- 1:09Speaker 3: Buy You Automotive. Easy is the word I would use
- 1:12Speaker 3: for them, because when you purchase with them, well everything
- 1:15Speaker 3: is easy.
- 1:16Speaker 4: You can do it online. They're going to bring the
- 1:17Speaker 4: vehicle to you.
- 1:18Speaker 3: If you buy from them and you need maintenance, they're
- 1:21Speaker 3: going to pick up your vehicle for you, give you
- 1:23Speaker 3: something to drive in the meantime. And there's so much
- 1:26Speaker 3: to choose from. You go to the website Buy you
- 1:29Speaker 3: Automotive dot Com and it's right there. I mean, you
- 1:32Speaker 3: can select the body style, you can customize your vehicle.
- 1:36Speaker 3: A lot of different options because we're talking Chrysler, Dodge, Ford,
- 1:39Speaker 3: Jeep and Ram, so many different options for you.
- 1:42Speaker 4: And remember, yeah they're in Laplos.
- 1:44Speaker 3: If you want to go see them, that's great, Like
- 1:45Speaker 3: they would love to come, you know, say hello to

- 1:50Speaker 3: have to. Eighty percent of their businesses within you know

- 1:57Speaker 3: We're talking about everywhere in between. Right, they will bring
- 2:00Speaker 3: that car to you. It's one of the great services
- 2:02Speaker 3: they have. Buy you automotive dot Com.
- 2:07Speaker 5: All right.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Brian Kelly, old LSU head coach. He was on with
- 2:12Speaker 3: my guys Dusty and Danny in the morning over on
- 2:14Speaker 3: Serious six in College sports Radio Channel eighty four, and
- 2:17Speaker 3: he sat down for I think it was like an
- 2:19Speaker 3: hour or two. So I think it's kind of like
- 2:21Speaker 3: that deal like Jimbo Fisher had with me and e
- 2:24Speaker 3: J where it's like he's on the show, but as
- 2:26Speaker 3: a guest, like he's a part of the show.
- 2:28Speaker 4: And so he said a lot, had a lot of
- 2:29Speaker 4: things to say.
- 2:31Speaker 3: He talked about his time at Lshue, talked about Lshue's
- 2:34Speaker 3: roster and the forty million.
- 2:35Speaker 4: And you know it could be over.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, well resources weren't the reason y'all lost,
- 2:40Speaker 3: So let's hill out with that. But I also mentioned
- 2:43Speaker 3: that he's going to be visiting teams this spring during
- 2:46Speaker 3: spring practice.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Look forward to that.
- 2:50Speaker 3: He's gonna stay involved around the game because he does
- 2:53Speaker 3: want to return to coaching, which, as we all know,
- 2:55Speaker 3: that would help LSU because the buyout number would change
- 2:58Speaker 3: a little bit. Uh So, Yeah, Brian Kelly had a
- 3:01Speaker 3: lot to say. Seems like he's going to be coaching.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I don't know where he's going to go this spring.
- 3:05Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I know his friend Pollon is now the head coach
- 3:09Speaker 3: of John Carroll, where our guy, mister Montgomery came from
- 3:12Speaker 3: receiver this year, so I'm sure he's going to go there,
- 3:15Speaker 3: But I don't know where he's going to go.
- 3:16Speaker 4: But so he's going to go kind of tour some
- 3:18Speaker 4: spring practices.
- 3:19Speaker 3: I don't really know for what purpose, but he does
- 3:21Speaker 3: want to get involved back in the game sooner rather
- 3:24Speaker 3: than later.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Good good for him. I mean I would assume that
- 3:27Speaker 6: he would. He's been doing He's been coaching football for
- 3:30Speaker 6: a very long time. It's hard to just cut that off,
- 3:32Speaker 6: especially when you're you don't want to finish when you're
- 3:36Speaker 6: by getting fired. So I'm assuming that he certainly wants
- 3:39Speaker 6: to jump back in. So I mean, I like, my
- 3:42Speaker 6: only gripe with Brian Kelly is what happened on the
- 3:45Speaker 6: football field for the LSU Tigers. I got nothing else
- 3:48Speaker 6: to gripe about him. I think he's I think he
- 3:50Speaker 6: does well when he speaks. I think every everything he says,
- 3:52Speaker 6: I've always just thought, like, all right, what he says
- 3:54Speaker 6: makes sense. He can he forms his statements, his conversation,
- 3:59Speaker 6: says his quotes, he forms those very well, and everything
- 4:03Speaker 6: kind of makes sense. And I know he was good
- 4:04Speaker 6: to LSU media folks as well. So it's like, I
- 4:08Speaker 6: don't wish him anything bad. I mean, we can joke
- 4:11Speaker 6: about it, and I can make jokes like, yeah, I'm
- 4:13Speaker 6: sure there's teams that are really looking forward to him
- 4:15Speaker 6: coming in the spring whatever, But I don't really care,
- 4:19Speaker 6: like he's go be a coach, doesn't.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Yeah, the only part that the part that we care
- 4:25Speaker 3: about is the buyout situation would be just for that number,
- 4:28Speaker 3: Like if you're talking about dollars and cents of it.
- 4:31Speaker 3: His quote on Dusty and Danny in the morning was fault,
- 4:35Speaker 3: I've got four Well.
- 4:37Speaker 5: He didn't draw off the contract, just signed it.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Just didn't do the things that they wanted you to
- 4:42Speaker 3: do in the contract. But I hear what you're saying.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I said, Look, I've got four former assistant coaches that
- 4:46Speaker 3: are headed head football coaches in the National Football League.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I've got four power four assistant coaches that were close
- 4:52Speaker 3: to I want to get around and see their programs,
- 4:55Speaker 3: see how they're doing, get a sense of where I
- 4:57Speaker 3: can grow and I can be better. And so that's
- 5:00Speaker 3: really my focus right now. And then in the right situation,
- 5:04Speaker 3: if it does come up and I'm ready, I'm certainly
- 5:06Speaker 3: going to entertain that, which again LSU would welcome that
- 5:10Speaker 3: the school is on the hook to pay Kelly more
- 5:12Speaker 3: than eight hundred thousand dollars every month through twenty thirty one,
- 5:18Speaker 3: every month eight hundred thousand dollars. And Hunt did a
- 5:21Speaker 3: great job putting a story up on louisianasports dot Net.
- 5:24Speaker 4: You can check that out there.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Will Brian Kelly coach college football as a head coach
- 5:31Speaker 3: in the next two seasons. So this season, no so
- 5:38Speaker 3: it really gives you the next season. Jimbo never got
- 5:44Speaker 3: an offer. Let's remember that. So Jimbo Fisher is somebody
- 5:47Speaker 3: that we're both very close with. Resume was different because
- 5:51Speaker 3: he won a national championship. Jimbo gets bought out from
- 5:56Speaker 3: Texas A and M, and he's attached to that buyout.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Did you not get an offer from like smaller school?
- 6:02Speaker 3: No, right from what I understand, that has not been there.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I know there's been some interest from schools, but this
- 6:10Speaker 3: last cycle where a lot of coaches were getting another opportunity.
- 6:14Speaker 3: His resume is much better than James Franklin. Make no
- 6:17Speaker 3: mistake about it. He did not get a call.
- 6:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I just wonder if like you get it you
- 6:26Speaker 6: get at those buyouts. I wonder if Jimbo when he
- 6:31Speaker 6: was immediately done, like put the word out like if
- 6:34Speaker 6: you're not a contender, I don't want to hear from you.
- 6:38Speaker 6: And then you know, time goes by, everybody becomes more
- 6:42Speaker 6: more unattractive as the years go by without without being
- 6:46Speaker 6: involved in This's kind of like a player. You can't
- 6:48Speaker 6: like stop playing then just decide you're going to come
- 6:50Speaker 6: back three or four years later.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Game kind of passes you by.
- 6:54Speaker 6: I'm not saying that is the case with him, but
- 6:56Speaker 6: I just wonder, like Chimba didn't seem like a guy
- 6:58Speaker 6: that he was going to go take the new Mexico
- 7:02Speaker 6: State job. This guy's not either to that point, he's
- 7:07Speaker 6: not going not getting a top job. No, he's not
- 7:09Speaker 6: going to Fresno State.
- 7:10Speaker 3: No, So there's a likelihood if he's not willing to
- 7:17Speaker 3: do that, then he's not getting a job. Now, his
- 7:22Speaker 3: roots are different than Jimbo's because Jimbo was the offensive
- 7:26Speaker 3: coordinator at some high profile places and then he goes
- 7:30Speaker 3: to Florida State with the understanding he's going to be
- 7:33Speaker 3: the next head coach whenever coach Bowden retired, and he
- 7:35Speaker 3: was his first coaching job was Florida State, like his
- 7:39Speaker 3: first head coaching. Then he gets Texas A and M
- 7:42Speaker 3: like for Brian Kelly. He's been at Central Michigan, he's
- 7:44Speaker 3: been at Cincinnati, He's been at much smaller schools than.
- 7:46Speaker 4: That, And of course then he goes to Notre Dame
- 7:48Speaker 4: in LSU.
- 7:49Speaker 3: So maybe maybe because he's like, look I've been there before,
- 7:52Speaker 3: I've done that, actually was having fun coaching, So maybe
- 7:55Speaker 3: he would, but I don't think he's going to go
- 7:57Speaker 3: back to the MAC. I don't think a MAX school
- 8:00Speaker 3: could afford what he would be asking for.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Hmmm, I don't know.
- 8:06Speaker 6: I mean, I guess he's just I'm sure he's got
- 8:08Speaker 6: a lot of a lot of allies out there that
- 8:10Speaker 6: are that are head coaches and a lot of I mean,
- 8:12Speaker 6: he's been coaching a long time, so he's got a
- 8:14Speaker 6: lot of His inner circle is probably pretty big full
- 8:19Speaker 6: of coaches. So it's kind of like coach O going
- 8:20Speaker 6: to different camps and different prices and stuff. I'm sure
- 8:24Speaker 6: he'll have as much access as he wants to a
- 8:26Speaker 6: lot of programs that can stay around the game and
- 8:29Speaker 6: get ready for it. So I would assume he would
- 8:33Speaker 6: coach again now in the next two years. I don't
- 8:35Speaker 6: know how big the program is going to be. The
- 8:36Speaker 6: more years you're out. I'm sure Jimbo now will take
- 8:38Speaker 6: a job, would take a job that he wouldn't have
- 8:41Speaker 6: three years ago, or two years ago, whenever, whenever he
- 8:44Speaker 6: was done right. Every year that goes by, absence makes
- 8:47Speaker 6: the heart grow fonder.
- 8:48Speaker 4: That's what they say, a laundry.
- 8:51Speaker 5: I get that saying, right, yeah he did.
- 8:54Speaker 4: That's why.
- 9:00Speaker 7: You don't applyd of fish for swimming.
- 9:02Speaker 6: No, well, if a fish never swims correctly before, then
- 9:07Speaker 6: he does.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Give him a little clap credit to myself on that one.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Guys, you were saying that he's gonna take credit.
- 9:18Speaker 8: I always thought that, like he got so much money
- 9:20Speaker 8: and he's so like Brian Kelly just seems like somebody
- 9:24Speaker 8: that doesn't really he never gave football coach to me.
- 9:27Speaker 7: I don't know what it is about him.
- 9:29Speaker 8: I know he's been a head coach for the longest time,
- 9:31Speaker 8: winning his coach a Notre Dame or whatever, but he
- 9:34Speaker 8: just never felt like a coach to me.
- 9:36Speaker 7: So I always thought.
- 9:38Speaker 8: That he was gonna take his money and sail off
- 9:40Speaker 8: into the sunset.
- 9:41Speaker 7: But I don't know.
- 9:43Speaker 9: Yeah, if he wants the coach, like you were talking
- 9:45Speaker 9: about it, he's not gonna take a mac job. Could
- 9:47Speaker 9: he take something like, you know, a bottom toier Big
- 9:48Speaker 9: ten school like a Purdue or something like that, Like
- 9:51Speaker 9: if they came calling and I get like the buyout,
- 9:54Speaker 9: but also on the flip side of it, like if
- 9:56Speaker 9: you do it right, you could get him for cheap
- 9:58Speaker 9: because lsu' is still gonna have to pay the rest
- 10:00Speaker 9: of it. So like it really depends on on that.
- 10:03Speaker 9: But I mean, yeah, like a Purdue, like, you know,
- 10:05Speaker 9: if Illinois ever made a change, if Illinois has been good,
- 10:09Speaker 9: Burt's good, Burt's been great, But.
- 10:12Speaker 4: To win there if he.
- 10:14Speaker 9: Or something like that, like a school like that, yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 9: why not Purdue or if you're in the.
- 10:20Speaker 7: Someone who doesn't care about winning much.
- 10:21Speaker 9: Yea, even even a Michigan State there's falling off. So
- 10:24Speaker 9: like Michigan State's like, hey, Bka, we're going to masconsin
- 10:31Speaker 9: right Pickle hadn't worked out and there, like, hey, Brian,
- 10:34Speaker 9: can you bring us back to respectability? Be kind of
- 10:36Speaker 9: that bridge guy.
- 10:37Speaker 4: You're at the end of Better Run Wisconsin though the
- 10:40Speaker 4: play that.
- 10:41Speaker 7: Brian Kelly and respectability goes you.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Better run Power It was kind of you could get it,
- 10:45Speaker 4: try to go dairy raid and it.
- 10:48Speaker 9: Just didn't work out. I mean they're their whole persona.
- 10:51Speaker 9: That's like I would try to run a hurry up
- 10:53Speaker 9: offense like it's just not gonna happen. But yeah, I
- 10:56Speaker 9: mean like a Wisconsin like, hey, Brian, can you get
- 10:58Speaker 9: us to eight and four? You know you were tire
- 11:00Speaker 9: and build us out, help us, you know, get out
- 11:02Speaker 9: of the cellar because they've been awful. There's something like that.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I like the Wisconsin I might like what he's gone.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Guys like, we don't have to.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Hate on him anymore, but I can't want I mean, no,
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I mean he's so easy.
- 11:25Speaker 4: It's not hating for sure. And look, he was good
- 11:27Speaker 4: to me.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I want to get that out there, like when I
- 11:29Speaker 3: at the Senior Bowl, he would always make time for us.
- 11:32Speaker 4: That that that's not this conversation.
- 11:33Speaker 3: But I'm kind of I'm using Jimbo as an example
- 11:36Speaker 3: one because I talk with Jimbo often and it's very
- 11:39Speaker 3: similar in the fact that they have these big buyouts
- 11:41Speaker 3: that they're attached to, their names attached to these buyouts,
- 11:45Speaker 3: and if you ask, they'll say, that's a large reason
- 11:48Speaker 3: why I haven't gotten another opportunity.
- 11:50Speaker 4: You get this stigma because it's.
- 11:52Speaker 5: But it's not like you contract.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You have this stigma every time Jimbo's name is brought up.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Now it's no longer national champion of winning head coach.
- 12:01Speaker 3: It's what seventy whatever million dollars.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Record by I guess what. You gotta kind of not
- 12:07Speaker 6: agree with it, but you got to unpack. Like to me,
- 12:10Speaker 6: you got to unpack, Like, why is there a stigma
- 12:12Speaker 6: to that is because there's so much money involved that
- 12:14Speaker 6: they might not like care as much as a younger
- 12:18Speaker 6: coach that's like grinding to make his and make his
- 12:20Speaker 6: first big patriot. Like, I don't know what, why is
- 12:23Speaker 6: there a stigma involved?
- 12:25Speaker 4: It just is because you got paid a lot of
- 12:27Speaker 4: money and you failed.
- 12:30Speaker 5: I would put the stigma more on the agents than
- 12:32Speaker 5: the coach.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I'm with you, But again their fault, right, that's going
- 12:36Speaker 3: to be attached to those guys, just like we're talking
- 12:38Speaker 3: about with talking about Loa, right, the dead cap hit
- 12:41Speaker 3: that he's going to call him Miami Dolphins, right, he
- 12:43Speaker 3: didn't put any of his contract.
- 12:44Speaker 7: They wanted him gone.
- 12:46Speaker 3: But yeah, but that's what we're going to talk about,
- 12:48Speaker 3: Like when we talked to it, that's going to be
- 12:49Speaker 3: what we talk about, no matter a great year.
- 12:52Speaker 6: And it wasn't Brian Kelly in the room negotiating with
- 12:54Speaker 6: the LSU official, I'm with you, it was this agent, right,
- 12:57Speaker 6: and his agent brings him something. It's like, hey, they're
- 12:59Speaker 6: gonna pay all this money to go co coach them,
- 13:01Speaker 6: and he's like, all right, cool, let me just sign
- 13:03Speaker 6: that thing and then get all that money.
- 13:05Speaker 7: It's not like, oh, I didn't know you were a
- 13:08Speaker 7: Brian Kelly apologist.
- 13:10Speaker 5: I'm not, but I just want to be fair.
- 13:13Speaker 9: If I get a get a ten year deal with
- 13:14Speaker 9: a larger buyle.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Yeah I'm signing that thing. Yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I never thought that it would come to that either though, right, Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 3: there was no chance.
- 13:25Speaker 4: That he thought it would be a four, three and
- 13:27Speaker 4: a half year deal.
- 13:28Speaker 9: Because like, yeah, he underachieved here, but before he got here,
- 13:32Speaker 9: like he was successful at every stop along the way,
- 13:34Speaker 9: he probably thought, Hey, with the resources here at LSU,
- 13:36Speaker 9: I'm gonna win. And that's what everybody says. Was the
- 13:39Speaker 9: work ethic there? Did you think you were just going
- 13:40Speaker 9: to walk into a national championship? And maybe that wasn't.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah, No, that that that the things that you have
- 13:46Speaker 3: to do, certainly on one side of the football were
- 13:50Speaker 3: not done.
- 13:51Speaker 6: You just weren't. Guys, it wasn't the entire fluck thing.
- 13:55Speaker 6: I'm glad that he's on our head coach anymore. Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 6: got it. We still have to hate on this future.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Let's let's call it what it is.
- 14:02Speaker 5: I'm not the big the biggest day.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I'm just telling you, I know somebody personally that, unfortunately
- 14:09Speaker 3: is a hell of a football coach that's not getting
- 14:11Speaker 3: the opportunity because right, wrong or indifferent, whoever put the
- 14:16Speaker 3: deal together that's fine, is not getting an opportunity because
- 14:19Speaker 3: he is attached to the largest.
- 14:22Speaker 9: He is as a better he has a better resume
- 14:24Speaker 9: than bek he does, and I know James Franklin's younger
- 14:26Speaker 9: than both of them. I think Fisher and Kelly got
- 14:28Speaker 9: better resumes then Kelly's at least played for a national
- 14:31Speaker 9: title with the hell James Franklin ever done.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Right, I'm with you, y'all.
- 14:34Speaker 6: Actually think it's the buyout that gives a stigma, like
- 14:36Speaker 6: Jimbo's stigma when he got done. He couldn't he couldn't
- 14:39Speaker 6: adapt to new football, like he was still running some
- 14:41Speaker 6: of the same philosophies he did when we were in school.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Like that was the knock on him.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Brian Kelly, he brought him by Petrino, he brought in
- 14:48Speaker 4: all these people.
- 14:49Speaker 6: Yeah, but do you think I'm just wondering what the
- 14:51Speaker 6: actual stigma is they gets put on it or is
- 14:54Speaker 6: it the reason why they get fired, Like you get
- 14:57Speaker 6: fired with all that buyout money, you're doing something.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Jimbo at a and m was forty five and twenty five.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Again to second bring that up.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I bring that up just because it's not they fell
- 15:11Speaker 3: off a cliff. Now, they had expectations, they didn't meet those,
- 15:14Speaker 3: but that's not a record bad enough to not be
- 15:17Speaker 3: in the game anymore. Right, You know what I'm telling
- 15:19Speaker 3: you is that the buyout and people are like, we're
- 15:22Speaker 3: not touching that.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Are you doing that?
- 15:25Speaker 6: Let's go back to what we learned during the week
- 15:29Speaker 6: of the combine. The second day of training camp for
- 15:34Speaker 6: LSU football is the only reason Brian Kelly is not
- 15:37Speaker 6: your current head coach. When Garrett Nesmyer got hurt second
- 15:42Speaker 6: day of training camp. If Garrettsmar plays this last year
- 15:46Speaker 6: fully healthy, Brian Kelly is still the coach for LSU.
- 15:50Speaker 6: And that it's hard to say that that's a fact,
- 15:53Speaker 6: but I'm ninety nine point nine percent confident that that's
- 15:56Speaker 6: the case. So quarterback gets hurt, he gets fired, and
- 16:02Speaker 6: we're in a better spot.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Going forward.
- 16:06Speaker 6: But just because to everybody else's point, because of that contract,
- 16:10Speaker 6: he would still be the coach if your quarterback didn't
- 16:12Speaker 6: get hurt second day, second day of training camp.
- 16:16Speaker 5: Because of a contract.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Yeah, even with the bad scheme. I mean, I hear
- 16:22Speaker 4: what you're saying.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Even with the scheme that was not great, had a
- 16:27Speaker 3: ton of questions that didn't have answers. You probably I
- 16:33Speaker 3: don't want to say luck, but you probably find your
- 16:35Speaker 3: way to two more victories.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 16:41Speaker 6: I mean you're close to getting two more victories with
- 16:43Speaker 6: the hurt quarterback, with a terrible scheme. So like, do
- 16:47Speaker 6: you find your way to three more victory?
- 16:48Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 16:50Speaker 6: I would you find a way to at least two more?
- 16:52Speaker 6: I like, Garrett's a really good quarterback. He's about to
- 16:55Speaker 6: get be the third or fourth quarterback taken in the
- 16:57Speaker 6: draft with playing like that because he was so good
- 17:02Speaker 6: before that. That's what they think of him. At the
- 17:05Speaker 6: pro level. You can't throw with abs, you got a problem.
- 17:10Speaker 6: So I like, even with the bad scheme, and maybe
- 17:12Speaker 6: the injury is why there was a lot of bad scheme.
- 17:13Speaker 4: You gotta well, I don't. I don't know about that.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Not one hundred percent, but at least some percentage.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Because your AB hurting doesn't make you not run.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Power Okay, well yeah, that part.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Running screens that have no blockers isn't because your AV hurts.
- 17:25Speaker 4: But I hear you. There's things that he couldn't do
- 17:28Speaker 4: that he could the year before.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I do get that you're puting the power. You're right,
- 17:31Speaker 5: Frank Kelly's the worst.
- 17:33Speaker 3: That what I'm asking you to say. I told you,
- 17:38Speaker 3: I told you he was good. He was very good
- 17:40Speaker 3: to me, and I appreciate the time he always gave me.
- 17:42Speaker 3: I don't know why I'm not attacking the man like
- 17:47Speaker 3: very defensive. Let me tell you real quick. Okay, So
- 17:51Speaker 3: at the combine, you know me, So have my laptop up.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I'm watching film of all the guys they are about
- 17:55Speaker 3: to come on and whatever. And we're watching aj halse tape,
- 17:58Speaker 3: me and my co host and another guy that's on
- 18:01Speaker 3: the NFL radio channel that played for a long time.
- 18:04Speaker 4: So I'm like, hey, y'all, come watch this play of
- 18:05Speaker 4: a J. Halseon.
- 18:06Speaker 3: So we played it so like you know, we're getting
- 18:07Speaker 3: a conversation, like seven eight plays a kind of gone
- 18:09Speaker 3: by or whatever, and so like we all kind of
- 18:11Speaker 3: stopped talking and then we like kind of turn our
- 18:13Speaker 3: attention back to the tape. This is Vanderbilt game, and
- 18:16Speaker 3: the guy that played a long time in the NFL,
- 18:18Speaker 3: he goes run that back.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I was like, what.
- 18:19Speaker 4: He goes, What in the hill were they trying to
- 18:22Speaker 4: get done here?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not good.
- 18:24Speaker 3: And it was one of the many mini screens. He goes,
- 18:27Speaker 3: that's a real play. I said, Oh, buddy, it's a
- 18:28Speaker 3: real football play, dying. I said, I got seventeen more
- 18:32Speaker 3: waiting for you.
- 18:33Speaker 5: It wasn't missed a Simon either, No, just a bad
- 18:36Speaker 5: he said.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Was So that's a real ball play.
- 18:38Speaker 5: That's real ball play. We got a lot of them too.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Yeah, my guy, it's a real ball play.
- 18:42Speaker 6: And then if y'all want to say, I'm like going
- 18:43Speaker 6: hard in the pain for Brian Kelly, because I said,
- 18:45Speaker 6: if Nessmiyer's not heard, he's still a coach.
- 18:47Speaker 5: Just just what it is. That doesn't make it right,
- 18:50Speaker 5: just what it would what it would have been.
- 18:53Speaker 7: Just dude's got stuck in, Brian Kelly.
- 18:55Speaker 4: He's got you have a card, You have a card.
- 18:58Speaker 4: You have a trading card, Brian Kelly.
- 19:01Speaker 9: If they had coaches, trading guards, they are the turnover
- 19:06Speaker 9: all those things has gotta be like I.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Got a Mike Babel.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Wow.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Just because I say Commis sense things about Lane earlier,
- 19:12Speaker 6: it means I hate him. Just becauna say Commis sense
- 19:14Speaker 6: things about Brian means I love them.
- 19:15Speaker 5: What is happening right now?
- 19:16Speaker 4: Why don't Why nobody's attacking you? Why are you being
- 19:19Speaker 4: so defensive? I was talking about the scheme, y'ah.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Literally just attacked me about my love y'all.
- 19:28Speaker 8: I mean, if you want to love Brian Kelly, that's
- 19:30Speaker 8: on you. But like I'm just saying, you're going kind
- 19:32Speaker 8: of hard.
- 19:33Speaker 4: You're about to get a sensitification.
- 19:36Speaker 5: I crushed Brian Kelly, by the way, on the show.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Play the tape, I do got Okay, No, that's not fair.
- 19:46Speaker 5: I'll beat him with golf too. And did you I
- 19:49Speaker 5: watched this draft with that ass.
- 19:52Speaker 4: All right. I did not have that segment going nineteen minutes.
- 19:56Speaker 4: I did not have it going it that way.
- 19:58Speaker 7: But minutes on Brian Kelly.
- 19:59Speaker 4: You know, good dialogue.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I'll be all right, we'll take a break more OTB
- 20:04Speaker 3: when we come back here live from the Raising Gates Studio.

- 22:56Speaker 8: this guy said the amount of BK love on this
- 22:58Speaker 8: show disgusts me.
- 23:01Speaker 4: It ain't this show. It's one side of this show.
- 23:04Speaker 7: That's the only b K Truther around here. Truther, he
- 23:07Speaker 7: said himself, bring b K back Burger King. You don't
- 23:12Speaker 7: even like burger King. You can't use that a case.
- 23:14Speaker 5: You can't.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Don't jump Matthew just because you're not on the lane
- 23:18Speaker 3: train with the rest of us.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Don't be weird. I am on the lane train.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Nope, you said it, dude, what you said there in
- 23:24Speaker 3: the break what that you were team BK.
- 23:30Speaker 7: He was like, we made a huge mistake hiring Lane Kiffin.
- 23:35Speaker 9: Guy be caching coach at twenty twenty six.
- 23:38Speaker 6: I just said last segment that Smier nearly ruining his
- 23:42Speaker 6: entire football career was probably the best thing to happen.
- 23:44Speaker 5: It was your football.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I didn't hear you say that.
- 23:49Speaker 9: Now now we got him, Yah.
- 23:51Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I'm never I'm not gonna stop driving that bus. Everybody gone, good,
- 23:59Speaker 5: great man.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Just imagine if you didn't have a unicornant.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Quarterback for those two years anyways.
- 24:09Speaker 7: Just imagine that's how good Jade and Daniels was.
- 24:11Speaker 9: By the way, so many people we were we were
- 24:13Speaker 9: talking about it halfway through the year when we could
- 24:16Speaker 9: run the ball.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Everybody's like, oh, you were able to run.
- 24:18Speaker 9: No no, no, no, no no no. Jayden and Daniels take it
- 24:19Speaker 9: off and scrambling, doesn't Kid, that's not a running game. Yeah,
- 24:22Speaker 9: traditional running game. Kelly never did it.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Running backs had We're not set up for success four
- 24:31Speaker 3: years go, y has some diversity in your run game.
- 24:35Speaker 3: My god, it's pathetic. I hate it watching it.
- 24:40Speaker 7: That's when you should have de I in your football program.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Golee, Hey, we got it. It helped the go to practice.
- 24:48Speaker 6: Film review people people like to see what's happening with
- 24:55Speaker 6: I'm just doing the film breakdowns a baseball film.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Ooh, we should We're gonna run inside zone again. They're
- 25:02Speaker 3: never gonna believe it. But a quarterback that can't pull
- 25:05Speaker 3: it awesome. It's great that backside guy's really gonna hold
- 25:09Speaker 3: tight over there, or he's just gonna immediately engage and
- 25:13Speaker 3: hit the running back.
- 25:14Speaker 5: In his face. That's fun.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Love turning my shoulders to the sidelines and running inside
- 25:21Speaker 3: zone out of gun as our only run.
- 25:26Speaker 4: That's said, you have to be explosive. Anyways, what's about that?
- 25:30Speaker 5: Guy?
- 25:33Speaker 4: Kind of lost my train of thought, to be honest
- 25:34Speaker 4: with you.
- 25:34Speaker 5: Yeah, we're gonna talk about one of the.
- 25:38Speaker 7: Threw me off. How much you like Brian Kelly.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I know.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Actually what I was going to talk about was how
- 25:43Speaker 3: excited I am for spring practice, because I don't know
- 25:46Speaker 3: this to be factual.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I just believe it.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Knowing the personalities in that building, I think there's gonna
- 25:50Speaker 3: be some good spirited competition between the offense and defense.
- 25:55Speaker 4: I really do, like I'm looking forward to it.
- 25:57Speaker 3: When we were at our very best at LSU, it
- 26:00Speaker 3: was when Jimbo Fisher and Bo Planey wanted to try
- 26:03Speaker 3: to kill each other. Now after practice they were cool whatever.
- 26:07Speaker 3: During practice, murder on their mind straight. It was really
- 26:11Speaker 3: good because like you were gonna get the very best
- 26:14Speaker 3: when we went two minutes or we went like blitz
- 26:18Speaker 3: pick up that day, like a blitz period. It was
- 26:21Speaker 3: real like there was nothing like practice, simulated situation. No, no, no,
- 26:26Speaker 3: it was a game. You might not have got tackled
- 26:28Speaker 3: to the ground. Well sometimes you would because Lauren couldn't
- 26:30Speaker 3: help himself. But that was when we were at our
- 26:34Speaker 3: best because because when we did that, when we did
- 26:37Speaker 3: two minute like we did, and you know how it
- 26:39Speaker 3: was with Jimbo, He's gonna give you the worst case scenario. Hey,
- 26:43Speaker 3: you're backed up on your own seven yard line. You've
- 26:46Speaker 3: got thirty five seconds, one time out, and you got
- 26:48Speaker 3: to go score a touchdown. Oh cool against this defense,
- 26:51Speaker 3: please he because he wanted to make it as tough
- 26:53Speaker 3: as possible. Those were wars out there, like you wanted
- 26:58Speaker 3: to fight your best friend, you and your roommate were
- 27:00Speaker 3: going to fight. You'd be cool after practice, but you
- 27:03Speaker 3: wanted to hurt them. I haven't seen that in a minute.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Now. You would get some of that with Coacho, no
- 27:09Speaker 4: doubt about it.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I know for a fact that Blay Baker and
- 27:14Speaker 3: that defense staff have that in them. Now you've got
- 27:16Speaker 3: an offensive staff that a think is going to match that.
- 27:18Speaker 3: I want to get back to the offensive defensive coordinator
- 27:20Speaker 3: during practice, happy to kind.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Of be held back a little bit because when.
- 27:26Speaker 3: You treat those drills like they're the most important thing,
- 27:28Speaker 3: because guess what, when do you win games in the
- 27:31Speaker 3: two minute before the half and two minute at the
- 27:33Speaker 3: end of the game. And you put a point of
- 27:35Speaker 3: emphasis on we're doing it this tempo, this speed because
- 27:40Speaker 3: it means everything. This means everything to our success. And
- 27:43Speaker 3: that's what it was, you know, I mean, you were
- 27:44Speaker 3: part of those you had to go in and play
- 27:46Speaker 3: quarterback during those when you get to the game, you
- 27:49Speaker 3: don't have to tell them.
- 27:50Speaker 4: They already know what that means. I want to see that.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I think you're going to have that, and I can't
- 27:55Speaker 3: wait to get out the spring practice to see that dynamic.
- 27:58Speaker 6: And that was what either sorts were from training camp
- 28:01Speaker 6: this past year was that there was no fights the
- 28:04Speaker 6: entire training.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Camp, which is ludicrous.
- 28:05Speaker 6: And then of course we get to bull practice and
- 28:09Speaker 6: I think there was a fight like the first day.
- 28:11Speaker 6: So it's not me saying yeah, fights are cool, like
- 28:16Speaker 6: just go fight everybody.
- 28:17Speaker 5: That's not the thing.
- 28:18Speaker 6: It's more of like a microcosm of like your team
- 28:20Speaker 6: mentality or attitude, your competitiveness, Like you want alphas out there,
- 28:24Speaker 6: you want you want alphas to feel like they can
- 28:26Speaker 6: act like that as well. And I've just never been
- 28:30Speaker 6: a part of a successful team that didn't go out
- 28:32Speaker 6: and fight and like and that's it's you know, it's
- 28:36Speaker 6: it's a heat and like you're tired, you're in the
- 28:38Speaker 6: dog days of training camp. You don't like one another
- 28:40Speaker 6: during camp, you don't like where you're at, Like you're
- 28:43Speaker 6: not feeling good, but you're still trying to win. And
- 28:46Speaker 6: your coach is pushing you as hard as you can
- 28:49Speaker 6: to win and win the job, win the rep, win
- 28:53Speaker 6: the period, like they're they're forcing you to do that,
- 28:58Speaker 6: and then that's why tempers start to flare. Intensity goes up,
- 29:03Speaker 6: like when your coaches aren't like and it starts from
- 29:05Speaker 6: the top down, Like you said, Blake Baker in that career,
- 29:07Speaker 6: they got that, they got that dog in them, like
- 29:10Speaker 6: that it's gonna happen. It's just it's just a it's
- 29:13Speaker 6: a side effect that that happens when you practice in
- 29:17Speaker 6: the right way and you're giving them the mentality.
- 29:20Speaker 5: Like again we're not saying just.
- 29:21Speaker 6: Go fight, but hey, it's got to happen. But in football,
- 29:26Speaker 6: in training camps, and in practice, it happens. And when
- 29:29Speaker 6: it doesn't happen, I told this, like, no one gets
- 29:34Speaker 6: hurt in these fights. But you know there's face mask,
- 29:36Speaker 6: but it's just like it shows you a little juice
- 29:39Speaker 6: every like, and then no one gets wants to get
- 29:41Speaker 6: a fight because like.
- 29:42Speaker 4: You get really tired after a fight, So that's what
- 29:45Speaker 4: it like.
- 29:45Speaker 6: So you get so mad and competitive that you're you're
- 29:48Speaker 6: you it's okay, you find it worth it to risk
- 29:51Speaker 6: all of that stuff to do that and like it
- 29:54Speaker 6: just happens. Guys, I'm sorry. If you're sensitive to that,
- 29:58Speaker 6: don't play football like it happens.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I've told the story a bunch on air before, but
- 30:04Speaker 3: the example I always give is I had some really
- 30:07Speaker 3: good friends on defense in Denver, Like my best friends
- 30:10Speaker 3: were probably defensive guys on that team. But we drafted
- 30:13Speaker 3: a running back Moneyball in the second round, and they
- 30:15Speaker 3: were gonna pick on him, and they kept picking on him,
- 30:17Speaker 3: and I was like, guys, if you'll do it again,
- 30:19Speaker 3: y'all know what's gonna happen. It was my guys, My guy,
- 30:23Speaker 3: Wesley Woodard hit him late out of bounds. I was like,
- 30:24Speaker 3: all right, well we got to fight. We got to
- 30:27Speaker 3: like it. I like you, you're my friend, but I
- 30:29Speaker 3: told you stop hitting our rookie running back.
- 30:31Speaker 5: You're being a third.
- 30:32Speaker 3: We're gonna fight, and we did, and here it comes
- 30:35Speaker 3: like ten of us were brawling after that. It's like,
- 30:38Speaker 3: all right, you understand now if you hit him, Me
- 30:41Speaker 3: and Jacob Tammy the tight ends, like we got to
- 30:43Speaker 3: come protect our guy, right, And we had a couple
- 30:45Speaker 3: of brawls because of it, but we understood the assignment,
- 30:49Speaker 3: like that had to happen because we got to protect
- 30:51Speaker 3: our young running back.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Yep, you're not gonna keep hitting him late. Like if
- 30:55Speaker 4: you don't have one of those.
- 30:58Speaker 6: It's not like I don't know, it's not it back
- 31:00Speaker 6: in our day. Thing Like you talked to anybody from
- 31:02Speaker 6: any chamber you talked to. I guarantee Indiana fot this
- 31:06Speaker 6: last year, no doubt, no doubt, those dudes were fighting.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I can guarantee you.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Like interviewing Aiden Fisher and those guys, they fought, Pat Coogan,
- 31:14Speaker 3: you gotta have a little bit of that. I'm looking
- 31:15Speaker 3: forward to getting back to that because I think you
- 31:17Speaker 3: have the right mixture of coaches that are going to
- 31:19Speaker 3: elevate every single drill. And guess what, I bet they
- 31:23Speaker 3: bring back nine on seven. They didn't have inside period
- 31:27Speaker 3: last year. Football coaches, I hope I didn't just make
- 31:30Speaker 3: you wreck your car. They didn't have nine on seven
- 31:32Speaker 3: last year. Let that sink in as we go to break,
- 31:36Speaker 3: think about what I just said.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Explain to people who aren't football coaches or I've played
- 31:40Speaker 6: what nine on seven?
- 31:41Speaker 3: It's inside run drill. It's where it's the most physical
- 31:44Speaker 3: point in your practice.
- 31:45Speaker 6: Got everybody on the team except receivers. Basically, yeah, defens
- 31:48Speaker 6: has tight ends, running backs, fullbacks if you got them,
- 31:53Speaker 6: and quarterbacks, and it's the worst drill of practice.
- 31:57Speaker 4: It's intense.
- 31:57Speaker 5: It's very intense, like.
- 31:58Speaker 3: For me like if I had a day but I
- 32:00Speaker 3: had a good inside run period.
- 32:02Speaker 6: And it's a defensive for drill, like the defense should
- 32:06Speaker 6: win most of the reps. It's really hard on the
- 32:08Speaker 6: offense because they know there's no chance of a pass,
- 32:11Speaker 6: there's no chance of a playoff. They come downhill and
- 32:14Speaker 6: they get off the ball and the coaches tell the
- 32:16Speaker 6: quarterbacks only go on one. There's one snapcount. You can't
- 32:19Speaker 6: go on a quick count. It's on one. So they
- 32:23Speaker 6: know the snapcount and it makes it really hard on
- 32:25Speaker 6: the offensive lineman. And what good coaches do. They make
- 32:29Speaker 6: practices hard so that games can then be easy.
- 32:35Speaker 4: All right, hopefully you're still safe on the road, football coaches.
- 32:38Speaker 3: We will take a break more OTB when we come
- 32:41Speaker 3: back here live from.
- 32:43Speaker 4: The Raising Kings studio.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Off the bench, I still.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Can't believe that.
- 32:50Speaker 3: All right, So, over the last couple of days, we've
- 32:52Speaker 3: told you about an incredible deal that Pelican Roof.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Has going on.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Okay, so every kind of year they do something a
- 33:01Speaker 3: little bit different. And at Pelican roof right now they've
- 33:03Speaker 3: kicked off the third annual Run with Rufus fundraiser, and
- 33:07Speaker 3: so they pick somebody different every single year to raise
- 33:09Speaker 3: awareness of money for someone in our community who needs it.
- 33:12Speaker 3: And we've been telling you eleven year old Joe Joel
- 33:15Speaker 3: Moskovs who was tragically shot in the spine, leaving him
- 33:17Speaker 3: paralyzed from the neck down dependent on a ventilator right now.
- 33:21Speaker 3: He's currently undergoing stem cell treatments and so the family's
- 33:24Speaker 3: working really hard to raise money continue those treatments this year.
- 33:28Speaker 3: So the goal is forty thousand dollars. Every single donation
- 33:32Speaker 3: helps Joel and his family keep fighting, So every single
- 33:35Speaker 3: cent of it goes to him and his family. If
- 33:37Speaker 3: you want to help and you want to raise awareness,
- 33:39Speaker 3: you can go to the website Run with RUFUS dot
- 33:42Speaker 3: Com again that is Run with RUFUS dot Com, Pelicanroofing.

- 34:45Speaker 3: one hundred percent employee owned. And Matthew, speaking of employees,
- 34:50Speaker 3: I think PALLA might be interested in adding to their team.
- 34:53Speaker 6: Yeah, Palace rolling, dude, right now, they got they got
- 34:55Speaker 6: capital projects, major capital projects all across the Gulf Coast,

- 35:20Speaker 6: what they got going on. Maybe you could fit in
- 35:22Speaker 6: right there. And like we said, employee owned, relationship driven.
- 35:26Speaker 6: So if you're looking to work in that industrial world,
- 35:29Speaker 6: PALA is the best and PALA is growing like crazy
- 35:32Speaker 6: right now. So be a part of the team. Go
- 35:34Speaker 6: to Palatgroup dot com, pa LA Group dot com. Power
- 35:38Speaker 6: Industrial Contractors.
- 35:42Speaker 4: All right, we are certainly getting news throughout the NFL cycle.
- 35:47Speaker 6: It's a big it's a big betch. This is the
- 35:49Speaker 6: tampering period starts today. Then the new league year opens
- 35:53Speaker 6: tomorrow correct Wednesday, Wednesday Wednesday, So there's a two day
- 35:56Speaker 6: kind of legal tampering which sure just opening.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Period here, and so we'll start to see some deals
- 36:04Speaker 3: like the Dolphins released tool. We talked about that, I
- 36:08Speaker 3: thanking Fitzpatrick gets traded from the Dolphins to the Jets.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Sean Gary gets traded from the Packers to the Cowboys,
- 36:15Speaker 3: Trip mcduffy.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Signed his massive deal. Just a couple of things.
- 36:19Speaker 3: The Bengals aren't going to tender their backup Jake Browning,
- 36:23Speaker 3: who came in and had a flash for the Bengals
- 36:25Speaker 3: when Joe Burrow went down, uh the first time the
- 36:28Speaker 3: second time, not as much as why they went and
- 36:30Speaker 3: got Joe Flacco. We mentioned ed Ingram a little bit earlier.
- 36:33Speaker 3: So yeahs are starting to.
- 36:35Speaker 6: Move Max Cross Raiders the deal Ravens gave him two
- 36:39Speaker 6: first round picks to the Raiders for Max Crosby, a
- 36:43Speaker 6: hell of a haul.
- 36:44Speaker 3: So now the guy that you know didn't have I mean,
- 36:47Speaker 3: he didn't play in the back end of the season,
- 36:49Speaker 3: shut down a couple of games, but love love him
- 36:52Speaker 3: as a player, but didn't have his best season. It's
- 36:55Speaker 3: still it's two first round picks in return, they still
- 36:58Speaker 3: under thirty.
- 36:59Speaker 6: Uh. Hell of an athlete, but a guy that had
- 37:03Speaker 6: reportedly requested a trade. Apparently the Raiders come to him
- 37:07Speaker 6: towards the end of the season with multiple games left,
- 37:10Speaker 6: told him he's going on IR and he says, I'm
- 37:13Speaker 6: not not hurt yep, nearly now, you're just going on IR.
- 37:16Speaker 6: So he didn't take take a liking to that very
- 37:19Speaker 6: much because he doesn't believe in that they should be tanking,
- 37:22Speaker 6: which is basically what they were doing. They're putting your
- 37:24Speaker 6: healthy one of your best players on the team, if
- 37:26Speaker 6: not the best player enter team, putting them on IR
- 37:28Speaker 6: for no reason. That's a tank. And he didn't like that,
- 37:33Speaker 6: so requested a trade. And they get two first rounders.
- 37:37Speaker 6: I think now they have let the number one pick.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Now they got the I think the Ravens have the
- 37:41Speaker 6: fourteenth pick or something like that in the draft.
- 37:43Speaker 4: So it's a big haul.
- 37:48Speaker 3: So, I mean, Max is a great player, and I
- 37:51Speaker 3: know back in twenty twenty three he had fourteen and
- 37:53Speaker 3: a half sacks, but he only played in twelve games
- 37:55Speaker 3: in twenty four seven and a half.
- 37:57Speaker 4: He played in fifteen games last year, only ten, So
- 38:00Speaker 4: and I think I.
- 38:00Speaker 6: Think the Cowboys, I think the Cowboys reportedly matched that
- 38:04Speaker 6: offer as well for him. They just chose the Ravens
- 38:07Speaker 6: offer because I think the better draft positions and things
- 38:10Speaker 6: like that.
- 38:10Speaker 9: So the Cowboys were in a market for a pass rusher.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Yes, weird.
- 38:15Speaker 9: Oh, by the way, take that, Matt, I know you
- 38:18Speaker 9: were all high and mighty that Michael Parsons is a packer.
- 38:21Speaker 9: Cowboys just stole a Sean Gary ticked that.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Whoa.
- 38:25Speaker 9: It seems like it even seems like an even swells
- 38:27Speaker 9: to me.
- 38:29Speaker 6: He's a good player, fairness, Mi like it did get hurt,
- 38:34Speaker 6: so he wasn't a good player when he wasn't playing.
- 38:39Speaker 6: But good for old Jerry, old jeer bear over there
- 38:41Speaker 6: trying to make a move. Didn't get it done.
- 38:45Speaker 5: He tried, though.
- 38:45Speaker 4: It's a great move for the Raiders.
- 38:47Speaker 5: Oh it's great. Yeah, it's incredible.
- 38:49Speaker 4: Because Max sid you know, been unhappy.
- 38:52Speaker 3: His production was a little bit declining, and you're able
- 38:56Speaker 3: to get that kind of haul and so you gonna
- 38:59Speaker 3: be picking in the middle of the first round on
- 39:01Speaker 3: top of your number one overall pick you're gonna get
- 39:04Speaker 3: hopefully younger man.
- 39:06Speaker 6: We were talking about last week, like what we would
- 39:08Speaker 6: give up for just one first round draft pick, Like
- 39:12Speaker 6: it's a lot to give up for the Ravens, especially
- 39:15Speaker 6: with the Ravens, you know, coming off the season where
- 39:17Speaker 6: you're uncharacteristically bad, you fire your long term head coach,
- 39:23Speaker 6: and you're gonna got a new head coach. You're gonna
- 39:25Speaker 6: give away for two first rounders. I think they got fleeced.
- 39:30Speaker 6: It does feel like a little bit maybe a first
- 39:33Speaker 6: and second you could like argue a little bit more,
- 39:35Speaker 6: but two first rounders man with a new head coach,
- 39:38Speaker 6: a new regime coming in.
- 39:40Speaker 5: Yeah, that's it's time one hand behind their back a
- 39:43Speaker 5: little bit.
- 39:44Speaker 3: So the conversation is twenty twenty six first round pick,
- 39:48Speaker 3: which I be least fourteen, and then twenty twenty seven
- 39:50Speaker 3: first round pick, and the Ravens get you know, Max Cross,
- 39:54Speaker 3: like we're talking about so like the grades for ESPN
- 39:56Speaker 3: dot Com, any trade they put it, they gave the
- 39:58Speaker 3: Ravens a C and the Raid.
- 40:00Speaker 6: In eight plus and I would too right now, look
- 40:02Speaker 6: like you you know, he wasn't like publicly not happy.
- 40:06Speaker 6: You can get you can man, you could have got
- 40:08Speaker 6: him for less. I feel like, do you think the
- 40:10Speaker 6: Raiders are gonna hold on if you have a first
- 40:12Speaker 6: and a third offer for him, they're gonna hold onto
- 40:15Speaker 6: a gather.
- 40:15Speaker 4: You're you're gonna move him.
- 40:17Speaker 3: They got a great deal, and that division continues to
- 40:22Speaker 3: add players and get better in the West. And now
- 40:24Speaker 3: another rusher is added to the Cincinnati Bengals division where
- 40:28Speaker 3: now they have TJ.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Watt, they have Max Crosby, and they have Miles Garrett.
- 40:35Speaker 9: Poor Joe, poor Joe, and the Bengals are letting Henderson walk.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's probably go to the I think I saw
- 40:40Speaker 3: the Colts maybe a leader in the clubhouse because the
- 40:43Speaker 3: Chargers were in there. Then they signed Khalil mack back
- 40:45Speaker 3: one year, eighteen million dollars for him.
- 40:49Speaker 6: Hmmm, Cowboys, I mean, you got two first rounders if
- 40:52Speaker 6: you're willing to give. If I'm the Cowboys, Browns would
- 40:56Speaker 6: take that.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Just Hendrickson, just sign him, you give up my I
- 41:00Speaker 3: was Garrett for two first rounders, not now, not now
- 41:03Speaker 3: that Max Crosby got two first rounders anymore. Okay, let's
- 41:06Speaker 3: just play before this situation, we were talking about it.
- 41:09Speaker 3: It would take a lot not to but like, you
- 41:11Speaker 3: got to be a hell of a player. Well, obviously
- 41:13Speaker 3: Miles is, but Brown's aren't. Certainly aren't threatening next year.
- 41:18Speaker 3: I don't even know who they're starting quarterback is going.
- 41:20Speaker 5: To be next year.
- 41:21Speaker 9: That sounds like a hatter. Oh, I don't really understand
- 41:28Speaker 9: why you're so hard on him.
- 41:30Speaker 5: It's weird pro bowler. The card value is like it is,
- 41:37Speaker 5: it's insane. You explain this about the card world.
- 41:41Speaker 6: How is Jackson darts market twice as expensive as Tyler Shucks.
- 41:44Speaker 4: I know Sanders is more than that at market.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Yeah, but you've got people buying cards from all over
- 41:54Speaker 6: the world. Yeah, and Tyler Shuck's second and rookie in
- 42:00Speaker 6: the voting dart was like fourth or fifth, and his
- 42:05Speaker 6: cards are twice the price. And I'm not saying Tyler
- 42:08Speaker 6: Schuck's or cheap means yeah, that's just my god. So
- 42:14Speaker 6: doure the same way. Yeah, he's not even close to Jackson,
- 42:17Speaker 6: but like he has an equal or a little bit
- 42:18Speaker 6: above shot.
- 42:20Speaker 3: All right, before it takes break, always want to remind
- 42:22Speaker 3: you a by the friends over Rouses go to Rouses

- 43:06Speaker 3: We'll ask the bench when we come back here live
- 43:09Speaker 3: from the Raisinkain Studio.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Off the Bench, Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and
- 43:17Speaker 2: Mathline presented by Buy You Automotive.
- 43:23Speaker 3: All right, welcome back here in OTB one of mind
- 43:25Speaker 3: you better friends over at First American Bank, and trust.

- 43:52Speaker 3: that cares about this community, this part of the country,
- 43:55Speaker 3: not making decisions in New York, San Francisco, wherever. Right
- 43:58Speaker 3: here in Baton Rouge. Go to fa abt dot com,
- 44:01Speaker 3: fabt dot com, hashtag. As a bench, Pat McFee put
- 44:08Speaker 3: two balls in play versus Kershaw last week.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Do you think you could?
- 44:16Speaker 7: I don't know how many chances do I get.
- 44:18Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 44:19Speaker 3: That's tough, But I mean when we went to Nashville
- 44:22Speaker 3: for SEC media days years ago, we had a pitching
- 44:25Speaker 3: machine throwing ninety five and hit it at Texas leaguer
- 44:30Speaker 3: in the left field for a single there, but that
- 44:33Speaker 3: was ninety five straight. He did tell him what pitch
- 44:36Speaker 3: was coming, which helps the only person that in fact
- 44:39Speaker 3: did not touch the ball was Chris Dorrian.
- 44:40Speaker 6: So, and there's a lot of pressure too in those
- 44:43Speaker 6: situations that you're a professional, and we know that Kershaw
- 44:46Speaker 6: likes to hang them when the pressure is high.
- 44:51Speaker 9: This must have been playoffs.
- 44:52Speaker 5: Must have been playoffs as a bench.
- 44:54Speaker 4: What's the craziest conspiracy theory you've ever heard? A laundrie
- 44:57Speaker 4: got thirty seconds? This is your territory.
- 44:59Speaker 7: M They all turn out to be true.
- 45:01Speaker 4: So I don't know, say a draft lottery. So the
- 45:08Speaker 4: Knicks got Patrick Ewing is a good one, like the ball.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Ball, any assassination, all of them, it's got it. But
- 45:16Speaker 3: JFK is like the most interesting. There's so many different
- 45:19Speaker 3: theories and like what they say happens. Actually the one
- 45:22Speaker 3: that's like probably the farthest from.
- 45:24Speaker 4: The truth, right the least, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we see you us, you go America.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Off the bench.
