being
- 29:35Speaker 6: like you guys, you guys placed, how you deserved the place? Okay,
- 29:41Speaker 6: So he said that to them, Jerry, I mean he
- 29:44Speaker 6: he went off.
- 29:45Speaker 5: I mean I kind of blacked out, to be honest,
- 29:46Speaker 5: I'm happy to hear the associated. Yeah, he felt uncomfortable.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I went to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom, I.
- 29:53Speaker 5: Got in, you sat down.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 6: I was just so mad and I was so mad
- 29:58Speaker 6: and I was so like it. It's like such like
- 30:00Speaker 6: a weird mix of like just like deeply depressed and
- 30:04Speaker 6: just like little kid anger at the same time, you
- 30:07Speaker 6: know what I mean, not like helpless, not like I'm mad,
- 30:10Speaker 6: like like literally feel like I'm gonna burst through my skin.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you want to like throw a ketchup pack at
- 30:15Speaker 5: the wall?
- 30:16Speaker 6: Literally?
- 30:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Well, when I was at the airport waiting for baggage claim,
- 30:18Speaker 6: I was just like punching the brick wall with my hand,
- 30:23Speaker 6: just like trying to release some form of energy.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Now.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I was looking on the the I didn't mean to
- 30:28Speaker 1: see this. I was on the Parents of Multiples Reddit
- 30:31Speaker 1: and somehow, like somehow, the t bush comes up. People
- 30:38Speaker 1: are people are saying fucking crazy shit, and I want
- 30:43Speaker 1: you to refute it. They were saying that Mouke isn't
- 30:46Speaker 1: tough enough on crime. That can't be true, bro, that
- 30:50Speaker 1: Mook's not tough on crime.
- 30:51Speaker 6: I feel like I've said this so many times, and
- 30:53Speaker 6: like this kind of has to go with the Austin
- 30:55Speaker 6: thing as well.
- 30:56Speaker 4: It's crime the name of one of them.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Basically, they said that Muka is like tough enough on
- 31:01Speaker 1: the players. I was like, that's not the Muke. I
- 31:02Speaker 1: know that can't be true. Tell me that's not true.
- 31:04Speaker 5: It's not true at all.
- 31:05Speaker 6: If anything, like I'm the one that's not tough on
- 31:07Speaker 6: the players, You're not tough on crime. I'm not tough
- 31:09Speaker 6: on crime. Okay, I don't really think that's my role though.
- 31:13Speaker 6: I don't think my role is to be tough on crime.
- 31:15Speaker 6: Maybe it is. Maybe I'm wrong, Francis.
- 31:17Speaker 4: You might be right.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Maybe I'm wrong.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Maybe I need to be tough on Francis. I don't
- 31:20Speaker 4: know how we're talking about this. I mean.
- 31:23Speaker 6: All I'll say though, is like like Mooke World, Bro,
- 31:28Speaker 6: Moo's like just nonsense. Mooke literally does everything, like the
- 31:35Speaker 6: amount of like disrespect that Mouke gets from within the
- 31:39Speaker 6: office and the company, and like everyone just assumes that
- 31:42Speaker 6: he's not doing anything like this would not this would
- 31:45Speaker 6: have died eight months ago without Muke.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Listen. I don't think any correct me if I'm wrong.
- 31:50Speaker 6: No, you're wrong, I'm correcting you already.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Do people think that he doesn't do anything or do
- 31:56Speaker 4: they think that he is doing misplaced effort?
- 31:59Speaker 5: No, they think he's doing nothing.
- 32:01Speaker 4: And that when when he was editing Anus.
- 32:05Speaker 5: That's how everything began.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Then now pouring it all into this.
- 32:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that's like that was the argument in
- 32:13Speaker 6: the beginning, and the argument and the argument became that
- 32:16Speaker 6: he doesn't do anything for Bush, but like he's.
- 32:19Speaker 5: I did literally bullet.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Like I believe. I believe, Yeah, I believe that.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Like he does just need to make the posters Mook
- 32:25Speaker 1: tough on crime. And I think that that would like
- 32:27Speaker 1: be a propaganda campaign, like I like like type of
- 32:30Speaker 1: thing where you just wear it on a button.
- 32:32Speaker 5: It doesn't make much sense the way that like who's
- 32:37Speaker 5: who is this.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I don't even I didn't know that that was the
- 32:39Speaker 1: consensus either about Mook. Honestly, I never heard that.
- 32:42Speaker 5: Well, I mean, that's.
- 32:43Speaker 4: That's what's been said. It sounds like it's what what
- 32:46Speaker 4: I said.
- 32:47Speaker 6: No, no, it is that. That's what the that's what
- 32:52Speaker 6: Austin thought.
- 32:53Speaker 5: At least.

- 34:07Speaker 4: Okay, so let's talk about Austin.
- 34:10Speaker 6: Yeah, there's nothing, there's nothing crazy to talk about with Austin.
- 34:13Speaker 6: I mean I can give the timeline of what led
- 34:16Speaker 6: up to like that tweet.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I think it was when when Rogan moved from LA,
- 34:19Speaker 1: When Rogan moved to LA, when Brogan.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Moved from LA, it's like then Austin change.
- 34:28Speaker 6: No, the the Austin stuff was like Austin was a
- 34:34Speaker 6: big part of the bush when we first started. He
- 34:37Speaker 6: not like like he was pretty much we started the brand.
- 34:43Speaker 6: The brand requires us to get a budget approved. Dave
- 34:47Speaker 6: doesn't want to deal with Jerry, So Dave said, Austin,
- 34:51Speaker 6: like you just you oversee, like you can fill me
- 34:55Speaker 6: in and all, Okay, the budget is essentially what happened.
- 35:01Speaker 6: And then we won Major three and then uh, like
- 35:08Speaker 6: vibes were immaculate, like with everybody, like like Austin watched
- 35:13Speaker 6: the whole Major three was like like we were all.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Like hugging and ship.
- 35:17Speaker 6: When you hugged, yeah, probably, like it was like a
- 35:21Speaker 6: great moment for the Bush and for like everything that
- 35:23Speaker 6: we had done and uh and then.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Like that's like when Jesus rode into Galilee and everybody
- 35:32Speaker 1: wrote had the palm leaves out and everything, but then
- 35:35Speaker 1: everybody remembers that seven days later Christ was crucified.
- 35:39Speaker 6: Exactly, Yes, exactly, And that's kind of how it felt.
- 35:41Speaker 6: It felt like it felt like we were crucified.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Now.
- 35:46Speaker 4: It was.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I don't really want to
- 35:55Speaker 6: like rip into Austin. I'll I'll say is like he's
- 35:58Speaker 6: a fucking asshole. I think he knows that. The way
- 36:02Speaker 6: that he like talked to us was fucking insane and
- 36:07Speaker 6: I said it on the podcast bro like and that
- 36:09Speaker 6: was what started everything, that was what caused everything. I
- 36:13Speaker 6: don't I genuinely don't think Austin will care that I
- 36:15Speaker 6: say he's an asshole, Like he knows. I think he
- 36:17Speaker 6: doesn't like me.
- 36:18Speaker 5: He's trying to be an asshole.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Yes, he's trying an asshole pose because like he thinks
- 36:22Speaker 1: that's what authoritative is.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Yes, which is fine, but like bro, like, at a
- 36:26Speaker 6: certain point, like you got to realize, like I'm not
- 36:29Speaker 6: I've been at the company for set over seven years,
- 36:32Speaker 6: Like I'm not just gonna I've been here longer than Austin.
- 36:35Speaker 6: I understand that Austin is close with Dave. I'm not
- 36:38Speaker 6: afraid of Dave, like I have a good relationship, Like
- 36:41Speaker 6: I know Dave like shits on me online and stuff.
- 36:44Speaker 6: The last conversation I had with Dave about my contract
- 36:46Speaker 6: negotiation went phenomenal, Like he does not like I'm not
- 36:51Speaker 6: if Austin. If the only thing that Austin has over
- 36:53Speaker 6: us is that he's the barrier between us and Dave,
- 36:56Speaker 6: I'd rather just talk to Dave. Like at that point,
- 36:59Speaker 6: I don't.
- 37:01Speaker 5: I don't need to be like just getting ripped apart.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Like the meeting that we had that we didn't put
- 37:08Speaker 6: out with Austin, which then everyone started calling the Austin files.
- 37:12Speaker 6: We didn't put it out because we didn't want that
- 37:15Speaker 6: to be the content anymore. Like the content bro, Like,
- 37:18Speaker 6: it's our own brand. It's our brand, it's not Austin's brand,
- 37:22Speaker 6: Like he can't tell us who what will content we
- 37:24Speaker 6: have to put out?
- 37:25Speaker 4: Wait quick, question when you brought him in. Was he
- 37:30Speaker 4: a true part of the team or was he sort
- 37:33Speaker 4: of just the liaison at that point?
- 37:34Speaker 6: It wasn't even like it was like when we needed
- 37:37Speaker 6: the budget to be approved, we would have a meeting
- 37:39Speaker 6: with Austin and we would break down the budget completely,
- 37:42Speaker 6: and then he would he would think about it, talk
- 37:45Speaker 6: to Dave about it, and then he would get back
- 37:47Speaker 6: to us.
- 37:47Speaker 1: That would be like oversee the budget with like a
- 37:50Speaker 1: fine toothed comb and take stuff out and be like
- 37:53Speaker 1: why do we need this? Or would it be a
- 37:55Speaker 1: blanket I approve this or I don't approve this.
- 37:58Speaker 6: It would be like a blanket I approved this, I
- 37:59Speaker 6: don't prove this right, and like, don't get me wrong,
- 38:04Speaker 6: like I'm not saying that none of this is deserved.
- 38:06Speaker 6: Like Austin obviously got insanely frustrated with us, like we
- 38:10Speaker 6: weren't like bro, Like we're not the smartest three guys
- 38:13Speaker 6: in the world, Like we're gonna there's gonna be mistakes.
- 38:15Speaker 6: We've never ran a team before, we've never gone to
- 38:18Speaker 6: any of these events before. Like shit's gonna get fucked.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Was he mad about money?
- 38:22Speaker 6: Uh?
- 38:23Speaker 5: Going over budget?
- 38:24Speaker 6: Like budget stuff, like I think Jerry booked a nicky
- 38:27Speaker 6: numbers flight through the budget, which was like a big
- 38:29Speaker 6: no no.
- 38:30Speaker 1: But that's like Ben minstyle fuck up where it's like
- 38:33Speaker 1: it's better that it happened than as if as opposed
- 38:36Speaker 1: to nothing happened.
- 38:37Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 38:37Speaker 6: And then we kind of got to a point after
- 38:40Speaker 6: that meeting where it was like we're just done. Like
- 38:43Speaker 6: it's like this clearly isn't gonna work anymore, Like he
- 38:45Speaker 6: doesn't want to work with us. I don't want to
- 38:47Speaker 6: work with him.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Had the budget for the Vegas trip been approved yet
- 38:52Speaker 4: at that point.
- 38:54Speaker 6: So that was where like he got mad, was we
- 38:57Speaker 6: needed the budget to for Vegas to get approved. We
- 39:01Speaker 6: I didn't want it to be on camera the conversation.
- 39:04Speaker 6: I was like, I'm I don't feel like I was like, bro,
- 39:06Speaker 6: like this is supposed to be about video games. It's
- 39:07Speaker 6: supposed to be about the team, the players meet.
- 39:11Speaker 4: I don't buy that because I said that.
- 39:13Speaker 5: I said that a trillion times.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Yes, but you guys created the behind the Bush thing.
- 39:18Speaker 4: It's a hard guy stage.
- 39:20Speaker 6: But behind the Bush is supposed to be about the
- 39:22Speaker 6: inner workings of the team.
- 39:24Speaker 4: But like, isn't that sort of like your hard Knocks
- 39:27Speaker 4: type of thing of Bush.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 4: But and in hard Knocks they do you're cut from
- 39:31Speaker 4: the team, your contract, this signed your contract, like they
- 39:34Speaker 4: do all of that.
- 39:35Speaker 6: But it's not interesting when it's coming from when it's
- 39:38Speaker 6: not had nothing to do with the players or the team.
- 39:40Speaker 6: It had to do with us and our standing at Barstools. Yes,
- 39:42Speaker 6: because that's not what the show is.
- 39:44Speaker 4: That's not the only thing that the Barstool audience cares
- 39:47Speaker 4: about is you guys. They don't care about Byron.
- 39:50Speaker 6: But that doesn't matter, and then it's not If you
- 39:52Speaker 6: don't care about Byron, then the brand's not for you.
- 39:54Speaker 6: Like that's that's the point that I'm trying to Matt.
- 39:56Speaker 4: I don't that that falls flat for me as an arguments.
- 39:59Speaker 6: Finally that this fine, it doesn't matter, I'm say I'm
- 40:01Speaker 6: telling you I don't want I said this on the
- 40:03Speaker 6: last podcast on Son of a Boy Dad. If your
- 40:06Speaker 6: podcast is strictly which it was becoming, strictly about the
- 40:10Speaker 6: inner workings of Barstool, we're gonna alienate the entire cod
- 40:13Speaker 6: fan base that had come over and supported That's fair.
- 40:16Speaker 6: I agree with that, which I just didn't like. I'm
- 40:18Speaker 6: not saying We're never gonna talk about the inner workings
- 40:21Speaker 6: ever again. I'm just saying, like, not every single episode
- 40:24Speaker 6: has to be about why me and Mook and Jerry
- 40:26Speaker 6: are all retarded and suck at our jobs, and like
- 40:29Speaker 6: Austin screaming at us, and then it got into a
- 40:32Speaker 6: weird thing where like he's trying to tell us like
- 40:35Speaker 6: that we need to be listening to like what the
- 40:37Speaker 6: comments are saying for content, and I was like, bro,
- 40:40Speaker 6: like you don't do content, like you don't know what
- 40:43Speaker 6: you're talking about, like and that was that was the end,
- 40:46Speaker 6: Like that was the end of We didn't speak again
- 40:48Speaker 6: since then. And then it was obvious like I'm not
- 40:51Speaker 6: no one's retarded, Like we knew if we lost, he
- 40:54Speaker 6: was gonna post something and dance on the grave, like, wait.
- 40:57Speaker 4: Hold on, I have one more question that you've moved
- 41:00Speaker 4: quickly because I forgive me, I.
- 41:01Speaker 5: Don't I'll get so you you.
- 41:04Speaker 4: You didn't want him, You didn't want the conversation about
- 41:08Speaker 4: the budget for the Vegas trip to be part of content.
- 41:11Speaker 6: The behind the bush not behind the bush. The owner's
- 41:15Speaker 6: meetings had become like strictly about just talking about the budget.
- 41:20Speaker 6: All the comments were saying I don't want to hear
- 41:22Speaker 6: about the budget anymore. Stop talking about the budget because
- 41:25Speaker 6: the thing is, bro, like we've been approved every time
- 41:28Speaker 6: we've tried to go. Yeah, And that's what it was
- 41:30Speaker 6: frustrating me too, was like why are we having these
- 41:33Speaker 6: nine hour conversations every day where like Mouk and Jerry
- 41:37Speaker 6: are convinced they're gonna get fired. They're like bag dad bomb,
- 41:40Speaker 6: like like, uh, we don't know what's gonna It's like, Bro,
- 41:43Speaker 6: it's happened every time we've tried to go.
- 41:46Speaker 5: It's been approved.
- 41:47Speaker 6: Yeah, And like I'm not that's not the kind of
- 41:49Speaker 6: content that I do. It's not the kind of kind
- 41:51Speaker 6: of content that I enjoy or like I'm not gonna
- 41:54Speaker 6: put myself in a situation where I'm just gonna be
- 41:56Speaker 6: getting screamed at for no reason. Like I have self respect,
- 42:00Speaker 6: Like I know, I know what I am capable of.
- 42:03Speaker 6: I know what we've built with this show, and I'm
- 42:05Speaker 6: positive that we can do the same thing with Bush.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Like I'm not, I have no doubt about it.
- 42:10Speaker 1: It's like you do, you can fall into becoming that
- 42:13Speaker 1: style of content where it's like you only exist if
- 42:16Speaker 1: there's like a Dave or big Cat you know, yes, exactly,
- 42:19Speaker 1: and it's like that is something that like it seems
- 42:22Speaker 1: like you're very consciously trying to avoid and it can
- 42:25Speaker 1: get some people jobs for life, but it also seems like.
- 42:28Speaker 6: I just feel like and and I'm not I'm not
- 42:30Speaker 6: trying to like knock anyone at the company that does
- 42:32Speaker 6: that stuff, but like and and again, I'm I do agree,
- 42:35Speaker 6: like a little bit of it is interesting.
- 42:37Speaker 5: People do want to hear about.
- 42:38Speaker 6: It, but like it can't be the full brand is
- 42:41Speaker 6: just like us getting shit on and then we go
- 42:44Speaker 6: to the do the streams and then people are like
- 42:46Speaker 6: like we come in sixth and then all the comments
- 42:48Speaker 6: are like Austin's shutting you boys down. It's like, bro,
- 42:51Speaker 6: it's not about what we place, it's about the content.
- 42:56Speaker 6: Like this stick well is better for content. But like, dude,
- 42:59Speaker 6: the behind the Bush that like Mac and Quiggs are
- 43:02Speaker 6: working on is going to be like a masterpiece. It's
- 43:04Speaker 6: gonna be like three hours long. Yeah, which is that
- 43:08Speaker 6: was literally the whole goal of the season was the documentary.
- 43:11Speaker 4: But I think that, you know, as someone who doesn't
- 43:17Speaker 4: follow video games, like, yeah, I'm not I if I'm
- 43:20Speaker 4: watching that, I'm not really watching it for the gameplay necessarily, obviously,
- 43:25Speaker 4: I'm rooting for you guys to win, like for me,
- 43:29Speaker 4: the car accident on the England trip. Yeah, of course,
- 43:32Speaker 4: those types of things. That's what draws me in and
- 43:36Speaker 4: makes me But that's what it should be. It should
- 43:38Speaker 4: be like, but you don't like that because it makes
- 43:41Speaker 4: you guys look stupid.
- 43:42Speaker 6: No, no, it's not that I'm fine looking stupid. I
- 43:44Speaker 6: look stupid on this show every week. I'm fine with that.
- 43:47Speaker 6: I don't want someone who's not in charge of me
- 43:50Speaker 6: and has no authority over me to treat me like
- 43:53Speaker 6: he's the CEO.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Of the company.
- 43:54Speaker 4: Okay, so that's very specific to Austin. I'm sort of
- 43:57Speaker 4: just getting Okay, I'm sorry.
- 43:59Speaker 1: So I just don't I don't think that you like
- 44:01Speaker 1: to have a relationship and I wouldn't either, with where
- 44:04Speaker 1: like someone can yell at me and I can't yell
- 44:07Speaker 1: back and they're not paying my bills exactly.
- 44:09Speaker 6: Like it got to a point where I was like,
- 44:11Speaker 6: the like the like, and I don't even really want
- 44:14Speaker 6: to talk about it much more after this, But like
- 44:16Speaker 6: the the tweet that he posted the gig's at tell
- 44:20Speaker 6: you ride Bush.
- 44:21Speaker 4: With the screen, explain this, you gotta explain this. This
- 44:23Speaker 4: so the crux of everything, this is why we're here today.
- 44:26Speaker 5: We get bounced.
- 44:27Speaker 6: We go back to the Airbnb where we're talking to Byron. Uh,
- 44:31Speaker 6: just like breaking down like future plans, like what the
- 44:34Speaker 6: fuck just happened, going over everything, and then we get
- 44:37Speaker 6: a comment on Instagram in the hidden comments from Dave saying,
- 44:42Speaker 6: uh that he's not funding the bush anymore.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Well, what exactly did Dave's comment say? It was like, uh,
- 44:49Speaker 1: didn't practice.
- 44:50Speaker 6: Enough, didn't practice enough, comma comma dot dot, you know,
- 44:54Speaker 6: like very like Dave, Like if you were going to
- 44:56Speaker 6: write as Dave, you would write that take like me,
- 45:04Speaker 6: it's like a lot of like.
- 45:09Speaker 7: That was delicious, Ron, that was delicious.
- 45:14Speaker 6: I don't even care about that. I don't even care.
- 45:15Speaker 4: About what done. What a great joke.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Yeah, that's fabulous, But I don't even care about who
- 45:21Speaker 6: if Dave wrote, if Dave wrote the tweet, or if
- 45:24Speaker 6: Dave wrote the comment, or if Austin wrote the comment,
- 45:25Speaker 6: it doesn't matter, because Dave said pretty much the same
- 45:27Speaker 6: thing on Web this morning anyway, where he said like
- 45:30Speaker 6: the like they didn't practice whatever, So maybe oh.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Wait, that matters that matters immense That matters immensely.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Why if.
- 45:43Speaker 4: I'll preface this by saying, and I know this is
- 45:45Speaker 4: gonna sound cowardly, I don't have a problem with Austin.
- 45:47Speaker 4: Austin helped on the book a lot. Without him, I
- 45:50Speaker 4: would have been fucked. But if Austin is posting comments
- 45:57Speaker 4: that are his opinions under Dave's green name, that to
- 46:02Speaker 4: me is really how to bounce. I don't. I don't know.
- 46:06Speaker 4: I don't there's no way happen.
- 46:08Speaker 5: I don't know. There's no way.
- 46:08Speaker 4: Well, we need to ask Dave. It's my own he
- 46:11Speaker 4: would be honest about that.
- 46:12Speaker 5: No, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
- 46:14Speaker 6: My only reasoning about that I thought it was Austin
- 46:17Speaker 6: is that it was a comment that was hidden on
- 46:20Speaker 6: Instagram but didn't.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Yes, David's account is shadow.
- 46:22Speaker 6: Band on Instagram. Like that's like a known thing, like
- 46:26Speaker 6: Dave's shadow band on Instagram. You know, if you search
- 46:29Speaker 6: his name, you got to type in the full username
- 46:30Speaker 6: for his profile to come up, so his comments are
- 46:33Speaker 6: automatically hidden.
- 46:34Speaker 4: Okay, so why why do you think that? Why does
- 46:37Speaker 4: that mean it's Austin bro.
- 46:38Speaker 5: It was a post with five comments.
- 46:40Speaker 6: Who the fuck is looking at the hidden comments on
- 46:42Speaker 6: a random Instagram reel? Why would Austin be looking at
- 46:45Speaker 6: the hidden comments on a random Instagram reel?
- 46:48Speaker 4: Wait? I am fucking confused.
- 46:50Speaker 1: You're saying the only reason Austin could have found it
- 46:52Speaker 1: because he knows it was there because he had posted it.
- 46:54Speaker 6: Oh that or he or Dave posted it and was like, Austin,
- 46:59Speaker 6: I just posted this that Those are the only options
- 47:02Speaker 6: that they were standing next to each other, or Austin
- 47:07Speaker 6: wrote it. Because there's no fucking way that Austin's just
- 47:11Speaker 6: sitting around reading the comments of random bush Instagram reels.
- 47:16Speaker 6: Everyone post we posted like ten reels.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Well, how would Dave know about who practiced enough? Do
- 47:22Speaker 1: you think Dave was watching?
- 47:24Speaker 5: No, look, I'm positive Dave was not watching.
- 47:27Speaker 4: In fair to be fair here, we would need to
- 47:31Speaker 4: find out whether or not Dave had written that comment.
- 47:34Speaker 6: I don't That's what I'm saying, though, I don't give
- 47:36Speaker 6: a fuck about the comment.
- 47:37Speaker 4: That matters. That's all everything.
- 47:39Speaker 5: No, it's not.
- 47:40Speaker 6: It doesn't matter because Austin quote tweeted the comment.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Also Austin it.
- 47:45Speaker 6: But my reasoning about the Dave thing, it doesn't matter
- 47:47Speaker 6: because Dave said the same thing on what So it's
- 47:50Speaker 6: like it.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Does matter because you're talking.
- 47:53Speaker 6: I don't think it's a secret that Austin posts stuff
- 47:56Speaker 6: for Dave.
- 47:58Speaker 4: That's highly different than posting without Dave's knowledge.
- 48:03Speaker 5: But there's like a scenario I don't know. I'm not
- 48:05Speaker 5: trying to think. I don't know.
- 48:06Speaker 6: It's a crazy accusation. So I'm not trying to make
- 48:08Speaker 6: it seem like, well, that's what I'm wondering. Yeah, I'm
- 48:11Speaker 6: not trying to make it seem like it's one hundred
- 48:12Speaker 6: percent fact. Obviously I'm a little suspicious about it.
- 48:15Speaker 4: But to me, the thing that's the most suspicious is
- 48:19Speaker 4: that you then replied with.
- 48:22Speaker 6: Well, so he screenshotted it and tweeted it, essentially like
- 48:26Speaker 6: joke or not joking, essentially saying like, here's coming, here's
- 48:30Speaker 6: this coming from Dave. You guys, fucking you guys are
- 48:33Speaker 6: getting shut down.
- 48:34Speaker 4: It's done. Good night, he said gg.
- 48:37Speaker 5: But why would he? Why explain it?
- 48:39Speaker 4: Which means a good game? I learned, thank you?
- 48:44Speaker 5: How how did we get Oh this is so new?
- 48:46Speaker 4: What twenty four hours.
- 48:47Speaker 5: It's spent you're learning a lot? Yeah, but how why
- 48:50Speaker 5: was he?
- 48:51Speaker 1: Why would he take Glee and you guys losing because
- 48:53Speaker 1: you guys said that you didn't want him in the
- 48:54Speaker 1: budget meetings anymore, or you don't want to film it
- 48:57Speaker 1: because I feel like there's a gap there if him
- 49:00Speaker 1: taking Glee and you guys losing because.
- 49:02Speaker 6: He's an asshole. I think that's very clear. I think
- 49:07Speaker 6: I've made that very clear. I don't have any personal
- 49:10Speaker 6: problems against Austin. He's a fucking asshole. There's no beating
- 49:14Speaker 6: around that. I'm pretty sure he would admit that at
- 49:16Speaker 6: this point himself.
- 49:18Speaker 5: But I just.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Don't like I thought that he was like on the
- 49:21Speaker 1: team or like for a lot of the season.
- 49:23Speaker 5: You guys hugged a week ago, you were in.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Austin did for the Bush was okay, the budget and
- 49:28Speaker 6: then make the players contracts worse for the players so
- 49:31Speaker 6: that we have to argue about it with them twenty
- 49:33Speaker 6: four hours a day.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Okay. So you see this tweet from Austin and then you.
- 49:42Speaker 6: Replied yeah, and I replied, and I said, I said,
- 49:45Speaker 6: back to full time assistant and your time is freed up.
- 49:48Speaker 5: You no longer have to partake in the Bush.
- 49:50Speaker 6: You can go back to your duties of booking calendars
- 49:53Speaker 6: and whatever the fuck else he does. But like and
- 49:57Speaker 6: then and then you tack, that's a clean shot. By
- 50:00Speaker 6: clean that's a clean shot. That's fair. He's been shitting
- 50:04Speaker 6: on us NonStop for six months. It's not even like
- 50:07Speaker 6: you guys don't even understand you guys don't even know,
- 50:09Speaker 6: like the bro the comment. He goes in the discord
- 50:13Speaker 6: and writes essays trying to turn the fans against us.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Under his own name, under his own name.
- 50:18Speaker 6: Okay, so someone's got to let people know, like, yo,
- 50:21Speaker 6: this guy's not in charge of me. Like I'm not
- 50:24Speaker 6: gonna be I'm not gonna have all of my fans
- 50:27Speaker 6: of the thing that I built thinking that I'm getting
- 50:30Speaker 6: shited on by someone who has no authority over me. Right, Bro,
- 50:36Speaker 6: I was literally talking.
- 50:37Speaker 5: I was telling everyone when we were at the house.
- 50:39Speaker 6: I was like, this reminds me of when I was
- 50:41Speaker 6: a child and my dad had a friend named Tony,
- 50:46Speaker 6: and I always used to say Tony is his boss,
- 50:49Speaker 6: and he would get so fucking mad and he would
- 50:53Speaker 6: be like, Tony's not my boss, and like now I
- 50:57Speaker 6: get it where It's like, Bro, like I'm not like
- 51:00Speaker 6: I have but like, Bro, it's like you have a
- 51:04Speaker 6: boss at work. You're I'm already getting shipped from my
- 51:08Speaker 6: actual bosses.
- 51:10Speaker 5: Why would I want to Why would I willingly be
- 51:13Speaker 5: taking ship from someone who's.
- 51:15Speaker 6: Not my boss? Because I was a kid, I'm a child.
- 51:20Speaker 6: Why because they worked together, they were co workers, so
- 51:26Speaker 6: I always just would like assume like that was his boss,
- 51:30Speaker 6: but it wasn't. It wasn't his boss. And then he
- 51:32Speaker 6: told me and I never said it again, so like
- 51:41Speaker 6: at a like at a certain point, and then and
- 51:46Speaker 6: then and then he goes and then he deletes the tweet,
- 51:51Speaker 6: which deleting the tweet, this is where I got actually made.
- 51:56Speaker 4: That's huge, huge part of this. Okay, so you tweeted that.
- 52:03Speaker 5: Back, are you going out with your boss?
- 52:10Speaker 4: Tony?
- 52:13Speaker 5: No? Bro?
- 52:14Speaker 6: I was like I was probably like six years old,
- 52:18Speaker 6: but I remember very vividly him getting mad and being
- 52:22Speaker 6: like he's not my boss.
- 52:25Speaker 1: And you were, like Tony's in the discord, Tony saying
- 52:30Speaker 1: crazy shit in the discord.
- 52:32Speaker 5: I don't know what to make. Okay, did Tony approve
- 52:36Speaker 5: your your budget?
- 52:37Speaker 4: Dad?
- 52:40Speaker 6: But like it makes sense, like, bro, like you're getting
- 52:42Speaker 6: like everyone gets shipped from their bosses. Like I'm not
- 52:45Speaker 6: saying like I said, me and Dave are are have
- 52:47Speaker 6: a good relationship. Dave gets furious with me constantly. I
- 52:50Speaker 6: get I get emails from Dave with the fucking sponsors
- 52:54Speaker 6: and shiit, what the fuck's wrong with you?
- 52:55Speaker 5: What are you doing?
- 52:56Speaker 6: And he's right, like, I fuck up. So it's like
- 52:58Speaker 6: and I get like, I have conversations with Big Cat,
- 53:00Speaker 6: I've had I've got had conversations bad conversations with Gazz
- 53:04Speaker 6: like you already.
- 53:05Speaker 5: At this company, there's a lot of people that are
- 53:07Speaker 5: in charge. So why would I just let.
- 53:09Speaker 6: Someone else slip into that equation that has no authority? Okay,
- 53:13Speaker 6: And I'm not saying I know Austin has people that
- 53:16Speaker 6: he's in charge of.
- 53:17Speaker 5: I'm just not one of them, so.
- 53:20Speaker 4: So I think that's fair. So this is where things
- 53:24Speaker 4: get really really complicated for me, which is that you
- 53:29Speaker 4: tweeted that back and then Austin deleted his tweet.
- 53:34Speaker 6: Yeah to me, that is this is what I was
- 53:39Speaker 6: raging about this morning.
- 53:41Speaker 4: I shouldn't have done that, And now this is becoming
- 53:45Speaker 4: bigger than I wanted it to be, and I'm trying
- 53:50Speaker 4: to put out a fire that I started.
- 53:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean that's which if that's I.
- 53:56Speaker 5: Got a flamethrower exactly igniting it.
- 54:00Speaker 4: And that is where I started. That's that's where I
- 54:04Speaker 4: think maybe he did write the tweet as Dave. Yeah,
- 54:09Speaker 4: I don't know the comment. Yeah, And that is the
- 54:13Speaker 4: only thing I see as being like, whoa, I think
- 54:17Speaker 4: that is an abuse of power if it happens, yeah,
- 54:21Speaker 4: without Dave's knowledge, and that's a big if we don't know,
- 54:25Speaker 4: and I like to know, I would be.
- 54:27Speaker 6: Honestly, I would be surprised if it happened without Dave's knowledge.
- 54:30Speaker 6: Oh really at this point, just based off of what
- 54:34Speaker 6: he said off of Webb and that's.
- 54:35Speaker 4: Okay, then we need to absolve him. If that's your stance,
- 54:37Speaker 4: then no.
- 54:38Speaker 6: But my thing that I was more so mad about. Also,
- 54:42Speaker 6: Dave commenting on the Instagram is great for us, Like
- 54:45Speaker 6: that's another thing like Dave being Dave talking about Bush
- 54:49Speaker 6: is good. Like he doesn't talk about things that he
- 54:52Speaker 6: doesn't want to talk about, you know what I mean.
- 54:54Speaker 6: He's not talking about brands that he doesn't even know about.
- 54:57Speaker 1: So it's like, is here a chance that Austin backfilled
- 55:00Speaker 1: Dave on the information after the fact said that yeah,
- 55:04Speaker 1: Bush lost, they didn't practice and oh definitely and then
- 55:07Speaker 1: Dave said that on what like that is also a
- 55:11Speaker 1: similar line of well, I mean it's the.
- 55:13Speaker 6: Same exact thing. He covered his trails better in that scenario.
- 55:17Speaker 4: I feel like we really need to ask Dave.
- 55:20Speaker 5: I'm not gonna do that. This will make his way
- 55:23Speaker 5: across his desk. Okay, y'all hit up Austin and ask
- 55:25Speaker 5: if he can.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Ask runner by Jerry Mook though, what's what's Jerry Mook's
- 55:31Speaker 1: opinion on Austin?
- 55:33Speaker 6: I don't know, So that tweet gets deleted and now
- 55:38Speaker 6: like j Jerry's I mean, Jerry was probably on the
- 55:41Speaker 6: phone with him ten minutes after I pressed send. By
- 55:44Speaker 6: He's playing all sides, Jerry, Yeah, yeah, what Jerry doesn't
- 55:48Speaker 6: have a single enemy, really, he gets people that like, yeah,
- 55:52Speaker 6: I mean I'm fucking around obviously, but uh yeah, no,
- 55:56Speaker 6: Jerry's definitely playing all sides.
- 55:59Speaker 5: What about car Mooke?
- 56:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 56:03Speaker 5: I have no idea.
- 56:06Speaker 4: You guys just like you just did the Sean Guardinian
- 56:08Speaker 4: joke without even realizing. What about Connor Mouke? Yeah?
- 56:15Speaker 5: Who else would Connor? I don't think I Calleduke Connor ever,
- 56:23Speaker 5: but no, just refuse to believe that you guys have
- 56:25Speaker 5: never talked about it never. These are all my own opinions,
- 56:30Speaker 5: Like you guys don't exclusive. I bet Matt could tell
- 56:33Speaker 5: us honestly off air.
- 56:34Speaker 6: I mean that that's the thing too, is there's gonna
- 56:35Speaker 6: be a lot of this in behind the bush. It's
- 56:37Speaker 6: going to be a masterpiece. But no, my big thing
- 56:42Speaker 6: that the thing that actually bothered me, like the Austin
- 56:44Speaker 6: thing was whatever, like he I think that was very
- 56:47Speaker 6: fair by me. Like he's shipped on us, he's shut
- 56:50Speaker 6: on us publicly, he's tweeted about, he's gone on podcasts
- 56:53Speaker 6: and he's shut on us. So I think, like I'm
- 56:55Speaker 6: allowed to shop on him publicly once. I feel like
- 56:57Speaker 6: I gave him, uh like the benefit of the doubt
- 57:01Speaker 6: a lot of times. That final tweet dancing on the grave,
- 57:04Speaker 6: I'm not just gonna not reply. Like my immediate thought
- 57:07Speaker 6: when I saw that was like, I got to reply.
- 57:08Speaker 5: To this so or whatever. Dave needs a coffee?
- 57:12Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Like I was running through a couple different bangers.
- 57:16Speaker 6: That tweet would have done one hundred K if he
- 57:18Speaker 6: didn't delete.
- 57:19Speaker 4: It, And that lost you yours too.
- 57:22Speaker 6: Because when when someone deletes a tweet that you quote tweeted,
- 57:24Speaker 6: then it just goes to a link that's dead.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Oh, but it still came up on some accounts like that,
- 57:31Speaker 1: if you've.
- 57:31Speaker 6: Already seen it, if you've already scrolled by it, it.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Will stay there forever for you.
- 57:36Speaker 6: Yeah. The thing that really bothered me, honestly was I
- 57:45Speaker 6: feel like if anyone else at the company tweeted a
- 57:48Speaker 6: dig at someone and then the person replied and they
- 57:51Speaker 6: deleted it, I feel like it would be the story
- 57:54Speaker 6: of the century at the company. Like if you're like,
- 57:58Speaker 6: is that not like something that would get like furious
- 58:01Speaker 6: about not.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Furious, but I think he would. I think he would
- 58:03Speaker 4: look down on it because it's not you're not standing
- 58:06Speaker 4: on your bib.
- 58:06Speaker 6: Like you take a shot at us and the brand.
- 58:08Speaker 6: It's the twentieth time he's done that. He's done that,
- 58:11Speaker 6: and then I say one and bro, I mean, it's
- 58:13Speaker 6: the exact The all of the down word stuff with
- 58:16Speaker 6: Austin started after I said he wasn't my boss. So
- 58:19Speaker 6: it's like, clearly he's it's a thing for him. He's
- 58:22Speaker 6: insecure about it. So it's like, if you're gonna keep
- 58:25Speaker 6: on taking shots, don't be a fucking pussy and delete
- 58:29Speaker 6: your tweet, Like how fucking lame?
- 58:31Speaker 4: Is that?
- 58:32Speaker 6: Like I wanted to text him and be like, are
- 58:34Speaker 6: you fucking like are you joking? Like you can't take
- 58:37Speaker 6: one bad tweet? He's sending five paragraph essays in the
- 58:41Speaker 6: discord talking about how I'm a fucking retard, but one tweet, dude.
- 58:47Speaker 6: That's also the thing is like, bro, like I have
- 58:48Speaker 6: a like I'm not trying to gasp myself up, I
- 58:50Speaker 6: have a big following, Like do you think I'm not
- 58:52Speaker 6: just gonna ever respond Like I'm just gonna just get
- 58:56Speaker 6: walked over forever, Like I'm obviously gonna say something at
- 58:59Speaker 6: some point.
- 59:01Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't understand it. I don't understand it.
- 59:05Speaker 4: I love that.
- 59:06Speaker 5: I love that, you know I have that attitude. Honestly
- 59:08Speaker 5: me too.
- 59:09Speaker 4: I live in fear. I live in fear. I'm one
- 59:12Speaker 4: of these people.
- 59:12Speaker 6: But everyone lives in fear. But at a certain point,
- 59:14Speaker 6: you if you were in my shoes, So.
- 59:16Speaker 4: I don't live in fear of other co workers, right,
- 59:19Speaker 4: And that's what I live in fear of Dave.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Yes, if if you were in my shoes, you would
- 59:24Speaker 6: have said something before I've done it.
- 59:26Speaker 4: I went at pat Bev.
- 59:27Speaker 6: Yeah, you would have would be six months before I
- 59:30Speaker 6: said something.
- 59:31Speaker 4: Absolutely, Yes, you have a remarkable capacity for abuse. You
- 59:36Speaker 4: are a very patient person. You you do you let
- 59:39Speaker 4: things roll off pretty darn well.
- 59:41Speaker 5: Because I'm not trying to. I'm not trying to start ship.
- 59:43Speaker 6: I'm not trying to, like, I'm not trying to be
- 59:45Speaker 6: a part of the fucking circus that yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 6: I mean obviously it is now, but it's like, maybe
- 59:51Speaker 6: it's not because there hasn't been a single fucking start
- 59:54Speaker 6: in talking about it.
- 59:55Speaker 5: Yeah, Austin is going to delete this podcast?
- 59:58Speaker 4: What do you mean nobody's talking about it.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: Nobody mentioned that Austin.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: No, not a single person from the company mentioned that
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Austin deleted his tweet.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Well, we'll see what people say now.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I'm very curious about this because again, I think that
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: Austin takes a lot of notes from Dave's playbook. I
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: think he, you know, like Gaz says like this is
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: how Barcel does things, and like.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: Bro, I've got yelled at by Gad. When I first
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: started here, Gaz was my direct boss, like everything. Weekly
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: meetings with Gaz where he chewed me the fuck out,
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: and not a single one of those meetings was even
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: comparable to the last meeting we had with Austin, not
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: even comparable. What was different just a just a just
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: a dick, a bad guy. Well, it was just a
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: total attack on everything that he could possibly think of.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: It was like when you get mad and you just
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: start saying mean things, you know, like people. It was
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: like he lost his temper. He fully lost his temper.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: That's mean, I mean, what.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: A way to put it. That's very I haven't heard
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: that used that way.
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: I mean, it's it's embarrassing loss.
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: It truly is embarrassing.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: If you're going to play the part of the big
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: business guy, you can't let me, Mook and Jerry get
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: under your skin that easily, genuinely, Bro, Do you think
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Dave doesn't get mad at Jerry but he lets it
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: go over him because he knows what he's doing.
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: I think that I can't help but kind of wonder
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: about the deleting of the tweet. Again, my point what
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: I was getting to is that because Austin knows Dave
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: so well and knows his style and in some ways
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: emulates it right, and as does Gaz, as do a
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: lot of people here, it's very at odds with Dave's style.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: Dave would never delete that tweet.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: Dave has you know, he wouldn't deleate any tweet. He
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: would never delete He some tweets about.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: He has tweets that he has continuously been canceled for
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: right time and time again that are just still up. Yeah,
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: so you won't delete them. Yeah, so much size six
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: genes thing standing on business. Yeah, he doesn't take back anything.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: Tom Brady Dick thing. Yeah, he doesn't take back anything.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: You know that whole if you read the book, that
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: old sized sic skinny gene thing was not was not
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: his fault.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: I really don't even know much about it.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: That that that one, and people always reference it, and
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: it got bastardized and in such a ridiculous way. The
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: way that he wrote that blog was not to say
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: what people accused him saying. He was mocking the lunacy
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: of the ruling of that court case. That anyone would
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: argue that it's not that guine that moment in time
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: when I because I didn't know the truth of it,
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: when I learned about it from the book, that was
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: the moment where I was like, Dave's right, I don't
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: A lot of these people don't care about the truth
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: and they were only out to get him.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: First when Shane got canceled for like the doing the
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Chinese accent or whatever.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: But he was like making fun of people doing like yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: the attitudes character.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Yeah yeah right right, So anyway, Yeah.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: I don't know much about that, but I just mean,
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: like you know what I mean, Like he doesn't he
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: doesn't take back shit like that, correct, So I think
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: that's a crazy thing to say and then just take
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: it back when the comments aren't going your way.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Do you think that's why he did that? You think
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: that's why? Oh?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I think I think his response will be, well, it
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: was getting like too much traction, Like I'm not sure,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Like I don't know, Like, how do you I'm trying
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: to like steal man his side of the argument of
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: why it would be appropriate to delete that?
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: What do you think his best argument?
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: Am I insane? Am I the only one that thinks
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: the only reason you would ever delete that argument is
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: because you realize you made a mistake using your boss's
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: name to write a comment you shouldn't have, and now
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: there's light being shined on it, and therefore.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: I don't know, I I don't I.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Is that a conspiracy theory or is that the I
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: don't think.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: Theory.
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: I think it's a hypothetically that.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Though it's like the most like the simplest answer is
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the answer.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: And that's where everyone's head went immediately.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: So okay, So though I'm not telling him no, no,
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: you're not in thinking it is the that's the common
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: that's the belief that everyone has, okay, Or that a
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: lot of people thought that Dave told him to delete it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Well, I think that what people don't know is that
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Austin originally wrote the Size six and that was him
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that wrote that. That Tom Brady's kid as a howitzer thing.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: That was Austin as well. Yeah, he has a long trail.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: And this is why the Austin comedy scene has become.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: I just think, like, bro, like you picked a bad time,
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: picked a bad time.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Like Dave just also didn't know that your flight was
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: going to get delayed. You've also knew your flight was
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: going to get delayed. He would have probably never said
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: any of this because he knew he'd be throwing a
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: snowball into a tornado.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: Yeah. One thing I love.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: About summer is how easy everything feels. And what I
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: like about summer is how simply you can put together
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: a really good outfit with the basics. My palliative for that,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: My cure is white pants, Quince shirt. I've been running
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: that playbook all summer. I have a really nice kind
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: of revolving door that I can go through.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I have some nice.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Just like it's like a button down basic that's like
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a cotton woven blend. It feels fantastic, it looks fantastic,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: the price point is just right, and uh, I'm just
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Quins is just an automatic. When people and my family
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: want to get me a gift, they know to get
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: me Quince. If I'm shopping for myself, I know that
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm about to go to Quinn's. Get a new pair
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: of pants, get a new shirt, get something stylish. My
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: mom's getting furniture for her new house, all via Quints.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Quints revolves around my life. My life revolves around Quince.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: It is truly the best, and I am blessed for
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: having it in my life. I mean that that button
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: down shirt, that blue button down shirt, I will have
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: dreams about for the rest of my life. It has
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: changed my summer, and that's why listeners should use it

- 1:08:03Speaker 4: You are looking real confident. There is there any part
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: of you that feels that there is a vulnerability that
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: you are not considering.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, dozens. What what do you mean vulnerability?
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: No, I'm not. I'm not really worried about up some
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: some I hate to use the word chink in your armor. WHOA,
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: that's totally fine. That still is a thing episode that
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: you can say, John, make it the title, cut it,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: cut the whole thing, start over. Welcome all back to
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: the Son of a Boy, Day ten forty five. Now,
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: all right, so.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: What's this, Uh yeah, oriental person in the armor.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: Yes, a.
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: Showing from the Beijing of that is in the armor.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: And he's national in the armor that you have overlooked.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: Is there is there? Yeah?
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: I mean there's always a possibility that Dave is going
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: to be like, stop talking about Austin, or.
- 1:09:13Speaker 5: Maybe like, well that's not that's not what I mean.
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: Maybe there's a world where he puts him in charge
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: of me.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: Oh my god, how do you even speak that?
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: I just I would have to quit.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: Austin gets to determine Harry's next salary.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I think we're we got to go Notre Dame Rudy
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: like desk jerseys on the desk if that happens.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and then Dave would be like we've been meeting
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: to downsize, thanks for making it easy for me. Yeah.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: If they just play the game without all of Notre
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Dame anyway, yeah yeah.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I would say I'm probably gonna not
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: sleep at all tonight, probably a tossing and turning.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Well, we're a good thing.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: We're recording in fucking four or five hours, so like,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: you don't have to I really don't have to sleep.
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: I'm not super worried I think the fact the way
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: that I saw it honestly was and I probably maybe
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: it's the wrong way of looking at it. I think
- 1:10:11Speaker 6: I think Dave saying that this is the fastest growing
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: podcast that we have kind of made me feel bulletproof
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: for the time. That is not in the sense of
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: like I'm I'm obviously like I'm not taking a victory lap, obviously,
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: but just like I know my role at the company.
- 1:10:29Speaker 5: I think it's I think and I don't.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Think i'm below a point, like I don't think I'm
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: speaking out of my.
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: Level.
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I think I have earned the right to
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: say what I said.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely absolutely. By the way, anyone here is allowed
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: to say what they want to say. Yeah, that is
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: the beauty of this place, right, any intern producer. But
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: I think that Harry Non camera on person, they can
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: all jump in the fray. Yeah yeah, at any point
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: and speak.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: For a long time, people were like, you're too young
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to be able to talk.
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's uh. I think people will hit
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: you with the life experience for yeah, yeah, well you're
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: an old man now. Yeah. For the six and a
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: half of the first even.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: You, more than any of the women here have aged actors.
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: I feel like I'm fucking forty five.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: You are the prophecy.
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Benjamin Buttoning.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Well that's I mean. I'm very excited, well, slightly trepidacious,
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: but mostly excited to see how this.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: Aren't you glad to watch somebody else say all those things? Yeah?
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: I can't help, but wonder if I haven't you know,
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: if am I going to pro probably catch some strays
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: because I really pushed the narrative there, No, no, no,
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: you were I think you were just asking.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: You were asking a good questions. You're asking the questions.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: Yeah. I just don't know how I see it any
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: other way. I don't. I there must be there must
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: be an explanation.
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: You want to investigate the investigators.
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: Well, I also I want to clear a name if
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: this is a false sort of accusation, right, don't we need.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: An alibi Frosting and Dave? Yeah, we need to know
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: exactly what they were each doing.
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: No, I need to know, like we need camera.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Dave tweeting it out, like we need to get the
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: security cameras.
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: No shot he has cameras, no shot, he doesn't have cameras.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, okay, well great, great, Uh just a
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: great saga.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: That was an incredible saga.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Yeah, that was really good man, and the Bush will
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: live on. That's the hardest I've ever left on the podcast.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: Bye bye, none. You're talking about Tony for the fuck?
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Did Tony my dad?
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: If that's okay?
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: Oh please, we are not cutting anything from this episode.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: That is Tony's last name. I can never.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: You said that you brought worst case scenarios. This gets
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: back to Tony. That's the worst case scenario.
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: He's like, I was paying your dad for twenty years.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: What do you mean, I'm not a boss.
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: Dad loses this job now?
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, Oh man, that's fantastic.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: That would be devastating, unbelievable.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: Why don't we Why don't we wrap there? I know
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: I'm not trying to cut this short. It's just we
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: do have to be These guys got to turn the
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: episode around. It's fucking eleven pm, yeah, and we have
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: to be back here at nine am. So I think
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: in the interest of savings, you know what I mean? No,
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: I totally agree. There's plenty more to talk about. Yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: we'll have lots of great boy Dad on Thursday. I'm glad.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: I thank you guys. For waiting for me. I'm glad
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: we were able to do I think that I think
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: that was worth it. Yeah, that was worth the wait.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Oh my god, god I had I was out of control, laughing.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: I was making a fool of myself. My face is
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: going to be dog Penis rap. I know that. I'm
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: already dreading how that's gonna look. But whatever, all.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: Right, all right, Well we'll see you guys on Thursday. Goodbye.
