- 0:12Lord, we are desirous of a touch today.
- 0:17God, we want to feel your presence.
- 0:20Lord, by faith we acknowledge you are here in this room, and
- 0:26by faith we know that the train of your robe fills the temple,
- 0:32and we cry out holy, holy, holy. We cover our eyes, God, because
- 0:38you dwell in inapproachable light.
- 0:42God the Spirit and the Bride says, come.
- 0:46Lord, we worship you in spirit and truth.
- 0:50God, we stand on the truth today.
- 0:52We stand on Jesus Christ himself today.
- 0:56We plead the blood today. God, we speak a better word
- 1:00today over all of our emotions and circumstances.
- 1:04God protect our families. Lord, I pray that you will help
- 1:10us to come in. God, to the throne room to come
- 1:14in to the holiest of holy places.
- 1:17Father, we want to see you high and lifted up, exalted over
- 1:22every nation. God, you are the King of the
- 1:25universe. God, we love you.
- 1:29Jesus, we're asking you, Holy Spirit, to teach us the minds of
- 1:34Christ. Teach us the ways of our Lord
- 1:38Jesus Christ. Teach us, Father, and help us to
- 1:42see you, Father. Help us to know that you're
- 1:45near. Help us to know that you're
- 1:47fighting our battles and you are for us.
- 1:50Therefore, no one can be against us in Jesus Christ.
- 1:54We love you, Holy Spirit. Give us sound doctrine and
- 1:59theology. Help us to know that we are
- 2:02rightly dividing the word. Help us to know that you are
- 2:06well pleased. Father, be here with us.
- 2:10Show up and show off and do mighty things.
- 2:13God rescue those that are in the pit of despair.
- 2:17Do the same thing for them that you did for us.
- 2:20God, reveal your glory. Father, glory Hallelujah.
- 2:25We love you King Jesus, hide me and hide my words and hide my
- 2:30thoughts. I decrease as you increase.
- 2:34Jesus Christ. We are your disciples.
- 2:37You are our long-awaited Messiah.
- 2:40You are all powerful and all knowing and you are everywhere
- 2:44all at once Father. So we just bow down low in
- 2:48reverence. We lay prostate at your feet,
- 2:50Father, and give you all of our adoration.
- 2:56We give you all of our attention.
- 2:59We give you all of our affection.
- 3:02Help us to live sold out lives for you.
- 3:08Help us not to be distracted and help us to put our hand to the
- 3:11plow and help us to love you more.
- 3:14God, take us to new heights with you.
- 3:17Let us be seated with you in heavenly places.
- 3:21God, take us to new depths of your love and your mercy and
- 3:27your joy. Father, we love you, King Jesus,
- 3:32and it's in your holy and precious and powerful name that
- 3:36I pray. Amen.
- 3:38Let's start in verse one. And when they were escaped, then
- 3:44they knew that the island was called Malita, also known as
- 3:49Malta. And here they have been tossed
- 3:52to and fro by all the wind and the waves, and they have been
- 3:56driven onward by Gale force winds.
- 3:59They had been in a hurricane in Nor'easter, and the clouds were
- 4:04covering the stars and the sun, and they could not have any kind
- 4:08of recognition of where they were at.
- 4:11But little did they know that miraculously, God had planted
- 4:14them right on a port island where there was already another
- 4:19ship awaiting to take them to Rome.
- 4:22And God's provision and Providence will always come to
- 4:27fruition. And there is no lack in the
- 4:30Father's house. When one ship is wrecked, you're
- 4:34ushered on to another one that is ready and waiting for you.
- 4:39And we can see here that the Angel of the Lord had already
- 4:43told Paul that all the men would be safe.
- 4:46And here they are, 276 souls miraculously saved from the
- 4:52storm. And these locals at this time,
- 4:58I'm sure they were bewildered at this sight of these men who were
- 5:04coming in on the boards that were broken off of the ship.
- 5:08They were floating in and swimming to shore.
- 5:11And I'm sure that all of these men were weakened and they were
- 5:16all confused about where they were at and what they were
- 5:21looking at. And we see that these men, these
- 5:25Islanders, they showed great hospitality, verse 2.
- 5:30And the barbarous people showed us no little kindness, for they
- 5:34kindled a fire and received us everyone, because of the present
- 5:39rain and because of the cold. So you can see here these
- 5:43miserable, depressing situation that they find themselves in.
- 5:49And these locals here, they're coming and they are receiving
- 5:55them, every single one of them, letting them warm themselves by
- 5:59the fire. 3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and
- 6:04laid them on the fire, there came a Viper out of the heat and
- 6:07fastened on his hand. Look at the servant heart of
- 6:11Paul. Here he is just coming off of a
- 6:15shipwreck, being at sea and not being able to even know where
- 6:22they're at. And then he immediately gets to
- 6:26work and we can see that his heart is of a servant's heart.
- 6:32And that is how you know that someone is linked up with Jesus
- 6:36Christ. They're not they're not just
- 6:38sitting on their blessed assurance friends.
- 6:40They show their faith by their works.
- 6:45And we can also see here in verse three that even whenever
- 6:48you are in God's providential plan, bad things can happen to
- 6:53you. But we must shake off this
- 6:56Viper. For and when the barbarian saw
- 7:00the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among
- 7:04themselves, no doubt this man is a murderer, whom though he had
- 7:10escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffered him not to live.
- 7:14So here they had this false religion, this goddess of
- 7:18justice, and they thought that justice must be served, and that
- 7:22Paul had done something wrong. And we know from Paul's own
- 7:25words that he was a murderer and he had caused the early
- 7:30Christians to blasphemy. And we know that he had them
- 7:33locked up and thrown into prison.
- 7:35And he rightly deserved death like every single one of us.
- 7:39But because he belonged to the Lord Jesus Christ and he was
- 7:44covered in the blood of Jesus Christ, we can see here that
- 7:48this Viper has no claim on him. Death has no hold on him,
- 7:53friends, and that is our inheritance as well.
- 7:56You need to know that whenever the wily serpent comes against
- 8:00you, we just shake him off. In the name of the Lord Jesus
- 8:03Christ. We crush the head of the enemy,
- 8:06Friends, he has no claim. He has no hold on us.
- 8:10He is defanged. He has no venom.
- 8:13Friends, it's all a lie. Don't believe the lies that he
- 8:17tries to propagate to you. We claim the name of the Lord
- 8:22Jesus Christ high and above every single venomous snake
- 8:27coming against us. Praise God, Hallelujah.
- 8:31And they're thinking that Paul is about to die.
- 8:37Five. And he shook off the beast into
- 8:40the fire and felt no harm. That's our inheritance.
- 8:44Friends shake him off when he tries to latch on.
- 8:47Shake him off and remind him of his end.
- 8:51He is writhing and he knows that his time is short.
- 8:58And all we must do when he tries to remind us of our past is we
- 9:03remind him of his future, and he is going to be thrown into the
- 9:08lake of fire, never to return again.
- 9:11Friends 6 Howbeit, they looked when they he should have swollen
- 9:16and fallen down dead suddenly. But after they had looked a
- 9:21great while and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds
- 9:25and said he was a God. How preposterous is this?
- 9:32This is ridiculous. How men try to attribute to
- 9:41other men either condemnation because of something that they
- 9:47must have done to deserve that, or they exalt them to a place of
- 9:54a God which is blasphemous, friends.
- 9:58And This is why we cannot have the fear of man.
- 10:02This is why we must not try to value ourselves off of what
- 10:09others think about us. It will always lead to one side
- 10:15of the ditch or the other. And the devil doesn't care which
- 10:18side that we wreck on. We can wreck on the side of
- 10:23condemnation where we buy into all the lies of the enemy about
- 10:29our future, or we can wreck on the side of accepting worship
- 10:36and being eaten up by worms. But either way, we need to stiff
- 10:40arm what man thinks about us. And we need to be supremely
- 10:45preoccupied with what does God say about us.
- 10:49And it is written from Genesis to Revelation what God says
- 10:53about you. St. says that you are blood
- 10:56bought, born again, and you're going to bust heaven wide open
- 11:00and he is well pleased with you and none of your sins will ever
- 11:03be counted against you. And when we have that reality,
- 11:07we're will obey him because he says to us, there is nothing
- 11:12that you could ever do to make you to make me love you any
- 11:16less, and there is nothing that you could ever do to make me
- 11:20love you anymore. And when we come under the blood
- 11:24of Jesus Christ and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ, we are
- 11:28justified. And it is as if we have never
- 11:32sinned because God gives us his justification.
- 11:35He gives us Jesus's righteousness, friends, and we
- 11:40are innocent before God with the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 11:44And when we have that reality, it will cause us to obey.
- 11:52It will cause us to walk in the light because He's in the light.
- 11:56It will cause us to be holy because He is holy.
- 12:00Friends, shake off the devil and don't receive false worship, and
- 12:05don't buy into the condemnation. Anyone that is in Christ.
- 12:09There is no more condemnation for that man.
- 12:13Condemnation is from the evil. 1 Seven in the same quarters were
- 12:25possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was
- 12:29Publius, who received us and lodged us three days
- 12:34courteously. They went from a shipwreck, lost
- 12:39without hope, to Publius's house being received courteously and
- 12:45lodging there and having all of the delicacies that were
- 12:53available to them given to them. And isn't this just like the
- 12:58Lord? He takes us into the third world
- 13:02countries, the dirt huts, and He allows us to be content with
- 13:08little. And then God takes us into the
- 13:14most luxurious settings. And that is the way of the
- 13:17Christian. And we cannot turn our backs on
- 13:21those that have little, and we cannot also think that those
- 13:27that have much we should not keep company with.
- 13:31We need to know that the way of God is for all people, and he
- 13:34has people in every camp. There's Joseph of Arimathea, and
- 13:39then there's Lazarus, and there's the beggar there eating
- 13:44the crumbs under the table. And you need to know that God is
- 13:49in every single land, people, group, continent, and there is a
- 13:55representative from all tribe in the Kingdom of God.
- 13:59And we must not think of ourselves as better than those
- 14:04that have little or less than those that have much.
- 14:09With God there is a great equalizing, and we can see that
- 14:14He desires for us to take care of our brothers and sisters, and
- 14:20to take care of the widows and the orphans in their time of
- 14:23distress. And you can see that God's
- 14:25economy is not the economy of this world, Friends.
- 14:30Sometimes He allows us to have blessings so that we can bless
- 14:33others, and sometimes He allows us to experience the little so
- 14:43that we will be grateful for all that we have.
- 14:47Lord, don't give us too little that we might steal, and don't
- 14:50give us too much that we will forget about You.
- 14:54Give us just enough for this day.
- 14:56Give us Our Daily Bread. Father A.
- 15:01And it came to pass that the father of Publius lay sick of a
- 15:05fever and of a bloody flux, to whom Paul entered in and prayed
- 15:10and laid his hands on him and healed him.
- 15:12This is a miraculous healing of this fever, this flux that was
- 15:19probably from the Malta fever that is recorded, and it was
- 15:25from people who were drinking the goat's milk that had these
- 15:30microorganisms that gave them a sickness that lasted somewhere
- 15:36around four months. And this father of Publius is
- 15:40suffering from all of this dysentery and Paul comes in much
- 15:45like Jesus Christ whenever he healed Peter's mother-in-law.
- 15:50Here Paul comes in and he lays hands and he prays and the man
- 15:54is miraculously healed. Thank God Almighty for the
- 15:59miraculous. 9. So when this was done, others
- 16:07also which had diseases in the island came and were healed.
- 16:13So we know that Doctor Luke is on the scene here.
- 16:17And perhaps Doctor Luke was giving out very common sense
- 16:23remedies to all those showing up, telling them not to drink of
- 16:28this milk. But we can also see how God uses
- 16:33modern medicine and the miraculous in tandem.
- 16:38And sometimes God leaves us in our infirmities so that we can
- 16:41be a witness to the hospital staff.
- 16:45Sometimes he leaves us in our infirmity so that we can
- 16:48experience glory sooner than others.
- 16:54And we just need to know at the very end of the day that to live
- 16:59is Christ and to die is gain. And we need not fear death.
- 17:04We need not fear the chosen chariot that God uses to carry
- 17:11us home by and by friends now. And so when this was done,
- 17:18others also, which had diseases in the island, came and were
- 17:22healed. So it's all in tandem, Friends
- 17:2510, who also honored us with many honors.
- 17:29And when we had departed, they laded us with such things as
- 17:34were necessary. So they were heavy laden with
- 17:38everything that they could ever need for this journey.
- 17:42All of the things, the food, the nourishment, all of the water,
- 17:46all of the preparations. They had miraculously landed on
- 17:51a port island with a boat waiting for them on the other
- 17:55side. 11 And after three months we departed in a ship of
- 18:00Alexandria which had wintered in the Isle, whose sign was Castor
- 18:05Pollux. So we can see here God's
- 18:09Providence. God has already had a ship that
- 18:13had wintered there that He knew would take Paul on to Rome. 13
- 18:20And from there we fetched a compass and came to regime, And
- 18:23after one day the South wind blew, and we came the next day
- 18:27to Patuli 14, where we found brothers, and were desired to
- 18:33stay with them seven days, and so we went toward Rome.
- 18:37So here they were being not only strengthened in the physical by
- 18:43all the things that they were laden with for their journey,
- 18:50all the provisions that the people of Malta gave to them,
- 18:56but they were also strengthened in their spirit.
- 18:59This is just like God. God knows that we need the
- 19:04physical healings. He knows that we need the
- 19:08physical nourishment. He knows that our bodies need
- 19:13all of the nutrients. However, he also knows that that
- 19:18is the segue into the physical realm and that we need to be
- 19:25spiritually nourished much more than any of our physical
- 19:30nourishment. And that is what Jesus told his
- 19:33disciples when he was hanging out at the well with the
- 19:36Samaritan woman, speaking with her.
- 19:39And then they came back and said, Master, eat.
- 19:42And he says, I have food that you know nothing about.
- 19:45Our physical health is of utmost importance and it is over our
- 19:52physical health. The spiritual supersedes the
- 19:56physical friends. 15 And from there when the brothers heard of
- 20:04us, they came to meet us as far as Appi Forum and the Three
- 20:10Taverns, whom when Paul saw, he thanked God and took courage.
- 20:16These brothers came 40 something miles to meet him.
- 20:23They had come there and there was a great delegation, as if
- 20:28Paul was some kind of super important person.
- 20:34He had written them a letter when he was in Corinth and he
- 20:40was very popular and he was almost at a celebrity status
- 20:45with these brothers, enough so that they took the time to walk
- 20:5040 something miles to greet him. Friends.
- 20:54He had this delegation of royalty.
- 20:58As he's stepping off the ship, all of these people were there
- 21:03to greet him. What an amazing scene that we
- 21:06can see. 16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered
- 21:12the prisoners to the captain of the guard, but Paul was suffered
- 21:16to dwell by himself with the soldier that kept him.
- 21:20So we can see Paul arriving at Rome.
- 21:22We can see that this centurion would have been much relieved
- 21:28that all these shipwrecked, seasick prisoners were delivered
- 21:34safely. And Paul said it would be so
- 21:36because the Angel revealed it to him.
- 21:39And you can see here that God's at work and Paul has this circle
- 21:46of influence. They knew that it was out of
- 21:49envy that they handed Paul over and that he had done nothing
- 21:52wrong, nothing that was deserving of death.
- 21:56And doesn't that sound familiar? And when we're following hard
- 22:00after the Lord Jesus Christ, don't be surprised if our lives
- 22:05mirror and model the ministry of Jesus.
- 22:08He was despised and rejected. He was misunderstood and
- 22:13persecuted. And don't be surprised when you
- 22:16and I find ourselves in that same predicament.
- 22:20And here you can see that He was given the luxury of having his
- 22:24own space. With one caveat, he had to be
- 22:29kept under guard and there was a rotating guard of a soldier and
- 22:38they would come in and they would stay with him for six
- 22:45hours at a time and he always had a new soldier to share the
- 22:52gospel of Jesus Christ. We can see here that what the
- 22:55world would call a failure, God is using.
- 22:59And he used this time in Paul's life for him to write many of
- 23:03the letters that are in the Canon of Scripture that were in
- 23:07divinely inspired by the word of God, divinely inspired by the
- 23:12Holy Spirit. And you could see that God's
- 23:15ways are not our ways. And he had to sit Paul down to
- 23:20pen these letters. And we are eternally blessed by
- 23:24this time that Paul got here in Rome. 17 And it came to pass
- 23:31that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews
- 23:34together. And when they were come
- 23:36together, he said unto them, Men, brothers, though I have
- 23:43committed nothing against the people or customs of our
- 23:47fathers, yet I was delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the
- 23:51hands of the Romans. So you can see here that it was
- 23:54Paul's custom to go to the Jew 1st, and then to the Gentile.
- 23:59And you can see here that this is God's plan for the ages.
- 24:04And Jesus Christ talked about this when he gave the parable of
- 24:09the king and the banquet, when he invited the nobility and they
- 24:14refused him. And then he said, go out into
- 24:17the highways and the hedges. And you can see here that the
- 24:21Jews rejected their Messiah. And because of that rejection,
- 24:26you and I are coming in to eternity.
- 24:29We're coming in to salvation because of their disobedience.
- 24:33But God in full circle, he's going to call the Jews unto
- 24:38himself and they are going to, during the millennial reign of
- 24:42Jesus Christ, they are going to acknowledge that they murdered
- 24:46the Messiah and they're going to come to the saving knowledge of
- 24:50Jesus Christ as their Messiah, their long-awaited Messiah.
- 24:56And it is a beautiful plan. It is a divine mystery.
- 25:00And this calls for wisdom. 18 Who, when they had examined me,
- 25:09would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in
- 25:12me. He had not done anything worthy
- 25:15of imprisonment, much less execution. 19 But when the Jews
- 25:24spoke against it, I was constrained to appeal unto
- 25:27Caesar, not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
- 25:31So here he's saying that he was about to be taken against his
- 25:41own will back to Jerusalem, where they were going to ambush
- 25:46him and murder him and not give him a fair trial.
- 25:49So as a Roman citizen, he had the right to appeal to Caesar,
- 25:55and he was not speaking against them.
- 26:00He was not trying to break them down.
- 26:03He knew that all of this was a divine plan of God and that he
- 26:09had a first class ticket to Rome on Rome's budget that he did not
- 26:18even have to try to pay for himself.
- 26:20It was paid for by the government for him to do the
- 26:24Lord's work. And don't be surprised when that
- 26:27is the case in your life, friends.
- 26:29If it is God's will, it is His bill and we do not need to worry
- 26:35how we're going to pay for something that God has called us
- 26:37to. All we need to do is have the
- 26:40faith to take the next step. 24 this cause, therefore, have I
- 26:47called for you to see you and to speak with you, because that for
- 26:52the hope of Israel. I am bound with this chain.
- 26:56So he's saying that this hope of Israel is Jesus Christ, and that
- 27:03is why he is in chains, because he is preaching the good news of
- 27:07the Lord Jesus Christ, which is not worthy of death.
- 27:11There's no law against it. And he is showing them through
- 27:15the law and the prophets that all of the scriptures were
- 27:19fulfilled in Jesus Christ. And you can see here that is
- 27:23Paul's heart, and he wants to share this hope for Israel to
- 27:27the Jews in Rome. 21 And they said unto him, We neither
- 27:34received letters out of Judea concerning you, neither any of
- 27:39the brothers that came showed or spoke any harm of you.
- 27:44So the accusers back in Jerusalem didn't even think it
- 27:48was worthy of their time. They would have been completely
- 27:56embarrassing of their own selves to send some kind of delegation,
- 28:01some kind of letter, some kind of messenger to Rome to try and
- 28:10accuse Paul of something. And they knew that it was all
- 28:16out of envy. And so they left it all alone.
- 28:19And we can see here that these leading Jews in Rome have not
- 28:24even heard of any of the accusations that Paul is accused
- 28:30of. 22 But we desire to hear of you what you think.
- 28:34For as concerning this sect, we know that everywhere it is
- 28:39spoken against. So the fame of Jesus Christ has
- 28:44gone out into the whole known world, and the Jews of that time
- 28:50were speaking against the sect of the Nazarenes.
- 28:54And you can see here that this is what Paul is propagating.
- 28:58He is coming in and he is showing them the good news of
- 29:02the Lord Jesus Christ. And they had only heard
- 29:05negative. And so they were wanting to
- 29:08know. They were interested to know
- 29:10what Paul knew so that they can make a decision on their own. 23
- 29:17And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him
- 29:22into his lodging, to whom he expounded and testified the
- 29:27Kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of
- 29:32the law of Moses and out of the prophets.
- 29:36From morning till evening Paul was laying line upon line,
- 29:40precept upon precept. He was using sound doctrine, and
- 29:45he was reasoning with them. He was coming and showing them
- 29:52that Jesus is the fulfillment of all the law and the prophets,
- 29:57and he did it methodically, friends.
- 30:00And Paul was a very learned man from the sect of the Pharisees,
- 30:06and he was very stringent and he knew his Bible.
- 30:11And that is a call for you and for me.
- 30:14We should always be ready to give a reason for the hope that
- 30:19you and I possess. Friends, anytime someone asks us
- 30:23why we are so hopeful, we need to be able to tell them of the
- 30:27good news of the Lord Jesus Christ, that they can have all
- 30:30of their sins forgiven and they can be justified and they can be
- 30:36at one with God. Friends, we need to be able to
- 30:40accurately and articulately tell people of the good news of the
- 30:44Lord Jesus Christ and what He's done for us.
- 30:47Share your salvation story with someone today. 24 And some
- 30:56believe the things which were spoken, and some believe not,
- 31:00and that is the same for us today.
- 31:04God draws the line in the sand, and we must make a decision.
- 31:08And then there is no neutrality. You are either for him or you
- 31:12are against him. And thank God, when we do not
- 31:16blasphemy the Holy Spirit, and we actually allow God to draw us
- 31:22unto himself, and we actually come into the saving knowledge
- 31:29of the Lord Jesus Christ, praise God. 25 And when they had agreed
- 31:34not among themselves, they departed.
- 31:36After that Paul had spoken one word well spoke the Holy Ghost
- 31:44by Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers. 26 Saying, Go unto this
- 31:51people, and say, Hearing You shall hear, and shall not
- 31:56understand, seeing, you shall see and not perceived. 27 For
- 32:02the heart of this people is waxed gross, their ears are dull
- 32:06of hearing, and their eyes have they closed, lest they should
- 32:12see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand
- 32:16with their heart, and should be converted.
- 32:18And I should heal him. What a divine mystery of the
- 32:21Lord, how in a moment's notice He can rend the heavens, and
- 32:26every knee would bow, and every tongue would confess that Jesus
- 32:30is Lord. But He leaves us here in our
- 32:35free will state, so that we will choose Him, and when we do, we
- 32:41bring Him honor and glory. God could cause us
- 32:46instantaneously to worship Him. God could cause us
- 32:51instantaneously to see him, and we would try to hide ourselves
- 32:57because of the glory of God. And Isaiah captured that.
- 33:01And these Jews in Rome, the moment that Paul shared this
- 33:06with them, they were done. They were done listening.
- 33:13It was time to go. They were offended about what
- 33:17Paul said and it is so beautiful when we can point people back to
- 33:24Scripture. This supports Jesus as the
- 33:29Messiah. It is such a beautiful thing
- 33:32when we can see Jesus on every single page from Genesis to
- 33:38Malachi. We see Jesus Christ revealed
- 33:42friends in types and shadows, and that is what Paul has done
- 33:46here. He has showed the Jews that they
- 33:49have now received the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ, and
- 33:52they must make a decision. 29 And when he had said these
- 34:00words, the Jews departed and had great reasoning among
- 34:04themselves. So they were in dispute because
- 34:08some came to the saving knowledge and some refused it.
- 34:1530 And Paul dwelt 2 whole years in his own hired house, and
- 34:20received all that came in unto him.
- 34:24What an amazing time. For two years Paul was chained,
- 34:34but he had great freedom and God was leading many people to come
- 34:42and to learn. And he sat Paul down and he had
- 34:47Paul to pin down the epistles that we hold so high in regard.
- 34:55And he also had Paul there to give a reason for the hope that
- 35:00he possessed. And God increased his ministry
- 35:04in despite of his physical. Disablement to be able to move
- 35:17freely. God continued to grow that
- 35:20ministry exponentially. Friends, we'll end on 31
- 35:26preaching the Kingdom of God and teaching those things which
- 35:30concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence.
- 35:34No man forbidding him. Praise God.
- 35:37Hallelujah. We can see that there was no one
- 35:42who could dispute the teachings of Paul.
- 35:46Paul had been given divine counsel, and no one forbade him
- 35:52to be able to speak the name of Jesus Christ.
- 35:56And we could see here how we have been so incredibly blessed
- 36:03by these teachings of Paul and how God was supremely honored by
- 36:09Paul and he gave Paul the sound doctrine and theology that we
- 36:15hold and possess. How amazing is this hope?
- 36:21You've been blessed by this book of the Bible, the actions of the
- 36:291st century church. And God asks us a question, and
- 36:34he says, What will you do with the name of the Lord Jesus
- 36:39Christ, now that you have been given the divine wisdom and
- 36:46divine counsel, and you know the Gospels and you know what it is
- 36:51that we ought to do? How will you steward that
- 36:55blessing, friends? And we should bring many to
- 36:59repentance and preach the whole word to the whole world, holding
- 37:05nothing back, not taking anything out, friends, not
- 37:08trying to add anything to it. I hope you've been blessed by
- 37:13it. I know I sure have.
- 37:18I love you. I'm praying for you.
- 37:23We'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 37:25God bless you.
