- 0:00Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simo Show on w R.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Let's go to Danny and Queen's Danny,
- 0:10Speaker 2: how you doing more than Mark? Two points? First one
- 0:15Speaker 2: is why does the group of tatorial candidate New Jersey Cheryl?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Why does she refuse to use her real name of
- 0:21Speaker 2: Rebecca Cheryl?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Get to the second point that doesn't mean anything and
- 0:27Speaker 3: jajjob the Republican Party in New York that they would
- 0:30Speaker 3: have allowed this debacle to occur with Curtis Leever, why
- 0:33Speaker 3: can't they find a well, Curtis is a good candidate.
- 0:36Speaker 3: The problem with the Republican Party, and you're absolutely right,
- 0:39Speaker 3: is it's tiny, it's minuscule. Problem is if you're you know,
- 0:43Speaker 3: if you're a Democrat, they've got a massive party operation.
- 0:46Speaker 3: They supply you with everything, you know, a huge manpower staff.
- 0:49Speaker 4: They got. Most important thing is what they call the
- 0:51Speaker 4: ground game. Get everybody out to the vote, Knock on
- 0:53Speaker 4: doors election day, go pick up voters, bring them to
- 0:56Speaker 4: pull Democratic ground game is like sixty five thousand some people.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Republican Party they claim eight hundred. But you're absolutely right.
- 1:04Speaker 4: The Republican Party is a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny little
- 1:08Speaker 4: operation here in New York City Democratic Party. It's a
- 1:11Speaker 4: massive machine. Things would be different if we could fix that.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara, how you doing
- 1:18Speaker 4: so good?
- 1:19Speaker 5: I'm talking to you Chaw Vincent Mark. First, I got
- 1:22Speaker 5: a new member of the Golden Oldies, Phyllis. She called
- 1:25Speaker 5: in ninety two. She's been listening to you for years.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Here is why I call you that.
- 1:31Speaker 4: They have like a Golden Girls fan club. Half of
- 1:33Speaker 4: them are names.
- 1:34Speaker 5: I know, we we we love you, we love you.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Keep it look Mark. The other day, Vincent and I
- 1:41Speaker 5: were commiserating about the outcome of the olove in New
- 1:44Speaker 5: York City. If Mondani gets it now, we don't understand
- 1:50Speaker 5: why the bodega owners are backing him.
- 1:53Speaker 2: What's well, they're not.
- 1:54Speaker 4: They're not, they're not, they're not. No, that was just
- 1:57Speaker 4: the union boss and many of them have quit the
- 1:59Speaker 4: union over it. But good point, Mara, thanks for calling.
- 2:02Speaker 6: You.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Got to remember a lot of times when they say
- 2:04Speaker 4: the so and so union is back, it's the union president.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Because they candidate will offer from whatever, offer from all
- 2:10Speaker 4: kinds of things to back them. That happens a lot
- 2:12Speaker 4: of times with the union big at whatever automotive unit
- 2:17Speaker 4: back Obama. Meantime, all the workers are voting against them.
- 2:20Speaker 4: It's just the union boss in exchange for stuff, will
- 2:23Speaker 4: publicly back them. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 2:26Speaker 4: how you doing.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Good morning Mark. I'm doing very well, Thank you, Mark.
- 2:29Speaker 6: I read this Morning and Showbiz four one one Roger
- 2:32Speaker 6: Freeman's website that Gail King will not have her contract
- 2:36Speaker 6: renew due to sky Dance slash CBS. Now, can she
- 2:40Speaker 6: actually do a syndicated talk show? Does she have the talent?
- 2:43Speaker 4: She did that once years ago. She did that in
- 2:45Speaker 4: the nineties and it was a total bomb, complete disaster.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I remember she did it out from Hartford, Connecticut. But
- 2:51Speaker 4: it was the same you know people that do Oprah
- 2:53Speaker 4: her best friend. They syndicated disaster didn't last. Good, good question, Dave. Now,
- 2:59Speaker 4: the reason they're getting getting rid of Gail King, they're
- 3:02Speaker 4: just trying to figure out how to do it. She's
- 3:03Speaker 4: a nasty, nasty, vicious kind of They don't want a
- 3:06Speaker 4: lot of trouble. She's the kind of person that I'll
- 3:09Speaker 4: really go after him. So they're being very careful how
- 3:11Speaker 4: they get rid of her. The left wing of people
- 3:14Speaker 4: will tell you well, this is terrible. It's because she's liberal.
- 3:17Speaker 4: It's because she's in last place. It's the lowest rated,
- 3:20Speaker 4: the last place network morning show and television every single
- 3:23Speaker 4: day with her. So it's just a no brainer to
- 3:25Speaker 4: get rid of her. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 3:28Speaker 4: how you doing, good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 3:32Speaker 7: This mayoral race is going to really illustrate one of
- 3:36Speaker 7: the great Democrat con jobs in election history, I think,
- 3:39Speaker 7: because they put up two candidates, one not much different
- 3:42Speaker 7: than the other, so it's a sophie's choice, and the
- 3:45Speaker 7: result is going to also permanently work for a long
- 3:49Speaker 7: time kill the Republicans because they can all blame Curtis
- 3:54Speaker 7: for losing the race to Cuomo and it's gonna so
- 3:59Speaker 7: they mplished two things at once, and it's really very interesting.
- 4:02Speaker 7: And it's also going to be interesting watching Mam Donnie
- 4:05Speaker 7: in Islamic radical presiding over the next year's twenty fifth
- 4:09Speaker 7: anniversary of the nine to eleven.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Oh god, well, we don't know what's going to happen yet.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. But a good point, Mike,
- 4:17Speaker 4: don't blame Curtis or anything you want to blame somebody.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Blame Cuomo. He was so bad in the primary. He
- 4:23Speaker 4: ran in the Democratic primary against Mam Donnie. Cuomo was
- 4:26Speaker 4: so weak in the debates. He got beaten to a
- 4:29Speaker 4: pulp in both debates. I don't know what he was
- 4:30Speaker 4: doing as far as campaigning. He was like a zombie, slow,
- 4:35Speaker 4: doing nothing. He should have stopped this, should have been
- 4:38Speaker 4: stopped in the primary. Blame Cuomo for it being a
- 4:41Speaker 4: total disaster in the primary. That's how ma'm donnie got
- 4:45Speaker 4: the Democratic No nomination, and that's the dangerous part. One more,
- 4:48Speaker 4: Let's go to Mike and Long Island. Mike, what do
- 4:50Speaker 4: you want to say?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Hey, Mark, good morning morning. You've mentioned many times that
- 4:54Speaker 1: the governor can remove a mayor. My question is, if
- 4:58Speaker 1: mam Donni wins and Stefani becomes governor, does she need
- 5:02Speaker 1: just cause to remove him?
- 5:03Speaker 4: What's the process she can remove No, fine, you just
- 5:07Speaker 4: find something that can remove him. I think the last
- 5:09Speaker 4: time it happened was Fdr Franklin dolno ro'sult removed Jimmy Walker,
- 5:15Speaker 4: who was the mayor of New York. In that case,
- 5:17Speaker 4: they accused him of corruption. Then they go after you,
- 5:20Speaker 4: and then he removed him. Actually, in that case, I
- 5:23Speaker 4: think Walker fled before getting removed. But it can be done.
- 5:27Speaker 4: The problem is Jkal won't do it. She's terrified of
- 5:30Speaker 4: the left primary in her She's got a run for
- 5:34Speaker 4: re election next year, so she's terrified of the left
- 5:37Speaker 4: wing of the party, so she won't have the guts
- 5:40Speaker 4: to do it. But again, if Stephanic gets elected, and
- 5:42Speaker 4: if Mom Donnie were to become mayor, that would be
- 5:45Speaker 4: the whole theme of the gubernatorial election. Who vows to
- 5:50Speaker 4: remove Mom Donnie? And half the votes for governor come
- 5:53Speaker 4: from New York, so it'd be a big, big issue. Hey,
- 5:55Speaker 4: Michael Goodwin, not with us this week, but we'll get
- 5:59Speaker 4: to well, how we carr? We'll fill in. We'll talk
- 6:01Speaker 4: to how we car next on seven ten w o R.
