- 0:01Speaker 1: It's Wayne d in studio, in this studio with the
- 0:04Speaker 1: guy who actually has his name just down the street,
- 0:06Speaker 1: Derek's Bentley.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's up? I know, dude, this studio is the coolest
- 0:09Speaker 2: thing I've ever seen.
- 0:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna text Jason when I leave here and like,
- 0:12Speaker 3: I'm I'm kind of jealous about Whiskey Row is the
- 0:14Speaker 3: coolest bar and Lower probably, but this is pretty good place,
- 0:19Speaker 3: honest to your studio is this is incredible? I mean,
- 0:21Speaker 3: looking out, I'm looking at a live music on the
- 0:23Speaker 3: stage here, there's a big green tractor outside.
- 0:25Speaker 2: And then look out the window here and I can
- 0:26Speaker 2: see Miranda's Bar. And I've always said the Lower Broadway
- 0:29Speaker 2: is the this is the heartbeat of Nashville. It's not
- 0:32Speaker 2: music Row.
- 0:33Speaker 3: This is where all the kids come to play country music,
- 0:35Speaker 3: to play for audiences, learn how to work a tip
- 0:38Speaker 3: jar de old drunk people. And uh so you guys
- 0:42Speaker 3: are parked right in the middle of it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: So pretty cool.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And let me ask you, because obviously the bar thing
- 0:46Speaker 1: is is still a big deal in a big part
- 0:48Speaker 1: of your brand, but it's more like, yeah, I'm doing it,
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm doing it, but like music, you know, I mean,
- 0:53Speaker 1: it's not like you just started it.
- 0:54Speaker 4: What was that bar thing like?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Because I'd imagine that first when somebody approaches you, it's
- 0:59Speaker 1: like me right now. Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 2: The first one I did.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Was in called Whiskey Row and Scott's still from Arizona
- 1:04Speaker 3: and that was back in twenty like twelve or yeah, twelve.
- 1:06Speaker 2: So we had it out there. Mary, my manager, said
- 1:09Speaker 2: we should do one on Nashville. I said, we can't
- 1:11Speaker 2: do it in Nationville.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I mean, the girls, the clothing's a little light on
- 1:14Speaker 3: the clothing, you know, And I'm like, national's not really
- 1:16Speaker 3: ready for this, you know.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It's it's pretty wild.
- 1:18Speaker 3: But she's like, no, we should do and I'm like,
- 1:20Speaker 3: all right, well, of course she's right. I mean this
- 1:23Speaker 3: it's wild down here. It's crazy. So my we put
- 1:25Speaker 3: ours in. We started.
- 1:26Speaker 2: We're the first one to really start doing that here.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I love it. It's fun.
- 1:30Speaker 3: I mean I just love as someone that start off
- 1:32Speaker 3: playing bars in Lower Broadway down here, have your own bar,
- 1:35Speaker 3: especially mine. It's located in the old Groon Guitar Shop.
- 1:38Speaker 3: That's a place I used to go back in the
- 1:39Speaker 3: late nineties to look at guitars that I couldn't.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Afford, and so to have and I end up buying
- 1:44Speaker 2: the building.
- 1:44Speaker 3: So it's it's pretty cool full circle moment, and I
- 1:48Speaker 3: just love it down here. We're gonna come down here.
- 1:50Speaker 3: It's harping not to look out the window. I'm just
- 1:51Speaker 3: like I want to go, like go out and see
- 1:54Speaker 3: what's going on out there.
- 1:55Speaker 4: And then Morgan Wallant took your parking lot in the back.
- 1:57Speaker 2: That's dude.
- 1:58Speaker 3: That parking lot they offered to sell it to us,
- 2:02Speaker 3: you know it was. It was back in two thousand
- 2:03Speaker 3: and seventeen. They offered to sells a parking lot for
- 2:07Speaker 3: a one point five million and I'm like, ye, I
- 2:08Speaker 3: don't have.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Any more money. I'm just tapped out. I'm already put
- 2:11Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Money into this building. It sold like three years later
- 2:14Speaker 3: for ten point five and there was only like twelve spoce.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I spend a million dollars for five parking spaces. Every
- 2:22Speaker 3: fifteen parking spaces. Yeah, sold for ten million dollars.
- 2:24Speaker 1: To be honest with me, you probably got more space
- 2:26Speaker 1: in your driveway than that parking lot.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Tiny, No, it was. It's a small parking lot.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I just yeah, I sho probably shouldnt talking about umbers
- 2:33Speaker 3: like that, but it just kind of blew my mind
- 2:34Speaker 3: as like up, I'd like.
- 2:35Speaker 2: To have that one back.
- 2:38Speaker 3: We could have come up with at a one point
- 2:39Speaker 3: five if we knew to do so many four years later,
- 2:42Speaker 3: there's go fundmes for so many different things right now.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I bett Dirk's Bentley to buy.
- 2:47Speaker 2: We just started a fund we could in like a
- 2:48Speaker 2: community fund.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Hey, everybody put in a you know, that's a hell
- 2:50Speaker 3: thousand bucks and we would all we all next it.
- 2:53Speaker 1: That that's a hell of a song right there by
- 2:55Speaker 1: the way, buy me a parking lot that How have
- 2:59Speaker 1: things been with you? The most recent project we caught
- 3:01Speaker 1: up on was the Tom Petty Deal that you were
- 3:03Speaker 1: a part of. Yeah, the Petty Country. What was that
- 3:07Speaker 1: experience like now that it's fine out there and live?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I really love the track.
- 3:11Speaker 3: It really had a lot of the bluegrass instrumentation that
- 3:13Speaker 3: I loved mixed with the bigger sound. It was a
- 3:16Speaker 3: really great song to have on the road this summer.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Of course we was singing the SEMA Awards. That was
- 3:19Speaker 3: great with three other musicians, Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hall
- 3:26Speaker 3: and Bronwin who's a great bluegrass musicians, so really fun
- 3:29Speaker 3: to have them in that band for that performance, and
- 3:31Speaker 3: it's been great. Honestly, I thought that was kind of
- 3:34Speaker 3: my I thought I was gonna kick this new project off.
- 3:36Speaker 2: But that sound, that's that was the mentality. I went
- 3:39Speaker 2: into this next recording process and writing process and somehow
- 3:42Speaker 2: wound up with a song called.
- 3:43Speaker 3: She Hates Me as the next single. So you never
- 3:45Speaker 3: know what's gonna happen when you get in the studio.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's like you have plans.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It's like that thing, you know, you tell God you
- 3:51Speaker 3: want to see someone. God laugh at you tell him
- 3:53Speaker 3: him your plans, right, because it never works out the
- 3:55Speaker 3: way you think it is.
- 3:57Speaker 2: But that was I love the way that song turned out.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Just I've kind of gone into a different direction for
- 4:01Speaker 2: this album, and uh, but it was.
- 4:03Speaker 3: It was really great, so fun, and so fun to
- 4:05Speaker 3: have that song on the set list. I mean I
- 4:06Speaker 3: just sang it two nights ago out in Colorado and
- 4:09Speaker 3: I was playing for a crowd of people that didn't
- 4:10Speaker 3: know all my personal songs, you know, Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And that kick into that and everyone just goes crazy.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Is it special to you to know that, like you're
- 4:18Speaker 1: part of that tribute moving forward? Because you said that
- 4:20Speaker 1: that song had been a part of your sets in
- 4:22Speaker 1: the past.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I mean, that song is such a big someone's probably
- 4:25Speaker 3: singing one of these bars down here right now. It's
- 4:27Speaker 3: a song that's like it's like a Margaritaville or something,
- 4:29Speaker 3: and that it crosses over right. It's like as the
- 4:32Speaker 3: Tom Petty track, like a lot of country fans know.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But it's also one of his biggest songs. I mean,
- 4:39Speaker 3: the last Chili played. I think this was the last
- 4:40Speaker 3: song he sung. You know, it's like that he was
- 4:42Speaker 3: like three encorees and this is the final song. So
- 4:45Speaker 3: that's pretty pretty special. And this state, I guess you'd
- 4:48Speaker 3: say his family has been really great, sent me a
- 4:51Speaker 3: letter and you know they're to make them proud of
- 4:54Speaker 3: the recordings.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Was really important for us and they were, And so.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a nice, nice little chapter in between
- 5:01Speaker 3: the two projects that in the last record in this one.
- 5:05Speaker 1: When you say after that you had a plan to
- 5:07Speaker 1: go into the studio and then she Hates Me kind
- 5:10Speaker 1: of popped up and worked. And did you feel pressured
- 5:13Speaker 1: to change things or is there any disappointment when when
- 5:16Speaker 1: something works out different than you hope?
- 5:18Speaker 2: No?
- 5:18Speaker 3: No, I mean I think that's what makes music great.
- 5:20Speaker 3: It's just never knowing if you're doing it the right way.
- 5:23Speaker 3: You know, when I write songs and think about albums,
- 5:25Speaker 3: I'm not thinking about my fans at all. I mean,
- 5:27Speaker 3: I think I'm doing them a disservice. So I'm trying
- 5:29Speaker 3: to make something for them, right the artists that I love. Please,
- 5:32Speaker 3: don't make a song that I like. Do your thing
- 5:34Speaker 3: and I'll I'll come find meet you where you're at,
- 5:36Speaker 3: and maybe I like it, maybe I don't.
- 5:38Speaker 2: That's okay. I want you to go to your thing.
- 5:40Speaker 2: So I'm just I'm just trying to follow the.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Muse and I get great songwriters together and also listen
- 5:45Speaker 3: for a lot of great outside songs.
- 5:46Speaker 2: This current she Hates Me was not even meant to
- 5:49Speaker 2: be a song.
- 5:49Speaker 3: We finished A great song was that we loved, and
- 5:53Speaker 3: we had this idea of those next song lined up.
- 5:55Speaker 3: We were gonna take a little break before we try
- 5:57Speaker 3: to write two songs in a day. It was a
- 5:59Speaker 3: kind of a long day, and uh, someone started noodling
- 6:02Speaker 3: around on this thing, and then someone else hears it.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Now we're all back in the room, we're all pitching
- 6:06Speaker 3: lines in and just kind of having fun goofing around,
- 6:09Speaker 3: and thirty minutes later, it's done, and we're all laughing
- 6:12Speaker 3: and just can't believe that just just happened, and we're like, okay,
- 6:15Speaker 3: now let's move on to the real song. You know,
- 6:16Speaker 3: this was not the real song.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It wasn't even supposed to be, just someone just messing around.
- 6:21Speaker 2: But then I, you know, I kind of played it for.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Some people and my kids loved it, and Dad, you
- 6:27Speaker 3: gotta record that, and so we did, and the record
- 6:30Speaker 3: came out great. And at that point I do kind
- 6:32Speaker 3: of back off because I just know myself too well.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I just don't I don't lean towards the fun songs.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I was even from day one with you know, I
- 6:39Speaker 3: never wanted what was I thinking to be a single?
- 6:42Speaker 3: Thank god, I almost didn't Putdrunk on a Plane on
- 6:43Speaker 3: the album.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 6:46Speaker 3: To me, I love George Jones, and like, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I love old school, serious country songs.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You know, it's kind of what I listened to.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And so I just really trust, you know, my label
- 6:57Speaker 3: and the people I work with for the kind of
- 6:59Speaker 3: the the thirty thousand foot view of what was happening,
- 7:03Speaker 3: as opposed to my like micromanaging you and everyone just
- 7:05Speaker 3: kind of this is a song that it won by
- 7:07Speaker 3: a natural selection, right, there's no like no one was
- 7:09Speaker 3: pushing for It's like this just kind of popped up.
- 7:11Speaker 1: When you talk about George Jones type stuff. You have
- 7:15Speaker 1: to keep doing that because that's what you love, right,
- 7:17Speaker 1: That's what's in your heart.
- 7:18Speaker 3: So I just love those kind of crooners message this morning,
- 7:21Speaker 3: listened to Frank Sinatra on the turntable before I with
- 7:23Speaker 3: my coffee. I just love like those those serious, big voices,
- 7:28Speaker 3: you know, the guys that can sing and girls Alison
- 7:31Speaker 3: Kraus and people look can get in there and like
- 7:33Speaker 3: just start.
- 7:34Speaker 2: You know, needling on your your your heart, you know,
- 7:37Speaker 2: just getting I love that.
- 7:37Speaker 3: So I love the fun songs too. Joe Diffie's one
- 7:39Speaker 3: of my favorite singers of all time. He had a
- 7:41Speaker 3: lot of great fun songs. He also had ships that
- 7:43Speaker 3: don't come in. I think you gotta have that. Toby
- 7:45Speaker 3: Keith had a lot of.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Funny songs, but also some huge serious songs, and that's
- 7:49Speaker 2: kind of what who I am, you know.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I think that's what people know us for on the
- 7:54Speaker 3: road for sure, is those songs that.
- 7:56Speaker 2: You know, how might are I hold on or maybe?
- 8:00Speaker 3: But also you know what was I think and Somewhere
- 8:02Speaker 3: on a Beach and Drunk on a Plane, and I
- 8:04Speaker 3: like those songs.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I like people.
- 8:05Speaker 3: When it comes time to pick a single, I do
- 8:07Speaker 3: think about people driving to work. I do think about
- 8:09Speaker 3: people spend one hundred dollars on tickets and t shirts
- 8:12Speaker 3: and beer to come to a show, and like, what's
- 8:14Speaker 3: going to lift them and move them either this direction
- 8:18Speaker 3: or that direction?
- 8:19Speaker 2: And this song? I mean, it's fun. Our show is fun.
- 8:21Speaker 3: At the end of the night, we start getting in
- 8:22Speaker 3: this rapid fire hits of like Drunk and Thinking and
- 8:25Speaker 3: Somewhere on a Beach, and then.
- 8:26Speaker 2: The Hot Country Nights come out. It is it's fun.
- 8:29Speaker 3: It's fun playing with people like that and getting them all,
- 8:32Speaker 3: you know, lifted up like that.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I want to talk more on the new single in
- 8:35Speaker 1: a second, but you brought up Hot Country Nights and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I wanted to ask, was that supposed to be a
- 8:42Speaker 1: short lived like let's just screw around on this and
- 8:44Speaker 1: now it's really got its own life.
- 8:46Speaker 3: That was from yeah, just being on the road. I mean,
- 8:48Speaker 3: that's it's hard. Like I said, looking out the window here,
- 8:51Speaker 3: you got the best studio I've ever seen in my life.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It's it all was because of this. When you're on
- 8:55Speaker 2: the road, we do this weird thing. We're like, oh man,
- 8:58Speaker 2: I wish you could just go play a Gigo Roberts.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You know, it's like here are we've made it.
- 9:03Speaker 3: We're playing for twenty thousand people, and we're on the
- 9:05Speaker 3: road that night, going how fun would be the like
- 9:07Speaker 3: backup Roberts playing a show? You know, it's so stupid,
- 9:10Speaker 3: But we listened to the nineties country over and that's all
- 9:13Speaker 3: we'd listened on the road. I mean, it's just it
- 9:14Speaker 3: goes on till two o'clock in the morning. Who can
- 9:16Speaker 3: like play a song?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Forgot about that one. And then this idea came up
- 9:22Speaker 3: and our only goal was just to play Roberts as
- 9:25Speaker 3: in this alter ego band. And but the whole thing
- 9:28Speaker 3: was like just a lot of rehearsals. We probably rehearsed
- 9:30Speaker 3: three times just for one show. We wanted to be
- 9:32Speaker 3: not just like I remember we were going to work
- 9:34Speaker 3: up like just to See You Smile by McGraw and
- 9:37Speaker 3: there's a banjo rolling banjopart, and we wanted to play
- 9:39Speaker 3: the exact right way. You know, was he what was
- 9:41Speaker 3: he cape on? In the fifth Threat? Or was he
- 9:43Speaker 3: playing open strings.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I remember our.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Guy and our band, you know, reaching out to the
- 9:47Speaker 3: studio musician that played banjo on that song. We wanted
- 9:50Speaker 3: to be like just totally dialed in musically, yeah, and
- 9:52Speaker 3: then the antics can come later. But it was just
- 9:54Speaker 3: meant to be down there, really, and then we started
- 9:56Speaker 3: kind of sneaking in on the road, like opening for ourselves.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And then the first real show we.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Had to do a makeup date in Cincinnati and the
- 10:05Speaker 3: band Lanco couldn't make the makeup dates, so someone had
- 10:08Speaker 3: to fill the first of three slots, so it was
- 10:10Speaker 3: Hot Country Nights Brothers Osbourne than Us, and I remember
- 10:14Speaker 3: walking down on stage going this, I'm my career is
- 10:18Speaker 3: going to end right now, this is going to I've
- 10:19Speaker 3: worked so hard to get here and here I'm walking
- 10:22Speaker 3: on stage with two bananas my pants.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And it's all over. It's this.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I've ruined my career. I've literally put a knife in it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: But it's it's been a nice edition.
- 10:31Speaker 1: One of the first dates y'all did as well with
- 10:33Speaker 1: Hot Country Nights was in Las Vegas. I feel within
- 10:36Speaker 1: the first handful because I remember being there and people
- 10:38Speaker 1: were like, is that Dirks is that right? Yeah, because
- 10:40Speaker 1: like as the radio guy would know, and so I'm like,
- 10:43Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Then like a couple of weeks later like yeah that's me.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, because we won't tell anybody. We
- 10:49Speaker 2: just walk out and do it. And there was no
- 10:51Speaker 2: wink wink, hint hint at all.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I get emails saying great, they write management its great show.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Dirks was so great, but that opening band it was terrible.
- 11:01Speaker 2: You know, he's got to do better than that.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Did they ever do any free radio shows? Our Country Nights?
- 11:06Speaker 2: They I'm sure they were asked, you know. The Knights were, yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 2: we have.
- 11:10Speaker 3: And the Knights were poised for a big We had
- 11:13Speaker 3: an album coming out April of twenty twenty.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah we've done.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Jimmy Kennell, we were doing We're gonna do foun, We're
- 11:18Speaker 3: gonna do Good Morning America, all lined up and then
- 11:21Speaker 3: we were saying the universe is like, you know what,
- 11:23Speaker 3: we've got to like shut this band down somehow, so
- 11:26Speaker 3: we're gonna talk to the lab in China.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:31Speaker 1: That was the world saying hey Dirk, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: go home and hanging with your family enough yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, once again the Knights got Yeah. Their whole career
- 11:39Speaker 3: has been just a series of disappointments, and once again
- 11:42Speaker 3: it's fun. Actually, they were we are supposed to open for
- 11:45Speaker 3: Zilia Brown. They're playing near February thirteenth, but it was
- 11:48Speaker 3: originally February third, and then some of the market lost
- 11:50Speaker 3: his voice.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they moved to the date that we
- 11:52Speaker 2: can't do.
- 11:53Speaker 3: But so everything we touched basically turns to crap, is
- 11:56Speaker 3: how it turns out.
- 11:57Speaker 4: That's fine.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Yeah, things are good for Dirk's Bentley, things are to me,
- 12:00Speaker 1: night's not so good. So back to the single you
- 12:03Speaker 1: were in the studio song kind of just happened? Does
- 12:06Speaker 1: that mean that this is a part of We're going
- 12:08Speaker 1: to find the album details out at some point, that
- 12:10Speaker 1: this will be a part of.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yeah, new albums come out this summer, and you know,
- 12:14Speaker 3: there's there's there's I'm so exad about the record, you know, speaking.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Like serious or great songwriting.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Steven Wilson Junior, you know, I collaborated on a couple
- 12:22Speaker 3: of songs together, got some great outside songs. It just yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 3: I'm really excited about it. As always, these things just
- 12:31Speaker 3: take so long. I'm always thinking I started working on this,
- 12:35Speaker 3: it's like three different times in the studio once again
- 12:37Speaker 3: to try to get it right, you know.
- 12:38Speaker 2: But really it's just it's awesome. I'm really excited for it.
- 12:41Speaker 3: It's been a while since I've had a new albums.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I guess it's been a couple of years, you know.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I think Gold's last single I really had out and
- 12:47Speaker 3: that's been, you know, been a few years.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah, and this song is so good.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Man album's gonna come out, leads right into the tour
- 12:54Speaker 2: or a new tour, new all all that stuff. It's
- 12:56Speaker 2: and uh Zach top on the road with us, which
- 12:58Speaker 2: is super awesome. I mean, that's gonna be a really
- 13:01Speaker 2: fun summer for us as fans of his music in general.
- 13:04Speaker 2: So we're excited as a band and crew.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You said it fell together pretty much in about thirty minutes,
- 13:09Speaker 1: this song y song. Yeah, is this the fastest song
- 13:11Speaker 1: that's kind of falling into place for you?
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:13Speaker 2: I come a little closer. Came really quick too.
- 13:15Speaker 3: That was funny because we're Brett Beavers and I wrote
- 13:17Speaker 3: that song together, and I was in his office and
- 13:19Speaker 3: we were trying to write an up temple honky Tonk
- 13:21Speaker 3: Stomper and I was like, hey, I'm a a cup
- 13:22Speaker 3: of coffee real quick. I came back upstairs and he's.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Going jing jing. I'm like, what is that?
- 13:28Speaker 3: You know, just as I do this pop my head
- 13:30Speaker 3: And that was like a thirty minute song too and
- 13:32Speaker 3: ended up being a pretty big hit. But yeah, that's
- 13:34Speaker 3: what just came out. I mean, you're right with Ashley
- 13:36Speaker 3: Gorley and Chase McGill and Ross Kopperman, things move moved
- 13:40Speaker 3: pretty quick.
- 13:41Speaker 2: And this guy's not how to write some song.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I don't have time to waste.
- 13:44Speaker 3: These guys are just it's the guys when I you know,
- 13:47Speaker 3: I don't write full time, right, I'm touring, I'm doing that.
- 13:50Speaker 2: It's kind of cyclical.
- 13:51Speaker 3: So when I get a chance to write these guys,
- 13:52Speaker 3: I always say, it's like it's like being like Hockey
- 13:56Speaker 3: and the Predators, like All Star Weekend. Right, this is
- 13:58Speaker 3: like All Star fantasy camp for a songwriter. You are
- 14:01Speaker 3: the best guys, right, Yeah, there's shapes, there's their skates
- 14:05Speaker 3: are really sharp, and I'm out there going trying to
- 14:07Speaker 3: like get on the ice for these guys.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And like like a baby, yeah, oh my gosh.
- 14:12Speaker 3: You like yeah, I'm like, let me stop, so now
- 14:16Speaker 3: let me get a word in hang on.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It's so fun writing with them.
- 14:19Speaker 3: There's there's so people that are really good at what
- 14:21Speaker 3: they do are just the confidence that they have leads
- 14:25Speaker 3: to just being very just down to earth and open
- 14:28Speaker 3: and kind.
- 14:28Speaker 2: It's just it's just such a good group. You know.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I love being around people that just love what they do.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Like you, They're just kind, funny, nice, happy, not competitive.
- 14:38Speaker 3: They just they have the confidence to not be that way, right,
- 14:41Speaker 3: and that's so it's a great group. And that's kind
- 14:43Speaker 3: of how the song writing the song was so fun
- 14:46Speaker 3: because it was just like no pressure, everyone's just you know,
- 14:49Speaker 3: it's just everyone's just throwing stuff out there and trying
- 14:51Speaker 3: to make each other laugh and I don't end up
- 14:54Speaker 3: being pretty good.
- 14:55Speaker 4: We're so excited for you can't wait.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Thanks, thanks for playing it.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Thanks brother,
